Good, but Way Too Slow to Improve. The Moov bands are comfortable and work nicely. I got mine directly from Moov, but they're in Apple storefronts, too. The app works nicely for me for boxing and for swimming. But the run app lacks a very basic function that makes it maddening: it neither pauses other audio playback while coaching, nor provides the opportunity to shut-off aspects of the coaching you don't want. For example, the coach telling you that you're hitting the ground too hard is fine if you're on a road, but just a relentless annoyance if you're running through rough grounds in the woods and you can't hear your music or podcast. Big deal? I wouln't think so because surely they'll install those common features in the next rev? Nope. Despite now being in the big leagues by having a shelf on in the Apple stores, Moov states that they have been "working on it" for about two years.

Madison. When I tried my Moov and it did not track my progress. I don’t know why but it didn’t. I wonder if it was because I was swimming and it got disconnected when I swam farther down the lane. I am still not sure why it did not work but I still think my Moov is ok and still pretty cool.

Would not recommend after 50+ hrs of use. Initially I really enjoyed using my Moov to record my swims. While Moov used to have a dedicated app for swimming/running etc. it has recently merged these apps into one cluttered, unintuitive, and frankly obnoxious app. Perhaps coincidentally at the same time as the app switched my Moov went from misreading ~5% of my flip turns to misreading 10-25%! This means that it counts many of my laps as taking twice as long, having twice the number of strokes essentially rendering all of the data it collects useless. Instead of adding features like the ability to go in and manually edit swims, however, Moovs new app instead attempts to sell me new products and suggest career options at their company. Perhaps worse is that when you attempt to use the "leave feedback" your options are to leave a 5 star review or to send them a message without ranking. This feels overly manipulative from an app that already has so many problems. Would not recommend until they've fixed these major issues.

Abandoned app and product. Maps don't load anymore. Used to be great, not sure why did it die. Love mine

App not working. Since the last update, the app is not opening :-(

Mohammad. I cant login my moov acount!!!

App is OK. Device is garbage.. Bought one of these 2 weeks ago, switching from Misfit. I went on my first swim this AM and Moov Now device died/drowned. I was on surface the whole time. Don’t bother.

App is Dead. Company hasn’t released new features or even had a marketing tweet in over a year. As an individual who crowdfunded this I’m very saddened by it being abandoned.

Great device which needs better app. I’ve been using this gadget for some weeks. It has some minor problems determining the sleeping and wake up time but in other situations is perfect. The coached exercises need some developing. There is no warm up or cool down section before each session so u need to take ur phone few times at the gym to start and setup. Despite the waking/running, in the swimming section there is no online coaching to make u preform better or longer. And I still don’t know if I should take it off in jacuzzi and sauna with higher temperature. For this price range, I certainly do recommend this stylish waterproof gadget.

After IOS 17, it is not working. Unbale to give the locational tracking permission.

Good start. I've had my Moov and the app for a week now and I'm mostly satisfied. I know there are people out there disappointed with the lack of step counting but this is not a step tracker. 2 running workouts provided great detail post run. I paired it with a Bluetooth hrm which was great. I am a little disappointed with the lack of tracking for bicycle trainers. I tried it once and while I could see my heart rate and cadence on my phone during the workout # there was no detail afterward. I'm hopeful this feature will be added soon. Sleep taking is actually the most impressive thing for me so far. It's automatic and trouble free. Best I've seen so far because most didn't track sleep before midnight. This one does and it's pretty accurate. Syncing is not automatic at least it hasn't been for me. That needs to be improved. Overall I'd say this is a goodstart. There's a lot of promise here.

Love it. Would like to be able to adjust interval time in thirty second increments.

The app is OK, the wearable is garbage. Haven’t found much use for this other than sleep tracking, and when I’m sleeping the band keeps flipping in on itself and I have to adjust in the middle of the night ... thus ruining my sleep. It’s pretty subpar all around.

Stopped working. It was already bad and constantly disconnecting from the device and losing data. Doesn’t record sleep now.

Will this work with the first gen moov devices?. I've got one of the first gen moov device, will it work with this app?

Pretty much no significant Updates or new features. It's said to see this app slowly decline and be ready to killed off.

Stops recording swimming with latest version. It suddenly stops recording swimming activity. When I finish workout, the app already closed itself. Reopens with splash screen and no recording the activity..

So Good, I’ve bought another. I loved my first Moov Now, (and the initial kickstarter model as well). I used it to track swimming, road cycling and help me develop a proper running form. I enjoy looking back on my progress, sleep trends and competing with my teenage daughter for active minutes (she wins). But when my Moov died after developing a crack, the company really showed how they support their users. I emailed Moov to ask about support, and learned that my device was out of warranty, but they didn’t just leave it there. Patricia, the customer support rep, helped me identify current offers and clarify differences between product lines. When I decided to buy a new, single black Moov Now rather than take advantage of special offers, Patricia went in and comped my shipping. While a small thing (just $3), it demonstrated to me that Moov is much more than a producer of great products at brilliant prices. More than a purveyor of easy-to-wear devices that make it easy to track multi sports with optional human coaching as well. Moov knows how to support their customer. Great device and excellent company.

Good app, needs to be more flexible. Users should be able to set app volume independently of changing the volume of other apps. For example, when I set the coach app volume to low, I don't want the volume of my streaming music to change!

Good but. I love the app. I just wish that there was an open boxing session that can track my punches without having to follow their workout

Love it!!. I love this app!! Love the Moov! Makes the workouts trackable and I’m getting great sweats out of it! Bought a second Moov for the kickboxing. Just wish y’all would add more workouts!! Different styles!!

Not bad but can be improved. I think the mechanics of the app and devices are great! However I would like to see integration with the Apple Watch as a possible heart rate monitor as well as having an Apple Watch app so we wouldn’t have to have our phones with us when we workout. Other than that, the interface, the structure, everything else about that app I love. Integration with Apple Watch would make this perfect.

Decent. Ok. So I don’t understand why (beyond not moving a lot) it records me ‘asleep’ when I am standing still for 30 min. Also, I understand it is not a ‘pedometer’ app because it does so much more by why isn’t it at least a pedometer. I walk my dog. It doesn’t record it. I mean come on. And if my phone is in my purse or pocket the health app doesn’t always accurately record the steps. The coaching is ok on walking but a little unnecessary. Circuit basic but gets the job done. Haven’t tried swimming yet. Looking forward to trying that.

Nice.... I’ve used the Moov Now band and this app for a long time. I love the 7 minute workout and even now think it’s execution a cut above competing apps. Sometimes it misses a rep or counts one as bad for no discernible reason but it’s generally pretty spot on. One thing I’m surprised they haven’t fixed is that when you take a photo at the end of a workout, it still defaults to the rear camera. For runs, there are the occasional Bluetooth connectivity issues that others have noted but it otherwise works well, the only downside being you need to run with your phone. With the larger models that are popular now, that’s a bit of a hassle and it would be nice to see Apple Watch integration as an alternative. I would also like to see them update the design of the Moov Now, preferably to something that has a rechargeable battery.

App crashes and will not open. Issue is faced in the recent update, the app crashes (black screen comes and app will be closed) when I try to open it on my iPhone 7 Plus. So I am not able to open and use the app. Please fix it as soon as possible

Interface is scaled wrong on iPad. Interface looks terrible on iPad. Huge black letterboxes on all four sides. Interface doesn’t adjust if you rotate 90 degrees. In the marketing videos it shows the videos being projected onto a TV screen, so I assumed I’d just be able to view them natively on my iPad in full screen, but no.

Records well, but can't always start it. I've used the app to record running and swimming and found it to be very accurate while using it with my Moov Now. I have run into a problem recently though. After recording and reviewing my workout I use my phone for something else, then try to come back to the app and look at my swims more, but the app crashes or restarts. It just disappears from view. I double click home and the app is sitting there. I click on the app's page and it shows for a second again, then disappears. Not good.

Underrated awesomeness. Moov Now really stands out from the crowded wearables market by offering something that cares about your form and actual performance. Its prompts really help me to push harder, and not just specific to one sport but various. I hope to see more Moov hardware to come, though I have nothing much to complain about what I have already! Thank you for a brilliant product.

Great for workout nerds. Does a spectacular job of recording information and giving you great numbers to work with for analysis on your performance over time. If you’re a swimmer, I don’t know of any app that is better.

It's a good devise and app.. I have swam 157 km with Moov Now for over a year. It has worked well for the most part (I think only two instances that it failed to sync and lost data). The readout of my swimming laps and styles are very accurate. Am getting the Moov HR soon.

Good concept weak tech. The option to edit a workout when finished is not available so if you tell it your done it sometimes records your walk back to the car or wherever as part of your workout. Also my bpm heart rate did not hit 176. I think i would know that. Not enough readily available info to explain what stats mean. You have to search the help section to get info that should be part of A pop up in the app.

On The Right Track. I don't necessarily understand some of the more negative reviews of both the fitness tracker or the app. The Moov devices, in my opinion, do exactly what they were advertised to do. So far I have tested running, cycling, boxing, and the body workout routines, all of which work great. Sleep tracking is close to being accurate, but not quite perfect; and without a heart rate monitor or skin temperature sensor I doubt it's going to get any better. It simply gets a good estimate, which is fine by me. I really like the Moov Now for what it is, a coach, and a great one at that. It forces me to push myself just a little harder than I normally would. It corrects my form when I start feeling tired on a long run. It motivates me to stay active by constantly reminding me in the app to get at least 30 active minutes every day. So why only four stars? There are no social features as of now. I bought one for both myself and my parents so we could keep each other motivated to keep doing better (we're all fairly active people with competitive personalities). Also, I would LOVE the ability to export GPS and fitness data to third party apps/sites such as Endomondo. I like having a centralized hub that keeps track of all my workouts (since the Moov app doesn't necessarily track all of them). Overall though, it's a great device with a very streamlined app that had a nice user interface. I imagine it will only get better from here.

Great overall, but one outlasting flaw. The robot voice before the last update wasn't by any means human-like. There were many complaints against it. But, this update makes the last voice sound like Beyonce in comparison. The new voice breaks up, sounds absolutely terrible, and is overall irritating. There are more minor flaws, but the voice is honestly the easiest thing to change to make it from a 3 star app to a 5 star app.

Love it!. I just got the Moov Now for Christmas from my uncle. At first I was skeptical because I really wanted a Fitbit. But, after using it for a few weeks, I have come to love Moov WAY more than a Fitbit! Moov has an app that gives you workouts and can even coach you! It tracks your daily movement, measures your swimming and running distances, and a lot more! I have absolutely NO complaints! I used to dread swim practice, but now I am excited to do anything athletic! Because Moov is kind of like a new toy to me! (I am 13 years old) It might sound childish but Moov really has made working out a bit more fun and exciting. All of my coaches call me "health conscience" because I really do like to watch my health. And Moov helps me with that! I have one suggestion that could make it better though... I personally LOVE the circuit training. I just wish there were some more workouts that worked on different parts of the body individually. Or just more workouts in general. My overall thoughts- LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!😍😀😁😼😸😺👍👍👍❤️❤️💛💛💚💚💙💙💜💜🖤🖤

Unable to log in on iPhone X. Having been unable to log in on my iPhone X. It times out every single time. Useless app!

Not Connecting. Sometimes the Strap Core connects most times it does not, very aggravating when trying to get your cardio going. I have tried multiple times for this to connect to the app and simply wont, keeps saying strap core is required when I am wearing it. Any help would be nice to the issues I have been occurring. Thanks.

App update???. I’ve been using Moov for over 5 years and love it for biking, walking, & swimming but especially sleep tracking. After a recent update, the sleep portion is now gone. This was a major reason I preferred MOOV over any other wearable. I’m hoping it’s an error and comes back. If not, I don’t see any advantages to buy MOOV over any other competitor

Annoying! Requires location services to be always on. Annoying! Requires location services to be always on. I don’t think this was always the case. Please fix so I can give additional stars.

Gotta say.. I like it. Does exactly what it says it does and then you find out about some of its cooler features like the boxing coach and how well you run! Only thing stopping it from 5 stars is i wish it could track my random workout (like playing ball) instead of its standard coaches

Simple enhancement suggestion. Custom Interval Training Should: - Allow users to warm up for as long as they want (not max 5 minutes) - Add a cool down period - Allow intervals to be as little as possible (3-5seconds) for high intensity sprint training, not a minimum of 1 minute. That would be a HUGE step up for performance athletes and seems very easy for developers at Moov to implement. Seems like this could easily be accomplished. The next step up would be to allow a fully customized workout, not just interval training. I have been tinkering with app functions before I buy the Burn or Sweat, so I can’t speak to data display or connectivity.

Hoping to see a Apple Watch Version soon!?!. Hi, as a IPhone 8 Plus user running with the phone has become difficult. Hope for a Moov + Applewatch release. Would be great and a push into the game again after it became a bit quiet about Moov.

awesome. Without exaggeration .. it is one of the best sports programs .. and the device is unparalleled

Useless for recording workouts. Pretty useless for recorded workouts. If the phone is not near by during entire workout then it fails to sync data back. Tied to record swim and cycling. Failed both times. Lost data. App interface is bloated too. It looks like there is a bunch of options that lead to the same place. Total failure.

Lost 21lb since using Moov. I can’t stick to without routines that are boring and intimidating. Moov now and HR bundle give me so many fun ways to exercise. I swim with both devices and get beautiful report I share and brag about my swims. I also run and first time doing a half with the help of the Moov coach. She is motivating and accurate. Since I fell in love with my Moov, I did more workouts than before.

Ain’t working. I’ve been using of for a long time now, but my Moov wrist band stopped working a couple of months Back and hasn’t recovered since then. Please help. I have 4 moov wristbands, and none work anymore.

Love it, wish It had Apple Watch app. I use this every time I run. I love the data, real-time feedback, and Strava integration. I wish I could pause my run from my Apple Watch. I have to cross busy streets often and sometimes end up waiting a bit.

Perfect for swimming. It accurately counts my laps and provides intel on my stride length, # of strokes per lap, avg time per lap, etc. Awesome app/tracker band.

This app was amazing. I tried to change my password and the website on my phone and laptop says the site is corrupt. Idk I just returned the item.

love the app but it’s buggy. not sure what happened but recently i get a lot of instances where intervals just end in the middle of workout. originally thought it was battery, but recently ruled that out. i love the app but it is frustrating when the workout interval ends randomly.

Good app - would like ability to customize workouts. Have used app for a while for both running and road cycling and it tracks the workouts well. I liked the addition of HR monitor tracking that was added after the first Kickstarter release. The voiceovers on the outdoor cycling though are off especially when it comes to altitude gains - it seems to track gains from sea level and not from any altitude related to my workout location. Would love the ability to put HR targets in cycling. Under running section, Open run and Open HR run have the start of what I would like. Additional changes should be able to have multiple intervals with different targets which I haven’t seen the ability to do yet.

Not there yet. The software is great. If only the rubber strap was better designed ! The Moov hardware falls out of the strap after a few days of hard use! Mine is lost forever

Very well thought of and awesomely implemented. I love this app!!

Has potential but currently not all it is promoted as. I thought the new moov now tracker sounded like a worthwhile purchase to help me work on my running technique plus it offers some additional activities that seemed to make it worthwhile. However I am finding that the moov app is very limited in functionality and content. One example - the training modules for running are broken into intervals that require you to swipe the phone to go up a level - not so easy when phone in arm band and You don't want to stop running. Integration with headphones control would be good. Also to try and do this I have to set the phone to stay on which eats up battery. The coaching voice making technique suggestions seems programmed rather than a realtime response as they occur at similar times each run rather than being related to what I am doing - essentially they act as reminders not realtime feedback. There are no plans in the app to work up to specific distances and minimal capacity to customize the training modules by time or distance or number of intervals. Once finished it will keep counting intervals but you can't set the number you want before the run. It is total hassle to pause or end the session once you have started and no ability to choose the warm up time. Detailed stats and some feedback are provided on completion of a run and a brief comparative progress summary but you cannot extract the stats to compare the same type of run for progress. Each activity, whether running or the other activities moov offers, is listed in a history list one after the other by date but no way of collating them according to activity. The moov app designers could learn from looking at a running app such as runmeter which even has a choice of voices in specific accents and they sound like people - not a voice out of a b-grade sci-fi movie! The 7+ workout relies on you doing the very limited number of exercises using arm movements exactly as the 'coach' says so, for example, you can't hold a weight when doing squats. This function is sort of OK for a motivational challenge but really not all it appears from the promotions and 'reviews'. If you do the reps faster it loses count - again bringing into question its capacity to 'coach' in realtime. For daily tracking purposes any activity you do outside of those in the programs do not register as activity except walking around. This might be ok if there was a way of manually recording that you did other activities throughout the day eg., weight training as you can in other fitness apps such as myfitnesspal. I didn't really buy it for daily activity tracking but I liked the focus on activity rather than steps, however it is limited in actually capturing all your activity except walking and the moov app activities. If you do proper boxing training as opposed to boxercise aerobic classes the boxing function is a fun novelty value cardio workout but pretty useless for form training or even proper shadow boxing. I can't comment on the swim or cycling functions as have not used them. I am beginning to think I got a bit carried away by the promotional hype with moov now and it's companion app - probably ok purchase for motivation and times when you want some structure for workouts but not so good if you already train regularly and already do regular conditioning workouts. Think I will be using it in tandem with my old running app and eventually replacing with a decent running watch and I won't be deleting my Virtual Trainer workout apps anytime soon as they are many times better for creating home workouts with body weight exercises and whatever training equipment you might have. I think moov now maybe offers a look at what fitness tech wearables will do in the future so in that way its interesting to use. Having said all this I am hoping for improvements in the functionality of the moov app which would help make the moov now much more useful NOW and I would feel happier that I spent money on it.

Amazing device for workouts. The firmware update has greatly increased its daily energy use and sleep tracking. However the genius is in the versatility of workouts. I've used it for commuting on my bike (monitors cadence when strapped to the ankle), swims (knows the stroke used and how long each lap), and 7 minute workout. If you don't care about your daily steps being counted and want a personal coach in your phone, get this beauty instead of the fitbits and garmins.

The Greatest Fitness Tracker So Far. Moov Now is an excellent tracker. I’ve had it for over a year now and it is great

Really great app!!!. I've been using the app for a couple of months and I really love it! The interface is simple and easy to use and so far I've had no major issues with it.. I really love the device and the app!!

Like the coaching run. 5 star if there's an app for Apple watch (2/3). I use moov on interval runs only, other sports done by Garmin.

Terrible. An absolute waste of time. Their bands aren’t secure at all and one bump undoes them. The company is garbage at responding to anybody with issues without showing them you’ve reported them to relevant governing bodies. Their items frequently break and are constantly delivered broken. Multiple glitches in recording. The workouts follow no logical path and are all 100% the same and show that whoever wrote them has NO understanding of how to write a program.

Could be great. Great hardware and good app that is let down by very poor support for third party heart rate monitors. If it worked as advertised it would be amazing

Moov is better for swimming!!!. Though moov doesn’t record all data to apple health, I feel it is better than apple watch series 3 in swimming category. It gives additional factors like DPS, SWOLF... more over apple watch series 3, shows my freestyle as butterfly but moov detects it fine. I have not used moov for swimming and sleep recording. Apple lacks sleep measure also. We have to depend on third party apps.

Worst ever product and support 😡. Worst ever electrical product I have got. I just return it back. And with no hope to get my money back. I paid the same price as device fir postage. When I was awake showed I slept. And when I slept shows you are awake. You can’t upload your swimming lap to Strava, and just to Map My Fitness, with very basic details. And also you can’t export from Map My Fitness as well. I did try on bike, wasn’t accurate, and you can’t upload hard rate to Strava. Took long time for support response, and always saying we are very small number of people. So pooooooooor support.

Time for update. I really enjoy using Moov during my exercises, and I think it offers good HR monitoring in a non-conventional form (i.e. headband) which I really like. Having said that, I do feel like it is time for an update to the app from the developers of Moov. I would really like to see more improvement in the syncing of data with Apple Health (particularly the HR data), and perhaps better general tracking g for the Moov Now, when wearing it for everyday tracking, which I feel is inaccurate when worn on the non-primary (i.e. the left ha d for me).

Still a long way to go. App doesn’t support iPhone X App doesn’t write to Apple health Device works ok. I use it often.

MOOV. Love it. Though it could better if you had a generic workout place to do yoga or Pilates or something similar. I've had it 3 mths now and luv it

hands down.. and up.. and to the side.. and up.. and oh yeah best work out app to date. I've used a few work out apps, this is by the best one out of all of them. of coarse you'll need the moov sensors.

Not for everyone. When I bought Moov in the summer it was great because I bike ride and Moov is awesome for that but I don't run or swim as a sport. Unfortunately in the winter or at home Moov is limited to a couple of workouts that is coached but there's no option to do your own and on the the coaching workouts does not support a HR monitor. I'm using other HR monitors telling that I'm burning over 500 kal on workouts I do but at the same time Moov recording only a slight activity. Moov team if this device is going to record active minutes we need more options and more freedom.

Love it!. Returned my FitBit and so glad I did! Love that this pushes you to improve instead of just giving you stats. Really hoping that elliptical is included along with more weight excercises. Great job on a great product!

The best fitness tracker. Absolutely love it. Addicting workouts that count my reps with form coaching like I thought would only come from a human personal trainer!!! I am in!!!

Terrible. I got an error saying service unavailable error code 503 when I tried to register my account. So if I can ever make an account then maybe I can use this product. Something's wrong with the app.

Good, but not enough.... First off now that I’m finally able to use the app, i love the potential. My main focus is on swimming, and I have a few issues with the workout reporting: 1) the app will not work with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - the phone was not on the list of non-compatible devices when I purchased the MoovNow and still isn’t, as far as I can tell. So now I need to drag my (original sized) iPad at the pool, not practical at all. 2) I wish we could edit the styles and laps. 2a) I know the device cannot recognize kicks, but it would be nice to be able to change that 10min break into what actually happened... surely it can extract what calories and energy value that would be worth after the fact. 2b) additionally I would say that we should be able to add what accessories we’ve used. Like I do sets arms only with paddles or legs only with flippers... and then even be able to specify which size (s/m/l) as I use larger ones to have more friction, and the more effort.

So far so good. Used it for my first run today and I'm excited to have it keep me motivated to improve and give me tips as a beginner. I would love to see the app include a smart alarm to wake me up at the best part of my sleep cycle or integration with another app that can do this for me. Integration with music apps could also be improved.

Love my MOOV. Love my MOOV keeps track of my sleep patterns.

😒 this is not the tracking device you are looking for. Very disappointed by the product.. If I have knowned that the "coach" voice couldn't be disabled and would go over my music during training I would never had bought this thing... All I wanted was something to monitor my activities and then at the end tell me how I did but the little voice over is just to invasive and like I said, no way to turn it off...

Love it! With room for improvement!. I really do like my Moov! It is a lot smaller than I expected, the straps are really soft and comfortable, it's as cute as a button! I enjoy the activity tracker - mainly because I'm always active longer than 30min a day :P I've been monitoring my sleep, and working on a healthier sleep patterns. I would love it if it could also count steps (to get credit for all those times when I just missed the "active line" :) Main issue I have is that the 3D technology doesn't always tell apart my butterfly from my freestyle. It's a bit disappointing for a butterflier (hence 4stars) Also it doesn't seem to count kick sets and sculling into the workout distance... I can live with that (minus the times when I'm required to do a 400m timed kick lol) A few minor changes... But I'd recommend this tracker any day :)

Indoor cycling ?. Overall the app works well, but why was the indoor cycling option taken out?

Love it!. My husband and I just received our moov yesterday and already I'm in love with it. It is comfortable to wear and has tracked everything I have done in a day and night (round the clock)I have used the brisk walk and open run program so far and the coaching is awesome you have out done yourself. Well done

Good device. Moov is a pretty device considering the price point. I have the 2 devices for over a year and use them mostly for cardio boxing. However, the company need to upload more options for exercise as it doesn’t take long to get bored of doing the same routine over and over.

App is missing friends. The app is lacking the ability to add friends and with each other's progress and motivate through the app. There is nothing there similar to the leaderboard presented in the Moov commercial. If it's pending an update, keep the customers informed- when will it be done? Thanks

More workout types!. The new interface is great. Can't wait to see the new workout types, building off the cardio-boxing routine. Hoping for fun and variety. This live workout coaching is what distinguishes Moov from the other activity trackers: realtime encouragement and specific feedback about what you are doing. Hope you expand that part of the platform. Huge opportunity here to continue to build the excitement.

OOOHHHH. MMHHYYY. GAAWWWDD. Best swim tracker EEEVVVAAAARRRR!!!!! What are you waiting for GO GET ONE!!!!

I love it!. It has all I was looking for and more. I use it for swimming and outdoor biking. During winter I use it for spinning to monitor my cadence. Lately I am using the fitness option and I love it. Basically you have your instructor in front of you and exercises are excellent. I don't wear it often at night but it shows your sleeping time. In general terms I highly recommend it. Nothing to envy to the iPhone or garmin. Excellent price. I am looking forward to getting my heart rate monitoring device so I have the complete setup. Five stars

Many improvements needed. I want to like the concept of the Moov Now but the app needs a lot of work. Some issues: - why does sleep data not sync with Apple health while other data does - how long do we have to wait for integration with 3rd party apps like strava - possibility of reviewing historic workouts, trends etc is extremely limited. Where is a weekly and monthly view - why not auto detect when I start exercising instead of having to press my Moov

Good for what it is. I bought one of the first Moov's (literally first batch of preorders) and have used my Moov off and on for runs since. It's not perfect: the gps can be flakey and the Bluetooth connection is fragile (hint: phone and Moov have to be on the same side of your body). The "7 min+ workout" is, as its name implies, more than 7 mins and the counter misses sometimes. All this said, it's made me a much better runner. The app improves with each update. Overall, I'm happy. Now if they added an Apple Watch control...

Lots of potential. I got the Moov Now because it was three-sport and 1/3 of the price of the others. Initially I liked the interface and the coaching stuff, but this product is still pretty rough around the edges. The swim sync method is easy to screw up, and I lost my ankle band in the first month of owning it. Also, you can’t export data from this app or sync it with other apps like MyFitnessPal or Strava, so you’ll either need to double track or only use Moov.

Apps great, when it actually connects. It's beyond frustrating to have tech that is great but have an unresponsive app. Trying to get one of my moov devices to connect to the app is pain staking enough, but if you try connecting two for a kickboxing workout... forget it. Impossible. I've tried many times and not once have both connected. Not sure why I purchased two of these now. Mind you my review is only based on this version of the software, but I see potential for this product to be a 5 star one. Please fix connectivity issues.

More detail in the app would be nice. I love my moov now, but I wish there was a way to zoom in and get more information on my active minutes and sleep information. The graphs they have are unsatisfactory glimpses into the data. I wish there were more ways to investigate the data close up to see more information. Even being able to zoom in to know more specifically at what times you were active would be a big improvement. It would also be great to see more guided workouts like the circuit training incorporated into the app. I would love more workouts to be guided by the moov now in my home without them getting boring. Would love to see these ideas in an update

useless for swimmers. MOOV does a decent job of tracking straight swimming, but even then they miss a large number of turns. The real problem comes if you do any kind of scripted workout. A) it does not capture any drills (kicking, pulling etc etc). All who swim on a team or masters will realize that this is a major problem. B) breaks have to be 10 sec or more. Today I swam 9x 100m on a very tight interval and it missed 5 of 8 breaks. C) the problems above (and others) could be fixed if the user could edit the data. They can't. I've logged 79 swims over the last year and only one if these captured the swim correctly (that was a straight freestyle distance swim with no breaks). I've been so submitting feedback continuously since last May and was getting responses and requests for more comments in the beginning. Now I don't even get that. If you just swim it is ok, but if you're a swimmer, stay away (for now)

Swimming is awesome!. I've been an avid user of the new Moov primarily using it for swimming and can say it works wonderfully in my stroke detection. It recognizes all four of my strokes of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle accurately, no other wearable I've used has been able to do this as well & I highly recommend this! I'm going to try the other programs to help me train for a triathlon I have coming up!

Best sports tech I've found. There is so much potential for this device that it would be easy to say it should do more, but what it does it does well, and who knows what may be added in the future? More sports? Desktop download? Synch with other apps? Sure, but what else does what it does now? I particularly like the run coaching and foot impact data, the swim lap tracking, and the seven minute workouts (actual time is greater). Six month battery is a nice bonus! For the price it is amazing!

Cool. Great concept and very nice UI. What would really be awesome is if there was an open workout feature so that we could count our Crossfit workouts or our weightlifting etc. this would make this gadget the coolest thing, ever. Please consider this.

More Workouts. I purchased this solely for the sleep tracking function. The workouts were a major bonus. However, I just wish it had more at-home workout options such as using door frame pull up bars and free weight training with dumbells.

Poor design on strap. Had it for about a month. Liked it a lot — but the strap was hard to attach to my wrist. Too difficult, but I liked what it recorded and especially liked using it when cycling. Then one day I was cleaning out our attic and afterwords realized the device was not in the wrist strap. Realizing it must have fallen out, I went back to the attic and found the device. Well, this morning I was working and running some errands and when I got back home I realized the strap was empty again. Looked everywhere, but no luck. $60 gone. Won’t get another, too risky.

I love it so far but.... Sometimes it fails to track my sleep and I can't figure out why. I actually like that it's harder to hit the active minutes goal than it is to hit targets with typical step counters. I'm on my feet at work all day but think it's totally fair to not give me a lot of credit for that because let's face it, just because I'm walking back and forth doesn't mean I'm getting real exercise.

Fab app and device. I am an avid swimmer and have really enjoyed the use of this app which goes along with their moov swimming tracker. I have used several other swimming tracking devices and this one has the best app ui. Highly recommended

Smart coaching. Much better than the standard running/workout apps that give you generic distance and time updates - or none at all. You get form updates and real time coaching like running cadence and landing impact. I also use the 7 minute Bodyweight workout - it can sense when your form is correct so you can't cheat. Definitely worth it.

Decent app. Not updated. Annoying voice. The app does a decent job of providing some stats while cycling but that's it. The "Moov Power" is an essentially useless "feature" since it doesn't accurately interpret power data. The cycling feature doesn't auto pause so workout summaries are wildly inaccurate and the voice feedback isn't mute-able. You can turn it down but it also turns down your music. All this would be easily fixable but they rarely update their app with useful functions. Maybe one day the app will be useable but for now it's just not functional for most cyclists. I just wish they would listen to their feedback panel and implement things that many people request.

Great device OK app with so much potential. Just got my Move Now and so far find it very comfortable to wear (tho a little hard to put on my wrist without pulling arm hairs!) and just did my first workout. This is next gen stuff! Corrected me while running and pushed me hard on intervals. It helped my form with squats too. I want more! More types of exercises since I'm not a swimmer. Also would be great to have workouts that use more than just body weight since I do go to the gym. Can't wait to see what Moov comes up with next!

Still not taking full advantage of the decide. This update is about 1.5 yrs later than what they planned. The spinning app came along way too late and way below expectation. It only show you current cadence and heart rate but is in no way a program like others. There was no coaching (not that important anyway) but no program or levels. Can it that hard to create some for the fun of it? Still does not sync sleep with apple health. They have promised to allow data to escape the app but still have it lock down. They are also adamant about not showing step. I'm not sure why hide such data when you can provide it. Data collected is presented in a mediocre way for the indoor cycling at least. Want to compare between session? Better open every session you ever done. Want to interact with your graphs of data? Nope. The device can track so much but the app came up so short (lacks of ways to capture data or present captured data in a obscured way). I get it. The app is sort of an after thought with the device. But the app is what shows what the device can do. the longer the Moov team neglect this app, the worse it's going to get. No matter what the next device they manage to come up with, I'm not thrilled if this app remains the way it is.

Excellent!. I've had my Moov Now for about a week and am absolutely loving it. Super comfortable to wear, and effortless to use. App is well designed and easy to use. Syncing is automatic (every 45 minutes, I believe) or on demand if you want it. Sleep tracking appears to be accurate. The cardio kickboxing is fun and well done. The swim program is great, but could be improved by 1) providing stats broken down by stroke style (e.g. I don't find it super helpful to average together breast stroke and freestyle); and 2) better lap detection (my latest swim had four 25 yd laps which were twice the duration and twice the average number of strokes--the app should be able to realize these 4 instances were in fact two 25 yd laps). The biggest con for me--and the reason I gave only 4/5 stars--is lack of export. I want to be able to take my data out and put it into an open QS system such as Fluxtream. I'd also like to see more exercise programs (yoga, weightlifting, and meditation are my top three) and the ability to annotate the timeline with comments and photos. All in all, I'm thrilled with how well it works, and how easy it is to use. A great motivator to get exercising!

Awesome App. Really gives you a great picture of your workout and related fitness level and improvement. The daily goal and workout tracking are just great. You will not be disappointed.

Great app!. I love this app/device! I just wish that it had a place to add notes to a workout. It would be helpful to include extra information about each workout: levels on treadmill or bike, laps on a kick board (since the swim mode treats this as a "break"), etc. Also hope to see new activities added...

This is a vital tool for the novice to the pro. I have used Moov for sleeping, Swimming, walking and running. This device keeps a complete record of the my sleeping pattern, workouts and the kind of feedback a Dr. or coach would give. And for the folks that loose their units try wearing it just a little snug and pull your running sock over the thing.(don't temp fate) . It works better than advertised!!!

Very Freaking Limited. People seem to lose sight here, review the app, not the Moov device itself or the shipping of the Moov device. This is just an ok app. It only helps with the work outs that are predesigned for you. If you are a weight lifter than you are on your own for work out tracking. Second the Apple Health Integration is not all it's cracked up to be. Most people view Apple Health for the steps, this app or the Moov itself does not show any steps in Apple Health. Also it does not do blood pressure. Another thing is the Siri like expressionless voice that it uses to coach you, they could have used a more smoother voice or given the user voice options.

Tracker. While the tracker is great for outside cycling and walking/running, and lap swimming, it is not good for other gym workout tracking. For example, if the bicycle does not move, your activity is not tracked at all. Another example is that it does not track movement on an elliptical machine. The only other criticism is the fact that you have to press the device before each workout, even if it is one that you did the day before. If these features could be added, along with a memory of the device, this would be the best tracker on the market.

Ridiculous App & Poor Design. The app is subpar, only showing you half of your fitness story. It doesn't fully link to apple health kit and doesn't link at all with other apps that give you the other half of your fitness picture. The device itself cuts out halfway through a workout leaving you with zero data for half of your workout, so no real usable data at all. On top of that the core pops out, even when you wear it exactly as instructed, then when you lose it because of the ridiculous design flaw it's on you to come up with the money to replace it. I've thrown out my now empty bands and deleted the app. I'll still with my Fitbit until I find a more reliable tracker that gives me the coaching I need.

NO SUPPORT/NO HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION. Even when you write very specific questions, you always seem to get the same GENERIC response (and NO way to reach through): "Thank you for supporting Moov! I have logged your suggestion. We really appreciate knowing your feedback and take it very seriously as we improve the Moov app and create new programs. Know that your feedback creates discussions here that result in changes and improvements for our users." I have written too many times. This company doesn't seem to care about its customers. AND things don't seem to change.

Good. The new update is good but I'm still hoping for more coaching options. Like other sports. Also when I want to look back at something a month ago it takes a while. Also when you swipe the days too fast it sort of lags.

Moov more with MOOV NOW.... I got my Moov recently and it totally changed the way I workout. I remember skipping cardio because it gets boring after a point. But now with Moov, there is someone in my ear saying, Hey! You're slowing down run faster. Now that's the kind of motivation I needed to push myself to run that extra mile I always wanted to. I also love cardio boxing. It's like playing motion gaming with a play station . I highly recommend Moov to people who want something more than just a step and sleep tracker.

Awesome App / Device. This app and the device, together, inspire me every day! I have long struggled with my distance running, but Moov coaches me and improved my form / times. The sleep data and exercises are an added bonus, but just the fact that this thing makes me want to MOVe is what excites me most!

Doesn't Track Anymore! Pls fix!!. I'm about to stop using this tracker all together because it doesn't track. It's okay when I run and it is constantly attached to my phone via Bluetooth, but when it is not, it's completely inaccurate. Today, for example, I have been active for about 9 hours, walking my dogs, riding my bike, running errands, etc. I just linked my Moov Now with the app and it says I have only been active for 12 minutes. 12 minutes!! I did less yesterday and got at least 30 minutes (still highly inaccurate). I have done 3+ hour workouts and only get credit for 1 hour. Please fix this! It was working perfectly before all the updates to firmware and app, bring it back!

Excellent!. I would highly recommend this app and this watch. I've been using it since the start of the summer. The constant encouragement and reminders during workouts have helped me maintain a workout regime that I never have in the past. I usually get burned out or bored, but there are so many options and the feedback had helped me so much. I love this app and am planning to purchase a second watch just to do the boxing workout.

Awesome app and hardware to motivate workout. The app and the hardware work pretty good, but I have two suggestions: 1. Add work out modes that coach both use data from Now and HR. 2. Other apps like Mapmyfitness and Strava can set goals and plans. It would be great if Moov and load these daily goals and plans, coach based on them, and sync with these apps

Able to run more than ever!. I love Moov. I originally got it for the boxing app. Something to do indoors, so I didn't have to go all the way to the gym, stay in for the cold season, and not worry about what time the gym closed. The boxing app was awesome. I love it. And it's really an effective and fun exercise as advertised. What surprised me was that I actually use this for running a lot as well. I hated running. I can't pace my self, so the most I could run used to be 30min on a treadmill. But when I gave this a shot, I just kept running and running. More than a hour. The app paved me well, and helped me accomplish more than I ever thought. I would definitely recommend this to my close friends. Looking forward to accomplishing more with this!

Dec 2015 update is buggy. Overall, the app ok but could be so much better. I'd pay easily $2.99 if the app was 100% done & all polished up (in addition of other exercises/sports). The calorie counter is not accurate & added about 2,000 calories to past & present data. The sound effects in cardio boxing is still not working (not a big deal). The sleep data is buggy & must manual enter times of sleep 70% of the time. For a $40 exercise coach & sleep tracker, I'm giving it an overall 3.5 of 5 stars. Trackers should be at least 90% accurate to be a valuable feedback tool. I bought 3 sets for gifts to family & friends so please do not let me down Moov. Please continue your development with a more accurate firmware & algorithm.

Current version very buggy. I've been using the move for almost a year now. It worked beautifully for a long time. Now, for the last 2 months, I've had issues syncing the swimming data, and for the last few days, the app seems to reset. I open the app, and it doesn't have any of my daily tracking. I have to re-pair my Moov about once a day like it's new. I've contacted customer service and never gotten a specific response to the issues. Seems to be getting worse instead of better which is disappointing, since I originally really liked this app and device. It's not quite bothersome enough for me to stop using it, but any more issues, and I'm moving on to something else.

Almost Great. It keeps getting better but PLEASE add an option to turn off the music while using the app. Sometimes I want to listen to my own music while boxing or a podcast or even a phone call but I can't with the in-app music. Thanks Also fix the activity sync to it shows up on apple's native activity app please.

Good But Can Be Better. Liking the app so far but please incorporate some stretching advice. Also need offline biking, elliptical, etc (i.e. Gym). I do the bike at the gym and it doesn't let me put in my mileage. Also for the app being over 100mb I was expecting some higher quality verbal TTY. Your video ads show a very intuitive girl talking. If Waze (different type of app but good example) can incorporate custom audio, I'm sure you guys can as well. Also doesn't take advantage of Apple Watch's Heart rate monitor and is requiring me to us my other monitor.

Keeps losing connection. Moov typically disconnects 8-10 times during my runs, so I typically have to tap it on my ankle every few minutes. Sometimes it disconnects and tells me it has to stop the current interval. Last run after 35 minutes, I hit end workout and it told me it didn't have enough data and ending the workout would delete the workout, I had to end the workout so all data from that workout was lost. Also, this app integrates with heart rate monitors but not the Apple Watch heart rate monitor.

Well worth it!. I love my Moov device and the app. I use it for the running metrics mainly to increase my cadence. It provides verbal and visual feedback during the run on my headphones and phone. The app calculates other key metrics as well for later viewing. It was all the more upsetting when I lost the Moov core when it slipped out of the ankle strap at the end of a run. I contacted the support team and heard back quickly with an offer for a steeply discounted replacement core with the improved ankle band. Well worth it.

The boxing is great!. I love the boxing part of the workout :) It's like playing DDR. Instead of dancing your boxing. I'm a beginner and this is great for beginners. it shows you the types of punches and with give you a series of different punches to do and it gets faster after the first stage. The only problems i have is the bluetooth connection is a little off and i wish you had the option to turn off the coach for boxing and instead listen to your own music. Also it would be cool if you can make your own combination of punches before hand and choose how fast or slow you go.

Directions are crap!. I spent the last hour trying to figure out how to connect this thing. First they make it sound like you need the MOOV HR Burn app which does not exist. Then the directions say to click on the device to connect the Bluetooth. So I'm sitting here with the device and there is nothing to click and it is not connecting. Apparently you need to put the device on. Why can't they put that somewhere on the directions! You would think after selling a couple of million of these things they would get a clue. Update. I just got a response to my review over a month later! Great customer service.

Love it. Just add more routines and sports please. Moov is awesome. I use it twice a week for the 7 minute + and boxing exercise. Once or twice a month I use it for running to check my impact score. Overall a great app. Please add more routines, levels and sports. Great job guys!

Small disappointment. Syncing is very easy! The app itself is simple to use. But there are a few things missing: For me, I was hoping to use Moov Now to track my sleep. But this app could only recognize ONE sleep in 24 hours. If I sleep for 4 hours, get up, then sleep for another 3 hours, the app only counts one 4-hour sleep and ignores the other one. This throws off the average sleep calculation too. Customization is almost non existent. The app sets 30 minutes active time as a daily goal. Where did they even come up with this number? And why can not users set up their own goal? Looking forward to next update.

Listen up warriors. The ability to get real time feedback should be important for any athletes or weekend warriors looking to improve their workouts. Since receiving my Moov Now back in November I have incorporated the use of this device in my running, biking and swimming workouts. It has been a great help and motivator in my recovery from an Achilles surgery. I also enjoy the combination of the boxing with the 7+ minute as a cross trainer in giving me a full body workout. The device easily syncs with ones iphone and ipad to get one quickly started with their workout.

Wife and I Both Very Happy. We've been using our Moovs now for a couple of weeks and are both impressed with it. I like the form factor and the two different straps for wrist or ankle. I've been playing around with all of the different workout programs and am pretty impressed with them. They're pretty robust. What I would like to see is better compatibility with the Health App. I can't understand how Moov can't write sleep data. Also, while I like all of the data that is available to me during and after various workouts, the coaching can be a little long winded and I would love an options to turn things on or off, or even select what data I hear feedback on. Thanks!

Moov does what it says! (and so does their support!). I have been using Moov for about a year now and it's ability to remind and coach you through slow spots in your workout is invaluable! The fact that they've added export to Strava a welcome addition and added indoor cycling, not to mention the support (and the support team) has been 2nd to none! Alway prompt, informative and extremely helpful in their replies. Thank You. I would highly recommend this product and look forward to more updates.

Ehhh. PLEASE READ MOOV TEAM the app and tracker is good. But there is so much you need to add. First, just add the a step metric in the app. The MOOV device is more than capable of tracking steps so add that! Next, also add custom runs. So if I want to run a 8 minute mile, it will coach me on cadence and stuff for that time. Also! Please add sprinting! If I want to track a 100m sprint, it should recognize my movement and give me detailed feedback on sprinting, not just put it in my active minutes. PLEASE READ. THANK YOU

Challenging me more every day. I really enjoy the increasing challenge levels. My body notices the difference. MOOV holds me accountable for not slowing down which improves my cardio workout as well. I'd love to see other exercises in the same group so I can alternate my challenges occasionally (e.g. Another 10 minute workout to choose from and build in). Regardless, I'll keep switching between 10 minute, boxing, and running when I can get outdoors.

Love my moov!. I was a first generation moov user and when the moov now came out, I scooped that one up too. I have only used the 7 min+ and the run applications, and I use it for a daily activity/sleep tracker. I do wish that they would figure it the yoga and put a clock on it so I don't have to wear it next to my watch, but it's not the end of the world to me. But the best part of moov is the customer service. They are prompt and helpful in their responses and even sent me a new tool to change the battery when I accidentally threw mine out! Highly recommend!

Work in progress. I would like to see the heart rate monitor work with all app features for cycling, swimming, and boxing. The GPS tracking option is quit draining on my phone and more often than not I won't use it, I wish it had an internal GPS tracking in the wrist module. There are is a lot of raw potential here with the app and moov. I don't care about steps which is why I bought the moov. I do care about target heart rate and I thought the moov would offer that but as of now they don't.

Great Start for a brand new product!. I refuse to get an Apple Watch for the mere fact I have an iPhone that can do the same. Ive tried fitbits, pebble but this product kicked it out of the water. Absolutely love the voice guided training, especially for someone who is just starting with more intense cardio routines. It's great support for when that little bit of knowledge is needed like proper range of motion when running. I think as more experience is gained from my end the voice guidance should be allowed to be reduced or even turned off, although for now I welcome it. Also eagerly awaiting the indoor spinning app since It's where most of my cardio is concentrated. Until then I'm rating this 4 stars. A great beginning for a wider range of possibilities. Excited to see what's next!
