Suggestion. I have some suggestions- with multi night livestreams, it’s unclear if you’re buying one show or multiple nights. I would change the menus to make it clearer. Like for Dead and Company it literally says 4-night pass on the bottom of the ticket page and then it turns out to be one night. Also there are discrepancies between the promotional subscriber rates you are offered when logging in on different devices, and in certain cases depending on which page you open on the site. For example last month I purchased a Billy strings show that was being sold for 2 different prices depending on which way you navigated to it on the Nugs site. It would be really nice if you could improve this. Same thing when you buy a show on one device but try to watch it on another device, it will only show that you already bought the show if you navigate to it through a certain path.

Great content, mediocre app. I love the content, the video feeds, and the organization of commercially available live performances by date. But the app needs some improvement including: 1) There is a digital skip between tracks and since most of the music on here is jam bands I’m getting that throughout a show 2) I want an easy to access view of my favorites. They seem to just influence what get show, but I want to see when one of my favorites has new content. 3) Less clicks to get to the “see all”. Usually I want to be able to scroll through the list instead of overthinking recommendations (see favorites comment above) 4) Downloaded content will only play when on line. What’s the point? I wanted it for the airplane 5) the backwards skip takes you to the beginning of the previous song, not the current track

Absolutely have to add The Boss to subscribers. I’ve been a subscriber for a number of months now mainly because I’m a huge Pearl Jam fan and the collection is phenomenal but for the money you pay each month it would only be fair to add the Springsteen shows to monthly subscribers. If those were added I feel this app would be absolutely off the charts and your subscription base would start to rocket Thanks for a good live music app guys. Come on, throw some live Boss shows in for us

The app is terrible. The content on nugs is stellar. The app itself is not what it should be. They know of the problems but do not much care. It makes it really hard to support the bands you love when there are near constant issues. Nugs support is the absolute WORST part of the entire experience. They just don’t care. They have a crappy attitude, I suspect it’s because the support person is in WAY over her head. She is clueless , so its always the users issue, not Nugs. They will turn it back on you every single time with lines like “no one else is reporting this issue so it must be something that YOU are doing”. It isn’t you. It’s Nugs. I have emailed all of the bands I love and support on Nugs and encouraged all of them (I’ve purchased at least 200 nugs shows, that’s right PURCHASED) to also put their shows up on Bandcamp. Because you know what’s never failed on me??? That’s right, Bandcamp. It’s unfortunate, I love to support the bands I follow by purchasing their shows. Nugs is making it harder to do that, when what they SHOULD be doing is making their app work better for both the customer and the bands. They just don’t care enough to put their arrogant pride and ego aside and hire someone with the knowledge to fix the problems. Come on nugs, be better!!!!

The app works 5% of the time. Nugs offers an amazing catalog of music. The app itself however might be the worst application, in terms of functionality I have ever used. It simply does not work. It cannot stream over cellular data unless I do a series of random things to make it function and it’s still a game of chance. Finally get it to stream and get a phone call? Good luck getting it to stream again. Want to plug in your charger? It’ll have the same effect. I’ve reached out to support and gotten nothing in return other than to reinstall it. Everyone I know has the same issues or a totally different set of them all together. The music is worth the money and subscription even with all of this frustration. I’ve had different phones and experience the same issues across devices and IOS updates. I have never ever reviewed an app but this thing is such a hot mess I had to. If you’re into live music, get it but understand you’ll be in for a lot of suffering just trying to get the thing to function.

Almost 20 Years of Listening. I have been enjoying nugs' offerings since the early days of their free Bonnaroo streams, and the catalog with the subscription these days just keeps growing. It's so much fun to listen to every new show release while a band is on tour and get a really good feel for their evolving sound and then cut over to Headhunters or some other amazing studio album in the catalog. All Grateful Dead studio and live albums? Yep. A bunch of decades of live soundboards of bands I don't even listen to? Got that too if I ever want to check those bands out. Videos and the occasional free-to-subscriber livestreams available, too. I dug it then and dig it even more now with the app.

Should be able to stream on Samsung TVs. Need to use this app because for some reason nugs doesn’t work on Samsung TVs if you try to stream it through the Internet. I use the app with an adapter to an HDMI plug that will go to my TV. It usually works but occasionally gets wonky after an hour or so and will freeze. I have to disconnect and reconnect for it to get back into working. I also have issues between sets waiting for the music to start again where the app just keeps playing background music when actually, the show is started again. Only find out when I think it’s been too long, so I restart the app only to find out it’s in the middle of the music.

The best. I don’t even know where to begin. This app makes me so happy. I haven’t listened to any other platform since I got nugs. So many live shows from my favorite bands and my 11 year old gets to have access to a unique music library that a lot of kids don’t have. Very grateful for that and I Couldn’t ask for much else! Makes my heart full. Will definitely be spreading the word.

Love it!. I love what I can access in Nugs. It’s the only monthly subscription I’m not willing to give up. I’m a big Billy Strings fan, so having access to audio from every single show is amazing. There are app glitches sometimes and I hate that purchased shows disappear in 48hrs, which is the reason for 4 stars. But I can still appreciate what this website and the app do offer. I use it all day, most days.

Great selection of music. This app has come a long way. It used to be really buggy, with a lot of different issues. Now it runs smooth all day long. I can’t even remember the last time I had any problems at all with this app. The music selection is amazing, at least as far as I’m concerned. All of my favorite bands upload just about every one of their shows to Nugs. I listen to this app for literally hours every day. Highly recommended.

Could be amazing. First, I use this app all the F'ing time... Great catalog. I also subscribe to Live Phish. So am a bit beholden to nugs... But for the life of me, why does it always forget what I am listening too? Scenario: I'm driving and listening to a Panic or Goose show... I'm streaming. It's half way through the 3rd song of the first set. I get home. I go inside my house. The next morning I get back to my car - and not only does it not remember where I was in that 3rd song, but it takes me back to the home screen and it doesn't even remember what show or even band I was listening to. Very, very annoying. A little better experience if it was a show I had downloaded... But still super annoying

Great content meets terrible app. The music is great but the operating of the app is really poor. The whole thing is clunky and impossible to use at times. “Offline” downloads often require a connection still which makes the feature absolutely useless. Streaming to a tv is next to impossible and with the most recent Dead and Co streams going terrible I know better than to ever purchase any shows on this platform. The company only offers the same canned response to each issue and has refused to refund people $ when a stream messes up that they pay for. Customer service is somehow the one thing this company does worse than streaming music you want to hear.

Gratitude. It is so important that listeners have access to dynamic historic live music… after experiencing Dead & Co at Citi-Field, my life has positively and constructively changed forever. The precious gift is that I can go to Nug’s and experience that all over again. I was born a drummer, and having the ability to play to the music, is awe-inspiring and enlightening. Guess what I’m doing now, while I’m throwing in a load of wash, to be hung up outside in the fresh air on my clothesline (nature’s free solar dryer)? Drumming to Althea! Thanks a million Nug’s!

Great App for listening to multiple bands!. I’ve had this app for years, it’s my go to if I want to listen or watch videos for my favorite bands. Subscribing for the annual subscription give me access both at home and on the go to music and videos from multiple devices, computer and smart phone! I highly recommend this app!!

Awful User Interface. Update: they did give me a refund. I changed from 1 Star, to 3. I ordered this to listen to one show and it wouldn’t let me listen to it. So it was kind of pointless. The app doesn’t have the music you’re looking for, unless it’s over 30+ days old. You can listen on the website in your browser, but it logs you out every time you close it. It doesn’t save your recent listens anywhere convenient and you have to painstakingly search and “trick” the app into finding the content you want. Just make your app work and clearly state what “premium” content is and tell us that we won’t be able to listen to it.

Fix the offline listening. Even when I listen to my downloaded albums, it says if they aren’t even downloaded to my phone… It’s still uses my data like they never even downloaded. i’m on a fixed data rate. I can’t afford to be at 0% for the next two weeks. I only listen to shows from my offline listening/ downloaded show. I had 40% data left yesterday I have zero left today. every single show I listened to was something I had downloaded to my device

The literal best app I’ve EVER paid for. Where to start. Amazing variety of bands with at least some live tracks plus. A great way to keep up with multiple different bands current live performances as soon as a couple hours as a couple hours after the show (in the case of UM and tDB). Has revived my love for a ton of bands and turned me onto so much awesome new music. I went with the annual price so $50/year. I’ve spent twice that on smokes this week. High quality soundboard audio direct from the band. Doesn’t get better than that! Bugs had been the best source for live music for two plus decades and still going strong!

Good but still not quite right. Still very buggy. App doesn’t show the right song playing when you are playing in the background. Start on a song and go back to the 3 songs later and it shows the first song playing when it isn’t any more. When you click on the song actually playing it restarts that song. Also, not well integrated with iOS. Stops for no reason, volume control doesn’t work half the time. Really annoying. i8 with latest updates. iPhone is not the issue.

Did a 5 year old make this app? Cause it's as fussy as one.... Of all the streaming apps I've ever used, this is the buggiest, slowest, and most frustrating. Full LTE reception, Wi-Fi, doesn't matter. This app is junk when it comes to it's performance. It's even giving me problems trying to download concerts so I can listen to them offline. Conceptually, I love the idea. This app needs some serious work. I just hope nobody is spending the monthly fee for their premium service.

Couldn’t even sample it. It is behind a subscription wall. Yes you can do seven days free with that hold placed on your account. The app itself seems very nicely designed. The musician options seem to be mostly classic rock artists. I got some nice headphones and their app said I could experience 360 reality audio on this app. So I came here. Went to play some sample videos or songs, and every single thing was locked behind the subscription. It would make sense to have some options so that we can test it out before signing up, and before subscribing.

Absolutely the best app!. I can’t express how much I love this app! If you love live music, especially jambands, it can’t be beat. This is the only music app I listen to if I’m solo, unfortunately my wife doesn’t dig the same music I do. But I can’t express how awesome it is to see a show (or miss a show), and then be able to listen to it the next day. Some shows may take a bit longer to be available, but it is well worth the wait. Plus the catalog of older shows is magnificent! Love love love the app!

Dude at trey band intermission showed me this app. This app is blowing my noggin into smithereens Cannot wait to see what this app is like in a year. So much amazing content being added. I got to listen to the shows that Ive be been to and that was tight but all of the other shows are epic too. I really hope this app goes somewhere. I know you’ve got the right people on your side… :)

Almost Great. Pros: The music is great. Sound quality is great. There is a lot of potential here. Cons: The library needs cleaned up. Often you will see an option for a band that is available but then there is no content. Also, there needs to be an option to where offline music is stored. There is no way to set to download to an SD card.

Gold Standard of Live Concert Streaming Music. nugs net is the gold standard for fans of Jam Bands and more. We are so fortunate to have such a quality service run by lovers of music and not some corporate conglomerate. The ability to stream live music into your living room or headphones is something not to be taken for granted. There was a day when we had to wait months and use snail mail to trade tapes of varying quality. Now we can open an app minutes before showtime and have HD sound quality. Connect nugs net to a high quality home stereo and you can have near concert quality or better music in your own home. An AppleTV and nugs net app is an easy way to get music to a home audio system. Or using DACs such as Audioquest offers for you phone to a home stereo / theater system. Nugs net provides high quality music in an excellent and highly functional app. And with ticket prices pushing 75 and 100 dollars these days and the costs of touring, well , nugs net becomes more and more attractive to me. A big thanks to all the audio , network , computer and API techs that make this happen. "Without love and dream it will never come true." Well, that dream is here and it is the fruit from the fine folks at nugs net.

Good service, basic functionality. I love the access to so much live music. It’s my primary source for listening to music. However, the functionality is very basic. The app takes too long to load, especially on cellular or if there’s no service at all. I always download my music for this eventuality but every time I go through this protocol of “no service, blah blah”. Just load to my downloads then. Sheesh. It would also be nice to be able to auto download shows. Make it customizable to the artist. And what about offering a widget for Lock Screen access!

Superp sound, still needs work. Love the app and use it a whole bunch. The playlist just continues to grow. Just needs some bug fixes. I use a iphone 7 and the slide up controls as well as when i pick up the phone are activated, they rarely pop up. It’ll sometimes just turn off my app and open apple music instead. This is frustrating when when at work double tapping my airbuds to pause music and then something else will start playing. Functionality on iphone just needs to be better. It will crash or get wonky forcing me to restart it and scrolling through trying to find where i left off at.

Terrible user interface. It is incredibly complicated to navigate this app. From simply finding the option to purchase a live stream, to figuring out what you are actually purchasing, it seems to be a cryptical puzzle. Want to purchase multiple events / series? Good luck with that puzzle. Choose a single event, then the option appears. You would think simply searching the artist you wish to live stream would provide the option, but no. Choose “watch” at the bottom to access that puzzle. Logging in, subscribing, viewing your account info…all puzzling. It is almost like they are challenging you to give them money. I love the service and the concept is ingenious, but the user interface is just awful.

Great Concept, Horrible Streaming.... It seems this app does not want to work properly. Every time I use this app, it skips songs and always crashes. I really want this service to work so I will not feel ripped off paying the HiFi price monthly but always seem to be let down whenever I get my hopes up. I hope this is able to be rectified...a complete disappointment, especially when paying $26 a month!!!!

Needs some work. The music is Great!! No complaints there. New shows are added every day and the sound quality is great! Two major problems I have with the app though (and why I probably won’t renew, unless corrected): 1) the app refreshes itself anytime I make a phone call, or watch a video on another app, and I lose where I was. 2) The app needs to keep track of what shows I’ve listened to. There are over 15,000 shows, and I listen to many a day. It would be nice to know what I’ve already listened to, and when. You fix those two issues and it’s a five star app all day long!!

Frustrating. I purchased the $250 service on the apple store. But I am unable to access the shows on any of my devices. Nugs tells me I need to talk to Apple and Apple says nugs has to deal with it. Terrible. Edit: issue solved. Nugs help were able to resolve the issue. The subscription had got mapped to a different email id and nugs help figured out. Many thanks. Updated rating to 5* from 1*. I’ve since renewed directly with nugs. Working seamlessly.

Great way to follow favorite band!. I love the app—subscribed and download in HD! If you have solid home internet speed (and of course you do, right!?), use the “make available offline” feature before you head out. Checking latest shows is big part of my road trip checklist! Even cancelled Sirius as I love to listen to recent live shows while driving. Agree with other reviews that a last played or resume playlist feature would be nice, but I’d absolutely love to see Apple CarPlay functionality. Literally the only time I have to pick up my phone in the car is to restart Nugs! Thanks again to the development team and especially the artists for making their music so accessible!

Tough to Beat. If you like the bands in the app, it's an easy decision to get a subscription. The audio quality is great, there are new shows added regularly, and they have even been expanding the collection of artists. I've found several new bands that I really enjoy thanks to the app. And don't forget the expanded video offerings, which are awesome on my Apple TV. All together, Nugs is my go-to live music source.

“Most Popular” needs a rethink. Nugs is amazing and the new update is fantastic. Devs, please rethink the “most popular” section under individual bands!!! It’s so frustrating right now because it must be “most popular this week” so it basically it just mimics “recently added.” It’d be 100% more useful if it were “most popular this year” or “most popular all time”. When I want to explore a new band, I want to go to their page and check out what are considered “their best shows” from their history even if it’s 10 years of shows - I don’t want to see the same 15 shows from their latest tour that I just saw in recently added.

Needs work. A few things I’m not impressed with, is first you can’t make an offline playlist with music that you already purchased. The second things is that on their actual website the music that you purchased has a time limit if you decide to download to a real computer. Other then those things the site and app is pretty good as long as your near WiFi or don’t care about your data.

Up Your Game Braj. Seriously awesome app if you don’t open anything else while you’re using it. If you open any other app then go back to nugs you’ll lose your spot in the show you’re listening to or if you close it on accident you can’t just reopen it and get back to exactly where you left off, as EVERY other app allows you to. I know it’s a first world problem but Jesus Christ. I pay $26 a month. I want more.

Unreal poor service. Every time I sign in and come back the bugs app makes me sign on again and over and over , also I ordered a stream concert and then I lost my Visa card and the nugs people canceled my whole account and then the whole nugs app erased my stash of this concert I paid good money for , I immediately resigned back with my new Visa card and never got my expensive concert put back much less had any real human response to my many emails and I still pay every month but for what ? One day I hope you can use real people with a real customer service phone number so we customers can get proper service

All I Need. This app is a must for anyone who loves live/jam band/improvisational music. Sure, there’s other apps that you can use to get shows from but do you really want to listen to some guy talking about his work in the background? Or the ‘woo’ person wooing throughout the whole set? Nugs gives us solid soundboards that take us to the show without the extraneous b.s. Well done Nugs!

Great app for live music. Very immersive. I have the Sony wh-1000xm3. I just set 360 reality audio. I’m kind of a live music and sound junkie. And honestly I can’t believe the sound. It feels like I am on stage with the band. Except, I can set the volume where I need it to be. 😜 I recommend Pearl Jam sept. 4th, 2018 in Boston. “Even Flow” to sample. This team has done it right! The user interface is super easy to navigate through. Setting up a playlist is so seamless. The only negatives are monthly cost for premium sound. But I mean, value and quality don’t come free right? The Second thing is easy to fix in the next update. When I get a call on my phone it starts the track over. Other than that. Wow what a great service!!!

Amazing catalog of shows!. Already a great catalog of audio shows but the exclusive subscriber video concerts have been amazing to watch since the pandemic started. This app is worth every penny and keeps getting better and better. If I had any suggestions one would be to let us know when you are going to remove a show. Other than that keep up the great work, and coverage of shows.

Horrendous App. Great content! Embarrassingly bad app. Extremely slow, loses your place during shows (still), it’s a struggle to download shows for offline access and then a gamble whether they will actually be available to listen later. It is truly pathetic. Very disappointed to be cancelling my subscription over these issues as the content library is extensive and updated regularly but after researching and finding complaints about these same problems dating 3-5 years back, it’s clear that nugs either does not care or doesn’t have the resources to bring their application up to speed.

Mediocre UI on app, limited Artist support. Gave this a try because offered this 360 surround type sound. It was fine. Wasn’t easy to see which songs/ albums supported that feature. UI could be improved…. Also was sad to not find any artists I follow, if you’re a certain demographic, then you’ll love the options to choose from. As o tested my new headphones I wanted to quickly look up genres to get a feel for the feature, nope. Can’t do that either. Deleted app after a day. Don’t have time for this. Give it a try!

Content is good, app is underperforming. Just got an update that let me know that some kind of 360 immersive experience is available. That sounds great. What would be better would be to fix the bug that loses your place in your music after leaving the app for a few minutes. Another update that users would love would be making it easy to save 5 or so favorite bands and easily access them. I’ve followed instructions about signing out, deleting the app and re-downloading it to solve the problem of losing the current playing spot but that didn’t work.

Streaming Stopped Working. Successfully streamed many Nugs videos from IPhone directly to non-Apple TV projector, and at other times to a non-Apple TV, via HDMI cable and adapter Airplay docking. Now that no longer works. I must use this method due to unavailability of internet service other than through IPhone, and it doesn’t deplete my hotspot data limit. Nugs customer service tells me other customers have recently reported problems with HDMI connected viewing. They also tell me, even though I was able to stream Nugs videos this way many times before, and even though this method works flawlessly with all other video streaming services, Nugs has never supported Airplay to non-Apple TV devices. Even though I lost access to videos I paid for, I will resume subscription if and when Nugs supports video streaming via hardwired Airplay dock to non-Apple TV devices.

Can’t mirror when purchasing a stream???. App won’t even open anymore…….A couple issues…… 1.) it says 15% off for subscribers but I’ve paid for 4 streams so far and never received a discount….. 2.) why can’t you mirror your phone to a tv??? So I pay for a stream and can only watch it in my phone?? If I try to mirror to my tv it goes black…. You don’t make an app for the PlayStation so if I want to watch and listen I can only do it on my phone which is ridiculous. 3.) tonight’s dead and co stream now says it’s ten dollars more than all the others I’ve purchased????? What’s the deal with that? 4.) downloading shows for offline playback….. the app won’t load anything if I’m not online, says not connected to the internet and nothing works, kind of defeats the purpose of downloading then am I right??

Great Service, App needs considerable improvement. - Streaming is painfully slow at times even with stable internet connection - Playback controls are uncoordinated and cause occasional disruptions in play even when entire song has loaded - Playlist creation functions are painfully slow. Adding one song to a playlist displays a “1 Song Added to Playlist” notification that prohibits the user from using any controls until the notification disappears after an amount of time that makes playlist creation and curation a tedious and unenjoyable process. - INCREASE ACCOUNT OPTIONS TO ALLOW FAMILY PLANS/MULTIPLE USER PROFILES THAT CAN STREAM AND PERSONALIZE INDEPENDENTLY - Saving and downloading content is redundant since the app will not open and operate unless connected to internet

Glitchy and inconvenient. I’ve had this app for over two years now, and they’re yet to iron out any of the major glitches. The app will freeze up and self-exit very frequently, as well as being non-responsive. It also buffers and takes a significant amount of time and service to stream. For nearly $20 bucks a month, you’d think this Sands guy could pay an app developer to help him out. Save your money.

Amazing app, but there could be some fixes. The way you create playlists in this app is a bit broken, it won’t list an entire show as an album instead it will list every single song instead, after about 5 shows In a playlist it’s going to be very annoying scrolling through all of them and trying to find your show, you also cannot edit the order. Also they need a bigger collection of phish and Grateful Dead. On top of it all they need more artists, not the biggest range of selection

Great Content, Poor Function. Love the content of the nugs app. They are unmatched in providing the quantity and variety of live music and it is updated regularly. However, the app constantly crashes, losing your place in the show or song you were listening to. Everyone that uses the app knows what I’m talking about. Every time you lock your phone and use another app, nugs crashed, forcing you to reboot and go find your place again. With the amount of content on the app, this is an incredible inconvenience and seems to be getting worse with every IOS update. Before you spend the money on the monthly subscription service, please consider this glitch and it’s impact to your listening experience.

Latest version of the app stops music. The latest version of this app does not support listening by any means other than having the nugs app in the foreground with the screen of your phone on. As soon as your screen turns off, pause. As soon as you try to use another app while listening to a song, pause. I tried contacting Support, but nugs does not seem to offer customer support. Pretty disappointing.

Great Content. App is Just Fine. I love the music selection. Some of my favorite bands have several new shows per month on Nugs. My only complaint is the app itself. It’s not horrible, but to not have an iPad app or support Apple CarPlay this late in the game is a little strange. To listen in my car I have to completely disconnect from CarPlay and switch over to a different input. As a result, Nugs gets no play in my car.

Live music when it was taken away.... Thanks Nugs... two of my favourite bands are Pearl Jam and Wilco and being able to hear live shows is amazing. keeps the spirit of live music alive. Btw - the 1995 soldier field show by PJ showcases how damn good Jack Irons is a drummer - immortality is peerless with him....

Pls give back my money. They charged me for a subscription plan i never selected. The plan isn’t even in my apple subscriptions and there is no where on the app that shows my payment method and plan iykwym. Plus it wasn’t even the cheapest plan 😭 I want my money back

Terrible App. I’ve tried on several occasions to sign up to this app. It just doesn’t work. It won’t let me sign up & gives an error code every si gle time. What a dud of a company and what a terrible waste of time and effort this all is? Feel free to fix this for me if you I can be bothered?🤷‍♂️ One star only as it wouldn’t let me rate with zero stars.

No music and no support. I have tried for weeks to listen to my Nugs subscription after paying for a full year (big mistake). I have created 2 tickets to try to resolved this with no response from Nugs. UPDATE: Nugs responses were stuck in my junk mail. Once we were able to connect I was able to listen as promised to most of the Nugs library (I’m in Canada), and all the artists I was interested in.

Issues with downloads. I got the downloads. But unless the app is open all the time (eating battery) it just shuts off mid song. Constantly wants me to join streaming… I just want to download a few shows and listen to them:)

Missed first ten minutes of my concert.... Dicking around with this stupid app made me miss the beginning of a concert I PAID MONEY FOR. Should recommend the app instead of letting ppl try casting in a browser since that DOESN’T work.

Great site—-but truly terrible download software. Title says it all.

Frustrating. Look, am a big supporter of the scene. I miss concerts. But this service and app is a joke. Most good shows you have to pay extra. Many shows don’t stream to Canada where i live. Tonight three’s a live show from Jimmy Buffet i wanted to watch. But the task seems too difficult for the App. I will not renew.

Garcia & Merl. Most of my buds have never heard this show. Tuff getting to find it.

App Works - UX/UI Could use some tweaks. App works great, the audio streams and sounds great w/out any buffer issues. I would like to be able to get to my favorite artists a little quicker in the app. Also would be great to have a iPad optimized experience layout. Minor critiques, i have so many shows to listen to and playlists to setup 🎧

Great music, Fix buffering. I love what is being by this service, the music is great, and it’s a good deal. Too often, when I’m streaming, it buffers and doesn’t stop buffering, even when I have a super solid internet connection. It’s a real drag. I want to say “You had one job, Nugs… stream the music,” and it often fails.

Apple car play. I love the app. I like the music offering the most. When using with Apple car play, You cannot use the next track, last track buttons. It only plays one song at a time and stops. It will not go to the next track. Also I’d like to be able to add a whole albumn to a playlist but for some reason that is greyed out. Do I need to upgrade?

Queue. The only thing I would say they need to add is a queue, I hate that I can’t add songs to the queue if I don’t want to listen to a live album all the way through in the moment. Other than that it’s great, more artists need to get on here.

Love the music. App could use some improvement. One feature I'd love to see is the ability to pick up where I left off. Sometimes I listen to a few songs of a show, but I need to go back to work or do something else. When I go back to the app it brings me back to to the home page and I have to find my show and where I left off. Super frustrating. Also, super buggy when no internet service.

Love the app. Really great audio quality, and since there is no live music it’s great to be able to listen to shows I have not heard before. Only complaint is when I answer calls the music keeps on playing. My wife hates jamband music and complains when she can hear it over our call. I don’t mind it because it kinda drowns out the nagging but she yells about it when I get home.

Love the app. Some suggestions I have would to take a SoundCloud approach to commenting on certain time stamps during the song. That way we could comment Awesome Jam or something within the song instead of just the review section. Would love to see more community interaction.

Constant Login Issues. Great app other than the playback issues. App often only lets you listen when in the app and stops when you exit. Only solution I’ve found is to delete and re-download the app, which deletes all your downloads.

Network. My song seem to take a long time to load always even if I just renewed my service not sure why or what the problem is but some time I wonder why I pay and then can’t listen to music. Sometime I have internet and I enter the app and the all of a sudden I don’t have service when I leave the app it comes back

Great selection .. 1 concern. Love the app, use it all the time Con: when my phone rings the music doesn’t stop playing so I have to scramble around to turn the music off manually before answering the call. Super annoying when I’m on the phone all day for work ... def a 5 star if that gets fixed

Love to Hate. I love this app and use it regularly to follow Umphrey’s, but my least favorite thing about the app is that it will stop playing music after a phone call isn’t answered. I usually listen to the app in the shower and if the phone rings and I don’t answer it, the music doesn’t continue playing once the phone stops ringing and it’s really annoying.

Love it. I downloaded this app bc Dead & Co offered a free download of the show with each ticket purchase. I swore I’d cancel after the trial period. That was last August, I’ve used the App daily, the music keeps me sane! Worth every penny! We’re planning on streaming Playing in the Sand this weekend. Thank you for bringing the music to us when we can’t be there!

Great content but app needs work. Love the music and content nugs offers. Feels like the app needs a major refresh from a user experience perspective. Maybe some Spotify’ish recommendations? Browsing could be improved as well. Maybe a way to bookmark favorite artists, shows, stuff like that. Keep providing the quality content but would love to see some minor UX updates.

A live music lover’s best friend. The app is great for those who love love shows and can’t imagine missing recordings of their favorite artists. The app could definitely use some new features like a basic “queue” for songs. Beyond that, the biggest issue is just a general slowness for loading search results at times :)

Great App and great music,. I’ve had the Nugs app for some time but only recently subscribed. Totally worth it. If you like “jam bands”, there is no better app than this! But please create an iPad version. It works fine on iPad but would be nice to have a better looking full screen version when listening at home through Bluetooth speaker.

Nugs. Couple small improvements would make video experience a bit better. Adding live chat to streams would be awesome. A 10/15 second rewind/ff button would be great as well. Overall love the quality and enjoying the app! Also a selection to click a song on setlist and then brings you to the time of the song in video.

To many bugs. I can’t tell you how many times I have open the app and had it tell me that I’m off-line. This happens when I’m at home or at work and both times I have incredibly fast Internet service. Today I tried to log out and it won’t let me log back in. I deleted the app and reinstall it, and it still won’t let me log back in. I canceled my subscription and will move on to something more reliable.

Avett Brothers show streaming issues. After many attempts to work with customer service and make sure everything was correct on user end, I still could never stream the Avett Brothers show in entirety. After reporting issues several times the company still did not offer a discount or a refund of the $25 they charge for the show, they simply stated they showed no issues on their end and implied it is what it is. I discontinued my subscription. When will companies learn how to properly manage customer service protocols?

Mostly love. Love the app. Love the content. Only thing I ask for is a little better control over scrubbing while watching live streams. Hard to adjust my devices/minutes. Would be nice to be able to hold down and scroll to move forward/back n time to be more precise (eg if trying to get to the start of a set for a stream)

Needs Dark Mode. Love the app and its content, but the app desperately needs a full dark mode. The white menu screens are very jarring to the eyes at night. Full dark mode is pretty much the expected standard these days and I’m really surprised this isn’t at least an option. If that’s implemented, the app would be perfect.

Ok I guess…. I was introduced to this because a digital copy of the show was included with Dead & Co tickets. Thing is, that ‘copy’ appears to only be accessible over the iOS app - the website (& desktop) is basically useless, and the tvOS app only wants to show livestreams, not anything from My Library. It’s not clear why they would be in business with such a half-implemented product. Happy to be corrected…

Great App. This app rules I use it mostly for the disco biscuits and am that they post soundboards so quickly for all of their shows. You can make your own playlists and save shows offline to save data which I use a lot to listen to shows while I run.

Great music, awful app. Wow...this app has one job, and it does it horribly. I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max that’s fully updated, just to make everyone aware these issues shouldn’t be device-related. This app stops after each and every song without progressing to the next song as it should. Sometimes, songs will have silent 1-2 second gaps in them or will just stop playing in the middle of a song. Not only that, but to select an AirPlay or Bluetooth speaker, I have to press the icon, select the speaker I want, then press “Cancel”. I’m not really canceling the speaker selection, developers. Upon selecting my speaker, the screen should just dismiss and get me back to the main player. Anyway, the app doesn’t play songs consistently....which is all it would need to do to get 5 stars. The content Nugs offers is excellent, but find another way to listen to it.

Don’t subscribe if you ever want to cancel/delete your account!. I signed up and twelve days before the trial period is set to expire I realize the service is not a good fit in terms of cost and I only used it once. I can’t justify paying for something I’m not using. I tried to delete my account and found that it is impossible to do it myself. I’m now waiting on a response to my trouble ticket from they’re customer service department. Really hoping the fans of some awesome and ethical musicians aren’t becoming victims of fraud and theft.

Great app, but…. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of 5 stars is the lack of Picture in Picture function when watching a live stream. I love the user interface, music library, and everything else on the app. Just wish I could have the picture along with the sound when I go to check my messages or other apps.

Bugs. App is great but has bugs. Love listening to shows I have been to. But it won’t stay connected and buffers way more than I care for when traveling. Better when sitting still and not moving.

I Come For Metallica and I Leave Because …. I come to Nugs for Metallica every time they get back on the road. I leave Nugs because there isn’t any other considerable amount of hard rock & metal music being added. Please dive DEEP into the hard rock / metal scene and you will have my lifelong subscription (and many, many more).

Worst APP ever!. This has to be one of the worst apps I’ve downloaded. If your offline, it never works, even if you pay to have listening offline. Literally every time it goes to error messages. I travel a lot, and wish the offline listening actually worked, it doesn’t!

5+ Stars. Listening on this app through my Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones is BETTER than being at the concert. Attended and then listened to concert on this app. Only have had the app a couple of days and haven't really had time to explore/listen much, but what I have has been AWESOME 👏

Great content. This app has all the music content i could ever want. However, I feel they could make the player a little easier. A recently played section so you can pick up where you left off, the songs do not streamline one into the other if it’s a Segway of 2 songs you have to wait for the second to load.

Need a big name act.. We’re almost 1/2 way into the year and need a bigger name - Perhaps Someone signed to one of the big record labels. Jackson Browne is about to begin touring and checks all the boxes for someone who you might have in your roster. Zac Brown Band checks the boxes too. Also it’s summer tour season.

No support for iPadOS? Really?. The app, on mobile, is fine. It’s really a shame that a good service like nugs doesn’t have a better and more stable app on iPhone. However, it’s simply unacceptable that they don’t even have an app with support for iPadOS. Especially given the price increases in recent years. If I want to watch a livestream, then I can’t watch it on my smart tv (no nugs app at all on android/google tv) and I can’t watch it on my iPad without the quality being terrible. What a mess.

Great idea but app needs work. I stream to my Bluesound Node and the stream never starts and if/when it does, it buffers like crazy. From PAUSE to PLAY and doesn’t sometimes just never starts. It’s not my connection because every other service I subscribe to stream flawlessly. I bought the subscription and I really want to use it to its fullest capacity. Right now it’s just a chance try then close. At this rate I won’t be renewing.

Minor Annoying Issues. I like this app but sometimes it takes a while for the music to load. I’ve checked if it has to do with my cell service and there are times it doesn’t. It would also be cool if it was compatible with ApplePlay for driving and not having to look down to change the show or artist.

Fresh nugs for you. If you have not done a show on the couch/ dancing around the living room, it costs less than one ticket to have the soundboard/video feed in your home. Add to this you can get the soundboard recordings of the shows you have been to, or wish you had been at.

Need to fix some bugs/glitches. Love this app w my heart and soul but every time I edit my playlist and delete things they never go away and there is always some consistent glitch going on.. not the worst issue but would like to see it fixed bc I love this app and just want to customize some playlists

Great app! Love the music choices except Phish. Phish should be added with up to date shows rather than separate app. Also add more shows tp bands like Rolling Stones and so on. Finally on the critical side the featured and favorite shouldn’t be an either/or option for front page. Otherwise I love the app. Use it all the time. Streams are great. Rarely have any technical problems.

Constant song reset. Every time I close then reopen the app or, even worse, I take a call in the middle of a jam the song resets to the beginning. This seems to have gotten worse since the last update. I paid for the full year in advance and am now regretting that decision. This needs to be fixed or I’ll be demanding my money back very soon. Totally ruins the experience. Also, the user interface is pretty bad too. Why is the time tracker a circle instead of a straight line?

Love it!!. Happy to finally have Nugs! Down in the valley from the tops of the trees through our walls and our ancient router. At the edge of cyberspace, where we have always lived, where the internet ends. It just grew a tiny bit bigger! Dead and Company sounds Grate!!♥️🌟🌹🌟♥️ thank you !!!

Troublesome. I can not unsubscribe. I went to settings and the only options were monthly, yearly, and cancel. Cancel does not cancel subscription it only closes settings. I have now paid for another month that i had not planned on. No help or contact us section. Please fix or add a help section.

Great in theory. Nugs should be the greatest app ever for any music lover but, unfortunately it only works about 50% of the time and that’s being generous. Full of glitches and lags making it extremely frustrating to use most of the time. Maybe they should consider hiring a new team because it’s been like this for years. Pretty disappointing considering how much money I throw at them to have it.

Indispensable. Not addressing the functionality which is more than adequate and consistently improving. If you’re a fan of the jam band it should be on all the time. One of the best things in my life. More music than any one person could listen to in a lifetime and constantly adding new shows. Mind blowing.

Unbelievable. Thanks nugs for making music availability so simple. I saw dead and company at Citi Field, New York City on July 15, 2022 and the show is on their website the next day. So nice to listen to everything again while driving 8 hours back to Ohio.

Future show download issue. Since we can no longer scan in ticket bar codes how can do we get our shows added to our shows with using Mobley entry tickets. Love the app but miss having my shows scanned into my library

Needs better offline support. The app needs to work properly when there is no data connection. I pay for a full year subscription and download shows to listen while I’m traveling, in and out of dead zones. But as soon as the app can’t “phone home” it goes offline and all playback stops.

Great content frustrating app. Love the content. A few issues with the app. Primarily, when I go back to the app it doesn't pick up where I left off. That's really frustrating when listening to a show while driving. Also, my lossless streaming often lags. I don't have this issue with other high quality streaming apps. I'll still in my trial period and would love to see this fixed, especially where the app would pick up where I left off after closing it.

No support for app. I really love this app but right now it won’t let me access my library (over 60 downloads). It says error please try again. I can’t find anywhere on their website to contact them so hoping they see this. They were quick to respond to the problem.

Just cancelled my subscription. The most basic function of this app doesn’t even work. The app decides to single out certain shows, making it so there is a “communication breakdown” and no amount of signing in and out, restarting your device, or reinstalling the app entirely will fix it. Never mind that other shows will load no problem. What a joke and a scam. You’re better off buying shows elsewhere.

App never works, play button has been stuck for 3 months. This app is the aggregating to use because there are always glitches and no one responds from customer service. My play button has been stuck for three months because of an app glitch and I have not been compensated for any of the months lost nor had anyone reached out to me regarding this issue. I recommend using bandcamp instead to avoid the frustrations I am experiencing.

Great idea, poorly executed. The amount of live music on his app is amazing. Seriously my go to for music. New shows daily uploaded from the artist. Only issue is the crashing of the app EVERY TIME. I pay for the HIFI (25$) a month and if you don’t have the greatest connection on earth you can’t enjoy the music. 5 min into a great live show and CUT, it’s gone and you’re rebooting the app. Really wanna give 5 stars but this app needs work. It’s so close guys.
