- Paramount to My Conception

Update: I had no idea this app turned into a pregnancy tracker after you miss a period. Amazing!!! Adding 1 more star for a full 5 star review. I still think the free content is far better than the paid content and the anonymous chat should go away, so much negativity there. The free features of this app are a million times more valuable than the paid features. The period and ovulation tracker was paramount to my husband and I conceiving - I’m terrible at keeping track of these things on my own (usually my period just sneaks up on me). The symptom tracker and the “dive into your cycle day ##” feature were especially helpful in recognizing that I was showing signs of being pregnant, rather than just experiencing PMS. Because the free features were so helpful, I tried the trial of the paid version and was very disappointed in what it included. Especially the “chat with other future moms”...oh my goodness, get rid of this, it’s just a platform for women to work each other up into frenzies over trying to conceive. It’s comical at first, “anyone else want to conceive so bad they imitate symptoms?” and then sad, “I’m crying at work right now because two other women are pregnant and I’m not”, and if you keep reading it starts eating away at you...everything posted is so negative.

- love it!

this app is super useful for tracking periods, and has given me mostly accurate predictions so far! it’s been off by a day or two a couple times when i first started using it because it wasn’t adjusted to my cycle yet, but since then i haven’t had any issues. i love the insights where it gives info about my period and the different changes that come along with a period, and i especially love that you can comment anonymously on posts and get help from and give help to the community. by far, my favorite thing about the Flo app is that you can have it give you reminders to drink water, take meds, and weigh yourself if that is something that you’re concerned about! the reminders are super helpful for me as my meds are for adhd, so i need a reminder so i actually remember to take them lol! the only thing that i would adjust is that my water bottle has metric markings, but i live in america, so i have to convert the metric to ounces to track my water because the only way to use metric for water is to switch the entire app over to metric. this isn’t a huge deal because google is a pretty good converter but it’s just something that i’ve noticed. overall, this is a great app and i’ve recommended it to friends and family, and now i’m recommending it to you!

- It’s nice but...

So I used this app for my period And it was great up until my period change and I came on a week early which was perfect for my weekend away because we were planning to get pregnant and my ovulation date was set for a specific day. Well I was on my period a day or two longer so I figured it would probably change my ovulation date. Well my trip was set to be at least about 2 to 3 weeks away and I kept checking the app to make sure and to see if my ovulation date was going to change well it didn’t change it stay the same and make sure that I refresh my app just in case and it stayed the same. Now the day I get to my destinations for my trip is my ovulation day that was on the app that’s what we were depending on. Three days later I go on the app to mark the fact that we made love and the ovulation date changed to the day before I arrived on my trip. Immediately I was upset because it seems as though we may have missed the ovulation day due to the fact that the app didn’t update until after my ovulation date that was set originally. So I deleted the app because of that. It’s very upsetting when you’re trying to get pregnant and your ovulation date just seems to change along with your fertile days changes I just think that that is something that they need to look into I no longer want to use this app.

- Extra features only available with premium

I originally downloaded this app to track my period and my symptoms. I do still like it for that, but I also really loved when more features were added such as giving helpful bits of info about the whole cycle. This info wasn’t always that helpful for me because most of it I knew already, but I do think it’s helpful for younger people. I didn’t learn much about the menstruation cycle in school, and I just can’t imagine much has changed. It was also helpful that they gave you tips seemingly based on the symptoms you plugged in. However today I went to log my symptoms and noticed they added in stories on why we get cramps, etc., but they are all only available to premium users. And when I went to the screen that used to have helpful articles, mostly all of the information is locked for premium users. This is all information that should be provided for free. Now kids are still going to have to wade through inaccurate information on the internet because apps like this are charging for the most basic information. I understand that you need money to survive, but information menstruation shouldn’t only be available to people with money. Also you would think they could get a moderator for the chat rooms or a professional to help answer questions, but no. So the chat rooms and answers are inaccurate and overrun with teens who don’t know anything because apparently female anatomy is only available to people with money. It’s such a shame.

- Definitely the best period app.

After I got my first period I used the same app for years to track it. It never predicted my period right. For the longest time I just figured I was super irregular as many girls are when they start there period, but eventually I realized It said I was consistently late by approximately the same number of days every cycle. I just dealt with it for awhile. When I finally decided to check for a better period tracking app I found Flo. This app is SO MUCH BETTER!! It usually predicts my period pretty accurately, sometimes spot on. When my cycle shifts it always makes adjustments and often becomes more accurate. I also love that it doesn’t mark your period late until A certain number of days after your cycle was supposed to start (I think 5, which is the “official” number of days that make a period considered late. It doesn’t just mark it late when your period doesn’t start the day it was predicted to. I was especially impressed when I missed a period after my wisdom tooth surgery and when I logged my next period the predictions continued to be accurate immediately after. It seems like the developers did a great job on the actual software as well as put lots of thought, research, and expertise into it. It’s a great app!!

- Currently On a Free Trial

I’ve had Flo in the past and loved it. I didn’t have a phone for a year so I just recently got the app again and noticed a lot of changes, including that some features are only available through a payment. The payment is only around 14$ for the entire year. I don’t think that’s so bad but if it’s out of budget I understand. The features on the free trial are pretty awesome so far, it’s like having access to a gynecologist because the information you give about your period has so much feedback. It’s really surprising what the app tracks and the amount of feedback you get about symptoms, tips / tools, workout ideas, food recommendations, yoga, meditation, and self- assurance. I wanted to take the time to write a review because I was really hesitant to redownload the app with the reviews talking about payments but I’m glad I did and it appreciating the free trial so far. If you’re unsure try the 1 month free trial and see how you like it. Bonus for the awesome private community conversations that are available to everyone, so that you’re able to anonymously speak with other women/ girls on the app and freely ask questions or help respond to others. It’s just really awesome. I appreciate the app

- Great for period tracking only

I downloaded this app to track my periods, was great for that and plenty of little helpful insights/articles on the feed.. I used it to help conceive as well. Once I actually became pregnant and switched to “pregnancy mode” the little helpful insights diminished to almost none, maybe one every few weeks.. what would frustrate me also would be when I would click on the “For You” and it would show an insight article but then disappear before I got the chance to click on it. (Happened about a 100 of times on different occasions.) also the app doesn’t really have any symptoms tracker differentiations for the pregnancy mode... which seems kind of bizarre. Another thing is that in pregnancy mode it doesn’t say anything about the development of the baby at however many weeks you are. Not even a brief little description of what’s going on in your body at this time or a brief description of the development changes your baby is experiencing.. nothing at all.. I’m a first time mom so I use (5) different pregnancy apps to kind of bring all the information together, given that not all say the same thing or some say things others don’t and/or are more informative. I find myself using this app less and less as it isn’t very helpful in the pregnancy mode. I am currently 27 weeks so I’ve used it from the very beginning and nothing is getting better about it.. hopefully this review is helpful

- Amazing but needs a touch.

Don't get me wrong, Flo is amazing and you'll never use another app after you download this but it could use a few touches. The one idea I have isn't really important but if you want to have more fun with the app you should also have the choice of using your own photo for a background picture. Doing this would make it a little more fun along with being able to choose the color of the circles or bubbles. Also, it would be cool if people could make their own articles for everyone to read but make a separate column you can click on, incase viewers don't want to read other people's. And lastly, the articles usually talk about tampons. Not everyone wears them including me. It would be great if you could tell everyone how they work and if it hurts. I personally am really sensitive about "down there" and it would be great to know what it's like. Or even talk more about pads. Right now I read things I can on the internet and see how to insert them and everything. But I rly think sticking something up there is really nasty. Again just my opinion. But overall this game is really good. If it was just a little more fun and fit for everyone I would be giving it 5 stars. But hopefully something I said can come true. To Whom Ever It Regards, - Unknown☺️

- Pretty good

The reason I downloaded this app was because I have fairly irregular periods. They have always been irregular, but I discovered that I have hypothyroidism which contributes greatly to irregular periods. I am also breastfeeding and have been breastfeeding for 18 months. I do notice that when I take my thyroid medication my periods become a lot more predictable and more normal. So, with that being said I did not expect this app to be spot on for me. I am just not one of those women who have a really predictable cycle. If you have a predictable cycle than this app will work great for you!! It tells you ovulation days so you can try (or avoid) getting pregnant. It reminds you when your period is due which is nice. Since my periods aren’t regular it took about 4-6 cycles to actually get the app to correctly predict my periods which is understandable. It’s important to log all your symptoms because that’s how it tells which phase you are in. This month it said I was supposed to start, but when I updated my symptoms, it changed the date I was due for my period. My period actually came 3 days before it was “due” but still, that’s pretty good guessing with someone who has irregular cycles. I do also love that they have articles you can read that educate you about your body. 4.5 stars.

- 2+ Year User and still Loving it !

I have been using this app for awhile now and have been very dedicated to tracking my body's cycle. With this app I avoided pregnancy successfully for 2 years without hormonal birth control by working around my fertility rhythm using the information Flo provided. The longer you use it, the more accurate it it becomes. I think it is essential to track our menstruation. Apps like these can be life changing for women; Reproductive knowledge is empowerment for women. I always enjoy the updates and community sections. Tried other period trackers but I always just come back to Flo because I enjoy the aesthetically pleasing interface and ease of use. This is an app that gets better with time. Only until recently have I desired more; after giving birth I'm breastfeeding of course, and that can often cause you to go a while without a period. I wish there was a way to log this information as I await to have my cycle again, in a similar manner to flipping a switch for the pregnancy mode. When you look at past data, pregnancy shows up as yellow days in your year calendar. Just a thought. Could continue to aid in accurate predictions if this info was considered.

- New update ruined it..

There should really be a way to turn off virtual assist and my daily insights. Some of us came to this app because it was clean and simple, all these new updates and features are ruining that. It’s getting more and more intrusive and cluttered with every update. I don’t need or want all this crap on my screen. If I could toggle it off it’d be great but they give you no options, just shove all this stuff in your face. Why can’t anything be simple? Why do we need advanced AI and health stories on the front page? We don’t! Just a simple app that tracks and predicts our cycles and does it well. Please get rid off all this extra junk or at least give those of us who don’t want it a way to toggle it off. I hate this app now and will be finding a new one. To the developers- please don’t ask me to contact you for a solution. It seems to be your canned answer to every negative review and I will not be contacting you. If there is a solution to this issue or you have future plans to fix this issue, please just let me know here so the whole community can see it too. Nothing is going to be fixed in this situation by me contacting you. You used to have amazing customer service and really care about your users needs. Not anymore, there hasn’t been a genuine reply to any users feedback in a long time. This use to be a great app with caring devs behind it, but I can’t say that is true anymore sadly. Zero stars.

- I use it everyday

I just got this app yesterday and already love it. It’s so easy to use and very informative. Setting up your period (or pregnancy) might be a little confusing at first but once that’s done, you’re fine. I love how precise they try to be and get to know you with surveys (they’re optional). I also love how they give you all different articles to read about (romance, hygiene, body, clothing, exercise, etc.). You also get to chat anonymously with other women and girls - we really help each other out. I could write so much more but don’t want to take up too much time😂. I tried other apps and like this one the best - I would definitely recommend it!! I just finished my period so I don’t know how accurate this will be but based on my calendar at home, it’s right on track. This is the app to use! No app will be perfect, but this is the way to go - i can’t even say how much I love it (weird to be saying about a period app haha!) I’ll update my review once I’ve gotten my next period to see how accurate they are. One thing I don’t like is that they limit how many words/how long your comment can be which gets very annoying so if they can change that, it’d make the app even better.

- Not Alone

Before, I would always keep the details of my sex life, menstrual cycle, and other feminine problems to myself. After Flo, I feel so much more secure and content with all of the aforementioned issues. The app is well-designed and visually pleasing, as well as easy to use and practical in those uses. Not only can you track your period with Flo, you can also access a community page to share stories, take surveys, and read articles. The period tracker itself is very accurate for me and is usually always on point. The period tracker also gives you the details on your ovulation cycle and such, which gives me a sense of security and preparedness. While I don’t use this feature of the app, there is also a pregnancy mode which can track your pregnancy’s phases and tell you about said phases. I’ve come to love the app and it quite honestly bests all of the other period tracker apps I’ve tried. Flo is great for any woman who loves planning and organization, or any girl looking for advice on her first experiences. The community is accepting and welcoming, and all shared stories are anonymous for those who want to vent. Overall, a wholesome app with a feel-good vibe. Definitely a keeper for me.

- Absolutely love, but am a broke college student :/

I’ve had this app for a few years now and can honestly say I love it. It’s helped me with so much, including with figuring out how my medications affected me, where before I was so confused with what was going on. Watching this app evolve has been so cool, and I used to have a subscription in the earlier days, which was super handy. I also just tried the free trial of the newest premium version, which is absolutely amazing, and provided me with so much information that I actually feel somewhat educated on my body and how it works. I am a newfound broke college student and am bummed I don’t have the funds to pay for it right now (which I believe is an essential part to keeping this app running, because though we should have the right to free access about the health of our own bodies, I know I can trust this app based on the knowledge that hundreds of hours of work have been put into this by real doctors, instead of finding less trustworthy and sometimes misleading information floating around the internet). I will continue to be loyal to this app and will also hopefully soon be able to take advantage of the healthcare advice again!

- Love this app.

So I paid $2 for another app cuz it said it could tell me what phase of my cycle I was in and also send updates to my husband when I was in a new phase and give him heads up for ideas to support me, which is so awesome in theory, but the app is pretty dry, I don’t like the layout, and the insights about the phases weren’t as helpful as I would have liked. AND I could only track certain symptoms at certain times of the month, which is just plain stupid. So I came back to this free app because I like the design and the tracking features because I have random symptoms all month that I will never remember and need to reference at appts. That said, the ideas behind that other app are great. I would love to have insights about each of the phases and the opportunity to sign my husband up for emails that help him understand my cycle as it happens, too. I would even pay for that. (Not a lot, lol don’t gouge me.) I never understood much about my period and lady bits until I was older, so this has been very helpful overall. And it is usually pretty accurate at estimating dates (within a few days), even though my period can be really wonky and frequently comes early.

- Love this app!

I used MyDays to track my cycle for years, I saw a sponsored ad to try Flo about 2 years ago and it’s been extremely helpful! I’ve always had pretty regular cycles, but this app is so much easier to use and I feel like it’s been very accurate for me. I have been able to successfully time ovulation and conceive my first child with the help of this app! I love the pregnancy mode and the helpful daily insights. One feature I’ve really come to love and appreciate is the insights being more tailored to me. I was a little apprehensive of being asked to identify my race/ethnicity a few weeks ago, but now I’ve noticed that the insights have been so much more relatable and I think that’s absolutely amazing!!! I read so much stuff online about pregnancy and childbirth and my first thoughts are always about how the material relates to certain groups of women, compared to others. I love that the developers have taken this into consideration. I would like to suggest that not only Flo, but more if not all, pregnancy and childbirth resources provide more info and materials for single women or women who are not in traditional man/woman relationships or marriages.

- Almost Perfect

I love this app, and all the options it allows. Especially the symptoms it allows you to add day by day, it really helps me figure out my cycle and how my body is responding to my life. The app is relatively easy to use, and pretty customizable. The two main things that I wish to see updated in this app, is the option for the app to tell you how many days late you are. Currently if you are late, instead of reflecting that, it just keeps pushing your "expected period" date to the next day. I have been trying to find a way to see if i'm missing a setting to add this feature but so far no luck. I really like that feature on other apps so hopefully Flo adds it. And number two and perhaps the most important, I wish it allowed you to add a PREVIOUS pregnancy. It allows you to go through add previous periods so it can give you an accurate cycle length/prediction, however no options to add previous pregnancies which I think would prove very helpful to the app being able to predict future periods/pregnancies. Also I would like to have the option to add a personal picture instead of just the avatar but it's not really that big of a deal. All in all I love this app and highly recommend it!

- Good, but having issues (now MORE issues?)

UPDATED CORRECTION: My ovulation week (which happened weeks ago) jumped up an entire week too for. So now my period and ovulation dates are changing for seemingly no reason. This has never happened before. I understand the developer’s response, but I’m still not sure if you’re understanding the issue or if I’m failing to see something. Like I said, I’ve never had issues with this EVER, so why is every single thing changing. My period date. Changed over 6 times in the last few days, and so did my ovulation too. This makes no sense. I never had issues with this before, but this month, the day on when my period is going to start keeps changing. Every day it gets bumped up to the next day. First it said the 18, then 19, and now it’s up to the 21st. I don’t know if there’s an error occurring in the calendar or what, but it’s really annoying and confusing. I can’t tell what day is the correct day for my period to start, and now I’m worried everything else is wrong or the dates are offset (like for ovulation, as an example). Note: this has nothing to do with periods being late, as this is many days prior to when my period should even start.

- Love this app ( have a suggestion for the app)

This app is amazing. Has helped me so much through my periods and even if you don’t have your period yet it gives girls great health tip each. My favorite thing about the app is the The community. You can give your opinion, advice, ask or answer questions, tell your story or experience on all different kinds of topics. You can read other people’s questions, experiences, tips etc. and the great thing is is that everyone is Anonymous so you don’t feel ashamed or embarrassed asking a question or something. All my friends use this app and you should too it has changed our lives. My suggestion is about the Community. I feel like it is a very difficult if you have asked a question and you are going back to see if anyone has answered and you have to try and find the section you wrote it in. I feel like there should be a certain button to press that takes you to all of the questions and things you have every done on the app no matter what topic it is. so you just have all of your questions and answers tips etc. all in one place.

- Disappointing, to say the least.

I've used this app for years, and I used to swear by it. With recent updates, it's near impossible to enjoy any of the content other than the bare bones period tracking without being bombarded by the 'premium content' label on everything. This app used to be informative and accessible to all which is what drew me to it, but now I can't read an article or my health insights without paying for a subscription, which isn't really an option for me since I don't have money to spend on that. Flo developers, you'll lose a significant amount of your users through your lack of inclusivity. It's only been more disappointing to come to the app reviews to see the same complaints as me, and also see that your response is always to contact you guys directly. Unless you're making this content more accessible and inclusive, there's no point in saying the same thing to you all through an email or a feedback message directly on the app. I'm sure this review will get the same generic response as you've given most recent reviews, but this app went downhill so suddenly and disappointingly that I can't help but speak my mind. Will be looking for another period tracker app that isn't constantly telling me I need to have money in order to understand my body.

- Not woman-owned, Paywall is a slap in the face

I’d been using Clue up till now. I read that Flo had some additional tracking options (such as indicating when you change your chosen period collection method and, if applicable, how much you collected). They must have still been rolling out the feature because I didn’t have it or find a way to enable it. But the paywall is why I’m writing this review. Literally everything except tracking your period and a generally unhelpful and unmonitored community chat is locked behind that $50 subscription. If I track a symptom consistently and the app recommends an article to me, just let me read it. Or at least a portion of it. Don’t immediately hit me with the ad to subscribe. The frequency of that ad alone is enough to make me not want to subscribe. And don’t get me started on the community chat. It NEEDS to be moderated. There is some straight up harmful garbage there (not all but enough). I also did some digging and the app is not woman-owned or founded (which is important to me). Some entrepreneur guy founded it and as far as I can tell they don’t use revenue from the app to support any women’s causes. I think I’ll be going back to Clue, where at least it’s designed by women, for women, and has a more thoughtful paywall.

- Starting to deteriorate

The app was great a few years ago because all the information that I received from my stats were really useful. However, recently there has been a premium version added to the app (a little pricey for me) and you can’t get away from their ads. Now, when you open the app you have to wait 3 seconds to close their own ads, not ads from other companies, Flo ads. It’s starting to feel like a cookie clicker game where you have to watch their ads to use the app. Also, now when I receive my stats, I have to go through this virtual assistant where I punch in pre-made answers and it seems a bit redundant to me (and at the end they suggest you pay for premium). I have recently switched to the Apple version of Flo in the health app because it has a lot of the same features but you don’t have to be bombarded by their suggestion to pay for a premium version. Really disappointed that the app got to this point because I used to always suggest that my friends use the app, but not anymore. I might be more interested in getting premium but $50 a year or $10 for a month seems a little pricey for something I only really spend about 5 minutes a day on every few days and I worry the premium version might not get me away from more ads to come from Flo.

- Chat Boxes and More (very important)

I’ve had this app for almost a year and I was cool with it and all but they took the chat boxes/comment section away. I understand the articles like up to your daily log ins, but when they had comment sections, you really got to talk to people with similar problems and get advice. Now, it’s just article after article. I used to spend close to an hour on the app in a day but now it’s five minutes to quickly jot my mood. I hope you bring back the comment section because I got a lot of help from it. Also, update the moods or what you are feeling and the symptoms like headaches backaches. What about stomachaches? They don’t always fall under cramps. And the sleep monitor, you should be allowed to manually input the minutes. I don’t like that it rounds my 26 minutes to 30 when it’s less because it’s not 100% accurate. Lastly, you should have different times of the day where you ask how we are feeling. Like, at 7-8am you ask our morning mood, then around 11-1pm you ask our mood then because no one is consistently happy from when they wake to when they sleep and no one is angry either. People have periods when their emotions change hourly so that should be taken into account.

- No longer worth it

The app was great when I started. After so many years of irregular periods thanks to Depo it finally started to regulate so I downloaded Flo to track my cycles. A few months in I ended up getting pregnant and switched to the pregnancy tracker feature which was really nice. However, I’m now 38 weeks pregnant and suddenly everything is locked and you have to update to premium for. I get that the ‘basic’ tracker features are still free, but this is pretty upsetting. At least having a limited amount of resources still be free for those who are pregnant, such as “Your pregnancy at week __” or “Your baby at week __” would be nice. I’m definitely going to switch to another pregnancy app for the short remainder of my pregnancy. Very sad that I’m literally in the home stretch of my pregnancy and the app developers decide to do this. Also, please don’t respond with paragraphs upon paragraphs of explanations about how you’re keeping basic features free, the extensive lists of doctors you pull articles from, and your excuses as to why you’re charging so much for “premium” features that have been available for free for quite a while. No one cares, and they can look at your other responses to the upset reviews about this sudden change (for the second time might I add).

- More of a media maybe?

This whole app is real nice with the tracking part but the “insights” articles should have a separate chat on it (I heard there use to be) but it should totally come back. There’s so many nice people supporting each other and so many people getting answers to their questions on topic or not. For all the consistent off topic chats it would be awesome if there were a separate part where we could make a small chat. I don’t know how I imagine this would be but it would help sort the people with the same questions so if someone does know the answer they don’t have to keep repeating and repeating and repeating themself’s over and over again so they only have to say it once where everyone who had the same question could see it. Also it would be cool if you could have a check box or something in the settings to where you can manage your “don’t show me post like this” so you can say “on or off” so if you don’t want to see the post on that topic now but might change your mind later...I’m not sure how difficult this would be for the people actually making it for but it’s something to wrap your minds around I guess... O.o

- Love it but need some improvements

Even before I discovered that you can text other people it was really helpful. But now that I’m able to contact others anonymously and talk about real world stuff that you would be embarrassed to about outside of the app, it’s a hundred times better. I only wish you could see notifications for when people respond to your comment. Like an social media (I don’t think this is social media) it’s stressful putting something out there in the world and waiting for answers. Especially if it’s important, having to scroll through so much just to learn that you didn’t get a response it’s annoying. Having notifications that tell you if someone liked your comment or commented on it will relieve stress and make things simpler. Also, if your looking for a period app this one is really cool. It has easy to work period schedules, hooks right up to your iPhone health app and has really cool information. I know I have definitely learned a lot from it, and I feel much better about myself after reading articles on it. It’s also a great community of girls, girls who will stand up for you and are really empathetic and helpful.

- Use it!

I downloaded this app a few years ago and it was super helpful. I used it all the time and it was so great at predicting when my period would start based on patterns of symptoms I logged in previous months. It helped me become more aware of my body and its patterns. I don’t even have a uterus anymore but I still use this because I can say “why am I exhausted today?” And look and see Flo telling me that my period might start today (I usually log it even though I don’t get it). This is helpful because while I don’t bleed, I still have symptoms and knowing what’s going on and what’s out of the norm has been so helpful. I never used the paid membership, mainly because it was only a real option after my hysterectomy, but the free version is worth a lot regardless. It has proven to be indispensable for me, especially as someone who never had regular cycles. I highly recommend Flo. It’s so great if you want to make plans for vacation or special events because you can look ahead at predictions and see that you might need backup on xyz days. Thanks for keeping me sane, Flo!

- I love this app!

As a young woman my goal is to track my period and symptoms and make sure I am healthy and there are no massive changes in my cycle. Little did I know I was getting more than just that! These secret chats have literally saved my life. I talk with other people my age about common insecurities and problems. I feel more confident in my body knowing I am not alone in some struggles. I wish there was no premium because I feel like learning about my body should be free. But I get that without money Flo could not survive so what if Flo gave premium content to everyone and added a feature where you could get a custom period or pregnancy box once a month. It would take some time to get right but I know for sure I would buy it. Women would have to take quizzes on how many products they use in a cycle and what products they prefer and all that. They should also include some type of food maybe fuzzy socks and a book! All things you can personalize. Of course this box would not be cheap but it would be worth it!! And if you think you might be pregnant maybe include a pregnant test! Please consider this ♥️ But all together a great app 👍🏼

- Love the update!!

I can’t believe there are bad reviews for this new update. Why do people expect everything to be free? I’m American, so I have absolutely no expectations that anyone will give a **** about my wellbeing without me digging into my wallet. I’m also very poor, but this app is in my budget, because it’s important for my physical and mental wellbeing. Are there more than three options here that I’m not considering? 1) Tracking your period is really important and you pay for premium 2) It’s not that important so you keep the free version or 3) You simply cannot afford the premium even though you want it. None of those are the developers’ faults. When I gave my first payment for this app, it was something like what I was looking for. They’ve taken my money and everyone else’s and have turned it into something that is nearly PERFECT. Please don’t complain about your budget or income in an App Store review. Work it out. Requests: more info on nutrition depending on the cycle day and more moderation in the community. THANK YOU FOR THIS GLORIOUS APP!

- Good but not great

I like this app for the convenience of being able to track my period, input exercises and symptoms, however, I don't think it's very accurate on it's own and it doesn't allow many options to override the software. Sorry in advance for the length... For example: After trying to conceive for a few months with no success, I started charting my fertility and discovered that I usually ovulated a few days after Flo predicted (Flo goes by the typical "day 14" rule, which doesn't change no matter what data you add unless it's results from an ovulation test, and many women do not ovulate on day 14!). My second issue is with the period logging. I miscarried last month and had to switch back from pregnancy mode. While I logged all of my miscarriage bleeding as "period" in the app (basically three weeks worth) and now it's telling me that my period should start now. I understand that the whole point is for the app to predict your period, but miscarriage throws your cycle out of wack. It is very frustrating knowing that I'm going to have to go in and fix the period log every day and have the app tell me that I'm "late." I wish they could come up with some way to fix that.

- Great if you’re able to pay for premium

When I first downloaded Flo, I had the premium membership, and it was great. The chat boxes were really insightful, and the tracking provided me with lots of useful information about my health. However, when my circumstances changed and I had to cancel the premium membership, it is literally just a calendar on your phone where you can log your period and a few symptoms, and read a couple of articles. I understand that Flo requires funding to exist, but I was incredibly disappointed by just how limited the free membership is. Without payment, it is just another cycle-calendar app. The reason I’m writing this review now is because my period is late and a little chat box just popped up that claimed it was going to go over the possible causes. When I clicked into it, the first screen was a list of things like pregnancy, stress, diet etc (stuff I could simply find online), and when I clicked next, expecting some sort on insight tailored to my input, it just said the next bit is for premium subscribers only. I couldn’t believe it. So far, I’ve found the app is basically pointless unless you’re willing to pay.

- Almost!

This app is (was) perfect. Before the update, it had super useful articles, perfect for a young woman who just started her journey. I loved it when I started mine, it helped me learn about my body and how I can support it throughout my cycle. There were some that were unavailable, due to in-app purchases but that was understandable. However, this feature has been completely removed for those who don’t wish to pay $10/month! This was so upsetting, as this was one of my favorite features of the app. Women should be able to learn about their bodies for free, especially young woman who may not have someone teaching them or have someone to turn to! This app still has helpful features though. There are graphs and reports you can view that sum up your personal cycle and there are monthly reports that sometimes include information about what a full cycle consists of. There are conversations where you can chat with girls about various topics (feels like a sleepover!). Not only can you track period flo, products and symptoms, it is great for tracking everyday habits like sleep and water intake. I only rated it a 3 because they put their profit over women’s needs!!!!

- Love it, but I wish it had a few more options...

I have been using this tracker for about a year, and I love how far it has come in a short period of time. The ease of use, ability to set reminders- all things that I have come to really enjoy about this app. However, I do wish it had the ability to work for my spouse. Something like- giving him updates or alerts for fertile days, etc. Just something that helps both of us toward our goal. Also- I wish the app had more options when it comes to symptoms and moods. Stomach aches are common for me on my period, and I wish there was the ability to track them to see if perhaps there was a way to avoid them, or at least have a better idea when I could expect them- we all know our cycles are linked to something! For moods- I feel like angry and panicky don’t always fit the bill for me. I’m more grumpy or just generally annoyed, rather than something that harsh. If not adding more options, perhaps the ability to add custom options that we can then track. All in all, I absolutely love this app and look forward to future updates!

- Do not try flo premium worst customer support

I tried out the Flo premium to see what it was like since they had a one month free trial. I didn’t use it much and wanted to cancel it. I contacted support on how to cancel it and they sent a list of steps on how to cancel it. I was having an issue with one of the steps where the screen would pop up blank and then disappear. I let support know and they responded with the steps of how to unsubscribe. I asked if there was a support number I could get further assistance or a manager I could be passed on to and was sent the steps of how to unsubscribe. The next day I contacted support again asking if there was a support number or a manager I could speak with and asked if they would please not send me instructions on how to do it myself since I was experiencing issues and I was unable ti unsubscribe myself. They responded by sending me the steps in how to do it unsubscribe myself again! Flo has the worst customer service experience I have ever received. I don’t think they even read my message. They kept sending me the same information. I regret ever trying Flo premium and am still unable to unsubscribe. I don’t understand why they are unable to unsubscribe me from this membership. I have never been so frustrated with an app in my life.

- Love this app but not accurate

I have been using this app for about two years. I started using it after my previous app became outdated and the developers never updated it. Immediately I loved the features and look of this app. I have been tracking my cycles and ovulation using apps for about 6 years so I consider myself knowledgeable. Well, we decided to start trying for a another baby early this year (2018), following the ovulation days in Flo. We had no luck the first few months. Now this would be our third baby and the last two were conceived our first month trying, while using my previous app. My cycles are very regular and ovulation was always accurate. I noticed my body’s ovulation symptoms were not lining up with the dates on the app, they were about a 5-7 days before the app predicted. Sure enough, we then tried the week before the app predicted and we are now pregnant! FYI: my husband works away from home so we literally had to schedule for him to be home when I was ovulating. Also, I now have the app in pregnancy mode and the due date is off a week. I really like the app but would love for it to be more accurate.

- No premium, no content

Again, but not by mistake this time, they’ve removed all content aside from a calendar. You have to be premium to see even the most basic of articles. Super annoying and seriously just no thanks. $10/month? I pay less for Hulu/Netflix. Lol. There are other apps with more free information and yet still I chose you guys. Been using this app for years but Im officially done. It should be health over money. Good luck. I’ve been reading through reviews and well you seem to have a lot of upset users now. Y’all should really reconsider what you’ve done to the app. I have been using this app for a couple of years now. I am now pregnant and have switched the settings. I’ll be 20 weeks tomorrow and aside from seeing just how far along I am, I have to subscribe to premium for any other information. I was able to read the what happens at 19 weeks insight last week with no issue and now it is labeled as “premium content” So if I want to read anything about 20 weeks tomorrow, I have to get premium?? It’s usually a short insight so to have to pay $50 for the year or $10 a month for just that, sounds unreasonable. Is this the new norm?? No premium, no content?? Just a calendar. Guess I’ll be on the hunt for a new app with more info.

- Flo got my pregnant after only 4 month. Was trying for 2yrs before flo

I had the free version of Flo, after i was told by a friend to get it for trying to get pregnant. I downloaded it and me and my man we’re trying for almost two years, using fertility sticks to know when I had the better chance to get pregnant which cost ($50 for the cheapest ones) did everything we could and couldn’t conceive and had suffered sadly four miscarriages. I downloaded flo and used it daily, logging my sex, symptoms everything I got pregnant with my rainbow miracle baby only four months after downloading the app!! I swear by this app if your trying to conceive then conveniently I just switched he the pregnancy log flo in the app. Also since I was logging all my sex, and symptoms, spotting it helped my obgyn figure out my real due date since I have two periods a month and ovulate at odd times compared tor regular women. Now my daughter is 18 months and I’m trying for my 4th baby using the app! I recommend this to any one who is trying to get pregnant!!

- Reaches my expectations but could be a little better

So when I first got my period, I had no clue how to know when it came and what would come with it. I got this app because I had see many ads about it. I immediately liked it, and used it regularly. I really liked the quizzes that would ask you to see if you knew some knowledge and how to improve staying healthy. My favorite part, however, was when an insight was posted and it asked a question that you could comment on. I have noticed that this has not been uploaded recently, and I am missing it because many other users had relatable, funny, and inspiring stories that I think should be shared with everyone on the app. If this does get added again, I hope there will be a setting where when someone comments on your comment, you will get notified. Overall, this app is really great and helps me keep track and not forget which I do a lot with other things. I also keep learning new things that can keep my body healthy and clean.

- Super useful but needs an update!

I’ve been using the app for about a month now and so far I really love it! Obviously I haven’t really had the chance to see how well it does with period/ovulation predicting, but the main reason I love it is for its day-to-day functions. I love the insights given about possible changes and reasons my body might be behaving differently. I only knocked off a star because I’d like to see a few things added to the symptoms category on the calendar; 1) along with food cravings I feel as though there should be a place where you can log what it is you’re craving (as cravings for different foods can indicate that your body is lacking a certain nutrient), 2) you should be able to log whether or not you’ve had a loss/gain in appetite, 3) I had read another review about maybe starting in-app chat rooms where you can message groups/individual people about specific problems and I thought it was a great idea! The insights that the app gives are helpful but not the same as advice given from people with the same experience. Overall I highly recommend!!

- I love Flo! However,

Flo is a remarkable app and I prefer it over any other tracker. There are a few concerns I have. One being the chat rooms. With so many people commenting this on Flo and the App Store, and you claiming to read our reviews....I’m surprised you haven’t changed this. Two words: Group Chat. This will help us all help each other more frequently! I mean, I haven’t had an insight in 6 months! Anyway next, we all miss the quizzes page, with all the interactive quizzes you could take about all the different topics! I don’t even know why you removed that, it was amazing. Also, some features that might add some pizzaz to Flo is being able to change your profile/comment icon, change the app icon format on your screen, getting notifications when someone replies to our comment instead of having to scroll scroll scroll, and also a search bar, so we can search for our insights instead of having to legitimately go on a quest for them on the insights page. Another thing is with the new update i can’t see the secret chats anymore? i used to and now i can’t? is it premium? Best regards! I hope you make some changes!

- Review

I love this app, it’s very helpful, but I do have some suggestions. In terms of mood options, maybe you could add some moods tailored to mental health such as “depressed” or “anxious”, I feel like it would help me personally as opposed to labeling it under “mood swings”. Additionally, if there were an ovulation app without pregnancy that would be helpful. I’ll use myself as an example; I’m not looking to get pregnant any time soon, but it would be helpful for me to see when I’m ovulating so I can plan around it. Also, I wouldn’t mind more insights, quizzes, and interactive questions/polls that fit with my inputs. I find it very insightful to hear what other women have to say about a particular topic. Lastly, if our mood fluctuates throughout the day, we should be able to input our current mood, the time we began feeling that way, and an option to explain why we’re feeling that way. I’m just thinking of those with depression much like myself, and it would be interesting to see when, how, and why my mood changes. There might be a pattern that can help us identify a problem or issue.

- Cute Reminder for your partner

I’m really enjoying this app. I’m a mother of 5. We planned for 4 and received a bonus! 😉 We don’t want to use artificial contraception to prevent more pregnancies and this app has really helped me keep track of everything pertaining to my fertility. The only thing I would love to have added is the opportunity to be able to share with my husband the data to be able to plan days for sex. We don’t want to have more children so it would be nice to have him be able to check on his own where my fertility is because I can’t always remember to send him a screenshot of the calendar, plus, I think it would be so cute to have him receive the reminders from the app and not just me. I’m super busy tending to five kids, after all. I feel like I always have to be the one to initiate because I'm the only one who knows when it’s safe. I found another app that does this reminder, but it would be fabulous to just have it all on Flo because I enjoy this app so much. Thanks and have a great day!

- Great tracking app!

I used this app for several months before we tried to conceive. It might take a couple months to figure out how many days your cycle is to have more accurate predictions. The longer you use it, the more accurate it is. When trying to conceive this is important to help accurately predict ovulation days and fertile window. I really liked being able to track my symptoms daily and other health things like water intake, mood, sex, alcohol etc. This was all super helpful when my husband and I were trying to conceive. We got pregnant the first month of trying while paying attention to the fertile window the app suggested. I’m not saying the app is why we conceived so fast (everyone is different!) However, it definitely helped. I don’t use this app for my pregnancy mostly because it tells me I’m a week ahead of what I’m actually at even though my due date is entered correctly. The calendar is helpful for looking ahead to know how far along I’ll be at a certain time.

- Word of caution for ED sufferers

This app is wonderful so far for tracking my period. Tracking my cycle and symptoms is the primary way I use Flo. The “health assistant” function with the fake chat is cute, and I thought it seemed like a wonderful health education tool about the menstrual cycle. It gave me the warm fuzzies thinking about the good education there for girls and women. However, the chat for my “end of cycle” included messages that were triggering for my eating disorder, and I wanted to extend that warning to others who may have complications with eating. If it would be upsetting to you for a robot to insinuate you should keep less food at home or to suggest over and over to avoid certain food types altogether; avoid clicking on the health assistant. Otherwise, I have enjoyed the period tracker function. The symptom tracker is detailed and user friendly, including many emotions to choose from. There’s even a way to mark high stress times, like if you were traveling. So cool. Would love to add the remaining star if I could feel good to recommend it to other ED sufferers without that caveat.

- Very useful app - life saver

When I got older my mother told me about periods. One of the things she mentioned is that I had to keep track of my period every time I get it on a calendar to keep track of it and I didn’t want to do that (because I’m to lazy). So I thought, there must be an app for this. And ironically there was because that’s how I discovered Flo. It’s easy for me to keep track of my period because I use my phone for a lot of things and all I have to do is just log the days I have my period. You can even add symptoms that you have during, before, and even after you have your period. It tracks my period and gives me useful advice, based on the symptoms I put, or “insights” per say (although I am not fond of paying for premium to read some). They even added chat rooms on topics for other girls to talk about. It’s really nice being able to communicate with other girls that are going through the same thing I am. I would recommend this app to all girls and women of any age. It’s truly amazing.

- Accurate and Helpful

I’ve been using this app for 7 months now to track my period, and after the 3 month mark it did a pretty go job at accurately giving me the date of my menstrual cycle. Occasionally it will be a few days late or a few days early in estimation, but that’s just normal. My period could be late or early from stress related things, diet, or life changes. Overall I’m just happy it gives me and general idea of when my period is coming so I’m aware. I think this app is great for all woman, but especially young girls who have just gotten their period for the first time. The app gives you healthy insights on your period, acne, diet, stress management...things that kids may be to embarrassed to ask their parents about. I highly recommend getting this if your having a hard time keep track of your periods cycle or even if you want to know when your ovulating. I’m 16 so I’m not really concerned with that rn, so I’m not sure how accurate that is..but I’m sure it’s helpful!

- Looking for a replacement

I like the usability of this app. But the ovulation tracking is garbage. It does not adjust correctly if your cycle changes. For instance it said I have a 28 day cycle and some how said I was ovulating on day 16. I know this is wrong and can’t forgive how the app has come up with that figure except for the time or two my cycle was longer. The i has a 26 day cycle and I updated the settings it said I would ovulate on day 11. Both of these are incorrect. I tried changing it back to 28 days and it still said I would ovulate on day 11. For fun I put in I has a 33 days and it still stayed ovulation on day 11. I updated the app closed it and restarted and the ovulation date does not readjust. Only reason I’m giving it 2 starts instead of 1 is because it’s easy to record periods and symptoms. Other then that it’s garbage. I’ve even taken ovulation test when the app says I’m ovulating but they show I’m not. This has been a waste of time and may have impacted my goal of getting pregnant by predicting the wrong days even when I actively try to update the information. I’ve been using this for about 1.5 years and have not gotten pregnant. It’s very disappointing.

- Birth control

I personally love this app! I have recommended to all my friends and have used it for years! The new updates are great too. I’ve thought about all the different features and even the customizable reminders. I love that you can set a reminder to take your contraceptives and personalize it to work for the individual. Something that i think would be great to add would be a birth control mode. So those who take a form of contraceptive can use it and help them. But for those who don’t, don’t have to bother. I feel like this mode would include being able to log it and in my case the pill. And log the symptoms you’ve being experiencing along with the pill. It would also be nice for the insights to include some information on birth control and on other hormonal things that we all go through. As opposed to how to hide your pad or stuff like that. I know there are a lot of younger people who use this app which is great but there are many older users as well and we could use some new information too. Just a few thoughts! 😊

- “Premium” content axed me out - now no education

I’ve had this app for over 2 years and it has spanned birth control/period tracking into pregnancy! Unfortunately, that’s where my enthusiasm ends. I *just* did the update (Nov 22, 2020) and come to find out that information I had just been able to access last week is now blocked to the subscription account version. I go to look at any of the “Insights” and every category and every article *but one* were locked. I understand the need to make money with your product, but to stop offering things - apparently everything - you’d been used to, it just feels scuzzy. I think I even remember when the app developers started rolling out their Premium version, I’ve been using this that long. I understand having some stuff set apart like that. But really, the global need for *good quality* menstrual health info/education is high priority, and to make people pay $10 a MONTH for information that’s easily found online.... I just don’t get the point. Sorry, but I’m dropping this. You guys lost me when you started putting a “premium” on health when the worldwide trend is to stop pricing people out of a basic need.

- Improvement suggestions

I’ve been using this app for more than 3 years now. It’s great. I just want to ask you to add feeling vulnerable/insecure and feeling confident/productive to the mood options and also to add sweat and skin glowing/pretty to the symptoms. Or better yet make it possible for us to add symptoms and mood that is specific to each individual in the app. And also add more advice on how to handle pre-menstrual psychological symptoms. And how to be productive despite them cause most of the times we have to be. Another thing let us decide which time range we’d like to see our weight charts, forexaple a month or 2 month etc and write the exact weight next to the points. And also make charts available for other features as well, it’s much easier to understand the algorithms of them and know how many steps we walked each month, exactly on what day we felt irritated in the last 10 cycles, etc. Thanks a lot for the great simple visual user-friendly application.

- Excellent for all stages of life

This app is excellent for first time young adults right up to menopause for tracking your periods, ovulation and monthly symptoms and pregnancy. It is intuitive and changes with the more information you give it tho u may not notice at first. I only have the free version which is more than enough for me and well thought of to not add pressure to buy any extras so it still gives you the critical needs of the app all for free. I urge all women to download and enter this app daily and watch as your body tells you subtle signs of what’s to come. Thank you for this well made easy to use app! For years now It’s Helped me track my period and then ovulation and now pregnancy. The added private chat subjects weekly opening up the ease of conversations women just should have and all private so no stress discussing anything. And best of all... it works perfectly fine for free for critical information so your not held at ransom at all. Highly recommend for young women new to the world of their body and periods or those trying to conceive for tracking body symptoms that you may otherwise miss. Very detailed daily multiple choice entries of symptoms to help the app predict what your cycle is doing. So easy to use and links with health app for added benefits and info all in one place. The best app I have on my phone.

- So Good!

I had no hope for this app, just thought it was be one of those crappy apps. But this is super reliable, gives you everything you need to put down and more things like that. I only had a little bit of information on my cycle and it’s literally so accurate already which I DID NOT expect at all ( that’s why I had no hope for it ). But it’s just SO GOOD, simple and easy to function for the younger people like me out there. The only thing is, when you are logging in your daily symptoms or period symptoms there isn’t an option for aching. A lot of people I know get aching in their back AND in other areas in your body that just take over your body and eventually your body is aching so bad. For me, my main period symptom is this horrible aching in my thighs to my feet and I have no option to log it in. So I was just wondering if you guys could add in a feature to make that an option to log down :) Thank you for making my period regular!!! I seriously recommend it! <3

- Love this but pls take note

I love this app and it is very helpful although it does have some features that I don’t like or would like to improve. Please can you add more options in the daily log, like different feelings, types of medication/vitamins, more types of exercise, any unusual bodily functions, things you ate today, how your skin/hair is etc would be amazing!!!! Also can you please bring back the chat room things where we talk about subjects and offer advice? I loved those and I know that so many other girls did too. Or even can you make a general chat room for girls to talk about anything? That is a request I’ve seen a number of times and I know that Flo users would adore that feature. I definitely support the whole don’t be afraid to talk about your period thing and the videos with famous women about periods are awesome but I reckon the Flo users liked it better when you just had the daily advice and chat rooms. Love the advice too! But can you broaden your advice page to how to deal with relationships and stuff? Thank you so much!!!! I love Flo so much and I only want to see it improve so if you can improve any of these things above that would be amazing! xx

- Good but there are issues

Flo is overall a pretty decent app. It tracks quite accurately, and has a ton of information available for users. My one issue is the app’s attitude towards LGBTQ+ people and matters. I think the app should have a choice at the beginning for what gender you are, so if you don’t identify as female you won’t be misgendered every time you open it. I also have a massive problem with the secret chat, as my comments keep getting deleted. I have ones with lots of likes that are then removed because they violate the policy. I can’t help but notice that they are always the ones in the LGBTQ+ sections, talking about LGBTQ+ topics. I get very annoyed because I’m not discriminating against anyone, not being offensive or swearing excessively, not being political (unless gay is counted—which, in the gay section is very strange), and I’m not promoting anything illegal! It’s always on topic and completely relevant, but they always get removed. This is exceptionally frustrating when I use the app as a way to connect with other queer people/women and need the sense of community; which is impossible when comments get removed. Apart from that, it’s pretty good. Please take this into consideration for future updates.

- 💖🌸AMAZING🌸💖

I’m 13 and I’ve had my period for ages now and so far I haven’t found much apps that are really good. But I saw Flo come up on my Snapchat and I downloaded it, I wasn’t expecting too much as every other app I have tried was horrible. But I love flo! It’s amazing! There are heaps of surveys on there to help you! Of course they are optional. But I absolutely love this app. This app tracks your ovulation, and helps you if your sexually active, and it has a pregnancy tracker in case your planning on getting pregnant or if you are pregnant. You can either have this mode “on” or “off”, of course mine is off but this app is just amazing! I definitely recommend you to this app and I have recommended it to my friends too. There are in store purchases but I’m not sure what they are I’ve never bought anything, it’s completely free. And it’s amazing. I wouldn’t recommend any fix ups, it’s just great.

- Good app, one or two bugs

I love the app in general, it’s easy to use and it logs most of the things I’d like it to. I’ve used it for several years and am quite happy with it. There are currently two bugs irritating me: • when you’re pregnant you can’t edit your due date properly. You have a dropdown menu but you can only make it later not earlier. (The developers have said it’s because the date is tied to your last period. Considering Flo has my BBT data it “knows” full well when ovulation occurred for me and that’s more accurate. Even if they don’t use that date, to match medical practice, it would be wonderful if you could just update the due date once you’ve had a dating scan without having to switch off pregnancy mode, deleting your previous period date, editing it (to be wrong!) and then resuming pregnancy mode. This is a very clunky work around) • Courses regularly flashes that it has new content, but when I go in it only has the same courses listed it had before. This happens about once a week.

- Chat rooms

I don’t know about other age groups but in the 13-17 group there’s a LOT of girls requesting a chat room or something similar for sharing our problems, rather than having to scroll all the way back down through the insights to find one with comments. If any of you developers actually read the comments, you’ll notice how many of them begin with “off topic, but...” To me this really indicates the need for an improved feature on sharing our thoughts and issues. Suggestions: - chat room as an added feature - being able to “favourite” some of the insights so that we don’t have to scroll down - notifications for when someone has replied to our comment - more insights that encourage Flo users to comment on a diverse range of topics (in order to mitigate the “off topic, but...”)

- Great but...

I’m 13 I have had my period for about 3 years. now and I was just scrolling through the App Store looking for a good period tracker because all of my ones tell me over a period of 10 days I could have my period within that time frame but the never actually tell me the date it’s due but I saw this and thought it looked decent so I downloaded it and all I gotta say is I love this app you can get accurate predictions and you can leave anonymous comments on chats but I don’t like how you have to pay for premium I feel like you shouldn’t have to pay to learn about your body and there are a lot of things you can read to find out what to do in embarrassing situations but you have to pay for them those could’ve saved me in a lot of situations but I’m not paying for something we have the right to learn about for free I would’ve given this app 5 stars if i didn’t have to pay for most things

- Almost perfect

I love almost everything about this app, but there are a few certain features that it lacks so I actually have to use it combined with another app. Ovulation test results should also cater for the digital kind, so that you can log low, high and peak fertility- and then the app should adjust the predications accordingly. And on that note- when logging a peak (or positive for the non digital) ovulation test, basal temperatures should still be taken into consideration with the predictions as OPK can show peak but ovulation can still be 12-36 hours away. I love that I can see the cycle days on the calendar, and my predicted period/ovulation days- makes it easy to look ahead when making plans. I do also wish that when logging a miscarriage, that the app would discount all of those days instead of showing as a super long cycle which just throws out all of the other calculations.

- Good but...

It is totally awesome how you can know when I could have my period just in case I forget, and the emotion things and stuff are pretty cool too (no other app that I know has that) but... I’m 11... so yeah... I can’t track my own! I only help my 13 year old cousin with setting it up because she got her period not long ago(she got it about 2 and a half months before her 13th birthday and when she could, she downloaded the app for all the other stuff that isn’t on other apps...because before that she had one that makes age not matter). And most of the 5-6th graders at my school have their period too. And also some 4th grades and 1-5 3rd graders! I really want this app and to rate it 5 stars but I can’t because I’m “too young”. Even if when I’m 13 and I do get this app... I won’t change the rating unless I KNOW younger people can track their periods. Please fix this, Sincerely, this random girl who put too many words into a review...

- I live by my Flo Tracker

My Fav by Far and it really helps prepare me for upcoming Events and outings as well as having the graph I am able to clearly see the changes each month as I want to show my Doctor once I have enough information stored. Would love for example when Ive chosen angry or mood swings if there was option was it caused by work, partner etc because I use the note section alot to write what was the cause but it does not show on the graph. Also alot of questions are off Topic which is a great read and helpful I was wondering can there could be a colour option or Icon to be clicked for Off Topic comments so its easier to get to the gold mine of help and experience for that subject. Lastly its invaluable having other Women of the World to reach out to, THANK YOU DEVELOPERS for this App and making it Free 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

- _Wonderful! SUGGESTION-PLEASE READ

Flo is such a simple and effective app to use, it has everything a girl/woman needs to keep track of her period, ovulation, pregnancy and everything in between. The health insights are an absolutely fantastic idea! To make this app even better, I have a suggestion that I think every person who uses this app would enjoy. In the discussion insights, there are many users who talk about their want for a section just for discussions. The idea is that for there to be another feature, in which everybody can anonymously post their stories, questions and thoughts and feelings, any be able to give and receive advice (especially in the psychological sense). I believe this will make Flo even better, and I speak for everyone. Please take this idea into consideration! Keep up the good work!

- Love it

I absolutely love this app and it helps so much and is very accurate. Usually I’m not exactly regular but a few days off from the last one and it still predicts it perfectly. Flo feels like a personal doctor because it knows me so well AND there is also a great community of people on it to support you. I love that it is anonymous and it talks about issues that need to be discussed and I feel so much better about myself cause everyone just brings me up and shows me I’m not the only person suffering with different things. The only thing that is bad is that if you post something later on you have to find that post again and look. I would rather if there was a section that told you if you got a reply. Other than that I think this app is great and I really recommend it.

- Excellent App overall!!

“Flo” is a fantastic app that effectively caters to its overall purpose, record, predict and calculate the average in your own period cycle and ovulation. As a long-time user, and someone who has a fairly regular cycle, with no children or other medical conditions that could result in irregular periods, I’ve had nothing but a great experience with the app. As a busy woman who forgets when her cycle is coming up, Flo notifies you if your period is coming up soon, but this prediction feature works far better when you log in your period symptoms (bloating, flow level, acne, etc) lastly start and end dates. The user interface is simple and easy to follow when setting up your account plus navigating throughout the app is simple and seem less! Would highly recommend!

- I love it but to improve...

I love the app because its so helpful, informative and easy to use to help track your health. It also suggests articles about your body (such as acne) to improve your overall health and wellbeing. If you want to go the extra mile, you can take courses to provide a more in-depth solution to any problems you may be experiencing by answering questions to make the courses personalised to your advantage. However to improve the app, if some courses and other resources are made free or are more affordable (especially since younger teen girls may be using the app) then I think the app would benefit and be enjoyed more by its wide and diverse audience. I also think if this is changed, Flow could benefit significantly by attracting more users as the app is one of, if not the best app for providing information about health and wellbeing for girls and women.

- Features to add

The app is great and helpful but I feel like a feature that should be added is energy levels or something similar to that, plus with the stress it should allow you to select an option as to why (work, school, personal life, no reason etc.) and more emotions to choose from such as agitated and depressed also in the exercise section walking should be put there as another option other than that everything seems perfect! Other feature that should be added is instead of just having days have times during the days as for example I find I lot of the time my period sort stops or I won’t bleed during the night but will during the day and a lot of the time I’ll start my period very late in the afternoon making the amount of days the app says I have slightly inaccurate

- Not In love with the new update

I used to love the simplicity of this app. I was able to track my period, symptoms and ovulation and get a quick breakdown of the month every time I logged my period and it was perfect. With the update, some of the things I used to love about the app are unavailable without the membership and I get constant pop ups for information about the premium version and quizzes, that if you take will have you at a sign up page to join the premium membership. The constant pestering about the new membership makes me not want to go on and long my period or symptoms because a quick 5 second action now takes a few minutes of adds about premium features. I understand and appreciate the effort that has gone into creating the premium app, but I am at the point where I’m ready to get rid of the app all together as it’s just not what it used to be , and the changes haven’t benefited my experience.

- great app

i love flo! very productive, check on the app almost everyday to see when my next period is! i’m not sure if it’s efficient though because i did put it when i started and finished my period from the last month but the next month i could start days before what the app had said i started. i hope you understand what i mean, sometimes it can’t be 100% efficient also with the pregnancy’s and stuff because i’m young and i’ve definitely know i’m not pregnant or going to be, anytime soon. besides that, i still continue to use it because it’s better than using a regular calendar and counting up the days because my days are very random so i don’t blame the app for not getting the right days. Love the app! Would recommend!

- Good until the latest update

I used to love this app, have been using it for over 2 years. It was accurate and provided a lot of information. Would have easily been 5 stars. That is, until the latest update. Now it asks you to upgrade to premium for any and all information. It gives you a little teaser then automatically directs you to upgrade to premium where you have to pay (but they keep shoving down your throat a free one month trial even though cc details are required for that). Used to be a great free app, not so much anymore. Unfortunately will be looking elsewhere now. Reading the other reviews, they give a stock standard answer as to why they are making more content for premium users only but I read a response from them one year ago saying they valued the free subscribers and would maintain the same level of content for them. Guess they lied and decided they wanted money instead of loyal customers.

- Amazing but please add this update!

Hello, I have been using Flo for about 6 or 7 months now and so far it has been really accurate and very informative to young girls like my self, I have learnt so much not just about periods but about general health and what normal and what’s not. One of my favourite features of the app is how you can share experiences, stories and information anonymously. This may sound weird and TMI but in the days leading up to my period I tend to urinate a lot and I have asked some of my girl friends and even my mum about it and they have also said they have realised it too. I think that excessive urination should be added as a symptom option, I really think it could help women like me. Thanks,

- Super useful for tracking

Love this app, although, I would like it if you could still see when you’re ovulating even with contraception reminders. With the pill if you miss one or are sick you’re more likely to get pregnant - and seeing as no contraception is 100% it would still be good to have your main ovulation day lit up on the calendar regardless of contraception reminders. Other than that, I love the reminder feature. Would like a little more options in pregnancy mode as well. None of the data input options change, despite that there’s heaps more stuff going on in pregnancy that can be logged (like morning sickness, spotting, carpel tunnel, restless legs etc). Had to download a different app during my recent pregnancy, which sucked because I prefer flo and don’t enjoy having a tonne of apps around.

- Good depending on your cycle

I found this good for general tracking and being able to see patterns however as soon as my husband and I started trying to conceive i realised the ovulation prediction was wrong. I have a cycle that moves around up to 5 days, although it is not classed as irregular it’s hard for Flo to predict ovulation. Due to my personal circumstances (hard to track O) i started charting my basal temp - and subscribed to natural cycles. In Natural cycles you can plot the temps, and through that it was easy to find that i ovulated on the 20th day, not 14th. Flo is great if you like to track all yr PMS symptoms, log as much info as much as possible. You can add yr temp in Flo, but natural cycles generates a chart. This saved me some $$ on OP sticks. It’s always down to personal preference. If Flo generated a basal temp chart i’d give it 5 stars.

- Loyalty lost!

I have been using this app for more than 3 years now, and found it very reliable and helpful. It helped me a lot during my first pregnancy, especially the insights, tips, and calendar etc.. So easy and simple to use! BUT for the past few months flo has changed from a lively insightful women's app to a useless space waster on my phone. No notifications whatsoever anymore. At first I thought it was my phone, but when I checked the settings I realised it was because I now have to pay to continue using it. The pregnancy calendar tracker no longer gives insights like it used to. I clicked on the insights a few days ago and was happy to see some information, only to be bitterly disappointed when it disappeared before I was able to read it! That was the last straw, and I have now downloaded another app, and will be deleting yours, seeing as you are now too commercialised to care about your long time users!

- Impressed

I have been using Flo for almost a year now on the free version and loved it to track everything then recently I changed it to the premium just because I had the chance with the free trial and all and all I have to say is wow I’m actually impressed. The the daily guides, info packs and even your cycle summaries are so detailed. If this is the new flo I don’t think I’ll end up going to the free version it’s actually worth paying for now which I never thought I’d say. It’s very informative and the information is so valuable! The only change I’d make is I wish you could custom a few icons and add things like meals etc. or toilet movements but I mean other than that it’s great!

- Great insights and features!

I’ve had this app for a few months now and I absolutely love it! It’s easy to use, has great features for logging symptoms and tracking your menstrual cycle! But the best part of the app are the personalised recommendations! I only have the free version of the app, but I am still given a few custom articles and tips every day that are tailored to fit my symptoms and needs. I rely on this app every day now to search my symptoms or to read about women’s health and educate myself on something new! The app interface is easy to use and you can set a custom background and themes to make it even more personalised! Seriously cannot recommend this app enough!

- Great app but..

I really enjoy using Flo and reading through articles which gives me a better understanding of my body but I am extremely disappointed now that there is a premium feature. We all should be entitled to read information and receive personal data but now we all need to pay for that. I feel there is no need to pay for certain features such as reading articles as you can so easily go onto the internet to find these things out. Everything used to be free and it was helpful but now we need to pay for information about our own cycles. I have had Flo for a few years now and the change has left me disappointed. I love the app but the premium feature doesn’t help.

- Prediction is off

This app isn’t like any other app, it helps a lot! Whatever you’re unsure of Flo has the answers. I’ve used it for about 2 years and other apps aren’t as helpful as Flo. There’s only one thing about Flo I don’t like and that it’s always getting the prediction of my period wrong. It would always say one day late and then two days late. I’m not even sure if I’m able to fix this but it really frustrated me, and worried me. Sometimes my period would skip a month and that REALLY stressed me out. But apparently it was only because of stress. That one little issue with the app is that stressful but regardless it’s a really helpful app. There are articles you can read to help you understand your body and what happens as you get older. I would only wish for the app to fix that issue.

- So helpful!

I love this app. I've been using it for around a year now. When I first got it, and my periods were very regular, the predictions were very accurate and the health insights were really interesting. However, a few months ago, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, making my periods much more irregular (I didn't get one for three months) along with a bunch of other symptoms. It would be good if you could log specific reproductive conditions like PCOS or Endometriosis and get specific insights related to these. That aside, the app has been very useful in my diagnosis and treatment as I have an extensive and consistent log of many cycles when I visit the doctor.

- Amazing!

I just got this app a few days a ago, and I’ve got to say I’m impressed. There are no offers for premium or anything, there articles about your period, and you can change the colour scheme. Nice layout, doesn’t crash so far, and you can have a passcode. There I one thing I think would definitely improve the app though. It would be great to be able to change the actual app artwork and opening screen for when you type in the password. It’s great that you can change the colours when you’re actually in the app, but I’m not really that much of a fan of pink. Ok thanks, keep up the great work!

- Good with clear issues

This is a good tracking app, however some issues affecting usability. Main issues I have are: 1. app takes a long time to start up, with a very non discreet and bright opening page . Not really something I want to open at work and wait to start up. 2. Reminders aren’t very good. I find them very difficult to figure out. It doesn’t automatically start up again for the next cycle, and you miss reminders, turning reminders on is confusing. I think I have turned it on but nothing appears. I end up creating another one, and sometimes I get double the reminders. Not very clear how to use these. If you can please fix this, that would make me want to rely on the app, right now, don’t find it altogether reliable.

- Please read

This app is amazing for tracking your period, but, I feel like it needs more things that you can track, more moods and exercises and I feel like we should be able to add “other” and then add what it is that we felt/did. I also feel like we should get notifications when someone replies to one of our comments, and be able to save or make certain insights stick to the top. It’d be great if you had an online chat room or something where we could post certain things we want to ask too, kinda like yahoo, so we know where to find it and were able to search questions we want answered if we don’t want to ask them ourselves. That’d be great, thank you :)

- The BEST period/women’s health related app!

I was on the hunt for a period tracking app after coming off the implanon and had tried many before Flo and couldn’t understand why i wasn’t happy. Then I found flo. This app is amazing. Tracks your cycle, ovulation, bleeding days, when most likely to get pregnant and when your not, your symptoms EVERYTHING! Plus a super supportive community to post and read. Plus health advice! Thank you so much, this has given me everything I need and more in a period tracking app. I can see myself using this and only this for all my sexual/women’s health needs moving forward.

- THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY DONT DOWNLOAD

I downloaded this app as a free trial. I am pretty onto free trials and don’t mind when they roll over onto a MONTHLY payment. Today I found $77 had been taken out of my account because the free trial has rolled over to a PREMIUM PREGNANCY ASSIST UPGRADE. And they have charged me for a whole YEAR. It’s not even a monthly sub . A whole year. I was happy to go to a monthly subscription so I went on there and changed it to monthly non premium option. And now it’s charging me for ANOTHER $19 Month after this year is up. I can’t believe it. Especially at the moment with covid and struggling with money. I emailed them the SAME day they took the money out and they said they couldn’t help me with my enquiry and told me I have to go through apple. I have now emailed apple to sort out this problem. And will be reporting this company to consumer affairs. Thanks for nothing

- Privacy Concerns

My "personal advice" and "product or service offerings" settings have always been set to OFF, yet I’m constantly bombarded by unsolicited messages in my notification centre! The only way to not get these is to turn off notification for the app altogether but then I won’t get the notifications I have chosen to receive, which completely defeats the purpose of using such an app. I understand a free app will serve ads and have no issue with that if you only did that discretely when I’m using your app. Disregarding my wishes and forcing advice/offers on me is disrespectful and intrusive. If you can’t even respect my chosen settings, how can I trust you to respect the privacy of my health data? I stopped using another popular period tracking app for this exact same reason. I will also never use your app nor recommend it again.

- Have been let down

Have been faithfully using Flow for years while trying to get pregnant. When we finally conceived I was loving the weekly update informing us when our little one is up, what’s developing, what fruit or vegetable equivalent is currently floating around in my fist size baby motel... My baby daddy is stuck interstate while I’m in stage 4 lockdown in victoria so we have loved the updates. Then today, week 14 begins and I’m all “ooo! what’s this week”! only to discover that suddenly i cant access any of this information without upgrading to premium membership for a monthly fee. Content I have had easy access to for the last 14 weeks, with no warning now comes at a cost. I’m sad and disappointed with this underhanded money grabbing and will be looking else where, and advising anyone seeking an app for this purpose to steer clear.

- Great but has a slight glitch

Hi! I love this app. It helps me so much when I first needed it to now, teaching me things my mum couldn’t explain. It is a great tracker and education app abd is everything I need for my changes I highly recommend this app for other girls. Before your most recent update, I was able to do everything. Just after I updated it, I go to community chat, go into one of the topics and pick a chat. However, when I’m done, I press the x button but I can’t access the app no matter how many times I press it. So every time I want to exit or go into another chat, I have to restart the app and it is really frustrating. Please fix this glitch. Thank you!

- Long time user, recently disappointing.

I’ve used this app for about 5 years and it’s been fantastic to help me track my period, mood and sexual activity. Over the past year or so, I have been bombarded with “BUY PREMIUM” messages. This makes sense for extra features, but I am now being asked to pay for features that used to be free. My last pregnancy 3 years ago gave me a couple of helpful tips about baby’s growth and how to manage pregnancy. My current pregnancy - all of this information is locked behind a paywall! In my opinion, this is lazy of the developers to put content that used to be free in the “premium” package. Why not add more new amazing features in premium? Instead you chose the easy road that exploits users for minimum effort on your part.

- This is be great good

I can kinda keep track of my period so I don’t get it in the middle of class and be unprepared so I don’t need to get someone’s jumper and steal it for the day to only wear around my waist and everyone low key know I got it but go throughout my day refusing to acknowledge the fact that people know then getting home and crying about it and eating ice cream then cry about eating ice cream because I’m lactose intolerant and I get sick then having to stay home because I’m so sick from having ice cream then coming back to school and having no one ask why I was away or if I’m ok because know one cares .... 5 stars 🤩

- Best! I adore it!

This has to be one of my all time favourites! To have super accurate predictions you have to log at least once every three days, your mood, exercise, symptoms etc. I don’t have Flo premium but I know that have super detailed, well researched, fantastic programs, for acne and skincare, mental health and even Covid! They also have this thing which I ADORE. It’s called Secret Chats, where you can talk anonymously about experiences and discuss all sorts of topics, from periods, to crushes, to music etc. it sounds like I’m sponsoring or something but I just love this app so much. It’s even good at tracking inconsistent periods. I’m in awe. 💖

- The best app for girls!

This is honestly the best app to get for any situation for any girl. It tracks your cycle accurately and they have these “secret chats” which is just a chat room filled with different topics like health and friendships, relationships ect. And all these women come together to share their stories and tips to help out other women and it is so helpful because you can always find the help you need. It’s just absolutely amazing and the app itself giving you different options on how to deal with your period is exceptional and I’m in love with the whole algorithm of the app. Love, love, love it!!!

- Decent app but with room for improvement

This is probably my favourite period-tracking app, after trying several. The aesthetics are pleasing and it reliably predicts my day of ovulation. I wish I could record ovulation pain as a symptom, but without that option have had to guess the days I’m ovulating and record as a positive ovulation test. Where the app really falls down is in pregnancy mode - I don’t know why, but it’s calculations for due dates and how far along you are are always incorrect (out by about a week). I’d love to be able to use the pregnancy mode calendar to be able to click on any date and see how far along I’ll be by then, but can’t use it for that given the inaccuracies in dating.

- Pretty good, but...

The app is great apart from the fact they allow their user base to post opinions on certain aspects of pregnancy. They claim these posts are moderated but there’s such a high volume of ill informed personal opinions being presented as expert medical opinions on the app. If you’re going to present current advice on what you can/can’t eat, do or whetever during pregnancy, it needs to come from evidence expert professional opinion bodies, not from the user base. The sheer numbers of antivaccination propaganda users posting advice on this app is extremely off putting and I am going to look for a new app. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money. Was good as a period and fertility tracker, but is a dangerously informed and judgmental pregnancy support app.

- Was good but now it’s not

I loved this app until you made every feature accessible only if you have a subscription! Not long ago I loved this app due to it’s helpful cycle/ conception insights that were very knowledgeable and was some what accessible to most people. Understandably, there were still some features behind a paywall, but in general it was great. Now the free version has none of these features! Considering the financial hardship many people are currently going through, it would’ve been great if the app still had some of those free features. Now it is just a boring app that just tracks your periods and logs your symptoms. With regret, after sticking out for a while - I will now be transferring back to your competitors apps as a result.

- Great app, needs more discreet layout

I love the app, it has helped me work out my own idiosyncrasies around my cycle. The only thing I would like changed is that sometimes I enter my information at work (because I remember to enter data in the moment) and I have in HUGE writing announcing I have had X type of discharge from the health insights. As much as I think periods shouldn’t be shameful, I also don’t want my (mostly male) coworkers accidentally looking at my screen and knowing I have logged PMS symptoms. I think this is a simple fix with some font size changes and less obvious headers, or by making the wording of the headers less detailed.

- Very good App

It's the best app I have used. Fell pregnant first time when using it. Love the informative articles and quizzes it gives you. I've learnt so much in a short space of time. Liked the pregnancy tracking when I turned it on. It didn't cater for miscarriage though, but that's ok. Still think it is the best app out there. An improvement I'd like to suggest is recording the time you take your temperature and the ability to plot an adjusted marker by half a degree (+/-) for every half hour different to the regular temp taking time. Thanks for a terrific app, keep up the excellent work...!

- Great app - one suggestion

Simple. Easy to use. You can put as much or as little detail in as you choose. I also love the little quizzes and educational information posts. I have just started using an ovulation kit and noticed that most kits aren't just a case of "positive" or "negative" - would be great if the app could reflect those kits a little better. Eg: the type I'm using will show a blank circle on low/no chance days, a flashing smiley face on possible chance days (leading up to ovulation) and a solid smiley face on the "positive" day of ovulation

- Latest update is bad!!

Have loved using this app for years but your latest update is grossly geared towards pushing users to upgrade to paid premium. All the suggested articles and insights are only showing premium content since I updated it! I do not want to upgrade to premium. I have to now search for key words to read non premium content, rather than just scroll through the news feed for articles that have been suggested to me based off my data input - what is the point of insights now if I can’t read any of it?? PLEASE revert this back to its old way. I love the new interface, but apps that only push for paid users are a HUGE turn off.

- Accurate and so far helpful!

I’ve been using this app for years now to track my period and sexual activity. It is definitely accurate with tracking my cycle and periods, especially when I get a little cranky, I know that my periods is coming! What would be super helpful is having a temperature record. We are trying for a baby and am recording my temperature every day to help track ovulation and there’s no place for it. Unless it’s in the paid app instead? EDIT: Thank you for the response re temperature - I found it! 💚

- Slight bug

Hi, I’ve been using this app for months and I can say in general the app is great. You can log symptoms, moods and other factors quite easily. However, recently I noticed a slight problem. I’ve seen that in every update the app has ‘added more daily logs’, however that hasn’t been the case for me. When I visit the daily log page, it only ever shows the ‘Fitness Myth: You’ll Burn More Fat on an Empty Stomach’ post, which is crazy as I always expected the different posts. I’ve also been having difficulty locating the Flo Premium section in my app, so I’m currently quite confused.

- Flo 5.0 is disappointing

I have been using Flo for quite a few months and received a lot new and interesting information from its “insights” section. The “insights section” had a balance of free content for all users and paid content for premium users. So EVERYONE was able to learn more about their periods. ISince 5.0 update, the insights section is almost EXCLUSIVELY for paid users. Which excludes users from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. And this exclusions feels like a contradiction against Flo’s values and positioning as an INCLUSIVE brand. The main function non paying users can use is the period tracker (which we can do with our personal calendars) and the chat groups. So the appeal of Flo educating women on their periods has really gone if you’re unable to be a paid subscriber.

- Helpful

Excellent

- Whats the big deal?

Honestly i dont really care if facebook knows when im having my period. I dont care if everyone knows im on my period, in fact i would like them too know. So people need to stop freaking out over the fact that our data is going to facebook. This is a great app over all

- Sharing data with Facebook

Flo shared private data with Facebook. Not the way to go.

- Pretty good

It’s a great app, it lets you track your feelings, your weight, symptoms etc. Also, it’s quite accurate and it lets you log any day as your period if it does come unexpectedly. The only problem I have is when you add your age, you must be 13 or older to log your period. And it irritates me as I’m 11 and many girls my age and even younger get their period at such a young age. Anyways, overall this app is great for tracking your periods and cycle. Goodbye now.

- Offensive insights

The features of this app are good, and I like the functionality and interface. After using it for 3 months, it’s quite accurate. However, I find some of the “insights” to be offensive. Recent insights I’ve received include a post about making sure your vagina smells good, and a survey asking about “homosexual” sex. It’s clear that this app is not designed or maintained by women. I’ll be switching to a different app.

- Articles on vagina smell?

This app was so annoying. The only upgrade options are monthly pay subscriptions which were very pricey and as soon as I opened true app there were two back to back articles on a) hoe to make sure your vagina doesn’t smell and b) do men like the smell of vaginas. Are you f’ing kidding me? So sexist.

- Late by

This new update removed the late for period by x days and now for each day late it just puts the start of your next period for the following day. It seems much less helpful now. It no longer tells you when you were originally expected to start bleeding

- What happened?!

I loved this app up until a few weeks ago when it started spamming my phone like crazy about things that I am not interested in and are somewhat offensive. I have played with the settings to no avail and contact support who told me to turn off the notifications all together. But I do want the ones relevant to me! I’m disappointed to uninstall.

- The app is good but...

Flo is good app but I find it creepy how it knows when I am late for my period. I don’t tell it anything and somehow it just knows and most of the time it doesn’t even get it on the right days.

- Belle application mais..

La Fonction graphique n’est pas suffisante.. il n’y a rien pour visualiser sa température, etc.

- App review

Great app, very easy to follow and understand. Its not the basic boring app, it has tons of information and interesting facts based on your symptoms as well

- Hey look..

I love being able to track my period and I like how accurate it is. Secret chats are fun too. Good design all around too. My issue comes with the personal assistant telling me it has concerns over something I logged and asking me to take this survey to check for things that may need to be brought to a doctor’s attention, then slams me with asking me to pay premium. Like. If I have possible reason for concern over my health, on a very accurately made app, but it hits me with that? That just seems insensitive and money-hungry. I understand making money. I just think that way of doing it is.. morally wrong.

- Pretty Good!

I’ve been using this app since I got my period (a month after I turned 10) and it’s great. It’s really fun to track what’s happening inside your body as it’s happening and through the years it’s always been accurate. I’ve never run into Facebook data issues but I am a tiny bit offended by the talk of making your vagina smell good and the articles about sexuality. It seems to me that it’s an app made for women, by men. I apologize if I’m wrong but it’s just kind of mean. Blood it coming out of me how am I supposed to smell good?? Anyway, overall it’s a good app. 👌

- Did they take secret chats off of flo?!

Secret Chats were amazing and now I can’t find them in the appl please help!!

- Use a different app

It used to be really good and informative but now it just wants you to upgrade to give any information. Not worth it! There’s a thing called google which is free.

- Great just needs more options

When it comes to the physical activity and what not, there should be more options, such as house cleaning, basic walking, running errands, etc. There should also be a spot to put in the things you were craving if you had cravings. Maybe even a spot about what you ate that day?? Otherwise i like it!

- Would be 5 star but

This app is great overall! Predictions are usually accurate if you use the app correctly! However, recently when viewing cycle reports or other reports, the reports don’t finish the way they did before. the payment screen shows up to purchase additional access and the report freezes and won’t continue. I would like to finish viewing the rest of my report that is available with free access. Hopefully this can be fixed!

- Premium?

Great app, but the premium thing is really annoying. All the stuff that’s important is blocked off from girls who can’t pay for premium or are too scared to ask their parents. I would suggest making less article and whatever just for premium members. That’s definitely the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.

- Change things

I really love flow it’s a great app and gives you notifications before you get you’re period but only one problem I would like more symptoms and it to be nicer looking kinda like the Eve app all of the symptoms are cute and pretty and there are a lot to choose from which is good.

- Very user friendly!

Easy to use! No complaints!

- Love it!

I've never kept track of my monthly cycles until I stared using Flo app. Now when doctors ask date of last period I always know which date to provide. Also when I'm feeling more emotional than usual, I'll check the app to see when that time of month is.. if it's week before I immediately calm down knowing I'm not having a problem with any issues except my hormones. Love it!

- don’t recommend if u r young like me

i’m 11 years old (born in 2008) and it won’t let me say my real age!!! i really don’t want to lie bc this stuff is rly important!! you guys should definitely change that bc u can get ur period when your as young as 8 :((

- Good intentions, not executed so well.

While I think this app has good intentions, it doesn’t always execute it well. -Forums seem at first like a good idea, but they don’t always work out. In sections where younger people who got their periods more recently are talking, a lot of misinformation is being spread, which I believe could have a long term impact on someone reading. The problem is that the people giving answers are just as clueless as those seeking them. -This app is very gendered. It constantly talks about people who have periods as ‘girls’ or ‘women’. They ignore the fact that not everyone who gets a period is a women, and standards like that can cause a lot of hurt to those who get periods but do not identify as female. Otherwise, it’s an alright app for tracking periods. I just found it very hard to use because the amount of misinformation spread through this app bothered me. I feel like just a period tracker would have been enough.

- Disappointing

The info was helpful for the first 2 trimesters, but I felt abandoned in the 3rd! As someone expecting their first child, I was really hoping to rely on and utilize the info and support provided particularly during the final stretch of my pregnancy. Instead the weekly articles started to become less frequent and were shorter in length. It really felt like no effort was made to write them at all. There were even grammar and spelling mistakes during the 39th week, which just seems lazy. There definitely could have been more info about labor, birth, and what the baby/my body were doing during the final few weeks. Disappointing!

- Application Flo

Je trouve votre application très bien faite dans le sens où les articles sur la santé des femmes sont super utiles pour moi

- My girlfriend isn’t getting accurate info!

Please add the birth control dlc

- PAY???

I HAVE TO PAY TO TRACK MY PERIOD???? THATS SO STUPID IM ALREADY ANNOYED ENOUGH JUST HAVING THE PERIOD I JUST WANNA BE ABLE TO TRACK IT😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

- But why

- Love it.

I love it but it says ages 12+ and i’m 12 but on the app it says 13+ and I think it’s annoying because whenever I write something in the secret chats flo always deletes my messages for being “under age”. It’s unfair because I can’t find any other app with my age range, other then that I love it.

- i didnt even start T-T

i downloaded the app, right? i went in the app. AND when they asked for the year i was born in....they really said “nObOdy before the age of 13 can start” OR SUM LIKE THAT. i get that i can use a different app, but hah?? GIRLS ALSO GET PERIODS BEFORE 13 TOO. smh

- Used to be better

I have been using this app since before it had a subscription. I was WAY better back then. I use this app to track my Flo and nothing more. The insights were good when I could just look through them but now I just get notifications I cannot turn off and the app just pushes me to pay.

- A man must have taken over Flo

When I first started using the app, a lot of content was free & I didn’t get ads every time I opened it or tried something. None of the app is for anyone heading into or during peri menopause. So I have to wonder how useful the app is and if there’s some dude getting money from women!

- paywalls everywhere

99.9% of flo’s features (especially the ones that are, you know, actually useful) are blocked by paywalls. it’s ridiculous. all of the language used in the app is painfully cisnormative as well so it’s a one star from me.

- They charge for everything...

This app was great until they started charging to see any info at all. Now it’s crap.

- Paid version is a letdown

I’ve used this app for years and since they’ve brought paid content, there is such limited information available for free now. I used this (free) during my first pregnancy and had they had such great info and now pregnant again, I’d have to pay for all the info that was once free. A big letdown.

- Suggestion!!

So I love this app, it’s a lifesaver for knowing when my period is coming as well as the community section is great! I can talk about issues I can’t talk to anybody else with but I do have a suggestion. We should be able to track our smell, cause yes most times it is normal but it is still good to be able to track. There should also be symptoms that we can track that are infection symptoms for if people don’t know about those infections they can know to go to a doctor instead of suffering. It would of really helped me when I had a yeast infection.

- Women aren’t the only ones who have periods

Could you add a category for trans men or AFAB non-binary people? Women aren’t the only ones who get periods, there’s some other people who get them too.

- Great so far

I really enjoy how information is shared on this app - I feel like it’s well tailored to my experience moment to moment!

- Great app but...

This is a great app but when I look at the calendar it’s hard to see the current day. You should make it easier to see

- Best Health App

I almost never spend money on an app. After using this one for free for long enough, I caved and purchased the Pro version. Very worth it. My sexual and mental health is very important to me, and this app helps me keep track of how I’m feeling and my activity. Even more than that, every day there is more information I learn through the app that I apply to my life. Highly recommend.

- Disappointed

When I came off birth control to start trying to have my son, I just needed an easy spot to track my period. While there were some other bells and whistles that were interesting, that was really all I ever used it for. Now a couple of years later, it’s essentially unusable for that purposes without paying for a subscription. All I want to do is enter my period dates, and I have to watch/click through ads (multiple) to do that? It’s way out of hand.

- ...

It use to be a great app...until they updated it and you have to literally pay for everything. It’s very pricey as well. Imagine being young and just wanting to get some insight on your body, and people are trying to make profit off of that...that’s shady. I honestly do not recommend this app.

- Don’t bother unless you’re willing to pay

Honestly Flo used to be good but now it’s garbage. You can’t access anything without paying for premium. Not even the “health insights” that used to be free. They went from being a great source of information and period tracking to being a money grab. You could say the whole community aspect makes up for it but that has way more to do with the users than the app. The app seems to want to start divisive conversations and often asks really outdated and sexist questions. Seriously thinking of deleting it.

- not like it used to be

i’ve been using flo for almost 6 years now and so many things have changed, and i don’t say that in a good way. nothing is free anymore, you have to pay for everything.

- Is is free

It is free or not

- Was super good until the premium happened

I feel like its the best app but the premium thing is so annoying specially when you’re in the middle of reading something and then you cant continue cuz you have to pay for premium to continue it.

- Money grab

The app was really helpful in tracking my period and throughout my pregnancy. Now at the end I need to subscribe to read the same things I’ve been reading for the past nine months. Used to look forward to reading them every week. I don’t need to be told about how the premium has x, y, and z. I will look elsewhere (for free) for the exact same information. Absolutely disappointing that the app had decided to do everything for money.

- All women should use this app!

I started using this app to track my periods after being on birth control for 8 years. I really love this app and recommend it for a few reasons. First, you give as much or as little information about your period you like. The more information the better obviously. It is very easy to use. Secondly, the information this app provides you is very helpful. I’ve had my period for 15 years now and this app has still taught me things about my period. Some things that I have not even heard from professionals! This app understands that all bodies are different and give you all the info they can! Also, they have different discussion tabs on various topics. I love that you can I read and respond to real people who need advice or have shared their experiences! It is truly beneficial. My only complaint is that it was more of a forum. I want to know if people respond to what I say and be able to keep topics up to see past discussions. But still a 5 Star app!!!!

- Perfect perfect perfect!

I got this app when I started my first period (I’m 14) and it’s AMAZING! Not only does it have a very complex period tracker, where you can improve your predictions by sharing your weight, mood, blood flow, etc, but there is so much more! You can read short articles that answer some questions you might not feel comfortable asking other people and get courses. But by far my favorite part is the community section. This is where there are dozens of categories like healthy eating, periods, exercise, stress, makeup, relationships, and teens. Inside those categories are questions that people can answer, including you! The answers to these variety of questions are better than any type of social media. There can be heart warming high school sweetheart stories, embarrassing first period stories, relatable hilarious rants, and informative stories. I could scroll for hours, laughing and liking comments. This app really makes me feel safe and part of a community.

- Great app! A few suggestions

I downloaded this along with the next top 5 period apps after having already tried a period tracker/birth control app with a paid subscription that wasn’t working for me. After trying all of them, Flo was the winner in my trials. There was one other app that had similar symptom trackers with more options which I liked, however I didn’t like the forced forum and some other things mostly having to do with a lack of class. Flo was a great alternative and has the option to track your symptoms with your cycle which I really like because let’s face it- it’s all connected! One thing I’d like for the app to improve however is to allow for more mood and symptom options. For instance, I may be anxious, but I’m not necessarily panicky. I don’t feel that describes the mood. Or cranky, not necessarily angry. Even apathetic. Also, I get gassy ALOT (sorry for the TMI) and that’s not the same as bloated to me. I’d like to log that in the app as a built in option. Other than those two things, I really love the app! Thanks for this!

- Amazing and super accurate

Ok so let’s start off positive! This app is amazing! I have been using it for about a year now and it is very user friendly and helpful! It gives health insights on what is happening during your cycle, you are able to log your symptoms (which there are a lot of choices and they are very realistic), and they also have secret chats were you can an anonymously connect with other women and ask questions and get answers from real people! With the health insights, they have articles with answers on questions that you may have in everyday life! So the only reason that I give this app a 4 star instead of a 5 is because of ✨premium✨. Ok y’all, I’m already spending enough money on period products in general, no way do I want to pay MORE MONEY to get basic things in the app!!!! You already get a lot without premium, but for real though, ✨premium✨ on a PERIOD TRACKING APP?!?!? I mean, honestly, that is just rude at this point. BUT!!! I do understand that companies have to make money some how. So please no hate! Thank you!!!!

- Community is raunchy and TMI, extra tabs are upsetting

Great lady-time tracking, it always predicts mine correctly. However, the community forum asks personal q’s about sex lives, and because it’s anonymous, the ladies give waaaay TMI. Creeps me out. Wish I could block it. (Especially if I had a daughter using this app, I wouldn’t want her reading that stuff.) I had a miscarriage while using this app, so I’ve seen the pregnancy insights tabs. I agree with previous reviewer that they hardly give any insights or info, especially in a time where you crave more and more knowledge about your body. Which is WEIRD because the period insights are plentiful, and they are all things I learned as a preteen so they aren’t helpful either. And when I miscarried, these period insights came back and discussed contraceptives in a way that just wasn’t palatable at that sensitive time of mine... AND Now that I feel better, the insights tabs won’t shut up about miscarriage. Wish I could block this tab as well. In conclusion- this app would be WAY better if it was simply a period/ovulation/pregnancy tracker. The extra stuff they added just upsets me.

- Thoughts from a virgin

Overall, I love Flo! I appreciate the extremely helpful health tips about how my body works as a woman! Ways to improve my health and understand more about my moods and and when to expect emotional challenges has been a huge asset for me. It has also helped me to be more understanding of other ladies, with the knowledge of what physical changes they could be facing as well. One note!!! I am a Christian and a virgin, with a strong desire to avoid sexual arousal and discussion at all costs. Obviously, much is unavoidable in today’s world, but could you help me out? Could changes be made for the sexually inactive so that people like me don’t have to constantly “hide” info about sex and hope it doesn’t pop up again? It’s not a part of my life until I marry, and I have many other pursuits that crave my attention. Health insights, diet choices, water info, stable home life pros, etc, are all great! A change or choice somewhere on the app to avoid all sexual content would be AWESOME!!! And I would whole heartedly recommend Flo to my friends.

- Great app!

Td; lr: After a few months of use, this app alerted me that I have symptoms similar to PCOS. I went to the doctor and they confirmed my diagnosis. Thank you Flo for being the first to realize I had this disorder!! I started using this app casually in February 2018. I noticed I had some pretty irregular periods and I figured I should actually start tracking it. I knew my husband and I also wanted to start trying for a baby eventually and thought it would be good information to know. In October 2018, after consistently logging my periods the app alerted me that I have logged symptoms that can look like PCOS. It had me take an additional survey for more information and recommended I get further testing. I went into the OBGYN, who scoffed at the idea of an app diagnosing such a disorder since I do not look like the typical person who has PCOS. An ultrasound and some bloodwork later, confirmed that I do indeed have PCOS and the nurse asked which app I used so she could recommend it to others.

- Great App, But Needs More

After finding out that the period app that I had been using loyally for 8 years was closing indefinitely I knew I really needed to find another period app and fast. I’m very skeptical when it comes to period apps, and I have used others in the past, but I always went back to my primary app. The other apps were either too complicated, invasively informative, you could only see one cycle, and/or completely inaccurate. I decided to give this one a chance although I wasn’t anticipating on liking it at all. Within 5 minutes of playing around on this app I totally fell in love. I love that this app is informative without being invasive or assuming the worst. I like that this app allows a little personalization to really make it yours. The only thing I wish is that there were more symptoms available to log. It is a bit difficult to log mood or other symptoms since there are so little. Other than that, this app is absolutely great, and I am so happy I found a hopefully permanent replacement app.

- LOVE this app!! but just one problem...

Flo is an amazing app that has tons of great features allowing me, a young teenager to track my health and learn more about my body. It even has secret chats where you can talk to other females anonymously and relate to each other on problems from heavy period flow, to taking care of braces! It’s truly is a great app that is designed wonderfully. My only problem with it is that there are so many health insights that talk about the topics I am most curious about, but you have to pay for the subscription to read most of them!! It’s very frustrating and I just wish they would unlock some of the articles for young people like me who can’t really pay for the subscription but still want to learn more about their body. Other than that small concern, this app is amazing and I would recommend it to any female whether you are new to periods, have had them for years, or even want to track your pregnancy.

- Love the app but a possible bug

I really love this app, especially since I have been irregular my whole life and am now on BC to regulate, and this app is great for tracking periods and keeping track with my BC. That being said, I very heavily rely on the pill reminder function, and have it set to repeat until I take it. However, for some reason sometime the app will not send my scheduled reminder seemingly out of nowhere, and I will completely forget to take my pill or just end up taking it super late (please don’t judge me, I just really don’t think about the time consciously when it comes to my pill). It happens usually once a week or so, and it didn’t use to do that a few months back. I never had problems with this before, but sometimes the app will just not remind me, but most days it sends me a reminder every 20 minutes until I log my intake. It’s a bit frustrating, so I thought I would review to let the developers know. Otherwise, I love this app and all of its little functions that are so helpful!

- I used this app, and it helped me get pregnant!

I had been using this app for a long time and it was pretty spot on for my cycles. When we were trying to get pregnant we took the necessary steps on the day the app told me I was ovulating and lo and behold, I got knocked up! We had been very casually trying for a few months but what was kind of nice is I knew depending on the timing, and the app the odds of me getting pregnant. I ended up finding out the day I was supposed to get my period according to the app! Fast forward through 9 months of pregnancy and 3 months without a cycle, I redownloaded. I give it four stars whereas it would have gotten 5 because previously it was clean and simple. The moment i set it up it’s trying to sell me subscriptions and I’m just not about it. It also has a bunch of odd features “bumping” me like my flow strength. Maybe it’s for someone, but not something i need to move at me when I open it. Love the functionality though! Great for natural family planning as a means of birth control AND conceiving!

- 💕

I LOVE this app so much. It helps me keep track of my cycle in such a simple and, surprisingly, fun way! Only thing I wish this app had is more options for Queer women and non-binary/trans people in terms of options for the type of sex we’re having/who our partners are. I am currently dating someone of the same sex. I do not use the app to track if I’m going to get pregnant, but just to track my health and when my periods are. There should be more options for gender, type of sexual experiences people are having and anything else that helps the various genders/sexualities that experience periods track their health. Even though these things may not have an effect on our cycles directly, I feel that this app is about accurate data and there’s data I can’t input. This app is also SO positive about sexual activity and sex health, so I feel it should be more inclusive. Straight, cis women are not the only people who have periods! I also wish there was a “lack of appetite” option in symptoms. I frequently experience this with my periods.

- Love this app!!

I love this APP! I love how you can add daily activities and symptoms and it will adjust accordingly or make cycle predictions! It’s super simple and reliable! However, my one wish is that it had an option to add if you are/were on BC because I truly believe that would help even more with cycle predictions. I came off my BC in January after having a set 28 day cycle for two years and obviously my body took some time to adjust back to its natural cycle; and instead of having the option to include this, the app would just tell me my period cycle lasted longer than normal. To be fair, I never tracked my cycle before going on BC ( I wasn’t doing any activities that required me to do so until I met now now husband) so off of BC I don’t know what my cycle length is so I’ve been trying to adjust my settings in the app accordingly, but having the option to log BC I think would make this process a lot easier. Other than that one wish I am completely satisfied with this app and highly recommend it to anyone!

- Only accurate twice in the past two years

I downloaded this app after my sister recommended I try it to keep track of my irregular periods. Over the past two years, this app has accurately predicted my period twice. Every other period prediction has been way off by at least two-three weeks. Then, this morning, when I opened the app to log my sleep time, it deleted all my period history and prompted me to enter my past five-six periods to “help make your predictions more accurate.” I could only remember my last period (which was back in late April), so I filled in those dates. Flo then recalculated my cycle at 65 days (!) I was at 55 days as of yesterday; why would Flo add 10 days after I entered the exact same period dates? It has been mentally exhausting manually entering in period dates to correct Flo’s errors every time I get my period. Thankfully, I am seeing an endocrinologist in August who might shed some light into my bizarre cycles. Also, I’m not a fan of the whole “upgrade to premium to get special health insights and access to our online community”. I shouldn’t have to pay the developers for an app that has wasted my time these past two years. Goodbye Flo, and good riddance.

- Changed my start and end dates on its own and can’t change them back

I used to really love this app but I recently noticed that this app will automatically change your period dates to fulfill cycle lengths. I recently got off the pill because my boyfriend and I are trying to conceive. I was late by 3 days because of that, so when I charted when my period started it automatically went back and changed my previous period dates to fit within predicted cycle lengths. I know this because I screenshot the dates on the graphs and they did not match. I also know this because I went on a trip last month and had finished my period the day before we left. Now all of a sudden the calendar is showing that I was on my period the day I left. It automatically moved my dates because of the fact I received my period a few days later this month. There is no way to edit the dates or change them back and makes this app inaccurate and misleading. How can an app just change your dates on its own so that your days will fit in a more normal and predictable cycle length? Very disappointed. I will not continue to use this app.

- It’s great but it’s not

So don’t get me wrong . I have been using this app for 3 years and it’s kept track perfectly. I love being able to see when or roughly when my period should start and it’s saved me sometimes like outfit planning or just mentally preparing myself. Not only did they kept track of your period the app had tips and stuff and a WIDE VARITY of things. And when I was 15 and exploring high school and teen life it was super helpful. Now I’m 18 and trying navigate adulthood but now most of those tips you have to pay for, and when I saw this I was actually really upset. Like it’ll say “oh you logged you were stress today here’s some tips to help” *click* “pay $3.99 to view tips and helps etc.” and it’s like really ?? I think that is so sad and messed up. Like here we are as women who barely get taught about our bodies to begin with but now I finally found a app that was helping figure out my body and help and now I have to pay ? Idk it finest sit well with me. But it tracks just fine.

- Great! A couple suggestions..

This app is AMAZING. I use it all the time to track my period and I wouldn’t get any other app. But I do have a couple app suggestions that I’ve seen a lot of other women suggest too! -premium issues Even though the sole way to make a profit is through premium, a lot of us don’t enjoy having the premium feature, as we would like to learn a bout our bodies for free. This is your choice, though. - Pad/Tampon timer. We would like to have a reminder as to when we should change our pad/tampon, because I along with many others are forgetful. This make also prevent bacteria from building up because you may have left it in too long. -Quizzes and surveys We LOVE the surveys and quizzes here on Flo, and we would appreciate some more! -Chats Some of the girls that I’ve seen requested a chat so they can talk with other females on there period and just connect. I personally don’t like this idea as much, but it’s something! -Healthy Habits I think a healthy habits tab would be a great idea! It can include healthy eating habits, dealing with cramps, staying clean, and much more. This can educate and help tons of people. -Accuracy This isn’t a new idea, but I feel as if the accuracy could be refined a little more. I understand You can’t just Predict a women’s period, as it’s just way to hard, but I feel this could be made a bit more accurate. Thank you for Understanding! -Alissa

- Useful tracking, lacking in insight

This app has many choices for tracking health activity, but provides little to no useful information. It’s mainly loaded with comments from women trying to conceive and asking for help or prayers, but the app itself provides no content in that regard. Furthermore, once I did conceive, it erased all the data I entered for my last period, so that that few days were marked as the beginning of my pregnancy. I can’t show my doctor the marked difference between most periods and that one (I believe - and hope - that it may not have been a true period), as it’s been totally erased, and therefore I believe the due date I’ve been given could be incorrect. I completely avoided all favorable days in the month I conceived, according to Flo, because I did not wish to have a baby at a certain time of year, but ended up with a due date at exactly that time. It has also told me countless times that I log sex most frequently on Sunday and won’t stop showing it as though it’s a new notification. Would love to delete it, but feel like I should hang on to the data until my baby is born.

- Good Overall

So I love this app overall and it is pretty consistent when predicting when I am going to have a period. I love how it gives me insights on things that I might be worried about and I can talk to other people in the same position! And I especially love it because it is the only app I have that doesn’t have ads!! But there is this bug that may just be my phone but I am not sure. When I try to open the app, it loads then it glitched and just goes back to my home screen so it is hard to actually get into the app. Besides that bug, this app is great and I totally recommend it! I am just a teenager and parents, if you are reading this, if your daughter needs a period tracker, I suggest this one because it allows her to know when her period is going to be, it allows her to see maybe problems she may face and how to solve those problems or just facts that she maybe curious about. In this app I especially love being able to interact with girls that may face the same struggles!!

- DO NOT UPDATE!

I've been using Flo for over a year now. It's the best period tracking app I've found, but as many other users have complained, it was much better BEFORE the 5.0 update. So many of Flo's loyal users like me were upset and felt a bit betrayed when they took away so much from the free content and made it premium. I will say that the new app looks a lot cooler, more elegant, etc and I realize that costs money to develop, but I think Flo should listen to what their users want instead of being money-grubbing and trying to make us pay for stuff we were getting for free for years. Take a look at the in-app message board and here in the reviews: it's obvious that the VAST majority of your users are upset about the new update and want the old version back. I know it won't happen, but it is what it is. I'll continue to use Flo but I refuse to ever upgrade to premium, especially now. I would've never updated if I'd realized I was gonna lose free content and features. If it wasn't for the update, this would be a 5 star review.

- love this app but ...

this is a great app !! i absolutely LOVE the community section ! and it tracks my period well . i have only one complaint though .. so in the community section i understand that you must delete some comments for certain reasons , but i do not understand why you delete the ones that are helpful towards others . example : someone had said they wanted to commit suicide and i was trying to give meaningful input so they would be safe . but you deleted their message saying they wanted to commit AND my message offering my support . i didn’t give out any personal information or anything , just saying things to help her feel better . that’s all i have a problem with . other than that i give the app 5 stars for its amazing use . the 3 stars are just for that moment bc it was a situation where something could have gone wrong if the helpful comments hadn’t stayed long enough for her to read . ~h✨

- I got a DUD!!!

due to the 5 stars and amazing reviews etc, I had high hopes for tracking my period responsibly. HOWEVER, mine has a glitch...when the app asked me to confirm my email address, the app never sends the verification information over to my email...THUS, it’s useless. Please fix this? I have the iPhone XR, my husband bought it for me, he serves in the military and I shouldn’t be receiving an app that has a glitch? He didn’t pay all this money and definitely doesn’t work till he can’t open his eyes just for me to try to track my period. Get with it apple, it’s 1 star for this app. I would give it zero, but that option wasn’t available, don’t waste your time with this app. DL another menstrual cycle app, as an adult woman pursuing her college degree, my husband soaring in his military career, my options to have children or not should not be burdened by a glitch app, especially for the iPhone XR, O N E S T A R. sorry! not, sorry.

- Not great for conceiving

For years we have tried to conceive and there have been no medical reasons found as to why we cant... Docs suggested we use some of the cool apps out there to track my cycle and ovulation consistently. We tried several but really liked he layout of this one beat. Despite the layout the app does not work for the purpose we needed. The basil body temp feature does not line up with its ovulation predictor. After several months of use and closely monitoring my basil body temp and using ovulation tests (which this app does not track, the tests). It still predicted my ovulation date based on the typical women's cycle and not when my basil body temp and test showed it be. The app always showed my ovulation day to be 3-4 days prior to the actual day (despite me updating the basil temp calendar DAILY). 3-4 days makes a huge difference when trying to conceive. It worked out better for us to just track the basil temp on our own and predict the day of ovulation from that. No point for the entire app to do that. We would never get pregnant of we believed there calendar vs my actual bodies calendar.

- Ongoing Glitches

I’ve been using Flo since April and we’ve still had no luck conceiving. We also use ovulation test strips, which have yet to align with Flo’s suggested ovulation dates. The app is also really glitchy for me. Sometimes if I log information one day, and then when I go back in the app the next day, my information is gone. Or even more frustrating, all of the days for the past few days have all shifted back by one day. I can tell because I travel a lot for work and I note when and where I’m flying. It all gets randomly jumbled for no reason. It’s maddening. The most frustrating bit, though is that the app will just change my period dates or ovulation dates randomly. Even if I haven’t taken any tests or had any additional symptoms, my dates just move around. Today, for example, my ovulation dates moved from day 18 to day 19, and I’m currently on day 25 if my cycle. Why on earth is it making changes retroactively? And day 19 is clearly marked with the negative ovulation test that I took. So frustrating and unhelpful. The app is causing me more stress than if I just used pen and paper.

- Serves it purpose 👍🏾

No complaints. Nice user interface. Edit after a few months of using app: Still serves its purpose as far as keeping track of the dates of my last period, but definitely not to be relied on as far as *avoiding* pregnancy, which is obvious... but still, I was shocked to see that my ovulation window changed pretty drastically when I logged my first day of bleeding last month (and I am fairly regular month to month, give or take 2 days or so). I have been using the app for a few months now so I expected there to be enough cycle length data for something like that not to happen. When I logged my first day of bleeding my ovulation window jumped several days to a point where I suddenly had a “high chance of getting pregnant” on a date where it was labeled as “low chance” just prior to logging. Plus, the ovulation window grew to be much longer, all of this after the fact. Granted, it’s likely that the app will grow to be more accurate for me over time and more logs, still worth nothing though.

- Ok as a tracker, otherwise not useful unless you pay

As other reviewers have mentioned, I also used this app to track my weight, periods, ovulation, when we had sex, etc. Once I conceived, I continued to use used the app to track this info. Some weeks there would be a few paragraphs about the baby’s development, but not regularly. Lately, more useful content started coming out, but then all the sudden you had to pay to become a Premium member to access the information, which was very basic to begin with- definitely not worth paying for. Also, Secret Chats really should be moderated or cleaned up every once in awhile. Every pregnancy chat- no matter what the original topic was- turned into either “Still hoping/praying to conceive” or stories about miscarriages— not topics I want to wade through if my already emotional self is just trying to figure out how many pairs of maternity pants to get. At the end of the day, it does a decent job tracking symptoms & logging events, but that is the end of it’s usefulness for me.

- Love this app!!

I started using this app to track my periods in the hopes of concieving in July of 2017. This app literally caters to your needs, even if your just looking for a regular period tracker. It was pretty accurate for me 95% of the time. The more info you put the better it is at calculations of your days. I did have some that were a few days off but that’s expected when first using it. It tells you your expected ovulation days and let me just say that after 6 short months of using this app, me and my husband finally conceived in January of this year!! I love it also cause it has a pregnancy mode and that’s what I’ve been using since we got pregnant. If you do it correctly it can definitely help you out!! I’m now less than 1 week away from giving birth to our beautiful daughter and I can’t thank this app enough! All the tips and forums are also very helpful! Definitely recommend!

- Awesome app!!

My only complaint was that the app wouldn't adapt past the numbers you type in at beginning, but that was changed with an update!! Seriously great app, only asks for a review now and again, never money. You can tell they read the reviews, because the app continues to evolve and fit the needs for more and more people. Very user friendly, tho maybe more personalization options would be cool?? Maybe some options that aren't "feminine," for the non-gender binary conformists out there. I know a few of my trans friend would be over the moon! My other wish now is that it would have an option for tracking blood sugars! As a teen living with type 1 diabetes and irregular periods, some way to keep track of running slightly high or low (besides the note section) would be majorly appreciated (also that symptom analysis would save me soooooo much time)!! If you're on the fence, GET IT!!! Will save you so much time and stress. Can't believe I didn't get this app sooner!

- This app is great, but a few things could make it even better!

This is probably one of the best period tracker apps I’ve ever used. The insights are super useful and I find myself learning more each day. One of the things that could make it better would be in the Birth Control category of the daily log. Right now, there are only two options: “Taken on Time” and “Yesteday’s Pill”. I think a “Taken Late” option or something to that extent would be useful because sometimes I take my pill an hour or so late and I don’t know which option to choose. I also think it would be nice to be able to change your profile picture and background on the Today screen. It could either be pictures from your own camera roll or the pictures could be provided. Other than those few things, this app is amazing and I would highly recommend to any girl or woman!

- Fantastic App!

This app has so much amazing functionality. It’s super user friendly, has essentially every option you’d want to track without being overwhelming, and even has nearly full capabilities on the watch app! I only wish I could also log my water on the watch, but besides that it’s perfect. I love the courses, which are super informative and helpful, and I love that a lot of the health insights seem to be in tune with the symptoms and info I log which is totally awesome. The assistant is great too, better than most automated systems you encounter. I only wish there was a written alternative to the videos that sometimes come up during the dialogues since I tend to use the app late at night before bed and the videos would disturb my husband sleeping next to me :/ I look forward to getting the chance to use the app during a pregnancy though and seeing what else Flo has to offer :)

- LOVE! Here’s some suggestions

I absolutely love this app! I’ve been thinking of some added features that I think would be interesting. I don’t think it’s necessary to track all of our food intake on this app since that isn’t that main purpose of it, but it would be cool to track major eating habits. For example, there could be a food tracking section with options like “Consumed Dairy”, “Had Caffeine”, “Consumed Gluten”, etc. And then a possible pattern could be something like “Every time you log consuming dairy, you log having acne the next day” or “Often times when you log drinking caffeine, you also log insomnia”. I just think it’d be cool to figure out certain symptoms that come with our food choices! Again, not necessary to log everything a la MyFitnessPal since I think that’d clutter the app, but the ability to log general food choices would be a nice addition. Keep up the great work!!!

- One suggestion

I absolutely LOVE this app, easy to use, and great people on it. But there is one thing I came across. In one of the secret chats someone suggested that Flo added a feature where you can tell the app when you change/empty a pad/tampon/cup and so it can remind you when to change it. To start you just add when you change/empty said product and it records the data, eventually like it knows when you have your period it will tell you when to change/empty because it has the averaged out data. I really how the app people see this because I though that idea was amazing (not mine) and it would help so many women who forget. Also maybe a setting to ask what product and size you use for that said feature would help. Just saying it would help many women from not having tss (toxic shock syndrome) because they would be reminded when they are due for a change.

- I always come back

I’ve downloaded countless period tracking apps and I always delete them and come back to this one. I like being able to customize what notifications I receive and what symptoms I want to track. I like that it’s set up to be as simple or complex as you want it to be. I also like the lack of silly symbols. The one one that really shows up on the calendar feature is the heart and just a little dot that notifies that you filled out the daily log that day. I really wish there was notification for us to know when someone’s replied to our comments on the health insights page. It’s hard to keep the conversation going between people when you don’t even realize someone had replied. Overall I’m quite pleased with the app and although I’ve strayed to try out other ones I always come back to this one and have used it on and off for almost 3 years.

- I LOVE THE COMMUNITYYY

This is THE BEST app I have ever had😂. Not only is it really predictable with my veeerrryy UN predictable period, but also had pretty cool insights that have helped me stay healthy. Flo’s secret chats are one of the best things that has ever happened to me and I love how all the girls can just be themselves and not worry abt anyone judging them, and I literally cannot express how good it feels to open your notifications and see all these awesome, encouraging messages that complete (and annonamous) strangers have sent after I open up about something hard in my life. I don’t have anything that I don’t like about it, other than one tiny little detail, which is the search bar. It can be a tiny bit glitchy sometimes, but I am also currently updating the app so it might be fixed then. Nonetheless it’s a very small disadvantage, that hasn’t really badly effected me so I am giving this awesome app a 5 star rating.

- Obsessed with herpes/Insights are Useless

Lately a majority of my insights have been about herpes, and even though I click “hide this insight” and it tells me they won’t show as many like that, they still do. Idk why I’m getting those insights, I’m not sexually active, never have been, and don’t plan on being for a while, so I’m totally clean of herpes/any other std. According to the developer website “data-driven algorithms generate a personalized flow of useful tips & health insights” and “enjoy daily feed updates with useful tips chosen specifically for you”, so if that’s true, why am I getting crap about herpes? I haven’t even Google searched for anything std/herpes related, so I call BS on those claims. I’m not looking for extremely specific insights, but I’m tired of getting a notification for a new insight just for it to be about herpes, it’s irritating. Is it Herpes Awareness Month or something? That’s the only way the amount of insights about it would make sense. Edit: Just got an insight about abortion. Another topic not relevant to me that I’m not interested in and never will be. Very disappointed. Wish I could get rid of insights all together.

- used to be great. now annoying! please revert.

the 5.0 update is the most disappointing as many of the latest reviews have mentioned. I am hoping that by adding another voice, instead of the developers just copying and pasting a response defending their rationale in moving pretty much all the free content to premium users that they actually listen and revert back to what the app used to be for the last several years. There are now daily notifications that are irrelevant and cannot be turned off without keeping the notification for when my next cycle begins. And that was the most valuable thing that this app provided, a pretty accurate prediction of when that would happen so I can be prepared. Now being bombarded with these daily notifications I have missed the essential notification of my cycle starting and was not prepared, causing me to scramble. I normally don’t write reviews, but I am extremely upset with the 5.0 update as with many others that I needed to say something- this used to be a great app, now i’m reluctantly using it because it has already has years of cycle data.

- Great with greater potential (tip to creators? :)

This app is really good for keeping track of such an important part of my life- my body and my cycle. I use it to note everything from mood to pain. I really appreciate the easy ability to track my daily life and it really helps me tune in to everything that’s happening to me. Something that I’ve dealt with a couple times that I wish they had a button for- missed pill. I feel like a lot of people on the pill use this app and tracking an accidental missed pill could be really really helpful in daily life. Even if they don’t use the button to track anything, I just think it would help as a note to users for their own personal information. I know you can use notes but I write a lot of notes something and I like seeing a little icon to help sort/identify quicker. Anyway this app is already really amazing so thank you!!!!

- Got pregnant while using this app!

Best app in my opinion for tracking menstrual cycle, ovulation, fertility, and pregnancy! I’ve used this app for years while on the pill but it became most useful when I got off the pill to start planning starting a family with my husband. I used this app to track my cycle and ovulation and I’m happy to say I got pregnant while relying on this app to help me track my ovulation and fertility window. Once pregnant I was happy to know that the app also tracked pregnancy from ovulation to implantation to my baby’s weekly development. I was pleasantly surprised when my OB/GYN gave me an expected due date that matched the estimated due date the app gave me! I love being able to see visuals of my baby’s weekly development as well as information on what to expect each week. Very happy with this app and highly recommend to any woman out there looking to track her cycle and eventual pregnancy.

- Perfect App

Been using Flo since 2017. Absolutely no complaints. Totally accurate for me as far as knowing when to expect my period. It is the only tracking app I use. Also, the virtual assistant is an amazing feature to analyze the data that you’ve entered into the app to help you better understand your cycle. The articles and open chat room are phenomenal. It’s so nice to hear from other people and know that you aren’t alone. The chat rooms have topics from fitness suggestions to period advice to break up support which is open for anyone to comment. And the best part is that Flo does a great job filtering the comments so it’s 100% supportive and positive comments only. There is something for everybody on this app, and the best part is that it’s amazing, even if you don’t pay for a subscription. You can have the free version and still enjoy it to the fullest Thank you Flo!!❤️

- Pay To Use?

I’ve been using flo for about 3 years now and I have to say it’s really great for tracking your periods or your symptoms, etc. However, the constant pressure to upgrade to premium and having basically no free educational/helpful articles is a little bothersome. With the newest update there’s a panel on the bottom with suggested information but you read about half of it and then it asks you to upgrade to premium to continue. It makes it hard to use the app because although it’s not entirely expensive I don’t have a budget that includes the app. I know there’s probably a lot of young girls using the app as well and having all this information locked behind a monthly payment seems a bit of a scam. Not to mention they try every way possible to convince you to purchase premium. Anything you click you end up with a prompt at some point. And then on top of that after using the app for 3 years it’s become a little buggy. It tells me my prediction for my periods and such and recently even when I’m actively logging my period for the week on the day of it always acts as if I haven’t been logging and says “Late x Days” and then I log my period and it updates and then it shows my period lasting longer each day this happens. Its just a minor bug but its still mildly annoying when it happens every single day. But, overall, is it good for what I use it for? Absolutely! But there’s also a lot of minor annoyances.

- A Bit Intrusive - Still Useful

Pros: great for tracking my crazy, irregular cycles. Cons: it’s gotten more and more intrusive the longer I’ve used it. If it weren’t tied to adverts for feminine products, I might not mind, but it obviously is. Recording the heaviness of the flow is no longer an option - now, you have to select whether you use pads, tampons or the cup and what you blood output is like with those. Makes me think it wants to know how best to advertise products to me it’ll know I use instead of just being a helpful place for me to record my body’s patterns, which then makes me not record those things. Also, it is consistently wrong on my ovulation, predicting and deciding when in my cycle it is and that’s not when I ovulate, so recording that is useless as well. And the “virtual chat” pop ups that automatically come up now - I hate that. I should be able to choose if I want to do that. Every time I enter something, I don’t need to have a chat with a bot about it. Ah, the Information Age.

- I’m not paying $10 a month to track my period

The app itself is fine. It’s easy to use and pretty accurate at predicting my period. I wish it wasn’t so insistent on paying $10 a month for it. Why would I pay $10 for an app about my period, when I already have pay almost $10 a month for pads??? In a recent update, it seems like I’m getting less insights a day and then being directed to the “Community.” A few weeks ago, I was getting 2-3 insights everyday. Now I only get 1 and then a premium-only article, and that’s only sometimes. Also, I wish the app was more considerate when providing articles about missed periods/possible pregnancy. I was afraid I might be pregnant and the morning of when I was supposed to get my period, I’m greeted with articles about missed periods and symptoms of pregnancy! My period came only a day after Flo predicted it. I think it was a bit early to just assume I was pregnant when the day that Flo thought I was supposed to get my period wasn’t even over yet!

- My best friend

I have had this app for well over a year now and I think every girl should use this. It has so many features and educational articles that help young women to be more aware of their body. My period is always within 2 days or the prediction or right on the predicted day which is perfect for me. I think it’s stilly that some women are giving the app a low rating just because it is a day or two off.. your cycle fluctuates as your body goes through changes, so cut them some slack! Just the fact that I know around the time I will get my period so I I know to wear a liner or pack some tampons is very useful. I also like that it keeps all past period data that you can go back and look at, and it predicts months in the future as well! I think every girl should get this app. It is the most user friendly software ever and it helps me know my body better.

- My life saver

I normally don't put reviews or even rates on apps if I'm being honest but this app is probably one of the best apps that I have. It has saved me so many times and it is actually accurate when it comes to predicting my next period. It also gives me my health insights. The app has assured me multiple times that what was "wrong" with me was healthy. I would be paranoid all the time because I would be scared there was something wrong down there and I was too nervous to tell my mom and they have a secret chat section where you can talk to other girls and make sure that you are healthy or they give you advice. It's a great section and I love it. This app is the best. My friends all have it too. We all send screenshots of our day predictions to warn one another in case one of us is moody lol. This app makes me feel like I'm not alone and that I shouldn't worry. Thank you.❤️

- Paying for a period app

I really love this app it’s nice to be able to talk to other girls with the same problems as me it makes me feel like i’m not alone. and you don’t have to use any personal info for it and it’s all anonymous. I would recommend using this a couple months into your period at least because in the beginning you don’t really know when it’s going to happen. one thing i do not like about it tho is that you have to pay for the premium pack and i feel like girls shouldn’t have to pay to know more about their body. I get they need to make money but i feel like if they wanted to make money that could make period packs and pregnancy packs with things needed during both. o feel like they could do a month subscription of that instead of paying to know more about your body and what’s happening. other then that the rest is free and it’s a really good app i would definitely recommend

- Saddened and disappointed

I used to really love this app, cycle predictions were accurate, the design was easy, and most importantly the content WAS FREE. The new updates, for the most part, were fine. The drawings are super cute, the predictions were still fine, but all of a sudden important stuff like what to expect at your first OBGYN appointment or other important questions kids might not feel comfortable asking, were locked! You have to pay to get to this, which I think is crazy! Why have an app targeted to young women trying to learn about their bodies, but have it be a subscription, when it’s targeted as free? I understand times are tough now, and this app may need funding or something, but the premium is just terrible, and I hope you will fix it so young girls and just women in general can easily access valuable information regarding their bodies and health without having to pay. (I understand having some things locked, but now it’s gotten to the point where almost every article is for premium users...so frustrating!)

- This app is wonderful! The best of them all💪🏼

I’ve used FLo for over a year now and I was enjoying it so much I decided to give it a 5 star rating!🌟 I Absolutely LOVE IT! I’ve used Flo to track my periods at some point, then my ovulation when we decided to get pregnant and now I am expecting and it’s the biggest help I needed at each and every stage of my life. So easy to use, simple & elegant interface, no ads!! And wonderful customer service. The health articles Flo provides at each stage for women are amazing! Very beneficial and direct to the point. I’ve explored other women’s health apps and was mostly disappointed with the amount of irrelevant articles, the complicated interface and the unskipable ads. Deleted them alla and I only use Flo. Thank you Flo team for this truly wonderful app! I check it every morning even before my email and Instagram. This is how much I’m enjoying it.💛

- Absolutely amazing, but could use a little updating

I absolutely love this app, I have irregular periods especially since my weight loss journey started. So I’m always trying to find an app to track my cycle. I will never use another app, but since starting to track I’ve found it odd that the app predicts my cycle so off. I get that it’s based on “normal cycles” but given my input on my cycles it changes my prediction day constantly even when I give a positive or negative opk test and I’ve been using it daily for about a year. Also I wish there was a button for heartburn or swelling or an add option so you yourself can add a symptom you needed to track. I do love this app, I just wish there were more symptoms and feelings, and I’d like to see a make your own button. Id like to track that my hands swell or that I get anxiety rather than always writing it in the note section.

- ABSOLUTELY AMAZING&suggestion for the next update

let me get one thing straight, i absolutely LOVE Flo. it helps me track my period so i can be prepared. it has places where we can talk to people or ask questions, and it has daily informational posts about our bodies. i’m 13 and i don’t know what i would do w/out this app. my only suggestion is that a groupchat is added. maybe even multiple chats for different things. i’ve seen a ton of comments about it, and it’s the only thing i’ve ever seen said about Flo that could be changed. all my friends use this and none of them have any complaints and refuse to use any other app because this one is the best by far. the only way to make this better is if there were anonymous group chats so we could talk real time about our problems and get help. other wise, this app is AMAZING and i wouldn’t use any other period app, EVER.

- God forbid you just want to track your period!

Edit: yup. I just got confirmation from the support that there is no way to customize your notifications. I deleted the app today and switching to one that respects its user’s experience. This app is great for tracking your period. However, apparently you can’t just use it for that purpose. All I want is to know when my next period is, and to get one, ONE single reminder when my period is coming up. Instead, I get almost daily notifications like “hormonal changes coming up!” or “how is your period going?” flashing on my phone screen, which is irritating and sometimes kind of embarrassing! A period tracking app should be discreet or give the option of being discreet to its user. I can’t find a way in the app to turn this off. I have looked everywhere. I can turn off notifications to the app entirely and then lose my single period reminder that I needed- which kind of defeats the point of the app. I guess if I want to use this app for its intended purpose, I have to get punished with invasive, unnecessary, irritating notifications.
