Why pay for premium?. Don’t get me wrong! This app seems to fairly accurate when it comes to weather and conditions needed to fly your drone but can’t see paying so much for the premium version because the forecast can not be even close to accurate over a few hours to maybe a day away. The wind speeds often change within minutes so seeing a forecast 5 days away is simply crazy. Nice try though to get others to pay for features that really won’t help us drone flyers. The free version is very good though and feel it’s enough for me. I still give it 4 stars but at least lower the yearly price to maybe $5.

Fixed! :))) Got Charged Subscription Fee But APP said subscription Failed. Edit: Support helped me fix my problem so it’s all gravy. The app is dope and super useful overall. Customer service did a great job resolving the issue. Original post: I want to like this app, looks really useful, but I pressed subscribe, the app said it failed, yet my iCloud and card still got charged and my account says I’m subscribed to the service. Developer please help? I’ve already emailed support. Will change rating when the issue is resolved.

Inaccurate Wind Speed. More often than not, this app indicates wind speeds that are substantially higher than my weather apps and my experience. If you relied on this app to indicate suitable flying conditions, you’d miss a lot of flight time.

Great app. This is a great all around app. Very accurate and provides details not found in most paid apps. I use it for UAS and general aviation planning. I find it being my go to app for day to day weather as it has so much more info than most apps.

Best app for UAS operations.. This is hands down the best weather/conditions app for remote pilots. They even gave me a refund when I upgraded my subscription for my unused credit. Very satisfied and the app has not let me down so far.

TERRIFIC APP + EXCELLENT SUPPORT!. I am a Part 107 commercial UAS pilot and I use this app to plan every job. I also use it to supplement an official weather briefing from Flight Service. It gives hour by hour predictions for wind speed, expected visibility, satellite coverage, cloud coverage and Kp index. This is a MUST HAVE app for any drone pilot.

The only “must have” app when it comes to UAV pilots... I use and trust this App every single time I think about flying my drone.. I know I use it every single day at least one time.. It’s the ONLY app with drone specific data being displayed to you.. All of the required and desired info before flying!! I

Don’t be fooled. Save your money.. I let my subscription expire because the forecast was not accurate. The further into the future the less accurate the information. I have a feeling that anyone paying attention to the actual data will soon realize this app is not worth paying for.

If you fly drones you might be able to use this But it is not very reliable. It is easy to locate in the App Store and to “get” it for the most part it is quite easy to figure out . There are a few features that should be explained. First time users might not realize how the OK TO FLY message is triggered ...... this seems to key off the altitudes and max wind speeds entered by the user ..... Which in itself should be explained However I sometimes see the NOT OK TO FLY message When the conditions would indicate that it is OK There is no explanation So it seems like an incorrect message is being shown. It does not seem to be a truly reliable source of information for this reason

Latest Update Bugs?. Great app, but since a recent iOS and/or app update the app takes forever to get passed the splash screen (if it does at all). Time to call pest control to check this out.

Excellent Application. I use UAV forecast every week before I head out to take aerial photographs for work. I always want to make sure wind, cloud cover and satellite locks are in perfect conditions. UAV forecast also shows an hourly forecast of the whole day which helps me plan. Overall a fantastic tool to any drone pilot.

Excellent app for UAV pilots. I’ve only been flying for a month so everything is still pretty new to me. This app shows me exactly what I need to know for my flight planning purposes, and it does so with a really efficient and easy to read grid of information. Pros: > I can change thresholds for any of the weather or atmospheric metrics > I can send a snapshot of the weather/forecast to myself to add to my flight log later > The app is updated regularly. If you’re looking for sUAS apps (or any apps for that matter), check out the last time they were updated! > I bought the subscription and I think having several days’ worth of data is worth the small price - helps a lot for planning flights for later in the week. Cons: > Not a con, but a feature request. Please consider adding a way to store a few favorite locations. I currently save GPS coordinates in a notepad page and paste them into search when trying to plan a flight, but favorites would be a little easier. Overall excellent app for uav weather as long as they keep doing a great job keeping the app up to date and simple to use.

A must have for any drone pilot.. Definitely an app that all drone pilots should have. It allows me to not only plan but feel confident before heading out the door that my flight will be enjoyable and my drones safe.

Doesn't work on my iPad. This app works just fine on my iPhone, but not on my iPad. Constantly get message to turn on location services on the Pad...they ARE turned on. Tried switching on/off location services as well as the settings within the app. Also tried deleting the app and re-installing...no luck. Could not find any notice that this is only for iPhone, but for me that seems to be the case. Nice that I can use this on my phone, but there are times when it is more convenient to use the pad (and easier on my old eyes).

Worth the subscription!. New to drone flying, this app is one of the first things recommended to me and after about a week I subscribed. The price is fair and the information is well worth it. I check this several times a day, even using it for general weather info when I’m not looking to pull up radar. The map showing airports hotspots is great to know as well. I will have a subscription as long as I am flying.

Awesome App. I’ve tried others but keep coming back to this app. I just love the way it’s laid out, all the information you could need is presented in a way that is easy to interpret. I also love that along the bottom you can see times where it’s ok to fly and others that are not, within the same day even and into the future. Great job guys thanks.

Great App Gone The Way of The Almighty Dollar. This was the “go to” app for many drone enthusiasts. “Was” is the key word here. The recent update reduced all the free features to nearly useless for planning flights more than 3 hours out. What a shame. I would have been very interested in paying for a service that was of some value. I just can’t justify the cost versus the features for a recreational flyer. With the latest restrictions, it seems that greed has crept into this developer’s philosophy. Oh, well. On to the next one. Good luck to all. Happy flying.

Excellent App. I was almost kinda bummed have to pay, but the cost if extremely reasonable for all the data provided. I never fly my Mini 2 with out checking this app, and today I couldn’t figure out why I could only see three hours of forecast. It was a no brainer to spend 6.99 to get the 24 hour forecast back. I’m strongly considering upgrading my subscription. Good job on the app. Flawless!

Must have. Only a fool, would fly their drone without checking this app first. Drones have wind speed and visual barriers… This app gives you the all clear or the no go

Good app, but…. This has been a useful app, but taking away functionality such as forecast down to 3 hrs to try to force a subscription for hobbyists is not really reasonable. More reasonable would have been one time pay for hobbyists and subscription for commercial use instead of making a good app literally less useful. You may want to reconsider.

Droning On. I never fly my drone without checking the UAV Forecast. It is more reliable than anything else I have tried. The wind at different levels can really toss around a drone if you fly without the proper information. That can lead to ruined footage or worse a damaged or heaven forbid lost drone. A most worthwhile and affordable app for amateur or professional photographer or cinematographer.

Must Have. This app makes it so easy to check weather conditions and to make sure they’re in spec for your drone. It checks so many boxes and reduces the number of extra apps I need to check to make sure I can fly. Strongly recommended.

Was decent. I used the free app for years. The free app forecast only went out to 48 hrs. Was good enough for recreational flying I’d do. Was as accurate as bigger weather apps. Recently they changed the free app “window “ to 3 hrs and Is really not worth the $30 upgrade to “ unlock” the 48 hr window. Now I just get my free info from another big weather app.

Disregard previous review. I previously gave this app a 1 star review because I thought it was always saying, "not good to fly." But I was wrong. I did not know that you could change the parameters, such as wind speed, on the settings. Once I did that, the app now appears to be working as intended. Given more time and use, I could see giving it a 5 star rating.

The Gold Standard. Rely on this app daily. Love being able to see hourly forecasts days in advance, and especially the ability to set the altitude we want to see wind gust speeds. Bravo!

DO NOT UPDATE!! WAS a good Weather App. BUT Now its a $ grab..Deleted the App!. The app hasn't been updated in 2years, but the last update gets rid of "free" use of the app that would let you see 12hrs of weather. Alittle weird but enough for the day, okay.. Now they've switched it to ONLY 3 HOUR'S!! 😑 No more charts at all. No more Wind by Altitude, only Ground Level. No more location searching. No more map searching. No forecast. Its useless now. Every single good feature it had is behind an expensive paywall. I understand the membership and i was actually going to sign up after i got used to it. But now its just too much and the prices are not even good. Obviously a money grab to see who will pay for it so they can keep using it and not just download an equally good App for stuff like this. Or even just a mainstream App like The Weather Channel which actually has a good free Weather App with all the same information. Im not paying 6$/month just to see the weekly weather forecast, all pulled from public sources.. That's crazy!

Sold on this awesome app!. This app is great for reminding even experienced pilots about all of the things to think about before throwing your uav in the air. Highly recommend the pro features if planning missions for future dates.

Great Drone Pilot App. Thank You so very much for keeping part of this great app FREE. I have enjoyed and utilized it so much on my daily flying that I will be purchasing a subscription. What your doing by offering so much info in the Free Version is working it entices one to go all in and subscribed. Great Info. App on point. A++

A must have app for drone pilots. I started off with the free version. I check this app before each and every drone flight. I also started using it at various time when I wanted quick and accurate weather. I found I was using it so often and it was so useful I paid for an annual subscription. I want to support a great app developer and do my part to keep it around. Great app and thank you to the developers for such a useful tool.

Great app. I would be willing to pay for it. I hate subscriptions. Before you know you have all these apps and saas subscriptions with a hoses into your bank account draining it month after month and year after year.

Only 5 favorite spots?. Is there a way to have more than 5 favorite spots? I’ve heard there is a professional version. What is the difference between the hobbyist version and the professional version? How much is the professional version?

This app is dead. Edit: this app is still dead and a waste of your money. Look elsewhere for better information. I did pay for this app but it became abundantly clear that the data was constantly incorrect. I don’t trust this developer in the slightest anymore. This app seemed perfect but in reality it hasn’t been very accurate for planning days in advance. I don’t see the point of paying a subscription for something I can’t trust. I actually deleted this app, I advise not using it either.

Great app, great UI, outstanding top to bottom. Bravo to the developer for creating an easy to use, feature rich app for drone/UAS pilots. I fly both drones and R/C aircraft and wouldn’t leave home without it, so to speak. Full disclosure, I’m using the free version but plan on subscribing once business gets going. Drone pilots, R/C pilots - get this app! Especially if you’re in a persistently windy location like I happen to be. You won’t regret it!

Was good until last couple days. I used this app for over a year . It was really handy when I first started flying just to check the next days wind forecast . As of yesterday I noticed it no longer gives 24 hour forecast for free . Now you have to pay for anything over a 3 hour forecast . Rendering it pretty much useless unless you pay for it . Also noticed quite a few times it was definitely not accurate with my anemometer wich also made me lose trust in it . I kept it to cross reference but now I absolutely have no use for it . Bad form for forcing a subscription for a 24 hour forecast . Deleted . Thought of purchasing but this is part of what lost me and won’t consider it anymore . A simple wind forecast app that’s free does just fine .

Great app for UAV flyers. Excellent addition to my collection of apps for drone flying. The Wind Profile tab shows me everything I need to know about the wind at various altitudes before I go out flying. Feature request: At the top of the Wind Profile screen it shows “Last Update: a few seconds ago”, which tells me when the app last pulled data from the server, but it doesn’t give me any indication of how old the data on the server is. Much more useful would be a time stamp from the data feed itself (if there is one) indicating how current it is. “Last update: a few seconds ago” always leaves me wondering if I’ve just pulled down 3-day-old data from the server...

Accuracy?. I have USV Forecast and Drone Buddy on my iPhone and while the wind speeds are fairly close the gusts shown almost 10 mph higher on UAV Forecast. I don’t know which app to believe. Based on my observation of the actual breeze at my location it seems UAV Forecast is the app that is too high but I don’t have and instrument to measure.

Then and Now. was our go to for a decent pre flight conditions weather report but….now they have downgraded the free to be really useless without the paid sub so goodbye as greed consumes even the best of apps drone buddy or aloft a better choice at least when you go outside and it’s not raining but app says it’s NOT GOOD TO FLY and says raining cmon get real another user delete 1 star given

JH. Worked great at first. Accurate and dependable. No problems till I got a new phone. Then, it wouldn’t transfer my account. Now it refuses to work at all. So I must find a replacement for it. Nothing good is going to last. Which is a shame, because this was one of the most useful apps I’ve ever had.

Slowly became not worth it. Slowly became not worth using this app you can not plan out your flights by judging the weather with this app without paying. So one less app that will take up space on my phone. It just seems like a money grab at this point each update they take things away

Not Good Anymore.. This App use to be useful, but just checked today and they severely downgraded the free use from 24hr forecast to 3hrs! Other parts are also down graded! Everything you got before for free is now their entry level subscription, but if you want a useful subscription, that costs you even more. A 3hr forecast is almost useless, especially if you are planning to fly your drone an hour or more drive away. I hope this company changes it back, otherwise if they don’t then I hope all the current users give it a low 1-star review along with their negative comments!!!

Only free for 3 hour forecast. 24 hour forecast now requires sub. Adios. I will now learn meteorology and sat tracking with the money that the subscription would have eaten up. It was convenient for beginning, but not worth paying for once you know what you’re doing.

Not Very Accurate. I recently got my first drone and this app came highly recommended. I have been heavily relying on it to tell me when I should and should not fly. For the most part is has been good, however, I am starting to lose my confidence in the accuracy of it. There was one day I wanted to fly and it said “Not Good To Fly” with 24mph wind gusts. I went outside and it was a beautiful day and not a single tree was blowing. Another day it was down pouring. I’m in my house listening to all the rain pounding on my roof. I happened to launch the app to see what it would say, and everything was green and said, “Good To Fly”. I think it’s time to find a new app. And to think I was actually considering to pay for a subscription to this.

Beware of the air speed around you. When I first started flying Drones everything was fine until the windy day came and took away my drone. Then I didn’t check the weather and I had to land my drone far from me because the battery ran out so because of the wind now I check the weather on the UAV app every day !

Pricing drove me away. This app was fine when the 24 hour forecast was free, but now only 3 hours. Basically useless without paying a subscription. I can handle a one time fee, but being charged over and over just pisses me off. There are a lot of apps out that provide the same information for free.

Two Years and Beyond. Nice to see what days in the next week will be good for flying. Pro: Very configurable, easy to read Con: Needs to alert you so you don’t need to always check the forecast.

Must have app for drone enthusiasts. The free part of the app is about all most would need for day to day use. But for hourly and 5 day forecast a subscription is needed which for me was well worth the small fee. The app is very well laid out and functional however the UI is basic and could do with a little polish but as this is purely aesthetics I have not let it effect my 5 star rating. The app follows your location and gives very accurate flight conditions for where ever you are or you can search a location you would like to know the conditions for. The app has become my go to source just for the weather in general not just for flying. The main screen gives you a clear good to fly or not good to fly indicator and then drills into the conditions using colour coded squares for wind, temp, gps etc. In the settings you can change the the parameters for what is considered good or bad for flying but I have found the defaults to be very good. There is also a map indicating no fly zones which is also incorporated into what makes for a good or not good to fly scenario. I highly recommend the app and the paid subscription.

Fantastic tool. The title says it all but, this is a fantastic tool for all RPAS / UAV operators especially the full version as you can look not only for 24 hours but give yourself a seven day projection. Highly recommended

Super handy and helpful. This app is a powerful and essencial tool for drone's pilots. Even in the free version we are already provided with great informations in a easy understanding. I'm really keen to buy, despite I prefer to have lifetime subscription over annual/montly. I highly recommend it in case you want to avoid any troubles with police/neighbors. Cheers

Major issue. Love the app and what info it gave you but it caused a major issue with my IPhone XS Max! It caused my phone to spazz and also made it going into a black screen with a loading circle since downloading it. Once I deleted the app my phone went back to normal operation so not sure if I trust this app anymore.

Too bad 😳😳. Was amazing. Now useless. Too bad. At least make the ‘free’ version 12 hours We went from 24 hrs to 3. Pathetic and useless

Worth it??. Not sure it’s worth paying for. Used to love the 24hr forecast, but now it’s only 2hrs. Just get tired of paying for everything when I’m sure the app itself is generating enough income with whatever. Just more greed I suspect.

Lost its value. This app used to show 24 hour forecasts for free, now they charge for it. Sadly I have to give it low stars now.

Handy. Great to plan drone flights and five heads up snout winds above ground level

3% chance of rain.... guess again!. I was watching the rain pour down. Before, during, & after, the App never wavered - 3% chance of rain. You can use it for the satellite count or wind, but definately don’t trust it for rain. Pretend the precip guess is at 50%, that’s way more accurate. Multiple weather apps work best.

My go to app. As an avid drone pilot I travel around the world and this app gives me a simple quick platform to check if I’m good to fly or not. Because I’m in new countries constantly. I like the option to see if there are no fly zones or restrictions in new areas I’m in. It’s like having a co pilot in my hand to answer all my weather questions fast. If you fly a drone. You need this app. Trust me.

New update only shows you less then 1 day. Since updating to the latest update, what use to be a full day view for flying under the free option, now shows you less then half a day. WTH? Anyway to force people to pay for another subscription based app. Pathetic.

Conditions Can Change At Any Time. I have been enjoying using this app since finding it soon after getting my drone. I could look ahead a day or so and plan when to fly. Imagine now a change, from 48 hours down to 3 (for the free version). Imagine my disappointment. Ever after the almighty dollar, the app I was using changed, but not by me. It just proves things change, just like the weather, and I’m not in control — someone else is. What can change for the “free” version can also change for any paid version. I’m still learning to fly. So I’ll continue to use any app that will help me fly. But changes to the app that force me to pay for what I enjoyed for free? No thanks. I’m still learning.

Update: Excellent App but IPad Pro bug freezes. The problem is now on the IPhone XS as well. If I do not log in, the screen doesn’t freeze. On both devices, the screen freezes after login and you try to type to change location…every time! PLEASE FIX Great tool. I use it all the time. On a new iPad Pro, the screen freezes when you enter a location. Works fine on my other iOS devices.

Best!. Does what it needs to well, but one star off because the map view is bothersome because you have to turn off the NFZ circles overlay because they make viewing the actual map next to impossible, and even with them turned off the map is still no fun, severely limited.

Classic app wanting subscription. Can only go ahead 3 hours to see wind unless you wanna pay. All these crap apps….if they would just sell the app for a couple bucks people would buy them. Lame. Deleted and 1 star review.

Not happy. This app made an un authorized purchase. Be warned. Also the price of the subscription it should do a lot more. Nice app but definitely not worth the price. Get real on the subscription price.

it was a good app, until…. I liked this app until the changes… First off, I don’t need to see what the past conditions were to fly my drone. What for? Kind of pointless don’t you think? I can’t go back in time to fly my drone. Someone got paid to code that?… The app used to show 24 hours in advance. And that was just fine for a hobby flyer. And now the app only shows 2 hours ahead.. Wow, I don’t know where you live, maybe somewhere flat where you can see the weather for day. But on the west coast of Canada, the weather can change in 2 hours. And now the app wants $10 a year to show 24 hours in advance?! WTH… Kind of stupid if you ask me. Just another money grab from developers. Set up a reasonable one-time fee, and *maybe* I might pay for that. But right now, very soured on this one… Not impressed. Already looking for another drone app. Looking over the recent reviews, it seems other users are not impressed with the changes either. I get a better weather forecast with Apple weather.

Was good until 24-hr free forecast is paid now. Like so many I’m writing this review to express the disappointment in the fact that the makers of this app decided to charge for more than 3-hrs forecast. I know they will respond to this with the same poop, but we all know they discovered that so many were taking advantage of 24-hrs free forecast which was satisfactory for most. They had a paid subscription before that nobody got because we didn’t need more than 24hrs. So, capitalism as it’s finest, start charging for what everyone wants. It was convenient to have this information all on one screen but I’ll just go back to using my free weather forecast app and planing my flights out manually. Shame on you guys for making this greedy “business decision”.

temperature?. Nice-looking app, it only shows the Windchill , there's no current temperature?? . $28 a year subscription is expensive for what it offers.

Garbage. The app is no longer any good. You cut down the info from one day to only 2 hrs. Forcing people to buy you app. And most of the time the wind forecast isn’t even correct. Now with the less availability of the time and forecast available the app is even worse. Advertisement of this app is now a lie too. Free version 24 hrs forecast ! Free version is only 2 -3 hrs huge difference. Not even enough time to decided to charge up the drone.

Deleted your app. A one time subscription would have been better, but you deemed it necessary to be jam a charge on a monthly or yearly basis, I shall use a different ap now… I’m sure many will be doing the same shortly, this ap is not that good that justifies the cost

Changing the terms is bad business…. This app used to be great but changing the cost structure on a community of EXISTING registered users that built the app’s reputation is just bad a business model. If new features were added or noteworthy improvement were made that would justify a cost dramatic increase is one thing, but capitalizing on existing users with basic functionalities that were always free is a lack of innovation capability. It tells a lot about the backbone of this developper.

Each Star…. I took away a star for each service that was no longer offered or changed to cost money to access.

Useless. Crashes now on startup. Excellent app up until this update.

Not very helpful. Not getting even close to local conditions. Tells me not good for flying due to rain. Well, it's clear and sunny within a 200 km range and the winds are about 15 to 20 km, not 1 as the app shows. So, no I won't be buying the upgrade version.

No useful anymore. For the casual hobbyist, who needs to know if after work it’ll be nice to fly, this app is of no longer any use. Sadly, I have understand the need to make money, but you could have run banner ads or something of the like. People hate subscription base stuff , and app developers do it more and more. At some point you cut out the apps that make no sense to pay for. This is now one of them. Especially when other apps offer 90% of this info for free or with ads.

It’s ok overall. What’s going on with fonts? I need a bleach for my eyes.

This app is awesome!. It’s heliport, seaplane base and airport locations are all spot on. It has completely custom no fly zone settings and it will display and compare your settings against DJI’s. Displays every parameter needed and a few you would never need but it’s nice to have the info anyway and this is all without a subscription. $32.00 for a one year subscription isn’t bad at all, there’s more then what I need in the free version but I may still subscribe to get the added functionality. Fantastic app, every drone owner in Canada should grab this app.

Must-Have for RPAS. This app is a must-have for all preflight weather checks. Easy to use and accurate. Please add the ability to have several profiles as my two drones have different weather tolerances and GPS capabilities. This way it would super quick to check conditions for different drones. Thanks.

Used to be great for hobby…. I fly my drone only a few times a year just as a hobby and this app was my favourite before they changed the free forecast from 24hours to 2 hours. Now it’s useless for someone like me who rarely gets to fly, if your a frequent flyer maybe you’ll find their subscription worth it…

The app offers tons of info for the drone user, maps, wind info, gusts, and yes for professional drone users there is a pay version for much more in depth info, in fact the developer has offered several pay packages to make it affordable to everyone’s needs, however I’ll be clear, the free version has everything and more for my flight time. I noticed way to many NEGATIVE post in the comments because the Developer has a pay version, …you cheap assh&les, you have a drone that costs thousands of dollars and you complain over $9.99 for the basic plan, I spend more on coffee each day! Used to be amazing. Used to love this app. Was following wind statuses with this reliable app for hobbies but also because i live in a remote area and winds can mean danger here. Sadly, they went the subscription path all companies are trying to trap us into. Sure you need to make money. There were other options like ads or whatever. We all need our money these days.

Wrong wind direction. The only issue I have with the app, is it displays winds 180 degrees off. It shows where wind are blowing to instead of where winds are coming from. 180 from what pilot is used to seeing.

Money grab. The free version used to be good, and provide 2 day forecast. But now the free version is only 2 hour forecast, unless you give them a monthly subscription fee. I will not be extorted for monthly fees for a fun hobby. I don’t fly for anything other than fun. So no. I am deleting the app.

Fantastic app. This is a fantastic app. Very usable. I rely on it every time I fly. I’d love to see the ability to set bounds on sustained wind and gusts separately. Also an iOS 14 widget would be incredible.

4 updates in one week!!! No thanks. I was using this app with no issues until today. This week it has been updated four times with no obvious reason. I hate all apps with very frequent updates with no reason, no new features... deleted

Weather. Tried and tried can’t get the app to give me a weather report for my area and I’m on WiFi on my phone and live in Chicago should be no problem

It is presented in an easy to understand, unobscured format that will let you know within seconds if you’re good to fly. The app is simple, clean, accurate and easy to use. It provides the average enthusiast with everything they need to check before flying all in one convenient space. Not to mention, it’s customizable to fit your needs or the restrictions of your UAV. Can’t recommend this app enough. It’s just what I was looking for. I will continue to recommend this to all UAV users.

Money grab. Used to be very good until I check this morning and saw that I could only see up to 3 hr forecast I was like this whatever and I check to see the alt wind and it only goes to 1,500 so I deleted the app no one is going to pay 6 bucks a month for public data 😤😤

3 Hours?. Really? 3 whole hours now? If things are that bad, why would I give you money for the 24 hours we used to get for free? I just deleted it..

Has nice features, but..... The features it offers are great in terms of information covered is basically everything you could need to know before flying. However the app never figures out my location even after typing it in and that usually renders it useless. I love the thought put into this app for pilots, it just needs some fine tuning in order to work. I haven't experienced the charge window problem which I am hoping is simply a glitch and not a purposeful act. I am however afraid to log in since this was supposed to be a free app with the OPTION of an extended forecast and VIP type purchase plan, but it is automatically charging people for using it. HAL. Lately I have found that the wind speed and direction it’s not even remotely close to actual conditions, this makes it quite useless to me. What’s going on with this?

Useful app. Very helpful app. I always use this app before every flight. Nice to see detailed info and specially wind speeds a various height levels.

Great, functional app.. The developer just released a patch because one guy complained about the app not working on iOS 9 anymore! Talk about quality customer service. The app itself is great and can be understood in a moment with easy green or red colored sections. If you’re a UAV enthusiast pick up this app, you won’t regret it.

Last update screwed up app!. I love this app but the last update is broken. It puts me in the area of airports which is not true. I called the FAA and verified I was not in controls airspace.. I was in class G airspace!! Please fix the app!

Solid 2 years of use now they want to charge.. They changed the free version from a 24-hour forecast to 3 hour forecast. There are a lot of other free alternatives to this app. Uninstall.

Nice. Really like the new streamlined updates. Tapping g on wind conditions to set altitude is way less cumbersome than the old version. Nice job.

OK App. App is somewhat limited in capability. Biggest drawback is price for paid service. It only gives a little more functionality for waaaay too much money. If you charge $9.99 per year you’ll get more volume of business.

Forcing for subscription! No way!. This was one of my favorite free weather apps. Now with this update they are forcing to subscription based. That is not cool when you offer up to 24 hour for free and now you want to charge for that. Not fair and not cool. Deleting this app right away. Thank you!

Needs BeiDou Support. Great app that provides all of the weather data that UAV pilots need. It offers an easily readable format with easily customizable thresholds. However, it lacks support for the BeiDou GNSS constellation. This renders the app useless in determining available satellites for pilots who fly UAVs that use that constellation, such as the Mavic 3.

DO NOT UPDATE!! Forced PAID subscription now basically. Totally ruined the app for me. it has alot of things to get used to because it was made quickly and now i update and i can't even use it LOL. DELETED THIS APP!!

Deleting after update. Was a good app but to now provide only a 3 hour weather update is useless.

Use daily ...question. I love this app I have a suggestion if you could please add under the no fly zone settings if we are within the colored circle of certain airports or helo pads can you place that colored dot on the map where the airport is so we can see where's it at, not just the large circle range. This can help us adjust our location easier or be aware of what direction to be alerted. Thanks

Used to be great. Not anymore. It used to give 24 hour forecasts and now it only gives 3 hour forecasts, which makes it almost useless.

Was great unit they limited the free hours to three .. Now they want you to pay to see more than 3 hours out. If you want to pay it’s a great APP. If you want the free version it’s useless 🤬

Good interface, but now you have to subscribe. The only free use of the app is within 3 hours. Pretty disappointing since 24 hours had been free before and had the option of subscribing for 1-7 day forecasts. Just going to use other sources now.

Inaccurate. This app is useless. At my location app states 100% cloud cover and states not good to fly. Looking outside maybe 50-60% cloud cover. Why is cloud cover a consideration in determining wether it is good to fly?

Useless app now. Typical money grab with subscriptions. I’d buyable one time purchase copy, but not an automatic monthly sub. Bye. I can get all this info from Apple weather. And as for a three hour forecast? I can stick my head out the door and get that. Airdata app still has real forecasts. I’ll use that.

Great tool for flying. I love this app. Helps me set parameters that I want to fly safe.
