Great App for stat tracking but mini-game flawed. The app is great for tracking your Battlefront stats and that about it! The in app mini game though lacks big time if I'd paid for it I'd ask for my money back. I'll qualify that statement, in that it lacks proper game balance. Any strategy game that needs the AI to resort to cloaking units / multiple respawns / health re-gens in each game or each turn to make the game challenging is fundamentally flawed. If the game is about utilizing strategy to maintaining multipliers and creating the best specialized card decks I'm all about that but when they AI has been set to resort to "tricks" in order to defeat player decks it just lacks a true fun factor for me. There are plenty of other turn based strategy games that get the balance right, this one just seems to progressively get it wrong... a game should be fun / challenging without bordering on frustrating. It's just my opinion your may vary. In the end the Dev's probably don't read the reviews so won't fix the balancing on a "after thought" free-be of a game.

Too many crashes and bugs. Awesome otherwise!. I'm on iPod 5, which truly I believe to be the problem. Worked swimmingly until a few games on base command. Then it crashed. It continued to crash for a while until I could finally get a game to work. After beating it, it said it was unable to save progress for that game. I also cannot choose "restart," when I try to play a siege that crashed on me. I must resume, which upon loading crashes. Also, cards don't show their face, so I must tap to see what it is. I love the app, but could we try to make it iPod 5 compatible (I read others on the device having trouble as well). Thanks for reading!

Awesome!. I find this game to be very addicting, although I have only played the first few sieges. There is a good amount of strategy involved, and if you are buying starwars battlefront, it's nice to be able to get a few extra credits and see your stats easily. I don't think everyone really wants to spend a really long time ranking up to unlock everything in this game. The old one had everything for you right away so you can experience Star Wars the way you want, but honestly I don't mind because battlefront is Fing amazing!

Star Wars Battlefront Companion. I really like how they made a feature for your IOS device to link to your player in the actual game. I got the Xbox 1 and Star Wars Battlefront all on Monday. I set it up and this screen popped up. Star Wars battlefront Companion. I thought that was pretty cool so I gave it a try this is awesome!! Being able to rank up your character on your IOS is so cool Congrats to all who made this It was a really huge thumbs up I love all the work and effort you have done! This all worked out at the end and I hope this review was a vey helpful review and if it wasn't that I hope this can at least influence people to get this app STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT COMPANION!!!!!

I'm all set. Now I know what you guys are thinking when , I should change my load out maybe have the DL-44 or the DL-18, but I'm at friends house. Well the companion helps you with that, you can change your load out in the app, like your star cards or blaster without having wait to go home. so when you get back home you can go ahead and play without having to change your load out. when you're board you can go and and play the companion app you can customize you cards so you can Heroes and star fighters and enhances.

Best game I have ever played. I have been a Star Wars fan for a long time and I have played both of the original battlefront games. This game is not my favorite but amazing non the less. This app adds to that game which makes it even better. It makes you think wisely about your choices because if you make on bad move you could lose in sieges. The sieges make you have use your brain which a lot of games don't have you do that. Overall this is an amazing app which I would recommend to any die hard Star Wars battlefront fans. Great job to EA and DICE.

Really Fun!. I love this game, it's fun (and sometimes very rage-inducing) In battlefront I'm Rank 100 and have every star card/blaster, but still play this app because I think it's just fun, with a bonus! If your not Rank 100 with everything you can get in-game credits to get star cards and blasters while you play. Only downside to the app is that some levels are VERY rage-inducing. I mean VERY. Some levels I just cannot beat. However, the levels that I can beat are really fun. And I don't think that would make the game go to 4 stars.

Star Wars Battlefront Companion = Awesome Job EA. This has to be one of the best companion applications out there. It allows for easy changes and keeps you up to date. That being said, I am a "completionist" for this game only, and this app helped me track what challenges/accomplishments needed to be completed and so forth. It also includes a fun side-game called Base Command, which, once completed, provided and enormous amount of credits for in-game use. I think it can actually allow you certain advantages over those who do not have it. Overall, I believe it is fun, strategic in a sort of way, and helps you experience Star Wars Battlefront to Its fullest. Thank You Electronic Arts! 😁

It is great but.... I think that it is a great thing that you can use your credits on the go and update your career. It is also nice because you can see if your friends are online and it will alert you if your friends are online no matter where you are. But the game you can play "Base Command" is not as great. The first two or three levels are easy but then the difficulty ramps and you have to have a good deck. I think that it should be a little easier and I would find it much more fun to play. As of now I only use the app to see if my friends are on. If you own Star Wars Battlefront then this app is worth downloading.

A True Companion to the Main Game. What I enjoy so much about this app is that it truly complements the main game. It has all of your stats, load outs, store purchases, and progress available within the app. In addition, the base command game is a wonderful way to stay involved with your profile while away from the game. You can earn additional credits by simply playing base command and mastering it. I found it quite enjoyable. The progress you make in the main game affects what star cards you have available to purchase which can completely overhaul your deck. Both the main game and the companion app complement each other nicely and the fact that the app is free is a true bonus.

Good companion app. I like the way I can tweak my load outs and check out stats for my buddies and I on this app. Also the strategy game is fun, it's quick and serves as a nice way to earn a little money. The news updates are good, this app satisfies my Battlefront itch when I'm away from the game. I give it 5 stars because although I've played funner more addictive app games, this app requires me to spend ZERO real world dollars whatsoever. So I feel like I got a free functional app with my Battlefront purchase. I was telling a buddy how I wish The Witcher 3 had a companion app. I spent way too much time in the menu reading the bestiary, organizing my (very large) inventory, crafting and spells and also deciding where I wanted to go next in the enormous quest-filled world. CD Ptojekt RED should look at this app as a free product that may enhance the gaming experience

Great game - hard sometimes. Good game, turn-based strategy game. Not the greatest game out there but deserve a 5 star: progressive environment (card system to gain more abilities), great graphic, didn't bug much, and also simply because it's part of the Star Wars franchise... More variety in the mission would have made this game even better (although there is a daily mission to complete). Last but not least, this game is not very approachable and can be hard sometimes (especially if you want the 3 stars rating)...

Very Useful! Convenient!. This app has proven extremely beneficial in keeping track of my stats, bounties, accomplishments, and even keeping up with my friends to make sure they don't surpass me. I find it very simple and fun to have access to all of my detailed stats whenever I want to see them! This is a great app for what it is, and even has a fun game in the side! It's not very useful for getting credits, but that certainly isn't the purpose of the app. If your a serious, or casual battlefront gamer, download this app! You won't regret it! :)

Great Companion App. I'm not in any affiliation with EA, I'm just a dude who thought this app was pretty cool and needed to give it a good rating. All these people writing one or two star reviews probably can't figure out how to use the app and could also be running it without an internet connection or on an old device. I see no reason not to give this app 5 stars because it completely deserves it. The commander game is something else we have never really seen before from a companion app and I hope that this can really set a good example for future games and their companions. The ability to check stats, change load outs and see progress are all pretty standard and are what we expect from a companion. The Commander game really makes me happy though, all these guys saying "luck of the draw isn't fair" and "the game is made so you can win" aren't really thinking about what a card game really is. When your playing Chess and the guy across the table looks like he's going laugh his head off at your next move you don't just get up and punch him, you play your turn to the best of your knowledge and then you learn about the one really specific rule you just broke and lose the game because of it. You can't blame the rules or the guy across the table, but your self for not understanding the game.

Exceptionally helpful. It's tough to not give this app a 5 star rating, and if I could give it another half I would. The interface is awesome, the content is extremely helpful, and the mini game is fun and helps with Battlefront itself which is something I haven't seen before. The only issue I have with it is that, for my phone, it doesn't continuously update. I have to close the app and reopen it anew in order to update my rank. Also, the communication with the PS4 game requires an extra step in turning the game off and on again. With the Destiny Companion I had no trouble shifting items around on the app and it happening simultaneously on the PS4 game. 4.5/5

One of the Best. I have used several companion apps for games. These include the companions for Watchdogs, Until Dawn and Mortal Kombat X. All of these are great in their own way however the Star Wars Battlefront app has been my most pleasurable experience. The look, feel and UI are all in excellent condition. The app is also a blast to play with several strategies to use when defending your base, the gameplay rarely gets boring. I love the graphics of the app. Lastly it is a fun and helpful way to earn credits to use in the game while on the go helping you unlock some of the higher cost cards with much needed ease. This companion app truly feels like a companion and extension for Star Wars Battlefront that is not only worth your time but necessary.

Combine this with Battlelog and it'd be GREAT. Since the end of game scoreboard and stats flash by so fast, I have to create a movie clip just to see them. Why didn't you include the Battlelog stats, game activity, Battle Reports,... That have been on the Battlefield Battlelog web pages and apps for quite a while. I would think that either this app and/or the Webpage would have all of these features. I many ways, the battlefront pages are great at showing things like the blaster options, star cards,... But they do t go far enough. For something like the pulse cannon and the orbital strike, you should have some instructions on how to use them where they are shown.

Great if not better.. Before Battlefront, I used to play Destiny a lot as I waited for Battlefront to come out. I used the game app for it also. It was alright. When Battlefront came out, I thought I'd look to see if they had a game app for it. I expected it to be a lot like the Destiny app but I was wrong. This app is pretty much perfect. You can do everything but battle in the game app. The base companion is incredibly useful because when I'm not playing battlefront, I can play the base companion when I'm away from playing Battlefront which also gives use credits for your profile in the actual game. I highly recommend this app.

Recommended. Not many mobile games are good now a days, much less "companion apps" and such for big triple A games. But, as a matter of fact, this app took a good idea, jumped of the roof, and 360 no-socped it in the head, it is brilliant. I read critics whining about luck. Wake up! The world never goes like you expect, you can't have a flawless strategy right form the start, unexpected thing can and WILL happen (murphy's law), so one srict strategy won't cut it. You have to be able to improvise and adjust your strategy acordingly. This is why card games NEED luck, it is more realistic and teaches you important life skills. The concept of playing a fun strategy game to get credits it SW Battlefront to buy Star Cards which aid you in both Battlefront and this app is simply majestic. Congratulations developers, you made millions of SW fans smile. May the force be with you.

Best Game Companion App. After so many Companion apps that are lacking these days EA did it right. Simple but with plenty of tools and a challenging mini game. My only problem is that the daily siege challenge for the Base Command. You have 24 hours to complete but the clock doesn't go by a set hour like noon everyday, it's starts when you open the app. So if you open it at 7pm you have 24 hours to complete it. The problem with this is if you open it at 7pm and finish it, you now have to wait to 7pm the next day. This continues until you miss a day. I wish it would follow a noon start like the game's daily challenge does. I doubt EA will make the change to this app as the last DLC had been released but I would be happy to see it in the Battlefront 2's Companion app Edit: my one fault with the game was corrected at some point so I updated my rating. Hope this bring this app to Battlefront 2.

Not what I was expecting.. When I read "companion app", I expected a basic way to keep me informed of updates, to be notified of friends online. Well it does that, and I greatly enjoy the strategy element to the companion app. It goes well beyond a separate game that I can burn time while at work, waiting to get home and fire up the main game. I was stunned to realize that main game achievements and unlockables are directly linked to the companion game achievements and unlockables, and vice versa. The strategy elements are solid, yet basic. Easy to play but very challenging. Having grown up on old school strategy games, I am very picky about them, but this one surprised me. I daresay this is more of a necessary app, not just an optional companion app.

Base Command is fun and earns you in-game credits for Star Wars Battlefront!. The highlight of the Star Wars Battlefront Companion is its strategic Base Command game. You can earn in-game credits in the HD game by playing Base Command on the go. There's a ton of missions (Sieges) as well. The ability to purchase weapons and items to optimize your battle load-outs is also a welcome feature that wasn't previously available in other Companion apps like Battlelog. I can't wait to also use the Companion app to find out when my friends are playing online. I'll certainly be playing a lot!

Solid Companion App. Cool game and other features are nice too. Works really well with the console game. Casual play and daily sieges gave me a lot of credits for use on Xbox One. All stars are possible; I have three on every mission. Some are very hard and require not only zero units losing in battle after your first kill (no multiplier reductions) but also a significant number of unit rank-up points. You're gonna need to play the console game and unlock better cards that's the point, you can't just play the companion and do well past the first handful of missions. For one or two missions it may be necessary to restart once or twice for a good enough starting hand if you don't have all of the best cards (I'm still missing a few good ones like Millennium Falcon). But playing the companion for extra credits then the game for better cards works well and is solidly balanced, with only a couple of third stars being exceptionally difficult.

Great app! 5 Star reviews fake? Please.. Short version: This app is just awesome. And it's free. Longer version: "90% of the 4-5 star reviews are fake"? No, of course not. Only a bad app would need to do something like that. This app is great. I can look at my stats, my KDR, and I can buy and equip stuff from my iPad. But my favorite part is the strategy game. The only reason you see people saying stuff like, "The game is fun for the first few matches, but then gets stupid and frustrating" or "too much 'luck of the draw'" is probably because their not that great at it. Also, the reliance on luck thing, isn't really true. You can customize decks of star cards, so you only use cards you want, and you can discard both unit and star cards. You just gotta use strategy. I've beaten most of the levels on it and I think it's pretty fun. Getting 3 stars on every level will probably be a bit more of a challenge, but what's a game without hardness? You also earn credits for the full game while playing the app. It's awesome! There's a reason why there's so many good reviews.

Enjoyable.. I really like this app. Part of the reason because I can easily navigate my account and stats without having to waste time firing up the Xbox. The only issue I'm having, and, well, I'm sure it is easy to fix and I am just fighting blind, is that it says my account is logged into PC. Now... How is that even possible? It shows my Xbox gamertag and then below: a big sign saying "PC". And I also do not game on PC. It is very frustrating to me to not have the ability to see my stats and operate for REAL. Overall, very good app. However, another slight problem. I feel base command is far too hard to get 3 stars from. Anyways.. I'm out.

A Great App. When I saw the Base Command game I didn't think I'd like it but I played it and its actually pretty fun. I also think that if you play Star Wars Battlefront it is a excellent app to have since you can see all your stats (even more stats than you can on your Battlefront account on PS4 or Xbox). It's also helpful because you can see if your friends on your console are playing right now. I would definitely recommend this app to anybody who plays Battlefront and to people who like strategy games.

Useful and promising. It is an easy way to get credits for the game on the go. I am a big Star Wars fan and already have a decent amount of credits for when the game drops. It is also nice that you can change things about your character on the go, and you get constant updates. The only thing I worry about is that the base command will have a limited amount of levels, which will render the game useless when you complete all the levels. Hopefully that is not the case, and there is unlimited levels.

Maybe add a Commander to Full Game?. This companion app is somewhat similar to the Battlelog for Battlefield- hello, EA Games of course its similar Hahaha. But Yeah, you get to see your game progress from anywhere and customize your setup whenever you are not nearby your pc or console. But how about a Battlefront Commander? Where you can send helful stuff to your teammates and activate a field radar to detect stragglers or perhaps fire a shot from the Death Star or Rebel-Equivalent to decimate your enemies alongside the full game servers? But its just me, i don't know, think about it. Other than that great app, recommended to all.

Base Command is loads of fun. I wasn't expecting much when I downloaded the app, but the Base Command game is fantastic. I haven't played Battlefront in a couple months, but I still pull up Base Command every couple of days. I wish that there were more challenges or perhaps it was a little more difficult to get three stars since I three starred every level ages ago. I can't even remember the last time I got less than 3 stars on a daily siege and I don't even have everything unlocked, but it is still a fun little mobile game nonetheless and I definitely don't consider myself a mobile gamer. Note: I can't speak as to the rest of the apps features as I never use them. I just pull it up for Base Command.

Mobile version of Battlefront. I love this companion app but it’s not much. I have Battlefront 2 on my Xbox, but I want to have a Battlefront game specifically for mobile. Like it’s own game and not a port that doesn’t work very well. It would be free to play but still have in-app purchases, like crystals. The only way to buy appearances is by crystals or something. Have some characters from Battlefront 2 and Battlefront, have them be free to play. Add some of the maps from Battlefront 2 and Battlefront. But don’t put in way too much, because so that they buy your games. I’m not trying to tell you how to make your games, but these are suggestions the community would like. Thank you for your time!

Game often fails to save.. This game seemed fun at first. Then it stopped saving and got annoying. The May the 4th final mission doesn’t save. I’ve beat it at least 5 times. Now every time I want to play instead of continuing the campaign I have to select the mission I want. Then today it won’t save the daily challenge. It says something went wrong do you ant to retry, but it NEVER saves no matter how many times you tell it to. Huge waste of time and frustration. Ps. I thought it was because I had an old phone, but last week I got a brand new phone with lots of extra memory and it still won’t save every level I complete.

Frustrating. Now, I already know this is a great game. I have played it on a PS4 and I thought to get it on my phone. So I downloaded this app and go through the long process of creating my account only to have it tell me it is having trouble creating my account and to try again later. I delete the app and try again a week later and get the same message. I tried rebooting my phone, changing my WiFi, and make sure I was up to date. In the end it still isn’t working and I have given up. Fix this please!!!

Best Star Wars game on IOS. I thought this was just going to be a companion, but it’s actually it’s own game! The game you play is almost as fun as the actual battlefront game itself. It is challenging, and won’t just take a week to complete. There is about 150 levels plus a daily level everyday. I find the most fun and challenging way to play the game is to not use hero cards, but just the basic cards (X-wing, T-47, rebel trooper, etc.), but that’s just my opinion. No matter how you play it this game is amazing. It is better than any other Star Wars IOS game I’ve played (Better than Galaxy of Heroes). Again, it’s challenging, but that’s the point of the game. I’ve just recently downloaded all the IOS Star Wars games and this one by far is the best!

Now I get it!. Like most, I was a bit disappointed on the whole Battlefront hype. With the Companion, I now realize, Battlefront is a completely different game perhaps aimed to others apart from your heavy fps hardcore gamer. The link between Companion and Battlefront is just short of genius. By playing Companion and trying to get cards and accomplish things, you get to be trained and acquainted with Battlefront controls and features... That's why you can't find a manual anywhere. And thus you build on skills for both platforms. Great games both of them!

EA please update this game. I love this game. Absolutely love it. Base command alone, not even as a companion app, but it was great as a companion app too. I personally enjoy Battlefront I more than II, and this app made the game more fun bc it gave me something to do and encouraged me to try out different star cards so that i could use them in base command, and vice versa. EA please. I know you’ve decided to sunset this game, but look at these reviews. Consistently, almost weekly if not more often people are STILL fighting for this game to come back. Please. Please just update it. I miss this game so much

It's okay..BUT ONLY WORKS HALF THE TIME. The App is just slightly above your average Companion App, but it ONLY WORKS SOMETIMES. Changing customization options and viewing stats are standard. Base Command, the mini-game in the App, is an innovative idea and makes this app different from others. It provides incentive by offering credits for surviving sieges. Star Cards in the main game, once unlocked and purchased, can be added to your deck and can help you win. It is a fun strategy game. Albeit the game relies mostly on the luck of the draw. The biggest downside, for me, is that the app doesn't work sometimes. Upon entering the app (when it doesn't work), you will see it display "Error... Try Again" but no matter how many times you press Try Again, it will not run. (I also run it on my iPhone 6)

Some potential but falls short. This game/app is easy enough to pick up and can be fairly addicting. That being said, the lack of being able to get new and better cards, combined with the punishingly fast ramp up in difficulty means being stuck and frustrated. You pass these endless seeming levels with little reward. I think it's 50 credits on a three star. 50 credits to spend on nothing! There's no card store! Actually. Your reward is using the same starter deck to fight until you hit the wall of death. And you WILl hit it. Look, stealth AT-ATs that have armor, you don't see until they are on top of you, and because they are top of you, all your regular space ships can't attack it! (Minimum range on xwings and snow shuttles) if you somehow manage to get past that, you face enemy heroes that are demigods on the battlefield. You have to kill them in one round or they heal to full. And they respawn where you killed them so they just make this endless march right into your base! I like Star Wars, and I have played magic and hearthstone. I wanted to like this game but if it can stump me, it will stump all but the most hardcore players. You may not believe me now, but you will leave the game agreeing with me! Mark my words. Uninstalling and never again!

Needs forums section!. Great for checking up on your stats and other accomplishments. It's also fun to compare your stats to your friends. Being able to purchase and equip stuff is helpful, while playing with the app I can buy more charges for a card if I need them. I don't really bother with the base command part, other than to get the one challenge done. Only thing this app is missing is a forum section!! This game needs a place where people who love it can talk, and make new friends. Include that in the next update and this app gets 5 stars!

Game is good but very flawed. The gameplay is fairly entertaining and keeps you engaged. Also very good for a companion app. But my main problem is the score multiplier to get 3 stars in matches. I find myself playing perfect games not losing a single ship, health,or shield, reaching 3x as soon as possible, killing all units with only my ships and still unable to hit 3 stars in a match. A lot of times my score goes right ONTO the 3rd star but for some reason can't get past that. You'd think that playing a perfect game despite the "luck of the draw" cards would get you 3 stars. This needs to be fixed, a botched system like this makes it a little too frustrating.

Neat idea but entirely flawed. Like most battle card games, Star Wars companion is built worse then the rest. Download the app and you'll see for yourself. The games you lose you most likely had no chance of ever winning. LISTEN UP GAME CREATORS: every single match, game, demo, turn, whatever should give the player a fair chance of winning. Stop this "luck of the draw" mentality NOW! It's pathetic and thoughtless. Reviewing the game and it's simple math. Six cards with 2 switches.. No mana, use all the cards (if you can). The game was created so you will win, and lose.. But the result has nothing to do with the players abilities (rare cases maybe based on math education levels). This app carries he Star Wars branding, I would have expected greatness. Developers and analysts on this project don't have a clue how to use "the force".

Not lucrative but not bad, crashes:(. A way to get in game credits when can't play the actual Battlefront game and some hints and see friends in game stats is what this is yes? Yes, it is. The problem is you don't get much for your trouble, (about as much as if you play a crappy match on battlefront for each minigame), if you are good at that kind of thing... And IF you can get the game to launch without crashing... I am on my ipod5? Or whatever the latest one is, and the game worked fine until about the 4-6th game then it crashed when i tried to launch it, 2 games later it has crashed 4 times trying to launch the game from it now...I will try to reinstall but if it don't work or keeps this up i may drop to 2stars. Would be 5 if i got at least 1k credits per game for all the brainwork I put into it AND it worked all the time. But until then 1 starfighter match on battlefront is more fun, takes less time and gives me at least 2x the credits +xp... So ya fix it or ill just stick to the actual game... Great try though:)

Base Command surprisingly fun and useful!. I pre ordered Battlefront months ago and was so hyper for the game that I immediately downloaded the companion app as well when it launched. I'm not a fan of top-down fort building and defense games since I think they're boring. At first glance, Base Command looked boring, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! The game is surprisingly addictive and I've already beat all 8 missions at least three times. I like how playing base command gives me credits used in Star Wars Battlefront. I haven't even played Battlefront yet and I already have 2400 credits from the start tomorrow! On average, you would get about 500 credits per match in the beta so by playing base command, I'm about 5 matches ahead of the games launch!!!! Woo!

Great app as companion and stand alone card game. The game is a great companion to review and manage your stats and load-outs respectively in Battlefront. I also highly enjoy the base command game within the app. I read in other reviews that it is random and they have no control but that is how card games work. What is creative about this app is that your progress from the actual Battlefront game (on PC, PS4, XBOX) unlocks cards for you to help you build custom decks for added options in game play. You can still enjoy this app playing base command even if you don't connect to the Battlefront game on the systems mentioned earlier, but I am not sure how far you can get playing the game. My only constructive criticism is that I wish I could play base command offline (since it won't save progress offline). I also wish there was something that you can use the app as a companion during Battlefront gameplay. 5 stars for me in terms of creativity and functionality, one of my favorite games.

This is exactly what I expected from the app. This app is perfect for the Star Wars Battlefront game. It has the same feel and has all the right components to make it a great app. It helps to be able to connect to Star Wars no matter where you are and be able to change things within your account in the game. Such as star cards, blasters, and appearance. There is a mini game that comes with the app too. Along with the game p, credits can be earned that can be used in Star Wars Battlefront. It is not as fun as the real game but it is still an interesting and fun strategy game. This app is worth getting if you have the game.

Good Tie In. This is a good companion to Battlefront. Let's you review the star cards, weapons, and even adjust them when away from the full game. You can also view stats on you and your friends. You'll get notifications when friends start playing Battlefront too. The mini game, Base Command, is an OK time waster, but it gets hard to advanced pretty quickly. You'll need to play the full Battlefront game to unlike more powerful cards to beat levels, but that in turn earns credits to be used in the full game.

Don't See Much To Do. First off I just want to say that I love the simplicity of the videogame. But the companion for the game isn't the best. All I can see to do on the companion is look up tips and hints that the developers post. Other than that I don't see any use for the app. Being able to equip things through the app I found is kind of useless since you can just do it in game. There is always the battle command game (or whatever it's called) but for some reason it crashes every time I try to launch it. I've only got it to work one time through my one-hundred tries but all I was able to do was the tutorial before it crashed again. (If you are wondering I'm using the iphone 4s) Even though I use the 4s the base command game is still suppose to work.

Well Executed. Much like the Destiny app, this will let you edit your loadouts and aesthetic appearance on the fly. This app kinda one-ups destiny though by including a pretty decent tower defense/battle card game to go along with the theme DICE decided on for this game: very true to the Star Wars universe but not overly serious with a dash of randomness thrown into the mix to make you think on your feet. The app has only crashed on me once and that was pre-launch, so stability is good. All in all, I would gladly recommend using this in conjunction with Battlefront given its usefulness.

Good game, but the constant crashing.. The Battlefront Companion is definitely a game to get. It's fun, it helps your Battlefront profile, and above all ... it's free. My only issue with the game is that it likes to crash on me either when I'm loading a campaign mission or just when I'm finally about to win a mission that has taken me several tries and victory is in my reach, and then it lags out and crashes. It's quite a terrible feeling when success is just a tap away and you lose everything, but I digress. I have been able to resume a mission after crashing before, but every time I have, the game crashes again 99% of the time. I know I'm not the only one that has had this issue. Don't know if it is a server thing or what, but EA or Dice or whoever ... if you could fix this issue that'd be grrrreat! Again, great game, it's worth getting y'all Star Wars hopefuls ... could do with a few less crashes though ...

Challenging but fun. I find this game challenging to get 3 stars on the sieges. But the challenge is fun and gives my old brain a workout in coming up with a winning strategy. I try to figure out how to adjust my deck of cards to have the best chance to win. I engage enemy units as far out as possible because if you wait they will overwhelm you. The key to me is to not lose the multiplier. I try to figure out when I can engage and have a draw which gives the enemy damage and weakens them but does not cost me the multiplier. Only when I am sure I can get a draw or win do I attack. The random critical hit can mess up that strategy and if that happens I just have to try again. I use the cards as quickly as I can even when using one will not give maximum damage if I were to wait a turn or two i.e. I don't wait until the maximum enemy spawn in a sector before using the orbital strike. Holding a card reduces the chance of getting another useful card. And I will discard a card hoping to get it later when it may be more useful. Having maximum shields at the end is also key. Having the squad shield card toward the end to rebuild the shields is key to that. And toward the end if I have a choice of using a card or unit to defeat an enemy I will go with the unit to get the rank up points. I use Princess Leia to defeat Boba Fett because she can defeat him and take away his re-spawn perk. Anyway a fun time killer that gives my brain a workout to come up with a winning strategy.

Fun, informative. I played BF when it first came out then put it down for a year. I recently got back into it after all the expansions have been released and I'm all in. The app is very helpful for tracking weapon kills for achievement/trophy hunting. Base Commander is fun in a pinch when you have a few minutes to kill. It does have troubling ramps in difficulty and can be quite frustrating. However, if you keep playing a campaign match and losing it'll lower the difficulty. The credits earned can be helpful, though the percentage earned is stingy. I've never encountered any bugs or crashes.

Battlefront 2?. Hey this app was great to check my credits, scores and achievements throughout playing Battlefront, but seeing that it’s now Battlefront 2 that everyone plays will there be a new application similar to this one for the new game? Keep up the great work!

Great from a break of Battlefront. Took a quick break to grab a beer and thought, quick game before I get back to serious battlefront. 3 hours later and I'm still going...

Nice and easy!. Great little app where I can show off all my stats on the go. It's very handy to see when my friends are playing too, so I can jump straight in and join the fight!

Problem?. My stats rank star cards weapons and so on aren't there I don't know why but there's nothing in the game on console that says I can log in for EA to keep my stats and rank up to date on the companion app so why is it that the console game says oh hey get the app but there's no way to connect console to app or at least just for me?

Base Command troops are imbalanced. Companion app is great, however after 5 missions, it becomes impossible to get three stars in Base Command. Walkers are crazy strong, and the penalty for losing a unit is way too big! I was one quarter away from 3x multiplier, lost a unit, and my multiplier went all the way back down to 1. Now lost interest in that game, which until that point, was a great way of earning extra credits for Battlefront. Disappointing.

Star Wars battlefront companion. Star Wars battlefront companion is an app that allows Star Wars battlefront players to access their profile from an iPad, phone ect. You can customise your hands as well as complete sieges that show on your overview as a bit of pride.

Neatoriffic. This is a pretty AWESOME app. It makes an excellent companion app, helping me decide what to buy & use & helping me equip said items. It's also a fun little game that's a great way to earn a bit of cash on the side (unless you're me & you play it more than you play the actual Battlefront game, then it's a pretty darn good way to earn a lotta dough).

Great app.. Just downloaded it it's a very handy app to happen it works very smoothly play happy with purchase of Star Wars battlefront app and Andy when you're away from the console.

Awesome companion app for Battlefront!. This app is incredibly handy, in case I want to check the latest news or purchase something in game, the Battlefront Companion app has everything when you're not playing the direct game. Thanks for the amazing effort towards Battlefront and this companion app DICE and EA you guys always stun us! Can't wait till Battlefront 2 in 2017!

Star Wars Battlefront Compainion App. A great way to kill time, during work or at home... A great way to customise your character in game prior to playing. Also changing the trait also changes the rebel soldiers ability in command which is awesome...

How it should be.. Excellent and easy to use app that complements the game perfectly. Has a fun mini game the contributes to your battlefront profile and shows all your stats. Big ups to Dice for nailing it.

Not enough stats. Needs more stats, the stats gathered are meaningless without context and the numbers are getting so large they don't feel like an achievement to do anything, the ability to see if ratios for different game types and maybe see stats for last 5 matches would be good too. The card game is pretty clunky

Awesome game. I have just started and it is a great way for me to get credits and it is great that you can see all of the star cards, blasters and hutt contracts love this game and I hope that it has another update in the future thx again for making this game so good.

Helpful. It is a really helpful app that any player of the game should have . From being able to track your progress and change equipment with out have to access the game directly . Form me I love the notifications on my iPad so I know friends are online playing . A must have !

Great Companion app BUT.... This is a great companion app but I wish their was a way to find out how much money you have earned. I know you can see how much money you have but I wish i could see the additional money from this app thanks developers for another excellent game and companion app

Really Great!. A very handy app that allows me to check up on my stats (and my friends), as well as earn credits for the game by playing base command.

Great. The app is awesome. It helps you out to get more money in Star Wars battlefront itself. You would not be needing to be in your house generating money on your console or pc. And its helpful that you can even upgrade and buy trait cards and other things for your games and even weapons. 😀

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. this app is so helpfull i lobe the real game aswell, i have it on ps4 and the graphics are out of this world. I am also a huge star wars fan so its great. its like cod but less violent and more fun. Well done Dice and EA

Star Wars Relief. This is a great companion app, it helps you customise your inventory just the way you want it before your decide to act silly play, or even during. I also love the fact that of for some reason I can't play battlefront, but still am in the Star Wars mood, I can play the base command mini game that comes with it.

Why don’t you?.... Why don’t you create Star Wars battlefront 2 it would be really cool I write this cause this has got good ratings so why wouldn’t you create a new iPad battlefront 2?

Nice app. I've had this for while it comes in handy if you got some awesome ideas for a load out and out some where you make it in the app which is cool like how battlefield does it.

Great!!!😋. This is a smooth running companion app you e done a great job on it the Base Command is great and that you can get points on it is a great addition this app is a must for anyone who has BattleFront 3

Very good!!. This app is really nice, the mini game is amazing, and really fun, plus this app gives you all the latest new on battlefront. I only have had a few problems, like the mini game dropping out, but that was fine because you can start from where you left off

Very solid app!!. This app is a great companion to the game. It's good to be able to change my appearance, hands and view my hurt contracts for the main game, while still being able to play 'base commander'. My only problem with the app is it seems to have trouble connecting to servers a lot. Over all very good. Would recommend.

Flawless. Works perfectly with no glitches or bugs, can buy or change anything that's in the console version. One of the best companions out.

Star Wars battlefront in 2019. I still currently play Star Wars battlefront 2015 in 2019 and it’s so so so fun. I have been playing since 2015 and this app is so good to see your history and manage your account

Great working app. I really enjoy this app and it allows you to use many good features when away from the main battlefront game

Good fun. Has kept me occupied at work for hours! Hope there'll some new games to play soon (Base Command). Disappointed by not being able to see game-by-game stats (Battlefront). Battlelog was better for all that.

Really useful but crashes. The app is very useful and I am always using it to check my In game stats. The only problem is that base command always crashes so hopefully next update this bug is fixed. Then I would rate 5 stars.

Pick n Play strategy. The developer has done a very good job in creating this card based strategy game - Base Command - that has a simple, intuitive interface and yet a robust unit roster with 'perks' and star card multipliers. The fact that it allows you to generate space credits to spend on upgrades in Star Wars Battlefront makes the reward system all the more satisfying.

Great game.. Bought it even before I got battlefront and so glad i did. They have made it fun and it really does help with the game. All up definitely *****!

Dads thoughts. My son plays Battlefront regularly. While he plays BF I play basecommand and think the combo is great. We argue about Huttoncontacts weapon upgrades that challenge his skills on BF. Recommend to anyone for wholesome family fun.

Perfect companion app. From the ability to customise star cards, to the base command game, this app is perfect. Love how the unlocking system encourages gameplay between the app and main game.

Overall good but needs work. Your work that you have done is very good but it could be better by adding more things to do in it but still overall great just could use some work.

Great Companion App. First of all I want to say thank you dice for creating a companion app. This app is excellent, is great to manage your character and is easy to see your rank and achievements. The app is set out extremely well and the addition of base command is an excellent feature and a fun mini game to play when you don't have access to a PC or console. I just can't wait to use the rest of the functions available when the full game is released later this month. thank you dice for a good companion app so far.

Works amazingly. This app tells me when my friends are on and we compare and check each others k/d's and compete. Also base command can help you develop your character, because it gives you credits. It's a great way to modify your character and update your character when you are away.

Some limits but a good addition. Great to have a way to get a few extra credits, see who's online amongst friends, check out cards and unlocks and generally bask in your own successes. The only limitation would be the replay value of base command, which got a little stale after a while.

mobile to console brilliance. This is the best mobile to console game I've played. The campaign is fun and challenging and I recommend this game to anyone who plays battlefront on console and pc.

Good Game. This game is great if you have Star Wars battlefront on a console because it can get you lots of credits and even if you don't have Star Wars battlefront on the console it's still a good stand alone game, great job guys and keep the updates rolling because there need to be more modes but besides that GREAT STAR WARS GAME

Absolutely amazing!. This app is great! I no longer have to log into Xbox just to check my stats, plus I can do it anywhere. Love the ability to change it from the device, and to connect with your friends just by this, not a huge fan of base command, but everything else is perfect. Just what I wanted.

Love it!. This app is great. It gives you more stats than the battlefront game and it also tells you when your friends are playing it to. The companion game is good. It is hard to get the hang of but fun to play. It gives you credits that transfer to your battlefront account to use. This is a great app, I recommend this to anybody that is a battlefront player.

Jett reviews. This is the only app that I have rated and it is awesome. It is a great way to see what you up to in battlefront and totally useful i am on it every day since I have got the app I recommend this app GET IT

Awesome game and gains credits to use in the game. Great game and your able to power up your cards for the game. Just wish there were more levels to be had.

Great companion app but some bugs. I love the app. The game is well designed and I like how you earn credits for battlefront through the app and star cards for the app through Battlefront. However I've had some bugs with crashing and on one occasion losing all my progress which is why I've only given 3 stars. Without the bugs it's a 5 star app.

Amazing but no longer compatible. This is from 2022 and the game is kinda still alive with a small player base but this companion app was good for base command but sadly this game has been dumped in the dust and won’t be worked on and since it needs to be updated for the new iOs update it wont ever be able to be played again which is sad Please update the game so it could be played again

Handy to have. Very handy can be used while your playing and handy off line to set up your blasters for your next match

Great App. It works, does what it says it does only thing missing is a companion map that you could use like the battlelog one does for battlefield

Should've downloaded this earlier.. I only downloaded to get the trophy to find that it gives you a hell of a lot more stars than the game itself gives you.

Battlefront companion. I am so happy that we have a companion app! This is one of my most favourite games so it's great I can access my progress without opening up my Xbox! :)

Very cool 😎. A great companion app! Great to be able to see what rank and what star cards/weapons friends are at. More news on future updates or additions welcome but we'll set out and easy to use😊

Good game. I love this game

Update. Please update IOS

:/. Does battle front only work for consoles? I use tablet :/ and i cant figure out how to buy things.... can i only buy things in base command on console?

Battlefront II part. I love Star Wars Battlefront companion but it would be awesome if you could put a Battlefront II part to this. Also speaking of Battlefront II, will we permanently have some of the most favourited new modes you are making for Battlefront II? And I was thinking of a zombie like mode for Star Wars, and then I thought of the mind controlled geonosians in the clone wars where the troopers had to kill their queen, just as a suggestion, but I think it would be pretty amazing. EDIT: For Battlefront II I thought it was better when you could choose your own customized gun and star cards you could have from Battlefront, also if the maps and other things from Battlefront were in Battlefront II that would be THE BEST! Sorry this is such a long review and I LOVE Star Wars!

Good game. Hey Best game ever

Potato. I thought this was bad till I found out I can get credits.

Sooooooo goooooood. It really good not like the real ps or Xbox game though still like it no ads or bugs doesn’t glich ether

Make one for Battlefront 2. Please

This game sucks!. There is noooooo action candy crush is more exciting than this! If u don't have it don't get it get a PS4 and play it there

What you’d expect.. Exactly what I’d expect from a free app for a game I got on sale. So I’m happy.

I am confused. Is this like the console version?if it is not the person who made this version ai a son of a slemo a nerf herder (and scruffy looking 😎)and a @###!and this game is a big pile of Poodo!

PLEASE UPDATE. Nobody probably cares about this product anymore but can you please just update to the latest iOS? I have positive memories of this game and really wished to revisit it.

Awesome. It is awesome I really like it but wut is with the photo u see on the front u cannot have only joined battlefront 4 days ago an be a rank 33 and have 54,000 credits. Still 5 star yet wen u get the actual game first u hav a bit of getting on it took me 1 year and it was mainly my password. But still 5 stars XD

Overall. Very useful and awesome to get the info your looking for

A P P I S S O G O O D. You can play a very fun mode called base command (not gonna explain because there is an ingame tutorial) and you can earn free credits from completing missions. 10/10 EA!

Make one for battle front 2. Make one for battle front 2

Please update. Please update this game. I know that many people like me have downloaded this app to maybe enjoy a classic again, only to get the: “The Developer of this app needs to update it in order to work on this IOS.” I miss battlefront 1 and wish you could make this so run on newer iOS models.

fun game. enjoying this one!

Saving Error. I have no idea why, but Base Command is having a lot of difficulty with saving; it keeps saying there is an error.

Sad. I hoped that this would be fun but it won’t let me play because I don’t have an ea account

Update it for apple iPhone ten and I will be happy please. It says to me you have to update it to make in compatible with this iOS user bro

Good app. Decent

Battlefront 2. Make one for battlefront 2

Bullsh##. Can you just update the version already like I wanna play this game like this is straight up ridiculous

Cool. Really cool minigame

Gooood. Great game.Highly recommended

Game not updated. Update the game for the new IOS

Where is battlefront 2 companion. I love the companion app feature in most games and I hate to see that battlefront only works on the first one. I would love see see another companion app for battlefront 2 plus I don’t think the first one will have a big community to even play the companion app. Please make a second one

BF2. Make one for BF2

Battlefront II. This is a great app but you need to include battlefront II !

Sucks. This game doesn’t work for me

Does not work. It keeps saying “sorry, please try again later” when i open the app, does this happen to anyone else?

decent. pretty good. makes the in game loading times a little more bearable.

Not working 4 Battlefront2. They should do the same thing for battlefront 2. They would make hella money and i would be happy

Review. Love it

Wut. How do I play missing this a big problem cuz I can’t level so I can’t win in Base command.

Nice additional play style. Nice additional play style

Vraiment utile !. Super ! 😁

Login with Xbox. Can I login with my Xbox account?

10/10. Best game ever.

Battlefront. Fun game but gets boring after a while.

Best. Best thing I ever tried on mobile for battlefront

Galactic Civil War map Scarif BF2. When the Galactic Civil War era comes to instant action, could Scarif be added as well along with appearance skins for the Stormtrooper like the Shoretrooper which would be a great skin to have and play with, please add it in some future update, so we can use it along with other skins.

?. I can’t figure out how to put my account on.

Update. This was a good app, but the fact that i can’t use it due to it not being updated to the latest IOS is frustrating, please update it

Best made game. Such an amazingly awesome game definitely recommended for any Star Wars fan download it now

Very Nice and fun. Very Nice and fun

O there you are. I picked this app up while on a mediclorean high but duke and fartoo love this little app. Playing laser tag as the Dominators is just the bees knees. Now for the real review: this is a fun little app that gives me something to do while waiting for Star Wars and help forget about how useless the pip-boy app is. I am a huge Star Wars fan okay not huge just big boned. The mini-game does the app justice even though I can not beat boba fet which I expected anyway.

Good idea. I can't really see a real purpose for this app in relation to Battlefront. I must admit, though, having the stat info on my phone is handy. But, if it wasn't for the shared terminology and graphics, the command game itself has nothing to do with the parent game. As a standalone game it's ok; I'm not really a turn-based or card game kind of person, though. Even so, I find myself playing one or two siege rounds just to exercise my "strategic thinking". Together, thought, (the stats plus the entertaining command game), make it a worthwhile so to have.

Greatest extension to a console game ever!. It is great for beginners of a shooter game if they want extra currency, yet it is recommended to first make the EA account then link the game, then app. I made the account on the app first, then made a lot of progress on it. When I linked the game to the account, my progress went back to the start! Turns out the progress I made on the app is from the PC version, so when I linked to my PS4 game, the progress is in sync with my PS4! But regardless, this app is a good extension to up my game.

Decent game but nice as a support app.. The card game isn't terrible but also isn't all that fun imo. I do like this app as a companion app for SWBF. It lets me see stats that I can't look at in game, edit my hand, character, and weapons. One other nice thing is being able to earn extra credits for use in SWBF. I have also never had it crash. My main issue is that they basically force you to use this app, at least if you want to see detailed stats.

Critics calm down. Just remember, this is a FREE optional mobile game that can slightly help you with your star card points when you're not playing Battlefront on your console. I say it's pretty fun when I am not home. Without the epic space battles, the "turns" in this game 'slightly' reminds me of Galactic Conquest from BF2! A fun addition to this game would be if we could playing as the imperials and be the ones attacking the base as any side. This will pacify me until I see you on the battlefront!

Battlefront's personal guide. This app has helped me out more than once. It has an incredible method of combining a console experience into a mobile app. You can check your career status in game, unlock weapons, cards, traits, and earn credits by playing this game. It also tells you when your friends are playing as well. It is a bit laggy on my end, but I blame my old iPhone 4.

Makes the game complete. I think that the idea of being able to play a fun battlefront game, then going out and being able to earn credits, then transferring them to your Xbox is an amazing idea that this game pulled off masterfully. It really hasn't been done before, making it a fresh new idea. Even if I'm not playing base command, it's fun just to hang out on the app and customize star card hands and that kind of stuff. Great app and I can't wait to see the movie!!!!!

VERY helpful companion app!. This app not only shows all of your stats and weapons, it lets you change things like contracts and load outs. You can also see which of your friends are currently playing via the game or the app. But I think the best part is the fact that by playing the base command mini-game, you actually earn credits for your battlefront account. This is a must have application for all Star Wars Battlefront players.

Definitely worthwhile. There are so many stats to keep track of in Battlefront— this app is a suuuuper useful tool to keep them all organized, and I like to keep it open and handy while I'm playing, as the correlating statistics update in realtime. The inclusion of Base Command is great as well, and gives the app a bit more to offer. I don't often use these companion apps, but this one has set the bar.

Blew expectations out of the water. I originally got this app just to receive news regarding the game. However, I soon realized this companion also has a cool card game and a TON of statistics. The statistics give way more than the game does. It tells you kills with each blaster, star card, hero, and wins/losses with each multiplayer game mode. The game, Base Command, also is fun and my type of game. Finally, I can change practically anything in the game from my phone, including star card hands, blasters, appearances, and Hutt Contracts. 💯

Addictive and Simple. Too often these days, games will bombard you with tutorials and menus and sub-menus till you begin to ask yourself how much playing comes with all this reading? This companion app is not only a concise and streamlined interface to help you manage your Battlefront progress; It's also an addictive and simple strategy game that lets you earn in game credits to purchase unlocks in Battlefront! If you're a Star Wars fan, and love Battlefront, definitely hit the download button!

Average app. I would rate this better but very disappointed in the fact the app isn't staying updated with my progress in the actual PS4 game. It's restricts my actual progress on the app games and prevents my ability to move forward. This may be a big or maybe I'm missing something. Either way, if I'm missing something then the app hasn't provided the adequate information for me to know what I'm missing and otherwise the app has failed to update my progress. Either way 2 out of 5 is correct score. I do enjoy the handheld game as it provides a unique experience, this is why I didn't give it 1 out of 5.

Why Can Enemies Get Crits?. Great companion to Battlefront overall, helpful while you are away to keep tabs on your profile. My main complaint is that some missions are near impossible to get 3 stars on due to enemies scoring random critical hits, especially in missions where a lot of them have First Strike. This is becoming very infuriating, and it can often take well over an hour to get lucky enough to not lose my multiplier due to a crit and get the 3 star. Please think about this for an update to reduce the chances of an enemy crit. Thanks!

The Force Is Strong With This App!. I honestly think this is the only reason why I use my phone other than Netflix and calling. This app is honestly really useful when you are on the go and want more credits for your character in Star Wars battlefront. Heck, this app basically IS Star Wars battlefront' main menu and website bundled together. There is this one issue I had with the app crashing by it making a distorted buzzing noise, but everything else is fine! 6/5 stars for me!

Delivers on its promise. I use this app mainly to track my progress and the progress of friends offline, and to plan my next upgrades and contracts. For this, the app is stellar. It's accurate and easy to use, and I find myself glancing at it daily to check on the daily challenge and poke through star cards. As for the mini-game, it is what it is. No complaints, but my socks are still on my feet. It was fun to grab a few credits early on, but I largely ignore it now.

Yes it's true, five it deserves. This app is a great companion to the Battlefront console game. The Base Command is a fun strategic game which can be played on the go and adds credits to your account! The star cards on the console game in your account are accessible here and visa versa. You can also get news for the game and current challenges for the week, which can be useful for those who are emerged in the game as well as casual or weekend online warriors! Download it and may the force be with you!!

Genius.. This app is great in my opinion. Yes the actual game is getting a lot of (undeserved) hate, but in my opinion it's great. Anyways back to the app. In the app not only can you earn credits to buy things such as star cards, blasters, and characters, but there is a pretty fun card game too. In my opinion this game is genius, and I think other games should do this too. Over all deserves five stars keep up the great work EA!

90% OF THE 4-5 STAR REVIEWS ARE PROBABLY FAKE. This app is pretty much a waste of time. It seems like the commander mode has potential for the first few matches you play but will quickly turn into a frustrating uphill battle. The computer opponent you face will almost always have a trick up its sleeve that will either protect it from attack or will respawn a unit in its place. The other features of the app are useless as well. Any changes you want to make to your kit can be done more conveniently during regular game play. Also, the 5 star ratings are most likely fake. If you download the app you'll figure that out very quickly.

Simply the best mobile companion execution ever.. Upon 100% completion of Base Commander mode I became super frustrated because I no longer have a superb game to play on my phone. Yes, that is how addictive and cerebral the minigame is in this companion app. Everything else is a nice bonus that ties in fantastically with the main game. Do well to ignore the low star ratings, they are simply not intelligent enough to beat this highly cerebral game. Remember, play your cards right, and may the Force be with you.

Challenging, yet entertaining. If you can't get enough battlefront even when you're away from your console, then this is for you. You can play a strategy game that gives you credits that you can use on your console, see when your friends are online, change and save different star card load outs and more. You just need an internet connection to play the game, so go ahead and download it 👍🏻

The Battlefront App is good. You can check your KD ratio etc. But the best part about this app is that it's supported by EA's origin so you log in and it has all your old data with other games and if you delete battlefront off your console (hopefully PS4 because Xbox 1 is garbo) you can still have all your game data it never gets deleted and the main reason I like this app is because origin is just a great thing to have and account on.

The game is horrible. The rest of the app is pretty good. There are literally "sieges" where you need to have the RNG spawn you just the right cards in just the right order AND the the RNG needs to give the appropriate enemy attributes ( or lack of them preferably) to make some levels even beatable. It's great that it's a companion... And it's great that it is free, but using those things as an excuse for this is just silly. Anything worth doing (or creating in this instance) is worth doing right. The game would get zero stars if I could but the app itself otherwise is good. I would give those parts, 4.5 stars.

Really cool addition to having STAR WARS: Battlefront. The app runs very smooth I've never had an issue with it freezing up or anything. Being able to see your stats and see when or if friends are on is great and the Base Command game is entertaining as hell also I love how the design to Battlefront and Companion is identical it makes it feel just like an extension or the already great Battlefront.

Great app. So I preordered battlefront months before it came out and got it at midnight on the 16th I have played it none stop since and the times I do not play, I have been on the companion. The best part about companion is that you get credits to spend in the game and you can level up. It is by far one of the best card base command games out there and even if you do not have battlefront I highly suggest you get it!!

Fun but lacking in content.. This is a cool app for the EA battlefront game but. I find it’s lacking in content, it gives you news which is helpful but their is little else given to do. It does provide a command and conquer mini game ,but it doesn’t provide much compared to other command and conquer style game on the App Store ,or other platforms. But it does have nice visuals and does what it is intended to do provide news for the game and help update your In game character.

Great companion app. By the way, for that one guy who says that the care game is unfair, he doesn't know how to correctly play it. The companion app is great for continuing your kinda battlefront experience outside of your home. Even though it is possible to switch your deck in mid games on the console, I often get carried away and I find myself not joining the game right away, if it's hero hunt, there go my chances at a hero. So the deck change is very useful. More improvements are indeed possible, but it is already very good.

Excellent example of what a companion App should be. The best feature of the App is the Base Command game. It plays extremely similar to the Castle Panic board game but adds custom deck building. The cards for the deck building are linked to the retail Battlefront game, giving you added objectives/incentives to play. As someone who is thoroughly enjoying Battlefront, this is a great companion to it. Also, being able to earn Battlefront credits by playing Base commander is fantastic.

DICE PLEASE!. I love this app, the Star Wars Battlefront Beta, and I will love the full game. I pre-ordered the deluxe edition with the season pass for $120. I have to know though, WHY DID YOU STOP SUPPORTING THE COMMANDER APP?! The companion app is very similar to the commander app for BF4. Both had a mini-game in them, and that let you get things in the actual game, both let you keep track of data, and any news for the community. I will support EA with the companion app, BUT DICE PLEASE BRING THE COMMANDER APP BACK.?!

One small step for apps, one giant leap for a franchise.. The new Battlefront Companion looks sleek, works intuitively, and adds a new level of connection to the world of Star Wars. The level of compatibility and integration between the app and the game is surprisingly flawless and even keeps track of your friends from the game, bringing a social dynamic to the franchise that is simply awesome. If you want to feel immersed, get the app!

Good Application. The App not only has its own game that involves protecting a base, but it also keeps track of your profile, challenges, and manage your deck hands on the video game itself. You can also get notified, of when friends and family play the game online. It's a pretty handy tool to keep track of things and also killing time by playing the base command game!

Great App that's only making me exited for the full game. This app is not only one of those companions for games, (read about weapons, equipment, perks, look at your stats, your friend's stats, set up a class etc.) but it also include its only little game. It's a board/card game, that's fun, addicting, has strategy, and rewards you with credits for Battlefront. Hopefully there's a lot more campaigns when the full game is released because I look forward to playing it more

I dig it!. It's small, simple, fun and FREE. The tactics and strategies are easy to understand and keep the pace of the game moving fast enough to stay interesting, challenging and entertaining. The cards are a good way to enhance chance, which I believe is necessary to keep the gameplay unpredictable yet manageable in that you can customize your own deck. I don't even play Battlefront on the console and this app is great. 5 stars and 3 thumbs up.

Don't hesitate. Download this app NOW!!!. This is an amazing app! For ex.) this app helps you see who's playing Star Wars, make changes to your character such as changing your star cards or buying a new gun! Almost everything u can do in the actual game you can do here! There's so much you can do! You can even play a mini game called "Base Command" which helps you earn credits for the actual game!! 😍. But I would not download this app if you don't have the actual game Star Wars Battlefront for Xbox or P.S. Otherwise GET THIS APP!!!

True companion. I love the cross platform integration into battlefront I hope this becomes more common with all games. This app allows you to look at the game at a different pace to study and plan your character and objectives. Also the in app game is surprisingly addictive with new ways to use your resources from the full game into a strategic fashion similar to chess. The only minor complaint is everything is so new and different is that it takes somewhat of a great deal of time to learn all the pieces and advantages to become competitive.

Update. The developer needs to update this game to iOS. I haven’t even played the game before because the developer didn’t update it to iOS. I give it the first and only star because I have played it before on Play Station Five and I like and I am good at it. I will give it five stars if it is updated to iOS, if the update is good, and if I like the game. There for I rate it one star. I recommend not getting this game. If the game is updated to iOS, I will change my review completely, and I will also tell you my opinion on the game. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hope they paid royalties to Castle Panic board game dev's. While I love the boardgame Castle Panic, it is unnerving to see Electronic Arts have so little creativity they just ripped 90% of the game off from the excellent developers of that game. I'm sure stockholders are pleased EA sold 12 million copies of Star Wars Battlefront, but many of us are not happy with how the game ended up being a playground for the ridiculous Call of Duty/Battleflap crowd. Heaven forbid you're a child, or not 18-25 like myself and thought EA would not be so lazy and not bother to add some basic skilled matchmaking system, or that new fanged thing called a lobby.

A cool extension to Battlefront. By itself the battle command game is a fun turn based tower defense game with nice twist of strategy and luck with star cards. The fact that you can look at all of your stats and unlocks in battlefront as well is really nice as well. But what makes this even better is that you can earn credits in the mobile app that are shared to your battlefront account allowing you to keep working forwards the next unlock or upgrade even when your on the go!

EVERYONE LISTEN UP. Ok guys if you want to get this app we really need to get together and REALLY AND I MEAN REALLY get EA to hear us so everyone this is what you need to do 1: like every review telling EA to update the app 2: make more reviews like this one or even copy and paste it 50 time. What ever it take am I right 3: We should all message EA or just call them to update. So if ur with me do the stuff I told u and this app will be working in no time 😉

Pointless Game, Ok App. Base Command is a broken piece of crap. Completely unbalanced and rushed. I've tried everything to advance and it's impossible. The enemies are extremely overpowered. Every match is legendary difficulty; no time to mess around. The app is simple, albeit a bit pointless overall. Haven't had any bugs, so at least they did like, 10% effort. Slow clap. And besides that, Battlefront the xbox/ps4 game is a frustrating mess as well. So, know in advance you'll be throwing your controller across the room a whole heck of a lot along with your overpriced iphone. Let's hope you got the extra protection plan on your devices and take your meds regularly. EA: you're a toilet flush of a company.

Rating. Just an awesome app if I gotta wait in the car for a few min I'll play a quick siege. The luck part is an interesting concept. I'll have a level 3 xwing with full shields get killed by an atst's crit shot, but a rebel soldier with a smart rocket will destroy an atst with full health. I think it makes the game more realistic, more like the actual galactic civil war. Also it gets you credits so you can just go give them to Jabba. Great app

GREAT APP. Thank you EA ( Electronic Arts ) for developing such an amazing app. I love how even when I'm away from home I can earn credits for my StarWars and buy blasters, star cards, cover images, etc... The Base Command feature is so amazing. I love strategically taking down well known infamous enemies like Vader and Boba Fett. I am rating you five stars because I would like to show my true appreciation and hope that EA continues to develop amazing games and apps. Thank you for you services EA.

Gives meaning to the star card system. Now everything I unlock can be used in both the main game and the apps add on game. It also rewards you in this game for playing with a variety of players and vehicles, which give you better star cards. And to finish out the "Circle of giving", all the progress you make in this game is used to get more credits for even more star cards. A must have for anyone who plays battlefront!

Love the game, and love the app. This will be short and sweet. I loved battlefront 2, and once battlefront came out, the hype was huge. Once I heard that a companion app was going to be released, I quickly downloaded it as soon it was available. The base command is a fun little way to get credits, and it reminds me a lot of a more simpler and better version of the destiny companion. I suggest getting this and battlefront. May the force be with you.

Great companion app! One little want though!. The app is great! Has all your stats in game on app. Has something extra called base command I've never bothered to check which I'm sure is fine. Little want though is a forums sections. Another video companion app I use has a forum section to see what other people are posting or joint up with each other. Would love for this game to have that!

Battlefront on-the-go. This is a great way to build credits while you are away from your Ps4/Xbox One. This mini-game works in conjunction with the console game where you can unlock stuff here and in the console games to help you in both games. The mini game itself is fun and addicting and adds extra value to the main game. Also able to see all of your stats and progressions in both games from this app. Highly recommend

Very good app with nice synergy with Battlefront. The app has very good utility with the game, and has a fun game mode that ties in with, and help to advance progress in the main Battlefront game. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because it does require quite a bit of time spent in game in order to progress in the Base Commander mode. Not a big deal since you probably wouldn't play or use the app if you weren't planning on playing the game, but if you aren't it literally a game breaker. Otherwise it's a great companion app that definitely enhances the already awesome Battlefront experience!

A Must Have for Players. I was admittedly skeptical of this addition given DICE's companion app record, but I must say that they stepped up their game, so to speak. The UI isn't cluttered, purchases in game through galactic credits can be done in-app, and the new Base Commander game is both challenging and engaging and actually gives you a few credits for your effort. It's a nice touch to one of my favorite games this year.

Great companion app. I really enjoy the app because it works well with the Star Wars Battlefront the game by rewarding you with daily sieges so you can always add to your stats. This helps build up credits when you are away from the game which I unfortunately don't have as much time with as I would like. Overall great app. It can be challenging but that's what games are meant to be.

Best companion app I've seen yet. I've had about 4 companion apps for games such as Destiny, Halo, etc. but the Star Wars Battlefront app is by far the best. You not only are able to edit your player, see friends playing the game and keep up on current in game events but you can actually but blasters, player skins, and star cards through the app and you have the Siege game so you can get bonus credits. I love the Battlefront game and the companion app just makes it even better.

Fun enough. Companion apps aren't usually great and I wouldn't say this is fallout shelter caliber app, but it's certainly a good tie in and I will play it along side battlefront when it releases. You can get through the initial stages in an hour or so and then have to wait for the game's release to play more stages which is fine. The initial levels have decent replay value. All in all a good companion to battlefront, but would not recommend to someone who isn't planning on buying the console game.
