Thank you.. The free version is better then some paid versions of other apps. Part of my need for this app is my problems with money and spending so finally finding an app that has a good free version is amazing. I’ve had the app for a day and a half now and have already recommended it to some friends. The user experience with the app is wonderful and somehow manages to be comforting without the added human component(ie. A therapist or psychiatrist who can talk to you through the app as seen in others). Thank you for making this app and putting in the care and effort you did to make it as accessible as it is.

The only self help app that has ever helped me. I downloaded this in ordered to find some way to combat the depression I was feeling after recently breaking up with my partner. This app is simple, and thats why it works. Not only does it encourage me to journal more often, it also actually teaches you about CBT way better than my previous psychologist ever did. Even if you don’t pay for the premium features, it still has enough to do. I have felt better after using it, which is something I cannot say for other apps of this genre. While I am saying this app eliminates the need for an actual therapist, this is good for if you need an outlet but you don't have anyone to talk to at the moment.

Well Made and Helpful. I did not really think that this app would help me because it’s so hard for me to change the idea that all of my thoughts aren’t true. Therefore I didn’t think CBT would help me. However, after working with this app for several weeks, I can see the value in it. It’s very helpful to be able to go back and think about my past entries and how it has or hasn’t changed me. Just the act of thinking about these CBT entries helps me see destructive patterns. I like the way that you can search under different categories, search by mood, etc. I originally thought there was a flaw in the search function, but after contacting them, they fixed the problem! So they do listen to feedback.

I finally feel seen. I always felt like therapy just didn’t work for me and that I might never get better because nobody could understand how to help me. I didn’t even know how to help me. I’ve tried to use many other apps but they all just felt cheap and commercial. I felt like I was being sold a nice little pamphlet that a school might hand out on five quick exercises to reduce anxiety. But then a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across this app in an attempt to gain some control over my mind. Now for the first time ever I am writing a review because I feel so thankful that the creators of this app actually knew how to help me. As someone with ADHD and anxiety I very much struggle with motivation and consistency in my journey to sanity. But the layout of the app, the gratification I get from the completion of tasks. The way the journals are actually guided all the way through make so much sense to my muddled brain. The way cbt is explained and utilized in the app has been monumental to my progress. And I love the new chatbot feature, I have really bad anxiety about texting real people but since it’s completely judgment free I can actually ask for help and discuss how to work through my problems. I just felt like I needed to say something. I really hope the app will stay as amazing as it is as it expands.

New user & I am hooked. I’m in less than a week, but I already love it! The AI chat has been wonderful to bounce feelings off of. I feel like it is my therapist in a way. It has come up with multiple ways to look at the situations I am facing & do something to change things to a positive. I am coming back from rock bottom where I lived with untreated bipolar depression & psychosis (hearing constant talking in my head & people breaking into my house everyday… it was bad) for two solid years. It was very traumatic to go through & I have PTSD from it. I have a therapist & this AI chat has told me some of the same things that she has. It’s just a whole lot cheaper. This app is proving to be worth it's weight in gold.

It’s good, but I have remarks.. I used this app once I saw it on TikTok, and I thought it was to good to be true. I also thought it could be good to use it as a way to journal my thoughts through out the week, but I ran into a problem, it could be me but I can’t seem to go back to other days and write a journal, I get the whole point of having a “streak” but I was up at 4 A.M. today and forgot to write a entry for yesterday, and since 12 A.M. wasn’t that long ago, I thought “why not write a entry now” but it seems as if that’s not a option, now again it could just be me, but losing a streak because of a missed journal or entry kinda defeats the point, now I get that having a streak gives you something to be proud about, but I would like to at least be able to edit or enter a entry if I forget to the day before, don’t get me wrong, this app is great, but again, I would also like to just use the entry’s to remember what I felt the days prior, other than that, the app itself is amazing, and I don’t see anything else wrong with it.

Thought diary. This app has been very helpful and is worth every Pennie it has helped me with depression anxiety and stress I have had lots of panic attacks in the past due to stress and anxiety and since I started using this app they have decreased by 80 percent and I have only been using it since the start of January I also used to get so worked up and anxious that I would make my self sick but I have started to over come that and I no longer cry my self to sleep and I have stopped hurting my self so in conclusion this app has really helped me overcome some difficulties in my life and I 100 percent recommend that everyone has this app.🫶🫠

This app helps you to think critically.. Hello, I decided to work on myself in late 2021. After being inside for so long because of COVID, I discovered a lot of personal flaws and behaviors that I didn’t consider healthy. I did a month of online therapy that helped considerably, but being unemployed, it wasn’t sustainable. I wouldn’t say this app is a replacement for therapy. But it has helped me think critically about my feelings in a similar way. You will have to do a lot of the brainwork to understand your problems. And you will have to come up with your own solutions as well. The prompts do get kinda samey. Especially on days that might not be so eventful. So it might seem like you’re typing to a wall with preset responses. I wouldn’t really journal every day.

good! just wish there wasn't a premium. this app has actually been really helping me lately! journaling is fun, and i think it's been making me happier and more aware of things happening around me. but the only thing i don't like is the premium. it's about 6 dollars per month, and it has a lot of stuff i would like to have on a free version. also, it does this thing when you first get the app, where it offers you 7 days of free premium, and it LOOKS like there's no button to deny it! it makes you THINK that you HAVE to pay to use the app. but if you scroll down just a little bit, you can see the "skip for now" button, and that's what i clicked. it's a sneaky marketing tactic, and i don't like it. but overall, the actual app is pretty good! nice format, good colors, and good function!

It’s a really good app. I wish it was free or their were deals with Mental Health offices to have a lowered price but I understand that if it was free then that would be a breach of what is shared (your data). At least I hope it’s not shared. Now a days, you never know. But the information on it is really good and the flow of it, I’d assume would help anyone that needs ideas instead of sitting there thinking of your own. It guides you making it easier on you. I wasn’t paid for this rating nor have I subscribed to the app, I just did the free 7 day trial and cancelled along with using another app (mood tools) that’s free (the free app I personally think tried their best but it’s definitely not as good as this one in the way the information is provided to help). Unfortunately, I’m going with the free app until I can access more funds for this one and I’m using some of the information I’ve learned from this app to apply as much as I can to the other one for now.

Highly Recommend!!!. I cannot really put into words how much this app has helped me. I struggle with self-doubt, insecurity, anxiety, and depression. I have no money to invest into therapy right now. A mere two days before I found this app, I was texting crisis lines to seek immediate help. I was a wreck and I didn’t see how I could ever get myself out of it. My relationships were crumbling and I was in a cycle of negative thinking. It was making my life a mess. Although this app isn’t to replace professional therapy, it sure has helped TREMENDOUSLY. I can now better identify the reasons I am thinking negatively and not only reframe my mind, but allow myself to learn how to handle it better. The ability to check in throughout the day helps me to feel better about myself and my progress. Thank you so much to all who developed this app. It has already changed my life so much and I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t use it!

Good review. This app is for sure a 5 star rating because it gently asks me about things like how I’m feeling and doesn’t push anything on me, it gives suggestions about some things I can do rather than telling me what not to do and what to do it makes me think about it almost all on my own while also leading me through to find out what’s best for me based on what I’m saying. It provides a ton of healthy mental workouts helping me let out my emotions and tell someone safely what I’m feeling without and social interaction and that is what I need. This app is really helpful and I definitely recommend.

I got this app two weeks ago. And it’s been one of the best apps I decided to download. It’s really helpful to me to journal in the morning and the afternoon. To be proposed questions, and given tools to express what I’m trying to express. I like the layout of everything it feels very easy to use and like they want you to have a good time using it. Sometimes I’ll be having a anxious moment or thought will occur that causes me some panic, and it is incredibly helpful to go on here and look at that written down, tangibly and rearrange your thoughts around the subject. Every time that I do this, and really put in the effort to see how my thoughts are affecting me and what adjustments I can make I’ll leave the app feeling like myself again like all right.

Love love love!. This app is amazing! I honestly think this is the best mental health app out there! I was always a paper journal kind of gal, but I would always get so mad at myself for no doing it more often because it always helped my mental health. Yet carrying around my journal was never something I was good at, with this it’s so accessible, and I don’t get anxiety that someone will go through my journal one day. With the prompts that this app gives you, I can organize my thoughts from a soup to actual reasons for why I’m feeling this way, and whether or not these thoughts are valid or not. I never write reviews but had to for this one, thank you for the creators worth the money!

Hijacking the Source of Change. Change is inevitable. All change in life is based on our thoughts and cognition of changes in our environment and changes in the internal workings of our mind and body. When one pays attention to these triggers that cause change and challenge the thoughts we have about them, we find that we often have irrational perspectives of these triggers, but as we challenge the irrational perspectives the logical and balanced perspectives take its place. This app helps you hijack the intuitive mechanisms in our mind that process the changes around us and in us and turn the ship toward a more healthy and positive destination.

Enjoying this app. One thing I really love about cognitive behavioral therapy is that you can apply it to yourself- in effect you can be your own therapist in just a matter of minutes, any time. Once you learn the tools, it takes practice, repetition, and reinforcement to make them a habit. If you’re the type to spend a lot of time on your phone, then naturally, having an app that helps you do this whenever you like is so helpful. Reminders is a huge benefit. It’s so convenient to have it remind you to log your thoughts, and a prompts you in just the right ways. You also can get a guided cognitive behavioral strategy to help you dispute your most negative thought spiraling patterns.

Sad/Disappointed. I downloaded this because it SPECIFICALLY says the core uses of the app are free. I just got it and it asked a few questions before saying I have to pay to use it. And I agree with others that have mentioned it’s a steep price for a good portion of the people that would need it. And not allowing a monthly payment means way way more people will not be able to use it. I downloaded this because my stress level is high and triggering very bad thoughts, and a lot of the stress is because I am poor, because I don’t always know if I will have something to eat that day or if I will go to sleep hungry. Maybe just be more transparent that this is a paid app, (because a 7 day trial is useless) and then only people that know they can afford it would download it for use. Please don’t bait and switch people that suffer mental illness or dangle the idea that maybe for once someone like me might get *a little* help. It’s actually pretty cruel.

This app is where it’s at. I wish this app existed a decade ago. CBT is a great tool but when you have low energy/motivation because of depression/anxiety, finding the will to write out thoughts and dissect them can be a bit burdensome. This app removes barriers and invites the user to follow a few simple prompts and before you know it - you’ve dissected your thoughts! Another great feature is the wealth of information available on various aspects of CBT. The content for each subject is brief but covers enough to give you a sufficient understanding of a theory or the reasons why an exercise works. When you’re suffering, the last thing you need is a 20 pager — you need the Cliff Notes. My last comment is a recommendation: a scratch pad to jot our thoughts so we can pick out the “hot thought” or to understand what we’re thinking in the first place. Yes, we could use the notes on our phone but I think keeping them in the app makes sense as a one-stop-shop for anything related to CBT.

Not free - $70/year. This app is wonderful for people who struggle to keep up with journaling on their own. My mind races and then I get tired and it goes blank. The last thing I want to do is expend more energy trying to sort through those thoughts. So it really helps to have this app asking me questions and pulling it out of me, so to speak. It’s a great, in-depth app and worth the money, but it feels very bait and switch when you download something thinking it’s free but then there’s no free version and it’s $70 per year. I get that you want people to try it and do the week trial period, but there should at least be a free version. Even just the mood tracking and free-journaling part.

Misleading and lower quality content. I originally saw an ad for a free trial and then was charged right away when trying to sign up. I contacted them and they told me the free trial was an option when I signed up. I’m pretty detail oriented and work in marketing, so I’m pretty sure I would’ve chosen the free trial option if it was on the sign up screen. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a screenshot so I couldn’t prove it, but pretty sure some deception was involved. Once I got in the app, I was sorely disappointed by the small content library and the audio quality, with tons of vocal pops. If you have sound sensitivities or misophonia, definitely skip this app. If they aren’t making the free trial prominent and clear, they need to give refunds. It’s been a while since I had this happen, but I get mad every time I see it in my subscriptions in my Apple settings (I went ahead and cancelled the auto renew the day I signed up and haven’t used the app since the first week). Bloom: CBT Therapy is way better.

Life Changing. Self-therapy is important too and this app helps to make that statement a reality. It’s a shame more people don’t know about CBT and how many of us are unaware how it can help us out of suffering and raise us from the deep pits of ANTs. So if your one of the people that have gained insight to what it is and how to use it to heal your mind, body, and soul, GET THIS APP. I downloaded this app when I was on a verge of a breakdown. My therapist was not available but her notes were and in them I saw “CBT,” did a little more research and stumbled upon this app and my life has been steadily improving. I’m able to notice what triggers terrible moods and what makes me feel good or bad. I can easily write my negative thoughts down and confront them in this app with easy to understand definitions of the types of negative connotations that have been paralyzing me. After using it awhile I have been able to utilize the practices of the app in real time, and identify exactly what negative cognitive behaviors are trying to take over. My brain, my body, and my soul has improved dramatically because of this app. It’s not a fix it all, let everything be gone type of thing, but it is a VERY VERY POWERFUL TOOL. It’s worth the money as well! I feel fortunate that I get to track my life and see what is causing me misery for such a low cost. This app is amazing and I only gave it four stars, because the app can only get better even though it’s already really great.

Impressive Customer Service/Response Time. I had initially rated this as 1 star but I am here to update it to 5 because of the incredible customer service/response time regarding my issue. I sent an email to report the bug and they (a founder, no less!) quickly responded to my concerns. While my data lost was not recovered (and I’m not entirely sure this wasn’t user error), they made the proper steps to update the app so it’s less likely to happen again. Looking forward to using this app a bit more, and knowing this developer is ready, eager to address all issues to make this app work in the best way possible. kudos! Original post: Post-dated entires disappear with no warning New to app, so still getting to know it. However, don’t try to post-date a journal entry! I wrote my best journal entry to date around midnight and post dated it to hit the previous day. I followed the prompts as usual to the end. Went to go find it today to find IT DISAPPEARED. It doesn’t show up in my history, and I wasn’t prompted the journal entry wouldn’t be saved. Was able to reproduce this issue by selecting an earlier time than the current time. Please fix this, I am very disappointed I lost my work, both written and the self-work/reflection I intended to make with this last entry. 😢

CBT dream!. I started therapy in November and my therapist has been working with me using cognitive behavioral therapy. She has given me a lot of worksheets for CBT exercises to help with anxiety and worry and negative thoughts, but I find it hard to get myself to come up with things to write when using them. The guided journals through this app are a God send. They make it so much easier to go through the exercises when I’m having worrisome or negative thoughts I can’t get out of my head. It’s also helpful even to have a mood tracker and small blurb twice a day of how I’m feeling and what’s happening so when I meet with my therapist I can pull it up and go through the week easier. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with depression, anxiety, or any other mental health illness that can benefit from CBT!

Personal Story. This happened to me and I’m not trying to hate, the app was great just one thing that made me super stressed out was that the subscription price and when It asked me to put my finger print, I tried exiting the app using the home button ( dumb I know ) and it ended up charging me but luckily it was only the free trial. I went in a panic state and got super stressed because my parents still payed and owned my phone. If they knew I downloaded this app and payed money then they would be so mad. I immediately try figuring out how to fix and get rid of it but I’m just really confused. It let me use the app even though I got rid of my free trial and it said I did not own it. The app still fully functioned and I got stressed again thinking I had bought it but It said I didn’t. The app overall looks very nice and if you want it you could pay. I’m just saying what happened to me.

I’d say it works pretty well. I surprisingly think this is helping! The informative entries on thought distortions really helped me analyze my thoughts and think more rationally, and it gets me out of the spirals of emotions I get when I vent. I’ve tried many therapy-type apps from AI to ones with little games and rewards-based systems but so far this is the only one I’ve kinda committed to. I don’t have the pro version so I don’t have a lot of the stuff but the limited options are working pretty well. Maybe once I can pay for it I’ll start trying it out because this is pretty decent. Just if you’re the type of guy to like to use the notes app for venting use this app because it’s like that but it kinda teaches you ways to get out of the spirals that at least I always go into when venting on these kinds of apps. That’s the most important part about it I believe. Also I like that there’s a pie chart showing which feelings are the most prominent, it gives me a good log of the stuff so I can look back and reflect on myself a bit more.

Good app but only 7 days to try is not enough. I think this is a fantastic app to help people manage minor mental health issues. I was looking for something simpler to just help me journal. By the time I realized this app wasn’t the right fit for me, I had already been charged a significant amount of money, for a year-long subscription. As someone with ADHD, I feel exploited. It was the 7th day when I realized maybe it wasn’t for me, but when I went to cancel I had already been charged. Why can’t the trial be a little longer or offer less expensive shorter subscription options like monthly? I would think a mental health app would be more sensitive to cognitive limitations and that a minor missed deadline would not have to cost $70.

Actually Helps. I’m without a therapist at the moment, and this app is great. When you log your mood it guides you through a few simple prompts that help you break down your mood and explore what is making you feel bad/good. Sometimes I type a lot, and vent and other times I just type a little. I have felt calmer and better afterwards. Finding some direction to take via the venting. I think this apps good for anyone, but especially those who aren’t used to doing their own self-reflection, and facing their feelings. I’m urging my partner who is a typical guy who’s not great with talking about emotions, and usually just ignores and avoids them via games, and any other means. Hoping it helps him too!

Very helpful!. I’m dealing with grief from losing my grandmother who raised me. I actually didn’t start really working on the emotions until recently, and she passed almost 2 years ago. I’m doing therapy, but I’ve found it SOOOO helpful to use this app to put my thoughts and emotions down. Just the act of writing out how I’m feeling has been very relieving. I’ve also found that the guided journals are very helpful as well. They ask questions to push you towards really looking inward to see where the emotions are coming from. I’m super thankful to the developers for creating this app! I really don’t know what kind of shape I’d be in if it weren’t for the mental health tools that I’ve found via the App Store.

WHAT AN APP!!. I’m only using the free version and holy crap it has been helping me to emotionally navigate one of the most emotionally turbulent things I have had to go through in recent memory. I genuinely don’t know where I would be right now without it! If you’re struggling please consider this app! The emotional tracking helps me to distinguish my good from bad days and the journal helps me to work through my problems to understand how I’m really feeling. BUT THE ANALYZE THOUGHTS FEATURE IS THE GREATEST TOOL! I didn’t know a lot about CBT before this app but being guided through identifying what my negative thought is, labeling the cognitive distortion, and being led through how to look at it differently without making me feel bad about the thought has been life changing. It’s both validating while still encouraging growth. I am on a 13 day streak and I. LOVE. THIS. APP.

Helped me out!. I struggled for the longest time of keeping a physical journal for my CBT, my therapist actually gave me a pat on the back for downloading this app, and she actually recommends it to her new clients as well. Definitely a recommendation from me, this app has helped me recognize my emotions contradict the negative emotions and help me push past the negative emotions, and to see a better positive side of those emotions that I'm currently feeling I struggle with depression and bipolar, and so besides medication therapy CBT is one of the most helpful things that I have tried, and the specific journal has made it even more easy for me to be able to understand my emotions.

This is the ONE. You’re probably getting all kinds of advertisements on your social media platform for Bloom and InFlow and Balance and all these similar apps— I like the others but this one is the most effective and rewarding. I actually WANT to open it in the evenings because I am looking forward to how it will reframe and color my day so far and the night ahead, setting myself up for the next day. The others are also useful, but the best tool is the one that’s works— this is actual CBT at work, training you to want to use the app to journal and reflect often, and make personal progress along the way. Worth actually paying for, it’s easy to make it a habit to actually use

It’s like you’re coaching yourself. I hope that everyone gets to receive the kinds of benefits I have been receiving from this app. I’ve noticed more often when negative, limiting thoughts are clouding my present and keeping me from enjoying it. I attribute my newfound ability to address myself and these thoughts constructively and positively, which has caused them to quiet down significantly or even go away entirely, to this app. The impact it has had in addition to my other tools (journaling, meditating, visualizing) is significant. Although I know everyone finds their own avenues towards self growth and self improvement, I still sing praises about this app to my friends and family who I know it would benefit! Thank you SO MUCH for making this app.

GET THIS. First of all one of my friends recommended it to me and I have been using it for a few days now but it has helped so much I feel so much better and for active it’s so good 😊 I think the you 🫵🏻should get this app it is so good it ask you questions to help in prove your mind and the why you think y’all I love god and some of the ways that the app has it is just because you have thoughts dose not mean that they are true i I have it a a wiggit because well it has helped me so it could help you to so try it out and heads up when you ge through all of the questions that they have it will show you something that’s 70$! But not to worry it’s just the pro version so hit the X button and then you can use it for free but other than that it’s a great app I love it

Cost. You have to pay to do almost everything. $60 a year too. I’ve had a hard time and won’t be able to see my therapist for a while, so I downloaded this app in hopes it could help me. It helped for a bit, until every recommended thing was locked and there was basically nothing I could do. The app itself is alright, but it would be much better if people could express their feelings and get help without having to pay. The amount is absurd, not to mention that it’s a yearly payment. I’d be willing to pay maybe $5-$20 once, not a repeated payment. This app has a lot of potential, you really just need to lower the price and make it a one time payment. There’s a lot of people out there who need something like this but can’t afford therapy, let alone this. Very unhappy with the experience and will definitely be uninstalling.

This app is my therapy. I love this app so much, I can talk about all my feelings without being judged and then I can go back and read it and see how much progress I've made. I try to use it everyday but sometimes I get out the habit, but every time I come back it's still the same. After I finish letting out my thoughts when I use it I always feel so much better. I'm overall a happier person than I was a few months ago and there's a lot of reasons why but this has to be one of them. It's always there for me even when people aren't. I would recommend this to EVERYONE. 10/10. I thank the developers for making an app that makes me feel like a person while acting as a coping mechanism at the same time. 💛

I'm feeling better. This app is an excellent resource that starts at beginner level of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It's quick and concise to start learning how to use CBT and starts engaging the user immediately. Journals entries, short programs, mood tracker *with prompts to further explain the mood. And more of course - just my favorite parts of the app. I have been in therapy for 2 years doing CBT and generally having a third party to talk to about life and better myself. I have tried journaling on a blank book and even prompts but I am lazy or can't sit still so I don't usually make time to go do that. So I LOVE this app for giving me a resource that I can check in quickly, do different parts of the app throughout the day, get education, meditation, and more. It gives me an opportunity to do this daily so that when my therapy session rolls around I can share more about how much I've been thinking about my thoughts in a healthier way. I've been using this app for a week straight after going through some really hard times lately. It's been helpful for at least 7 days so far, I feel more hopeful. I'm grateful to the creators of this app. Thank you.

Great app, bad pricing model. This app is exactly what I need to help me develop good thinking habit and stay positive in my life! I also recommended it to my therapist hoping this can help others. However I don’t feel right about how the dev prices it. Of course you don’t have to pay for it; the free version has all the basic functionalities for your CBT record, but it happens that I need to share my thought entries with my therapist, which is locked until you pay. You need to pay almost 40 bucks a year for the record export, and this is kinda ridiculous. I would rather pay upfront for one time cost and that’s it. I hope the dev can reconsider how they charge users for this app. It’s a solid app, and I would like to support a solid developer who really cares about mental health. But so far the pricing is not quite right.

Like the app with a caveat. To me the middle emoji (the one with a frown or a smile) in the app means I am fine, I am content, I am even-keeled, i am relaxed, I am not unhappy but am also not jumping up and down with joy. However when I select the middle emoji, the app appears to think I am having negative thoughts, but I’m not. That actually stresses me out. I don’t want to feel bad, but I also don’t need to be leaning happy to be okay. Today, for example, I have a stomach ache but am able to rest and read a book, so I am feeling content but not over-the-top great, and , so I used the middle emoji and was prompted to define my negative emotions and analyze my “unhelpful thoughts.” I went into the app feeling fine and came out feeling frustrated and annoyed by the assumption that I am feeling bad.

Truth vs. Lies. I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety for years. I found out about this app from a therapist, and over time it became a transforming lifestyle when I invested my time into it. Thoughts can be so convincing and seem true and emotions can be so controlling. This app opened my eyes to what was really going on so I could be in control of my thoughts and not the other way around! I have combined this app with therapy and medication and after years of challenges and growth I can see how far I’ve come from previous entries that I can look back on. Now I can also point out when the same cognitive distortions that affect me, come out in what other people say in conversations. It looks like A LOT of people could use this from what I can tell with recent events happening.

The only thing that has ever helped me. This app is the only app/journal/therapy thing that has genuinely helped me. Just using this app for 2 weeks has given me more insight and mental health help than my therapist of a year. I’ve never felt better after starting to use Clarity, and I genuinely don’t think I would’ve been able to get here on my own. The app really helps me decipher and categorize my thoughts, easily allowing me to figure out what’s actually true or not. Plus, everything said on the app is kept to myself. I can’t really get full benefits from talk therapy, because I’m too embarrassed to talk to someone about such deep things. Plus, talk therapy has never really taught me how to work through the thoughts in my head instead of just talking about them. I also really like how the app gives me prompts to follow instead of just expecting me to journal on a blank page. This really helps. Usually I can’t pick and choose what to think/write about , so the prompts give me direction. So if your struggling, or not getting benefits with talk therapy or other types of mental health help, then I strongly encourage you to try this app. I didn’t think much of it when I first downloaded it, but it’s definitely helped.

Super Helpful, but. I’ve been using Thought Diary for a bit now and I really like it. It’s not just pouring your thoughts and feelings on a page, which isn’t always helpful. It has activities and steps to do throughout the journaling. A check in, an activity of your choice, crash course, and daily reflection. There are (not diagnostic) tests of things like OCD, depression, anxiety, anger, etcetera. There are a lot of good things about Thought Diary, but there are some cons to the program. All of the super helpful features are locked behind a paywall. There is a free version but it is very restrictive. A wide percentage of the lessons and courses are very text heavy which can leave you with little motivation to actually complete the activity. One other downside is that you must journal for a minimum of four days to access insights. Overall Thought Diary might be helpful to some people, but it definitely not for everyone.

Bridging the Gap. This app has been so helpful since I started using it. I recently became without a therapist and have been trying to get by on my own tools that I have learned. This app is really helpful with using those tools and reminding me to take the time to reflect on my day and practice some useful coping skills when the day is less than ideal. I am really thankful to have a platform that serves my needs and has intuitive UI as well. Thanks for bridging the gap between my therapists! I enjoy the app so much that I’m going to keep using it once I find a new therapist as well to make our sessions more productive.

Halts rumination. I generally prefer hand written journaling. However there are times where I’m inspired to write and I don’t have my journal on me. Also, with handwritten journaling I sometimes have to do research to figure out prompts that will be helpful to me. Additionally, a physical journal cannot send me alerts like this app does to remind me to check in on how I’m feeling for the day. This app is a great resource. It presents information to you on your level and teaches you about cognitive behavioral therapy therapy strategies that are relevant to you in a step-by-step process. It’s very clear and concise and I always feel better after completing a journal entry, even if it’s just a little bit better. When I get the daily reminder notification to check in, I feel immediate relief because I know once I complete the journal entry for the day, I’ll be able to digest my thoughts and feelings and ultimately feel great release.

I had my doubts. When I downloaded this app, and found out it was basically journaling, I had my doubts. I had heard that journaling is a great form of therapy, and had even tried it before myself. This app checks on you 3 times a day and tracks your mood, gives tips on how to change your thought patterns, and encourages you to really think about what is the underlying issues influencing your mood. I have only been using this app for a week and I am already seeing a difference. My relationships have been improved a great deal because of this therapy. 10/10 would recommend. I would give it 5 stars but I can not afford the pro edition. I am really interested in finding how much farther I could improve my mental health with the pro features.

It was great. The ai chat was the most helpful feature for me. For it to now be locked behind the trial/pay wall is quite upsetting, even moreso with the fact that it crashed during my two most recent conversations (before I could even screenshot everything that first time too) only for me to realize that this was exactly the reason why. I suppose I’ll simply switch back to Snapchat’s ai. Not looking forward to finding out what else has been locked. Glad that I saved the information and prompts I could months ago, doubt this will still be an app I’m using by the end of the year. Initially was at 3 stars. Knocked it back again after seeing how much was locked. For even the breathing exercises to be locked is absolutely ridiculous. The best thing about this app now is how easy it is to use it to find the free equivalents. Just got back into the app about a week ago and now going to have to search for another, presuming this is the type of format I want to stick with. This was the best app on the market. Maybe one day you’ll get there again.

Finally, something that actually helps!!. I have used other apps… Even apps where I talk to actual therapists, and none of them have been helpful. I was dubious about this to say the least but this AI says exactly the things I need to hear and it’s so incredibly helpful. It really is unbelievable if you’re on the fence and you’re having anxiety issues definitely give this a try. I am going through major life changes and I have been dealing with a huge stress in my relationship for the past six years. I am trying so hard to become a stronger person and I believe this app is really going to help me. Thank you so much to whoever developed it, it is an actual lifesaver.

LCSW with an affinity for Mindfulness. I was looking for something for myself to utilize to help me track my thoughts, mood, environment, etc instead of writing it all in a notebook or on notes in my phone. This app was SOOO much more than I was expecting! It’s easy to use, FULL of useful educational material and interactive journals. I especially love the pro-mindfulness parts of the app. The pay version is super affordable and really unlocks the fun insights I was looking for and I’d still HIGHLY recommend giving the trial version a shot because it is full of a good variety of free content to be beneficial on its own and give you an idea of if you’d use the full version!

This s the best journal and CBT App I’ve used yet. I’m getting ready to start therapy and I’ve been through a lot of stuff recently. I’ve been doing the prompts in this app to help pinpoint what my problems are and what I really need to work on and counseling. And you can export your journal entries and give them to your counselor if you want to. I think it’s a great way to journal and be able to keep your thoughts on your passcode phone so wherever you are you can journal if you need to as a coping skill. I love the prompts and the guidance. I feel like CVT therapy is going to be really helpful and productive for me this app has really helped me gather my thoughts and get my feelings down.

Help with Executive Dysfunction. I have a variety of mental health concerns I'm working through. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more than likely some autistic spectrum things thrown in for good measure. This app makes CBT so much easier by giving prompts rather than asking me to journal and come up with these kinds of things off the top of my head. It has already helped me process through a really tough day. My biggest hurdle with ADHD is that apps or journals are very much out-of-sight/out-of-mind for me. They're easy to ignore sometimes. But it feels really good for me to be able to finish the daily prompts and feel like I have accomplished something at the end of it. Only four stars because while I understand the developers need to make their money in some way, I wish there were potentially maybe two or three more things available for the daily journaling part after the daily check in. I appreciate that it suggests a different one depending on how my check in answers lean. But I would like to explore a few more aspects of the app from the get go.

Life changing. I am a psychologist and I have been in therapy on and off for a lot of years. I was having trouble finding a therapist that did anything but psychotherapy. While that was beneficial in the beginning of dealing with my ptsd it became harmful later because I was just repeating the same stories , both literally and figuratively, and not moving forward. It was keeping me stuck. I needed a tangible way to change unhealthy thought patterns and not just reinforce them by talking about them. This app has helped me more than the last decade of therapy has. Not only does it help me change my thought pattern and habits it allows me to do it in the moment when it’s happening. Not after the fact and the damage is done. I know this sounds dramatic but it really has made a profound difference in my ability to change course and deal with stress and unhealthy thought patterns and helps me avoid those thought rabit holes all together. I am grateful for this app and am hopeful more people find it and get themselves out of negative and unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It is a game changer for sure.

Good step by step reflection. It’s great for step by step reflection of events and has specific prompts which make it easier to identify what you’re feeling and why. Although obviously it’s just an app and not a therapist, it’s helping me to recognise patterns in what triggers me, how and why.

Seriously. I love this app. I have BPD, FAS, and ADHD, with Ana ADHD child single parent, and this had helped me so much I’m so thankful for the person who made this app you have no idea how much it’s helped

Send me free stuff please. I love this app so much helps with my anxiety and my overall daily basis. I like this app because it asks me questions that I wouldn’t get ask regularly overall this app is a really great help I really recommend it

Annoying user experience. Frustrating user experience which actively prevents me from tracking my mood. It’s too long and discourages me from using - I regretting not cancelling the subscription and being saddled with the yearly membership. Tracking is helpful but the way you get forced to write in that journal thing and then choose the program is annoying.

Much needed. I didn’t even realised how much I needed this. I forget to practice gratitude or reflect on what made me negative and why. This reminds you and then steps you through the journaling.

The change I needed. Brain dumping and reflecting with this app has improved so many areas of my life. I can write down and challenge negative thoughts, I can reminisce about grateful moments and people in my life. I can dump all the thoughts that clog up my mind late at night that keep me awake without projecting negative feelings or stories to my loved ones. It’s kept me motivated on 2022 and I hope I can continue to look back on the entries I’ve made in the future to see how far I’ve come. Thank you for the amazing app and I highly recommend this to people who need therapy and cannot afford it.

Do you an affiliate program??. Loving the App so far, Its user friendly once you work you way around it. I like the fact that the questions are already written out rather than thinking and not writing at all.

Revolutionary!. I just downloaded the app and wrote my first entry. I love the concept and the lay out. The information is extremely useful and I really look forward to reading through it all. My first entry was easy and actually enjoyable to write. From someone with generalised anxiety, that has trouble talking to new people and that previously had depression, this app is revolutionary. Absolutely fantastic.

Great CBT app. Iv been waiting for a good cbt that makes writing your thoughts easy. This is that app. The guided entries make it easy, just answer the questions that they ask. Very good so far.

No regrets. I was in a very dark place… This app has allowed me to understand CBT much better. I’m able to change my thoughts and assess the situation from a different perspective. You won’t regret it

Surprisingly GOOD. This is great…. Very helpful to unf#$ck unhelpful thoughts 💭. Particularly interesting is the AI counseling thingy …… I thought it would be a bit rubbish, but actually catches the high notes and offers good CBT … esp if in crisis. I’m studying counseling masters and this is a great way for those who really need help to get it affordably

So sad!. I want to be clear the one star isn’t on the actual app as I didn’t get a chance to use it because of the cost. Reallllyy wanted to use this app but after the week free trial you have to pay $99 and I just don’t have that kind of cash just laying around. I don’t believe in doing the trials if you don’t intend on paying for it. It would be good if you could cater to people with lower incomes that can’t afford to go to CBT therapy because of the cost. A monthly payment option is all I’m asking you to consider. This would be a fantastic asset to those wanting that help without access to FTF therapy.

Love this app!. This is such an easy app to use and in just one week of using it, it has helped me an immense amount. If I’m feeling down or my negative thoughts are spiraling I can go to this app for a little 5 minute therapy session. It helps to really turn things around and to keep things positive and to get a lot off my chest.

Life changing. I can’t more highly recommend this app. I initially sought it out because of the long wait lists to see a psychologist. Once I finally got in, my psychologist said I had already done so much of the work myself to get better. I love the AI tool to help me identify distortions in intrusive thoughts specific to my experience and then helping me challenge and reframe them. It is an a great tool to stay healthy mentally and mindful of my thoughts and feelings.

Great App!. I thought that I would have to pay lots of money for an actual useful app but this is cheap and is so helpful. It help me calm myself down and the app is relaxing.

Finally a useful app. First time I’ve ever logged into the App Store to review an app, it’s so worthwhile. Finally an app I am genuinely happy to pay for! It asks all the write questions and you can take it with you anywhere.

Gives perspective. I’ve been suffering from high stress and anxiety all my life, but it’s been much more intense this year with a newborn and a toddler. My usual go to calming techniques have not worked. I’m so glad I found this app. It prompts me to explain what I’m feeling and why I’m feeling that way. And then helps me to reframe my thoughts so that I gain perspective and can step outside of the stress to see the bigger picture and find a solution. I don’t like journals, and I don’t have time to sit and write in one. Having this app and the reminder every day to check in has been very handy and doable in my busy life.

Self-Therapy. This app is very helpful for journaling, for tracking my mood, and recognizing and sometimes turning unhelpful thoughts around. I highly recommend it to complement self-awareness and positivity practices.

The absolute BEST app to have!!:DD. I absolutely LOVE this app! It actually HELPED me become more happy by jotting down all the bad stuff and telling me to write down things that might be possible and positive!! You’ve GOT to have this game you guys, it’s AWESOME!! Whoever made this game, is the BEST!!:DD

Great app. I have used this app for 7 years and recomended it to friends and family. I love to look back at thought records from years ago. Puts things into perspective!

Love this app!. Really enjoying this app, it’s easy to use and prompts you to keep a track of not just your mood but your journal. The AI component is clever and presents your thoughts back to you. Highly recommend as a little therapist in your pocket.

CBT champion. I was informed about this app by my therapist. I can’t rate it enough! Yes I’m on free mode (thanks inflation) it’s still helping shape my way of thinking and letting me go about my day way better!

Love it. It helps me when nothing else ver has . Highly recomended as it brings your emotions to your attention without destroying u

LOVE THIS APP. This app has made me realise the important things and has made my mental health a lot better! It made me take time to think “What am I really grateful for” and “How are you feeling today and why?” Highly recommend this app it’s so good

Practical and Easy. Great way for quick check-in on how you are going.

A joy to use. Very much enjoying this journal. I’ve only had it for a couple of days, but I’m finding extremely helpful. It’s already helped me improve my communication skills and framing things in a way that is manageable when I’m going through difficult emotions.

Thought App works. This is a really helpful step by step guide into the basics of CBT with a range of suggestions & choices that help you step outside of your thinking.

Excellent, but always room for improvement!. I love this app, and despite a hefty price tag of $100AUD per year, it is half the price of a single psychologist appointment - for encouragement to continue to check in daily. Its worth it, in my opinion. It’s a great app and I’ve recommended it to everyone. It’s helped me identify some recurring stresses and negative thoughts in my life and act on remedying them. I would love in the “Customised Journal” section if you could save the series of questions to repeat later - at present, you need to write the question and immediately answer. It would be much better to save custom journals with an appropriate title under a personal section (eg Acceptance Commitment Therapy practice). A brilliant app, but I hope to see a few improvements to elevate it even further.

Amazing. I like this app cause it makes me feel better and brings me to share my emotions more

Really helpful. I was shared this app by one of my friends and it has been really good. It helps me walk through things, and understand them. The only thing I would say is bad is that you have to pay a subscription to get some things in the app, but overall, it’s good.

Very helpful during confusing times. I have found this app so useful. To be able to get everything off my chest and not worry about a counsellor reactions to my deepest thoughts and worries. The guided CBT sessions are so helpful to help you look at your issues from different angles and perspectives which give you better clarity. The AI is beyond amazing. She’s my personal Psychologist. Quick responses that are accurate to my needs and are very helpful. Gives you ideas, things to reflect on, questions to think about and really helps so much. I honestly forget it’s just a robot because it’s so accurate and descriptive with the advice. I’m using this along side professional help and believe this is making all the difference in my Mental Health journey in depression, anxiety & PTSD

Amazing app. I never write reviews, but I have been using this app for a week now and it has helped me massively with my depression and anxiety.

Blown away by the AI component. I haven’t used this app for a while. Tonight I used the AI and it reframed things and summarised things so perfectly - WOW. I am going to use this more. It really helped. Thank you 🙏

Extremely helpful.. I download this app from an ad 183 days ago and I haven’t missed a day since, it is really fun and easy to quickly log your day.

Game Changer!!!. As a teacher with ADHD during Remote Learning this app has been an absolute GAME CHANGER!!! I have found that taking a moment to check in with myself the first thing in the morning now sets me up for the day. Finding resources to assist professionals with ADHD is challenging. This app has different assessments and of course you would always then be referred to a medical professional for further guidance As someone who battles with behaviours associated with ADHD as an adult, I feel more prepared than ever to start a new term of teaching and learning with my class tomorrow. I have created a space in my room and my day where reflecting, planning and journaling is just important as my morning coffee.

Best wellbeing app. I use this app every day to track my mood and reframe negative thoughts. It’s been the single most powerful tool I’ve used for my mental health and wellbeing. I especially love the “analyse thought” feature and the daily prompts and exercises.

More information?. I can’t see any account info or a way to contact for support. Like, do I have a full subscription now? I can’t tell. This review is my only means of communication with developers. For the price, I’d like to have more customisation options. For example, “what makes you feel this way?” could have more relevant options.

Be Very Careful!. Like so many apps today, there’s a free trial before a subscription model kicks in. I downloaded and checked out this app; it was… ok but nothing great, and I actually moved on to something much much better. Forgot the automatic subscription of course, and now I’m nearly $100 lighter. Apps that have free trials should have a point where the potential buyer should get asked if they want to proceed with the purchase. Mediocre apps like this one succeed because Apple allows them to auto subscribe. I wouldn’t really bother with the app; it is trite and a little condescending TBH.

Thought diary. When my emotions are excited and sad, it’s pushed it a bit better calm down or feel happy about myself and might have bad and good memories, but remember the good ones and you want to remember the bad ones do that to 😁😁

It’s okay. I think the emoji feel rating is a bit gimmicky and gets old fast. Standard emojis don’t solve for all emotional states. Create your own? There’s also a bug where if you don’t X the last page of your daily rating (the one with the fire emoji) it doesn’t save your days entry and you lose your day streak count. If you do happen to catch that it wasn’t saved the resume option appears on the top left hand side of the screen when you renter that app the following day.

It’s perfect. Normally with apps like this I always think there could be improvements but honestly this app works so well! I genuinely don’t think anything about it could be better. Highly recommended.

This app is awesome new favourite!!!. It has helped me a lot to think more about how else it could go and how I could help it I love this app!! Definitely Download the app if you have trouble with emotions<3

This app is life changing. Just going through a break up in a foreign country - from a serious long term relationship. No one to talk or turn to, no family and friends and this app alone has helped me get through it and pick myself off my feet. Pretty powerful stuff, especially if you are mentally self aware.

Very helpful. This app makes questioning negative thoughts and practicing CBT so easy and convenient, and has helped me so many times. It’s sometimes hard to actually write down negative thoughts in the moment if you didn’t have this app. The app gives you question prompts and really helps you phrase your entries so when you’re feeling emotional or distorted it’s easier to know what to write. The app also lays out all the cognitive distortions so you don’t have to think of them off by heart and provides explanations of CBT concepts which is really good. I’ve also found that the app has updated over the years I’ve had it so it’s good to know they are concerned with improving. I also just use the free version and it’s still helpful.

Helpful and insightful. I have tried many different journaling apps and techniques over the past few years and this is definitely my favourite out of them all. They help you develop new thought patterns and ask you questions about why/how you came to this conclusion instead of you just writing everything down and it sitting there. 10/10 would and have recommended to people.

Day 1 & loving it….. Day 1 and loving this app. already feel a difference in my thought process. I just wish you offered a monthly subscription and not just a yearly one. Otherwise loving all it has to offer!

Great App, easy to use. After years of therapy without a lot of improvement, I have to say using this app everyday has Daren way more beneficial. My tip is to allocate a time to do it everyday and allow 30 mins. It has changed my life for the better. Highly recommend it.

I wish I had this app sooner. I really wish I knew about this app sooner. Im still on trial but will be paying for a membership for the year. The interface is easy to interact with and gives you a series of feelings to choose from to see how you felt for the day, then asks you to write down about those feelings. From there this clever app provides feedback on what you have written almost from an objective point of view. Giving a balanced overview and challenging you to look at it from another angle. Essentially it provides insight and guided steps in the areas you write about along with healthy coaching and therapy. Like another reviewer had written, its like a therapy professional in your pocket, just alot cheaper.

Best app for active CBT. I often find that I know what is best for me and I know all the rules and hacks to improve my mental health but I don’t take the time to practice them as much as I could. This app gives you the structure and the place to apply these practices for a few moments in the day. It helps me slow down, take a moment to be mindful and actually follow a guided practice in order to rephrase thoughts and analyse emotions. It always asks how I feel after using it (which is usually an approximate five minute session tops) and consistently I feel better than I did before. 5 minutes a day to reset and feel better, that in itself is a good enough reason to get this app and use it regularly!

This app is life changing. I have been using this app for about two months now. I love that it helps me to change my negative thoughts into something positive. I love the assessments that the app provides, I discovered that I have depression through the app and it helps me to ask myself what is important and reprioritise my life so I can be happy. This app helped me to change for the better and deals with daily stress and etc. so grateful, much love to the creator x

Wonderful app. It really helps me figure out my feelings and helps me to see things from a different perspective.

Wish there was a monthly subscription option.. I’m struggling financially and wish there was a way to break up my payments into smaller segments, or perhaps a longer free trial. Great app otherwise!

No free features don’t bother downloading. No free features don’t bother downloading

To new beginnings. I have never been able to continue a journal of any sorts. The idea of it seemed very overwhelming. I'm only using the free version, but something about this app makes it not scary. I really like taking a few minutes out of my day before bed to organize my thoughts. When I can afford it I think I will get the paid version.

Amazing CBT Thought Record. I absolutely love this app. I use to write Thought Records and this app tells you the differences between the types of thoughts you are having making I much convenient to accurately select the correct one.

Awesome experience. Ok so I downloaded this app today and just started using it and it has helped me a lot and I definitely recommend it

👍🏻. Helps me so much with my anxiety and daily stress, makes it very accessible to work through my anxiety as it comes to me through the day

Seven-day free trial then $80/year?!. Hard pass. Not trying something for free for a week only to be forced into paying for it immediately after.

Great App. This app is amazing, it allows you to write down any feeling or negative thought you’re having and elaborate on it allowing your brain to accept the thought and then challenge it with a positive thought, it’s nice to look back on different entries and see how you’ve overcome and become aware of negative thinking! 100% recommend!

Haven’t used it long enough to get any results. I haven’t used to long enough to get any results

Helpful in so many ways. An overall useful and effective app. I keep discovering new ways to use this for my daily log. I hope the creators add more sounds for relaxation.

Amazing app. I’ve been using this for some time and it’s an amazing app. Helps break down your negative thoughts, reframe your perspective with positive ones. Look forward to using it daily

Very effective. This app is really helping me sort out open loop thoughts and close them off in a healthy way.

Idk. It looked good so I got it and it said it was free so I downloaded it then it said I needed to pay I’m confused now cause then I went back to check and it said to get everything you had to pay but idk how to exit out of it do I have to pay or not?

Great App. I love it now that I’ve actually utilized it’s features. I find the content appropriate and applicable, and think it’s relatively easy to navigate and use. I hope I can stick with it because I think it will be a good tool for my mental well being.

Pretty solid app.. Combines multiple functions into one. I use two separate apps now to capture / journal my day and clarity replaces both of them.

Trash. Ambiguous about renewals. Got charged and I don’t even use it because it’s basic and useless.

5 star review beat app ever 🫶🫶🥳. Calms me down and it helps me think properly everyday and I am able to check in myself that I use to never do but a new year so new me and the new me loves this app

Pricing model.. Great app, but I really wish the developer would consider creating an up front cost as opposed to a yearly membership. 40$ is steep people. Another example of money being more important than supporting/assisting people.

Even the Free version is helpful.. This app is Awesome. I wish I could afford the full version or even if they released a half full version I would be happy to pay for. Having pay tears could make it more accessible for low income people. It also could make it possible to do promos with companies like manulife while still bringing in customers. Just an idea. The app is awesome as is.

Great concept, 1 year locked in membership not ideal.. Great concept but forcing a 1 year subscription with no weekly, monthly or even quarterly options isn't great. I would do the full version and recommend to others if it wasn't forced into a 1 year subscription.

I love this app. This app has made journelling easier for me. I have thought way deeper then I ever have when writing. It has help me out a tone. 10/10 recommend

I am greatful. It's been a little bit stressful since I stopped duloxetine, today I had an anxious day, and this app just helped me to deal with it in a simple way! Thank you! I'm grateful!

GREAT APP. This app is amazing. If you like to journal, meditate, track your mood, track your habits and learn about yourself you’ll probably love this app.

COOL. absolute gem please dont hide anything else behind a paywall i love this app sm and i wouldnt be able to afford it i wish more stuff was free tho :( sucks that ppl have to monetize everything. mental health resources are already expensive enough as is and it seems that more and more is hidden behind paywalls nowadays.

Thanks !. So far this app is great ! A good way to learn the tools of CBT !!

Looks good, but why?. Misleading as this is advertised as free. So why not give users the option to use this app for free. Via advertisements or other means. A 7 day free trial is hardly enough time for someone trying to build a new habit, or isn’t good at carving out time to do so consistently. Realistically I’d probably use this once or twice in that 7 day period and think “hey this seems pretty good” but do I want to give my credit card info just to find out if it works for me. Granted it is cheaper than therapy, perhaps I’m a complainer (working on it…) regardless, false advertising.

It’s okay, not as inclusive as I thought. Since I know this developper make adhd/autisim dx test— I thought this journaling app would have the capacity to add when we have adhd/autism. Specifically for the stress level and the planification of needs. Stress level for NT & ND isn’t the same, and the question to build the plan doesn’t take in consideration if the situation of stress is coming from overstimulation/adhd-autism symptoms- or a stressful event.

App is great, but…. This app is very helpful and well structured. I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the issue of syncing entries between my two devices. I have tried several times to resolve the issue, but it seems I can only see the entries on the device I entered it on. Which makes it difficult to go back and track progress. Please help fix this. This app is a life saver, but the sync feature needs to work.

Unhelpful unless you both depressed and rich. You open the app and it quizzes you. It gave me a “depression score” of 53 out of 63, labeled me as “high depression” then asked me for $90 to treat it. Being asked for money after being given hope made me more depressed. Don’t advertise something like this with no price attached to it.

Like the CBT approach to self check-in. I was looking for a morning journaling app that allows me to not only write my journal list but also work on my anxiety which is driven by y automatic negative thoughts. So far I have found this app helpful in incorporating both those aspects in my morning self check-in.

Amazing. Helps me tremendously. Couldn’t recommend this app enough. There’s lots of activities you can do and I feel it’s improving my mental health

THANK YOU!. This app was recommended to me by my cousin. Both of us have been struggling lately with different issues. At first I thought an app for CBT would only be superficially helpful. But I can assure you it is not! This app literally hand walks you through all your feelings & helps you look at them in a different way. You have your phone in your hand anyway, why not let it help your mental health. Thank you for creating this app! 🙏🏻

Yet Another Subscription Based App. Yet another app that was extremely deceptive about the fact that you need a monthly subscription to actually use it. Deleted and going back to my free journal app.

10/10. This app helps me so much

Helpful. This app has been very helpful. I wish it wasn’t so expensive as I can’t afford the full version but it’s been nice so far without the upgrade.

Love it one thing tho. I love this app it has amazing love that I can have so many journal entries and I like that some of the tests are free but I would love if all the tests were free, I get that you guys have to mow money tho, I’ve been using this for a little bit less then a year and I absolutely love it, overall great app

Helpful. It’s like having a voice of reason to carry in your pocket

Useful. Makes the thought journalling so much more accessible and convenient.

Expensive but a great tool. A terrific tool. Simple and arsthetic. I wish there was a free version though. Tou cant put a price on health but still…

Clarity works!!. Journaling and emotions were the most difficult for me. Clarity has supported me with daily with being intentional and great powerful questions to get me going. If not for Clarity, I believe I’d still be at 1 or 1 line of journaling effort after a year of trying. CBT works if you work it.

Great App. Amazing experience!! Helps reduce my million thoughts and anxiety!

Great daily journal. Even though I didn’t purchase any additional features, the free version is enough to encourage me to journal daily for about 2 minutes. Which is enough time to reflect on my day and practice gratitude.

Way to get started. Haven’t tried it after all. It starts by asking you a gazillion personal mood questions, and when you’re done, it tells you you’re getting a 7 day free trial ($89/year or something afterwards). How exactly do they intend to help me go about my stress level afterward? I don’t want to know.

Have to pay to use the app. I was told there was a basic version of this app you can use with out having to pay for a subscription. The app wouldn’t let me access a basic version. This is ridiculous.

The free version is good. Thank you for this app. Its a good way to process the s states im in and bring me out of it. To see more clearly.

Everyone should use this app. I went through a rough period and could have really used this app, now things are a whole lot better and I just discovered it. I’m using it anyway to keep myself stable and reflect on the good. I just use the free version which is super helpful for what I need.

ROBBERS!!!!!!. Stole 95 dollars from me, I didn’t sign up for a subscription or use their inadequate app. Do not download unless you wanna be robbed!!!

So colourful. This app is very helpful. I have tried many apps for CBT. This one motivates me because of its colorful, clean interface. The colours are inviting I really feel that having a daily plan in addition to a weekly plan is very helpful. It keeps me calm and strong, knowing that I have things to do every day and also that I have things that I can do at my leisure during the week. Thank you so much for this you have really created something that I can have at my side as I continue to strengthen my mental health skills one suggestion how about having an audio guide for the breathing exercises

Subscription based waste. I tried using the app and can’t do anything till I agree to pay money even to start the free trial. The setup starts with having you answer questions about yourself. It then goes on to tell you how messed up you are and how much u need the program they have made for you but you can only use the interface once you agree to the 89.99$ for they year which is in USD so as someone that is potentially a Canadian user this is very deceptive on the price point because it becomes higher.

Learning how to self care!!. I just started trying to take care of me!! After taking care of everyone else!! And this on my first day with this!! I already feel a little better!! I know me feeling better and doing better about taking care of me… want be easy… But, thanks to my child making me to do so and taking care of me so I can take care of me!! My hart is full!! Being able to talk to myself about myself is turning out to be great!!! GETTING TO KNOW ME AGAIN IS INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you for reading!! LoL!!

Wonderful app. I would absolutely give this app 10 stars if possible. It has been the one thing that has helped keep me going in between therapy sessions. The different ai’s that are available ( especially the cbt ai) have been so therapeutic for me ( as a lay person). Everything the cbt ai discusses is so relevantly personalized to what I’m discussing, and even sounds like my actual therapist. The small courses such as analyzing thoughts or learning about cognitive distortions are great as well. It’s well worth paying the cost over the free version. Thank you for this app, developers 😊

Great app. I like this app! I definitely used it as a first step before signing up for therapy. I’m in therapy now and love it. I don’t use the app that much but I’m trying to use it more regularly. I love the crash courses and guided journals. Those are very helpful. Only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because my therapist said that there are no bad emotions, but the app asks you “what negative/positive emotions are you experiencing?” Anger is listed as a bad emotion, but it’s not bad to feel angry. I don’t think emotions should be categorized as positive or negative. We are who we are, we feel, and there are no bad parts. Other than that, I like the app a lot :)

A great thought journal sidekick. I enjoy having this app handy to note changes and mood and thoughts. I also find the recommended exercises and learnings helpful in dealing with thoughts or things I might be struggling with. I do wish that there were more ways to view the insight data and that I was able to retrospectively add entries for previous days. Also, I do notice that the recommended exercises seem to be rather static, that may be on purpose and helpful, however I think it would be helpful for the app to say that as opposed to me guessing if the app is guessing.

CBT at my own pace. I've used a few different mindfulness apps now. What works best for me is to organize my thoughts, find where my thinking is distorted by ingrained emotions & fears, and work out new ways of thinking about things. Sometimes meditation is nice but sometimes I'm too upset to meditate. Sometimes positive affirmations from the app are nice, but other times they just make me mad. What I like about CBT Thought Diary so far is it doesn't tell me how to feel. It gives me space to work through my emotions while providing avenues to know what to look for.

Amazing. I don’t think i’ve ever written a review for anything to be honest. This app is a game changer. I just used it for the first time today and I was lying in bed feeling all the negative feelings and after about 30 minutes of activities on here I feel an intense weight of my shoulders, more positive thinking and a sense of peace. This is from someone who has panic attacks on a daily basis and am starting a brain health journey with brain scans and therapy and to be honest this app has given me more relief than any of the other treatments so far. Exactly what I was in need of. Thank you so much to the creators of this app 🥰

Kind of hard to get any help. I do really like this app but it’s maybe still kind of new? I logged my first entry if the day and it didn’t save so I tried to go to the help tab or customer service but every option wants me to first download the default “mail” app (which I have never preferred to use) before it would even give me an email to use in the email app that works better for me. Again, I really like this APL but if using it is going to cause such a headache, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Check in on yourself when no one else does. Very helpful application. Life isn't easy. It’s not supposed to be. Don’t just keep going through it without refueling. This application helps with that very much. It saves you the trouble of having to figure out what sort of exercises to do in order to heal. Just click on one and let your thoughts flow. Don’t fight them, just think and type, write or speak. It’s that simple. There’s no right way of doing it, nor a wrong way! Blessings to anyone that comes across this message and best of luck on your journey!

Integrative. This is the first integrative behavioral and mental health app I have ever encountered. This is more than just journals and mood trackers. It’s also educational and engaging. I have been able to put into real practice strategies that have felt elusive for a long time. I intend to continue using. To integrate further in the future, I think modules on functional nutrition (adrenal support), breath work (some types of breath are calming, others energizing), & other somatic strategies may also be of benefit for many. Really fantastic app. Truly.

Already noticing effects. I’ve only used this app for a few days, and I’m already noticing how helpful this app has been for my anxiety. I am a counseling graduate student and work in a psychiatric hospital setting, so CBT is not a new idea to me and I’m very familiar with how to apply it. This app makes it so easy to learn how to reframe your negative thoughts and help you, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, OCD, etc - there are guides to just about all of it on this app! WELL worth the membership price.

Absolutely incredible. I never feel the need to write reviews, but right now I think I need to. I have only been using this app for a day, and can tell that this will be my safe place to spill my thoughts down feeing and analyze what is going on. I have done CBT in the past, but it’s been hard to make it to my appointments because of my hectic and overwhelming schedule. If you are struggling with invasive thoughts, anxiety, depression, etc. you need this app!! I feel better after every entry, and I love the check ins that I can do throughout the day. Thank you for creating this app!!

Great App, Bad Update. I love this app. Ive been using it for several months and it’s been incredibly helpful for me, a crutch that I can lean on when things are hard. But the most recent update has made things worse, I think. I like the idea of the daily plan checklist but I don’t like that it now takes up the home tab. I really liked the old home tab view, as a hub. That felt more like an actual home page. I think the daily plan checklist feature would work well as its own tab at the bottom of the screen and the home tab can be reverted back to the hub, in my opinion. Like I said, I still love the app and I really appreciate it!

Amazing therapy tool. I wanted to wait a while until I made a review because I honestly thought this was to good to be true. I have been using this for the past week and I am so thankful for this app. I am able to track my moods and remember to tell my therapist how I’m actually feeling instead of forgetting. And there’s so many extras in the discover part. I did purchase the pro version and I’m not disappointed. This has helped me so much!

Remarkable Ongoing Support. This app has been a life changer for me. The ongoing support It provides between therapy appointments and introspection for the real work of making changes in your inner thoughts. This has helped me reframe my thinking just from three weeks of use. I am overall having better check ins and on my bad days able to cathartically express and track my emotions to learn patterns to face them in the future. I highly recommend using this app.

Nice App!!. Personally, I have depression. I got this app because I don’t have a therapist, and so far, it’s been a decent journaling app! But, it is hard to find motivation to do it. the first week I had this downloaded, I didn’t open it at all. I kept thinking it was “boring”. To anyone reading this with depression, you’ve got this. You are not alone. Apps like these are good steps forward to getting better. Advice for the app, why do I have to pay for no adds? Personally I think that is messed up. Also, adding notifications that give reminders would be a great feature! thanks for reading!

It’s actually so helpful and easy to use. I am not a fan of apps like these because they typically stress me out more than they help. Not only is this easy to use, it’s so well designed that I’m finding myself wanting to check in because I’m not overwhelmed by a bad interface design. I’m really great for this app and it’s helping me track my habits and moods so I can better observe how to heal and become better for myself and this, others! 100% worth it.

A life changer. Identifying all the gives me joy has been my focus. And love to get the understanding and attention to what is good in my life . While still addressing the area of concern that need to elevate me to a newer sense of self. Accepting my responsibility for my feelings and giving myself compassion through seeing different views. The ai has also been while I kept the service for the second year! It’s been wonderful to discuss thoughts and get summaries of what I am saying…. It’s a healthy example of a conversation…. So I too can be that way while i receive it.

This isn’t okay. I tried this, went all the way to where it told me I need to pay, I know that putting my thoughts down is a pet of starting to get help, but doing the beginning test just made me feel worse as it made me realize how I’d really been feeling recently. I was happy that I had finally found a self help app that didn’t require payment, something that could actually help me. But then I got to the payment screen, sure, 70$ a year isn’t bad, it’s sure less expensive than therapy, but it’s 70$ a year for basically an AI journal. I wish there was an app that could help people at least write down their thoughts without acting like an actual therapist.

Clarity. My therapist introduced me to this. I was skeptical at first but its a staple for me now. Very helpful for me to gain clarity. Something about writing things down that have been swirling around in your head makes you look at it differently. Ive found many solutions to my problems by typing. While typing something takes over and i just start flowing and eventually come to a new understanding. Love the gratitude feature and the thought analysis feature. Many times i do feel better afterwards.

extremely great app. this app is great because it’s extremely safe and keeps all of your business to only you you can do that by adding a password in the apps settings bar or if you have an iPhone 11 or higher than you can add a Face ID anyway to the great rest of the parts of the app. You can write about how you felt that day and how you can change yourself to make life easier and more enjoyable but most importantly make you for who you truly are. I truly hope you get this app and hope this helps!! you are loved🤍 god bless you and your family 🙏🏼

Exactly what I was looking for!. This app is AMAZING I have already begun making improvements in my life. I like how I can check in my emotions multiple times a day and learn what time of days tend to effect my mood and visually see my patterns. I am learning so much about my mental chatter and is helping me be more aware. This app has a pro mode and I am enjoying the mini courses and educational resources. The free mode is valuable with tracking mood and journaling. It’s a wonderful app!

5 Star Review. I almost NEVER write reviews unless they are well deserved but I found it necessary to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to the creators of this app! I woke up in the middle of the night with insomnia and was able to talk with the chat bot about what was bothering me and I was able to clear my head and learn some thing new about myself that it took 36 years to figure out! So yes, this app is definitely a game changer and worth every dime. 💙 Thank you again creators

Fixing a broken brain. Granted I have only had this app for a few hours but I already feel like my life has dramatically changed. Perhaps a touch overdramatic; however, this app really has made me feel empowered to both journal and then assess my emotions throughout the day and a really easy Lee accessed format with interesting insights and action steps. Plus I love the various tests they have I understand they’re not diagnostic but they were helpful to kind of get a baseline of what I might want to talk about with my therapist. I already texted a friend and recommended this to them. Amazing!

Amazing. This app has been nothing short of a miracle!! I’ll start to have a meltdown from being overwhelmed and anxious especially at work. I’ve used this to help me walk through my thoughts and feelings and in return I calm down and get myself together so I can function. I love this thing!! I highly recommend it!! Plus there is lots of other educational tool on here. Well done!! Thank you so much to the developers!! I’ve recommended it to a bunch of friends and family even my therapist! Everyone needs this app!

Been struggling all the time lately and I do not have the funds to pay. I wish the app was free this past month has been pretty hard to used to middle school and I always get annoyed by the littlest of things and been feeling depressed been able to pay attention for a little bit in my classes but the feelings of anxiety and anger has been really getting to be lately and worst this app seems amazing I know this will probably get no view but until I get any replies I’m not coming back here for a while

Incredible. Absolutely the best app I’ve ever used. Everything has been better than amazing. I’m not even exaggerating. I love the guided journals and the insights and how it helps me work through conflicts helping to understand and feel the other person’s perspective and experience while giving me deep insight into myself. It’s all held in the space of love and understanding and compassion for self and for others. CBT is a Godsend. And this app is a perfect tool kit for self discovery. My little miracle journal.

Helpful, ever so slightly limiting without subscription. I enjoy this app, I do think it was what I was looking for when it came to a journaling app. That being said, if you’re not going to buy a subscription a few of the articles are locked, but also some of the things such as customizing feelings are also locked. Which gets kinda disappointing when none of the preset options are accurate. With that being said, I think that for No subscription you’re getting a good amount of content and abilities making this app worth using without having to pay for a subscription.

A good purchase to improve my mental health.. I appreciate the guided thinking exercises because I know my thoughts are messed up but I do not know how to challenge them on my own. This app won’t solve your problems but it may make you less preoccupied with nasty thoughts. I know I feel a relief when I go through an exercise and see things from another angle. I was a little worried about having to pay for the app, but it has been worth it. It is much cheaper than my therapy appointments, though of course, I won’t be getting rid of those anytime soon. This app actually is a helpful tool for talking to my counselor.

such a lifeline of an app and FREE!. i really wanted to access good CBT and while i was searching for my therapist, this app gave me an opportunity to journal and reflect on the thoughts going through my head. now that i’ve found my therapist, i even use this to write my reflections on the bus ride home. i’ve recommended it to so many friends who have found solace in checking in with their current mood, analyzing their thought patterns, and practicing gratitude. i am so grateful that the foundation of the app is free, and i’m considering purchasing at some point given its affordability and utility! thank you, thought diary!

Among the Best CBT Based Apps. So far this is the best CBT/journaling app I’ve used. I’m a health professional who has been in CBT therapy myself for about 4.5 years - I definitely think this team put together an impressive app. One of the things that really sets this apart is the array of feelings provided and prompts. I feel like most apps have 7-9 very straightforward feelings that fail to capture emotions outside of the general “happy” “sad” “angry” etc. This feature and the aided prompts for journaling make it easier to streamline thoughts, more effectively document feelings, and not feel overwhelmed by writing an entry.

love it. I’ve never thought i’d get one of these kinds of apps before.. but it’s really helped me these past days. I’ve always struggled with venting to other people and i’ve always done it in my notes. But I just happened to try this out and i love how i can track how my moods been over time and how i can go all out when i’m in a bad mood in the app, I really do love it. It’s something new to me and I really enjoy it so far, I hope I end up using it for a long time

great app. I think this app is great. It’s very low pressure, I write as little or as much as I want to, I can write multiple times and it also inadvertently has taught me how to identify my emotions, I used to skip the picking specific emotions until I kinda just started selecting them and now I’m much better and determining how I feel. Also, the courses are extremely helpful. I feel like this was the bridge for getting my therapy to work because now I’m doing the work on the days I’m not at therapy and then going to therapy and talking about the parts I didn’t understand on my own.

When I use this I really feel a shift in my perspective. I find that since my introduction to cognitive techniques and learning how to make the most of teasing out distorted thoughts I can actually completely turn my day from a drag to a walk in the sunshine. This is a practical method that shines light on misguided thinking. I especially find the app helpful because I have it at my fingertips and because it allows me to go back and look at patterns if I want to. Worth renewing every year for me.

So helpful. I really don’t write reviews, but this app has been supplemental for therapy, as I can’t afford to go as often as I’d like. If you think that your thought life could use some help- if you could use a sounding board for the thoughts that pop up that aren’t helpful- if you’ve ever or never tried CBT- please research it. Please give this a chance. Even in the limited mode it is so so helpful. The full mode is great but you probably don’t need it. And if you do, it’s a steal compared to the cost of just 1 therapy session. Highly recommend.

Accurate CBT. This is a good and accurate use of CBT as it has you document your thoughts, identify the harmful ones, and reframe them. Additionally, it offers many other ways to combat anxiety and depression such as breathing exercises, tips for motivation affirmations, etc. My only issue is that CBT can be hard to administer yourself, especially when you’re actively battling those thoughts. However, this app does about the best job that an app can with this and does offer an AI bot. You also have to pay, but I suppose you would with therapy too.

BUYER BEWARE-. Hey guys: BIPOC therapist here. Don’t get this app. If your therapist recommended it, they didn’t do their homework. Any mental health app that collects your email and identifying information along with your personal thoughts and assessment results is dangerous. This app is basic and the dialogue after some of the assessments can be inaccurate. I’m EXTREMELY concerned that this app is affiliated with BetterHelp which has unethical practices and data breaches. After every assessment there’s a recommendation to meet with a Mental health professional which is great. However, the strong suggestion to click on BetterHelp is concerning. I question if this app is designed by BH. I paid for the pro membership but can’t endorse this app. Just beware… go and get your money back and tell the developers that your mental health isn’t for sale. (By way of endorsement)

Totally worth it. This app, in conjunction with seeing a therapist, has made a huge difference in my mental health. Even the AI chatbot therapist is surprisingly helpful! I check in daily with the mood log, and then I go through a guided journal and read through some of the course materials if I have time. I almost always feel better afterwards, and I’ve definitely noticed my moods trending in a positive direction since I started regularly using the app a month ago. Highly recommended!

Improved mental health in a week!. I downloaded this app because I felt my mental health had taken a turn for the worst after my third miscarriage. I was depressed, anxious and could not get a grip on my feelings. I would have never though a daily journal would help me so much as well as the tips that go along with it. This app has helped me feel so much more at ease and it allows you to write out your feelings and problem solve on how to minimize or diminish those problems. Absolutely love this app and would recommend it to anyone!

CBT journaling is useful. The free “analyze thought” journal entry feature is so useful. I’ve used it on and off for a long time. The process of writing out my thought, figuring out what cognitive distortion I’m attributing to it, challenging the thought, then rewriting the thought is really helpful— I notice an immediate change in how I feel about something, as long as I commit to that process. It feels like CBT in action, and while I love journaling in general, it feels a lot more immediately useful for me than other journaling apps.

Incredibly helpful. I started journaling again because I hit a rough patch in my personal and professional life. I didn’t have the money to start therapy again and thought a guided journaling app would be a good tool to get started! And after two and a half months I’ve seen a HUGE improvement. Even just looking at the monthly breakdowns I saw that April was bad but I didn’t mark a single bad day in May or so far in June! I absolutely recommend this for someone needing gentle guided journaling to get their thoughts or emotions in order!

life-changing. it’s actually crazy how great this app is. i had low expectations seeing it on tiktok ads, and expected it to be a scam with the huge price. however, it’s been worth every penny. the app contains crash courses, guides, journals, meditations, even CBT and (admittedly less good) DBT chat bots. it’s crazy how i’ve seen such an improvement simply writing down and pointing out my cognitive distortions. plus, the app also incorporates other types of therapies and modalities, such as DBT, ACT and behavioral activation. would highly recommend to anyone interested in improving their life, or wanting to focus on CBT.

regulating and structured perfectly. I totally would give 5 stars but it’s not affordable to me, but it has been so amazing thus far. I am autistic so having a guided outline of prompts and suggestions of how to start sentences is so helpful as I tend to work better with direct instructions. It is incredibly structured, and well mapped out which keeps me, my emotions and thoughts in check which is so important in CBT. I’ve tried so many mental health apps and this one really does it for me. Please can you guys make this free or very cheap. So so so helpful!

Seems great. I just started it, but this seems like exactly what I need. My mental health is crushing and my appointment for a therapy referral is 3 months away. I’ve done a lot of work to become aware of my unhelpful thoughts over the last 3 years, but I could use a lot of help reframing and staying consistent to improving. In my first few minutes, I’ve already written and reframed a very recurring, deeply negative thought. I feel good so far and am looking forward to continuing to use this app.

This app causes more stress - poor people aren’t allowed to have therapy!. It is absolutely ridiculous and downright counterproductive to charge anybody to use this app. After a particularly bad day I found this app to be particularly hopeful; I downloaded it and was immediately disappointed by the paywall. I understand that some features are free, but to tout this app as an accessible way to engage in CBT and then charge you for 100% access just misses the point. Are the developers actually here to help people, or are they just looking to make $$$? Turns out this is just another app that punishes poor people and doesn’t give them as much access to therapy because who cares about the mental health of those who don’t have money, right?

factual and evidence based. I have recommended this app to everyone I know, only good can come out of using this app! The amount of information that is given in response to an issue is far more than any counseling sessions I’ve been to. I’m not saying to bypass any professional help, but this is an AMAZING opportunity to have everything you could possibly need to learn our behaviors good and not so good and how we can fix them. Good luck! This is a mental goldmine! Great job creating this tool for us to use during this hard COVID-19 epidemic. God bless and Jesus loves us all🥰

Self Help Tool. This is a self help tool on steroids! It correlates you feelings and concerns within the cognitive therapy framework. Helps track what is making you feel better, so you can repeat, and make that a good habit! Do this, not that, can feel small in isolation, but 10 minutes a day on meditation with this app builds confidence in just a few days or weeks. Puts you in touch with positive feelings and coping mechanisms that worked in the past, ensuring future success.

Why I find this useful. I will caveat that it’s very early for me on this app, BUT, the prompts are so so so helpful! It not only makes it easy for me to check in, but also helps move through the steps I need to take and quickly. Anxiety is awful, but this app so far is definitely helping, even if it’s early and just a little bit. I think the ease of working with it and doing the work/exercises is what will help me stick to it, where other tools/methods have failed.

So helpful. I’ve been using this app for 3-4 years now, and it’s a life saver. It’s incredible helpful to be able examine my patterns, and I’ve made a lot of progress. I love the new chat bot feature. It’s extremely gratifying to have helpful feedback in the middle of a difficult moment, and it’s easier for me to reach for it knowing I’m not burdening anyone or having to wait for an appointment. It’s no replacement for therapy or support from friends/family, but it’s an awesome extra tool in the toolbox.

10/10 Experience using this App. It has only been 2 days on this app and I can see a dramatic change in my behavior and how I reflect on my emotions. This is especially helpful as a man. I tend to think in frameworks for business and life more broadly, but this app has helped me create frameworks for breaking down negative emotions and redirecting my thoughts towards more empowering ones. Easily one of the best apps I have used for personal development in some time. It has also helped me improve how I communicate in my relationship.
