Very good app. It's robust and just needs to be refreshed more quickly.

Signed out repeatedly.. I have a subscription, but every time I want to read an article, it invites me to subscribe. So I log out and close the app. Then I try signing back in and get the same thing. Ready to just delete the app. Not worth the hassle.

What happened to my El Paso Times eNewspaper app?. I lost the app on my iPad so I went to restore it in the Apple App Store. The old app is gone the new one is awful. I can’t get the full page of the paper to fit the page it keeps bouncing to two pages or one page and index. I hate it. I’ve tried setting, nothing works. I want the old app back.

Crap junk USA Today. App now want to charge $5.99/month to read news. Only get a few paragraphs. No thanks by sorry loser liberals.

Needs Work. When this app has not been opened for some time, there is no way to refresh content. I just used it for the first time in several months and it is still displaying old, stale news, from October even though it’s now 25 December.

Where’s the fresh content?. My father was a subscriber of the EP Times for more than 20 years. Through those years we saw this publication transform from one that offered good, insightful content to one that simply does enough to put something out there now. The print version now seems more condensed than anything as it is anywhere between 8-10 pages. The digital version really needs to start updating their material as I was seeing stories there from two years ago! The only way to know nowadays if there is a new story to be read is through their social media site. Really having to dig for articles in this app rather than opening the app, having them pop up is starting to become a pain 😩😭🤯😡

Review. Always up-to-date with their news coverage, local and otherwise. Easy to navigate, as well.

App Forces Ads on you. This app brings up a page to subscribe every time I use it, which is daily. Better apps do not do this. I am already signed in and have an active subscription.

Hometown News. I really enjoy reading what's going on back home, when I was in El Paso I bought the paper every morning and read it front to back before going into work. I miss the paper version but I'm happy to get my news online until I get back home. Thank you!

Great updates, easy, modern format. This is the perfect app for millennials like myself who always have our phones. I like to be current on the news around the city, but don’t like to kill trees so this is perfect. The stories are very clear, the app keeps you updated on top stories you missed, and it is the cheapest of all my subscriptions. This is a must.

Great way to keep up with the latest news,. Even before it appears in the print edition.

Disappointing App. Very slow and unreliable to update. Crashes from time to time (possibly from certain ads?). Generally a very disappointing news app. The content is also very poorly written with terrible grammar and substandard editing. Eg. Neither staff nor editors know the difference between exorbitant and exuberant. It could almost be a game to sift through the articles to see how many 2nd grade mistakes you can find on a daily basis except that it's depressing when you consider that this is the primary local newspaper for El Paso. The absolute last thing I read when I'm bored.

Ad Fest. ridiculous amount of ads. Very difficult to even tell what the real content is vs ads. Paid subscriptions should NOT be bombarded with slick ads blended in with the news content.

Horrible, and frustrating. I try to use the app to keep up with my local news. And users are limited as to how many articles they can read a month. But I’ve found that once I go over that number if I try to open additional articles it counts against my next months total. I believe I had a 3 month period where I wasn’t able to open any articles.

Bias. Pro liberals within a Catholic community- media has poised to brainwash its citizens of El Paso. One side view media. Not balance . Shameful

The best app.... For to the point and trustworthy news.

Ch-ch-ch-changes. I preferred the app when it showed the e-edition instead of the current format. You could choose the page of the paper you wanted to read (funnies, obits, what have you). Now, I have to go through contortions trying to get to the part of the paper I’m interested in.

Crashes. Closes while reading articles.

Home. Reading the paper is as if I was still in El Paso. I live in San Diego but I’m from, my hometown is and will always be El Paso, TX.

Future. Sorry to see the printed news fading into nonexistent but this is the future of news reporting. The app is sufficient for now but can't imagine what it will look like in the future? Holograms?

Horrible App. Horrible App. Does not recognize my subscription and some news was out of date. Customer service nearly incoherent.

A bunch of crap. This app is a rip off charged me for the subscription but everytime i try to open a article states for subscribers only even though I’m signed in don’t waste your money on this crap

Keeps closing. Really loved the app but now can’t use it. Every time I open the app it automatically closes after a few seconds.

Difficult to change payment method. Had to change my credit card information. Unable to do so through the app.

Stop trying to charge me for my local news. Excellent

El Paso Times. As superficial as a USAToday-crafted article can seem at times, a concise approach to the news of the day can be a real benefit. When you can learn the meat of a story in 300 words, it is often much better than having to dissect it out of 1200 words. The Times is part of the USAToday group. Depth occurs rarely, and generally in Sunday editions, with stories of import. Daily, its a quick but insightful read, and the ONLY place in El Paso to give you anything like a comprehensive treatment of the local scene. National and International news (esp. Juarez) could and SHOULD be emphasized more, but that’s where Newsweek comes in. I do miss the kind of depth I could find in Chicago or Atlanta, but this is a totally different market, trying to maintain it’s only daily. If you want, and need, to know what’s happening in El Paso, the TIMES is where you have to be! Before you give up and say you’ll just watch TV news, give an intro subscription a test drive. To paraphrase the old Alka-Seltzer TV ad, Try it, you just might like it. I certainly do!

Very informative. I love the El Paso Times app! It's a great and easy way for me to stay on top of local news. They update their stories immediately which is very convenient!

Much Improved. I really enjoy having the El Paso Times App on my phone. It really has kept me up to date with everything and anything that is going on in El Paso.

App Keeps Crashing. I haven’t been able to use this app in months because it crashes upon launch every single time. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a numerous amount of times and I still get the same result. Please fix!

Doesn’t recognize prior subscription. App keeps telling me to subscribe even though I have an active subscription.

Bosh!. Title courtesy of all the British crime dramas that I’m binge watching. As to the review, I found the app totally useless. Just went in circles and never got any information.

Terrible new app. The new app is really bad.

Way too many ads. I am a paid subscriber and there’s no way to opt out of anything except alerts. In settings as well as the occasional tracking alerts, you cannot turn off any kind of data collection. It’s says “always” active with no way to disable if within the app. Even when reading stories it’s littered with ads. Not something a paying subscriber should have to go through.

EP news from afar. For the past few years I've experienced little to no issues, been a great method to keep in touch of EP news from afar.

Cannot access subscription material. After signing up and paying for the service the app will not let me view subscription articles. App says I am paid up until future date.
