Great game, but never gives out gems!. I’ve been playing a VERY long time. I’ve accumulated many, many coins, but can NEVER get a substantial amount of gems to move on. I’ve stupidly spent my own money in order to advance to the next level. I’ve played the casino which doles out TONS of coins, but it’s been at least 4 months since I’ve won ANY gems. I’ve done anything I can to win gems (except download extra apps...which NEVER works for me), but it’s pointless. I’m tired of being stuck on the same level because I need 100 gems to enter a new level and I only have 81. I’m even writing a review in order to get the 2 gems I’m promised! (WooHoo! I’ll have a total of 83 gems after this!) Ridiculous. MAKE IT EASIER TO WIN MORE GEMS!!!!! My hard-earned money will go to a better game...one that doesn’t take me 6 months to advance to a new level!

Ruined this game. This used to be one of my favorite games. Now you have to buy crystals to: continue to play it, buy upgrades, unlock every level and the levels are not passable at a certain point without purchasing multiple upgrades and game assists (energy, cookies, extra customers, cleaners). The upgrades are extremely expensive. Once you unlock a new level for more than a hundred crystals (my last unlock was *160* for one level), you lose every upgrade you already purchased with crystals for each prior level. You seriously would have to spend hundreds of dollars for this game to be playable, forget enjoyable. The game is a lot fun when you first begin playing but it doesn’t stay that way. Also, you now get 5 lives and a half hour to regain each life. You also get the option of spending however much of your life you want to waste in a casino. Which gives coins somewhat often and don’t help with game progress since crystals are required for more than 1 upgrade.

Can't keep money earned when level is failed. I've played a few other games that are similar to this. I'm able to manage without using too many gems. My main complaint that I want to see fixed is to keep the money earned when you fail a level for any reason (i.e. not enough money made, lose too many customers, too many angry customers, too many products out of stock, etc.). If I can keep the money earned, I would have accumulated at least 35,000 coins at the point of writing this review. That could be 35,000 more coins I could spend in the casino to spin for more gems. More gems=more upgrades.

Over priced upgrades. Fun game, but I will eventually stop playing without ever spending a dime. They have these upgrades that you need in order to complete the levels, that are basically $4 each and there are 10 of them, $7.50, $15 and you have to buy them every 15-20 levels and the price keeps going up. If those high priced items moved through the levels with you, and the lower priced 5-10 crystals items didn't keep going up in price every level, I probably would spend money on this game. However at these upgrade rates it would cost $100's in order to play through the levels. Also, the casino is a joke, 600+ spins not one crystal. They could probably make a lot more money by implementing some changes but not willing to spend $40 every 17 levels. No business sense, instead of having 100 people spending $20 a week they could have 1,000 spending $4 a week.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. Warning: it is literally impossible to complete a unit without purchased additional items or tools. The amount of your own extra cash increases with the difficulty level. I’m also writing to warn you that this game/company does not always honor purchases, and grants Absolutely No Grace for human error. I’ve played this game for 2 to 3 years, but I am now permanently deleting it from my device. Their Customer Service has proven to provide no service, and denies any relief. Example: I’ve purchased bundles of items or tools costing $5-$20. The $5 bundles are usually accurately delivered, but the $10-$20 bundles frequently do not deliver all items, and sometimes nothing is delivered. Customer service replies include send screen shots, provide receipts, etc, however, you still cannot prove you did/didn’t receive what you purchased. Example: Human error. I accidentally touched the wrong place on the screen, causing the loss of over half of my earnings. Upon complaint, the reply was basically “Too Bad, Your Fault”. I sent screenshots of the results of the accident, and proof I hadn’t played the game since the error, thereby showing that the unwanted Upgrade Purchase had not been used. Every Other game I play grants grace for occasional errors. This company doesn’t trust customers, which is a toxic working environment. I hope you take this review to heart. I rarely review, and have never written one like this.

My review. The only thing I would change is that crystals/diamonds should not be so hard to earn. I get it. People have to make money and you have to pay a lot of it to make it on this game. I understand but, times have gotten hard and playing these games are a way to escape for a little bit. I love playing SuperMarket Mania. This is the 3rd time I have downloaded this app. I hate to say that I will probably have to delete this app again until times improve. Right now I play levels I have already beaten, to get enough coins to try my luck at the lottery machine for crystals. That lottery machine rarely gives crystals/diamonds. You download the game you may win crystals on the lottery machine that day. After that...good luck With all that said, it is a wonderful game!!

Upgrades WAY too expensive!. UPDATE: I have now removed this game from my device. You CANNOT play it w/o spending a lot of money - and I mean A LOT! You are forced to have crystals to move onto the next level. Here’s some math - if you wanted to fully upgrade just ONE level on this game (because upgrades do NOT carry over to the next level), it would cost you $200. That’s right! Good luck with that. I’m DONE! It isn’t worth downloading unless you’re willing to dish out $$$ for NECESSARY upgrades. Greedy. I agree with the other reviewer - the developers would actually make more $$$ if they lowered the cost because a lot more people would actually buy the crystals. I’m deleting this app, which is a shame. I loved it on my PC (which was a one time purchase through BigFish (and no pay as you go upgrades). Sick of greediness.

Fun & addictive but frustrating:-/. Really fun and addicting game. A bit annoying that you have to play a level 4 times to get a "gold" score as its not based on points like other games. I think the casino is rigged because I used to play it all the time to get much needed gems - you basically NEED them to buy upgrades/powerups to get through higher levels - but for the last day I haven't won any gems and I've played at least a few hundred times and have only won coins. Unfortunately coins only help you out with the first upgrades on a food/device/etc. or playing in the casino ☹️ The event is fun but you only get so many butterflies and you have to clear all levels with them until more are revealed and the rest are behind a locked store gate that I need 100 gems to access 😩 I'm not a fan of games that require you paying real money to win, I didn't think this one was like that at first as I'm in the 9th store, but since I can't win without gems for upgrades/powerups and the casino isn't giving me any gems I think buying them is the only option. I also dislike that after you lose you can "buy" back a list customer or pay off a failed goal with 8 gems... If you don't you lose a life and have to start all over 😣 Sadly I will be deleting this game soon if I cannot win some more gems because I'm sick of playing the same levels over and over only to lose because I didn't make enough money or because I lost an impatient customer and don't have the gems to buy more customers.

Good. This game is addictive, however it's really difficult to get 3 stars in every level. You must keep trying over. Also, when they introduce a new person they never use them frequently ever again. So, you may not practice. Last, they do not explain very well about how to do stuff such as make a milkshake. They will show you once and that's it. This game has many flaws yet is sooo addicting as I mentioned before. Some ways this game is amazing is first, it helps out a lot that your main character speeds around your shop. Second, you can get a cashier that makes it sooo much easier and enjoyable. Every level they add something new that is so fun and fits perfectly with the game. As I said before though they add something however you never do it again. And last, I love how your always can be doing something. You never just have your character sit in one place unless they are waiting for someone to finish shopping so you can restock, even then your doing something. Those are the flaws and great thing about this game

I’ve been playing this since I was a child!. I love this game so much! It gives me nostalgia! I use to ALWAYS play Virtual City Playground on my moms old Kindle Fire, and it gives you rewards for sharing on Facebook! So I started sharing on my moms Facebook. I was about 8-9 years old. She found out about it haha then she told me that - the people from the game and the online community for that game loved what I was doing. And I love that memory of playing G5 games! I’ve played so many I can’t remember how many! Now that I’m an adult it’s such a great game and memories from this! I recommend this game!

Fun but money hungry. I originally loved this game as it’s a wonderful fast-paced time management type. I enjoyed the difficulty and the slot machine used to obtain jewels to advance to higher levels. But eventually the game becomes more difficult and will only allow you to advance by purchasing jewels. These aren’t $.99 purchases, they’re $9.99 + just for one level. And even for the extra credit (purple) levels. The slot machine also stops paying out jewels so you have to use actual currency. I’m deleting the game. I encourage the developers to look at these reviews, many of which share the same sentiments. I’d be willing to spend a few bucks here and there if it got me a couple more levels but you’re greediness is quite off-putting. I will be deleting now so I don’t spend $ on your game.

So disappointing. Such a great game but absolutely impossible to advance without buying crystals with real money.. fix the game and you will have plenty of people play and you will still make money from it. For example. In the second market, the garden market, it is 50 crystals to purchase the security guard. I have 18 and no way of getting any more unless I PAY real money for crystals. Which is not happening. You cannot have 4 people leave the store on the level I am on but there are FIVE thieves that come in and without a security guard, I cannot do anything about them. It counts them as a customer leaving when they leave but again…. I CANNOT CONTROL THAT. You can only stop the thieves if you have the security guard. Broken game. So sad.

Impossible to win without in app purchases. It’s a fun game, but it doesn’t seem possible to win unless you spend actually real money to buy upgrades. There isn’t an option to watch videos to get free crystals. You get crystals by winning but you can’t win without upgrades and you can’t upgrade without crystals. Even if you do buy the cashier, etc you will have to buy her again in the next level, purchases don’t transfer from level to level, it’s very frustrating. Some levels I’ve completed perfectly but still don’t win because I didn’t earn enough coins but can’t get more coins unless I upgrade the food items or buy a gum ball machine which all costs crystals which I can’t get unless I win and I can’t win unless I upgrade and I can’t upgrade without crystals... yes it’s a circle. I would like the makers to add an option to watch videos to get crystals or make it possible to win with the resources you have. It’s highly frustrating when you complete a level perfectly and still don’t win and there’s absolutely nothing you could do better except throw away real money to buy crystals and even when you do it doesn’t transfer through the whole game😡. I may actually buy some crystals for upgrades if I knew things would transfer, things like the cashier, police officer, gum ball machine should transfer over when you buy them, or don’t make them impossible to get.

Too easy. This game has potential but I don’t think it’s balanced correctly. I played through the majority of the first city and there were so many times where I was literally just sitting there doing nothing while waiting for the customers to shop. Let me put it this way... I could restock several shelves and clean all the floors in the time it takes for grandma to walk to the checkout stand. The character player is just too OP compared to the customers. Literally the only reason I would lose a level would be if I fell asleep while waiting for the customers to shop. I assume at some point it must get more challenging but I played for a whole afternoon and hadn’t reached that point yet so I don’t think I’ll play anymore.

Unfair Purchases. The game is okay. Can get kind of boring as when you repeat levels it doesn’t seem to get that much more challenging, but you must do this in order to earn diamonds. It’s also annoying that you have to use diamonds for things like the cashier and camera after you enter through a new area (go through the fence) but I get why they do it. The big issue for me is the fact that they have bonus levels which are usually like 3-4 pretty challenging levels in the game. You can upgrade your shop here like you can in other level, however, the upgrades you make here are only for these levels. So I spend 100 diamonds on the cashier and was only able to use her for the remaining two levels I had on the bonus round which I think is completely ridiculous. I reached out to support thinking it was an error when I didn’t see the cashier anymore, but the confirmed that they charge you full price for upgrades that you don’t get to use for the rest of the section and of course this is not specified in the game. Needless to say I won’t be spending anymore money in this game.

Diamonds. Great game! However, why are your diamonds so costly and you only receive a small amount. You guys should reconsider the price and amount...it will take a player forever to upgrade and get a cashier just by playing without paying for the diamonds. The smallest package is$1.99 for 15 diamonds. Seriously. That’s highway robbery. A lot of people said they would play if it wasn’t for that and the way you have it set up to get friends. No one knows anybody’s game name on here how would they. But yet your constantly asking us to add friends. Other than this I like the game. Please for a value player, fix these issues and we will give you more playtime and better ratings. P.S. You could do something like 35 diamonds for $.99 think about how many times THAT button will be pushed you will double your money in no time.

Time Mgmt is back!. I was deeply disappointed when the game changed to match 3, as were so many others. I didn’t delete the app on the off chance that the change would be reverted. I’m used to disappointment from G5 but I have to commend them for separating the match 3 and restoring initial progress in the game with this latest update! As players, we couldn’t ask for more! I’m absolutely thrilled with this update and hope to see more positive things from G5 in the future (please go back to the original picture style in SSHM, the last several scenes are overly difficult and not fun). Again, many thanks G5!!!!!!!!

Big Fan !!. Hi I am Christina and I am a big fan of your games but think you should make more games like this and also you know how you add your birthday and the kid is to young you should add the kids a That are you let them be a group like what I trying to say is that you should let the little kids talk together but make ok or the teens go together also make more cooking games you know have for act and more people you know what I mean maybe like a lot of cool games and add it one and call it fun box which a cool wallpaper in front add all the things you can think of and I will keep writing you back for more ideas but if you do not agree it's ok I mean I am only ten and do not understand technology as much as you but yea bye .

More diversity needed. Taking the time to leave a review so that I can get diamonds without paying for it. Actually I should have without the incentive. One star off: It would be great if the racial identity of the main character could be chosen and if the customers could be more diverse in terms of disabilities and racial identity. Challenges could still be done and actually be realistic. For example, an obstacle in front of a wheelchair user and it needs to be cleaned up. I just think it would be nice if it reflected my reality a bit more. I mean the characters aren’t aliens or some other fantastical creatures shopping. One star back on: For not making the criminal characters fall into common U.S. racial stereotypes. One star off: Get ready to pony up some cash if you want diamonds. There really isn’t an easy way to earn them through play. I like the graphics, the slot machine for bonuses, and the level of difficulty. I hate when a game is frustrating because I play them to de-stress and not to be stressed. Hope to see some positive changes in the near future.

Sad 😢. Cannot believe I am writing this bc I cant stand when ppl say this bc it’s usually not so dramatic but this is one of the times it’s unfortunately true! It makes me feel awful to give it such a low rating! It’s a fun game I have loved for years! Time mngmnt games have always been my fav! Most aspects of the game are great! BUT The issue I have is a pretty big one! Each section of levels starts the upgrade process all over again! Therefore, u have to earn enough coins/gems for them each “round”. The issue is the items costing gems, are 75 gems EACH! That is ludacris bc if u buy an item, u do not get to use it in the next “area”! There are quite a few great games that do not lead u into a certain amount of levels before making it almost impossible to continue further w/out spending real $! So while I understand/empathize with the need to make money & how business works, I also comprehend not having or refusing to spend money on a game continuously bc u are FORCED to! I would honestly probably buy diamonds if not for the fact that I would feel I’m being forced into it!! So while I was SO glad they made it “free” to play all levels, now it’s attempting to make u pay to continue anyway!! Plus, your lives run out..& it takes 25 minutes for each one to replenish!

Cash game. I played this game because I thought it was like the original game however I realized to actually enjoy the game and play levels comfortably you have to spend money any upgrades past 1 star needs gems to purchase. Not including that you need gems to get to the next level I normally wouldn’t mind that how ever it $10 for 90gems and they only give you one way to mainly get gems by playing levels and the casino game however you only get 9 gems per level with 16 levels for each section which is 144gems and to unlock each section you have to pay so the most recent section I unlocked is 90 gems so I really enjoyed the game before they charged you all this money to play I will not be playing the game anymore just want to warn all other players of game the information before they get addicted I spent over $100 and I only passed 5 sections so beware

Really fun & love the updates!. So, I used to play this game on my tablet all the time & it was really challenging… I do miss some of the older version but so far I am loving it with the new updates… I do feel like if you meet your goal it should automatically give you 1 diamond for each star you receive on the level because it’s really hard to get diamonds… that is the only complaint that I have! Also, I love that I am now able to play this game on my iPhone because my tablet is wonky & old & wont let me play it anymore. So far I am loving it as much as I used to I just wish it would give you 1 diamond for each star per each level so if you get 3 stars you should get 3 diamonds so you can get bonus items etc…

Fun game but a money grab. Good game until you get to higher levels and save your diamonds to buy cashier and upgrade only to find out those items do not travel to the next levels So you have to start back from the beginning to try to accrue more diamonds but they require so much. The casino is a typical slot machine that also takes all your money without giving up any diamonds. So there’s no sense in playing after level 34 because you will need a new vacuum which requires 75 diamonds or a cashier requires like 150 diamonds and it’s impossible to win the levels. Or you need to buy bonus customers. I will go back to candy crush that doesn’t force you to spend money. The makers of this game should take into account that during this pandemic and high unemployment rate they would should be making it easier to play for free. Other games are giving away free items. I’m very disappointed.

Enjoyable with 1 flaw. I enjoyed playing this game on the computer and now there’s a phone version I enjoy. This game is fun and addicting. I love time management games and how u progress each level. I would say the only flaw in this version is there should be more opportunities to earn diamonds if they’re going to be required to purchase upgrades. The upgrades are what is important bc they allow easier game play to win. These upgrades cost money and 5 diamonds or 40+ diamonds only. U only get 6 diamonds per level and that’s after playing that 1 level 5 times. Just to get 40 diamonds for 1 upgrade I would have to play 6or 7 levels 5 times for a total of 33 or 34 games just to have enough to purchase an upgrade. That’s crazy and unfair to the consumer. The developers should really revisit this portion of the game.

Items cost to much. The game would be fine if things didn’t cost so much but as most games go they want you to spend real money and it should not be that way with the way the world is today and Covid-19 taking more and more lives by the day people are out of work children are out of school( by force not by choice)a game should be the last things people are spending their money on but every last one of these games have In App purchased for a reason none of these games are free they’re designed to get you hooked on them then when you get hooked they want money from you for you to enjoy the game Heck I’m wring this review just so I can get free diamonds to play in this game but one thing about me When I do something I do it right but all I can say with these games play them until the bs starts then delete it out of your phone save the space for something else or another game that’s not taxing because this one sure is

BEWARE: Fun but COSTLY. This game is fun but it is SOOO COSTLY! Why are we paying coins AND crystals for things??? Why is it both? It should one or the other but because that is not the case, you’re basically stuck unless you spend actual money for more coins or crystals. The cashier and guard should remain throughout the game once you purchase them and why in the world is it 100 crystals to buy the cashier and then it goes up to like 175 crystals??? The guard goes from 39,000 to 40 something thousand. It’s RIDICULOUS!! Way too many items cost gems and you don’t earn enough coins to buy much of anything. The developers of this game are showing greed. Then the girl gets stuck running around the shop as if she’s cleaning the floor but she has nothing in her hand and the floor is clean therefore I end up losing the level, coins and crystals that were used at that time. I used to play this game years ago on my laptop and it was NEVER this costly!!!

Pretty good/ some flaws.... I rlly like the game but I jut have one problem; that is that it is rlly hard to make money in the game and to upgrade things and on top of that, you want to get things that require gems but there rlly aren’t many ways to obtain them so that is also an issue. On the other hand, I love this game bc its a good way to waste time and if you r looking for that type of game then this is the one for you. Another thing I love is how stupid this game is too, but what I hate abt it is how it EATS ur battery (which any game would do) and that’s just one thing I cannot handle, bc I don’t always have a charger at hand.

Fun, engaging but slow progress. Good game, it’s fun and engaging but it takes a while to progress to other things happening in the game. It’s like five levels back to back with the same exact shoppers and nothing exciting popping up, then one level…something new happens. Also all the upgrades require diamonds and the game doesn’t do a good job of providing them. I understand the developers want to make money but there should be little ways for players to earn diamonds without having to pay money for them all the time.

Fun, but they want money!. I like playing, but if you aren't spending money you can only play for so long before you run out of jewels. I also don't like that I spent 100 jewels to buy a lady to help at cash register and she was gone on the next level. When you upgrade you should be able to keep those upgrades like the security guard. Makes the game frustrating and not fun. I don't like when the developers are about the money. Some people like me just like the enjoyment of playing. After a while people will get tired of the gimmicks and delete the game! Their is always another game to play! No problems like these on Candy Crush!

Game is fun but becomes difficult to keep playing. First off I do enjoy this game very much , it’s quite addicting. So I got further in the game and purchased some more coins to get the security guard all well and good but of course the game has gotten more difficult which is normal. I can’t understand though why the little shopping baskets just randomly show up all over the floors after you just checked and there’s none. Maybe it’s people leaving but I feel I don’t even have a few seconds to actually see them and then clean them up . That’s what’s making it super hard to complete levels. I have spent some money on this game a few times now and trying so hard to beat the game but I feel defeated like I can’t beat the levels or game at all . I don’t know 😞

ANGRY AT UPDATE!!!. I originally purchased “Supermarket” game over a year ago and due to playing games and having played it many times, I removed it from my phone. Now, when I try to redownload my “previously PURCHASED !!SUPERMARKET!! game, I find it has been updated to “Supermarket” (a gem game which I DO NOT like playing!!!). I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! I don’t expect to buy a freakin Mac computer..take it in to an Apple store for an update and come home with a Windows OS computer!! This is not ACCEPTABLE!! I only rated this a 1 star because I had to in order to write the review. Ridiculous!!!! UPDATE: THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! It’s great to know that all of our voices were heard about the update taking away from the original time management game! You really pulled through and I will definitely continue playing and purchasing G5 games!! I have now changed my star rating to help your guys rating on the game!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun, but need lots of gems. It’s seriously fun to play. I recommend saving the gems/diamonds you retrieve from each level and when improving the levels. It’s easier to get the coins and just use what you can with the coins to upgrade items. The gems/diamonds are necessary to go pass the gate to get to the next store. One gate pass cost me 45 gems/diamonds while another cost me 75 gems/diamonds. On one level, I paid 75 gems/diamonds for a cashier, but the next gate pass to a new store said it would cost me 150 gems/diamonds to purchase a cashier. I forwent the cashier and struggled through. I’m honestly not sure I’ll be able to continue this game because of the necessary gems/diamonds for certain items. No one should be forced to make a purchase on a game to continue. Especially one that is just for passing the time. It should be a choice. I’ve given money to games before because I wanted to, not because I had to. During difficult levels, I just kept trying until I succeeded, but that’s not the case here. Developers, it would be nice if you had one set gems/diamonds fee for passing the gate. One that’s attainable. Allow other things to be a choice, not a necessity to continue this game. I recommend if you’re willing to SPEND REAL MONEY.

Good to see the original game back. At one point, the developer scrapped the whole time management portion of this game and made the game a match-3 game. I thought it was a joke or badly timed April fools joke or something but it remained that way for a long time and I had deleted the game. After checking recently and seeing that they wisely put the game back to what it originally was, I’m playing the game again and enjoying it. It’s been a while since I last played but it seems like everything costs more gems now. But it could have been that way before as well. Oh well Thanks for putting the game back the way it originally was!

Pay from Beginning. It’s a game I really enjoy but the money grab from the very beginning is off-putting. You can upgrade your displays only once before needing both money and diamonds for the very next upgrade. Including the diamonds given at the beginning and repeating levels you have 40 diamonds (the MINIMUM needed for either speeding cart refill or something to help with customer patience) after 3 levels. This may seem okay except going forward you can only earn a possible 6 diamonds per level (this includes repeating levels to earn those diamonds). This means you have to repeatedly play 7 more levels before having enough to buy something t9 help with customer patience. And to further upgrade displays costs money plus 5 diamonds. And the deals on the diamonds aren’t that great. Like $5 for 40, so $5 for things you’ll probably need to play on in the game. $5 a piece. I don’t believe I’ll bother playing much longer.

Update changed the ENTIRE format😡. I used to LOVE this game back when it was about time management tasks. I had been playing it for over a year on a fairly dedicated basis, and had even passed the hundred mark on levels when this last update completely changed the format of the game. Now it’s just yet another matching game much like the overrated candy crush, and that’s just not right. I used to love the challenge of having the main character run around attempting to keep all the shelves stocked while the customers shopped (and occasionally caused some mischief of their own). However, this new format has caused me to delete the game because it’s not the game I initially signed up for anymore, now it’s something completely different. Change it back in my opinion because the old way was much better.

Yes, Good But. While your stocking and waiting to checkout customers you have new ones coming in and getting mad and leaving because you don’t have enough baskets, even fruit after you upgrade. In the meantime you need to be a octopus to play this game. You have to much to do for one person to do in this store. Stocking produce, finding lost Child, restocking, waiting for customers to check out in order to get new customers their baskets. You also have to deal with deliveries, stocking machines and people dropping fruit and leaving baskets on the floor for customers to fall on and don’t forget the kid that skateboards through the store and you have to get the security guard to blow a whistle for them to stop. This game was designed with flaws that need to be corrected. You don’t have enough diamonds to get help, you can’t advance with so many things going on and counting against you.

Not worth it. I don’t like how I purchase a security guard for almost $40,000 and gone after a set of levels. I need the cashier but I am not going to purchase 100gems for around $10 to get her for a level and have her leave the next. The cashier should be bought with coins not gems. You also can’t complete levels without spending mad money. They don’t even give you a chance to actually earn diamonds you have to pay for them. To unlock the next level, I have to pay a total of $10 just for gems and coins I don’t enjoy the update as much. The creator is really greedy and this game is not worth playing anymore unless you are rich and it is a shame because this is one of the best games out there I’ve spent over 30,000 coins on the gambling to earn diamonds and haven’t won once and I’ve been doing it for about 5 days now

Bait and switch. This is a fun game if you like time management games. You can play the same level multiple times to maximize score and win gems. After the first few levels you simply cannot advance without purchasing gems in game - it is actually impossible to win enough gems in any way to advance without buying them. There is a casino feature that is troublesome...it’s monotonous lever pulling to gamble, and if your kids might play this you may be uncomfortable because the game is definitely pushing for gamble to win. As other reviewers have noted, even if you use the casino feature you will never win enough gems to advance without paying cash. And the gems are not $.99 purchases...to get enough to pass a level, you’re looking at a $20 purchase - at least every other level! Way too expensive to make this game worthwhile. Developers, you baited me in because I’ve liked the other supermarket games, then switched it to a ridiculous pay to play. Not that addicted to it.

Good, but.... This was one of my favorite games and I’m glad they brought it back with the newer versions to match the phone system updates. I deleted it when I had my iPhone 6 because it couldn’t keep up. Anyway, my one gripe is that the store upgrades don’t carry over to the next area. I upgraded so much for the first market—by buying crystals, only to find out that I have to start from square one once I got to the next market. Not only that but it doubles the cost of crystals to upgrade. What costed 5 crystals in the first one costs 10 in the next. You can’t win unless you upgrade and you can’t upgrade without crystals, and in order to do that you have to—once again—buy them. As much as I love this game, I’m not going to buy crystals for every single market. If the developers can think of an easier way to earn crystals without having to play up to gold level, that’d be great; otherwise, I’ll just end up deleting the game because I can’t win. No point in playing if you have to keep buying.

Love this game but .... I love this game. The levels are much more enjoyable with the cashier but she is bought with gems and per section. The gems are just waaay to expensive. The cost of the cashier goes up per section. currently I need 150 gems which is 20 dollars. There is the casino for gems but the chance of you getting any gems is very low. I really love this game and I’d buy gems if they were a reasonable price. It’s very fun and addicting. I will continue to play the casino and hope for gems so I can progress. If you can afford the gems or have better luck than me I’d recommend this over diner dash any day of the week.

What?????????. The following review is from my extremely disappointed six-year-old daughter: Totally love the other game. Please change it back. My daddy and I used to have so much fun playing it every Morning when we woke up together. Now it’s a different game that I don’t like playing. Really want to own game back. Seriously this is like taking solitaire and changing it into Mario Brothers. Why would you switch the entire genre of a game? I can’t even fathom the meetings in the board room is that you people had when you made this decision. I’m only going to assume that someone lost their job over such a stupid decision. Judging by your terribly declining reviews I’m assuming the switchback will be pretty swift but I think you owe us regular players something as well. Make wiser decisions in the future

Just okay.. I remember playing this ages ago and having a lot more fun. The little old lady character can be very annoying as you're basically following her around restocking as she shop. She picks her items off a shelf, you restock it, then you wait 10-15 seconds for her to very slowly make her way to the next shelf and repeat. She provides no challenge at all so when it's a level of nothing but this character it can be very slow and boring. As others have said, the casino can be a very dull waste of money and having to play a level repeatedly to get the gold can be tedious. Especially when it's a long slow level of little old ladies. 😴

Great game aside from the usual $$. This is a great game and I’ve played the different versions over the years. When I first found the first game in this series, years ago, I remember playing from almost start to finish without having to spend a single penny. I just started this particular game and I’m already feeling like I won’t be able to progress as far as I would like without spending real money. I don’t mind spending a few bucks on “starter packs” or some other type of bonus pack deal if I only do it once or twice throughout the course of the entire game but when you constantly have to drop money within each level to have even a shred of hope of progressing in the game...that’s when I throw in the towel. I’m getting that feeling with this game. Usually a dead give-away when all of your upgrades cost 40+ 💎 and it took me a week of playing to get to 41 💎. 🙄 Ive been aimlessly searching, for over a week now, for a new time management/time waster game that doesn’t want my paycheck. So sick of this “free game but it’s not really free game” crap! Still holding out hope for this one but it’s not looking good. Probably going to go and see if I can find the original version, replay it and toss this one into the dud folder. 😣 Cooking Craze is still holding the gold medal for “FREE game that really is FREE”. So if you’re like me and searching for a game LIKE this that doesn’t want all of your money, check that one out! 😉

Fun...but. I have never played a game where you have to play a level FIVE times to get gold. It should be based on points or a scoring system, playing this way makes it incredibly tedious and I’ve already uninstalled it once because it got so mind-numbingly boring. PLUS, there’s no way it’s fair to have to repurchase my upgrades in new areas. Gems take far too much to earn for this to be the case, or at least make the upgrades cost less when the greens are involved. Also on the bonus levels, I have to buy my upgrades again as well. The casino is a joke and I barely get coins let alone gems. If these issues ever get addressed, I’d definitely recommend this game to friends. Right now, I only play it if I have nothing better to do.

Back but could be better. I'm so glad you brought back the ORIGINAL format. I do like the match-3 version as well but this one is my favorite. Love the concept and the fast pace challenging levels. The improving level option is great to obtain diamonds, however it would be nice to have that option unlimited with diamond rewards, especially when the only other ways to obtain them is by the casino or by purchasing them with real money. The casino is alright but I'm not a fan personally due the time and money consumption it takes for very little reward. Unfortunately the only way to advance in the game is to have A LOT OF DIAMONDS, more so than you can EARN in gameplay, even with the casino and level improvement options. That's the only reason I won't give this game more stars...the need for sooooo many diamonds but the lack of ways to obtain them through gameplay. Otherwise the game is a winner. No glitches that I've experienced, fun, fast, challenging and a nice brain workout.

The previous game has been replaced with a fake.. Update: this game has been completely changed to a puzzle game which is really lame. If the original game just had some tweaks done so you could win the gems more easily it would have been awesome. Very disappointed with this new version of “fun.” A year ago, I started this game and loved it! Got through the first level which was challenging. After the first level it quickly becomes impossible unless you purchase diamonds. The slots winning percentages are so low for diamonds that you might as well not waste your money. I have spun the $500 slot for at least 3 weeks and haven't won any diamonds yet. Even if I did buy diamonds it would be enough for only one upgrade. Not sure how much longer I will play before it becomes totally impossible. Update: Something happened to my game where I completely lost all the data and have to start over. At least I can play now. I have been at a total standstill for a while because of no diamonds. Let support know that my game reset but haven’t heard a word from them. I did purchase 100 diamonds for 99 cents once. Would be nice to at least get those back!

Wheres the old game. I started playing this game almost a year ago and i come back on a few weeks ago and its a completely different game!!! I miss the old game where it was actually a game where u had things to do (stock shelves, clean, restock,ect.) i dont know what it is now I thought the lil candy crush game was a “bonus level” or something but i went and tried diff. Levels i had beaten and it was the same i was completely LOST and NOT HAPPY! WAS a Great Game. June 9, 2018: So I must say that this is even more disappointing. Why in the world would you guys change the entire dynamics of the game. I can see if you added this new addition in order to achieve more gems and coins for the original version of the game but not to take away the very thing that makes it a time management game... It's barely any of those types of games available as is. SMH Feb 1, 2018: does anyone know what the last 2 updates were about? There isn’t an explanation and I can’t tell any difference besides the apps thumbnail pic. Jan 17, 2018: I really love this game, it’s one of my favorite genre of games to play. However, what I don’t love is how you can only advance to new levels/sections of the game by using gems/crystals/diamonds, whatever they are. You don’t achieve enough during actual game play and I refuse to pay additional $ in this game, especially when the gems are priced so expensively. I would have to spend at least $10-20 just to advance to the next section and as far as I can see, there are at least 5 more sections ahead of me, which if they are like any of the other sections, you will have to use gems to make store upgrades just to pass majority of the levels. I cannot see paying so much for this game. In order to finish this game in its entirety at this point, I would be able to buy quite a few xbox/playstation games and as you can see, that’s not even comparable to an app.

Ratio off. This game is awesome. It's fun and challenging! HOWEVER, the rate at which I earn money versus the cost of things is WAY OFF! For example, the cost of a one star upgrade is 3k coins. This is fine because you are earning up to 409k per customer. But, a two star upgrade is then like 12k coins BUT you are still only earning 409 coins per customer after the upgrade! This makes the rate of earning over 29 times the rate of spending!! Then, you only earn like 2-6 diamonds per level but a majority of upgrades require 30 to 40 diamonds or more. If this doesn't balance out, it seems unfair and makes the game "un-fun"!

Supermarket Mania. I love this game. Its fast, SAVE YOUR DIAMONDS you need between 25 and 40 per upgrade. Easy to manage for the first 20 levels, then watch out, she needs to go extra fast. Prioritise well!

Too controlling. In the beginning of the game it makes you do stuff (like shortcuts and stuff) which you may not want to do. But you have to do them and you can't get around it or just ignore it. New update is an entirely different game. I want to start by saying I've found this game super fun. However, this new update is rubbish. I chose to play a time management game unlike anything else on the App Store. Now, this same game is a Candy Crush ripoff. Not happy! Bring back the time management stores!! If you wanted to turn this into a match 3 puzzle game you could have just created a new game, or at least left this game alone with no updates for those of us who actually enjoyed playing the original Supermarket Mania Journey. Have the producers Abandoned Ship?. Great game. One problem. Been promising new levels for over a year. It’s wonderful they brought back the original time management game. But have they tired of making new levels, or run out of ideas, or has the game writer left & no-one else cares about this game to produce more levels? Players have spent quite a bit to make progress so if you’re not going to make more levels it would be much better to stop promising that you will!!

They changed the whole game!. I downloaded this game and had a great time playing it and purchased items in it and then they “updated” the game and changed the entire concept, instead of a multitasking game now it is a match 3 game no different from candy crush and all that other junk! I don’t want a match 3 game or I would have downloaded any of the hundreds of available ones! I want my game back, this was my stress relief at the end of the day! Why would you change the game?!

Too expensive to play. I loved the previous Supermarket Mania games, but this one is just greedy. I get devs having to pay the bills and charging money, but not this much! Any decent upgrade costs real money....and not just money, but loadssssss of money. I was prepared to pay for the upgrades but then I found that not only are you paying quite a lot for them…but you pay it for each shop you have!!! I feel that if you are having to pay real money for the upgrades, then they should stay throughout the levels/different shops. The game itself has been updated nicely, but at these prices, no thanks. I stopped playing as soon as I realised the upgrades need to be paid for repeatedly. Just too greedy. Guess that's the end of my supermarket mania days. Will just find another game. Real shame as I loved the franchise. Devs would make more money if the upgrades were a reasonable cost.

Too many coins not enough diamonds. Very hard to enter new stages - the repetition of having to do the same stages over and over to earn barely ang diamonds is a real disappointment.

Needs improvement. I used to enjoy playing the game and have happily payed for extra crystals however if you upgrade and purchase a security guard,faster mop ect you should not have to re purchase it again after you have moved through extra levels. Why would you pay for the same thing over and over again ? Also glitches you use boosts to get though a level you serve 25 out of 26 customers and the last one never comes meaning you've wasted your time and money it's a rip of. Better games out there that you can pass without having to be ripped of.

Disappointed :(. I enjoy the game but to be quite honest it ticks me off. It is so hard to get gems. The pokie machine won't always give you anything even after spending 50,000 plus game money. It's too hard to buy the upgrades and then to have to restart from scratch. Honestly makes me mad. I think I am going to have to delete it. When I play a game I want to enjoy it. Not hop off it and be mad.

Can’t progress without crystals. I miss the original game where you paid and upfront fee to purchase the game and then could play the whole story. Now you need to spend money to buy crystals to unlock levels and upgrades and the levels keep getting harder while you don’t earn crystals fast enough

Why would you not want to make a game enjoyable for people to play rather than making it so hard, frustrating and expensive?! Don’t Bother. I used to love this strategy game, but when they closed the game, that I had paid money to buy, and then releases a new version with iOS 11, I tried it and it was all about spending money on in app purchases to really get anywhere. But I still played it and avoided spending any money but never really getting high levels. Now with this recent update, it’s not a strategy game at all anymore, they’ve completely ditched the supermarket altogether and now it’s just like candy crush but stupid and pointless. Don’t waste your time. This company have lost all credibility.

Eh.... It’s not a bad game, however, i do have a few issues with it. playing it can be a pretty gruelling and arduous process as you have to successfully complete each level a total of 6 times to receive the gold rewards. now, playing the level 6 times wouldn’t be so gruelling if this wasn’t such a boring game. it takes time for customers to come and even more time for them to obtain the products they desire and it ends up taking more time than it should to play. i suggest adding in a fast forward option, in which gameplay is simply sped up making it faster to complete levels. alternatively, you could add a quick win option once you’ve completed the level to silver. i legitimately fell asleep playing this game so i think there needs to be some new additions to the game.

Stupid move. Firstly, I’m disappointed that the game has changed from a time management to a match-3 game. Really? What were you thinking? Should’ve made an entirely new game instead. Your time-management players downloaded the original for a reason, not for you to change it on them in an “update”. Secondly, the original game needed the player to purchase diamonds at a ridiculous price in order to pass levels at the higher levels. Not just once, but over and over again as the player moved on to a new location. It was just a blatant money grab. I guess that doesn’t really apply anymore, so see the first point...

There is nothing bad about the game. Ie encountered a total of 212 games to date, but this one is a new level. Words cannot describe how much I’m addicted and love the game. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about this game, but I do not agree with them. I really like how it’s not slow, but not quick to progress through the levels. I’ve been looking for a realistic shopping game for around 2 months. When I found this one, I almost cried because of how beautiful and well designed it is. Great job G5! If I wanted to play Candy Crush, I would play Candy Crush!. How can you call this an ‘update’? It’s a completely new game! The whole concept of the game has changed and not for the better. I thought it was great when I started the new version and it didn’t have to be rotated, then the game loaded... wow! I really hope you check these reviews because none of them are good since the update. If I wanted to play Candy Crush then I would play Candy Crush.

Just let us buy it.. This ‘Journey’ version is a total rip off. I would gladly pay for the game and enjoy it rather than “improve” each stage a gazillion times just to get annoying diamonds and coins. Shopping is fun. Love this game. Helps past the time in a fun way. Takes a while to upgrade if you don’t buy gems. It’s fun to play and try to do better each time you play. Graphics is good. Never gets boring.

In App Purchases way too expensive. In App purchases really sting so continuing the game costs way to much as you have to buy Gems to upgrade the shop. I would have given a higher star rating but the overly priced purchases just can’t justify higher than 3. I would suggest lowering the cost or run out specials that a way better than whats on offer now.

Good game, but poor increments. Game takes far to many levels to reach reasonable pace. Then there’s only a few levels before it is completely unrealistic without having to spend real money. Then when moving to next part of the “journey”, upgrades are relinquished such a speed for refill in pantry and cleaning capacity. To regain those upgrades is impossible due to excessive price of gems and the speed of the game then makes it impossible to earn them without those upgrades. Really poorly thought through. Deleting app now.

Nice game to play. I loved the first two supermarket mania games, one payment then the games yours now the astronomical amount of gems you need for essential upgrades is mind blowing you also can't re start the whole game. In this game the greedy company that wants to over take the super market is represented by a shady looking character in an over coat and hat, when ever I think of the creators of this game now that's who I see, what a shame it was such a good game

Player is not moving after buying diamonds to bring moods and customers back. I'd been spending money to buy diamonds so I can purchase MOODS and CUSTOMERS BACK but after I purchased it and go back to the game everything continues except my player is not moving and stays at its place. Then I have to use diamonds again and bring customers and mood back but again my player stays on the same spot not moving. It's unfair and a waste of money. You have to check this out.

Great now it’s returned to original format. Am enjoying it again, however the Xmas update isn’t working. Have done the latest update, even uninstalled/reinstalled but there aren’t any signs of the Christmas levels. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Supermarket Mania. I like this game & it's very challenging but you do have to purchase the gems to increase your chances to succeed. The thing I don't like about this game is the extra challenges when u almost have to be a child minder as well as run a supermarket. Personally I dislike this because it doesn't happen once but many times & I've lost the game due to running after a lost child. this is extremely frustrating to say the least. I'm considering uninstalling the game because of this reason.

Great!. One of my all time favourite games! I’ve had it on and off for the last few years. Recently re downloaded and it’s even better than before! So many levels I’m obsessed!

The best. This game still years later is the best - so addictive and no annoying ads like all the new games out there. It’s not too easy but not way too hard, you can progress but you have to be smart about it. I have noticed a bug where a notification box pops up when you first open the game but the message area is blank and it just has a box saying ‘don’t show me again’ not sure what’s it’s supposed to say

BEST GAME EVER. I have been playing this game since I was little, and I just remembered it and am starting to play it again from the start. Such a simple and well though out concept. The game hasn’t really changed in 10+ years, but it seems like the creators put in a lot of effort. There are hardly any ads at all and seriously the best game ever.

You have ruined this game. I cannot believe you took a relatively interesting and challenging game and turned it into another stupid match game. The only reason I liked it was because it did not have any of that rubbish and if I had known the update would ruin the game so completely I never would have upgraded. I (and I suspect many others) will no longer be playing this ruined game. How could you just change it without even giving players the option to remain in the previous version? Too expensive. Used to play the computer version and loved it. Now you have to replay levels 5x for upgrade “diamonds” instead of just surpassing a coin amount per level and upgrading with coins. Upgrades aren’t held over between levels, so you can spend hundreds of $$ to buy premium current/diamonds to maintain your store which is ridiculous. This game is not that advanced or developed to legit *require* hundreds of real dollars to play it functionally.

Typical app developer being greedy for money. So I downloaded this game several years ago before they were doing “in app purchases”. I LOVED the game, it was just the right amount of fun and challenging. I had to work to finish it but I was able to do so successfully. I haven’t played in a few years so I went to re-download it and found this version with, OF COURSE, in app purchases. I played and found it fine for the first 10 levels but then it got near impossible to fully finish each level without using a lot of the help items (auto clean, slow down time, auto fill store, etc.) I got through the first area and had upgraded just about every item so I could max out each level thinking these upgrades would last forever so the ridiculous amount of diamonds it cost was worth it. But NO, suddenly I get to the gates of the second level only to find out I have ti START ALL OVER WITH UPGRADES!! I don’t mind starting over, but when you need 50 or 100 diamonds per item you need to upgrade and you are only getting 2-5 diamonds here and there, you end up at a stand still unless you PURCHASE DIAMONDS. I have already put about $100 into this game (and that includes buying items at 65% off) and I can’t get past level 31. It’s a total disappointment. I am all for developers making some money for their hard work, but this is just absolute greed. $27.99 to buy about 60 “help” items that you use up in less than 5 levels. It’s absolutely disgusting. I put about $90 too much into this game before I smartened up and realized I will never finish without making these people millionaires. I have wayyyyyyy better places to spend my hard earned money! Way to go developers, your greed just lost you a loyal customer!

Paywall is insane. This is one of the worst games I’ve ever played where beating the game is next to impossible without paying for crystals. Not even an option to watch ads for crystals? You literally cannot get the gold on most of these levels without crystal upgrades and essentially every upgrade requires crystals. Higher cost upgrades (cashier, upgraded cart, mop, etc) don’t even carry over from one world to the next, and the cost of those upgrades increases every world but the amount of crystals you get for completing the levels does not. The casino also almost never gives you crystals- you can spin 200k of coins and never get a single one. I used to love this game but they’ve ruined it with making it almost unable to play without paying money.

Horrible Update!. At first I was really confused and thought I was missing something. The entire game is gone, only to be replaced with a knockoff version of candy crush. I’m actually really upset because I was really enjoying the game and I have no idea why they would completely change it. Plus, I was just getting into it and it was an entertaining and pretty unique game. I already have candy crush and I don’t need another app just like it. If they wanted that concept they should have made a new app altogether or added it as a mini game or something. Anyways, really disappointed and confused and if you haven’t updated please don’t! Really hoping they change it back but deleting it in the mean time :(

Fun game. I have enjoyed this game for a while without issues. However, recently I purchased a package for $4.99 that included more customers, cookies and Instant check out. Even though I got an OK at the end of the purchase I never received the additional items. I was not charged the $4.99 so I did not worry too much. This morning the $4.99 charge is on my credit card but no additional items are showing in my game. I would like to either have a refund or the additional items added to my game.

Amazing game, just wish the cost to use diamonds wasn’t so high. The game is amazing, just downloaded it today and could not put it down, and I was at work! Lol. The game is great, but the price to upgrade things a second, third, fourth, etc., time is a bit staunchly and aggressive in the sense that you can get up to the gold coin status on each level, but it really doesn’t do anything for you, so you play and play to get as many diamonds as you can; meanwhile stuck on a level with 14+ customers and not able to purchase upgrades that would help alleviate the pain and frustration of the more demanding levels.

Have to spend real cash. Made it through 33 levels (not including the challenges). Is impossible to move forward without spending real cash. For 1 week, played “just” the casino, losing 450,000 in coins to not win a single crystal (diamond). Considering the “upgrades” purchased with these hard to come by crystals, do not stay with you through the stages (neighborhood)- only in levels & not even the “challenge” phases within stages (neighborhood), and the number of crystals required for an upgrade (most need 50), it is impossible to progress without purchasing with actual cash. What a pity, could have been a decent game. But will be deleting.

Developers please read. Ever since before the match 3 game replacement I’ve been stuck in the same level bracket because I have no way of gaining more diamonds to open the gate. There has to be more ways of gaining diamonds besides using the slot machine or buying them. I was hoping the update would allow us to start over but I can’t even do that so that I can save more diamonds. Please make new ways to gain diamonds or take away the need for diamonds to open gates. I have so much gold and no diamonds. It would be nice to be able to convert gold into diamonds otherwise there is no point in having gold since most upgrades require diamonds anyway.

Ok.....but. It's good but can be better,the price is high for upgrades to me,but that's me I think u should be able to log on the app on other devices without u having to choose between what device to play it on EX:sometimes I start by playing on my tablet (cause it's bigger)then I leave 4 work and switch to my phone BUT i can't continue my progress until i delete the app from my tablet to log in on my phone ,then once I'm home again I have to redownload it on my tablet and delete it on my phone to play it back on my tablet,that's the only bad part

A lot of grinding. I’m enjoying the game, but I spend an inordinate amount of time pressing the “spin” button. I would much rather just pay $5 or $10 for the game outright to enjoy it (and just like, be able to exchange coins for gems as in-game currency). But I’m not willing to pay just for some gems, so the game is rather tedious. I play it generally when I’m needing something to do with my hands, and it has to be something boring so I can focus on what’s being said to me (like an educational audiobook or when on a work meeting/training).

Reached max level :-(. I love this game and have spent a total of $0.99 for crystals since I got it so it’s not true you are forced to spend a ton to get to the end, you just need to be fast. But sadly I’m now at level 225 and there are no more levels!! The game says “Coming Soon ... new updates will have new shops” but I’ve waited about 5 months and have yet to see any more updates to allow me to get to new shops. Please update this game with more levels and shops. Thank you!!! 🙏🏼💐

Game ok, customer service needs work. The game is ok; maybe too many upgrades needed to complete levels without those upgrades carrying over. For example when you get the security guard and then buy the next level (going through the gates at 17) you loose the security guard. Then there’s the crashes. My game crashed at 21 and I lost the progress I had in 21. This was ok but what I didn’t expect was the 24 crystal lose. I won those crystals in the slots total independent from the level crash. I contacted the company and after an exchange of several emails was promised 30 crystals. I followed their instructions but never received the promised crystals. I contacted the company again but they have never gotten back. I won’t be playing any G5 games.

Too expensive. This could really be an amazing game but it feels like the developers are way too money hungry! In a similar game, Cooking Dash, they gives away so much, have great events & specials that it does make me want to invest real money in the game. With supermarket mania, you rarely get anything. The things you do get don't help you along in the actual game. It really is a shame & a waste :-/. Something as simple as the 2017 Thanksgiving event; Why make every STAGE be worth FIVE cornucopias?! Why not just one? Because you'd on,y make it onto one board with the free cornucopias you earn. You'd have to buy the rest. Something simple as that. Oiled have been so nice if it was fair.

Cheating players of diamonds. Why you show diamonds on the slot machine when those diamonds are not obtainable to win? So I’m here spinning and wasting my coins cause you show diamonds that I can’t get, please explain how that’s fun? Again cheating players cause it’s like you know players need diamonds to upgrade important items in the game in order to continue playing so you’re not giving them on purpose. Perfect example I’ve spun the slot machine over 100 times and not once did I ever get some of the diamonds again don’t show something that’s not physically possible to get instead just show coins cause you cheat players from the diamonds.

Fun!. Fun, addicting. I suggest doing an update where the darn upgrades aren't so many diamonds. I almost feel like uninstalling it because I can't get past a level and if I only had one of the upgrades, I could pass it but the only way you can get diamonds is if you pass the levels. What is the point in getting coins if you barely use them? I only use them on the spin thing to try to win diamonds(which I have only once and I've had this game for around a week). It is also annoying that when you get to a new store, all of the upgrades you spent all of your diamonds on are gone! Other than those annoying things, it's fun.

Overall great 😀. This game is very addicting. It is also very fun. Some things that I think should be changed is that I don't think that most people like playing 5 times for a one gold completion. Maybe just 4? I would also like to know how much the gates will cost to open before getting there or you can be stumped. I also wish that the other upgrades didn't all cost 40 gems each. That's hard to get. Really hard. Other than that, this game is truly very good. The whole concept is great. I would recommend. 👍

Why updated to THIS!. Why did you changed the game to some kind of matching game? I’m so upset that I didn’t bother even trying to download it! Wth I don’t even know what the game even is like, but I read the other reviews of it and people are upset, disappointed, and mad. If you even take your time to read the reviews, you will see not even a person liked or loved it. People said it was ok or bad. Many people including me would like the original game back. Love game. Can be expensive. Cost saving trick!. This is an extremely fun game. I have no complaint about playing the same level numerous times, because you earn more diamonds. It also extends game play. One expensive feature is passing through the gate to the next store. One way to save money is just play each level to bronze. Collect your four diamonds. This makes it cheaper to open the gate. Then you can go back and play the other levels. Would rate a 5 if they update the game more often. Once you go so far your have to wait months to get added levels.

BIG time money grab - y’all went overboard. You had an awesome game to start with, then turned it into that awful Match 3. Good on you for swapping back to the original really awesome format, but now to make enough to get things you need it’s just too much. There’s definitely a happy medium, and this isn’t it...you charge wayyyy to much to get ahead. It zaps the fun out of it and I just don’t play it as much anymore. I’d be more apt to spend money if it meant you’d get things permanently. But as is, it’s too expensive & prohibitive. It’s a bad look. Do the right thing, listen to your reviews once again & find a balance. 🙏🏼

Awesome. I love this game because it’s challenging. It challenges your brain and to me it trains your brain to focus on more than 1 thing at a time. The only thing I don’t like is upgrades cost so much, it’s 40 gems to do a lot of upgrades but it takes a lot to gain gems . I understand they want us to spend money and that’s the point but after you up grade once it immediately wants you to spend a lot of coins and gems instead slowly increasing the cost the cost

So far so good. I’ve come back to playing this game after a couple of years and it’s still fun like I remember. I wish there were other opportunities to make diamonds and coins than just purchasing quick. It could make a fan of the game stop playing quickly because you’re spending a lot of money if you want to get the most out of the game with upgrades and etc. Overall, it’s still fun and worth a download! Just a tip to the creators of ways to keep longevity! Gifts, ads, mini games, etc..

Not willing to pay to play. I am extremely frustrated with this game. I had seen it before, but never downloaded it because I just don’t like these online versions of games and I also had Supermarket Mania 2.. which I LOVED. This game however... is a joke. Having played the non-online version, I know which items I want to upgrade and in what order to do them in. This game requires you to get crystals to upgrade things. You don’t get crystals very often, they want you to buy them. I am now to a point where I am needing to do more upgrades, but can’t because EVERY. SINGLE. UPGRADE. requires you have these crystals. As a mom of 3 who barely gets the time to play this game... I definitely don’t have the money to do so. Give me back Supermarket Mania 2.

Hard to continue. It’s a great game. I’ve played it before a few years back and deleted it because it’s nearly impossible to advance without spending real money. You need to upgrade the material but you can’t do that without diamonds and you don’t get diamonds unless you pass the levels but you can’t pass the levels because you don’t have diamonds to upgrade the materials!! And after a certain amount of level you go into a new section and NOTHING transfers over. You have to start from ground one with the upgrades. It’s very frustrating. I’ll probably end up deleting it again.

Great Game, but.... This app has the potential of being a great game, but I agree with some of the other reviews. The slot machine is rigged to only give out coins. I do not know how many times that I have “almost won”. In addition, playing the game five times to gain 4 gems is ridiculous. Nothing changes each time besides maybe an increase in shoppers. Upgrades are mostly gems after first upgrade. It gives you no choice but redo other levels to add 4 gems each level turned golden. It appears the creators are playing on impatience. I like the game, but unrig the slot machine to allow other options to gain gems besides paying.

Good game but some bugs. The game is really fun to play. I wish not all the upgrades needed so many gems to purchase as you don’t gain them very quickly unless you purchase them but overall still a good game. I did have an issue though with a purchase I made of an upgrade and now my game is not showing that upgrade but took my gems from me, I reached out to their support staff to hopefully resolve this and that’s the reasoning for the lower rating otherwise I would have given 4-5 stars.

Good But not enough rewards. One of my favorite games to play. Only thing is that s as mount of time you have to play levels just to get diamonds I think you should at least start with one and for each time you redo the level add an extra one. Takes too much time to receive diamonds I would buy them but the price for them are high and not a lot of diamonds. Just my opinion. Still love the game though.

Game changed -Updated. The latest update completely switched the game. I downloaded a game because I wanted a time management grocery store. I now have a match three switcheroo type game. Not at all what I wanted to play. If you want to create a new app, create a new app. Don’t just overwrite the old one and expect people to be happy. I am thoroughly disgusted. The original game is back! Unfortunately, I lost all of my progress but it’s the type of game I want and I don’t mind starting over from scratch too much.

Is the new format a delayed April Fools Day Prank?. The new format is like the multitude of match games on the market. Bummed that the format completely changed and without advanced notice. I had earned more than 200 boosters and lost them with the format change. I enjoyed the previous shopping mania format better than the match version as it offered a welcomed change from the many match games on the market. Maybe consider combining the match format with the shopping format giving players the option of switching between the two. Or better yet, create the match version as a separate game. Holding on deleting as I’m hoping I’m overlooking a way to switch back to the previous format.

The guy that tears up the machines is TRASH. Why is the security a deterrent for the thieves and the bad little girls but you can’t stop this man from tearing up your machines? It doesn’t make any since. Between that and it being so expensive to upgrade stuff makes me not play this game as often as I used to. It shouldn’t cost 75 diamonds to get a cashier when you can’t organically raise the funds in the game. I’ve paid for diamonds multiple times but it would be nice if even with a bit or work, you can earn them instead of having to cough up $20 a week to play the game.

I like Older version better. There’s just waaaay too much going on in the new version. Coins, diamonds, treasure chests, play w/friends, slot machine, multiple tries, tutorials that you CANNOT skip. The screen is too overloaded. Simplify by using a drop down or place under “settings”. Biggest issue is now you have to buy diamonds in order to upgrade any of the useful power-ups. You can earn up to 4, but you have to play the same level 5 times. It’d be nice to have a chance to earn more diamonds without a purchase or playing the slot. Or better yet, get rid of them and only have to use your coins.

Fun but annoying. I like the game.... but it is very annoying that you NEED gems to do everything! To upgrade things, you have to spend so much gems! It is also hard to get gems without paying real money to get them. I don't like when games make you pay real money to get things that are NEEDED to advance in the game! Also when I created a profile for the game I had 41 gems on me that I was saving to get the cash register person, but after I completed the profile I had 3 gems left!!!!! I thought you earn gems when you made the profile, NOT LOSE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE IT EASIER TO GET GEMS!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Super disappointed. I was really enjoying the game and then the makers completely changed the idea of the game. I loved how it was originally. I’m extremely mad that the whole concept of the game was altered. The update is awful. I went from playing the game daily to deleting it after I was aware of the update. It’s frustrating that the game I enjoyed playing was changed into a whole different game. The makers of the game need to change it back so I can play the game I love. If I wanted to play a matching game I would have downloaded candy crush. The original game was different than most apps and that is what I enjoyed most about it. Now it blends in with the rest of the useless apps that are all the same.

Needs work. Game is fun but upgrades don’t work in bonus round. Such as bought the bigger cart where you can fill 7 shelves but in bonus round it only fills 5 and all the food cases were back to beginning. Also i bought a cashier but did it at first bonus round well now shes not available in regular rounds. That’s 75 stars that take forever to get that are now wasted. Reply is below from developer. Fun but Not Fair. I like the game and always have however, it seems almost impossible to get more diamonds. I spent over 40K coins on the slot machine to get them and only got 24! You need the diamonds to get boosts and upgrades but it’s difficult to get them and/or accumulate them. The upgrade cost are ridiculous when you can’t even get enough diamonds to upgrade. It’s supposed to be a fun and challenging game but it’s almost impossible to accumulate diamonds to beat levels without constantly buying them with real cash. It’s not right. Fun game but not “fair” or evenly balanced for fun. Please adjust this some kind of way.

Not enough gems. I used to own the original version of the game when it was on a PC and deeply enjoyed it, so I was excited when the app appeared. The game itself is fun, but it requires way too many gems. You can't beat the levels and advance without the use of gems, which are very, very difficult to get. The casino is too unreliable; on occasion you will get a ton of gems, but the rest of the time you will spend a lot of coins and get nothing. It would also be helpful if the particularly expensive items like the automatic cleaner would last longer than one area, which contributes to the wasting of gems.

Fun game- but can’t advance without pricey upgrades. I enjoy playing this game but I’m currently stuck and can’t even pass previously passed levels without pricey upgrades! Mainly the security guard because I can’t earn enough coins. You don’t earn coins for failed levels which is a major flaw since I’ve played enough levels to buy the security guard at least 5 times. It’s annoying to not be able to continue as I keep losing the same levels over and over due to losing customers I can’t stop from stealing since I can’t purchase the security guard. :(

Can’t progress without spending $$$. I really enjoy this game , but I finally stopped playing it and sent it to the cloud . It is impossible to pass levels without buying the upgrades , such as cashier Wendy , the Security guard and the upgraded floor cleaning machine . I was fine with spending some cash , $20 , even $40 if I could get through more than one episode before having to repurchase all the same upgrades on the next episode . Too bad it’s so greedy , as it is a very enjoyable game .

Phenomenal game. I've always enjoyed this game as a child on my computer and to actually play it via iPad is pretty awesome. Fun Fact: Only a minimum of levels were available and to access additional levels, players would have to purchase the game. I couldn't afford it as as a child and never played the game to its capacity. However, I'm upset that I purchased something unknowingly of the fact it cost me diamonds! Overall, great game! No glitches or crashes.

Just got to my second store. I like playing this game to pass time but I feel as if gems are kind of hard to get a hold of. I did well one day in the ‘casino’ and got a few gems but spent them on upgrades right away (this was my mistake, I should have hoarded them). I guess I didn’t realize I was close to a new store and would need even more gems to make upgrades (I.e. 10 gems instead of 5 to upgrade the displays). I do like that winning the “sub levels” gives me more than it did (I.e. 3 gems instead of 2 for silver). Overall good way to waste time. :)

Real Money. I understand the need to have real money involved for the developers creating the game and that’s how you can keep it free and also by adding ads but some of us will never spend that much real money like me but you make it impossible to play the game unless you do you can’t even earn enough coins to make upgrades to the shop I’ve tried gambling on the slot machine but you lose most of the time Ive made it to the second gated area without upgrades to the shop but it was painfully hard and makes the game non enjoyable it cost 75 Gems just to get a cashier to help I feel like I’m doing all the work where is the help it reminds me of a real job

Love the game but...... I remember playing this game on my PC many years ago. Still love the game although now the game seems to be setup where you have to spend your actual money to buy diamonds for the upgrades you need to keep advancing in the game. There’s not too many ways to earn free diamonds. There are a few like entering personal info and adding friends, etc. However other games offer additional options such as watching advertisements to earn diamonds. I would gladly watch an advertisement for a free diamond. A lot of the games I try out are actually based on these clever little advertisements.

Amusingly fun!. This I would have to say with all honesty, is a really fun game....you don't feel the pressure to buy anything although it could easily be a "freemium" game. You can play the same level and it actually adds to the challenge, a little monotonous at times sure, but then you see the progression as you go. Then the added bonus of a slot machine game where you can gamble the chance at getting more coin or gems to upgrade your store....I just started playing this game and I'm already hooked!

I’m really enjoy ur game EXCEPT when the grocer has made a mistake or u make a mistake to make the player change or reverse the action there is NO way to have her replace the wrong item. I just have to leave the program n shut it down because she won’t replace the wrong back where she got it. That is really frustrating because I am having so much fun. Can u fix.... This game is fun and time killing. I like this game because it is really fun and when i am bored i can jump right on and play for fun. Also just like other games you have to pay for gems or coins but i really like how there is also another way to obtain gems and coins by replaying the levels or improving them to get more gems. So i would recommend this game if you like dinner dash and other games like that.

Upgrades only last for one "world". Played the first world and loved it! Then got to the end and discovered I needed diamonds to move on but I had used them all to buy upgrades. So I was frustrated but figured "now I know for future worlds" and I spent 2 days playing the casino to get diamonds. Then I make it to the next world only to discover all the previous upgrades I bought only last for 1 world. 😡 So not only did I use all my diamonds but it was all for nothing. The price of the upgrades is outrageous considering they only last for 1 world. It takes the entire world just to buy a small portion of the upgrades. After that I deleted the game and disappointed that I actually used real money to purchase diamonds all for nothing.

👎🏻 Updated to totally different game 🤦🏻‍♂️ blatant money grab by G5. This is actually insane. You updated to a different game. Why did you change this to a candy crush knock off!? So you can sell more rainbow cake and butterfly boosters to your active users? Trying to avoid investing in user acquisition? The mobile game app market is saturated and you’re not focusing on customer satisfaction!? There is a clear cliff in your ratings after this update. You went from 5 star reviews titled “terrific game” to 1 star reviews asking where their game went. If I wanted a played out concept, I would have just downloaded candy crush. Please restore this game and make a new app for your blatant candy crush ripoff. Chalk it up as a loss and a “learning” and change the game back.

Cash game. This game is fun but it gets too difficult and you can’t progress without crystals. You have to buy crystals. They have a slot machine where you can bet coins to win coins and crystals, but you’re not going to win big on coins and the crystals seem to dry up right at the end of the third level. I’ve been playing an old episode just to get coins to place bets on the slot machine to get crystals and haven’t hit crystals in a LONG time, and the only other way to get crystals is to buy them and I just can’t see myself spending ANY real money on a game like this so, it’s fun but can’t get very far without real money. What a disappointment.

Love this game!. Love this game! It’s so much fun! And it’s cool that you get more money and more points by improving each level. And the special day where there’s an “event” in the store is pretty cool too! I really enjoy this game and all the levels. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive to upgrade the items in the store. But I’m pretty patient, so I just save up and upgrade the most important things. That would be my only complaint. This is one of my favorite games to help pass the time whenever I’m in a waiting room. It makes time fly by!

HELP!. UPDATE: I LOVE playing this game but it suddenly stopped working for me 2 days ago. It shuts down on the loading screen. This is the only game I play that does this. I out in a support ticket but haven’t heard anything back. The game is fun and gets more and more challenging with each level. There are plenty of levels to play but Unfortunately after a while it is impossible to get to higher levels without paying to get the necessary coins and diamonds.

this is great. this is a really good game i just wish it would be a bit better then the other things but here taper the thing i want younto fix first there is a glitch on my screen where the customers glitch and the second thing is that I don’t like how there’s so much instructions I don’t know if that’s how the game is supposed to be but I recommend to not put as much instructions as you do and that’s the only thing I want you to do thank you

Fun but can’t get far without spending $$$. You have the ability to play and earn coins and gems to upgrade stuff until Level 17 but once you get into a new “town”, you start all over again and the upgrades cost more gems than coins and the only way to get enough gems is to pay actual money. Playing a level 4 times to achieve gold status is annoying. The a lot machine where you can win coins and gems is rigged for sure. I’ve never won gems, I’ve BARELY won coins. After playing the game for sometime, you’ll get a random pop up ad but it’s super short unlike other games. Unfortunately I’m deleting the app because I don’t want to spend any money to play this game. But it’s fun, while it lasts

I like it. I like this game but I think you can change somethings because when it says upgrade you just upgrade the same thing you just make more and then it is a waste of coins. Can you please put more items. Other than that it is a good game. I would love to hear back from the creator of this game. A player of this game Savannah Colon

Ruined by pay to play. The original game was really fun without needing to shell out money for gems to get to the next level. This game you have to play each level like 5 times in order to get “gold” status - and get 3 gems. I don’t mean that the level is difficult and so you have to replay it, I mean literally you’re forced to replay the level. Or of course you can just pay to get gems. 😒 The coins you get in game are worthless after some basic upgrades, everything that actually helps you in the game like hiring someone to run the cash register or upgrading your cart capacity, takes large numbers of gems. It gets so boring replaying each level to get 2-3 gems in order to get 50 gems to get 1 good upgrade.
