Effective if you use it right. I started out with one round twice a day. Then I upped it to two then three. I have to say it does work. I started in November and by December I had to buy new pants. I love the fact that I can hold a squat. Don’t start out rough take it easy and build up and you will see results.

Nothing special. 30 second exercises followed by 10 second rest intervals. There is only one free routine the rest are paid for. The one thing that is really annoying is there isn't sound to let you know when each exercise is ending or what the next exercise is coming up so you constantly have to look at your phone.

Fits into my busy schedule. I love the options to do a whole body workout quick and to the point.

Sound. Still trying to figure it out but I am not getting any sound to or auditory prompt on when time is up or what the next exercise is. This means I have to keep my phone in my hand to visually see what and time

Sound?. The sound is really weird. I can barely hear the voice prompt even when I turn my volume up. It’ll be loud for one or two words then become almost inaudible. Also, I’ve tried other free apps where they show an animated version of a person doing the exercise, so you don’t have to remember what the app means by “butterfly sit-ups” when you’re in the middle of your workout. Overall, I’m not liking this app so far.

Great help for a time-crunched mom. I need to work out and be challenged but I don't have much time and I decided to try out the app.

Great if you are short on time. You wouldn't think that in seven minutes you could work up a sweat. Add a second round for 14 minutes and you know you worked out. Love it for mornings I don't run or have yoga

Lost purchase with new phone. I purchased the other workouts for $4.99 and they are no longer accessible on my new phone. When I hit restore purchases, it prompts me to pay again. 😠

No sound. Very disappointed with this product, I paid for the warrior upgrade to remove ads it didn’t. And when trying a workout or stretch there is no sound. I have made sure that sound is all the way up, and that do not disturb is off, phone is not locked and that notification are allowed for 7 min workout. Update - fixed sound, make sure that the ringer is turned on. No if I can get rid of the ads when looking at the instructions.

Being Free, this is a Decent App. I haven't gotten very far in, and I'm not 100% able to understand navigating the features, but the initial workout seems well-rounded, and the voiceover is pleasant and well-timed.

I used to love it.... For a while, this app helped me stay in shape. I loved the guided routines, but when I the downloaded it, the voice was gone, and it was hard to keep track. Also, Im not the kind of person to pay for apps, and all but to workouts are free, and neither of them focused on one aspect. As of today I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Works great. This app has worked well for me in the past. The instructions are clear, there are videos if you need to learn the exercises. The app is a great way to get in some quick exercise whenever and wherever you are. Today my sound didn’t work at all. Kind of disappointed

Awesome app!!!. Gets to the point. Keeps you going. Not annoying voice. Great demonstrations. I did the first routine yesterday for the first time. Today I am sooooo sore!!! Can't believe how many areas of my body were effected in 7 min. But wasn't so hard i wanted to quit. I went ahead and upgraded and am glad I did because now I have a 7 min stretching and flexibility routine for just 7 min. Much needed after yesterday. I'm so excited!!! Thank you so much for this app!!!!

Great for busy mom. This is a great app with workouts as hard or as easy as you can do. It's super fast so if I wake up only a few minutes before my kids I can get my workout in. No more excuses unless that's what your looking for.

Is easier than you think. It goes by so quickly hat you can do a hint for 30 sec. love how quickly I’m done.

Apple Health integration?. I like the app so far - paid for the Ultimate Warrior upgrade - but would love two things: 1) Apple Health integration - currently does not register as a workout 2) Better use of Apple Watch functionality - currently no voice/timer prompts on watch nor does watch sync with phone app

Working from home works with this app. The quick 7 min program is great while working from home. Gives you the quick workout and energy boost you need.

Can’t hear sound queue and ads remain after purchase. I like the workouts. They are fun and unique. However even after I purchased workouts I still got ads when I watched the exercise tutorial. Also I have the volume all the way up and I can’t hear the voice cues to tell me the next exercise. There is nothing in the setting about volume so i really just wasted my money

Consistency is key. This app can help you do something regularly. Even 7 minutes per day, when done consistently, is huge for you body!

Busy Mom of Three. I love this app! I can fit it into my busy lifestyle and even my kids like to do it with me. I do it along with healthy eating and lots of walking. I think it's a great addition to keep me toned.

The one I keep coming back to. I'm not great about working out consistently, but when I'm making an effort this is the app I always return to. I can handle just 7 minutes and when I'm really motivated I'll do 2 workouts to make 15 minutes! I love their videos when I have no idea what an exercise is. They're short and good. I used the free version for over a year before upgrading. I think the upgrade is worth every penny for more variations.

Sound issue fixed?. Apparently the announcer is removed if you enable the “Tick Sounds Every Second” option. This was not the case before the update - I used to be able to hear both, but now can’t. :( However, the sound seems to adjust independently of the Ringer volume now - that is a positive change - I don’t lose my hearing when the phone rings or I get a text in the middle of my workout. :)

Does the job you need. All of zenlabs apps do a great job passing yu through a manageable but results oriented workout. This is no exception. If you want to see toning results, follow the high intensity prompts. You'll be amazed at how quickly you get stronger. I like how these apps are always streamlined and clear to follow without a lot of extra fluff.

Workout review. This workout really made my muscles burn and it was not too challenging but it was challenging enough for my body!

Great app but...... This is a great app for people like me with not much time left for exercise . But..... it would be splendid if I was able to sync it with my fitness Pal from UA.

Quick & challenging. Easy to follow along; I enjoyed stacking the 7-minute workout onto my walk/run for a well-rounded workout :)

7 Minutes to a Stronger You!. These HIIT workouts are challenging but do-able. I'll do one in the morning and one in the evening, and feel the results. A time-saver and a muscle and stamina builder!

Courageous. I used to Love this short 7 min. workout. It wakes up my body in the morning and makes me feel invigorated. However the app AHS gotten very glitchy now. The timer does work right now. Maybe needs updating since all of the iPhone updates.

Great app. Nice app no equipment needed this can be done while traveling and has some nice intensity. I wish there were more variations!

Awesome App!!!. I am a special educator so by the time I get home, I'm absolutely worn out. I am, however, trying to live a healthier lifestyle by eating better and exercising. The 7 Minute Workout app allows me to get in a workout and feel great afterwards. I highly recommend and I would love to upgrade to Warrior.

Excellent 7 min HiiT work out app. This app lets you know what is com and has in-exercise timing. Better than my other 7 minute app.

Problems with the sound. The routines are fine butter sound doesn’t work so you have to keep an eye on the timer and it distracts you, many times I have kept going and I realize I am already in the next workout. I hope they fix this problem or I’m going to have to go for a different app

A Busy Teacher/Dad/Husband/Entrepreneurs Dream. I am busy. I mean really busy. Between being husband, a father to two preteen boys and an 8mo old, an educator, and an entrepreneur I have very little time to workout. I tried this app after an incident where my pants ripped from the extra 4 inches I gained around my waistline from the inactivity over the past few months of trying to normalize a schedule with a newborn (still waiting on that one). This app was a life saver! Literally. It allows me to get a quick workout in during my conference periods at school. I do 1 round three times a day. It's challenging enough to get your heart rate going but not too challenging to where you give up after 2 days. Its quick. You need little to no equipment. And It's an awesome way to ease into a fitness routine.

Pretty cool. I spent $4 to get the full version which was well worth the money. App works great, has 5-6 workouts so you don't get bored. Can adjust the time so it fits into your schedule.

Eh. I used to use this (free version) often but fell off the workout wagon. When I relaunched it, after a big hiatus, I discovered nearly all the free features were gone. There is no customation available and the workout is pared way down. Not a fan of the new free option at all.

Great workout app. Tutorials make it easy, you can adjust your workouts, and 7 minutes is an easy amount of time to spare for a beginner!

7 burning minutes. Great quick workout that is capable of being performed in any location, on the go, traveling, at home, at the office. Love it. Been using the app for years and still.

Great workout. I enjoy this program a lot. 7 minutes does not sound like a long time but this is challenging. I have free version but will probably upgrade.

Great, but . . .. I purchased this a few years ago and it was great with the tick sound, halfway point notification, and next exercise notification (“next exercise - wall sit”). Now I only get the tick sound with no exercise notification. If I want to know what the next exercise is, I’ll need to keep my phone close so I can read it on the screen. It’s only an issue because I purchased the app with that feature and now that feature is no longer available to adjust in settings or otherwise. So, if you like publishers that maintain the features you originally purchased, find something else.

Great for getting back into working out!. I'm 53, a teacher, and a mom. Life is busy and exercise always seems to be what gets skipped when time is short. With this workout there is no excuse. One cycle in 7 minutes and I really feel like I've worked out. It's easy to modify if you're not quite ready for all of the exercises and if you want a tougher workout, just do the cycle again! Love it!

Even a busy mom/teacher can do it!. I love it! With just a spare 7minutes I can get in 2-3 a day without any extra equipment and I feel amazing afterwards!!

Quick and choices. Covers good body areas. Some are challenging , probably more actually but still new to program.

Love it!. Love this app! It's great for those busy days when I cannot make it to the gym. I know I can clear 7 minutes to help keep my body healthy.

Broken!!. A recent update has wrecked this app for me. I can either hear the tick counts or the voice prompts that indicate what exercise is next, and how many seconds left. This is very inconvenient. I’ve been a user for over 18 months, and have two other people in my family who use the app. We’re almost look for an alternative app now.

So far so good!. I've only been using for a week but seems like a great app for beginners and if you just need to squeeze in a quick workout. I haven't tried any of the advanced workouts at this point.

Zen labs works for me. I tried a few work out apps. I come back to zen labs because the apps have a pleasant voice and gives me data during 7 minute the workout. I have done the C25K and ran a 5K and now I am using the 7 minute work out. I will also start the plank challenge. I wish the apps connected to my health app and watch. Maybe it is a privacy issue IDK. I wear glasses and had trouble seeing the sit up count but no biggie in the end. Thanks for making a well thought out app the design is good.

Quick and Intense. It’s a quick and intense workout when you’re short on time.

Love It. I absolutely love this app. I was looking for something that had a variety of exercises, an interval timer and is time efficient. This hits all 3. I would definitely love to try the pro version. Well worth it.

Frustrated. Just downloaded the app and giving it a try. Every time I go to the instruction page an ad pops up and locks the app. I cannot read instructions or watch the video. The ad pops up with an x to get out of it but does not work. The link to go to whatever is being advertised doesn’t work. I’m taking screen shots of the instruction page before the ad pops up so I can read how to properly perform exercises...very frustrated.

A good quick workout. I love that I can pause the workout to see instructions for each exercise. The structure of the workout is great although it would be good to know that you need to have a chair ready nearby for the step up and triceps dips. The 7 minutes goes by very quickly!

Wanted to keep going. What a great app! Have tried other “7” HIIT apps before but keep coming back to this one. Love that there is now a second set of exercises for free. Easier on the pelvic floor. Just match it with any “power” playlist from Apple and you're set.

Effective for newbies. This app alone will not improve a persons lifestyle, nor is it effective for a person who is used to advanced, intense workouts. That said it is a great app for someone starting out on their health and lifestyle journey. It's also good at just getting the blood pumping in the mornings.

Great workout. I like the simplicity and timer. Would like to have audio as well doesn't work on my phone. Great for a short effective workout without equipment.

Another great motivator!. Great pacing, easy to follow. Just using the free version but still good workout. Great backup to the C25K app!

Good basic app. I only have the free version, so obviously the workouts are limited and you can't choose your own activities, although if there is something I don't want to do, I simply do another exercise and still listen to the timer function. Works great as a motivator because each exercise is only 39 seconds long with 10 second breaks inbetween which makes it seem really easy in my head. It also counts you in and tells you 15, 10, 3 seconds left which is great. Also the workouts may be short but it really does get your heart pumping, and even made me sweat a little (or I might just be unfit), great for beginners as it explains properly how to do each exercise. Overall, 4/5 for the basic version

No support. I’m only rating 1 star at the moment as I paid for the app because I was offered a 40% discount via the app. I’ve ended up paying full price and cannot make any contact with the developer. The “feedback” in app isn’t active, and I can’t submit a request via the website. Feeling ripped off and disappointed.

So far so good. Only early days in my plan to improve my fitness, but works up a sweat, gets the body moving and lungs working. Something must be happening!

Mummy's little personal trainer. This app is great! As a busy Mum of three young boys under four I need to be able to do quick effective workouts in between nappy changes and making food. This seriously does the job! The video demonstrations and written explanations make each exercise easy to understand. The types of exercises are well chosen to make sure you're getting a well rounded workout. I can't recommend this enough, I get to work out in my time, in my own environment. The kids cheer me on and even join in themselves (they love Jumping Jacks) What are you waiting for? It's only 7 minutes!

Easy to find the time. A great workout that is easy to do.

Only 1 free 7-min workout. It appears there are 4 more workouts for $1.19 - unclear if that's per workout or for the rest of them. Good voice counting you down and advising you of the next workout. Clock kept the time but was somewhat bumpy...it would freeze at 0:19 then quickly catch up 3 seconds later at 0:16.

Great addition. This app has been a great addition to my workout. I have been doing the sea to 5K and find myself getting stronger and stronger. I use this app at the beginning of the end of my workout to add exercises to build my core leg muscles speed and flexibility

Easy to use.. A quick way to get your workout in and keep you focused!

The buzzing. The workout is good but the buzzing every 5 seconds along with the voice reminder makes me want to throw my phone across the room. Get rid of the buzzing. Makes me want to find a different app.

Good workout. Good workout for the time spent. Might be better to do side plank as 30 seconds per side instead of counting on people to switch after 15 seconds.

Healthiest new routine you can develop. This is the best thing I do for myself, feels a million dollars !! It builds up your core and stretches muscles you don't regularly use. Among the 5 sites of the same, this one is the best with clear helpful instructions of what to do and what not to do. Thank you !

Great exemplary workout app. I love the fact you don't have to google what each exercise is. Instead you have everything explained in detail, including a video to show you exactly how it's done. Very simple, yet pretty great. However, I would love to have more workouts to exercise with, but I do understand this is a newly-released app and I'm looking forward to see how it goes forward from here. For the moment a 4-star rating would do, but I'm sure I'll gladly bump it up to 5-stars with forthcoming updates!

Motivating!. Great app to squeeze in pockets of activity in a long day at the office!

Just started but so far so great. I love tagging these workouts on to my daily run to get in a bit of toning. Hoping they vary as first two workouts were exactly the same but perhaps that’s all the free version permits?

Disappointed. Had to pay for this app in a bundle. Not sure why as now they went and changed it to a subscription so it didn’t matter. This app is no better than all the other 7minute apps.

Beginner. This is exactly what I needed. Like many, time is an issue, and that's why c25k appealed to me to start. I'm still working on my 1st round of c25k, but feel like there was occasionally an opportunity for more, but I needed to be fast and different than running. This workout is fantastic. Only 7 minutes of my time and working out parts of my that running wasn't getting to. I'm excited to see some results... And to get better at wall sits and push ups! Being only 7 minutes is do motivating!

Get your sweat on. Great addition to my weekly routine and perfect for those of us that don’t have gym memberships or travel routinely.

Easy and Straightforward. Just downloaded it and tried for the first time. Went with the workout on the screen and it was easy to follow. Wish there was an option to view the exercise when you're in the workout itself instead of only before, since I was confused on the push up with rotation, but I figured it out based on the picture. Also if there were an option to change the exercise during the workout that'd be great. I don't always have time or patience to go through it beforehand to check. Like today stand up on chair was an exercise but I didn't have a chair I felt safe standing on, so I did lunges instead. All in all great app Thanks!

Great at any level. Good way to start getting this post menopausal body back in shape

Not worth the download. The app is almost useless thanks to constant pop up adds. I had planned to use it in conjunction with C25K but uninstalled it the night I downloaded it. I couldn’t even explore the app without constant pop up adds. It only gets one star because I can not leave a 0 Star review.

Awesome workout!. As a full time working single mom, it's hard to find time for fitness but it is very important. I paid a personal trainer for 2 years $150 a month to go 3 times a week and do 15 minute workouts (because it fit my schedule) and I had awesome results. That is no longer in my budget and I run 3 times a week but needed a ready made routine that matched what I did with the trainer.. This is it and I can do everything at home or anywhere (as I travel for work) and I am so excited! This app is awesome and will be the balance I need for staying fit :)

Exercise Demo. This app is the best. I just wish there was an exercise demo during the rest period of the session.

Great workout. First time doing it. I did 3 rounds. Really good workout!

Promising. Easy to use, clear instructional videos, good cluster of exercises for a beginning circuit - however, it lacks the option to vary the circuit unlike another free 7 minute workout that I use. Also, in contrast to that one is that this does not provide an easier beginning level as an option. Allowing a few more choices like these in the free version would make it more appealing to those who are just starting out in getting fit. C25K was brilliant for us couch potatoes who knew we needed to start doing something active but were nervous and clueless about it by starting us off gently in the process. This app doesn't seem to match that attitude in its approach and style for this group of us. Hoping for more!

Great!. The app does exactly as it says! Easy workout to do every day and easy app to navigate.

Interesting little app. Not into paying for quick workouts? Then this app might suite u. The exercises are easy to execute, work for all body types, and take no time at all. The videos are good quality as well which adds to the appeal. I won't be upgrading so I can't say if the added features are worth it but the app is worth checking out if you're looking for a fast easy workout in the go.

Great. This is a great app. It provides a good workout for anyone who doesn't want or can't go to a gym for whatever reason. The exercises are easy to do wherever you are and you don't need a lot of equipment. Most of the exercises use your own body weight so you decide how easy or difficult you want your workout to be. Plus, it helps you get a decent amount of exercise in a short period of time, which is great for a person with a busy schedule. I'd recommend this app to anyone.

Text too small. No warning on next workout too hard to turn on audio alerts

Love!. I like having a "coach" to lead me along and this app does just that. Will definitely add this into my workout!

Great for beginners and runners!. If you aren't working out at all, start with this app! If you're doing the C25K, add this app in! If you are like me and finished the C25K and are moving on yo the 10K training app, add this app in! It's great for beginners, but it's also great for runners! Building up your core and leg muscles, greatly improves your flexibility, speed, and endurance! I've lost 50 pounds by eating better, training for and running my first 5K, and working out for even just 7 minutes a day! There are extra things that require the purchase of the Pro version, but I'm just using the free version and love it!

Increase the rest time for beginners. Increase the rest time to 90 seconds

If I can do it..... This is a great tool for beginners like myself or just about anyone. Everyone has 7 minutes and that includes rest time between. I must admit I haven't exercised in years and was not able to do all the exercises on first try but I'm sure I'll be able to if I just find 7 minutes a day. Try it!!

Fabulous workout for all levels of fitness!. In the comfort of wherever you are! :) A beginner can absolutely use more of the working time to rest between exercises (that's a lot of push ups to do if you are still training your body to do them!) and the skilled athlete can work the circuit more than once if they desire. Great app for what it's meant to be used for! :)

Not for me. Not for those of us of a “certain age” that just want to stay active. There doesn’t seem to be be a way to customize the workouts.

Best Fitness App Ever!!! No Excuses!!!. As a super busy and extremely broke PhD student, this app is a lifesaver. As I can complete my workout in seven minutes, I have no excuses. I love the easy to follow sequences, and it is a great complement program to the C25K. I can tell my endurance is increasing as a result of HIIT training, and my self-confidence is most definitely increasing, too! My warmest regards to the app creators. I can't wait to see future apps!

No audio. limited time & rest. No audio. Have to watch screen. Duration & rest only have a couple of choices. Waste of money!!!

When there is only little time to workout.... We all have busy lives, and unfortunately getting in a workout is what gets cut. With the help of this app, 7 minutes in the morning before work gets my day started right. If I have time later to go for a run or hit the gym, I still do, but when that time doesn't exist, at least I got in a quick, effective workout in the morning!

Great look and easy to use. This is one of the better 7-min workout apps I've tried. The app looks great and works well during the workout. There is also a link for each exercise with instructions and video on how to do it. And has 4 different sets of exercises. With the free version you can't change the workouts so I would consider the pro version that lets you track and customize workouts.

Super cool app. Bare bones app that gives a good exercise in your spare time. Even have my 10 and 3 year old daughters doing it haha

No excuses. Just when you thought there was no time, this app allows you to do a workout that really gets the body and heart moving. I was skeptical about it being so short, but I am amazed at how well it works! Even if I feel rushed in my day, I am able to do the workout and feel good that I accomplished something. Definitely a must download for anyone wanting to fit in a good workout in a small Amount of time. I only did 4 stars because I feel they could have played with the variety a little more, but nothing is perfect for everyone.

Doesn’t work. I have downloaded and purchased. I worked one time. I have restored multiple times. There is no access to the videos. VERY disappointed. Hold onto your 5 bucks, you don’t get what you pay for.

Love it!. I love everything they are coming out with! Any program that gives me limited amounts of time to workout is an encouragement and helps me keep going! Love the set up! The first workout is simple to understand and easily executed. I was slower than I thought I would be, but hey, it's my first one! I look forward to doing this again and again! Even my husband joined in and is looking forward to next time!

Workouts For The Busy Life. I am a busy man. I often complain about how difficult it is to get a decent workout in with my hectic schedule. 7 Minute Workout is a fantastic supplemental workout that is challenging yet not a huge time sink. This app can be used anywhere, and it provides plenty of heart pumping exercises while at the same time manages not to interfere with a busy life. It is very motivational as well. I can see me using this app a lot, especially when I do not have the time for a full workout session. Definitely worth the download!

RN. This is definitely a great app for a quick workout that is very effective! I can get my exercise in first thing in the morning, and still have free time before my kids are out of bed! C25k helped me lose a lot of weight and I'm excited to have a new app to switch up my routine! Thank you for allowing everyone to try it out for free. I've recommended it to multiple friends and co-workers!

Good basic workout but rip-off!. The basic workout offered in the free version is good; various exercises targeting different parts of your body, condensed into 7 min, definitely can make you sweat. However, the free version only offers one circuit. There are three more, all to be purchased separately. They also try to get you to buy the pro version, which promises 'multiple circuits'. With that, they mean repetitions of the same single circuit, not access to the other circuits!!! Real rip-off, unfortunately only found out after purchasing pro. Really disappointing, such an obvious money grab.

Run Apps. I really like this running tracking apps so far!

Not with the money. Upgraded in hopes to get a variety but it’s the same workouts everyday.

Updates aren’t always forward. The old, cartoon version was better.

Two choices. A cool app. Love the idea But hate the idea of ads popping up if I don’t know a workout.

Perfect for the person with no time to workout!!. I am a super busy single mom with three kids and a full work schedule. I don't have time to go to the gym during the day, and I'm too exhausted after work to even try. This is the perfect solution! It's quick but efficient, all it takes is 7 minutes out of my lunch break, and it helps me get over the 2 pm lull I typically feel in the afternoons.
