Little information. As another patient said before this USED to be a great app. My husband and mother could go on and look at labs, visit notes, etc. it’s ridiculous. I have been diagnosed in October of 2017 with a new illness. I’m seeing multiple providers for this issue. I required about 10-12 vials of blood to be drawn. I have a port because my veins are useless. So 2 of my other specialists sent lab requests over to Texas Oncology because they drew from my port. These were extremely important tests. It’s been over a month and not only have the labs not posted but there was no mention of my low iron that I have treatments for. In addition my physician got a little agitated saying that having all those tests run there was not going to work. He said he doesn’t read those labs and since it’s under his name he could be liable. Well, ok they are the ones who suggested this because it’s nearly impossible to draw from my veins. So I’m kinda stuck. I’ve sent messages thru this ridiculous “portal” which was the one thing baylor had going for it and now it’s useless too. Lastly I have a patient portal thru Texas Oncology and it’s no better. I don’t know what happened but it’s a real shame and disappointment because you can never get info by calling dr or nurse. Standard is “ let me pull that up and I’ll call you back or I’ll send results to your email. You are forgotten before the phone hangs up!

Issue seeing other patient (dependent) info. I love this app, but recently I am having trouble viewing my sons’ information. For example, when I click on messages and try to switch to see messages for one of my son’s the messages for me are still appearing. This is for the appointment category as well. I have to actually use the website link to check their information instead of the app. Hopefully this can be resolved soon. I restarted my phone multiple times just in case there was an error on my end, but that doesn’t help. I used to be able to view our information with ease, until a couple of weeks ago

Security is NOT a Priority for BSW. MyBSWHealth (built on Epic’s MyChart) is the only patient portal of 9 Healthcare Systems that I use (also built on Epic’s MyChart) that does not support Two Factor Authentication / Multifactor Authentication. This is not remotely acceptable considering the size of Baylor Scott and White and that MyChart offers a native solution for one-time passcode via email or SMS that is easy to implement out of the box. Given that patients link their MyCharts across multiple healthcare organizations, this makes BSW the weak link for exposing large amounts of patient data in the event of a compromised password. It is RARE that a healthcare organization using Epic does not offer this feature in MyChart. It is crucial that you enable this feature to secure patient data. Given the large amounts of money that have been spent on marketing for the application and the beautiful UI/UX, I’m very disappointed that security is not considered mission critical for the portal! :(

I Appreciate the BSW portal so very much. Baylor Scott White staff and doctors are so attentive to their patients, by always responding to patient health questions via the BSW portal. I have to tell you how comforting it is to get quick responses from my PCP and my other doctors when I use the BSW portal. It’s helps me decide my health decisions by giving me professional guidance. Other doctors outside BSW I have found do not always use their portals. In fact I was told once to stop using the portal by another doctor’s office that was not BSW. BSW - they care for their patients by always responding within the BSW portal which is user friendly, and easy to use. Thank you BSW. I stay with BSW mainly because they help me both in the office and on their communication via their portal.

Convenient when needed.. When I am busy with our children, family and career, this app keeps me organized with my doctors appointments. I like that doctors and nurses can send me messages and I can reply at a later time. Do not misunderstand me, I truly like face to face communication. Often texts create miscommunication. There is none better than face to face communication and feedback. However, when life throws us curve balls as it often does, this app truly makes life a little more simple.

App Needs Some Improvements. I access this app to view documents, appointments, test results and communicate with drs offices for my 77yo father. I’m able to navigate things myself but it’s not very user friendly for older patients. This should be streamlined in a way that makes it much easier for older patients to navigate and access their information. For example accessing test results takes extra clicks to links within messages to access when they could be simplified by clicking on “test results” and viewing a list of results by date with a comprehensive naming for the result so that I know what type of test it was before opening them. Instead I have to click “test results” and then click a link in a message to view them not knowing what results I’m viewing until they open. Also, I would suggest adding a feature for archiving messages in bulk or at least having an option to slide left or right to mark messages as “read”. There are multiple other improvements like these that could improve the user experience for this app and more importantly make this easier to navigate for elder patients. Overall I’m able to get the information I need for my dad and give it 4 stars. However, I doubt that the elder community currently utilizes this much due to the difficulty they likely have with navigation and overall user experience.

BSW Patient Potral. This BSW app is so convenient, reliable and stress free. I love the way in which I can view all of my labs & test! Then without making an appointment I can ask or voice my concerns with my doctors without making appointments. This saves time & saves money. But also, it is comforting to have doctors reply without going through a third party. And the doctors reply in a very reasonable time frame. This is the best experience I have had in my ongoing medical care! 👍👍👍for BaylorScott&White who truly care about their patients!

Jo Nell Morris. Site is confusing. When you get a alert that you have a message on My Chart, there is no information about what the message is - a test result, a message from the dr. or an appointment reminder? You have to look around MyChart to try and find what the alert is. More information should be given when the alert is sent. Why shouldn’t My Chart open up directly to the information being sent. Not user friendly.

Faithful App user. I like the features of the old app as it was easier to attach the appointment to your smart phone calendar. I am not sure how to attach the appointments now since the app changed. Also on appointments I see the providers are having issues navigating just as well the changes. If the system is not broke then don’t mess with it. It helps the doctors to give the patient their undivided attention without them spending appointment time looking for where they need to notate. I’m not sure of the new changes I am still navigating the changes.

I actually stay on top of my health. It’s a valuable tool in many ways. It shows me the appointments I have coming up. It lets me send and receive messages to my providers whose response rate is phenomenally prompt. It reminds me which key health tasks have been done or need to be done in a quick visual. I’m able to add my flex card and make payments. I was with another practice for eight years which used Healow. Healow was not as easy to use nor as comprehensive. There were messages that my provider sometimes missed. I was almost going to return to that practice because familiarity, ya know? Their appointment availability was usually quicker to see my provider but this app was a key factor in deciding to stay with the BSW Health system. Every provider I see can access all my records and I can easily, too. I can see the after visit summary. The doctors follow up with me in ways and I feel in control of that information in ways that I did not feel with the other practice.

No you can’t. The app is next to useless except for marketing. It says you can send messages but it’s misleading. It’s only good for finding more business/keeping you coming back to them. If you need to send a message forget it. Like if you need a copy of your medical records, for example, you have to find a recipient to send to send the request to. The only good thing this app provides is a phone number. All this wonderful technology blah blah comes down to having to call someone on the phone and you know how that goes. You call, hold, ask a question, hold, find out you need to call yet another number, hold, oh wait they’re out to lunch, call back and hold later. You’re better off to delete this app and Google the phone number. Oh well, it does show a few test results but what good are they? What am I going to do with that? It just encourages another friggin appointment which is all they are after. It’s ridiculous in this day and age that we have to to call someone live for a simple question. Two people have to stop whatever they are doing at a certain time and connect over the phone. How archaic is that? And why would I want to go back there when they spilled debris in my gi tract during a gallbladder op requiring a second operation the next day? Or was it the excellent diagnosis of “You’re stressed out, go home and relax” only to be doubled over days later? Or not getting any pain relief because doctors are terrified and 100% submitted to ignorant politicians.

Frustrating. Half the time the app can only open partial features and of course messages are one of them. I get a notification there is a message from a physician and I can't get it until the app is fixed. Sometimes the next day. This needs remedying bc messages are sometimes crucial to contact labs, radiology or get results depending on the situation. I also don't need notifications for messages that say I have an appointment. I know I do, I just made it. Just log it in the app and I'll refer to it later. Test results are nice to have notifications, I like that feature.

Just ok, but a pain if you have major medical work. Most apps should be intuitive, right? Now I am going to have to call user support or get to an online manual. This app was okay for onesie-twosie medical care. After a major heart surgery and rehab, it became ridiculous. A ton of test results hit my app (4 days’ worth of blood results, readings, summaries from ICU, regular hospital floor, anesthesiologist, surgeon, daily nurses) and offices kept scheduling appointments with me. I couldn’t keep up. Results and appointments are not sortable or readily identified, so I had to click on dozens of test results and appointments. So easy to lose track of where you are on the app. Developers need to keep this situation in mind.

Worst run hospital - Pete McCanna. As a patient since 2009, the new centralized answering service to contact any of the BSW doctors and their staff to get any information is an awful inconvenience. I can appreciate the savings you are seeking as one who participated in the creation of a Shared Services for accounting, but the quality of communication for the patients to their medical staff within BSW has nose dived. The individuals answering the phones have no idea what’s going on or how to answer any questions specific to which Dr’s office you’re trying to reach. Returned calls from those offices are spotty and the time delay’s create an extensive inconvenience. On multiple occasions I was given a lengthy website address to TYPE IN to get to a form; it’s almost like BSW doesn’t want to help or answer any questions. Like you, I’m a business professional that is very computer savvy, and it’s still near impossible to get all the backslashes and dashes correctly typed while someone is barking it at you. To me, it seems like you have set the clock back on the use of technology to centralize information and made for a horrible customer service experiment that will make me think twice about where my family and I go next for treatment. This consistently happens, all the time! Do better!

You can’t complete care companion for your kids. Or honestly do anything for your kids because the ap won’t let you switch to their main page. You can only see your care companion. Which fine whatever but then I get constant texts and notifications to complete something I can’t even access for my children. I miss the old days when the app was first started when there was an option at the top to switch between you and your dependents. Now you have a billion more options and not a single one of them is patient friendly not to mention as soon as you get used to the app it will change. It has changed almost every update

BSW App Meets the need!. The BSW app is one of the things I like best about BSW Medicare Advantage because everything is in one place, especially appointments, timely feedback on labs, managing paperwork and communicating with doctors and others. I can also manage my copays with a card on file and get estimates on any upcoming procedures. My history is all there when I need to refer to it. All in all, my interaction with the paperwork details of healthcare is easier and I can concentrate more on getting the care I need. It’s a blessing!

Frustrating. I’ve been using this app for a few years now but recently I linked my children's profiles to my main profile and it’s not working well at all. When I go to view their stuff it brings up my information most of the time. When I try to message one of my children’s doctors it says the message is for me and it will not let me change it to their name so I can message their doctors. At first it wasn’t too bad and it wasn’t happening too often but now it’s happening every time I get on the app and it’s frustrating. I receive a message from one of my kids doctors on the app and then I go to the app and I can’t view it even though I’m selecting one of my children's names. Again it keeps bringing up my information after I select the profile that I want to view. This app is great for just one person. I would not suggest this app if you are planning on keeping up with any of your other family members profile.

Great App!. It is hard to remember how we lived before we started using this app. Never worry about losing a scheduling card as it adds them right to my calendar. Test results available as soon as lab has them completed so I have time to think about what I want to ask the doctor about them. After appointment comments so you are reminded what my doctor requested or told me to do. Always have my list of medications with me. Whoever developed this app should get a pay raise.

Quality Of Life Answers At Your Fingertips. Direct connection to your physician’s and their staff. Reminders for your appointments. All your test results go directly onto your page, most with enough information to understand the complex. Open your app and you get answers with the ability to communicate directly with someone able to help. Fast, easy, and complete, I’m proud to be a part of the Baylor team who designed this valuable communication experience.

Office personal and RN support. Kathy in the reception at Dr Gill’s Frisco office is exceptional handling issues we have had over the past weeks. She has helped both my wife and I with billing questions and she got them sorted out for us very efficiently and patiently. Kudos to her for her pleasant demeanor and friendly attitude. Cypress has been a very helpful RN to support Dr Gill with good interpretations of the different meds we have and following up up to make sure we understand the instructions re taking the meds. Thank you to the whole team in Dr Gills practice, Kind regards, Jan and Gary Basham

Junk. Set this up once when I first got set up with my doctor. Login was saved in phone. A year later I saw the doctor again and my account was gone and had to get set up again. Went a long time not seeing doctor. Saw him recently and got a notice that my labs were ready and I could view them. Again I couldn’t log in. Im so wiped out I can’t even use “Forgot Password” or “Forgot Login” although I didn’t forget them. If you’re a hypochondriac and constantly log it it might be good but if you see a doc once a year or so forget it. I work with computers as my job maintaining employee accounts for a large hospital network so I’m pretty computer savvy but even I hate this system. Expecting employees to maintain accounts is one thing but expecting patients to maintain logins for the rare times they see their doctor is a pain. I say just put my labs in the snail mail!

App no longer works. It’s been awhile since I’ve used this app, and I wanted to try and see where my blood lab results were versus where they are now (recently started to eat better and exercise and I’ve lost almost 30 lbs). I can’t see anything at all. When I log in, it gives me an ‘Error: 50’ message but continues through to the app. I can’t see anything. No messages, no due balance, nothing. The only things I see are ways to add pharmacies, and the nearest pharmacy to me. When I tried to Find Care, it let me search only to show me a glimpse of the search results, then glitch and make me have to restart the app to try again only for it not to work again. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling, yet I get the same problem. I’m not sure what happened between the span I wasn't using this app, but it’s useless now. I really wish they would’ve left this app as it was. It was a great app that had a lot of information at your fingertips before and now it gives you absolutely nothing. I won’t be using this app anymore until I can actually use it again. For now, I’m deleting it from my phone. Very disappointed.

AMAZING FACILITY AND STAFF. There are not enough words to say everything I want to say about the staff and facility of BSWH in Temple, Texas!!! First off is the staff, everyone who I had contact with during my stay was the upmost example of people who truly have a passion for caring for people in their bad times. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate in every since of the words. No questions was too much. If my family or I had a question they made a means to get us the answer quickly. They are simply the best in the business. The facility is simply a reflection of the caring staff who operates it. Thank you all for everything!!!!!

Add to Calendar gone?. I can’t seem to add to my calendar my appointments individually at all now, much less sync them as I would have liked to have done without me the patient having onerously having to track all this myself without the app helping me. Just ask us permission to sync and then add everything to our calendars please. Also your servers are so slow - both for sign in and just checking messages. Also when I check an appointment message and go to check another the drop down falls back to the first step so multiple taps are required to do anything - and experience the slowness for minutes at a time of attempted use.

New App Impossible!!!. The new “updates’ have print so small they are impossible to read. And my doctors did not import from MyChart & you have no link to add doctors! Plus it only displays one appt instead of all upcoming. MyChart design is far superior to new app. Please stop letting Millennials design your websites! Their small print infatuation is ridiculous, unwieldly, & totally useless! If one expands the print then you can’t see the whole line. Plus BSW’s billing system is still a mess because it doesn’t display your total balance, just for each individual procedure. So you end up waiting for insurance to decide whether to pay & then it’s past due. BSW could collect a lot quicker if they would give a running balance like every other billing system!

Awesome. I’m diabetic and apple health/fitness user. This app connection with Apple Health has made keeping all my data in one place much easier. All my labs, medications, and other varieties of health data all automatically update and change within the Health app where a lot of my other data is also stored from other sources. I’m looking forward to the medication update in iOS 16 so I can ditch the 3rd party tracker. My only small issue is that it doesn’t currently have the ability to share my Health data back to my physician. Hoping that’ll be in an update at some point. This really does make health and fitness much more convenient by allowing me to see all my differently sourced data in one place.

Terrible. Received a text that I had a bill. For 8+ hours every time I tried to look it said sever not available. Then today I want to remove a payment option visible in the app and that option does not exist in the app. I called tech support who could not do it and he transferred me to billing who could not even see it! This is impossible. Totally incompetent. ADDED I read your reply and it is inadequate. I did not add that information into your system, and not did I agree that you could keep it in your system. It must have been entered by a receptionist when she took my payment in person. As consumer I should be allowed to remove it immediately and not when a bill is due. But when you have a data breech I will surely include you, the crappy developer, in the lawsuit for not allowing consumers to protect themselves.

Profit over patient care. That’s correct they care more about their profit than they care about their patients care. Recently I had to call in a refill for a prescription the doctor refuses to refill it unless I see him because it’s a controlled substance. Of course they never called me and told me that I needed to make an appointment to come see him they just refused to do the refill. Then when I do make the appointment they call me up for a co-pay and when I tell them I’ve been out of work for 14 days because of Covid they don’t care. But these are the same doctors that play politics with your Health refusing unique treatments that will work for Covid. Don’t trust any doctor at Scott and White they’re profiteers nothing more

Features that I used to rely on are now gone.. I have used this application for most of the time that I have been treated. I used to be able to view my medical data and also my current medication list from the app. I also used to be able to go into each upcoming appointment and add them to my calendar so that I could schedule rides and appointments with my family now you can only add the first one on the main page. These features were great time and hassle savers because they kept mistakes from being made when transcribing them to my calendar or for filling out paperwork.

Mostly great, but major problems. I think the app can be really useful Recently I wanted to see my cholesterol tests over time and I was able to see ALL of them since I started going to a BSW facility about 5 years ago, copy them manually to a spreadsheet, and have a look over time. But there are very frustrating, annoying parts. Mainly with messages. Maybe 25% of the time, the app just hangs trying to get a list of messages or sometimes it says they’re not available. Some of this is critical info. Like I’m going for a procedure that has specific dietary requirements and specific steps to follow. I NEED to view those messages. And that’s the other problem. The only things I can do with a message is reply or delete it. There’s no print or forward or download. I’d really like to forward all of these detailed instructions to my email where I can print them for easier viewing and to highlight things. But this app has the messages locked up and only available within the app. An app which sometimes just won’t show you messages. And I can’t even copy to paste them to an email app. Frustrating. Messages should be more available and we should be able to move that info wherever we as patients find it useful.

Inaccurate for employees. My husband works for Baylor Health so he has employee insurance. We are both signed in with the app and when we view our claims it shows us under the employee insurance EQA. That’s where that ends. When we try to search for an in network doctor it doesn’t always pull up tier 1 doctors for our EQA. Today I was informed that the only doctor I could pull up under cardiology is not tier 1 and I need to get referred to another doctor who is. I’ve already waited over a month for this appointment and now I’m starting over again. My heart health has been getting worse. I’m facing another long length of time due to the app not pulling up the doctors under our plan. I don’t know if I can wait that long. This is a very inconvenient situation. EQA needs to be set up in this. I also don’t like that we can’t link our children with our account. THR has the ability to do this and Baylor doesn’t. It would be nice to have this feature.

Establishing a preventative Cardiac Doctor. My wait time in the lobby was short and very pleasant receptionist LaShaunda (not sure of the spelling) was so welcoming and knew her job well. She was cheery and a pleasure to be the first I met on my first time here at Baylor Scott and White. I wanted to establish a rapport with a heart physician and Dr. Chhana was all I was looking for and then some. He was professional on time and thorough. His communication skills is EXCELLENT and I am so grateful to have him as my new Cardiac Physician even though my heart health report was very good and hope to only come back for a follow up and annually, I am so happy to have such a good doctor on my team. His nurses and staff mirrored the same exact professionalism and EXCELLENCE as the last nurse during my recent visit. I am very excited to have been introduced to Dr. Chhana and his staff and the staff of Baylor Scott and White, GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU, Angelia Mugavero

In the know. I’ve been a fan off the app since learning to message my doc when it isn’t important to get an answer right away, but something is bugging me. Many other docs have begun using apps, but the patient portals and attendant messaging options are not NEARLY as user-friendly as the BSW app. For the past year, I’ve been dealing with three giant kidney stones (all over 1.3 cm). Multiple surgeries. Boo-hiss. But this app kept me updated on when a procedure was scheduled (when at a BSW hospital) who was doing the procedure(s) etc. sometimes the app even clued me in before the doc office updated me. The one option I’ve stumbled with was in my treasured messaging section of the app. There are actually multiple types of messages, so if it says a new message is in, it might not be a personal message; it might be more of a notification. And you have to change the option to see it.

Awful experience. We went to clinic. Dr referred us to hospital to give blood test. 5 days passed and one of the result was not ready yet. They told us that they forgot to examine blood samples for ESR. We tried to talk to doctor but we were asked to pay again for the visit. We wanted to see the test results and recommendation about the health problem. But they didn’t send us as an email. We went to clinic one more time and saw a nurse, discussed about test result, she did not know anything what the test results were about and the abbreviations stand for. She told us to wait and went back to ask to the doctor, than secretary told us that we can go now because nurse was not gonna say anything. We really disappointed. Overall we felt that they tried to get rid of us.

Hip graphics in the way of detail. Anything looking like a Instagram screen is an automatic sign of a lack of seriousness. Critically, I can’t print or make digital copies for email attachments of test results in a business document format. Jpeg pictures of several pages of what should be a two page business style document is a serious limitation. Why? I have non-Baylor physicians who need to see the professional medical level documents, my chart effectively, in order to avoid duplicated tests and keep my treatment plans with them current. I am own medical care coordinator. I need help on this not hip graphic hubris. Speaking of: use the entire screen. Present my information in the largest, boldest and highest contrast form possible. Many of us use the puny screens on phones or tablets (don’t even think of responding with device accessibility settings) and need your best graphic presentation in the original form. Medical stuff is serious business and should look like it. Forget flash, bling and style. It is, after all, my information and I pay you to present it as well as create it. It’s time for you to meet this requirement with business and scientific clarity.

COMPLAINT. WHY…… if you send me a text message telling me there is a message regarding my severely handicapped daughter whose account I manage, then why can’t it go directly to that message, or at least go to Allegra‘s account, rather than make me hunt through my own account to find a portal into Allegra‘s account?? Under normal circumstances, if i’ll access my account, then in the upper right corner, I can directly access Allegra‘s account. But when you send me a darn message that has nothing to do with me, then why must I hunt through my own account to find a single, hidden portal into Allegra‘s account!?!?!?

New MyCart is horrible: NEED TUTORIAL. We can not email our doctors, can’t get access to my payment information, drug list, previous visits, upcoming visits, etc. Today that information was Not accessible. This is terrible doctor/patient communication. The previous MyChart was extremely easy to use. Please bring it back. If the executives did not like it, I’m sure you like even less losing patients to other facilities. MyChart, the way it was, made us enjoy BSW because of easy access to our information. So if emails were not to a doctors performance, hire more doctors. You can not operate a successful business like this “new and improved” system. Bring back the older version, it worked. EDIT: IT TOOK A NURSE TO SHOW US HOW YOUR NEW MESS WORKS. YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD SOME KIND OF TUTORIAL TO HELP EVERYONE MANEUVER THIS SITE. !!!!!! SHAME ON YOU FOR NEGLECTING THAT. I HATE THAT TYPE OF SHOPPING AND HUNTING. NOW I HAVE BEEN DEPRIVED OF INFORMATION THAT I NEEDED EARLIER.

Can’t remember life before this app!. Honestly I don’t know how I managed my five daughters’ medical needs before this app was available for full clinical services ranging from refills, appointments, records and more! Now with the recent update it seems that we can start e-visits which means we’ll make the 2.5 hour commute from San Antonio much less frequently, saving even more time and increasing the expanding conveniences offered by the app to the general public! I have maintained my childrens’ medical care with Scott & White for 17 years now and considering their excellent staff of pediatricians, and their optimal performance of medical services, it’s been worth the extra time and effort needed for the past five years since we relocated out of the area to keep them under the S&W family medical care program! So not only do I recommend S&W but it’s app also deserves a hands down, five star, two thumbs up review imo!

My care. I have been very happy with my care @ BSW Starting with the front desk have to say they are polite conscientious and caring.. Dr Patel was wonderful! Intelligent With good communication skills which is so important as a patient seeking care so completely comfortable even when discussing a problem. Showed respect to all others she worked with .. if I had a concern she listened and used common sense … I recommended her to others .. her staff worked as a team even when I preferred Another person to administer an injection that I was more comfortable with from previous shots.. I trusted that if that was not possible she would have not obliged.. Very professional behavior even when busy I will miss her !! Hoping Dr Kim is all these things too.. last but certainly not least I Really appreciate the organization skills of BSW as well as even the people that set up Your follow up procedures and appointments .. one last thing a few issues that did come up were handled professional nobody blamed others or passed the buck they just seamlessly seemed to handle it like adults and solved the problem and communicated with problem Solving skills …you don’t see much of that in other health care organizations… Clinic and hospital staff thumbs up.

Review. I have been extremely happy with MYBSW experience. I would have given five stars except for the problems I had getting set up with your MYBSW app. It was not user friendly for seniors. It was a bit frustrating at times, and after all, I am in the ‘over 65’ 1B slot. I will mention that this would be especially hard for ‘seniors’ without a cell phone or computer. But once past that, everything went extremely smooth from the time we drove in the lineup to get signed in, to the actual time we received our shot, everything went extremely smooth. Thank you BSW for an easy experience. Well done.

Too complicated for med refills. Since upgrading the medication refill is too complicated. I think whomever develops them do not understand that it should remain at a 5th grade level and simple to operate. To get refills now it takes too long to search for meds and find your pharmacy. The last two times I requested refills I was not even sure I requested to the correct pharmacy. This should as few steps as possible. Right now it is not very simple to order refills and disappointed in BSW and the app. Also struggling with getting refills thru the refill center as they never get the correct pharmacy attached as I use two different ones for different meds depending on what is covered by insurance.

Dr Clifford great doctor wrong number/ should get better support. I used the Baylor app to find Dr Clifford’s phone number. I had a very hard time reaching Dr Clifford. I reached mammography. Who after I begged for help told be to Google his number. They said they had no way to connect me. They offered me no numbers, not even a main number. Google has the wrong number for Dr. Clifford as well. After speaking with a Geriatric clinic I contacted my insurance company and they got me a good number for Dr. Clifford. I am sure Dr Clifford is losing patience who lose patience with trying to contact him. I don’t know why I stuck it out, but I’m so glad I did. He is so worth it. He is a great doctor. He deserves better support from the Baylor app.

Dr. Makdumi. I had my first appointment yesterday. I am so very pleased with this appointment. Dr. Makdumi was extremely easy to talk to and concerned about my issues. She was very invested in assuring my health needs were heard. I was very apprehensive about seeing a Rheumatologist after prior experiences, but Dr. Makdumi made me very comfortable. Her follow up was just as impressive. I am 58 years old and I have seen many doctors in my time. I am very pleased to write this review for such an awesome doctor. The staff was very friendly and professional! Best first appointment ever!! Thank you Dr.!!!

Very difficult to maneuver. The old app was very user friendly and everything was at your fingertips. You could access your medical records, make an appointment, get test results and talk to your doctor and everything was laid out very clearly. This app is THE most complicated and confusing my chart app I have ever used. I have been using it for awhile and I still have not gotten used to it. Nothing flows or makes sense to me. You get into one section and it pops you out completely, the sections as where to access information is not logical and when I think information should be in a particular place it is not. I absolutely am totally frustrated with this app. It is very time consuming and difficult and I do not like the way it is laid out.

Awesome—equivalent to a virtual personal assistant!. This is my first time visiting and using the BSW clinic in Temple,TX and using their app. All appointments are visible from the dashboard and any updates or additions are immediately reflected within the app. Location and telephone number for the various services as required by appointments is provided within the appointment details. Communication with BSW facility personnel is facilitated with a direct messaging option. Appointment modifications are facilitated through the app as well. Awesome time saver—download the app and track all appointments, past history and communicate via messaging all in one place.

Johnetta Polk. Enough cannot be said about the super quality of service you will experience at any of the Baylor Scott White clinics or Hospitals Their physicians, nurses, staff and volunteers are there with one purpose and that’s to make sure You receive the best medical, personal assistance, and relationship necessary to make your needs met with the utmost respect and care necessary; so when go home you have the satisfaction that Baylor Scott White knows you! A patient and not a Number You have a Doctor or PA and Nurse who genuinely cares. And, with My Chart, where ever you travel you have your records at your fingertips. Hassle free. I almost forgot short on cash , inquire about how they can help in that time of need. We never know when we that unexpected can happen. So Ask! I am sure your needs are important to Baylor Scott White. I am proud to be a patient of 4 their finest physicians.

Concern. I am concerned regarding the vague message regarding obtaining the Covid vaccine. I would like to know the process for obtaining the Covid vaccine . I have called the number and unfortunately taken up the time of staff that tells me i will be contacted. I am in the 1B group and most if my friends have been contacted. I check my BSW portal daily and the message is the same. I would hope that there is some protocol but your information is vague? Are you going by age? For example 80 plus then 75 plus then 70 etc. or by alphabetical order or by physician? I really don’t care nor want special treatment but would like to know how the”list” is made. Thus i have contacted my county, other cities, and gotten on other lists too.

Park Lane Endocrinology —Dr. Emilia Popa & Thao Nguyen, PA. WOW! How blessed am I having such an amazing, experienced medical team guiding my diabetes care plan for years. I am always greeted warmly from reception, to checking in with the nurse. It is often that I get to speak to both doctors, if only in passing, not just the one I have an appointment with. I have been coming here for two decades. Here I’ve been guided in best practices for managing my type 2 diabetes—from nutrition to a progression of medication that helped me manage my diabetes and maintain blood sugar control. As new medicines have become available on the market, these informed doctors converse with me about them and possible logical next steps, such as the Ozempic semiglutide I began in June of 2022, and I’m now taking with great results. I’ve seen success personally in maintaining my overall health and well being after having diabetes for 27 years. Thank you Baylor for finding such exceptional doctors to be part of your system and making the conditions right for retaining them on your team. Kind regards, Dr. Lynda Carter

Comment. I like having my app for my husband so I can always keep his appointment organized, plus the address & phone if I had them with the Dr.s name . I love all his Dr. S that he has . He has had surgery twice down there & we live a 3 hour drive away. I like it when we can have a video visit for a check up. So we do have to drive 3 hours down there & 3 hours back if he’s not having a problem or the Dr. needs to check. Thank you .God Bless You All Rowena

Giving a review. I just want to compliment Scott & White hospital for everything they have done for me since I moved down to Texas in 2016. I had open heart surgery in 2017 to replace my aortic valve with a mechanical one and I did have a stroke in 2020 and it wasn't a major stroke where it could've paralyzed me but I couldn't speak normal and my wife called 911. Anyways I'm grateful this good hospital. Scott and White I give them a 5 star to say they are the best. I'm originally from Michigan. Born and raised in Michigan

Dependent Pages. I hat it when I get a text message or an email about one of my dependents having a message or test result and I click on the link and it goes to my own page and not theirs. Then I can never figure out how to get to their messages or test results. I need to click on the link and be taken directly to my dependents page instead of hunting and pecking all over my profile trying to find theirs!

Hardly ever works…. This is a perfectly useful app… 20% of the time. Recently over the last month I constantly reacieve a “we’re unable to open some features of MyBSWHealth at this time. Please close MyBSWHealth and try again later, if the issue persists.” The problem is I will close out and try again later and I still have that exact same problem, around 20% of the time can actually use the app, it must be a bug or something, but it’s making this app almost useless.

Confusing. To an 83 year old who did not grow up with computers, it is confusing to me. And I have a really hard time coming up with the password you want. I think I type what I set up, but it seldom works the first, or second, time. Maybe the third time works. I think it is a good thing to have. Get an answer to a simple thing you need to know. Really a good, idea. I just have a hard time accessing it. Maybe make it easier for us ancients.

BSW portal my BSW. I have been unable to get into “My BSW Portal “ for several years assume I’m locked out, occasionally I have asked anyone that I thought could help me to no avail and did not know whom to contact. Any kind of support that you would think could help are not to be found. Different offices would ask if I had a portal if not get one. I used it weekly to keep up to date and I miss .

Best Service Out Patient Clinic & Hospital. I have had a every bad experience with other hospitals and Dr’s with bed side manors or just to listen about what’s going on with me . I have literally waited a whole year just to go back and see Dr.’s at Baylor Scott and White !! Having the App with Baylor Scott and White this is awesome , you get excellent response back from a doctor or nurse you get to see your labs and anything else . Everybody replies within five minutes I wouldn’t go anywhere‘s else I love Baylor Scott and White!!

Mobile app does not provide email capability. It took me 2-3 times to finally figure out how to email my doctor as this option is not available in the Mobil app. I had to go to the BSW website to be able to access my doctors and be able to contact them. This feature was available in MyChart. Another thing, all doctors are not shown in the list, just 3 or so and website lists them all. Thank you.

It's a great help!. The numerous features of the app make it invaluable. At the same time, there are deficiencies. For example, only portrait mode is available for my iPad. Tech support is fairly minimal plus it's only available 8-5; I would think people would be using the app other than the middle of the workday. Especially since waiting can consume a lot of time.

Open Appointments on Mondays!. It is important that everyone in the doctor's office should keep some Monday appointments open for issues that happen over the weekend. Why can't you leave availability for Mondays a priority! In addition to this, I had an issue finding an appointment today with any personnel listed. I had to fill out the same information multiple times and still could not schedule an appointment. You are not serving the patient with quality care. C. Pruet

App review. I love my portal!! It’s a great way to communicate with my medical staff! And I can see test results, make appointment’s. It’s very user friendly. My family are always telling me of how envious they are of how easy it is for me to get a hold of a staff members if I have any problems or questions! I recommend this to anyone who are looking for a more convenient and personal experience with medical professionals.

Cannot export notes. On the phone app you cannot easily export the doctors notes to share with loved ones. You have to do a screenshot of each screen and there can be more than 20, so that is not reasonable. Please allow export of information to a message and or file and or email. On the PC, I can cut and paste large sections of text and move them to another program. It would be helpful to have an export function of the PC web interface to ease capturing of information for my off-line permanent records

Old app was great so why change it?. Really don’t like the new app and am having problems signing in. Called the help line and after 15 minutes on hold I hung up. So answer me this why in the hell did you take something good and screw it up? Is someone forcing this change? I know the world of software changes and should if there are problems but my old motto is if it ain’t broken don’t fix it!

Changes. Trying to keep up with the latest updates on my chart is difficult when they don’t allow for us older people to keep up with appointments in calendar apps. Thank you for responding, I have not been able to transfer from m/c to my calendar using iPhone or iPad. It would be very helpful to do this.

Thank you Dr. Vera and her amazing staff!. I just have to say that I’m taking care of my 75-year-old mother and I sometimes get overwhelmed with responsibilities. The staff at Baylor Scott and White is so helpful prompt and always have an amazing attitude I sometimes don’t know how to handle her medical situation but I know that I can call Dr. Vera and her staff will always explain everything thoroughly and call me back with answers so thank you Dr. vera and her staff for being so patient and helpful!

Zhaoxv Zuo, RN. He was my RN, while I was at Baylor Scott and White. He went by Kevin because, I’m sure, I would’ve had a hard time with his real name. He was one of the most conscientious and caring people I’ve ever known. My medicine was given on time and correctly. If Kevin didn’t hear from me, he would stop in just to check on me. I felt that his understanding of medicine was top-notch and his skills were wonderful. Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine, Texas is truly blessed to have a nurse like Kevin.

Best ever. Being 73 a vet that’s a amputee I’ve had many medical conditions treated from stage 3 10 years ago to everythunder the sun, I decided to pay my 200 per month supplement so I wouldn’t be forced to use the VA. BSW and my chart make everything I use them for a joy better doctor/staff and facilities. Thank you BSW for giving me at least 10 more years than if I stayed 100%at VA.

Much easier route to RX requests. My life is so much easier with this app, especially regarding turnaround time on RX requests. Used to call main number or pharmacy would fax refill requests. Repeat. To no avail. Often I would be reduced to going to DD desk to request in person. Very frustrating. With the app, can go straight to Dr. and turnaround the same day. Easy Peasey. Really like the visit recaps that I can access.

Baylor’s Care. If I am writing about the care at Baylor as the daughter and guardian of my mother when she was an inpatient, it is my pleasure. She received excellent treatment from heart hospital ER to transport to 6th floor nursing to Pt/Ot to cleaning crew to kitchen to case mgr to chaplain. Everyone was efficient, effective, professional, and caring. I spent day and night in Mom’s room and saw the care first hand. They were particularly accepting that I was only there cause Mom had dementia and required a little more understanding. Vicky Blashfield

My Chart App review. Positive - - Getting to access my records anytime I want - I love the thumbprint sign in - it encourages me to check my account more often - the message system is working out great. Half of that is due to my awesome Drs/nurses who reply quickly, usually. - I like being able to check on things, make updates, and even read the notes my docs wrote about our visit. - all around, improving communication between me and my care providers is a WIN-WIN!! Negatives - 1/2 star (but I had to take a whole star away): - I wish Archives to the messages I have sent my doctor were available. I can only see what I wrote when the dr replies. As you can see, the positives far outweigh the negatives! I’m a FAN!!

Billing. Had a three-way call with my insurance company on the line with someone from billing. Thought everything was cleared up and was reassured from the billing department in Scott in White that it was . Still everything is a hot mess. I got a refund yet I was sent a large bill saying I owe some thing. I’m extremely frustrated with Baylor Scott White. The more they change things with the technology, All my appointments and communication is all messed up. It was more simpler when I started back in 1999 there were no mistakes!!!! Never had a problem with any of my insurance or bills I AM NOT CHANGING MY REVIEW😫 For you to say it’s not being taken serious is very confusing and frustrating. I stated facts

Records. Brought my medical records in to be placed in my records, informed the young lady that I need the records back. Left my phone number. She placed it on your folder, placed my records folders in your packet. Went to X-ray to place all my cat scans, MRI’s, x-rays. She copped all my CD,s as I waited. All cd’s are on my my account. However, the written records are not on my chart nor did I get a phone call. I can not trust your company. You cancel labs do no inform the customer. Can not give a simple phone call. If you don’t have your phone number set to inform the customer it’s you call is ignored, I’d as scammers. Thank you for not taking care of the customer.

No ipad app? Seriously?. Tried to sign up for this app on an ipad. Imagine my surprise when the app only opens in portrait on an ipad connected to a keyboard in landscape mode. As a former IT worker, I am constantly surprised at the slipshod development of apps and web pages that I run across. I give this 3 stars instead of 1 because it did function properly on my phone, although there was some funkiness around initial sign in and the lack of proper error messaging. It’s the little things that make apps and pages look polished and that the developer has coded with the end user in mind.

BSW app. Their app is difficult and fairly useless compared to other doctor’s offices. You can forward your tests to other doctors. You can’t message the doctor. You can’t print off your own test results. I feel like Baylor Scott and White overall is a non-patient friendly as a whole, from calling to talk to a specific doctor’s office or nurse, to booking appointments, taking to your doctor about medicine or getting instructions on what’s next to if/when you should book your next appointment and then there’s parking. The lab was quite distracted and it was the worst lab person to draw my blood ever.

Phenomenal. If you’re new to BSW, this app is essential. It is a game changer. I use this app almost daily to take care of myself and my parents whom I care for. The app takes your electronic health record data that lives in Epic’s MyChart, and brings it to life. Everything that you need to connect to care, access medical records, send messages, and book appointments is here. If you’re new to BSW, please supplement your care experience with this app. You will not regret it.

Dr. Ryan is THE best doctor EVER!!. The care and attention Dr. Ryan takes with me as his patient is as if I am his own mother. He is knowledgeable, patient and caring. I am telling you I went in thinking there is no way his ratings can be this high without him paying people to write nice things, but I was wrong. He is a 5 ⭐️ and more! His nurse is equally as kind. The AP and portal and digital everything makes going to the doctor easy, breezy and efficient. His hours are not typical so he can cater to working people’s schedule. What a find!!

Thanks steven to 6th floor nurse station.. My mom stayed on 6th floor for many days for her complicated condition. We received a great patient care with excellent experience with staff. They took our family concerns seriously and gave her a really good care. On top of that I would like to thanks the social worker who handled some complicated situations so well during the stay. This is a highly recommended hospital when someone is in need.

Good app in general. This is a fairly easy to use app. My biggest issue is that the app needs to allow multiple deletions or “read” acknowledgement of messages. I have a ton of old unread messages that I want to mark as read so I don’t get the “red” notifications indications. This applies to old appointments and test results. Right now I have to scroll down and select each message to read individually even if it is old.

Stupid update. This USED to be a great app. I USED to be able to see my daughter’s information, summaries of visits, sent messages, billing summaries. Now it’s all gone. USED to be able to see the whole dashboard for each person. Now you have to select test results, messages etc and THEN switch to the linked account. This is the WORST update yet. Thanks for taking a great app and “improving” it to the point of practically useless.

MyChart. This WAS a great working information and putting information onto my calendar but now much difficulty in doing so. Very difficult to read results by Doctors visits and other things. Sometimes difficult to leave messages for particular doctors. A lot of other things difficult to do like doing an E-Check-In before you arrive so you don’t have to do the write up when you arrive. Plus lots of other things have changed. In reading the results from things like a report from the Emergency Room Doctor and his or her report plus whoever else was present when a patient was there. Many more changes etc.

Has flaws. When I first downloaded this app it worked great. I could easily switch between my info and my children’s. Since then they have done an update and I can no longer switch. In fact it says my name but has all of my sons info and I can only communicate with his doctor. It shows MyChart is linked but it’s no where to be found. I had to log on through the actual website to get to that aspect. I also don’t like that the MyChart app pushes me off to this app as I have other doctors that aren’t BSW that I’d like it all to be linked into one app. MyChart won’t let me even login to it at all.

Not as User-Friendly as I Thought. I have used this app for probably 2 years w/Southlake Family medicine and it has given me no issues until now. It let me schedule with a doctor who wasn’t even in the office so my appointment got cancelled but I was never notified until I showed up. I scheduled again with a different doctor but that appointment, again, was cancelled without me knowing bc I was a new patient to that doctor. I’m not sure if this is the app’s fault or my doctors office but it was pretty infuriating. From now on I will use it for everything other than scheduling appointments.

Baylor Scott & White. Outstanding, professional, caring , empathetic, kind, soft spoken Dr Cohen Dr Martha Lubars Consultation done Diagnosis test are all in your portal after downloading the app. Questions can be ask non prescriptions question Amazing technology for someone that grew up with a typewriter and never visited one Dr as a baby toddler child teenager adult. It was not until I married started family did I go amazing !! If you are in need of good quality Dr care call to schedule an appointment. My doctors Rock

Good app could use improvement. I like the app it makes having your healthcare at your fingertips easier to manage. I do however feel that the ability to change between linked accounts could be more efficient like it was when it was Mychart, before the change. I am not able to easily look at my children’s information and maneuver through their accounts without having a lot of back and forth. I’m also unable to find some things on their accounts as easily as before if at all without going on to the website.

App not as user friendly and convenient. I have myself and my children’s profiles and I’m not able to see theirs. I can only make appointments and send messages for both my kids but I’m not able to see whether they are updated with their vaccinations like mychart. It’s frustrating and not as user friendly like my chart was! This app Also doesn’t tell me if myself or my kids will be due for a vaccination! I liked that feature!

CDM and lab results never gotten like promised. When your told lab would be on my chart and it does not show up and it’s very important, there should be someone after 5 pm we can speak to ! I was told if the results are bad to go to er ? How am I to do that when I never received the test results like I was told they would be on my chart ? Not happy , this is on my heart and kidneys !

Frustrating. I have an iPhone- I was told by the tech dept that this app and iPhones don’t ‘get along’- from day to day I never know if I will be able to sign on. I miss important, time sensitive messages on a regular basis. I cannot schedule appointments, in fact, I cannot use the app at all most days. Frustrating is an understatement! I’m sure there’s a few iPhone users besides myself!! It seems that it would behoove BSW to get this situation resolved.

Review. I’m thrilled with being able to be in touch with my providers without having to leave a message and wait for hours to get a call back then still not being able to express what is really happening due to my provider being in a hurry. This works great for me. Thank you so much for this portal. Sharon Walker

Need Help!. I have an appointment in 3 days and have a message from my doctors office on the app that I can’t access because my app is frozen. Message popped up saying that I need to re-login because of an update but I can’t make the message go away so I can login and use the app. Tried to contact Baylor app developer through App Store but developer came back with a message saying that functionality was down.

Responsiveness and professionalism. I am always impressed with the providers prompt and caring responses. When I have any issue or concern, I am able to contact them with full assurance I will receive the assistance I need. Their informative and precise response typically assuage my concern. No better medicine than their obvious care. I always can count on the professionalism of any staff I encounter, from desk clerks, phone schedulers, to actual nurses and doctors. A big thank you to all!

Used to be useful. Ever since the option to add appointments to the calendar was removed, this app is nearly useless. Sure, you sort of brought the feature back, but, only my next appointment, and only that there’s an appointment. I can’t add ANY details like I used to, and I can’t add any future appointments, nor can I add any from the appointments section. I can literally only add my next appointment to the calendar. This seems like a small issue to some, but, for those who rely on this feature due to memory/executive function issues, this is a huge issue, and an accessibility concern.

Can’t use the app. I have this problem regularly where I get the message that some features of the app can’t be used. I tried every thing in the book. Restart my device delete the app and reinstall it and still get the same message. I have 2 children the get regular labs done and I can’t even see them because the app is not working. I would like that app that holds my family’s medical records and results to work so I know what is happening and what I should do next. I can’t see any appointment, messages, labs, or after care summaries. Do better is all I have to say.

Caring Matters. Gave the App 4 stars as nobody gets 5-Always room for improvement. Otherwise, somebody gets “haughty”. I enjoy access to my care team and their timely response. Also like the ability to see test results etc in timely manner. Very consistent patterns of care and caring throughout the care “team”. In my view THE very most important quality to service quality is great communications and trust. “Press-On”.

Emergency room. I am so grateful for Dr. Issac! Being listened to by a highly skilled, well educated, kind Doctor rates highly in my book! Due to an episode that led to the ER and then discovery of 99% blockage in my heart, brought us Dr Issac!! Not one week has gone by since August 23 that I have been thankful and praising his actions and mentioned his name to friends and family! Yes, he is busy, yes he is still ready to sit and explain what he is seeing and working on in my case! He is a real God-send for me! Thank you from the bottom of a grateful heart!

Hospital stay experience 🤩. Went in and didn’t expect to stay for three days. I totally was beside myself after I was given 5 star treatment here. From the triage to the room I was taken to when I was omitted it they were always attentive and so polite. Brenda my nurse on the 16th floor was such a great soul. You’re service was like no other and Alex your assistant was amazing as well. Thank you, Baylor!

Frustrated. This app is such a frustration since it only works about 1/3 of the times I try to open to see an appointment, a message or to reorder my prescriptions. Usually the messages and prescriptions part won’t show. It’s very very time consuming since it takes forever to finally open up or have to wait until another time to see a message that was sent to me by my doctor because that part of the app doesn’t work at that time or sometimes not at all that day. I’m stressed now just thinking about it all why writing this review. PLEASE PLEASE, in the love of God, fix this app!!!!!!

Lab Results update is TERRIBLE. The lab results in the previous version were much better at conveying results and ranges. It used to have a simple colored bar and your results would be shown on the bar. Super intuitive and easy to quickly understand. Now all my test results, specifically labs, are just text. Why would you downgrade the user interface so drastically for important data that was already easy to see and understand. Please bring back the previous UI for displaying lab results, this version was a bad idea.

Care Companion needs work. I have opted out of the Covid-19 questionnaire every time I have been prompted with a Care Companion check-in. I keep getting them. The unenrollment does not work. 10/10 great app - I can access my appointments, message my providers, and see lab results. Very convenient. Would have rated 5 stars but did not see anywhere else to report a problem online for the application.

App not working when it was recently updated. I was very happy using this app as it was a quick way to book appointments for myself and my kids and also make payments and Check lab reports. It also helped me to communicate well with my doctor. Until recently, when I was prompted to update this App, and after updating it, the App keeps crashing and doesn’t work at all. Kindly fix this problem. Thank you.

Very poorly designed app. It’s difficult to find an excuse for how poorly this application is designed, when there are so many great applications available everywhere in todays environment, that engineers can view and learn about good layout, interactivity, workflow and information access for good mobile applications. The only reason I have to use it is because I am a captive audience for BSW and have no choice. Otherwise, I would delete it in an instant. Sadly the web portal is not much better. The organization of the portal is so illogical and so counter intuitive, that it’s a often a cyclical trial and error of button clicking hunting for the information I need.

Add to calendar. Can no longer add details to calendar. When it gives you the option to add your appointment to your calendar it used to ask if you want all the details or something like that. Now it doesn’t ask and when you do select add to calendar it just gives time and date and says Baylor Scott and White appointment instead of naming the actual appointment and doctor as the title of the appointment in the calendar as well as all the details like address number and so on. Please fix!! Thank you

WHY CAN’T WE PRINT?. I like your app - it’s easy to use. I especially like the ability to schedule and change appointments without going through the office. It saves time since I can see what’s available and choose the best for me. I also like having my lab results at hand so I can refer to them when discussing with my doctors. However, it puzzles me as to why I can’t copy my reports. If you can add this feature to the next upgrade, I think most of us would appreciate it. Thank you.
