Videos do not play. For some reason I’ve downloaded and redownloaded the app multiple times and the videos do not seem to work on my phone at all.

Great app. I used this app to prepare to go in 2016. With the new update, any prospective Ranger student would be hindering themselves by not having this app. It is one spot where everything taught in the course can be found in a streamlined setting. Very helpful for anyone interested in attending or serving in a combat arms unit.

RTTs. Went 7/7 on RTTs simply by watching these videos. Never even had hands on experience.

Meh. Great content, but it does not format to my iPhone XR, I have to close the app completely if I want to go back to the Home Screen.

Good base line for school. Like the title says this app is a good base line. It could use an update but I’m sure the RIs that put this together are well detached from the school house now. Claymore is now non-electric initiation for an example. But none the less it’s a well built app. Controls for navigation of the app need fixing would be a good update as well. RLTW.

Totally worth it!. This app everything I wanted while I’m preparing for Ranger School! It’s extremely easy to navigate through the different sections and goes into extreme detail. 10/10.

Buggy, but. It seems buggy, but mess around with it and it works. Ringer has to be on for the videos' audio to play. Back button doesn't work past one backwards, but just work around that by using the left-hand menu. Simple stuff to work around, content is there.

Needs Updated for newer Phones. The content of this app is fantastic. This worked well with my older phone. When I got an XR, things got complicated. The sound doesn’t work in many of the videos and the links don’t always work. You can see the “back” arrow, but it doesn’t always work. The app will also freeze and you have to kill it. I would like to see this update so I can use this app as a tool to study and teach.

Ok App. Great content. Needs to have bugs fixed for iPhone 11. I can’t hear the audio for the videos. But the content seems to be consistent with the Ranger Handbook. Also have to exit the app to go to other portions because the screen is cut off at the top. Once fixed I will give an updated review. Until then if you have an iPhone 11 don’t waste your money.

Sound doesn’t work. This is a great app, however it likes to crash, and the sound for the 20 boards don’t work. Please update.

Helpful but not working. The app is extremely helpful...when it works. Most of the time when i press a video to play the screen just turns black and nothing plays. Closing the app several times and resetting phone does not fix the issue either. I wish this app would work so i can prepare for ranger school since im going in a few days.

Sound does not work on any videos. This app has good quality information and definitely teaches you what you need to learn about RTTs, R20 boards, knots, and some extra tips; however, the volume doesn't work on any of the videos so I have to teach myself through just visual learning...it’s upsetting that a $7 app has this issue. I even contacted the support over a month ago but no response or solutions..

Videos don’t work. I’m using high speed WiFi and also switch to lowest quality of the video but still don’t work. I see the video loads completely but it doesn’t play

Sound doesn’t work. This app was recommended to me by a couple people so I bought it but the sound does not play in the videos. Running an iPhone 11 Pro.

No Audi for videos. None of the video has sounds. Could you please check it? Only this App has problem with playing sounds.

Doesn’t work. Waste of money, videos refuse to load and no sound is heard. You’re better off just downloading a pdf of the ranger handbook somewhere online and studying that.

Whether you are preparing for Ranger School or seeking an instructional aid to teach your junior Soldiers, this app has a lot to offer. The best part of all is it’s portability and accessibility. Please fix audio on videos. Great content but the audio does not work on the videos. I have tried uninstalling the app and numerous other solutions with no results.

The videos?. This app looks like it had excellent content, but none of the videos work. What is up with the videos not working?

Good Info, poor performance. The app has good info for Ranger, however, the videos and app constantly crash. The claymore video is outdated as well. They no longer use the M57 firing device at RAP.

Faulty. The app is faulty and you can’t swipe the menu away after you select what you want to read. Needs to be fixed

An exceptional tool for all Soldiers. This app basically allows all soldiers to get a firm understanding on the tasks not only required in ranger school but as an infantryman as well. The ease of the new interface makes navigation exceptionally easy and allows fast and accurate data readily available. Outstanding Product!!!

Try turning ring/silent switch to “ring” if audio isn’t working. Outstanding app. As I mentioned in the title, try turning your phone off mute if the audio doesn’t seem to be working. That seems to be what the majority of the negative reviews are about.

Doesn’t work.. The app has a ton of information and videos. However, the videos don’t load AT ALL and I have excellent connection. No excuse for them not to work it’s just an in-app function that doesn’t work. Can’t even get a refund.

Update. I just wanted to say how organized the new update is!!! It has a better layout and navigating the app is straightforward! Thanks for taking the time to revamp the app.

Major Potential. It’s a good app for training when it works. Very glitchy and can not hear sound when playing videos. It would be a great app if it worked properly.

None of the Videos for RTTs work. BLUF: the app has not been updated in over a year, the videos don't work. Some things that i can access are outdated. Go buy yourself a 6 pack or a burrito for 7dollars.

Audio Issue. Purchased the app. None of the videos have audio.

Sound doesn’t work, seems like a good idea of an app. The app is a little clunky in design, the menus don’t always work and sometimes I have to completely close the app to get to the home screen. The sound on the videos doesn’t seem to work—tested my volume in other apps and they worked—uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still no sound. Lots of good information but I can’t get to it all without the videos. **update: the menus don’t work when holding my phone in portrait, but I discovered landscape makes it possible. Hopefully, the update fixes the spacing in portrait. Sound works when my phone ringer is not on silent, that just means adapting to all the noise interruptions from messages. Now that I found a way to get the menus to work, it’s a much better experience.**

Great info, no sound on videos.. This has been a great app for me in the past for giving classes to my joes, but now none of the videos have sound.

Great app. Poor grammar. Love the app. Great resource if you’re interested in trying out for Ranger School. However, the RTT practice quiz was pretty funny because whoever wrote it seemed like they were drunk. The grammar and spelling was all over the place.

Better then I thought. At first I was extremely frustrated because the sound didn’t work. Make sure you have your ringer turned on on the side of your phone and the sound will work. Some of the information from my understanding is a little outdated but I don’t know much about the new stuff. RLTW 🇺🇸

GET IT!. I have encountered no technical errors or bugs either with the app, it works perfectly for me. I just got in minutes ago and can tell you there are hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours worth of content. Do yourself a favor... Buy it.

Sound doesn’t work. This a great app to get prepared and have a basic understanding of what taught at ranger school. My biggest complaint is the sound doesn’t work on any of the videos, for a app that cost $5 this a huge problem for visual learners. For those who can grasp a understanding for what is app does just simple look up the Ranger instructor Narrative on google and the 20 board as well as the scrip RI’s remember is all there overall I don’t think it’s worth the $5 for the technical issue this app has

Great app/Needs update. Great app and I would recommend to everyone for not only attending ranger school, but for general knowledge. However, it is hella out dated. Y’all are getting paid enough per purchase of the app to simply make new videos of the current requirements from ranger school.

Great info, video audio doesn’t work unless ringer is off silent. Unable to get the videos to have audio on iPhone XR without turning the ringer off silent, very strange bug. You also have to constantly swap between portrait and landscape to go between pages. Otherwise the info is amazing

For people that want that ranger tap!!!. I got me this app couple days ago , I did learn really good stuff in just 4 days , I love the app so far. I had a hard time trying to open the videos on my iPhone 8 so had to email their customer service and they work with in a very professional way . They help me to fix my problem in less than a hour and they even offer to send me a link where I could see the videos on internet if my problems happen to continue. They price is really good , I mean let’s be honest just the ranger hand book is $10 , they are giving you the book , tips and videos of everything. Really hope one day come back an share with u that I got my tap thanks to this App.

Back button doesn’t work. Great app but can we get an update so it will work on iPhone 11? The back button doesn’t work and it is way at the top of the screen. Only way to go back to previous menu is through closing and reopening the app.

Nothing Works. This app has great material...if it worked. Not a single video or bit of information will actually play in the app. Completely out of date and 100% useless.

Great product and loads of info. Everything you need to know before you head over to Camp Rogers. There are so many ways of having the information, simple to use. I used the old app before and it was ok, this updated version is way better. If you’re trying to get better at the basics or are a few months away from heading to school, you are wasting your time and money by not having this

Great content, marginal functionality. Good info, great videos to get a baseline understanding. I would recommend to anyone needing to obtain this information in conjunction with reading the Ranger handbook. For non infantry types this is a great resource. I have an iPhone11 base model and the “menu” and “back” function do not work located at the top of the screen. This is due to the function buttons being cut off at the top of the screen and not in a location of the screen that is selectable. I have to close the app every time I want to explore a different section of it.

Great idea and concept. The issue I'm having with it is the app stalls while open, causing me to force restart to get back to the main screen. In certain menus, it freezes and I can't click anything, again causing me to force restart?!? Help?

Fix the videos. Half of the videos have absolutely no sound

Worth It!. For the amount of money you pay, you get a plethora of information and videos handed to you. This is a win. Many of my Ranger qualified buddies took a look at this app and wished they had the videos before they left to Ranger. Grateful to the creators of this app for giving access to classes from actual RI's!

This is what I've been looking for!. I am an infantry platoon sergeant and I wanted to find an app so I can tell my soldiers to study while they are waiting around. This is a great purchase because Ranger school is the proponent for standards and discipline. Great job upper tier development!

No volume. Great app but I have NO audio

Easy to use and great learning tool. This application is very informative and easy to use, i would recommend it to anyone that is looking to better themselves as a soldier and/or leader. It is definitely worth the price for the amount of knowledge you will gain from it.

Excellent customer service. Not only is this an extremely informative app but the customer service is top notch. I emailed them about a question and within 5 minutes I had an answer and it was detailed and informative. They go above and beyond and I can tell they take pride in this app and aren’t just in it for a few bucks. Thank you and if your timid about paying the $6.... DO IT, IT’S WORTH IT!!!

Good but can improve. By far the best app I've seen with ranger school classes actually given to you by instructors. Would be nice to see Florida phase unlocked and my biggest problem with this app is the content does not download to my phone. Essentially if you do not have a good cell reception or watching how much data you use, you get screwed watching the 40 minute videos as they load.

The Future of individual preparation.. This is a great app for future & current Soldiers-not just future Ranger qualified ones! With over a couple of years worth of experience leading Soldiers in combat, in some of the toughest & most unforgiving terrain in Afghanistan, I can tell you that the lessons taught in this training aide are a Requirement for success. This app will not only greatly improve your ability to be successful in Ranger School, but more importantly in an Infantry Rifle Company & in the real Crucible of ground combat. Mastery of lessons in this app is a requirement of being a successful tactical leader in today's complex & ambiguous battlefield. The Ranger Tactical Task are taught straight from the source to the exact standard you will face in Ranger School! The fact is not all NCO's & fellow Soldiers are Subject Matter Experts in all the classes & knowledge needed today. Why lower your chances of success with their interpretation of standards (which can very greatly) when you can get it from those who are the Subject Matter Experts? I highly recommend this app for all Soldiers concerned with having a ground breaking training aide for teaching Soldiers the standards that save lives & make the difference between achieving mission success or failure on the battlefield. Don't PCS to RTB or fail Ranger School because you didn't spend a few bucks. Master the needed lessons that will be your hedge against failure.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. There's no information in this app. All the 5 star reviews are fake, don't waste your money. The app wouldn't let me post a 1 star so I had to give it 5 to get this out there.

Video sound doesn't work. The information given is great and breakdowns ranger tasks step by step. However, if the purpose of this app is to bring the classes to the ranger then the app fails miserably as none of the videos have sound. A temporary workaround could be subtitles

Everything you need. Clearly trumps the ranger handbook and gets straight to the point. Actual color coded 20 boards and from what I have heard is the exact same thing in ranger school...

Vast knowledge, user friendly. If you're wanting quick accessibility to a vast amount of knowledge regarding ranger school, this is the app to get. This app covers the material you'll need for every phase of the school. The video guides are professionally made; you can tell the instructors know what they're talking about. There's also a quiz section, a FAQ section (with a FB support page that has past RI's and those that have successfully gone through the course). The app is very easy to navigate. There is also pdf access to every FM, TM, and ADRP one could need for the course. If you're attending this course soon and need an in depth insight into what to expect, or even if you have no plans in the immediate future to go, this app will instill the knowledge and confidence you'll need to get through the course.

Horrible. Unfinished product ... Has no sound and almost all videos are not even made yet.. Don't have people pay for a unfinished product!!!

Plagued with bugs. I am forced to exit the app and reopen it nearly every time I attempt to navigate through phases. Constant freezes and stalls. It’s been 3 years since the arrival of this app and Florida phase is still nonexistent.

Vast knowledge on many phases of school. For the price, it's an excellent investment. With links to videos and resources to information regarding reporting information, preparing for rap week, packing lists, this app sets you up for success. The developers are excellent at responding to questions and are very professional. Be sure to also follow them on Facebook.

Remarkable app.. I just purchased this app so I could train my soldiers to go to Ranger school after reviewing the app there is countless hours of information not on the on video but on the drop-down's and the slide bar on the bottom. The review before said that the sound didn't work and it didn't work and an iPad and this was confusing because it works remarkably on every platform that I've tried it on on all iOS devices. I will have to say that it is kind of confusing at first if your ringer is on silent the videos won't play sound so just make sure that you taught all the silent back to normal mode

Needs Developement. Super great info, however it only works on my phone and not IPad and the sound on all of the videos only works with head phones in. This app will be awesome one day.... But that is not this day.

Great app for ranger school. This is an amazing app! I tried to go online and find something like this and it's all out dated. This app is current and with all the right information you need to pass ranger school. The fact that it was made by RI (Ranger Instructors) is awesome. I would recommend this app to anyone!

This app is phenomenal.. The app is well designed and well put together. It clearly lays out everything you need to succeed in Ranger school. It also had quite a bit of information that any everyday civilian would find useful.

Ranger school pro 👍🏻. Great app! It's not complicated, any MOS would find this relevant. It also includes lots of tips for preparing for school, things you probably wouldn't find just by googling it. Love the videos because they are by actual RI's so you know you are getting the right info.

Valuable resource. Just graduated and I'm sure that studying this app prior increased my chances of success and reduced the amount of time I had to spend there. If used properly, this app will provide you with the answers to the test before you even report. Customer service is also extremely responsive and helpful. Thanks for the app!

Worth every dime 💯. Amazing app that has a wealth of knowledge. Everything from battle drills to knots. I like how I can sit back and watch a video instead of reading, though all the publications are also within the app to reference. If you are an infantryman you need to get this app. Perfect for hip-pocket training. Please make more apps!

Great reference tool for ranger school preperation. Was looking for something to help me prepare for ranger school. Was amazed with all the tools included with this app, and I am anticipating the additions coming soon!

I wished I had this app before my school!. All I can say is that I really wished I had this app before going to Ranger school myself. Especially the knots, because I almost recycled the knots. I am out of the army now, but I purchased the app to learn again the knots. They say that you can't really use Ranger school in the civilian world, but the knots definitely come handy quite often. I checked out the other videos and they are really good. It would have been so nice to watch the videos before going to Ranger school without struggling to stay awake. Awesome job on the app 14 years too late for me. I would suggest adding a section on how to survive Ranger school. For example if someone had told me to remove heel cups from my boats it would have saved my feet.

Not just for Ranger students. I'm a Ranger qualified NCO and I got the app to use as a training aide to train my junior Soldiers on skill level 1 tasks and to prepare my more squared away ones to go through Ranger School. Even if you don't plan on attending Ranger School, if you're an infantry officer or NCO the classes on this app will help you better train your Soldiers on infantry tactics. If you do plan on attending Ranger School, understand that Ranger Instructors created this app and the information shown on the app is what RIs are looking for when students come through. Additionally, the app allows you to ask RIs difficult questions directly instead of getting second or third hand information from someone in your unit or by guessing. I'd recommend this app to anyone planning on attend Ranger School or anyone who simply wants a better understanding of infantry tactics and skill level 1 tasks.

RTT not to standard. If you follow the RTT instruction in this app for 249 and claymore, you will get a no go. This app is not up to date to the 2017 ranger handbook standard for any of its instruction. This app is supposed to teach the standard for a course where meeting the standard is everything. I wouldn’t put my trust into this app.

No sound and no customer support. None of the videos play sound. I tried to contact the app and the messages and emails do not work. This app is hot garbage and customer service is on par with the app.

How Military Prep Should Be. If you are serious about preparing for Ranger School then you should download this app. It has the things you need to help you prepare. Help ensure your success by doing everything you can to prepare. There is also a section of tips from last Ranger students I thought was great. I wish more Military apps were like this one, can't wait to see what's next from these guys! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
