BookBub. I just love this app!! It gives so many free and ridiculous reduced priced ebooks. It has so many popular authors and newly released books!

The app forces all filters to be active despite user preferences. Perhaps my previous review about the broken filter system was not clear. The developer instructed me how to use filters in response, COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTANDING that my complaint was that the filter settings aren't saved anymore. Thanks for the pedantic reply. BookBub resets the filter settings now. It didn't used to function this way. I can only assume that the app deliberately resets the filters in a lame attempt to get me to buy outside my prefered genres. Prior to Summer 2023, filter settings were saved between sessions. Now they are reset—meaning that the app reenables ALL filters each time I take time to only select a few. I bought at least a book every week with BookBub. Now I deleted the app. I don't buy any deals from BookBub at all. But please explain to me again how to use your filter settings.

You guys have a good app!!!!. I look for my email from Bookbub every day. I scroll thru to see what is out and what is free. Always great books to read no matter which genre you prefer. Keep up the great work guys.

Great App and User Friendly!!. I love having daily books in my preferred genres offered at reduced--or often free--prices! App notifies me when offers are available so I remember to view them before they expire. It's easy to use and works seamlessly with iBooks! You'll be amazed how fast your library grows when you don't have to spend a fortune buying books!!

Convenient deals at my fingertips. I like this app because I can browse it at my leisure to see what's new and cheap (because let's face it, we're here for the latter). A lot of the offerings seem like they're self-published or indie titles, but that's not bad. In fact, because the books are so cheap, I'm willing to try new authors that I otherwise wouldn't. A great way to save money and find an entertaining read.

The Irresistible Seduction. When on the app the book says free but when you go to read it, it charges you $9.99, why does it not tell you the price to begin with and why say it is free when it’s nothing free about it.

Still useful, even though I’m not an Apple Books reader. Unfortunately, the app only supports Apple Books purchasing due to iOS rules (and I read books on another platform). I do like using this app to track my TBR, reading, and read lists.

Broken. This was one of my favorite apps, but for the past 4 days it keeps telling me that there is an error on their end and to try back in a few minutes. I tried downloading on another device, but it did the same thing. I can’t even log in to the desktop version. Sad because I got some really amazing deals from this app, but it looks like it’s dead.

Good start, but.... 👎 There are far too many functions that kick you out of the app to the website to make this app useful. 👎 "Get Deal" takes you to Apple Books. This should function like the website and provide a menu to choose where to purchase every time. If there's going to be a default it should be configurable. 👎 No ability to select author on a book to view Author page like website. 👎 No Dark mode? 👍 Overall design is polished.

Easy to use. But would like to ask if we can rent the audiobooks instead of buying them? I don’t want to get stuck with an audiobook on my iCloud. 🙏 thank you

Book Bub. I love books and this app gives u access to tons of them in all genres and the best part is they don't cost you a ton of money. They start at free and up. I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading. Yes won't be disappointed.

Site works OK. The site is ok. A lot different from the website. Is it possible to have a search box on the app. Would like to see if authors and other books in different genres when using the app instead of having to go to the website.

Ok for deals, but…. This app is fine but it would be nice if I could see my purchased books from the app instead of having to log into the website. It’s fine for browsing the deals, but there’s so much functionality missing from the app that the website has, and logging into a website is awkward on mobile. That being said, BookBub still hasn’t changed the iBooks issue on mobile where it’s the only choice when you select a book, and I see reviews from 4 years ago with the same complaint…so I’m not thinking they take reviews into account.

Good but.... I really like the idea of the app, but I have to use the website to be able to choose the option for kindle. If I use the app it tried to make me use iBooks. It also doesn’t tell you if the book you’re getting is in the middle of a series until it’s too late and your getting your purchase confirmation. Not a huge deal as I tend to stick to the free books, but still kinda annoying that I have to wait until I have time to start a new series to read the books I got.

So excited. This has been a long time coming. I don't check my email daily and often miss out on a great deal. Now I can get notifications and miss nothing.

Amazing!. This app lets me know of the best deals on the books I want to read and none of the ones I don’t. It’s great and it’s new deals everyday so I never run out of books! Amazing app, I plan on using it forever.

So Disappointed ):. I wish the app was more like the website. I love how you can follow authors on the website. The website is so user friendly and the app is very limited. I got the app and deleted and re downloaded it but now I rely why I got rid of it. Also I wish it worked for the kindle app and not just iBook. It could even be link with goodreads some how. This could be such a great app, it has so much potential.

No search option. I downloaded and deleted almost immediately. You need to give an option for searching a specific book. I appreciate the specials you have but o should be able to search for a specific book I want to read. Not have to search thru the whole list to find a book. 🤦‍♀️

Search?. My only problem with this app is that you can't search for a book on it. Like if I've heard of a book from a friend, I can't find it easily. There should really be a way to search for books on BookBub. It would make things a lot easier.

Please add a search button!. It's a really great app! I just wish that it would be easier to find books. I want to find a certain book, but unfortunately I can't find it. I'm sure me and a lot of other people would really appreciate it if you added a search button!

Good, but could use more. I've been using the app for about a month now. I like it and have not had any technical issues, but I think it could use some more features. It would be nice if you could see on the main page when deals will expire, a way to categorize the offers available (e.g. Search by "thriller"), and a way to mark which offers you've taken advantage of as I've noticed that they occasionally repeat. I would also like to see a way to mark offers you've looked at already; a "read" feature similar to what email programs offer after you've opened a new message. Again, I like the app, and will continue to use it, but some enhancements would be nice.

Book Bud — good way to check titles. Boos Bud found this today. Love it cause I can find books I may want. What I hate is that I have to open Barnes and Noble to order. Please see if you can add all readers!

Use The Web Site. After I bought my new iPad I downloaded this BB app in the App Store. I seem to be unable to search for a certain book without having to browse through many books. Why can I review books on BB using my kindle fire and not on my iPad with this app. I even contacted help support and it seems you can’t pinpoint what you’re looking for when using this app. I deleted the app and found the BB website and my profile came up with all my book reviews. Better to use the Website. You get to browse books there too plus a lot more. This app lacks in so many ways!

Great website and now great application.. I love receiving the emails about the Book deals to help find new books to read and deals. Now with the website I can view them whenever and go and select the books I want!!

Supports Apple Books only. I read on a Kindle and even though this app claims to support other formats, it only allows the book to be opened in Apple Books. However, the daily emails I’ve been getting from the website, will open all books on Kindle. This app needs to be fixed to support Kindle.

Love this app 💕. I came across it by Facebook and decided to download it. But then I saw that I would have to make a account. What I originally thought when I downloaded this, is that I would have to link my google account or gmail so it would be easier to access. I want to be able to afford the books that I want at a low price, but I came across this problem. Could you add gmail or google to the account list? Thank you.

Best book app ever!!! 😍. I have saved so much money with this app, and they have a large assortment of genres to pick from. Your account is personalized as well, so they show you the type of books that you are most likely to pick. Can't live without it!!!!

New updates. Great to see the relaunch and fix to some of the bugs. Great work and great app!

Notifications no longer work.. I loved getting to see what new books were on sale every day but the notifications no longer seem to work. I’ve turned them on and turned them back on, logged out of my account, deleted the app and reinstalled, and nothing seems to work.

Apple Books Only. The website supports different retailers but this app only supports Apple Books. Send me an update when you support Kindle books. Until then, I’ll stick to using your website and email notifications.

Love it!. I've had BookBub for some years now only it was done in the form of an email. I'd get an email every day with books selected based on my preferences. I've got a zillion books (ok so I'm exaggerating. I do have many which I cannot keep up with). Great prices. You cannot beat it. Glad it's now an app. LOVE YOU GUYS! Great job!

BookBub is for readers. Bookbub provides me with lots of reading material for free or at a low price that I can use to pass the time in waiting rooms, on the stationary bike at the gym, or wherever I’m stuck with no other options. It quickly downloads reading material to my phone, so I never have to go without.

So many books, so little time!. I have read so many books that I would never have even known about because of BookBub! Love love love that I have found new authors, and inexpensive titles to add to my digital library!

Add a favorite button. I would like you to add a favorite button on the page where you get the publisher description, you could also add a place where you can get to your favorites. That would be great if you could add that

A must have app for any book lover!. This app is great! Since downloading it (maybe a week ago) I've added approximately 40 books to my kindle or iPhone library. All but 3 of the books I've downloaded have been free! The ones I had to pay for were .99 each! This is a great app to find new authors, however they also have great deals on names you'll easily recognize! I look forward to my notification everyday that tell me there a new deals to look at!! Awesome app!

Can only download books to iBooks. 🙁. I was excited to download this app, but now I know that I can only download the books to iBooks since. This is quite disappointing since I like to download my ebooks to my kindle. I’ll have to just use the website... Also, I would’ve liked to be able to search for a book or an author on the app.

A very favorite app !. So grateful for this app. Because of some health issues I spend most of my time at home. I so appreciate having access too so many books that I enjoy. The app makes it so easy as it guides you to topics and Authors that you prefer, and notifies you when they are available.

Great update. Really like all the recent updates. You can still browse deals, but now you can also search for books and update your wishlist. Love getting those emails when my wishlist books go on sale.

Best App for Book Lovers. This app is easy to use and purchase books. Every day you get a list of available books for free or discounted based on your preferred genres. They are downloaded instantly to your device. I think this is a great app and refer to it every day.

Only iBooks for iPhone app. I find this to be very unfortunate, I really have come to enjoy bookbub in my years of using it. However I mostly read on my kindle and when I’m not on my kindle I am using the kindle app on my iPhone. This app however only allows for the download of iBooks it will not connect you to the kindle book store like the daily or weekly emails would. I was thrilled that an app was available because it cut down on my emails but the app is so severely limited I may switch back to emails. If you are an avid reader using mostly kindle/kindle app or even nook this app is not for you. I am hoping that in the future they add support for kindle and other mediums like they do via email. Until then this app is not useful for me unless I feel like downloading a free iBooks that I am interested in.

Layout. I REALLY liked the layout of the app before. I could scroll thru each book, read a synopsis and see the genre all on the same face without clicking on each book. The way its layed out now takes too much time to scroll thru. Ive had this app for years but its just not as functional for me anymore. I will likely delete it soon….:(

Love it!!! One recommendation.... I LOVE getting the daily book suggestions (especially the free ones)! I also love that BookBub choose the books based on what they think I'd like. My only suggestion? It would be nice if there was an option to save book recommendations. Please thoughtfully consider this suggestion as I think it would be well-received!

Fan of the website but disappointed by the app. I’ve been receiving bookbub newsletters for awhile now and I was super excited to see that they have an app as well. The app doesn’t link or consider kindle ebooks in deals. I’m just going to use the website from now on.

Not bad!. Like this app lots of good books/deals. I just wish they had wider or more specific selection process. It bugs me that they only have history not ancient then the modern stuff broken down into centuries. Also they only have LGBT. I'd like to see this broke down into each group. I also wish the length of the book was listed. Other than that it's a good free app.

I like it a lot.. I bet I have had this app for 4 or 5 years. Everyday I get an email that shows me books on sale that might interest me. I usually gives me several new books each day from various categories I selected. Sometimes the books are from little known authors. There are usually books listed that are New York Times best sellers. I do not think that any book there is more than $5 at the most and most are under $3.00. You can also let the app know what authors you like and it will send you notices when one of their books. Is on sale.

Add A Search Engine. It's a good app overall but what really bugs is that you should be able to search for books or authors instead of scrolling through millions of books or just categorizing them. That would make the app much better in my opinion. Bye for now. 😀👋

Highly recommended!!!. I love reading but hate searching for new books to read! With this app you can set where you want your books to be from. I chose strictly ones that I can read on iBooks. I can choose what category and price. Most the books I download are on a free promotion but sometimes I purchase the sale of a series. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading. I'm a big fan! I love BookBub. BookBub has introduced me to authors I have never really considered before. By sending a free book by an author that I have never read before, if I liked it I would go back and read more or all of the books by the same author. I can be picky about authors but it is invaluable to me and I don't lose any dollars searching for authors that way. I am discovering new authors and great stories all the time! Thanks!

Constantly enables all filters. This and the previous release broke the filter settings. I used to be able to open the app and see just the genres I’m interested in, but the app removes my prefs and auto selects all genres repeatedly multiple times a day. Can’t help but feel this is by design. If they don’t fix it in the next update, I’ll delete the app.

Great app to find free or cheap ebooks. Just downloaded this few days back and been downloading cheap (less than a dollar) and free ebooks for ibooks app. I havent found any issue with it yet so giving it a 4 stars😊

Can't update authors - app needs to be improved. I would use this app a LOT more if it allowed me to do all of the same things as the website options. Please update the app to at least allow me to update my authors list.

Very Few that are free. So far, I have found 2 books that were free and interested me. Some are still at higher prices than I care to spend. Would like to see more great offers.

Great app. I downloaded this free app hesitantly because many of these types of apps offer a very poor choice of books and any half decent books are pricey. NOT the case with bookbub. The majority of ebooks I download are either Free or .99. The most I have ever paid for an ebook from this site is $2.99 and that is very, very seldom. I highly recommend this app to anyone who reads as voraciously as I do. I simply can't afford to purchase new paperbacks when I can read one in a day or two.

Does not work on iPad. I was able to download the app to my phone and was pleasantly surprised with book options, however I have yet to be able to download this for my iPad and that is the device I use for reading eBooks... What's up with that?? Until I can use it on iPad, I won't be purchasing any books free or otherwise.

Unable to purchase books. My Apple Store is set up and has never given me a problem, but I cannot order books from Bookbub. Bookbub is unhelpful.

Love BookBub. I think this is a great app for anyone who likes to read eBooks. You can set it up to show books in the categories of your choice and you will definitely get many interesting book offers. Its a great way to build up a library for a low cost or for free!

No iPad version. Why would I want to look for books on my iPhone when I have a lovely iPad? Since this app does not have an iPad version (with landscape mode), it's useless to me. I'll stick with the daily emails on my PC.

Can't get into Account. I've tried logging since I've had an online account before using the app. But it won't let me in. I as well tried resetting my password but it keeps saying that my email isn't an valid email account. With that being said I tried creating an account, but then it says this email is already being used. It'd be nice if someone could help me as I don't think the app is running properly for that. So help!?

Kobo. I have been on the mailing list for a couple of years now . I have used it almost daily to get ebooks for my kobo and some for my iPad as well . I look forward to trying the app instead of the email link

Love My BookBub. Love this service. Lots of great books low cost and free. I keep quite a few on my iPhone and iPad. E books don't take up much space. I read them, then delete.

In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Needs a few more features. Add the option to select where we want to purchase the books from. I don’t want iBooks. I want kindle books rendering this app useless. I’ll go back to using the website

Great selection and deals. This app is great for both frequent and casual readers. They do a great job of showing me selections that I am interested in, and the deals are amazing!

Frustrating. I've been trying to sign up for 3 days now. After inputting all my info. I get the message "can't sign up" there's no info. On where to go to try and fix the problem or even what the problem is for that matter.

SPAM. Even if you block this site, even if you delete and report they will spam you daily and fill your inbox with junk you can’t stop and comes from so many places. Avoid at all costs

I EXPECTED MORE.... You can look at books by category and that’s about all. Don’t expect to: -download a book to a reader other than iBooks ( could be because I have an iPhone. Apple is possessive that way) -search for a book in any way shape or form. -search a favorite author -connect with or view bookbub followers or your favorite authors -access an author account. If the developers added a search feature this app would be one I would keep. As it is, I’m uninstalling 😐.

Sad. This app does not work in landscape mode and is designed only for the iPhone, not the iPad, where a significant number of people do their reading. During design It's easy to make an app work in both views. I don't understand why they didn't bother.

No search option. The inability to search while usung this app baffles me. I like to support authors through as many platforms as i can, but with BookBub, I have to use a web browser.

Kindle, Bookmarks. Would like to be able to link to my Kindle app and see the bookmarks I've created on the website!

Only iBooks- not Kindle. I love this website but I read everything on Kindle and the app only gives u deals for iBooks- which I do not want. I only want them for Kindle. I do not read books on my phone

Where Are My Lists?. How do I edit and update my book lists? I started doing this on the web site, but am on my phone so much I wanted to try and track my books this year. I cannot find my lists or figure out how to edit my lists or update the lists when I am done reading.

Not applicable.... I guess since I don’t use iBooks, I can’t use the app for anything really. I just want to be able to use the ap to see what my friends are reading/recommending and to leave reviews...but guess I have to use the website for that. So for me the App is useless.

Worked then overcharged. Worked perfect for a couple weeks but after that every book I bought had the price doubled when I looked back at my iTunes account. So frustrating! I've stopped buying books from this app now.

Search. I like it but there's no way to search for specific books or authors from the app. That's just stupid.

CM. At first I thought I just couldn’t find my wish list—but based on the other app reviews, looks like it’s just not in the App. Best part of the website is getting to follow authors, find out their recommendations and keep your wishlist. Deleting it until it has same benefits as the website.

No privacy here. The app vendor has never provided any use-of-information policy, and the first thing the app asks for is your email address. Can you spell SPAM?

Such a find. I love getting new recommendations at a great bargain and the app makes the daily selections even more accessible.

Doesn’t deliver. I got this and set up my book preferences. But I’m constantly getting book recommendations for ones I have no interest in. I don’t like murder mysteries or chick lit, I didn’t put them in my preferences, so why am I getting them?

Finally. An app to access great book deals. I love it, I still get the email but then I just go open the app. It's easy.

BookBub app is NOT user-friendly!. I have tried and tried to use the BookBub app, but to no avail. If I want to do anything on BookBub, I have to go directly to the website. I ended up getting rid of the app. It is a complete waste of time!

Only for iBooks. This was a great idea but it’s only useful if you want to read on iBooks. Even though the website will include books on kindle or b&n the app does not. Better off using the website. Downloaded and immediately deleted this app for that reason.

Didn’t work on first purchase. Went through the process of buying a book, even though it was going to be in iBooks (ugh), and then it didn’t actually download - it’s nowhere on my phone!! You only get one chance at a first impression, and this app is an epic fail!!

I like the website but the app needs work. The app would get 5 stars if there was functionality to it like there is the website. I want to be able to access and leave reviews but the app doesn’t give this option. Please consider updating the app for full access!!
