Nice app, but drains watch battery.. I used to use fun golf app for the last couple years and then they doubled their price. I tried a few other apps and found this one. I like the functionality of this app and it’s ease of use. The only negative and this is a big one for me. If my Apple Watch isn’t fully charged or at least at 80%, I can’t make it through 18 holes before my watch dies. Please find a way to increase the efficiency of your app to increase battery life and I will be a long time user.

Golf gps app with stats. Have you thought about tracking your club stats? Then you may have looked into gadgets, you know those that sell tags that you screw to the end of your golf clubs, and when you swing a club, you have to tag it so that the system knows you have recorded a shot? I am one of the early adopters. Let me tell you the stats are amazing, I finally know which club I am weak on. But, the process of using those system is a nightmare. I have to constantly remember to tag my shot, which distracts me from my games. Until one day, I found out about TrackMyGolf app. I have an Apple Watch already, so this is a no brainer to download. And I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised how good the system is. I regret not finding out about this app earlier, so I wasted all that money on the useless gadgets. Unlike those tag systems, where I have to remember to manually tag my shots, the Apple Watch automatically recognizes that I have swing, so it auto captures the shot. I can input the club used later on or on the spot, and move on. It is a painless process. I am a happy man now that I save money, automate data collection, and still be able to see the same data insight. Do not repeat my mistake wasting money on gadget, if you have Apple Watch, you have everything already, if you download this app.

Didn’t work. I bought the premium to use on my Apple Watch. The entire golf round, the app on my watch said it had to sync before it would work. They got my $18 but no more.

Does not work. This app is terrible. I paid $20 and it won’t accept my account, doesn’t update location or function in any way. It is a sham. DON,T BUY IT.

Too slow. Tried this app for the first time today. It was not worth my time. It never tracked me real time as it had a delay and never gave me the proper yardage unless I waited over 5 minutes for it to catch up to my location. Ridiculous app!!!

Consistently good distance. I like the app as I can idle it On my Apple Watch. However I never have enough Battery to complete an 18 hole round.

Used to work. Now it doesn’t.. Bought the pro version in April of this year. Worked fine until update. Now I get a “can’t find object” screen. Can’t do anything with it now. No response from developer. Don’t waste your money!

Best golf gps app. I have been a long time user of TrackMyGolf. I normally never write reviews, but I love it so much that I want to write this. Part of the goal is to save you time evaluating. I have done extensive evaluation with the various golf apps out them, let me tell you, they cannot compare with this app. Just look at the UI, you can immediately tell it was designed with love, clean and beautiful homepage puts me in the mood of golfing every time I open the app. But, that it is not all, there are a lot of attentions to details. For example, in the watch app, when you input scores in the simple mode, you can tap on the watch to quickly increment or decrement scores. Or you can quickly input through predefined (par, birdie, eagle) input. Either way, I can be done inputting score within few seconds. In comparison, in some other apps, I have to turn the crown to select scores. The Apple Watch's crown is not the most friendly input method, it is not precise, I end up having to fiddle with it for quite some time, that just frustrates me, and you do not want that in your golf game. For those interested in stats, this app has tons of it too. In Pro mode, it auto tracks each of your golf swing. I am surprised no one has done it yet, it is such an innovative use of the Apple Watch. Trust me, get this app, it solves all your needs.

Best golf gps by a mile. I am looking for a reason to buy an Apple Watch, and this app pushed me over the edge. I own a Garmin golf watch, but I only use it for golfing. Whenever I golf, I have to dig around to find the Garmin Watch, make sure it is charged, it is always a hassle. This app is the future, we just get an Apple Watch, use it for a variety of purposes, like notification, Apple Pay, and when I need to golf, I just start the TrackMyGolf app. This is the future, like iPhone did 10 years ago, one general purpose device (watch) and many different apps. Now, on to the review of this app. First, the Watch app. It is full of features. I think using the Watch sensors to detect your swing is so innovative, and it makes a lot of sense. If the Watch has enough sensors, it should auto record your game. I do not know why other apps do not do it, must be some hard technical challenge. Kudos to the TrackMyGolf team for solving it. On top of auto recording, the app also gives you swing analysis, which is very useful if I have time to review it on the course. I do wish the swing analysis results are saved, so that I can review it later when I have time, and possibly run correlation analysis on the data. Beyond theses, I also love the auto hole advancing feature, which is super convenient. If it makes a mistake, it also offers a quick way to go back. For the phone app, it is feature rich too. The one feature I use most often is hole fly over. On new courses I have not played, it gives me a quick overview, so I know where to go and I can plan my shots. I hesitate whether I should get a series 3 Watch because of this feature. The new Watch app would allow me to completely ditch my phone at home, but it is this feature that kept the phone on me. I guess if I play courses I know already, I should just use the Watch app. I have studied other golf gps apps, this one seems to be the only one that can be 100% independent of phone. I think smart watches is the best invention ever for the game of golf, nobody wants to carry a bulky item like a phone or a laser range finder. Garmin is one of those who realizes the potential early on, and their golf watch is super successful. Now Apple Watch is here, TrackMyGolf is the first to realize the potential to replace those specialized watches. Who has the wrist space to carry a watch for golf, another for notification? I love that I can now combine both in the same watch. Apple Watch is just getting better and better, the screen is getting brighter, the battery is lasting longer, the processor is getting faster, now I can carry those advancement to my golf watch, hooray! It is a long review, but if you do not have time, just simply remember to download it. You would not regret it. If you encounter any problem, just email support, they are super responsive. You cannot go wrong with this app. Updating on my reviews...., I am still using this app as my main golf gps app after so long. I did experiment with several other apps too, but I come to realize that none of them is as good as this app. Really like the convenience and thoughtfulness that went into this app when they designed it. I must say I may be stuck with it for a long time, in a good way. I am surprised that no competitors have come up with a similar technology yet, it must be hard tech. Kudos to the team for making this happen!

GPS Failure. This golf app used to work well. Idk what’s happened as of late, but the gps always tells me I’m some 5k feet away from the hole I’m on. Then I have to switch to the previous hole and back to current to get app to pick up my current location. Very inconvenient when your on the course and are walking. Just more time your not thinking about the next shot because your getting frustrated trying to fix app to see how far away you are. Won’t be using this app any longer.

Great app, especially for watch. This app work

Can’t sign in. I have used this app for a couple of years. Now all of a sudden it doesn’t recognize my email. I can’t even create a new account. The Facebook login won’t work.

Don’t Buy This. I downloaded this app and purchased this subscription. Then, installed it on my iwatch as a range finder. If I went to one course, it would find a different course. Four times in a row, I could not get the app to find the course I was at. I emailed Track My Golf several times. No response. Finally I threw in the towel and asked for a refund. Of course, no response. I do not recommend this app. Very frustrating.

Good functionality, but need to update courses. I like the functionality of this app. The watch app is awesome and works great without your phone nearby. However, they are slow to update courses. Poppy hills still has not been updated and it was rebuilt in 2014...

App. The app will no longer load golf courses, I deleted the app and reinstalled it and still won’t load.

Used to be great now useless. This app has gotten worse and worse over the last year. First logging into your paid premium account was a crap shoot. It wouldn’t work again and again then all the sudden you’re in. Don’t dare try to log out and go thru that again. Then it started crashing after you took a swing. Their support blamed it on the watch iOS. They need to update their software if it has trouble with the iOS. Then most recently I’ve saved rounds via the watch. Actually confirmed the score was saved in my phone. When I go back into the phone app to review my round, my round is no where to be found. Their response to this has been crickets. Haven’t heard from them. The last straw was yesterday I open a round and they don’t have all the tee boxes listed but no big deal. I select one and start a round. Go to my watch to resume the round and get “object not found”. Needless to say this app and all other golf apps need to work quickly. I can’t just stand there on the tee box and tell the starter to wait for my watch to sync. Especially if I have to restart my phone and watch every time something goes awry. I will not be renewing my subscription. I’m done.

App keeps randomly closing. This year, I’ve noticed that the app keeps closing on my so I’m constantly reopening it! It’s unusable this way.

Awful. Downloaded app tracked every shot for 18 holes , when I tried to gets stats it says you need to upgrade for a fee

Setup new phone. I bought a new phone and it does not work on my watch any longer. I asked for help but true help at best is limited. I am also trying to cancel and I can’t.

What?. The app is stuck on a course I played last year and won’t let me switch. When I try to switch it tells me I am in offline mode?

Couldn’t get watch to work. iPhone X and Apple Watch 3. Tried multiple times and wasted half a round of golf trying to get the app to run on the watch. Never showed any info on watch.

Good but could be better. I searched around for the best app that works with Apple Watch and I think this is it. Like everything except its a little weak on statistics, doesn’t calculate much even tho it has all the data. The worst thing is that it calculates average driving distance but includes your iron shots on par 3s. Completely worthless. And yes, I did the math to verify this assertion. Update: they fixed the error and notified me of it, great support from the developers! Thank you!

So many issues. This app used to run great until I think iOS 12 maybe early, now there’s issues with accurate yardage, when you swing it used to track your swings pretty well now the app closes on your watch and you have to reopen the app on your watch so you lose everything over and over again I’m so disappointed and I’m paying what $18 a year for this I’m going to have to cancel my subscription on this app and find a better one

Swing statistics not showing watch or phone. Swing statistics were working while I was at the range Completed my practice and now can’t find any of the swing statistics to analyze what I need to work on. I am on the trial version of premium. I commend you for offering a trial version, now I know not to pay for this app.

What happened? Used to be great.. Other than the battery hit to my watch, I loved this app. Until recently when golf courses opened back up and I played my first round at my regular course. All of my history, stats, club inventory...everything is GONE. I played the round anyway, got to my car after and found nothing from that round saved either! What a waste of $19. I won’t be renewing at the end of this season. Looking elsewhere.

Ripoff. Used to work fine, now I can’t even login. I have submitted several requests to resolve this and can’t get a response. Looks like this app developer took the money and ran. Total BS!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Awsom app. But it dose not have the newest version of the golf cours that i play most, but it has the cours but older version still purfact app for golfers whit or witout Apple Watch.

Connectivity. Paying for the Pro version is a waste of money. I should have stayed with the free version. It does not connect with my IWatch. When it does it disconnects constantly. Too many bugs still in the Pro version. It is a shame for I really liked the free version

Bait and switch. Enjoyed the app for about 1 year. Then, after having paid for this years subscription the app no longer works on my watch and won’t locate itself by phone or watch. Now I see there appears to be a renamed app that looks like this one.

Zero Support. I’ll change my review once someone returns one of my 3 requests for a password reset. You cant use the app without it.

Premium not working on my 4th gen Apple Watch. Premium worked on my third generation watch, but when I upgraded to the 4th generation, the watch app will not move past the “upgrade to premium” screen or allow me to use any of the features that I did prior. My previous 3rd generation watch still works and in fact the 4th generation watch worked on my iphone 6+, but not on my iPhone X. We’ve taken it to an Apple store and we have unpaired, re downloaded apps on both phones and watches with no luck. Please fix this issue.

Does not sync with apple watch. I was looking forward to tracking my game, but this app doesnt sync with my apple watch 3 series. I paid for premium and the thing is useless to me without the watch functions.

Good app. Seems to be fairly accurate. Only played a limited number of courses.

WAS great for AppleWatch. The app was fantastic at first. Yardage was spot on when verified with distance finder and the tracking of clubs, yardages, and shot placement was great. Last few times out, the app keeps dropping on the AppleWatch so you have to click on home screen, then tap on the app to reopen. Then the swing tracker (on auto-capture) only picked up every couple shots. Frustrating, especially since it was so great previously.

Unusable. After subscribing to premium, rebooting my watch five times, rebooting my phone five times, and STILL being stuck in the loop of “resume game” and “sync with phone”, etc, I’m done. I canceled my subscription. I couldn’t use it on the course, and after the game I couldn’t get things to sync properly after fiddling for an hour. I’m done. Great concept, horribly executed. 100% unusable. I never got it to perform a single function.

Will not sync with my Apple Watch series 8. I’ve used this app for years with no issues Was using an iPhone 10 with an Apple series 4 Upgraded my phone to an iPhone 14 pro and an Apple Watch series 8 The app still works on the iPhone and connects to the Apple Watch but never sync’s

Love the app- especially with Apple Watch. Love this app, works seemlessly with Apple Watch, tracks shots, records scores, records club distances- overall a great add to my game!

Apple Watch 5 issues. Does not auto advance. Screen goes dim and bright for some reason. Pressing a button to activate shot Tracy seems to be lazing programming particularly when it registers a swing...also crashed when I ended play.

Independent of phone. Got a brand new Apple Watch, primarily for playing golf, then downloaded a couple of golf gps apps, and it turns out they all need my phone to be around. That defeats the whole purpose. On the course, you want quick glance, not pulling out your phone from pocket, then unlock it... I came from Garmin golf watch, it is super convenient that I do not have to lug my phone around with me. It gives me all the information I need, right on the wrist. It was a big improvement from having to hunt down the sprinkler heads, and estimate the distance from there. Now that I am spoiled by the golf watches, I am really surprised all the Apple Watch apps need the phone to be around. The independcy from phone of TrackMyGolf convinced me to upgrade to premium. I believe, if you have the LTE version of the watch, you do not need the phone at all. But I have an Apple Watch series 2, I need to download courses when the phone is around (understandable because you need network connection), and then I can use the watch without the phone. I found out later that even this is needed only once, when I played the same course next time, the course is already cached on the watch, I do not even need to have phone anymore. During the round, the watch gives very accurate GPS distance. I compared with my Garmin watch, it is usually within a couple of feets. I also checked with a friend's bushnell, it is dead on too. I am glad that I can finally ditch my Garmin watch, I do not want to charge two devices at the same time. For those of you thinking about buying an Apple Watch, this is the number one reason you should get it, because you do not need Garmin, you do not need Bushnell any more.

Battery drainer!!. Great app, lasts just for 18 holes on 100% battery oh my Apple Watch!

Poor performance out of the gate. After extensive researching of golf apps for my Apple Watch, I thought I give Track My Golf a shot. Well, after downloading the app last night, it did recognize the nearest course, which was about 8 miles away. I was not going to play that course this morning and was expecting it to recognize a different course about 15 miles from home. Upon arrival, I tapped on the Track My Golf icon. The correct course did indeed show up, but it was prompting me to “Resume Game”. Good gracious! I hadn’t even started yet! I found myself locked onto that screen, unable to exit or even advance anything...even that aggravating message (Resume Game)at the screen’s bottom, which I tried to press. Nothing happens, even after repeated attempts. Such a disappointing round !!!!! Tim E.

Not working with my Apple Watch. I have contacted the tech support but still doesn’t work

Cost me a new Apple Watch. Worked ok. I wanted to use on my watch so paid for yr subscription. Worked for a couple months. Then would open randomly and run battery down. Even closing in the dock on my watch it would open randomly and run it down. Ran down so much that after 3rd day, fried my watch and I had to buy another. I sent them an email asking to cancel the rest of my subscription because I wouldn’t use on new watch for fear of doing same thing. The told me to go manage my subscription in iTunes but there is no way to get a refund. So a $20 subscription cost me $400 and I can’t use it! Will NEVER recommend and will never use another app made by the same company.

Shot tracking. Have only used once, but it only detected 1/3 of my shots.

Didn’t track anything automatically.... Bought specifically for its claim to automatically track shots using Apple Watch. Tapped start round, had app loaded in watch and it’s as if I never played. No record of the round whatsoever. OH and I paid for premium. All of these apps are so cluttered with features and none do the basics well. Frustrating.

Track My Golf. Works great with my Apple Watch and ease to use, very accurate. One negative too expensive for an annual fee. Rather pay a one time fee and be done.

Apple Watch too slow. After using the app on the watch for a few weeks, it is nearly impossible with the Apple Watch. Can take a minute to update and without opening the iPhone version the accuracy is poor. Swing detect is good when it works, which is lucky to be 1 in 10 on the course. Wouldn't recommend for Apple Watch.

Using Apple Watch Isn’t Free ?. Would be good to write that using Apple Watch actually costs a subscription fee somewhere. Got out on the course on the weekend then discovered I couldn’t use it as I didn’t have time to go through the links. Appears to be a good App for that and I guess I’ll be able to try it next time. Just would have been good to get the heads up guys :)

Having issues. Can’t get app to work on Apple Watch , sent email to support with no response after week, pretty poor considering I have a premium subscription.

Very simple and easy to use. Played a couple of rounds with this app and it finds the course you are playing instantly and entering your score is very simple and unobtrusive, I use the gps for a rough estimate for distance to the green but use a laser for a more accurate number, the gps seemed to be pretty close most of the time Definitely would recommend this app.

Nearly perfect. I resisted using a phone or Apple Watch preferring to use a range finder for the last year but finally decided to bite the bullet and get something which I could use on my Apple Watch it would be simple to enter.I’ve had no troubles at all getting it to work on the Apple Watch and it’s been a revelation having all the statistics to look at after. It’s been thoughtfully designed and I haven’t had any issues with it recognising hits. One improvement I would like is to have the score for the hole appear on the first screen (Perhaps bounded by a square) rather than having to scroll to the second so I know the shot has definitely been recognised and the other would be to have the club default to a driver for each new hole or preference club because I sometimes forget and In the opening hole is it gonna be the same club except on the par-3’s

‘free app’ ??. Downloaded onto IPhone (where it works fine) but when I tried to use at my course on my new iwatch it said ‘only available on Premium service’. Very annoying. False advertising?

Very useful. It's so easy to use and I can imagine it would be even easier with the Apple Watch. I love how it doesn't try to be the ultimate golf app and just gives you what you need. I'll be using this every round!

Works great on phone. I got the premium subscription so I could use all of the features on my Apple Watch Series 4 worked great till I up graded watch software to 5.1.1 Now the track my golf app sets in the apps available area and won’t load onto watch. I have tried rebooting both phone and watch removing and reinstalling app to no avail. If in future I am able to use app on my watch I will rate again !!!

Metric. The app looks great and easy to use. Can you release and update that is in metric measurements please.

Not working. I have an iPhone 6, IOS 9.0.1 and iWatch OS2. On the watch, it continuously displays "refreshing". Unable to end a round on the iPhone (user interface unfathomable)

1st Round Review. I played my first round just last weekend, tracking with this app and my Apple Watch 2. The automatic swing detection with recognition of actual shot versus practise shot was very accurate (until the watch ran out of battery, I think I started the round on 55% and made it through 13-14 holes before it died, so should be good for 18 on a full charge). This is the clear advantage of this app versus my previous tracking app, GOLFSHOT, however it doesn't carry the same level of stats for analysis. I will continue to use the app for the swing detection, but would prefer the scoring/stats of GOLFSHOT.

Simple and clever!. Finally a golf GPS and tracking app to use on the course that doesn't feel like a chore or an interruption! The auto shot tracking is exactly the sort of clever use of the capabilities of the Apple Watch that made me want one in the first place. Being able to start my game straight from the watch rather than the phone seems so obvious one wonders why other apps can't do the same.

Easy to use. Most apps are quite difficult to update quickly while playing a round of golf. Which makes you and others frustrated by slowing the game down. This app is quick and easy to update on the fly.

Impressive. Really like getting distances, my stats tracked and being given a club recommendation. Really helpful and allows increased focus and precision on the course!

Attention Apple Watch Series TWO users. I recently took the plunge and switched off my dedicated Garmin golf watch in favour of the new Apple Watch 2. I was surprised that there were no apps for the Apple that would work without the phone. I can across this app and I've been super happy with the guys who administer it. They are very responsive to questions and they have made several major updates in the month I've been using it. Now it does not require your iPhone! Keep up the good work. You have my endorsement!

Bonne idée mais.... De bonne idées mais j'ai l'impression que c'est une version bêta. Il a détecté seulement 4 ou 5 fois mon élan. Et le gps ne semblait pas être précis comme celui de golfshot. J'espère que d'ici l'année prochaine, que l'interface, le gps et les détections des coups vont être amélioré.... Si oui, je n'achèterai pas Arccos. Ça serait bien aussi de pouvoir modifier les coups après une partie, car lorsque j'ai regardé ma partie, j'ai vu des drive de 400 verges, des coups en plein milieu d'un lac, etc... Amener une interface comme golfshot ou fun golf, avec les fonctionnalités similaire au Arccos, et ça serait génial!

Doesn’t work with the Apple Watch. No matter how’s many times I tried to uninstall and reinstall on the phone and the watch it keeps telling me to get a premium account even though I have already paid the yearly fee. Feel scammed that it doesn’t work on the watch

Wonderful GPS Golf App. This is the golf app I was looking for! My course was available immediately. The GPS response is very fast. It moves quickly from hole to hole. The layout is clean and clear showing all the information I need. The basic version contains the functions I need and is not cluttered with a lot of extras that I don't want. Well done.

Terrific App!!!. I am an avid golfer and have been using this app for several months. It is terrific! I really like the fact that the iWatch works as a stand alone gps. I no longer use my Garmin. The iPhone gps and scoring is also excellent. Thanks for developing such a great app.

Lies!!! - No Watch App. False advertising, there is no app for the Apple Watch. I downloaded this specifically for the advertised gps from watch feature so that I didn’t have to carry my phone in my pocket. I paid for premium, but THERE IS NO APP FOR APPLE WATCH.

Uninstalled day 2. I downloaded , installed for use on phone and watch. I even upgraded to paid version right away which gives yuh a 7 day trial. Went to course next day and it get starting it was not connected? The watch was ok but wouldn’t start because it needed to connect with the phone. This is insane. Had data on , kept wanting me to start playing the course close to my house where I downloaded it. Location services and data was on. Useless when yuh must pay and fight it out between a watch and a phone. Deleted and canceled subscription.

Don't purchase the premium or use for Apple Watch. I looked at the apps description and watched the video. I thought it would be a great app. I have an Apple Watch so I wanted to use it for yardage distance. The yardage was way off. When I tried clicking to advance to the second hole it would never go to it. So this $20 premium purchase was a complete waste because I couldn't use it after the first hole. The app on the watch is very complex and it was hard to maneuver around. The free version was fine to use on my phone. I dragged the target to where my ball was and it gave accurate distance. But I don't like have to keep taking my glove off to move the target to where my ball is. To me this app doesn't even deserve a star. I would rather invest money into a true range finder or gps watch.

Best Golf GPS App for Apple Watch by Far!!!. This is easily the best GPS app for Apple Watch. You just open your phone when you get to the course and start your round, then open the app on your watch, and put your watch in airplane mode. And that’s it! Then you have accurate gps yardages from your wrist (Not your Iphone). I Love it! Honestly this app was a big factor when choosing to buy my Apple Watch. I would absolutely recommend this app to any golfer with an Apple Watch. The paid subscription is totally worth it, and it beats purchasing a range finder or expensive garmin golf watch.

Such a brilliant App. Bought a iWatch 2 and this app works seemlessly with it. Have used this app several times and it's so nice not to have to get your phone out to check for distances and input scores - there were some glitches but that was likely to be down to the phones signal. I would thoroughly recommend this app. Plus it saves you a couple of hundred quid on getting golf specific hardware.

Love it!. The app delivers what it promises. I love using this on course mainly because of the GPS (which I think is the best in the industry) and what it does for me when managing a course and a round. Only small issue is that it doesn’t pick up ALL putts -- especially tap ins. I just add the putt-editing into my routine for in-between holes and see no issue with that. I also have only great things to say about their customer service. All in all, a great addition to my game and technology I see soon becoming a key for every golfer.

Great app. Very pleased with all features after a break on period due to my own schedule both with golf and technology. It is fun to use, helpful and doesn't take more than a moment to use and record play. After a couple of years use, I continue to love the app and look forward to using the new version just out. This is the best use of my Apple Watch.

AWESOME app, beats others. Don't waste you money buying the handle held laser models. This App is awesome !!!!!!!!!! It gives you everything you need and is extremely accurate. You know the front and back of the green distance at just a glance. My playing partner had a hand held laser model and I had this app. by the third hole we just used the TrackMyGolf App. My playing partner returned his $ 400. laser the next day. Buy the premium upgrade, you will not be disappointed !!!

Overall Good. I think this app is good overall but it could be great. I have two specific issues. First of all the club customization that is used on my I Phone does is not synchronized with my Apple Watch. Makes no sense so know I can track my yardage correctly. If you play on a course that has 27 holes there is no way to show the two douses you play that day as a round. Again a common situation that should have an easy solution.

Never Keep Score Again. Used the new version yesterday and it was almost perfect with only two practice swings detected as real swings. Simple push of delete and I was back on track. Being able to see shots on map after round was what I was hoping would finally arrive on this app. BRAVO My only wish, and I might be doing something wrong, is finding this app for iPad so I can review my rounds on a larger screen. FYI the GPS was accurate to within 2 yards of yardage supplied by the course and most times right on.

NOT ready for prime time. Lot of difficulty in getting synced with ID and password after premium purchase. Finally got passed that (8hrs). Read all the FAQs and help videos. Was able to load my local course and explore the app and iWatch. Was excited to be playing the next day at neighboring city course. Started playing and the only course that would show up was one 20 miles away (my home course). Tried repeatedly on each hole for the first 10 holes to get app and watch to recognize the course I was actually standing on. Rebooted both phone and watch, tried numerous combinations of settings. Never would recognize the course I was standing on, just offered the one 20 miles away. Not impressed. Finally played my home course. Registering all shots... failed. Trying to up date score card...total failure. This company would do well to create some detailed help file and to make a score card that can be easily updated on iPhone.

Drains battery. Seemed cool for 11 holes. But then Apple watch battery died. Not recommended.

The best golf app for The Watch. I tried a few other subscription based golf apps this season to use with my AW2. This is the only app that works with the AW2 without it being "tethered" to an iPhone. It is accurate, just not as accurate as my old Garmin. Score keeping feature is fantastic, although a little sluggish if you have to enter a score that exceeds double bogey 😥. The annual subscription is reasonably priced too. This app is an update or two away from getting 5 stars. But it's pretty close.

Simply Amazing. This is the most intuitive/easy to use app I have ever used, and I have tried most other apps. Editing shots (if needed) is simple and fast. Not needing human intervention and edit has every other system beat.. hands down. The break down of stats into several aspects of your game makes seeing what you should focus on and practice easy. Lastly, customer support is outstanding!

Great GPS App!. I have been using this app for a while and it is really accurate and helpful with getting your distances right. Love the on course GPS, but hated the clutter of the old version. New version is so much cleaner and easier to use. Kudos to TrackMyGolf. Just played a practice round on my local course to plan out my strategy and can't wait to get outside for the real thing this weekend.

Constant Crashing On Course and Bad distances. Was really excited to use this app on the course and even bought the year subscription. First thing is that app kept crashing on my watch. Had to restart it about a dozen times. Also distances when you go back and look over your round are way off on the map. I would check my shots from shot to shot and when I went back yardages were short 15-30 yards. Double checked that on other golf apps and found the same errors based off their distances. Third, even though I see the shots on the round page they aren't showing up on the club statistics page (that page isn't user friendly also. Would be better if you could actually pull up a list of shots for each club.) Lastly, needs an option to use watch GPS over phone. If the phone is in range it used that which leads to a lot of mid measured shots if the phone is in your cart and you aren't. App need some work!

Must buy!. This app is pretty awesome. I purchased the premium offer so I can use it with my Apple watch. I must say, being able To stand over your ball, look at your watch, and know your distance is pretty amazing. The ONLY downfall is that it eats through your Apple watch battery like no other, but I'm sure that'll be fixed sooner than later with an update. Well with the $18 a year from premium.

Good app for golf gps. I'm fairly new to golf and this app has everything I could want. Yardage is extremely accurate, and you can even get distances for your lie to any hazard on the course. Also helps me get to know which club to hit, since it tracks your club use automatically and it will track your distances on every swing if you want. I bought the year subscription and I'm very pleased.

70 year old 85 handicapper. Does everything I wanted plus much more. I use it every time I play - 3 times per week. Once I started using TrackMyGolf I immediately sold my Garmin. I only wish there was a way to submit my scores directly to my GHIN account. Thanks for a wonderful app. I'm now 75 years old and this was my first round with the new update. Love the auto tracking on Apple Watch.

Great. I’ve tried different golf gps apps, but this is the best for my needs. I wanted something that I could use with the Apple Watch and at the same time should be able to score. This works great. GPS distances are instantaneous and more accurate than my Bushnell golf watch. Scoring is easy and lets you enter the clubs for each shot on the watch itself. It automatically detects each shot based on impact with the ball and most of the time you don’t have to enter each stroke unless you want to enter the club. Even for putting it detects the number of puts. Over all 18$ or so a year was worth for me.

Getting better. I was one of the ones that wasn't initially crazy about the new app design but I called the customer support phone number and they assured me they will be addressing the items that others like myself had asked for over the next few app releases. Glad to see they came through as promised. This is now the best golf gps app. I've been using this app for 4 months and it really plays a part in my golf game every time I play.

This is A Major Breakthrough, no doubt.. THe app works seamlessly after setting up with your iphone. It automatically tracked my shots in a round. The feedback is very very rich. Unlike other one note apps, this one analyzes your game from multiple angles (accuracy, consistency, distance hit and deviation, misses left, right, short, long), to a depth that you would never have been able to do on your own. This will accelerate improvement at every level. Run to download this.

My Favorite Golf App!. I have been using this app for a while: it is very accurate for getting your distances right and has really helped my game. Almost all of the courses I have played have 3D maps that are way better than the satellite images on the other gps apps I sampled. Have been using the virtual round feature to try to keep my game in shape in the off season!

Changes how you approach the game. I'm not good at golf (21 handicap), but I'm getting better thanks to TrackMyGolf, It identified areas of my game that I needed to work on first. My chipping and putting were atrocious. I can now see visible results from the work I've put in on the practice greens. Next up, hitting more fairways and losing fewer balls. Their customer support is great. They're always quick to reply to bug reports and feature requests.

Fantastic app, even better customer support/service. Great app that continues to improve with each release. Only exception was the second to last release. I contacted customer support and promptly received a response explaining the situation and that a resolution was waiting on Apple for approval. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a follow-up email letting me know the fix was available for download. Good luck pulling me away from TrackMyGolf after this great experience! Thanks!! .

Beginner golfer. As a beginner I have looked for tools to improve my game, and boy did I find a jackpot!! This now allows my instructor to teach me where need be, and I have made some tremendous leaps forward. Thank you for such an amazing product and keep up the great customer service, you have been an amazing help to learn how to use your product. Never heard of any other product that provides swing feedback on the course, this is so helpful.

Much improved and very helpful. Newest version more stable and useable. Provides easy and accurate measurement of club ranges and distance to hole (core function of a golf gps app). Can add or move shots to accurately reflect location of club use if you forgot to select club or added it after you left the spot. Responsive customer service on a question too. Worth it to me as it helped me establish club distances when I purchased my new clubs recently. Easy to add club use by simple selecting club from course screen. Go get the Apple Watch for this app.

Was Hoping For Standalone GPS Support. As the title says, I was hoping for standalone GPS with my Apple Watch V.2. The app itself on the iPhone is awesome, it integrates GPS readouts with a satellite map overlay. What I am really looking for however is the ability to revive GPS distances based on my watch location not on my phone. I contacted their support team and they informed me that there is no way to ensure the yardages displayed on the watch were based off the watches location when the watch and phone are within bluetooth range of one another, they suggested I enable airplane mode or just leave my phone at home. I do enjoy getting my messages on my phone while golfing so I really don't want to do that. 3 stars for the iPhone application, unfortunately it's just not what I'm looking for. For those looking for an app that shows yardages based on the phone location look at the "Ping" app.

Accurate GPS + auto shot tracking. This is the best use of my Apple Watch. I just got into golfing recently, and I looked into buying a Garmin GPS watch, then I found this app. Not only I saved a lot of money, but it has many more features then the Garmin. The downside is that sometime Apple Watch is slow at locking into GPS signal, I think it is due to the watch having no GPS chip by itself and rely on the phone. This app did a great job showing when GPS signal is acquired and its accuracy so that I know when I need to wait for signal lock in. The shot tracking works flawlessly for me, it is such a convenient feature.

I am sold. The least distracting golf tracker I have found yet. The only time I take my phone out: - when I start a round - when I need to see distance to hazards - after a hole to make sure I registered all my putts? The biggest takeaway from this app: I get an actual smart (distance) range, and usage for each club that reveals where I need to put the most work in. Am I a great golfer?... No. But I could definitely see golfers of all skill levels benefit from this tool. You do need the Apple Watch to get the most benefits, but you can use iPhone only and track manually.

Don’t Buy!. This app does not work with Apple Watch series 5.

Missing one feature. I have used this app for a full year and have recommended it to all my buddies. It is a great app! I would rate this app with 5 stars except I think it needs one feature added. I would like to be able to manually enter club distances. I still have to keep my phone within easy reach, because the phone app version is so much more user friendly. I could not accurately score a round with just the watch. Please upgrade. Thanks.

Excellent with Apple Watch. Been searching for 2 years for a good GPS app on the Apple Watch. Used Golfshot for 2 years and others. All had performance/reliability problems on the watch. TrackMyGolf gives immediate and accurate distance information on my Apple Watch 3. The automatic swing detection doesn’t record 100%!of my swings but I’m mostly interested in the distance info. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to future enhancements.

Great product, your get so much more than you expect. Most tokens went on easy but the putter was a problem so got worried, as it broke. Started using expecting to find out the true distance I hit each club and I did. Edit facilities to correct a change of club or missed touch are great. But when I went into "insights" I found out so much more. Where I miss each club (short, long, left right); my strengths and weaknesses against other players (handicap scratch, 5, 10 or 15). By adjusting to see only last 10 rounds rather than all rounds can refine

Superior to other golf gps apps. Having used just about every golf gps and range finder in the app store, you should take my word for it when I say that this thing rocks. I don’t have an Apple Watch so I just use the phone function, but that is good for me. It’s really helped me hit the right club at the right times. Usually I’m so focused on my swing that the club I choose gets forgotten, but I like how this helps me determine which club to use and when.

Outstanding app. I'm a 14 handicap play numerous courses in leagues and snips competitions. Have game golf and Arcoss as well. Must say i'm impressed. To put the sytem to the test decided to start the round but just leave iphone in pocket and ignore for the round. WOW. Worked excellent all shots recorded except few penalty shot and two tap in putts. Edited round when I got home to correct score - very easy to do. Exactly what I wanted a system that tracks all shots without constant tinkering. In my mind an awesome system worth the money if you seriously want to explore and track your shot making. Truly a system that will improve your game by showing you your strength and weaknesses on the course you are playing. Well done TrackMyGolf!

Negative Personal Experience. In my personal experience, I have a few unfortunate issues. The golf course caching does not function well. If I lose my cell signal on the course, the app will not load the current hole details. I have also had issues with the gps tracking. The app will sometimes take a long time to track my location and delay my play. The swing tempo tracker has only worked once for me. I have to manually enter my shot details for every hole which takes my focus away from my next shot. In summary, I deeply regret purchasing a one year subscription as I can’t get a refund.

Apple Watch rocks. I recently purchased an Apple Watch. I used it a couple of times. it works. (iPhone 7, iOS 10.1) Very nice interface and definitely makes it easy to track score, see the hole layout, and check distance to hole. I especially like the ability to touch on the hole to see how far it is to different spots. My biggest complaints are that there is no option to change gender/tee selection and the app doesn't show up in background refresh so I have to wait to refresh. I have iPhone 6 on iOS 8.

Awesome product. this is an amazing app. I've played two rounds with it and it was able to capture my round without me ever having to know it was there. It's been great seeing where my strengths and weaknesses are and will really change how I strategize next time I go out. My buddy and I had a blast after the round at the 19th hole comparing our stats, who had the most greens hit, fairways hit and reminiscing and analyzing our round. Can't wait to get out there and use it again!

great upgrade. At few dollars a year for the upgrade, this has to be the best value in golf GPS on the market. The distance grids to the pin and the layout of course fairways and hazards is excellent. I recommend getting the upgrade as this seems to result in more accurate distances. Also the upgrade gives approximate effect on wind direction and speed. The stats records for each round are helpful. Great value.

Satisfied. I've been using another golf app, and have recently been getting frustrated with it because the gps load times are slow, and the yardage a are off by at least 10 yards... I just used this app, and I'm a convert. I deleted my old app, and enjoy this much more. Fast gps location, and I compared with my friends laser, and was 2-3 yards difference, which is far better than 10! Great app!

Good app, GPS is a bit slow. Good app, pretty accurate. Only complaint is that the gps takes a bit long to load actual location when on the course and hard to tell when it has stopped reading the distance. But if you play between 5 or 10 yards distance between clubs, it gives you a pretty accurate reading.

Superb. This really makes swing by swing work to improve your round of golf. You can keep your phone in your pocket unless you want to check the map/wind -everything else is handled: distance to pin/shot tracking/scoring/drive accuracy/sand saves/no of putts. Awesome update!. TrackMyGolf is A MAZING! Used it yesterday after the update and it worked very well and gave accurate and detailed info. My buddy was using Game Golf and there really is no comparison folks. I get real time data about my swing, and don't have to tag anything and he gets none of that and has to tag every shot. TrackMyGolf keeps getting better and the customer service is excellent. Keep it going fellas!

Works great, battery life is awesome. I love the idea of being able to analyze a round of golf without having to manually input data into a PC program shot-by-shot, the way I used to (which meant keeping notes of every shot while actually playing the round). The trackers work perfectly for me, the watch battery has plenty of juice left after a round.

Not flawless, but totally awesome!!. I'm a golf geek. I love stats. This system rocks. Have logged eight rounds and never want to play without it again. Yes, there's a small amount of shot editing that's required, so it's not perfect, but I'm totally OK with that given the benefits and given that editing on watch is super easy. My favorite features: the rangefinder (super accurate and makes my Garmin watch redundant), stat tracking is automatic (I don't have to take any extra steps), the handicap breakdown for every aspect of my game (really shows me my strengths and weaknesses). So, while there's some room for improvement, suffice it to say I am all in, makes my Apple Watch investment worthwhile.

New updates great. I have been using and recording scores on TrackMyGolf for a year. It is a great App for golf. TrackMyGolf has made steady improvement with each update. There are many cool features. I have grown to appreciate and trust the systems club recommendations particularly on new courses. As an Apple Watch users I love its performance up until now. Their latest update works even better I would clearly recommend getting an Apple Watch instead of a GPS watch.

Better than stand alone. I've been using this app for a year now and its better than a stand alone as far as I'm concerned. The newest update is slick. I played a full round and my phone has been off charge for 6.5hrs and I've got 65% battery left. I got this without changing the brightness. My old phone running this app has dead by number 15 if I wasn't careful to turn the screen off quickly. Get this app!

Has Potential. The app is nice in that uses the watch gps by itself for distances (you must use airplane mode or the gps will automatically use the phone). It doesn't do well in auto detecting iron shots less than 100 yds so you either have to remember to look after ever short iron shot or risk having the average distances for your clubs be off. Doesn't do super well at detecting a lot of putts for me either. Basically for $16 it's a lot cheaper than Golfshot but for me it's not worth $16 every single year to have to worry about tracking short iron shots and putts.
