Does what it’s supposed to do.. Pretty ok. Decent. Not as good as ComicRack, but does the job.

Awful Reader Don’t Waste Your Time. I downloaded and couldn’t open the CBZ I have saved on my phone from inside the app. Once I figured out to navigate to the file system and long tap the cbz file and open with Comic I got to read for 2 seconds before interrupted by an ad. No thanks. Get lost.

Mostly good. Kinda clunky but serviceable. Controls iffy and the ads are punishing, but I’m too cheap to buy any of the paid cbr reader apps. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Works great, but annoying popups. I’ve been using this app for reading comics for about a week. It’s performed well, but besides the ad content at the bottom of the screen there are popups that constantly interrupt my reading roughly every 15 mins-30 mins. They have a 5 second countdown before you can exit pestering you to upgrade to premium. I don’t have a problem with ad-supported apps, but dislike when the ads are designed to disrupt the experience that the app is providing. Having the ad consistently available somewhere on the screen is fine, but having the ad literally stop you from using the app repeatedly is a bit much. That’s the only criticism I have as this reader is clean and works as intended.

Please update for new screens. The app is well thought out and full of good features. I pooped for the premium version too quickly though, unfortunately the viewer won’t expand to fill the full width of the screen in landscape mode. I’d be fine with it just going to the “notch” on my iPhone X, but it’s clearly written for older screen sizes, which is a bummer. I know there hasn’t been an update in a while, but please take a minute to fix this!!!

Awesome. Easy to use

Fail. It detects my shared PC folder but when I click on that folder I get the message “failed” with no other explanation.

One suggestion. Enjoying the app, however I think many manga readers would love the option of being able to flip the page order so pages that comics pages can be flipped from right to left rather than the western default of left to right.

Why can’t we link our google drive accounts. Why can’t I link my google drive account?

Missing Comics. The app no longer shows all of my comics in one of my folders, even though all of them are in .cbr format, and have shown up in the past. I’m connected through my Dropbox account as no other cloud service seems to function at all. Also, this app has not been updated in over three years. I contacted the developer almost two months ago, and have yet to hear back. As such, I’m reporting this app to Apple as abandonware. I own the pro version of this app. I recommend that others avoid paying to unlock this app unless the developer updates it accordingly.

Deceptive and expensive.. Got annoyed by the ads and bought the pro version, only to find out that you have to pay more for ADDITIONAL FORMATS... Can't open a simple pdf without paying more than I already did for the pro version. What a scam. Delete this app and save yourself the headache.

Just works.. This app just does what it says it will do. Enough said😃

Nice reader. Extremely easy to use, not a lot of guesswork. Only complaint is I cant find a way to seamlessly transition from one comic to the next.

Just needed to download and read comics online. This app’s download browser and file manager combo is perfect for downloading and reading comics straight from the internet.

Constant pop up ads -DELETE. Maybe I would have upgraded to premium had you given me a chance to experience this app without CONSTANTLY interrupting my reading with obnoxious pop up ads. Instead I’ve deleted this app and will seek out another. I’m not opposed to paying for quality apps, but you don’t get my money using such tactics.

Can’t figure it out. Can’t figure out how to save comic after transfer from other book reader...when you try to figure it out a freaking ad pops up and you got to wait about5 or so seconds. TOO frustrating...gave up.

Adds stink. Great app overall except for the adds. Willing to pay to remove just the adds, but I do not wish to purchase the full version for $5.99. They should add an in-app-purchase to only remove adds. Not worth buying the pro version.

Solid Comic Reader. Bookman was my favorites comic reader on iOS forever until it was no longer supported. This one isn’t quite as good, but it’s a close. Layout and options are pretty basic, but it works. It’s worth it to pay the premium fee and it’s a one time payment.

Recent purchase but now crashing.. Recent purchase, but now after less than a week the app continues to crash on start up. Over a year since a new update release. Could probably stand some optimization and bug squashing on Comic Reader with apple updating their OS recently. While it was working. Don’t mind the price point, app works and does the things I want it to. Just needs some tending to. Where are the developers?

Very good app, Until it started crashing. i’ve been using this app to read comics for a while and then i updated my ipad and now it crashes whenever i try to extract a comic book file

Awesome comic book reader. I Purchased Digital comic books on eBay on a Mega iCloud (free 50g Service) That all the comic book are stored works great with comic book reader because you can share a copy to comic book reader app.

Very good. Wouldn’t recommend for a phone. The lay out is much better on a tablet/iPad. Other than that the app is wonderful.

Good but expensive. When it’s free there are to many ads. I don’t like having to buy the ability to read other formats plus the add free version.

So far, so good.. Just started using this app. It seems to work well. It also opens some *.cbr files that my last reader wouldn’t. This may well be a five-star app. I’ll know better after I’ve used it for a while.

Great features. I have used almost every comic reader app in the store, and this is the best so far. The ease of loading files, and more importantly organizing them is head and shoulders above the competition.

To much money. The add is very annoying I enjoy it free but I am not going to spend 6 dollars on this app to read my comics. It is good it allows me to read a lot but as soon as you press on anything it will remind you, you are using a trial which was not stated in the app description. Other than that I enjoy it

Network drives do not work. I like the concept, but I could not access the comics on my networked drive. If that works, it would have been a perfect solution for me. I just get an error trying to access the subdirectory.

Too many ads. If this app would have let me make it through a single book without the incessant ads and popups, I might have considered purchasing it. Instead, I'll now give all the other comic reader apps a go.

Quite Solid. Overall this is very good and has replaced another app that wasn't as good. I have only minor issues: - When moving to a new page, if you were at the bottom of the current page you end up at the bottom of the new page and have to scroll up to the top. - The OneDrive interface is slow and usually doesn't remember what folder I am in. Would be great to add a folder to the main screen. - Files will occasionally download from OneDrive incorrectly and show as corrupted. - Managing cached data could be better, I've occasionally had a bad download and had to clear the entire cache to fix it, would be good if I could remove specific files from the cache. Despite these issues, it does its job well and opens just about anything I've thrown at it.

Works. Unlike iComics it loads pages instantly. Pro version is 3x the price of iComics but at least reading a comic isn’t frustrating

Ads. App itself works without much issue. Only complaint are the ads that pop up every 2 or 3 taps on the screen; most which are complete accident.

Slow, Balky and Unstable. I tried using this on my iPad and it was very slow. Then it wanted to keep going to Facebook for some reason. Uninstalling.

Your first review.... Can I just say, while I understand that developers need to be paid, what you have done with advertising in your app is just atrocious. Nag screens every time I click on something. $4.99 to make that go away? You are dreaming! And then it's onto the google ads. These things take up 1/3rd the page. Are they designed to be accidentally hit to give you click through bonus? It sure seems like it. My recommendation is that people avoid this app like the plague. Just for the nag screen alone. The "pay now or else" message that comes up seems a little jarring, as is the price. I think I'll just go back to using the reader app. It works a lot better. Uninstalling and keeping my $5...

Great but.... It's a pretty good app. It does what it supposed to do. One thing that would be better is if we can select multiple files at once to download while using OneDrive

Mad app. Cool app..... wish there was a direct copy and paste function because i tried to copy some downloaded comics from my iPhone’s files app. Also would like a change of colour to a more vibrant comic colour like the windows cover-comic reader app.

Too many pop ups asking to upgrade... Every action you perform the app suddenly asks to upgrade and then an advertisement pops up. Only used it for 15 minutes before it became too much of a pain

Good app, just one tiny thing.... This app is great, except sometimes when I’m just scrolling, the app registers it as a tap which open the menu in the centre of the screen, which takes me out of the comic.

Mostly Great. I’m really enjoying this app, since it seems to do a good job at displaying my comics. The only problems I’ve encountered have to do with file organization. Two nice features are the ability to create bookmarks within your comics (great for finding individual chapters in TPBs), and being able to create folders for your comics (very handy for separating different comic series, especially if the issues are all labeled as numbers only). But I can’t seem to figure out a) how to label bookmarks, and b) how to move files into the created folders. I may be missing something obvious, but it would be nice if there was either a more obvious way of doing it, or institutions available as to how it works. But other than that, I’ve really been enjoying this app, which has been great for reading comics on my phone. Would definitely recommend!

Almost. It was almost good, but I'm not paying for something that barely works the unstated "trial" ver. But this is the first app to put my comics in the right order. Very odd interface.

Adds galore.. Has cloud connection so you can pull stuff out of your Dropbox but adds every min or so. Super annoying. Either Google adds or requests to upgrade to pro every page turn....

Really good. Relatively easy to use. Could use a bit more user friendliness. Documents should just be displayed when opened. That's what we have it for.

Too many ads.. I understand that this is a free app and that it provides a wonderful service, but I can't go two pages without an ad. I think that's way too much.

Good. Good but to many ads

Free but not worth it. This is a free app. That being said the design of it is very buggy. Switching from vertical to a horizontal display takes time to load. A feature i dont find in three other apps designed specifically for cbr, cbz readers. The touch screen controls are far too sensitive and can lag depending on the frequency of use. Really the only positive is the brightness or backlighting option in the app. Even with my tablets screen brightness turned down to nothing, the text (and panels) are still clear.

Overwhelmed with ads. Functional and easy to use, however the ads are a non-stop assault that becomes annoying rather quickly. Uninstalled within a couple of hours of the initial download.

Life saver. I thought this was only something I could do on Android but now I know i can read my CBR flies on iPhone! I’d like the ability to double tap to zoom but understand the menu pops up instead. Great app nonetheless!

Please offer reverse direction reading for manga!. This is a quality app. Unfortunately it doesn't support reading in reverse order for Japanese manga. Otherwise a great app.

Unusable. This viewer is unusable. Not only were the ads bothersome, anytime I would try to read a comic it would crash.

Works great.... Works great it reads the .cbz and .cbr comics I imported in through iTunes. Text is clear and the interface is good. Only thing I dislike is that it asks you to upgrade to the paid version WAY TOO OFTEN. I encounter it every time I open the app, as well as a few times while using it. Please change the interval at which is asks for upgrade, or even better, don't ask at all. The option is there in settings if I choose to upgrade...

Good app, bad ads.. If you're going to use this app, prepare yourself for a pop up about upgrading it by every move that you do and a 5 seconds ad after that. If that's not bad enough you also get one in the bottom of the screen. The app itself is pretty good - ads are unbearable hence the score. Sorry.

From a high school student 5 stars!. Hi I used comiXology for a while and I realized amazon is a company that very well could go under, I also hated the UI. After this app I can back up everything in a nice format, it’s great get it now!
