Please give me my money back. This was not the DSM-5 eBook. I have the text I bought for the same price. I expected for 69.99 I would have access to the textbook. The diagnosis tree is not comprehensive enough and too simple with 3-4 questions. Very disappointed. Please give me my money back. Thank you. No stars.

DSM 5. Not helpful waste of $$

DSM 5 ddx. Paid for app via App Store. The app is trying to charge me again to use. Frustration. Failure on the part of those who developed the app and Apple for not communicating the app is paid in full.

Does not provide full diagnostic criteria. I was hoping this app provided full diagnostic criteria and it sadly disappointed me. Not worth the $70 and will be asking for refund

Not recommend. Pretty useless. Can’t believe I have to get a se one app just to list the criteria

Overpriced. Maybe helpful for a student or a new clinician. If you’re an experienced clinician, it’s not worth the price tag.

Not worth it. Bought the app but when I log in it says to purchase again to download the entire manual? This is confusing I thought this is why I initially paid $69.99 for.

It looks good so far. I just purchased access to the content. I have the book but it seems easier to access the decision trees here than combing through the text. On the site, I noticed, after paying, that it said something about subscription. I hope this is not a subscription, otherwise, I will have to cancel.

Quick look ups. I love pulling out this app during sessions with clients and just reviewing briefly if they wanna know something about theirs or another diagnosis. It helps me answer their questions knowing I have the word right in front of me! good quick go-to if you also just need to look up the billing code & review any dsm 5 criteria.

Very much need. This is an exact science..A little help goes a long way...

Highly inaccurate. Overview of app. Quickly diagnose you with borderline personality disorder for something as little as picking at your skin.

Cannot access. This may be a great app. I have no way of knowing! The first time I tried to open it, it asked for my user name and password. Since I have not yet established either, I have no way to log into the app. I am not very tech savvy, so I may be missing something obvious. Feeling frustrated!

Do Not Buy This app. I bought this app to start my psychiatry residency. It was a waste of 70 on a useless thing that does not even contain the full criteria for diagnosis. I thought it would be a nice way to have all the criteria in my pocket to look up between patients. It's not. It gives you a two line definition an that is it. Literally go buy anything else if you need information that general you could literally ask anyone.

Not helpful. For the cost, this is not helpful as a provider. The decision tree seems basic and not all diagnoses are provided.

Purchased the full version. I’m a clinical mental health Master’s student and I just purchased the full version of the app. I hope to give a thorough review in the upcoming weeks.

Not free. This is a trial version with no functionality. The "in app purchase" is to buy a working version for $70!

Very underwhelming. I tried the free version and thought it could be really helpful so I bought the app. I don’t know if the developers just got bored half way through but this does not reflect the entire DSM 5 which makes it pretty useless. I’m going to guess it was made for providers who do not already have a mental health background or a working knowledge of the DSM.

Music therapy. I am a new Music Therapist Professional and was hoping to use DSM-5 for my private practice. Music Therapy is an evidence based practice and my only wish is that it was recognized as a health care option on this app.

Peculiar. Just confused, why isn’t there a “psychologist” profession option?

This app rules!. So much better than the APA’s DSM 5 Diagnostic Criteria app.

Superior content and guidance. This app empowers the lay person - such as myself - to effectively engage, interact and communicate with the licensed health professionals charged with the care of loved ones. I could not give a higher endorsement.

I wanted to like it. The decision tree is nice but I was also hoping to be able to see the criteria for each of the disorders (maybe I’m just not figuring it out) but there does not seem to be just an option to see the DSM.

Why bother?. There's not enough here to be helpful. Don't bother

It’s only a preview 🤦🏾‍♀️. I didn’t like the fact that the app only gave me information on what it wanted to give me. If you want the full experience, you must purchase the app

Sad. Use to enjoy using this app but after the last update this app is basically not useful

Zero diagnostic criteria!. This is NOT THE DSM-5. It’s only loaded with options for “what else” the diagnosis COULD be.

No DSM-5 codes!. This DSM-5 app does not contain any DSM-5 codes! The ICD10 codes for each disorder listed are here but not a single DSM-5 code is. So, I use the app for differential DX and then, once I have a DX, I have to go to my paper DSM-5 or elsewhere to find the DSM-5 code?? How incredibly inconvenient. I bought the app precisely for convenience—I don’t need it to add another step for me when putting the DSM codes in seems so clearly logical and needed in a DSM-5 app!

New Version is much less useful and less user friendly. New version does not include the quick reference tabs to diagnostic criterion. Very disappointing. I want the old version I originally bought.

Rare intelligence and common sense. The decision trees and the explanations of how to apply them, the guides about not closing diagnosis prematurely, will help, I think, clinicians at every level.

Perfect. This is everything I hoped it would be. I tried another before this and it was a waste of money in comparison. Wish I had tried this first.

Great for fast paced private practice!. I am a well experienced and trained psychotherapist from the inpatient psychiatry world recently beginning in private practice and this app is such a time saver for targeting clinically solid custom dx for each patient in the setting of a fast paced outpatient environment where, from the outside, it looks as though there is plenty of free time until you experience a full client load. So useful! And worth EVERY PENNY!!! If you're like me, you'd be making a big mistake not to get this! Can't say enough great things about this app! Buy it today!

A Real Rip Off. I purchased this app DSM Differential Diagnosis and I am very very disappointed. I thought this app included the criteria so that a clinician could use that information to determine differential dx. The information in the app is so basic it doesn't help at all. A real rip off for $80!! I asked apple for reimbursement but they don't do refunds. I had looked at the sample and the free version first and was really misled about what I was getting.I wrote to the company and their response was as useless as their app. They said "we cannot offer refunds." What a scam!
