Excellent!. If you live on the west coast or live in a brush fire region, I highly recommend this app. I use it religiously as the smoke blows north into my county. It's wonderful to know I can have peace of mind when deciding to take my kids to the park or the family on a hike. The app is also very well designed. Great app!

Can’t remember where it is. You would think an app could remember its location from use to use but this app is too stupid to remember. Unless you let it check any time it wants, it just fails. You can trick it. If you quit the app then restart it, it thinks it’s lost then works. If you just switch to another app then switch back it’s brain dead. This is a sadness. Response to author: until Apple gives us the ability to share our what3words square or 1000 foot square it seems zip code is the right thing for privacy. All the other weather apps do it this way ( see WeatherBug ). Most let me add many so I can easily see what’s happening where my parents live or any other place. For privacy, the app remembering feels ( and is ) more privacy that if I must allow the app to see my location within feet.

Best Air Quality App. I've downloaded a few air quality apps and this one is by far the best one out there. Not only does it tell you what the particulate count is, but, it tells you how dangerous each one is to you and what exactly each particulate is. Great app!

Uses too much data. I was on a trip for a week and iOS said this app used 1GB of cellular data! Even in my home area it used almost 900MB for the previous month. Way too much data usage for an app like this.

Demands Location Services. Offers NO utility without Location Services' inherent loss of privacy, making me question the app's actual motive.

Thought It Was Good. I love the layout and idea of this app, but I lost faith in it these last few days during the Woolsey fire. It's told me all these days that the air quality here in LA is good..as it's raining ash.

So so. For an app you have to pay for, it is very simple and does not provide some things I have enjoyed in free apps. I like there is no advertising.

Awesome and Clean Design. I love this app and check it often. I love the layout, it's both easy to use and very clean looking.

Great Air Quality App. Clear presentation, clean interface, easy to use, has a nice map feature, no clutter. I use it every day.

Inaccurate and location required.. This week had been bad with fires, smokes, and falling ashes. App says good! Wrong! Why does app require location? Why can’t it be optional and let me enter location even if not currently?

Air Quality. Gr8 app. I watch it daily. Only wish I could have weather and air quality on my lock screen.

Missing critical feature. Missing the ability to add a custom location? Really? And charge a dollar for an app that is only half useful???

No station in Folsom, Ca. App thinks i live in Roseville. Umm, nope, thats 20 miles away in a different county. Not sure why it isn't connecting to the folsom station, but going to delete as it’s not helpful for me.

Make sure there are detectors in your global position. I can’t use the app because there are no detectors in my part of the world but the support from Air Lookout is helpful and professional

Good App, One Suggestion. App provides good air quality information in a simple, clean layout. One suggestion - on the Apple Watch complication, please give the user the ability to choose which air quality statistic to display. I live in an area where pollen is high, so I always see the pollen number rather than AQI on the complication. Would like to have the option to see AQI at all times.

Don’t Like New Format. Doesn’t give me as much info as old one.

Finally!. As someone with a breathing disability who’s job is mainly outdoors, I’ve been searching for an app to replace the American lung associations app that no longer works with IOS upgrades. My search is now over! This app not only shows the current air quality of my location, but nearby areas that I have to work in. THANK YOU! Simple to use. Easy to understand. Figured it out in less than five minutes. I use it every morning.

My station missing most important data!. I was excited to try this app specifically to get small, fine particulate matter and ozone because that is precisely the pollution generated in my air by landscape maintenance equipment, blowers being the worst! Please advise how I can contact my local station and get them to add this data. If I can get that, this app will be perfect!

Dangerous app. I have never left a negative review in the App Store before. I feel if an app does not need my needs, I can delete it and not worry about it. However, this app is dangerous. I live in an area that has been surrounded by wildfires for over a month. You’ve probably read about one of them – the Carr Fire – or heard about it in the national news. Because of the extensiveness of the fires to the south, north, east, and west of us, the air quality our community has generally been dangerous (an AQI of 150 or higher). This app consistently has under reported the air-quality in our community, saying it is "good" with AQIs around 30. It has also significantly under reported the air quality in Redding, California, where the Carr Fire began and claimed three lives and destroyed almost 1200 buildings. This malfunction is not on the same level as a malfunction of the game. People's lives depend upon the accuracy of air quality reports. And they are not getting it from this app. People in the high risk category jeopardize their health in bad air. And it’s not as simple as looking outside to see if it is smoky. Because of the nature of these fires, we have had days that appear relatively clear, but the air quality is very poor because of ozone as well as small particulates. I emailed the developer of this app and explained the problem. I was hoping to get a response from him, but I’ve received none. So, for your safety, do not download this app. I’m going to contact Apple to see if it can be removed from the App Store.

Love the detail this app has. The details of the information this app has is fantastic. The readout of the pollution in the air is worth the app. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Worthless. Does not tell me anything I don't already know.

Annoying. Asks you to review every time you open settings

Not quite. It’s a nice app but doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The data is not accurate (we have a very smoky, orange sky, and this app says ‘moderate’ (53) where other national weather apps put us at 158). Also, difficult to get to show info without location data. I don’t want to share location but just search by city/zip. The map saves this app, when I can get to it, past the location data requirement.

Nice app. I am slowly getting use to the app. It is helping to understand outside conditions so I can better control my asthma.

Feature Request. Love this app, wish it had local device notifications for poor conditions.

Doesn’t work, not worth the money. Invest your time and money in a different app. Very very disappointing.

Please add push notifications. In overall a good app. Please add the option to get push notifications when the air quality level is higher than a given specific level/target and location selected by the user.

Good for fire conditions. Great to check for particulate counts when the fire smoke roles through your area.

Primary Pollutant List. Who knew Denver had Nitrous Dioxide as a primary pollutant? Thank You for educating me!

No time stamps. The description implies that the information is updated every hour and the latest EPA data is shown. This does not appear to be the case. It doesn't display a time stamp so you can't tell how old the data is.

Does not have a complication. One review mentions the Apple Watch complication. No such thing, just an app on the watch. The app description doesn't itself claim there is a complication, but I was misled by the review so wanted to clarify.

Looks like a winner. I just purchased this app because of recent poor air quality in the Pacific Northwest due to wild fires. I haven't used it much yet, but my first impressions are that it looks like a well thought-out app by a detail-oriented and conscientious developer.

Outstanding Air Quality App. This is one of those Apps you See but don't see! I can't begin to tell you how outstanding this app is I truly thank the people who put this together and like the main gentleman who did this thanked his girlfriend for hanging in there for the amount of time it took him to have what I feel is an awesome Air Quality App I thank her also! Trust me down load this now you'll get the picture fast!

Overalll I like it. I like the goal of presenting an easy to read aggregate of available information. I wish I could look at other locations, not just where I am at the moment.

Doesn’t work in Bangkok. Trying to use in Thailand on iPhone X, doesn’t work, no location detected and just says “Title Here” for the city, Waste of money.

Great app with iOS widget. I wish it has more source sensors to pick from but it’s great if you just need an iOS Home Screen widget.

“Renting” is fine!. Just wanted to counter a review written by someone who says they don’t rent apps. There’s nothing wrong with subscription pricing and developers and designers have to make. Slicing. Keep up the good work!
