Great idea, terrible execution.. God where do I even start, I think a space where curvaceous women are able to feel free and desired is amazing. I had to constantly keep changing my preference to women, and still I got NOTHING but pictures of men on my feed. Literally filled with a bunch of dudes and SOME women. The app has soo many problems it’s just not worth it in the end. Despite me trying 5 times to purchase a monthly subscription ultimately it wouldn’t let me. I ran out of likes, and once I did that it just didn’t seem like it was going to renew so I was pretty much stuck in that department. The apps live matching feed for fun questions is a great feature, but there’s hardly anyone that you’ll ever match with. All in all I’d say it has potential but they need to fix a lot of the problems.

Glitchy app, terrible support. I liked the matching and messaging aspects of this app. I also liked that you could not see when others were last online and that it doesn’t link with Facebook; However, it is SUPER glitchy. I had the app for 6 months and was unable to send or reply to any messages for 2.5 of those months—during which which I was paying for a premium subscription. I would get a notification of a message, but the messaging app wouldn’t work, so I couldn’t see what the message actually said. I uninstalled and re-installed the app several times to no avail. Customer service is beyond slow and makes you feel like you’re the one that caused all the glitches in the design of their app. There is also a good chance they wont even respond to your email (I had to send multiple emails just to get a response). After everything was said and done the only compensation offered was 100 coins (which honestly was so stupid because I was paying for a premium subscription—what did I need coins for?) What should have been offered was two additional months for free. Plus, throughout all of this, never once did they acknowledge the actual problem, only that they would “look into it.” I took off four stars for the glitchy app, and the terrible and unprofessional customer support. An app is no good if it doesn’t work, and after reading others reviews, it doesn’t sound like they’ve fixed a thing.

Customer service is no help.. Accidentally purchased a one month subscription (thanks fingerprint) before I even knew how to really work the app! I immediately went in my subscriptions and cancelled but it already processed it for one month. Sent them a message through their feedback option and they told me to go about a refund by going through iTunes..iTunes only refunds if there’s something wrong with the app. Very upset that I now have to pay $20 (which is a ridiculous fee for one month) for something I don’t even know if I’m going to use. If it had been $5 or $10 then it wouldn’t be so bad and maybe I’d give it a chance but $20 is absolutely ridiculous. They should really have some better customer service as well. You should be able to cancel my subscription through your own app.

Its really match dating. Ive been using this app on and off since its been out and its usually great! Lately, its been having some new features. I receive notifications of matches and messages when I go to check them out, they were nice, good way to Enjoy the taste of life and find a good friend a great girlfriend and a pretty partner for life. Not easy because of people thinking but wooplus makes everything possible, we can filter out the people who arent looking for the same thing were looking for. It would save everyone a lot of time, and make the app way more desirable.

Too many fake profiles and fetish seekers. Dating app?! Please. More like a sea of catfish with a few people that just want sex. The app is a great concept and has some great features, but you waste so much time filtering through fake profiles that you just give up! Doesn’t seem to be any real control or moderation. You report on fake profile and they just pop up again (if they were even taken down in the first place!) Other apps when you report a concern you at least get an email saying they’re looking into the situation. Here it’s just silence. The few real people on here are always complaining in the community about all the fake profiles and how nothing is ever done about it. This is my second time using the app because I thought maybe i had judged the app too harshly before. Nope. It’s an unhealthy, unsafe place to be. If you’re not fighting off catfish then you’re fighting off guys that instantly ask for nudes. Doesn’t seem like anyone here is actually here to try and date. Just because I’m a big girl doesn’t mean I’m desperate!!! They really need to work on making this a safe place for users.

Unbelievable! I met my lover on a dating app. My friend recommended several dating apps to me. I created a personal profile and uploaded private photos on Wooplus, hoping to have some fun times. I sent out messages to men I am interested in and received some responses. They are very kind and open-minded. After several weeks messaging, I decided to go out with a handsome guy younger than me. To my big surprise, we had great times staying together for several days and we knew we are for each other. Love cannot be explained in words. Thanks, Wooplus guys! Great job! 

Horrible customer service. This is a horrible site and not very user-friendly. Your ability to set search parameters to look for potential people of interest within your area is extremely limited unless you pay to become a “VIP” member. I feel like everything on this site is rigged to get you to pay for a membership rather than exploring it to see if other people are using this site that live relatively close to you, particularly if you live in a smaller city. I would be happy to pay for a membership if I could see some value in it but as I mentioned before, the search parameters are so limiting (without paying) that it’s almost impossible if you live in a smaller metropolitan area. Additionally, it’s full of old profiles from people no longer using the service (I have a friend very surprised and upset to know her profile was still on there)and the customer service is absolutely horrendous; they’re impossible to reach. They have never once responded to more than a half a dozen email requests I’ve made about how to terminate and delete my account from their site. Absolutely zero response other than an automatically generated message that says the same thing every time! Stay away from this site!!!

Good Idea. - poor execution. This is a scammer and catfish paradise. There needs to be better controls and verifiers put in place. Oh and sex workers use it too. They hit you up offering to send nudes or invite you to their sites, etc. One catfish actually used photos of a friend of mine in another state. I busted him and within minutes he had another profile with a different name but the same pictures. Lots of overseas people even though I am only looking for people less than 150 miles from me. If the developers took the time to fine tune the application so it weeds out the opportunists, it might have a chance. Also fine tuning the advanced search too. I have ideas that would make this a better experience. As it is I am not renewing my VIP because it is a waste of money. Nothing but scammers and catfish.

Vip flaws. The app is great, it works, there’s a decent amount of people, even for where I live! But.... as soon as I got the vip pass, the way you search to see people close by or far away changed completely! Before the pass, I was able to see people from closest to furthest away! I seen tons of people just 1,2 to 10 miles away, but all that changed once my pass was activated. Once my pass was on, my search was almost all random, there was a ton of people who were about an hour away at the top of my list, tried to changed the distance in miles but it’s lowest is 100 for some reason (distance search tool activates when using pass) no matter what I did to my search tools I couldn’t get it to revert to how it was prior to paying for my pass. I reported this in feedback but got no help but some response that essentially said I didn’t know how to use the search features. Though they are the same on all dating apps. Save your money folks and stay away from VIP

I don’t think this is actually for meeting people.. There are a lot of features on the app like stories, chat and Top Picks. All seem nice for people who are interesting in looking and chatting. It seems perfect if you’re hoping to find a sugar daddy or some online clients. But, the geographic filter is behind the pay wall so you’ll be shown people from all over. I set it to the lowest which is 40 miles (RIDICULOUS) and was still being offered matches in towns 90 miles away. I am NEVER going to travel that far. I live in Chicago, I’m not going more than 7 miles. So, on top of the normal garbage every app has, you get people from incredibly far away. It’s just not set up to match you with local, realistic people you can meet in person. I used it for five days and deleted it.

Paywall with no trial. EVERYTHING is behind a pay wall. A lot of other apps usually keep special things like unlimited likes or super liking behind a pay wall but this is ridiculous. At least give a few day trial is what the VIP subscription looks like before we blow $20 ( at the least) on this all. The app is completely unusable without paying. There is no plus sized dating app that doesn’t work like this and that needs to change because we all deserve the love that we cannot get on more mainstream apps because of our size, regardless of our financial situation. It makes the people who manage the app look like money hungry people praying on the plus sized community who may be giving online dating one last chance. Call me broke or a complainer but at the very least give a trial so that we aren’t going into a purchase blind.

Not What I Expected. I wanted to give this app a shot. Sometimes plus size women are not well received on other dating sites and apps so I expected more body positivity here from guys who prefer plus size women. During some of the posts from site admin not to mention the messages you get from people, I learned otherwise. Ladies be prepared to be harassed for pictures no matter how many you have on your profile. Be prepared to be called names if you turn down someone’s advances. Just be prepared. The men on this app think that because you are BBW, plus size, thick, SSBBW (however you so choose to identify) that you are desperate and easy. You’ll have better luck finding a respectful guy on a mainstream site, church, the grocery store, who knows! Anywhere but here unfortunately. Profiles aren’t monitored as there were men who had a pic, but the lower half of their face was cut off and a rare few actually took the time to complete the profile to tell you a little about themselves. Then there are the people from other countries, pretending to be someone else (particularly stating they are in the army, marines, stationed elsewhere etc.) They have stolen pics of someone to create a profile. You figure this out by their perfect English profile, but non perfect, badly translated English conversation with you...so just a heads up before you decide to try it out.

Beware of Fake Profiles. This site is full of fake profiles, so beware. You’re smart enough to figure out who’s real or not just by asking a few questions. Unfortunately not being able to fashion a short sentence, paragraph, etc…missing words, almost computer-generated except a computer app, AI, would do a better job communicating. One example is one profile showed a nicer-looking photo, almost a model headshot and said he was from Seattle. When I asked him how long he’d been in Washington (as I used to live in Seattle) he replied that he had been in DC for awhile. After a bit more texting I realized he was not aware there was a Washington state and confused Washington, D.C. as the only Washington in America. And then he called me an idiot for calling him out on it. It’s almost like there’s an offshore call center somewhere that’s generating (fake) interest to certain profiles but not really doing their research on local (American) geographies where they claim to be living. It’s sad, really. So DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this site.

Great app. On one hand, some people are only looking for fresh memes, and some are looking for something a little more risquè. A lot of people waste time either having to filter through those that dont want what they want, or waste it messaging someone into a brick wall... This isnt just an isolated issue either, everyone who uses the app is likely to experience this problem at least once a day (if used regularly), so it would not only make your current customers happier, but pull in new customers as well, and we all know thats what its all about. Location is very precise its easy to use. Ones success may, like any dating service, be impacted by where you live (rural vs urban).

Less than desirable. To be fair, I appreciate that the developers have voiced that they are aware there is a substantial ways to go before this app is on par with some of the other dating apps that are on offer. I appreciate the effort and thought behind WooPlus so much that I found it worthwhile to pay the fee for the first month to give it a go...what I don’t understand is, how that now that I’m paying, have i stopped getting likes and messages? It makes me feel like I wasted my money. The search features and search filters leave much to be desired as well. I’m a woman, and while I have no issues with being complimented by women, I am not seeking a lesbian relationship...and yet all of my most recent messages and likes are from lesbian or bisexual women (some even married.) I’m only interested in men, only interested in viewing men–I think that should then not show me as an option to these women. It wastes their time as well as mine! I’m ready to just delete the app altogether even though I still have most of the month left of what I paid for.

Hard Subscription to Cancel. This is one of the hardest subscriptions to cancel. I joined with VIP status, decided this wasn’t the app for me. I went back into cancel on the app and could not. There is a place in settings that says contact us and when you click it, nothing comes up. I actually had to call my bank for Assistance! The poor young lady on the other line had to Google how to cancel this app which she told me was through iTunes the same way you purchased it. It doesn’t say that at all in this app. I just kept saying $5.87 coming out of my account every week from Apple and had no idea where it was coming from. Now, I have to figure out how to cancel this pitiful app! On the hunt I go. Beware! Not happy!

Hard to find people in your own area. I've had this app for years now and it works most of the time but the one thing that's hard is when you ask for people in your state or area you live. But instead you your suggestions for people are in different states like New Mexico, Florida, Texas, and Washington etc. I'd would like to find someone close to me that lives in the Denver area without having suggestions out states. Please fix this issue thank you and some of the features in the past that I liked to see back is rewind back if you accidentally swipe left or if you accidentally swipe right.

Great dating sites. This app is so so so great! It is very valuable to me in that I thought I would never meet someone for me. One of my friends told me about this app a few days ago, I just thought why not just give it a try, to my surprise, it turns out to work perfectly!! Here I can connect with great, fun people who are generally interesting and respectable. Most importantly is that I feel super extra comfortable as a big girl here. I was not discriminated against or anything like that. I enjoy posting pictures and sharing with others. I like what this app is advocating: everyone deserves love! Thats indeed what I want to tell everyone. I felt secure using the service as far as the people that I was matched up with and the terms of the service. The mobile user experience is great as well. HHH its so long, all in all, its worth a try.

Trash. I was only able to use it a few days after paying for the first month. The app completely crashed I can’t see matches access messages. I’ve tried to refresh it several times to no avail. There’s no option to shut down your profile the only option is to log off. It feels like they are holding my images hostage. I no longer want to be part of this app. I’ve tried to contact customer service but I always get redirect to create an account. I don’t want to create another account it’s a waste of money and time. Also, the few matches I had showed my profile picture as their profile picture. That’s very creepy. Fix this! Can someone please start over with this app?? I’ve asked for a refund hopefully it gets granted.

Try it because it will be worth it !. I have tried every dating app and have been on a dating app for multiple years . I was fed up and about to throw in the towel because every app I used I couldn’t find someone who wanted the same things I wanted or a guy who wanted a legit relationship. I was about to throw in the towel with dating when I saw this app I thought why not give it a try I have nothing else to lose and I’ve tried every other dating app so why not try this one ? Worse case I don’t like it and I can delete it and take a break from dating apps and dating . So I tried using wu looo plus and I have found a great guy who I couldn’t believe was real because he literally had so many qualities I was looking for I am so grateful to this app my life has changed for the better because I met a special someone I didn’t know existed so please give it a try I hope you find what your looking for like I did

Super nice customer service :). Held much doubt and hesitation when first downloading and signing up, cuz I read a few bad reviews about this app, someone don’t wanna pay for such a “trash app”, scam their money that sorts of thing. But as a chubby girl, I tried other dating apps then got hurt, many ads and fake on it. My bestie recommended me WooPlus, she said I could easily meet hot guys near me without ads or fake, and we were already on the same page since he wouldn’t be expecting a size 8 and judge. The app needs my location information, a bit bothering at first, I was worried about privacy as the Facebook leak and all that. So I asked help from their customer service in the feedback function on the app, they were super nice and promptly address my concerns. And they told me I could even check people by more filter options if upgraded to VIP. Well, I am just new here, but I might consider lifting the limits later.

IT’S A TRAP!. You’ll never be able to delete your profile and they have no way of contacting any customer support! Once you realize this you will try to delete your info and make it a “ghost profile” but they thought ahead and made sure you can’t! So your name, age and location are PERMANENT along with the inability to remove all of your physical details. Any company that pulls tricks like that is desperate and pathetic. Don’t download!! It’s a WASTE of time and A TRAP! I think a lawyer needs to look into this app/site and developers....just scrolling through the reviews I realize I’m not alone! Its funny how they never reply a follow up comment to the reviews talking about how they can’t delete their profile! I will be sending a shout out to several class action sites and contacting the App Store to get this app shut down for once and for all!

Nice dating app for big people. Very friendly! I have used this dating app for 3 months, it is great. At first, I think it was kinda boring, because only pay for VIP membership can you chat with others. But, 2 months ago, I want to have a try. Facts proved that it is worthy to pay for that, because I meet the right one at here. Not like the other app, like Tinder, WooPlus community is very friendly, everyone will be appreciated and respected, no body shaming, no judgment here. I have recommended this app to my friends, all of them love that and want to meet their love on WooPlus. Good luck with them! Besides, it is better if the match is closer.

Too many glitches and poor customer service. Have to give this app 2 stars and I feel that’s being generous. It’s super glitchy and the location settings are way off. People show up in my expired match list that I never saw were a match in the first place even when logging in multiple times in a 24 hour period. Messages/matches get re-ordered to the bottom and I get notified of matches only to never see them show up in my message list (perhaps they unmatch me before I’m able to check but I generally lack confidence in the developers at this point) I provided this same feedback to them directly but their response just made me feel incompetent. They denied the glitches I was experiencing and basically said it must be user error. Im not an idiot and it only discouraged me from ever paying to use the site.

App requests!! Please Read. I have had way more succession on this app than the generic tinder and bumble which are now filled with hookups, but there are a few things on this app I would like to see, there is no preference to set a distance, I’m seeing men in my feed from Montana and Florida all the way across the country, I would also like the ability to delete an unwanted conversation or match, I would also like to see a online status, or a “this person was was online at this day or time” to weed out any unused profiles, or see if a current match is online for chat? Other than these three improvements I see this app as five stars! If these things are major issues for you I wouldn’t use the app!

Just ugh. So here’s the thing, I’ve had this app for a day. In that time, my location was showing Canada even after allowing the app to view my location. So I was seeing people in Canada. The other issue is the cost, understanding the need to charge people but you literally can’t do a thing unless you’re paying for premium. The issue with paying for this app is the lack of effort they require from people when it comes to their profiles. Very limited space to write about yourself. Vague questions, lack of personal questions and this leaves people to not even try, which then lets me know these men are here for a hook up because they think all fat women are easy. If that’s the standard and expectation I can use another app for free to yield the exact same results. So why would a pay for this? Especially at nearly $20 just for a month, even just to try VIP that’s way too expensive for what little is offered. I’m sure there are other features unlocked with premium, however this app is not worth that premium price point. Overall I’m bored with this app, and even more nervous using an app aimed at people with my body type than I am using a mainstream app. This lack of consideration and thought when developing this app could potentially be dangerous and damaging to its patrons. It’s unfortunate because they were on the right track but this is terrible.

Great concept but disappointed use. I think it’s great that this app was developed because those who download it know what the general pool of candidates would be. However, this app needs major improvements. I recommend more prompts that open up conversation. And, is it necessary for people to add their salary info? The major downfall for this app is that it has very limited usage UNLESS you pay for their membership. You cannot see ANY of your likes unless you’re a paid member and only have about 10 likes / “say hi’s” before the ad to purchase their membership plan pops up. I think a couple days trial would be nice as people are getting used to the app and can see what they’re possibly getting in to before committing to the membership. I understand funds being necessary to keep the app running but either give more leeway with the features or offer a trial period for the membership.

I used this app in 2018 in NYC. I used this app in 2018 and the guy I met on here, is my best friend, boyfriend, soon to be husband, and soon to be father of our child that’s on the way. Maybe it’s luck that we met on here and he turned out to be the best person ever or maybe it was meant to happen. I will never know but I would like to thank this app for pairing us. I hope anyone who goes on this app looking for something more serious but really struggles with being social finds what they are looking for. But remember if one doesn’t work try to match again. LOL. For me it happened very quickly on the app. Also be safe ladies and gentlemen.

Location. I like the app a good bit. The only problem I have so far is that once I start to run out of people that are near me in the first section, I have to go to the second section to look at more people near my location, but I can’t show that I like them without sending a gift using coins or paying money to be able to send messages. I’ve paid money to be able to message and it’s been worth it, so not a big problem there. Honestly, I would like it a lot of the section where we get to like people is able to be set to within a certain distance, or if you had it to where we can earn coins by watching however many ads per day.

A step in the right direction. Didn’t have any luck with this app, but that doesn’t mean you won’t. I like that it’s not an endless swiping app. Each day, they present approximately 20 ppl that fit in the filter you’ve set. There’s a wall where all the people in the app can chat with each other, so it’s possible to see other people (but it’s not filtered by location). Each photo uploaded is reviewed by an actual person, so you’re not going to see any weird profiles of cartoon characters or blank photos like on other apps. I rated it low because came into my inbox without me matching with them. This led to many scam profiles contacting me. They all used the same lines 😂. I’ll give them a credit for swiftly banning those profiles. There are a lot of glitches that happen within the app too. I’m sure they will clean that up in the future.

Could Be Great. I love the idea of a plus size dating app. However this one needs a lot of work. You can set dating preference parameters like age and distance, but the app does not take them into account when showing you profiles. You’ll get suggestions 300+ miles away in your Discover/For You section. There are a ridiculous amount of empty profiles, which isn’t new if you’ve ever been on a dating app, but it seems like there are even more on this one. It feels like the report and block options are useless. There are a lot of bots and when you report them nothing happens. And if you block someone who was inappropriate to you, their profile still shows up on the social media portion of the app. I love that there is a place made for plus size people to meet each other! And I do like the “moments” part of the app. It’s like a little Instagram feed in the middle of everyone’s profile and I think that’s unique. I want to love this app! I really do!!! But there are so many issues and bugs. WooPlus, please fix these issues.

Worth a try. To be a fence-sitter, I think this app is worth a try. Honestly, there are a lot of dating sites that try and do this but this site is the best because these people truly wanna help you. I met some really great people on here. As a curvy single woman, I have tried so many dating apps, general like Tinder or Bumble, specific for bbw like BBPeopleMeet, BBW admire and so on, yet I always feel uncomfortable being there. But wooplus really makes me feel good. I think it is a good way for me to meet potential people to meet and date. I am happy with their site so far. I think this site has enough search parameters that you can search for someone who is fairly compatible with what you are looking for. I am satisfied with the type of guys the searches resulted in. Of course, there are many places they need to improve. All in all, its worth a try, maybe I will meet the one!

Totally disappointed. I have been happily using this app for quite some time now. I wanted to start fresh so I recently deleted my profile and that's when things got a little weird when, I reopened to start new. For starters I was getting profiles from people who are more than 100 miles away from me. Almost 2 Hours away. I had this new profile for maybe 2 months and then out of nowhere I was booted from the app for some kind of violation. I did not have any kind of provocative photos. I was not harassing anyone for money or anything like that, so I can imagine what I was booted for. The only thing that really came to mind was that somebody was upset And reported my profile. Fine... I decided to reopen My profile. I don't know what I did in less than 4 hours, but my account was booted again. Now my issue with this is,what could I have done in less than 4 hours to get my account rejected again? There is zero warning. No review of my profile seemed to have been done. And there's no way for me to get in contact with customer service to fix this. I'm really upset about this because I genuinely enjoy the woo plus app out of all that dating apps that I have tried This has been a great app to me as far as body positivity goes. I wish to have my profile that can be able to continue and meet a potentially great person.

Reset?. Edit: So apparently the profile reset was my fault, because I hadn’t used the Facebook login originally. That doesn’t excuse the fact that the amount of quality matches is basically 0 in my area (southern Arizona). And now there seems to be a bug where the “liked me” matches don’t go away, even when I swipe left on them multiple times because I have no interest in a sugar daddy. The most recent update completely reset my profile, coin bank, viewed users, everything. The only thing that wasn’t reset was my purchase of VIP status (or whatever they call it) but that was because it’s saved through my Apple account. There are already so few quality matches in my area—most of them are old enough to be my father, ewwww—that I’m probably just going to delete the app in a few days. Guess I’ll have to find love elsewhere.

I think found my ONE. Thank you guys! I’ve found my love here. He is super nice and a real gentleman. I know it is not easy to find your man or woman, especially when you are not the right standard to the common people, but do not quit, you can find the one in right time and right place. Of course, Woo is the right dating sites for me, maybe for thousands of you who is like me too. I do not want to control my body very intentionally, and I am so lucky to find the one who likes all of me, from outside to inside. We have much in common, we share the stories of our life, and he cooks for me, aha, just love him so much. Hmmmm, okay, wish all of you find your man or woman soon here.

Horrible. Let me first off tell you that this website used to be really good when it comes to meeting people ever since they added this feature where they can cut you off from talking to somebody and you haven’t even had a conversation with them yet and people can just end a chat is so ridiculous. I used to really like this website and I met a lot of different people on here but it seems like they are a little slow with the times when it comes to finding out if that person has been on recently or they haven’t been on in a while and if that’s the case, they’re showing old profiles that no one has been active on. I would recommend anybody to stay away from this website.

Best Dating App I Ever Used. Yea, I am a plus size woman, and I am so appreciated WooPlus provides a platform only for plus size ppl to communicate, meet friends, find true love, etc. You can be yourself at here, be confident and find the sense of belonging. You will not shame with your size, your body and other things that you met in other apps. I have met many friends here, we share the same interests and find our confidence, we love here, it is amazing!!! Maybe you will worry the security of this app, it is totally unnecessary. Most guys are polite and respectful, if you find some suspicious one, you can report him and he will be banned in a few minutes. Hahaha, it is too much. Anyway, it is a great app you deserve to try.

Great app if it didn’t freeze all the time. I’ve enjoyed using this dating, and have felt respected where on other apps I normally do not. I am hoping that with time more people will use it. I like the idea of sending/receiving gifts to/from “admirers.” And the profile asks and prompts for more details, which is helpful. My one problem with the app is that it freezes A LOT. I get the same error message over and over, which is normally solved with refreshing or closing and re-opening the app. This makes me want to use the app less overall, and switch to traditional dating apps because they have to seem less glitches.

Decent but buggy. This app is decent but buggy. I have meet some really nice women on this app which is great. But lately it’s been showing me people in specific small towns in random parts of the country that I’ve never been to, thousands of miles away. I updated the app today, and it wiped out all of my matches from less than 24 hours ago. I don’t get many matches, and I got several last night, so this is disappointing. All in all though, good app, worth using. update: actually paid for the app and now all my matches are 6+ hours away, and I live in california so that’s really all there is to say. Also what is with the dumb notifications that just make me feel bad that I have no matches in the entire massive city I live in? further update: I moved to NYC and it only shows me women in PA, CT, DE and VA. 20-30 million people in the NY metro area and you’re matching me with people that it would cost $150 in tolls and gas to meet them while in the meantime I live next to all the public transit in the world.

Pay to play. Unless you’re willing to shell out $20 for a trial month to see if you like it, or take the leap and hand over $100 for the year (because it breaks down cheaper than the 6 month option), you’re not gonna get much out of this app. I was initially excited to try this app out, as many have pointed out that bigger girls aren’t always exactly welcomed with open arms at other sites. It was soon apparent however, that this app is just a waste of space on your phone. What you can actually do for free: Post pics Poke That’s it! You have to pay to message, to see who’s interested in you/poked you, and basically anything else that would constitute as communication with any other human being on the site. Why bother making the app free if you’re forced to pay to engage/literally do anything? Might as well sell the app, too. Without the subscription, it’s useless. In addition to that, the app itself is glitchy, at best. Maybe two-thirds of the time when I’m trying to edit my profile, it tell me there’s a network error. I’m most definitely not handing over $100 for an app that *maybe* works. Will most likely be deleting soon.

Work better than ever. I am a paid member of WooPlus, I dont like the limit of 24h of my matches, although it can promote the connection between each other. At first Im a little worried for some reviews said "pay for trash app", but finally I decided to have a try for one month. So I paid for this app, to my surprise, its not bad! It is worth a try. I can not only have filter option on location, distance but also on ethnicity. I only wanna meet people near me so I check users who are less than 10 miles away from me. It really works for me! lol, btw, Id like to say their customer service is nice, I had a location problem some time ago, so i reported it through their feedback function, they dealt with it rapidly, now its work better! Thx!

Horrible App Support. For such a “popular” app it has the most atrocious customer support. I subscribed as a VIP user for additional features. They gladly took my $ through Apple Pay but when I try to use the bonus features I keep getting asked to subscribe. I tried to contact support (which is only available through a feedback button which “may or may not receive a reply”—I actually did get a reply but the instructions made no sense!: “to restore your purchase, please following the following steps: 1. Click the button on the bottom right, and choose “Settings;” 2. Click “Restore Purchase.” Before you click “Restore Purchase,” please make sure to use the same Google Play ID as you paid for the VIP and make sure your payment is still valid.” First of all, the “button on the bottom right” of where? I’ve been through every option within the app and can’t find a place where I can follow these instructions. Second, I am on an iPhone and didn’t make the purchase through Google Play and third, my subscription in iTunes says it is active until November of 2018 so what am I supposed to do to “restore my purchase?”

Too many bots and suggestions are all over the place. Almost every other profile is clearly a bot. Default free Radius is WAY too big. It should be 20 miles. I should not have to pay to see someone not a 3 hour drive away. The more popular apps are 20. The daily profile picks are 90% useless. The first profile might be within the 40 mile default radius, which again way too big, and then the next profile is literally on the opposite side of the country and then back within the 40 mile radius, and then again someone like 6 states away. So you end up just hitting X on majority of the profiles because most people aren’t trying to hop on a plane. There is no way to disable the ANNOYING flash chat sound and prompt when you open the app. Seriously I don’t need the app to bing at me every time I open it. The send Hi message feature has precanned messages that are all horrible. Like no one would think any of those procedurally scripted messages are even remotely decent. Don’t pay for a subscription. They are lacking feature wise and have 0 control over the bots that everyone is complaining about within the app.

Ok. Like the fact that’s it’s aimed for us curvy women but it has many flaws. I do like that other apps let you write more of a bio about yourself before you are able to show off your profile fully. I also wished it would make you verify yourself like many other dating Apps do. It’s hard to even get through many of the fake profiles or catfish profiles because that is not a option this app makes you do. For example some apps make you scan your face so it shows it’s you in the pictures. I also wished I could Just say I want to be matched with people only in my state and yes I have let it mark my gps area. I’m getting people all over the place and I’d prefer someone in my actual area let alone state. I thought I’d be able to do more with paying for the app but it isn’t much of a difference besides being able to see more matches at a time and seeing more people who liked you at a time . This app has potential just needs some of these things fixed.

Literally just about everything about this app is disappointing saw an add on Tiktok and even though I usually don’t download apps off ads I see i decided to give it a genuine try and it was lack luster to say the least took 50 years for my gallery to load which was annoying but I was like whatever I’ll look past it then I started swiping and was going on about business as usual then I noticed the people I was swiping on were pretty far away from me so I went to the settings to try to lower my range of swipe preferences and it turns out you cannot go under 40 miles unless you want to pay for premium of course you can’t do a lot of things basic things that other dating apps allow you to do for free unless you buy premium amazing idea horrible execution and the bots are JARING

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!. Please don’t waste your time downloading this app. First off, you CANNOT delete your account!! So if you sign up and post your profile pic you’re stuck, you can even delete your pic unless you post a fake pic as a replacement. Secondly, if you take your time to read the reviews you’ll notice that they’re all fake reviews and the usernames are Asian and more than likely written by the creators. However, I didn’t notice that until after I signed up. You also have a limit of how many people you can see in the swipe feature, if you don’t want to wait 24 hrs to see more you have upgrade. But if I were you I wouldn’t trust this app with any of my debit or credit card info. I would say stick to the typical dating apps and just be sure to post pics of your body if you want to be sure that people know you’re plus size.

They changed the app. I have used this app On and off for several Years now. But this time I restarted and in a months time they changed it. They used to offer a daily pick of people that liked you, it would unlock one person who liked you. Sometimes it would show you the same person but that only happened a hand full of times. But still a nice option. But now not even one daily. They should at least offer this. I'm thankful they at least still allow chatting for free when you match. I hope you never get rid of that option. If you do I will never come back. And I imagine I am not the only one that feels that way. Time will tell what happens. I hope someone actually reads these messages. This has always been the original app for curvy woman and it's a good app but it could be great if they brought back this perk. Remember not everyone can afford to pay the monthly fee.

Not user friendly. I only give this one because if I could give it a -2, I would . I did not subscribe and decided I wanted to delete my photo. I went ahead and deleted the app but not after searching it top to bottom to figure out how to delete my photo. Since I did not subscribe it seems I’m unable to delete my photo. How many other people are out there with no real profile or person behind their account because they decided not to subscribe but they’ve got their picture stuck out here like me, inflating app users. What a waste of time. This thing forces me to put location in GPS tracker on. No thanks ! which is why I was trying to delete my account to begin with and wanted to delete my picture but without subscribing seem to have no way to delete it. If you could delete it as an admin that would be preferred. I read your FAQ on how to delete photos but those options do not appear for me as a user that did not subscribe apparently. FAQ was not helpful. Making it so hard to delete a photo is ridiculous.

As of right now this is my rating. So everything was great with the app. I’ve been on a few dates, one in particular has been very suspicious in the way he has interacted with me(pretty sure he is either married or has a live in girlfriend but says it’s his aunt). When I turned him down a few months ago he told me that he was moving out of the country for 3+ years. Just this past weekend he messaged me from a new profile because I’ve blocked his others saying his is back for good. I told him no thank you and blocked him again but now my profile is locked and I need to do a video verification to prove who I am, possibly because HE reported ME as the scammer! I don’t like taking videos and I have posted enough photos of me on the app to prove I’m an actual person. Plus I pay for VIP!!! Is this how you treat your customers??? I’m very close to cancelling my subscription, it is inconceivable that just because one person reports another as being a scammer because they can’t handle rejection that you put the other persons profile on hold! Especially a paying VIP

Love the idea and new update. I heard the promotion on IG. The influencer said, no body shaming, only appreciation. Then I tried it. At first i didn’t upload my real photo but a celebrity’s, yes, it got deleted by you guys, lol. Then, i upload my selfie, only my face, no figure, cuz i was cautious due to some bad feelings on other dating sites. One day, i looked through the feeds, found so many girls posting their pics with full body. They are smiling, beautiful and confident. And, got dozens of likes and praise. Somehow, i tried post one of my pics like them, yes, i got a few likes and comments and finally, chats. Those guys sent friendly messages, gifts. I think i have unloaded certain self defense. Maybe some day i can be totally free to embrace myself and love. Thank you guys, you are really doing a great job.

Restricted. It’s a cool app to use just too many restrictions like having to pay to be able to message, see who poked, who liked you, change settings and ect. Like you can only receive messages and respond to that, upload a photo for a status, and play around with matches until the next day and that’s about it. I hope you can give a little more freedom to users who wish not to pay $85 🙄

Awful.. I don’t know which has more scammers, this review page or the app itself. Actually scratch that, it’s the app. Single handedly the worst dating app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Predominantly all scam profiles and of the remaining real ones, they either spew abuse at you or can’t string a coherent sentence together. Truly, just don’t bother. The free version is getting more and more restrictive, it’s unusable without paying anyway.

Enjoyable. So far I’m enjoying the app, it isn’t as populated as tinder or POF but there is a lot more quality people on there all interested specifically in big body types which makes you comfortable to use and be yourself.

Meeting friends and not just for dating. Meet new people,this app shows you the people nearby, help you start dating. And even better met otherwise. And it's easy to chat with people. It just makes life a little better in my opinion.

Just get Hinge instead. I paid for the VIP account and I received many likes, all from spam accounts and people trying to move the conversation immediately over to WhatsApp in order to run cons. The few real people I managed to talk to basically stopped replying as they too probably deleted the app. Most of the users also seem to be in USA, which is great unless you live anywhere else in the world

Distance settings required!. I am having “nearby” people being four hours drive away! Who decides this is nearby? I want to be able to set a search location please. I will never be bothering with anyone four hours away, or even two!

Not enjoying this app. Only able to set age filters (in blocks of ten years) not distance filters so I keep getting suggestions for people who are quite far away. Unlike Tinder if you pay for a premium account you can contact anyone, and as such I have people well and truly outside by age preferences contacting me. App is confusing, and in the few days that I have been using it I have not matched with anyone. Disapponting. I will be deleting this app.

It's good. Not to bad

Very slow moving. I found my experience as very slow, in the sense that it seems like bumble, where the woman makes the first move. The gentlemen I encountered were very polite, respectful and seemed genuine but a lot of them were not online regularly, my guess is that this was not they’re preferred dating app. Hopefully the pool of people will grow in the future but in the mean time if you’re patient enough give it a go. Otherwise, you may need to look else where.

Cannot delete account.. Once you've made an account there is no option anywhere in the app to delete it.

-5stars Cancel auto renew!. If like me you’re silly enough to pay for a subscription just to try this app properly, good luck trying to stop it before the next billing cycle. I’ve searched high and low and can not find anywhere giving me the option to cancel the ONGOING automatic payments. No where on my phone or in the app itself is there an option to stop the auto payment.

Needs work. Cannot change profile name, app does not sync between devices, too slow so you end up sending messages twice looking like an idiot. There’s more, but these are fixes it needs NOW. On the positive it’s a good dating site overall, not too many scammers. Please address all the above and you have a winner.

Being shown people all over the country. I'm not understanding why the majority of people I'm being shown are absolutely nowhere near me in proximity. I set my advanced search preferences to no more than 60km yet I never ever see people who are even within 200km of me. This makes the app absolutely useless to me.

Things as simple as viewing messages are locked behind paywalls. You’ll get the message notification on your screen, but when going to the convo, nothing will be there. Weirdly enough after paying for premium the messages now appear. Absolute scum of a company. Do not waste your time

Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware. I gave it 3 stars based on the user interface and that there were several options for men in my country. However, I was on this app for a few months, and despite actually being able to chat with several men, which was refreshing, there is still a staggering amount of con artists on it. I can only speak for the women, but I’m sure there are men who have dealt with unsavoury females too. It is a cash grab for the developers but so is 98% of the apps in Apple Store. Be careful; give no one money, or bitcoins, don’t divulge your financial status, don’t assume the picture on their profile is actually them. If it seems too good to be true it usually is.

WooPlus Review. What I like about WooPlus is that the staff here work hard to create a chubby friendly / body positive dating app! If you are someone with extra curves or chub, or even someone like myself who admires them; it’s worth giving this app a try! However be carful that there are some people who really are serious about having a chubby partner, so in other words if you are losing weight this isn’t the dating app for you. And when it comes to paying for it, you only have to do this if you’re that curious about who liked you and send the first message, but if you already MATCHED with someone then it’s free! Another thing I like to ask is to be patient. Like many dating apps, depending on where you live sometimes you’ll get more matches sometimes you won’t. I did eventually meet my girlfriend at the time from this app! Even though it took almost half a year. 👍

Tracking me even without the app downloaded. I had got the app and selected to never use my location, which is used even with me saying no, and now it’s been almost a week since I have deleted it and constantly 24/7 the app has still been tracking my location even after it’s deleted and there is no way to get it to stop tracking. Bad app don’t download they are spaying on where you are.

I would rate 0 GARBAGE. This app is not worth PAYING for. No matches. Ugly people. You have to PAY to speak to someone.

Doesn’t work or connect anymore, sad. I’ve been using this app for a while and have some really great conversations on it. Downloaded the update but can’t connect no matter the wifi network, claiming network slow or whatever. Saw the beta on TestFlight and decided to download it hoping it would work, and it still doesn’t. I have an iPhone 7plus btw. How disappointing. Hopefully they get this sorted soon as I was planning on renewing my membership. If not..let’s go elsewhere ladies!

Great idea, not user friendly. The app marketed itself well enough for me to get a few repeats of guys I spoke to already. Comparatively, Tinder will block the bio if they write BBW. This app though isn’t that user friendly. It seems like it’s trying to have similar features to fill in, say hi, but is harder to navigate and makes you answer odd questions. The chat and matching in the free version is confusing.

Plenty of room for improvement. The app itself is nice, the interface is easy enough to look at and navigate. The actual structure of the app is seriously lacking though. I understand smaller companies using ads or various payment methods, but it could be better integrated. Another major issue is in regards to the matches you are given, I somewhat understand the rationale behind giving users limited cards and swipes only every 24 hours, but if 80% of those swipes are from people across the country, it is frustrating to see your swipes being essentially wasted, especially when browsing the "Picks" feed and coming across people who are within 20km to you, while being sent potential matches 600km away (this could be part of the scheme to get one to pay for premium use, but regardless of if you spend the extra money or not, the location utilization is terrible). Overall the app itself is nice and easy to use, but there are unending paywalls gives the feeling of getting users to pay out of frustration or desperation rather than to access a better experience, and I believe that payment methods have been better integrated in other online dating methods. It's a good take on a less-focused on and more niche market, but still has strides to make before it is a good experience Also note that many current reviews appear to be fake LOL.

App doesn’t work with iOS 11. App won’t work with the newest iOS , just says network connection is slow , yet that isn’t the case , speeds are fine and all other apps work . Please fix .

Not surprising, disappointed. Such a great idea. A LOT of cat fishers….but that’s not the app’s fault. However the incessant notifications is. Had to turn off ALL of them. Super pricey to use the extra functions like see who ‘liked’ you. Also when showing me profiles they keep showing me ones across the country even though I have a KM search limit.

Hardly any people here!. It seems that this site to has mostly a group of young girls who post pics of themselves and all they are looking for is attention. There are very few women from other ages groups. And there is NO chance of speaking to anybody without paying a fee. Don’t bother with this app.

Transparency. Mesakezuit here. You either came across this app from a 🍑site or TikTok. Like most sites like these you are encouraged to spend money just to interact with people (bots) that want to keep you on the site to spend money. But with this there is no way of telling if an account is online or not. You cannot delete your account so all images you put is still there. You have to subscribe 30 dollars a month to send a pre recorded message 😭. The app atp is bloatware would not recommend to install unless your into burning your money😝

Constant issues. This app is not working for me, keeps saying my network is slow but my network is fine. Tons of glitches where it sends me a notification abt a chat but when I open it it just says “null” Also, despite having blocked someone, they keep appearing for me to swipe through. Such a bummer considering how aggressive and unsafe dating apps can be.

Uncomfortable contact. Downloaded the app today. Set my search for guys 22-29. I keep getting messages from guys 34+. Makes me super uncomfortable having guys 10+ years older than me sending me messages

DONT GET THIS APP. Poor app. Only shows a few people. Most are hundreds if not thousands of miles away. Trying to cancel the app and its not letting me. I will have to waste a lot of time trying to get Apple to void it. DO NOT GET THOS APP. I THINK ITS A SCAM.

Not queer friendly at all. I found this app through a queer content creator but it is TERRIBLE. Like tell me your company is run completely by straight dudes without telling me your company is run by straight dudes. Also whoever is running your marketing is gross for coming after queer people with a product that is completely unsafe for us. Hire a queer person to fix this mess or leave us alone.

Easy to use. Easy to use app, but needs a lot of work. The search parameters are limited & don’t include attributes that are important. As well, if you “X” somebody, they never should be suggested to you again. It would help 100% if we had private forums, either to narrow down what you are truly looking for, or/and to find out if the potential person is real or catfisher’s, create events for dater with similar interests. There are so many ways the site could be improved. Fetlife actually has one of the best sites, so making a date site similar, but without so much bondage would make you millions.

Terrible App. —I tried this out very quickly, paid for it and it worked the first day. Then for the past 2 weeks it keeps saying “service not good, try again”. All my other apps work, I have full internet and phone service and cannot even send anything to customer service. So I could not even get a refund. —On top of that, someone stole my pictures and then messaged me on the app showing me they had my exact profile. This app is not safe, not good and a big waste of money. If customer service sees this I would seriously like to discuss the identity theft on your app, that was not expected and terrible to find out. Thanks for reading and hopefully the app gets fixed down the road.

Location location location. This app is a great idea. It introduces you to individuals looking for curvy, thick, extra pounds. There’s no surprises. However, why am I giving you my location and the suggestions I get are 3-6hrs away or completely different states? I’ve literally only spoken to two people who are in the same state and one is two hours away… Will paying for the app increase the odds or am I still going to get the same selection of people who are not within my radius? Makes dating even more difficult when you have to travel. Especially if you have an already busy lifestyle like mine. Not sure if paying for the app would be worth it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Weak Prompt Game. The idea is great, the execution has a way to go. There are only a handful of rather boring prompts to choose from, and you cannot choose the order, which limits how you would like your profile to be viewed. Also, if you decide to remove a prompt, it forces you to write something else or it will appear as “ “ on your public page. It feels clunky and not full thought through. Also, the “like” vs. “chat” is confusing as you can message anyone at anytime regardless of match status? What’s the point? I’ve also blocked people, just to have them “like” me again a week later. There do seem to be decent filters trying to keep the creeps at bay. I guess at the end of the day, it’s a dating app, so it’s never going to be perfect. But it would be nice to be able to create more customizable and interesting profiles.

Hard to tell who is actually near. Might just be me or my area, but women here don’t really seem to put interest into a conversation, I think I have a better chance using an app aimed at anyone other than plus-sized women or actually going out. Ironically I got a decent amount of matches on here. Aside from that the app recycles users for you to swipe through and doesn’t really give you a locale for you to choose from; what’s the point of me inputting my city if I get choices of people who live hours away?

Disappointed. I’ve used this app for about 2 weeks now. At first, you scroll through your “rounds” you hit the X to dismiss, or a ❤️ to like a choice. You can hit the ❤️ all day long. But if that person isn’t a paid subscriber, they’ll never know it. You also only get a few “Hi there” a day. So i purchased a month subscription, hoping for better results. NOPE. The majority of the time, the choices in your round are in surrounding states. There is no way to tell if a profile is currently active, or how long it’s been since they were active. I’ve sent a dozen “hi there” messages, and not a one has responded. I’m so very disappointed in this app.

Great concept, practical issues. I love this idea, but the app has some features I’m not a fan of. First, if you’re on a free account you can only set the range to 40 miles (I think), but then it still shows you options 100+miles away. Not only is that frustrating to wade through, but it uses up your daily “For You” choices like crazy. Second, VIP members can message ANYONE who hasn’t directly blocked them, which is incredibly irritating when you’ve already passed someone over.

What happened?!. To be frank, I’ve been on this app for a bit and I’ve been here for a few updates and the developers have really dropped the ball with this last update. It’s happened a few times but this is ridiculous where you can’t receive or send messages/likes. That’s the purpose of any dating app, to inform and engage, but that’s not possible because I haven’t received messages or likes since the end of December last year. It’s like, why should I keep using this app. It’s so bad, I’ve come across multiple people that even put it in their bio that they can’t get messages. I gave it 1 star because at least it’s a decent looking app.

Very fun and cool!. This is a great app and very easy to use. I love that you have the ability to like someone's photo or comment. That's pretty cool. However, I wish they gave us the ability to search by city for our potential suitors and to set criterias. Also, I would have loved the option to send a post on moments, what I like and to write a summary of what I'm looking for in a date. Other than that it's a fun app to use.

Ok In hindsight. However, there aren’t a lot of people in your location. Also, I know they can’t help who signs up but there’s no hot guys at all. I had it for a month paid for it and there just wasn’t anyone I was actually attracted to. It’s almost like they only have guys on here who can’t get any other females so they settle for the biggins lol no offense. I know it’s not the websites fault. But they need better marketing to get this site out there with ads on regular dating apps. Just because we’re big doesn’t mean we’re desperate.

Money Hungry. Never seen an app charge so ridiculously much per month just to use the bare minimum of an app. You can’t see any of your likes, you can only message “for free” if you both match with each other, not unless you pay a whopping $19 a month. I think it’s greedy and insulting and just another way a P.O.S. company gets to price gouge and manipulate the plus size community for wanting to experience normal everyday social events tailored to their demographic. Besides, if you pay that much for what’s really a very bottom tier app, I think you’ve got bigger fish to fry than finding a date 🙄

Unbelievable! I met my lover on a dating app. My friend recommended several dating apps to me. I created a personal profile and uploaded private photos on Wooplus, hoping to have some fun times. I sent out messages to men I am interested in and received some responses. They are very kind and open-minded. After several weeks messaging, I decided to go out with a handsome guy younger than me. To my big surprise, we had great times staying together for several days and we knew we are for each other. Love cannot be explained in words. Thanks, Wooplus guys! Great job! 

Not great, not terrible. It’s okay... I like the concept but there’s not enough quality guys on the app. It’s not that quality guys don’t like plus size women because I’ve met quite a few good guys on tinder. I think they just need to advertise this app better. Remove the “sponsored” people who get featured and paid to say good things about the app. Also the 24 hour limit for messaging is annoying. I work a lot so miss out on connections often because I can’t check the app every single day (and I don’t really want to date someone who has enough free time to check the app constantly lol).

Annoying. This app still has one of the most annoying sounds when you start it up, and it usually does it twice. It’s annoying, LOUDer than everything else by magnitudes and no option within the app or app settings in iOS to silence it. You simply have to turn your phone volume all the way down until it does its thing, annoying you and sometimes disrupting people around you if you forget to turn your phone volume all the way down before opening the app.

Great app if it didn’t freeze all the time. I’ve enjoyed using this dating, and have felt respected where on other apps I normally do not. I am hoping that with time more people will use it. I like the idea of sending/receiving gifts to/from “admirers.” And the profile asks and prompts for more details, which is helpful. My one problem with the app is that it freezes A LOT. I get the same error message over and over, which is normally solved with refreshing or closing and re-opening the app. This makes me want to use the app less overall, and switch to traditional dating apps because they have to seem less glitches.

What a drag..... I’ve sent in a few bug fixes and these people can’t figure out who does what. The feedback section said “email the people at this section and they’ll help you.” So I mail that section and guess what? Exactly! They say “go and email the feedback section from the app.” This app has a few bugs they can fix because it it quite clumsy and is hard to scroll through pictures. If you touch a picture wrong it goes off that page and back to the profile page altogether; now you have to attempt to scroll back to the page you were at previously. Sooooo annoying. We will see if any of the two feedback sections will figure out which one wants to do their jobs.

Weird and Sketchy. Tried the app, didn’t last an hour. The first suggestion they gave me kept glitching. I wasn’t interested, and the buttons froze when I tried to click anything, then the photo of him proceeded to have what could only be described as a seizure. Had to restart the app… Next, at least 3 of the guys the algorithm offered me claimed to be in their 30’s but looked like they were teenagers, like pre-pubescent teenagers. That’s super sketchy! I was immediately uncomfortable- just, no… who is screening these profiles??? That’s not ok! They also offered me a girl even when I said I was interested in males… something is up with the algorithm and just this app in general…

Basic functions. As a dating app, pretty great design. Easy to navigate and some interesting features. However, you can’t see who has liked your profile unless you buy vip access (about $20 for one month of use). You don’t get full list of profiles, have limited preference options, so how are you supposed to have a chance of matching with someone when you can’t even see who liked your profile? It’s a basic function you’ll find on majority of dating apps. As a struggling college student who can’t spare the $20 it’s very disappointing. Great app if you can afford vip.

Could Be Great. I love the idea of a plus size dating app. However this one needs a lot of work. You can set dating preference parameters like age and distance, but the app does not take them into account when showing you profiles. You’ll get suggestions 300+ miles away in your Discover/For You section. There are a ridiculous amount of empty profiles, which isn’t new if you’ve ever been on a dating app, but it seems like there are even more on this one. It feels like the report and block options are useless. There are a lot of bots and when you report them nothing happens. And if you block someone who was inappropriate to you, their profile still shows up on the social media portion of the app. I love that there is a place made for plus size people to meet each other! And I do like the “moments” part of the app. It’s like a little Instagram feed in the middle of everyone’s profile and I think that’s unique. I want to love this app! I really do!!! But there are so many issues and bugs. WooPlus, please fix these issues.

Not great. The app has a fatal design problem. You can not refresh to see who is online, near you, etc. This is such a basic feature to have and it made me cancel my subscription. Also, what is the point in the match game when it doesn’t have the algorithm to match people in your city, let alone state??? The developers could make this app work effectively if they actually cared about people meeting and connecting. They just want your money. I will never use this app again. Oh, it has been this way for years…just garbage!! Don’t waste your time with this app!!

Full of fake profiles and spammers. i’ve been on this app for a few years. on and off paying for it. Most of the time, fake profiles and scammers. clearly from overseas with poor english skills. I’ve alerted the developers but they have no incentive to put blockers because they want you to think they have a lot of users. Save yourself the money, find another app. While the concept is good, they are hurting themselves by not putting on strict controls on fake profiles or creating verification so that you only match with verified people or those with premium accounts.

Majority of Men Just Want a “Playmate”!. I’ve tried this site for a month now and majority of the men on this site are either: Married and just want a side fling, single and just want a safe sex FWB buddy or just want to have “fun” with no worries of having a loving committed relationship. However, there are a few real men looking for a healthy LTR and real men w/real profiles. But I’m just keeping it real for all the ladies that are truly looking for love and a committed LTR!

This app isn’t a safe space.... One of the most unique features of this app is the moments section, and it is not moderated at all. What’s worse is that there are no tools for users to moderate themselves. You can’t block people from seeing your comments, you can’t block users to avoid seeing their comments, and you can’t delete comments on your posts or threads. This has facilitated a toxic environment of verbally abusive and sexually abusive behavior. Men are allowed to call women fat, ugly, etc. freely, which is contradictory to the entire purpose of the app. And complaints fall on deaf ears. Not to mention the app is extremely glitchy. What a wasted concept. I’d give zero stars if I could.

well done. Best dating app! I have used tinder and bumble before. Started off with tinder, the people that it attract weren't after something serious. As for bumble, it has gotten popular that it's started to attract the Tinder users people can make a bumble account without the questions and prompts I like how the prompts are the key feature with wooplus and the app makes you/reminds to complete your prompts before matching. This allows you to match with people with similar values ?

Pay to play. Unless you’re willing to shell out $20 for a trial month to see if you like it, or take the leap and hand over $100 for the year (because it breaks down cheaper than the 6 month option), you’re not gonna get much out of this app. I was initially excited to try this app out, as many have pointed out that bigger girls aren’t always exactly welcomed with open arms at other sites. It was soon apparent however, that this app is just a waste of space on your phone. What you can actually do for free: Post pics Poke That’s it! You have to pay to message, to see who’s interested in you/poked you, and basically anything else that would constitute as communication with any other human being on the site. Why bother making the app free if you’re forced to pay to engage/literally do anything? Might as well sell the app, too. Without the subscription, it’s useless. In addition to that, the app itself is glitchy, at best. Maybe two-thirds of the time when I’m trying to edit my profile, it tell me there’s a network error. I’m most definitely not handing over $100 for an app that *maybe* works. Will most likely be deleting soon.

Just what I need. Great app for what I want, no problems yet, hopefully they dont start modifying stuff like most of them & mess it up! I dont mind that u have to earn coins or buy them to do certain things either. I mean Lord forbid we as consumers actually do a little footwork to gain something for our lives. But actually better than I thought I was going to be, its fun because theres a lot of people on and bears a friendly interface.

Incompetent moderation staff. I ran into an issue where, despite both me and my match sending a message and a response before the time limit, the conversation was marked as expired. I reported the issue and, after asking for the persons name (I can’t see that, the conversation is now expired!!), I was accused of deleting the match and to “be more careful next time”, something which I could not do since the conversation was marked as expired before I could view her reply to me, and the person still shows in my expired matches, so obviously not deleted. This smacks of a poor attempt to shift the blame when the mod can’t figure out how to fix it, or doesn’t care.

No. This app started off great now it’s not that great. The limit on certain things is understandable but what’s the point of using my location if your going to only show me people from another state and I can’t change that. Some preferences should be available otherwise the app of pointless. People don’t Willingly sign up for a long distance relationship. Another thing, I’ve seen profiles that have said they have multiple pictures but you can only see one what is up with that people need to see more than one picture. If that’s a money thing then that’s ridiculous. Doubt anyone does anything about this so I just wasted time and energy but at least I said something.

It’s great but. It’s a awesome app really but like this one guy really creeped me out and I actually left the app for a while I saw a text message on my Facebook messenger he told me he didn’t match me on WooPlus and he never spoke to me but that’s where he found me….I saw his face and he looked scary all I know is that man has my personal information just be careful out there like all dating apps it can be unsafe

fake. the people on here must be bots or braindead. the app doesnt retain any information you add. like height income occupation. if you get a match, you still cant see them on the messages area, i had used this app a while ago and i successfully met a woman off it but she turned out to be crazy. now the app is so different that theres no REAL people AND theres too many paywalls. this is supposed to be a curvy app but you have muscle models on here (guys) acting like its tinder. and then you have some females that arent what the app is for and also making it like tinder. or theres some older women (nothing bad with that) but they act and dress up like a 20 year old. (quit trying to catfish people)

I found my soul mate!. At first I thought this app was a scam and had nothing but bots. If you’re a guy it’s worth the money to pay! If I didn’t I would have never met someone so special. I didn’t believe those reviews I saw in the past about other dating apps when they say they found someone and their engaged/married. It’s true I found someone through this app and if I can do it anyone else can!

Hard to find people in your own area. I've had this app for years now and it works most of the time but the one thing that's hard is when you ask for people in your state or area you live. But instead you your suggestions for people are in different states like New Mexico, Florida, Texas, and Washington etc. I'd would like to find someone close to me that lives in the Denver area without having suggestions out states. Please fix this issue thank you and some of the features in the past that I liked to see back is rewind back if you accidentally swipe left or if you accidentally swipe right.

Could be better!. Too many inactive accounts and s*x workers promoting their garbage. Flash talk or whatever it is called never works. I always engage first and the other user is never confirming themselves. Thus, telling me to try again. The one time I finally got a match it was someone promoting their only fans. I am not interested. After updating the app there is now a thing that searches nearby people and it always says “no users nearby”. I wish you can find away to kick out inactive accounts. Update premium to where it is infinite. Why is there still a limit to how many profiles I can see a day? I will give this one last go until 2024. If not… I may just say goodbye to this app.

Mehhh. So the app is all right it’s basically Tinder but for bigger women, but sometimes there aren’t women on here that aren’t even big and they’re just slim. I would say it’s an all right app, but do not buy. VIP is a complete scam. It’ll say when you open a gift you get five dollars off and it’ll be $13 instead of $18, I bought it and they charge me for $20 even though I had the five dollar gift coupon immediately canceled it and Apple refunded it within five days if you aren’t using VIP is perfectly fine although there isn’t that many people on here.

This app is a scam. As a man who is into plus sized women I’ve literally only matched with one other person but use the app frequently. I know I’m not ugly as I use other dating apps and seem to get likes and dates out of those, plus I used to model lol. The point I’m trying to make is that this app is full of fake profiles all around and the only people that seem somewhat real are super far away (and frankly super ghetto). It seems like only guys that look like or act like Drake are the ones that the app favors. The app even offered me a VIP discount but it’s like I need the app to work and show my profile which it absolutely doesn’t. I honestly feel discriminated against.

Ehhhh not the best not the worst. One major thing I’ve seen is the only way to get to choose distance/location is buying into the app (great it’s a money maker I get it) but really - not going to. So I get stuck with the majority of guys (let’s say 9 out of 10) who live hours (like 5+ hrs) away from my location. And then there’s the odd profile of someone who lives in the general city (which is an enormous city — LA). But really I wouldn’t pay for this app, so I’m basically stuck chatting and texting guys I’d never drive to meet

If you have a disability and need use of accessibility features on IOS stay away!. Update today tried to install again sense update. What do you know they blocked my name I was using on the app! Inclusive app right? Still same stay away!Heard from support, hopefully accessability is on the way. I would have liked to give this app a try, but one big problem I am visually impaired and a major accessibility issue. Trying to sign up and add a photo I found a problem with the app and Voice Over. Couldn’t add a photo no way! I did actually reach support as many here say they failed to do. I was informed they are sorry hopefully may be an update to solve this problem. So heads up to others who need the accessibility features in IOS you may have problems using this app! I would have come away with a better feeling if they said “will address accessibility” not “hopefully. may”. Thought this was supposed to be an inclusive app? If the developers fix accessibility in the app I will be happy to try it and update this review! Again if one has a disability and needs access features run away for now!

I’m so happy that I downloaded this app over a year ago!. So I download this app over a year and a half ago and my significant other and I are so happy that we downloaded this app because were straight up soulmates…I would definitely recommend downloading this if your looking for a serious relationship with someone

It was a great app until the last couple updates. I liked this app- but since the last two updates it has been crap. I have to continually restarting the app because it freezes. I can sometimes get it to open so I read messages but will have to open and close the app 7 times before it works long enough for me to send a response. The latest update was supposed to fixes the bugs but it just made it worse. Now I can’t do anything in the app. The second I open it- it freezes.

I really do like this app, I came here to write a review to support the tech team so they can keep working on the bbw app. This app is changing the dating game, cuvry got a good dating app, too. It is a great ice breaker and enlists more of a response from the receiver. As I was reading some of the other reviews for this app I realized I get more any matches than I used to get the same amount I did on tinder. Either way, I will keep swiping and see what happens.

This app is broken. It’s really disappointing how terrible this app is. As a plus size woman, I was initially so hopeful knowing there was a dedicated app to meet men who weren’t put off by my size. I’ve tried several times to make this app work, but I’ve hit my last straw with just how many obviously fake profiles exist on here. I’ve seen at least 10 profiles within the past few minutes, all with the same answer to a prompt- “having a cozy movie night at home.” As an app creator, if you’re going to invest your time putting up fake profiles to garner interest, at the very LEAST create more variation in their profile text. At this point it’s just lazy.

I don’t like it. I don’t like the layout of the app, it doesn’t show a lot of information about the profiles it shows you, just a photo and a few questions they answered which are always the same. It also won’t save my preferences besides gender when searching. I mainly hate how people on there with VIP can just message you without you swiping on them. I have a full inbox of like 30 messages now from a bunch of nasty guys I didn't swipe on. You also can barely use the app without having to pay almost $20 a month for bare minimum! This app is not worth $20 dollars or more.

Says I’ve already Matched when I look at profile. So, yeah, the concept is great and I’m actually still seeing the first guy I matched with on here. Fabulous. Buuuuut when I review my likes for the day, I often get a “You’ve Already Matched,” WHEN I HAVE NEVER VIEWED THE PROFILE BEFORE or, if I have, I didn’t do anything because I haven’t been super active since seeing this guy I matched with in the first week (I’ve had the app for about 6 weeks now.) So now I get messages from guys thinking I’m into them, which is fine to open a dialogue bc communication is far better than reading a profile, but I’m getting messages like, “got your interest? 😉” when I have never viewed the dude’s profile. But other than that, I appreciate not being nervous about my size on here and feeling like a disappointment when I meet up with a guy. That’s a new feeling, and so worth the cost.

Fake profiles and skewed algorithm. My friend recently joined because she is plus size to me. I’ve been on app a few months on and off but I noticed all the people she was getting were relatively close to her in the same city. Those were profiles that never crossed my path. So clearly there is an issue with algorithm and we can neglect the fake the profiles and scams on here. There’s needs to be a better Authenticator process to keep that from happening. So the app is okay but that’s it okay

More ways to delete the ones we really don’t want to keep seeing. I wish I could permanently delete people… It’s frustrating to keep having the same men popping up on the screen if I don’t like them the first time not gonna like them the second or third time, so let me delete them. Also I would love to be able to just delete all the young men who pop up on my look who’s interested page… I’m 53 AM not going to ever choose to look at anyone in their 20s and 30s early 40s… It would be nice to be able to just delete them so they don’t just keep piling up…

Okay but not great. It feels like you get the least amount of likes on this app compared to any other, more expensive than the others, and it constantly is showing people 3-7 years younger than me. It makes it feel like a waste of time swiping because you get so little and they aren’t even making filtering to your preferences an accessible option. Since it’s quite literally the only app made for thick / plus size women, I feel you could be great but it’s a whole lot of not good.

My reason for 2 star rating. The reason I woo plus a 2 star rating was because I am a male and was also a paying member. The ratio between men and women on the is more than 2 to 1 with men grossly out numbering women. That’s great if you’re a woman but not so if you’re a man. Because of that nearly all of my searches were in other states some neighboring and some 3000 miles away. I did not give any likes or gifts because most of were either too far away or the ones near me had a ton of likes and gifts. After only a few short weeks I deleted my profile. Then whenever I left any type of feedback I felt like I was talking to an A.I.

Too many fake profiles and fetish seekers. Dating app?! Please. More like a sea of catfish with a few people that just want sex. The app is a great concept and has some great features, but you waste so much time filtering through fake profiles that you just give up! Doesn’t seem to be any real control or moderation. You report on fake profile and they just pop up again (if they were even taken down in the first place!) Other apps when you report a concern you at least get an email saying they’re looking into the situation. Here it’s just silence. The few real people on here are always complaining in the community about all the fake profiles and how nothing is ever done about it. This is my second time using the app because I thought maybe i had judged the app too harshly before. Nope. It’s an unhealthy, unsafe place to be. If you’re not fighting off catfish then you’re fighting off guys that instantly ask for nudes. Doesn’t seem like anyone here is actually here to try and date. Just because I’m a big girl doesn’t mean I’m desperate!!! They really need to work on making this a safe place for users.

Poor follow up. I met someone who I really enjoyed talking to but became suspicious when his location suddenly changed from Delaware to the UK. When I confronted him he said he was confused by the change. I was concerned he might have been a scammer so I reported the account. As I read through some of the reviews, it seems others users report being listed in wrong locations and now I am wondering if he was telling the truth and I ended something that had started out very wonderful. His profile is no longer available and I have never received any follow up from Woo support regarding my complaint. I would feel very badly if I wrongly judged someone and prematurely ended a relationship I was starting to enjoy.
