Very poor UI/UX etc. I truly don’t know how this app got featured by Apple. I’m not one to come on and give a bad review to anyone but as I tried to use the app tonight I found myself wanting to toss my iPad out the window. The UI and UX is just very poorly done. Not only is it designed poorly, but it barely functions. The UI has huge lag times which shows how poorly optimized/under developed it is because an M2 iPad Pro has no problem churning through complex 3D models. Even without a anything on the canvas the UI barely works. Very poor UI performance. There are so many clunky things in the UI going on that just make the experience super cumbersome and not enjoyable at all. This apps needs a total redesign and ground up rethink on top of needing major optimization work. Creators would love to have access to 3D models on on iPad Pro for video content, and they’d love to make their own cad style models to render out, but this app just doesn’t do anything well.

Kills my iPad Mini 2. I was loving this app as it has so much potential and I know I could really benefit from it in many areas but unfortunately it diminishes my battery life very quickly and that’s even when I have only this app running and nothing in the background also it lags terribly bad and crashes on me after a few extrudes or free hand shapes which is pretty bad if I can’t even do that. I was interested in going pro but if I can’t even get through the free version then I see no sense in wasting my time, effort or money. Perhaps it’s just my iPad since my iOS is up to date ect. I would really like to use this app for my own work since I’ve seen some pretty amazing stuff come out of it in the community creations gallery and from tutorials. I’ve been following and doing the tuts which didn’t seem to give me much of an issue but when I go to create my own thing it does sadly.

Ignore the trolls. This app is great for what it does and those who don’t know or understand are the ones who tend to leave the 1 star reviews. Yes it is a subscription, but so are all the other apps of this type (eg Shapr 3D which is MORE expensive). This app does offer a one time purchase, it may not be cheap, but you have the option of buying instead of renting. It doesn’t come with the extra goodies though, but you have a choice). I’ve been using this app for over three years and it has come a long way in that time. The developers listen and there is a forum for help. So instead of leaving negative reviews, take the time to check out the forums, ask for help. And then if you must, leave some constructive feedback (whether it is positive or negative). Thank you

Why advertise it as free?. This app looked incredibly helpful since I plan on studying interior design. I completely understand charging for this software, but why make it free to install? I don’t know if it was bugged, but I wasn’t able to use any „free“ models which was very frustrating. Every time I hit anything it would shove the free trial in my face. Super annoying.

Not Really a 3D Modeling App. This is just a toy to let you make "canned" models. I see why so many reviewers are confused with how to model, thinking it’s because they don’t have experience with modeling. That’s not the problem. Real modeling apps don’t work like this. This is fine as a kid’s toy and if you’re willing to spend a lot of money for a subscription, but like other reviewers have said, just get Blender for the PC or Mac for free. Blender is easy and awesome; professional grade. Also, the developer’s justification for needing to sign up seems bogus; there are plenty of professional, pay-once apps with good tech support that don’t require sign-up

So bad could have been great.. Normally I’d just delete the app and move on but I’d be left with a guilty conscious if I didn’t warn other folks. If you do the trial, be warned it will try and bop your bank for a full year. Try Gravity Sketch or Onshape. Why this app stinks to the stratosphere, the pricing. That’s it. Having used this app numerous times since its release, I can confidently say it’s nothing special and not worth more than a one time charge of $4.99.

Stunning app, but beyond my homeowner skill set. I see the wonderful things possible with this product, but I am not the target audience. I think I got out over my skis on this one :) I received quick and thorough response from developer when I emailed them. Great company and great product! Thanks!

Dissatisfied beyond belief. Downloaded this to see how I liked it compared to nomad, it’s missing all types of functionality you need to sketch, like changing the pen size or color. It doesn’t have different modes needed to create like in the how to videos. Waste of time. I’ll be deleting this. A trial for a $95 product should probably include all the features so people know what they are paying for and can get a feel for the software.

A CLEARER UI WOULD BE GREAT. Ive only tried out the app for a few hours. Honestly no complaints more of a suggestion. I found it pretty annoying to draw in 3D because there isn’t a sense of placement. Like, I’d draw a line connecting two squares together in 3D space, but when I rotate the camera, the line I drew was no where near where I wanted it. Ive had this program for a while now, ive just been waiting for a specific update to try it out some more. -axis snapping in google SketchUp, blender, basically any 3D modeling software, the lines glow different colors when your line is on an axis. X=red Y=green Z=blue something like this. Find a way to implement a similar feature and it’ll help out tons. -improve snapping in 3D. If I want to connect lines in 3D space, there should be a way of knowing that it snapped connected/snapped to a line. Visual or audio cue. Doesn’t matter which one as long as there a response from the action. Thank you guys for all your hard work. Much appreciated.

Managing partner Venture Solutions LLC. I have been using uMake sense it’s early conception and have enjoyed every minute of itI spend a significant amount of time discussing aerodynamics/fluid dynamics. One of my passions is concept and design. This program allows me to take my ideas and turn them into concept drawings. I want to partner with umake. This is a brilliant ap

Wow!!. After searching for an app that would work with my industry for 6 months, I finally found the app I’ve needed this whole time!!! I did find it late after purchasing everything I needed to design by hand, but I am going to give it a shot after I master the pencil and paper first!

Great idea, however…. So it appears that I’m unable to use literally any item without having to pay. I do not have the money for this at the moment, and even if I did; I don’t know if I like the app because it won’t let me use anything. The items I’m tapping on say “Free” but it doesn’t matter if I tap and hold, tap once, twice, whatever. It just keeps showing me the subscription tab. I’m sure it’s just a bug, but in the meantime, I don’t want to pay for something that I don’t know if i’ll like or not. I’m sure it’s just a bug though, not sure.

I have to pay to get more stuff??. So I have been playing for like 3 minutes and I’m like I want to create but I can’t do that because I have to pay and it’s dumb and stupid I was gunna use this for my tiktok but i can’t bc it’s hard just why do I have to pay is dum and stupid-_- I hate a lot don’t buy it just don’t pls its hard pls make it free for the other stuff pls this is dum ok I just i just hate it a lot so fix this >:(

No iPhone compatibility. There’s no point in making it compatible for an iPhone if it’s utterly useless and is only for observatory purposes. Anyone who downloads the app has to be using a tablet that allows the software to work anyway so even making it compatible for the iPhone is a waste of time and is misleading because it is not previously specified that you aren’t able to actually use the program with a phone. Had an iPad in school and I loved using it for artwork then but I am not in school anymore nor do I have an iPad and therefore have no way of using the app

Good Customer Service. I had a mistake happen, where I was charged $65 for a yearly sub. I reached out and got a response very quickly, and they were able to help me get a refund through Apple. As for the app... I can’t say much, I barely used it. It is complex for use on a phone. I expect it works on iPad— I think this phone app is more of a “viewer” for models. But I doubt anyone puts in the effort to actually model anything on mobile.

Not for 3D Printing!. If you just want to create a 3D model for viewing, this is great! BUT, if you plan on printing your creation on a 3D printer, forget it! You are much better off using Blender or Fusion360 for that on a PC/Mac computer/tablet! I had created a 3D model and after hours of modeling my creation, I find that it has all sorts of printing errors that I cannot fix or is way over my head to fix! Well, it was fun while it lasted to think this was going to work! Back to Fusion360! :(

People Can Make Unlimited One-Time Purchases. But there are a finite number of monthly bills one can pay, and people usually incur those bills in the order that they encounter them. Once they're full, they're pretty much full, and they scale way back on incurring more bills. The software industry is some 30 years old now, and subscriptions are a relatively new thing. We know the industry can survive, and indeed thrive without them, although the App Store paradigm where everything sells at at 30% discount confounds the issue somewhat. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of subscription software. We all try to justify it's necessity, but at the end of the day, we know it's a gimmick that's going to decline as soon as the next recession hits. That's my take on the business model. The software itself, however, is excellent. If you are not averse to subscriptions, this is a good candidate for it, as the software is high-quality and the support is very good too. And that's what I'm rating. The program itself, not the business model, which can always change. Nice job bringing CAD to the masses.

Nice failed concept. A powerful app that won’t help you achieve anything, great interface but bad user experience in viewport, cad drawing looks okay but it’s to difficult to snap vertex together so cad drawing for architecture a complete no go, you have to be careful while drawing in ortho view because the snapping function won’t work as intended. The renderings you see in the product presentation look great but a lie, why render with this engine while you can model and render in other apps with less effort and better PBR TEXTURE QUALITY. The interface it’s pretty. But the developer could do better. also at that pricing tier you can get better cad drawing apps, the default models are just a joke and the pro ones are okay. With that much potential, reach and awards i was too hyped just to get disappointed in the first 3 hours of use. Many powerful apple devices out there and to low quality apps to design.

Horrible "new user experience" and constant nags to create accounts. Rather than letting me explore the app to see if it does what I need, it's NUI (new user experience) is unskippable. Plus the app keeps popping up "create an account" crap all over the place. Why would you think I want to make an account after how much noise, frustration, and begging are introduced in just 3 minutes of using the app the first time?

Great app but...LAG. I am running this app on the 2017 iPad but I'm still having performance issues! What keeps happening is that my iPad CAN handle the polygons being rendered but the issue is when I go into 3-D flyover mode it has to load back in a bunch of shadows. That really bogs down my iPad and I have to wait a few seconds before I can do anything, and that's with small things! So maybe if you make it so that the shadows either or there, or they don't have to be loaded and unloaded constantly it would give the app better performance! Please reply.

Why do apps do this. Please if all of your features are all pay walled beside the measuring feature just label your app as costing money. I’m a broke college student that just needed a in app sandbox so I could reference for buildings and people, I’m not going to spend 90 dollars on something that I literally can do on gmod, I just wanted a app that was the same thing. If you want to spend your money on a good 3D sculpting app just use blender.

It's so creative. I like uMake a lot but I don't like that it take a lot time for you to learn it if you ware a beginner and this is not a harped comment or region but this is my opinion that if you can change it to easy and what I like about it that it's so good for iPad and every app like this is not a good quality like that

This thing is $400 bucks.. This thing is $400 bucks to own this…$400… I remember when I first had this, it was free to mess around. Now you cant do a single thing without paying for it. Its now all locked behind a paywall. And the price to get into it is so steep to buy, but if you want to subscribe, your work is only your own, if you continue to pay Umake to have it. Make umake under 100 to own it, and you will see more people use it.

Terrible app full of bugs. Dont want to go through all of them, but new one i got right now beats em all - was working on a project for couple of hours then suddenly got zoomed out lightyears away( like i cant see my project at all). Tried to zoom in through the white emptiness till i carefully aproach my objects but then any camera rotation would warp me back to initial state - when location of my model is indicated by a tiny circle and have to zoom in again. Just to repeat the sequence again. Yeah and its constantly crashing too.

No cap the best app but.... 1. For those that don’t pay ur barely can’t really make anything on the payed subscription side you have access to ever tool and can make stuff compared to those that don’t pay with subscription They can’t make anything really... Example: you made a app that you do high quality animation and you can make unlimited animations and have a good amount of tools to work with to do those animations Scene the person loves doing animation with on the free version then he will mostly likely will go on the subscription service because. On no payed he enjoyed the tools he had to work with and made animations and then pays for subscription because he or she loves the app Now applying to here you must at least give the person something to work with so they can decide weather or not the app is suiting for him or her or even can do anything with it But on here you have non of that so if you can’t get anyone to at least experience a bit of taste of this app with a bit of tools and stuff then they would love this app. Now all that out of the way, this is a very high quality app and gives you creatively control in what u want to create I would personally recommend this but please take this in consideration

I use it all the time. I tested all of the 3D modeling apps for iPad (except for Shapr 3D because I don't have an Apple Pencil) and uMake is the one that I stuck with. Previously, I had learned some 3D modeling in SketchUp. I had to learn some different ways of thinking about things, and there are some limitations, but I wanted to do my designing on my iPad so bad that I figured out how to make what I wanted to make. Now I am exporting my designs to use in other ways and it's very cool.

Are you kidding me. I downloaded this hoping that I could actually use it to make my own designs to basically teach myself how a CAD works so I could get myself a bit ahead of the curve in the Technical Drawing class I have in my next semester but lo and behold: this app is completely useless on my iPhone 6s+ I might change my opinion when you make it useable for those of us who only have a phone and can’t afford to go and buy another device.

Went from free to paid exorbitantly expensive. I was using this software for a couple of years and then it changed to this exceedingly expensive subscription model. So now all my stuff is gone and it’s no longer an option. All that time learning and practicing for nothing. When developers change things on you like this, they lose all respect. I won’t even ever attempt to use any of their products, because they cannot be trusted. Not cool.

Great app. At first, I was hesitant to download this app because there were a fair amount of negative reviews but after actually reading those bad reviews, it turns out that people just don’t understand how technology works. You want to run an app that’s going to use a fair amount of processing power on an iPad from 2014??? Or on an iPhone 6+ in 2020??? It’s safe to assume these reviewers don’t believe in upgrading equipment until it completely dies. These apps are designed for the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. It works great if you use the proper tools for the job.

Can’t even use it without being forced to pay for it. So I downloaded this saying great this is prefect for what I’m needing to do, once opting it it makes u do a tutorial as soon u start a new project once completed your go to lick any of the other tools besides rotate and u get the please subscribe, so you are not even allowed to make anything unless u pay for it! I didn’t even get a chance to do anything the only thing I was allowed to do was rotate my screen everything else was lock

expensive for what it offers. you can’t really do anything much for free, other than sign up for their trial period. i suppose if you really wanted what this app offers than it might be worth it, but i would look at other options first (especially on desktop, if you can). it’s hard to give a good rating when you literally can’t click anything without a pop up begging you to pay. it’d be great if they made things a bit more accessible to customers who haven’t payed before roping them into a trial. i’d be willing to watch an ad to get temporary access to an asset or use items but not be able to save the project. kind of sick of the all or nothing technique apps seem to be using these days.

Yet another app with a subscription model.. Free mode doesn’t let you really do anything but look at a smattering of demo models, and you have to pay for a subscription to actually do anything with this. 2 stars for at least having an option to buy it (even though it’s a mortifying $400) unlike most apps of this ilk, but like, come on. Don’t waste my time.

The age rating is off by about 10 years!. This app is very disappointing in my opinion! When I first saw it I saw that it was marked 4+ so I ultimately thought it was free and had NO in-app purchases, I also saw that it had high reviews so I was really excited! Not to mention that it STATES NOTHING about in-app purchases in the description. Another note it’s not just that it cost to actually draw in the app at all it’s the fact that it cost $100 A YEAR! The fact that this app os rated 4+ is very wrong because no parent would want to pay $100 a year just for their child to draw and to get the unlimited version is $400 which is VERY unrealistic! So to the developers I am very disappointed in your app and hope that you lower the overly expensive prices!

Need to improve the import limitation. It’s not for someone who want to use this app as a 3d model viewer. I know know why you have a limitation for the 3d model import. 25 M is a very limited even for a small interior model. I have to use the sketchup viewer. I like the interface and modeling capability of this app but it can be more professional in terms of architecture modeling. Thanks

Pls read developers. I have a few questions 1:so u downloaded uMake now you are in uMake and thinking about all the cool stuff you can make but the most scary thing appears the subscription list bop bop I’m broke so I press the x then I press new project I watch the too tutorials and boom I’m in in uMake now I try to dram my shape and nothing happens we’ll now that I see I only have one question

App refresh needed to keep up. Purchased it about a year ago. Haven’t been actively using it due to the many quirks that needs some getting used to to be able to navigate around compared to others. Trying hard to make it a go to App for iPad. Hopefully a refresh could help breath some new life and new user experience.

Seems okay but Some Downs,. At first it seems Great and all but, You have to pay actual money, That just didnt work for me. My family is saving money until im 12 but im 8 Right now by January 1st 224th I'll stop saving. Its hard to go through, But i have to. It seems like a scam when you download a free app but it has In-App Purchases, I Think if you can make the App Free for everybody without using a single Penny, I would appreciate and use the app plenty more, I have an IOS 12 Ipad, But i lost my pen. So can you guys fit in a feature to accept finger Artwork? If you can fit in those little problems into a perfect bowl. Than i dont have to wait until im 15 or 16 to get another ipad and buy the Using App thingy, So please add these features to include saving money artists, They might also feel a little scammed like me, Thanks alot, -Navi

Not worth the money. Thought-to-paper flows better with freehand drawing. The app developer fails to realize that not everybody who wish to use this app is going design something that will make them millions. Some people just want to experiment while some people just want to learn how to 3D. After you learn then you have to pay the subscription fee for the rest of your life. If you stop then you got no app. If you keep paying then other developers might starting rental fee for their app. Is it really practical to pay rental fee for all your app? I can bet the developer of this app didn’t pay rental fee for apps when they were growing up. What if apple was to take away the “right to own” from all their computers and instead we had to pay rental fee. Will all this even be possible? Stop the greed!

From what I can see. While I cannot use the app because I don’t have a way of paying for the subscription the educational video explaining how to use it explained a lot in perfect detail and it seemed relatively easy to use! I’ve attempted to use a couple of similar programs with no success but this one looks like it will be easy and fun to use as soon as I can! It features many ways to create your models and from the looks of it many more to come! The fact that they have tips that will help you mid way and such is great made better by the fact that you can choose to turn them off as well. All in all it looks amazing from what I can see!

Good app but won’t let me draw.. So I downloaded this app because i wanted to make 3D models, I went through the tutorial and stuff, then when I went to try it out it would not let me sketch? I pressed the pen key and tried it out again and it wouldn’t let me draw? I don’t know if it’s you have to have the subscription or something but if not can you pls help me, because I really want to 3D draw but I won’t let me.

Awesome Stuff. I’ve been working with UMake for several years and it’s progressed from a great tool to an awesome tool, so much more content than just even one year ago. Highly recommend it.

yes more!. Since the last review i’ve posted i’ve seen some useful and important updates to the app, I hope to continue to see that. Allow me to provide a suggestion, PLEASE focus on iCloud sync, AND allow for slicing models for 3D printing, I’ve had to make the switch to Shapr3D because my models made in uMake aren’t solid models so they wont print when I export the stl files to my printer and I need to know whether my designs print correctly or not before selling them. If your primary use for this app will be for printing, then I recommend Shapr3D, they have an export option for 3D printers, I've finally successfully printed a model I designed, with Shapr3D. It’s very aesthetically similar to uMake but has significantly more features (while at the same time lacking some that uMake has) than uMake. Just don’t get too excited their app is only a step up (maybe, depending who you ask). For example, on Shapr3D you can’t easily change the dimensions of a design, scaling it up or down is annoying especially cuz it’s not intuitive to invoke the pop up for the dimensions to type it in. I look forward to seeing what the devs take from this and where they intend to take the app going forward, I do appreciate the frequency of updates.

It's a great start... even for me who couldn't really use it... I have to say, even though everything is expensive, and I, a teen, who just wants to play around with digital clay, really enjoyed the videos, and from what I watched, this is a really high quality app! I am a tad bummed that I can't exactly afford this, but I'm thankful that the ones who can are able to enjoy this app! I hope some day, maybe when I'm older, I might be able to use this app to it's full potential!

Excellent customer service. I am changing my one star to five stars because for the simple and uncommon customer service the folks at uMake provided me. To say I am an amateur when it comes 3D modeling would insult true amateurs. However, I am fascinated and curious about it. There were some issues but uMake helped make it right and for that, they are tops in my book. Now, if I can just figure out how the app works, it’ll be even better!

Potential but frustrating. My objects keep getting assigned to the wrong layer or partway in several layers, I try fixing it and sometimes it works for a bit, but almost always gets messed up again. This is basically making using this app so frustrating I want to delete it, but it has so much potential...

I can’t with this app. I have tried to get into the app plenty of times considering I have an iPad mini 4 that is pretty new, the problem is when I get into the app when I press the sign in button or whatever it said to get in, it keeps saying “oops try again” and I pretty much tried many times and still not able to get in. So I was like “Oh maybe it’s a WiFi problem” and tried logging back on to my WiFi and this still doesn’t work. So I haven’t even been able to get onto the App

Lacking current video tutorials. I am playing around with this to help me design sculptures. It seems I downloaded it 2 years too late since all the instructive video tutorial classes are based on a previous version. There’s a steep learning curve without those and am not sure if it’s worth my time.

It’s awesome but there’s a little problem. So I got the exited to learn to 3D modeling but the problem is you have to use a Apple Pencil but don’t have anything like it so I thought I could use my fingers but sadly I couldn’t do you think you could fix that so you can use your fingers please Thanks.

Too difficult. This app is not what I thought it would be, it’s extremely difficult to navigate and it doesn’t allow you to make your design how you picture it. Looks like it only allows you to view default designs on the app. Not to mention every single second it keeps trying to promote the plus version of the app for $80. Just downloaded it like two minutes ago, then deleted it literally right after. Way to complex and annoying.

Whoa! Cool 3D design app. I love how this app makes 3D design simple and fun. I don’t draw much, and this is why I like that this app has many 3D models to choose from. The app also has some great pre-made templates that give me an idea about how to use the app and create more rich 3D designs. Keep up the good work!

One bug to mention (loved the app). Honestly while I was at school, this was the app I always leaned to for 3D art, don’t get me wrong I found the app quite helpful when I needed to get my bearings on what something should look like. There’s a “but”, I’ve found that I can’t draw anymore (not sure if it’s because I’m using a mini 4) all I can do is view (please fix it) If this is because of the subscriptions then maybe making it a payed app isn’t such a bad idea (maybe having it as a basic starter pack when you first buy it might help, who knows). I’m tired of seeing things overprice (nearly $500 dollars to get the software for good seems like “pushing the envelope a little”)

Charged me for 1 year when I cancelled. Just charged me for a year subscription when I deleted this app and no longer use it I want a full refund

Requires paid subscription.. Predatory “risk free” 14-day trial is available but you literally can’t access any creating or editing features without handing over payment details. Yes, you can cancel afterwards but what a sad way to treat every potential customer and every first time user experience.

Question. Okay so at first, I thought ‘oh this is fantastic and I’m gonna be able to use it!’ But then after the tutorial finished it said ‘ Try for free’ So I was sorta confused. And I pressed on it and then it had money. So is it free, or payed? And if it IS FREE, then how do I model without having to press on free trial?

No private data :(. Forces all your data to be stored on their servers, with no option for keeping stuff private/apart. HUGE privacy implications, open to theft of trade secrets/industial espionage, and ensures this app is unsuited for fields developing leading edge designs. :(

Very impressive. Spend the time to learn and the results are incredible and it is free. Awesome work guys!!!

Not another %^*#ing subscription. I would love to have this full app to use on odd occasions, forcing subscriptions and forcing to sign in for cloud storage of which I have plenty on my devise, my choice thanks, umake you can M$K$ $ff

Not beginner friendly. There appears to be no tutorial focused on architectural planning

Predatory 14-day free trial. Hit the 14 day free trial button and you automatically get signed up for a year.. Very hard to figure out how to undo.. DISHONEST! BE WARNED!

Needs Sign Up to try. Can’t even test it without signing up. I assume it’s a good app given other reviews, but if I can’t even try it ONCE before signing up, no thanks.

I have a good internet but it’s keep saying you don’t have a stable internet connection. Makes me mad

LOST ALL MY WORK. People need to know that at any time their subscription may go up and that they have to pay to get their own original work back!!! Thought I’d do the right thing and update. Now I can’t do a single thing unless i’m online and join some weird subscription thing. PRODUCT HAS CHANGED, NOT WHAT I INITIALLY INSTALLED!!! I got this in good faith, now the faith has changed. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND I WILL REPOST THIS EVERYDAY UNTIL RESOLVED!!!

Yep. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nonono. What the hell? I am a 12 year old that has always been wanting to create 3D designs and u have to pay to work the whole App? I was about to say that this was my favourite 3D Design app but I’m disappointed.

UMake. The app is great

I’m sure it’s great. It’s worth knowing that to use this app at all you have to sign up for a subscription, cheapest one being about $10/month. So...I didn’t get to try it at all, but it did look good. I’ll have to stick to SketchUp on the MacBook then...

Uhhh, can we have an eraser?. This is a great app, confusing at first, but confusing. There is no eraser and arrows everywhere I look. Just want to design ONE thing. Do I really have to make a mini model irl?

Free is only by subscription. This app free to download, but you cannot use a single function unless you sign up for the 14 day “free trial” which subscribes you to their annual fee. Absolute rubbish. I would prefer to use one or two basic functions and see how I like it before signing up to an ongoing subscription, disappointing that they offer nothing for the use of the app prior to subscribing to costs. 14 days free, is not the same as having some free functionality.

Amazing. Easy do any design. I love it.. Amazing Easy do any design. I love it.

Thanks for Deleting ALL My Work!. What the . made you think you can do this? Users trusted you and saved their work in your program without backups. You know even Autodesk 3Ds Max allows you to view/export your saved work without editing for free. THIS IS PURELY STEALING! I once rated you 5-star, shame on me. Your action is basically the same with virus locks up your device and ask for payment to unlock it. Again, good job done to those who trusted you.

The subscription is called plus. the subscription is access to the app. It’s not premium, you can’t use any features.

Dont get it!. Im not gonna spend another 15 dollars for another actually good art app let alone a subscription! Dont trust the free part and dont trust the “unlimited access”

Requires facebook/google account. Can't be used without a facebook or google account. Uninstalled.

Can't use. You have to sign up to do anything. INSTA-delete.

Great idea, hard to use. This is super hard to use, as when you try to draw a line, it snaps onto an other line, no matter how hard you try, even when grid drawing is turned off, I just want to make a straight line attached to another line, but it doesn't work, so I have to make a straight line and then attach it manually, which is just time consuming. This is only one of the many many problems I encounter in this app. For starters, try and make the line drawing system more reliable. Next you can fix the bug when I move the whole model a little bit down, a whole heap of lines just appear out of nowhere messing the whole model up. All I wanted was to align the model to the grid for some accuracy. Something else that's bothering me is the symmetry option, it doesn't even work properly. I would delete lines and they would not delete on the other side of the symmetry. I was trying to select the treads of my model tank, and I just needed 1 side of the treads, I went into the side view perspective and selected what I needed to select. When I came back to the orbit view, I saw some lines of the treads on the opposite side were selected as well, so I had to select all the lines one by one in a weird perspective, just so I could select the treads on the left side of the tank, by them selves. I copied and pasted the treads of the tank, but the treads duplicated twice on one side but only once on the other side. What just happened? I don't even know, so I had to reselect the treads, all over again which contained over 20 lines, to copy paste the treads a second time. Please make this app easier to use, as there are too many flaws in this app. It is an atrocious mess to use and design with even though it that is its sole purpose.

Gonna get. So it’s right now downloading but just saying, can you make FNAF animatronics with these? If so, I LOVOOOVVVVEEEE YOUr APP!

Overpriced subscriptions like this ruin the appstore. As a user of top gfx software from Maya, Zbrush etc, on PC to top apps like Nomad, Concepts, Procreate, etc on ios that all thrive on a one off extremely reasonable pricing models, I'm not even going to sully myself with the free trial of this bad joke.

Terrible user interface. No one has got a good interface for 3D drawing on a touch sc even and u make is no exception. Just a waste of time trying to use it.

Paying? Really?. Hi, the app looks cool but I don’t want to pay for something I’m only going to use a couple of times. I will have to switch apps. If anyone can recommend a different app, please say something.

Keeps changing the place of whatever I draw. Really annoying but at the same time cool

Pretty sweg. This game is pretty swig. I rate 8/8 m8 gr8 b8. My hiscore is 508 download now! K?

Why have I received a “dfgdfg” notice?. Why have I received a “dfgdfg” notice? Just two minutes ago.

Trial? You mean pay-4-trial. Disappointed to say the least, I’m sure the software has some merit to have real life applications but how can I make sure it even works if there’s a paywall behind it. I understand that this kind of software is hard to develop and what and needs funding from its users but.. really? I refuse to sign up for a trial that requires payment, what a joke. Its only on the yearly option anyway. Just seems so sketchy and risky to trust. Do better.

Good. It is good

You need to pay. You need to pay for this, but based on reviews and stuff I guess it’s a good app

Brilliant concept let down by its business model (and a few crucial features missing). this is the best interface I've ever seen for someone who is not trained as a 3D designer. Hands down. I love it. That said, some vital features are missing --- there is absolutely no support for measurements. It is impossible to resize a line, circle, etc. by exact measurement. There aren't any tools for advanced alignment either. Without these it is basically impossible to design a precise model. It's also impossible to extrude a surface (only lines can be extruded). I assume, though, that these will be added. At this point uMake looks very much like a work in progress. The potential is unlimited, though. There are a fair number of bugs: most frequently spurious curves appearing that cannot be deleted, but disappear by themselves when the design is saved an reopened. Some are not so harmless, for example I had a couple of designs seriously corrupted when I reopened the file stored on the cloud service. Would I buy it? If the missing features are added and bugs were squashed: yes. I'd even pay quite a bit for it (I would not consider a few hundred dollars for an 3D design tool as expensive). Unfortunately, this is impossible. You can only subscribe to a plan, and at AU$230 a year (!!). As others have complained, that is indeed a bit much. Particularly given the currently still buggy and incomplete state of the app. I'm sure the bugs will be fixed, but will the business model?

Log in difficulty make app unfriendly. Used correct email & password checked caps lock but site refused to accept. If it's this hard to open, what's it like to use?!

Way to expensive especially for a 3D app. $499 dollars for a lifetime!?!? $29 dollars a month!?! Way to expensive I don’t even know why people use you. All you want is money. Go away I’m not using you, at all.

Amazing!. Its soooo amazing and it is free! I recommend this to everyone who loves art

Toy. It is going to drive you crazy trying to draw a simple line or shape. It is more of a game than a tool of any sort. Can't draw to scale and lacking functionality. Don't waste money subscribing until you have tried this for sometime. It with it at all.

Misleading crap. Tell people you have to sign up and pay money before they download

Do Not Buy. Horrible is a money scram

Why?. This app is now a decoration on my menu Note that my first rating was 4 stars At first, we had all the features for free... even if there wasn’t as many as today Then, you’ve updated, and a premium version appeared... we lost features but gained some too. Still, it was an awesome app Then, you’ve updated again, and we were able to get a free month trial... yeee Now what? We can only have 14 days for free?! I mean, if you’re searching for money, just run ads!! I’ve always been a low-budget dude, and when I discovered your app, I Almost fell in love with it But now, even if I’ve been following you for years, I feel like I’ve been betrayed Please, give us back the free subscription with less tools

Cost. Every thing costs money don’t get

Lost my support. No desire to give it a chance when everything’s behind a paywall. I don’t mind trying before buying, but using a subscription model designed to take advantage of people forgetting to unsubscribe is low. I sincerely would be more inclined to subscribe if I could try for a day without any need to subscribe. One potential patron lost.

SO BAD. I can’t use the app with out paying either $400 once or $20 a week! I’m a 13 year old child just trying to be creative and I have to pay? My family is quite poor so we cant afford this. ONE STAR

Bad review. You can’t even use the tools because you have to buy if this is a glitch please fix it if not I’m never using this app again

It is good but you have to have it on the iPhone 11 or12. It was good

Add manual AR. The app is really good, but you can’t use AR if your device doesn’t have that feature. Manual AR where you place it yourself on the camera and let the Gyroscope do its thing.

Death of a thousand cuts. I gave up after hours of telling myself I just needed to learn a bit more, watch a few more tutorials, to make this work. Don’t do what I did. Save your sanity and give this one a pass. It sort of works. You’ll make enough progress at first to think you can eventually do something with this app. But then it will start wear you down with... idiosyncrasies. There’s no reason you should have to tap an object 6 times to select it. Or for an object to become deselected when you undo an action. Or for your view to turn upside down whenever you reposition. Or for zooming to flicker in seizure-inducing extremes. Or for hidden layers to still be in the way of what you want to edit. Or for the copy button requiring manual deactivation. Or for shapes to become inextricably and pointlessly linked if you let them overlap. I could go on. While I’m sure you could eventually wrestle this app into submission and make it do something kind of like what you want, you might also want to feel some sense of accomplishment without spiking your cortisol levels, or contemplating shoving your Apple Pencil into your eye. Until the developers take a hard look at why the easy things are so difficult with this app, I would only recommend it to masochists.

Don't like subscriptions. This is a great, intuitive app, easy to learn and use. But advanced features require a subscription fee. I don't mind paying a $15 or $20 for a quality app but have no interest in paying and paying on an ongoing basis.

Me encanta!!!!. Vale la pena aprenderlo a usar. Tiene muchos videos muy amigables. Un excelente programa

Garbage Subscription Model. Why do these bottom tier apps want so much money for a yearly subscription? Just buy CAD software on PC as a one time purchase and be done with it.

The glitchiest CAD software... JUST DON'T.. It's almost unusable because of the glitchiest UI. It RUINS the geometry every darn time. To do something simple, you need to struggle. To select something you need to struggle. Some surfaces just refuse to be selected. Oh my god... 🤦‍♂️ If you want a good app, take a look at Shapr3D, and ignore this flaming pile of glitches. This is just terrible.

Can’t draw. I can’t draw I can’t do anything

No good. Can't make anything with it

GET THIS APP. This is the best

Misleading. Demands that the user create an account after finishing the mandatory tutorial and before using the app.

Extremely Costly!. The app may be free but to use, it either costs $21 each month $125 each year, or a one time payment of$400! I wa s going to use it for car design, but this is crazy! I love the idea, not the price!

Best app. 🎃🎃🎃🎃

Disappointed. As someone who is interested in 3D modelling, I can’t afford to pay the crazy price tag.

Crashing a lot. I seem to spend more time on the starting screen than actually designing. If I move or edit something “too quickly” the app crashes. I have an iPad air and have iOS 11. Otherwise, this app is really cool and simple to use!

Do not get this app. If you don’t pay you can still give me for one you don’t you don’t payYou can’t do nothing it’s so boring when you don’t pay is the what is that

Was good. Not anymore!. This app used to be awesome! But then it started glitching and every time I try to go into it, it kicks me out before I can do anything, LITERALLY ANYTHING!!! Fix it or I’ll give it an even worse rating. With out glitches: 😁😁😁😁 With glitches: 😡😡🤬🤬🤯🤯🤯

Good but one thing. I love making new things but I wish it was a bit easier I’m dumb

W. You need to pay for everything

Would recommend if you have money. You have to pay for everything

Another lame app..... ....that requires you to create an account to use it. At least let me try before I decide to create yet another account in my life

Pathetic. Sad attempt to rope you into yet another subscription service. You can’t even try it without signing up for a trial.

Boo. This is so complicated and I hate it! Do NOT get this app! It sucks! And it wastes your time!!!!

Why can I only draw with an Apple pen...not fingers?. I don’t know if this is a glitch, but apparently, you can only draw with an Apple pen connected. 😔 Big disappointment, please fix.

Very good. All those people with one star ok. Except 13 year old one, have problems to pay 100 bucks a year for pretty good 3D software. Matter of fact, this is most affordable 3D on the market. Texture and photo manipulation is amazing. Love to have color picker soon. There is no 3D software in this price range or three times more expensive on IPad to have my 5 stars. Don’t look further at this time. Jacek.O

Do NOT get this.. All the drawing tools are not working. I can’t even click on them. I don’t know if this is a bug or what but i cannot use the app

Not free. You have to have a subscription to use this app and it says 3 months free but you still have to give your credit card info and I’m sure unsubscribing is a hassle.

Dam it, so bad. I cannot design things

Do not buy. Very bad experience, ultra expensive and laggy

Deleted. Got notified it went to an expensive subscription base system. Deleted.

Shows Some Promise.... Sometimes will let you connect lines, sometimes not. Is persistent at snapping to wrong object. When a surface is finally created, sometimes it links the edge so it can be edited, sometimes not. Control points obliterate the line so you can't see what you are doing... Also has a tendency to crash just when you get it to do what you intended; of course losing that progress. It does show some real promise, but at this point is fairly frustrating in it's inconsistent behaviour. I'll continue to play with it periodically for now, but won't be paying for additional features.

It makes you to make umake also. Just awesome! It is best 3D tool in AppStore! I bet that this app going to make you to spend lot of time!

Really sucks. Whenever I am doing something it opens up kits no matter how many times I click x nothing happens. It sucks and it's in the way from me ever making anything. Please fix!

What happened?. Umake was previously free and I enjoyed the app greatly. You add a fantastic update, with great new tools. But you also add the need to have a subscription now?..with a fourteen day free trial? The least you could have done is just remove some features from non subscribers instead of taking everything away from us, just for us to have fourteen days before we have to pay, or make the decision to delete the app. I cannot afford this stuff, I loved this app greatly. It hurts me to give such a low rating, because I had previously enjoyed your app so much. I hope you have the right mind to step back and just remove some features from free users, instead of giving us only fourteen days of use before we need to start piling money into this app. I understand that the more work and time you put into an app like this, resources and time is worth money. I know personally as an artist. I just know that a lot of heart and soul was put into this app, I can see it. So please, just think about it. Thank you for your time.

$104 per year or $699 one time?! No thanks.. Unless your used it for work and really need mobile I don’t recommend it. They is way better option less expensive. Also they don’t let you test it without subscribing upfront and good luck to cancel after, been there. Looking the general reviews, they surely change recently management who is just after money.

SUPER COOL. i can't just make work of job but ANYTHING AND ITS FREE 👍🏻

Your biggest fan. Not only did Umake help me learn 3-D design but they also seen my progress and supported me with encouragement and by giving me a new iPad Pro and more. I see people saying the management is ran by greed but this is far from truthful.

Good only if you have hundreds and hundreds of dolers. You have to pay for everything if you want a good 3d modeling app try Shapr3D it’s very easy to use and you can make realy good 3d models sadly you can only make 2 models but other than that great app so instead of buying this app you should get Shapr3D

Crashes. I spent more time relaunching the app than making anything.

Unsubscribe, won’t let me. I tried it, it’s sucks, tried to unsubscribe and it won’t give me option just to renew or change month lol Is this a scam? So your going to try and take a year out of my acct even though I don’t want it and want to unsubscribe? Erase my account or unsubscribe my payment and I’ll Erase the review.

No free features, why not just make it a paid app?. Absolutely no free features unless you get off looking at intersecting lines, and pop ups to buy every feature, other than the ruler. At least i can measure the empty void, what gift to us people!

I can’t do ANYTHING. I downloaded this app and I wanted to try 3D modeling, thinking it could be fun if I tested a few things out.. but I open it and I can’t use ANYTHING AT ALL not even the pens!!! I everything is blocked even after I watched all the tutorials, deleted and reinstalled, and everything! What happened?!?! The app looks like it has so much potential but I can’t do anything at the moment.....

Great, but inability to add dimensions holds it back. I love this app, great for putting your ideas in 3d, but i would not use it for a professional project, because you can not see he dimensions for your project.

Has some issues. During projects it will start lagging then immediately crashes. Has problems importing. Other than that this is a great app. Look forward to some updates!

Paywall before I can even use it?. The app looks polished but it’s annoying that you make me subscribe before I even know if I like it. The 14 day free trial still runs on my old account, meaning I still have to jump through hoops so I don’t pay $95 for an app I might not even like.

The app’s problem. I can’t even get in the app it keeps saying my internet connection is low but it’s not and I’ve tried s9 many times to sign up but it wouldn’t let me make any 3d stuff bc it keeps talking about my internet connection.

Either I’m stupid or something is wrong here. Seriously I cannot figure it out. I think it’s glitching? I have no clue. And it looks like you have to buy a bunch of expansion packs to use every item lol

Can’t do anything without paying. U have to pay to create 3d projects then you have to pay to use the models do not recommend for school use

no money = no app. the app is not user-friendly whatsoever. it is so difficult to figure out any of what’s going on inside of the app. also, it seems like you can’t do anything unless you have paid for a subscription??? if that’s the case then why not have the app itself cost money upfront instead of having users download it just to find it’s useless? i was really looking forward to using this app after seeing ads for it. highly disappointed.

Not good for the people that have mean parents. Look I can’t use it cuz my mom don’t want to get in app purchases so there should be a free drawing tool at least because I’m looking for a modeling app and I can find a good one and yours looks so easy to use but at the same time I can’t use it so I might just uninstall it and not come back

Eek!! Stay away!. Highly recommend not using this app. Save your money and try something else. It’s super unintuitive, difficult to learn and i have no idea why it got app of the year. It was super clunky and just a total nightmare to work in. I couldn’t navigate the app even after looking for tutorials and help. They want waaay too much money for this and definitely NOT worth the money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Needs a USDz export option. I love this app and it’s making my iPad Pro definitely a MacBook replacement in workflow but I do need a option to export in USDZ for AR deployment if the devs can add that this will be a serious contender for 3D modeling

False Advertising. This app is advertised as being free. I was happy to see that this would let me create many beautiful creations for free. However, when I went in to go start my first sketch, it said I needed to pay a subscription. Why would you make the app free if you need to pay to actually use it? Bad advertising, would not recommend.

New User. Can’t get past the first screen... says I need stable internet connection for using it for the first time... I know my internet is prime. Even without it, cellular should be enough to run an app... was looking forward to some dope designs but came out disappointed instead... lmk if you ID the problem or resolve it

Needs refinement before worth the price tag. This app has some great potential, but it still needs some basic control refinement before it is worth the price tag. Interested to see where the developers take it in a year.

Hard to work with and pricy. The money you have to pay per month is over what I’m willing to pay also it has a couple of glitches and has a terrible interface.

Free Version???!! Ha!! Can’t do a thing!. This type of misleading advertisement really repulses me. There are ads all over saying, “free version”, so I naively downloaded the app since I only needed to do a simple task. Of course, you can’t do a thing except download a file but then, can do absolutely nothing with it.

You have too pay for everything. Without the subscription you can’t do anything and it’s really annoying like I got the app expecting to be able to have fun and be creative but instead I can’t do a single thing without paying.

Needed a subscription. I downloaded this app because I’m in ag mech at my school. I’m building a trailer and I wanted to design it while I was on the go because I don’t have a computer. The app looked like it was great, but when I tried using the tools it kept saying that I needed a subscription. Really this app is just for aesthetics if you don’t buy a subscription. I would 100% use this app if a subscription wasn’t required.

I So Love this App , I Have already Learn how to Create. I So Love this App , I Have already Learn how to Create 2 3D Graphics On My Own and A Huge Great Help To Creators They Deserve 10 Stars And its Super Fun and Very Educational Love Love Love it !!! And you can find their Free Tutorials On You Tube Learn new tricks you Have t get it !!!

TEXT. It is great to be able to use text now. I have been waiting for this feature for a long time. Thank you

You must pay. You have to pay to use it at all I went and watch all the videos just for it to be lock unless you have the money time and battery life because it kills it it not worth it.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻ps I have the lasted iPad model as this review is written

You can’t do anything without paying. Yes there is a free trial but once it runs out you can barley do anything on it. I can’t even change the lighting!

Awesome App but.... Really cool app but unfortunately for those of us like myself who can’t afford all the in-app purchases you’re very limited. As my identity was stolen I don’t have the ability. The developer sGould make more available for us. Please

Free app just to pay for it.. This app needs to be FREE. And not for customers to download it free to buy in app-purchases. I was ready to use this app until I was notified by a subscription to continue using the app.

I have some trouble.. can you help?. Do I require a Apple Pencil to use? Also, do I need to pay to use it? When you reply, I’ll give my real review depending on what you say.

G-code. is there anyways we could take a G-code from our designs in near future? (to work with cnc or other manufacturing machines)

what on earth is this app. So, I saw an ad of this app, and it looked fun! but no. when i got on, it said i cant build 3D until i pay 100 bucks. 100 BUCKS A YEAR! are you nuts? i just wanted to build something, since i design art. so please make this app better...thanks

AMAZING. It is hard to use at first, but it is free and so much fun once you learn it. It works like an app that would cost you a lot.

Fraudulent Business Practice. The app offers a 14 day trial before they charge a year subscription, but I was charged immediately. What’s the point of a trial if I can’t change my mind and cancel during the trial? This is just a way to make a quick buck from customers. Please get rid of the 14 day trial option if you’re not going to honor it.

Not free at all, just make it a paid app if you're gonna limit this much. Can't do anything other than open blank default files and look at it. No adding objects, no adjusting the base object, absolutely nothing. I shouldn't have to activate a 14 day free trial with my actual payment info just to try this out on a basic level.

Still Evaluating. New to this app. Still learning the basics and finding that the learning curve is a little higher on this than I have experienced with other like apps. Still, was happy to find this and sure I will get it after more use. 4 stars for now.

Don’t know if it’s worth it. If there was a trail version that I could test it before I decided to invest. I do not like and am not willing to try a subscription even if there is a 14 day trial attached. I don’t like the concept at all to even try the app I must subscribe.

Awful Experience. I downloaded this app hoping to be able to make models, but I can’t do anything. Everything has to be payed for. I’m sure if you payed the subscription, then it’d be great, but otherwise, your stuck with nothing! Every feature is blocked! Awful app. Don’t recommend.

Amazing!. I'm having a lot of fun with this app! The tools are very simple and easy to access, the layout isn't cluttered, and I have been having a blast making stuff with it. Cool app!

Solar System. Okay thanks for being here with my buddy Yeah buddy he ain’t never seen him in a big fight We

Perfect Potential. This app in near to perfect except for some features which never work 1. This app needs to be optimized 2. Creating 3D objects with the pen could be easier as far as snapping goes

not worth it. the free version gives you absolutely nothing. like actually. you can’t do a single thing. the rendering is also really really bad. seems like it would take up GIGABYTES for an overall mid app. way to expensive for it to work as poorly as it does.

Terrible. I had to delete and reinstall because it kept giving me an error. I thought it would be a good app to design my furniture, but you can’t do anything without a subscription. I’m not trying a 14 day trial then paying for something I’ll most likely forget.

Meh. Cool rendering but as soon as you change the color, all of the original textures disappear. The fact that there’s so few choices for adding to the predrawn artwork only takes away from that. Then, being told that you are required to share it ... I’m sure you’ll get 5 stars from people who don’t know that there’s much better 3d art apps available, so no worries.

User friendly. Great for beginners easy to use features simpler understand

Crashes, as in frequently.. App has been crashing while trying to drag curves around the sketch since most recent update. Please take under advisement.

Joke. What a joke of an app that will get you into $100 free trial which is fine at all but then if you want to use all the features you have to sign up for a second subscription which is another hundred and some dollars a year. So if you got a few hundred bucks this might be the app for you.

Can’t use the pen. So I’ve had this app for 1-2 months and I can’t seem to use the pen. It’s really frustrating and when I watch tutorials it doesn’t have a axes (I don’t know if that’s how you spell it) so is just my ipad? Let me know if you can!

Couldn’t even get started. This app didn’t even work. It kept saying there was an issue and that my internet was poor, even though I have 4 bars and have very stable connection. It kept on going saying there was a problem and that I needed to try again. Very frustrating.

This is just wrong.... I got my hopes up only to find out that you have to start a 14 day free subscription before you can even draw a single line. I am very disappointed and think this is unfair to the person who downloads the app. I would appreciate it if Umake would change this ASAP.

iPad 9.7” Compatibility??. Downloaded and set up 14-day trial on my iPad 9.7 inch... I tap to open a new or sample project, loads to 99% and crashes. Immediately cancelled trial. Is it just not compatible for my device? I would think the app would not open at all if that were the case... In the mean time I will hunt another medium for my ideas.

Might as well not make the app itself free. I have no idea if the app is good or not because whenever i try to do literally anything it brings up the prompt to pay

Very Un-useable. I would like to give it zero stars since it is totally non functional un less you sign up for a 14 day free trail and agree to pay $99 afterwards. I would like to try it, limit to a single drawing, for 14 days then if I like subscribe. Not the for $5 the flower is free approach! Yes I know you can cancel any time, but they hope you for get to cancel. I do not care for the dis-honesty in that approach.

Great Design App. I love this design app I think you should get it too fair warning if your like me and can’t draw this might not be the best
