Amazing !. This is literally an amazing app! I get my daily information on all Korean news. personally I don’t really have any serious issues with it so it’s pretty fine for me but, I do hate the fact that it doesn’t alert me for specific articles that I would love to see. For example, I added bts to my fan clubs but, I just don’t get alerts unless I open the app. Yeah so that’s something you guys should take into consideration

Informative and fun. Fills me in on things I’m very interested in — Asian stars, dramas, and casting — with news I can’t get anywhere else. Also has fun recommendations and themed articles that offer new shows for me to love. Thanks, Soompi!

It's good until there's no news. When I go to check to see if there's new news but there won't be anything there. And I know there is new news because I follow them on twitter and there will be a lot of news that I didn't see on the app. Also when I load the app sometimes it duplicates articles over and over again when I’m trying to scroll down.

Love this app!. I really enjoy this app. It has lots of interesting things you don’t see everywhere.

Notifications. I LOVEEEEE this app so much only problem is I don’t get notifications for everything ?? Can we get an update where we can get notified for everything? I get notifications for certain things but not everything on this app. Whenever I get notified on a certain post i scroll down and there are some post that say it was posted like 5 minutes ago but I never got the notification for it so can you please update it where we can get notified for everything on this app that is the only complaint i have that is why I rate it so low.

Love this app!!. Great for Kpop and Kdrama fans that need to stay connected with Korean pop culture. I follow a couple of groups and I always know what’s up with my favorites.

Lacking. It’s fine for what it is, however, if an actor/actress has a show on a streaming platform other than viki, then you won’t see that show on their credits. So, it’s just incomplete as a news source. And you can’t zoom in on any photos?!?!?

What?. I really like this app because it updates me on a lot of things I didn’t know before but idk what’s wrong with it. I have to login again every time I go back to the app and because of this I don’t get any notifications from them. Also when I try to change my profile pic it keeps saying try again so I exit the app and go on it again and suddenly the new profile pic is there.

Where is it?. I want to vote for my group for the soompi awards but the place where I am suppose to vote is not on the app. Where is it? What’s happening?

I love this app. It is such a shame that I have so many technical issues with it because it is fun, informative, and well done. It would be 5 stars without ongoing technical difficulties.

Ok But Can’t Log In. Recently the Soompi app is not communicating well with the Facebook app. I can’t log into Soompi with Facebook because it opens a browser window which tell me to download the FB app which opens the App Store which opens the FB app which dies nothing. It’s still usable. I get the articles but I can’t like or bookmark anything. It’s just frustrating. Other apps open the FB app to authenticate rather than a browser window

Great but.... I wish we could turn on post notifications for specific artists!! I really want to get notified for all news about my faves like Stray Kids but the notifications are random and not related to who you follow which is annoying. Please add this feature!!

Love Korean Cultute. I love hating and reading about all my favorite Korean stars . I live in California but one day hope to get the opportunity to visit Korea it is # 1 on my Bucket List

Fix it. I really love the app, but now, it’s getting 50/50. About a month or two ago, it started closing on its own while I’m in the middle of reading an article & whenever there is a new quiz, it won’t let me take it, I have to go online to do it😤please fix it, I’d hate to uninstall it

Latest Update = Comments are here, but they don’t work. Comments have been added back, thanks! But, when I try to add a comment, I keep getting a decoder error. I’ve tried reinstalling the app... it doesn’t work. 😞

Need update & modification. iPad app is ugly , needs to adapt to the iPad interface. Both iPad and iPhone apps need dark mode, please update to dark mode feature. If you can apply dark mode on website it has to be done on smart phones and iPads. Also Once signed in with account , app keeps signing me out, please fix this bug I am tired of signing in over and over again. Let us enjoy the app, don’t have us grow tired and delete the app for no solution or if bugs not being fixed

Fav Korean Dramas Available Only On Viki. That’s right! Dramas not even featured are available here. Wonderful, just go and Search. An example is “Marriage, Not Dating - not on Netflix but it’s in Viki. I recommend to get Viki Pass Plus too for HD viewing.

Login Trouble. The app won’t let me sign in through Facebook, it keeps telling me that the app is not set up and is still in development mode. Due to this I can’t save or like any articles or see the ones I’ve already saved.

Great Content 👌🏼. The fun and cute quizzes are entertaining and the articles give up-to-date content. It's fun to just scroll through and see what's going on in real time too.

I love it❤️❤️. Love the app it's simple and updates news quite frequently so we don't get old news on dramas or bands we love.

Small pictures.. The new Soompi ap is a waste of space. A tiny picture in the middle. Bring back the old one or make the pictures bigger. I know they get larger if you tap on the article but still not good

Updates needed. Before I switch to iPhone X, I would get notifications but it wouldn’t lead directly to it or sometimes the app failed to update its articles as fast as the website. Also major updates needed for iPhone X users.

Fix bug. Please for the love god fix the bug that shows 4 notifications that never go away! It’s been like this for months, please fix it.

No Voting Option. I got this app to vote for the 14th annual awards, and the little voting tab that’s supposed to be at the bottom of the screen isn’t there. I’ve tried everything and it still won’t let me vote or even enter the voting portal on the app. Very frustrating:/

Nothing but BTS anymore.. It used to be a fun way to catch up on k-pop/drama news but it’s literally 75% articles of BTS. they just update articles of other artists but it’s legit, every other article a BTS article. It’s so boring I don’t ever use the app anymore. It’s such a joke.

Great source for K-entertainment news!. I love that Soompi keeps me up to date on all the latest in Korea that I wouldn’t see otherwise. Especially love their drama lists and updates I can always bookmark and look up later so I always have something new to watch!

No notifications... The app doesn't give me notifications for new articles at all...i have it turned on in my iphones settings, but still nothing....it's the whole reason I downloaded the app..

Review. I love this app it helps me to get updated with the current k-pop related news... but the only thing is that in my notifications is appear that I have 8 notifications not open. I opened the app and it doesn’t disappear..

amazing app but would love it if we were notified of certain things!!. this is an amazing app and i use it every day. i love how there is korean news in english, as well as fun quizzes, fan clubs, exclusives, voting, etc. huge thank you to the soompi team for bringing this app to us!! one thing i feel like the app is lacking though is individualized notifications. for instance, if someone replied my comment that i left on an article, it would be great if i could be notified of that. or, since we have fan clubs, maybe some notifications if articles that have a certain fan club of ours in them? idk maybe these personalized notifications i’ve been talking about are already a thing, but if they aren’t, it would be a great addition to an amazing app.

It’s ok ☹️☹️☹️☹️. I am really disappointed on Soompi it is a great app but like I was trying to vote for my favorite artist but when I try to vote it said I need to download the Soompi app☹️ which is disappointing.

One of my favorites!!!!. Loving K-drama and Kpop this is the app for me. I have not found anything better anywhere. It wakes me with alerts about my favorite groups and actors it just awesome. Thanks to the developers and ITunes.

Notifications Bug!!. The app is great.. but I had been experienced with a bug? Basically, about several months ago, I updated the app, things went normally. Until one day, a notification popped up, well curiously, I clicked to check the new. Then I quit the app, but the red notifications is there.. so I tried to go back to the app to see notifications.. but it doesn’t go away.. I tried to wait for updates to fix this but nothing happens.. it seems like I’m only the only one that experienced this. Please fix! It bugged me so much!! Thank you! And I also tried to uninstall the app but the notifications is still there.

Soompi 💕. I love this app. It's easy to use, so far bug free, and has the news I want to see about Korean entertainment.

Notifications.. I go to the app to get the notifications off my app. No matter what I refresh it still shows for notifications. It just becomes more and more notifications.

Awards. I can’t open the freaking award what did you do wrong Soompi?? my version is 2.2.2 but then it kept saying I have to download the app to vote!! Damnn please fix

Not like the website. Why can’t this be more like the actual website? You’re limited in what show up when you’re doing a search. You can’t even find a show on the forums.

Amazing!. Soompi really is a good app for kpop fans like me and many others. It gives us updates on things like comebacks and more recently Jimin’s donation to the students in Busan. I really love the app and I’m sure others enjoy it just as much as I do!

Disappointed. I'd hate to give a bad review but I'm disappointed in you Soompi. When I first downloaded the app, everything was fine and I was super excited to use the app. But now idk what happened. Nothing comes up when I search BTS but articles about them are there. When I refresh it just doubles or triples each article. On each category it's the same as the ones on HOME. And I can't really reload to see more articles. It is getting really frustrating using the app. It's was all good at first but idk now. 😔

Love this app. The writers of the articles are amazing and so specific. This gives me my daily dose of the tea and of all the other stuff I should know but don’t😂 only suggestion is notifications when someone comments to your comment. I feel it necessary to respond to certain comments of my comments at times but I have to go back and find them in order to do so. It is a real pain. That’s an update o hope to someday see:)

convenient.. It's a nice and convenient app, though it would be better to be able to follow certain tags on the app - you'll only be notified of news that relates to the artists/dramas you're interested in.

can’t log in. i created an account with my Facebook so that i could vote in awards and comment on articles but after 2 days i was randomly logged out and it won’t let me log in with Facebook again because the details are “already being used for an account”. been nearly a week since i was able to access my account. VERY frustrating.

You glowed up. One of my favourite apps, and you just made it so much more better and beautiful, *wipes tear*, thank you.

Informative. I love using this app and finding information easily, the only adjustment I wish for the company to make is the Artists you have in your fan club (adding/taking).

Biased Reporting. Soompi was the site I used to look to for its focus on factual K-Wave reporting rather than simple clickbait and rumour articles that other sites employed. Nowadays Soompi is just as guilty of this offence as the others. I feel like Soompi writers and editors are alienating large swathes of readers simply by their very obvious biased reporting on groups such as BTS and using the popularity of said groups to create 'fan wars' simply for greater view counts. They focus so much on particular groups that I wouldn't be surprised if they're being paid to write articles about them. As for the app itself I find it often crashes or fails to load articles. I've also had issues with NSFW ads popping up randomly.

Lower Rated Groups?. You guys are always 10/10 on reporting new casts to dramas and new releases for big groups, however I think you need to promote lesser groups more in their comebacks - Dreamcatcher’s latest comeback Odd Eye didn’t get its own article nor did it come up in the latest news when something got written about it. To read about an upcoming comeback, potential fans had to scroll back days to find a correlating article just to read that there was a comeback. Basically, to find out Dreamcatcher was having a comeback through Soompi, we had to scroll through to the last Dreamcatcher update and read the “update” through that. This doesn’t seem like fair advertising/communication of work to me as Dreamcatcher was the most highly voted online for weeks but yet have never won a music show because their comebacks aren’t communicated like more popular groups are on popular streaming sites and music shows. There was no mention of any teaser photos in the posts either. Thank you, Grace.

Always excited. I really love how often there are news posts and quizzes, I always catch up with my friend and we gossip about the new articles. This app is great, I love it.

Not working well.... Love this app and used to work brilliantly but lately it has not been refreshing content very quickly through wifi or 4g, today when I went onto it I couldn't read the stories as the when I tried to scroll down it moved onto another story. It appeared to be displacing as a webpage rather than mobile/app view. Please fix!

It is not working.... I have a question. The awards button is not showing up on my screen. What should I do, I can’t vote. Please tell me as soon as possible.

Loading problem. Love the app, except it crashes all the time and some articles never load no matter how long I wait or refresh the page. Quizzes never pop up on the page and some articles never finish loading.

Where are the comments. They remove a few of the things I like. We can’t see the comments anymore.

You left your app in development mode on FB!. I have not been able to log in via Facebook for a couple of weeks now! It says the app is in development mode in Facebook. Can you please fix? Also, your app support does not have a form for us to submit tech issues, just lots of FAQS that don’t help!

Crashes. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't keep crashing. Sometimes, the stuff wouldn't even update. So that took 2 stars away. Please fix it if you want a 5 star rate
