Absolutely love it!. The graphics are absolutely wonderful! The gameplay is super fun, the new power ups and obstacles are amazing! I love how you can go both ways, the only reason I give it four stars is because I miss the coop from the first one, but understand why it can’t have it because it goes both ways. Everything else is awesome, great game overall and would highly recommend. The price is well, well, worth it!

Online doesn’t work. Great game, but every time I put in my nickname online and click ‘go’ it tells me that it wasn’t able to connect to the server - no loading, no freezing, just instant denial. I have great connection, thank you very much! Fix my game please

If you’re into. games where you die over and over again and keep repeating it until you finally beat the level, then you’ll love this game. Not my cup of tea. I don’t mind problem solving if it takes me two or three tries to get through, but this is the type of game that requires you to die a million times by way of trial and error just so you know where the obstacles are and what they do. I still give it three stars for the nice visuals and the fact that I understand these types of games are practically their own genre. I should’ve known it was this type of game before I purchased it.

Solid. This is a fun game. It’s super hard at times as well but rewarding. Occasionally I have failure of controls to respond but that could well be my device and not the game.

Great game. This game is terrific, but addicting. Some of the levels are hard, but trying and trying again is part of the appeal.

Good but one thing. I just got this game yesterday along with 1 but what I didn’t know was that this had no editor. I was so sad! But everything else is good other than that one thing.

Age mover is dumb, impossible, and worthless. My complaint is that the 40th level, Age Mover, is impossible. I’m at the checkpoint where a wheel is moving across a span where it shields you from lasers, but lifting it up at the second point is next to impossible. I always either lose the wheel or die, and it’s frustrating as all get-out. Please fix this bug, and maybe I’ll like this game.

Awesome, but.. I have recently finished BADLAND and I have gone to this one and I am amazed at the quality of graphics but I would be better if there was a level editor.

Missing editor. Okay, so this is of course an amazing game, adds more to BADLAND 1, but it doesn’t have an editor. I realise that an editor would be more complex than the original, with the levels going up and down, rather than just always to the right. There are liquid physics and more complicated backgrounds, and other things. BUT: it would boost sales for sure! You could add it as an in-app purchase, and I’m sure that I, and many others, would pay 2 or 3 dollars for a BADLAND 2 level editor. Thank you for such an amazing game! Pls add editor!

Amazing game. Super fun, it really expanded from the first one. Very immersive, the online mode is really fun too... I’m in the top 100! YEE Anyways would recommend

I’m too dumb for this. Why isn’t there a tutorial? Maybe my phone has a problem, but moving the character isn’t intuitive and I can’t figure out how to make it go where I want. If there was some sort of how-to section I could then figure out if it’s me or just glitches in the phone that’s the problem. I got it because the graphics are beautiful but I can’t even get in to entry level play, which is frustrating.

Greatest game ever. No adds at ALL it has VERY GREAT graphics and its very challenging which I LIKE it’s very long and overall I think I deserves 5 stars you should get it

Good Game. Game is great and very atmospheric. It’s definitely worth the 99 cents. The only issue I have with it is the lack of content. Game does feel somewhat short and replay-ability isn’t as warranted unless you really want to go for all the achievements. Unfortunately as of the time I’m writing this the online servers have been taken down which is a shame as that was one of the fun activities left. Overall would still recommend purchasing and playing through.

No Level Editor = Sad Player. I love this game but I was sooooooooo sad when it didnt launch with a level editor, I seriously felt like crying, I felt like I was getting squashed by a gear or a falling boulder, but it's not too late, theres still hope, I even contacted frogmind and one of the creators said that it would be too hard to make the camera path. FIND A WAY! There will always be a way...

Original was better. The touch system in this is un usable. Feels like u programmed it for force touch which is horrible and non responsive. After playing original for hours. I cant stand more than 5 minutes of smashing my phone in order to move. Sorry but the sequel is a bust. Nice try with going left but it doesnt work on forced movement games. Endless movers with screen based deaths should always be one way. Loved one, dislike 2, and I wont buy a badland 3. Sorry badland 2 is worse.

Finally gave the sequel a try and it is worth it! - ipad mini 6. Feels and plays just as well as the original game. Very interesting plot detailed level and a nice challenge. However this game screen is not optimized for the mini 6 unfortunately. The black borders horizontally is huge and for a while i thought the controls were bad then i realized that i kept tapping the huge black borders instead of the screen. That is the only gripe. I ahve not tried out the multiplayer but it looks like it would be fun.

Good but could be great. While I do love the entire BADLAND series. Two just seems a lot like one. Yes there are different things and actions you can take I just felt like there could have been more. Especially since when I originally started playing any of the badland’s it was totally free. I don’t feel like you should have started charging for 1, fine for 2 since it’s always been .99 cents. But you shouldn’t charge people for something that was once free. And since you charge the .99 cents for badlands 2 which I gladly paid bc I love your games I just felt like there could have been more to the game is all. Maybe some small 3-D actions or modes and possibly a bit of a storyline to the game or clones. I’m not sure just something lol. In closing, the game is definitely worth the 99 cents and it’s very fun and there’s a lot of the original fun from badlands 2. I only gave it 3 stars bc I felt like there could have been more

Please read frogmind. Badland2 is a really good game ,but why is there no level editor? Even if you need to make the editor it’s own game that would be ok for all of the fans of the original and the new one 😀

Touch problems. Okay, the game is great. I enjoy it more than the original. But, the problem lies within the touch system. On the stage, "Roller" there was sometimes no response to when I held my finger on the screen. This only seems to happen when your clones are rollers. I know this game might be dead, telling by it has not been updated in a year, but you never know if they decide to update this game again.

We need editor levels. I thing badland2 is more beautiful with level editor, plz update it with level editor.

Stunning Game. Beautiful game with responsive controls and enough content to make it worth more than its $0.99. Definitely worth picking up due to its graphics, simplicity of play, unexpected twists, and soundtrack.

Good but not great. I played the first badlands game in my iPad mini before so I thought I should get the second one. The problem i have with this game is that it’s not optimized for the iPad Pro 3rd generation! I absolutely hate having these unnecessary black bars around the game which shouldn’t be there. Please optimize this game for the newer iPads

Good but you are missing something. In BADLAND 1 you have 4 player but I want 4 player can you add 4 player

Amazing game!. I really like this game and the challenges in it. The graphics are cool as well! But on online, the textures for time trial and survival are swapped. I also want a level editor like the first game. if that happens, I may come to this game as much as the first game. But overall, great game!

The only reason I write three stars. The game is over all good. Except for the fact that it doesn’t have an editor, I get that it might be hard to get the camera stuff down, if you need help with the camera, take an example from Mario maker 2, they’ve made it possible to do what you’re wanting to do. Also fix the touch problems.

Perfect. I fell in love with the first Badlands, head over wings over head! I approached the sequel with some trepidation… I needn't have worried, these guys too, the perfect game AND MADE IT EVEN BETTER!! This is what every iOS game should be like. So much love for Badlands! ❤️❤️❤️

Good game. It’s a good game with fun levels that can keep you busy for a good car trip... but on the other hand it needs more levels to make the game more enjoyable but if your wanting a honest opinion on this game, it’s fun totally worth the money.

Graphically beautiful. I am a gamer who loves all kinds of games so I’ve seen my fair share of graphics and these are some of the most beautiful graphics I’ve ever seen and the graphics give off a calm, quiet, and peaceful tone!

Amazing but one thing. I absolutely love this game because of how the backgrounds are and new features but I feel like this game needs a level editor because we would love to play with the elements in the game but overall this game is amazing

Great atmosphere and mechanics with no micro transactions!. If you are a fan of Playdead’s INSIDE or LIMBO you will love this game. Very similar atmosphere and side-scrolling mechanics. Gameplay is a mix of puzzle and super-meat boy. I was so glad to see no advertisements or micro transactions in the game: the number of levels and polish makes it completely worth the upfront cost.

It’s fun, but one thing.... I really liked the first BADLAND, and I was so exited when the second game came out. I downloaded the game and tried it out, I loved it. I loved the new thing stuff like freeze rays and flamethrowers, but where was the level editor? I would LOVE a level editor. PLEASE make the level editor!

Been with this game for years but.... So I’ve been with Badland since I was a kid and I love it so much, now I know you get this a lot but PLEASE make a level editor. When it first came out for 1 I was super excited and got it the second it came out, and I just came back to this game and found you you made a second game so I got it, played the first world, then got disappointed from the lack of one. Oh and also it might be good for you guys to leave 3D controls off, cause I was super confused when I first started up, and so was a lot of people apparently. I will pay SO MUCH for a level editor.

IMPOSSIBLE LEVEL!!!!!!!!. Blaze, the last part of chapter 3, is impossible! The part of the level where it shoots bombs through portals, THERES A WALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THING!!!! I saw a a tiny gap where the bombs where exploding at, AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want, I need, I can live with it.. Ok so I’ve played this game for a looonnnggg time but... remember the first one? Back then they released a level editor and I was so happy! Sooooo then the next part has been released. So I start playing the game, it was great! But after months I just realized there’s no level editor. So I thought “oh I guess we just have to wait for a bit.” But I was so wrong... Now I was sad. :( What’s even more sad one of the people in the first one released a level explaining it will not happen. And someone just give you a idea. I heard of the camera problem... I think you said: “we don’t know how the camera should work” or something like that. It’s easy! Let me tell you. Now what you can do is add camera points. Now you can connect the points by the wires thingy and there. Now I know that will take you for a wile. But it will have more content now. The first one is popular because the level editor. If you do the same then everyone will be happy and excited. I think I will hear everyone screaming of happiness because of you. And you can make 2020 better, well something like 2021. So basically I just want a level editor, it felt like it’s missing from the game. So pleeaaassee? “More likely not” -someone in 2020

Fantastic game. This is one of the best games I’ve played. The game physics are superb. The artwork is superb. The gameplay is superb. Please, if you haven’t already, try this game.

One of the best games I have. This is one of the best games I have I do not regret paying the two dollars I play this game in my spare time and one time I lost track of time and was playing for like three hours it’s a super addictive game I recommend it to anybody just a suggestion but developer you should make a create your own level mode that be really cool and then you could post it people could try to beat it

The game is amazing just bought 3 hours ago and am already up to inferno chapter, the only problem (2 actually) I have with this game is it gets frustrating when your stuck on a certain spot in a level for so long, and I also want the editor put back into this game because I would like to make my own levels in THIS VERSION of the game as I don’t want to buy the 1st one. Good game but flawed. BADLAND still remains as my favourite game on mobile because of it's clever level design, multiplayer and creativity. BADLAND 2 retains the same magic from the original except... There isn't as much content. When I first saw this game it was about $9:00 and when I bought it it was around $5:00. This game misses out of the chaotic and hilariously fun multiplayer and co-op but I think are a lot of people are missing out here is that there isn't going to be a local multiplayer in BADLAND! The single player lets you move left and right which means you have to use the right side of the screen for right and the left side for left. This mechanic is also basically useless in the game because of how little you will be using it; oh and when you do need to use it you completely forget about it! This doesn't really feel like a sequel, it feels like an unfinished game unfortunately. PROS: Superb art and level design Great sound design Gameplay is easy to lean but difficult to master Cons: Lack of content from the original The ball powerup is literally the most annoying thing ever

Errors. Whenever I want to play a multiplayer level, first time I always get a network error. Game crashes regularly, and it doesn't always save my score. I would probably be doing better than 29th if these problems would stop happening. Also, who is going to pay $9 for any game, no matter how good it is. Good game otherwise -coffee1

Just as good as No 1. For those who played the first game, the exquisite pain of moving our small flapping friend around a dangerous swamp will be familiar. But there is a new spin here - and I like it.

Great game but a little disappointed. I got the first game and it was great there were lots of levels, a level editor, and local multiplayer. 5/5. Sadly the second version was very disappointing. The first game had set my expectations super high but this game lacked the local multiplayer and level editor. Although the online multiplayer is a great idea there should have been an option to join an online server and either compete in a race or versus over real-time. There should also be an option to compete with friends if you decide to add this. Thank you for taking this into consideration.

To everyone who thinks this game is bad because it doesn't have a level editor:. The reason why this is, is because this game has so much variety. I don't think everyone could make such good levels with the complex mechanics eg. water. Leave it to Frogmind to make the levels.

The Great Reviewer.. I didn't expect Frogmind to be able to top it's silhouetted, future-based, post-apocalyptic strategy/scroller game, but they have gone above & beyond. I really love the "water" physics, and the multi directional levels really add a level of reality to the game. I cannot wait until the level editor comes out-(Come on guys, we all know it's coming!) and the online levels push me to top other player's records. Great game, five stars, and please keep updating!

🦧. Personally Badlands 1 is better then 2 because I feel like there were more options in 1 such a coop and versus and also edit, add these to 2 and it will be awesome but they are both really good anyways

Absolutely stunning.. The graphic designs and backgrounds alone were mind boggling and amazing. Clearly so much effort was put into this masterpiece of a creation, please please keep more levels and updates coming. This game is so great and I can't wait for the rest of it. Maybe (just a suggestion) you can make a story revolving around the "Eye" at the final scenario of the first game. But all in all 5 stars, love it.

Great graphics and well designed levels. There are new game mechanics to the last game and altogether the mechanics work well with the brilliantly designed levels, the game art and style is also beautiful. .. So I bought this the second I got notified that it came out. With my unsupportive mind, I sort of disregarded this as just being another but similar version of the first game. And oh my, was I wrong. It's new and innovative, drawing those harsh tricks and tensions from the first game, while creating a whole new 'bad' (excellent ;)) experience. Love this app.

Fantawsomeazing. This game is absolutely stunning. The graphics are incredible and the fiendish physics and strategy make it feel unique and challenging. The levels are all originally designed and it keeps things feeling fresh and no micro transactions or pop up video ads. Hope next update will be epic. Worth the money.

High cost, Lack of content. This game is ok, I bought the first badland and it was great! 4 person local multiplayer and a huge campaign, and then I buy this, $9 Aus, and I get 3 days, which have around 10 levels in them, and then there's multiplayer, which only has you competing against the ghosts of other players and trying to beat times or clone counts, that is not worth $9 dollars, I know more content is coming soon but this is just unacceptable that we get this little content in a brand new game, and the fact that we no longer have content from the PREVIOUS game, WHY WOULD YOU TAKE OUT LOCAL MULTIPLAER AND CO-OP? Seriously, buy this game when it's had some updates and more days added, I'm not hating, it's just you guys really missed out big time designing this game

Please update. Played loads of Badlands and was excited to buy Badlands2. Like so many others, I can't get past the 5th or 6th level? I played this game a lot and got thru all levels in the first game. This is too hard for a casual player, especially one whose never played and might not know the joys of the first game. Put a skip level button so at the very least a player can move on from a difficult level. Please! I will review again at a later date.

Great and challenging game. It's a great and challenging game some times it's annoying and hard because your not sure what your supposed to do but either way it's awesome and not easy but a game worth getting :3

Fun and unique!. Fantastic game, it’s really fun to play, dynamic, engaging levels with puzzle feel and beautiful graphics! Some levels are just fun/quick while some make you strategize and problem solve in a fun way. Sometimes I wonder what evil genius is behind these. While tricky sometimes, but it’s not discouraging in any way, don’t listen to those moaning about the difficulty. I got both games and waiting for the third one hopefully soon!

Eh, swing and a miss.. More fun of BADLAND, but early on there are tons of annoyingly difficult sections. The camera moves MUCH faster in this version. Challenges are fun but this just takes all the fun out of it. Deleted. Sorry.

Support for iPad pro 2018. Please developers update this game to be compatible with the newest iPad pro 11inch and 12 one ... its so frustrating having a big screen and not using it ... put in mind including high resolution and 120fps option for this game

Needs level creating. The clones look worse, to different, but most of all NEEDS LEVEL CREATING it was a big part of me in the first one.

a little more adventure than puzzles. i thought it would be more harder puzzles because you can go back and forth but also straight up, although the place is really cool there is not that many puzzles. maybe i will change my review.

Controls. Controls are horible and levels are to long

Died 58 times in the first 580m in the first level. Controlling the character movement is HORRIBLE. It’s ridiculous. Can’t even get 1/4 way through the first level. Fun? Not at all. Waste of money? Completely. Am I just bad at games? No.
