Actually a very good tracker. I was honestly surprised of how simple and good this app is. Most trackers are bloated with useless features. This app gives the information you need in order to track and stay informed.

Accuracy. on point usually updates 15 minutes before the normal updates don’t even need to watch the news

Mildly informative, mostly useless. Perhaps I was spoiled by my previous hurricane tracking app which gave me comprehensive and accurate info for a decade (and was free, which is probably why it’s no longer supported), but this app will give alerts on active storms, but provides no detail whatsoever on them. Extremely frustrating. Do not purchase the upgrade. The upgraded version adds no additional info!

Living in Houston. I live in Houston and this app has been great to be able to see possible storms coming towards us, very simple but because it’s free there are annoying pop up ads but it’s still a great app, love it!

Even the free version is the best!. The ads aren't obnoxious and the functionality of the this app beats out everything else I've tried by leaps and bounds. I have a couple of their other (lightning and moon phase) apps which was what lead me to try it. I haven't needed support for any of their apps since install, no bugs that I've noticed. I'll probably upgrade to the"Pro" version of this app for the other features.

Please Download. I think everyone should have this app. It is a great tool. I currently live in North Carolina and even if we don't get a lot of hurricanes, we get tornadoes! I am currently worrying about Hurricane Dorian and this app helped me with previous hurricanes and tornados in my area. It's great. Trust me. Download it.

Good accurate information.. I been using this app for several years and it’s never misled me. It’s accurate and provides a wealth of information.

No Title. Ok So this app is great but this is a notification trap!!!! Plus the Weather is never accurate! Literally! There are people in this world who need one of these and you give them inaccurate weather? Also When you turn on notifications, YOU GET NOTIFICATIONS EVERY 5 A MINUTES!!!!!! Please make its so it’s like 1 notification every 2 hrs unless it’s super close to you. BTW I hope you have a nice day.

Best source of information during Hurricane Michael. This site has been the most informative for us during Hurricane Michael. Updates provided before, during, and after the storm allowed us to know where the hurricane was, it’s speed, it’s wind strength, and it’s projected path. The more information the better and this app was the best!

Free and simple. Easy to use, just the features you need. I hope this app will stay this way and no complicated features will be added.

Severe Weather Warnings and Watches. This is my first time using any app to access continental US severe weather warnings and watches in one place. I may seem excited, and I am a little bit giddy. It’s like getting a new toy. So bear with me as I extol the virtues of the app as a noob to weather stuff. This app is much easier to read (font size) than using an iPhone 6 web browser to view SPC, NOAA or NWS websites for first-hand info. I like being able to see the continental US radar view. I know little about forecasting, but I know enough to recognize that this app includes visual tools that forecasters use to discuss weather. It has it all—or almost all. I might need a different app for winter weather season. I don’t know enough about weather to know if I am missing out on satellite imagery showing my location in the Midwest. The app does give continental US and regional stills from Tropical Tidbits: wind, barometric pressure lines, and other nifty weather nerd graphics. Since I don’t do forecasting, stills are just fine, even if it would be cool to play around with model future progressions. I do get what I wanted, after all: current severe and life-threatening tornado warnings and watches with radar progression images. Maybe I’ll even become a hurricane weather enthusiast, too.

Review- App for Hurricanes & Typhoons. This is one of the best sites! The only other app site I use is for the actual news station here in Houston Texas. With my daughter in Hawaii, I think that I use this site more than the normal person would. Excellent tracking, more than normal information and sooo timely! RAS Houston Texas

Beautifully Simple. I download this app every year for hurricane season and it never loses its quality. Overall great app with a very friendly UI, and not too many overwhelming features which is nice considering every other app swarms you with useless features and prompts for in app purchases.

Follow up of systems. Love this app! I can follow up wherever the hurricanes are moving & live actualized info this gives me assurance of every move & prognosticators. It gives all positions & specific information that gives me peace to know. Need nothing else because it’s so accurate!!! & live!!

Great App, a Couple Suggestions. This app does its job well. Feature requests: 1. Add a preference to only see Atlantic storms or only see Pacific storms. Most people would not be affected by both. 2. Allow zooming/enlarging the NHC forecast map, three other model tracking map, and the satellite image.

Top Notch!. If you were interested in tracking hurricane activity this is the app to get. I find it to be very clear and intuitive and the data it uses is very accurate. NOAH and other apps are also available but this is the best one by far that I’ve used for quite some time. Don’t miss out on it.

Perfect. I love the fact that they use NOAA information and update you with the current storms. It is just perfect and allows you to also check tornadoes, past storms, and much more. I was trying to find an app like this and I am happy with the information provided. Good job!

iPad version not good. The iPhone version is pretty good but the iPad version falls short: the legend covers most the center of the map and the cone and models displays are hidden below the satellite map (there is no indication they are there unless you know to scroll down). Poor interface design there.

Loaded with Useful Information. I live in a hurricane prone area. The app provides several visual updates daily on a hurricane’s projected path as well as forecasts of potential storm development for the next five days. True weather buffs also have numerous tabs to tap for detailed scientific info about hurricanes occurring in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Great app.

Great Tracker!. I’ve had a heck of time trying to find a reliable hurricane tracker that quickly gives relevant information and isn’t considered a premium feature. (I mean, really? Tracking a hurricane is a “perk” and not a “completely necessary thing for my safety”?) The app is fairly bare bones, but it’s well designed and makes it easy to find current and historic data. I highly recommend giving it a download if you live in a hurricane zone!

Must Have App for Hurricanes/ Trop Storms. This is my go to apps for when Hurricanes and tropical storms hit. Getting notifications about updates on a storm is the best thing ever. It’s easy to click on a dot to see what the winds/gusts are. This app definitely makes it easier to help prep for a storm that is coming your way. If you live in a hurricane prone area, this app is a must have on your phone!

Amazing App. This app notifies me if a depression/ PTC Cyclone forms and allows me to track every storm by getting every update by the NHC. I love the app it’s amazing and there’s not really any bugs with it or any problems it’s a very nice app and very informative.

Clear, comprehensive forecasts and tracking paths.. Love being able to see concise storm movements and forecasts globally. Can keep up with storms approaching my location as well as friends’ worldwide. Specific information is easy to access and view.

Easy usefulness. This app gives great overview of all hurricanes in a very easy-to-use platform. Hurricanes AND tornadoes. I’ve had other Hurricane apps but this one is perfect for my non-professional use. Highly recommended.

Some inaccurate things. In the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season, I saw some hurricanes that were inaccurate in this app. Four for example. How did it go from a storm to a cyclone. It would weaken. The Depression of Four did not make impact in real life. Also there’s an invest 90L although it wasn’t real. Also there’s Depression Seven, I checked it was a storm. That should have been Franklin. Also you forgot PTC Ten. Also, where is Bret?

So useful!. Every time I use this app it is always telling me the exact information, I can know all the things that are going on with the weather in just a few seconds. I even know what’s happening with the weather before my family does.

Review. I like the app, but would really like to be able to move the info box away from the center. That way you can see more of the track.

Hope I’m not paying for this app. This app is nothing more than a SPAM SITE ! I get hijacked by ads that try and truck you to buy something if you select the wrong button ! I want to get rid of this piece of <>%€£¥£|#^^*

Go to hurricane tracking app. This little app has become my go to hurricane tracking app. I have and still do use other apps, but this one is by far my favorite. As far as I can tell it’s nothing more than a front end for publicly available data, but the interface is clean and the adds are subtle and non intrusive. All in all 5 stars, no question

Good app but why do my speakers stop when using?. Every time I start the app the music I have playing in the background stops. Why? Doesn’t happen with my other apps.

so great.. i am a young storm enthusiast. i live in florida, so i know everything there is to know about hurricanes and tornadoes. i downloaded this app shortly before the hurricane season that brought us hurricane irma, and it has helped me ever since. every season, i place this app on my main page on my phone and check in every day with the disturbances in the atlantic. looking forward to spending many years more tracking storms and staying safe as we safely make our way through the seasons.

Stormy weather. I just started using the app. The Trump news seems to be clotting the world weather news. At least I can find were the storms are going on via the app. Thanks.

The best storm app. I live in South Florida so for me is very important to have a practical and very precise hurricane app. Hurricanes App does that and more, like check hurricanes all over the world n tornado’s warning and has no ads.

Long timer. Hey I’ve been a subscriber for quite some tome and they’ve been doin a great job! I always keep eyes on the weather since I run a bar in Jacksonville beach and I’ve been let down before. Let down by national and even local news programs but this tracker service has been my go to. Highly recommended!

This is officially the best hurricane tracker on a phone!. I can’t even say anything! ITS JUST SOOOOOO AWESOME! EXACT stuff, alerts you when ever, very approximate. And it shows the way the format and how the storms are forming in different ways and how it forms in satélites and more just so awesome, it’s awesomely awesomitiously awesome! That’s not even a word lol.

Storms. I signed on to watch this last hurricane as my son and family life in Louisiana, it helped calm me as hit went west of him...so much nicer than having to catch the weather on the news. One finger tap and you see updates when you want

With helpful information such as model predictions and satellite imagery, I rate this app 5 stars and i’ll continue to use this app into the future regularly.

Hurricane bingo. Soooo... I think this is fun, but we made a hurricane bingo type thing at work because 2020 has already been ridiculous. I’m using this app to track hurricanes and it is sooo awesome. I’ve learned more about hurricanes since I’ve had it and wanted to learn even more!!! The satellite view is great and it has the models so you don’t have to wait for news coverage. Honestly an amazing app. Thank you!!! That is all

Too many notifications.. I would have given this 5 stars because it’s awesome with alerting you of storms and tornadoes... the only downside and the reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because I’ve gotten 40 notifications in the last 10 mins for the same two alerts. Tropical storm watch and hurricane watch. There only needs to be one alert for both, unless it extends or updates then send another one. But I’m telling you 22 alerts for Tropical storm watch at 6:15 is TOO much. Plus 17 alerts for Hurricane watch at 6:15. There only needs to be one alert for each. But its happened in the past for flood advisors and never stops. It just never stops. FIX THIS.

Maria 2017. Hurricane Maria was the most powerful hurricane to date. Because of this app. I was watching life from my home in the states. I believe their forecast and got of Puerto Rico. Their forecast was spot on. Amazing technology. Be safe and be smart and take warning. Property can be replaced.

Tracking. I love the app because i can track where and how far from my place the storm is.

hurricane IDA. i am living through hurricane ida as i type. woke to a cell blasting tornado warnings this morning BUT NOTHING FROM THIS APP— the ONLY tornado this app registers is from 15 hours ago & 1200 miles away. why have the option if it’s not going to help save lives by actually functioning?? VERY DISAPPOINTED! there have been at least 2 touchdowns in my county in the last hour, so i would expect SOME INFO at the least. this app is great for tracking hurricane progression, but DON’T BOTHER using it for more immediate emergencies!!! find something else!

Great app for early warning and preparedness but.... Please show the projected impact cone. Doing so will provide users with the most accurate information. For instance, a storm my have a projected path leading to Central Louisiana but it may also impact Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and even as far away as Tennessee. People living in areas within the cone need to know that they may also need to evacuate, not just those who live in the projected path of the eye; and people also need to be reassured when the storm poses no threat to them so that they don’t waste resources on an unnecessary evacuation. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Works but…. The information that is presented leaves a LOT to be desired. Show me the radar picture of the hurricane. Show me when and where landfall is predicted. There is so much more that this app could do. It does show a small icon on a map that represents the location of the hurricane, but not much more. Pretty useless. I will be deleting this app. I’ll just use any weather app from most any local TV stations for a more informative view of impending hurricanes.

Pretty good app. I like the maps and projected forecasts. Very helpful. I would really like to see (maybe somewhere in the settings?) a spot that defines the difference between a Tropical storm, a depression and the different wind speeds for each category. I don’t memorize that information and it’d be nice to have a reference.

The best. I am pretty sure that since this gives a head start , it will definitely save lives. There is one thing I would like to be added. Can u put how big the hurricane or tornado is. But this is a great app! I used it for only 1 hour and I already love it!

I Love Watching the Storms!. I live on the Gulf Coast and I had been trying to use my regular weather apps (Accu Weather, tried The Weather Channel but don’t like that app at all) to follow storms headed for us and they were always lacking. Confusion over ocean names. We are located in Australia and we are surrounded 100% by water. To the west we have Indian Ocean and to the east of Australia all the way from Papua New Guinea down to Tasmania we have the Pacific Ocean. This App confuses the oceans towards the North of Australia and labels everything "Indian" Ocean. This is incorrect. Maybe the people in the US of A should study geography a bit better. Also: Hurricanes in the Southern Hemisphere are called Cyclones.

Great App, missing Indian Ocean. Would give this 5-stars right now if they would provide coverage of the Indian Ocean. There are active tropical cyclones at the moment and there is no coverage on the App. Hoping to see this implemented sooner than later. It would also be great to have the App become more interactive with live links to webcams showing active hurricanes and tornadoes. Overall, solid little App.

Really well done. While tracking some hurricanes and storms, I wanted up to date information. This app provides easy to use info and clear projections of where the storms are moving. It has radar that is also very cool. Better than other apps.

Awesome. Might have a few errors but it tells you all of the storms that are coming and what ocean they are in and the location of them . I recommend downloading it

Graphics. Too large as they cover up the images. Make them less evasive.

Great track accuracy, great app in general. I am from the Tampa Bay Area and I like to study tropical systems that come close to here though it is unlikely for a hurricane to make direct landfall where I live

Not current. The app is slow to update the cones and position. When tracking an incoming storm, I want to see the latest, and don’t need to mess with the app to get the latest.

Question. I’ve heard that the European model is one of the most accurate. Which color line represents the European model in the app? When I research weather models I only find ECMWF as the model designation for the European model.

When you need to know. Hi This is my go to app when you need to know what’s coming. It’s fast and easy to use.

Love it but 1 issue. So I got this app and am happy with it but I turned on my tornado notifications and it won’t notify me any tornado notifications

Free and with analyst input. Title says it all. Others charge $$ and don’t give half the information this app gives. Using the app 2 years now.

App is lacking. I had a great hurricane app that I paid for that stopped service after a decade. This app was suggested as a replacement for that app. This app is bare bones garbage that gives little to no information and has a horrible layout. Why would I pay for the pro version when the free version isn’t worth the bits it takes up?

The other storms. The National media doesn’t always cover all the big storms, this app does: mostly northern hemisphere, Atlantic & Pacific Oceans. If the app gave projected dates & times where the storm would likely be tonight, tomorrow, & in 2 days, I would give it 5stars

Scam. Don’t get this app I live in Florida and I wanted to track the hurricane that was coming as soon as you download this app it links your area and then it deactivates all the hurricanes and updates in your area. Obviously this app isn’t free and if you want to find out what hurricane is gonna hit your area you have to pay them

Please read this game needs work. I like this app but some hurricanes are not accurate like hurricane Alex It said was a category 1 hurricane but is was a category 2 hurricane. also can you add categories and wind speeds for tornados.

Do Not Buy This App!. I did, and then clicked on a pop-up option to receive weather alerts in my Inbox. In doing so, I unknowingly installed a new Inbox that immediately filled up with spam. After I finally figured how to delete it, I deleted the app too - bad app. PS - I never before felt the need to write a review in nine years - this time was different.

Great app to keep track of storms. Used this app for Dorian 2019 app was constantly giving me updates on everything that was happening.

Hurricane Tracker. An extremely useful and information app. We use it primarily during Hurricane season to track active storms and make decisions regarding preparations.

Tracking is easy. I love how you can follow the storm daily and see where the path is forecast to go. It’s also nice to see how far the storm is from me as it moves.

Nothing Spectacular. Data is from the NWS, chasers, and similar sources. Tornado details are never updated after the initial report which is vague. Data is scrubbed from viewing after 24 hours or so.

Terrible if you want to see Tornado info. I bought the pro version as I wanted earnings for Tornadoes, not necessarily worried about Hurricanes in Tennessee. We just received three different warnings for tornadoes in my area and none of those are showing in the app. In fact the whole section on Tornadoes is blank. Clearly it’s wrong. It looks like a great app for Hurricanes tho. How do I get my money back ?

False Warnings. I keep getting alerts of tornado watches in effect for my area (NW NJ), but upon opening the app find the alerts are for Kansas. I haven’t been able to find a setting that uses my location to limit the alert to only those that are relevant to me.

Needs to refresh automatically. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is you have to close/reopen to get it to refresh to get current info.

Great. Very accurate and up to date. Very helpful during Hurricane season living in the southeast part of the states.

Best app for living on the coast. I live on the coast of North Carolina. Traditional weather apps are not helpful when you’re trying to follow a developing hurricane. This app is great for giving me the info I need. Love it!

Hurricanes near me. I love this app because I want to become a meteorologist when I grow up so this is a great way for me to learn my weather and weather for other places
