Great app!. I wish I had purchased the cross-platform access package as opposed to the single device access package because I ended up paying for the single-use three separate times for three separate devices. The app runs great on my 2018 iPad Pro, my 2014 MacBook Pro and XS Max. It “runs” on my 2009 iMac but is pretty clunky and slow so I avoid using it there. That machine has 6 Gb of ram so I think it may just be the older processor. Anyways, this is an absolutely wonderful app with great functionality and design. I love how you can add/remove “layers” of the various body systems (e.g., integumentary, muscular, skeletal, respiratory/vascular, etc.) and also choose to have one item (e.g., a bone or a vessel) highlighted while fading or fully hiding the surrounding structures so that you can get a better view. There’s information about each structure and all the major landmarks are identified. There’s even the feature of pronunciation for a given structure!! Very cool imo. Very well thought out and implemented. My applause and appreciation to 3D 4 Medical!

Rduggan99. REVISED REVIEW: I am a health care professional. This used to be a good app but certain videos don’t run, and the anatomy models have taken a turn for the worse. They have no phone support unlike Visible Body, their competitor who does. When they did have phone support they didn’t return my phone calls. They keep wanting to make changes to the app to make it better but what is happening is that it crashes more and is less responsive. They don’t seem to know how to leave well enough alone. And the final straw is that they are now a part of a big conglomerate called Elsevier, a loser company that I remember from nursing school. UPDATE and/or addition to previous comment. Just got the 2023 version and they butchered it. Videos/Courses don’t work (play) so save your money till they get it right. Every time they do an update things go south. Very frustrating!!j UPDATE: Well I did call customer no-service and also sent emails about certain course videos that continue not to work. Check my emails and see that there has been NO RESPONSE. You don’t care one bit about your paying customers and you know it. You just don’t like bad reviews so you’re kinda forced to answer.

Very good app, some mistakes included. I downloaded this app three day ago and tried 3 days for free. I took my ipad with me to the anatomy lecture to see if it can help. And It did help me a lot. We had a test at the end of the lecture and I wouldn’t solve it if I didn’t have this app. And that what made me think to subscribe to it, even though I hate subscription. But there were some mistakes in the nervous system. As we took in Anatomy lecture, A branch of ulnar nerve should pass through the pisohamate ligament, but in the app it was above it. Idk if this is a bug or intentional. Idk if there are other mistakes in nervous system or other systems because We are not that far into anatomy yet. I hope they revise the app to fix the bugs or mistakes found in it. The app doesn’t show the name of joints like elbow joint, carpometacarpal joint, shoulder joint,...et. I wish there was a layer for body joints. I know they are easy, but that would help beginner in anatomy like me. Thank you.

Keyboard support. I really love this app and o had no problem to pay the subscription especially for my education in college of medicine but since i own the magic keyboard it has been very annoying to use because they don’t support the magic keyboard, adding the magic keyboard support will help the keyboard users to interact with the keyboard and not taking the iPad on and off the keyboard all the time it can get very annoying

Great App…but…. I have to say that I love this app. I have the full version on my iPhone and on my Windows PC. The models are functional and I refer to them often. My only issue is that a one-time purchase of the license is no longer available, as I don’t really need the quizzes etc. that come with the subscriptions. If they could return to the previous model with the subscriptions as well as the one-time offer I wouldn’t be able to recommend the app enough!

Fantastic for even the base version.. However, certain things could use some renovation. Certain images are lower than normal quality but mostly good. Also was really disappointed that the option to see the specific muscles in action was only a video and non interactive ): I will be buying the upgrade though!

Fantastic; Great time saver. It’s by no means a necessity for medical school, but it’s very useful in terms of saving time. Often times skips having to search through a textbook (digital or not) for a chart or diagram in order to locate anatomy; in 15 seconds i can pull up the model, find the specific portion of the anatomy, see what i want to see, and boom, done. I thought I wouldn’t use it much past the A&P courses but I find myself referencing it for nearly every course. Yes, anatomy varies from person to person, but for learning purposes this app is 5/5.

Best app for medical students. Complete Anatomy is the one stop shop for any medical student or student in allied health fields, who is searching for an all-inclusive anatomy app. Not only does this app have a detailed atlas of anatomy of every single organ system, but it also has amazing functions that argument one’s learning, like the ability to sections through tissues, animate the motions specific muscles, and specifically track nerves along complex pathways. This app also has included courses that are in-app purchases, but are very worthwhile when studying, and you know that your lecture material from school isn’t helpful. The lectures included in the app definitely guide you along structures and functions you need to know for specific area. The app is also a great way for health professionals to promote patient education about symptoms they might be experiencing or their conditions. One can simply pull out the app and demonstrate to patient why they are feeling pain in the neck or joints by animating the motion of those muscles and showing where the problem may be!

Very intuitive, easy to use and master. Highly recommend this tool/platform. Can’t say enough about how in-depth this application goes. Lots of perks, varying by level of subscription, yet arguably the most useful tool is the basic (in all sub. types) 3D interactive model, allowing separate or stacked viewing of all anatomical systems. Worth the money...! I was hesitant at first, but once I was able to access the courses and additional info, models, sources, and tools, I was convinced this tool is something I will use a lot. (It has been useful in personal training: I’ve been using the models, tools, and explanatory videos in the library to help my clients and myself understand and explain to each other.) Overall, great service on offer!!!

Looking for More. I’m a pre-Med student, and I really love the design of this app. The realism is amazing and the details and easy of function is delightful. In deciding which app to purchase for an anatomy and physiology study and exploration tool I came across complete anatomy because it was very attractive and the free trial truly gave me a sense of need for the app. I would love for the app to sky rocket in improvements and updates, and I really hope we can surpass the features found in some of the other options offered for 3D Anatomy and Physiology platforms. My biggest anticipation is hopefully a feature to take complete cross section of the model to be able to compare to cadaver and CT scans as seen in Human Anatomy Atlas. I would also love for the ability to search content as well. Also more pathology, clinical and physiology related material would take this app to a whole new level and I would be extremely thrilled to find that in future updates! Keep up the greatness Complete Anatomy!

Downloadable content. I’ve been using this app since it was released following the announcement at an apple event and I have recommended it to a lot of my classmates and a few of my superiors. I can not state how useful it has been in understanding different parts of the body. I do however wish I could download content that I have purchased separately (video content). I always have to have WiFi to stream the content and if we are in the hospital for long hours with no access to the hospital WiFi for security reasons, I would like to access the content when I get a few hours to myself through the day.

Has been a great resource throughout the years. I have used this company’s apps since their conception way back when I was in high school almost 10 years ago. They have helped me out a lot throughout the years. I do wish the iPad app would work with my Magic Mouse 2 now that it is supported on almost all my other apps. I also miss the quizzes I could create on previous versions. With that being said when my student subscription ends it will be the end of my journey with this app for me. The subscription model may be worth it for some just starting their anatomical studies but for me it is not worth a yearly payment. If the app offers a 1 time purchase perhaps I will reconsider re-downloading the application again as a reference. If you are a college student or even in a graduate program such at PT or OT this app is worth the subscription while you’re in school.

Fantastic with one annoyance. The best 3D atlas. Beautifully designed, highly functional. Only quip is that after leaving the app to multitask with other apps (leaving 3D Anatomy up and running in the background), the 3D Anatomy app resets very quickly, causing you to lose your previous session. Most of the time reopening the app will cause a prompt to allow you to resume your previous session but this doesn’t always happen – making it annoying for you to rebuild your last session from scratch.

Debating. I really like the idea of this app, where you can look at different structures and pay close attention to nearly every little thing in the body. However I really hate that every app you turn to instead of giving you the option to flat out buy the content, requires you to pay a subscription. I would much rather pay $100 or $200 for an app such as this one as opposed to slyly paying the company $35 for one year, $75 the next, and so on. It feels tacky, and most of all, it will end up costing the user much more than if they had simply bought the license offered previously. My guess is that the thinly veiled disguise of “versatility” given by the developers is no more than an excuse to grab as much cash from the pockets of desperate college students. I will search for different applications that give you the option to purchase their product, as opposed to merely renting it. It’s a shame, I really did love this app...

Phenomenal. I purchased this app after using, and being impressed by, the older 3D4 skeletal and muscle system apps. I am blown away at how useful this thing is. I am not a doctor; my official account status is “Enthusiast”. I have found this extremely useful for consultation with my physician; I can go into a system and see what the doctor is actually talking about and have a base understanding of the nomenclature. When my doctor saw it, she freaked out; she said they don’t have anything this good. It has increased my understanding of body systems immeasurably. Also, I work and travel to rural China regularly, where health care, by any Western standard, is nonexistent. I can keep tabs on myself to understand if there is anything I need to go to a city to deal with. Additionally, customer support is excellent. I had a couple issues, they were handled within 24 hours with emails that were written by actual humans that understood what I was asking and provided immediate answers and solutions. Jonathan and Nicole were both extremely helpful. If you’re on the fence about which anatomy app to purchase, this is the one for the time being.

Needs significant improvement with the pen feature. Taking notes on the screen with the pen feature is horrible. The majority of your marks don't show up and it lacks any semblance of fluidity. There is A LOT of delay if your writing shows up at all!!! It would benefit having an eraser tool as well with the pen feature by using a simple tap of the apple pencil to toggle between pen and eraser. Also, a white pen option would be of great benefit since the background is black.. A highlighter tool would be very beneficial - especially for highlighting things in the information boxes. Despite this flaw, the graphics and details are top-knotch.

Great app. I think it’s an awesome tool. The app however keeps crashing on me, I have no idea why. I also wish that once in isolation mode you could have the option to add more systems to the isolated structure. The tags also have a few glitches but overall this app has great potential. Update: the app support contacted me and were able to fix the issue with the app crashing. I haven’t had any problems the app since. Highly recommend the app

Artist’s Review. This app is a great tool for artists since anatomy is one of the essential things we need to learn. Though I did see another review from a fellow artist that said you guys should consider making a plan for artists and I definitely agree. As stated in that other review, we know this is aimed at med students but a stripped down version of the app would be amazing for artists. We really only need the features for the skeletal, muscular, and integumentary systems for out work. As for things you could possibly add to the functions of the app itself; 1. Minor but would be very useful - Being able to highlight multi selected areas in different colors. It’ll help us see and differentiate muscles easier. 2. Major - being able to see muscles in twists such as lower arm when you are twisting your wrist Other than those, I think the app is perfect for what I need.

No better reasonably priced anatomy app. I’ve used several anatomy software programs and apps over the past 7-10 years. This is by far the most useful for teaching musculoskeletal education for an inexpensive price. It goes way beyond musculoskeletal, so I get educated myself while I’m teaching too. Individual muscles completely with information about each makes education great. However, there’s one way where other apps have better usefulness is the language. I need Chinese often and there’s only one choice for that and it’s not this one.

Best app, unnecessary features…. Best app for getting to know the anatomy! However, I am not sure why they wasted resources to have models with different skin colors/facial features when almost everyone starts off with the skeleton model. I feel like they could have spent the time/money in a better direction. But hey, it’s your company.

Great app. I used this app for a few years and can confidently say that it’s a great app for learning human anatomy. Yes, sometimes there were issues, but a simple rebooting fixed it. Whenever I had to continue support, I received prompt response. The only reason I cancelled my subscription was the $99 price (one time, not annual), which is not expensive but out of my budget at this time. I will be back soon. Thank you for the great work

It’s not a subscription (revised). I bought this app through the App Store for about $50 a year ago. The program worked well and was a useful resource until an update appeared in my iPad about a month ago offering the beginnings of the female model. After updating I was surprised that the app now only has VERY limited functionality. The program is holding me hostage until I “Upgrade” for another $50! No where did this program say it is an annual subscription when I initially bought it. Why do I have to pay again?? I emailed the app maker and of course there was no response to my request for help. There is no way to restore my previous, full-function app. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN. Boycott this app until your purchase is actually honored! It is unfortunate that I will remove it from my iPad and tell every medical professional I know in the Denver Colorado area to STAY AWAY.... UPDATE: Nicola at 3D4 contacted me with new information and assistance. It turns out I created the problem by (last year) cancelling my email service with gmail. This orphaned my account because I failed to update to my new email address with 3D4Medical. Nicola swapped my email accounts and my app works properly now. I apologize for concluding the app had turned into a subscription service (as others have...). Thankfully I received excellent support and rescind the scathing comments I made in haste above. I enjoy and value the app.

I love this app, and have a challenge!. I love this app and am happy to have used it for quite a while. The video taking feature is incredible, the movement is sleek, and the resources are informative and insightful. I’m in love, but now I have a challenge for the development team. I’m hoping that the devs can create a function where you can increase the body fat percentage of the model. Some of us use this app for explaining movement and modalities of fitness, and being able to have a size-adjustable model is helpful. First app to make this happen gets all my cash! :)

Help! help!. Old version of IOS(v.10) on older IPad(ipad air 2). It's the complete anatomy 2019 version. I havern't used it for a long time. Now that I try to use it, I have a problem. It's a functional restriction. Before that, all the functions were available. So I checked and found out that I weren't logged in. Every time I try to log in, Alert message "Oops! We can't find what you are looking for. Check your internet connection and try again.. " But the wi-fi connection is good. So the internet works fine. Currently, I can't log in and I cannot be used properly due to functional limitations. And I cannot used purchased lecture. What should I do ?

Great for learning anatomy, crashes often. I love this app. It has made the biggest difference in orienting myself to structures and structure relations in clinical anatomy. I especially love being able to build neurovasculature pathways. Also, the function that demonstrates muscle actions is great for PT students. My only issue is that every time I use it on my iPad, the app will freeze or crash and I have to reopen the app, enough times throughout the day that it becomes frustrating. Every time this happens, I have to restore my progress and often lose structures I have already added and thus need to re-add them. This app would be perfection if this didn’t happen!

Almost there.... When it's not crashing, it's a fantastic app. Obviously, there's a huge need for a female model, but I understand that's coming. Prior to that, the developers need to fix the constant crashing. The auto-save doesn't work frequently enough to make a real difference after a crash- when I restore my previous session, I usually have only about 50% of my work. You're almost there-- with the crash fixes and a female model, this will be an outstanding app.

A subscription now?!. This used to be a one time purchase, but now it’s an annual subscription. $100 a year? It is not worth $100 a year! Your responds shows you only want a recurring paycheck from me without much new in return. Thankfully, there are other anatomy apps that are just as good, if not better and I only pay once and get updates for life. This business model you have adopted will end up biting you in the end. Many other companies have done this, and it was disastrous, both for the company and for the poor souls that fell into the subscription trap. So I paid my $100 to another developer and got the same functionality I would have paid you $100 for ... one time. Thankfully I was able to find another app to fill my needs for an Anatomy app. I guess you didn’t need the money.

Disappointed. I have used Complete Anatomy for several years and it has been my favorite app for referencing anatomy in school and in the clinic! I recently started my first year as a DPT student and was looking forward to using this app on an iPad Pro I had purchased for school, but I no longer have access to the content I paid for several years ago. I am prompted to enroll in the company's subscription model. Since I paid for an individual license years ago (a fairly large sum), I expected to be able to continue using this application. Please help me with this issue, I have loved this app but I cannot justify enrolling in a subscription model when I have already purchased the app!

Great App but $75 a year for a STUDENT??. I’m probably going to give premium a try for the first year of PT school since I found it to have so many ways to look at and understand the body. However, I think it is absolutely ridiculous that even a one time purchase of $75 for an APP is not suitable. Come on guys, you’re already getting millions from the textbooks you sell every year, stop being greedy. If I chose to keep this app, it would equate to an amazing $300 reference that will have to go up in flames when I graduate because I will not pay $100/year for an app, nor will most people with a brain.

Nearly perfect. This has helped so much when studying anatomy, and is honestly perfect for medical students. The only complaint I have is that when switching between back and forth between apps as I tend to do when studying and taking notes, the app has a tendency of crashing and starting over. Kinda annoying when you have to reorient the body and remove the parts you don’t need. Would HIGHLY recomend, but would love if the developers could fix this problem,

Needs a little bit more( edit). I love this app. Its accuracy and features are absolutely amazing. The models are breathtaking and i love the the small details. I would like a dictionary for all structures and a child model. Since children have some differences. I would also like more animations such as breathing and some edits on the tools/ more of them. And some structures are missing such as the auditorial cortex, and the medulla. Basically i want the brain improved a bit.

Bad Brain. This app is almost perfect, but I had one problem with it, two problems actually: the first is that the courses they give are not very informative, and second is that once you get to anatomy of the brain things get really bad. You see, the brain is well made, but there aren’t so many detail. Every time I search for something like the pontine nuclei, or the corona radiata, and other similar structures, I can’t find it; and this is making me frustrated.

Fantastic, Easy to use, great for teaching. Words can’t express how grateful I am to the exquisitely detailed drawings, and tool, that allow cutaways, zoom, and the full 360 degree rotation of views. Terrific for the newcomer to anatomy, and unrivaled for the experienced health care provider, student, teachers, physical therapists, chiropractors, and the list goes on. I teach childbirth and sex education from the cells outward..system by system.. You have made my job infinitely easier, and I no longer have to rely on my own funky diagrams, slide shows cobbled together, and my haphazard whiteboard drawings. Bravo!!! This is outstanding! Only caveat..... default state to male setting is lame, and 19th century. One should be able to choose at the start of current use, which gender one wants. That is a minor fix, and I am sure it will come soon.

I’m a product designer….and this is what a user would need:. Amazing app. However, text description size is so small, it hurts me eyes to read it. I wish I could change the size of the description. Otherwise fantastic app with amazing information and easy to navigate. Also in the description box, the names of parts should be clickable. So I can click it and see how the part connects to my current selected part. That would really help me to understand how the different parts connect. Also the rotate or view controls for me are so finicky…it moves when I don’t want it to.

Great program...but. I put the following review up weeks ago. I’ve changed my review from 4 stars to 2 since the company is clearly too busy to address paying customers concerns related to functionality. “Regarding functionality, there is nothing else on the market which is comparable. You’ve made a truly great program. The only downside is that we are on what...iOS 12 now, the iPad’s split screen functionality has been around since iOS 11. Having to move back and forth between screens is cumbersome, especially when you have to wait for the app to reset and reboot after being off of it for some time. I want to be able to view origin, insertion, action, and innervation pdf tables in parallel with the app. Then look up what I need to using the app (all on one screen). Now to save time, I find myself using two devices at once since the app isn’t coded for a split screen. I find myself using the program less out of sheer frustration.”

Unscrupulous developer. I bought this as a one time purchase of about $80 a few years ago, knowing that you needed a subscription to get access to cross sectional anatomy. I was satisfied with system based anatomy layers for my professional purposes. One day, I opened it up, and it had reverted to the unpaid version. There was no option to restore my purchase. I contacted customer service, and they informed me that they converted to a subscription based service only, and rescinded all access to the app for me and others like me unless we wanted to buy a subscription. No warning. No apology. No offer to apply my prior purchase towards a subscription. They just took my money and told me to deal with it. It was a nice app, but if they are this cavalier with their customer’s purchases (which are substantial by App Store standards), I can’t bring myself to trust them with any more money. Think hard before you fork it over. If you buy a paper anatomy textbook, you’ll own it forever. If you buy from these clowns, they will obliterate your purchase on a whim under the auspices of “updating content.” So ridiculous.

outstanding, please fix one thing. I finished med school in 2014 and it’s startling to me that we’ve gone from paging through an anatomy atlas to this incredible interactive resource in that short time. I don’t think it’s a reach to call it game changing. I’m glad to have it now and wish it were around back in the “dark ages” (2009) when I was learning anatomy. OK, having said that, I managed to find something to complain about: I really enjoy using the ipad pro with the magic keyboard and the app does not integrate well with the keyboard. can’t click on items with the trackpad and manipulating images with it is buggy. not sure if an update of the keyboard (from apple) or from the app itself is needed but a solution would be greatly appreciated as using the keyboard which works very well with other apps I use spares the beautiful images in the app (and screen) from my grimey fingers. Thanks!

Very helpful app (review revised). I use this app for medical school and find it very helpful and detailed. I used to have issues with it restarting constantly but that has been fixed in a recent update. I highly recommend this app! Original review (no longer relevant): This app is very helpful for medical school! But every time I reopen the app just a few minutes after using it, it keeps restarting. Please fix RAM management so it stays in the system memory for longer! For reference I am on an iPad Pro 2018 on iPadOS 14.2.

Keeps Freezing. About two weeks ago the app began to not register when i try to click off of a structure to select a new one or try to rotate the model. It worked fine up to a few weeks ago, now the app has become difficult to manage and requires constant shut down to view structures properly. I am still able to zoom in and out and use some of the other buttons, just the new selection and rotation are affected. Please fix this issue, otherwise great content.

Free Skeleton, Not Much Else. The app provides detailed models for most of the systems of the body, which is great for a med student or even a doctor. This is much better in comparison to having to have either it drawn on paper or needing to have physical models since it is both easy to take with you and is in 3D so you can see how it would really look. The only problems being that it costs quite a bit to gain access to all parts, and is quite the large app (1.3 gigabytes). Otherwise it’s pretty great all around and has been made by people who know what they are talking about.

Great app, could be phenomenal. A few technical details that I think could be improved: 1) You need trackpad support. It’s been out for over a year now and you have compatibility for trackpads/mice with your other devices. 2) Object selection (when you tap on something) could pop open its window faster. Essential Anatomy was quick as a whistle, this app’s windows lag to load which can be annoying when you’re in a crunch.

Needs more X-rey/CT-Scan sections like abdomen. Also it needs more detailed features of other organs like: middle ear and tympanic membrane also for nose concha and meatus also for tongue, mouth, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, voice box these things really really needs detailed models in addition maybe a tool to cut the whole body at once without cutting one part at a time. Overall the app is so great and i am going to subscribe again every year till i finish medical school cause it helped me a lot, thank you😊

Not purchasing. Personally I understand that money needs to be made somewhere in order for this app to even be here• however, I think it is unfair and completely disturbing that in order for an uneducated person to become educated that they need to pay for it. Especially if they cannot afford it. Setting people up from the very beginning. Born to work and die. Only the rich can live a full and extravagant life. If you’re not rich, you’re in survival mode doing anything possible to stay afloat. Very sad because I was very excited to get this app so I could teach myself something I was never taught in school. disappointed:(

Foreclosing. This app was great, I repeat was. It functioned very well when I first got it. Fast forward two weeks and I realize I really enjoy this app, so I decided to buy the anatomy one pack for 10 dollars and the ultrasound pack for another 7 dollars. Soon there after the app kept foreclosing every time I would watch the videos! I can't watch anything, sadly it seems I wasted 17 dollars on an app that doesn't even function properly. I love anatomy and if this app did work properly i would give it 5 stars and most likely sign up for the membership, but like I said the app doesn't work and it's a real shame because the makers did a great job with all the details but it's pointless if the app always forecloses. If this can be fixed I will defiantly will change the review and rating but until then the app is basically useless:/

Finally!. I have searched everywhere for an app for anatomy that does what I need it to do. This one does it all. Add or remove layers, rotate pan and zoom, also allows me to add fractures and calcifications for student and teaching. It also is compatible with family share, so I am able to draw on my iPad with the Apple Pencil because I am not so good at drawing using the touch pad on my Mac. Absolutely love this app so far.

Great Buy for Grad School. Currently in Chiropractic School and didn’t want a 150 dollar book so I tried this. I deducted one star cuz there was maybe a few times I couldn’t find what I wanted but a quick google search helped. Even if I had to run to the library for a book for a few things this helped me save so much time overall. The ability to go back and forth between things helps you see how it all fits together. Once again, great buy overall.

BEST ANATOMY APP FOR DOCS/STUDENTS. I am an Internal Medicine Doc and I have been using this app for years. I strongly recommend it for educating patients. With the new atlas feature, and the radiology interface that is integrated into it, make it a must have for learning, reviewing and educating others. I have tried them ALL, and this is the best by far. I wish it did not cost so much for students, but they are obviously reinvesting profits because it just keeps getting better.

Great so far. I love all the stuff it provides to help me better understand anatomy and physiology and has a lot of cool features as well. I have yet to experience the lectures but it would be nice if it wasn’t an in app purchase. The app was doing fine until it crashes and classes are starting soon and I’m hoping this crashing issue will be fixed before too long.

amazing app; could use an update/license option for artists. i'm not a medical student nor do i intend to be, but i AM an artist. this app is incredibly useful but it is expensive; for good reason, but i think there should be a license for artists specifically (to have access to the models and breakdowns of the models specifically; the videos primarily and things meant to go in huge detail are pretty unneccessary for the purposes i use the app for). plus maybe some 'model' modes for artists? idk, i'll definitely keep using the app, but i think that having professional artists come in and help design a license option for other artists would be good. this app is by FAR the bets app i've found for in depth explanations of the human anatomy (side note: additional animations for muscles would also be amazing!! i love this app and i am aware its meant for the medical industry, but it can definitely stay like that and have features for artists as well) all the devs are doing amazing and i definitely would reccommend this app if i knew any medical students personally LOL

Purchase. I loved this app, but as I took a break from my iPad for a while and returned to the app, I could no longer have access to the full version! I could have sworn I bought it, and I know for a fact I used it on this device, as I showed my friends because I absolutely adored this app. Perhaps I instead downloaded a trial? But everything I had is now gone. Edit: I updated the app and found all of my stuff has returned. Thank god <3 I love this app. They added a female pelvis, but I truly hope that a female model will come soon. The male body should not be the default. On a side note, my device keeps insisting I restore my purchase, it does it successfully, then I have access, but it goes out and then I have to restore again. At the moment, it keeps saying it restored but hasn't given my models and app back. I currently cannot use the app because of this. Every part of the female pelvis refers back to what that is to the male anatomy, but the male anatomy does not do the same. The male body is displayed as the default, and the rest of the female anatomy is not even available outside of the pelvis. This is lacking and incompetent for an app on human anatomy. And during the search, male-specific parts do not have a male symbol, but female parts do. Please fix the glitch, add a female model, rephrase sections to be more professional and competent, and organize the sex-specific organs so that I might actually be able to learn properly from this app.

Great app, full of potentials and smart move to abolish subscription based model. I downloaded this app months ago but the ridiculous annual subscription price tag put me off. Now it offers one-off purchase - a reasonable price for medical students and other professionals. I already owned the essential anatomy back to the days when I was a 1st year med student. I love the app but I got lost of the big picture when only focusing on the details of single muscle or bone. One feature I wanted to have is to have labels listed for certain orientations, which becomes a reality in complete anatomy. And it gets even better, with the sharing feature available, users from various background and experience can now publish card on their own to educate others. There are minor things that need improving. The app crashes sometimes and occasionally becomes unresponsive. Overall, I have a very positive experience. In the future, if pathologies and more clinical relevant stuff could be added, it would be perfect. For example, if spaces like obturator foramen could be highlighted and obturator hernia could be added to the description. Thanks for this awesome work.

Cannot even launch. An “oops. Something went wrong” message appeared following update. Reinstalling did not resolve the problem.

Love love love. Totally worth it🥰🥰🥰🥰

Best anatomy app yet. Best anatomy app, allows you to see the movements of each muscle and where each nerve goes. 10/10

Cerebellum is largely inaccurate. Could you guys add more neuroanatomy content?

Awesome app. This is the best anatomy app I have ever come across, works flawlessly and adds so much to my knowledge of human anatomy. The way we can see motion of muscles and so many other features are unmatchable. I am hooked to it since I bought it and studying anatomy is way more satisfying now 😃. Great efforts 3D 4 Medical team 👍🏻, keep on enlightening us with more updates and additions , all the best😊.

Better than textbooks. Definitely worth the money, amazing app. There are a few tiny ligaments and veins missing though, but besides that, 10/10

Worth every cent 👏🏽🙏🏽👌🏽. This is an amazing app the detail is incredible and it's so in depth, every single part of the body can be discovered and scrutinised to the tenth degree, it's awesome how every part of the body can be manipulated to view every possible angle and cross section, information is provided about every organ, vain, muscle, bone etc so the knowledge that can be gained is endless and I have only just downloaded it :) I know it's going to help me tremendously with my studies in medicine, not only will it be an invaluable anatomy app the possibilities are countless in the medical field and in teaching and learning medicine.

Thanks!. This is amazing! Even though I really want to learn about the human body, the text books are incredibly intimidating to me... However this just blows my mind, with its courses as well it’s virtual reality figures! This allows me to learn more of the human body; as well the cells. Thank you!

Used to have one off payment plan but it no longer exist. I purchased the student plan on 2019 for studying purpose because it allows me to login from tablets and phone. However I noticed that there were a one off payment plan (like you are only allowed to use this app with one device but it is no need for annual subscription) but it no longer available after the updates. Although I am no longer studying anatomy at uni, I do like to review the knowledge sometimes and willing to pay for the basic anatomy features. As I don’t need the other features like videos or quiz, it is too expensive and no point for me to get the annual subscription. It is pity that you guys are only providing the options for annual subscription now.

Excellent for study and clinic. This is the ultimate all in one anatomy and physiology app you will ever need. Complete control to view from any angle and with great detail. The app will provide correct medical information on each body part, with media, words and so much more. If you're studying a medical/ health science degree then look no further. This app gets me the grades I want because it makes learning so much easier and fun. When I'm in clinic I use it to show clients any relevant information I need to get across. You will not regret buying this.

Crashes. I didn't download a 1 gb app just to watch it crash before it takes me anywhere. Fix the crash, and I can assure, I have much interest in learning about the human body. Another thing you can know is that I am using an iPad Air, so don't ask 'did you read the description?' because I have. FIX THE CRASH.

Outstanding. This is a great app. I really enjoy what it can do and how user-friendly it is. Worth the $80 in my opinion.

Amazing. I'm only an interested layperson but it's incredible this type of thing exists to really understand how we work.

Can no longer use quizzes. Can’t find the quizzes anymore which were a very valuable tool!

Fantastic app for coaches. I’m a triathlon coach and I use this app regularly to understand athlete injuries and help apply strength programs.

Interactive way to learn. Much more interesting than a book, I learn much quicker using this. We are very fortunate such technology exists.

App lags. I’m currently using the iPad Pro( fully updated) and the experience has been disappointing. The app crashes constantly and there’s a certain amount of lag and using the app has been far from enjoyable. There is also trouble loading the content on the app library and attempting to access it causes the app to crash. Nevertheless, the app is exciting to use and is definitely informative.

Amazing. This app is really cool - best anatomy app for the iPad that I've seen. You get the skeleton for free and everything else is in-app purchase, but it's totally worth it (esp. If you're trying to explain anatomy to your kids).

Not working. Courses are not working since the most recent update. Please fix

Please fix. Please i am begging you fix this issue with the app closing down every time i push the home button or open another app! Its not ok! We have to be able to use safari or notes and be able to come back to the screen of this app we were working on! Everything resets back to zero if i exit even for a minute! It's ridiculous!

need split screen mode. The app has almost everything I want in an anatomy app. Just one thing it doesn't have, a split screen mode. I wanna use this app alongside my lecture notes. Please add this feature to the app.

Omg! Still no separate full body female model!. Great app but it’s a bit out of date to only have female chest and pelvis as dismembered body parts rather than part of a full female model. Even in the 2022. A separate full female model has been promised for years!!

Ripped off. Would have loved to review this app, unfortunately I have been unable to restore the purchase! Can’t recommend it on it business acumen!

Great app please add one feature. Great app overall, but please can you add one minor quality of life addition. Please allow us to choose whether one finger pans or rotates the model and vice verse with two fingers. I feel for me, it is much more intuitive to have one finger pan the model and have two fingers to allow rotation and therefore simultaneously zoom in and out. Wouldn’t not take much effort to add this in, but would help me navigate the app so much more easily. Thanks for a great app!!

Camera Navigation Feedback. Hello! What a brilliant and endlessly helpful app you guys have made here. The only issue I am having with it at the moment is the camera rotation. It would be really helpful if there was a feature to rotate the camera around a selected object, instead of the centre of the whole model itself. possibly changing the cameras centre rotation axis to an object that is double tapped could be a good way of integrating this feature as this already centres the camera to the object. A small issue, I know but would further help with ease of use and general navigation and inspection around anatomical structures. Thanks for creating such and amazing app!

Can‘t rotate the model. My finger can drag any tags in the screen, can zoom in and out the model, can move the model from left to the right, but can’s rotate it. This problem happens in my iPad. I am sure this is not my iPad’s issue

Amazing Tool. I bought one for my macbook first. Then, I can’t help buying for my ipad tool. I found that ipad version is much easier even though you get larger images in macbook version. Really reall helpful not only for studying but also for explaining anatomy and diseases to my patients. Highly and strongly recommended

Lay Doctor. Best asset I have for accurate diagnosis.

Great app but very buggy. Whenever I want to make my own quizzes I create the questions but it says they haven’t synced to the cloud and I have to be connected to the internet which I am. This happens on iOS and PC this also happens when I’m either using wifi, mobile data or different wifi connections depending on whether I’m at home school or someone else’s house it’s very frustrating because it’s really limiting the potential of the app for me because the structures and details are great.

Incredibly Useful!. I had just gotten this app and it is endlessly amazing, you can choose what kind of models you want; tongue, eye, full body, skin, etc. It is very detailed and it is packed with knowledge, that is why I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Female model?. This app has been out for a while now and is marketed to medical students and professionals. I think it’s about time we get a full female model considering half of the population is represented by a floating pelvis, thanks...

Goated ay. It’s pretty goated ay

Crashes. Had a go at the free trial and sadly the app kept crashing. It looks good for those moments I got to use it. Maybe my iPad is not powerful enough

Great but waiting for female model. I am a medical student and have the free version of this app. I am already loving the visual representation of the skeleton and connective tissue. I intend to buy the full version very soon! I have one problem that I am eager to see - a female model which is due at the end of this year - please work to release this feature soon! Then this app will be PERFECT!

Brilliant graphics. This is really all you need to learn anatomy and understand how one system links into the others. Love the graphics and interactions

Amazing app !. This app is just amazing, it puts basically all of there previous anatomy apps into one easy to use app with far greater functionality and stunning visuals. The scope of this app is limitless. I am a lecturer and physician of Chinese Medicine, and i believe this app would be precious for any person who works in any area of the health industry. This update is a good step forward, and I am especially pleased with the design decision for the new '+' and '-' toggles to add remove layers 👍🏻 great job and thank you for creating this app. Francesco

Incredible app. I own all the other apps by these guys, and I bought an iPad Pro just to be ale to use this app! (Well... almost). It's quite simply amazing what it can do. Takes a little bit of getting used to after a few hours it's easy.

Really?. While i understand that it is expensive to detail something like this a much better way would be to pay about five bucks for a certain layer and keep it. Whats the point of temporally renting a cheaper model. Textbooks are expensive but not 1000ns and you get to keep them at least.

Beyond amazing. Extreme useful and friendly. Anatomy made clear and simple. The interactivity is amazing. Congratulations to the team who develop this app

It freezes completely. Unable to open, every time it freezes, this appears on the screen: Ooops. “Apologies. Something went wrong, but we’re working on a fix. Please relaunch. I’m due for renewal next month.. if this keeps happening, I have no choice but to cancel my subscription.

Fantastic!. Greatest anatomy app of all time! Would love a portrait mode, though. Far more practical for studying on public transport, and for using whilst carrying around on hospital rounds, etc. (and I find it more comfortable and less awkward in general).

Very good app. Well done

Great app, but why isn't there a female model??????. This app is great and is ideal for medical students 😊 It's super helpful and the 3D really make a difference in learning experience. However, there is no female model. Thus, no female reproductive system either. A bit sexist don't you think? It renders this almost perfect app incomplete. I really hope the female model is coming soon!

Crashes. The app constantly crashes since the last update and is now non functional

Absolutely Invaluable. In writing this review alone, I am procrastinating study for my anatomy exam, but I will say that this has been an incredible tool. Every detail, down to the light shining on the inner wall of the left auricle, is included, and has helped me so much to visualise these bodily structures. I dare say, even more than prac classes where we see the real thing. Best investment I ever made!

The app sounds good, but it has a problem.. I'm basically stuck on the home screen. That's all.

Sports Science PE Student. I am getting great grades in my kinesiology subject at uni and this app is largely responsible. Has given me a way to visualise what's going on in relation to origins and insertions of muscles, bony landmarks and joints. By now being able to visualise these structures if I get stumped on a question in an assessment or exam I can make an educated guess to improve my test scores. Never felt so prepared and confident for assessments through utilising this resource.

Very useful app. As a patient I have found this app very useful to understand procedures and rehab from them. Also helps with exercise. A very professional app, good graphic and animation controls. Well thought out and implemented.

These guys care about their App. The only anatomy app you'll ever need Not to mention the great support team behind it

Hola. Nesecito el free all access version

Too slow fixing reported issues!!. Very VERY slow / lazy development team!! Takes a few hundred emails to acknowledge even most critical problems! So, we paid and bought the license when these guys work from their daddy’s basements and after couple of years, they decide to go subscription. Fine! No problem! But, what happens with those who paid for iOS and iPadOS version?? No way to restore purchases! DELETED!

One of the best!. Although, I am not a medical professional, I am finding this app to be one of the best utilizations of the iPad technology. It is an incredibly powerful tool.

Wasted my money.. Honestly, I regret paying $35 for this app since day one. It’s never worked properly and lags wayyy too much. Now, with the female pelvis update, I can’t use the app at all. It loads to an empty skeleton and that’s it. No settings around, no option to touch anything. I paid $35 for a photo of a skeleton. I’m sure the information it should would’ve been very informative. Had it been a working app.

Almost an iPad app. This is the best anatomy app out there so far - great graphics, tons of detailed info and great tools to work with within the app. I have all versions of this app to run on my Mac, iPhone and iPad since I don’t usually have all my devices at the same time in one location, I find it convenient to have the app on different devices even though I had to pay for each version, but it’s worth it due to the high caliber of the app (well, except the iPad version). Once you’re registered, you can synchronize the app across the different platforms which is another feature I like. The reason why I’m giving this app a “3stars” (for now) is because of the iPad version. I purchased the iPad version after I’ve had the Mac version for a few years, so I was looking forward to the iPad version because I thought that it’d be more convenient to use due to iPad’s ability to rotate. Unfortunately, this app iPad’s version is unable to do what should come naturally with iPad apps - the ability to rotate!! It’s just so awkward and very frustrating not to be able to rotate the model vertically, especially since the model is best observed/studied when displayed vertically, and as a result, I haven’t used the iPad version as much as I’d like to. I’ve been told by the customer service rep that the developers are working to fix this. I’d advise people to wait till they figure out how to fix the rotation problem before purchasing the iPad version. Stick with the iPhone version for now since there seems to be no problem with rotation on that platform. The best feature that I love with the newest upgrade is the AR feature. It’s really fun to use and I prefer to use it on the iPhone because of its ability to rotate. I can’t wait to use it on the iPad once the problem is fixed, hopefully soon, then it’ll deserve the “all stars” rating😉

Not a replacement for a textbook. On a body system level it’s pretty good. But when it comes to organ, tissue, or cellular levels it is nonexistent. I understand that it may be difficult to create an app that goes further in depth, but it would be nice to go a little deeper. For example: the eye. It would be nice to be able to cut the layers of the eye and explore that intricate body part (blood vessels, sclera, choroid, retina, optic disc, fovea centralis, etc.). Instead you are just left with the eye and nothing else to do with it. My point is that it is sufficient for gross A&P but not the fine A&P. At this point it is at best an adjunct for only certain lessons in a textbook. Update: They are starting to add in more detail to certain tissues and structures such as muscle tissue and vascular structures. Locating that information in the app could be made clearer. I am increasing my ratings to reflect the improvements.

Trial. How can I delete all of my information from the app after trial? And does it automatically take money from account after trial?

Can’t connect to purchase. Was looking forward to using this app, the free version is nice, but wanted the full package but when trying to log in I kept getting a bad gateway error, very upsetting. I’ve tried everything from deleting the app to restoring my iPad. Help

It’s a five. Had to redownload before it worked but now it runs smoothly. Impressive features. Understandibly expensive. Would love a one time purchase option.

Female. Where is the female model???

Great anatomy app. A little slow to load the different layers at times. But this must be due to how detailed all the structures are.

Money grab. I’ve used this app for months as it really helps for school, not perfect, but great for visualizing how everything fits together. I went to use it after the update and cannot access any of the content I paid for, as they now try and make you pay for the year. Used to be a great app... now just a money grab... sorry guys not acceptable

Great app. Great custom service, the feedback is really responsive.

It’s getting there. Undoubtedly the best looking graphically, as well as feature rich, but slow to complete the full package, by way of male and, wait,,,,,hang on a moment ,,,,,,,,female anatomy. Baffling really.

The best. The best.

THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE ANATOMY APP. I am really enjoying using Complete Anatomy. As a student, it’s invaluable. Its quiz tool in particular is an excellent way to test yourself and I can even create my own questions! Must have app!

Technical Support AMAZING. I got this app many years ago and had a fully functional app to see all available components. Following a recent update to 3D Medical 2019, the app would not function properly with the layering no longer working. Contacted technical support and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. My app is now working as it should. THANK YOU!!

Love it! But.... I love all the contents and how there are actual lectures (divided in detail as well!) which are really helpful for an undergrad student like me. But the only thing is that it gets quite annoying when it refreshes the entire program (and goes back to main screen) every time i open another app - regardless of how long I use (i mean, if I used the other app for an hour or more, I can understand that - but this happens even when I use the other app for only like 2 minutes) the other app. This didn’t happen when I first downloaded it which is about 3 or so weeks ago, so if this could get fixed somehow, this app would be flawless. Thank you!

Great but crashes. I love it, being able to see the action of the muscle and isolate one structure from others etc, but when I load all the systems it crashes so that’s a downfall, especially when you want to try and do a virtual dissection.

Chinese only. English no longer available after the latest upgrade! No menu available to change language.

Exceptional App and Customer Service. This is an amazing app. I recently had an issue where my purchased content disappeared. The app developer responded to my request for assistance very promptly and resolved my issue.

Amazing app. I got the individual plan and it’s so wonderful, it helps me study so easily! It’s like dissecting a person!! I want to suggest one change: it would be nice to be able to display multiple gross anatomical regions at once. Other then that, it’s a wonderful app

Stunning. This is absolutely incredible, end of story. Buy the full version, you will not regret it.

I can’t access anything it keep on popping up that you need to relaunch app. I can not access any material on the app it keep on popping up that something is wrong and i need to relaunch the app

Beautiful and increasingly accurate. Of course this app is expensive, especially when you have to purchase it individually for every platform, but the quality of the content is outstanding. The esthetics are by far the best for any 3D anatomy app out there. What’s more, the content is getting increasingly accurate, with a meticulous attention to detail. Good job!

LECTURES AREN’T LOADING. Very disappointed. right when I need it most, it bails out on me and stops loading lectures. Fix problem asap.

Massively disappointed. Several years ago I paid in full for this app. At the time, it was costly for me but I purchased it anyway because I needed to reference the muscular layers. I was recovering from a back injury and felt that an anatomy app would help with my recovery. Recently, the app developers decided to change the structure of the app and make it a yearly subscription locking me out of what was something I had previously paid for. I feel robbed. Very dishonourable behaviour.

Good Application. Thanks for these great apps!

What a poor way to take care of client. I buy this app 3 years ago, cause I’m a teacher, so I can record some video. Now they just told me that they remove this option on my app !!! I pay for something I now they decide what I suppose to have or not !!! Which company will do that ??

Female. No female anatomy, poor value then

Great app to learn anatomy. I have since found out the developer is honest and stands by their product. I did end up buying the full package and I am pleased it comes with everything promised and more. With that being said I have changed my review. This skeleton, muscles and various systems are hi quality models and the ability to dive into the human body is amazing. I have an older iPad the first version with Retina display and they take advantage of the extra pixels. I got this to learn the body and inner systems for class I have to take. For me, well worth the money and I can study on the train to work.

Paid for app but doesn’t recognize me now. I paid for the app in full in 2017. After an app update it now doesn’t recognize me and wants me to log in for a 3 day trial! Is this a money grab.

Great resource. This app is amazing. The graphics are stunning. It's runs so smoothly. There really isn't anything like it. I'm so impressed with the multiple tools and features. I especially love the muscle motion and slice tools. The app is so interactive. And the content just keeps growing and growing. There is so much useful information. It's an invaluable tool. I usually don't pay for in-app purchases. But I've made an exception for this one. It's well worth it!

Fantastic App TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A STUDENT. This app is truly fantastic to use as a med student. I’ve been usually essential anatomy, but this one takes it to the next level in terms of the way you can manipulate the anatomy. Unfortunately, as a student, it is far too expensive for me to pay the subscription price. Too bad.

Great app for students. There is so much content available! Models are of high quality and information provided is correct. I think this app was well worth the investment - it helped me to supplement material I learned in anatomy lectures with amazing visualizations. I originally purchased this app as an add on to Essential Anatomy 5 - I wanted to be able to see extra features, including: parts, surfaces and landmarks of bones and motion of muscles. (If simply seeing the muscles on a skeleton and reading ORIANS is all that you need, EA5 is probably going to be sufficient). Support from 3D4Medical is quick and helpful. I had similar issues to other uses and was unable to access premium features after an app update, but customer service rep Sharon provided clear instructions on how to restore these features. At times the app can be a bit laggy, and it takes up a fair amount of space. But I am able to run it on my old iPad Air (2013).

It’s okay. While the words for the origins and insertions may be mostly correct, the actual image on the model doesn’t always represent what it says. For example, vastus medialis originates on the medial lip of the linea aspera (which the app says) but shows it no where near the linea aspera, rather on the anteromedial surface of the femur. I’m also having a problem where I’ve been trying to use the O/I view for the skeleton and after I click on three different locations the app freezes and shuts down on me. I haven’t really run into any other complaints so far. However, a radiology view would be interesting and cool.

Opens up great possibilities. This app blends great features and smooth intuitive interaction for a really wonderful experience.

Very good. Very handy at anatomy class and good for studying

Lag.... Laggy after the most recent update.

Great help for med students especially with classes shifted online. This app is great! It’s been really helpful for me as someone with very little background knowledge in anatomy. I have one suggestion! I think the dorsal and palmar surfaces of the hamate bone in the hand might be incorrect. Would probably good to fix it. Thanks

Click bait. His app boasts a free 3 day trial for all the different anatomical layers however you can never get past the verify email tool. Please reconsider this process as it is very misleading. Deleted the app and paid for another developers tool.

You guuuuys. That was fast

Studying is kinda fun. Works well on my iPad Air 2. High graphical quality, helpful animations. Full license does not allow viewing of cross-sections, only subscription licenses do. High price, you may want to consider Human Anatomy Atlas.

Crashing App still continues?. Hello, This is my second time writing a review about this app and its inability to run the purchased content without crashing. I have had this app for months and chose it because of the lecture add-ons and other features and has not delivered on its promises. The app has some bright spots, but this has become beyond frustration and has me ready for a reimbursement for all that I purchased associated with this app. Unsatisfied to say the least.

Looks amazing. Looks amazing but it doesn't work. It only shows a white screen.

For the price, this the app should have this at least. I think we should be able to at least open the mannequin mouth. There are a ton of important structures there that we can only see on a opened mouth. For Denstists would be awesome.

Best human body app ever!. This is the best app ever it has everything I want everything looks real and detailed best app on App Store

Excellent pour visualisation. Superbe outil pour demander des explications au médecin

Where’s portrait mode!. I’ve seen this being requested for a few years but still no portrait mode?

Unlike any other. How does a company have such a good product AND such good customer service? I’ve been using this for about 5 years and it might be the best app I’ve bought.

Greedy. Bought this app few years ago, then paid extra to own the full version. Sometime later i go into my ipad only to see that i dont own it anymore, i have a limited timed trial and after that runs out, i have to pay a lot more than i did originally to own it, every year as a subscription. I get this app is big and a lot of work goes into making it, but to make people who already bought the app then pay subscription is low, cheating crap of a way to do buisness and should be illegal.

Great for PT. I am using this for physical therapy school and it’s great at helping me visualize the anatomy. I just wish it could do some more complex motions such as Pronation and supination of the foot. However it might just be due to the app having motions only being tied to one specific muscle rather than combining them to complete triplanar motions.

Money Well Spent. I tried several anatomy apps before investing in this one. With the money that I wasted on the other apps trying to save a buck, I would have been further ahead investing in this one. I primarily use this for personal training so I really like the motion that I can see with the muscles in action. Well worth the cost.

Solved... I used ‘Complete Anatomy’ well before updating 2019 version. I didn’t know that I should pay again and don’t want suscription and didn’t get any notices. How can I go back to previous version? They made it well. Thanks for kind response.

Best Anatomy App Out There. I am a medical student, and so far this app has been a real life saver. It is quite accurate, and very good for figuring out spacial relationships between structures. I would recommend spending a few bucks and purchasing this app. In the grand scheme of the cost of medical education this is just a drop in the bucket, but a very worthwhile drop.

Bought in 2016 and unable to access full benefits. Great and useful ap back when I had full access... I bought the full version in 2016 and now I am unable to access the full version of this ap. Can someone please help and grant this paying customer full access for what I already paid for?

Still no female model. Great app, but 4 stars deducted for 5 YEARS AFTER RELEASING THE APP, still not bothering to add a full female model. Pathetic, discriminatory, and dated approach to anatomy. You keep responding to all the comments calling you out on the lack of a female model that you're "working on it" - you must not be very good at your jobs if it takes you years to add basic anatomy for half the population. Or, let's be honest, you really don't care if you're discriminating against women and adding to the bias that leads to worse outcomes in female health care across the board.

Awesome Learning Tool!. This is such a phenomenal learning tool. I have learned I need to use it slowly, however, otherwise it will crash on me and I need to restart my iPad. To be able to select structures, many at a time and study them 3-D, is such a gift. Details continue to be updated, such as the nuclei of the Thalamus. Love it!!!!

Disappointed with how this app works across different platforms. I first bought essential anatomy for $30 and then once I open the app it says that complete anatomy is the better newer version with more features so I go and buy that for an addition $44 and then I try to log in to the iPad version on my iPad and it says I have to pay an additional $22 r u serious u guys r just stealin this isn’t fair I would really like to be able to use this on my iPad for free upgraded considering how much I’ve already paid!

Boot issues in IOS 11.2.2. While the 3D modeling is an absolute masterpiece, I get annoyed at the fact that on some days, the App doesn’t open properly. The screen opens with the basic skeleton on a white screen without tabs on the bottom or sides. It would be a premium asset that would basically negate the need of many other Apps. Help please!

Best app, unnecessary features…. Best app for getting to know the anatomy! However, I am not sure why they wasted resources to have models with different skin colors/facial features when almost everyone starts off with the skeleton model. I feel like they could have spent the time/money in a better direction. But hey, it’s your company.

Needs some bug fixes. I love how it works a across platforms but there are some minor bug fixes when saving and accessing screens from the windows library. I’ve saved screens on windows that, when pulled up for later reference, load muscles I never included in the original project. I don’t know if this was in the design but I tried to make an abdomen/pelvis only screen for learning abdominal muscles and wanted to include the inguinal ligament. It says it is available with the abdomen and pelvis but I wasn’t able to keep it with my model after looking it up. There may be other bugs, I just haven’t found them yet. Overall it is an exceptional tool for learning anatomy; it just needs som bug fixes.

Would be great but.... 1. Can only project the image on landscape view...would be better if you can rotate the image to portrait view as well. The skeleton is so small in landscape view. 2. Where is the ability to change to female full body? The only female part you are able to see is the “pelvis”. There are also no breast images. i am a doctor and would love to be able to teach my female patients using female anatomy Otherwise pretty great app.

It could be better.. I think that this is useful if you are studying the male anatomy. Why is there just the female pelvis? It is useful but it costs to much. Please make a full female body because it would make the app better. I also don’t know why you can’t change the skin tone? Also the app will crash a lot. Please fix this and come out with a better app.

Overall decent, content disappeared. I have the same app on the iPhone that works well. I downloaded it for the iPad and paid separately for the app, however, all of the content is missing. There are no pre-set models like there are in the iPhone, it’s completely empty. Therefore, on the iPad app, every time you want to view a specific model you have to recreate it from the beginning. Very frustrating.

Amazing program. This program has gotten better and better for years and now it’s truly amazing that they are part is truly spectacular and it’s always great to be able to visualize what’s going on inside of my body!

Just WOW. I just got the free version to learn more about the body & this app offers so much useful information in an easy to receive way. I'm really excited to use it more & learn from this app. Thank you to the creators, you guys did amazingly.

Completely Unresponsive. I don’t know what happened??? I was using this app all throughout last year however this past week I opened the app and it just wouldn’t respond. The models don’t rotate or move to my fingers or to my Apple Pencil. I can’t click on any structures with my fingers or pencil. Sometimes I’m able to move and rotate the models with my fingers but it stutters and will just stop. I’m on the M2 iPad Pro. This app was a 5 star but now I have to give it a 1 star because it just doesn’t work. Please fix it.

Does not work well with Apple Pencil. I was hoping to use this app to help me study anatomy and was very excited that I could write my own notes on the model. It doesn’t work well with the Apple Pencil - it’s skips very easily and you have to push very hard to get it to recognize at all, to the point where I think using this function would damage my device. I had to request for a refund.

Close, but no cigar. I would give this a full five stars, if only it included a model of the brain. The body model doesn’t include many structures of the brain, except for the basic portions such as: the only 4 basic lobes (all except insula), pre and post central gyrus, lateral sulcus.... I hope that in the future, I can change my rating to a five star.

Last update destroyed functionality. Not a happy camper! 😂 This is a great tool except it keeps wiping out your progress as you take the anatomy and physiology course. This is extremely frustrating. AP Is heard enough. The hard part 3D, they got right, the easy part updating the progress database by user, they executed wrong. My newly coding little grandchildren would not screw third easy part up. You can and must do better. As if that was not aggravating enough in this last update The developers have completely screwed up the screen formatting on the iPad Pro and on my iPhone X. @##$&**( FIX THIS!!!!!!)

Awesome app!! Highly recommend!. I love this app!! I highly recommend it for anyone studying anatomy. It does a great job of letting you interact with the body. A couple of things that I think could be improved upon are: - the time it takes to load; often it can be quite slow while you’re interacting with it - the inside of some body parts; I would look forward to seeing a new version with more details of inside the organs, such as inside the bones, etc! It would be cool to see some details at the cellular/tissues level, too. Overall it’s an extremely helpful app! I highly recommend it!

NOT WORKING. I have tried everything to make this app work on my iPad but nothing that I was advised to do work! The app keep crashing after a few minutes working on it. It is incredibly slow! I know for a fact that this app is good, I have had it for years now but since updating to the new complete anatomy version it doesn’t work as before. What else should I be doing? I am going through a great deal of work that need to be complemented with the app and it is not working at all!

Way to be Worthless. Nice job going to a subscription and altering the whole app and making what I’ve already paid for worthless. You people are TRASH. And your “support” is worthless to. If you don’t already have this pathetic app DONT spend money on it anymore. On a side note I look forward to your basic response you give negative reviews. And there’s nothing you can do besides returning to original functionality that warrants you anything better 0/5 stars

The ‘Trail’ is a trap! There is no easy way to cancel. The app should provide a clear way to cancel the 3 day trail but it does not. The website you need to go to also has no links to cancel the trail. There is info to cancel the subscription, but during the trail you are not yet subscribed so that way to cancel does not work. I had to contact support which I had to find via google and a lot of searching. Not worth it. They obviously rely on people not being able to cancel the trail to make their income.

No ligaments?. I just bought this app and it looks great, but there is one major thing missing. There is no option to display the ligaments on any view. Search “ligaments” and nothing comes up. Have to reduce the star rating for that. Hope this is added in the future!

No full female model. I have loved the app — but I’m not renewing my subscription until there is a full female model. It is appalling in this day and age to have to pull up the female pelvis and thoracic separately. I work largely with women, so when I’m using the app myself to follow neural pathways, or showing my clients aspects of anatomy — I use other apps. It is extraordinarily limited when working with the whole female anatomy. In this day and age — how is the default, and only full reference solely male? It’s absurd.

Pretty good. I like that I can move the model around, but I find that after extended periods of use the app starts to glitch and I have to close out of the app and reopen it. Not a major thing, but I think this help to learn muscles and bones by just being able to visual everything and movie it around.

Logical and insightful. The application covers a broad range of anatomy and physiology. It is relevant to systems neuroscience as a reference for teaching and consultation. However, may be relevant for subsequent anatomical models to reflect Mendel’s laws of inheritance (i.e., brown eyes and, at least, tan skin). Such changes will be consistent with a Gaussian distribution and a representative sampling of the world population. Biodiversity matters for future researchers.

O K A Y, so. . .. Everyone else says it’s great, so I’m gonna believe them. I tried to re-download and get on the app again like the company suggested, but it didn’t work that time either. So, it’s probably just my device that won’t work, so I’m not gonna dent this games rating just because of my device.

NO FEMALE MODEL. I can not over express how disappointed and upset I am by this app. The female model is just a pelvis? What is wrong with you people? I know you have the model because essential anatomy uses it. Fix this now or you are going to find out what happens when institutional mysongeny hits social media and is spread to every teacher in the United States. The response below from the developer is interesting. They released an unfinished product and went after male anatomy first. Still impossible to use this with students without giving some kind of strange explanation.

Great App. Great app for learning or explaining anatomy and physiology, however I wish you could access bony landmarks without isolating bones. Especially with the skull and pelvis where several bones merge and combine to make foramen and bony landmarks where it can be difficult to identify those landmarks without being able to see the other bones present as well.

Be Warned. This app WAS a blast. I downloaded it an had a great time refreshing my memory on anatomy. The attention to detail is incredible, and the interface is well though out. Unfortunately, this is a subscription service. If you want access to any of the content past the skeletal system, which is why I downloaded this app, you are out of luck. I recommend looking elsewhere unless you are willing to shell out $50 annually.

Please fix this.. I juts purchased this 2 days ago, and I’m already experiencing these glitches. I noticed that every time I use the “isolate” button, the last couple of sentences on description overlaps each other and my option to change the view(anterior, posterior, etc.) disappears. It just goes back to normal when I completely close the app. Sometime I have to restart my ipad to solve the issue temporarily. After a while of using the app, it does the same issue again. Please fix this.

Hey. Add this thingy called “med coins” Which you get randomly in counts of 1 or 2 and you can exchange them for 1 hour of all body systems for every 15 med coins. Also please take this as a joke and you don’t need to do this

I love this app.. I am a licensed massage therapist and I have had this app since 2019 and it’s the best anatomy app I’ve seen. I use it with my clients ALL THE TIME to educate them about muscle anatomy and physiology. It is so detailed in every aspect right down to the origins and insertions.

DO Student Review. I enjoy the app a lot is it helping me get through MGA, but it freezes a lot when I am trying to rotate the model and look at different muscles. I have to close out the app and go back in again for it to work. Please fix this🥹.

Very useful except for some lag and slowness. The app is really useful for medical students and other health related classes. The only thing is that it lags and slows down sometimes when I search something up.

AR mode is limited. In AR mode you cannot dissect or hide structures. This makes the feature very limited. In order to hide structures you need to exit AR mode first. The reenter after removing the structure. Also I wish you could view the model prone or supine. It would be nice if there were a quiz mode that you could access in AR with pins, to simulate a lab practical. Finally this app is only rendered in landscape. This is painfully annoying.

This app is useless.... There is no way to get a cross-section for anything, the cut tool is so frustrating and does not do it right, I mean what’s the point of a 3D anatomy app that doesn’t do slices!! There is still images for free everywhere on the internet! I don’t know why there isn’t a slice tool like in essential anatomy 4 and 5 !!! I have an iPad Pro and this app lags so much It’s just so annoying to use it for anything that you need. I really regret paying for the student subscription..

Tía no working again. I bought the app and it worked perfectly for 3 months. Last month I was unable to use because simply the app did not respond to any command, the support was quite attentive , solved the problem , after 15 days the same problem happened again. What is happening? If you pay per year and can not use ? How does the consumer stay in this situation?

Great app. This is the best anatomy app. The reason I write this review is to ask developers to enable portrait viewing please. All of the other apps allow it and it really make sense that you can see a model skeleton in portrait not landscape. What’s in the landscape we need to see beside the toolbar?

C Moore SPT. This app got me through my first year of DPT school! Especially Anatomy and Kinesiology. It’s amazing and worth the money. The preset screens are really good and there’s hundreds of them. If you’re like me and love to explore and see how far you can go in each structure, that’s really fun too. I LOVE the muscle action feature. If you’re a student make sure you get the student discount. Their customer service team is pretty great too. NEEDS BETTER APPLE PENCIL SUPPORT!!

Feeling cheated. I bought this app 4-5 years ago since it seemed interesting to help educate my elementary school daughter on the human body. I paid full price, but it kept updating. After not having used it for a while I notice that everything is gone. For anything we could see before is now only available with weird subscription systems that make this app useless for normal use. NOBODY STATED EVER THAT THE APP WAS LIMITED TIME ONLY1!! I paid full price!! The human body hasn’t changed. I don’t need more info than I could get before, but I HATE THAT ALL OF THAT IS TAKEN AWAY1! THIS IS THEFT1!!

Lost in space, female form, out of context. Even in the full purchase personal, on the full body view, there should be the female pelvis and breast to provide an accurate presentation and to see the appropriate context to other body systems near the ovaries, etc. One response given was that what exists now with the female pelvic region presented out of body is the worldwide standard. How is that helpful? Are these discrepancies true also for the subscription versions for your Pro and educator versions?

Cool. I am a semi retired nurse. School was not my favorite activity but I enjoy learning especially in this very interactive way. I am sure there are many aspects to this app that I will never use but simply being able to manipulate the skeleton and layering one or all of the systems is so much fun. It is great.

Unparalleled resource for artists. This allows you to supplement your anatomy study along with studying from books. Having a mental model of the human body by studying these amazing models will put you leagues ahead of other artists.

It’s great until it’s not. This is a great learning app for anatomy and physiology. However, there is a notable learning curve in learning how to operate the app and it very often bugs out (non-responsive, cannot rotate anatomic models, freezes often) requiring re-starting the app for functionality. If these problems were fixed, then it would be an easy 5/5.

Great app, but only with subscription. I like the app and it’s great, I tried it before. If you’re a medical student or love anatomy there’s no doubt this is a great app. If what you’re looking for is an atlas to buy and have it might not be the best option since you have to pay an annual subscription to use all the features, except for the skeleton.
