Great app, but missing some exercises.. I’ve been downloading tons of fitness apps to build and track my own routines, and so far I’ve that either you pay to track your work out or you don’t get enough exercises even basic ones. This app falls in the later category, missing some key basic exercises. The app is great in other ways, you can creat and track your own workout. You can start the workout and it will time and notify you when your rest period is up, even on your Apple Watch! At the end of your workout it gives you a summary report of the time you spent and how much weight you moved overall. My only compliant so far is in the lack of basic exercises, I don’t see any Smith machines exercises for people who go to gyms that don’t support barbell free weight, nor did I see any barbell back exercises. Shame, would have given five stars if they had more exercises to more accurately capture your workout.

Does some things very well and some things not at all. Week 3 of using the app. It does a great job of guiding you through a workout program with many options to choose from. I really appreciate how easy it is to customize a scheduled workout mid-flow. Can’t get on the station you need? This app has you covered. Just customize that exercise to find another one that hits the same muscle group with the push of a couple buttons. HOWEVER, if you enter an extra 0 on the weight you’ve lifted and you don’t catch it, it’s going to through off your progression graph and the recommended weight the next time you do that exercise. And, as far as I can tell, there is no way to amend a past workout. This is a very simple function and should be simple to execute. PLEASE ADD. Also, I’ve noticed that some exercises do not seem to keep the weight lifted data from previous weeks. It’s frustrating to see a lift coming up with no recommended weight listed because the workout the previous week doesn’t have a weight load assigned. Simple fixes, all. Overall, I do enjoy the ease of use, but without fixes I may not stick with it long term.

This is so cool.. I think this app is amazing. It’s awesome how you are in a way held to a standard and how it gives you the rest times and alerts when the next set is time to execute. I also like the fact that there are many different workout plans that you can not only choose from but also customize if you have or home gym and have limited equipment or go to a fully stocked gym. I also find it nice that you can alternate exercises and it’s cool that in a way this app tracks your progress. The only thing so far that I would ask for you to change is the amount of workout sessions that you can have when you create a workout. I mean, at the current setting the maximum is 7. Problem is, is made a workout where i split half of my work out in the morning and the rest later on so with a 5 day workout I would need to be able to create “10” instead of the current maximum which is 7. Unless otherwise there is a way to start a workout, exit the workout and resize the workout later on that day which I don’t believe you can do. If I am correct as soon as you exit it the app thinks you are “done” with the workout. I still give it 5 stars though.

Great App for Workout Ideas. While using this app, I noticed that the morning after, I felt a little sore. This probably means that I am using muscles that I am not used to using frequently, thus working out more effectively. I liked that I was able to target a certain muscle/part of my body. With the demos, I was even more certain that I was doing the sets accurately. Since they used a real life human to do demos and included short descriptions of what to do, the workouts were a lot easier to do. I will mention, however, the workouts were not kept track of, so I was unable to refer back to workouts that I liked unless I remembered what they were. A lot of the workouts are locked and not available for the free trial users, but I thought they were enough to keep me busy. Overall, I would recommend this app for anyone wanting to be able to target specific areas to workout.

Recommended Updates & Review. I have been using this app for a couple months now and there are a few things that I dislike, or need improvement. For starters, my gym does not have one of the machines that is on my list of exercises and when I hit customize it only offers me other exercises on that machine, no other machine or weight options. Second, for example it will say to do 3 sets of 12 on the Roman chair side bend but doesn’t tell you to do the other side. Another example, the single leg cable adduction, 3 sets of 12-15 doesn’t tell you to do the other side! So far other than those couple things I love how it gives me a video for every exercise so that I know how to properly perform the exercise. I also love that it helps me keep track of the amount of weight I use on all the machines or free weights, so that I can make sure I am increasing the weight and getting the best workout possible!

Used to be great, new updates ruined it. Been using this app for years and was good, simple, and clean app to track my workouts and weights for each one. The updates in recent months ruined it. First all the update deleted my saved workouts with no way of getting them back. I tried to remake them, but I can’t even select the starting weight and the rep count for each exercise anymore. Like really? Remove such a basic thing and replace it with stupid “suggested” reps and weights. I tried one of their workouts since making my own again was almost impossible and it doesn’t even save your previous weight and reps from a exercise previously. So you have to keep entering the weight and reps every time you do a workout, which is very frustrating. On top of that you can even go and see your past workout history, or add a new exercise while you’re in the middle of a workout. The fact that I paid premium for this app and they ruined has lost them a customer. Time to find a new app that can do simple basic things like saving your workouts, weights, and reps without manually entering them each time. Fix your app and stop treating your customers like idiots.

Amazing App one frustration. I was hesitant to pay for an app like this because there are so many out there. I did the free trial and then signed up because it was more user friendly and convenient than others I have tried. I really have enjoyed the app over the last eight weeks. I’ve seen a lot of gains and I love having a personal trainer on my wrist and in my pocket, I’d give this five stars, if it weren’t for the app crashing every time I miss an update. If the developers would provide an update notification on the app and on the Apple Watch, that would help significantly. Because there’s no notifications of an update, I find out because the app on the watch will crash mid workout and I lose all of my data for that workout, as well as the time in the gym. If I keep it up-to-date, the app works amazing, and I’m excited to keep exploring Workout. I love the milestones. But I’ve met all of them now. Let’s get some more milestones on the app those are fun to reach.

I love the app just a few recommendations. I love how easy it is to use and the ability to customize the workout. The customization feature makes it easy to change up my workout in a crowded gym. For reference I was a personal trainer for several years and I use this app because it simplifies everything for me. I don’t have to think about it, just go to the gym and follow the app. Saves me hours of thinking/planning my workouts through. Just a few things I’d like to see: first, my gym doesn’t carry 2.5 lb weights so I cannot increase my exercise (squat, bench, etc) by exactly 5 lbs after each weak. Please change the formula to recommend realistic weight increases. Second, I’d like a way to mark when I worked out but didn’t follow my plan. Sometimes I just do cardio and I’d like to reflect that in my workout app. Third, I would like some sort of function to indicate that I did not complete a workout. If I do 70% of the workout then I have to either input fake numbers or don’t mark the workout as complete in the app. The fake numbers don’t help the formula and saying I didn’t do anything at all is not helpful either. I’d like to just say that I didn’t finish the rest, and let the formula adjust my weight down for the following week. Overall I love the app!

At first skeptical because of it being an advertisement but.. This has honestly been a game changer for me, so much that it made me make my brother get it always been stuck at the gym always overthinking what to do vs just doing it this app allows for so much customization that u just walk in and do it. And the fact that u can add a focus group, for people who are at that intermediate level but ready to step up and even high level performances can use it to spice up there work routines and get other new ideas as to what to go to next week, also the way it tracks your progress but keeps u at pace with rest break timers that u don’t even have to look at because it just beeps as well in the background of your music. You can turn it off but I really like it keeps you focused.

Only missing one thing…. I love this application. It’s a wonderful, consistent library of exercises. The UI is attractive, without being cluttered and easy to use. The comparative stats going into the tracking journals and the suggestion for PO is really intuitive. The only thing that would put this app off the charts is having it report the exercises and movements to my Apple Watch. Currently, I’m using two apps just to report the exercises. I’d switch over completely, but the other app doesn’t bring the library or the suggestions for increasing weight for progressive overload. I’ve paid for both applications, because I know that interfacing with another device is difficult and costs a ton of time/money to invest in coding and research. That all said, I do very much enjoy the application. Thank you for all the updates and improvements!!

Clean layout but extremely limited for the price. THIS APP HAS ZERO INTEGRATION WITH APPLE WATCH AND DOES NOT RECORD ANY INFORMATION TO THE HEALTH APP This app seems to only serve as a ready made workout catalogue. These workouts claim to have a few different variations but they are not very different in some categories like the “get in shape” workout. These literally are the same other that the cardio portion. There is a nice chart that describes appropriate exercises for each target muscle area however the list is very limited in certain muscle groups. I hope this will expand in time. In terms of keeping track of your progress this app has a horrible layout that does not allow you to edit your workouts or give you any type of usable data to track your progress. They consider it a way to log your exercise but you’d be better off writing it down on a sheet of paper. If you want a quick and easy list of workouts that will eventually grow stale then this app should work for you. If you are serious about your exercise and want an app that will actually work with your iPhone, Apple Watch and health app then stay far away from this app until the developers actually give you something worth paying for. There are far better apps available like Gymaholic.

Loved it at first…. This app was great with holding me accountable and allowing me to progress. I enjoyed it so much I purchased the Lifetime membership. However, with the new update my app crashed and would not open at all. Each time I clicked on it, it went back to my Apple screen. With that being said, I had to delete the app since I was unable to access it. Which I figured was not a problem since I had my password for my account. But I was not aware, the developer did NOT create a sign in log for their members. So I was starting over like a new customer and EVERYTHING was lost. I sent an email suggesting making a login for members just in case something like that happens again. In addition, to add in the customers account their membership status. In response, they apologized for what happened; and then proceeded to say “ At the moment this option is not part of the app, but we've added it to our customer requests and we will try to add it in the future - but please don't hold us to any promises, it depends on the number of requests that we get for it (we always go by most popular requests first)”. With all that being said, proceed with caution with this app because if it crashes you will lose everything until the developer implement these necessary changes. This is especially important for Lifetime Membership because their nothing in my account that states “Lifetime Membership”, then basically they can just take our money without repercussions.

what a GREAT workout app!!!. I love this app ! Its definitely become my most loved fitness app. I use it when Im at the gym and also at home when I can’t go to the gym. For the gym I use their pre-planned workouts and for home I built my own using their exercises. I like the way the workouts flow and guide my through my exercises. I don’t have to keep track of time because it does it for me, and I don’t have to remember the exercises because the phone is with me and I can see what is the next thing I need to do. If you want to build your own workout you can just create different workouts from scratch, or what I like better you can take one of their existing workouts and just modify it and that way its really easy and a lot less work. I sometimes use the star on each exercise to buildd workouts on the fly really quickly. its nice, and simple, and quick, and it does everything I need and even more. love it.

Great app for starters. First off, I think this app is amazing for those who are new to working out or anyone who just wants a.. well.. personal trainer. Its great for learning, technique, exploration etc. However, there’s flaws in this being reality. One thing being.. as a working adult, I don’t always have time for the commercial gym but once you choose your place to workout you cannot change it to a home or small gym. Also, I travel for work so there’s months where all I have is a hotel gym. In addition to that deterring me from giving this app better stars.. It also does not allow you to take a day off of legs/arms/chest, etc. If you’re sore in an area, you will be working it the next day which can be fine or can be dangerous depending on the level of soreness. This app is not personal and does not cater to life factors. But if you’re looking for Form, Technique or expanding your knowledge of work outs I’d give it either the trial or a couple months. I bought the life time and it’s not worth it in my opinion.

Great App For Strength Trainers!. I used to go to the gym 2 times a day, 4 days a week and followed a customized workout plan I build out myself. Over the last couple years my presence in the gym has been spotty to non-existent. After getting a gym pass again, I realized that I needed to work up to the routines I used to do and came across this app when looking for help. I cannot speak highly enough of my first impressions 2 weeks in. They start by gathering information about you and your physique aspirations, the frequency of you going to the gym. From there they have a library of customized workout plans to cycle through every few months. I feel like I have a personal trainer in my pocket with this app… but at a fraction of the cost. You log each set, your weight and it formulates how to help you achieve your goals. My gym is always busy when I go so I cannot always get the equipment needed for the suggested routine but it provides alternative options for working the same muscle(s) so you do not have to wait. For newer people to the gym, it also has videos you can click into on your workouts to see proper form.

Great App to Track. I really enjoy this application. It helps me track my workouts. Therefore, I stay consistent and I am able to see strength growth. However, I do wish there was a feature in which I could change workouts or exercises in the section that creates a workout plan for you. There technically is an option to do this, but most of the time the options to switch out a certain exercise or movement is limited. For example, on my workout plan, it has me doing pull ups, however, I would like to change that movement to a lat pull down on a machine instead. I am unable to do this and I can only select variations of the movement. That said, I think overall this app is great, and I would recommend it to somebody that is seeking growth in their strength and commitment to working out.

Excellent. I’ve been in the gym for 4 months straight, 5 days a week. For the first month I was just using my old workouts and my notepad. I quickly realized I needed more structure. I decided to give this app a try and built my workouts how I like them, 5 days a week, bro splits. This thing really changed my workouts, I have followed it to a T even when I didn’t like some of the workouts (you can change the workouts up and customize them to target the same muscle group). The biggest improvements I have seen are my legs and lower back. This app really “crawl, walked, run” my progression to see real results and not destroy my legs and back and make me hate it. It does a great job building you up to be able to do more and more. Another great thing is that this app tracks your gym time and performance and charts it out. If you’re looking for a little extra discipline in your workouts or a way to track your progress and keep you on track this is it. It makes it so easy. I workout and read between sets and the timer let’s me know when to begin the next set so I’m not staring at the clock or my phone during my whole workout. I get to read and lift and really enjoy that ability to not be tied to my phone timer or the clock. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Trying to make the best of it. So now that corona quarantine feels imminent I looked for “equipment free work outs” that I can do at home. There is no full workout, fine I can deal. I thought I’d make my own. There are no equipment free exercises for lats, shoulders, traps, forearms, biceps, abductors, adductors, or hamstrings.... there is no way to search for equipment free exercises. The most annoying part is I can’t find a way to create my own exercise. So I’m pretty much not able to use the app if I don’t have equipment..... Beware the 7 day trial. I used it once, then was on vacation and got charged the $89. So now I’m trying to use the crap out of to get my moneys worth, which has kind of been working to get me to the gym more often. The workouts are good. I’ve been doing the get in shape workout and I like it. I’ve noticed it being a little glitchy with giving the ding noise before the timer is actually done. It also won’t let you look at the info for the next exercise while you are on the rest for the last one. When you click the ? For the next workout, it just brings up the info for the current workout.

Great app!. I rarely leave reviews, but I found this to be an excellent app. In six months with this app I'm seeing better results than I got when I exercised with a personal trainer for a year. It creates sensible workouts, varies the weight, changes things around to approach the same muscles from different angles. I also find it oddly motivating. And I can text my girlfriend how many "elephants" I lifted that day! If I had some wishes, I'd probably add stretching exercises as an option before and after the workout. I'm using a different app for that. And also, better logging of cardio. Currently, you can add how long you ran, for instance, but not distance, pace or calories burned. Another thing I would ask for is making the weight settings more explicitly. When I do a dumbbell bench press, do I enter each dumbbell or the total weight?I think somewhere in help you can figure out that it's each dumbbell, but it's not always obvious. Finally, for exercises where you do one arm or leg at a time, it would be useful if you could log each arm/leg separately. All these wishes are nice-to-haves though. As I said, I think the app is great, I've been using it every week for over six months and I'm not planning to stop.

Can’t believe I am just finding this app. It’s awesome! I’ve been a casual gym goer all of my life, with spurts of regular visits to nonexistent for short and long periods of time. One thing I feel that is important in a gym is to **come with a plan**. Don’t just say you’re doing arms or legs or back, etc. and this app does all of that for you in a super easy to use way. Each set of weights and number of reps is preplanned for you based off of your initial workout and then after that, the algorithm takes over. You just start with the muscle group you want to bulk or shred and it will create a well rounded, yet specialized workout regiment for you. I’m almost complete with my first ten week regiment and it motivates the heck out of me. And when I don’t know how to execute a workout, there is a well produced short video to show you the proper form. Anyways, 5 stars/A++

Differences in Male and Female options. My husband and I have this app and noticed there is a difference in the male and female options for the app and exercises. We both need the same options since we are using our home gym but the female version doesn’t offer those options, for example the male Vera offers options for basic home gym, minimal equipment push/pull/leg split (which I’ve done in the past with great results) yet I as a female do not have these options and have to input and/or change my workouts to alternative workouts because even inputting that I’m using a home gym it still gives my plan workouts the require commercial gym equipment. It’s rather frustrating. I had to change my gender in my o profile to make in order to get the same options as my husband. Other than that I can see the app being a great tool but it needs to be more equal across genders for its options when it comes to gym type, equipment, splits etc. or give all the options and let the user decide what works best for them instead of putting them into gender specific plans/versions.

Great app. Because success with this relies mostly on you, this is more advice than anything. First, be patient with yourself and the app if you’re new. It’s a lot, because frankly it’s a lot to know. So start slow. Familiarize yourself with every feature and modification. A lot of people have health issues (I’ve had 5 spinal surgeries) so a rigid plan off the bat isn’t feasible. It took me a week or two to realize modifications are easy. Second: know your level and take the advice for that level. If you’ve messed around with weights once or twice but never had a legit trainer, you are still a beginner. That’s okay. Everyone has to be at some point whether their parents taught them at age 6 or they started mid-50’s. And there’s nothing wrong with either one, if you’re mid-50’s and still a beginner, then at least you’re doing something about it finally.

Actual user with realistic results. I’ve been working out consistently for since around 2017. Of course I’ve been through the billion workout apps, diets, supplements, etc. About 2 months ago I found this app and I though “why not”. I had hit a plateau and stopped seeing any results. I did the week long trial and was amazed at just what one week was able to do. The app is amazingly user friendly wether you are a beginner or an advanced gym goer. There is something for everyone and their personal goals. The ability to change my workouts is my favorite part because I go to multiply gyms and none are the same so one my have the machine I used one day but when I go to another gym they don’t have that. So being able to change the equipment was an amazing feature. It has many other features to use but if you were considering giving it a try, do the week trial and I can almost guarantee you will be very pleased with it. Only thing I’d like to see them add is an option to plug in your information to determine how many calories/protein you should eat based on what look you’re trying to achieve. I’m very happy with the purchase and to add one more thing, it also helps with discipline in the gym. Keeping you on track and focused👍🏽👍🏽

Love it, but minor changes would help. This app is absolutely worth the investment. A minor change I would suggest is allowing for customization after the workout has begun. Sometimes the needed equipment is unavailable so a quick pivot would make my workout more efficient. Also an undo feature if you accidentally skip a workout would be helpful. For exercises that workout individual appendages (i.e. lunges), please specify whether you need to switch legs. Lastly, specifying how to measure the weight for certain exercises would be helpful. This may seem obvious, but when using individual dumbbells, do I calculate the weight of one dumbbell when logging it or the cumulative weight? And just to add one more thing, you should be able to specify whether your gym has 2.5lb weights. I noticed that some suggested weights will be a weight that is unavailable.

So Far So Good!. Easy to use, routines are clearly explained with video for each exercise in a set. They just updated the app with new stuff, which was cool. I did buy the full version. Also there are no problems listening to music and going to the app to update the reps/weight (using iPhone). It’s simple to enter reps and weight for each rep, as simple as using those older paper logs. Very easy to enter during rest period then get back to the next exercise. They do have exercises with a little ‘chain’ icon (superset?), I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with that so maybe a bit more explanation in that area would be nice. But that doesn’t take away my recommendation experience of the ease of use and depth of exercises and routines offered. Great app, especially for anyone wanting some variety in exercises but maybe not knowing how to properly perform a new exercise. This app contains the routine and technique guide, great for new and vet trainers.

Great App with plenty of exercises to keep you busy in the gym!. This app features a ton of exercises specific to every major muscle group in the body. For $40, you can get a lifetime subscription that will give you access to all of their professionally developed workouts and exercise plans. Even if you choose to use it for free like I do, you can tailor each one of your workouts to meet your individual goals. You can also share your homemade workouts with your friends and vice versa. The only issue I've run in to so far is that there aren't enough single-arm variants to most of the typical double-arm exercises. I like doing single-arm movements because it allows me to focus on each side and prevents me from depending on my "stronger" side during double-arm lifts. However, the app doesn't have a lot of these single-arm lifts so I can't plug them in to my custom workouts. It's not a huge deal, but it requires me to explain my workout a little more when I share it with my friends. Other than that, this app is great and I recommend it to anyone who is committed to or wants to commit themselves to going to the gym more often.

Fantastic app for most. Generalization: I think this is a fantastic app for most people. If you are new or looking to get back into strength training the app has premade workouts. This app made a tremendous difference in my overall health by enabling me to have a workout plan that worked with my schedule and equipment. As I progressed I added more equipment and was able to customize my workouts. I also had a very serious injury and needed to build 100% custom workouts and it enabled me to do so. For those more experienced you could easily build out your current workouts and use this solely as a tracking app. My complaints are really in two areas: No integration with apple health. I always end up running this app on my phone and simultaneously running the strength training activity on my native Apple workout app. This really needs timo register in Health/activity on the Apple Watch like Peloton/Nike/Runkeeper and many more. The Apple Watch version is nice and I’m sure some people use it. I’d prefer the ability to start a workout on my phone or watch and seamlessly enter the reps/weight from either throughout the workout. I don’t care for the it’s entirely on your watch or your phone. Overall it’s get the job done, but I can’t really use the Apple Watch feature and since I run, use Peloton and other items I wish it integrated with Apple Health and Fitness so there is a unified place for me to track my calories and other activities.

It's a great app BUT.... It doesn't show how many calories I've burned doing the workout programs I've chosen. If you get the free version, the 2 day a week gym program is unlocked. I paid to access the rest. It's not bad I suppose for a year since it's about 1/33 of a paid fitness trainer. If you buy the lifetime app get ready to be bored if you've done ALL the workout programs because from the looks of it, it doesn't get updated with new programs. I paid for a year to try it out. You can make copies of the workout program and edit to your liking. It keeps a list of the workouts you've completed (list not calendar tracking which would be nice) but I suppose it's an app made to focus on the programs instead of the bells and whistles other apps offer which is why I have a folder on my phone with all my fitness apps that offers different things. I guess there's not one app that does all.

Love this App! Best workout App!. To build a REALLY quick workout on the fly you click the muscle you want to train it brings up exercises for that muscles, then you click the star to add it to sort of a list of favorites and use that as a workout plan. Click the star again to take it off the workout plan.

Very good but has a lot of minor flaws. Ive tried for years to go to the gym and it’s always been frustrating trying to figure what workout I’m supposed to be doing. I’ve felt kind of silly every time. I had almost given up. I committed to using this app and it ABSOLUTELY works. I walk into the gym confident that I know what I need to do that day because of this app. I’ve noticed changes in my body I haven’t had in literally more than a decade. I love Apple Watch support my only complaints are: It can be difficult to enter the weight on the watch. The box is small and hard to get to the weight you want it too - I’ve gotten better at it but it’s frustrating and could see it being very difficult for some people that might not have quite as much finger dexterity. Sometimes at the gym the equipment you need to use is being occupied. There isn’t a way to skip to one of your other exercises while you wait. There is no way to see what the next exercises I have upcoming (yes I want to see the full list, not just the next immediate one) unless you exit the app on your phone and the relaunch it to see that days plan.

Great for beginners and to higher levels.. I have been using this app for about 6 months. 3-4 days of week. What I love: - I like their training programs. I wanted to have long term programs over one-off exercises. Lot of good options to choose from. Started with 3 day — went on to 4. I cross train other days mostly running or Apple fitness+ things. - love the descriptions and videos. They have helped me get good form. I have not been ever had trainers. - Love the Apple Watch integration so i don’t need to open the app What i wish were better (but not deal breakers) - Better handoff between Watch and phone. Need to open the app on phone to sync the workout to Apple fitness. - single hand exercises don’t talk about training both sides. I have usually just changed the reps on them. - some really ad-hoc weight increments which often my gym does not have. - from an exercise jumping into the history of it. You can only see what you lifted most last time you did it (not what reps and sets were there). - Suggestions for post workout stretches - History of programs completed. - exporting details of workout/programs to friends for advice or improvement - recently started logging my body measurements. Seems ok. Things which some competition has but i don’t really care about - heart rate integration - live coach over text or video Things which they have but i don’t care about: - sharing workouts on social media. - transformation pictures

Great App and Versatile!. I started using this app over a month ago and I appreciate that it comes with plenty of at home or gym exercises and workouts. I especially enjoy the feature where if there is a certain workout you can’t do you can replace with another one that is more accessible to your individual need. It comes with beginner or intermediate and advanced levels. So where ever you find your self in your fitness journey this will accommodate that. I will keep using this app and will become my go to. I also wanted to add one more thing it tracks your previous workouts for you and recommends each week a amount of weight to increase based on your previous week’s performance overall a really great app and for the prices it’s amazing!! This was a well put together app for anyone who is just beginning or wants to continue their fitness journey.

Good but not great. I downloaded this app to help me track my workouts and progress. I bought a 1 year subscription and haven’t been disappointed. I’m on my way to reaching my goals thanks to the app. While the app is good there is a lot of room for improvement. The number one annoying thing about this app is the workouts that are not featured. Yeah I understand that you could never fit every workout for a muscle group into an app however I assumed that basic machines you can find at crunch fitness would be included and they are not. This makes tracking your actual workout difficult when switching to a different exercise within the same muscle group. My only other complaint is that the trainer doesn’t accurately track time. It’s able to follow if you did a planned workout or not but if you skip a workout for a week it would have no idea. It follows time only as you enter e workout.

Almost perfect…some improvements needed. Downloaded several workout apps and eventually stuck with this one. The best feature is the interface design and “My Trainer” syncing up with my Apple Watch pretty easily. A lot of other apps interface isn’t as easy to use to doesn’t work as well on Apple Watch. The main improvements needed: custom workouts you build cannot be used in My Trainer and will not sync with your Apple Watch, so your stuck with using My Trainer to sync with Apple Watch (can’t build from scratch). When you want to custom your My Trainer workouts, you cannot change a muscle workout to another muscle group (I.e your 2nd workout is shoulders…you can only custom that to another shoulder workout), and if you custom My trainer and add other workouts , you cannot change the sequence (I.e let’s say i want to change the 2nd workout to another muscle group like the example above…you’ll have to delete it, delete all the workouts below it in sequence, and start all over). Overall, pretty good app but customization is difficult.

Impressive but disappointed. This app is absolutely fantastic in its creation but the reason why I’m giving it a 4 out 5 stars. It’s because originally they had a question system that asked about your experience and then it would build you a work out around your answers. Don’t get me wrong it does just that at the beginning when you first open the app after downloading it. Before even after doing that the first time, you were able to go back to the work out and rest it and redo the questions and have it recustomize a workout for you when ever you wanted. Now just to do that, you have to delete the app and redownload it just so you can do the customization again. Not like how they had it before were you could just reset it and answer the question to have your custom built workout schedule. So that y I gave it a 4 out of 5, I would give it a 5 if they added it back to have a customization for you just by answering the questions whenever you want. Instead of deleting and downloading it again just to do that.

Well made app !!. I never wrote reviews for apps but this workout app is helpful for all skill levels and so user friendly! The app provides pictures, categories, and a simple workout template which is easy to fill out with auto options and recommendations. You can set up multiple workout routines, add and name the days, add reps and there's so many different workouts on here! The workouts are sorted by muscle type and showed you exactly where on the body the exercise focuses. The only exercises I didn't see listed were unweights squats and lunges. My only suggestion would be to add a notes section on the workout routine page to add notes on a particular day or create your own exercise that isn't listed! This app has honestly motivated me to make a multi day workout routine just because it is so easy to use and create on the app! I can't wait to start using the app for the routine I made. Thank you !!

Overall great app, need to work out issues with Apple Watch. Overall this is a great app. I have had it for some time now and o started this app because I wasn’t seeing progress in my strength with my own routine that I’ve been doing and switching up for years and tracking in another app. They recently rolled out an Apple Watch app which is great and I had been waiting for. But you either have to use ONLY your watch or your phone. And the Apple Watch app is hard to maneuver. If you try to switch to the watch or phone it stops your whole work out and cancels the entire thing out and you have to resubmit EVERY REP AND WEIGHT (then time will be off cause that also resets. The only other improvement that could be made with regard to the entire app is that you can’t edit a work out after you complete it. I accidentally clicked on the complete work out when I was only 2 sets into my entire work out and I could let delete that work out or go back to edit it to put in the rest of my work out.

Best workout app I’ve used. I’m not a professional athlete nor do I have the budget for personal training. I’ve used 5-7 other exercise apps, and this is the most useful one I’ve found. I do pay the premium membership; as with any other exercise app I’ve used, you don’t get the great features on a basic membership. The money is totally worth it for me. I can customize workout plans based on objective, current shape I’m in, venue (gym vs home) and number of times I plan to workout. There are several off-the-shelf plans to choose from based on the above. I instead had the app customize a workout plan just for me (also based on objectives, current ability, venue and workout frequency) and it’s exactly what I need - calibrates both the exercises and the weight resistance based on how much I can lift at the time. There are very detailed and helpful demos for each exercise along with a video showing proper form and a tracker of past performance on said exercise. Again, by far, the most useful, flexible and customizable app I’ve found and totally with the money.

Best Work Out App. Honestly have been using this app on and off for 5 years. I enjoy the updates and the extra work outs they have added to create your own. I used this when i was first weight lifting and its great for tutorials for beginners, tracking for all levels, & recording to see just how hard you go at the gym. You can share your workouts with your friends and/or ask someone hey does this look like a great set list. This keeps me in the zone with knowing what i need to do next and not just aimlessly walking around and looking lost. Oh a machine or area is taken; thats fine. You can click on the next set and come back to what you need. You can also modify it while actually using it to get an accurate reading of how many reps, how long you work out is, and how much weight you lifted in total. It’s pretty awesome and totally recommend it to all my friends and family! Thank you for creating this, as it has helped me feel more comfortable in the gym!

Results after 1st week!. I’m 40 years old and weighing in at about 250 pounds. I’ve never done any weight training in the past. The only thing I do is walk. I’ve been experiencing some pain in my forearm which I attribute to old age and weak muscles. I figure getting cut is now or never. The clock is ticking and I believe it’s time to give my wife a true man’s body lol. I’m a manly guy (car mechanic), but my body flab says otherwise. Within the first week, I could visibly tell that my body is changing. My chest area already has less moob and my arms are starting to show some definition. Flash forward to week 3 and my chest is larger, my arms are larger, and my waste line is shrinking. I’m able to lift more weight than when I started, do more push-up’s , and almost able to do a pull-up! This app works! Give it a week and see if you don’t notice a difference. Btw I just have a bench, pull-up bar, a couple dumbbell's, and a yoga mat. You can do this too! With the app I’m all in at about $250.

Good but would like some added features. I was previously using an online coach to program my workouts, macros and have weekly check ins. I absolutely loved the service but it does get pricey so I was happy to find this app. It programs my workouts based on my goals and gives you the option to swap exercises for something comparable when needed. The one main thing I really would really love to see is the option to edit past workout history. Midway through a set, I realized I entered the wrong weight. Minor issue but I would really like my history to be accurate. In addition, I would like to be able to edit the time stamp. I started a workout out around 11:00PM and finished after midnight. So instead of the workout counting for Thursday, it shows as Friday. Once again, minor, but would make my history accurate.

Best Workout App!. So I’ve had this app for almost a year now and let me say that this is one of the few reviews I do for an app because it’s actually that good. I needed an app that can provide a workout plan and be able to track my weights and reps for each machine and exercise. Before this app, I had tried a couple but didn’t meet the expectations that I was having. I came across this app when I was looking for a new and gave it a try. I used up the free trial and let me say that I loved it! I purchased the lifetime plan and it has been very well worth it! Love the different workout plans and exercises that it has and the ability to add your own if you want to. Definitely have seen results and has helped me push my personal records as well as stay consistent. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent app for workouts!!. I’ve been using this app for close to 2 years now and I think it’s one of the best workout apps out there. I was so glad that the developers added the option to create your own exercises. Really improved the versatility. Probably the only things I can say that they should include are the following: - The option to add notes to your exercises. For me, I like to save the reps I made for the current workout so I know where I left off the next time I go. The problem is I sometimes forget the weight and rep range I’m aiming to achieve. So the option to have personalized notes to go with your exercises would be awesome. - An option to throw together your own meal plan. It was great when they added the various meal plans to the app, but I personally don’t follow any of those. Right now, I use myfitnesspal for meal tracking, but it would be a great addition for this one!

Great interface for workouts - Possible improvements. Been using this app for the last 3 weeks. I really like the layout. Some improvements could be added. I would like to see a exercise counter for what exercise your on, 1 of 8, 2 of 8, 3 of 8 etc… When entering in you weight or reps, you have to hit a super small “done” button. It would be great to see that as big as the “Did it” button. I wear glasses and usually take them off during my workout, it’s very hard to see, even on my iPad mini. On choices of exercises, you can choose other ones, but I have limited equipment and sometimes you have no choices (pull up bar) for example. It would be great if you could pre-select your next workout day exercises before that day and not at the moment you’re working out. Not sure if you can do this, I haven’t found a way yet. I’m sure I could nit pick, but really over all, I’m very happy with it and my results.

Great Exercise App!. This app has really help me fight my procrastination when it comes to getting back in shape. I wanted to remain old school by creating my own workouts and writing everything down in a journal. Now that I’m older, I don’t really have the will power to be consistent like my younger self. Workout has helped achieve everything I want to accomplish in simple but effective way. I enjoy the custom workouts and the ability to chose an alternate exercise if a machine is not available. The automated journal is awesome. It gives weight suggestions to help improve your strength through your customized workout plan. There many workout plans to choose from. They vary from full body or you can focus on a certain area; legs, abs, etc. I recommend this workout app to anyone that needs a “trainer” for motivation.

"My trainer" feature is a great improvement. Having now "My trainer" as a full option with the opportunity to log the workout, time the rest pauses, log the weight you lift and all other features in one single option without the need of jumping from one place to the other is simply amazing. I found this feature to be the main reason for me to be motivated to go to the gym every day and stay focused during the session. The badges and the summary about how much weight you lifted is a plus to keep your motivation in line. I'm not giving this update 5 stars just because I found annoying the fact that once an exercise is started you cannot see the video and exercise information again to check if you are doing the right technique. Also, it should have an option to pause the exercise to exit temporarily the log without telling the app you're done with the entire workout, for example to check the video again or in the case your battery is about to die, you can save what to have done so far, and re-start the log when you get enough battery life again.

Fast process.. Yeah this app works and I’ve seen more progress in a month than I have in the three years I’ve gone to the gym. I’m pretty stupid when it comes to fitness stuff, I have no idea what most machines do and I usually just did cardio and made my body even more exhausted and often felt worse. This app taught me to train EVERYTHING to really see progress and it also taught me the importance of consistency. Having a routine helps and every exercise, I feel like I’m making more and more progress. I’m about 6-7 weeks in and I’ve seen so much progress, I take weekly photos and it’s working!! I’m so happy. I’ve still got a long ways to go, but I feel so much more confident and happy with how I look. I was always so negative about my appearance and felt so hopeless, but this app has seriously changed my life and how I view health. THANK YOU to the creators of this app!

Crashes and doesn’t save data. I used this app a few years back and it was great for the first few months then I stopped going to the gym. Fast forward to 9 months ago and I’ve been steady going to the gym 3-4 days / week. The app starts out great. But the more you workout and it saves data, the slower the app gets. I’ve reached out multiple times about this and have gotten no responses. My app will not open at all now. I refuse to delete and reinstall because my wife deleted hers to try and get hers to work and all of her history was gone. They told her that it’s because they don’t save the data to any cloud. So once the app is deleted the information and workout history is too. Now I’ve got 9 months worth of data that I can’t see because the app won’t open. And if I delete it, it’s gone forever. It gets 2 stars because it is a great app if you are only using it for a 2-3 months. Outside of that, it can’t handle a normal gym routine.

Very good, but could use the following changes…. I’m loving this app so far! Been using it for more than half a year and I love the structure and how it automatically calculates your suggested weights. However, I really wish they can make one change to the workout app. And that is, allowing me to see how many reps I did last time while working out. For example, I would like to see how many reps I did for each set last time instead of just displaying the max reps. If I have 4 sets and the goal is to hit 12 reps for each set, I would like to be able to see how many reps I did for each set so I can set that as my goal to beat for that specific set. The app, BodySpace, allows me to see how many reps I did for each set and I can go all the way back to when I first started performing that specific exercise as it saves a history of all my workouts including the number of sets I do, and the number of reps I do for each set. The only work around for this is I have to exit the workout session so I can go back and see how many I did for each set for that specific workout, but this is highly inconvenient as I have to restart the workout session. Make this change and this app will get my last star.

Great workouts so far. I am on day 3 of my strength training workout. I am not a beginner, but I am restarting after an injury and surgery. So far, I really like the workouts. I have a couple of suggestions though. I would like the ability to manually increase the rest timer between sets. Maybe this happens automatically as weight progression happens, but I like to rest 2-3 minutes between working sets on my compound lifts instead of 1 1/2 min. It would be nice to be able to adjust that in the app without having to go to a different app for the timer. I would also like the ability to add weight or at least add a note to the exercises. I was doing neutral grip pullups the other day, and the exercise in the app only gave an option to enter the number of reps. Since I’m recovering from a hand injury, I was on the assisted pullup machine and didn’t have the ability to enter weight or add a note to specify what weight I started at. Those two features would be helpful moving forward.

This app is a MUST HAVE.. Fantastic app, for all areas of fitness. Really quiet easy to navigate for all those people who aren’t tech gurus!! The last thing we want is to be hanging off our phone screens during a work out. I don’t think there’s a fault I can find within the app yet! It’s a must have... Great work guys...

Helpful, but doesn’t have everything. This app is pretty helpful in the gym. Would love to see some options to add basic stretching routines into the workouts you can create and/or the possibility of being able to insert your own actions which you cannot find on the app. Like maybe a ‘create your own’ option to add into the workout would be really helpful since the app cannot possibly have all the options the gym provides, although it is incredibly useful in keeping track of reps/sets

Good but could be a lot better. It’s good but could be better. - You can’t edit workouts once you have started which is annoying as sometimes the equipment isn’t available. - It needs a female model - Each workout needs to be different or at least each week. I’m in my second week and the suggested workouts are still the same.. that gets boring real quick - It needs warm up and cool down time

Good for beginners.. I got this app as I needed one that I could automatically track my progress, sets/reps, and rest times and ditch the notebook/timer. Great for beginners as they have photos/videos/text that explain good form. It also shows you exercises by body part. However, the workouts they made are pretty average at best. I had the free version and paid $13 on a special to unlock the whole thing, but it was a bit of a disappointment. Overpriced even at this price, so don’t even bother with a subscription. You’re better off making your own workouts but the downfall is that it is still missing some workouts AND you can’t add your own (eg. They don’t have bent over exercises, t-bar rows, body weight exercises etc). They don’t seem to update the app often either.

App improvements. I’d say you’ve got a great app in the making with this, but is too similar to every other fitness app on the App Store, set yourselves apart by not focusing so much on pay to improve yourself, the ultimate goal should be for people to have a platform to improve themselves physically. Don’t just have single exercises as part of the free app, combine them into daily workouts for free, that little step will get you more downloads and higher reviews. When you take #1 fitness app on the App Store you can start focusing on ways to make more money off the app. But while up and coming you should focus on what people really need.

Ok app. NO developer response to issues.. Wanting a muscle building program suitable for a hard gainer but only one I could find is a standard build program that includes cardio. Slim ectomorphs don’t need cardio. Also there is no way to switch kilos to pounds within the app. It’s either one or the other. In Australia our equipment uses both weight measures, some are lbs and some are kgs. A switch option where you enter weight would be great. Update: still the same……? So still 1 star. Due for renewal but don’t think I will as I have been totally ignored.

Exercise selection. This app has the potential to be brilliant. But a couple of negatives. It didn’t matter which type of gum I told the app I had access to, the exercises it gave me were identical. So if you fix this I would use this app. I would like to see a list of exercises and the ability to select which ones I have access to, and my plan being generated only from that list. Until then the app is useless for home gym workouts.

Almost there. So far so good. What I would like to see added is the option to add in a random or specific excercise for a body part at the end of the workout. I.e have a continue lifting button and let you select a body part where it throws you a random bicep excercise or something. Or at least for you to be able to finish the workout and then select a single excercise and log it so it at least has your history the next time it comes up. When that functionality is added I will subscribe. Until then. I shall cancel my trial period. But overall a fantastic app

Awesome. Ive been using the app for just under 2 months now and can say for sure its made my time at the gym easier & a lot more enjoyable. Great exercises and simple to learn for the beginners with a click of a button you can watch the a short video which shows how to perform each exercise & which area it targets. Highly highly recommended.

New update. I love the new features and more options in regards to training plans. Been waiting for this. I have used this app for years now and it just keeps getting better and better. I’m enjoying my new training program.

Latest update needs some fixes. Who came up with the last update as a good idea? I now have to re-enter all my workouts, if I try and edit anything such as reps in the settings it removes everything from that exercise and now I can’t even set time between sets. The app was good before although with some limits as to the exercises you had stored but now it is completely unworkable. It needs fixing asap

Simple and easy to use. This app is simple and easy to use when you are doing you workout. Intuitively designed and easy to read. It also allows you to change things (ie weights and reps) on the fly. Will be great if I can add my own workout option. Hence 4 stars.

Looks amazing. Great app so far have developed a plan to follow without having to start a membership. It also has activities for every muscle group with explanations on how to do it and what it targets with videos. Depending how my 10 week plan goes I may buy a yearly subscription. Definitely recommend.

I love this app. I have tried many different apps, for workout routines. This app is by far the best so far. I like the fact, there are exercise already created on hand for all kind's of workouts. Most of all I like the fact you can build your own workouts. The interface is second to none. I look forward to the future updates as this app develop's.

Review. Pretty sub standard workout app. It doesn’t even have the T Bar Row as a back exercise. You have to add it in yourself, along with many other exercises. You’re also unable to exit your workout and access other elements of the app, during your workout. And if you do, you’re workout is ended and saved for you. You can’t go back and re-access that day to complete it. It also doesn’t have the convenience of listing your previous weeks’ lifts inside the workout pages. Making progressive overload a guess work. There’s no page to add personal notes about your workout either, for eg: “had to use a different machine”, or “gym was super busy so finished early” or “felt pain in my knee, be mindful of this next week”. A one week trial is not long enough to know wether you want to drop $100 on the app for an entire year. Before you have the chance to truly get a grip of the app, they’ve already sconned you your $100.

Exactly what I was looking for. Haven't paid for the subscription as I do have a PT but... I may look into it down the track as I really like the app. For now I'm just putting in my own workouts to record weight and reps and create new workouts. For this its excellent. Great app, easy user interface. Love it.

Missing a be crucial thing. This app does everything you’d want it to in regards to workouts, creating workout, customising what machines you use or alternative workout you do to achieve a similar result. However I have noticed that it is missing what I would consider to be a massive shortfall & that is linking it to Apple Heslth. There is little to no integration with recording workouts with the App, so it fails to register any activity that you might do. Huge opportunity to resolve this in some of the future updates.

Functional and practical. This is the best gym app going that I can see. Even the free version allows me to create my own work outs. If I could ask for one improvement it would be to allow loading extra sets in each routine. 4 is ok but sometimes I want to hit 6 at higher weight. Otherwise this is a very good app.

Best gym app I've found. The free version is great, being able to create you own workouts. But the pro subscription is quite expensive. I would pay for the pro upgrade with a once off payment. I don't want the ongoing training support that it offers, just accessibility to the premade workouts! Please consider revising your in app purchase strategy. Regardless of this, I still rate it 5 stars because it does a fantastic job with a user friendly interface.

Finally a real app. Guys I’ve been looking for an app like this for ages its the best trust me amazing plans good workout it does everything for you tell you what to do exactly also there’s 7 days trial for free you can try it out than you can see yourself that its the best

They are listening (read this review). Bumped my review up from 4 to 5 stars. After complaining in my previous review (below) about no updates and no Apple Watch functionality they came out with both today. Thank you for listening to your customers. Previous review --> I haven’t seen any updates in almost a year; despite this I've purchased a lifetime licence after critically reviewing this app alongside its competitors. This app has everything I need apart from Apple watch and Apple cloud integration. It would also be nice to have weights progression on custom-built workouts and also based upon 1RM instead of maximum weight lifted.

Good app but missing a few things.. I like the workout recommendations and push for progressive overload. All the app is missing a few important features: - Workout tracked doesn’t log a workout to Apple health. - Progress chart in each exercise only takes into account max weight and not reps. When you are doing lower weight, higher reps your progress actually goes down. Would be much more helpful to see progress charted as volume (weight x reps) - Would like a way to access the weight and rep history for each exercise. You currently only see the suggested and max weight.

Excellent app for getting back to the gym. I love this app as it really removes the fiction of going back to the gym. I always know I can walk in and not have to think about it, the app will give me a list of exercises and will keep pushing you by slowly increasing the weight. The only thing I’m looking for at the moment would be some data exporting function to have it track workout time and estimated calories burnt to send out to either Apple health, Strava or MyFitnessPal, just to make it easier to share and track with others (e.g. my office is starting a fitness program soon and having to manually import running data is a bit annoying). But highly recommend it otherwise!!

Great app. I really love how you can change exercises that may not suit you and it’s extremely easy to use. The main thing I would change is being able to create an account so you don’t lose all your previous workouts when you change devices.

Amazing app…just needs 1 problem fixed. Great app all round and worth the money, I love the feature that lets you swap exercises out with alternatives, and that it creates a plan for you. However, something I found really annoying is that closing the app mid-workout removes all of your progress, which was really frustrating when this happened the other day. Alternatively, a feature that lets you edit the actual length of the workout for when this happens would be awesome and earn 5 stars!

Good app but very limited integration with apple health. The app os good for keeping track of your exercises and to get workout routines. The problem, is that it provides a very limited integration with Apple Health, which for me, is a big deal since I use different apps to track exercises and health stuff and I need a central app (Apple health) to manage all this data. Happy to change my review if this change, which I believe is not that hard as Apple provides a good amount of api to make this integration.

Amazing UI and great programs. I have been using this app for 2 weeks and I love it. I love how adaptation the app is, easy to navigate, provides feedback and asks questions on rep ability. It’s great that you can customise the program and creates a progress graph on your gains.

Use this app every day. It’s a great app. Started me getting back into the gym. I feel confident going in and following a plan. The workouts are good, I enjoy focusing on different muscle groups so the 5 day week works for me. I’m on week 6 and noticeably getting stronger and leaner from when I started out. It would be great if variations of exercises could be updated. There are so many new innovative ways to workout different muscle groups. Be cool to add some news ones.

One of the best out there. Excellent workout app - especially since the latest update. Losing all my saved workouts in that update was not fun - but appreciate they were backed up My only complaint is the exercise list is a bit limited, would love to see a custom option for exercises not listed.

Great App with fair bit of adjustability.. Missing an Apple Watch connectivity. Would be great to press “did it” on the watch and see the timer goes without using the phone. Missing the option of ‘customising’ a workout by turning it into a superset.

Customised workouts are difficult to use. This rating is steered towards the customised training schedule. Had to stop using it as I was unable to keep a proper log of my workouts because the functionality doesn't allow for good editing during or after the workout. You have to follow it perfectly for it to save your reps and weight as you can't go back after a workout is marked complete. So makes it difficult to swap excerises during a workout too.

Fantastic app. I’ve been using this app for a few years. It’s been great from the start, with new features being added every now and then. My only current complaint is that I’ve been unable to sync my Apple Watch with the app to have my workouts contribute towards the daily exercise count on my apple fitness app. Besides that this app is 12/10.

Great app & support. The app is great and the support is even better. When I wasn’t able to use the app for an extended period due to injury, even though the App Store doesn’t allow pausing your subscription, the support team came up with a plan to issue me a coupon for the time I can’t use it. Highly recommended.

Best of the best. I prefer to never rate apps. I'm lazy😂 But I can't help but appreciate this app. It seems to me that maybe newbies still need to work with coaches first. This application is in my opinion for people who have experience in the gym. And an understanding of the technique of exercises (yes, there are exercises on the video and there is a description), but in any case, the base should be. the application is very cool motivates me to go to the gym 6 days a week (I started with 4 times a week). Thank you guys your are best!

Practical with nice graphics. I love the graphics and how you can set up your own workouts. However, it needs to be more adjustable. You should be able to specify right and left workouts for single limb exercises. And I would love to see more exercises listed when I search for alternatives as my gym is small and doesn’t have many machines. Also, I hate how the end of daily workout badges disappear if you don’t share them straight away! Overall, good app but more work needs to be done on the GUI and versatility of exercise options considering the high subscription fees.

Awesome App. Got this app years ago, and it’s just continued to get better and better with updates. Simple to use during a workout, easy to adjust and check weights, and love the new data analysis section. One of my favourite apps!

Best for beast. Easy and professional app for those who like to see their progress together with monitoring all their activities such as the last weigh used, number of reps and ….. I have been using this app since 2018 and now addicted to it

Alarm stopped working when listening to stuff. Used to be a good app until they turned off the timer alarm when music is playing on headphones. Such a small change has made the app completely useless to me because I listen to podcasts at the gym, and hate constantly looking at my phone to check when the timer is up. I’m really disappointed and annoyed. Have been forced change to Fitbod. Will be deleting the app.

Amazing app. This app is the only good app that you don’t have to pay for it’s has how long you want to exercise. And reminds you to exercise it has all the work outs on the app so your never not knowing what to do next. All round very good app and should definitely download and try it

Great. Very good app with lots of great features. Love the videos and the dynamic weight changes based on previous sets. One suggestion I’d make is to clarify the language around reps/weight per side. Eg for dumbbell curls we get to nominate one weight…is this both dumbbells combined or for one arm? Eg. 3 sets staggered good mornings 10-12 reps…presumably this is this per leg, but is it 5-6 reps per side? Or 10-12?

They thought of everything.. This app not really boy sets your program based on your individual needs but it also gives you access to everything you need at your fingertips. I read negative reviews on this app when purchasing and I can tell you they are wrong. This is the best app on the market for the serious trainer. 10 outa 10!!!

Nice app with a lot of potential. Good workout app. Could be improved by 1/ adding better stats rather than the current useless info (total weight lifted in a day?), 2 the ability to transfer data from device to device.

Kickstarted my Workouts. I had been wanting to get back into the gym for a while but wasn’t sure where to start. Being able to pick a muscle and see a list of excercises with instructions whilst building my own workouts really allowed me to jump in with confidence and not feel embarrassed

Simple, pretty good BUT…. I used to be a PT and I enjoy this because I don’t have to program anything myself and it keeps track of everything easily…. BUT… there’s a few things I wish you could do with it. For example - being able to make notes after each exercise as well as being able to remove exercises. I do my cardio on alternate days and some exercises I can’t do (even with the alternatives) due to injury. I know you can save it without logging it but it would be great to be able to make it a bit more custom in that sense and not feel like you’ve left something incomplete.

RonnyB. I like how it gets your details so it can do the correct workouts for you, changing exercises if needed but working the same muscle comes in handy at the gym if equipment is being used or you are a bit overweight and it’s saying pull ups but you are not ready for that. It also automatically change’s your workout after a certain time period. I have tried a few apps best one I have found.

Excellent app. I absolutely love this app. It has made it so easy to get back into the gym as it automatically creates a workout plan based on my preferences and goals. I’m not a gym expert, so there are some exercises and equipment that I’m not familiar with. The app does a great job at explaining how to do the exercises, with both video and text. And if I’m not too sure I can easily change the workout to something I’m more comfortable with, but still target the same muscles. It’s also great to be able to track my progress and weight progression. I think the annual plan is worth the price as I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on PTs in the past for only a few sessions. The free trial is a perfect way to try before you buy. If you’re a complete beginner to the gym, I would still recommend getting a Personal Trainer, if possible. It will help you understand how to properly do key exercises and use gym equipment with the proper form rather than relying solely on the video tutorials on the app. Then you can be more comfortable going forward with this app once you are confident with the basics.

Just what I needed!!. At first I was sceptical as most workout apps are pretty basic. As for this app, it asks you what you want to do and gives you heaps of variety! Detailed instructions and also a video clip of the workout! Just the push I needed while training solo!

The app is great. The app is great, would be even better if in any kind of workouts, more specific superset workouts we would be able to log not only in chronological order, in case some equipment is being used we could choose another and then go back

Very useful. This app works well. I’m relatively fit and know how to use equipment but not how to properly structure workouts so that’s why I’ve downloaded it. I also like that it has a set timer which keeps you on track. The only feedback would be the library lacks some machines that are in custom boutique gyms (lying leg press for example or kick back machine). The other feedback is more options needed when customising a templated workout. I’d like to reorganise, add or remove cardio if needed. So if you don’t want to deadlifts for example a Machine alternative isn’t available only other barbell activities.

Keep coming back. I downloaded this a few years ago when it was new and bought lifetime membership. I have tried other apps but keep coming back to this one. It's so convenient to keep track of weights lifted and can easily adjust goal reps and add or subtract sets to existing programs. The built in timer is so convenient. I can easily add other gym plans into the app even though they already have really great fundamental workouts plans built in. It's very easy to use and keeps getting better.

Great app, wish we could pick the machines. I like the app, great design and detailed exercise but not as customizable with the machines. I don’t have the leg curl machine at my work gym and the exercice keeps popping up and even if I do customize all the suggested exercices are with the same machine. No way to specify which machines are available to you.

App keeps pushing me to go from 15lbs to 40. Feels like whatever trainer program this app uses pushes for injuries. Be cautious if using

Charge me at the free trial. They charge me the full year while I was in the 7 days free trial and nobody answers my messages

Scam. Told me I had. Week to trial the APP best was immediately charged for the entire year !!!!

Great app but zero sync w apple health (or others). Great app. Would go 5 stars if they did the basics of a heart monitor and apple health sync or harming or something.

Cannot recommend it enough. Perfect and has all u need

Feels like a scam. Get people to start a free trial in hopes they forget to cancel within a week or you charge them $120.00 (CDN)

Good but not great. I continue to use the Workout app because it’s still the best out there for me, but after 2 years of essentially no updates I’m getting quite disappointed at the laziness of the developers. There are still a lot of shortfalls that could be very easily improved, like weight increases that don’t make sense, and weight suggestions for no-weight exercises, but we continue to see nothing from management. For the price, you would think they would be able to pay just 1 person to make steady improvements and upgrades every few months. How about even just adding some new exercises!

Charged me during the free trial. I decided to try the free trial and was charged the $79 immediately!!

Need improvement. Just head up!! You can’t change, If you want to change split work out. If you want to do first leg and the upper body. You can’t pause workouts. Time keeps on running. That means you logged data will be wrong. And you can’t come back where you left off if you close the app and want to stop the time being recorded. If you save it and come back it will start from the beginning again. Those things are easy fix but very inconvenient. If you need those the this app is not good. Everything else is okay. If I missed the instructions. Please let me know how to do that. Thanks

Great all. Had this app for about 3 months now and really enjoying it. Purchased the premium and totally worth it if you plan to go to the gym steady. It would be a great option to be able to change the colours/theme on your Apple Watch and phone.

Good app for exercise. Thank you it helps a lot to me

Hmmmm. Fantastic app but it’s been completely broken for almost a week now. Please fix it soon because I’m wasting money.

Amazing app. I love the experience and the workout

Best workout app!. This app has stop working since last update!!! Please fix. It’s working again! Updated to original rating: best workout app out there!!!!

Not usable unless paying 25$ a month.. You can only see one workout per muscle if you don't buy premium. Not worth your time, don't download.

Dont get this app. I unfortunately paid for it, and discovered that it gives you unrealistic weight recommendations for your workouts (after you logged in what you actually lift for a couple of weeks) wierdly enough i find myself editing and customizing the workouts every week on “foundations” week just because it gives me only 4!!!! Exercises! Third thing is you cant just log and see your previous weight lifted on the same exercise, you have to look at the dumb AI recommendation it gives

Has great workouts but constantly crashes. This app has great workouts and tracking system. However, the app crashes when you least expect it. This app has crashed on me the second time and my workout history and exercises have been wiped out. If you are planning on using this app, just have another app incase handy. You can’t depend it.

Great app missing key feature. This is a great app that takes the thinking process for workouts out of the equation. I really wish they would have a feature that saves your weights and reps as you change workout plans. Frustrating when you write down your weights and reps in specific exercises but can’t see what you lifted if you chance the workout plan with the same exercise

Great. I love the app. I just wished they gave me an approximate of how much calories I burn with each workout like other apps I know.

Lol. They make you subscribe you enter all your data and then it shows that u need to pay

Waist of money. They said it was free trials but then charged me.

Great app, videos makes it so easy to understand.. Great app, videos makes it so easy to understand.

Best workout app ever. Best workout app ever

Great app. I’ve used to for 100’s of hours and love the app. You can use a timer in between sets, the app keeps track of your PR’s. An your previous workouts weights. Only thing they can improve on is adding more workouts but you can also add custom workouts as well it just doesn’t look as pretty

Not worth the money for me. App crashes all the time building custom workouts and you lose everything and have to start over. Can’t superset more than 2 exercises together so tough to build tabata style workouts. The pre template workouts seem to always be the same Would be good to load which gym equipment you own into the app so it recommends based on what you have. Can’t seem to set rest time when building work outs but I may be missing something Difficult to jump around exercises in the app once you click start program. You kinda have to finish things in order. Would be great for days you are bored to just click a button that can generate a workout basted on the mount of time you have. Like a quick 20 mins an work out. I do like the timer interface. You can move the rest timer around and shorten the rest time on a one-off basis.

Great app, but charges automatically. This is one of the best apps for training. Just be mindful that if you sign up for the free trial, they will automatically charge you for the annual membership if you don’t cancel before the 7 days. Oh, and the app is not helpful at all with managing your membership, it doesn’t have the option to cancel membership there.

Best workout app. This app has made it possible to build my own workouts easily, and is easy to have open at the gym to keep on track

Women are an afterthought. If you choose female as your gender you will only have Overall Fitness workout choices. The men also get muscle gain, shredding, minimal equipment operations. Why?

Greedy. Used to be good. Now locks you into paying a subscription before using it. Do not update if you want it to still he useful.

Its perfect. Perfect.

Best Workout App!!. Amazing app! Latest updates are great

it’s the best especially if u have a Apple Watch. Making me feel like Connor McGregor after every workout

Excellent videos, plans and time management. I like this app , I am use this one for long time , it really productive videos, plan and time management. I highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best workout app. The app is really well thought-out, very motivating, I’ve tried to find this tool for yearrrrs.

Scam!!. I signed up for a 7 day free trial and was bill $99 Canadian immediately.

Excellent gym workout app!. Amazing features and continuous updates! Highly recommended!

Doesn’t load since last update. Doesn’t load since update 3 day ago

Greedy. I was thoroughly enjoying the app, right up until this most recent update where they decided to paywall the ability to use and create custom workouts. You absolute greedy rats, I won’t give you a dime

Kallion. Great app

Decent. It’s a pretty good app. Only complaints are you can’t customize the amount of sets or the duration of the work out.

Almost Perfect. I use this app for weekly workouts. I love it very much. If the workouts included body weight fitness workouts ( Calisthenics) without any dumbbells or free weights, this app would be the go to app for all types of workouts.

Garbage. Garbage unless you want to spend 55$ or more.

Organized. I’m terrible with making a routine for the gym this app helps keep me on track with notifications and it’s very easy to use. Keeps me consistent in the gym.

🔥🔥🔥🔥. Honestly, first time working out in a while and I don’t feel stressed about figuring out a workout. I’m still a noob, but this app is fire

Love this app. This workout app is awesome keeps track of everything and helps with the exercises. Highly recommend

Not free. It should be more clear that the app isn't free, and not after installation and creation of accounts Not cool

Customizations. Good day team, I know the hard work that you putting in this Amazing App and I really appreciate that efforts from you. But , I would love to share with you some great idea about adding a full customization to be able to add some exercises or modifiy them or even remove them from the workout plan or program. This idea will make us mush happier and give us the opportunity to take the full benefits of this app. Please note, this update will help us pick the exercises that we have available at personal home gym or small gym. Thank you!

Great app. Best app hands down 🙌🏼

Professional app! Great options!. Professional app! Great options!

Very helpful for a beginner like me. Just a few notes, there is no option for “no weight” on exercises that are body weight intensive for a beginner…like crunches just a screen starting at you asking how much weight you used when you’re dying from doing it with no weight could have been discouraging. Also my biggest complaint is I can’t find an option for a gym partner? I workout with my wife and while we have very different weight requirements, it would be nice to have the option to workout with someone on the app, as if right now all I can tell you can do is workout alone with no partner, and I’d like to have a joint workout so to speak where we can each do the same exercise, and rest while the other does their reps

Maintaining focus and heart rate is important.. I enjoy using this app to pre-plan which muscle groups I will work and how to meet my unique requirements. I’ve endured multiple spinal surgeries in the cervical spine and just 8 months ago, my third lumbar fusion in as many years. I’m preforming Extended PT to regain strength, endurance and lean muscle growth. My challenge is each arm/hand has limitations due to nerve damage and I may discover the same with both legs and feet. This causes me to focus upon my weakest limb first, then matching on the stronger side to maintain symmetry. This app reduces time expended between exercises as I’m able to map out my workouts in advance, and if necessary, immediate alternative exercises when equipment availability is limited due to use or maintenance. Working the heart by maintaining an elevated heartbeat between exercises is as important as working biceps and triceps. Lost time is lost opportunity and at 62 I can’t afford any losses! With gratitude and hoping future expansions combine both fitness with a diet diary allowing me to track my caloric intake along with my efforts inside my gym. One needs to understand which foods provide the best energy for power and eliminate unnecessary or excessive calories to remain lean while increasing muscle.

Progress lost. This app is great but I have lost my total progress for an entire exercise three times already. This is unacceptable. I get to the end of the work out, log the last set and it doesn’t auto complete. Then I leave the app and come back and it turns out that the workout saved except for what I logged for the weight and reps. Since the app thinks I logged a workout as done, I attempt to log he weight and sets again, it thinks this is a brand new workout and will overwrite everything again meaning my time will also not be accurate. And other than this bug, there is no way to end a workout without saving so you have to make sure you remember everything you did previously because if you don’t, you’re suggested weight for the next workout will be inaccurate. Please fix. I do think this app is great but it all falls apart when this bug appears.

Better than a personal trainer but…. I am very new to going to the gym, and I have been loving using this app. I also got a personal trainer because I’m new to the gym, and this app is actually better than any personal training I could get. The fact that it gives you specific workout programs, modifies the weight and sets to your needs as you progress, and shows you exactly how to do the exercises with perfect form makes this my favorite app that I have used. But… I’m only giving this app 4 stars because this is the 2nd time this week that I complete a workout, log the workout, finish the workout, and then when I go to start the next day, it says the workout isn’t started. This could be user error on my side, but I see the congrats and the summary breakdown. Then the next day it’s gone. So I have to try to remember what I lifted the previous day, and manually log it back in. If this problem gets fixed this app gets a solid 5/5 for me, and has been my greatest aid in going from a non gym goer to a regular. (If you think the app isn’t worth the money, try it before you try a personal trainer. The workouts may seem intense, but use whatever weight you are comfortable with. Even if that’s just the bar. There is no shame in starting out)

Pretty good app!. I’m about midway through the 4/week bulking program. I’m liking it for the most part. It’s really stretching me since I’ve spent the last couple years on strength exclusively. A couple recommendations: - After the first rep of each set, I lose visibility to what weights/reps I pulled the previous week. Would love to have full visibility to the full set week over week while in workout. - A 10k overview of the goal along w the methodology would have been nice from the start. The first week aka foundation had me confused. Didn’t really notice what we were going for until late week 2 (pre peak, peak, etc) Def would have prepped better each week if I had any foresight on the week over week goals. - Eating/Diet is a HUGE part of the success of bulking. I had to re-research what I needed to do each week. I feel like I lose some potential gains in the first 2 weeks as a result of this need to reset dietary needs. A quick summary based on workout type would have been super helpful. - Didn’t notice the before/after photo area til it was too late. Would have participated if I’d known earlier. Overall very helpful. I’m liking how my body is looking each week so I know it’s working.

Good, but needs some changes. 1. Overall I like this app a lot. It makes planning and training easy, and I love that it adjusts weight for you. 2. None of your data is stored in the cloud, it all appears to be locally stored. I lost my phone and this became a big issue. On my work phone I couldn’t access the plan I paid for, and then when I got a new phone, I wasn’t able to access my workout history or current plan. Please fix this. 3. Oddly hard to spontaneously super set: sometimes I like to quickly cycle between a few exercises in a given plan. Unless you program this in specifically as a super set the app makes this extremely difficult — when you switch between exercises it will record that you are done with the full set, and you’ll have to restart that set to log your reps. Very very annoying. Please make this better.

WOW!!. I'm giving this app 5 stars because it's really worth every penny! I've been in the gym for 4 years and I've seen great results but needed to push myself further to have that sculpted fit look. This app is perfect. I can choose from programs already put together that target my goals and how often I should be doing them. Each program is designed for beginners or regular gym goers and I like that you can copy the workouts and edit them to fit you even more! Half of these workouts I didn't even know how to do but they each have pics or video settings so you can watch proper form & technique. You can also record & keep track of each workout to keep log of your progress. Overall, very happy with this app! Very easy to navigate too.

The Best Workout App!. I love this workout app. Before I got it, I had very inconsistent gym/exercise habits. I wasn’t confident at the gym, and didn’t know how to use lots of the machines and the many different workouts. This app changed everything! I am now confident at the gym and know what I’m doing. The app includes different workout plans, that are customizable to your goals. Along with this, you can watch a short video of someone demonstrating how to do the exercise you are doing. The videos have helped me significantly improve my form! I’m so thankful for this workout app. I highly recommend this as a resource to every person wanting to be healthy. It is well worth the investment into your future!!

John. I’ve had 3 pro trainers over the last 15 years. They were great, no doubt. I’ve been in and out, like many over that period. But…I’ve been very regular over the last 15 months. Yes, you can find workouts on the internet, but not nearly as detailed as this app. And there are some great trainers on there, true. The problem for many gym goers is how to hit the entire body in a single workout, whether you do a 3, 4, or 5 day a week plan without spending countless hours doing so. This app takes you through all of that WITH A DETAILED Plan, along with every conceivable exercise for each muscle group if you want to pick and choose. Never seen anything even close to this. Best money you’ll ever spend on an exercise regimen!! Hands down. Try it for 7 days free. You’ll see!

Pretty Average - Customized Workouts Menu is Frustrating. This is a pretty good app for finding workouts and creating routines. The custom workout list UI needs improvement. The videos and written explanations of the workouts is very helpful and easy to access during your workout. I appreciate that you can change the model in the videos. The UI for customized workouts is frustrating. Simple intuitive commands that would expect are just not easily found or are missing completely. How do I delete a workout routine I created? Why is it when I rename my workout routine, the name doesn’t update in my list? Why when I duplicate a routine does it not actually duplicate in my list of routines? I think most users would want to customize workout routines and save them in their weekly order on their workout list. I don’t understand why I can’t easily do this from the workout list menu. The trainer routines are good. I like the suggestions but again, it’s not intuitive if I need to skip an exercise or remove it from the routine because I don’t have the necessary equipment in my gym. Anyway, I am going to try another app. From me, an intermediate lifter, this is not better than manually tracking my workouts in a spreadsheet.

Solid app. I found myself doing the same 5 workouts every time I went to the gym. I now get excited to do all the workouts this app has put together for me. I’ve been going for a little over a month and am seeing results and hitting new PRs weekly with this app. It’s cool it has a long program too. It’s not like a week and that’s it. I would recommend this app to someone who is looking for a program to follow with their own twist to it. It stills gives you freedom while working out where you’re not starting and stopping a video trying to follow it. Every workout has a description of how to do it with a video of someone doing the workout for visual reference and details of muscle groups. There’s a lot of info on this app to help you improve in the gym!

A good start -. I have been using “training” apps for many years. Each app has its strengths and weaknesses, with few really capturing the full experience or “path” of a transformative workout process. This app has a great starting place. But I do not think it is worth to pay for the full price because it has limited types of workouts and other technical limitations of the app itself. Pros: P1 -images, gif, and video clips of workout available while you track sets. Useful to remind you of motion and proper form. P2-A good selection of startup workouts - see Cons C2. P3-allows tracking of your weights and sets - which trail to the next week and you can see where you were last time you completed workout. - see Cons C3. P4-timer is great to keep your resting times on point. P5-workouts are divided by those you can do 2xweek 3x per week, 4x, etc. All easy to follow. See Cons C2. Cons: C1- You can get the same access at a lower price point. C2- most of the workouts are repetitive. The variety of workouts is pretty limited. C3- history does not track across workouts. So if you did decline dumbbell press in “Workout A” and then follow “Workout B,” which included decline dumbbell press, your tracking history does not come up in this workout as it does if you follow were to redo Workout A.

Incredibly helpful app. I have never belonged to a gym and haven’t really used weights to workout very much most of my life. I lost 60 lbs and wanted to put on 10 lbs of muscle, but was apprehensive about going to the gym because I really didn’t know what machines to use or the right way to workout. I tried this app and it made it really easy to know what to do and how much to lift and rest during the whole workout. The videos are great to give you the exact proper form for every exercise and is invaluable to the less experienced. I have been following it religiously over the last 75 or so days and I am definitely looking much more muscular and feeling really strong. I look forward to the gym now and am in the best shape of my life. The Workout app is a major reason why.

It’s Ok could be better could be worse. I won’t be renewing my subscription not because I hate the app it just seems like there is better out there without the cost. The training plans are good and the weight progression suggestions seems to be consistent and gets you to push yourself but there is just a lot missing from the app that you would think would be no brainer type stuff, for example -When you are doing a “trainer” workout you cannot add an exercise once the workout has begun -Apparently there is no exercise that’s a substitution for bench dips which is weird -Machine lateral raises isn’t in the app -You can’t just put a workout in as you are doing it, it has to be pre put in which I know is how it’s supposed to go but sometimes you are with someone and just mirroring them -You can’t share a custom workout or even a trainer workout even with another user of the app -The undo functionality is annoying if you tap the wrong thing there is no going back and keeping the rest counter working. -Customer service is non existent even a message board to talk about these issues No ability to share a workout even with someone who also has the app so if me and the wife want to do a certain workout we h

There are a few things that’ll make it 5 star. This is by far one of the best workout apps I’ve tried, and trust me I’ve gone through plenty. I’ve used this app for several years and along the way I’ve noticed a few minor things. This app should constantly be updating their exercises and it’s variations, it’s intermediate at best. This has an immediate impact on what “My Trainer” can offer. I find myself too often wanting to incorporate a specific exercise to my workout and to find out it’s not on the app. Speaking of “Workouts”, I’d be nice to have the ability to replace an exercise or skip it all together after having started the workout. Outside of all these things mentioned, this app does a great job of providing the information and tracking abilities that one needs.

Excellent. Honestly if your new to the gym and don’t know what to do or if your a veteran and want to focus on specific goals this app does it all you can add specific workouts to any muscle you want and take away or change has almost any work out for equipment in the gym and things that don’t require equipment if you don’t have a gym you can go to this app has been a life changer for sure the only thing I would want more of is achievements I like seeing my achievements and it’s dumb but like to tell myself I reached a specific achievement maybe that’s the gamer in me but try this app if your planning on staying committed ive been using it for 6 weeks now and have seen awesome results

Haven’t been in a weight room in 2 decades. Midlife crisis at 40 and wife and I wanted to hit the gym and get back in shape. Used to workout in high school and thought I could remember my routines but it wasn’t happening. This app is basically my personal trainer. It’s so much easier to work out when you’re BEING TOLD WHAT YOU NEED TO DO and have those exercises tracked! The app is fantastic, giving different options for body types and even options for different exercises that target the same muscle groups if you’re not liking the current recommended exercise. I truly don’t think I could’ve stuck with the routine without this app. It’s been fantastic. Well done faceless programmers that made this. Very much worth the $60 per year.

My favorite.. I’ve had this app downloaded on my phone for at least three years at this point. It helps me fill in the gaps when I need to return to the fundamentals, break a plateau, or need a new exercise to add in to a routine. I’ve always been athletic and in good shape but this app helps assist along the way as needed. I’ve never had any issues with any version of the app. Today is the day I decided to actually start paying for the app (the free version has always been enough) so I can use the built in workout routines and by glancing at the routines section, I feel like this could help A LOT of people who are trying to recomp or who are just getting started. Please download this app. It is better than any of the others.

So close to greatness. This is really a pretty good app. It’s a little pricey for what it does. The video demonstrations are nice. Sometimes logging weights and reps can be a little finicky. I would like to see 2 main improvements: 1. Sometimes it gets locked in to a specific type of exercise for a general muscle group. For example, I could probably use more time doing underhand cable pull downs to work my biceps and lats. The program determined I should just be doing various types of pull-ups, and ai couldn’t customize outside of a limited variety of bicep/lat workouts 2. The program doesn’t seem to learn and analyze very much from the data you enter while using it, in order to recommend weight ranges for new exercises. In other words, if I spend several weeks tracking progress in a barbell Romanian deadlift, I would expect the program to give me a suggested starting weight when it switches me over to dumbbell Romanian deadlifts, without me having to get out of the workout to go look at the last thing I lifted. Seems like that’s what you’re paying for in a program like this. Also would like to see more flexibility and control in saving and editing/resuming workouts if you have to stop for some reason. It tends to just reset.

Great fitness app. I’ve been using this app for 3 weeks now. I bought the premium which is worth it for the price instead of having a trainer. If you struggle figuring out when to up your weights this is the app for you! That is exactly what I was looking for. It calculates how much weight from my first week I did and then ups the weight for next week gradually. Also after reading the reviews it looks like the app creator reads them because they added a little done button and other things that was listed in reviews. Like being able to see how to do the exercises while on the timer. I’ve been looking for an app like this for over a year. Thank you for creating This app I look forward to training on my next 6 week workout plan.!

Highly recommended to structure your workout. I utilize this app for every workout and it’s been highly effective for muscle gain and improving my fitness. There are a wide selection of workout programs that target your fitness goals. Overall, the app is worth the money. I would recommend enlarging the texts in the top corners within the workout routine because they are quite small and can stifle navigation. I would also recommend adding the “how many more reps could you have done” feature at the end of every workout even when the user adjusted the weight. It seems like the feature only shows up when the weight suggestion is not adjusted by the user.

Highly recommend. I bought the lifetime membership today, not because I need any of the premium options but because your app is so well made that you deserve it. Couple of ideas to improve the app (which is already amazing, thank you). 1. When editing an exercise within a routine, beneath the rest between sets buttons, add a “Notes” section so we can add notes about that exercise, routine, or form. (This will be beneficial in many ways as we can have different forms of the same exercise that may not be available in the app). Then show the notes under the exercise when we are performing it. 2. Add “weight” option for body weight pullups so that we can have the weight we lifted with pullups included in our weight lifted chart / tracking. 3. Allow us to choose a default “time between exercises” and “time between sets” time within our settings. That way we dont have to individually set the times for each exercise. 4. Allow us to add “custom” exercises to our routines. This does not need a picture or video, just to allow us to add an exercise (custom name) and the quantity of reps/sets/weight. Thanks! Amazing app!

5-Stars (Except for their lack of support?. Urg! It pains me to want to give this app the five-star review it deserves but their customer support is sadly absent 🥲 I did get one response via email one time, prior to purchase, but it took several days and they never responded again email or via DM. As a newbie, who didn’t want to just ‘go’ to the gym and guess at what to do, this AI trainer is helping me figure out not only what, but also how, how much, how often AND adjusting to my progress already. Having the ability to customize each exercise according to what feels right for my body that day while also sticking to the body part being worked is amazing!!! (This feature is also epic for when someone else is on the machine you want to use, as it will give you alternatives to choose from). The only thing I’m still wrestling to figure out is how to +add an additional workout or exercise outside of the scheduled program I’ve selected. For example. I’m doing a 16 week program and working out according to the schedule 3-times per week on Mon, Wed, Fri. BUT, I also am doing other exercises or activities on Tues, Thur and sat or Sun, but I don’t see how to track those without ‘resetting’ my entire program. Anyway. I’m only two weeks in so maybe I’ll eventually figure it out or find something else that allows me the flexibility I need.

Great app EXCEPT. Honestly, I really love this app and would give it five stars if it were not for one ridiculous bug that should not still exist. The app will not save your workout, your weights, reps, or any information if you choose to do any of your days out of order. For example, I’m resting my knee currently, and wanted to push leg day from day 2 to day 5 to give myself more time to rest. The *only* workout that the app recorded was day 1, because it was the only workout that fell on the day it was “planned” for. Despite hitting day 3 on day 2, 4 on 3, etc., my “progress” tab shows that I have not worked out in days and therefore doesn’t carry over weight/rep info. Lovely, effective, user-friendly app otherwise. I’ve been in SUCH better shape since starting this app. Seriously 5 stars otherwise, but this bug needs attention and my conscience can’t give more than 2.5 while it exists. :(

Good app. Need some 3rd part integration. I really never followed a program in my past, but as I am getting older, my body is not reacting to my old methods. I tried to work out specific muscle grouped each day , Monday chest, Tuesday arms etc, but this seems not to work for me. I decided to buy this app, and so far I love it! Pre set exercises and accountability with the ability to replace specific exercises with similar other options. We all know that sometimes that machine or free weight area is too busy and can’t do that exercise. My only suggestion is to have third party integration. It would be nice to have the workouts sync with apps like MyFitnessPal. It’s difficult and time consuming to add these into other apps to keep track

Worth the money!. Before this app, I was working out off and on for years. I have a good shape and I’ve done well but this app has taken my individual workouts to the next level. I’ve always told people that you can do more if you’re not doing it alone and this app is like a personal trainer by your side (minus the human aspect). It keeps me wanting progress and it keeps me moving forward when I want to give up. My ONLY knock on the app is the calculations it uses when it progresses you. Say you lifted 10 pounds last week on bicep curls. Well this week it would tell you to lift 12.5 pounds. This doesn’t fit most gyms because dumbbells go up in 5 pound increments. If they can fit the correct increments into their calculations the app would have gotten my 5 star :)

Game changing. Here’s the background on me and why I said the app is a real game changer. I have been working out faithfully about a year and have packed on muscle and reduced fat but just haven’t yielded the results I’m looking for. To be honest I had a program I created but I was very lost in the direction I needed to go. This app has been challenging and really taken me out of my comfort zone. I thought my body was conditioned enough to handle the programs fairly easy I was surprisingly mistaken. The first week my body was sore as if I was new to the gym. The science and technology they put In to the app really shows. One of the best features I like would be the exercise swap out giving you several different options that will still work the muscle group you are on. Final words If you where like me working out 5 days a week and not receiving the results your looking for this may be the app for you. I see in the past before using the app I was working the same muscle groups way to frequently and not allowing the muscle heal and grow. Get the app and change your life!

A great app. Use their workouts or create your own and watch videos and demos of how to do the exercise correctly. The only downside - and this is a BIG DOWNSIDE - is that the app design makes it virtually impossible to adjust your own account or see what payment options are. It’s not just hidden - it’s not here. You can’t cancel, change or confirm your account anywhere, it seems. There’s only a “auto renew” option - and this seems incredibly cagey. I actually LOATHE this fact. It seems the makers don’t care whether or not its users want control over their own decisions about paying or subscribing. I would have purchased an entire year - but after the free trial period it was virtually impossible to find that option. I still haven’t found it, even as I write this. Too bad... it’s such a good app.

“Full Body” Is NOT So for Women. It’s been great in helping me stay on track and increase strength by providing benchmarks and offering weight suggestions. Def seeing results in just the 2 weeks I’ve been using it. But only for lower body. There is a LOT of room for improvement for women’s workouts. Maybe that’s in later weeks?!? But I’ve been doing “full-body split” routines and it has almost NOTHING for upper body workouts so far. Maybe ONE upper body thing for 4 lower-body workouts. As a woman, this is super annoying bcz I am willing to bet the men’s version is not this imbalanced. It’s also THE reason I have avoided workout programs in the past. I’ve already bought the 1-yr subscription so I’ll deal with it, but prob not renewing next year, and definitely having to add in a lot of my own things for upper body in the meantime. 😕

Very Detailed. This app has so much detail in it. It allows you pin point exactly which muscles you want to work and gives you different workouts that target that muscle group. Allowing you to build your own workout for the day. It also has workout plans that are structured for you if just getting into working out or just like a pre made structured workout. This contains different types of dieting plans for people looking for certain outcomes. Some of these features are locked behind a pay wall, but there is an option for lifetime access that is only a 1-time fee that is not very expensive at all. I love this app after only a few weeks of use and I will continue to use it as my go-to workout app.

Version 5 Ruined It. I have used this app for many years and have always found it the best fit for workout creation and tracking. My app recently auto updated to version 5 which included a complete redesign. At first I was excited by the new look and hope of new features, but after I dug in a little further, I was very disappointed. All my KD workouts were deleted and I was only given the option to email myself a spreadsheet. After resetting my workout in frustration, I found that many of the basic features that made this app so helpful have been removed. I tried to adapt, but after one workout I was having to use other apps to compensate. I’m uninstalling this app and moving to a new workout app that has all the basic features I used to get here.

Close to being good. This app is good overall but limiting in a couple of important ways: The first is an annoying problem of a small bug that causes the app to either crash or return to the beginning of a workout should I need to skip an exercise and try to come back to it later. The second is a much larger issue of lack of workouts within each program. Most of the programs have one or two (sometimes three or four) days of various activities. This means, for example, after you’ve completed the second day of “Mass Gains option 1” then you either have to repeat the day one activities or find a totally different program. This app would be FANTASTIC if there were more days of workouts within each preset program. Lack of variety creates plateaus and boredom and asymmetric results. Please consider making these changes and I would gladly rate 5 stars

Great app. I have been using this app for several months now and I really enjoy it. I have a degenerative disc disease and have had back surgery as well as a recent ankle surgery so I have some limitations when it comes to certain movements. Previously I had a personal trainer that I saw for years and he really helped me but it got so expensive and I didn’t always want to have to interact with someone while working out. This app was great for me because I knew what exercises were safe for me and I could customize my program to suit my Needs and accommodate my limitations. My only real complaint is that I wish it had more kettlebell movements as options. Other than that I love it.

Just what I needed. I have been using the app for 6 months and it really helped me create a workout routine that I looked forward to doing. There were a couple of things I thought could be better and then the app was updated after a couple of months and they were added. For someone who previously would go to the gym and aimlessly workout this app completely turned things around for me. The videos and descriptions really help with understanding and developing good form. The training blocks have kept the routines from getting stale and the results have been amazing. I feel like I have a personal trainer in my pocket, I think that is what the developers were going for, so well done and thank you!

Amazing app with ONE negative😭. I absolutely love this app! I’m a former college athlete and my whole life I’ve always had workouts made for me. Once I graduated I realized I had no idea how to make my own gym plan and this app solves all of those problems. You can organize it by body part or full body, but it will learn you by counting your reps and your weight every time you work out and then give you recommendations on reps and weight for next time. The only thing I dislike, and it may cause me to switch to another app, is the max number of days you can pick for your plan is 4 days a week. If there was an option for 5, 6 or 7 for those that enjoy working out every day, this app would be PERFECT! Please update!! I love this app and don’t want to find a new one!

One fix and I’d give it five stars. What needs fixed: -sometimes I forget to go back in the app after my cardio and hit the “did it” button which would “finish” my workout. Most apps would just pause your progress and would let you resume the next time you open the app. For some reason this app deletes your workout like it never happened the next time you open the app. This can be incredibly frustrating when I walk in the gym the next day and it’s suggesting that I need to redo the same workout as yesterday. I have resorted to just “finishing” the cardio before I ever start it to prevent myself from having a chance to forget it. Overall, the app is great. But this has happened multiple times. Easy fix would be for me to just remember to finish it out, but sometimes my brain doesn’t work right after some hard cardio lol.

Great Workout App - Initial Impression. I've only used it once so will update my review after more time with it. So far it has been great. I am currently doing P90X and was using the P90X app to track my workouts, body measurements and progress. I loved that app and was very disappointed when Beachbody decided to no longer support it. I continued to use the unsupported version, but none of the tracking features worked any more. I tried the new Beachbody Live subscription, but it was a waste of $ for my needs. I selected this app based on the large number of reviews and the high reviewer ratings. It is great so far. I am able to load my P90X workouts into the app and save them. Most of the equivalent weight lifting exercises are available to add, though you have to use some that are close, but not exactly the same as in P90X (at least that is my "work around." The Cardio options are limited, though. I just use my UA Record App to log these workouts in. A couple of features I wish were available are: 1. Some way to add comments for each exercise 2. I may just not know how to do this yet, but it would be great if you could schedule workouts in a calendar format.

Worked wellAt first. After an update history was lost. The benefit of an app is to track your last weight lifted at a specific rep. After an update all that info was lost for me. I attempted contacted the Fitness22 folks 3 times. No reply. There is no help after you purchase the app. If you workout overseas where there may be free weights in kilos and machines in lbs, you can’t change units after starting an app. If there is a way I have no been contacted to show me how it’s done nor can I find the tutorial to do so. That means you will need to buy a conversion app and allow for more time in the gym converting units. I would say that can add 20 minutes to a daily workout easily when the app remembers your last rep weight. Since my last rep info is not available, only the max weight, I have to guess what my last weeks weight was. So tack on and extra 25 min for a workout. If the app maker contacts me back I will rewrite with an honest review.

Hands Down I Would Be Lost At The Gym Without This App. This app is awesome and sets you up for success at the gym. I would be completely lost and look like an idiot at the gym if I didn’t have this app. It creates a workout plan, shows you how to do the exercises, tracks your sets, reps and weight, body measurements and is 100 percent customizable to fit your needs. You can add or remove exercises to your workout routine all by selecting the section of the body you want to workout. It gives you a list with pictures of the exercises that work the specific muscles group you selected. Well worth the money to have the premium. I would have quit the gym after a week if not for having this app. It removes all the guesswork from the gym so you can focus on fitness.

Decent but needs work. Overall pretty good, the problem I have with this app relate to some quality of life stuff, interface improvements, and exercise rigidity. - During the app-generated trainer workouts, when you try to change exercises mid workout, like if you didn’t like/don’t know how to do the auto-selected exercise, the app will give you only a narrow range of options, instead of all the potential exercises available for that muscle group - App contains outdated/risky workouts like EZ Bar Upright Rows, which degrade your shoulder joints - The app interface is somewhat clunky, and I wish you could look around the app during a workout instead of being locked into the workout and having to quit the workout entirely just to look at other exercises

Worth the upgrade. I’ve been into fitness my whole life. I’m getting older and recognize the research and huge Benifits behind the importance of maintaining muscular strength and bone mass as we age. This app has been a huge motivation for me because it’s like having a personal trainer guide me along my efforts and results. If you stay honest with the app, the suggestions provided in the upgrade will get you where you want to be. You can tailor the workout and change exercises to tweak those that my cause issues with previous injury’s. I love the variety in the workouts and the timer between sets to keep me from slacking. Trust me, you will see results if you stick to your program.
