Close to fun. This game falls into the category of “this would be fun if it didn’t fit the game for adds, energy and micro transactions”. There is an element of fun underneath the covers and it might trick you into thinking it’s a good game, but without spending beaucoup bucks it’s a hollow shell that shows its hand almost immediately.

Very Fun. Little bit of luck involved but really fun.

Forced ads every level. At first I really liked the game. Great art. Fun design. After about an hour of play suddenly the forced ads started. Ever level I play now requires watching a 30 second ad. Completely ruins the experience.

Super Fun And Addicting. This game is easy to grasp, but challenging. I love the theme and the strategy involves how to use your die through each level.

Deceptively simple.... At first. This is more than just rolling dice. Then you realize the depth of strategy here. This is a free game so there’s ads but you must visit the fortune teller to trigger them for which you receive a few coins and gems, the game’s currency. Oh, and there’s Monty Python references.🎲🎲🎲

It's a blast!. A lot of fun! Seems a lot less frustrating when you don't get the roll you need, as it feels pretty fair, compared to other games like this. Highly recommended!

FREE. Not stopping play every other action to watch an ad! Maybe later in the game? It is fun and has an excellent flow.

Enjoyable. I keep getting error messages that "something is wrong in the network, try again later" but it keeps happening. My wifi works fine with everything else. I've played the same levels multiple times and won but then got the error message and had to play the level all over again. Other than that I am really enjoying this game! Fun to play on lunch at work, or queueing up somewhere.

No communication. I have been playing this game for a while now, even spent money to get rid of the ads from popping up.. I believe this game has been abandoned .. no guild communication, no ability to hit the titan .. I even tried to subscribe to the subscription to the e-zine .. no communication .. nothing .. I have loved this game but there is no communication. I am about to jump ship and put my time elsewhere .. at this time don’t get involved with this game

Addictive and Simple. This game was originally recommended to me my a friend and I'd have to say it's quite fun. The mechanics are super easy to pick up, the fights are pretty straightforward. All in all it's a great game to play in a down moment between work. The only issue I've ever had is the issue I see a few people have mentioned before. The auto targeting is a little odd at time, but it's not game ruining.

Worth a try. Fun game very addicting at first, only suggestion would be maybe incorporate extra abilities.

Didn’t know what to expect.... But this game is amazing! The artwork is awesome, gameplay is easy to pick up, and the idea is something new. It’s refreshing to see something that isn’t a ripoff of something else on the top charts. The tutorial is short, yet in depth enough to help you learn. Gameplay itself is super simple, yet there is enough to it to keep you from getting bored. It can be mindless or strategic and I love the dice collecting! Each die does something different and you make a “team”, much like any other rpg out on the App Store right now. Different combos will have different strengths and power, and there can be a bit of a grind to level up so you can level your dice. The game doesn’t feel like you have to pay to get anywhere, either. I’m obsessed after just a couple of hours and I can’t wait to see what is added in the future. Great job, devs! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with this awesome idea!

Pretty great. This is just what I was looking for in a cell phone game. Five stars

Addicting. I didn’t think a digital dice game would work for me. I thought I’d miss the tangible feeling of throwing dice. And while you could arguably make this into a real dice game, having it on mobile makes it flow so much faster.

Ads. Ads are fine as long as they are optional. Got a forced ad when I started a match. Immediately uninstalled.

Would be fun if it didn’t require a million ad domains. Was able to play through the intro, but after that the game was stuck at trying to reconnect constantly. I checked my Pihole DNS server and it was because the app was trying to talk to a series of ad/tracker domains. First game I’ve ever had that had this issue. Concept seems fun and would love to play but not at the cost of allowing a ton of ad domains.

Aside from the cool, easy to learn, pick up and play mechanics that thoroughly reward thoughtful, strategic play, at its heart, it’s just plain fun. At the end of the day, that’s what’s you’re looking for in a game, no? The colorful art is stylish and cohesive with high amounts of polish. The sound effects and music are suitable and are thematically solid. A wide variety of modes, which open up as you progress, provide myriad avenues with which to further gather resources and experience to satisfyingly increase the power of your dice homies, in turn, raising your own personal power. On this front, the patient will find that monetary gains from the bulk of completed levels can be doubled merely by watching a short video. This most often proves to be totally worth your 15-30 seconds, saving you from spending the generously awarded diamonds (One of the two in-game currencies) to be spent on hunting and evolving your cubic army. As previously stated, Dice Hunter is loads of fun, and doesn’t constantly assault you with asking for money, while not hiding the game behind an obnoxious pay wall. It’s simply, the best, most engrossing, most fun mobile game this gamer has stumbled across in a very, very long time. Bravo, Greener Grass. Good on you.

Fun but no lasting power. A lot of fun and easy to learn for a few days, a week tops. Then it is pay 2 play from that point on. The dice simply cannot evolve to best levels above 65 or so without paying to upgrade with real money. Maybe it continues to be fun if you pay money like $20 a week, but that is not for me; I’ll play a console game for that

Fun at First. Starts out strong, but gets repetitive. Uninstalled once the inevitable difficulty creep and pay-to-win kicked in.

Pretty great casual game. I really enjoy this game. You're able to advance and play without paying, although the gem route is there for you if you want, and unlike a lot of free to play games this title seems pretty complete even without using paid items.

fantastic. get it.. a lot of people are finding this game pay to win. its not. its just challenging. theres plenty of strategic options at your disposal. if you want to beat the game, you'll have to rely on all of them. its really great. get it! :)

Blast to play. Great game mechanics that are easy to follow. Even though it’s free to play there isn’t any real pressure or need to purchase anything to enjoy the game

Annoying. A friend wants to join my guild and can’t! There is no way he can find me because the games him a selection to choose So if you plan to bring a friend in forget it. Not gonna happen. Was really enjoying the game and told him about it and told him he could join my guild when he reached lvl 4. He worked his way up to lvl 4 for no reason because the game wont let him join my guild.

Love the game. Just wish there were more dice varieties and levels

A lot of Potential. Outright, very fun game, awesome mechanics, great artwork, looks to be playable pretty long term. Downsides start appearing quickly however, energy based systems are never great, progression is crazy slow, seems like dice are going to be on a gacha based system but earning diamonds takes quite a while, you need achievements to earn diamonds but play is limited through energy, and I had played this game for a few hours until I was asked for a review, and right afterwards forced ads started to appear. If it wasn’t for those things this would be a 5/5 I play every day, hopefully in the future these things can be more balanced, and if you don’t mind these things this game is awesome

Good game ruined by ads. I enjoy the concept and it’s fun. But you get hit with a lot of ads entering new stages and always given the opportunity to 2x rewards by watching more. So you’re either inefficient with energy by skipping 2x rewards ads or end up spending more time on ads than playing. The game is also buggy and freezes while loading a stage once in a while and you lose your energy if you force close and open it back up.

Addictive. The game itself is quite enjoyable. I have one complaint, though. I play on iPhone 7, iOS 14.2, and my game crashes every 5-10 minutes, especially around the ads. This could be caused by my old phone, the iOS version, or the game. Other than this issue, this game is very entertaining.

Energy based game with forced ads? No. I really enjoyed the game, at first. Then before every level there are forced ads. On top of that, this game is energy-based, meaning each time you play a level you use a specific amount of energy. I can understand that if you run out of energy and you want to watch an ad to replenish, but forced ads are a no go.

Great game but a battery hog. A fantastic game that is easy to learn but remains tremendously fun. Don’t forget to pick up the daily free dice shards in the store. The use of ‘dice’ in the game as a singular noun (instead of ‘die’) is a little jarring for my grammar sensibilities, but that is obviously minor. My only significant negative comment is that the app consumes a large portion of my battery life when left running in the background. I am guessing that the app is syncing with the server an unnecessary amount. So, as long as you kill the app between sessions, you’ll have a great time with this product.

Fun dice collector. Fun mechanics and a decent amount of free additions to your dice collection. Excellent game overall.

Fun. Has a really good story

Ok Gameplay but Horrible ad experience. Played this game about 2 weeks until I couldn't take ads popping up every other level. I understand devs need to make money but some of these ads REQUIRE you to force close your game to continue (because theres no x to close them?) And guess whats waiting when you reopen it... another ad:)

It’s different. The drawing rate is horrible with the faux tap to stop scheme as if you had a chance or control to get anything more than 2 stars. It’s not completely p2w but it’s not entirely f2p friendly. Pay walls are built in everywhere.

Great idea greedy implementation. Hard to give anything more than two stars anymore to these games that nickel and dime you and squeeze you left and right removing the fun out of the game and turning it into just pay to play. Really good concept would’ve been a fun game if it was a premium game maybe next time

Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been looking for a simple game with a cute art style to play for a couple of months, nothing serious and this game was exactly what I was looking for. There is a gacha aspect without the game being overly biased towards stronger units (since it’s an RNG dice game). I love the battle mechanic. Simple yet fun to play. If you are thinking about downloading this game, just do it. I promise you won’t regret at least trying it out.

Forced ads are a no go. My wife loves this game and I was having fun until just now when I uninstalled because I was forced to watch an ad to start a level. Ironic how that feature kicked into gear after the game asked me to review. Value my time too much to get into games that force ads.

Add more dice characters. I love the game but they only have a little bit of dice characters, I wish they would add more characters,I had the game like 1 yr ago and I regot it and they basically have the same characters

Also the adds are as bad as they come take like 30 seconds then have so many little tricks to try get you to click on them and then more time you have to wait until you can actually get back to the game. The bug ate 4 stars. Another update with "lots of improvements", but still suffering from the old and annoying bug with a force wave not reaching the top row occasionally. I've just had two lightnings which crushed an egg in the bottom row, but left three other in the top row unaffected.

Great game :). This game has a good balance going (not too much energy spend, ability to replay levels, easy enough to play f2p) and the most recent updates remove some of the niggly annoying bits. This game is on my daily play list and it's unique, fun and challenging :) good show, old chaps!

Best game ever!. This is really the best game ever

What happened?. Ok, I know that this game is good and stuff, but I stopped playing for a bit because the gameplay got a little grindy, and the fact that the guild I was in wasn’t as active as they were before (As well as our top players soloing Titans.😳) which led me to taking a break (And me potentially getting kicked… it has been a while😅). But now I hear that social interaction with other players have been restricted? Our ability to Chat with other members in our guild has been stripped away? Why? Because you no longer support Facebook? (Not that I do as well, there's a reason I stopped using that service.😒) Hopefully we get it back so we can co-ordinate our attacks better. For real though, if this game goes offline soon, it'll be another lost gem in a pool of… well… garbage. Seriously, this is a good game, and I don't want to see it go! 😔

You like dice. This game has them. They are a bit price to get. But you can get them for free doing quests and levelling up. That takes time and you know is free try it.

Energy...... Great game so far, addictive, but its wayyyyyy too long for the energy to recharge. I get the point that you want us to spend money but come on..... 1 game per hour is ridiculous. Otherwise its a good game.

Great game. A fun slow paced game involving both luck and strategy in which you collect creatures to increase your abilities. Few games come to mind and of those this one definetly takes the cake. The game has had no issues on my end and the run speed is around average.

Fantastic. Visually stunning and fun.. Played this a year (or so ago) and finished it. Came back to see if new levels have been added. I’ve been set to the beginning again and had to start over - but all the improvements you e made has made it worthwhile. Great game. Thanks.

Good game, poorly balanced. The game has good mechanics and was instantly addictive, but now I've beaten all the levels and only have half the possible dice. When will I have enough opportunity to collect them all? Dice hunts are few and far between, expensive, and often useless (shards for dice that you don't have or have at 5 stars already). Needs rebalancing around the dice roll mechanic, maybe a free dice roll per day. Many similar games have ad skipping built into the IAPs, and this game could benefit from it. Feels like less of a cash grab now that they've sped up the energy accumulation, still some work to do.

Won't Load. The game was fun until I logged into Facebook and played it on both my iPhone 5S and iPad Pro. It stopped loading at the title screen. After deleting the app and reinstalling, it opened again, but then would not load after the FB login. Also, the energy system ruins the game. Don't keep people from playing the game as a means of making money. You're presuming they have nothing else to do.

They Listened to Us!. Very cool game with awesome art style. The concept is very cool, but at a certain point the game gets very hard if you haven't leveled your dice. Edit: The energy recharge time has been lowered and now I have almost nothing bad to say about this game.

Simple original mechanics yet lots of depth. Cool genre bending mechanisms with a lot of depth to the tactical and push your luck decisions both with assembling your team of dice as well as during combat. Excellent free to play model. Lots of value if you can be patient dealing with energy replenishment.

Very cool and original game.. A good combination of luck and strategy. Takes a simple Yahtzee style dice mechanic where each die has different symbols and a different power adds drop down waves of enemies that require different combinations of dice symbols to defeat, and a bit of deck building in the form of dice selection. The only thing I don't like is the free to play panhandling and randomness of the dice acquisition. I keep getting shards instead of new dice. I would rather pay once to unlock a full game.

Although, if you have more than one device and are planning to log into Facebook, make sure to log in at the beginning of your game, so you don't lose progress. When reporting a problem customer service was very prompt in their response and did everything to their ability to fix the problem. They will definitely have my business and support in this game and future apps they produce! Thanks for a great game and outstanding customer service!

Fantastic. I am always looking for new mobile games. These days most games play the same, and require you to play boring gameplay and then spend premium currency to try your luck at summoning heroes or monsters. I immediately delete those games (most top grossing games right now) Dice hunters is different. The gameplay is fun and challenging! The summoning is simple and easy to get good dice. Does everything that these P2W games can't, offer a fun game that can be replayed consistently without getting bored.

Very fun but one problem. This has been a very fun and addicting game that I find myself going back to time and again. Unfortunately it has one glaringly frustrating flaw that is almost to the point of making me quit. That flaw is the auto targeting the game does when you kill your current target and have more attacks left. The game says that it will target an enemy that is going to attack but if you have four or five possible targets it usually picks the one with the most health, oftentimes, at least in my case, leaving the enemy and four others that could have been killed alive and attacking me, instead of killing the four others and leaving only the one. If it is going to be auto attack then it needs to target the weakest, have the option to set it to target the weakest, or allow you to pick your targets after you kill an enemy and still have attacks left.

Terrible. The idea for the game is pretty good, but the difficulty makes it very hard to get to the actual goal (To get all the monsters back into their dice.) I tried about four times on a level, and it was only on the second land! I would recommend the knights not being able to put their armor and shields back, which would make it much more easier and faster to get to the end of the game. I know that if it's harder it takes longer to complete the game, and when it takes longer to complete, the producers make more money, but this is just ridiculous. I hope this game will get easier in the future, till then, I will delete this app.

The game is great besides a major glitch. I haven't completed tutorial due to this glitch so I can't speak for the entire game. From what I saw this is a very fun game. Until I was offered the daily reward and after rolling the dice my game crashes. This happens every time I try to play it.

Great game, but I'm wondering if there will be different kind of die. I'm really enjoying the game but I want more than just d6, I think it would be really cool if there were d4 and d8 in the game. And maybe also make it less hard to get dice hunts.

Very fun and possibilities are numerous. If the game developers decide to keep putting work into the game the strategy and puzzles could make for a great game. Suggestion: a dice with only star and lightning. Ability to open a gate/remove a shield/ auto remove star lightning requirements. Not sure if there is something like this already as I am only level 10, but being very into games and design I see great possibilities.

Energy ruins this game. The mechanics of this game are incredibly good. Unfortunately, there is a terrible energy mechanic that means you'll quickly get to a point where you can try just a couple of fights before you have to wait 25 minutes per point of energy to regenerate or buy some of the overpriced currency. It's really sad to see such a great game ruined by excessive monetization. I want to keep playing this game, and tell all of my friends about it, but I can't support this kind of garbage. Update: The devs listened to reviews and made the energy/stamina recharge faster. That's worth a bump. Energy/stamina mechanics are idiotic and sleazy, though, so still only three stars. Removing it altogether would easily make this a 5-star game.

So. Much. Fun.. If you like the game King of Tokyo, then this is the best mobile app (in my opinion) for you. This game has depth and is very fun. Strategy is a big component, which I did not expect at first. Easy to understand and pick up on as well. Have fun!

Fun game, BUT.... Really fun game, but after around 2 hours of playing you reach a point where you can't play any longer. The energy takes forever to replenish and the levels get too difficult for you to beat without spending gems to replenish your health. They basically force you to pay a ton of money to continue playing this game. Sad such a cool idea is ruined by this greedy game model.

Very Fun Game!. I am into board gaming so when I read the description of Dice Hunter I downloaded it immediately! So far I have not been disappointed! The gameplay is fantastic! I love the fact that you have to choose which die is going to bring you a better advantage for each stage through favor, levels, or what appears on the die faces. It doesn't bring the complexity of a board game but you do have to make choices that will effect gameplay. The only reason I gave this 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because it is an stamina/microtransaction based game. 20 minutes per stamina point is way too much. I don't get to choose when I have an hour to sit, relax and play a game - my child does. I would much rather a dev make a fantastic game (like this one) and have you pay to purchase it rather than limit your gameplay through a stamina based system. I understand that dev teams want to make money. (we all do) so I would like to see some sort of a permanent unlock feature (for a price) added in the future. That way the devs can get the money they deserve for a solid product and I get to play a game that I enjoy for as long (or short) as I like when I have the time to do so. Overall a truly enjoyable game. It just came out a week ago so I expect to see some good things in the future. Keep up the good work.

Great mobile fun. Loving this game. It plays fast and the dice tactics is a blast. I wish it wasn't quite so free-to-play. I don't mind paying for a game as polished and enjoyable as this one, but I wish the prices were a bit cheaper.

Very cool and fun game!. Been really enjoying this game so far. The gameplay and strategy is streamlined and pretty awesome actually. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the generic f2p bs that is always annoying to me. Things like energy timers, dice levels/stars that must be advanced through multiple currencies, random drops being the only way to acquire new dice, constantly asking me to watch ads etc. the game itself is really enjoyable but the f2p systems are tired and overdone. Will continue to play, but save my money until hopefully they find more interesting ways to ask for it.

Fun game with flaws. In terms of gameplay it's relatively quick, simple, addicting and fun. However once you hit a certain point I wouldn't say it becomes pay to win but the grind to get new dice or to get enough gold or shards to improve your collected dice becomes very tedious. The rewards (daily, stage, dungeon etc.) start to really pale in comparison to what's needed to advance and unless you are willing to spend $5usd on a chance at a new monster die (that starts to have a relatively high chance and only netting you dice shards, a currency to evolve your dice, and usually not nearly enough to evolve anyway. All in all a fun game but enjoy it for free while you can because unless something is done about the pricing structure the premium currency is a total ripoff.

Great game but horrible stamina system. This game is fun but the fact that I have to wait as long as I do just to play a match that I may or may not win is making me not want to continue playing. There is so much luck involved which is fine, but the fact that most times I lose off of bad luck and have to wait over an hour just to try again is frustrating.

Super game but some issues.... This game is great fun and very addictive. Would've given it 5 stars easily but for the god-awful stamina system that limits your play time. Yeah, many games use stamina but 22 minutes to refresh a single point...seriously? Shame on you game devs. And I'm a gamer willing to spend money for reasonable value. But $5 per drop is obscene. I never spend any money on games this greedy. Enjoy until you hit the paywall.

Great Game. Great game, puzzle are fun, game mechanic is unique, if you like the board game Quarriors you will likely enjoy this. Dice acquisition is very slow, but if you just treat the game as a puzzle game and let the dice come as they may you'll enjoy the game. After almost a month of play I'm upgrading this to a five star review. It's a great puzzler that keeps me coming back. My original four star review was due to the slow dice acquisition, but it really doesn't detract from he game treat this as a puzzle game and not a collecting game.

Pretty Good. Pros: All leveling up is useful. Even one-star dice can be upgraded to five-star dice (and some of their powers can get really useful eventually). The gameplay is thinkie but not too bad. Cons: Once you are high level, you can start getting a good amount of redundant, wasted items on expensive "Dice Hunt" rolls. You can't "dust" them or anything like you can in other games, so it's a total waste. It would be fun if there was more variety in die faces and such... or if the dice themselves were customizable. I really wish I could give them money to get ad rewards without watching ads. That would improve the experience immensely.

Money Gamble :(. I enjoy the game, but the dice shard mechanic is sad. I have maxed out my hydra to 5 stars but continue to receive hydra shards on daily missions and on gem rolls. Once a dice is maxed out on stars they should remove its shards from the loot table. This means I could spend money to buy gems to roll for loot and get absolutely nothing if I land on hydra shards. Spending money with a chance to receive nothing for it is a scam.

Very fun but...... I love this game, when it works. Problem is that lately I keep getting the message " we are having issues with our network please try again later" well when I get that message every time I play and I mean EVERY time I play, it makes it no fun. I have perfect LTE service so it's not my phone. Please fix soon or I'm deleting!

Great premise and art design. Surprised so many people are bashing the FTP system. I played for a couple hours, got to level 26 or so, and only ran out of energy once. The game adds layers of depth slowly, which I loved. Just when you get confused or think that's it, they add a new element. I hope the interface changes over time (i.e. You can't see gold after a match when you're collecting energy because the displays overlap) but overall I'm addicted.

Fantastic game, but the IAPs are pricey.. Fast-paced RPG strategy game with a lovely soundtrack. This game is made for people on the go, where you can take a few turns, close the game, and continue your quest later! The only wrinkle I have about the game is how pricey the IAPs are. I would love to support the developers but we as consumers need to be fairly compensated as well. 4/5
