Seated-Reservations & Rewards Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Refused to give rewards (twice) and horrible customer service. I made a walk in reservation (didn’t realize that i made a walk in for 2) and we had more people show up. Had dinner. Uploaded the receipt and they refused to give rewards even for the 2 that we originally had a walk in reservation for. 2 days later went to a different restaurant for brunch, uploaded the receipt and they said that it wasn’t clear enough. I uploaded 2 more and yet they still haven’t reversed their decision. No phone number to call. They fail to respond to their online “chat help” and only replied to email once pretty much saying that the decision already has been made and nothing can be done. So not happy here with this entire setup. No customer service number is a big deal. Can never speak to an actual person. Really bad!!!

Scam. I have accumulated almost $600 in rewards and they took it away because my account was inactive for 3 months. I never knew of this policy change. I was never notified and when I reach out to customer service, they said they emailed it once and extended the deadline for me. I never received the email from them nor a text message, which I usually do for promotions. In the past they had lots of restaurant listed on the app but not so much anymore. It was easy to get points for walk-in reservation in the past, but now there are blackout time where you can not make a walk in reservation during busy hours. You are basically selling your information when you submit your receipts. The receipts shows what you order, time and date of when you dine/ take out, restaurants address, and payment method/credit card information. If you don’t have the receipts you need to provide your credit card statement to verify. The customer service team keeps saying they are sorry to hear about it and that they value my feedback but nothing is being done. I just want my rewards money back.

Don’t use- costs more than you earn. Imagine downloading this app to enjoy the rewards it promotes so heavily, and going to dinner and getting a bill that includes a surprise $20 reservation fee on top of everything you ordered. True story: Seated failed to disclose the restaurant booking fee when I made a reservation through their app, and when I told them about it they just said “sorry” and refused to cover the fee. Don’t use the app because it could cost you more than you earn. Update: After a lot of frustrating back and forth which ruined my Saturday night, Seated refunded me the $20 in credit. Adding a star for that but I still wish they had done better and not made it so difficult.

Interesting concept $$$?. So far this app has been rewarding and useful- no one can figure out who’s actually paying you all this free $$ and why - so if you could answer that it could be helpful- we all know there’s “no free lunch “ especially in this information gathering world we live in ! Whats the reason behind paying users - the restaurants say they aren’t paying the % of the checks ! Not to go on and on - what kind of big brother setup is this if you would be so kind to explain! Keep revising your app - it’s not to good with gps and letting you know about all the restaurants in a given area - you have to search by individual names which seems odd ! Other than the above I’m enjoying SEAT ! Thanks for the gum ball Mickey !

Worst Customer Service Ever. I used this app for quite a bit and referred several friends to this app. I made a reservation from this app for a birthday dinner for 7pm and we stayed until close (11pm) and they refused to honor my receipt because it wasn’t “within my reservation time”. I picked this restaurant specifically from the app to enjoy a nice dinner and get cash back from my reservation and because we decided to stay until close they didn’t want to honor my receipt because apparently you have a 3 hour limit that most folks don’t know about till you get a rejected receipt. It was $200 receipt btw. By far worst experience ever, and even worse customer service. At the very least Seated, inform your customers of your policies in the multiple texts you send as reminders prior to the reservation.

Ruined by latest update. This app used to be great. It was one of my favorite apps ever and I recommended it to everyone I knew. But with the latest update, you don’t get any rewards unless you enter your bank account login information. Not just your card number, but your actual user name and password for your bank account. I don’t see how this is necessary and it makes the whole thing super sketchy whereas it used to be flawless. If you don’t mind sharing your most personal financial information and being required to spend obscene amounts of money ALL BY YOURSELF, not just in your party, just to get the rewards, then maybe you will still like this app, but I don’t think I’ll be using anymore and I regret recommending it to people. Go back to the old model please, you ruined a great thing.

They scam you out of your data.. I have use this app for the last five years, and they refused to even respond to any of my messages about them, taking away all of my accumulated Seated dollars $. I was saving all of my dollars for a Seated experience and they drained my account of every dollar that I earned up thru that time. When they removed the money, I did not have access to my account and they do not answer any customer service emails. Also, most of the emails that you can find them just end up bouncing back. I have been trying for a while now. They also do not credit you for all of your referrals. The changes were not notified by text and just had to find out the hard way when trying to redeem. Make this right and return the money that was stolen from us.

Terrible Customer Service. Never before have I had to write a review for an app with such terrible service. The app itself is great when it works, however if there is even a slight issue with your receipt, prepare yourself for multiple message threads with customer service. The customer service decides when to respond to your inquiry and when to reply back to your last message and it does this all without sending ANY notifications. You have to literally keep the conversation thread pulled up the entire time or else the service rep will decide it’s been too long since your last message and close out the current conversation and ask you to create a new one. It is extremely frustrating especially if I’m listed out my problem multiple times with multiple images only to have to repeat myself because customer service took their sweet time to respond. If you have 20-30mins to keep your phone available and respond to a rep within 2 minutes then this is the app for you.

Not Given Credit, Poor Customer Service. Wanted to like this app but guess I’m gonna have to stick to OpenTable. I made a reservation for 6:45pm through the app, and then later in the day they send me a text saying they moved the reservation back to 7:30 due to the restaurant being “a bit busy” during that period. Ok cool, fine, not a big deal. I got off work early and decided to head over around 6pm to see if I can get a table early. Show up and restaurant has a bunch of tables open so they seat my partner and I right away. We finished our meal by 8pm and I upload my receipt, wait a bit, and lo and behold get a message saying they weren’t giving credit due to me not showing up at the time of my reservation....message customer service and they were no help at all. Might try again later but what a poor start.

Horrible Customer Service Exp. I like the app it helps me even discover restaurants since I’m new to the area. There’s been a software bug on my phone, I’ve taken it into Apple several times, finally discovered there’s a software issue. I haven’t had the time with work, conferences to go back for a full wipe and reset. I had zero apps on my phone and couldn’t even take a picture, finally received my phone on Monday, yes it’s been a minute, and life has been happening, I downloaded the Seated app today and had to resign up, I lost all my points due to inactivity, I asked as a courtesy can you do something, It wasn’t my fault, nope, nope, bye to your points and too bad. It was just rude and I replied back rudely, someone telling me good luck. And I had them delete my account, sad…Open table was willing to work with me and got it.

Awesome app!!!. This app is terrific! My husband and I love to try new restaurants for date nights, and this app is great because we get money back when we eat out at places we would go to regardless. It’s also really simple! When you’re in the city the map makes it so easy to find restaurants around you, read reviews, and even make reservations! As soon as you upload your receipt, rewards come to you quickly, within minutes. The store has so many great options for gift cards. My only wish is that the app gave the option of a check or generic gift card to be used anywhere. Otherwise awesome app!!!!!!

Works well most of the time. I’ve been using Seated since February, and I’ve gotten almost $800 in rewards. The app can be very glitchy at times, and isn’t the most user-friendly - but you’re getting free money for just going to restaurants. I’m in NYC and have noticed a lot of really GOOD spots have been added, so you’re not stuck going to bad places to earn your rewards. Plus, you get the rewards rather quickly (normally within an hour of uploading a picture of my receipt). Two complaints are 1) that they text/notify you incessantly to remind you to upload your receipt, and it’s really annoying 2) the app is super glitchy and sometimes restaurants don’t show up even though you know they are available. All in all, how much can you really complain when you’re getting a significant amount of money back on dining out purchases?

Great until they delete your account without warning. Seated was a great app to earn cashback dining out/ordering in in NYC…. Until they randomly delete your account and keep your $ saved. Suspiciously my account was randomly deactivated after I referred my 5th friend … and thus had earned 5% for life…. I reached out to Seated Customer Support numerous times. After more than a week, I finally received this cryptic response, and then no follow up! See below, be warned, cash out often. “ Apologies for our delay, it appears your messages incorrectly ended up in our spam folder! Our Technical team is currently working to reassess our filtering methods. Thank you for reaching out. We have reviewed your Account thoroughly, and have made the business decision to remove your Account from the Seated Community, resulting in the forfeiture of any remaining Seated funds in the Account. Unfortunately, we will be unable to go into further detail due to security purposes. Please know that this decision wasn’t taken lightly, and the decision is final. All the best, Isabel Seated Account Team”

Recent update is really buggy. 1.open an available option that shows avail time slots. I book and whatever time I choose it pops “thus business is not available at this moment”. I tried another restaurant, same thing. (This is different from making reservation and then get message telling you reservation isn’t successfully. It was straight up not available on the UI.) then I have to ask, why do you even put that up? Can I suspect most of your inventory are actually not avail and fake? Chat customer service of course was offering bot like answer, i.e not really answer the question. 2. Chat service was good prior to this update. The new chat window doesn’t let you see what you type. You click the “done” on right top so the “send”option can appear - who designed that? Chat window also freezes the app and makes the exit of back option disappear. Strangely poor design.

AMAZING!. I’ve been super pleased using Seated thus far – I really love it. Grabbing dinner with friends or deciding where to eat used to be such a hassle. I’ve been a long time user now, and I can guarantee that you will discover restaurants that will become your new favorites. Not only that, getting rewards for every time you go out only makes it harder to not book continuously. It’s honestly addicting. I’ve introduced the app to many friends and family members and they’ve become frequent users as well. I’m so happy that the app continuously improves with every update; less bugs, more promo codes, and a bunch of new restaurants. The process is simple and rarely disappoints. Simply choose a restaurant, book your reservation, snap a pic of the receipt and submit, and BOOM you get your reward. Honestly, go check it out you wont regret it.

Seated scams and deceives customers. I loved this app for a long time but I am astounded by a recent incident with them that has drove me to never want to use the app again. As a lawyer, I tend to read all terms and conditions for apps and websites before becoming a user of said app or site. That being said, I recently had a receipt rejected for reasons that are not disclosed on Seated’s terms and conditions. I made sure that my reservation was eligible according to the terms and conditions before making it, I wouldn’t have made the reservation otherwise. When I contacted customer service about my due reward, they made up a reason as to why they couldn’t give me my full reward. A reason that was not listed anywhere in the terms’ eligibility requirements. When I asked the customer service rep to point me in the direction of where this requirement is listed in the terms, they were unable to do so. Ultimately, Seated scammed me out of awarding me the full amount I was rightfully due for my receipt. I can’t morally do business with companies who try to deceive and manipulate their customers!

Refused to give the reward and no response. I went to brunch with a group of friends. I decided to use the app for the first time as a "walk-in". I booked the walk-in, but didn't realize I needed to change the number of people in my party until after I booked it. Apparently it's impossible to edit your booking after you make the booking, but in theory it shouldn't be in issue for a walk-in since we didn't need a reservation. We ate our meal and I paid, sent them the receipt and the next day they rejected my reward saying I didn't book the correct amount of people that was actually in my group. I tried to reach out to themto explain the very minor error I made and the flaw in their app, and there was no response to the chat feature in the app. I emailed them and they responed 4 hours later, restating why is was rejected without actually suggesting how to resolve the issue. After a few back and forth a, they just said it's impossible. The app is a scam, customer service is unresponsive and if they do respond they're absolutely not helpful. I still haven't received a response in the chat app...

Min spend ruined app. I used to love this app but now I will never use it again. While i appreciate the rationale for having a minimum spend, the minimum spend amounts recently imposed are not reasonable at all. Roughly $40-$60 minimum spend for a party of 2 - that is outrageous to expect particularly at lower priced restaurants. I could never spend that much for 2 in one meal. Never using this app again unless they revert back to no minimum spend. Edit:delusional app developer thinks they can console me by suggesting that $20-30 per entree is a reasonable price to pay at a hole in the wall sushi restaurant. Unreasonable. They created a business model that wasn’t sustainable and now they’re trying to make consumers pay for it. Also they are trying to incentivize by offering a “bigger reward” but the high minimum spend negates the benefit. Don’t be fooled.

Refused to honor receipt. Seated refused to honor my receipt. It included all the information required, but they said that for the restaurant I went to they also require a copy of my bank statement showing the payment. Not kidding. I sent them a screenshot of the charge from my bank statement and they said that they needed to see the entire page of the bank statement not just the charge. This is when I had enough and told them I was not jumping through anymore hoops. It was a receipt for over $200 that it appears they did not want to honor and just wanted to keep requiring more and more until I just gave up. This was a complete customer service failure and makes the whole thing feel like a scam. They also would not escalate the issue to a supervisor when I requested it. Disappointed and I do not trust they will live up to their agreement in the future. And awful customer service.

Where did the customer service go. I love seared, i used to recommend them to my friends and coworkers all the time. For the most, part I still like them, but I what I can’t stand is a business that you cannot get in contact with. I remember in the beginning I was able to get in touch with someone within 24-48 hours through text without a problem. Now it’s been 2 weeks, and I’ve gotten a generic text saying someone with her back to me ASAP, and I’ve gotten nothing no response at all through the app. A similar situation has also happened to an acquaintance of mine, who just never bothered after not getting a reply. I’m really disappointed in this lack of communication.

Was Great, Now With Processing Fess & Restrictions. In the past Seated was a great app, and would encourage others to use to find new restaurants and book appointments. As a user since the inception of the app, I have seen it evolve with more & more restrictions. At first you could use it whenever, then it became only X amount of days after, then to only certain days, until as of recent with no notification where I wanted to go in to claim my reward to only find that each card you select there was a $2 “processing fees” to redeem the actual funds . (So if you went to get 2 gift cards it was $4 off your rewards). I appreciate that restaurants struggle and this app is to help incentivize customers to explore and try new restaurants, however with the recent update I would rather just go to a restaurant itself then use the app. If they continue with the processing fees I am sure others will follow, as I find it even more interesting that not all have been brought onto the processing fees yet. So until they fix the processing fees, recommend another app.

Most useful app ever.. My now husband and I started using this app last year when I got an ad for it on IG. I don’t ever fall for those but this seemed relevant as we were always eating out as we were wedding planning. I’ve used the app a handful of times and have easily earned $100+ to use on literally anything else. Usually and even tonight we used Seated to determine where our first date as a married couple would be because why not get money back to have drinks and dine! We were even able to use the rewards we earned on our Uber ride to and from the restaurant we tried out tonight (on Seated). LOVE this app!

Super App!. As a young woman navigating NY city prices, I have gravitated towards this app. I’m going to eat, so might as well score a few dollars back and eat at restaurants that have partnered with Seated. I have found there are plenty of choices, the money appears in my wallet within hours of submitting my receipt, and if I run into any issues Customer Service has always been there to help resolve it. Best part about all of it, I can redeem my money with companies I use on a daily basis. Anything from Starbucks, Uber, Airbnb, Target, you name a brand that you encounter daily, Seated has it as a gift card redemption option.

Stopped giving promo after referring many people. Referred all my friends and reached partner status. I’ve noticed that I no longer receive promos (for months) while all my friends get promos. Contacted seated previously before and was informed the promos are targeted to people who don’t use the app often to encourage more usability but will give me the next promo or see if there’s anything wrong. There has been nothing since. Also tested not using app for a few months but no promos still. I guess this is what happens when you’re a loyal user, refer all your friends and reach partner status. CS will brush you off and say there’s no issue. Contacted CS again who stated there’s no issue with account and gave a different reason (promos are sent out in cohorts) but since it’s been awhile, I can have a $5 promo like throwing me a bone.

Be aware! Not as amazing as you thought!. They are very fluctuated with their rate. 1st of when you started ( months ago) when you prefers a friend you get $10 if a friend signed up and dine out. Later they dropped back to $5. Again, months ago, their reward is $15 and there is no minimum spend. Then they raised the reward up to $25 (for 2 parties) and minimum spend is $40. Recently, it was changed to $15 reward for 2 and minimum spend is $50. I feel like it try to get ppl spend more than what they need. Maybe without minimum spend or $40 seem reasonable to me ( and the reward is at $15, which is a good rate) Plus, to be fair, the restaurants choices aren't well known, which is understand caused the app wants to expand their business. But consider we are consumer giving them a try and our $, I think setting a high minimum spend is a deal breaker.

Super disappointed!. I used Seated for a while and it was great, however, I recently had a horrible experience, where Natalie stopped responding to my inquiries about a reward that Seated would not give me. I submitted a receipt to Sorrelina, and received confirmation from Seated that it was booked. I submitted my receipt and they said that I didn’t book through them, so they wouldn’t honor the reward. What??? I received confirmation. Then Natalie would not respond to my inquiries, and was a HORRIBLE support. I showed Seated EVIDENCE that I booked through them, and they refused to answer me. Then I inquired again through their support, and Isabel was equally as unhelpful, not getting back to me and adequately resolving my issue. I can no longer support the fraud and dishonesty. Unbelievable! Terrible customer service, especially by Natalie. She should be terminated for just blatantly not responding and ultimately ghosting a consumer.

Terrible. I wanted to like this app, however I don’t. Bought breakfast from the same place on the dates of 18th and 25th. Receipts have different date and different amount. After uploading both, they are approving only one, by saying second one is duplicate. After contacting CS, I attached an email confirmation of my order with every single detail on it. Guess what? They asked me to submit my credit card statement. This is ridiculous from any side. I understand that AI is processing receipts, but when I submit 2 proofs for each of my purchases, why can’t CS team just check it with their human eyes? I myself work as SE in a tech startup and our CS team never have left our customers in this position. And we as engineering department make sure this type of situations never arise again by making our software better. Maybe Seated also should do that.

Reservation canceled an hour before dining. Concept is great but the first time I used this app to make a reservation, they confirmed the reservation the night before but then canceled the reservation last minute (an hour before we were scheduled to dine) with just an email, even though they were communicating though the text message system prior to that. I didn’t see the email in time. When we arrived at the restaurant, the restaurant was completely blindsided and did not have our reservation in their system and said that Seated only notified them of our reservation a few hours before we were to dine even though we made the reservation the night before. Thankfully the restaurant accommodated us anyways otherwise our big group would be stranded in midtown NY trying to find seats during peak hours (which is impossible). Now I have no way to submit our receipt for the cash back, which is the only reason I used this app anyways. If you want to have any certainty in having your reservation be confirmed try other apps like Resy and Opentable, which I’ve never had a problem with.

Don’t love the changes. I really loved this app and recommended it to everyone, then I did the update which now has a minimum spending requirement to get the reward and they are fairly unreasonable. $40 for a hole In the wall sushi place or $60 for a burger place, it makes it pointless to have a party of 2 bc you have to spend a ton of money at some of these places to get the reward, disappointing. I also wish they would do more reasonably priced places and not just super high end, there are only a handful currently. Also they should expand into Queens, Astoria and Sunnyside have a ton of really great diverse restaurants. Overall, I’m not nearly as excited about this app as I used to be and will likely use it much less with the new high spending requirement.

buggy app, terrible cs. I would only use this for restaurant you are already planning to go to or order from. So you won’t get your hopes up about the reward when they refused to honor their mistakes or false advertised rewards. App is buggy and customer service are just simple useless. The app is overall pretty buggy and show you inaccurate rewards/order/booking info quite often and their customer service just refuses to own up to their mistakes. For example, I clicked to order because of surge reward but only end up with normal reward instead. CS insists the dynamic pricing revert back to normal reward, even tho before and after the order was both advertised with the surge rewards and I shared screenshoots about the advertised reward as proof. (I guess is dynamically chicanes to the lowest reward only at the exact time you place the ordered?) They refused to admit the inaccurate information and stood by their story. They then comp me a $5 credit (which is less than the reward differences) that is not even redeemable. And their UI for redeem reward is just super buggy and didn’t work half of the time. When it works, it’s okay. But when it doesn’t, tough luck to the user. So I wouldn’t go out of your way to use this app or had your hopes up.

Seated App. The problem with this app is that once you make the reservation for an x amount of guests and then more guests show up and the bill $$ exceeds the initial reservation, they won’t validate the receipt. I made a reservation for 2 people and then 4 of my friends showed up - we spent $733,25 (including tip) and this company did not validate my receipt. Why? Because the initial reservation was for 2 people, looks like that’s their policy. Be aware of this app. ‼️UPDATE‼️: After a long back and forth - Seated made and exception and validated my receipt. Thanks for doing right by your customers. I will continue using this app.

Something I Didn’t Know I Needed. I don’t often write app reviews, or even bother to rate. However, I feel like I kind of have to here! This app is actually awesome - coming from an individual who tends to be quite critical. I don’t know how it works, just that it does. I’ve been consistently getting 20%+ back at a variety of restaurants I already eat at - and I’m trying more great restaurants I didn’t even know about. After just a few meals, I successfully redeemed a $50 Airbnb credit that I applied to a reservation - and it just worked! Not to mention that the restaurants seated puts up have all been really good. And on a separate note - the reservations system is very solid. The restaurant always knows I’m coming and I’ve never had them not find me in the system like with some other apps! If anything, it’s just a solid reservation and restaurant finding app and that’s before it saves you often 20% - 30% on great meals! Thanks Seated - can’t wait to see how you improve your app for the future.

Last update is awesome!. I am glad that they listen to their customers. The last update is awesome as you can verify the spend by taking a picture of a receipt. No need to link a card anymore which makes it much easier to use. It’s very convenient and easy to use. They also been adding many new restaurants so there are many choices. Their customer support are very friendly. They reply quickly and are super nice. They try their best to help you and make sure you are happy :) good to see such amazing customer service. I have been a seated used for a while. Using the rewards, I no longer pay for my Uber! It allows me to try new places which is quite awesome as I got bored from the same places I used to go to. The search and filter have been very helpful in narrowing down what I want and the cuisines I like. The only reason I give it 4 stars is I wish if they can add more recommendations. I hope they add this feature soon. Keep up the good work! This app is awesome especially after the new update. Glad you listened to the feedback and quickly released the feature we all wanted! Happy eating! I hope you discover new places and enjoy using this app the same way I do. So far I made over $300 in rewards!!! I am trying to hit $1000 🙌🙌 The rewards quickly add up especially if you go to places with higher rewards. Keep them coming!!

Very easy to earn and redeem rewards. When I first signed up I thought that it didn’t seem worth it. But I started using it regularly and regret not using it when I first signed up. It’s very easy to earn rewards especially since most restaurants have the walk in function. This means you can just walk in snap a pic of the receipt and earn the rewards. Aside from earning, the redemptions are useful because you can get Uber/Amazon/target gift cards which I think is extremely easy to use. If you have the Bilt card mod of the restaurants are Bilt dining restaurants so you can earn additional Bilt points.

Mixed Bag. The service being offered is great, but the execution is lacking. Often times it requires the help of a representative to ensure I receive credits earned. They are always helpful, but this shouldn’t be necessary. The app is very buggy. In one instance, I had to delete and reinstall the app in order for my credit to appear. Right now, I have a phantom badge notification that I have no way to get rid of. And even though I have all proper notifications enabled, I don’t receive notifications when a customer service rep responds unless I deliberately open the app on my own. Otherwise I have no way of knowing. App needs serious work. But at least I think the company is trying to offer a legitimate service. So far, the reward is worth the hassle, but make no mistake, there is a hassle.

Pretty cool, but could be better. So I’ve had this app for a while now and have received two $50 gift cards for Lululemon. It’s awesome that when you spend money that you would have spent on food anyway, you get money back to spend on other things like clothes, Uber, Starbucks, etc. A few problems I’ve had, when you eat with other people, only one of you can upload the receipt, which is really annoying especially if we have a really big bill and both want points. Also sometimes there are purchase minimums and it’s hard to meet them at smaller restaurants especially if you get something like a lunch special. Many of the restaurants are only in Manhattan, with almost nothing in Brooklyn, especially south Brooklyn. A lot of the restaurants are pricy and are bars, so I as a 18 year old don’t have as many options. One glitch that I wish they could fix is when you are looking at restaurants through the map or a list, when you press to go back it brings you back to the home page, not back to the map or the list, so you have to start all over again. These are just a few suggestions, it’s a pretty cool idea otherwise. I definitely recommend it if you live in the city and eat out a lot.

Scam. Similar to Aruz9978’s review, I had a similar experience with Seated, where they denied my rewards despite the fact that I met all of their terms and conditions. I submitted a receipt with a restaurant name, date, time, party size, itemized bill, and total amount. They rejected my rewards and told me I needed to supply a credit card statement. This was the THIRD time in a row this happened and the customer service rep gave me some vague excuse about how “it’s confusing” but some restaurants require a “second form of verification.” I asked where this could be found in the terms and conditions and he was unable to point me to a reference. I am also a lawyer. Something is fishy about this app. Seems like perhaps they’re running a ponzi scheme and running out of money. I’ve decided to stop using this service because something is definitely off and I’m tired of every time I book a reservation and follow the rules, I’m given the third degree and treated like a liar.

SO good !!!. This app is amazing. You’re literally getting money back when you dine at a qualifying restaurant. I like to go out and sit at places and just eat, minding my business, and this app comes in clutch! It’ll show you nearby qualifying places & how much they’re giving back. Sometimes the app gives random bonuses like “get $10 if you dine tonight” like what? And no hassle at ALL! There’s a lot of big brands to cash out on in terms of a gift card, the other day I didn’t want to spend too much on an Uber but had a $20 gift card that I could use from seated so it took care of 90% of my trip. Get this app - you don’t know you need it yet ;)

Purchase minimums + fake reservation times. This app used to be better until it implemented the "minimum purchase" rules for each restaurant. I'm one person, and even with an app, entree and drink I sometimes don't reach $75 at a restaurant. The purchase minimums defeat the purpose of the app. Also the reservation times are never accurate. If you book a time, there's a 50% chance you'll get a text from the app like 10 minutes before reservation time saying "we're sorry, there are no reservations available at the time you selected" even though the app (a) listed the time available, and (b) approved the reservation booking. I'd give the app 1 star but the gift card reward did work once (but that was before the purchase minimums were implemented). There is also some serious false advertising after the update: The rewards on the app say ~$20 reward except not a single restaurant provides a $20 reward, or $19, $18, $17....you get the idea. The highest reward is $15. No restaurant yields $20 and certainly nothing over $20 (hence the false advertising of the ~$X). So go in knowing you will need to spend $60-80 bucks in restaurants (not nice restaurants either) in order to get a $5-$15 reward. App legal team needs to review the false advertising issue.

Need Facebook? [updated review]. Thank you so much for adding the feature to sign up by phone number!!! I downloaded the app and CANNOT wait to use it. Already checking out all the restaurants I want to try out and will be making reservations really soon!!! —-------------------------------------- My friend told me about this app and it sounds wonderful. She sent me an invite and I downloaded but I can ONLY sign up if I have a Facebook account. Believe it or not, we're not all on the Facebook wagon! Would be great if there was an option to just sign up without going through Facebook. Such a shame- was really excited to try this out.

Love the app, I use it every week. I love using Seated as my go to reservation app. Unlike other reso apps, you get rewards for EVERY single reservation you make and complete dining out. These rewards usually range from $5-40 for me. The app is easy to use and you can search restaurants by neighborhood, time, or vibe you are looking to enjoy. The more people or money you spend, the greater the reward usually and the rewards vary based on time and place. You can also use the walk in feature which I like to utilize for last minute nights out. I highly recommend!

Cash out while you can. The app UI can be difficult to navigate at times, but my biggest complaint about Seated relates to the terms and conditions of their service and their customer service. Unknown to me, if you do not use the app for a period of 90 days, Seated will cancel your rewards balance. I was unaware of this policy, and when I reached out to them to see if they could reinstate my rewards after I noticed my balance was removed, they were polite but ultimately refused to offer even a partial amount. My balance was $167, so this was obviously upsetting and frustrating. I don’t think I will continue using the app, and encourage anyone who does to immediately redeem your balance, as apparently they are unwilling to compromise to keep a valued member. I hope the loss of my continued business was worth the $167 they saved.

It's been getting worse and worse.... I've noticed there are more negative reviews recently. Based on my experience I think it makes sense. I truly love the idea of this business - pay by demand - the same idea has been implemented in hotels, airlines and even shared rides, why not dining? BUT, I have to say using this app is such a PAIN... If I'm on map searching and click into one of the restaurants, clicking "going back" leads users to the top of the list instead of map is nonsense. If I click on map again, I will be directed to restaurants close to my current location instead of previous searching area... This is probably one of the worst map user experience I've ever had. Also - their customer service is a joke and I guess no one is actually working there. I have uploaded receipt to a recent visiting restaurant but didnt get reward. I reached out customer service twice but no reply. I saw some similar experience in reviews so my guess is they are trying to cut on reward for those who have dined at least twice.

Disappointed -. I’ve used the app for over year and it’s come to an end. After going on an overseas trip to a heavily censored country, I was unable to view my emails where I was notified of my rewards expiring in 30 days. My notifications were setup so I can get app and text notifications so I was surprised when I didn’t get any other form of notification about my credits expiring. It would be great if the app would atleast tell you on the rewards page when your rewards expire, but this is becoming a predatory app. When I reached out to customer service, it was like talking to a wall. Loyalty meant nothing, not even a one time courtesy for a misunderstanding. That’s alright. There are many other apps providing the same service to support local businesses. I would avoid this app in the risk you have to contact customer service for any issues. Note: I double checked in the slew of emails they sent daily that the email they sent me for my expiring points, the subject line was, “Seated Terms of Service”. How was I supposed to know it was about points expiration anyway?

Love this app’s money back, but the software itself is horrid. Seated has simultaneously saved me significant amounts of money and helped me try new restaurants around NYC. However, the app is horribly buggy; this version should never should have left beta, let alone launch to such a wide user base. For example, when you make a custom search and switch to another app (to check a restaurant’s menu, for example), your custom search is removed and you’re sent to Seated’s main menu upon re-opening of the app. This is incredibly frustrating when searching for a restaurant and NEEDS to be fixed. This issue has persisted through many versions over the past year. Please fix this!

No business ethics. It was good while it lasted. The whole getting rewards back is a great idea and experience. Sometimes they do promotion that’s even better. But don’t save up your rewards Bc they will close up your account for no reason!!!!! I saved up to 65 rewards to use and have always been a loyal and ethical user. However, one day they just closed my account saying I uploaded a fake receipt. I’m so confused coz I did not! And they could just not accept that receipt. Rather than doing so, they accepted that receipt and 2 days later they told me it’s fake and closed my account. I asked for looking into further and asked for opening up my account again or at least give my 65 rewards back. They never responded. Apparently this happens to other people I’ve heard online too. So that really shows no business ethics. I recommend to not save up rewards coz you have idea one day they will just take all your rewards back and close up your account!

Superb Selection. This app is absolutely unreal. Everyone should download it, especially if you're in New York City. I discovered the app a few months ago and since then the options for dining out have exponentially grown. If one thing is certain, I can count that Seated only displays exceptional restaurants. I love that you can search for restaurants depending on not only the type of food, but even the setting. I've never had a bad experience. They recently expanded to a bunch of other cities, and as I travel often for work, I've been able to use the app there as well (LA, Chicago, Miami, Boston etc). Can't wait for them to be in all of the cities I go to frequently. Download it people, you're practically getting paid to eat delicious food!!!

Unfair treatment of loyal customer. I used to be a loyal seated customer and have referred it to multiple friends-everyone loves the app. However, I have since stopped recommending seated to any friends due to its terrible customer support team. Seated blacklisted my account accusing that I have created multiple account on the same device. I have definitely not created multiple accounts from the same device. I only have one seated account and one phone number, and felt like I have been treated extremely unfairly to receive the violation email and have my accounta terminated. I emailed customer support explaining that the reason why they have detected multiple log-ins on my phone was because one time my roommate’s phone went out of battery, so she used my phone to log into her account (which she has already created using her phone number on HER phone-I can even provide proof of photo of the phone side by side). Seated then blocked my account saying that I violated community rules, and treated me with radio silence even though I email the support team explaining the situation. I felt like I was treated so unfairly and has since stop recommending seated to any friends. It’s such a pity that they have such poor support team and treats their loyal user like this.

Avoid this app! They will inexplicably suspend your account and keep all your earned rewards. My friends and I signed up for this app and recommended all of our friends and associates to do the same. Then, after we all accumulated about 70 or 80 dollars each, they blacklisted ALL of our accounts and kept the money. No notice was given to anyone of us by mail or otherwise, and no refund of the rewards we had rightfully earned. The company has no phone number listed so you can’t call and discuss this with anyone. Between the 8 or 9 of us they kept about 700 dollars in rewards which we had earned by dining out and recommending other people to Join. I don’t write reviews this is the only way I feel I can get them to respond to my email asking why I was blacklisted

Customer support is AWFUL!. The concept of this app is amazing. I really wish I had better things to say about the customer support though. I downloaded the app about a month ago and have used it four times. Two out of the five times, they said something was wrong during the receipt review. The first time, the restaurant had an issue with their machine and had printed the wrong date. The restaurant corrected the date and emailed me a new receipt. In order to get that one approved, I had to go through five different people and send at least 20 emails. That’s just ridiculous. The second time, they said that my walk in was not really a walk in. I booked the walk in restaurant about 10 minutes before we got there. Then we sat and enjoyed our meal. Then, we paid. They said that my time wasn’t close enough to match. First of all the restaurant was terrible and then I wasn’t even going to get credit for the Meal. They really need to fix how they handle these things and give the customers a better experience.

Processing fees ruining the app. The recent update of processing fees are egregious. If you want to redeem a $50 gift card, you have to pay a 10% processing fee. As you can see in their responses, they copy and paste the same thing: “it’s to help find new restaurants” I understand that, however it is misleading. If you’re going to charge people, there’s no point in using Seated for rewards. It goes against the initial premise of the app. I find it frustrating because let’s say you’re a dollar off from getting a reward, it forces you to use the app. It’s clickbait, it’s deceiving. Hopefully they change it or allow you to pay the fees without taking it out of the rewards.

Now I always start with Seated!. Why use any other app to find somewhere to eat when you get $$ back from Seated?? I went out to lunch with a coworker the other day and got $31 back!! I donated some to a charity and used the rest at Sephora. I will always check Seated first from now on. Other people leaving bad reviews are just confused about the way uploading receipts works. Definitely try this app and see for yourself.

Going Downhill FAST. I’ve only been using seated a short time (6 months or so) and initially the app worked well and I had quick responses from customer service, even on weekends. I referred a number of people and was very happy. In the last month it feels like everything has changed. First I had an issue with a referral and it took them 2 weeks to even acknowledge that I had sent a question and I’m still waiting another 2 weeks later to hear anything back at all. Then this past weekend the app suddenly crashed every time I tried to confirm a reservation. I see that an update came out yesterday and hopefully that will handle it but again no response from customer service. I’m no longer using the app until I hear back about my customer service issue. I’ve referred 5 people which seems like a decent number to me but I’m being ignored. If you’re getting so popular from referrals that you need to hire more customer service agents maybe you should do that instead of angering existing supporters/users.

Used to be good, but don’t waste your time now. Was a great program when it first launched and for the first few years. But throw that all out the door now. The program has deteriorated recently. Worsening restaurant selection. Mediocre returns. Lots of sticking points to qualify for rewards. And now hard-earned rewards expire. They made that significant change without telling users in the app. Customer service has repeatedly been unhelpful with a variety of issues in recent months. They no longer care about their users. Don’t bother wasting your time with this program.

Great way to get money back & try new places. I highly encourage Seated esp in NYC! It’s been a great way for me to save money. I made so much credit from a month and used it on Ubers which is super expensive here. I’ve also gotten to try a bunch of new places! 4/5 because…. 1. I wish there were more restaurants on here! Like if we could suggest a place. 2. Not in love with booking through dining in with the app. A lot of times there’s reservations on other apps like Resy or Open Table but sometimes it’s not available on Seated. I wish all their places had a walk-in option. 3. I think the app is still a bit glitchy. The search feature could use a bit more work! 4. Wish there were more bars and coffee shops! Would also be cool if places like museums or experiences were on here :) Overall still in love with this app and always recommend to friends.

Rips off customers. I used Seated to book a reservation for 6 at a NYC restaurant. We had a $500 bill and we’re expecting 14% rewards. Upon submitting the bill, it was rejected by Seated and we were told it was policy to require a second digital receipt from the restaurant. The restaurant did not answer any of my calls, and Seated refused to reach out to them. In the middle of a conversation with one agent, it locked me out of the app and now it appears my account is deleted. We never would have chosen this restaurant if it weren’t for the promised Seated reward. Recommend that other diners avoid this app.

Good way to help restaurants and earn valuable rewards. I’ve been using Seated throughout the pandemic and find it useful for knowing which restaurants need additional business, for learning about places nearby might otherwise not known about, and for earning rewards at places I regularly frequent. Customer service is always helpful and personable, and rewards have quick turnaround. Definitely recommend Seated!

Easy to use. This is super easy to use. They have added pick up and delivery so you don’t even need two to go out. If you are going out it’s awesome. I use it when I’m dating. You just take the receipt and after the date is over, you upload the receipt. You don’t have to say or do anything so the your date doesn’t know that you are getting money back. I use the app once or twice a month and have gotten over $50 back in the past six months.

Good Deal. The service works as described. You have to be careful to make sure you’re booking the correct date and time. If you have problems customer service will just about always take care of you, but you’ll need pictures of your receipts. My only complaint is that the map view shows percentages that don’t match the actual percent offer once you click on the restaurant.

Seated is a must have app!!. I’ve been using Seated ever since it first came out and it has never disappointed me. I love the rewards and the restaurant options are phenomenal. I can’t think of a single complaint that I have for this app! I really appreciate the minimum spend option. I like the fact that you spend a certain amount in order to get a huge reward. It really pays off in the end! I get to try new restaurants, that I know will be delicious, AND get rewarded for going out. Its a no brainer. Every update gets better and and better. Keep crushing it Seated!!

Great app — free money!. Let me repeat: free money, you get free money for using the app! Awesome, useful app — and super easy to use! My friends and I love using Seated to get cash back for going to restaurants we wanted to go out to anyway. Super convenient: you can change your reservation up to 10 min beforehand. And the user support ROCKS — responsive, helpful, and overall great experience!! I told all my friends to download it and they love it!!

Great app. Let me start by saying that this is a great app. First, they are offering higher rewards now depending on party size which is amazing!! Second, thanks to this app my boyfriend takes me out to eat more because he loves getting rewarded in Uber credits. I have tried amazing places that I would have never gone to. I also travel a lot for work and never know where to eat. I use seated to search for restaurants since I know they only offer the best restaurants. Totally recommend this app to all foodies and wanna be foodies out there

Sooo good. I love trying new restaurants and Seated makes it even more fun. I’ve gotten all my friends on as well and they’re obsessed we all fight over who gets to make the reservation and upload their receipt! I was able to buy a flight cross country AND book an Airbnb all just by going to restaurants and eating out like I was already doing. Seriously if you aren’t using seated you’re just straight up missing out

Best app ever. I’ve been using this app for a little over a month, and I absolutely love it. You can’t loose on this app, also the customer representatives are fantastic & fast. To all seated developers: Thank you. :) One thing I’d like to note is that: during the Verify spend process, it seems more intuitive to push submit button on the button right instead of bottom left, for me. I’ve sometimes hit recapture image button when I intend to submit.

Great app for restaurants. I’ve used Seated many times for meals in NYC. Always easy, always works, and enough restaurants are available to make it a better deal than other apps They text about your reservation, which is great. My only complaint? They also text about offers and deals. A lot. *Way Too Much.* Wish there was a way to select which texts you want.

Love this app!. Seated is awesome and takes me to restaurants that I might not try! It also rewards you for supporting small businesses. I’m not sure if it takes a lot from the business, but I’ve loved the app so far. Wish more businesses would partner with them. The only thing I don’t like is that I find myself wanting to go to more Seated restaurants than other ones because of the rewards.

💸💸. Whenever I'm going out to dinner with friends, The first thing I do is check seated! When I first started using the app it seemed like they didn’t have many weekend options, but recently they’ve added plenty of dinner and brunch options on the weekends, so that’s why I’m upgrading my rating from 4 stars to 5! Also while I usually only book parties of 2 or 3, I noticed now they give you the option to book parties of 1, all the way up to 8. Haven’t used it, but good to know I now have that option.

High reward but reservation doesn’t always work. Love the app and how easy it is to claim the rewards with gift cards I would actually use (like Target)! However I typically make a reservation using the Seated app as well as open table because was told one time that the Seated app reservation did not count in their reservation system so just keep that in mind.

Took away my $200+ rewards without proper notification. I loved the app for a long time and referred many friends to it. However, I recently took away over $200 of the reward money I owned because I wasn’t active. They said they contacted me but they really didn’t try. I receive ads and notifications from seated ALL THE TIME but they never messaged me about my rewards expiring. Took it to their customer service but they were not understanding. I think they also changed their policy. Anyway, be aware. Not a customer friendly company. You will get the rewards but then they will take it away. Very disrespectful of customers!!

Love it!. I used Seated all the time. The app is easy to navigate and I’ve tried out so many restaurants that I maybe never would have gone to via seated. I’m always the one to make reservations when I go out with big groups because I want to get the rewards - and I do! I’ve got about $300+ in rewards over the last two years of using the app. Love it!

Account was deactivated for no reason. Make it impossible to get rewards and actually book reservations. Made a reservation, got the text confirmations, but when we got there we didn’t have one. Waited 2 hours at the bar to finally have a table, and when I went to upload the receipt they said it wasn’t in the time slot and denied it. Went to upload it a second time and I got marked for “fraudulent activity” and my account with current rewards was deactivated. Unbelievable that their error cause my account to get closed. Very unreliable. Customer service is literally people texting you from a random number and responding whenever they feel like.

Don’t believe this app RE walk-in restaurants!. This is the third time I’ve used Seated to find walk-in discounted restaurants just to find the place admittedly not accepting walk-ins at all that day. In all cases I tried making a reservation just to have it either not work, or in one case it worked finally but the location was so crowded I couldn’t go in. Today was the third time I tried using the app and was a day I meant to use Seated to find a nice treat for my partner before they leave the country for at least four months, and instead we wasted time first finding this random restaurant and then just hearing they don’t take any walk ins. I’m tired of wasting time with this worthless app and uninstalling it.

More complicated then it needs to be. Uploaded a recorded of my payment and they refused it saying that it’s a duplicate. I was only dinning with my a parent that uses a flip phone. Who else could of submitted the receipt? Beware, in some situations, this app is not the easiest to use. The first time I used it months ago, it was easy to make reservations and submit for reward But this time, they include walk in with times which look deceiving. I also choose to provide a copy of payment via credit card because receipt wasn’t provided at the restaurant and I had to contact customer service because of this. Not worth the trouble to go back and forth for a few dollars.

BIG SCAM. This app is a scam and their customer service is the worst out of any company I’ve ever seen, they were incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I have been using this app and telling so many people about how great it is. I had a decent following on my food blog (where I’ve talked about this company before) and I will be sharing this experience advising people to steer clear of seated. They accused me of violating terms once and without warning I’m banned for life and all of the rewards I earned was never paid out. They are a scam! Do not use this app. They try to tell you that you’ve violated their terms which I didn’t. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM DO NOT USE I REPEAT DO NOT USE

Solid app, support, and interface. After using some horrible apps, you could easily see how an app like Seated, which doesn’t have the budget of major companies, can be subpar. Very smooth and easy to use though. One thing that could be fixed though is the Seated user star ratings for restaurants somehow all come out to 4.0 stars. That doesn’t seem right.

No communication, poor customer service. I have been using this app for years - recently they removed all my rewards without notice. They note to have emailed me however nothing was received. Can not discuss any concerns with customer service, they just repeat the same things via chat as they can not communicate with you via phone under any circumstances. So disappointed in this service and lack of communication, exploitation of customers and unfair treatment. Won’t be using anymore. Be cautious. Spoke with Dylan, Isabella and Jose via chat - extremely poor customer service.

Not user friendly at all!. I used to like this app because it was straightforward to use, but now it seems that every receipt I submit (even with all the information that Seated requests) gets rejected. Then I have to go into my credit card account, take a screenshot, crop out all my private information, resubmit, and hope for the best. This is a lot of trouble for a few dollars of rewards! Seated needs to clearly communicate what the receipt requirements are and why they keep making me jump through hurdles for a few measly dollars. Not sure if this app is worth it anymore.

Getting cash back for things I already do. A college friend who just moved to Dallas referred me to Seated a few months ago, and I’ve kept using it since. I’m on my way to redeeming over $200 in rewards. Including the occasional extra bonuses, this is more cash back per dine out experience than what you’re also getting from your credit card. Worth it.

Not linked with Resy or Open Table. The app is misleading and not really practical for popular restaurants in a major city (NYC). The reservations you select are not guaranteed at the restaurants and Seated will actually call to make the reservations which may or may not be at the time you selected. If time is not an issue to you or you’re going to a restaurant that is not super crowded and it’s worth the discount then so be it but in my opinion the whole point is to make a reservation. I ended up in an argument with the Maitre D at a restaurant I go to frequently until he explained how the Seated app worked. Obviously not the first time he has encountered the issue.

More Work Needed. I’m glad that Seated made the following update: remove the “book now” option for restaurants that are unavailable. I use this app often and I think it needs the following updates: 1) Better track of hours for restaurants. I make a reservation on Seated and I showed up to a restaurant and it was closed. 2) Better adjustment of restaurant details. I made a reservation on Seated for Intersect by Lexus. However, this place has both a lounge and a restaurant. My Seated reservation said “indoor dining”, so I thought this was for the restaurant. However, when I get there, I realize it’s for the lounge. This impacted my experience since the lounge does not have a large selection of food. 3) Better customer service. Currently, it takes hours to get a reply from customer service. And if you don’t reply within minutes, they shut down your request. For the two issues above, I contacted customer service and they didn’t even respond.

Amazing. I have told everyone I know about this app. I love how it helps me discover new restaurants and the rewards are amazing! I’ve already earned $90+ in rewards. Its so nice to be able to earn rewards on purchases I would already be making. Plus the reservation and walk-in tool is super easy to use. The app says the rewards take 24 hours to arrive, but they usually come within an hour of uploading a receipt. Love it!

App works but bad customer service. Updated review. They finally got back to me and gave me my credit so I upped this a star. App is great but the customer service really needs improvement. So when the app is on auto pilot it works great. However I had an issue with one of my offers and when I tried to contact customer service....nothing. No response to my repeated chat requests or emails. Basically this one of those apps that’s all about getting people to download but the service if there’s an issue is non existent. I’ll use it right up until they stop giving offers.

TONS of negative reviews. The App Store has this rated 4.8 ??? My advice for you - read these app reviews to see the real deal before downloading. Consumers are generally intelligent. The app developer and apple are certainly trying to pull one over on folks with this one. Summary (but please read them for yourself) - A tease to give you 5 or 10 bucks to go eat a place you have no idea you’ll like, with requirement for you to spend a HUGE minimum $ at that place (in order to earn that little reward), and your “reservation” is not at all a real reservation at the restaurant. It’s canceled/rescheduled/changed to just “walk-in” right before you’re supposed to sit down (always like 10 min prior to your scheduled reservation time).

Great!. I saw an ad on TikTok & I usually just swipe up but this time I gave it a chance. This app is Awesome! I’m super indecisive when it comes to what I want to eat and where. So not only does this give me a chance to earn $ back, but it also allows me to see what’s good to eat around me! I’ve had it for a month so far & tried 4 restaurants (3 dine in, 1 pickup), I got my first gift card today! I chose a $50 gift card and have $9 in rewards left. Just download it! Can’t go wrong.

Worth It!. I was skeptical at first about the quality of return, or the “strings attached“. But after using this app several times, I approve. It helps me simultaneously explore restaurants throughout my city, while also earning rewards which can be redeemed in the form of gift cards back. Additionally, the number of restaurants participating is very reasonable. I would highly recommend if you live in a participating city.

Seated is a Success. Love Seated! It’s like getting paid for dining! Whether you want to dine in or get takeaway, there is a great selection of restaurants to choose from. App is easy to use and the gift card options are awesome! Using Seated pays for my Dunkin and Target addiction and there’s no going back! Plus it helps support restaurants and hospitality during these difficult times. Win win!

Seated Fan. If your anything like me, it’s difficult trying to figure out whatI want to eat and where I want to go. Seated isn’t just an app that provides a variety of restaurant options but it incentivizes you to dine at restaurants. Let’s just say I’m not a lost for dining options anymore. I go right on seated select my restaurant, enjoy myself and dine, upload my receipt and earn gift cards. I just paid for my RT ticket out of the country using Delta gift cards earned from seated.

This App is amazing. Seated has completely changed how I dine out. I used Opentable for a long time, but find this is much better. I live in NYC and eat at restaurants regularly. I can go to better restaurants for the same cost as lower rated ones. There are loads of really great restaurants on here! I’ve tried a bunch of new ones instead of staying with my regular go-tos.

Privacy scam?. So first the app wanted to know your location all the time, even when it wasn’t in use. Now it requires you log into you bank so they can track your spend. Let’s see trust a random app paying way too much to acquire users with my banking info? No way! Edit; thanks for the developer response, but that claim of only having access to the specific transactions is laughable. Once you have bank synced using the credentials require by seated then seated will have access to any and all transactions and bank info. The only thing limiting it is seats own policies, which there is no way to verify. Perhaps set up a way to verify the spend with the restaurant instead of using this very shady way to get the information.

Better than expected. Decent selection of restaurants. Naturally it’s going to be restaurants that are trying to get more business, which means a higher than average number of mediocre places. BUT enough good ones are hidden in there. Interface is good. Love that is doesn’t require showing the app to the restaurant. Just remember to book or “walk-in” when you first get there. I’ve had the app for like a week and I’ve saved like $50 so far. Definitely worth the small amount of effort

Referred EVERYONE I know. This app has introduced us to so many other restaurants that we had not tried before. The selection continues to grow and grow. I referred my closest of friends and colleagues and we’re all addicted to this app. Lunch time in the office, someone asks if they are making a seated order yet. Redemption of gift certificates are super simple and easy. A good chunk of my Christmas shopping came from the great partnerships Seated has made. Although the partnerships are with stellar companies, I hope to see more connections made. Lastly, with all my referrals, Seated drops a dollar here, dollar there in my account every time my friends / colleagues use the app. I mean, who doesn’t want to go shopping with their lunch money, and everyone else’s. Lol. I vote 5 stars! Can’t wait to see where this company expands to next.

Not user-friendly. A friend repeatedly urged me to sign up so I gave it a try. She looked at my phone and said I hadn’t gotten as much credit as I should have for signing up using the link she gave me. So she spent half our lunch yesterday trying to figure out what was going on and getting me to delete and re-download the app. I did it. And still, no credit. Then I got in touch with customer service. The rep asked me for receipts, time I visited restaurant, number of diners, endless questions all afternoon. I answered every one of them without even really understanding how the app works or why it’s worth all this trouble. Finally they told me I was all set. Okay, whew. And then tonight I get another text from the app saying they need more information! This is all for just one meal I had using the app. Can you imagine the aggravation if you use it all the time? All this work for I don’t even know what! Next thing they’re probably gonna ask me for my firstborn child. Needless to say I deleted the app.

be aware of absurd new policy. i’ve never written a review for an app before. i’ve used this app for a while and was very content with the app until the absurd new policy- 90 days of inactivity meant all of your rewards expire. this has never happened before and this recent change has cost me to lose all the points i’ve earned because i didn’t book anything. not to mention, i couldn’t because i was away and i wasn’t near any of the cities they had in the app. also, there was no emphasis on the new policy, so how was i supposed to know about this change. a nice sms or app notification would’ve been nice. they said they emailed me about my rewards expiring, but i never received the emails. i wished they notified me through sms or app notification, but instead they did it through emails… to be very honest, this app is still good but just be aware. i wish i knew this beforehand so i would’ve taken some actions on retrieving the reward before it expired.

Latest update is not good. Customer service is awful.. I love the idea behind this app, and used it for a walk-in a few weeks ago. Went to do the same thing on Sunday and the “walk-in” button has vanished now that I’ve updated my app. I can’t find it on any restaurant profile so I know it’s not just the one I visited. Sent a message via the chat and it took over 24 hours for anyone to get back to me, and the response I got was in no way related to the question I asked. I’m still waiting for someone to reply to my email. Not sure why it takes so long to reply to a message - I had an issue with another app I used and they got back to me within the hour. Using the chat feature is buggy too - the keyboards covers up the text box so you can’t see what you’re writing.

My favorite App.... I can’t remember the last time something performed exactly “as advertised,” but the Seated app has once again made me a believer! As I have already redeemed my rewards on the purchase of a new HEPA air purifier, I can truly say this is the first time an app has really improved my life. My friends and family are exhausted of hearing about the miraculous wonder that is Seated...but NAY! I shan’t be stifled... I am shouting your glory from the rooftops! So hooray to Seated! Thanks to you, I’m eating better and breathing a little bit easier. Your fan, Jeffrey

Unfortunate. I loved this app for its good selection of rewards and how easy it was to accumulate them quickly. I used it for a restaurant I discovered through here which I visited once or twice a week. Unfortunately, I ran into an issue where both the cc receipt and and itemized receipt are not being accepted. Nothing is wrong with them, so don’t understand why. They asked for my cc statement which I refuse to give and don’t see what the problem is. After going back and forth with the customer service agent, I decided to discontinue use of this app. I find it unfortunate I’m getting treated as if I the receipts I’m submitting are suspicious. You can do better than this, Seated.

Don’t miss out. If you are looking for restaurants to try, why not get comped for it? The Seated restaurants are good quality, and so are the places you can redeem the rewards. I’ve gotten discounts on Delta that I have actually used, and it didn’t cost me anything except the value of the meals I was going to spend anyway. No tricks up their sleeve, just good eats and money back. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Almost unreal how good this is. Have been using this for few months now and just waiting for the fairy tail to end and the app turning bad. Because the app is extremely easy to use and book restaurants and you get real cash back for doing nothing more than what you would do for any other app like resy. Already earned more than $100 in cash back. Hopefully this is not too damning for the restaurants, as long as the restaurants survive, I will be happily using this app to get cash back.

A really cool app. Seated is honestly a very cool app that rewards you for eating at certain local restaurants via gift cards. It’s only available for a few cities but if you live in one and like to eat at and try different restaurants it’s a must have. My only complaint is that I wish they had more restaurants and ones not right in the city available on the app. All around a 5/5 app!

Easy and efficient! Who doesn’t want to be rewarded for eating :D. Love the app. It is partnered with so many stores I use to redeem my points for literally going to awesome restaurants! I love it. Additionally, it’s one of the few apps that lets you search by availability which is confident when I don’t want to search every website, ressy or opentable site one-by-one to see if that can accommodate a party on a specified day.
