It'd be a great app if the tracker actually worked. The gps updated twice over 10 hours. Totally worthless. I could get the same bad info with the free app. I can't believe Apple let's them charge $10 for something that doesn't work at all. Save your money.
Doesn't work. Junk app
The tracker would show the athlete at the starting point for over and hour and the as the athlete was crossing the finish line all of a sudden it would show it updated to the finish line. The last leg for the athlete that was running, it didn't even track him! The BIGGEST waste of money EVER!!!!
They tell you to upgrade to get better features but still give you nothing $10 later. Useless app.
With the money ironman makes it seems like they could make an app and have equipment along the track to accurately track the athletes. This app is crap and not worth the money. The free one is also worthless.
My son sent me this app so I could track his progress during the Woodlands Tx Ironman race. At race time I tried to use it. The screen locked up in all white and the next day it notified me that a race started in Peru. It's not that hard to use so no I did not ask for a race in peru by mistake. I am not sure what happened. Perhaps the server chocked on the volume. All I know is I paid $10 for one purpose to track progress in a single race and the app failed to deliver
Did not work well for The Woodlands Ironman. Only updated about every 90 minutes. Did not track athletes. Would never recommend this app!!! Would not give it one star if that were possible!!!
I paid $10 not $1 or $3 or $5, but $10 for an app that does nothing! I got it to track my brother in his first Iron Man in Peru. And I did not get a single update. I got more updates from my brother's girlfriend every other hour. Don't waste your money. They charge a fortune to even participate and they charge the highest price for an app. Scammers.
This helped tacked my athlete. There was a delay on some runner data and notifications. This may have not been the apps fault as it can only communicate the data it has access to. Frustrating, but not an overall failure if the app. The map was ok, but it would be nice to have mile markers and route info. The athlete prediction was a nice map feature, but lacked due to delayed updated data. Good software has s cost. It's worth $10. But I would not pay any more for it.
All of the good reviews for this app are fake. Save your money for something that actually works.
