Can’t contact support. App is working fine but I’m not able to stop the service. I turn it off it comes back on, runs in the background with no option to change that either. Try to contact support but they’re asking me for password to connect with my email address, well I forgot the password and there is no option to change it so I can login and get support. I just want to be able to turnnoff the service when I want to and contact support without the hassle. So I’m stuck with an app that stays on with no controll over it. If I can take care of this I’d give more stars!

Terrible. I had this website and deleted it because I was terrible and would’t let you do anything with out paying. Usually I would get if you had to pay for something but in this website you have to pay for everything thing. I don’t even know why they put it for free on the App Store if you have to pay for everything. If something changes this I probably will delete this review but all I want to do is download something that I can’t get from where I am but I have to pay to pretend I am any where else. I would rate 0/5.

Works well. I use it at school since my school restricts social media and some websites and it unblocks all of them. Works well, I used to have problems with it connecting earlier this year to my schools WiFi, but that only lasted for a couple of weeks and it works just fine now. I also use it when I’m using public WiFi just to be safe.

I've been waiting for 3 days for this to install.. When I installed this on Tuesday, it said "waiting" and I thought it would take 20 seconds or so. But then, When I checked on it, it still said "waiting". I was confused why it said this. I don't know if this is a mistake or broken. But I think it's just me that's been having this. Way Cool!!. Where have you been all my life?!?! I so needed this app Years ago when my boss started blocking certain signals at my job. Couldn't get talk radio, which passes the time. Couldn't play certain games while I was on break either. Bummer. But not anymore!! Great app!. I downloaded three different VPNs but this is my go to. Sometimes when it doesn’t work (it occasionally doesn’t) I will use one of my other two. However, all in all I give it a 5 since it’s my favorite. Will of course slow down your internet speed but I think this is to be expected with any vpn. I like this app and want to express appreciation to the makers for offering a free version- which is what I use. Thank you so much! I use it daily!

Review>HexaTech Unlimited VPN Proxy. Haven’t yet used the HexTech Unlimited VPN Proxy. However, once I do and learn more about the unlimited 5 device connection, I then will give a more educated honest review. With the knowledge that many have no patients and write reviews without truly taking the time to learn more about technology, device sharing and application basics. Every app and/or device has “glitches” especially when they are new or being updated.

Issues !!!!!💯. I got the app for a virus protection and for school.. sad to say it is ruining my phone! I did not purchase anything, I am sure of it, and my apple store will not let me download anything or update any apps due to your app. It keeps telling me to pay for it, I refuse, I’m not even subscribed... overall, you need to fix this issue, it has been occurring over the past two weeks and I’m tired of it. I even had to restart my phone and make a big deal when it shouldn’t have been...

Mediocre at best. I am/ was a paid subscriber (not for long). The app routinely kills my WiFi connection. Most of the time I have to exit out of the app and then reboot everything in order for it to work again. The app routinely forgets I am “premium” and I have to continually restore my purchase. The most recent issue was that I had to completely remove the app to keep my iPad from trying to automatically turning on the vpn which wasn’t even open. Which would in turn kill the WiFi connection. Don’t even try to write an email to them because they don’t respond to user issues. I will bet that after I post this comment you will see a response from them saying “...we are sorry you are having problems with this app. Please contact our support team”. Would love to but you don’t answer your emails......

Totally Frustrated. Help! I can’t send emails. I can’t access BeachBody app. I can’t watch Netflix. There is no phone number for help. The chat directs me to do 15 things, 14 of which are past my paygrade. When I call Zander they direct me to UltraVPN chat. It might just be me…..but I surrender. Friends have VPN with other providers and haven’t experienced my issues. VPN chat people take a bit to get back to me but they do type nice words. I just need a live voice to talk me off the ledge. Can’t seem to reach a live person so called Zander to cancel. It’s a weekend so someone will call me back. I look forward to getting my emails sent and watching Netflix and exercising with BeachBody. Don’t recommend this VPN.

I need technical support. I’m not technically savvy & need a phone # to connect with someone but that’s not available. I need a pop up tech to help me walk through procedures but not available. I need tech support to take control of my computer when I’ve tried everything but again not available. A Tech company should serve their clients in real time and w/ several different options not a 24 hr return of an email. I didn’t read the fine print and should have because tech support when your not really computer savvy is EVERYTHING.

NOT A REAL VPN. I WILL SPARE YOU TECHNICAL TERMS MOSTLY, but this is not an actual vpn. This vpn is run by Betternet which is found to embed up to 13 viruses in your device. Furthermore this vpn doesn’t actually hide you or encrypt you. This claim it has is completely false. This app will actually leak your DNS server location and that means your search history. If you are watching porn, your isp knows. When testing a literal geo location while using, it allowed my literal exact location on earth to be seen. Not even a rough estimate. My exact location. It only hides ivp6 so any 4 route will be seen as well. This is not good app. It collects and sells data, being that Canada is a 5 eyes country.

An amazing app. The only thing I can complain about is it takes a couple of minutes to VPN to activate, so while you’re waiting you can’t use the WiFi. And when your phone is off your longer than a minute, it disconnects which disconnects you to the WiFi. But it never takes too long to connect again :)

Best and Most Effective. I don’t see what’s free and premium, this apps integrity, especially its ‘brother’ Betternet is absolutely astounding. If one doesn’t work, the other will; to add to this, ads do not pose a problem. Sure, sometimes speed fluctuates but the quality of the level of effectiveness has not let me down yet. That being said when I’ve traveled to many places (including foreign countries outside the United States). This app I’ve grown to trust and alongside that Hexatech has also proved to bypass a mass amounts of firewalls including schools, workplaces, and hospitals (yes they too have firewalls). In conclusion, this VPN company itself is really good and it deserves what I rate.

School VPN. It works when it cooperates with you . I use school WiFi and use this vpn in order to do regular things throughout the day without having to ur data and 7/10 times it works. The other 3 times it is a pain because I have to delete and redone load the app to prevent myself from having to pay $11 a month just for a vpn and sometimes it says it’s connected when it’s not and other annoying nic nacks like that ://

So far so good. 10 connections on the free version. I’m not super clear how private this VPN is. But as far as connections go it is great. I’m still getting a whole bunch of ads and I still get signs of my privacy being invaded. It is a whole hell of a lot better than no VPN though! Definitely worth the money LOL just kidding, it’s a good VPN to try for free.

Useful but disconnects often. It does exactly what you ant it to do. The only issue is that every time my phone goes to sleep it disconnects. It get frustrating at times. However it’s functionality and ease of use is great. It’d be fantastic if the developers would make an on/off widget.

Used to Work. This VPN used to work just fine for me with the occasional connectivity issue here and there, but I didn’t really mind cause it would work fine the next day. I only use it in school because the school WiFi blocks everything and the VPN allows me to access anything. However now when I hit connect it says “connecting” for a looooooong time and then goes to disconnected, very frustrating when I’m in a study block with no homework left to do and can’t connect to anything. I don’t have unlimited data and I’d like a way to access google, cause believe it or not the school has blocked google!!!

Can’t get to work?. First of all you guys come onto my phone and scare the heck out of me by making me think that I have some big old monster on my phone that’s going to wreak havoc on me and my family if I don’t buy your product the UltraVPN because I have suspicious files on my phone and this is what I need to remove them. So I purchased the application from the App Store and I just simply don’t know how to make it work? I have set up the account,password and it still does not work,I have tried to call and get nothing but a busy phone so I don’t know what to do?

What the Hexatech?. I’ve had Hexatech on multiple devices. I’ve had it on 3 phones and a tablet before. It’s been a decent app before but now it’s getting worse and worse. First the button would sometimes break. I would press the button to turn it off and it would show “disconnecting” but never did so. I would have to repeatedly tap the button SEVERAL times for it to ACTUALLY disconnect. Other times I would try to connect to a network with my VPN and it refuses! It will connect to my cell data but not the Network. It works maybe 35% of the time, and that’s being generous. I’ve considered paying for premium but there is no use in paying for an app that is already broken. Definitely considering trying Betternet VPN. - LightSaberLesbian

I like Ultra VPN. This give me a feeling of security that’s I’ve not experienced in the past, like an alarm on our home. When our home alarm is on, I can hear a noise at night and not wonder if someone has entered our home. Ultra VPN offers the same feeling. This system goes off every so often and I don’t check it everyday but then realize it’s not on. Why not allow it to automatically go on when I turn my computer on each day?

Good but I guess weird. So I am taking vacation in China and the social media didn’t rly work so I decided to try out this app. I downloaded it and I already liked it because this app unlike others you don’t have to pay to use it. I used it once and it was really useful, but when I tried it again later in the day it said I had no internet connection even though I did. I had tried again and again but it still doesn’t work. Great but.... I used this vpn for quite a long time, and it just got better with every update. The speed is good not the best but really good and I rarely got connection difficulties but recently I installed it on another device and subscription page just doesn’t go away , I used to use this app free and now it is like forcing me to subscribe :( Still recommend it ^-^

Great app, Great customer service. I was impressed by their quick and genuinely helpful customer service. I got the Premium trial, really liked the app but couldn't do what I had hoped a VPN would let me do so I sought to cancel my subscription. I emailed them and they got back to me promptly with instructions on how to cancel my subscription so I wouldn't get charged.

Decent…hopefully getting better?. This works well overall. However, there are several sites where I have to turn the VPN off in order to continue on the site. It would be nice if this VPN worked on every site, or if there was a prompt letting me know that the VPN may potentially block that site and why so I can make an informed decision about how to proceed.

What Happened?. This application worked fine for a few days, ran smoothly. After three days, it cannot connect to my home wifi, constantly kills my connection, and i am only able to connect to data. i am on a limited plan while in china (which as you know, needs a vpn to access many sites). this app is so infuriating, stopping the connection time because “there is no internet connection” when there clearly is one. it got worse day after day. i really don’t understand how this app has such a high review with such disappointing service.

Decent but intermittent connectivity issues. I believe it is doing as intended, when going on some websites the site will say it doesn’t recognize my device and make me do the standard “I’m not a robot” test when I didn’t have to that for those websites previously. And if I sign into an account with my phone, I will get an email saying a device is trying to sign in from some location far away from me asking if it’s me or not, so it seems as though this app is doing a good job of hiding my phone and making it more difficult to track me. The only problem I have with the app is that when I am connected through it the data rate will at times really slow down or quit working all together, I then flip over to the app and disconnect the VPN and then the data works again. I then connect it again a little while later and it seems to be fine again for awhile.

Great for iPads, definitely get this!. This app works great, fully automatic just press the button and your VPN is on! It runs in the background even with the app closed and as soon as you connect to WiFi, it's already on. It has been running for over 12hours and 39 seconds. There won't be any worries of hexatech deactivating the VPN. Even if your internet bandwidth is low, it will still connect without a problem. Thank you so much.

Questionable. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! I fail to see how this app has 4.5 out 5 for reviews. I made the mistake of accepting the reviews at face value and installed. They must have paid people for their reviews or written them themselves. This absolutely the worst app ever. It wouldn’t connect, slowed my phone to a crawl, wouldn’t allow me to connect to secure home WiFi. I couldn’t post to business Facebook page from my phone or go to my business website while this app was on my phone. I reached out to developers from the contact us several times over three days for help to cancel my trial subscription. I have yet to to get help other than problem solved. On reading further through the reviews I found where developers replied to another bad review with and iPhone telling them how to cancel their subscription. Couldn’t do it from my iPhone but did it from my iPad and now my phone is operating like it did before installing the useless app. If I could rate less than 1 Star I would.

doesn’t work. I loved this app, it worked for me everyday at school for months but all of a sudden it just stopped working... whenever I try to connect at school it disconnects from the WiFi until I have to stop the vpn from connecting then the WiFi comes back, or WHEN it does connect the WiFi doesn’t work at all and I can’t use my phone, my friends all have the same issue with this app it just won’t work anymore.

Yeah. First tried tried your app out of the blue. Definitely like the simplicity of it all. Didn't like the connection lag and slow recovery time while I use certain apps. Got a deal on an upgrade to premium. Have noticed any difference really at all. But says that your speeds are better. I haven't tested the connection to confirm. Well done over all 4/5

Yes and no.. First of all, great VPN and everything. Before the update there was it’s pros and cons, it worked really well, yet I got a new phone and downloaded it and now whenever I log in to my old account it gives me no option than to subscribe or get a membership. Is this not free anymore or is it just my account? P.s. I’ve tried closing the app several times and deleting and downloading, even making a new account, but it’s still the same thing.

HexatechVPN has been great. This has been a great app for me I have had it for a while now but there is always room for improvement. The last 2 years I think that’s how long I have had it. I have never had a prob with this app it has worked and has done what I have paid it to do unlike a lot of apps on here this one has done it’s job.

How do I unsubscribe？？Do not download！. I hit purchase option accidentally and now I find that it's hard to unsubscribe. They said go to account setting but there is no option about subscribe at all in my account！It worked in China but you should go find other VPN if you are looking for a VPN for China. once you purchase its hardly to unsubscrib！！ I just saw the review saying“ Do not download this app”，yes I had exactly the same problem about unsubscription！And once you download you are very likely to purchase by mistake！They defnitely did it on purpose！

Worst VPN I’ve Ever Had. Works sometimes. Other times doesn’t. You get what you pay for. Only $8. To update: they say if you are not satisfied w/in 30 days of purchase that you will be refunded. I requested cancellation and refund well w/in my 30 days and they responded once asking why I wanted to cancel and then they never contacted me again. I am still waiting on a response. I will NEVER use them again. ExpressVPN may be a little higher in price but the customer service was elite. Again you get what you pay for. If you want to actually be able to enjoy watching your abroad shows without constant interruption, DONT use this vpn service.

Connectivity issues abroad. I bought the monthly subscription. It worked great for the first two weeks in Italy. Then, for no apparent reason, it would never connect to US servers. I didn’t move location, and I reset everything on the phone, etc etc. I tried everything on the online forums. I ended the subscription after. Still giving 2 stars because when it worked, it was good!

Amazing!. My school blocks basically any connection to the outside world, even cellular data. My only option is to connect to their internet, but guess what? It’s moderated! But by using Hexatech, I achieved a stronger, better, and faster connection even in as low as 1 bar! I couldn’t find any other app on the store which had the same or better effect. Works Okay then Not - ads are inappropriate. The App itself will sometimes work and other times say it’s “connected” but then nothing can get through. I handle that by switching it on and off multiple timed. What I am most unhappy with is the change of ads recently. Within China, I see so many ads that are degrading to women and advertising video prostitution. You can’t even click out of the ads, you are forced to stay on the screen for 5 seconds. I don’t mind the free ad version, but I do mind the kind of ads that are being displayed. For those who might have children or don’t want to see/support that business, I would not recommend.

Good Job. I’m Still indecisive wether to purchase the app but so far so good . I got disconnected 1 time and they reached out to me and I received a fast response and ever since, I have not had no problem. I’ve tried several VPN apps and I’m very impressed with this one . Very accurate ,helpful and fast connection. It’s best to not always rely on other peoples review until you try it out yourself , everyone always have there own opinion .

Great VPN. This vpn works great. Very unintrusive. The only fault it has is that it occasionally disconnects. This would be ok if the app disconnected you from the internet. Instead you will reconnect to the internet without your VPN. This means you lose privacy. You end up exposed. Better to lose the internet and reconnect the VPN yourself. If the app did what I suggest it would be perfect. Just the same this free VPN deserves the five star rating I gave it. You can also option for the premium which gives you a better connection and no adds. The rate is reasonable if you purchase the year plan. No adds means none of information is shared with anyone.

Problems. I've used HexatechVPN for about 2 years now and have gotten a few friends on it but these past few days it has really made my internet slow and now I cannot connect it to my phone and if it tries it will make it so I don't have WiFi and continues to try and connect. Any recommendations

Overall very happy. Wanted VPN to get some security in Hotels and also to get domestic sites when traveling. Does this OK. Negatives, it is slower, it disconnects over night when not used for a few hours and I get a lot of middle eastern commercials even though I have never visited the Middle East. All that said, would recommend. UPDATE. There have been some updates to both the App and also to iPad recently and the speed issue is greatly improved and it no longer disconnects overnight.

Best VPN on Mobile. Hexatech is a life saver...here is why. Let’s say you are somewhere that blocks a site that you wish to go to or an app that you want to use, well you just connect to Hexatech and problem solved. It really is amazing, even without the premium it is still amazing. The one thing I will say is that there really is not much point in buying the premium sense the app by itself is already so amazing. The only actual good reason to buy the premium is to support the amazing people who made this app which actually sounds like a good idea the more I think about it. It was amazing while it lasted. Used the app for about a year to get around my schools terrible filtering connection. The app worked well and offered access to blocked sites with slowed connection. The slowed speed is to be expected however as they way vpn's work causes the data do take longer to be sent. Everyone at my school used it. Well that's not a good thing as the IT people noticed and now none of us can use it. I love how responsive the developers are and I wish them the best of luck.

Ads everywhere. Intermittent connectivity.. App has been updated and still cannot connect to internet service while VPN is “on”. I am stuck with some sort of death loop: connected. disconnected. connected. disconnected. connected. disconnected… I also cannot use any adblockers while this. VPN is “on” even if it does connect. There are ads and pop up’s and auto played videos and streamers and banners EVERYWHERE because this VPN has 0 ad blocking function… but it blocks my adblockers from working…

I once went on to this app to try the free version (with ads) and I had know money on my account so I wasn’t going to pay for premium or anything about 2 months later I have just redeemed a Apple iTunes gift card and the second I did I got an email from Apple saying that they charged me oh AND GEUSS WHAT it wasn’t even just their standard $16 no it was there better net they charged me $42 and I had a only a $50 card!!!

Perfect for watching Netflix.. I downloaded this app after my last VPN for American Netflix viewing stopped working (Betternet, I had paid for subscription). This app however works perfectly, and I have yet to pay a cent.

Unsubscribed and Still Charged. I contacted Apple to sort out payment subscriptions and how to stop them. I followed all the steps and I was still charged by this app. I’ve contacted Apple requesting a refund as this is an unauthorised payment.

Shady App. My daughter somehow ended up with 3 VPN apps when she wouldn’t even know what a VPN is: this was possible because you offered a 1 week free trial after which I would start to be charged for a service we didn’t ask for. I don’t know how you did it, but it’s bad behavior.

Does not offer cancellation for free trials.. I decided to get on the free trial to see if I would go with Hexatech in the long run. Turns out it is very slow. I have been trying to cancel my free trial before the automatic subscription kicks in but there is no cancellation within the app. This is not user friendly at all.

I’ve been charged and don’t even have the app. I had downloaded this app two years ago and I deleted it after the free trial, but since there is no cancellation on the app I just found out I am still being charged. Over $500 have been wasted on an app that doesn’t work and I didn’t even have downloaded. What a scam.

Poor connection in China. I can not connect to this most of the time in China. I have paid the 1 year contract plan but this service is outmost terrible. Very slow connections so I could not do productive work on the foreign website. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied about this terrible app.

I kinda recommend it. Ok so like here’s the thing, it disconnects a lot if your WiFi isn’t fully stable. I found that you have to go into settings and turn the vpn on in order for it to work cause when I wasn’t doing that it said “no connection” which was really pissing me off. And honestly it’s kinda slow but better than daily vpn and maybe other ones. I guess I recommend it if your going overseas like China or something sorry ik this is long

Bring free Hexatech back!. You either die young or live long enough to see a once thriving VPN turn into one of those hideous pay-to-breathe apps where you literally can’t do anything without getting a subscription. Ladies and gentlemen, as of right now, this is no longer a free service. Such a shame that you guys turned an amazing free VPN into this mess overnight. As a long-time user I’m incredibly disappointed. And no, I will not tap the 3-bar icon to get in touch with support because guess what? I cannot access any app feature at all without paying. So please spare me the copy-paste. All I ask is that you bring the old Hexatech back.

Really?!. I installed the app from the App Store and it says I didn’t when I click get from App Store it says open!!! I’ve tried reinstalling it and it has the same problem!!!

Very disappointed!!!. A huge regret to have accepted the new version. with the old version i could regzrder netflix, disney + and amazon prime using the VPN and on my smart TV as well. But since UltraVPN was bought it no longer works with my applications or on my smart TV.

Everything in Arabic????. My VPN is always set to a Canadian city and yet whenever im prompted to enter any info or a pop up for a site comes up they’re ALWAYS in Arabic, and when I turn the VPN off and reload the page they return to English, Very strange considering Toronto is not an Arabic city nor is it primarily populated by Arabic’s, concerning to say the least, will be uninstalling.

Not work from China, and no way to cancel premium subscription. The app cannot connected from China. So I decide cancel the subscription. But there is no way to cancel from app. Be aware !

And free member is very slow which I can't hardly even load Instagram and Facebook etc. I try to restore my purchase on this app and it said I have no purchase to restore. Unable to use VPN. As soon as I open the app, a paywall appears where I can’t close it, making the VPN unusable. It worked fine on my 5 year old Samsung tablet, however my iPhone7 is blocked via paywall.

HexatechVPN has been great. This has been a great app for me I have had it for a while now but there is always room for improvement. The last 2 years I think that’s how long I have had it. I have never had a prob with this app it has worked and has done what I have paid it to do unlike a lot of apps on here this one has done it’s job.

Worst VPN ever. I started using it when I arrived in China last year and it slowed down my WiFi connection so much that I wasn’t unable to use it to watch any videos. It was very frustrating trying to turn it on since most of the time it wouldn’t even connect. Eventually I had no choice but to purchase another VPN which by the way it’s way better. In my opinion it’s a BIG SCAM since when I requested a refund I was told that it was not possible because I had waited too long.

Great app. Downloaded for credits in another app but I actually like it. Except when it’s connected you browser may get confused and show ads and stuff in the wrong language since the phone thinks you’re traveling.

It’s a solid app to use. HexatechVPN is a very solid app to use when you need it. It have all the features I’m looking for and it isn’t pushy about upgrading to premium and it doesn’t have ads either. I’d vote this app a 9.8out of 10.

It works so well. Though I haven’t had this app for as long as others, I have noticed that they take their users into consideration when doing anything, I’ve seen the policy and the descriptions for questions, everything is pretty much top of the line. I love it

good but drains battery very fast. i use hexatech to bypass my school’s wifi and use it as regular wifi. it works well for the most part but occasionally disconnects. the biggest issue with it is that it drains my phone battery so, so fast. by so fast i mean like down a percent every 2 minutes. so if you’re using it for a short period of time it works but don’t leave it on for too long or it will kill your battery. i think it also affects your battery in the long run because even after i wasn’t using it my battery seemed to drain faster. i have a new phone now and it was still almost dead by the end of the school day.

Yeah. First tried tried your app out of the blue. Definitely like the simplicity of it all. Didn't like the connection lag and slow recovery time while I use certain apps. Got a deal on an upgrade to premium. Have noticed any difference really at all. But says that your speeds are better. I haven't tested the connection to confirm. Well done over all 4/5

Hexatech makes Internet access possible!. I use this app regularly to stay connected to others daily. I cannot obtain Internet access at work. Using this app has changed that for me!! Now, I am able to stay/be connected.

Can’t connect UltraVPN in China. Even though UltraVPN says their VPN works in China I have not been successful in making it do so. In addition, there appears to be no live chat to discuss the problem I’m having, and their virtual chat offers no meaningful help regarding the problem I’m having. It does work if I’m outside China just fine, not in China though. Since I can’t talk to anyone from support at UltraVPN about this, I’m going to cancel my subscription and get a refund.

Love it but.... Love it, it makes my games a lot more faster! There are no problems with the game but I do wish I could have premium for less money and u wouldn’t have to pay for premium every month or year.

SCAM. Good. I don’t really notice it unless I try to get on Macys website, & it won’t let me open the Macys app. My vpn at work causes problems with podcasts and other sites, this one does not.

What a wonderful vpn. I have to say it's quite great for using it for my schools wifi firewall and for getting onto porn at work or searching up other things, it's absolutely wonderful, but I wish there were more countries to choose from

Have to remove App to make a deposit. I’ve given repeated feedback of having to remove the app to be able to make a deposit with capital one bank, and other namebrand entities over the last year. It’s impossible for me to turn the app off. It turns back on when I’m trying to make a deposit. I’m seriously considering switching to another VPN.

Connection Issues. UltraVPN has not been able to fix my homepage connection issue with Yahoo Brazil.....I am in the USA!!! I also have to disconnect the VPN....in order to connect to some of my regular apps!!!!

Microsoft blocks my mail. I have your service and still my link is screwed up! Can’t send email… Seems to be working better! Thanks upgraded review as I am starting to see results!, return funds or we going to court, you won’t legally back me and you system blocks email! It gives me peace of mine. I just wish I didn’t have to turn it off for some apps to work.. There’s several things that won’t load while I am connected to this I have to turn it off I’d like I love it I just don’t like to be able to keep it on all the time.

Why I hate the app. I started my free trial and didn’t like it so I deleted the app and it is charging me $11 and so try to get removed and it didn’t work so I looked the the website and it didn’t help at all. I tried to figure it all out, but I couldn’t find the reason. I hope a developer reads this and calls so we can this sorted it all out. Please reply to this message so you won’t have to see this review, but in a month I will send another review and it will be bad for this app.

Not as advertised. Watch out for subscription, there is no way you can turn off the subscription from the App, have to dig that up from the website. To turn of. Go to iPad setting, iTunes and app, then hit your Apple ID , view your Apple ID, sign in your iTunes, then your account info pop up, godown to subscription, hit cancel trial. Then you better delete the app, they intentionally show the cancel button when you start the trail, then purposefully hid the Cancel button. Not Honest

Great app but, doesnt work at school!!!. I used to use this to get past my school wifi restrictions, which I think is how most people use it. But now my school requires that u give them ur mac address and can see if ur using a V.P.N , so if i turn on my vpn they will see it and boot me off..... wonder if theres another way.

Disconnects a lot. I’m using this vpn because it’s the only one that works. But it disconnects from the internet like every 5 minutes. I have started using it since yesterday & today it gave me the notification that I have used this app for 30 times already (obviously since I have to reconnect every 5 minutes) and asks for a five-star review. Sorry I can’t give you more than 2 stars but thanks for working anyway.

Free works better than paid. Right after becoming a premium member this vpn stopped working for the most part. However while using their free servers before purchasing a membership plan, it worked like a charm (relatively slow but stable). Reached out to their support team but the connection issues remain. This might be different if you reside outside China. But if I you are in China, I recommend sticking with the free plan.

I know it’s great but.... My friend uses this VPN all the time and I know that it is great. But then when I went to install the VPN it prompted me to get a paid subscription version of the app. However there was no button to close the screen and I am either forced to buy or not use it at all.

Hexatech. This app is a well-rounded, easy access app for getting into other websites our school blocks, but there are disadvantages that come along with this app as well. One, I am able to get into Instagram (an app that is blocked from our schools wifi) but when I want to use another app, it becomes slower and doesn’t the information I am being given.

Ads everywhere. Intermittent connectivity.. Recent update causes the app to disconnect when the device sleeps. So now I have no VPN when I am paying for it. I have disabled the “disconnect on sleep” feature and it still fails to stay connected. There are ads and pop ups and auto played videos and streamers and banners EVERYWHERE because this VPN has 0 ad blocking function… but it blocks my adblockers from working…

Great Customer Service (attempt), Poor Functionality. Too many apps are nonfunctional with VPN turned on. Tried to get the apps added to the VPN service (ex. Rainbird irrigation won’t work), but the agents choose to have you try workarounds rather than listen to the customer’s request. For the times it’s compatible, I’m satisfied. However, there are many apps, especially banking and credit union apps, that are not compatible.

Still learning more but so far five out of five. Phenomenal service quick speed however need to know more about where the server is located; Will re-update this review later. hard to contact developer or acquire about server location for am still testing...

Start up screen going straight to buying free trial. This was my all time favorite vpn to use an that i had re-download it i don’t like how it has changed to where you have to sign for a free trial in order to use it!!! It needs to be like every other app an have it optional to buy (try) the subscription an you still use the vpn without being hassled to purchase anything. So can you change it back like it was that would be great

Great VPN!. Hexatech works great! It actually works better than vpn blockers that you have to pay for. If you want more options then there is a feature to pay but the FREE VERSION works perfect! In a country where pandora won’t work Hexatech fixed that for me!

disconnects your WiFi ffs. This VPN 1 forgets subscription and every time it is started, bounced back to be logged out. Well then why bother paying for subscription if it can't hold to your login status? 2 disconnects randomly and quite frequently. To make it worse, it takes the wifi signals off with it. When this happens, on my iPhone 6s it will first connects and shows both wifi signals and VPN logo, then it disconnects and the VPN logo is off but then 4G is now on, and that's becoz it kills wifi connection when it randomly disconnects.

Exited to protect info. I am new to this kind of technology but so happy I found a secure way to access and deliver information meant for specific audience I had a Norton VPN but it quit working so looking for something more reliable. If my opinion changes about this particular I will repost. Kebs

Broken. I’ve tried everything and haven’t got it to work. I even purchased the premium subscription to no avail. I have restarted my phone and setup the profile many times and it always just says “connecting” then it goes back to connecting a few seconds later. I have even tried many different WiFi networks. Nothing has worked after hours of troubleshooting. Don’t get this app. It’s terrible and broken.

Prolly one of the best. i use this everyday when i get to school and have been for months now. so far it hasn’t messed up or stopped working, not even asked to pay! all in all one of the only VPN’s that i actually trust and use

Reliable and fast. Quick to connect, fast connection, and stable. Have used over FaceTime several times and the quality is excellent. Web browsing is also fast.

Experience. Being in an area where getting on the Internet is an issue, I have been extremely grateful to have found Hexatech! It really has been a relief and been so nice to be able to connect with the outside world! :)

Sometimes works. I use this app during school because it allows me to get on the internet, though it isn’t exactly the fastest. It takes 15 minutes ( over exaggerating ) to load one story on instagram. As you can tell from what I just stated, this app is extremely slow. It works well the first couple of days, but then it starts to go downhill from there.

Great App. Needs an option to auto disconnect under certain conditions like on the wireless provider network. It also needs to better detect the networks that have rules for them. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Works Great !!. So far so good! Ultra VPN works in the background and I never know it’s there, but I know I’m protected. I haven’t had any issues after using it on my phone and my other electronic devices.

Super product but can be made even better. Superb product... have bit of issues; mainly does not connect at times but very easy to use and no surprises or in-app purchases involved with the exception of adverts popping up to go premium but still ok. Strongly and unbiasedly recommended.

Don’t buy. App would always glitch or just not work at all. Got the free subscription and forgot to cancel it and just now realized it has been charging me. When I tried to download the app and log back into my account it was saying password/email is incorrect. Then when I did the “for my password” password recovery it was saying that neither of my emails are correct. I only ever use two emails and I am positive I made it with one of them.

Scam app, charge without notice. Without sign up an account, I got charged and renew the monthly plan for 3 months. I literally deleted this app in 5 minutes when I found out it’s not working at all after reading other’s review after downloading it. Do not download this scam app! If you did, make sure to check your subscription in the setting to make sure you won’t get any money loss. I would give 0 or lower to this app if there’s option.

Decent…hopefully getting better?. This works well overall. However, there are several sites where I have to turn the VPN off in order to continue on the site. It would be nice if this VPN worked on every site, or if there was a prompt letting me know that the VPN may potentially block that site and why so I can make an informed decision about how to proceed.

Cannot unsubscribe. Don’t buy this unless you’ve tried it with all your apps. I kept getting sent those annoying captcha sites every time I went to certain apps or a website. After a while, it got to the point where I gave up and deleted this app. Why is there no way to cancel the subscription Apple? That should be a requirement. When you go to the developers website there is NO support link. NO email link, nothing but a promo.

My VPN Experience. It has stopped 95% of Spam callers but at the same time it has slowed down my web browsing experience. Also it seems they have been hacked by someone. Last Friday I received an email that looked very official but was an attempt at a scam. So you still have to be on your toes.

Cheaper and superior to CyberGhost. My Gyberghost subscription finally ended so I went with the cheaper UltraVPN and not only is it cheaper, it's faster and does not freeze up. It's super smooth. I am thrilled with it.
