Fun app. Nice app to get art looking results of photos.

Can’t get back after I click on Library. I am using an iphone X. Please fix this and I will change my review and recommend to others. A simple back button would suffice.

Works better for some pictures than others. Need a lot experiment to learn what kind of photos it works best on

Very good but. Yeah, BUT. It seems like there is no way to take one of my over 5,000 pictures and move it to where it is easy to find. Olli just ignores my moved picture. I also find myself using Olli to get almost what I want then stuff it into something else to finish the job. It’s a very interesting bunch of filters that get me a good start on what I want but that’s it. Nothing I’ve found does what Olli does but as I said, it almost gets me what I want. Plus the irritation of not being able to rotate or crop or use rotate or crop in another piece of software and put the result where Olli can access it. Olli is the first half of a very interesting piece of software. Pete the Grouch

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. I am a photographer and I just tried this app out on some of my photos. OMG, love love love love love this. Can’t believe they can even do this stuff. It really works well and for $.99 it’s a total steal. 😍

This app owns me. I can’t stop. Makes every photo a work of art—especially the salt filter. I can’t stop. Inspires creativity. I have processed over a thousand images in two days. I wish you made a Mac version for batch processing, organization, some photoshop tweaks and printing. I have had many photo filter apps but nothing else has “possessed”me like this— everything it touches is cooler... I want to see what it does to ALL my photos. I can print them on a laser printer and frame them. I might wallpaper my study with them... Thanks!

I love it!. Great app with lots of options to spice up your pics. Really creative filters, I can't wait to test the video filters soon.

Cool app. Love it! But video too short.. Love this app! Makes most photos look really cool! Just wish that video would work for longer than a minute (or whatever it is...too short). Great app though. Thx for making it!

Very cool!. This app does something I’ve not seen other apps do - it applies painterly styles not only to stills, but to video clips. It does it in a simple, easy to apply format. Nice.

Super Impressive Results. Simple, intuitive interface makes quick work of settings, letting you enjoy the results. The images or videos that result are very impressive—very artistic looking. Most of the software I’ve used that is supposed to create simplified images misses the mark by a mile, but Olli has something those other apps don’t—whatever is under the hood powering this app has some very artistic chops. Simply stunning is really all I can say. Highly recommended for short videos and still images.

Nice App Needs One Thing More. Does a good job rendering your photos in an artistic way. One important feature is needed though: the style choices have to be selected prior to accessing your photos. Style bar disappears after photo selected. It would allow easier experimentation if the style bar would stay pinned under the photograph as you are working. As it is; if you are not satisfied with the effect you have to go back; try another style and then re- select the photo; whereupon the styles are no longer available once again. Please consider placing all the styles in a scrollable bar that stays pinned beneath the photograph you are working on. Thanks for this nice App. Hopefully it will become a great App.

UI Needs Work. Would be better if we could choose from albums, not just camera roll.

Fun little app. This little app does one thing very good....it transforms photos and videos into cartoonish and/or artsy images. Fun!

Super simple. This is a simple app that lets you give your photos a hand drawn or sophisticated cartoon look. It does its one task well!

Can’t stop playing with it!. Loving this app so far. Wish I could change color density but all the same, it’s still great!

So nearly perfect! - just one thing. This is a great app for giving your photos and videos a unique hand drawn look. There isn’t much in the way of customisation but the results out of the box are really good! Only issue I found was on the iPhoneX it’s nearly impossible to return to the capture or styles screen once you go into the library - a mini swipe near the bottom of the screen will get you back maybe 10% of the time but otherwise you’ll end up in another app or just opening a photo from the bottom of the screen... highly recommended though!!!

App no longer works. I loved this app the first day I used it. After 24 hours, the app no longer works. Every time I try to use a video that’s already in my phone, the app crashes while exporting. Unless this is fixed, I want my money back.

Like this a lot. I like using these pics when I don’t want to use a regular picture. It seems to bring more character.

Using this app finally to make somthng-update. Must update Stumbled on the FAQ’s and learned can do short video. So #3 dropped off my list. Finally have begun using this app to create a completely different type of travel photo book / video. It’s pretty simple and straightforward to capture static photos. Giving it a solid 4 stars. Could be 5 stars if ! 1. If UI allowed user to choose size format. Am doing a video in 16:9 format and would really like to take static type photos in that format. 2. Photo rotation is post editing only why not in app library? 3. Video capture ! Please !!!

App bug. I love the app but on my IPhone X when I go to picture library I can’t go back to change styles.

Finally great!. Olli’s effects have always been first rate, but it suffered from some rough edges in the user experience. Over several versions, it’s gotten the attention it deserves, and the rough edges are gone. Really terrific.

Olli & iPhone X an inelegant marriage. I adore the many ideas behind the artistic endeavors of TinRocket, unfortunately Olli, as filled with potential as it is, is an exercise in frustration. Moving betwixt filters and stored photos is painful and often involves a forced closing of the program. It takes too much effort to complete any photo transformation which means this monetary investment sits gathering dust. I look forward to the quick and complete fix of this glitch.

Glitchy in iPhone X. The app for iPhone X seems to be getting stuck in the library function. No way to get back to the camera without shutting down the app manually.

Very interesting effects. I really enjoy this app and have used it to help create art that I've sold in the past two years. Nice unique styles. Can't skip this one if you've got a bit of artist in you.

Fast and Furious Effects. Says it all

Meh. I bought and like all the filters but the app constantly keeps asking me to access my camera after I initially said no. Very annoying. No means “NO” and the app should understand that without having to constantly repeat yourself.

This app -> GREAT. I've used Waterlogue for years with amazing results. This app gives great results and is easy to use. Photo artistry at its finest!

Not on iPhone X. Unusable, can't get out of library because app switcher blocks the UI.

Beautiful App. This is a wonderful Photo effects App . It turns any photo into a beautiful oil painting. There are lots of fine tuning options. Well done, developers !!

Can an app make you happy?. I've spent hours since I bought this app making art with my old photos. Whatever secret sauce these guys have is the good stuff. I know they are still just filters but I find myself inspired to sketch and draw more now. Cheers! Ps the finished pictures look great for viewing on your phone, but kind of fall apart looking at larger sizes. Not sure how you would fix. Finer lines? More detail? Higher res?

Love it but perhaps there's bug. I love the effects and being able to live capture with effect. However, The app seems to crash when I apply the effects on panorama photos. It would be great if the developers can look into it.

Great app, pity about the performance.. I love the app, the constraint it places on smartphone photography is delightful, however it suffers from a few issues that limits its potential. iPhone 6 with iOS 11.0.3 and the following occurs: 1. Battery drain is atrocious. 2. Significant device heat increase. 3. Frequent crashing. Happy to alpha/beta test app updates via TestFlight.

Not great. There are better apps to get this sort of effect. The extra filters aren't worth paying for.

Tin Rocket = quality/ good devs. I’ve purchased Olli if only to support the devs who made Percolator way back when and keep it relevant! Waterlogue and Popsicolor are good apps too. I’m a hobby digital artist. I treasure the good quality apps that let me continue to explore & extend my work. I want these devs to be able to do the same thing. Win/win. Fantastic results with little effort.. With only a few slider controls, it’s easy to learn and get great images quickly.

Good but no live capture for video. I like the effects but no live capture of video. It sometimes shut down on its own. Iphone gets quite heated up.

You should download this app. Olli is addictive. Best tool in my bag of tricks :)

Shading is awesome!. Yes awesome for artists.

Realtime. A look you've never seen. The developers figured out how to make realtime modifications to images that don't look like the same decades-old edge detection. It's a line art effect with various fills that work better for portraits, still lives, outdoors, etc. The downside is that the current app's output is pretty low res. Don't plan to zoom in or print unless they improve that. It's a nice complement to some of the better new brushwork-type apps.

It's a perfect example of harnessing the power of the iPhone. I'd say this app uses magic but that's a slight to the app developers. It is so entertaining to use- basically you get the opportunity to see your world, in realtime, as an AhHa video (re: cartoon).

My new favorite. Definitely one of my new favorite apps. The "Cinema" and "Swiss" add-on packs are NOT worth it but the "Mercury" pack is an absolute must. The core style + the Mercury pack make for a VERY solid set of filters on this awesome app.

Can't import photos. Terrible you can't upload photos or videos for the price of this app!

Fees like magic. I love all the tibrocket apps, this may be their best yet. Photography friends of mine have been asking me "how did you do that?"

Easy peasy. It's quick & fun to use...

Mediocre at best - But it's improving. I have to sabe that this app is mediocre. You can't import photos is a big negative. You have two settings when using the camera, a double table will zoom in at a predetermines zoom level. I mainly photograph landscapes and after purchasing all of the additional filters and didn't produce great results. I think you would be better off using it with closeup still lifes and portraits.It's much better than Oilist, which is terible. Hopefully this app will improve. The image quality is poor. The average file jpeg size is 900kb (terrible) Horrah!, they are listening to their base and it's improving

Life. Animated.. This is my new favorite app for photos and videos. The real time filters help me see the finished product and it's amazing. It's such a cool take to see the world look like drawings and water colors. If you're not an artist, this will make you look like one.

Another feature?. Great app, awesome effects. Could we get a 16:9 format rather than the square shape? Apple's Clips does not have a wide format, I would use this app more if it had 16:9 capabilities.

Waste of money.. I don't ever take the time to rate an app, but when I throw money down the drain for an app this bad, I will take the time to warn people. I don't get how this has a single good review. There are MUCH better apps like this for free.

I'd give 5 stars if we could use flash!!. I love this app so much! I sometimes forget to use it so I put in a folder with Snapchat. I just wish we could take photos or videos with flash!
