Doesn’t work. This game says it’s compatible with an iPhone but doesn’t even work, I’ve tried playing this numerous times, it’s stuck on the “name” screen. I can’t skip, or put my name in. It’d be nice if this was updated so people could play it, especially since it’s on sale right now. You would think this would be updated since Big Fish is still selling it.

Of aerobic pursuits in time travel and clumsiness..... If U need a good virtual workout, running from scene to scene in a tired, lock-step routine in which U exchange one item for another up the chain until I assume a finale of some sorts arrives and U prevail- this game is for U. If U R a couch potato and would rather skip the aerobics, never fear, there R portals to take away even that small challenge. There aren't enough HOP's, and just for kicks and giggles (excepting the leatherman) every freaking tool U find disappears as soon as U use it! I know this is pretty standard, but damnit one would think a time traveling professor would think to hold onto a screwdriver! I even lost the rock I was forced to use as a hammer! Aaagghhh! How clumsy, butterfingered, absent-minded or just plain baked can an avatar be? I tried to like this game- it had so much promise: a time traveling professor who must solve the mystery of whether and or why she killed the oddly well-shaven-unibomber, only to discover her niece is the real culprit. At first going back and forth in time, finding creepy, other-dead-Bill-Gates-looking-guy, hidden ominous voodoo room and at last-shifting back to the dark ages just in time to see "ye olde public execution", but it gets old and ends fast. It was nothing special.

Way too short. I liked the free trial so I bought the game for $5. This was not worth buying the full version. I finished this game in an hour. For the price it should've been much longer. I've bought games for $2 and they were triple the length of this game. On a good note, the graphics were good, story line was decent but the story could've been so much more. My recommendation keep your money on this game, it's just not worth it for the price.

Can’t get past the enter name part. The keys are not registering my touch and so I can’t even type in a name or click on “ok” to get to the game

Disappointed. This is the third game from Big Fish that I have installed on my new phone that won’t play. I have installed other games from other developers with no problem. It’s sad because I have been playing this developer’s games for years. Not anymore.

Meh..... Downloaded the trial, which was fine the first time I opened it. Now it won't even open at all. All I get is a black screen. Glad I didn't pay for it. It was interesting and fun. They used the 3 panel screens, which I like. I'll be happy to up the stars, if I can figure out how to get the thing to work.

Great game!. Challenging, fun, full of variety and puzzles. Recommend.

Grim tales-final suspect. Excellent ! Really enjoying these unique and clever puzzles....fun and ....not always so easy. Like the story line, graphics, visuals amazing . This is a good one!! Challenging , long... Am not finished yet, but ...it is GOOD!

$7! Pulease!. The Game is great but once you're done with the free part and you want to do the upgrade to the paid version it's seven dollars! I think not!

Move. Thank God there's a map with teleportation or you'd be going back and forth for forever! The map tells you where there is a move to make, and, believe me, you'll be very happy to use it. The puzzles are varied in style and difficulty. The story seems rather blah, but I never pay much attention the the story. The game is okay, but not great.

(Also) Stuck on “Name” Screen. When the game begins, there is a short cutscene with a “Skip” option that doesn’t work. The game then goes to a screen that allows the player to enter their name. I am unable to enter a name or even accept the generic user name. The game is frozen and won’t allow any action or input by the user. Since I see App Store comments & reviews a year old from people who have had the same problem, it seems as though you may want to choose another game. While troubleshooting, I ran across an article on the Big Fish website that said Apple would no longer support 32-bit games with iOS 11; as of the writing of this review, that article had been updated 2 days prior. Since going back to look at the dates and iOS versions caused me to lose the first draft of this review, I can’t verify this might be the issue. As I purchased this game over 6 years ago, I think this is probably a reasonable assumption. If this IS the issue, then neither Big Fish nor Apple should allow this game to be offered on the Apple App Store. If the game is no longer supported, I’m somewhat annoyed the Apple & Big Fish still have it on the Apple App Store.

Okay, but.... ...not very challenging. Decent graphics and story but not much else. A lot of back and forth; HO scenes were scant and so were the mostly easy puzzles. There was only one puzzle that was remotely challenging but it was like a poor man's MCF puzzle Played most of the way through the trial but not interesting/challenging enough to finish or purchase.

Great!. Puzzles were innovative, but wish they were harder. Elephant goes out of their way to add little flourishes here and there. The HOs were varied; list, silhouette, FROG, match the pairs, and combinatory. The story is long, then after you finish there’s a secret room where you play a few puzzles and HOs again for an achievement. You collect morphing objects in every scene, and 16 stained glass pieces that comprise 4 mosaics, and once you complete a mosaic, you can play a HO. So, lots to do. I usually don’t use the teleporting map, because I like to feel like I’m really there. But in the medieval section it was absolutely necessary, because you kept going back and forth between two rooms a lot. Real rating of 4.5 bumped up to 5.

Great trial!!! Realistic. I rarely get into the story of BF games but b/c this 1 isn't fantasy I did. Im glad there was only 2 H.O. Scenes, they are usually too simple. Great story, challenging game play. Mini games were too easy but the game play more than makes up for it. Wud have been 5 stars w better larger text.

Won’t let me even put my name in!!!. There was another review exactly like this and it also happened to me today. I have an iPhone XR and it won’t let me put my name in, I can’t skip that part, I can’t do anything!! Ridiculous of Big Fish to do this!! This needs to be fixed now, you’ve known about it for quite a while and no update to fix the problem. Why 🤷🏼‍♀️

This episode of the Anna Gray (Grim Tales) series is lots of fun!. I have come to the Grim Tales series only this year, and I’m really enjoying every episode, even though I’m having to play them out of chronological order. I love hidden object games that feature strong female leads, and this series is one of those. The story arc of the Gray Family is compelling, and the quality of the voice acting enhances the narrative (this can and does very often detract/ruin the imaginative journey of many such games). The graphics, level of complexity and accessibility are all really well-designed. I’m not a fan of the horror genre per se, so the way the game designers have clearly given thought to the interests of other genre fans and given us a range of ways to enjoy this series regardless (eg fantasy, crime and speculative/scifi) impresses in every game in this series I’ve played. The whodunnit of this game is mind-bending yet again!

Disappointing. Game keeps seizing up and I have to delete and reinstall. And lose all my game play. I'll never make it through the bonus game at this rate.
