I look forward to going to the gym every day!!. I love this app!! I’m finally excited to be back in the gym! I suffered a torn ACL last year and wasn’t able to work out very much for the majority of the year. When I was finally able to regularly get in the gym, I lacked the motivation because I felt like I had to start back at square 1 and had no idea how to incorporate variety into my routine. I’ve had this app for over 2 months now and haven’t missed a week of at least 5 days in the gym!! Some workouts are harder than others, but I really love the way it keeps track of my daily accomplishments! It really helps to have a set plan of what I’m going to focus on for the day - not only does it keep things interesting, but I feel like my whole body is getting stronger!! There are minor things I would change - including manual input of cardio times/distance, and there doesn’t seem to be a stair stepper option in the cardio counter at all - but at the end of the day, I can’t imagine getting back into shape without this app. It has truly transformed my New Years resolution into a lifestyle change.

It’s good but needs improvement. I got this app bc of all the buzz and great reviews! This app is very confusing, I’m very tech savvy I used to work with computers and cell phones so I’d say I know more about technology than the average person. When you first open the app it has all these sections ( post baby, flow resistance, power, etc....) I thought I had to do all of those as part of the program. When I first signed up I chose the BBG so I was so confused as to why all these other workouts were coming up! So I figured that out and then the workout program I chose is specifically for at home where you don’t need equipment . So when it’s telling me to jump rope I don’t have that and I’m in my house, and telling me I need a bench I can’t do those workouts either. And then I press for alternatives and all of those include the equipment I don’t have too. This is very frustrating so I have to do complete alternatives. Lastly, some of these workout don’t have easier options. I hurt my back recently and some of these exercises I can’t do yet and it gives no easier or back friendly alternatives. And sometimes this is the entire workout so it’s really a bummer. I mean even if you guys included a Pilates based program that would be great for the back. So on those days I go on the Fit Radio app which is an amazing alternative and have multiple different options so even if your hurt they still have a workout for you.

Absolutely amazing app. I love this app so much! This is an amazing way to work out. I started working out with Sweat since end of February. It’s very smart and very convenient and you can work out at the gym or at home. There are tons of different programs you can choose within Sweat that suits your current condition and goals. I never liked working out but with this app I became obsessed. What I love the most about it is the instructors that I can find on Instagram. The connection makes me feel that there is a real person who is leading me through this. When I said it’s convenient, I meant it 100%. So first of all, if you work out at the gym, they built it the way you can find everything you need for each activation in one place. You watch a short video for each exercise which is showing you how to do it. You don’t have to run from one machine to another with no break in between. They thought of the adequate breaks in between each activation set. Also I love the built-in timers within timers. I am telling you, it makes it so much easier to do it right. I tried a couple more apps before and my experience wasn’t as efficient, pleasant and great as with Sweat. Amazing work, guys! Honestly, my life has changed since this app. Since I am hooked to consistently working out now, I became more fit, confident, healthier, and just more positive!!! Thank you!

Best workout app!. This is the absolute best workout app out there! Geared to women, but suitable for anyone, it offers exercise plans for EVERY fitness level! I have done BBG Beginner, BBG Stronger, but I am currently doing the new BBG Power Post Pregnancy. I love that I can choose a workout based on time I have, and/or what I want to focus on physically for the day. I have done workouts at home, and incorporated BBG Stronger in my local gym. It’s great everywhere! It doesn’t require much equipment, and I always feel like I’ve accomplished something after each workout. when I first saw the app I thought there’s no way I’m going to get a good workout in 28 minutes. Boy am I glad I was wrong! I was so surprised at how much I could sweat in that time and how sore (good sore) I could feel. The program is so easy to incorporate, and it’s amazing to see progress. I’m so happy to have found this app. I have definitely had my share of poor gym and at home workout experiences. This is not one of them. If you fully commit to trying for a month you won’t regret it, and you won’t want to stop.

Puts this gym rat through her paces. I’m in the first week of the workout and wholly cow! Let me start by saying I was already in good shape, particularly aerobic wise. I downloaded the app to see if I could use it in place of my expensive gym membership. I also wanted to tone up a bit more. This app puts me through my paces! I love how flexible it is and how the workouts are only 28 minutes each. I’m a busy teacher and mom of six-year-old twins so it needs to work around my life. I can fit in a 28-minute workout in the morning or after they’re in bed. After only a week, I’m feeling more toned already. I’m not following the eating plan because I already track macros and calories. So far, I love it! I can’t wait to see my progress pics in three weeks. Update 8/7/18: I’m now on Week 19 (+4 of Beginner). While I haven’t been perfect, this program has gotten me into the best shape of my life. I was always fit aerobically. However, I couldn’t do burpees and push-ups to save my life. Now I can!! They’re not perfect but I can knock out 15-20 or each in a row. I love that the program fits around my busy life and I can even take it traveling. So happy I found this app!! I would like it better if I could add friends so we could challenge each other and track each other’s fitness.

Schedule feature is off, everything else is great.. The app is so much better than working out from the BBG e-book! Especially love having videos of the exercises. Every feature I’ve used so far is great...except for the scheduling. I hate the automatic scheduling feature and there doesn’t seem to be a setting to turn it off. For example, I might have completed most, but not all, of my BBG workouts in week 12 before the week got too busy at work or home and I had to take more days off than usual. Automatically, the app moves me to week 13 on Sunday! But I wasn’t done with week 12...so I go to “Manage My Program” and set it manually back to week 12. Now that I’ve done that, it doesn’t show which workouts I completed anymore. It’s all reset. What it needs is: - a setting where you mark a week completed, rather than it automatically moving forward. Life gets in the way and I’m sure many people aren’t ready to move on every Sunday. - at the very least the app should keep record of which workouts you’ve completed even if you backtrack to a previous week. Maybe there could be a “reset week” option for those who want to erase what they did and do it over. But it seems like most people would benefit from their progress being saved.

Very much worth it!. I have had this app twice now. It is amazing for so many reasons, but for me I love all of the options available for at home workouts. There is only one thing that i would really like to see updated with this app and that is the Apple Watch connection and tracking calories burned. When i open the app on my phone to start my workout it doesn’t connect with my watch and same for the other way around. It doesn’t connect with my phone if i open the app on my phone. That being said, at the end of a workout it does show up on my activity with the amount of time i was active but does not record calories burned during workout. Lastly, when i open the app on my watch, it doesn’t give me a warm up option at all. It just jumps right to the workout. So i always just use my phone. Once i finally leave the comfort of my home to begin working out in a gym again I’d love to just be able to do everything on my watch. Overall, i love the workouts and how the app is set up. It makes it easy getting back into the swing of things and offers different levels of intensity. I just started back at the beginning of December and have lost a little more than 10 lbs just doing this in my living room!

Disappointed. This app is extremely frustrating and not worth the money when you can easily go to Instagram and find a workout routine. I love that I can see the demonstration of the workout. However, it jumps immediately to the next workout with the clock still ticking meaning I’m wasting time watching what I need to do and trying to grab equipment suddenly. You can pause it, but how is that helpful to cover up the workout I’m trying to watch before completing it myself? I’m sure it’s great when you’ve been doing the program for awhile and know the routine. Also, I’d assume that while it has a trainer talking and a timer going it would notify me when 30 seconds is up on a certain workout like a plank? When I look to start the cool down routine, it just starts the workout over! The workouts are hard for beginners even though it’s ‘beginner’. I have terrible knees and I look for alternatives when it comes to knee ups, so I waste more time on the clock trying to find something else to do. “Alternative” just suggests something more challenging. You definitely have to figure out on your own how to guide yourself through the app as well as the workouts. The community board is useless trying to search for specific questions. As for the ‘progress’ not everyone cares to take pictures, it’d be great to track weight progress and measurements w/o requiring a photo.

Would Recommend to Anyone. I love this app! I have struggled to find the motivation to work out consistently but this app makes it so easy to do. You can choose to do a program that is home based (BBG) or at the gym (BBG Stronger), and there are other options as well such as a post-pregnancy program. There really is something for everyone. I chose the home-based program and I love it. It requires minimal equipment and only 30 minutes, 3 days a week plus a little cardio. The only equipment you really need are dumbbells and a bench (I literally use a wooden chair, not a fancy workout bench). You can make it work for you! As if that isn’t enough, this app also provides a meal plan that takes you through three meals a day plus two snacks, and even includes a grocery shopping list for each week. The recipes are simple (and delicious) and can be customized to a wide variety of diets (vegetarian, vegan, etc). Also, for ingredients that you may not have on hand there are often substitute options provided. Lastly, remember to take pictures! I cannot stress enough how amazing it is to look back over your progress week by week and see your body changing. The scale may be deceiving, but those progress photos are not!

Excellent for moms!. I love that I can do this workout anytime, anywhere! I don’t need the sound on, or I can wear ear buds. It’s helped me, as a new mom, to get back into a groove of staying active—no gym, track, or TV required. The variety of workouts is great because there are workouts for all situations, whether I have a lot of time or 15 minutes, whether I’m at home or traveling, whether I have equipment available or not, and whether I want to do full body or target a specific muscle group. The programs are amazing too! … I like that each move has a mini video, description, and visual of which muscles it targets. I also like that individual moves can be subbed out for moves that target similar muscle groups, and it takes into account available equipment, exercise levels/abilities, and high/low impact preferences. I like that it incorporates recovery days with a foam roller and stretches. And finally, I like the badges. Honestly, I laughed at them at first, but now I look forward to texting my friend every day with my badge of completion and receiving hers. This app is great!

Great Program. I’m not one to go out of my way to write a review, but I love this program. I was very hesitant to buy it because I didn’t want to waste my money on something that doesn’t work. However, the program is designed to work with beginners either at home or in the gym depending on your comfort zone and you go from there. It builds each week and it makes you confident in yourself. I’ve been doing this program for about a year and a half and I look forward to working out because I feel strong. I used to hate going to the gym I would have to drag myself there and then once I got there I didn’t know where to start. I love this app because it tells you exactly what to do so you feel confident walking into the gym/ walking up to a machine you wouldn’t normally use because it shows you how to use it correctly. The weight loss wasn’t the thing I was looking for out of this program however, I lost about 8 pounds (I didn’t have a ton of weight to lose starting off) and my body is so much more toned. I am way more confident about myself than I ever have been before. I got my sister to join and she loves it too. They have so many different styles of working out all wrapped into this one app that you can choose from so spending the money is worth it!

Always a good workout. I’ve been using this app for almost 2 months now and I’m loving it. The workouts are as good as you make it. Meaning, you get 7 minutes to complete a round of 4 workouts. You do what you can within the 7 minutes. You can push harder to do more or you can just do what you can. In total there are 4 sets of 7 minute workouts with a pause between each 7 minutes. I feel more in shape and I’m now starting to see results (age/weight/workout type/diet all play a role in results). There are plenty of different workout options for different levels of fitness and desired results. I have been doing the bbg at home (at home workouts require minimal equipment such as dumbbells, jump rope, and small bench). I might switch to another workout type that requires gym equipment. There is also a lot of support within the app from other users for questions, affirmations, and suggestions on many topics. I made an Instagram account and connected with users from the app and they are always positive ( another outlet for support and affirmations). I recommend giving this app a try.

Good, but could be better. I had the BBG book and I knew the workouts were going to be tough but quick and that’s what I loved about Kayla’s program. I downloaded the app and I love the format of the workouts and I feel challenged by them, but other areas of the app could be better. For example, I have several food allergies (nuts and fruits) and it makes it pretty close to impossible to utilize the nutrition aspect of the app. I wish there was a way to eliminate those foods from the diet plan. I got one of my friends to start the program with me and we both agreed it would be fun since we’re doing it together if we could set it up to send each other a notification when we completed a workout. It’s motivating to see she’s done a workout! Also, I wish there was a way to shuffle playlists within the app not just play them top to bottom. I usually have to start music up before getting into the app because I want it on shuffle. Also I have found when you’re doing the LISS the mileage tracker is WAY off. I genuinely think it might be in kilometers and just labeled with miles. It will say I did 4 miles when I actually only did about 2.

User friendly and helpful!. I'm new to fitness in general, but so far I'm a huge fan of this app! I read a bunch of reviews here and it seems like the app has made a lot of improvements since some of these were posted. You can pause any workout and then continue, and if you decide to restart a work out, you can do that any time. There are even other options for workouts to substitute or try in addition. You can also play your own music while using the app- it's easy to connect. There is a tab at the top that tells you exactly what equipment you will need for each work out, and you can preview each move of the workout before you start. I don't consider myself super tech savvy but I find it very easy to use and understand. It does reset every Monday, so you are kind of locked in to a Monday- Sunday schedule, but you don't have to go in a specific order and you can space the workouts out over the week however you want. If you are trying the 1 week trial, definitely download it on a Monday. I started it on a Wednesday and then on Sunday the trial ended. I didn't mind much because I was sold on the program and was planning to get the full version anyway, but if you want to get the most out of the trial, start on Monday.

Such a great deal!. I have been using this app 4+ times/week for over 7 months now and have never had to repeat a workout. I’m so impressed with how much you get for less than the price of one in-person fitness class per month. I started off with Kelsey Well’s PWR program, then decided I wanted more high intensity worked into my workouts so I switched to Chontel’s FIERCE at home as soon as it came out. After 12 weeks of that, I decided I wanted to change things up just for fun so now I’m doing Kayla’s BBG. Add into all of those programs the fact that they have regular sweat challenges and publish all NEW workouts for you to do for 6-week chunks before switching back to your regular programming- basically, the choices and workouts are endless! I’ve always gotten bored with workout programs after a certain amount of time and repetitiveness, but the amount of choice you have in this one, all included in the $20/month, has kept that from happening with the SWEAT app. I am a huge fan and so thankful to have this app to keep me feeling my best.

Affordable and lots of content. Love this app. I love it even more because I got it on sale during Black Friday a few years ago so I’m locked in for $10/month which is an amazing price for all the content. Even their usual pricing is worth it in my opinion. So many different programs. Used to have a lot of bugs but works seamlessly now. Love the ability to sub out and modify separate exercises before starting the workout - really useful postpartum with diastasis and certain exercises aren’t as safe or are too difficult. The modification suggestions are exactly what I need so I don’t have to stress about what to change myself. I would love to see a prenatal program. I was so lost trying to exercise while pregnant. I believe i heard this may be in the works by Sweat which is super exciting! I wish the app had better nutrition and meal plan ideas. I love the idea of this feature within the app, but it falls short. The ingredients are odd - not typical things I can find at my grocery store - and doesn’t offer substitutes if I’m remembering correctly. I find it to be the least useful part of the app. It makes eating healthy seem more difficult than it is. I need a nutrition planner that makes eating healthy seem “easier” (every day ingredients, one pan meals, kid friendly meals, etc).

Inspiring!. I’ve managed a gym, I’ve been a trainer, I thought I had it down. But this app have SO MUCH variety for whatever type of work out you are feeling that day. If you like structure: stick to a program and it really helps you keep track of your progress and motivate you. If you like variety and get bored easy: you can bounce between yoga, powerlifting style training, HIIT training for days with less time, full body workouts and specific area driven workouts! The coaching in each session makes it timely and easy to follow with explanations on each exercise, and a good playlist to follow. You can track your water intake and your food map is planned out for you! The ONLY change I would make is that you can track what you actually eat vs the meal plan set out for your program. The community and trainers are amazing on social media to keep you motivated, encourage you on your good days, yet convince you to go in and try your best on your bad days! The congratulations with confetti at the end really are satisfying! And when you’re sore, there are recovery days and stretches they guide you through to help out! Thank you Kayla, from your first book guide years ago to the app you and Tobi made,I feel inspired and flexible in my fitness routine.

Not user friendly. This app frustrates me to no end! I have the original Kayla pdf workouts so I’m already familiar with the program and decided to try the app because of the timing feature and demonstrations of the workouts but the app is SO CONFUSING. I started my workout on a saturday but the app is set on a monday-sunday schedule. I decided to work out and record it anyway and on monday it reset itself!! So annoying. This makes tracking my progress virtually impossible unless i work out on their schedule. There is also no option to pause the workout and the app doesn’t tell you what equipment you need beforehand. So when the next workout comes up and I need to go grab that dumbbell I can’t pause the app and lose time. I also wanted to restart a specific workout because I ran low on time and I wanted to complete it but the app forces you to move on. Also during the warm-up if you don’t keep the app open the timer pauses so if you ate listening to music and forget to go back to the app it doesn’t time and during the warm up you can’t see what workouts are coming up next without exiting. This is just such a poor user experience I would rather just time it myself and cancel this subscription. There isn’t enough value here and too high of a learning curve and it just doesn’t work as expected. I’m so disappointed. The app needs to be redesigned.

Wonderful app!. This app is hands down the best fitness app! I have been training for several years and have used and tried so many different apps/guides and this one offers so much! While bbg itself is enjoyable, I truly enjoy heavy weightlifting and was thrilled when they added more weight based guides and trainers on the app. The nutrition portion is helpful too; they provide step by step on the recipes and even a grocery list that you can tap to cross off the items you have or buy while shopping. There is so much detail in every last aspect in the app that it is honestly impossible to not know what you are doing while using it. Each exercise has explanations, modified for easy or more difficult versions, a voice guide, and an animation that goes with it to assist you with learning the exercises. The online community in the app is great too! Everyone is very supportive and there is so many posts and tips to read on the forum. Kayla also offers challenges in the app as well as includes stretching/from rolling to help with post exercise soreness. I would highly recommend this app to anyone!

Helping me get fit for my wedding dress!. I love love love this app! I have been using this since the fall to get in shape for my wedding and I can’t wait to show off the results in my low back dress! I actually look forward to going to the gym and enjoy every part of my workout (even when it is tough!) Kelsey’s program is awesome because it changes every week so you never get bored. The gym equipment portions are great and accessible for those who don’t feel as confident using them. The flexibility between programs is also perfect for me with a busy schedule. Sometimes if I can’t make it to the gym I will do a Kayla Itsines BBG workout at home, and be sore for about a week after!! I am also really excited that Kelsey has come out with a home workout program as well! The one thing I would change about the app is on Monday’s it automatically changes what week you are on and you have to manually go back and change it if you weren’t finished with that particular week. I like to finish all the workouts in each week before i move on, but most of the time I only can get to the gym three to four times a week so it is hard to complete all the workouts in that time. If the weeks didn’t automatically update, this app would be perfect!

Great app but needs work. I would love to say first that this app is like an awesome combination of mapmyrun and myfitnesspal. It gives you the option to track what you eat, gives you recipes and shopping lists, and allows you to schedule your workout week and plan your workouts. The workouts are high-rep, body weight exercises but if you do them, they’ll wear you the heck out!! My legs were more sore after the first leg day workout than they have been in quite some time. After only three weeks of training I’m already seeing results! One issue I have with the app is you have to keep it open for your entire workout which totally drains my phone’s battery. It would be great to have an option to flow through the circuits without having to pause and press on an arrow, which stumps my motivation as I’m pushing through the last few reps of one exercise and starting the next. You also have to keep the app open during your entire cardio workout (ESPECIALLY during HIIT days) and doesn’t voice how far you’ve gone, when you’re done, or for HIIT, when to work/rest unless you’re looking at your screen. This is just my opinion as I don’t like being very hands-on with my phone when I’m dripping with sweat! 😜 The last issue I have is with the mile tracking. I’ll have both mapmyrun and sweat open at the same time and sweat will have twice the mileage I actually ran on mapmyrun. Like I said before, this app is really awesome but with a few tweaks, could be absolutely incredible!

Great App and Program!. Edit: I still like the app. Some other areas of improvement is to allow swap exercises to happen eg the day before doing the workout. You can only swap exercises the day of. On the day of it can take sometime as you try to figure out the exercise you want to swap. I have been using the app for 6 months and still get confused ln finding the programs etc. I wish that the cardio days the app would populate options to do from trainers too if you don’t want to walk, run etc This is a really good app. The features I really like is the: ability to swap exercises, the timer included in the app, ability to record weight lifted, and the ability to swap programs between fitness folks (I have not yet) and even incorporate a workout from another program under different fitness folks to your calendar. How to strengthen: initially I was just a little confused when I began using the app, because of the layout ( I saw different sections for programs, then challenges and was not initially sure on what to do but eventually figured it out), Really appreciate the meal plan, would be nice if in the future they can consider adding food swap features with similar food macros. One other improvement is to maybe change up the cool down exercises and allow swap features for those too. I love the app and am glad I invested in it and am absolutely loving chontel Duncan’s program, which is really my style of training! To me it has been worth it!

Such an amazing program!. I have been using this app for a little over a year and I love it all. The app is clean, easy to use, and the software updates always seem to be enhancements, not bug fixes! This app offers sooooo many different workouts to choose from but I’ve stuck to the same program. The workouts aren’t ever exactly the same and they build off each previous week, so I keep getting stronger without ever getting bored. I reached out to the support team once about 6 months ago, because I was frustrated and struggling with some injuries. Told them it would be cool if they offered some low impact substitutions. While at the time they didn’t have this available (but was something they were already working on) they came back with 3 or 4 different ways to adjust my workouts to avoid further aggravation. The substitution enhancement was released a couple months ago and I love it! It’s so easy to sub out workouts due to equipment restrictions, or because it’s too easy, or too hard. The videos and instructions for each workout are spot on. I really really love this app!

Great app, great price. I’ve been using the Sweat app for about a year. It works so well for me and I recommend it to everyone I know! There’s something for everyone here. Beginners, gym rats, and everyone in between. I don’t use the meal plan feature; I only use it for working out. Most of the workouts can be completed in 40 minutes. If you don’t have that much time or you’re not feeling up to a full workout, you can use one of the MANY “quick workouts” that are 20 minutes are less. There are “workouts” for stretching, too, which is so nice if you’re feeling sore or just need a refresher. One of my favorite things is that you can use the app on your phone, laptop, tablet, and you can even cast it onto your TV with the Apple TV! Also, you can schedule your workouts and sync it with your calendar. I will say this: I don’t like doing yoga with this app. I tried the 3 yoga “workouts” and it just wasn’t great. The instructor seems good and I definitely got a good workout, but I just don’t think this is the right platform for yoga. The countdowns always end with loud beeping which brings you out of that zen moment. I highly recommend the Sweat app and I’ll definitely be renewing my subscription!

BEST fitness app for women 🫶. I’ve been using this app since 2020 and it’s still one of my favorite things ever. It’s super user friendly and tailored to women with busy lives. I feel like they made it just for me😂. I’ve tried a lot of fitness apps, but this one is hands-down the best. Everything is intuitive and it makes staying fit so simple. The programs have everything you could ever need - good descriptions and clips of trainers doing each exercise, the option to schedule all your workouts each week and get reminders, the ability to follow a program but still pick workouts from any other program you want, and my favorite - you can sub any and every exercise in your workout (and they give you a lot of sub options). My favorite program is Kayla’s High Intensity (BBG). I like that you can do it in your living room or at a gym. Let me tell you - if you stick with it for 6 months and eat a healthy diet, you will be in the BEST shape if your life!! I started out in pretty bad shape and half a year later I couldn’t believe what I saw in the mirror, and I was just doing my 45 minute workouts ~4 days a week. When I fall off, I always come back because I remember how good I feel when I’m following my program and how rewarding it is. Kayla and team - thank you SO much for this app please never change it it’s perfect and a gift to women everywhere ❤️💪🏽🔥

Great workouts, app quality needs attention. One the one hand I absolutely LOVE the workouts in the sweat app. The PWR program is incredible and the variety of other kinds of workouts when you can’t get to the gym or don’t have a lot of time is great. I never have to think about what to do at the gym, I just open the app. On the other hand, as a software developer myself, I am constantly baffled by the number of glaring bugs in every single update on the phone app as well as the watch app. I don’t think I have ever gone through a workout without encountering an obvious bug...just an an example in the latest release, I listen to google music and every time the timer stops and the next exercise starts the music pauses and I have to hit play again. On the watch app right now, the timer display stops updating if I look at it! So it will get stuck on a number and I have to keep track myself. Then when I hit next, the timer for the next exercise has already been counting down so I have to restart the section. I wonder if what seems to be the lack of concern over app quality is just because enough people keep paying for it that they prioritize new features over bug fixes.... I’m going to keep paying for it so I guess you could argue why does this feedback even matter?

Just be consistent and the reward will come sooner than you think!. After having my second baby my weight has been a big concern for me, and cardio was very hard because I was breast feeding and I don’t really like running. So, I found sweat. This app was my life change. I got back in shape before my maternity leave expired (with a diet of course). When I got back to work I kind of gave up on working out and I felt guilty about it. But luckily sweat promoted the 12 week challenge and I knew this is the time for me to get back on track so now I don’t miss my workouts and instead of running on a treadmill when the weather is nice I take looong walks with my kids. I don’t do a lot of cardio but I do the daily workouts. I definitely recommend this app, but if you think you won’t be consistent don’t even think starting because you’ll blame the program not yourself. I believe that any workout is good if you’re consistent. If working out is new for you and you don’t know where to start I think sweat is a good start. I have my sisters and my friend on sweat now and we make sure to post our work outs and keep accountable each other, which is fun:) if you want to feel better and look better, then this is for you, too ✊🏋️‍♀️🏆

changing my life. This app motivated me to start working out again after 2 years of inactivity. The workouts are amazing, they have great beginner options, but I went into it at an intermediate level and they're killer! They are tough, but I've found that my strength and confidence has grown tremendously from doing BBG and trying several workouts from the other programs, which is another thing I love about this app. The variety in programs make it suitable for any kind of workout goal. I can see how the intensity and difficulty of BBG might be unmotivating for some though, so it's great that Kayla has recently added more beginner weeks! he community tab is filled with supportive women! The only thing I've never used and probably will never use is the meal plan because there is just a way too many different ingredients and meals (which might be a good thing for other people, but for a broke student, I'm not really looking to buy a full-sized product or unit of produce to use only 1/2 a slice of and then not use for any other meals in the week.) The app has some bugs sometimes but Sweat team replies fast and takes suggestions! My only wish is that it was better compatible with the Apple Watch which is one of the reasons I got the app in the first place, because I saw it could pair to my watch.

Can’t track past workouts correctly. I’d like to be able to add past workouts of any week on the exact day/time of my workout to track what I’ve done. Right now I can only mark my Resistance Trainings as completed and if I miss tracking one day, I have to go back to the previous week and lose any progress on the exact date/time. It shouldn’t be so complicated. I’ve been using more my Fitbit app that has this feature. I can track any type of workout any day at the exact timeframe. It works flawlessly and it’s easy to use. I’ve ended up using Sweat only for the Resistance Trainings, but I also have the PDFs so I’m not seeing a lot of added value in the app. The only added value I can see is the menu/food section which is really good. The down part is that I do meal prep once for the entire week as I don’t have time to cook separate meals every day, so I end up not using it a lot either. I also find the “share” pop-ups annoying after every workout. I’m working out for me (for my health, strength and benefit) so I don’t understand why there’s so much sharable content within the app. It’s a fitness app, not a social network. I get that there’s a “community” factor in there but maybe the pop-ups stay in that tab for the people who need that sort of motivation/engagement.

Love it.. but needs a couple tweaks. Love love love this. I’m doing the PWR at home and it’s great! I’m in my mid 30’s, haven’t worked out since my wedding ten years ago and definitely not in shape at all. I have 3lb dumbbells and a set of bands and i feel that’s enough to get an excellent workout. I’m sore most days but in a good way!! I’m definitely modifying moves to make them easier so I feel like i could keep this app for a LONG time and still feel really challenged. And most workouts are a TRUE 25-35 minutes, warmup to cool down, so awesome for a busy mom like me. I also love that there aren’t 700 billion programs. Just enough for variety but not feel overwhelming. And they don’t feel gimmicky. The tutorial videos are amazing because I can see a quick preview right before the circuit and I love that it shows it throughout so I can keep my form. My FAVORITE part is the ability to add my own playlist. It’s so fun to make my own Hype playlist of songs I love and I don’t have to compete with the crappy track from the a program. I would love to see the app for Apple TV, though. I hate having to air play it. Also, the ability to record workouts that you might have missed. Sorry, solid Type A here.

Just Bite The Bullet and Do It. I have always struggled with motivation to work out consistently. I would exercise 6 days a week for a month or two, then lose drive and stop. My weight and motivation have yo-yo’ed for the better part of my adulthood. I would always work out at home because going to the gym intimidated me. I started BBG workouts at home and finished the 12 week program. I felt great and was in better shape than I’d ever been, but wanted to start lifting and toning with weights. Now I lift 6 days a week thanks to the PWR program and feel confident and good in the gym because I no longer feel like I have no idea what I’m doing there! This app has programs for home workouts or gym workouts based on what you want to do. It lets you log progress and actually makes you feel like you’re accomplishing something every time you finish a workout. It has meal plans, alternatives for moves you may be unable to do, special postpartum programs and yoga programs. It’s comprehensive, challenging, but doable and has made me feel 1000 times better about myself and my abilities. If you’re on the fence about it, get it! It’s totally worth it. I can’t recommend it enough for beginners!

App Crashes/Will Not Open Constantly. Whatever updates have happened recently make the app slow to open, if it opens at all, and crash without warning. I have been using the Sweat app for over two years and since the iFit buyout, the app has presented technical issues for me. I looked online for a fix to this issue and it seems to be a known issue with no resolution outside of making sure your phone is updated to the most recent IOS (which mine is). Paying monthly for this subscription, I expect the app to work when I am ready to work out. Additionally, I do not like the automatic substitutions that the app makes based on assumed equipment in the “My equipment” section. Sometimes I work out at home, sometimes at the gym. It varies as I have a little one. This feature seems to only be targeted to people who work out at the same place all the time (which I feel is counter intuitive to the purpose of the application). I LOVE the programs and want to use this app when I am ready to work out because the workout programs are wonderful and the community is very supportive. However, some technical improvements need to be made for the end user experience to be what it used to be. If this issue persists, I will most likely choose a different app for my workouts.

Dishonest and misleading when canceling. I loved that this app offered a free trial before having to pay for the subscription, because in my opinion, it’s a pretty expensive subscription. The app turned out to not be a great fit for me, so I canceled before the trial was up so I wouldn’t get charged...or so I thought. I went to “manage my profile” and scrolled down to the bottom and clicked “CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION” at which point a big pink pop-up said “SUBSCRIPTION CANCELED” and then asked me to choose a reason for leaving. It then took me to iTunes where nothing on the page indicated that I needed to do anything further. Today I saw on my bank account that I had been charged for the first month’s subscription, so I did a little investigating, and even though the app has a big pink pop-up telling you “SUBSCRIPTION CANCELED” it turns out you have to scroll all the way down on the App Store page to CONFIRM the cancellation. Yes, it’s my mistake for not reading the fine print beneath the “SUBSCRIPTION CANCELED” but I feel it’s extremely misleading and dishonest wording on behalf of the Sweat app. How about “CONFIRM CANCELLATION THROUGH THE APP STORE” or “BEFORE YOU CONFIRM ON THE APP STORE, tell us why you’re leaving.” Or even a simple “ALMOST DONE” would have worked. $20 may not be a big deal to some, but it’s still $20 I could have happily used elsewhere in my budget. But now I’m just out $20 for an app I won’t use this month. Very annoyed.

free trial isn’t free. Dispute canceling in under 7 days I just discovered that I have been billed even though I rec’d confirmation in the app that I had cancelled the FREE trial - I even did it before because I realized I wasn’t able to find the time and couldn’t justify the monthly cost. I work. I have kids. I know with completely certainty that I canceled and got the app even telling me that it acknowledged my “free” trial was canceled - now I just discovered they have been charging me. Not only are they robbing budget I don’t have they are robbing me of time tracking down the refund. If you were proper you would make it a true FREE trail and ask for credit card info only after the trail period if someone willingly opts in and don’t cheat and trick!!!!! The customer service reply is that they can’t issue a refund because of the sneaky way they require you to opt in for auto renewal through the App Store. I canceled in app and it gave me with completely certianty the sense I had been canceled and wouldn’t be charged - after discovering I was charged they say they can’t refund. What they can do is issue a free trial and then have you opt in to pay - this is a total scam and they are thieves that created a very sneaky and unethical free trial. I can’t believe not only have they charged me I have to keep pushing for a refund. Customer service isn’t acknowledging how sneaky they are. I have 3 small children. They are robbing this budget from them.

Good App but needs some improvements. The exercises are good and there are varieties of trainers but the price paid, it really should allow the users to work out offline. It seems counter-intuitive for a fitness app to promote being able to workout anywhere but only if you have a Wi-fi connections or cellular service. A user should be able to download workouts offline or use the app offline as a feature. Also there seems to be very limited express workouts available on the “On Demand” section. the search option “On Demand” exercises are is also a bit limited in what you can search for (I.e. not being able to search for targeted areas like if someone wanted to do a search for abs, or shoulders , etc.). Another thing noticed was whenever you search and schedule an On Demand workout, the workout is added on the calendar and once that’s done, you’re taken back to the main page again and have to navigate 3 or 4 steps back to your on demand search to schedule other workouts. Wished the app was smart enough to bring you back to the screen right before you scheduled that workout instead. Overall a good workouts, but they definitely need to make some updates to their apps. Been using for a year now and not sure I’ll renewal given so many other workouts apps that would allow offline workouts.

Great programs!. I normally don’t leave reviews. I love this app! The programs are great. Switching between programs is easy and overall very user friendly! My only con with this app is that there are so many glitches with it… my program week keeps switching without notifying me so I keep losing my place in my program. When I open the app I frequently get the notification asking if i would like to move forward to the next week and I hit “no stay on current week” and it does it anyway and I lose all my data. It’s honestly the only annoying part of this app and I hope this gets fixed. It also weirdly messes with my music during a program. For instance it’ll stop my music to let the trainer speak, but then it won’t play my music again after she’s done speaking? I’ve tried altering my setting to prevent this from happening, such as turning off the trainer voice and connecting apple music to the app. The music glitch isn’t as frequent as the week progression glitch, but both are annoying. Besides those glitches the app is great! Highly recommend.

Pricey but quite good.. I keep coming back to Kayla Itsiness’ original high intensity program because it has been the most effective workout plan I’ve ever done. The app is great at giving you a GREAT workout plan that keeps challenging you week over week. Areas of improvement/ cons The only two reasons I don’t give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are: 1- this is quite pricey! Although they offer a discount for the annual plan, $20/ month for a plan that doesn’t offer any sort of live classes, where instructions for exercises and guidance on form is quite limited to text only, this is a LOT. 2- I wish this would account for a few seconds to allow for transition between exercises especially on those where you’re counting time vs number of repetitions. Oh and I also miss the little water drop that would fill up to mark your weekly progression. That sounds silly but I used to love seeing that drop filling up, used to give me a small sense of accomplishment (I told you it could sound silly). Last area of opportunity for this to get even better is to give an overview of the following week’s workouts on Sunday — that would be super helpful to allow for better planning.

Could be a lot better. I really wanted to like this app but I find a lot of problems with it that are more frustrating than helpful. For one, you have to have the app open to use the timers, ie. doing the warm up or a cardio workout. I prefer to watch a show or videos when I do cardio so it was kind of annoying that I couldn’t. Also, the app crashed several times when I was in the middle of a weight training workout and when I re-opened the app all my progress was lost so the only option was to re-start the workout, again, super annoying when you’re more than halfway through the workout! Also, there is no option to swap out an exercise for something low impact. I have an injury that prevents me from doing any type of jumping and I had to research alternatives for jumping jacks, mountain climbers, etc. on my own because the app didn’t provide any guidance. And my least favorite thing about the app is that you can’t skip a specific set and come back to it. My gym is relatively busy with limited weight equipment and there were times where I had to wait almost 20 min to do a set because the app wouldn’t let me skip and come back to it. Overall, I like the concept of this app and enjoyed the weekly calendar and the exercises, but I found a lot of flaws that I couldn’t look past and annoyed me, which made using it less enjoyable. Maybe if the app was free or less than $20/month I would have stuck with it!

It’s Amazing - Room For Improvement. Ive been using SWEAT since it was only a PDF document. So, I’ve been around for every iteration of the app. The App is very robust in amount of workouts so you never feel like you’re doing the same thing over and over. I love that they've brought on more trainers and their is such a variety of workout styles to choose from. This app makes it easy and ideal for me to work out at home and still push myself. A few things I’d love to see improve: the recipes recycle every 4 weeks. I'm paying $20/month for the app so it would be nice if they would give new recipes each week. The recipes haven’t changed much in 5-6 years. And, the grocery list only calculates your recipes for the week for a single individual. I’d love to see an option to choose how many adults and children you’d be cooking for and for it to calculate the grocery list accordingly. Also, I'd like a variety of types of music. There are a lot more playlists that are available with the new trainers joining the program, but there still aren’t very many that have a variety of song choices.

Exactly What I Needed. I’ve been using this the Sweat App since May and I love it. I’ve followed Kayla for a few years on Instagram, but always thought I was too much of a beginner to do her HIIT programs. Once the low intensity programs launched, I finally took the plunge. The workouts are perfect for where I’m at in my fitness journey. I love the way the program is laid out in the app. It’s easy to see what I need to accomplish each week. I like the built in timers in the workout because they make it easy to transition between exercises in a set. I like that the moves are shown and there’s a detailed description of each move. It’s also easy substitute exercises, if needed. Im not following the meal plan right now, but I like that it’s available and have been inspired by the suggestions. The only thing I would change, and it’s really minor, is the timer for the cardio. Instead of counting down from the selected time, I wish it worked like the Map My Run app where I start the timer and stop whenever I’m done. Overall, I love the app and highly recommend it. It’s so easy to use which helps me stick to my program and actually makes me look forward to working out.

My Go To. I follow this program religiously. I love the variety of workouts and I know I’m following a safe and organized program. It’s a million times better than doing random workouts from Instagram and a lot easier than trying to create a journal or program of your own. It’s easy to follow and makes going to the gym on a busy schedule that much easier. I love this program and the women involved that partnered with Kayla to create this. They keep adding variety so I don’t think I’d ever turn to another app. The way it keeps track of my progress is great too. All the work-outs cater to different tastes and they are really effective. Totally worth the $20. Occasionally there are app issues but that is usually solved quickly and with app updates. I’ve used this app for years and it’s the best one on the market. I think the way it explains moves and shows how to do them has really helped me feel confident in the gym too. Most women I think are a bit timid to go into the weights section of a gym for fear of incorrect form and some dude coming up to tell them they’re doing it wrong, this app eliminates that!

Love this app!!. I absolutely love this stupid app. It’s got me excited to go to the gym and setting up a schedule and I’ve never had that before. I don’t use the meal planner because I’m a poor college student, so I don’t do much grocery shopping, but the option is there and I really like the meals it offers. There are a few things I would change, but the pros so outweigh the cons that they’re easy to pass over when deciding between 4 or 5 stars. One, I wish that it gave you the option to change the default warm up setting. Sometimes I forget to change it and it jumps right into the workout and I don’t want that. Also, as someone else said, the mile tracker is wayyy off, but I’m not super concerned with miles right now, I’m just trying to build a cardio base, and I could always just use another app. Lastly, all the tapping is annoying at times, but so sometimes I just don’t do it. I just remember what exercise is coming next and I do it. For the supersets I just use the clock at the top to count my 30 seconds. Overall, such a good app. I can’t keep the subscription going because, like I said, poor college student and I’m trying to afford a trip to Japan this summer, but holy cow I’m still debating paying for it. I really do love this app. The workout counter keeps me motivated and on track and the workouts are so much fun. I’m really seeing changes and I’m really happy. Thanks Sweat Team!

I’m in the best shape of my life. Ever since I started this app, my body is the most toned it’s ever been. It’s engaging with videos that show how exactly to do any exercise and details written in case you need more clarification. It makes you SWEAT for real. I’ve never used an app to work out before but this is engaging, rewarding, and makes working out fun. I feel AMAZING after each workout because it’s intense and it encourages you to take pictures afterwards which helps with documenting your journey. I also get to work out from the comfort of my own home which makes me sweat and move and push myself with no inhibitions which makes me work out harder than being in any gym. You save time and push yourself more and sweat like crazy and you feel amazing and get to relish in it afterwards. I have a very busy schedule and would never be able to workout with this intensity without this app. And it helps you out with meals too if that weren’t enough! I love my body and alot of this confidence comes from this SWEAT app that a friend randomly recommended to me at a Christmas party last year. Who would have known it would change my life this much!!!!

Love FIERCE. I decided to try this app based on Chontel Duncan’s instagram profile and I can say that overall I’m very pleased with what I have access to. I’ve tried 2 other instructors and their classes were good too. I have been using since Dec 2019. You need a decent home gym to do these at home but it’s totally worth it. It’s cheaper in the long run and you’re not competing for equipment like you would at a regular gym. I have what I think is bare minimum - squat rack & bench press combined, Olympic bar and plates, and dumbbell pairs in 4 sizes, skipping rope and 2 homemade boxes for jumps. Other exercises I just find alternatives for. I like the set up of the workouts and that there are many to choose from. Sometimes advancing to next exercise is tedious especially for supersets that are not timed exercises. My only peeve is that the app is only compatible with Apple Watch and devices. I wish it had the option of syncing to Garmin watches as all my strength and cardio sessions are recorded on that. It’s annoying that I can’t sync my sessions on the Garmin with the Sweat App. Also I wish there was a voice prompt feature where you could move to next set without physically touching the >> button.

Could use a few small tweaks. First let me say, I LOVE this app! It is truly life-changing and so inspiring being connected to so many women on similar fitness journeys!! If you’re thinking about trying it out, DO IT!!! However I do have a couple suggestions I think could improve the app. One is that during certain workouts within circuits that are timed, my phone only vibrates to indicate the time (ex. 30 seconds) is up. But when I’m sweating and breathing hard, I don’t really pay attention to this and have to keep my phone on me or in my hand to know the time is up. It would be nice to have a chime or something go off, similar to the buzzer that sounds when you finish a full circuit in a workout. The other suggestion I have is to add more customizable amounts of how much is water consumed during the day. For instance, I have a 20 oz. cup I sometimes use for my tea, which I add to my water consumption, being that it is unsweetened with nothing else added. But I only have the option of 16 or 24 oz., neither of which is correct. These additions would be helpful in the app, however I cannot complain because I think Sweat is incredible and will continue to use it regardless.

Love the programs! App could use an update. I love the concept of this app. Essentially, Kayla and the girls serve as person trainers, providing users with weekly workouts and showing us how to properly execute each movement. This a huge, because I used to do some movements incorrectly, which meant not only was I not properly engaging my muscles, I was also putting myself at risk of an injury. A+ in this aspect. The app itself though could use a few simple updates. First, if you start a (let’s say 30 minute) cardio workout, but you finish your desired milage early (let’s say 27 minutes), you cannot “end the workout” without losing your time, mileage, and distance. The entire workout is erased, and does not count towards your weekly cardio goal. Seems silly, but as a former cardio-addict, I think cutting your mile time is something to be celebrated. Also, in the comment section of the app - a really awesome, inspirational feature I must say - the comments on posts are in descending order as opposed to ascending order. This means that the first comment ever posted on a chat always shows first, meaning you need to scroll and wait to load new comments. When I look at transformations, I want to see updates! Over all, though, a really great app.

Love, love, love this app!!. I’m updating my review from several years ago. I still love this app and in fact love it even more. I started doing Kayla’s app on and off years ago, but my daughter and I have been doing this app regularly for the last year and a half. We started with Kayla’s HIIT program but that was just too high impact for me. We did Stephanie’s weight training at home & finished the full 15 week program and loved it! We’ve done some challenges in between. We’re trying out Kayla’s low impact program now, going into week 5, and we really like it too. I like this one because it’s only a 1/2 hr long and it works into our schedule right now. We will eventually try to do the extra weeks that Stephanie just recently adde to her weight training at home program. I’m really starting to see results and I’m looking forward to seeing how things progress. I love that Kayla has added so many different trainers and exercises for all fitness levels. Anyone should be able to find a program that suits them and their needs. I also like the trainers philosophy on eating: eat a well balanced diet and don’t deprive yourself of things that you like to eat. I would (& have) recommended this app!

Love This App. I love this app because like allot of people, I’m really bad motivating myself while I’m in the gym. Two factors; I like my own specific Dj sets to listen to which I’m so glad I can still listen while using the app, but I also prefer someone telling me what to do and timing me or giving me rep count so I don’t have to look at a freaking notebook or scroll through my phone to find some article with a workout plan thus just wasting time and spending even more time in the gym. This app just makes the process easy to understand and keep motivation through out as it literally walks you through step by step. So if you’re worried about your phone being on the entire time then just keep in mind you might need this app for the motivation, time management, and seeing the movement itself for proper form (as not everyone knows what every exercise looks like. For example did you know a proper squat needs you to focus on pushing your knees out? I see so many people letting their knees buckle in and then wonder why their back and rest of the body hurts from misalignment.) So just shut your phone off if you’re doing cardio, you can always go back and mark it as complete. The food options are amazing and so easy to make, no excuses on “I don’t have time” ! I’m just overall really impressed with this app, thank you so much !

Changed my life. Awesome app; WELL worth the money. Not an easy fix to fitness; you have to work for it, but Sweat does such a great job of holding you accountable. You can track your progress, chat with the community, change programs in the middle, they offer a meal plan. The workouts take an average of 30 minutes; it’s not a huge chunk out of your day. I work out at home during nap time while my kids are asleep. If you need to you can do a quick workout or choose one from another program; you’re not shackled to ONE Monday workout, a Tuesday workout, a Wednesday workout, and so on. You can change it up if you get bored or if your circumstances change. I bought it four months after baby #2, and my life completely changed. I don’t have a gym membership and can do my workouts at home. But should I get a gym membership, they have programs that require equipment. If I miss nap time and have to work out while my kids are awake, I can opt for cardio so I can jog behind the stroller or yoga so my two-year-old can workout with me. It can be strict cut and dry or flexible, whatever you need it to be. SO worth the money; you won’t look back.

😍. I’ve been rotating through a bunch of different workout programs for the last year and a half and I am almost mad at myself that I didn’t just start with the Sweat app. Oh my god it’s every good thing about all the other programs all in one convenient place. The food is delicious and it’s never the same thing over and over. The workouts are AMAZING. All you need is a half an hour to guarantee a sweat and sore muscles the next day. The weekly challenges also make it fun! I love that they have options for weight loss or strength. I’m using the strength training one and it’s just 😍 I also love all the information easily accessible in the app - everything about why the program is structured the way it is. And if is SO EASY TO USE. The timers are perfect - really keeps me on track with every workout. The only thing I would change is that it would be good to have an option to swap meals out for certain days of the week, because some days I have time for a certain recipe and other days I don’t. But overall, if you’re considering this program, just do it. You won’t be disappointed. I wish I hadn’t waited as long as I did!

Best fitness app for women!!!. I’ve been using sweat for 3 years and I absolutely LOVE it!! The app is really easy to navigate and I love the fact that it syncs with your calendar so you can really plan your workouts. There are so many different programs to choose from so something for everyone! The community is so supportive and encouraging. The information that Kayla and her team provide is really helpful for those who have never worked out before or those who wish to understand more about exercising and nutrition! I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a sustainable and practical way to improve their overall fitness and health.

It’s fine. Tl;dr: if you want a boring workout with just a set of exercises and a voice telling you which exercise it is while a timer counts down, this is for you. If you believe working out is something more, I’d try Alo Moves instead. The longer you use this app, the more repetitive the workouts become. Not just within a trainer’s program, but across the board. There’s no enthusiasm from the trainers and there’s no engagement even in the pilates and barre classes, which is not typical for those types of workouts. I unfortunately signed up for annual membership thinking there had been improvements made to the workouts (what with the constant “updates”) but the focus seems to be on just adding more workouts, not adding diversity or evolving the app. I have contacted customer service but whether or not I’ll get my money back for workouts I don’t enjoy, remains to be seen.

Good not great. It’s not a bad app when the gym isn’t an option, but it’s probably not a good app for people just getting into fitness for the first time. The beginner workouts are hardly for beginners, I’m a fairly athletic person, and while I hadn’t worked out in a few weeks when I started using the app, the beginner workouts were still challenging for me, it would be pretty discouraging for someone who’s actually working out for the first time. The workouts go from 0 to 100 real quick too, the progression is way too quick, one week you’re on knee pushups and the next you’re doing full push-up burpees. It would be good to see the instruction video doing the exercises at a realistic pace as well, seeing only 2-4 reps of the exercise on repeat at a really fast pace is misleading and leads to people trying to maintain the pace demonstrated while compromising form. Having said all that I did enjoy the workouts for a while, Kayla can pack an intense workout into a short amount of time, but after doing the program for about 3 months I lost interest.

Fantastic workouts, but glitchy app. THE GOOD STUFF: I’ve just completed Week 1 of PWR, and I can safely say the exercises are worth the $$$. I love the on-screen exercise demos with optional further details if you’re still not sure how to do the movement correctly. The timers, positive reinforcement after each circuit, and rest breaks are exactly what I need to keep motivated throughout my session! THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF: I find the app to be extremely glitchy, which is not great even the ongoing cost. I’ve had to stop my workouts several times to restart because the app has frozen, plus each data save takes a fair while to load. The most frustrating thing for me is that the app does not have the functionality to add workouts or rest days to the calendar after that day has passed. Seems like a simple function, but would go a long way in keeping people motivated when they can see all of their hard work on one calendar! With a couple of minor tech improvements I would recommend this app 100%

Great gym buddy. I really like this program and the huge variety it offers, it’s come so far since the BBG PDF days! The meals suggestions are really useful as well, thank you for bringing such a well thought out fitness program to so many people who were lost at the gym before. Could I please suggest that you make a way to alternate an exercise while the workout is running? Sometimes the equipment I need is being used and it would be really convenient to quickly sub something else in without having to wait. Secondly, I have dodgy knee ligaments and some days lunges just do not agree with them, so I need to slow right down, which means I don’t get through the circuits as quickly as I could if I could just quickly change to alternative part-way through. Keep up the great work ladies! I’m looking forward to moving through all the programs.

Really well designed. Really well designed app - easy to use, great layout and functionality, all the features are useful and effective, videos work really well and along with the instructions make it very easy to follow the exercises correctly and effectively. The best point I could make is that I’m still using the app and following the exercise routine every week more than 6 months on - and I have never been one to get into exercise. Plus I have seen great results physically, beyond what I was hoping for or expecting from trying this app. I also use this on my Apple Watch. One or two features on the Apple Watch that could be improved and some features can run a little slower, but overall also a great, useful and effective exercise app.

Brilliant Programming. I have absolutely loved this app for its ease of use. It’s so well balanced, the programs and workouts are amazing. I began on the Body Burn Challenge and completed the 4 week program and have now begun the Fierce Program. It really takes the thinking out of my workout and I can just watch the videos if I’m unsure of an exercise. If I don’t like the exercise for whatever reason, I can substitute it with another that works the same muscle group, making it so much more versatile for anyone to use. It also avoids burnout too as I don’t have to be in the gym or training at home everyday. I love the emphasis of the rest day each Sunday as that’s my meal prep day. I have had the app in the past but have never used it to its full capacity and I feel like it’s so much more improved than I last remember. I’m getting some great results and feel so good in my skin 🥰

A couple of tweaks please. Loving the app! Getting me excited about training consistently with a good level of challenge again. Exercises are explained clearly, there’s a great variety and a lot of options! I would love it if the exercises and stretches had a 3, 2, 1 count in and count out timer (before starting and before ending) so I can actually have my head facing where it should be during the exercise or during the stretch instead of moving it to face my phone (especially when some movements mean I’m on my back or over by the bench etc), even if the countdown timers were just an option that would be great! Also, could there be a possibility or running the stretches through without manually having to tap for the next stretch? Not sure if this is across all programs on sweat, as I’m just using fierce for now

Everything you need!. Have been going to the gym for years but have never been consistent until joining SWEAT! Have been using the app since 3mo post partum and it’s not only helped get me back into fitness but allowed me space for self care and to learn to love my body and self. These amazing women are inspirational and have your best interests, they’re not just in it for looks, fame and fortune, they genuinely care about spreading body positivity and healthy lifestyles for everyone. Life changing and redefining what exercise means. So thankful for Kayla, Kelsey and everyone on the SWEAT team. The community board also provides us the opportunity to continue that support to each other. Love love love!

Great!. I downloaded this app to help me exercise during quarantine. I’ve always made my own circuit training, but I wanted more variety. It’s only been few days but so far workouts has been awesome! Even though I was already reasonably fit I still got doms in places I usually don’t. I was sweating pretty hard by the end of 30min workout, so that was satisfying. Being in quarantine, zero equipment is what I wanted. I’m vegan so I wasn’t interested in dietary help but this app accommodates vegans too and although I haven’t used it yet, it’s great to have it there for when I need new ideas for snacks/meals. 2 things I would change if I could, is being able to mix different program. It can get repetitive sometimes. Another is announcement of next workout BEFORE it starts. If I don’t have to look at my phone to know what’s coming ahead, so I can workout full 30sec, that would be better! Overall, you can pay monthly and it’s def worth even trying for a month to see how you go!

The best workout app I’ve tried. This is the best app I’ve tried. I’ve used it for several years now and even before it was improved it was killer! They’re always updating to make small fixes and improvements too. It’s really practical at the gym or at home - I love that you can swap exercises mid workout if something isn’t right (eg you feel a niggling injury). I also love the freedom to try other programs and workouts, to swap between trainers and programs and the introduction of yoga and Pilates. So worth the money: I use all the weights and machines at the gym now without feeling self conscious and I have seen fantastic results. My fave is PWR, it’s been my most consistent program ever, but there’s really something for everyone here. Do it. It’s worth the small investment per month - way cheaper than a PT but gives you a great sense of direction and confidence in your workouts.

Powering my fitness with Sweat. I was introduced to the Sweat app by my daughter at the start of the Covid epidemic in 2020. Since the start I’ve enjoyed the physical challenge that the workouts provide. Not only do you have access to innumerable styles of fitness training but you get free access to menus that provide you with nutritious meals to aid you in improving your overall health too. I used the various programmes and styles at the beginning and then joined one of the Power challenges set by Kelsey Wells. At the completion of the challenge I stayed with the power-style workouts, doing Power at Home workouts in our little Carona-gym. Now that the gym is accessible once more, I access the gym style workouts on the days I attend the gym. Whilst in isolation as a covid contact I used the No Equipment version to keep my fitness levels up. I can say that the past 2 years of membership have seen me improve my fitness levels immensely. The concise descriptions of how to perform the exercises safely and effectively have been a great help in keeping me injury free! Thank you for a great fitness app!!

Very useful as a guide.. Really enjoying following the workouts each day. It’s nice to have a sort of personal trainer to just tell me what to do everyday so I don’t have to think and plan for myself, like I used to. You do need some equipment, so that’s something to think about if you don’t have that already. I enjoy the meal plan, however I use it more as a guide for portion control and macro nutrients, rather than to strictly follow each specific ingredient, I’ve got a family, so I don’t have that much time to spare on myself. Other than that, If you are a bit lost with what to do and what to eat, I really recommend this app. It takes the confusion out of health and fitness plans, it’s also cheaper than a trainer. I reckon the photos of the women in the app would be a tad intimidating for some women. The first picture you see when you go to sign up, is all six of them (bar one) staring aggressively at the camera. I know this is supposed to look powerful and cool, but every time I see this, I do a little eye roll lol. It’s a bit weird, considering they are the people who want you to buy their app. Wouldn’t you expect pictures of people who look... I don’t know, not like they want to tear your head off lol?

Highly Recommend this app. I love this app! I am a single parent with 3 little kids aged 7 and under. I can’t get to the gym right now and this app has given me an option to do great workouts at home with the kids around. I love the workouts. I have completed 13 weeks of BBG and lost 8 kgs plus a lot of cms off my hips and waist, and gained muscle tone, strength, increased my fitness, confidence, and overall well being. The BBG works outs are challenging and broken down into 7 minute blocks which I like because if I want to stop I can always tell myself “just do another 7 minutes”. The app is really easy to use and I love mixing up my workouts with some of the other programs and challenges. I love the progress photo feature also which makes tracking progress really easy and I find it very motivating. Overall, fantastic app and excellent workouts that give you great results.

I love this app!. I was recommended this app by a friend and was initially quite skeptical about if I would like it. In the first few weeks I will admit I struggled to adjust to this new way of working out but now I LOVE THIS APP. It has changed the way I work out and given me so much motivation to go to the gym and achieve something. No other workout plan / diet that I have tried has given me the results I have achieved from this and has made me feel as excited and positive about working out (which I used to dread). Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try something different or struggles to motivate themselves to work out - the app plans everything out for you and makes it so easy.

Loving it so far but some additional features would be great!. I like the app. I’m currently on PWR. I enjoy the training sessions and the proposal itself. When using machines and weights, I would like to input the weight I am on so I can track it in more detail. Also I’m a full time worker, I go to the gym at very busy times of the day so sometimes it is complicated to follow up the pyramid training as stablished because most of the time the equipment is busy for several minutes for what it is really impossible to follow the rutine. I am now just loading the training and go one by one as I go and find free equipment. I believe it would be a good idea to be able to “check” exercises on the list as we go on. Probably not great for the training but it would help for busy times at the gym.

Great app. Great app very helpful for at home workouts but it’s still not the same as having the atmosphere you get in the gym environment. Also some of the new updates like refer a friend banner in my face all the time when I have paid full price for this app for a second year running you would think our loyalty is how we would be rewarded not by trying to make other people pay for the app. A much better update would be the ability to take short videos of your form to post so as a community we could keep ourselves from getting sloppy and getting injuries. Also any friends we have through the community to see progress and cheer one another on ect would be awesome for our accountability I’m sure.

I LOVE SWEAT!. I am absolutely obsessed with this app! I’ve been doing the PWR program and absolutely love it! But I also like that you can still do workouts from the other programs when you feel like it. I train/play competitive footy so it’s good being able to do a more chilled out yoga session for recovery sometimes. I’m looking forward to trying some workouts from the two new programs, BUILD and FIERCE too! The app is super motivating and so easy to use (the videos are really helpful). I would 100% recommend! Only suggestion would be that sometimes I want to look at next week’s exercises but if I skip to the next week it seems to delete my previous progress. Not sure if this is something the SWEAT team are working on but a fix for this would be helpful. Overall an excellent and affordable workout app!

Didn internet will be more helpful- beware No refund policy on subscriptions. The app should of had different pages for the different goals of exercise you were archiving and I found that every time I went to a certain group of exercise it would suggest another exercise to try which I was getting really frustrating with, I found the recipes were almost non existent and being a celiac there were literally nothing for GF which struck a cord with me since it’s such a big thing these days. I found the clips of the exercises extremely annoying as You try to get into the zone but you have to scroll down for the next exercise, Videos and talk overs would of been 100 times better because you’re not stopping and starting to look at your phone after every exercise. I honestly felt the internet had a lot more information with every aspect of this app, I would do the 7 day trial because I would of been so annoyed if I paid a month or a year upfront as THERE IS NO REFUND ON THE SUBSCRIPTIONS!

Love the new updates... but substituted exercises don’t save to planner!!. I love that the new update allows users to substitute exercises based on equipment and filters for reason for substitution. However, I like to plan my workouts the day before and spent time making subs in preparation for tomorrow morning’s workout. I was disappointed to discover that my subs didn’t save when I scheduled my workout which makes the feature useless for me... like, who has time to make these changes when you’re aiming to do a 6am workout? I also do 2 programs simultaneously- BBG & Fierce at Home. Can you pls make changes to the planner function so I can easily add workouts from a particular week of a different plan without having to go to “manage my program”? Lastly, new workout updates, such as Fierce at Home 3.0 should be added before the preceding 12 wk plan ends. It’s frustrating to finish a program and have to wait for new updates... surely this can be planned and updated in advance (for example when I finished Fierce at Home 1.0 it took several weeks for the 2.0 program to be released). Otherwise I love this app- it’s my daily go to for working out and keeps me motivated

Best fitness app I’ve ever had. I love this app! Have had it for 2 months now. Had planned to cancel after my free month subscription at the end, but ended up subscribing for a year (works out $2.30 per week) which is so cheap! This is a program that could work for anyone and everyone! The recipes taste good and are all pretty easy and its good that it generates a shopping list. The only downside (for me) is that I usually meal prep on Sunday. The meal plan won’t work for people who meal prep one night of the week. The meal plan comes up with 5 different meals every single day. I don’t have time to make a new meals 5 times a day. I wish there was a way to choose a simpler meal plan option. For now I’ll just pick 2 days times the ingredients by 7 (for husband and me), make all meals on Sunday and eat them alternative for throughout the week. Hopefully a more simplistic plan might be in the works for the future??

Great exercise programs. I’ve been away from this app for a while and have only recently come back to it. I like the updated app. The programs (I’ve done the exercise programs by Kayla Itsines and Kelsey Wells) are great, however I’m disappointed to see that you still cannot log a workout on a previous day (there are so many times I’ve completed a workout and forgotten to log it on the actual day). It’d also be great to see, as someone previously mentioned, the ability to log weights used and number of reps (if you happened to complete a different number of reps than suggested). Also, when using a different workout app I could get an overview of the whole program and look ahead to the following week to see what my upcoming workouts would be like, which I cannot seem to do in this app. Overall, great exercise programs (thanks guys) but the app itself could improve.

Great. Really enjoy this app, think its great value for money. I would love if you could progress through two programs at once... like pick a trainer for weights and then when you go into the “by demand” tab, you could see sjanas entire program and pick the next yoga sesh you are up to. The other thing that could make it really awesome is a bit more added for advanced fitness, as theres been a-lot added for beginners. The food plan hasnt changed in years either, for a vegan its not diverse enough. Also, a boxing and cycling trainer would really top the app off. Then you would have just about everything you need. But overall, excellent app, have used it for years. Shout out to steph sanzo, im almost getting back to a 100kg deadlift after injury to my back 4 years ago and her programming alone is to thank for that because I've been trying to get back there for about that long.

A great app, but timer is annoying. Firstly, I love how many options you have with this app, it covers so many stages of fitness including yoga and post pregnancy which is great. BUT... I’ve only had this app a few days (infact still in my trial period) and I’m already frustrated with the way the timer reflects the exercise minutes on my Apple Watch. I’m a mum using the post-pregnancy program so rarely do I get any time without someone interrupting me. I pause the workout to tend to my kids but despite being paused the timer continues to count. When I finally get to resume the workout, my exercise ring is already completed although I’ve only done a few minutes of exercise. Today, my one 28-minute training session took me 100 minutes to complete. My watch tells me that I’ve been “crushing it” for closing the exercise ring more than three times, but in reality 28 minutes doesn’t close my exercise ring once. Why can’t the timer pause when the workout is paused like the workout app for Apple Watch does? It would be far more accurate if it did!

Love it!!. I am absolutely loving this app!!! After training at one of Chontel Duncan’s Hiit gyms for 20 months previous to changing gyms, I was pretty keen for a change of scenary so decided to give her Fierce program a go!! It really is awesome and just as intense as the workouts at Hiit. My only issue is if I’ve forgotten to put in my LISS (as I don’t use the timer within the app for these workouts) or Rest day in and remember a day or two later, that I can’t go back and edit a day (unless there is a way and I just haven’t been able to figure it out)!! I am about to start the Sweatnation 30 day challenge so I will have to be super vigilant about this so it records 30 consecutive days. But that’s my only gripe!! I have tried some of the workouts from the other trainers too and there really is something there for everyone, whether you have access to a gym or just want to do home workouts. No excuses 💪🏼

Amazing. The only exercise app I’ve ever consistently stuck with. It’s been 2.5 months snd I haven’t missed a session. The food plan is also great although I don’t follow it strictly I’ve taken a lot from it. I get so many comments from people about how great I look. Never thought I’d be one of those to get addicted to exercising but I’m getting close to it! My body shape has completely changed and I feel better physically and mentally. My one tip would be to only attempt one component first. Eg Nail the exercise program OR the food plan consistently for at least 2 months and then start the other component. Actually second tip would be to commit to doing at least some (?half) of your workouts early in the morning. Totally worth the money.

A few tweaks. Hey, loving your app! Just a few things I thought I’d point out that bother me that maybe you could modify. The ‘Fierce’ program doesn’t tell you when the exercise is finished so when you’re exercising you don’t know when to stop and change exercise unless you’re looking at your phone (which who can possibly do that). Also the timer and audio don’t work when your phones locked and unfortunately if you can’t afford cordless head phones you can’t really exercise and not lock your phone because you need to put it in your pocket. Another suggestion that I’d like to make is maybe you could add alternative exercises that work the same muscle group for those of us who live in rural areas with VERY basic overcrowded gyms that also do not have BATTLE ROPES (fierce program). I love battle ropes but unfortunately are not accessible for me so an alternative would be great! Lastly, I’m currently unable to connect to the playlists on the app not sure if this is my phones problem or a glitch in the program. Thanks! As I said I do love this program and I love the new additions to it! I love that I can finish work and go straight to the gym without having to think about what I need to do! For someone like me who was scared of weights because I had no clue what to do, how to do it or WHAT ON EARTH a superset was it’s been the best! So thanks again but please take my suggestions on board because I don’t like doing exercises longer than I have to.

Few tweaks needed. Hands down, best workout app I have used. However, it would be great if we could have some changes on the browse workout option. Right now, if one wanted to do 2 programs, say FAH and BBG zero, the only choices are - A) either go to browse, and choose workouts from the same week for both (if I am doing week 6 of FAH, I would have week 6 of BBG zero); B) schedule all workouts at the beginning of the week using manage my program option. However, it would be much more simple if and when we choose the browse option, while selecting a second program, we could have an option to select the week as well (just like in manage my program option). This way, one could seamlessly combine different programs as they wish.

Exciting and varied. I use this app every day and find it so helpful in keeping up with my workout routines. Each workout is different and that is great for someone like me who gets bored doing the same workout over and over again. It gradually builds in difficulty over time which really helps you see the most results. I like to add extra weights into the exercises with dumbbells as well. ☺️ The only thing I would like to see change is that some of the exercises are using gym experiment (e.g. weight lifting machines), and as I don’t (and I’d imagine many other users as well) have access to the equipment I’ve got to change the exercise myself. I think it would be great if they added an alternative exercise to those that require that kind of equipment, for the people working out at home on their own. ☺️ Otherwise I’ve found the app so helpful, and the BBG community posts always keep me motivated. It’s been amazing seeing my results and feeling stronger and more empowered! ☺️

It’s like a PT in your pocket!. I love how easy the app is to use and how convenient it is. You can literally do it anywhere anytime and the steps are so easy to follow. It’s like having a PT there with you! There is so many programs to choose from and I absolutely love that you can still choose to do other exercises outside of your program with other trainers 😍 if you’re like me and not a social butterfly then it’s great that the community chats are optional 🙈not only do you have access to all of this but there is even a meal planner 😱literally everything at your fingertips to get to a healthier you! I would prefer if it linked up to a smart watch because I quite often don’t have my phone on me to track steps etc. it would also be great to see something PCOS/endo friendly but other than that I can’t really fault it 😊

BEST FITNESS APP. I initially started with BBG in 2015. I loved the 12 week program and within 4 weeks i saw dramatic results. I tried many other programs double and triple the price of Kayla’s app but they weren’t easy to follow, didn’t have explicit instructions on how to do each exercise and if they did they only had an image. However, Kayla’s app has a video of the trainer doing the workout. In addition to all this, they have daily meal plans which i usually browse through and pick and choose from on a weekly basis. The introduction of other trainers lets me use a variety of workout methods which makes it more engaging and challenging. I absolutely love the blogs and community chat space! 5/5 stars!

4 stars- but room for slight improvement. This app really is great! It steps through your workouts clearly, and the videos and explanations make it easy to do on your own! Thank you Kayla and Co for putting this together! I do have 2 issues with the app. In previous fitness apps I have had the ability to enter my weights next to the exercise, and these weights would appear the next time I did the exercise. This is great so you can see your progress, and you know what weight you used last time and can increase if you want to step it up. I have to go in and out of the notes section on my phone to remember what weights I’ve used previously, which gets extremely annoying! The second issue I find is that I have a lot of food wastage, and a lot of food prep in the mornings (since I am not home most evenings). Many other food programs will use similar snacks throughout the week so you don’t waste food, and have leftovers for lunch from the night before. Also, many of the recipes are not easy to take to work (ie. A smoothie for an afternoon snack, I find if I make my smoothies in the morning the are not very nice by the afternoon!). Although, the food is yum!! Would be amazing to see some Low FODMAP options in the future.

Great fitness app! Just need planned/live alterations, then it’ll be perfect :). Hi Sweat app team, I’m loving the app and all the exercises - Kayla and the team have made workouts accessible and succinct and I love following the program and different challenges! I just have 2 suggestions which I personally could make the usability and functionality of the app even better: 1. Make available the option to “save” workouts with our preferred alternatives. I normally like to plan my workout hours or days in advance, but currently when I go to swap out the exercise for an alternative move, it doesn’t save and I have to do it all over again right before starting the workout (this then eats into my specified workout time!) 2. Make the substitution option available even after workout start, within the duration of the workout. Often I am well into a workout only to find that the machine I need to use is unavailable (out of order or being occupied by a slow poke haha) and swapping to an alternative move would be highly preferable. Appreciate all the hard work the team has put into making this app a great tool for the community - thanks and keep up the great effort!

Great app but room for improvement. I started using this app and feel the programs are great and easy to follow. There are a few improvement suggestion I would like the IT team to consider for future enhancement: 1) Integration into users calendar. If FitOn can do this and it’s a free app, I think it’s the least Sweat can offer this standard feature too. 2) Chromecast - Screen mirroring is such a terrible user experience. Users are usually required to pay for external app to cast their iOS to tv. Given the amount we pay, please consider improving the UX needs. Choosing multiple programs - I know there’s a way for this but the UX and UI is clunky. 3) Injuries - I know the app was up front that they don’t cater for injuries but given majority of users would have some form of injuries (long/short term), atleast provide some support (suggestions, alternative for specific injuries) would really help the users to take their training to the next level. 4) Fitbit and other 3rd app - Please update your app api so users can track our data via our smart watch. Again, this is great UX. Overall, Sweat need to invest more into the UX features.

Great app but some issues.. I love the app and the workouts but there is some serious issues with the dashboard weekly planner thing. I spent 20-30 minutes yesterday looking at my week and putting the workouts on the right days and times. Then went back in to look this morning and they were all gone? Then if I went to a different week and back they reappeared? THEN tonight I did Legs and it came up incompleted and completed LAST Monday, then when I went back to this week tonight’s workout was there as completed but every other workout disapeared?! Also I tried to submit this on the app as feedback and tried to attach images and the request dissapeared? All around a sorta easy app to navigate, I am glad I don’t use it for much other than the workouts and progress photos but it needs some work

LOVE!!! (With one small request). I have been using this app for 3 years and love it! I live remote in a community with no gym and so this app is absolutely perfect for me. I can’t wait to be back in the city and try the strength gym based programs!!! Not long ago I was so excited when I tapped on trainers and saw that I could try workouts from different programs based. I could choose the workout from a specific week. The ability to mix up my training style through choosing the trainer, program and then selecting a week and a workout was a game changer. I love variety in my workouts so I continued this process, without have to change my program, which I was also following. Recently, I went to use this function but I can see it is no longer there :( instead, it give the option to “switch program”. I would LOVE to see the is function back in the app!

Great app!! Saw results after 12 weeks. Love the app and love that I can see an alternative to either if I don’t have the equipments or easier. Don’t like that not all of them have alternatives as sometime I’m at small gym that doesn’t have everything. Not a fan of the meal plan as I’m allergic and can’t see a lot of replacement options, also kinda picky in what I eat but overall it has great recipes and workout plans. LOVE that it has more than one trainer and programs and you can chose which ever you like. Don’t like that the targeted area workout for Kyla doesn’t include all body parts. Still using alongside with other apps such as CCFIT and WORK IT as well as Keep Training for quick home equipment free workouts.

Love This App!. Such a great layout of workouts! Really enjoy the diversity of the trainers and the levels that each of them provide for. It’s a really accomodating app with great workouts for anyone of any ability. I found this such a great app when I wanted to get back into exercise it just didn’t know how. Everything was laid out for me, and I was able to really ease into it! Now I’m 10kg down and still really enjoying the app! Would love to see more tips and possibly good gouge from the trainers themselves, because they all provide different perspectives on health and training! Also a “like” button would be great for the workouts. That way we can easily access the random workouts we’ve done outside of a set program, so we can do them again in the future if we want!

Perfect. This is the perfect workout for busy people, like mums like myself, who just don’t have time to go to the gym, or hard working full time workers doing the daily 9-5 grind - it’s so worth it in my opinion, if I think of the cost for a gym, cost of my time, cost of stress with the kids and home life balanced with work life. We just went on a week holiday. Stayed in a little self contained villa and I took my yoga mat, two 2kg dumbells (just completed 4 weeks of beginner) and my foam roller and I was able to complete the full weeks workout with LISS on alternating days all at the villa. The program is so versatile, you can use any equipment at home, like stairs for the step ups and knee ups, etc - just be imaginative (and safe) - therefore, the program for me.....is just perfect. THANK YOU

Effective if you know what you’re doing. Long-time user of this app - on and off for the last five years - but have recently switched to other fitness apps due to more superior offerings for the same price ie guided workouts with verbal coaching and encouragement, particularly regarding form. SWEAT workouts are effective if you know what you’re doing. However, if you don’t, you do risk injury ie sore knees etc. Do appreciate that there are lengthy written instructions for the ‘silent’ workouts. However, in terms of user experience, most people (myself included) will not choose to pause their workout to scroll through pages of written instructions. You just want to keep moving and get it done! It would be wonderful to include more guided workouts like Kayla’s Dynamic High Intensity and Britany’s High Intensity Barre. (I know you do offer some guided options, but it would be great if there were more / verbal coaching for existing programs. Suggestion only: perhaps an audio option you can toggle on/off depending on whether the participant needs / wants guidance.

Great all rounder. I’ve been using this for a couple of years now. I’ve had problems with inconsistency but I truly do love this app. I love that they now have all sorts of fitness choices. You can do yoga, Pilates and so much more. It’s always inspiring and being connected on socials helps so much too. There is also a pretty awesome community behind it and I think I’ll keep using this for some time to come. I’m finally getting stuck into my fitness and being consistent and being able to change workout types or choose one on demand any time helps with the motivation too. My only down side is I wish the meals were more customisable. I would love to be able to swap meals as you choose on certain days as sometimes I don’t feel like that meal or I don’t have everything on hand but that’s my only downside.

Feedback. I love the workouts, the community and the extras like nutrition, etc. BUT if I could give you a little feedback, I would love the app to be easier to navigate without necessarily having to look through each program to see what you can or can’t do at that moment (gyms sometimes are really busy, so sometimes we only have certain things available and also limited time). It would be great to get a search bar where you can just type things like “squats”, “crunches”, “leg press” and get suggestions on what program to do based on that so that we could create a program based on what we have. Hope this helps! And don’t get me wrong I love that I get to follow programs when I go to the gym because I often don’t really know what to do to target different areas of my body. But yes just a little suggestion. Keep up the great work!

Perfect for working out at home. Love this app! It took a little while to figure out how to navigate my way around the app but now it’s easy. I did BBG Beginner for four weeks first and it was tough as I hadn’t done exercises like that in a long time! Now I’m two weeks into BBG1 and while the exercises are still very challenging I’m gaining strength every week and seeing changes in my body composition. The main reason why I love this app though, is because it’s like having a personal trainer in your pocket. I get up in the mornings and do the exercises in my living room, you don’t need a lot of equipment and the program keeps me on track and accountable and it’s much cheaper than a gym membership. You can also ask questions in the community forum or contact Sweat directly and everyone is very helpful!

Excellent!. I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now and I can honestly say I do enjoy it! It does what it needs to and also gives me motivation to do it! It seems costly at first but it is worth it when you look at a weekly cost. The only improvement could be if during the cool down stretches there was an alert that goes with the timer so you knew when to change to the next stretch. Also with the liss/hiit it would be good if you could manually add distance and steps etc if you’re doing the running on a treadmill. But I might have just not figured out how to do this. All in all really enjoy the app as it keeps me accountable and motivated to go. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Workout App. There is not many trainers and workout apps out there that cater for pregnancy and post pregnancy workout. I didn’t have this app while pregnant but I wish I discovered it. I got this app as someone recommended it for their post pregnancy program following a c section. The program has really captured the reality our bodies go through to have a baby particularly the c section journey. It is a slow and steady program that gradually increases in intensity as your body starts to get use to using all types of muscles again. The variety of programs look great. I can’t wait to try more. The food is budget friendly. Only thing about the food is that when you click on a recipe and mark it as a favourite, it doesn’t add it to a favourites folder like the workouts. But I understand Sweat are working on bringing this in as I had enquired about this.

Changed my life after baby. I had used the Sweat PDFs since 2015, but only got the app three months after giving birth in 2020. Worked out using both post-partum programs then moved onto PWR at Home, around five days a week. It got my FIT, not just pre-pregnancy weight, but fitter than I’ve ever been! Now 19 months after my daughter was born, it’s still what a make time for during naps and I love how it’s helped mentally (I’m Canadian living in Australia so haven’t seen my loved ones in so long) and absolutely physically. I know you shouldn’t focus on looks, but I’m soooo happy with how I look, I had no idea I could be fitter after a baby! And there’s so many programs for every interest, it’s wonderful!

Beware! Grossly misleading monthly charge information. I am absolutely disgusted with this app, and it’s deceiving advertising. I was interested in downloading the app so I web on and had a look at what it cost. Being a uni student I was enticed to the “$119 a year price, $9.99 BILLED MONTHLY option. I was under the impression that if you sign up to a subscription that states the yearly fee is broken up into $9.99 billed monthly then that is what you would pay. However, as soon as I put my card details in I was charged the entire $119 a whole years worth in one transaction. Their adverting is completely misleading and deceiving. I contacted their support team only to be told there is nothing they can do and that the transaction that went through was correct. I would not have signed up had it cost me $119 in one transaction. Why even both having the $9.99 in brackets BILLED MONTHLY if this is not what you are going to charge people. I will be forwarding on my complaint to consumer affairs as this is false adverting and drastically misleading the consumer.

My saviour!. Sweat is the easiest way to stay on track and keep fit and strong. I have been a member of SWEAT for five years and every week I still feel as though I am challenged. My young girls watch me follow the app to complete my weekly workouts. They love helping me press the arrow to the next exercise! I love that I can be a great role model for my girls as they watch me exercise rather than putting them in a creche at the gym. I can do a Sweat workout at home with minimal equipment, in the backyard or indoors on a hot day under the aircon. I highly recommend this program for anyone who is starting an exercise program or continuing an exercise program. Sweat has been my saviour through the ups and downs of life. Its brilliant and I’m proud to be part of this community.

Finally a program that I can stick too. The BBG is brilliant for me ... I have lost 8kg and my body is transforming. The training starts out with a beginner guide for 4 weeks and then the intensity increases. The great thing is you can choose your weeks or go back and start again if you fall off the wagon. The meals plans work well and can be adapted to suit your own needs.. and there is a great community website that keeps you in touch with like minded people at various stages of the programme. As long as I charge my IPad I'm good to go... I log my workouts resistance and cardio along with rest days. I look forward to working out, knowing what training session I should complete in the evening. It’s been 23 months now and I know I will still be utilising this programme in Jan when it will be a 2 years !

Great app! Couple of suggestions though.... I’ve been using the Sweat app for about 3 years now and love all the improvements that have been made recently with new programs, interface etc. just a couple of suggestions that would make this a 5 star app in my opinion: 1. A Prenatal fitness program that can be used throughout pregnancy would be amazing! I am currently 12weeks pregnant and modifying some moves from the Pwr at Home program. I’m finding this is generally ok but would love to see a pregnancy specific program so I don’t have to think about it or plan modified moves ahead of my workout session! 2. The planner screen which tracks my weekly workouts is never accurate, in that when I choose to do a workout that isn’t one of the three resistance workouts in the program I’m currently doing, it doesn’t record the activity. Very frustrating as I like to look back each week and see that I’ve completed all three resistance sessions!

Amazing!. Just hit my 26-week streak with Sweat. The workouts are challenging, but doable, and I’m perhaps the strongest I’ve been in my life!

Cassie. Love the app!

👎. I wanted to use an app for free but as soon as I signed up it asked me to pay.

WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Signed up for a 7 day trial then cancelled and found out 8 months later I had been charged 19.99 a month to my credit card AND with no billing notifications!!! Be aware this app is ethically corrupt.

Awesome app!. Easy to work with! Keeps you on track! Definitely recommend that to anyone!!

Not free. Free to download not free to use. Subscription required.

Super application. Interactif, facile à suivre! ❤️✨💕

Love this app!. Love love love!

Affordable with wide selection. Affordable with wide selection of exercises Cheaper than other apps

Gets clients by proposing a free trial but made me pay right away!. Ok so I used to be on BBG BEFORE my pregnancy. I am 7 months post partum and they proposed me a 7 days free trial. (Note here that i said I used bbg before, so not a new client) Seeing as there is more than one program on this app, when they proposed me 7 days free trial DIRECTLY IN THE APP I USED A YEAR AGO (so they know im not a new client RIGHT?)- I said to myself HUM I could try the post pregnancy program... which i never did!? so I gave a try to the 7 days free trial but it CHARGED ME the 1 month right away BEFORE even telling me it was charging me, that I wasnt elligible for a free trial since I had been a client already... So I emailed the customer service, they told me apple should have told me i couldnt have the 7 days free to contact them. Which I also did and never got a damn answer from apple, i had to retry to get a damn refund to get an error message telling me I am not elligible for a refund. What a waste of energy and time AND money. I didnt even like the post pregnancy program so I CANCELLED my supposedly free trial (HAHA) after a couple days. I am beyond frustrated with the management of this situation.

Workout!. Great app. Worth every penny!

Love. Been using SWEAT for 7 months consistently and I love it. The only thing I wish was different were the meal plans. They aren’t very exclusive to lower income or a diet outside of Australia. In Canada we can’t get half the foods on there at a reasonable price point. Nor are they meal I can feed kids. So if you’re wanting an all in one personal trainer and nutritionist and you live outside warmer climates where fresh foods aren’t available all year round might not be the app for you. But if you love waking up and just hitting play with no thought to your workouts this is the app for you.

Keep getting charged. I canceled my membership a few months ago because I find it way too pricy. Even though I canceled it, I keep getting charged!!

The best workout app!. ❤️

Two thumbs up. Love this app! Best there is out there and I’m seeing results! But I wish they would bring back FULL BODY WORKOUTS in pwr with Kelsey wells

Returning customer. 1 year absence but decided this app kept me accountable and current.. I purchased this membership in 2020 and it has improved since. I’ll continue as it keeps me happy.

So sad and disappointed. I was so looking forward to using this app to help guide and aide me into losing well over 60+ pounds , however when I went to sign up the wording and subscription info was very misleading and unfortunately worded terribly. I thought I was agreeing to 9.99 a month , not a paid in full charge of 135.95$ for an entire year... why put 9.99 to make people believe they’re paying monthly and then charge the full pop. I had to request a refund through Apple, and thankfully they are giving it to me but if they couldn’t I would be in a really bad position right now. Again, I’m sure the app is good and I truly wish I could’ve used it , however 135.95 I just could not swing that. Maybe try the 9.99$ ☺️

Great. Second year and the programs are so accommodating for schedule, home vs gym, equipment availability, and capability.

im really enjoying this app. this is a fun app that really makes it seem easy to get started with exercising and eating better. thank you kayla and toby!!

Best ever. Easy to follow along very challenging !! Love this app and best is you don't need a gym and there only 28 min long!!!

Love. Kaylas app has changed my workouts. The plan is easy to follow and slowly builds up intensity making each week different and exciting. Workouts are 30 minutes and the food plan is delicious. The recipes are built in single portions. I have never had problems with the app not working or crashing. As well I have never had problems with being double charged etc. The BBG community is awesome. Overall, I would highly recommend the Kayla app and subscription. I'm currently on week 40 and will be renewing my membership :)

Rip Off!!. I signed up thinking I have a seven day free trial first before deciding if this was for me or not. I was instantly charged for a full year!! I tried to cancel everything on the app and through my Apple ID and the payment was processed anyway. I am not impressed with this at all!! I hadn’t even tried the App as I had just downloaded This is a complete rip-off and a money grab!! Please refund immediately!! I have no interest in using this app anymore now!! I have tried to reach Support for the App and they will not respond at all. $125.99 out 😡😡😡

One of the only apps keeping me consistent. Honestly I’ve always had an “on again, off again” relationship with working out. But I tend to keep coming back to this app because of how easy it makes to follow the program and how I can scale up or down with energy, life, etc.

How can you not even refund people, it’s fraud. Ive enter the program and I really didn't like it , not at all .. very complicated to set . I wanted to get a refunds but they don’t refund our money even if you quit the program . They propose to get a free 7 days trial but they charge you almost 137$ for nothing , they said its like 9.99$/months but no they take your money and they app sucks . Its even worst then buying somethig on Wish ... im really disapointed it want my money back

Need notes section. I love the app, I’m an OG from 8 years ago pre app! But I would love a notes section.

5 years and counting. I love this app, it’s been a long term life changer! Thank you!

Abusing the system. Dear App Store, Please crack down on apps like these that categorize themselves as free apps which offer in-app purchases, for which you actually can’t do anything in without committing to a 7 day trial followed by paid membership (actually the most expensive option), or directly choosing paid membership (the cheapest option being paying for one year upfront). You can’t see anything inside the app without choosing one of these options and there are no details about the cancellation process if you choose not to continue after the trial. This is dishonest and I believe it abuses being listed as a free app.

Great App. App keeps me motivated!

Amazing app!. To me, who has no self discipline, this is the only app that got me moving persistently for 5 weeks now! The app can be heavy and slow at times (ex: the timer gets stuck and has to "catch up" during the workout). Also, the calendar part of the app could be improved to be more flexible. And it would also be nice to have the option to hear the exercises being called out so that you don't have to constantly look at your phone to see what you have to do next. But don't let these comments discourage you, this app is worth every penny you put in it and all this sweat will make you feel great. Enjoy!

Easy to use!. I love this app! Workouts are easy to follow and the instructions are super helpful. I have never felt more confident entering the gym! It's like having a personal trainer in your pocket!

Programs. I wish we could build more easily our own series of program with the on demand workout already there.

Good workout!. Helps me improve my strength and at the same time helps me to create new habits and stick to them! I also enjoy the flexible scheduling. I would like an option to start my week on a different day, because I like the standard schedule, but having it begin on a different day would be better for me. At any rate, it is still easy to switch around and I’m happy!

Would not recommend. I started a one week free trial to check the app out before purchasing but after registering told me program starts on Monday! Also once you choose a program and wait for it begin you can’t check out other work outs and have to wait day by day to see whats on. I definitely won’t recommend

Amazing app. Keep me motivated all year long!

A proud subscriber. Love you always!🥰

Cancelled and was still billed. I downloaded am Don signed up for the free trial out of curiosity. After viewing the workouts I decided it was not for me and cancelled. I was very disappointed when I was still billed after the free trial. I emailed them to explain what happened and they would not refund. Disappointing 😔

Poor Customer Service. I was charged $19.99 for a subscription after I thought I had cancelled through the App Store when my trial ended. I hadn’t used the app on over two months and didn’t even have it installed. Customer service said there was no policy in place to issue refunds which is very disappointing seeing as I wasn’t even using the service.

Super expensive. $20 a month is ok maybe if you don’t have a gym membership but to pay for a gym membership and this app is ridiculously expensive when there’s millions of apps cheaper that do the same thing . Katy Hearn fitness for example . $5-$6 a month would be reasonable .

Great app but keeps glitching. Love the app and the workouts but the app keeps glitching so that I can’t scroll through to the right, it just keeps hopping back to the first option (I.e. can’t scroll to shoulders/abs in the program I’m doing it just keeps jumping back to chest and shoulders). It’s quite annoying! If they could fix that, I’d have no issues.

my review. I just absolutely LOVE it! soo completed, well explained and well done! it's my go-to app for all my fitness journey 👌🏻

“Free trial”?. So I downloaded this app and cancelled after about 6 days as it wasn’t all that I had hoped. Within the app there is a button that says “CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION”, I was then charged $22 dollars. After contacting Apple support this is the answer I received: “I would like to inform you that the subscription will not cancel if you cancel within the app”. So either I’m the only one on the planet that doesn’t know this ‘obvious’ piece of information, or this is extremely misleading and basically steals your money. Just a warning for everyone.

My favorite App ever !. Always nee stuff, great trainers, the best training app I know

Great App but SCAM. Great app but I was using for over 3 months. With a 3 month deal. I canceled it on the APP store subscription. Then I just got a charge to my PayPal under the company Bikini Body Training Co. LTD which is this company. It’s showing up no where on my Apple account which is very Sketchy... I can’t find anywhere to get refunded. Not only that when I log into the app it says my subscription is over. I clearly got charged and it’s very difficult to find any customer service. Beware!!!!

Best workout app!. This app is user friendly and well designed. It’s full of awesome programs which you can adapt to any fitness level. I love the variety and the ability to workout from home.

Best workout app!. The best guide for any type of workout you’re looking for. As a mom of 3 littles, working at home is the best option for me right now. This app gives me the freedom of when and where I am able to do my workout. I have very little equipment at home and this app gives me options for exactly what I have and need. Highly recommend for postpartum, intermediate and advanced programs!!

Poor customer service. Didn’t even have the app and money was taken from my account, I contacted them immediately to explain I signed up for a trial but never even used the app but was given a oh that sounds like a you problem. Not supporting business who are willing to take money from people. Not impressed, used to follow Kayla before she became money hungry. Too bad...

Love the build program. A variety of workout programs for all interests. I love the Build weightlifting program - a beginner 12 week program is available for those just starting to lift.

WORST APP EVER - Stole my money - BEWARE!. Stole my money. Refused to refund even though I cancelled my subscription. Totally unacceptable customer service.

Scam!!. They have a tutorial online to cancel the app from the apple subscription but nothing in particular for paypal. I kept checking my subscription acct to make sure it has been cancelled but they fail to inform that because i paid via PayPal that I will have to cancel it on the PayPal website. SCAM!

Exceeded my expectations!. I am so incredibly impressed with how well done this app is. And not to mention the endless options you can workout forever using these programs. Soo happy I decided to buy it. $20/month is worth it.

Great guide..could use improvements. I am currently entering my third week of BBG. So early on this is more about the interface than my results. Pros: I like the week planning and the work outs. It’s a circuit but you can go as fast as you need to go. This is my second week and so far I can complete two laps per circuit. I expect to be able to do the rounds much faster as I lose weight. If you’ll use it the food part looks ok, I can’t comment on it bc I count calories / track macros with MyFitnessPal...if I could do that on this app maybe I would use it Cons: I wish the app kept actual metrics over time. I can’t see how many laps I did, what does that equal in squats etc. I’ve started my own excel sheet to track and see how many reps I can actually complete from now and a year from now. If I was able to tap on a work out from the past and see what I did that would be very helpful. Secondly, if sweat and Fitbit could sync I would be so happy. While I like that the app doesn’t rush you, it’s also a pain to have my phone and tap between exercises when I wish I could just do it on my wrist.

Buggy, intuitive, strange features. I am 6 weeks through BBG 1.0 on this app. I also completed the same program a year ago using this app. Pros: the workouts are good and I like the interface you get while doing the circuits Cons: the calendar is buggy and unintuitive - you basically have to schedule workouts one by one from the workout page, not from the calendar page; you can't select a day on the calendar and add a workout from there unless it's the recommended one, which you only get as an option if you have opted in to the recommended schedule. additionally, you can only mark a workout complete on the current day you're using the app, not retroactively, which is frustrating if you forgot to record LISS or if the app bugs out and doesn't record. separately, the Nutrition and Community pages are not useful and seem like a waste of space on the app. and finally, the instructions for each exercise are these long sentences and sometimes paragraphs for each step and the video of the exercise just keeps playing while you're trying to read the instructions, rather than showing an image or isolated part of the exercise that aligns with each step.

The best exercise app in the world!. I started using the SWEAT app about 2 years ago, and it has yet to let me down with what it has to offer. There is a wide range of workouts to choose: from yoga to barre to weight lifting, the options are endless. Being someone who can get easily bored by the same routine, the variety this app offers is AMAZING. And the quality of how these workouts are recorded is high, with the instructor not only showing how to do the workout with a breakdown of how to keep good form, but they also give some motivational shoutouts which is great. Outside of the workouts, there are challenges which provides a form of a support system when trying to get through a workout. There is also a food planner which gives you options on healthy meals, which give you the nutrients and energy to get these workouts done but they’re also delicious meals for a wide range of diets! I’m vegan, and the meals they have for a vegan diet are so cool. Would HIGHLY recommend this app, you truly will not be disappointed!

C.M.. I had almost given up on losing weight and getting fit again. My metabolism slowed down dramatically when I hit 40 and my old workout routine was no longer keeping me fit. I am 6 weeks into using Sweat and I am shocked at how my body has changed. I’ve been doing the HIIT workouts 3-4 days a week and doing sprints outside on my off days. My clothes are all loose, I can see my waist again and I feel so strong. I have recommended this app to all my friends and family. It is so user friendly and the best part about Sweat is how fun the workouts are!!! I went through our barn and found an old chair, and some floor mats. I bought a couple of dumb bells and a few resistance bands and that’s all I needed to get started. I didn’t have to invest a huge amount of money in equipment or have an expensive gym membership!!! I just committed to the program and waited patiently for the results. Thank you, Sweat for creating an amazing app that has given me hope for staying fit as I go through my 40’s and beyond!!

Love this app. This app has really helped me breakout of my comfort zone by showing me step by step tutorials of gym based workouts. Most of my life I was a runner or worked out only in yoga studios. Gyms terrified me. I’ve been following PWR for 4 weeks now and love it. I couldn’t do 1 pushup on day 1 but can now do 10 in a row easily. I’m amazed and determined to stick with it. I’m very grateful for this app. Without it I would have never stepped foot in a gym! Edit: One year in and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. I can do pull-ups for the first time in my life and 20 push-ups no problem. I’m able to do deadlifts and hip thrusts (exercises that terrified me that I never thought I’d be able to do properly) with confidence. My physique has completely changed. I had no idea how much body fat I carried until I tried on old shorts (pre weight gain) in size small and they were loose in the waist. I didn’t even know that was possible but I’ve also never had this much muscle mass before. I’ve really toned up and feel great. Consistency is the key. Love this App.

Must have for any fitness level. My favorite part about the sweat app is that you can choose any workout you want. I suffer from migraines, and any amount of jumping and running can trigger it. The low impact workouts made a huge difference in helping me build up some sort of tolerance to the elevated body temperatures that I was able to start another program — the Kelsey Wells mindset program, which allowed for a lot of modifications if necessary and it literally changed my mindset, on not just exercising but my everyday life. After completing that I started another program, but I wasn’t really feeling it — getting excited for the next workout, etc. so I changed the program and now I’m able to focus on something I enjoy again. It has been so helpful in allowing me to stay consistent, whether I’ve got a ton of energy or not. It’s a game changer for anyone that’s looking for guidance in their everyday routine.

Post rehab game changer - love this app!!!. I had a massive knee surgery about a year ago (tibial osteotomy and ACL reconstruction). It’s been a long road to recovery and I was struggling to imagine heading back to the cross fit gym or really any gym. After physical therapy wound down I was left aimless and a little tentative about every movement. I did a little research one sat morning and downloaded the SWEAT app and haven’t looked back. I really enjoy the PWR track with Kelsey Wells - it feel a bit like being at cross fit but is faster paced and WAY more approachable since I hadn’t been able to lift in almost a year. I feel like my body is coming back to me and this app has given me the confidence to get back in the gym on a daily basis. I love the direction and pace. I would love it if you could look at the next activity during the “break” every time there is a break - even when I’m in a set I’d love to review the movement while waiting the 30 seconds. Otherwise, I think the whole thing is a huge success. Thanks for keeping it affordable and making my transition back into the gym a positive experience!!

Great for at home workouts!!. Okay wow, I started working out with this app during the free 30 day trial/challenge and let me tell you, it was a challenge. I didn’t realize how out of shape I was until this app, I go running frequently but I am not a member of any gym and considered myself somewhat in shape. I started with the Kayla Itsines BBG 1.0 and wow, the workouts are tailored for beginners but by the time I was done with a circuit it looked like I had just jumped in a pool I was sweating so much! This app is amazing and has so many different options of workouts to choose from, even meal planning options and a calendar to keep you in track!! It’s very easy to follow and now that the trial ended I am continuing to use this app (yes it costs money) but seriously it gives you a gym workout that you don’t have to leave your house for! but hey even if you go to a gym, it was workouts that include gym equipment!! I highly recommend this app to anyone wanted a jumpstart in your workout routine :) I’m eager to see the results, just have to stay consistent and determined!!

please stop taking features away. I’ve been using this app for years and loved it. But recently, it’s had SO many issues. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled so many times. It’s still so buggy. I get kicked out during workouts, it randomly pauses my music, the video showing the exercise disappears every single time I try to do recovery. Also, instead of adding features like the ability to schedule more than one LISS or HIIT per week, Sweat has decided to change the planner by taking away all of the helpful features. All of the workouts show up as one color, there’s no motivating sweat drop, the trophies at the end of the week don’t show you how much is left. You can’t preview next week’s workouts easily. It’s just not very user friendly anymore. The app has made an excellent effort to be more accessible to people who can’t do high impact exercises, but every time they do, the community freaks out like exercise should only be for the fit and able bodied people. The app used to work so well and have such a wonderful community. I’m not sure what has caused this change in the last year, but it’s bad enough that I’ve cancelled my subscription and moved to another program that feels more welcoming and inclusive.

Good workouts, but a few significant flaws. I really like the workouts and the structure of the app but I have a few significant critiques which mostly relate to how much the app relies on data usage. First, and most importantly, I wish you could download the workouts for the week to the app so you don’t have to rely on data or WiFi to have them load. My gym is in the basement of a big building and the WiFi is really spotty so sometimes I can’t get the workouts to load and I have to leave the building to load them then go back inside, and sometimes it doesn’t stick. I wish I could just download the ones I’m going to do so I didn’t have to worry about it. Second, I wish we could log a workout we’ve already done and select the date we did it. Since, again, I can’t get service in my gym, often my completed workouts don’t log immediately and if I forget to do it when I get home, my only option is to log it for whatever day I remember to log it. I wish I could backdate it so my log reflects when I actually did the workout.

Best workout app!!. I write reviews because when I purchase an app or something from a website the reason I attempt the purchase is because of the reviews. I am so inconsistent with my workouts, but having this app on my Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad is a plus! I have the app set to the face of my Apple Watch and bc it’s on my wrist it’s my constant reminder to do my workout. Also, even when I’m having an off day and can only do each circuit once, I still sweat...a lot. As long as you give it your all your going to break a sweat and feel good after. I love that the app on the watch and phone reminds me how many workouts I have left. I usually like doing my LISS workouts at the gym and my strength/HITT workouts at home. I also love that you get a whole menu with the app. A lot of other apps charge for the menu separately. Love love this app and would highly recommend it to others! Already got 3 other people to purchase the app and they love it. I’m sure their reviews will be seen on here next. Thank you!!

Apple Watch Compatibility. I just started using this app and I think it is pretty awesome so far. There are definitely some tweaks that can be made to the programming in regards to having to hit the arrow to move to the next exercise and having the leave your phone on and open the whole time for the information to be captured. But I was a little disappointed that the watch app and the phone app didn't communicate during the work out. It would be awesome if you could hit the next button on your watch and have your phone move to the next exercise too. Right now it seems that they operate independently which was confusing for me. I think I just need to track the workout in my apple activity app and only use my phone for BBG which is ok but not ideal. Also! If you could make the recipes importable to grocery apps like AnyList would be awesome. I now have to manually transfer the data. Which again is fine but not ideal. Thanks you for everything you’ve done!

I weigh less than I have in my entire adult life!. I love the convenience of this app: your music, meal plan, progress and workout are all in one place. No need for multiple apps. The instructions are clear and it's right there on your phone, so you don't have an excuse to miss a workout! I feel like I'm working out with an entire community without going to the gym, which is great (because I hate the gym). So the hardcore 28 minute circuit workouts go faster the more I do them. I've seen so much progress in my body- I can literally tell you that I look better at 26 than I did at 17. 5'6" now 125 lbs of muscle and it's great- my clothes finally fit like they are supposed to. I've never been this happy and I'm so grateful for the flexibility and consistency that this app provides towards that confidence <3 I will say though that I used this for two weeks and didn't understand that you needed to "swipe" to see the other types of workouts, and that you need to log your rest day. So, for the fact that it is not as user friendly as it could be, I give the app 4 stars.

It really works. I have been following Kayla in fb for a few years and keep seeing all of these woman really getting fit (in a real way no miracles). With the quarantine I decided to finally pay for it( I hate paying for apps) and it’s been a life changer. For real I have been going to the gym for the last 2 years trying to go at least 3 times per week. Really hard to do after work, studying, life in general... no results. Now I work out 6 times per week at home and I really look forward it (before it was so hard to bring myself to the gym). I also thing that being able to work it from home and the whole working from home situation has a lot to do with it, so if you are thinking about it best time ever to build a new habit. The app is easy to follow. You pick your program and it tells you what to do, when to do it and how to do it, including warm up and cool down (around 40-50 min total). This is been one of the biggest things for me since I had no idea of how to work out.

LOVE THIS APP, just experienced the first bug ever after years of use. I’ve been on this app since 2019 and cannot rave about it enough. The functionality is great, the trainers, the ability to customize your workout, make notes…everything is incredible. I just experienced the first bug ever and I’m just writing it here so the developers can see it. I’m doing Katie Martin’s Strength & Pilates week 10 upper body. It got stuck at the end of the warmup and no matter what I did it would not go past it. I obviously tried closing and relaunching the app, tried to “skip warmup” through the pause function and neither worked. For anyone looking for a referral, this app is amazing. Having the app and following the trainers on Instagram along with other community members is better than any gym can offer me. And I’ve been using this app 4x a week for almost 4 years and I just experienced the first bug. That’s a solid track record.

I love this app! Easy to find the perfect workout for me every day!. I’ve had this app for 2 years. The first year I tried to get into working out and just didn’t care about myself enough to commit and follow through for myself. I would start something and not stuck with it. Everything changed when I found the PWR program on here. I LOVE IT! I am 5 weeks in and haven’t missed any workouts. This week I’ve actually finished my workouts and it’s still midweek! That’s how much I love this app and the workouts, that even when I finish I can add more to the week, whatever I want! I think they have me for the next few years at least, until I know what I’m doing and can come up with the workouts by myself. But for now, I’m a newbie and I benefit a lot from all the suggestion they offer on how to lift weight or do a pose and when to breath and how to breath etc. love it! Also love that the workouts are timed. I don’t have to do anything but show up.

AMAZING RESULTS. I’ve literally never written a review of an app before. But this one is SO amazing that I just have to! I started using the Sweat App and specifically the PWR program. After 6 months of the program plus improving my diet I dropped 25 pounds and have noticed significant improvement in the tone of my muscles. People ask me all the time what I’ve been doing! The best part is, the workouts are FUN and I actually look forward to them! With most workout routines I usually get bored after about a month and give up, this is the first one I have ever been able to keep up with for almost a year now! I am always sore after every single workout which means I am constantly training new and different muscles, and my body never “gets used to” these workouts and they are always a challenge! I love this app and I never plan to stop using it. Highly recommend to anyone especially if you are stuck in a rut and finding it difficult to find motivation to work out! I was in the same boat and this app changed my life.

The perfect workout app. Life long athlete, bachelor’s in exercise science, consistently in the gym for 14 years and this is the first workout app I’ve ever enjoyed! The meal planning is also exceptional! Who doesn’t get burnt out on their own workouts and meals, right? Regardless of if you’re a beginner or advanced this app has a program for you to either get started or change up your routine and challenge yourself. I created my own program and followed it for 5 years and although I had great results, I was very burned out on my own workouts. But this app changed that by taking ALL the thought and planning out for me. The workouts are challenging enough that I don’t feel like I’m losing my own progress from before and it’s exciting not knowing what’s coming next. The sweat community is such a wonderful and encouraging group especially if you follow a lot of them on Instagram. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this app! Post Partum, beginners, burnt out athletes, HIIT lovers, you know name it - it has it. You need this app!

Kudos for getting women comfortable with the gym!. I would give the exercise portion of this app 5 stars. The interface is beautiful and easy to use. Sometimes the workouts are hard to follow if you don’t have everything at your gym or the machines you need to use for supersets are not near each other. It’s helpful to do a lap of your gym to ID where all the equipment you need is. I’d like to use the meal planning more but it’s probably the part of app where I’m most critical. The meals and snacks are different for every day of the week and are only scaled for one person. It would be helpful to choose how many servings you plan to make and the recipe would scale up or down. I also wish that the weekly meal plan took leftovers into account it’s really hard for working women to make everything. I also wish you could access your saved recipes. It would be nice to make a weekly meal plan the same way you can make a weekly workout plan in the app. Also, I wish there was some literature to read within the app to learn the nutrition principles the SWEAT team abides by.

This AppIs the All Time Worst. I cancelled this app a year ago, and by cancelled I do not mean deleted off my phone, I know better than that. I actually went into the app, clicked on my profile picture, scrolled to the bottom, clicked “cancel account”, then a screen popped up that said “we will miss you” and asked why I am leaving, I then clicked “too expensive” then a screen popped up with a huge check mark and huge writing that says in all caps ACCOUNT CANCELED ✅. Kayla, for your information, when you have a screen that pops up and confirms the account has been canceled, that means it has been canceled. So now I am review the process and see that in small writing below the confirmation message there is another message that completely contradicts the confirmation saying that although it says “account cancelled” it is not cancelled, actually nothing has changed, to actually cancel your account you need to do it in the “manage your subscription” area in setting. So basically this was just a decoy? To get people to think they canceled their accounts? They have charged me over $200 since my first time I canceled this app and received a confirmation message that the app was canceled. This is far from legal.

Absolutely Amazing. Such an amazing app no matter your fitness level or preferred workout style. There is no other app out that that provides workouts by women for women like this, I would recommend sweat to any individual getting into exercise or even anyone looking to diversify their workout routines. The recent updates with added exercise substitutions (in case you want to substitute an exercise that’s low impact or if you simply need to use a different piece of equipment) and logs to track how many reps you do at a particular weight have been great additions to the app. I now only wish there was a way to switch the order of the circuits in the app in case the piece of equipment you need is being used. Overall, quite a wonderful collection of trainers with programs for anyone. A wonderful community of supportive women all looking to not use fitness as a means of self punishment, but instead a lifestyle to instill self empowerment.

I love Sweat!. I love the Sweat app so much! It’s so convenient and it shows you how to do the exercises as you’re going along to ensure proper form. I do believe working out is about finding a regime that works for you. If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, then you’re not going to continue, and luckily this app has a bit of everything. When I started bbg, I borrowed the book from a friend, and I was seeing such significant changes that I knew it was something I wanted to continue doing. The app had a promotion for $1 sign up for the first three months and I jumped on it. It’s really helped me to develop a routine, feel better about myself, and most importantly gain strength. Yes, I’ve lost some fat, and that’s always a plus, but I’ve really come to love discovering that I can get in more reps of pushups than I did the week before or that I don’t tire as quickly. The feeling of accomplishment in every aspect other than just looks alone has been the number one sell point for me.

Love this program! Actually seeing results.. So I started doing BBG with my sister because we’ve been wanting to get in shape. To be honest, we have never been really heavy set, and looked fine in clothes, but we never were really “fit.” We were really looking for something that would work with our busy schedules, but still challenged us..yet being realistic (felt like we wanted a purpose unicorn or something). After trying out those insane workouts like P90X or Insanity, we realized that was just not sustainable. With BBG, we feel like we are able to conduct our normal lives while feeling good about working out. Also following the program week to week has been incredible! BBG Beginner was tough. I’m not going to lie. But with each week, I could feel myself getting stronger and it slowly progressed in difficulty but still was achievable. I’m officially on Week 6, and I truly feel like a difference has been made. I would definitely recommend it...and I have!

The best of the best!!!. This truly is life changing!!!! This app is perfection! The workouts are amazing, the structure and features of the app are intuitive & easy to use, the community is awesome and the best part.... the program works!!!! If you stick with it you will be in the best shape of your life! What also makes this app/program special is Kayla, Kelsey & the customer service. Kayla & Kelsey are brilliant trainers who are enjoying much success and still staying humble. I follow their Instagram and you can see how genuine they are. This personal touch makes this app extraordinary. In addition, the customer service is incredible. They are super quick to respond, knowledgeable, not judgmental in any way (you can ask anything related to the program, progress, etc and get supportive answers) and definitely the best in the business. The cost of the subscription is minimal compared to the life you will get out of it. You cannot put a price on health, self-esteem and self- confidence It’s priceless and so is this app!

Awesome app. Always room for updates!. I love how sweat continues to update and improve. The ability to switch workouts before you start your workout is amazing and I love the options it gives. However, I wish it would let you do that while you’re doing the workout though. Sometimes my gym is extremely busy so it would be awesome to have that ability to move things or change the routine to fit what I have available at that very moment. Update July ‘21: They have since updated to the app to be able to substitute during exercises and have given a pause in between the cool down stretches. Which I love!! My next thing I wish they would update is the calendar function. I’ve been trying to use it more but it seems a little clunky and hard to use. The planning feature doesn’t work that well and if you change weeks on your program it doesn’t save your progress like it tells you it will. Which is a little annoying.

Love the app. Don’t really write reviews but I am doing it right now so that whoever out there is trying to pay money to instructors as a beginner trust me it’s a huge waste of money and your time . This app has taught me how to be consistent with my workout. I have went on and off but have keep the subscription for the past 2 years and holy cow ! I finished a lot of BBG programs but wasn’t really consistent . In the past 3 months that has changed. It’s just in your phone and all you need is the right mindset. I started off with Pilates and continued that for 1 entire month - all workouts ! I have never done that before and actually looked forward to working out. The playlists just set the mood right . I selected the yoga by P playlist and with Pilates it felt like a meditation but actually burning calories 😂 I wasn’t sure it’s gonna make me lose any weight because Pilates is fundamentally for core strength . After a month my friends started to compliment by body and I actually was surprised, it’s working ? The consistency is working ! Now I have moved on to FIERCE program because I am quite familiar with weights but just lacked that mindset ! Now I workout 6 days a week(and I miss Pilates so I do it on slow cardio days ) without it hanging over my head like something I am punished for but for something I look forward to doing every morning/evenings . Get this app! Cannot recommend enough!

Can't live without SWEAT!. I’ve been using this app since April 2017 and have had unparalleled results. It’s so much more than just a fitness app—it’s a holistic guide and worldwide community for transforming your body through fitness. In addition to flexible training sessions (3 resistance sessions and 3-4 cardio workouts a week), you also have access to BBG Stronger, PWR, FIERCE, BUILD, and BAM (Body and Mind). The Sweat developers are constantly working to improve the functionality of the app based on user feedback. The March 2020 update made all of these programs home workout-friendly. Because food is key to success, the Sweat app has meal plans for an entire spectrum of dietary preferences, including vegan, pescatarian, and several vegetarian iterations. During the first six months, I lost 15 lbs and have continued to transform completely transformed my body composition. We’re talking NOTICEABLE RESULTS! Just like any fitness routine, what you get out of it is a direct product of what you put in each and every day. It is worth EVERY PENNY.

Good program... could use improvements. Overall I enjoy the power (aka PWR) program. Previously I did BKB. For both programs, I like the variety. This keeps it interesting and easy to stick to the program. The descriptions on how to properly lift are very clear. I feel stronger after switching for the PWR program and look forward to seeing results down the road. Areas for improvement: I like to have efficient and quick workouts which is why I am disappointed I am not able to preview the entire workout ‘during’ the workout. When there is a 30sec rest, that would be a great time for me to preview what’s upcoming. Also, I wish there was a way to store weight data i.e. how many pounds I lifted for a given exercise. This will help me ensure I’m either matching or building up from previous weeks. Otherwise I have to keep a separate journal. Bugs: When I restarted superset 2, it took me through 1 lap of superset 2. Then on the second lap it took me back to the superset 1 workouts.

Needs little details improved. I’m enjoying the workout program overall - I’ve been following PWR for 12 weeks or so and the workouts are fun and easy to incorporate into my lifestyle. Feels like I hit the major muscle groups every week and the supersets and circuits make the workouts extra challenging. My major complaint is that certain parts of the app behave unpredictably. What drives me INSANE is during supersets you use the next arrow to say you completed the exercise and after each two exercises the app times out a 30 second rest period and *sometimes* it tells me when the 30 second rest is over and sometimes it doesn’t. Even during the same workout it’s like a 50/50 chance it will tell me the rest period is over. This is frustrating when you’re working hard and want to count on the app to alert you it’s time to get moving again. Other than that bug and some of the UI challenges I encountered when I first began using the app, I really enjoy it. The app works well enough overall and the program is easy to follow and encouraging. I’d recommend this app and the program to a friend.

Really great, but let’s see more!!. This is a really great fitness app! The calendar section really motivates me to get things done and helps me plan out my week. I love sifting through the community content and reading what people have to say about their journeys and other news. The workouts are a lot of fun and I like how they grow with you. One really cool thing I’d love to see, though, is an evolution of the food tab. I think the meal section is great, with recipes and pictures and prep time, but I hate how I’m assigned to eat certain things! I don’t always have avocados or other ingredients in and I usually don’t have time to follow complex recipes. I’d love to be able to pick my own meals from a list and to plan my own food week. There are great looking recipes on this app, but they often get lost if I don’t make them on the day they’re assigned. Maybe we could see all recipes in one place? Maybe we could choose our food for the week? Overall, great app! But let’s step it up so we can step it up!!! :)

Awesome app, minor kinks. I used the free trial for the app and am planning to purchase a real subscription soon. It’s a really great and well-developed app, it contains almost anything you could want if you’re a self-starter for any diet and fitness changes. There are plentiful options when it comes to your daily fitness activity and includes great references for eating better. My only complaint thus far is that during a workout if you click on the exercise you’re supposed to be doing an informational pop-up screen will slide up that goes into more detail on how to execute the specific activity. However, I was unable to close the screen once it popped out. There’s a small button on the top left of the pop-up screen that says close, but for me it only said “C” and it wouldn’t recognize that I was clicking it to close out the screen and continue on with my workout. I would have to close the entire app and start all over which really messed things up time-wise. I’m assuming it’s a minor technical glitch, I just wanted to warn others.

Only one program at a time …. Big plus: There are so many trainers and programs in this app which is part of the reason I chose it. Of the workouts I’ve tried the trainers are very good. Though the way workouts are structured can sometimes get boring. For example, some programs only use gifs with a single trainer instruction at the start of each move. I especially love the barre program with Britany because she tucks in little quips and encouragements that make it feel like you’re really in class with her. Big minus: You can only follow one program at a time. So if you choose the barre program, that’s your program unless you quit it to access another. Someone who likes to diversify — a few days a week of strength program and a few days of barre program, for example — just can’t in this app. The on demand feature offers individual workouts so in a way you can mix it up, but there’s no guidance in those. There’s so much stuff going on in this app allowing an option for multiple programs doesn’t seem like a stretch.

Best workout plan for me!. This is my second time around with pwr by Kelsey Wells and I not only feel stronger and more comfortable in my skin but others have complimented me on looking healthy. The app does a great job of demonstrating all workouts which is what I really wanted. I needed a challenge but also something that didn’t deter me from wanting to go back to the gym the next day. I didn’t realize how important every aspect to lifting/HIIT/cardio/stretching was until Kelsey broke it down. The only thing I would recommend is to journal during the experience, keep track of progress, whether it’s eating habits, sleep habits, especially weights- regarding how much weight can be handled to be able to do the workouts with best form, etc. I wish I would have done that to look back at my progress in that aspect. I appreciate having this tool to push me and guide me. It’s helped in more ways then I ever thought I needed! Thanks sweat team! And I look forward to continuing this process as it’s become a routine in my household!

Amazing fitness app…when it works. I LOVE working out with Sweat. The variety of trainers and workouts is fantastic. I love that I can pick between strength, cardio, yoga, Pilates, at-home, in the gym, short workouts, long workouts, stretching combinations — whatever I’m in the mood for. I love that all the trainers aren’t just itty bitty white girls. I’ve never enjoyed a workout app more, and I really wish I could give it 5 stars, BUT it has one giant issue I can’t get past. At least once a week, I can’t access the app during my workout time. When I try to open the app, it gets stuck on the intro/logo screen and then crashes. I once tried for 5 minutes to open the app and it never worked. It also seems like the frequency of this issue has increased since I’ve been using the app for the past 1.5 years. With my demanding job, I’m always crunched for time, so it’s incredibly frustrating when I give myself the time to workout and the app won’t work. I will continue to use and recommend the app to everyone I know, but it feels like a rip off when I’m paying for a service that I can’t use on certain days.

Amazing!. I have loved this app! Been doing Kelsey’s power program. Love the break down of lifting she has laid out! Love that you can easily see how to properly do each exercise so you can be confident in the gym. And they are challenging! I’ve been lifting for some time so I started with pwr 3 and it’s been sooo good! Don’t love the nutrition part. Not near enough protein in the meal plan so I don’t use that. But workouts alone are worth it. Only thing I wish was different was maybe timer just in corner of main workout page for each muscle group you’re doing for the day. I find myself not using the actual “start” button and just time myself accordingly to each exercise because I like to see what I’m doing next in case a machine is being used. I work out in a large but very busy gym and sometimes what I need isn’t available right away and I like to keep moving as to keep my heart rate up. So I just do my workout on the main page and scroll through. Works for me. Love love love tho!!!!

Kelsey Wells redefine fitness is EVERYTHING. I’m a longtime user of this app. I’ve done programs from Chontel and Kayla and Kelsey for years. I LOVE them all so much. This app has helped my mental and physical health more than anything. I can workout at home with my kids crawling over me and it’s DOABLE. However— I just recently started Kelsey Wells redefine fitness program and OH MY GOSH. Life-changing is usually a big exaggeration, but not in the case of this program. I had my 3rd baby a year ago and my body was so tired and weak. I was frustrated and not motivated to exercise. This program makes me cry (happy tears) while sweating and burning EVERY workout. It is beautiful. Exceptional. It is so empowering and uplifting and motivational. I cannot even put it into words how emotionally and physically helpful this program is. It TRULY brings you back to the whole reason for exercise- to celebrate and LOVE yourself, your body and your intrinsic worth and power. If you’re struggling with motivation or body image or negative thoughts DO THIS PROGRAM.

The Difference. What makes this app so much better than others is that the trainers are real people and we can connect with them. My trainer has been so great and actually responds when I reach out. When I get lazy I think of how my sessions are tracked in the planner and how I don’t want to see those missing workouts. That keeps me motivated to get up and work out. Not just that...but every trainer has something different to offer. I started with one trainer, who was great, but I switched because I realized I prefer doing more weight lifting. Having the option to switch around to meet our preferences is what made me keep the Sweat app. Lastly, having the opportunity to join a challenge on the app also motivated me. I’ve been wanting to join a challenge but the idea of going to an outdoor gym at 5am or 7pm during a pandemic was not appealing. Being able to join a challenge from home at the time of day that works best for me was a plus! I love it! Thank you!

Great, but needs to interface better. Cannot express how much I love the app and the workouts themselves. Love the programs and the scheduling it out so I don’t even have to think about what I’m doing that day, and love ability to substitute! The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it does NOT interface well with Apple Watch at all. It’ll log the workout after it’s completed in Apple, but the watch won’t be able to provide any stats on heart rate or calories burned during the workout. It also doesn’t seem to count steps completely accurately, which could be fixed via better interfacing with Apple. One other nitpicky thing is I wish you could go back and look at recipes you made the week prior, or save recipes for easy referral rather than just starring them and then not being able to find them again until they’re in the menu again. Other than that, content and functionality within the app are incredible!

User friendly!. I have loved using this app. It’s like I have a trainer right here at the gym with me telling me every little thing I need to do but for way less cost! Here are some of the things I enjoy about the app: I love that it counts down the time for me in between reps. I think it’s amazing that it has a daily meal and snack calendar laid out for you to use if you’d like with recipe and ingredients for each included in the price of the app! The fact that it offers so many types of workouts-in gym, at home, post partum-it keeps me from having the excuse of “I can’t workout today bc I can’t make it to the gym”. I literally have soooo many options that even if I can’t stick to my typical weekly workout program I can find a quick home workout to do. This is my 4th week consecutive using it and I don’t see any end in sight. They make it so easy to continue to find a workout for every day and every circumstance. Thank you ladies for creating such a fantastic resource and tool! It’s been empowering, and I needed some more empowerment!

Terrific app!. I love this training app. Multiple programs to choose from, workouts from home or the gym, equipment or body weight, beginner weeks, etc. There is so much to love about it. The scheduling of workouts, or maybe I should say moving around workouts, can be difficult and the price is higher that some gym memberships but it’s a great app with a lot to offer. I wish it was a bit less expensive (I know you can pay for a year upfront and it comes out cheaper but still, a less expensive monthly option would be nice also) and the food plan is also a bit limited. A lot do the recipes can seem hard to do with more expensive ingredients or more work needed to make them. I enjoy cooking so I don’t mind but many times we are challenged with our schedules and our budgets so it can be hard to follow that meal plan. Even with the few things I’ve mentioned here the app is fantastic and you can really get results. I see reviews saying the target audience is 16-25 yrs old and I am way over that (I am 44 yrs old) and I find it to be very usable.

Only 1 Problem..... First may I say, I love this app. It’s easy to use, it has a beautiful interface, and I just plain like it. I have never worked out regularly in my entire life, and this app has been a wonderful stepping stone to starting me on that journey (it’s been 2 months now). My BIGGEST (and really only) issue, and the reason I cannot give it 5 stars, is the food. The recipes are delicious and easy, however, you cannot tailor it to your diet well. I have very bad GERD which means I cannot eat high acid foods, and tomatoes, onions, and capsicum are centerpiece ingredients in many of the dishes. In most cases it works to just not include them but for bruschetta toast....that’s not really an option. There are options for “preferential” diets (vegan, vegetarian, etc) but none for food allergies and intolerances. What if you aren’t a lacto-vegetarian, but you ARE lactose intolerant? What if you have a devastating allergy to a common ingredient? Due to my GERD, I can’t eat about 1/3 of the recipes and I’d just prefer if other options showed up on my feed. And what about people who eat kosher or halal? More tweaks to the food options, and it’s a 5 star app for me.

Love the app, although I hate the the cost. I hate paying for exercises. I had stopped using the app after a couple months of consistent use. I tried a different platform. But a year and half later, here I am back to the app. I debated about whether to try another platform like peloton or Apple fitness. But the sweat app is so clean, easy to use. Sometimes some of the workouts do feel repetitive but I do see results from them. Sometimes I would like more variation in the shoulder work outs for example. I know I can substitute moves but that takes more thought and time. There are however lots of options in the app. I like they often add new programs and trainers. Would like to see some more diversity in mixed ethnicities and East Asian representation, as well as varying body types. Also work outs for those other body types or fitness levels. I recommend the app to friends but they can see women don’t look like them and decide to not try it. The planner is clutch in being pretty motivating to get workouts checked off.

Great exercises, app needs improvement. Happy to be back on track with exercising and feeling better. The Sweat App has helped me tremendously with a workout plan, but I think it’s a little tough for people who have no background in working out. The app should provide alternatives to specific moves in case it’s too hard for folks to do. Additionally, the app doesn’t allow me to add a workout a day later in case I forget to add it the same day. Also, comments on threads are published in the order “first to last” meaning if a thread has thousands of comments, good luck seeing the last one, or even yours. Even if I receive a notification that someone responded to my comment, clicking on the notification will only send me to the thread and not my comment. So that’s useless. Finally, I cannot view last week’s exercises and my progress, which sort of defeats the point of having a calendar that allows you to go back a week. There are a lot of issues with the app that should be fixed, and I’m sure I’ll probably find more. I’ve only been using the app religiously for less than a week. Aside from the superficial app issues, the exercises are good and they do their job.

Working Mom and I can’t wait to workout everyday!!. I have always struggled with workout motivation but live a generally healthy lifestyle due to my Ulcerative Colitis. I have tried all the Beachbody plans from Insanity, Piyo, P90X, even Shawns Hip Hop Abs program that appears to look like its straight out of the 80s. Had great results sticking with the programs but gets very repetitive and causes boredom; i started to stop before the workouts were over due to length! After 3 weeks in this app, the easy to follow program, how -to demonstrations, and timed circuits make me feel like I am achieving small goals throughout the workout and keeps me motivated and excited to push myself! Love the quick workouts I can push out in 15 min on a busy day. Can’t wait to see my results in a year!!! Plus the app has awesome additional perks for meal planing and grocery lists! As a very busy working mom this app is well worth the money and keeps me motivated even after a long day and spending quality time with my kiddo. BBG Moms shout out!!! Buy it, you won’t be sorry!!!

Love it!. Well I finally follow my training sessions religiously and enjoy it without struggling making my own high intensity exercises which was boring and lacking motivation to do new things. I have been doing sweat for 10 months, finished like 8 months with Kayla and then switched to chontell and Man I love them both and I feel huge difference in my body shape and stamina🙌🏻 And just to clarify that through this 8 months I had a knee surgery, severe pain and weakness from my herniated cervical disc which I am getting a spinal surgery for in few weeks. Despite that I never stop! 💪🏼💪🏼 I keep myself motivated through sweat app and I can easily adjust some exercises according to my injuries without taking the fun out of it 🙌🏻. Thank you sweat family for this great programs that can invite any fitness seeking people who will definitely get stuck with it and enjoy it and pass it to their family and friends like I did 🙌🏻😄 I am Always looking forward for the new exercises every Monday 😅💕

So far, so good.. I started this app with only two weeks of personal training under my belt and a gym membership. I quit the personal training since starting this (finances) and am happy to have it because I need something to hold me accountable. I appreciate the modified exercises available on some of them, however disappointed that Commando and Mountain Climbers with Push Up have no alternatives. I'm modifying my push-ups AND on beginner setting. I can't do a full push up normally so I'm not sure why these exercises are apart of my circuit with no alternative. I would like an option to customize a little more based off what I can do. Thankfully with my experience of fitness I know what I can do alternatively but for someone who may not know, this could be very discouraging, feeling as if they should be able to do this exercise when they can't. I love the free recipes SO much. I wish they included the nutritional information but maybe it's a good thing they don't because some could obsess over the wrong things (low carb, low protein, etc).

Perfect when short on time.. Been using this app and I’d have to say it’s perfect for on-the-go people, people with kids, always busy and barley any time people. When I say this it’s cause I’m one of these people. I use to say I had no time to workout, can’t go to the gym or didn’t have the right equipment to workout. Just always full of excuses. Well this app basically proves that my excuses were just full of excuses. This full time employee working from home with 2 kids doing virtual school right now is able to do it. With little space and little time in between I work out after work or while the kids are keeping busy, sometimes when they go to bed and most of the time it’s in a small space thats the cleanest part of the house 🤦🏻‍♀️. Either way it works. And I’m saying if I can do it so can you. The best part is I’m seeing results without changing my diet. That will come next. I need to do better in eating healthy. But overall I’m very happy with this app and oh I’m using the bbg zero equipment one by Kayla itsine.

Whyyy did I wait so long to get this?. I am LOVING this app. I discovered Kayla’s BBG way back in the day when you purchased her 12wk BBG via email as an eBook 😄 even then, without all the massive perks you get with this app, I loved her simple layout and the short duration of her exercise circuits (7mins x4). The app has a lot to offer, the best part is you really get the experience of having a personal trainer right in front of you. I used it for the first time yesterday and I came back from the gym so happy because the exercise circuits had such a variety of really really good moves for the exact right duration. I like that badges are built in too! I do wish we had the ability to manually input the duration/distance of our LISS sessions. I track my walks on my Garmin and don’t want to have Sweat running during these walks. Wish I could sync with the Connect app so all my step data would too. I don’t always walk around with my phone so the steps in Health app aren’t accurate.

Not worth it. I don’t usually write reviews for anything, but I’ve been using this app for over 6 months and I feel like others could benefit from what I have to say. I loved this app. Honestly didn’t dare to go to the gym without it. Somehow it was really addicting. Every time I cancelled it, I just ended up going back to it. But the huge downside is that it’s $20/month. I already pay $35/month to go to the gym. I should not be paying $20 more... It’s not worth it, in my eyes. Especially for how repetitious the exercises/workouts are (specifically BBG). For example, for 4 weeks in a row, I’ve been doing the same arms and abs exercises circuits and I am seeing 0 improvement because of it. Who wants to be doing the same workouts over and over again? It’s not exciting and or motivating enough. It needs variety. You will see so much more improvement and gain more confidence in yourself if you are constantly trying new things. And Kayla, it’s not doing it for me. I love the idea of the fast paced circuits and incorporating cardio in with strength training. It’s a great way to lose weight. But if you want to see REAL results, I suggest paying half the price for another app. I’ve already switched and I am SO much happier.

Honest Review. I found Kayla Itsines on Instagram in 2015. She inspired me to get a gym membership and lose some weight. I downloaded this app when it was still just Sweat With Kayla in 2016, and the only program was BBG 1 & 2. But i still used that program to lose FIFTY pounds. I quit the app when I quit my gym while my life was too busy and financially demanding so i cut that out for awhile. Fast forward to a few months ago, when I’ve been seeing the apps growth over the last three years. I was a diligent follower of Kelsey Wells, Steph Sanzo, and Sjana Elise all before any of them were teamed up with the app! I’m so excited to follow Chontel Duncan and learn more about her as well. Every one of these ladies has a different niche, but I believe every girls who uses this app should use each program at least once. I warmed back into it by following Kayla Itsines, and now Im starting into Kelsey Wells PWR! The meal plans are amazing, I have proven results from this program in its baby stages, and I’ve already lost another ten pounds in three months of using it again. I LOVE this app.
