Great Game! Too expensive!. The game is great! Very interactive! Live players good resolution and most important is when you are lying down on your couch resting and wanting to do nothing, you can play on your mobile like i do. One great feature is that you can play for free, that is one credit we have to give to the developers! And you can collect money and diamonds. We need to thank them for that! The game is always interesting but, it has two setbacks. If you want to upgrade you need diamonds and they are expensive really expensive, in my case i dont buy so i am stuck with a tier 2 tank and in some matches, many actually i am totally destroyed, i need to play smart just to collect money and diamonds from the field and do some back hits, i am no competition to the rest! And the second setback is that you get demoted when you dont play!

Greedy Developers. Really fun game when you start out but once you reach certain ranks you start to face off against opponents with stronger tanks and using customization. You are forced to purchase coins/diamonds in order to buy a stronger tank, upgrades or customization. Trying to collect coins/diamonds is not going to cut it when upgrades cost so much. In order to be competitive at all you have to run customization on your tank or you will be lucky to obtain a couple of kills. I have a strong tank but if I don’t spend 2200+ diamonds for 5 days of customization I will be killed easily by opponents. Just no way to compete. And of course purchases are extremely expensive. You will spend several hundred dollars if not thousands if you get addicted to the game and want to compete. And of course as you progress in rank to the general level you start to face opponents that are superior even though you have a strong tank. The matchups become extremely unfair and the developers are obviously trying to get you to spend money to upgrade your tank. Even if I purchase diamonds/coins for $99 it is still not enough to get me one upgrade since it now costs me so much to complete one upgrade. I am done spending money and when I deplete my current coins/diamonds I will find a new game or create a new account and play for free until I am not competitive anymore. Don’t get roped into this game unless you are willing to spend a lot of money down the road.

Like the action but dislike the cost.. I do like the action. An appropriate amounts of details are included to make the game realistic enough. There are some details that an actual tank should be to plow through or over but you get stuck behind in this game. There are still some glitches that make the tanks act wonky from time to time. In fact, the latest update introduced more glitches than it apparently fixed. My biggest peeve is the cost. Not necessarily the extra bells and whistles you can buy, you can avoid these easily enough if you don't want them. But it's the unnecessary pop ups where one accidentally clicks on the purchase button cause it wasn't there a moment ago and then cancel said accidental purchase. I suspect many of them still get submitted to Apple and since I do not keep a record of what I do buy and/or cancel, I realistically cannot contest them. There is also a huge disconnect between when I do buy something to when Apple actually charges me for them. Sometimes it's a week or more till I see the charges and that makes even more difficult to contest. Other games I see the charges within a day or two. Improving this alone would be greatly appreciated.

Higher cost than other tank games. I gave been playing this game for over two years. I do like the action but could be better. Game play favors those who play to play not everyone. If you are a player who can’t afford to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars be prepared to be fodder for others . Game set up so payers $$$ advance and us others only get half way at best . There should be a side game to earn coins or diamonds to build up tanks for war or even save up to get better tanks . I understand that owners need to make money yet this is the most costly game I play(cost=reward) . If I had thought about it in the beginning I (and still am ) should have bought a PlayStation or Xbox . At least I would have something to show for it . Game says needs update so I go to do update and all it wants is my credit card info to make purchases. That’s no update. Can’t play game without completing update -giving them my credit card info. They must be changing game to pay only to play . They probably won’t even put this review up

Target Practice ?. Don’t get me wrong, this is over-all a fun game. Graphics are great, and yes it’s addicting. The downside of the game - have your card ready. Sure it’s free if you desire to be target practice for those with larger, more modern tanks. How did they get them - you guessed it , cash. Sure you can spend weeks trying to get decent equipment, but cash is king, and good luck trying to advance. Once you get a tank, you can spend and spend to better your tank. Once you reach a certain level you can pick a better tank, and spend more and more advancing through the levels to improve your tank. Personally done spending as I have been. Got a great tank, and was offered the next level for the right price. Of course I’d be given the lowest level of x tank, but can spend to improve it. Unless you get something like an Abrams, you only serve as target practice for those who have them. Lot of fun , but a lot of spending to get to a good level - of course there is always a better level :)

The Game is Fun, But...... Do not mislead yourself. This is a pay to play game, and if you are competitive, eventually you will be plunking down real money to play. There comes a point where you have to buy ammo or a better tank. Yes, there are tanks that can be bought with coins you get in the game. However, those tanks are generally the weakest in their tier, and to get a competitive tank you need to spend diamonds. You can collect small amounts of diamonds in the game, but to have enough to buy tanks, or ammo, you purchase diamonds with real money. As an arcade gamer from way back, to me it’s not much different than pumping quarters in a machine. If it bugs you to pay, don’t play. You will get frustrated with it at some point and quit because your tank will become obsolete. Having said all that, it’s a fun first person shooter game. It requires some strategy and being able to work with a team, or clan , is nice. It could use “in game” personal messages, but it doesn’t have that. It does have group chat. Worth checking out.

I'd give it 5 stars..... I've been playing this game for well over a year now, and have to admit it's addictive. I felt it was definitely a 5 star game. And through most of that time, I enjoyed it because I felt it was a game of skill. I've come to learn it's not. It's a game of money and luck. The more money you spend, the more fun it is. If like me, you thought you could do well with skill, you eventually learn it's impossible. So I started to spend just a little, to get an edge, but it's never enough, because luck plays a part too. Luck determines whether you get placed with tanks that are weaker or stronger. If their weaker, it's fun. If they're stronger, it's pure frustration. I've thrown almost $200 at it now, thinking I'll get to the point where my tank would be competitive even against the expensive stuff. Not to be! I just learned that the goal posts have been moved back farther. Newer, more expensive tanks have just been introduced. It boils down to more money. I've almost reached the point where I'm going to give up. Frustration is the key word.

Hot to Not. I used to play this game regularly. It was a great game to escape into. Great graphics and concept. No problem showing up and dropping into battles. A few months ago they updated the format, and now I can rarely, if ever, play. I constantly get a message saying that I was unable to connect to the server. During what appears to be off hours and demand to play is most likely lower, it seems more likely for me to be able to drop in and play. My guess is that I am a free player and tolerate the ads, and their equipment can't handle the demand, so I fall to low man on the totem pole and conveniently get an error message 95% of the time. It's to bad. Great game but not worth the headache and waste of time trying to connect. If you can't handle the demand, just make it a pay to play game and save everyone the headache. Although your advertisers may not be so thrilled by this development. And yes, I've tried logging in through my account on several different networks and always seem to get the same result the last couple of months.

War machine. First of all I’d like to say I’ve been playing this game for over a year. And I would have to agree that the game is expensive. I do think the developers are greedy. It is true that if you want to be competitive you have to pay real money out of your own pocket. It’s not enough to go just premium. You generally only get to play four games before you have to fill up your tank watching the same video over and over again to fill your gas one slot a video. Or wait a whole hour before you can play and have your tank completely full. There is a way to get unlimited energy but that cost too. They finally offered Battle packs that allow you to open them but it takes so long for them to fill you might get 12 hour energy or 24 hour energy but it’s a trick because it’s the same crate just with one more item minute which is 24 hour energy or 12 hour energy.

Both critical and positive Reviews are right. Both the good and bad reviews are correct. This Game is lots of fun, but also very expensive. When you hit about lieutenant level you have to start spending a lot of money otherwise you’re just fodder. I’m at that level now with a very highly ranked level 2 tank that I’ve spent at least $2.5 million game coins and $25 US real dollars upgrading. As soon as I hit lieutenant I started getting placed into battles with level 4 tanks - that’s right, level 2 against level 4. That’s like a Mustang 5.0 vs a Prius in a drag race. No way to compete unless I spend a lot of real money to move up 2 levels or just let them blast me into oblivion. Fortunately for me, I don’t care what my score is so I’ll probably just start putting my tank into play, then watch tv and let them use me as target practice daily then collect the game play money necessary to upgrade. I don’t have any complaint about the developers making money on their intellectual property and I would actually buy more stuff if the prices were any where close to reasonable but as many people have said here and on internet reviews, the prices are wayyyyyy tooooo steep. So I’ll play until I can’t advance then just uninstall it and go to one of the MANY competitive products out there. Have fun at the lower levels but unless you’ve got money to throw away move on once you start to need to spend too much to advance! Cheers!

Major new downfall. I’ve only been playing about two or three weeks now but instantly fell in love with the game, so much so that I’ve probably already spent well over $100-$200. However, within the last few days an issue has arisen that now makes me want to walk away from the game, losing all that money. During game play I will have my finger on the screen moving the turret and for no reason it will fire the tank. It doesn’t matter if there’s tech on the tank or not (I know there’s one tank, I think the Scorpion, that has tech that allows you to shoot while holding). I was carrying a very nice 97% shot accuracy and dominating everyone with 10 kills per game with second place usually being 4-5 kills. Now, my shot accuracy is falling dramatically and it’s harder to get kills because the tank will shoot before I’m anywhere near aimed in and the reload time has me killed. This happens simply when long pressing the screen to rotate the turret, or if I take my thumb off to readjust and then place it back on and hold it on screen, the second the thumb touches the screen to be able to rotate turret, it fires. I won’t even be anywhere near the fire button... This, like I said, jus my recently started. I feel like maybe after an update... If it wasn’t for that very big issue, this game would easily be a 5 star+.

Customer service is a joke. Love the game but there are so many glitches these days that they know about and are unable to fix or just will not fix. Customer service that they say they fixed takes 8+ days to get back to you about any problems and after those 8+ days they past a script in the chat and close the ticket so if you’re not finished talking you have to wait even longer to talk to them again BCBS they are off and your forgotten about for another 8+ days. Get ready to break out that wall out because if you want to have any fun you’re going to be paying after you level up your tank you’ll have no choice but to paid for diamonds BC of the way the game is made. Other tanks will pick up items on the field 2 inches away when you have to physically touch the item so you lose out on coins diamonds and health packs and end up dying sooner because of it not being able to upgrade your tank because of it and not be able to buy any patterns or decals because of it this is a known problem they have been sent many video clips from players and refused to do anything about it. So do yourself a favor just find a different game to play.

Could be much better. I’ll make this quick. To start, controls are frustrating. I find my ding er sliding across my phone in a futile attempt to move faster. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Rotating your turret should have zero effect on your direction of travel, however, whichever way your turret is facing is what forward on the joystick will be. Unfortunately, that’s typically one of the enjoyable aspects of tanks battles, moving one direction while fighting to your side or even behind you. That makes maneuvering a big pita when you are trying to position yourself. I can’t speak to the pay to play aspects, as I have no desire to spend a penny. Sure, I see some tanks killing it and they have the decals/paint jobs to prove they used coins or diamonds to get, but can’t say they definitely spent money. Tbh one round I’m kicking booty, and the next I’m having it handed to me. All I know is that if the controls were more friendly and accurate, it would be more fun either way.

Meh.... The graphics are pretty decent, and the first person shooter aspect is cool, but as other reviewers have noted, unless you’re paying real dollars you don’t have a chance. Without the premium package (i.e. monthly subscription) you cant get the tanks, ammo, supplies, or attribute boosting add-ons that will make you competitive. Something I found annoying was the way you’re assigned to battle groups. I play one match and my low-level tier two tank is up against two top-lever tier four tanks with attack and armor boosting add-ons. You don’t have a chance. Another time I play a match and go 1-4, turn around and play another match 30 seconds later and I’m 7-0. WTH, no consistency. You can almost see the algorithm manipulating you; giving you just enough to come back, keeping it close so as not to totally discourage you, but making it clear that you need to spend $9.99 to get that elusive XXX. If you’re willing to pay real money, by all means play; it’s reasonably fun. Just know the Russian trolls, and Texas basement-dwellers are one step ahead of you every time. If you’re not willing to pay understand ahead of time there are inherent limitations.

Fun at first, but eventually not worth it for me. This game was fun when just starting out. But it’s obvious this game is designed to be pay-to-play in as many ways as possible. You can skip the 10 second respawn if you pay. After a few games (maybe 10-15 minutes of game play) you run out of fuel and have to wait hours to “refill”, or you can pay to play instantly. You can get better ammo if you pay. Better tanks if you pay. Better add-ones that make your tank more armored, faster, shoot quicker, and with a more powerful canon… but only if you pay. I have been playing for a couple weeks and have spent maybe $20. Unless you are willing to pay $5-10 per hour of game play, you will not be competitive. You will end up spending half your game time waiting to respawn after being killed by a single shot from somebody who spent $100 on their tank and at least that much on additional armor, ammo, and other paid upgrades. Unless you want to spend a lot of money, the best way to play this game on the cheap is improbably to create a new account and restart after you have ranked up a couple times.

Expensive. My advice is to not download this game. You can have fun playing for free in the beginning but pretty soon you can’t be competitive without premium and paying for extras on top of that. Upgrading your tank gets very slow and very expensive in coins. People are right that the game is too expensive but what most don’t mention is that you may find yourself feeling compelled to spend a lot of time playing to meet your goals and advance. I found it to be fun but addicting. I joined a clan and enjoyed that part but that’s where I started putting in a lot of time to do well for the clan. I quit several months ago and thought I’d see if things had improved. While the look of the game is nicer, it’s even more expensive. I’m not going to complain about greedy developers as they should charge whatever people are willing to pay. However I was very disappointed with the customer service. For what they charge it should be top notch. So try a different app. This one isn’t worth it unless you have lots of money to burn.

Good game but could get very expensive. Great game if you’re a casual gamer who is content to play for just 10-15 minutes at a time (3-4 matches). It is possible to progress nicely but slowly without spending real money but you gotta be very patient. If you’re willing to stay with tier 1 tanks, you may be able to play decently with just pure skills for a while. Remember, once you get higher tier tanks, you’ll need more diamonds to buy special ammo, thus you will be tempted to spend money for those diamonds and coins. Regular ammo are still free but quite useless in higher tiers. Tip to newbies: stick to the free tank and keep upgrading before getting a new one. Upgrade your new tank before using in battle. NOW: If you like playing for hours with the best tanks and ammo and power ups and customizations be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars. Suggestions for the developer: At least make those coins convertible to diamonds or better yet just make it a single currency. Limit the effect of customizations and improve match-ups (4 fully customized tanks vs regular tanks= plain massacre). Don’t be too greedy, be nice to your paying customers.

Expensive. I love tank games. This is a good tank game. Not great! You will play the same five maps over and over and over again. Unfortunately, this is not a game of skill, tactics, or strategy. The currency in this game is diamonds. If you want to play then you need to buy gas. You will have to buy diamonds or wait. There are many tanks. Some are very expensive. 5500 diamonds could cost as much as 200 USD. Ouch! Each match is three minutes. It will cost you diamonds to respawn quickly. Otherwise, you will have to wait for 10 seconds. Get the idea? The longer you play the game the more it will cost. After all, You’ve been hooked. If you refuse to buy diamonds, power ups, and upgrades then your tank will become canon fodder for those pour souls who decided to pay. If you have VERY deep pockets then play this game. Expect to pay a couple hundred a month. Otherwise, don’t reward this VERY greedy game designer.

Good game: and as *(moresongsplease) says, it can be very expensive.. I've been playing this game for 5+ years; and of all the other similar platforms, this is by far the best of the best. The graphics and choices of "Field Location" to choose from is incredible. As a Marine Combat Vet; I can understand what some of "today's" Controllers of Autonomous Weaponry are learning; and the basic skills whether 'live' or 'remote', must be mastered. 'First & foremost' is 'eyes and hands coordination'; which is formerly known as, "Target Acquisition". In other words; 1. Master Controlling the Tank in every direction possible. 2. Choose options carefully. 3.Know your opponents (this will take the most time). After serving in VietNam 1968 & 1969; with expert ratings in the weapons available, I was not equipped for "Autonomous Weaponry" Even-so; the Basic Skills are, always absolutely needed first!

Game of money not skill. I’ve read a lot of the reviews online and I can relate to a bunch of these I thought I could get XP and get up on the global chart just by playing free but it’s just a game of money and how much money you spend on the game the game always is forcing me to try and go premium but I always ignore it and then whenever I run into people with the best tanks and they’re only level five I don’t believe it I’ve seen a bunch of viruses and cheat reviews were people were getting infinite coins in infinite diamonds I’ve actually found a bunch of videos were people say this is possible and they show you how to do it i’ve read the reviews and I can relate totally this is just a game of money it’s not a game of fun and it is addictive I would give it five stars if there weren’t so many people like level five and having the best tanks and stuff and I got a virus on my phone from this my phone keeps lagging but I am having to delete the game so it won’t Waggy more and my phone worked better after I deleted it so be where all new players this is just a game of money and it will give you viruses 90% of the time

Fix the obvious. Your matching system is amping the worst I’ve seen, and I’ve played online since the possibility existed. It’s wastes my resources. I’m sure you don’t care about that as you assume the children that play will just use Daddy’s card to buy more. Im 64 and disabled so my funds are very limited. I like my gaming to be challenging but evenly so. There is no reason that I, or any other player should repeatedly score 600% more than all the others in a game like this. Pay for play games are everywhere but this is a blatant example of how they ruin the experience for most players. In addition, for those idiots that go into a game and back out because they are being shot at early on, there needs to be some form of “punishment.” As of now they can simply skip around until they find a winning matchUp. I feel less of this would go on if we were forced to stay in a game where placed. I’m not sure how it should work but loss of something for backing out might be the only solution. Not sure if it should be diamonds or tank strength but you will come up with Something.

Frustratingly Expensive. This game is a fun and enjoyable little multiplayer shooter…up until a point. That point is around Lt. rank and you can’t compete in matches unless you shell out some big real bucks to get the better tanks or specialized ammo (via diamonds). When you’re dead in one or two shots because everyone but you has flamethrower tech, it just becomes frustrating. Then in turn, takes you longer to level up and earn the rewards. I even spent a few bucks when I first started out, but anything you spend money on, aside from a tank, is temporary or a consumable. Eventually that tank becomes underwhelming as well, though. Sure there are costs for running the game and their business, but it’s ridiculous to sacrifice the enjoyment of the casual player so the premium members can feel good about dominating in an app. The matchmaking algorithm is terrible about this. Make these premium super players fight each other.

Money grubbing scum. I would give this game less than one star if I could You have zero chance of winning at this game and advancing unless you are willing to spend money on upgrades It doesn’t matter how well you play the game or how much skill you have you cannot win unless you spend money on those upgrades When I started the game I hit multiple tanks with multiple direct hits and all it did was make their health meters go down a little bit with each hit However all they had to do was hit me once and I would be blown to pieces Then of course they would start immediately trying to sell me upgrades to improve the strength of my armor and have more lethal rounds to fire at other tanks So it doesn’t matter how much skill you have it only matters if you have the money to spend on their stupid upgrades and I’m not talking a few dollars I’m talking hundreds is what they want This is low life money grubbing scum tactics I was a tanker in the Army I know how it really is because I did the real thing and this isn’t even close Living on disability income I have a lot of time on my hands but I certainly don’t have money to burn and I am not going to waste it on games created by people who just want to hit the users up for money at every turn I am thankful that there are creators of games that are not greedy and they let you win by how well you play their game instead of trying to bleed 🩸 money out of the users

Good and bad. Easy to learn, best advice to free players is this. Max out your level 1 tank, join a group, when you battle never do solo battles only team battles, save every coin after you max your first tank to buy level 3 tank, save every gem to buy level 5 tank... only buying odd tanks will put you at a disadvantage for a few days each jump but you can make up the kills when you do jump. If you buy every level tank you will have your level 2 tank about maxed when you start fighting against level 3 and 4 tanks, so skip the even whenever possible. Joining a group will help get the extra rewards needed to advance to the next tank... and do the dailies... I’m on tank 9 ... and I have spent $5 so far. And that was to support the game :-). I play it often and felt it deserved that. If the items were cheaper I would probably spend more but right now it’s just not worth it to me. Hope this info helps.

Fun, but…………. This game IS fun, but the leveling up is too slow. That makes the ranking up slower than it should be. I’ve seen & experienced blowhards in this game that have become so detached from reality, that they think they are the kings of the G.I. Joes. It’s only a game you fools, & it took you at least 3 years (probably more) to get where you are (not to mention plenty of $$$$). It took me less than half that time to become one of the top players in “Tanks vs Robots” with very little $ spent. Like this game, it costs (in-game money) to get a good fighting machine in “T. vs R.” but you can make that in-game money quicker than in this game in various battles. I was level 25 in “T. vs R.”, which means I may not have been the strongest in that game, but I was one of the strongest. Like I said, you have to play “War Machines” for what seems like an eternity or spend $$$$ & deplete your nest egg in the bank. You also have the unwanted & unneeded pressures of the higher ups in the game. The best thing to do is stay independent & play the game when YOU want to play.

Buyer beware. One night, i was thirsty so i went downstairs to get a drink. I was looking through the fridge, then i saw the cranberry juice. I (used to) generally like cranberry juice so i took it out and set it on the counter. My cat was really hyper at the time so he ran into the kitchen, jumped on the counter, and continued to run around. I tried to grab him, but i accidentally knocked the cranberry juice over and it spilled all over the white tile flooring. Then my cat ran over to get a drink. i didn't feel like cleaning it up that night so i just went to bed. And that was my worst mistake. As soon as i woke up, my dad burst and started beating me with the belt. Apparently my mom had slipped on the juice giving her a concussion. And apparently my cat had a serious had a serious allergy to cranberries so he died from the juice. And later that day the cranberry juice came to my hospital room and beat me up again for dropping it on the floor. That's why i choose apple juice over cranberry juice at the orphanage.

Solid. this is a solid fun game that you can play for free if you invest the time to build your tanks at the slower pace. Also, you really should be realistic and know that you're not going to be placing in the top ranks throughout the world if you were not spending money. I don't have that expectation, I sign on to battle with a good group of people and have fun. I've never spent a dime yet. I've racked up hundreds of kills during matches. Someone mentioned time restrictions. I probably have a year of free hours of play again not having spent money just checking in, playing occasionally and being patient. i've experienced glitches here and there and yes they're frustrating but they usually don't last long and probably are tied to my Internet or atmospheric conditions. Perhaps it's growing pains for the game itself but worth the frustration and like I said it doesn't last long. Probably worth mentioning this is the free only game I haven't deleted

You can do better then this. I have played this game useing different email address for a long time already your upgrades come very slow and there is so much you can do to improve and make it a better platform IE how come if you earn a crate and the slots are full you just are out of luck you spend how much money and you can keep what you played for that’s totally unfair and you should be able to unlock more then one at a time also the coins are only for upgrades on your tanks why can’t you buy shells or something else with them you charge alott of money for diamonds they should alott cheaper you would have more players also the same courses you have not made any new ones how come these are burned out already same thing and how many times I get hotshot and there is not tanks around all the time and also how come when it first starts your gun will shoot by itself waisting rounds that you have paid for but the crates are a big one loosing crates that you fought for because the slot is full that is highway Robert come on fix some of this stuff and becoming a premium player is worthless what do you get for it a few more coins that you can upgrade your tank come on guys think about this stuff sorry for being so straightforward but somebody has to ring it to you have a nice day

From a long time player. I have been playing g war machines for 4 years now, and I have to say this game is amazing. The gameplay is addicting and there are many tanks/tech. My only 2 complaints about this game is that there is no way to save your account (that I know of) so I ended up restarting the game twice, which became very irritating the point where I did not feel like it was worth restoring my progress again. My second complaint is the pay 2 win part. I would always have the panzer tank with it fully upgraded and there would be so many people who payed for better tanks that it would be nearly impossible for me to win any matches, as a person who did not pay for better things. I hope your development team works on making the game more friendly for all players. If these changes were applied, I would most likely return to the game and maybe spend some money on it.

Great app but with a catch. So beautiful and well maintained app great to have , still under the entertainment where it should be classified as a gambling app , this app meant to get you addicted to buy and buy and buy diamonds golds creates etc the catch is when you get to certain levels you are traded more opponents with stronger same tanks but customized , so now you have to buy more gold , diamond and and more money you have to spend . So another catch almost 99% of your progress based on buying from the app , not an entertaining app at all pure pay to play like slot machines and money making for the developer good for then but not meant for 18 years even 21 years and younger very addictive well created to get you hooked even the structures of clans and server made for the same reason for spending more money etc. Overpriced , over rated , not meant for entertainment but it is a gambling app with no parental guidance , lot of bad people using the chat very sick people and the app is not perfect or close to be a good app at all should not be classified as a top free game that nonsense this is a pay and pay to play app.

End all subscription based pay systems NOW!. First of all I like the game. That said- this and many games are too expensive period. The subscription system needs to go. It boggles the mind that Apple and developers are unable to see that they have painted themselves into a box with these subscriptions. There are only so many subscriptions a person is willing to take on before they have to start culling apps from their collection and with everything being subscription based it’s a self defeating system. Besides that-$19 per month are you kidding me? To buy an entire game and own it outright on PS4 or XBox is only 2 or 3 months worth and that is with superior graphics , controllers and the option to play 2player with a friend. How on earth is it worth $240 per year to play this. We used to be able to buy or upgrade to a full version of an app on the iOS store for max $9.99 flat fee...What justification is there to double that and charge it per month? Ridiculous.

What Do You Get For The Money?. Let me start by saying this game is fun. Let me finish by saying that this game is frustrating. We all know what we consider fun. Let me tell you what I consider frustrating. 1) The developers of this game don’t respond to frequently occurring issues like players not being able to connect into the game. Their response? It must be your internet. BS. We have chat rooms in which our clans chat...all have the same problem...can’t connect into the game. Why is this an issue? Because despite the claim that this is a free game...it most certainly is not. We purchase items that have limited time use. When servers are down the clock continues and our purchase is wasted. This happens FREQUENTLY. 2) Glitches within the game...twitchy aim, shots missing despite point range, spawn within a building, and many more. 3) Response to complaints go unanswered for weeks and sometimes never. I myself have 2 unanswered complaints that are close to a month old. I could go on and on but it wouldn’t matter. What matters is that the developers of this game have no respect for the paying customers. I have one simple expectation...I should get what I pay for. Here, sadly, I don’t.

War Machines: For the Grind. As a five year World of Tanks veteran and one year Armored Warfare player, I decided to give War Machines a shake of the stick after seeing it in ads. First things first, if you’re a fan of either of the games I mentioned above, War Machines is either going to make you cry or jump for joy. War Machines is more of a shooter than a simulator, there are no damaging tracks or ammo rack explosions or anything like that although tanks do take more damage when hit on the sides or rear. All in all, War Machines suffers most from the grind heavy gameplay. Advancing up the tears without shelling out real money is not impossible, but it will take a long time. For example, you will probably earn around 4000 gold per game. A tier two tank costs 200,000 gold and that’s not even factoring in upgrades which you will need. While the gameplay is fast and fun, playing the M24 Chaffee fifty times in a row is a bit boring. One last thing, If you like historical accuracy, stay far away from this game. Historical accuracy is not even attempted so if that makes your eyes bleed, run away!

Fun, but!. This is a fun multiplayer game pitting famous armor weapons against each other in free for all locations, added are the ability to create clans that allow for team action and greater achievement of goals. Hence only 3 stars. The BUT, you better have a deep purse cause once you are drawn in everything costs the jewels to improve your equipment. You earn coin for all battle wins and the coin can be used to improve your tank, but if your impatient you have to use jewels to speed the process. You have to use jewels to reconstitute your tank once you are killed. There is the occasional free jewel, but definitely not in sufficient enough quantity to make it effectual. There is no doubt that incredible resource is required to run this platform, but you better have a deep pocket or you don’t care about your financial resources to continue playing for any length of time. I’m down to 120 jewels, once those are gone I’m gone. Enjoy at much as you can afford.

Super Gaming. I write this with reservation. Which means I’m torn in two directions. Play the game or not. It can be expensive. But the enjoyment is second to none. We cannot get a stronger, faster or more capable tank unless we have a subscription. We can move up slowly without being part of a clan, but the benefits make it worth $19 per month. The game allows everyone to continue upgrading and moving up in rank and tanks. However you won’t ya e the kind of battling power you need to crush your opponents unless you buy extras. Decals, patterns, ammo, and crates which all enable you to make that tank a super hero. The problem lies in that without all the extras it can take getting shot a million times over and over while scooping up stars and diamonds on the battle field. A long hard battle. I suspect those with extra money or funds to buy the extras needed, do the best at upgrading the fastest, creating a top tier fully capable destroyer tank. But even with all the money spending the tanks will not be completely invincible. You will get shot at and eventually picked off during the game by others who are sniping shots at you as you roll along crushing your enemy. I gave it 5 stars as a premium member and do recommend you at least give it a try. One awesome game that takes your breath away and engulfs you with nervous encounters. Time after time. Rank1

Fun but frustrating. This game is highly addictive. It is fairly realistic and there is a lot to do to keep you busy. You can move the tank easily and different tanks handle differently. It takes a lot of screen time to upgrade your tank and there are often glitches that impede your progress. One thing that is very annoying is that after you blow up several tanks, a glitch can knock you out of the game. When this happens you lose your kills, lose your fuel, and lose any special ammo or power ups that had been deployed. Also, you must SAVE your progress or you could get kicked back to square one. There are coin and stars to pick up in the battlefield-AVOID THE STARS (they only increase your level which makes it HARDER to blow up opponents. If you ask for help...good luck getting any! My last peeve is that for the last three days I have not been able to get into a battle... game glitches me out every time before I can get a kill... and of course I lose fuel to boot! OOTHER THAN ALL THAT, it’s lots of fun. I likely will dump it.

VIRUS!! STOP DO NOT DOWNLOAD GAME. VIRUS. There is a boycott, of this game, going on all over the world due to what seems to be a VIRUS. I have been playing this game for a year and a half. Last week ALL players around the world experienced the following: While you were playing a game (in a battle) and collecting diamonds, coins, and kills; the WM APP would close. When you leave a battle YOU LOSE EVERYTHING. Now if you BOUGHT $$$; Diamonds, Coins, Fuel, Ammo, etc, you lost it because the WM APP Closed. WM developers launched an update 3 days ago. Did it work??? Hell No. WM customer service asked us to let them know if we are experiencing the same problem. I have sent 6 instances over a 2 day period, time stamped to WM customer service; stating “SAME PROBLEM, NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED!!!” As of this post I have had NO RESPONSE from WM customer service. There are people who have spent hundreds and thousands of $ on this game. That is why there is a boycott by thousands of players. You would think WM developers could fix the problem. Those of us that were playing the game believe there is a VIRUS that WM developers can’t fix. Don’t waste your $$$$.

Waste of money and time. This game charges money for everything! Anything you can use in a tank they are charging for from gas to 3 diffent types of ammo. So if you want to actually kill another tank you better have that upgraded ammo. If that’s not bad enough you can’t just buy the gas that you need to play the game ! You have to buy a crate with a chance that gas will be in there. If your like me , you don’t mind spending the money to play longer if it’s fair. Well unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars you don’t stand a chance. I spent more than I thought I should have just to to watch one tank get 27 kills and the 7 of us got no more than 4. I wrote and showed them the scores and they replied it was a fair match and everyone had the same tier tanks. The guy had weapons I could not get . I don’t think that is fair match . Anyway save your 100 or so dollars and find another game that will be both fair and worth your time and money . I would have gave it no stars .. don’t bother trying ti talk to customer support. It’s not existent.

Very expensive and worsening game problems. War Machines is a company who does not listen to their customers. It is most certainly is not “free”. To compete you WILL spend money - a lot of it. Thousands. Meanwhile War Machine has server and software problems that seem to keep getting worse and are never fixed. When the company’s issues costs you - the player- real money... it is gone. You can complain but they never reimburse. Always excuses that it is “your WIFI” etc (although it happens across the country and internationally at the same time). In addition the developers deny and obfuscates its responsibility to its players by allowing cheats, game hacks, etc which ruin the game for honest players. The cheats spend a lot of money so they allow it. True customer support is near non-existent. And if you complain on their Facebook site you will be banished!! There are much better and much cheaper games with run by reputable companies. Save yourself a lot of money and frustration. Don’t spend your money on this game!!!

Non-Existent Customer Support-Worst I’ve ever experienced. The game is great when it works. Hands down the best tank game out there.....until you experience problems and you get shortchanged or cheated. Don’t spend any money here. They will take it keep it. I’ve played tons of games over the years and dealt with numerous customer support agencies, and I can say beyond any shadow of doubt that this game has no customer support of any kind. You can never get any resolution, it just keeps looping you through the same questions again and again. If your complaint does fit into their suggested complaints they suggest you choose only one of their choices-all of which are rosy and sweet. They begin to let you think they’re going to listen to you, they take your name and email and just when you think you’re being respected and given support they drop you back into their endless loops of impossible questions. I seriously doubt if this game has any customer support at all. I would have given zero stars if I could have. What total waste of money. This company will rob you blind if you don’t watch them closely. And that doesn’t matter anyway, because when you attempt to correct it-you are thrown into their useless customer support robotic loops. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME-THEY ARE CROOKS!

Greedy developers. This game is really fun but WAY too expensive to stay competitive. I worked my way up to the top level tank when suddenly they released an update with a whole new tier of tanks. You have to play yourself into position to buy a new tank and when I did I found out that the tank would cost approximately $200 USD. Ridiculous. This is on top of a premium subscription. I have a C1 Ariete which is a top of the line tier 5 tank which used to be the top. I cancelled my premium subscription and now just use their bandwidth to play. This developer will never get another penny from me but I am going to use as much bandwidth as I can. Too bad because this is a fun game. They also rip you off with Sniper 3D, another fun game to play that costs way too much. I bought a year premium subscription about 6 months ago and now they have “premium plus.” RU serious? You will never get one red, or green, or purple cent from me ever again and I hope this review helps dissuade others from wasting their hard earned money with such greedy developers.

Fun and Free...To A Point. Downloaded the app and was immediately addicted. It’s a ton of fun and you level up pretty fast for awhile. After having the app for several weeks, I just uninstalled it. Reason being that once you get up to first lieutenant or so, you have (read HAVE) to start spending real money to stay competitive. I had something like two million of the (mainly worthless) game coins and a new Tier 3 tank that I kept upgrading and upgrading and I was regularly getting smoked in team death match battles. I’d gone from 4 or 5 kills a match to 0 to 2 kills per match. Go from dying once or twice to 5-7 times—I was fighting tanks two or three tiers above mine or had spent God knows how much on upgrades. I know why...because the people who were playing the game were spending real money on fake tanks. Which is fine...I got as far as you can go for free and still have the game be mildly enjoyable and then I wasn’t going to throw away real money. The tanks you get for ‘free’ or for the ‘coins’ you get in the game are, in my opinion, the weakest in the Tier. To get decent tanks, ammo and enough fuel to level up and fight real wars, you have to spend diamonds; also earned in the game but at a pittance. If you want enough to be a player you have to (you guessed it) spend money. So play it until you get frustrated with basically being a live training dummy for those who spend money and then go download one of the many competitors.

Total rip off. DO NOT SPEND A CENT ON THIS CHEATING GAME! They allow hackers to run the game. It steals your money if they are allowed to cheating using things such as endless shields as they do. These guys are full on thieves. This is the biggest scam rip off on here. They want 7.99 for pay to play membership per week, ya 7.99 a week. Or you can play for free always lose never get anywhere. Once I got past the early stages they group you with way higher levels to get you to fork out more money to advance your tank. It’s non stop paying money to play. They charge for skins by the hour. They want 4.99 to change your name. You lose 30 seconds per match unless you pay to respawn. The game cheats, doesn’t give you kills you basically paid to get, filled with glitches where tanks just disappear at the beginning of every match. These developers are the greediest I’ve ever seen. There are way better tank games for free. Avoid this scam like COVID 19. Had to add the fact that I don’t even get full points for kills such as first kill. The game is the worst crap on here. Developers are the greediest bunch of scum I’ve ever seen. The developers don’t bother fixing glitches while they rake in huge piles of cash. They do nothing about obvious hacking cheaters and no way to report them. These are the worst people ever to create a game. They should be fined

This is a good review, please read this before downloading this game. When I was young, this game is so much fun. But now it is not. The game is fun for beginners but it isn’t what the developers say it would be, the game has no armor, fun maps, and makes no sense. It’s all about hp, that’s it, it is fun a little, but I really recommend World if tanks blitz, that game is so much easier and more fun to play. But if you are like 10 years old and lower, I think this is the right tank game for you, it’s easy to play but not much since for me, I’m only 15 years old and I think this game is not good for me. But if you are 15 I really recommend world of tanks blitz, it has real tanks that has been made, and some fake ones as well, there’s hp as well, with very fun modes. Or if you don’t like hp (hit points) you can try War Thunder Mobile, now that game does not have hp but it has crews. If all your crew are dead then you are dead. It’s really realistic. But yea this game is okay for younger people but if you are older than I would not recommend this game. One step at a time. Dear developers, I have deep concerns for a glitch in the game that I’m dealing with and have been for the past two years at first I thought it wasn’t that much of a concern, but I will describe what the glitch is While playing in game on the Maps, for instance, you get a choice of Battle maps to play on. For a good while the tank moves good forwards backwards left right like it normally should when I want it to move those directions. As the game goes on, i’ve experienced this glitch a lot when I want to move the tank forward to collect a battlefield reward it either will move backwards once I wanted to move forwards or sideways when I wanted to move back or left while I want to move right and vice versa this create A situation where I can barely move at all or I can’t collect the rewards on the battlefield. In hindsight, it leaves me at a disadvantage. I would like the glitch to be fixed because it’s making it difficult for me to move and I end up getting shot out before I can even do anything about it. as for me, I am getting the short end of the stick for this glitch

Worst dark patterns I’ve ever seen.. The gameplay is actually quite fun, but I cannot give this game anything more than one star for one reason alone: it will not stop begging me to spend money. Why can’t a fun game be made anymore without having to beg its users to spend their hard-earned money on in-game currency? Here’s a message to the developers: I would spend money on this game if there were no micro-transactions. Seriously. Most people would. Don’t make people wait to upgrade their tank parts if they can afford to upgrade them. Don’t make fuel run out and force you to spend diamonds to even PLAY the game. Don’t force people to spend money to even stand a chance in the higher levels. Stop with the scummy dark patterns. I do not want to be constantly pestered to buy premium or of “special offers” or “one-time offers.” This game represents everything that’s wrong with the mobile gaming market. I’ve never played a game before that tries so hard to get you to spend money. Evidently it’s working, but it’s an extremely scummy practice. Charge the user to install the game in the first place, then make it an actual good experience to play.

Fun in the beginning but it’s very frustrating.. Like I said the game is very fun in the beginning although the first tier or 2 is very slow. Then it gets better. BUT once you get past a certain ranking they group you in with all the big boys and you don’t have a fighting chance. UNLESS you pull out that wallet and become a pay to win player. And let’s not talk about the sales ads and gimmicks they bombard you with to try to get you to pay more money on top of the premium if you are a premium player. Do you yourself a favor and stay away the fun turns to frustration very quickly. And that free week of premium they give you rest a sure as soon as you sign up for that free week they’re going to bill your iTunes for the following week or your Google play or your credit card. Immediately. Unlike other side customer service is garbage. All the glitches that happen you get kicked off the game they tell you at your Wi-Fi. Kind of funny because I have a gigabyte fiber optic service. And you got a love the company name fun games for free. That fun free time is limited.

Too rapid growth?. I started playing this game in early Feb. 2020. It is very addictive. If you want to keep winning it will coax you into spending money, and more money. Okay, that’s my decision at the end of the day so I’m okay with it, but their prices are high. The issues with the game seem to be continuous. People losing their accounts, endless connectivity issues due to server capacity, updates that may fix one problem but cause multiple others, release of updates in the middle of wars causing mass disruption, and the list goes on. And Customer Service is severely lacking. Many issues arise over the weekend and there is no customer support. This game is fun to play. It continues to attract thousands of users. Unfortunately the company does not seem to have the resources in place to support the growth. That seems to include server capacity, connectivity to the servers, customer service staff, beta testing capability, just to name a few. There seems to be zero quality control on their updates. And management seems not to care.

Only game that punish u for spending and playing. It is an addictive game. Very expensive one. Very nice graphic and terrific gameplay. Cudos Those are the fun things for this game. But the customer support is beyond bad. Think Comcast in the worse of days. I have spent 2+ years and 1000s dollars to develop a tank. Then I got a ban for account sharing, which I did not nor ever done. And there no appeal process (I appeal got standard response they review and find it is a multi drive, which it was not, if they care to check all connections were from my own house and local network). There are no way to file a bug report (obviously it was a bug) there no way to contact any customer support specialist and explain the issue. Also, starting a ticket that is not closed by their employees will result in permanent impossibility to open another ticket on the same device. Worse off - the unknown and uncertainty that even if u do everything correct you get penalized and they can ban you multi year multi thousands of dollars effort in a blink of an eye. Be warned.

Deceptive images. The desert and naval images used to advertise the latest update are not anywhere in the game. You are basically playing two minute rounds against whoever else is online. But the worst thing about the new update is that it does not accurately record your kills which keeps you from advancing and it negates the weeks of grinding it took to level up to earn a level four tank…which is in itself only the first step to grinding to level that up…by GIVING AWAY LEVEL FIVE FULLY LOADED TANKS for $50 in the store. Some newbie who’s not done anything can decimate your tank and your ability to get any points that round with a single purchase. I spent more than that to get here just with small items, because they structure it to make you spend, now they hand out a huge advanced tank for a fraction of what it cost anyone else to get there? It’s like they want people to leave the game. Your sharks are leaving and your grinders will leave along with the newbies when they get tired of playing against all killer tanks. Way to destroy a decent game for anyone that might want to play and was already paying your salaries.

Is there even a support team?. Love the game play, but been waiting to hear back about being double billed for subscription for nearly two months ago without hearing back from an actual person from the support team, just a promise from a bot that they will get to it soon. Also all the tanks look like Chaffees on the mobile version, even after the update. Lots of people spending big but obviously not making it back into the game.

Dont buy diamonds Coins impossible to get. Unless you play every day all day they demote you and for tier 4 tank it costs at the moment for me 800,000 for a lvl 21 upgrade there are 30 lvls now I’ve been demoted that much i only get 4,000 coins per battle now thats about 200 matches for each upgrade do you know how long that will take i can only imagine what a lvl 5 tank will cost pfffft dont waste your time its impossible JUST REMEMBER THIS YOU CAN BUY THERE EXPENSIVE DIAMONDS AND COINS BUT IT WILL COST YOU IF YOU BUY DIAMONDS AND PLAY FOR COINS YOU HAVE TO PLAY ALL DAY EVERY DAY OR ITS A WASTE OF MONEY

It’s not my I pad or iPhone I play other war games with just as much graphics as war machine and has never crashed once but with war machine I am crashing a least once in every session I’ve tried everything you suggest in your help section to no avail like I said other war games don’t have any problems with running on iPad or iphone

Superb format and easy to play. This is an amazing, easy to play game that I feel provides the best overall player experience. Of course there are some glitches here and there, and its frustrating that there seems to be no ability to contact the developer for ideas and feedback but its addictive and the global players community are fantastic, helpful & friendly. Give it a try.

Tier 6 tank upgrades. Have been playing this game for over 12 months and recently purchased a tier 6 tank. I play this game everyday and get well over 1500 kills per week but it’s impossible to fully upgrade the tier 6 due to the cost per upgrade by collecting coins during the game. This needs to be sorted out. I have emailed the game developers numerous times about other glaring issues such as game stability, ghost tanks, game crashing, losing fuel, random maps, poor player matching etc etc etc etc etc etc but it’s clear they don’t care and are not listening despite the hundreds of dollars I and many players like me have already spent on this game. Very poor Warmachines!!

Halloween upgrades? Actually it was 4days ago!. With this Halloween version, everything just got worse. Clan mate can’t help each other with upgrade or open a chest. Feels like a gonna waste one extra year to get to the point I want to be. Don’t mention all the power of tanks have been adjusted, which benefit who pays money to play. Also, there is a lot of buggies. I shot someone 3 times in a short range are causing no damage what so ever! Come on! Fix the bugs and make it a fair game.

Gaming Thieves. The one star rating says it all this game is designed to get your interest up to tier 3 then get ready to open your wallet to stay competitive after that. The expense is exorbitant and purchase fees are calculated on probability wether you will buy or not on past history records. Glitches and game problems exist and the developers will not take responsibility for these issues rather blame your internet connection. Give it a miss if you want to keep your house from being repossessed.

Keeps crashing. I love this game but when it is loading to go to battle, the game unfortunately crashes. I have deleted the up and reloaded but still crashes.

Gameplay. The gameplay is poorly affected by poor servers - terrible lagging and difficulty with targeting/shooting. Respawning flawed by being placed right in front of enemies or even facing backwards. Battles are often dominated by one or two tanks which get 80-85% of total kills. This leaves other players feeling like cheap targets of those who a willing or able to pour money into the game. Massive downer on user experience.

Starts well and then .... A game that’s fair and competitive in the early levels. Match ups are balanced. Then in higher levels of tanks they become unbalanced. The auto match system for the battles is out of balance favouring those paying to customise and advance. Be prepared for odd glitches in the maps, being in battles where the opposition tanks disappear, a clan chat system that doesn’t send notifications.

The infidel,. Great game, unfortunately their are people who pay to play and those who do not, why not have a separate game for the money players as the non money players are no match to these people and it ruins the game, why should they have the audacity to demand that you change the way the game is just because they put money in to play, separate the 2 groups and let the money players play against each other, and let the non money players play against each other, it’s no contest and they think they are great players but in fact it’s not an even playing field, let’s see how good they are against other money players, give them their own league to play in, it’s just like a bully pushing someone weaker around, please consider this, you will lose nothing, they will still throw their money into the game and you will still get our data usage, no one loses. Thank you.

Expensive rubbish but wait there is more.. The game is slow and expensive although I have not spent a cent on it and will never. These apps and the developers are some of the most greedy people I have ever seen. Do not be fooled into spending money. To add more to this rubbish, you can’t even log on to play as the developer can’t connect you. All the other sites work but not this one. Too many and you are flat out getting a go. No problem with my connection.

Fun to play - try to not level for fun gameplay. The most fun way to play is to stay in the Tier 1 tank - upgrade it as much as possible but never go to Tier 2. Ammo costs more diamonds if you own higher tier tanks. If you want better tanks you need to invest $ to be competitive. Don’t go premium, you still run outta fuel and can’t play anyway.

Tier 6 tanks.. Hello, My friends and I represent the group of most active and highest spenders in this game. We write to you to alert the fact that the recent game update present new Tier 6 tanks that require on average in excess of 5 billion coins to upgrade. We find this to be extremely overly excessive, and we estimate 4 to 5 years of playing time to collect enough coins to complete our new tanks. The alternative is to spend an outrageous amount to purchase coins, totalling over USD50,000 to upgrade a tank. None of us will ever spend such a large sum of money just to purchase coins. Please rectify the upgrade requirements as soon as possible. Many players have already used up all their hard-earned coins for upgrades with little effect. These should all be reverted and reimbursed for upgrades at a much lower requirement. You need to rectify this soon. If it takes so long to upgrade, many of us will loose interest in your game and stop playing and making in-game purchases. We are encouraging everyone in the game to rate the game 1 star in their respective play store. We will likewise encourage them to raise this review when we feel our grievances have been addressed. This message will be spread in our commanders chat that includes representatives of the top clans, within clan chat, on facebook and other social media. Thanks for your attention.

Laggy, glitches?. Good game but can be laggy and has glitches. Can be improved with more dynamic tank selection at any level that allows the player to select a tank that is more manoeuvrable, stronger defence, better attack etc. rather than just upgrading to ‘better’

Money hungry. What started as a fun game soon turned into a money pit to even be able to compete. You’re pitted against much stronger tanks so you either get annihilated or you spend money on armour and fire power. Game glitches, kicks you out but you still lose fuel leaving you with 2hr waits or you buy coins to refuel. Game has amazing graphics and so much potential if they would only listen!! Poor customer service and so many cheaters that’s it’s impossible to rank high in any tournaments.

Monetised To The Extreme. This was a fantastic game but it has lost its way, read the War Machine Facebook page before downloading the app. Business is business but greed has a fine line. D- support system and bad behaviour/cheating is condoned. You can’t be successful unless you spend and a lot, every update brings more and more bugs detracting from the player experience and the company simply doesn’t care, best of luck but the mass exodus of current players and long term players at that tells you everything you need to know.

Complete false advertising and lacking game mechanics. What a joke of a game. The game is nothing like it is shown in the pictures even with graphics set to the highest quality. Even when you finish the training exercises, just having a look at the random tank tier system and getting stupid subscription pop up every 10 seconds made me delete the game for good. The game doesn’t have an armour system nor an armour angling system like in most tank games, simply hitting an enemy anywhere will pen and cause damage. You cannot track enemies by shooting at the track wheel and when enemies die (health reaches 0) they blow up like in the old GTA games like San Andreas which is very unrealistic. Do NOT download this joke of a game, a much better one that’s available and actually good is World of Tanks Blitz.

Tank. I get that there are a few people not happy with the way this game progresses and the subsequent cost etc. To be honest, like all games I download, I will not spend any money on it for the sake of progress. So, with that said, I do enjoy playing this game quite a lot. What I don’t like is the fact the so called upgrade tanks are historically not better than the initial lower tier tanks. For example, the rank of Panther being lower than many allied tanks contemporary with it. Otherwise, fun to play.

Develop greed has ruined this game. Game is highly addictive and deliberately made easy when you start. Before long you’ll end up pouring $100s dollars into the game just to remain competitive. Most recent update has halved the numbers of free diamonds available to force purchase or running without custom upgrades against. Offers made during game vary from user to user based on your likelihood to pay.

Every day I read more and more people leaving this game to play MASSIVE WARFARE ALLIANCE and below states why This game has only one aim and that is to make money, don't download this game is all about money and if you don't pay a lot if money you will be disappointed. I have spent over $500 us and despite having the best tank unless I spend $15 per 2-3 days on pattern and decal I get killed easily. You have to be prepared to spend spend spend if u want to play this game and enjoy it. Developers are incompetent at best and i regret ever downloading this game.

Couldn’t be more upset. Purchased a $168 package and started playing tier 2 challenge, game 8 out of 8 and thought I finally could get the last win to complete the challenge with 1 defeat chance left. Last 10 second of the game I was second on the leaderboard and I thought I will definitely get the win then BOOM the game disconnected and the game finished and I could reconnect after multiple attempts so I was forced to quit. When I got back to the tier 2 challenge screen it said I lost and now I have to start again because it disconnected. Great!

Pretty good game. Good battles and easy to play. Very light and easy to play. Can progress at your own pace and doesn’t require spending a lot of money if you don’t mind taking you time to grow and build up your tank/skills. Highly recommend

Beware ye all who enter here...!!!. The greed, arrogance, contempt & incompetence of the developers of this game know no bounds. The lack of customer support, total lack of respect for paying subscribers, terrible technical support and constant updates & “fixes” are purely designed to drive more revenue for the game designers than to offer its paying customers an experience that is fit for purpose and in line with the vast amounts being spent by premium players globally. This game today is far from the game experience it was about a year ago or more. Universally players are disillusioned and many are canceling subscriptions and in-game spends. Boycott this game or at least refuse to spend anything on it until they roll back the recent changes & show a duty of care to their customers with a proper response.

Pay to play game. This game has very good mechanics and play style but you have to pay for in-game currency to buy the tanks as it is physically impossible to collect the correct amount for the tanks. For example I’ve only been playing for a week and I’ve unlocked tier 3 tanks (which is extremely low for the game’s standards). And to think I was going to be able to afford the higher tier tanks, I was severely wrong. I can’t even afford the lowest tanks. Everything else in the game is extremely well made it’s just the fact that the tanks are overpriced and need to be purchased using money to buy in-game currency. If the devs of this game could decrease the price of the tanks to what is achievable through playing the game for free I would highly appreciate it as would a great portion of the community for example the younger gamers that do not have money to buy those expensive tanks. Worst update causing the game to crash. Since the update that occurred a day ago I haven’t been able to start any games. As the selected game commences it is causing the game to crash every time. The abysmal issue is that every time I am having fuel and other supplies deducted from my total. Developers, if you are going to do an update, make sure it works before you release it. Now then how am I going to get a refund for the fuel and other supplies that have been deducted without getting into the game????? Since writing this update the same issue is continuing. Whenever The Hills scenario commences the game is locked. I can’t get in and yet fuel is deducted. Too many times in the game ghost tanks suddenly appear, blast at my tank then suddenly disappear. This is occurring in all games now. Developers you really need to do something about all the bugs in this game.

Nah, be prepared to pay if you want fair competition.. I’ve been playing this game for a while. I don’t purchase anything in the game, so I don’t expect any special favours. But it has gotten to the point where I am walking away from the game and finding something better to do with my time and I encourage anyone considering joining this game, to do the same. I would expect the game would throw me into competitions against other players about my level of rank and equipment. It is completely disheartening to again and again go up against impregnable modern tanks where I can fire at them multiple times and not even peel their paint, then with one shot, I am destroyed. Too many games I am ending up being killed 5 or 6 times with not one kill to my name. It’s probably designed that way to force me to buy modern tanks myself but guess what? You guys can go find some other patsy to be road kill for your paid-up players. I’m out!

Games currency does not come easily. It’s hard to earn in game coins quickly unless you playing 24/7, therefore good luck getting a good tank. I have been playing for about a month and are on level 33 and are stuck with a tier 2 tank. I’m 1/5 of the way to afford in a tier 2 tank. The only way I can see making progress is by coughing up $150au for a decent tank!!!!

Brilliant. Don't worry about all the reviews telling you that you have to spend lots of money. I've been enjoying this game for nearly 2 months now and haven't spent a cent. I've watched plenty of advertising videos which I'm sure have generated a decent income for the developers but Wa hat I'm trying to say is you can have a blast playing this game without having to have deep pockets. Download and enjoy!!

Too expensive. The game is great. Very exiting to play! But it’s just too expensive to constantly purchase diamonds so to buy ammunition. I also play the game “world of tanks” Which has a much better graphics and one doesn’t get charged there for the ammunition. If one wants to upgrade for higher tiers then you have to earn your money with battles or pay real cash to speed up your purchase. Otherwise it’s just full of fun and battles without these expensive diamond purchase.

The best game idea but no support at all!!!.....people don’t waste your money trying to upgrade as there is no support at all and the contact centre will always give you excuses about how your internet service is too slow (no matter if you are with the fastest ..it doesn’t matter how much money the user spends still the app has designed to ask for more (the trap)!...the support team team is very supportive and experts in doing nothing except reply on your emails! Apple store ( for this game ) should look closer towards the quality of the apps before they put them on as often the apps fails and look really bad for Apple too!!!!....this is only if they care!

Disappointed,Super Buggie!. Really love this game, love the clan I’m in, love the graphics,the game play. BUT like most games they are in it for the money! What a pity they don’t put some of the incredible amount of money they are making back into better programmers so the game isn’t the buggiest game around and into fairer game play. Ghost tanks that shoot you then disappear when you respond. Updates that are worse than the ones being replaced for bugs. Then the most frustrating thing of all the seeding of play to be dropped into scenarios with players that are 4 levels higher constantly. The seeding should be on the level of tank you are using not the commander levels. Yes within reason of course but to be in a match where the top players have 16 or 18. Kills and no one else has any is pointless. Let’s face it if you can buy your way to the top levels all they really care about is the money as opposed to the long term enjoyment of everyone

Not worth the money. Potentially a good game but spoilt by the cost of playing. If you wand to succeed you have to pay the weekly subscription fee and by “diamonds” at a highly inflated cost. All adds up to being very expensive. Once in the game, the matching up of tanks is uneven so it forces you to spend more in an attempt to upgrade your tank. Players have found that the authors are unresponsive to concerns raised by players. In summary, frustrating and not worth the money.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!. I agree with the last person. I have spent way too much money for little or no customer service. They do not compensate you for the data that they loose nor can they get their updates to work correctly. Before the last update it worked well, since the developers wanted to make things pretty for Xmas, they go and screw up the whole game. If they cannot develop, they are in the wrong business.

Money Hungry Game. It is clear that this game is resolved on generating as much revenue as possible, it is cleverly written to have your tanks loose, it is also clever written so that any ammunition you buy becomes useless. One minute you have a pretty tough tank, the next your getting slaughtered all while being targeted to spend more money to upgrade a tank that has tanked you ages and money to upgrade.

Tanks for coming. Good fun but rewards are small and takes a long time to upgrade after the first couple of levels if you don’t want to spend money. Still I keep playing and loving the live battles with people from all over the world.

Gambling Psychology 101. This game is programmed to exploit people susceptible to gambling. It relies on the “almost winning” concept used by poker machines and other games geared to the “house”. Pay money for diamonds, win for a bit. As the diamonds dwindle, you will be pitched against more impossible odds. Second to last available energy and you will be pitched (remarkably) against players of similar rank showing you “huh...maybe I can win”. Last round, you’ll get destroyed easily again setting you up to be more convinced to keep playing and use real money to buy more diamonds because you were “so close” only one game before. Hey, I guess the other paying gamblers need someone to win against, because if you don’t pay, you become feel-good target practice for those spending what I can only assume is an extortionate amount of real world money. The almost 5 star rating for this game? Easy. When it was new, the developers offered additional in-game rewards for 5 star ratings. Parents, don’t even think about downloading this for your kids. Adults, beware.

To many tossers. Too many wankers that pay lots to upgrade their tanks to ensure they win every game. How about you play on a level field with those of similar capabilities rather than spending lots of dollars to feed your egos!

Good game a few problems better than most war games. This game is good the first problem is Nothing this is a great game so far a couple ads whatever a couple not even every round no one cares it’s the real game this is a really good game and no one would hate it unless they are stupid really a good game I thought about problems when there are none just to be safe I’m doing a 4 out of 5 good game but you actually update it every day that’s the only problem :)

Addictive. Im obsessed with this game, absolutely love it. I don’t have mum and dads credit card to compete with the big boys when a tier 2 tank battles with a tier6 makes you wonder why you bother battles need to be matched a bit better, but makes for a challenge. Despite my negative rant highly recommended. Walkabout.

Mid-war updates that prevent game working. Once again the devs at WM have provided a terribly timed update. It seems midway during a war and the first championship in months was the perfect time to introduce better looking clan badges - at the cost of no one in the world being able to join a battle. I’m glad I don’t spend money any more on this game and feel sorry for those that do. It seems to get worse each update in terms of playability. Match ups are also completely random and most times completely imbalanced. Apparently it’s too hard for devs to introduce some logic into balanced matchups. I recommend you avoid spending money on this game until it improves.

Fun game but very unbalanced. Fun but as you progress, the player levelling gets very unbalanced. Upgrades are very slow and if you want to make any progress without spending $$$ prepare to watch A LOT of ads. Player balancing is what killed it for me, if you are the least bit skilful, you will find yourself up against MUCH more advanced tanks all the time. They will kill you with one shot while your little pee shooter will take 10+ shots to kill them. Kinda takes all the fun out of it.

Frustrating. It’s too glitchy. You take aim, then a glitch will happen, as a result you miss your target. They then shoot you. It happens far too often. Then there’s the invisible tanks that destroy you

War machine. Great game but so expensive to play in real world $$$$$$$$ especially when playing from Australia. I still can’t work out WHY purchases from this game and others cost 3 times as much from Australia than other countries. It’s not like you have freight charges. I’m all for developers of great games to make money. This borders on theft. There will come a time I won’t be able to afford to play this game and others that have exorbitant prices.

“Buy this, buy that, give us your $$$!!!”. I tried playing this game, but was truly overwhelmed by this games blatant exhaustive and constant push at trying to make me spend my real hard earned cash. Don’t worry I wasn’t mug enough to give them a cent. Oh yes my suggestion on game play tactics is; as soon as you see this game appear on your phone press and hold down on it till it shakes then delete it, this is a very satisfying and winning move by my experience...

Stop the crashing. Had what your update did to critical repairs, taking the repairs from 50% down to 25% made it next to useless. Maybe that would be OK with two upgrades running but it will take years to get up to level 25 with all my upgrades. Pizzed off. Will not spend money on the app again until you give back what you have taken!

Fun, expensive, HORRIBLE customer service. Fun game, engaging but very expensive to play and the customer service is essentially non existent. I purchased an ingame upgrade pack and did not receive it, so requested a refund fromApple. The game then removed the equivalent of 120 dollars in diamonds (in game currency) for a pack I did not receive. I have been waiting for a response to rectify this but nothing has happened. 1 star for now until I receive a response. UPDATE: The game continues to steal from players by not giving items that were paid for. You have no ability to contact customer service as they don’t respond.

Could be a good game!. I must say the game graphics are above average, but there are many problems. The game is full of glitches! The servers continually go down and at the most in opportune times, during clan wars. The battle scenarios are simplistic. They remain unchanged for months. Players become bored. I realize that all internet games are a money making venture for the Developers but can you please make the battle scenarios fair for everyone. Once you reach the higher ranks, if you are not spending hundreds of dollars each month, you will not advance further. It is disheartening. Many players leave the Game at this point. Finally, I, personally, have had a complaint open in Customer Support for two months without any resolution. I’ve been either ignored or forgotten. I guess I’m just not a big enough spender to be helped!

Was great game until update.. This game is now unplayable. The lag is so bad, tanks just disappear, and appear elsewhere, wasting your ammo and power ups. When you try to contact support they have a bot system that is completely useless, with no way to contact developer directly. This game was really fun until the developers ruined it its bad updates. Super fun, pay to win, rough edges. You need to spend or be prepared to grind *a lot* to be competitive. This game doesn’t waste an opportunity to pull coins from your pocket. Ammo, fuel, upgrades, tech, camo and decal buffs, challenges. Bing bing bing bing bing bing. Gameplay itself is plenty fun. Small changes like fixing the awful collision geo would make big improvements. Expect your big tough tank to get hung up on a curb, pole or burnt out car body. Then for some reason you can drive through a picket fence. Synchronous mobile play results in lots of missed shots, either jerking when you fire or the enemy tank disappears. If you care about stats, that stuff matters. Do better or don’t show those stats. Some tutorials or even instructions would help too. Conquest for example is team-based King of the Hill. Sucks when your team mates don’t understand they should control the circle! Tooling around sniping while the enemy has possession = lose. And your chat options are useless for communicating.

No customer service. The developers/owners of this app have got to be the least sensitive to customer concerns and request of any company in the history of the world. Same maps since it began. We’ve been asking for a new map for a few years now….instead they add a few more tiers of tanks and a bunch of crew members, plus 27 different kinds of special ammo. As I said, they do not listen….which is why myself and many others have dropped premium. Don’t get me started on the matchups. Very unfair when you’re constantly battling tankers 3 ranks above you. I feel like another boycott is in the works. I’ve seen mention of it.

So costly ... too bad. It’s a fun game, but it’s so costly that it’s hard to justify continuing with it. Coins are not worth much without diamonds, and diamonds are expensive and rarely distributed in quantities that make them worthwhile.

Started off fun then not so much!. I enjoyed playing the game until I was charged for a purchase I did not make. When I contacted them they blamed Apple for the problem but they still took about 8000 diamonds ($28.24) from my account without any notice to “pay for the refund”. Bogus response. I spent a lot to play and upgrade my tank, so taking money on a false premise is a deal breaker. I have deleted the game. Look for something else that is less expensive.

Be very careful with this company. If you request a refund of an unrecognized purchase, they will deduct TEN TIMES the value of the refund from your diamonds, putting your account in a huge negative hole - and you are NOT permitted to use the account until you buy enough diamonds to bring it back to zero. No explanation, no recourse. (I tried…) So you could spend a LOT of time and money and be wiped out on a whim by this company. Don’t recommend getting into this game - or any other game they put out!

Greedy developers. This game was pretty good and reasonable if you wanted to pay to advance, up until a few weeks ago when they DOUBLED the price of everything! Money grabber!. For all the glitches that this game has, it could still be very interesting only if the developers hadn’t made it a money grab operation. DO NOT bother unless you have a few hundred $$$ that you don’t mind spending. If not, it doesn’t matter what tank you have or how upgraded it is, it will be a sitting duck for people who pay to play. The attack and armour numbers don’t matter and don’t make sense how weak your (seemingly powerful) tank is against someone who is paying. The developers have systematically reduced every reward to ensure people who don’t spend money cannot really compete or even “have fun” playing. It’s a pity! What’s more, I got charged for the so called “free trial” for premium users.

It’s only costly or expensive if you don’t have patience. Sure there are a dozen different ways to buy an upgrade. Buy it if you want to instantly have the best tank. You could also build up your diamonds and coins slowly, and get the upgrade a week or two later. The game gives you a choice.

Fun gameplay, but serious issues. I enjoy blowing things up, especially other tanks. The controls are based on your perspective: if you're driving in one direction and turn your turret, then the tank is going to turn. Direction is based on your point of view. This can be difficult to learn, but adept people will enjoy an advantage because of this. There is no customer support that i have found. Tried to purchase a subscription and ended up with diamonds instead. No response from any CSR. Also, the servers are overloaded. There can be many lags and glitches making the game almost unplayable at times. The jump in position between the tanks makes targeting near impossible at times. (I'm using a Gigabit connection, so no, it's not my internet)

Disappointing. Thought when starting the game, seemed like a decent game but the disappointment comes quickly. Server crashes happen a lot, right in the middle of the battles, matching with others is WAY off as when shooting, no damage is on another tank, yet you take full damage with 1 shot. Help is no existent, and when you do get an answer it’s “your fault” for not paying more to play a “free online” game. I get people spending money, so match those players up not allowing them to just go against non spenders. Tiers of tanks should be matched, which it’s not as you have higher tiers against lower tiers, and thus way more powerful. Again it’s about money. If you want to spend a ton weekly then this is a game for you. If you are wanting to slightly spend, but have fun, then STAY AWAY, cause you won’t have any fun, nor will be able to actually win prizes.

Fun but lots of waiting.. The bread bee crate which is lowest takes two hours to open without diamonds the silver takes 4 hours and the gold takes 8. You only get three crate holdings to start. More crate holders or an inventory that allows holding more would be better than a limit of three and the. You just losing everything else. I placed first in several fights but didn’t get anything because I wasn’t aware of this rule of the game of course I had only been playing for two days so I obviously wouldn’t know all the rules yet. But that is a feature that needs to be fixed because the earn rate of diamonds is abysmal for a free player.

No hope unless you spend. The game starts out OK and is actually fun early on. But you soon realize that unless you can upgrade constantly, you will quickly become just a target for the spenders. If you don’t spend money, you will quickly become outmatched as the resources to buy and upgrade the tanks are slow coming. I’ve played for over two years and am still stuck with an underclassed tier 3 tank. It is not unusual to be matched with 1-3 loaded tanks and you are nothing but fodder for them. If you can manage 1-2 kills a round to their 10+, you are doing well. I started over in order to enjoy some success, but am already at the level where I am getting constantly blasted again. So play and enjoy if you want to spend. But you can never catch up as they keep adding add on’s, putting you even further behind.

Love this game but a problem. This game is addicted to the game Sniper3D so when I’m playing that game and lose energy I have to play two rounds to get more energy. I don’t like having to do that and I want this game to fix it. please remove it and I will have a great time also there are barely any ads that makes it really good. So that’s most of the stuff that I want to say about. so war machines please make it so you don’t have to play two rounds to get more energy in sniper 3-D. and sniper 3-D I want you to fix your game because every time I’m trying to play then guess what when I’m done with a criminal then my screen freezes so I need you all developers or admin to fix that crap. if this is offensive to war machines I am sorry.

War Machines. The graphics are good, no one can fault that. I play it to kill time!! The makers channel people to pay to play the game and spend real money. Who wants to play a GAME!!! and I mean a GAME!! and spend money, when there are thousands of free games to down load and play for free to kill time. The makers of the game make real money every time you watch a stupid video. The game costs to upgrade your tank are soooooo ridiculous but that is done to entice you to pay them real money. The battles, tanks are put in each battle that I guess by paying have super tanks and it’s done to pull you into the field of paying real money as no one likes to be beaten in a battle, but the makers of the game do it to try and get you to spend real money!! Tanks emitted to a battle should be of the same grade so it’s the skill of your fingers moving a tank to fight. Diamonds, coins, ammo. Pay real money for this and that, plus the subscription, $8 bucks a week!! If it was maybe 50 cents one may consider it. I will continue to play to fill time, however I did subscribe to the free weeks trial and paid for an extra week. What exactly did it do. NOTHING of a real Benefit!!!! Only one review!!! Total Scam , the Only Thing That’s Free is Your Money !. I downloaded the game , played , decided to spend two bucks for a new player deal , three better tanks than the beginning Chaffee , some diamonds and gold . Of course I used the money to upgrade the best of the three , that’s three tanks that were included , of the three tanks assured with the purchase. I logged out , the two lower class tanks I bought with the purchase now cost me gold or diamonds to “ purchase” two tanks I had already purchased . The only way it’s free , is you buy something , they keep your money and don’t give you what you paid for , it’s free money for the developer , that’s the only way it’s free and Apple not only allows it , they encourage it. The App store is loaded with thieving scum , like the developers of this game . Deleted the game , they won’t ever see another penny from this victim.

Great Game....but can be crazy expensive. Beware folks if you like competition this game has it....but at a cost. I thought I could be be patient and work my through but you can’t. The levels get to tough and the durations for making a tank competitive take way too long. There is no payback for improving your tank except you go to a higher level in which you will spend more time & money improving that levels tank. Overall the game is very entertaining for me but I have to watch it because they have a unique way of getting into my wallet. I wish they would improve the game by allowing a tank auction for the fake currency or diamond and the game developer could take a fee for the transaction. But great game if it wasn’t so expensive.

Fun but extremely expensive and I mean EXTREMELY. After every type of play or work you are bombarded with purchase options. The game wants you to advance quickly so you have to spend a fortune to keep up with the other players. If you like the game I read somebody else that deletes and starts over until he has to pay. Then does it all over again. I have not played in over a year. I recently downloaded the game to see how it is going. I played it and found my old account. I realized why I stopped. I have now started a new game twice now. However I do drop a few bucks sometimes to get a little better tank in the first level. It is almost time to delete and do it again. If you really are serious it will cost you many thousands of dollars.

Good game but they’ll rip you off!!. The game is good. I have no complain but they’ll rip you off. I just bought 700 diamonds worth of ammo and it didn’t show up in my inventory and diamonds are expensive to purchase. In addition, they keep raising the price of ammo (in diamonds) 100 armored piercings ammo was 50 diamonds, then raised it to 75 diamonds, then 100 and now 125 diamonds depending on how many diamonds you purchased. They also lower the amount of time you can play on a tank of gas so you buy more and more. When they realize you’re hooked on the game they keep nickel and dime you in any way they can and make you buy more diamonds to stay in the game. As I said, it’s a rip off!!! And support is nonexistent. I click on the icon to email support and the next page says the page you requested does not exist! Remember I told you so!!!

Literally Ripoff WoT. Honestly, just get World of Tanks Blitz. I'm being completely serious here. Anyone who says there isn't a good tank game hasn't seen WoT. Basically everything in this game is copied from WoT very poorly, from the tank selection area, to the placement of the name, even to the end battle screen. Now on to the other issues of this game. The most noticeable problem is the movement. It's clumsy, unrealistic (no, tracks do not work like that when turning), and all around awful. Second, the armor penetration is unrealistic, especially when you put a Renault FT with a frickin' Patton. This game has so many problems, and although I haven't gotten as far in the game as others, I can see most of the problems, and reviews can tell that there is a very clear Pay-to-win issue with this game. Seriously, just get the game this one tried to copy, World of Tanks Blitz (or just World of Tanks if you use a PC.) and have more fun than you could ever get from this game. This is a pretty pathetic excuse for a game.

Team battle. Over this last war, I noticed several tanks getting shot four and five times before any damage would inflict on them. I have seen this before but not as bad as in this war. It waist players ammo when the shots are not counting. Plus it messes up your accuracy as it counts as a none hit. One or two no big deal but when you loose 2 to 300 of various ammo over these tanks during a war it hurts. We did pay for that ammo after all. I love the game but it seems pack prices are going up and there not worth it. Raising decal packs over 20 highly effects most budget players just sell packs with less ammo. Didn’t get my BattlePack. I purchased last minute (with real money) the amount of diamonds needed literally a minute before expiration, clicked to buy and never got my battlepack. I sent a message to them and they never even responded. They can full well see what I did and just thought it was crappy they would take my real money and not give me my silly digital battlepack that I worked for weeks (which is tedious) to earn. Another small gripe is when on earth when you open a crate do I get so many useless items. They could be more generous and make it easier to gain special items to keep people engaged. Mostly disappointed that they never replied to my request and find this very poor customer service.

Money grab game; disregarding costumer/player. I played game a good amount, I spent some money to stay relevant and competitive. I made a purchase where I sought a refund, but when the refund was awarded the game punished me by charging triple the in game currency in which you get a negative “diamond” balance. They do not let you play until that balance is at zero. You would have to spend over $100 dollars to just play again. I reached out to customer service, which are bots and aren’t really helpful at all. They’re response was “wait for a good diamond deal and keep re buying until you’re positive again “. Didn’t work with me at all. I do not recommend this game to anyone who understands good business as well as a fun game. This is why people stick with console gaming or PC, and not these money games on mobile. I hope this helps deter anyone on the fence about this game. STAY AWAY WAR MACHINES IS THE WORST KIND OF GAME.

A lot of issues. This game has a pay to play set up with a very minimal return . There is currently a boycott that is to get the devs attention so they will focus on fixing some of the issues related to game play , as well as making the sales more affordable for players ... at this time the cost to play and build your tank is overwhelming , and truthfully will add up quickly . The game itself is a lot of fun, and the online play making friends and joining a clan is also a lot of fun, but the developers we’d to address some issues otherwise risk losing MANY MANY LONGTIME PLAYERS .. hopefully with more of these reviews being written, the developers will start to notice and they will address the issues .. furious tanks is a great alternative that a lot of people are playing while boycotting war machines and some plan on staying even after the issues are addressed.. if you can play at a laid back pace and not be competitive.... then you will be ok , otherwise be prepared to spend some money !!

Review. Requires to much in game purchasing. To build a tank to compete you could “buy” two of the better tanks. If you get good enough to win crates there aren’t enough slot to open them. Of course you can only open 1 at a time and that takes hours. If you win diamonds they shouldn’t be locked in a safe you have to pay to open. I realize that you want to make money. There needs to be a better balance so player will return more often and maybe then do a purchase to benefit play enjoyment or customizing their tank. Bully’s should not be able to fly around corners. Tanks should not blow up if you bump an object. Tanks should not teleport away form one spot just before u kill them. Driving through an open area and the tank bounces back like you hit something that’s not there and take damage. Come on simple little things.

Fun, but historically inaccurate. The game is fun & easy to learn & play. Sadly, the designers don’t seem to know much about the history of tanks & which ones should be grouped together in equal tiers. For some reason Two WW2 era tanks & the M60 Patton tank (introduced December 1960!) are placed in tier one with the WW1 era Renault FT. Huh? They also don’t seem to know the hierarchy of WW2 German tanks placing the Panther (Panzer 5) in tier one, while the Panzer 4 is three tiers higher at tier 4. Huh? Also, it is free to play, but you are always repeated prompted to buy, buy, buy. Spend your real money for Diamonds, Fuel, & Premium status. Have fun, but do not expect realism. Expect your playing to be interrupted by sales pitches promoting you to spend real money. Oh, and join a clan (for free) to get better payout from your battles.

Do Not Waste Your Time. This game is a complete money grab and an absolute waste of time. It starves you of fuel and once you’ve earned it, if you’re not paying, it glitches out, only to reopen with an empty tank, (pun intended). This glitch has happened to me EVERY TIME I GET A FULL TANK OF FUEL. Let me repeat that. EVERYTIME I HAVE GOTTEN A FULL TANK OF FUEL OVER THE LAST THREE MONTHS, THE GAME HAS GLITCHED OUT TO RETURN ME LOW ON FUEL. NOTE I HAVE NOT SPENT A PENNY ON THIS GAME, I SUSPECT THAT IF ONE IS WILLING TO SPEND MONEY, YOU’D NEVER EXPERIENCE ANY ISSUES. You also need to know that your tank may take ten shots to kill a paying opponent who will kill you with one hit. The game is absolute rubbish and designed to nurse money from your bank account and into the designers pockets. Don’t take my word for it, read the reviews, or go ahead and waste your time, get frustrated and resent the B.S. that has become so commonplace in this world of Pludocratic Anarchy.

Competitive and exciting. I’ve never had a game get me so mad until this one! Lol! Many people are talking about having to pay , while you do have that option you are also given plenty of opportunities to earn or win diamonds. Also many 6x bonuses to buy a decent amount of diamonds for a low price(think 1.99 for 250 diamonds) If you move your tank around in the fields and pick up drops u can make your ammo stronger. Join a clan and earn diamonds, skins decals::: fun game . Also one battle to the next can have you getting blown up on the regular then the next battle you’re on top. Trap ( I wonder why Apple wouldn’t publish my review). The game is fun and attractive at the beginning but it will soon ask you to spend money to play. If you do spend the money oh boy you’ll think you’ll get stronger and get an edge over the other players but you won’t. It is my experience after player this game for a year and spending almost $3000 US dollars (I’m not kidding my user name is Colotordoc from the clan US COBRA KINGS)that you’ll NEVER get stronger when you spend more money because it’ll keep asking you for more and more to keep playing. I’m a real player who’s made the worst investment of my life in 2021 and at this point I don’t care if I get banned or whatever for telling the truth. I thought about quitting like many others who get disheartened playing this game but I think I rather make people aware of this game as the BIGGEST SCAM in gaming history. Stay clear, this app is poison!

Fun games not for free. I’ve played this game on and off for a while now. Here are some things to consider from a casual player: The spawn points are terrible. As soon as you kill some one there is a very high chance that they can just spawn right behind you if you move out to find other tanks. If you get into a clan most of the time the number one rule is “don’t shoot USA flag” blah blah blah. That’s just stupid. It’s a game where you fight free-for-all style and get points and ranking from kills. Progression is very slow for non premium players. You get in game “diamonds” that can be used, other diamonds earned get put into a vault that you have to buy to unlock with real money. Annoying. I’m not sure how they do servers because you play with people from all over and the lag is bad if you’re not on WiFi. The game can be a fun way to pass the time but when you are in a clan you are forced to get so many kills or you risk getting kicked.

So this is their gimmick. EXPOSED!!. I'm going to tell you the greedy money grabbing plan of the creators of this game. The only thing that you really buy in the game to actually win battles costs DIAMONDS. Diamonds cost REAL MONEY. Once you purchase enough diamonds with your real money to buy in-game items like Armor Piercing rounds and RPG's and customizations such as increased shot power, or increased armor, the game begins to glitch so heavily that you are unable to use any of your purchases. You are forced to continually restart the game until you have no more gas left in the tank to play and you haven't killed anyone nor have you even played any games. However you have just spent 100+ DIAMONDS that you bought with your REAL MONEY! Pay attention people! This is a huge scam. It surprises me that there isn't a class action lawsuit by now because I have definitely been talking to lawyers about this.

Love this game , but. A message to the developers, I love playing this game, however, when I didn’t receive the diamonds that I purchased, and got nothing but runaround from your customer service I decided to never spend another single penny on this game, I know I’m just one of your millions of customers, but that’s 40 to 50 a month you won’t get from me, to add insult you reset my user name and I had to purchase it again, this game is brilliant, and addicting, but, you can quickly tell the age group that runs it based on their customer service, I hope someone reads this that truly cares

Good game. Easy to play. I’ve been playing for about 2 years. I’ll play it leave it for a while then come back. It’s definitely not a free game but the fun for me is as you see the tanks and weapons that have been payed for inter the game you are still able to destroy them. It’s obvious which have been payed for. The are always updating the game and that makes it interesting. I would like to see more diamonds inter the playing field or just make the coins worth something. After a point you can have all the coins you want and they don’t buy you anything. In the beginning you need the coins so players are going after them but after awhile most are just left on the field. Still it’s a good game

Can’t access game. Fun game but Purchased a new phone and cannot access my previous account. Can see it in the clan I’m in, have all of my receipts, see the accomplishments but no access to get in. I’ve reached out but have yet to receive a response..and there’s no easy way to get in contact with someone. after putting money into upgrades and such, I feel as if there should be an easier way to regain control of my account.. wouldn’t have downloaded and put money into this if I had known customer support was so miserable..would love to still play and grow but I need some help.. Fun, but spendy and one catastrophic glitch. Good: Super graphics - though I liked them better on iPad before the mid-May 2020 update (version 4.37) - and entertaining gameplay. Fast paced and fun. Bad: Easy to end up spending a lot of real world $ if you want to remain competitive after hitting Lieutenant rank. Way too easy to end up in a badly lopsided match against superior tanks - it’s no fun when you stand no chance. Ugly: App now hangs on startup and won’t get past title screen. Can’t get into it to make sure game data is synced to Facebook or to change server. Unless it comes back on line, my only option is to uninstall/reinstall and lose my data - and I’ve spent too much energy and game $ getting to where I am to willingly start over from zero.

Fun but needs a fix or two. Fun but, has glitches or cheats that need to be addressed. Upfront, many times when you re-generate, you do so right in front of a group of competitors who can start shooting you before you have a chance to react. Although you have a shield you still need time to identify your attackers.. Several times I have attacked a tank and even with high energy shells was not able to even reduce their strength as if they were invulnerable. My shells made no effect on the opposing tank. Also, I witnessed some tanks, being able to fire more than one shell in less than a second. And in many instances, I have had full shield and was destroyed with one shot. I am assuming that there are cheats causing this and they should be addressed.

Many reasons to avoid. First off, it is a money pit. If you don’t pay, you do t win. It’s that simple. You are simply an endless target to reward those that shell out thousands, and I mean THOUSANDS of dollars. Next, the chat function isn’t actively monitored. Trolls in the chat section can report you for disagreeing with them and get accounts locked. All they have to do is actually read the platform THEY CREATED, but no, they auto respond to complaints whether valid or not. This game used to be fun. Greed, laziness, and indifference from the developers has ruined it. Servers frequently crash during battles because they refuse to pump money back into the game to fix issues. Avoid like the plague until they both make it fair and stop allowing trolls to exist without any monitoring whatsoever.

Expensive!. I have been playing this game for a year now. I have worked up to being a general with a fully upgraded tier 5 tank. It is fun to play but you won’t do well unless you spend some $! Cheapest way is to buy a premium package for a year ($99) as soon as you use up the free trial. Then wait for special 2 for 1 offers on diamonds. You have to buy diamonds because you can’t earn enough from playing. This is because even once you upgrade your tank you have to buy paint and decals to be able to compete. Also, join a clan as soon as you can as you earn more if you do. And maybe someday they will fix it so people cannot fire around corners, or blow you away without even pointing their gun in your direction. Lastly, whoever ranks the tanks in terms of what’s best obviously knows nothing about their actual history!

Too expensive they just take $$$’s.. I’m at my $$ limit after only 1 month. If I run out of Diamonds or coins I’m out. All they have to do is reduce the cost at WM and they’ll get more players. Recently had several battles where the blue team I was on lost with zero points and the opposing red team had three digit kills. WM does not match levels properly so too easy to loose and gain nothing. Complained to support about this issue and all they did was minus my diamonds so the only way to continue was to spend $$$’s to get my diamonds back to positive. They really need to listen to the players and fix their support system. Their stupid improvements, Flags, Emotes, World and Region chats not to mention the costs should be really evaluated. It’s very expensive to upgrade any tank so that you can compete. And then you have to spend on Diamonds or Coins to get better. This game only takes $$ and continues to take $$. It is not worth it.🤬

Everything cost to much for little return. Game is fun but you charge way to much for diamonds and coins,We the gamers should get way more for the price cause yall are making a killing,ive spent hundreds of dollars and still not maxed out,it shouldn’t cost a diamond or more per bullet and shouldn’t take a month worth of saving coins to upgrade one part on some tanks.....also you should make more maps to play on and have sandy and muddy hills to go up n down on and through creeks n streams n over logs n stuff to battle instead of everything feeling like its a race to just shoot tanks cause that’s just boring after u kill a thousand tanks n a war

Fun at first, BUT.... Downloaded this game after hearing about how fun it was. And it was fun, AT FIRST. Good graphics, didn’t drain my battery life too bad...however, as you start moving up through the ranks and upgrading your tanks, THAT’S WHEN THE BS BEGINS AND THE WHOLE THING SPIRALS. Keep in mind, I have never spent a dime on this game and I recognize that there are in fact people who are willing to spend lots of money just to play...I’m not one of those. It seems funny to me that they match you against players who are 2 and 3 tiers higher than you, which can kill you in one shot. Seems funny to me how as soon as you spawn, you’re immediately bombarded with punk sucker shots when you can’t shoot back. Seems funny to me that you can shoot right at somebody and watch your round go right through them, doing absolutely zero damage. Seems funny that unless you pay a lot of money, you can’t compete. FORGET THAT. Don’t waste time or money on this garbage.

Sad. Been playing the game since it first came out when it first came out it was a pretty awesome game but the money grabbers that run the game (The company) have ruined it in the last two years. When you first start out you’re up against tanks that are the same level you are but now it takes forever to great creases power of your tank and you’re going up against people who are way above you in rank in ratings and it’s not fair it’s not even used to be able to get some decent kills in but if you don’t spend any money you’re not gonna get any kills in one or two pretty sad where the company’s gone most of the people I know that are playing matter fact 90% of my team we are all leaving the game we’re done with it don’t get it unless you wanna spend a small fortune every week and I mean hundreds of dollars is what it’s gonna cost you if not more to be competitive

Rampant Cheating and Hacking. Whereas War Machines is a very in-depth, immersive and fun game to play, I rate it as a one star only because the rating scheme doesn’t accommodate for negative stars. Although free to download and play, associated real money expenditure can become very pricey. Sadly, what plagues this game are the apparent 3rd party web sites that offer in game currency generation (the same currency that legitimate players have to spend real money on) as well as a host of cheats and hacks to be used while in battle mode. Although I have yet to actually witness instances of currency generation, I can attest to instances where opposing players have had an unfair advantage over their opponents through cheats and hacks that are out of the realm and scope of the game’s power ups; i.e., god mode and reticule aiming manipulation. You can forget about any help from the developer’s so called customer service as, in my case, a half dozen customer support inquiries apparently fell on deaf ears through either apathy or plain old “don’t give a %*&@“

Dolla Dolla Bills. Another typical game where you have to spend tons of money to be competitive. Really? $99 to buy some diamonds or gold to upgrade your tank in order to compete? PS and Xbox games don’t cost that much and they’re not one dimensional like this game. Don’t waste your time unless you’re willing to drop serious cash to actually enjoy upgrading your tank. And you are pitted against players based on rank which has nothing to do with how good a player you are or aren’t or how good a tank you have. You have to play against folks who have tanks way better than you, so most of the time you’re just getting slaughtered Just charge a flat rate to buy the game and make it merit based like PS and Xbox games, where everyone can rank up similarly, not just the folks willing to drop hundreds of dollars or the ones who have figured out cheats for unlimited gold and diamonds.

Money Hungry Producers.. I have had this game for a little over a week. The price of ammo has increased twice in that small amount of time! It’s now over double what it was when I first started. You have to spend diamonds on ammo which are rare to find in game and cost real money to collect any decent amount. While the amount of diamonds needed to purchase special ammo has more than doubled, the amount you get when you spend real $$$ hasn’t changed at all. For those of us who have already purchased diamonds before the increase are now cheated out of what we could have bought before the greedy producers increased the price of ammo. Once again we see a game that could have been good ruined because the creators greedy. On a side note, if you want to get a decent tank be prepared to spend over $20. $5-$20 won’t get you anywhere close to a competing tank. In conclusion I wouldn’t recommend this game to you or any of my friends.

Way to jumpy and matchup is a joke. This game use to be absolutely phenomenal. Then, you could tell they started getting little more greedy. Way to expensive to do anything in the game. Spend lots to get upgrade on tank, only to then sit and wait till September of 2019 to get complete. Ah ha! No just throw hard earned diamonds to speed it up, or sale your first born and get it tomorrow evening!!! Way to many glitches and this new update/Challenge is a total joke. If you have the money, have fun. If not just get frustrated. Seriously don’t lIke playing any longer. The game has glitches during this “challenge” mode and given me loss. Now I am required to pay diamonds to get back into the mode and then game freezes and I get loss again.?.!?. And there is no way the ratings up at top are that... go read the reviews, they’re a lot from way before the carnage and update from hell!! Even the report an issue doesn’t work properly. They ask for screen shot of video and it will not upload.

Glitchy and overpriced. Like everyone else says, it’s fun for a while in the early stages until they start matching you up with waaaaayyyyy better tanks—it’s a total grind to earn enough in-game loot to upgrade your own, so be prepared to be cannon fodder and getting killed a ton (you’ll get killed 6-8 times per game at 10 seconds per regeneration, so at least 1/3 of a 3 minute game will be spent waiting to be respawned). And even after you upgrade your tank you’ll still be inferior unless you drop lots of real money on upgrades. Oh, and think you got to the on-field loot first? Nope, even though you touched it first that other player 1-2 tank lengths away beat you to it…how does that work? And then there are the other glitches like having your tank movement bounce around like a bumper car. Lastly, there’s absurd tank tech like the ability of some tanks to transport away from danger…way to keep it realistic designers!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME. This game has a lot of bugs. Requires money to buy diamonds to use on in game Tank Patterns that will stop working and their support takes months to even address the issuing at all. I have played this game since it was released in 2016 and so many people have come and gone due to the bugs. This is the final straw for me as I had Camo Patterns that will not work on the tank it was awarded. This after I foolish spent a lot of diamonds for other “clan” decals and ammo only to have them become useless as a result of their bugs. Only way to have a tank worth its salt is to have camo aka “Paint” and than a decal. The paint stops letting you use it on desired tanks just another bug in a long string of issues this game has. Don’t be fooled, their support is awful if your lucky enough to have them address any player issues. I don’t know how this game can be allowed on the App Store. Shame on you Apple for allowing your users to be victimized by this developer.

This game is for you IF.... If you want to spend every waking moment in the game or/and you want to spend a car payment on upgrades or power ups then this game is for you. I’d give this game one star but to be fair most “free to play” games are a lot like this one. I have been playing for over a year and have a fully upgraded C1. Yes I’ve got ALL the other advanced tanks but it takes forever to upgrade them. To get enough coin to upgrade them you either have to spend about $400 a month or live in the game and spend $200 a month on upgrades. Developers seem to forget it’s a game. It’s supposed to be FUN. Frankly if I wanted something to take over my life I’d get a second job or learn how to golf. Either alternative would be more fun and cheaper!

Switching back to the original Battlezone. Don’t waste your time. The game is addicting, but in order to be competitive you have to either spend 100s of dollars, or be patient and clan up. I guess that I am old school, but a game of this quality used to cost $40-$80 one time for a fair, skill based playing experience. This game forces you to pay over and over again to stay competitive, creating a pusher-user relationship between the developer of the game and the player. Parents, please disallow purchases on your child’s device or you’ll be in for a huge surprise bill. I can only imagine how much money true addicts have wasted on this game. GREEDY! Clanning up for extra rewards doesn’t work well either as the game frequently drops you from your clan hours before the “payout”, so you waste time all week to no avail.

Malfunction. I’ve been playing the game for about a year now. And it’s freaking awesome. But the only issue im having right now is that when you die at the bottom it gives you the option to buy like 10 bullets for 6-9 diamonds. And for me it won’t allow me to buy the bullets. I’ll tap on it many times and nothing happens. And this is hurting my games bad because I’m getting very low on bullets. Now there’s other ways to get diamonds other then spending money on them but let’s be serious , who wants to spend their hard earned money on some diamonds everyday? I’m hoping it’s not just me cause that would mean there is a glitch but I’m hoping this gets fixed soon. If it’s me I’m looking for some help to see how I can fix it. Other than that I’m loving the game

Frustrating. I love this game, but the glitching is frustrating. The tank jumps around more than a three year old on a Mountain Dew rush. One second I’m aiming at an opponent, then next I’m facing a wall shooting at nothing. One thing that doesn’t glitch...your use of ammo. It always will shoot, but often it goes right through the tank. Strange thing....when I bought diamonds to purchase ammo, it worked great...no issues at all. I haven’t in a long time and now all it does is glitch. I’ll keep trying to play, but when the ammo and diamonds run out, I guess this app will have run its course on my devices.

The best big tank game in the world. The second I saw this game it already gave me chills up my spine and if I’m being completely honest I don’t really have enough friends growing up but now playing this game gives me lots and lots of encouragement to show people who I am and what my talent is I playing this gameInvolves fun different game moans like team death match free-for-all and all that other stuff you can also customize your tank and by the way if you have enough coins you can even get to level 10 to start your own clan when you’re done starting your own clan now friends can join you on the go as long as you have Wi-Fi you’re OK now if you excuse me I gotta go play some War Machines with my friends

Can be VERY EXPENSIVE!. Best tank game ever! But unless you like everyone blowing you up the whole game which isn't very long unless you watch advertising you need the best tank $100 usd or save up for a year or two if you want to max this tank out its around $5,385 usd or you can save up for 2 to 3 years also the top tank has only been out since Christmas Day so who knows there maybe a newer model that comes out and the time effort and money on your old tank is almost for nothing so if you have an addictive gaming personality and usually spend a lot of money on iTunes be careful very addictive and fun wish it was cheaper and yes I will be some money here also they ask for a weekly monthly or yearly subscription $100 usd a year to increase your earnings during game play if you don't it will take twice as long as I mentioned to get anywhere in this game

Absolutely terrible. The only thing decent about the game is its graphics. Otherwise, the controls are a joke, matches are a complete joke, everything about the game is just awful. You’re constantly pushed to spend money or wait multiple hours for an insane amount of necessary upgrades to every aspect if every tank you purchase. You are put into matches against far superior tanks that you have little to no effect on but can easily kill you with one or two shots at a maximum. Field drop box upgrades seem to do absolutely nothing. The battle area is pathetically small for the random 6 tanks that are in it, where some tanks also seem to be able to shoot through walls and objects that you cannot. Enemy tanks spawn right behind or next to you randomly and kill you in first shot. What a joke. Beyond frustrating and all around a terrible game.

Great game play but developers are in a huge cash grab. I love this game but in the beginning you could earn your way it higher ranks and greater tanks through work and skill lately the game is removing earnable benefits if you want to compete at higher levels you are almost forced to pay to play the new updates add little to the content and mostly remove the ability to play with competitively with out laying out a few hundred a month. Some people complain about The unmoderated chat ... yes there is profanity and sexist comments veiled in ******** but truthfully that’s in almost all games you don’t need to chat to play so take what you want from the game and leave the rest

Connection need to be improved. Some items for improvement: Jerky game play what’re you are lined up perfectly only to be teleported to another spot. You don’t score hits on your opponent but they score hits on you. Magic bullets hit you around protected shelter. You aim and fire but your shot goes way off target even with your opponent in the sights. At game start the other guy has already scored a hit and you haven’t even spawned. Opponents quit mid battle when you have them depleted only to then face another opponent to come take you out because you were depleted in the previous fight. There needs to be a quit penalty. Just played a game where 3 other tanks disappeared. Scored 5 hits on a tank and one of my team mates poached it and I received no assist points. Some buildings have a buffer area around the where shot get deflected but the shot is lined up correctly....like the crane in the oil field.

Purchase Tanks. It’s a good game, but it would be a great game if they change the premium tanks abilities. They need to turn down the difference between premium (paid for) tanks and standard user tank. Premium tanks (without tech, pattern, decal or special ammo) dominates the game. Often receiving double digit kills with 0 deaths. I have seen it at the ridiculous level. Make the game fun please. I get, you are there to generate revenue, but the game would be more challenging for paying folks if you tweak it a bit. It has reached the ridiculous level. If you don’t spend the extraordinary amount of money it is dominated by the folks that purchase premium benefits. When you go into a battle and someone has no enhancements (except for certain premium tanks) , and they get double digit kills exceeding the combined kills of 7 people, that has reached the ridiculous level!!!!!
