No support. I’m getting group messages for a baseball team. My kid isn’t on a baseball team. He’s on a soccer team. I’d report this issue, but, well, they closed the “report issue” form and nothing can be submitted. So, the app is getting deleted and the “developers” are getting this one-star review. They can’t even keep profiles and messaging straight, and won’t let the users report problems. Don’t bother with this app. Unless, of course, you like having those things happen to you, in which case you should absolutely download this app…. But no one in their right mind wants these issues. The developers, on the other hand, don’t seem to mind. Nice job, y’all. Great work. Solid development.

Seems buggy and/or lacking/incomplete.. It’s as if this app was quickly thrown together and rushed out the door to meet a deadline or something. Doesn’t seem too polished for the time it’s been available. They say to upload photos through “my team/photos” but the only thing that happens is the camera pops up. I can’t upload an existing photo. I can only select photos when posting a message and attaching. All this and they supposedly updated the app 4 days ago with bug fixes. I used a real camera so to make it easier I spent time uploading a bunch of photos on the desktop website and none of it carries over to the app. It’s cumbersome, aggravating and not very user friendly. I also notice that the app accessed my camera regardless of my access settings not giving the app permission to access the camera!

Not updating. For the last five days the app has not been updating attendance or properly sending messages and emails. The schedule seems to be accurate, but some of the main functions needed for team communication are lacking. Hopefully this issue gets resolved because right now every time I open the app, it asks to update attendance for the same events; it’s not recording anything so I can’t tell which players are coming, and it doesn’t show that I’m coming.

Too many ads?. This app has got way worse. Worse to the point that it is basically useless to us. Lots of complaints from our teams parents that are the same as mine. The schedule will no longer load to my phone’s calendar even though I am “subscribed to it”. It still shows previous seasons teams even though I’ve removed those. All I get on the “Home” page is a blank screen. I could go on and on. I’ve deleted and (re)added the app several times but still have the same problems. Speculation has been made that there are so many ads now that those are somehow taking away from the memory needed to run the app.

Invites / Set up - TOTAL PAIN.. Can’t add teams without deleting the app and restoring it on phone again. Inviting families to a team who already have the app and an account created (even if for another child or team), they have to be sure to use the same login (even though they may not even realize they are using an app / login they already have for a different team). If they try to create a new account they end up stuck and having to figure out with the team creator whatever their particular problem is that prevents them from seeing the new team. Is it because they need to delete the app and restore it? Is it because they used a different email address last time? Is it because the father holds the account and the mother was not entered as the primary account holder? Etc. etc. It’s ridiculously difficult to set up a new team and easily invite the parents and players to join. The trouble in getting everyone set up is not worth using this app.

Needs to have some glitches worked out. I’m a soccer coach for different teams one league likes this app. On game days it seams to have a lot of problems. It will not let me message team parents and will give me the blank screen that says over and over looking for team and updating information. The app can not possibly be doing this 2 times a week. Other apps have worked better for me but my one league likes this one. I do have an RX iPhone so it’s not my phone I have the newest Apple phone out. Wish the app would work better it makes it hard to talk to my team parents.

Inconsistent. I have been forced to use this app by our soccer league for 4 years. Many people have complained about the design of the app to our league but it’s functionality has not been an issue until this fall 2019 season. The app constantly crashes and often needs to be deleted and reinstalled to update any team information. If not rosters will change and schedules will change but not appear in the app. As of now it is crashing nearly every use and the magic link doesn’t work. Most people are forced to use this app it is not something you download because you want it. If your shopping for a scheduling and communication app for your team/league ship around you could do better.

Room for improvement for Admins. I use SI Play to manage multiple teams and leagues within our organization. Parents have mastered the app for updates and scores but i can’t seem to do anything within it. The website is great once you get a hang of it but there needs to be a more straightforward layout for admin accounts on the app. I can’t access any of the same options the website has and there is little to no ease of user friendliness. The website was overwhelming at first but I got the hang of it and maybe the app is the same but there can always be improvements or MAYBE A SEPARATE APP FOR ADMINS?! Hope this helps!

Clunky, inefficient, time-consuming. I have never written a negative review of any app, ever. But this one deserves one. If you want to spend 10 times longer keeping track of your kids' schedules, and sorting through extraneous team stuff, then this is the app for you. If you are looking for a straightforward, easy to use system to make sure you don't miss a practice or game, stay away from this. League athletics was much more simple. When it merged with SI Play, it became so clogged with fancy flashy features, it is no longer useful. Not only is it not useful, it eats up my already precious time. Maybe a parent of an only child would like spending time perusing the pictures and messages and lists of who is bringing snack this week (not even kidding - it has this) but for a busy parent with 6 athletes to keep track of, this app is just awful.

Won’t protect user privacy and full of bugs. I have been forced to use this app because the leagues in which my children play use this app. It is always buggy and very hard at the beginning of the season to make sure you have the right team for your kid. More importantly, it doesn’t allow you to protect your information. I added some contact information to the app years ago and when I had issues of harassment more recently, I tried to remove my information from the app. I was unable to do so, and I contacted the company. Although someone did reply to me, they did not fix the problem. They told me it was fixed, but when I replied that my information was still there, they said they’d look more into it and went silent as my contact information sat there for all to see.

Just a point of view. This app is an amazing way for the coaches and parents to contact each other while being a convient access for the network as well. The app is simple to navigate and has the simple capabillities to keep it sustainable. Considering that the app could improve in a few areas but would only add convenience to the users. The two features that could improve this app are quick reply inserts for the team chat areas as well as auto generations for the team drafts and scheduling. This review is intended as a point of view from a user.

Review. This app is awesome. As being a coach it’s something for the parents and players themselves to view for upcoming games and practices and other things besides general word of mouth. The fact that there is a team chat that is used for quick updates like a game delay, day change or just regular messages to the entire team and families. The attendance part is also great on knowing ahead of time who will and who might not be able to make the practice or game . You can link it to your own calendar on your phone therefore you can see it all immediately right in front of you. Click on the day for specific info. I highly recommended using it.

Don’t waste your time. If I could give this zero stars I would, because it is completely useless. By “completely useless” I mean, “does not function in any capacity at all.” Zero functionality. Constant crashes, no way to access the messaging feature without crashing, if you were a member of a team one season, then another one in a different season it will not connect to the new team. Useless. Uninstalled and reinstalled thinking it was a bug. Now it won’t log in, it won’t allow a password reset, it won’t open. I cannot believe this has almost five stars average with so many users. It’s an embarrassment.

Subscribed calendar doesn’t update changes. I’ve only used it for 2 weeks. Everything is fine except for one issue. I have too many calendars and I need them all to sync to my iPhone calendar. It was great to find out I could subscribe to my sons team and not have to manually add them. The issue is the team has canceled a practice and also updated the start time of another. Neither of those updates have passed to my calendar. What’s worse is because it is a subscribed calendar it won’t let me make edits in my own calendar to correct it. I really need everything in one place. Fix this issue and I’ll give more stars.

Terrible App. Extremely difficult to navigate especially if you have more than one child. Last night I received a notification that my oldest child has been assigned to a new team. All I can view are the text messages. It stills shows my son assigned to last years team. His current team name doesn’t show up under the “teams” tab so I’m not able to view the roster. I received another notice this morning that my youngest has been assigned to a team. Again his team into isn’t listed under the “teams” tab. It’s a terrible app along with a terrible website. I have to back out of the website to switch back and forth between my kids teams. Fortunately, I’m coaching my middle son’s team, so I know all the team information.

Could be great. Love using this app to view schedules and communicate with parents. However, uploading photos when the photos are not on your phone is a pain. There needs to be a desktop version that helps with this for those that want to share photos taken with SLRs. I looked online and couldn’t find anything on their site. I logged on and it has me registered for a completely different league online too and I have no clue how to change it. The mobile and online need to sync up.

POPUP BUG, DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!. This app has a MAJOR BUG!!! It causes a pop up that appears on your screen at random that you have to cancel out of to use your phone. Sometimes it pops up every few seconds but others it may be days before you see it again. Yesterday was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! It popped up every 30 seconds or so and I couldn't do anything on my phone. The popup has a "details" and "cancel" tab. Clicked the "details" tab and it says its from THIS APP!!! Web reasearch says no one has had luck making it stop!! I tried turning off all notification and every toggle the app has, even deleting the app completely. NOTHING WORKS!! I tried to use the help center to report it and see if there is a fix but it says they aren't taking any messages. I can see why!! Unless you like tapping the tab "cancel" every other word you type, JUST DO NOT DOWNLOAD, PERIOD!! And YES, it took forever to type this review but its worth it to save other ppl the hassle AND get the app developer's attention since I can't report it!!

More work than it’s worth!. As an individual that designs apps as well as functional design this app is completely off base! It’s difficult to use and is hard to interpret. First off the ability to initially login is an utter lesson in futility! Then after finally logging in the app seems to work great for a few day until it simply stops. I ended up having to delete the app only to reinstall and try to log in again. When trying to log in a second time I received an error message indicating that my login information was not recognized. I finally after several hours of trying to login wrote the admin an email asking for them to reset my account so that I might be able to log back in.... that was three days ago! Good luck to anyone that is trying to use this app.

Too many glitches happen. I’ve been using this app, due to out soccer club schedule, for my kids, and it’s alright. I’ve experienced many glitches over the time frame of 3 years and it happens at times where I need to view it most (at events where WiFi is not typically available) and it states it’s not connecting even if my data should be sorting it out. Decent overall for schedules and team communication - but I’m sure all apps similar to this experience the same issues.

No Technicial Support for bugs. This app is terrible. Has serious bugs and no support. I do not recommend. I coach 2 lacrosse teams. I have used the SI Play app the past couple of seasons to communicate with my teams and was pleased with it. I had to update to the new SportsSignup Play (SSU) app this season. When I login to the app it takes me directly to my teams. I can navigate the schedule, roster, etc. however the app shows me as not being active. I’m clearly logged in and listed as the coach. However the SSU app doesn’t recognize me or let me use any of the communication tools. I submitted multiple request through the app for assistance and the only response I get is to “contact my league administrator.” I’ve contacted my league administrator. The league cannot help because I am clearly listed as the coach in the app for both teams. There is obviously a bug in the app. I have also emailed and called the SSU help line and left a message but have not received any support.

The worst.. This is the least user friendly app I’ve ever encountered for sports. It shows basketball games my son participated in from years ago, and no way to delete the feed. Our football team insists upon using the app or else I wouldn’t use it. It’s glitchy and you have to log out and back in numerous times to get it to work. The coach will send an email from it and all we’ll see on our end is a blank email. It hasn’t been updated in years. I honestly don’t know why it’s even an option to use anymore, when there are other apps out there that work a thousand times better.

Join app alerts, texts, & emails. Love the app, but I have one suggestion as a coach. I wish there was a way to send a short message with limited content as an app alert, text, and email from my phone. We had a line of thunderstorms roll though today and it would be great to send alerts via all 3 mediums to notify my team. Everyone accesses the app differently and I want to make sure everyone on our team receives our notification. Ease of access from a mobile device would be much appreciated!

What support??. I’ve had a unique situation that 3 emails to their comment box (because there’s no contact us address), with no response, has not solved. If you’re looking for support, all they offer are FAQ’s and if your problems not there, you’re FAQ’d. I’m not the coach and somehow a team was created by us during the registration process which is not the team that my son plays on. All the invites from the correct team are not able to confirm that my son is responding. I need to delete the created team and become affiliated with the correct team. May be my mistake, but there’s no way that I can get this fixed, so the app is crap.

Terrible!. I used to be able to see my kid’s teams and now when I log in it says I have no active teams which is not true. I receive requests from other team parents to join the team and I’m not able to. I have emailed their “help” desk approximately 6 times and I have NEVER received a response from them. There is no telephone number or an email address listed to contact them. This is absolutely terrible! I would give this zero stars if I could for their lack of customer service. When it did work it was a good app.

Great app for coaches needs a little improvement. We use SIPlay for our school and it manages the registration for all sports we offer from school year to school year. So the kids start in Kindergarten and move up k, 1, 2,....7, 8. A couple places of improvement I would suggest, would be to allow a coach to view a past roster so direct messaging from the coach about registration and such could be sent via the app. It would also be helpful if there was the ability to upload a drivers license size ID card for players and coaches. You can upload the cards as photos but you cannot get the entire card to appear as visible. This would be a good supplemental printout to go along with a formal roster.

Great app but one glitch. I love the app, the only issue I had was switching teams for the new season. I ended up needed to completely delete the app and reinstall it for it to refresh and load our new team. Otherwise the app has been great, messaging, schedule, ability to upload pictures and stay connected to the team during the season has been awesome!!

Time for Update. Time to update this App. To keep up with competition TeamSnap let’s you send reminders to families who have not confirmed attendance, keeps attendance history in checkbox and grid format. I have not been able to see e-mail history in SI Play and re-send e-mails. I would also like to be able to access more of SI’s features directly from App. and not just website. TeamSnap seems to give you more control of player and family info. If needed. I know of a number of coaches and families who register with SI play but use TeamSnap for team communications. I would love to keep using SI App in conjunction with SI registration system but the SI app. Needs a few more user friendly upgrades and tools. Thanks for following up on this.

What a headache. OK, this can be a useful app. The problem Is every season you have to delete it since you can not select your new team. Then once you delete it, it is impossible to get it to download again. I have spent MONTHS trying to get this to download. Did internet searches for instructions, ask people better at this than me. Nothing. The app Is useless if you can’t access it on your phone. The only way I am able to do this is every time you want to check the game/practice schedule, you have to go to the App Store and open the app, which only opens it in safari. When you are done checking it, if you close the app you have to go through the whole process next time you want to check something. No idea what is necessary to fix this, but it is a common problem and our athletic club is searching for another app so we can dump this.

Not bad, but room for improvement. Overall, the app does what it is designed to to do, however there is room for improvement. There seems to be delay when new activity takes place and when I can see it. For example, this morning I received a notification that my son was assigned to a new team, but when I went to my teams, the new team was not there. Two of our old teams were there. The new team didn’t show up until I logged out and then logged back in, and then only when using the magic link. Typing the password did not result in being able to see the new team info. The other things that should be added are the ability to log in using fingerprint technology the way other apps in Apple work and the ability to send messages to only selected individuals rather than the whole team

Glitches between Seasons. When my kids changed teams this fall, the app still held their team info from the previous spring. There should be an option to on join a team. Ultimately I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. What’s funny is I still continue to receive notifications from one of my daughter’s former coaches for a team she isn’t on any longer. Neither one of us can figure out if it’s something he did or something that I did. The app is helpful for managing three different kids’ schedules, but this glitch adds unnecessary confusion.

Overall easy except.... Overall, app is easy to use- except as a coach I’m STILL trying to print rosters from the app... which is not possible... or is it??? Or better yet... why do I have to go to the desktop site, which is NOT available on Safari... it keeps sending you to the app... which means I have to use a desktop computer to complete many functions. Can get frustrating. However, does keep parents informed in an easy to use manner... thanks!

First Time APP User. I’m new to this app and am a Team Manager. So far, I absolutely love this app, so much so, I actually contacted Sports Engine (I guess they have recently taken over this app) to request info on how to use this for a different organization. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews but I haven’t experienced any of these issues yet. I have been able to use the Team Chat, as well as, the “Easy Alert” functions to contact my players parents with only one issue so far. That issue was a parent not seeing any updates and not finding “our team” on their app, until they closed it and then reopened the app. Once they did that, all of the new info was there. I’ll hold out for the 5th Star until seeing what happens goi g forward.

App is okay but.... App is okay, it would be really great if y’all would add a feature to edit a cancelled event. Or somehow allow us to temporarily cancel an event due to a rain out so that when the makeup date is released we can go in and edit that event to make it not cancelled and put the new date in. you only allow 2 options currently- either delete an event or cancel an event without being able to edit it at all. You’ve got to find a way to fix this. Do you know how many rainouts we get in a season. A lot! It seems like this would be an easy fix. I use another app for our baseball team and they give that flexibility which is awesome. I currently have to add all the info back under a new game which is such a pain!

Rare Niche filled by this app.... It’s truly priceless and here’s to be the only solution for what provides I think it’s awesome certainly has so much more room to grow however so many people depend on it before I’m giving it three stars difficult because myself and many others have not been able to use it this week at all and we all ran through all the troubleshooting steps possible I hope your guys‘ response time improves; you have a good tool that thousands do rely on for all their kids sports.

Can’t open help desk. This app has been working fine for me for years as I’ve coached my sons. Now I can’t send messages to my team, open a help desk ticket or reset my password. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times. I have tried to reset my password and that doesn’t work. The only way I can log in is with the magic link. When I try and email anyone on my team it appears as if it goes through but never sends. When I open the app hours later and go to the sent messages page on the team nothing shows up. Now when I tried opening a help ticket with the app I get a message that the page isn’t available. This has been such a pain and waste of my time.

Occasionally works. 1) We’ve had issues with rescheduling games. Our league sends out emails to not trust the app schedule until they work through administrative issues which takes weeks - leaving us coaches guessing when we are to tell parents the games are. 2) Also, teams aren’t adjusted for the current season so you have to edit/delete old teams so you don’t get confused. 3) I still don’t have my daughters team online despite knowing her team. The season starts in 4 days, I’m the coach, and I don’t know my daughters teammates’ email addresses nor the schedule. Last year this happened, we had to reinstall the app.

Horrible at selecting photos. This app is good for messaging. However, when it comes to posting photos, there are some issues that would indicate to me a lack of understanding how the iOS photo selection framework works. It only allows you to view your entire library. You can’t select from an album. That would be fine if it didn’t organize the photos in some arbitrary manner. Sometimes, it shows your most recent. Other times it shows photos from years ago in your library. And then you must scroll through your entire library to find what you want. It also doesn’t refresh after your photos have been updated. It’s caching photos when it shouldn’t. Therefore you must close and reopen the app until the photos you need are available. That particular issue appears to be recent. I’ve posted in previous seasons. The biggest issue is the inability to select photos from an album in your library. For example, your Favorites album.

Frustrating but good overall. This app does a lot of things well, however there is a few things that frustrate me. The feed, doesn't allow you to clear old status from an old team without going one at a time. Even when you turn off that team. All status from an old team should disappear in my feed or give me the option t make it disappear. When you go to setting and then 'my feed' there is nothing there. It doesn't prompt you when a new team is available. On the available status, when reviewing who is there and who isn't, it shows both teams. I only need my team. The level of customer engagement is very high and I'm looking forward to seeing them address these issue!

Communication information updates/changes. So the problem is that all parents are not currently receiving notifications via text (which they prefer) about my practices because some of them were not included by park admin during registration plus updates via mobile are impossible it seems. Mobile App needs to have team member account management capacity to add contact info, specifically phone numbers due to parents request for text notification primarily. Changes to parents info is common at beginning of seasons (and beyond) and Coaches should be able to modify this info. Parents should also be able to use the app to modify their contact info. Most parents and coaches don’t carry PCs to the park; AND currently the web based version automatically pushes you to the Mobile App or the App Store with no recourse when attempting to login to make changes. The bottom line is that the process required to update/verify phone numbers for parents could certainly be streamlined. If it’s too hard then parents and coaches will flock to alternatives day one of practices...

Can’t log in. When I log in the app tells me there’s no active teams associated with my account. I registered my child using the same email address and I’m able to log in to the team website without trouble. All using the same email address and password. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I tried logging in through a different device. Nothing works! I sent 2 messages through the help on the app and haven’t received a response.

Gets worse with time. This has always been one of the hardest team apps to use, by far. In comparison to TeamSnap and SportsEngine it doesn't even compare. Every time one of my kids is on a team that uses this app I literally cringe. To the point where a couple of these teams have decided to use TeamSnap instead, even though all the data then has to be manually loaded instead of automatically syncing through the league. I keep hoping it will get better but it actually gets worse. Current issues are: - Teams I have removed still constantly load on my Home feed. - Currently it starts with a team calendar from 2017 on my Home feed (it's Sep 6th, 2019!). - Every time I RSVP to a scheduled event and then close the app, the next time I open it it shows that I haven't RSVP'd yet. - Just tried to RSVP and it blanks out and then goes to the Home feed. I have to click on My Teams again to bring up the schedule and it still shows no RSVP. - Closed the app and reopened it. Now it shows the Team schedule as having no upcoming events. 5 minutes ago there were games and practices scheduled through March 2020 (which are still showing on the league website which this app supposedly syncs with). - The number of ads is insane. I truly can't keep doing this if this app doesn't improve!!

Good but calendar bugs. Hi there Seems to be a part where you update a event in SI Play and it is not reflected in iOS calendar. Also I am adding events and it’s not reflecting in my Google Calendar or iOS calendar Overall I like the app and interface. But deleting hanging subscribers that were invited and not accepted is a bug along with the calendar not updating in iOS or google. Also text enabling does not have a mobile Ui just the desktop does. I was hoping automatic text wouldn’t go out as well.

Super Flawed App. If it wasn’t for my son’s soccer team communicating through this app, I would’ve deleted it a long time ago. It shuts off on its own, it doesn’t update properly and I’ve had to delete it and re-install it a bunch of times just to get the updates/messages/calendar I was missing from the team. The most frustrating part is uploading photos to the app. If you’re lucky enough to let it upload you can’t do more than 3 at a time and as the team photographer, it’s really annoying to upload 30+ pictures and it takes a good 2-3 hours of my day. That’s if it even lets you upload them in the first place.

Not user friendly. Can’t even change my name. Thai app is not user friendly at all. I can’t even change my name on my account. I’ve gone in and done it on the web browser like the help center instructed and changed my info but it won’t change what appears in the app. Also, you can’t delete players. My husband is the coach and several parents are having trouble getting logged in. They use the invite that was sent but it won’t recognize them. When my husband resends the email invite it will state “you already have an account with us. Please log in”. It’s so impossible to use. Many many flaws

This app needs to be updated big time!. Lots of bugs. Lots of glitches. When your click on a photo/video you can't edit it with the "X" button. Have to leave and close out the app, then open it again fresh. Also, support for HD/4K video would be nice. As well as Slow Motion video. I shouldn't have to screen record a slow motion video and save it to my camera roll just to be able to upload it to the app, because slow motion videos recorded on my phone play at normal speed once uploaded to the app. It's extremely frustrating, and quite frankly, you're Sports Illustrated and have the necessary funds to build a property app...

Less than stellar. The App is confusing, has a ton of useless advertisements and when messages are sent to you if you close them prior to reading them they are nowhere to be found. You have to go back in through the email link. I got an invite to a new team for this last night, but after spending 30 minutes trying to pull up the email link, trying to get into the app I can only find the team from last year. When you need to reset your password because you forgot it over a year, you can get a link sent to your email, but it just logs you in. This means that every single time you have to get a link and access through email instead of just getting to reset your password. When I run a team as team mom I would NEVER use this app. Shutterfly Share or Team Snap is a million times better. I always vote no on this if given an option for the youth leagues we are involved with. (Which is currently 6. Only basketball still uses this one - I try to get ahead of this messy app.)

Needs improvement. App is just ok. Big complaints- there are limited options to interact outside if the app as contact info is restricted when not using the app - maybe that’s good for privacy, but makes it difficult to fix issues like my second complaint, which is that the “snacks” feature is buried in the scheduled activity page. Put it in the front - an icon, a small window, something. I should not have to search into each game to see if (a) someone is bringing snacks (b) what day Is available that I can bring snacks.

Photos and schedules do not refresh. I’ve been trying to upload photos for 3 days and the app does not work. I’ve used WiFi, turned off WiFi, reset my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times. I got a few to load but it won’t work again which is extremely disappointing! I then went on our team website and loaded them very easily from the web version however I can’t see them on the app so it seems the app is not in sync with the web also extremely disappointing. Additionally I often have to delete and reinstall the app to refresh seasons and update schedules because it doesn’t work consistently. I’m a board member on our local rec council and the chairperson for our soccer program with over 1000 registrations just for soccer annually- we are currently seeking a new program with hopes of a more consistent functioning app for our parents.

Hard to Use - Not Worth The Trouble. This app is a great idea but the functionality makes it kind of a pain to use when trying to track and manage a team. Most of the features are hard to figure out which makes this app a pain when you’re at the field also managing a team in real life. The screen says “email your team and your messages will be saved here” but there’s no way to send a message. Or if there is, it’s not very apparent how to use it. You have to mark attendance before the end of the game/practice or you can’t edit. This is a pain because I’m really busy managing the team and I don’t know who’s going to show up until they show up. And then we’re busy - so when do I have time to actually log attendance? This feature is a little unrealistic. We can’t log progress of our programs on the app, we have to use a desktop - which many volunteers in our league don’t use, making this app pointless for us in a lot of ways. I am a volunteer with the Junior Giants - our league has quite a lot of feedback regarding the functionality of this app - would appreciate someone from the UX team contacting me so we can give some usability feedback. The league recommends this app, it’s advertised on all Junior Giants collateral, but it’s not a realistically helpful tool... yet! I’d love to help you get there with some human factor feedback. Only TRYING to use this app because I have to. I don’t know how in the world this app shows a rating of 4.7. In looking at the reviews I mainly see one and 2 stars. Issues that users were having 2 years ago are STILL issues. Obviously Sports Illustrated is riding the coattails of it’s established reputation and not caring about the ease of this app that, for some unknown reason, leagues are electing to require their families to use. “Home” should not continue to show schedules, scores, or anything else of teams that I have supposedly hidden, teams that are no longer in existence. And why can’t I delete these teams? Recently I have been invited to my daughter’s current team but the app will not add it. My husband is the coach and my information is registered with the league. I still have access to all of the other teams that I definitely DON’T need though. Put some effort into the development of this app. Right now it deserves a rating of ZERO.

Hard to use. If there's game changes and stuff as a coach it is hard to change places or times from this app.

Honest Review. This app is terrible

This App. This app is quite amazing but I didn’t give it a five star because I know the creators of this app could do a bit better even though it’s already great!

Not working the greatest. I have been struggling with this app for about a month. I’ve done everything I could to get the “FEED” part of the app to work. When I first log in, it’s there for a second and then it disappears. I also didn’t receive notifications through the app about a cancelled game, although I know other parents who did. Also, I can’t put in that I have a different contact phone number than my ex. I can only add my email address. That’s not helpful when my player lives between two homes. For the most part I like it, but there are still issues that need to be worked out.

Visuals. Print is difficult to read in some pages due to colour schemes, font and size .

Garbage. So slow and confusing.

Attendance Reporting Not Working. Release build v: 1.11002 Steps: 1. Select Schedule 2. Select an item 3. Select Attendance 4. Locate player (mine) - select circle 5. Select Attending (note: check mark appears in circle, Players grouping at the top updates) 6. Go back by selecting < 7. Go back by selecting < (to go back to the schedule screen) Repeat steps 2 and 3 and select same event - player status was not updated.

Garbage. Was added to my team with my email. Cant sign in. Cant create an account. Wont find my team or league. Deleting.

Wellness check missing. It would be awesome if you could add a wellness check within the app that is tied to attendance tracking. Other team apps have done this successfully and it makes for easy record keeping and less papers.

SI Play a nice resource. As a coach of a ball hockey team where the league uses SI Play app as a communication tool, I find the app very useful. It keeps my team info... including schedule & roster... as well as communications in one spot at my finger tips... very useful.

Not great. A little hard to use. Not as user frieny as team snap. Unable to see other teams in same division. Too much advertising App is busy and not set out in a clean platform. Not my first choice.

Bad. Terrible app. Doesn't work. My teams have been using this for 3 years and I've never been able to get on. Received countless invitations but every time I click on them it makes me sign in and says I don't have any teams. Much easier to just check the league web site and communicate through emails.

Probably the worst app I’ve tried this year. Text Notifications are delivered in code, app doesn’t sync properly, some players don’t get notifications even though they’re signed up correctly. Features don’t work properly. Chat is like playing Atari in 1982, no player direct message functionality. Did you even QA this app before you released it? Embarrassing to have to use this with my team.

App not saving game confirmations. Having continual issues with the app not saving the confirmations of attendance. Receiving daily emails to confirm attendance of games that have already been clicked on as confirmed because the app is not saving the information and defaulting back to no response given.

Keeps asking to verify my account. Says that it’s found my teams but doesn’t show any. Asks to verify account which I do but nothing happens in the app. I’ve verified my email like 5 times now deleted the app logout nothing works. I can’t find any customer support contact information

complete five star. perfect app 100% better then team snap.. team snap is a horrible app. great job on the enitre app. the best way to connect with the wonderful game of hockey. As a coach five years running now;and useing this app; this is absolutly the best app for HOCKEY!, and any other sports. Excellent app. and every update works well. people who have issues with this simply need to ask the conveinor of their league to assist them and connect them to this amazing app, and the app WOULD WORK continuously and efficently. Thank you very much for this app. one suggestion as a coach; i would love to see an update that would allow us coaches to tally and keep track of our teams stats from game to game and playoffs to tournaments.

Photo issues. Does not work well for uploading pictures. For example, implies the upload has timed out so reload. Not only did the repeat uploads take a lot of time, In the end each instance actually did upload so you end up uploading the same pics multiple times however, the pictures uploaded from a desktop are not visible within the app and pics uploaded by app are not visible within the desktop version.

Something is up again. Not sure what is going on again. Not getting push notifications. I can’t upload photos on our team page. Please fix. This is the way our team communicates. At least the schedule works. No messages notifications coming through.
