Not for Gift card payment orders. I wasted time filling out an order on the app and to pay I tediously entered my Gift Card number and PIN THREE TIMES before giving up calling! Only to be told you cannot pay on the app with a Gift card 😡😡. Worse, after calling to order for pickup like I wanted, you get a text message saying “ Let's save you some time! To have your Applebee's order ready right as you arrive, click the link below: https://pickup…” which only opens up the app again! Plus the text does not say WHEN to click the link, as in when you leave home or when arriving at pickup? Please add RED BANNER saying “will not work with gift cards” and “ignore text alert about pickups”. PS: the phone message advises ordering on their website, so maybe gift cards will work that way instead, hello mention that too?

Make sure before you order!. I don’t like this app because I placed an order on a Saturday night for Sunday at noon. I could find no way to edit my order online Sunday morning at 8:00. All I could come up with was the phone number for the restaurant. When I spoke to the manager at 8:00 she said the order could not be cancelled or altered. That seems really dumb to me. Plus, there is no incentive to use the app. It’s not like you are collecting points for a free coffee or dollars off a future meal or anything. If i decide to use Applebee’s car side in the future I will just phone an order in. I’m taking a this app off my devices!

Easy order.. It is easy order and I’m able to take my time and decide what I want and I can add and take things off which is perfect. Wish there were pictures so I knew what I was getting exactly. But I easily looked it up online before I purchased. Just so I make sure I don’t return it because I’m surprised at what it is. Thank you applebeeeeees!

Update the chicken tenders platter please. The chicken tenders platter is the only thing I ever get here. When I use the app it gives the option asking if I want coleslaw and fries with it, because I guess that’s the default sides with the platter. I never ever want coleslaw, I literally throw it away. PLEASE make an option so you can choose another side instead only coleslaw!!! I have to call my Applebees every time to tell them I hate the coleslaw and that I just want something else instead, but the app doesn’t allow me to change my side.

Spent 50 Minutes Trying To Order. Jeez! It’s a good thing I didn’t want the food for several hours. I was trying to use the Free Delivery function and had a great deal of problems with the app not adding order correctly, then it said I didn’t have a valid phone number (which I double checked and it was correct). I tried ordering from several locations and encountered the same problem. So I called one location (closest to my house) and the employee there knew nothing about the app and wasn’t helpful at all. I hung up and tried one more time to place order. It went thru so quick that I didn’t realize at first that it was for pickup. So we will go get it but if you are offering free delivery in this time when people are supposed to stay in (and we are seniors who want to help the restaurants by ordering when we can) then you better make sure your app works right.

Dishonest waitress. Today my husband and went to Applebees for dinner. Our waitress Lea F was trying to add items to our bill. She always seemed as if she was in a rush with our table and not stopping to answer any questions. She got our order wrong a couple of times after I told her I needed dairy free food. When it came time to give us our bill she quickly dropped it at the table and left thinking I was going to pay online. However our bill came out to be almost 25 dollars more than it should have been. We looked over the bill and saw that she added another full item and an extra ala cart salad. On the mobile bill, when I scanned it, i noticed she added two specialty drinks which then made our bill $90 and listed our table as having 3 guests. I don’t like to be deceived like this. I called her over and told her there were errors on our bill. Luckily I also took a picture of the bill she originally left at our table after running off and avoiding us. This bill also showed that she listed our table as having three guests. She knew exactly what she was doing. This was no mistake. I can only imagine how many other ppl she has done this to. I hope management will look into this. I have pictures of the bills for proof.

Half baked still needs to improve. I am constantly logged in to the app. Went to a local restaurant, wanted to use the app to pay the bill. While it caught the bill, once I entered the payment method information, I got charged and brought back to the main screen, no receipt whatsoever. Nothing in my recent orders even when I paid them 2 minutes prior. I had to ask the waiter for a copy of paid receipt, which defeats the purpose of using the app to pay. Also my prior orders do not show up (while being logged in). Cannot access the menu unless you start the order. Once you start the order in order to see the menu and then order at the table you cannot access the pay from the table option as the app is forcing you to continue your previous order.

Delicious meal and next day ordering great!. Our Activities Director was going to be gone and our scheduled Applebee’s pickup for our nursing home. Instead of canceling I was able to place my order next day as a guest (to begin with) and was so impressed with the APP that it allowed a pickup date, time in advance, and the store I was going to. After paying it allowed me (yes allowed because I was so upset that I only did my first visit as a guest) to join as a regular customer with the extra benefits. I don’t know why these people are saying these things about the app. I was able to get a medium steak and added mushrooms to it, I and added cheese to my mashed potatoes! My green beans were awesome, my whole meal was! This was a pickup meal that came from Lake Mary to Sanford and was still hot, ice in drinks weren’t melted. Hats off to our Asst. Activities Dir. and y’all for a great meal!

Super easy!. The Applebee’s app is super user friendly. Very easy to order, even special orders. I have a finicky eater, which means I have to remove certain things (like sauce or cheese) from his plate. This app allows that with just a click/touch of the screen. Makes my life just a bit easier!

App is almost perfect!. It was better to use this time! It lets you put in curbside pick up and pay when you get there, which is great! But we ordered the food around 3:50 and it told us the food would be ready at 4:13! That was a little too soon. So we wound up calling the restaurant and asked if they could look us up and change the time to 5:30! Other than that it was much better this time!

Love Applebee’s but not happy with app. First off, I live Applebee’s. Decided to order a curbside order on my way home so downloaded the app. I finished my order and paid and the app just closed 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I didn’t know if my order went through. No email, no text, nothing on the app showed that my order went through. So, I’m thinking it crashed before it had submitted it. I should have called first, but I just went through order again...it happened again!!! So called the store and sure enough I have 2 orders and they can’t cancel one because I ordered online and it’s already paid for!!! I’m ok with that because I’ll eat it tomorrow. BUT...there should be some type of confirmation to let you know your order was processed...period!!! A text, an email, something on the app...anything! I give it 2 stars because I love Applebee’s and just can’t rate it a 1, but the app definitely needs work!!!

Every Applebees allows different substitutions?. We order from Applebees via the app once or twice a month. We recently moved 30 minutes from our last home. At the last Applebees, we could request “no croutons” on our salads (have to because of allergy), but at the new place the app doesn’t offer a way to request no croutons. There are other issues with not being able to customize food at one store versus another. After calling the stores in question, they both say the app is a different entity and controls what can be requested at each store - not them. Basically no wants to fix the problem, but it causes us to place the order on the app and then have to follow up with calling he restaurant to request our simple change - and it is a time waste and a frustration. One of the biggest reasons why is because the restaurant is always loud, so it’s always frustrating to try to explain this EVERY TIME and only about half the time is our order correct. I already know Applebees does not care about its customers with food allergies or special diets, but this is kind of ridiculous. Just be consistent. It’s a simple request. You allow all kinds of other removals or additions - why not croutons?

New Version Needs Fixed ASAP. The latest version (late June 2022) is not ready to be released! Buttons are missing to navigate through an order (this issue existed in the previous version as well) and the user has to guess what blank area of the screen to press. The newest version also lost my credit card info so I had to enter the info again and there is no button to save the card info after entering. It’s there, but you can’t see it, so again you have to click blank areas of the screen until it works. This is very poor app development and Applebee’s should do better. Do the executives not try a new version before it’s released? (Hint: they should!) We use the app one or two times each week but it’s almost becoming unusable. Please fix the errors and test the app thoroughly before releasing.

Conway Applebee’s. Love curbside service, everyone is always very nice, I use App to order , only once was my order wrong , but the manager quickly fixed and was apologetic but I understand they were very busy... and I’m in the service industry so I totally get it.... sometimes things just happen! All in all, they are all fast , efficient and pleasant, the food is great too!

Great curb side service. On Thursday evening I decided I wanted a burger. Since I had a $10 gift card I decided to use that as part of my payment. I ordered 2 main entrees, a Bourbon Bacon Burger Nd a chicken salad. I arrived a few min prior to schedule pickup, and received my order very quickly. After getting home, my roommate and I dove right in. The salad was excellent and the burger was very satisfying. It was a messy burger and very tasty and hot. The lettuce was lacking. (One small leaf of lettuce which was became very limp fried m the heat of the sandwich). More lettuce is needed to stay fresh and crisp. Limp lettuce is not tasty and difficult to bite into. I wound up just removing it. The fried es were cold and hard. I don’t think the fries were cooked fresh. I believe that they were fried that had been cooked for a while.

Easy to order. Quick to download app, checkout as a guest, easy to navigate menu items, very responsive. Was able to enter multiple forms of payment for my order and add tip, the location feature was quick to find nearest restaurants with a variety of pickup times available.

Great Except Delivery Options. The actual app and being able to customize and add or subtract ingredients is very nice, easy to use, and very user-friendly. I wish there was an additional note option though. However, on the delivery option, they use multiple delivery services like DoorDash or GrubHub which I don’t mind except there are hidden and additional fees that aren’t shown when adding up the total. I would have rather gone with 5 extra minutes using GrubHub than adding another $6 by using DoorDash because the app deemed that one a better option for the timeframe. I would rather choose price over time if that was the case.

Cannot place order. A while back this app worked. Now I cannot place an order. The newest update won’t allow you to choose a salad dressing when you add a salad to a meal.. and at checkout it says “no payment necessary, this one is on the house” But it doesn’t let you checkout In the last I would enter a credit card and it came back with a different last 4 digits and say that it wasn’t working. The other day their website certificate was expired and I couldn’t even go to their site on a desktop computer. Get it together.

Never Disappoints!. Listen!!! When I tell you I am an Applebee’s lover for LIFE!!! My food is always cooked to perfection and I’m always full and satisfied! Staff is freakin awesome! So friendly and they go out of there way to make sure you have the best time and service!!! Hands down the best in town!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Needs a few minor upgrades. When I tried to order boneless wings for my daughter, it does not give the option for wing sauces. I called the restaurant after placing the order to tell them, but they still came without sauce. So it would be nice to add the sauce flavor options. There is also a few drink options that the app will not let you choose. My son wanted sweet tea and it wasn’t an option. Overall it’s easy and makes things very convenient, just needs some minor upgrades.

Great perfect place. Today my princess (8 yrs young ) went for our girls days out ! Her suggestion!!! Well we go their quite often today though was just absolutely perfect !!!!! The waitress was absolutely the greatest ever . She explained when I asked about drinks and food she went over n over not too over the top but perfect !! We had a wonderful meal great recommendations! Seamed both shocked and appreciative of her above 20 percent tip ! As we were leaving the most nicest manager Mrs Vorenkamp made an effort to speak introduce her self and asked how food and atmosphere was I spoke to manager very impressed as I’m not important just a returning happy customer !!And she was so kind and asked our opinions of food and server we go quite often this is why ! Alecia we will ask for you ♥️

Had to give up trying to use it. I tried to use it but couldn’t complete the transaction. First problem is the app opens fine on two different iPad models but does not allow me to login on my iPhone. When logging in there I always get a message about try again later. I tried for a couple of hours and finally 6 hours later after ordering by telephone the app finally let me login on the iPhone at 12:07 a.m. Even on the iPad I was unable to pay using my credit card. I entered all of the information then it wants to take a pic of your credit card. But my card is dark gray with dark brown numbers and letters and the app would never (no matter how much light) take the pic of the credit card. When an app is too much trouble it’s easier to order from a different restaurant.

Our date night every Friday for the last 7 yrs. We love Applebee’s for their food but more for their customer service. We have a favorite waitress And we won’t sit in another section- we wait for an opening in Shawna’s section even on super busy nights. She knows what we drink, how we like our meat cooked, What we like and she even makes great recommendations based on her knowledge of us and it’s never gone wrong. She treats us like royalty, she hugs us before we leave, we know about each other’s kids like who graduates when, she has become our Applebee’s friend that don’t happen everywhere you go but we like it. We pass about 2 other locations to get to the one on 51 Curtner Ave in San Jose because of her great attitude and smile, i don’t usually give reviews unless I’m ticked off about something but not this time. We look forward to our date nights, thank you Applebee’s.

Not informed when location is not accepting online orders. Multiple times I have spent time putting together an order through this app only to find out when I’m trying to place the order that the location isn’t accepting online orders. Since you have to pick the location to start your order, it should inform you at that point that online ordering is unavailable, not after the fact.

Good, but.... I like the app and I like the food for the most part, but they should allow one to customize dishes. For instance I love the fiesta chicken but if I want the tortilla strips that go with it, I can’t order it on the side or by the time I get home (a short distance) the tortilla strips are soggy. So I have the choice of soggy (yuck!) tortilla strips or none at all - but they really “make” the meal. The meal was designed to be eaten with them but the quality is greatly diminished with soggy tortilla strips. There needs to be more customization options or let you add requests like other places do. Would be perfect if not for that.

Awful App and Service. I literally wouldn’t be surprised if they paid for half of these reviews. The app is slow and buggy, there’s no rewards for using it, it is not user friendly and it just looks bad. Not to mention I ordered at 12:13am for 12:40am TODAY (on Saturday at midnight that is) and it placed the order for 12:40am Sunday after literally confirming pickup. I have been trying to get a refund but keep getting a go around and I’m not willing to lose $50 for food I never received. There was not even a way to cancel the order in the app.

Excellent. I was running very late due to a crash on the road. I called to explain I would be late picking up the order. The restaurant not only said it would be fine, but called me back personally and said call them approximately 25-30 minutes before I would arrive so they could cook the order and it would be warm and ready to pick up Curbside. The manager told me to ask for her. The service was above and beyond measure, esp. for a busy holiday weekend.

Not worth the time. I’ve spent the last 50 minutes trying to place an order for 2 items using the app. The app would be a 5 star based off of looks, but everything I try to do using it fails. I have seen the “The operation could not be completed. Please try again later” pop up more times than I can count. I have excellent signal and I’ve tried with and without WiFi. I just can’t get the app to work. I finally got to the placing the order screen but it will not process the payment. I am at a loss. I would not recommend using the app.

Step up your game, devs. Aesthetically, this app is great. Functionality wise? Awful. This app doesn’t acknowledge what hours all locations are open, so if I ever select to place an order, it always says “Closed” and doesn’t let me place an order, no matter what location. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app multiple times, and I’ve had to resort to using the actual Applebee's website on my browser to place orders to-go, which is very inconvenient considering that has the tendency to mess up as well. Not to mention the menus are inaccurate... Look, this app has great potential and people obviously seem to be working on it considering the patch notes (despite their vagueness), but as of right now, I recommend the developers to stop focusing on looks and actually get the thing to work... I get that y’all are trying, but you guys are working for a chain that boasts a big name. Please try to back it up and prove that it’s actually worthy to be downloaded. 🤷‍♀️

Awesome costumer experience. I arrived at the restaurant and parked and before I called to inform about my arrival I was promptly attended to. On the food is class A, very well seasoned, garlic to measure, and the steak is tender. A suggestion to improve the application would be to accept apple pay, it would make the experience better for new users. 5 stars!

Two little requests.. Overall, the app is great! But I have 2 small request for the next update if it’s possible. A category of condiments. My mothers always wants extra ranch dressing whenever we order from there. And it would be nice to have the option to order extra ranch or any sauce from the app. My second request is to add all of the flavors for the lemonade. Such as the blue raspberry, dragonfruit and strawberry flavors. We’re not able to choose that option because it’s not added. I absolutely love the blue raspberry. I’m sure we would like the option to choose. If you guys can make it possible to add these, I would most appreciate it. 💖💖

App needs work. Applebee’s is great, but they need to do something about their car side to go feature on their app. If you use it when you arrive at the store you have to call the restaurant by phone, rather than what most places that have a car side system have, which is a feature in the app to let them know you’ve arrived, or are going to arrive soon. It seem like an unnecessary interruption to make a phone call to the hard-working people inside the restaurant. The app itself is pretty functional with some minor issues scattered throughout it.

App quits the second you click to open it. Unusable.. I downloaded this app to put in a very large order of apps for a group of 20 during a big football game, and also because my local Applebee’s wasn’t answering their phone. After downloading the app, every time I clicked on the icon to open it the app would immediately quit while the splash screen was up. Tried again after restarting phone multiple times and quitting all other running apps to no avail. Their website didn’t even allow me to order online. Sadly, I have to rate this app very poorly as it was unusable. My local Applebee’s also missed out on an $800 takeout dining bill that went to TGI Friday’s instead because Applebees was completely unreachable via phone, app, or internet.

Very easy to use App. This maybe one of the easiest food chain apps that I have used and they have one of the fastest times to get my food. Order to food (8oz steak) approximately 15-19 minutes! I enjoy their steaks. They are always done exactly the way I want them, never under or over cooked. There brownie bites are just the right size for a little dessert!

Have to enter card by hand. This review is for the app. If you want to review your dining experience, you’re in the wrong place. The app is very good at what it’s designed for. Until you get to paying for your order. Most restaurant apps recognize the credit cards stored on your phone and allow you to select the one you want to use. Not this one. You have to manually enter your CC info. It has a Scan option, but that doesn’t work for cards that don’t show your number for security reasons. Catch up with the rest of the industry, Applebees.

smile and a friendly attitude. I enjoy eating at Applebee's but some times you just cannot and want it delivered fast and fresh the restaurant has always treated me well and always catered to my needs and I appreciated that it is also a great place to take your family and friends Thank you for your outstanding service to our community and the people

Service. Tammy Hopkins is one of the best servers I have ever seen she always makes sure that our drinks are full at all times and she always comes around and asks if we need anything. Whenever we go to Applebee’s we always asked for her section. We know we will be well taken care of. Thank you for your service Tammy.

need special notes. I am a restaurant manager, and got to say thought the app was great!! User friendly and quick, however there is nothing option was for special notes. Not for specific menu items and not at the end either. Think there should be something on there for special requests. Aside from that app is great

Friday Night. I was tired and hungry and decided to order out and I’m so glad that I did. I had the Riblets and they were on point. All my food was. I still had enough for Saturday lunch 🤣🤣🤣. Now today on 9-5-22 Happy Labor Day!!! I ordered a 2 for 24$ for my guest. No, on the grill for me today and Applebees has made it easy for a lady on this wet rainy Monday. 🙏🏾🍾🎂🎉🎉

Lacey Applebees pretty good. So been to Applebees a bunch of times around the North Jersey area and always seemed to have some kind of issue either the service sucked or food was bad or always made wrong, well we recently moved and I figured I give this Applebees a shot here in Lacey Township. Well so far so good food is good, carside service actually does what it is supposed to and the food tastes good. would rather spend $30 on food here then over at BK or McD’s.

Who programmed this. Its unusable. You go to use a gift card. It keeps removing it. I have input the same gift card countless times now. Why cant i do credit card and gift card? Im .70 cents above the 25 dollar gift card. Cant i pay .70 cents when i get there? Whys paying upon arrival not an option if the app itself wont do combined payment. Why does the app keep removing my gift card from the screen when i go to add my credit card? Shouldn't it just have your stuff there. Even when i hit remember credit card it still removes it The app is slow. Buggy. Reminds me of the app store when the iPhone 1 came out

Applebee’s Boynton Beach Employees. Two of Applebee’s Best I have to say that tonight I was very impressed with Napyria - Hostess and Jeffery - Server. These two people were the most patient and kind people I have ever met, and I’m 70 so I’ve met a few. Jeffery was soft spoken never made one feel the need to rush, he was very thoughtful about the people he served as I listened to the way he was with other customers besides us. Napyria is the most customer oriented hostess I’ve ever met. She was like a shark. Looking for things that needed to be done and doing them without ever missing a beat with phone calls and customers coming in. My wife needed sugar and even though Napyria was cleaning a table she stopped and asked the type of sweetener my wife wanted and came back with it in a blink of the eye. Napyria was constantly cleaning up very polite on the phone and to customers. She would prepare Menu’s to give customers as she seated them. I ran a production department for 40+ years. I wish I had more employees like Napyria who has total control of her responsibilities and is so very polite and patient with customers. Thank you Jeffery and Napyria for making my Thursday night fantastic. Wally M

Could Not Place Order With App. This review is for the Applebee’s app, not the restaurant itself. I could not place my order through the app, I have used it before but it would not work today when I tried to order. The whole purpose of the app is the convenience & it failed on that! It should not be a problem for a company of this size to have a workable, user friendly app. Also, there needs to be a place to add special instructions on each separate item you order for a variety of different reasons. I’m sure adding the app has increased Applebee’s business at every location they have, put some of the increased revenue back into creating & maintaining a user friendly, workable app! If this is not done, that revenue is going to disappear plus more because of customer’s increasing annoyance & frustration with the entire Applebee’s chain!

Missing feature. Normally I would rate your app 5 stars. When I ordered this time the app didn’t ask for the vehicle description. I ordered gave my pickup time and paid. At least the restaurant had my order really but the servers had to come out to the vehicles to ask for my order. Please add feature back.

Much Better. I haven’t use this app in a while because sometimes it didn’t work right and it was a little vague when navigating. Now I see things are a little different. It was very easy and never messed up. Much much better! Mike from Michigan

The restaurant doesn't acknowledge the app. TLDR- do not use the Applebees app. I ordered food, and when I arrived they claimed to have not received it. I showed them the confirmation email, they still said I didn't order. I was then pretty frustrated, I tried to get my money refunded, they refused, said that I needed to contact the app, but that they will put of my order if I want. As I had no choice because I Didn't want to absorb a $50 bill, I gave in. I then had to set there , this was taking well over an hour. They offered no drink while I waited, I received no apology because they think it's the apps fault. This is bad news, I like Applebees alot, I am a techy person, I know I did everything correctly. Honestly I do not plan on going back to Applebees again, but I do plan on sharing this experience

Massive waste of time. Tried to order as guest, used “5off25” for a first time order, and at the very end after entering credit card information and then tapping “checkout,” I’m told I need an account to use the offer. So I have to back all the way out, sign up, and then redo my entire order. Finally get to the end, tap checkout and get told “the sum of your selected payment methods must equal the order total.” Nobody has an idea what that means or what to do about it. We wasted 20 minutes trying to order through the app before giving up and ordering inside.

My Least Favorite Restaurant App. I really dislike this app. Last time I placed an order, the app kept resetting my cart and then finally the app crashed as I was finishing my checkout. Had to call the store, just to make sure they received the order. Also, there is no way to add special instructions to your order... I’d just like to add a side of barbecue sauce with my order, and there’s no way to accomplish that through the app. So I have to call the location every time I place my app order. Overall, not my fave restaurant app. It’s definitely easier to order through Chili’s or BWW

Several problems with app. I like Applebees but have several problems with the app. Some are because of VPN, but not all. I had trouble logging in, kept getting “cannot be completed, try again later”. Cannot complete profile, same error. I eventually logged in by trying again and again with different VPN connections. Still unable to fill in birthdate and phone number. Cannot find restaurant locations. The app shows my location but not nearby restaurants. Error is can’t find my location. Turning off VPN fixes this, but I’m not going to turn of VPN just for this. I would be happy to give app five stars if it were not for these issues. This is an update: I have been checking profile in the app every so often. Most of the time phone number and birth date are empty and I get the error “cannot be completed”. Sometimes one or the other is populated, and rarely both fields are populated. So the data is there, somewhere, but most of the time not communicated to the app.

Buggy app. Location I chose is open till 1 a.m. Placed order, but app said it was after hours and would not be processed. I tried again and app told me the order would be ready the next day at 11 AM. I called the restaurant and they said they could have the order ready in 20 minutes so I placed the order using the app. When it asked me for my vehicle I didn’t see the make and model input area was cut off (see below) and I hit submit. The app got hung up saying I needed to enter the info. Fine - but when I did, it wouldn’t accept it. I had to start over again to get past the error message. Also, the display was too large for my rather new phone and parts were cut off and barely showing (car info line, submit button etc). I was lucky I could hit them at all. These are stupid bugs that should be fixed.

Does not work. Loaded and unloaded the app a few times. Could not find any restaurants locally although I was sitting in the parking lot of an Applebee’s.

No restaurants?. It says there are no restaurants near me...even if I’m in their parking lot!

No restaurant locations. The app doesn’t display any restaurant locations. Very frustrating when all you’re trying to do is view a menu...

Useless in Canada. Thought issue was with VoiceOver, but it appears it is Canada! Remove app from App Store

Applebees app Review…. Do I have to “Tap a Star to Rate “ your app??? I love going to and eating at my local Applebees restaurant…but your app gets a big fat ZERO!!! It’s absolutely useless for other than perhaps getting to look at the menu!!!…if you’re able to get that far into the app!!! Totally unacceptable…unable to create an account of any kind with any of my emails and/or passwords!!! You’ve got a lot of work to do on your app to “catch up with the competition ”!!!…as they’re leaving you on their dust!!! You’re your own worst enemy right now!!!

Can't find my location. Downloaded the app while I was in the Applebee's restaurant and it couldn't find a location in my area. Also tried to enter my city and province. Still no luck.

Doesnt work In Canada. Doesnt show any places in Canada. Fix that up.

Works okay. The app does what it is suppose to do but there should be a spot to add notes to your order in case of allergies concerns or preferences

Applebees in ManchesterNJ. Everything was delicious. Our waitress Kaylee was outstanding , very attentive, friendly and efficient. Bravo to the kitchen staff and cooks. Can’t check out!. The new update won’t let you check out. Every time you get to the payment the whole app shuts down and everything lost. Hopefully TGIF is working

Disappointed. The app does not tell you the store is not taking online orders until after you have spent time inputting your order and attempt to check out. The app does not allow you to change stores on an already input order. You have to delete it and re-enter not knowing if you will have the same result.

Love car side pickup.. We’ve ordered car side pickup through the app several times in the last few months and love the service. Our orders are placed correctly and service is fast and friendly. Love being able to pay on the app too.

Update Glitches. After the most recent update, i cannot add a payment method to complete my order, as every time i click add payment the app quits itself and i must reselect my order. I still cannot complete it, i’m hungry and i just want my food.

Applebees order. Always easy to use but I wanted to indicate a few special things like all sauces on side and there was no place t so that- need an option for that if I will be able to eat here in the future / only could order for the kids in the app with three limitations

Awesome Burgers. It has been a long time since I had such a great burger, made just right. Service by Julie was great, as soon as we parked, she brought our drink order out and informed us that it would be a few minutes for the rest of the order to be ready. Such a pleasure in pandemic times.

Finally. Finally an online ordering service that’s easy that you don’t need to how to operate a rocket to order and pick up well done Applebee’s Thank you Applebee’s for thinking of the people that I’m not very good with these tablets and links and made it very simple to do

Love Applebees. My sister and I always go to Applebee’s when we meet for lunch. The only problem I have is we always have to wait to be seated. There can be nobody in the restaurant, but we will still have to wait but other than that I love their cheeseburgers they are the best and I enjoy going there to eat lunch

App needs to work out timing. I attempted to to order via the app and every time I would get my information put in it would tell me that my food couldn’t be ready at that time and to pick a different time, so I would do 10 minutes later and when I hit pay the same message would come up, and I literally only ordered tenders and a burger entrees at non peek time, highly disappointed.

Bad Customization & Glitchy. I went to order a steak and it had “choose a first side” seven different times before choosing a second side, creating a dilemma where it multiplied your extra charge by 7 and made your order look like you were ordering multiple sides. Also, on all the pasta dishes you cannot customize anything other than Parmesan. Where’s the option for no chicken? Or switching chicken with shrimp? So much for the mobile coupons they’re always giving out...

Good ordering process but no extras. The order process is easy and simple to go through but unlike other apps I am not earning any points or getting special offers by using the app so that is disappointing.

Makes Ordering Easy!. The app makes ordering Curbside so much easier than the online platform. Items are easier to find and more importantly, customize! There seems to be more custom options in the app as well, just like ordering in the restaurant!

Easiest restaurant app to use. Since all this covid stuff has been going down we’ve used a lot of apps to order food ahead of time, the applebees app has by far been the easiest to navigate and quickest to place an order on. Very satisfed. Props to developers. :) <3

Forced Tip. Even if you remove the tip or change it to something else it will force the 12% max preset at checkout. Also can’t login because it says I have to change my password due to new security standards but the reset doesn’t work, no email ever comes. Also removed the option to customize sauce with the chicken tender plate so you have to pay extra for a different sauce and still get a thing of honey mustard just to have to waste it.

need special notes. I am a restaurant manager, and got to say thought the app was great!! User friendly and quick, however there is nothing option was for special notes. Not for specific menu items and not at the end either. Think there should be something on there for special requests. Aside from that app is great

Tip % beware!. Ordered from the website tonite for delivery in the process the website hung up and when it started up again the tip amount of 10% I had entered was on 18% and I could not stop it from going thru. Not to mention that was the second time I had changed the tip amount the first time it came up 20% when I went to check out and I am assuming that is what hung the system. Usually on eatery websites that deliver you have the option of entering your own tip amount. This was not the case tonite.

Excellent. When you can order your food the way you want and you like, in 1,2,3.. and pick was fast too, I like that the app tell you a time when your food is ready and when you get there just hit the HERE button. I love Apple Bee’s

Excellent customer service. Awesome customer service, my meal was delivered a few times to the wrong address and the dashers along with Applebee’s handled the situation perfectly with no issues and resolved the problem wether returning my money or resending my order! Great team behind Applebee’s!!

App doesn’t allow customize orders. One flaw in the app is that it does not allow you to customize a meal like the website does. For example if you order an 8oz steak the app defaults to mashed potatoes & broccoli where the website would allow you to swap broccoli for fries or baked potato (any two sides) that means we can’t place orders in the app must use the web or call in orders

Payment options are screwy. So entered my mobile number, then didn’t want either the 5%, 10% nor 12% options and so chose other and entered my amount, but when it returned to the screen it had erased my mobile number. Went through the process a couple of times before everything remained, but when I went through to ApplePay it reverted to the 12% tip amount, but only authorized the amount without a tip. Needs sorting and fast!

Applebee’s App. After using the Chili’s app (which is so easy), I was excited to try the Applebee’s app. Much to my disappointment, there doesn’t seem to be a way to enter your credit card for payment. The only option was to pay inside or pay with a gift card. Am I missing something? Even under my profile and account you can not store your credit card to use on orders. What’s the point of having to go inside the restaurant for curbside pick-up? Maybe take a look at Chili’s app and model this app after theirs.

Elizabeth city North Carolina. Great first time experience was nice to be able to order my meal on your app pay for it in my car and have it delivered to my window. I have also watched your staff continuously cleaning the door knobs and surfaces that people touch going in and out great job Applebee’s I will be back

Good, one problem. App is fine except for using gift cards. If your order total is higher than the amount on your gift card and you need to use a credit card for the rest it’s a bit confusing to get it to work. The first time I ordered it ended up not using the gift card at all and used only my credit card.

Much Better. I haven’t use this app in a while because sometimes it didn’t work right and it was a little vague when navigating. Now I see things are a little different. It was very easy and never messed up. Much much better! Mike from Michigan

App problem with kid’s meals. Ordered three adult meals and one kid’s menu meal. The food and pick up were great. The app, however, only lets you order 1% milk. That is the only option and required for checkout. It also adds a charge of $1.86. Definitely a glitch in the system!

Failed last two times. This has failed last two times. Last night, right when I was about to order dinner, it said that it is down for maintenance. (7pm PST). Earlier it took order and that never reached the restaurant. The restaurant said that the system is down. The App did not work at the dinner time last 2 times. It is unreliable.

Worst Food Ordering App Ever. This is by far the worst food ordering app ever. It looks like it was built in 2002 and doesn’t offer simple options like substitutions, etc. Also – you have to allow it to have your location because the map is completely non-functional. You can’t type a city in – you can’t search for an area on the map by just zooming into it — you HAVE TO give them your location. Total crap. I was going to order from Applebee’s but now I’m going someplace else.

Great, but needs a bit of work. 🙂. Is there anyway that Applebee’s can verify my military service for the 10% and keep it on my profile. so it will automatically take it off my bill and I can pay as soon as I order?

Family friendly place. I love it that I can take my kiddos out to eat here often! I love that our wait staff in Saginaw, MI. Krystal Gray and Dee. Krystal always comes and chats with me about my kids and life, and Dee is SO nice to my son! We love it here and the wonton tacos are always on point!

Almost perfect. The ordering process is very smooth, but unfortunately there is no I’m here button that you can press like when you order from the official website. There is also no rewards system for loyal customers.

Wasted 20 minutes. While the app is a nice idea, we found the process of ordering to be extremely difficult and problematic. It took almost 20 minutes to order for pickup (which is slated to take 20 more). The app lost our order several times and even crashed when we scanned a credit card, which then had to be manually input three times. I have a very simple solution. My solution is simply to have the restaurant answer the phone, rather than divert to a faulty app. We’ve been Applebee’s customers for decades

Applebee’s bro. Nothing better than ‘bees with the boys especially if there is a couple of pretty birds there ;). I love Applebee’s I would have my vasectomy there if I could. Frequent Customer. We love Applebee’s convenient online ordering. We are stuck in our ways always ordering the same thing each time and it is saved in our online account on the Applebee’s application.

Great Experience. The only complaint I have about this app, is, it needs to have a comment section for instructions about certain meals. I always have to call in after I place my order to tell them no pico on the fajita rollup and extra dipping sauce.

Needs updates!. There’s no choice anywhere to ask for or he charged for extra dipping sauce like mexi ranch. The app is easy to use and figure out except the lack of that feature. I have to place my order here then call to tell them which order I need something extra with.

App Missing Key Feature. This app NEEDS the ability to leave a review about your order AFTER you’ve picked it up. I’m tired of getting home only to find out that none of my food was prepared right and having no recourse but to drive all the way back and wait another 30 minutes for it to be made the way I ordered it the first time. That and hire better cooks, the ones you have don’t do their job.

Nice app. Ordering was easy and pretty straight forward. The delivery time estimate was a little high, almost scared me off, but arrived in half that time. The ratings on here though seem really fake and I’m guessing purchased. Also the inability to fully customize your order brings down the rating (can’t order sauces on the side, change the dressing on the salad, ask for no onions on the burger)

Select cocktails. I had problems trying to order house cocktails to go. There wasn’t any place to make my selection. I will order them when I go in to pay I guess. Don’t see any alternative. BOO!!!!

Needs some help. Creating an account with a strong password is impossible. Can’t paste in a password from an app like one password. Suggested strong password won’t take either Entering credit card impossible. No keyboard shows up. Tried multiple times. Needs some serious help. How am I supposed to pay? No Apple Pay option either. Who’s running this show? Can’t use photo/scan of credit card. Just doesn’t work tried 3 cards. Just remove this and use Apple Pay. It’s 2020. These thing are table stakes. App crashes on submit of order 95% of the time. I want this to work. Every other dining app gets it. Applebee’s should concentrate on the app a bit more and maybe make something that’s a bit more functional. Might as well fax my order in at this point. I’d give this 0 stars if I could.

Missing and/or Disappearing Menu Items. The app doesn’t have the same menu options as in the store. For instance I like a steak and grain lighter affair dish, but there is no category for the lighter dishes and I can never order this item (can if I call). Sometimes too other categories just randomly disappear. Today I was going to order a burger, but the burger category isn’t there today (was last week). Oh well, decided it was probably better to save the money and make something at home anyways.

Tips. I was informed that the tip that I put on the app is a service fee? The tip should go to the Personel bringing the food out as normal? Is this correct? I didn’t feel right putting on a whole Nother 20% on top of the 20% that I already had put?

First Timer. Never ordered from a restaurant using a app! It was a great experience. It makes me want to do it more often. I hate cooking for myself, or just one person so “Ordering Out” is really best. Looking forward to visiting Applebee’s again.

Poor quality. I actually like Applebee’s however the company seems to be its on downfall. I was attempting to place an order online, however the menu hasn’t been updated to reflect its current new menu options. This is an example of poor customer service and failure to maintain customer satisfaction. I am unable to select for the foods i like because they are not provided on the app as it is in the restaurant. I am going to need you all to do better!

Wonderful App!. This app was very easy to use, easy to follow. One of the best food apps I’ve used personally, the only downside I have is that I didn’t have an area to make special request. For an example I like my fries extra crispy however I can’t specially order them without a direction area in the app. Other than that it’s fantastic and I would recommend it for sure!

Cannot log in!!. I just downloaded this app and since I already have an online account I tried to login and it keeps saying that I could not login at this time please try again later! I even went as far as to reset my password which does work because I can login with no problem on the web however using the same password does not work in this app. What is going on? Please advise ASAP. There is nothing wrong with my login.

Great local restaurant!. I find myself returning to Applebee’s a lot recently after I fail to think of another place to go get great food. They’re food and service are outstanding here in Visalia, California. Always with a smile, which I think is disappearing today. Good Job!!!

Issues at checkout. The app is useful when ordering, however, I have had constant issues when checking out. I’ve had the app either freeze or crash on me multiple times when checking out. It even crashes every time I submit my order (although the order still goes through). It would be 5 stars if these issues were resolved.

Solid 4.5/5. I feel like a few of the customization options aren’t available in the app but it still works great. I wish there was a way to check in on the app without calling but I will continue to use the app!

Update. Having issues trying to place a previous order once it gets to that screen the app closes.
