Great, but glitchy. The follow up works great and the book aids are good, but the pentagram won’t show, all I can see is the notes and lyrics on a blank space.

Fun app. My child goes to the there piano lessons

Awesome tutor. This truly is a great help for an beginner adult (senior) piano player. I’m using the physical book to learn. But, to know you’re playing it correctly it helps to actually hear what it is supposed to sound like. I’ve shared this app with 2 other beginners and they find it quite helpful too. My only suggestion would be to add an option to display the suggested finger position. The option would allow the user to turn display or hide the suggested finger position. That way I could take the music with me without the book. That said, there is no substitute for the book. But, this is a “must have” partner to it. I still give it a full 5 stars.

New update crashes. In the new update, the crashes happen once a minute. Please fix. The app without the update was great.

Spectacular! Faber app Bluetooth MIDI in/out connection to Roland fp-30x. Easy set up worked the very first time and super stable Bluetooth connection to our children’s fp-30x. Both their teachers use Faber The best for us is: - app provides access to all the Faber books, price for each collection volume set are very reasonable - Audio of the piece 100% correctly played by the app outputs straight to the fp-30x speakers: same instrument, tone and pitch children practice with, which helps a ton - the apps listening/analysis/evaluation note by note is sooo effective, the kids got used to the visualizations in a very short time Note: the interface is simplified and really easy to use, if not intuitive enough just go back to the short guide / cheat sheet of the app - interface very intuitive Bottom line: this apps is 100% perfect for us because our kids are taught exclusively with Faber piano adventures, it has everything they need to practice autonomously, self check and confidently improve their performance...plus no more discussions with mom and dad...the apps playback is always correct! Thanks very much Faber!!

No dynamics. I bought this so that I could have digital access to the songs in one place but there are no dynamics or expression markings!

Helpful mostly. If you are taking piano lessons and working in Fabers books, then I recommend getting this app. You’ll be able to see and hear the piece you’re working played. It’s missing dynamics, accent marks and other musical notations that are in the books. Even with that, I highly recommend this app because for just a few dollars you can here the songs played - huge! You mute or unmute the accompaniment or the left or right hand playing. I have yet to watch the videos, but plan too. - now get back to practice!

Missing Lessons. I need the accompaniment music for the My First Piano Adventures books. It would be nice if this included that. You would think the younger kids would benefit the most from this. And to be honest, it's hard to find a CD player anymore...

Fabulous Resource!. I am grateful for this app! It’s a wonderful companion to my instructional book. If I can’t make out part of a tune it’s super helpful. And it’s free!!! No complaints.

Perfect Companion For Learning Piano. What a fantastic tool this app is. My daughter and I are learning piano and this app has several valuable tools built into it that will help you with your lessons and practice. It’s very easy to use and is full of useful features such as music scores with backing tracks, tempo adjustments, mute left or right hands, looper, metronome, and more. Very well priced as well.

Sound no longer working. Attempted to contact app support a outbound issue but it sends you right back to the Home Screen with no ability to report problem.

Fun app to play along with the physical books. I enjoy so much of this app..have been using it for my students to play along with. The arrangements are wonderful and stylistic. I love the facts that you can enlarge the music sheet page, adjust the tempi, turn on/off the metronome… One thing I believe it can be improved is that the app can allow users to use iPad/iPhone own mic to record the piano sound without having to connect to a midi device.

Beautifully designed but the music should be free.. This app is beautifully designed, with options for tempo, metronome, and piano backup or a variety of instruments. The only problem is that most of the songs cost money. Every book is 4.99, so if I bought every book it would be over 40 dollars! I’m not paying that money just so I can play along with music. It would be better if more songs were free, or if there were no purchases and everything was free. You are supposed to be helping people to learn to play piano, not forcing them to buy stuff. Also, for people who said they just wanted to hear the piano... To do so, look at the small buttons on the right. Next to the metronome button, there is a button with a + and a music note. Click it. Hope this helped.

This should be free.. Downloaded this thinking it would give me the exercise/song examples for my daughter’s piano book. I guess it does...for a price. Every single other book I have ever used to study music includes these files either for download or on a cd. We shouldn’t be faced with in app purchases after purchasing the book. They’re just extorting more money out of us. No thank you.

Glitchy software. The adult books have videos in this app but most of them will not play. As a piano teacher I wouldn’t want to use this with my students as adults are likely to become frustrated with the tech issues.

Beautifully designed. I love the user interface on this app. Unlike other apps, you can disable the keyboard from showing while performing the musical pieces. It can also detect your piano input via iPad microphone or through midi. I like the fact that I can use my Akai LPK25 in conjunction with the midimittr app. My only qualm is that you cannot upload new scores, and the sheet music is limited. Otherwise, nice app.

Somewhat Helpful, still need book to practice. This app would be much better if the sheet music in the app contained the dynamics markings (f, mf, p) found in the book. You can't properly practice a piece just using the iPad if the dynamics aren't included. This is a big detriment.

Videos are back!!!. I’m so happy the videos for adults book are back!!! Thank you so muchhh!!!

There are glitches. I love it but there are glitches that don’t let me see the notes and it’s important because I use this app for my piano class! Fix this bug plz

Love the App, but.... I’m a piano teacher and I absolute love this app, I’ve used it for over a year now (was using the hard copy books prior to this). The metronome and the follow along player are useful, though the sound quality is a bit low grade but no big deal. My only criticism is that the app does not include the Theory books, and the actual music does not have ANY dynamic markings, nor does it include the appropriate finger numbering for students to follow along with, all things that are very much within the hard copy, paper books. It would be a great benefit to both me, the teacher, and my students if these features were included in your app. Would very much love and welcome an update to include these items!

It’s good but bad. The app is very helpful but it usually kick me out of the app which is very annoying and frustrating.

Please fix the bug!! :-). Hi! Bug of the tracks transposed by a half step- could we fix that please? Thank you!

No interest in further development?. It’s been years (before COVID) and still no level 4 or 5 lesson and etc. it feels like they don’t care about it. It’s losing value as a teaching aid for me.

Great App. Great for my kids to hear the music they should be playing

New Update crashes. This app is good for my students, but the recent update crashes too much & the fonts is very hard to read in Dark Mode. Please fix these issues quick. My students love to play with The Band! Thank you.

Links to videos not working. All the links to the videos are broken recently

Great Idea - Difficult To Follow Along. I’m a piano and voice teacher, and I already use the Faber method books! I’ve looked into having my students use this app to use as a fun tool at home - especially since I can’t even play with them during our lessons online! The main downside I see, is that the moving line looks off when I tested out playing along to some of the songs with the backing tracks. I’ve looked into other supplemental piano software where the the moving line aligns accurately. I really appreciate that Faber is working on a program like this, but would love to see this element fixed - because even I think it’s confusing as the teacher!

Missing lines of staff. I do not see the grand staff, only the notes. That is not how the app is pictured. Is there a way to fix this? I tried resizing but no joy. I am running iOS 12. Otherwise, this looks good.

No finger numbers. The lack of the finger numbers and the inability to write them in is a major problem. The numbers are in their lesson book but not here. Why? So close.

Kind of disappointed. Not very easy to use , app crash easily, and some songs doesn’t work. It’s very pricy but not very helpful I still prefer buy the CD with books😔

Essential accompaniment for the solo learner.. The Faber Piano Adventure Player has been essential to my learning with the Adult Piano series. There are video introductions to sections and sheet music compositions that help with rhythm and queuing. It can connect to a digital Piano via USB or MIDI Bluetooth. I use it with my iPad and Roland HP603a via Bluetooth Audio/MIDI. The 3 things I would like to see in future versions: - Mark errors and score your attempt. I’d like to know where I need to improve or if I did it perfectly. Make it a game of sorts (earn stars?) - Support pedal(s) to start/stop/rewind. As of now I have to press play on the tablet and then rush my hands back to position. Left pedal (soft) one tap - rewind! Hold down - return to start. Middle pedal (sostenuto) start/stop. See Piascore it can be mapped!

Glitches or money grabbing?. I loved PA PLAYER and I thought $5 was a great deal for the interactive recordings. My only complaint was that the dynamics were always missing and students couldn’t learn fully. But either there is a glitch or they are trying to take more money from us because I already paid for all levels and the restore purchase button is not working. I was in the middle of a lesson and I couldnt access anything. BAD FOR BUSINESS. I tried to repurchase and only one book came up :( Super sad I hope this gets fixed because I was a regular user…

Good but asked to pay again for same book. I have paid $4.99 for level 1 and have been using to practice for a big while and now it asked me to pay again $4.99. I dont mind paying 4.99 for every book but to have to keep paying I think that is too much. And if it is a mistake who can help me to fix it.

I need the subtitles. I bought the adult lesson book and want to learn from the teaching video, but when I played,I found there are no subtitles on it,I really hope subtitles would be added!

Missing books. I wanted to listen to audio recordings of the songs I’m learning, but it’s completely missing the entire level 4 lesson books. I feel like I wasted my money. Overall, good app if you need the existing recordings.

Very Helpful But Not Perfect. It is helpful to hear the songs, especially for figuring out temp and counting. It is also nice to see the music in the app follow the music. I don’t think the $4.99 for each book’s music is a big deal but I would like a little more for that money, per my below comments. Big negative for me is that there is no audible count in to the music. There are a couple beats that are visually counted down — not audibly — and then the music takes off. You have to be psychic to know when to start with the music. Not to mention that you barely have time to get your hands to the right keys. That’s a major flaw. It should not be difficult to insert two measures of metronome at tempo before each piece. Then you could play along. Minor gripe is the sound of the piano. It sounds like a cheap synthesizer. It would be great if the piano sounded more like a piano. Maybe Yamaha or Kawai would let the publisher use a sample in exchange for some advertising space. It would really be nice to have a better piano sound.

Love the app...but.... I have been using the app for awhile now, and am halfway through the accompanying book. Until this past week, it was working fine. Now I have lost the videos, which is one of the most valuable parts of this app! Now, when I click on the videos, it brings up the table of contents for the videos, but when I click on a selection, it comes on turns to black like it’s going to start, then immediately turns back to the contents! It won’t play the video!!! I really used this part of the app, and really want it back! I have deleted it and re-downloaded it several times, but it doesn’t help! Is there anything else I can do to fix it???

Updated Review. Works pretty well. Customer Support is excellent!

Unstable. Some songs freeze up; variable loudness. Not able to set the levels between the piano and the accompaniments. Piano setting change from going from on song to another. Get ready from some frustration.

Timing is off. I have loved using the midi files on my piano with the Faber books and was hopeful that this would be a good at-home app for my students. Unfortunately, more often than not, the cursor does not follow the music and is often ahead of what the student should play. It needs some work before I can ask my students to purchase the app.

It don’t fit the iPhone X screen. Could you make to where the app fits the screen of iPhone X and up?

App keep freezing. I love this app but recent updates make level 1 almost unusable. Keep freezing on me. I have to force exit app and restart after every play

Stellar for Teachers. This has made lessons more engaging through midi with the songs. I really hope they keep this app running, because even though it’s dated, it works incredibly well. It crashes on me a couple times a day , but it’s easily overlooked for just the simplicity and tools it brings to teaching

Crash. Crash all the time when try to connect Bluetooth device

Missing Books. I have used piano adventures for years. I love the series, but this is missing a lot of the supplemental books like the Disney and Hits. It’s random to you will see those books for some level, but not others. Those are my students favorites and as a traveling piano instructor and one who is now teaching online it would be helpful to have all of them and so the kids can download them as they move up. I also hate how I have to buy this in addition to the books. It should come for free if you buy a physical book or pay an extra dollar or two for the app addition like you do for college books. I also wish there was an interactive lesson for My First Piano. My students would respond so much better to that than a cd! I don’t have a disk drive on my Mac, let alone a CD player anymore. This needs to be upgraded or something better is going to come along...

Fun and effective for adults & children. I love this app for all of my students, but especially my adult beginners. My adult students like the fact that they can hear and play along with the songs at different tempos, with tracks that actually sound nice and not cheesy. The videos included with the Adult levels in the app are incredibly powerful, as well, especially for self-learners. This is high-level teaching and high-level technology solving so many needs that a student has during the week. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Need an option to hear just the piano play. I just bought this level 1 and it needs an option to hear just the piano play. It’s too distracting and noisy for a new, young player with the other sounds of other instruments

Great practice tool. Love the app! I agree with previous reviews to add in some kind of countdown at the beginning of the piece, it could be like a two measure tick. This would help the students to feel the pulse and to know when to enter.

Fantastic. I stumbled across this app while on the Faber website. They need to advertise this more! The importance of "playing along" is usually underestimated. Especially during COVID where so many teachers are using remote, you can't play along with your teacher--the timing doesn't work. This helps the student to learn to keep playing through mistakes. Also, the ability to loop over trouble spots is pretty cool. Then, if you have a MIDI keyboard, the ability to record and listen to yourself. You will hear mistakes that you didn't notice while playing--most teachers suggest recording yourself for that reason. Also, it shows you notes that you missed! Very intuitive, well laid out software. Some folks gave bad reviews because they thought it was too expensive or missing certain songs. I don't think they understand how much work goes into putting this together. I am also a software developer--I write software that tests other people's software. I can tell you this is a lot of work. Faber even says on their website, they are still working on adding material. For less than $5 per level, It is a great deal. When you think about how much lessons cost...SERIOUSLY?! Anyway, great job, Faber! Keep up the good work!

Sad. Great & helpful app. But one big thing was that before the app and books we’re totally free, I understand maybe they wanted to profit more but it is just really said to see that it’s not free anymore.

Keep asking me to purchase but I’ve already purchased!!. I don’t understand why I need to pay it again as I purchased it, and now it ask me to purchase it again and I couldn’t restore the old one that I’ve purchased!

Great app but costs add up. This is a great app. I use it nearly every day with my own child and the little kids I teach. The sound quality is great - especially when adjusting the tempo. The little kids light up when they hear kids singing in the My First Piano Adventures books. The only disappointing thing about it is that in app purchases can't be shared with family members. This makes the app quite expensive for a household.

Great. Great app great for learning the poan

I purchased a second book then the first stopped working. I purchased level 1 last year and about 2 weeks ago I purchased level 2A and all of a sudden only level 2A works and level 1 is asking me to purchase again. Why do I need to purchase again if I have already purchased it last year?

A good concept but.... My 7year old loves using the app for his daily self revision between weekly piano lessons. He likes changing the tempo of the songs and turning on and off the backing track. The app doesn’t use the lyrics which is a shame. It’s also expensive when you take into account also buying the hard copy books. For some reason today the app doesn’t recognise my purchases and won’t restore them so it’s a unusable :(

Love it. Absolutely love it. Hopefully there will be more accompaniments before I get to level 5. Would also like to see something for the adult book2 supplementary material! Love it!

TRYING TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. Received an email advising of a renewal for this subscription $139.99, which was never used by my daughter however unable to login or find an area where I can unsubscribe. Links lead nowhere and no support links. 😡

Bad. I bought the books and kids want to listen how to play the songs but still have to pay for the app! Not recommended for parents to buy the books

The worst l can’t keep along. Dylan

No books included. There are not readable books included in this app as stated. They use line less method for reading notes which makes no sense if you don’t learn how to do the program.

Family Sharing doesn’t work. We downloaded this app on our daughter’s iPad. She loves it and it helps her when she is practising. We have family sharing set up and regularly share apps. I cannot get the full version on my phone without paying for it – it is very disappointing because sometimes we do not have her iPad with us. I am not paying twice for the same thing.

Unstable New Version. The new version keeps crashing. Will this be fixed soon? It seems to happen more in landscape mode. It’s very annoying. My daughter loved to use the app to practice her songs, but now it is basically unusable.

Videos do not play. The videos for the Adult books don’t play at all. Not worth the bother of downloading the app to go with the book.

Purchased but can’t access Level 1. I’ve purchased the Level 1 theory and lesson series and can’t access the material. When I click on it, it asks me to purchase again. Unfortunate for my son who’s playing and needs the app for support! Please fix this!

Level 4 lesson book music is missing. Please fix it!

Notes mistakes. Quite a few mistakes, especially staccato notes, for example, lesson book level 1 page 42 super secret agent.

No problem. It’s ok, good

This update should have not been needed. The update to change the looks of the app is sooo bad please change it back. Now just small and confusing. Though overall it’s a great app

Gold star performance 2A. When the gold star performance 2A is going to be on the app?🤔

Sucks. It wants me to to purchase $6.99 or something,l hate it sooo much 🤬!

Wish there was a basic version. I find the price to be steep for families who have already purchased the Faber and Faber books. I have students in other programs where purchase of the book includes a code to listen to recordings, no need for further purchases. I wish Faber would do this. It would be more beneficial to have a basic app with only piano recordings of the songs for reference during home practice sessions, rather than charging again and including all kinds of features my students would never use. They find all the extra instrumentation detrimental rather than helpful so all in all I can’t recommend this as a useful tool for my students.

Expensive and no account to save your purchases. I agree with the other reviews. Not only you need to pay for most of the songs despite having bought the books but also you can’t use the same account on different devices which is ridiculous! So if you lose your phone and need to download the app again you have to pay for everything again!

Worst app ever. It doesn’t let you play any songs

Not free!. This app is NOT free as it is advertised in the piano adventure book! Super disappointed since I bought the book this app should be included!!!

Terrific App. I’m an early beginner on piano, but have played guitar for years. This is a very nice app, more feature rich, stable, and usable than I expected it to be. Often, these types of apps are a quick and dirty thing that doesn’t work well, and then the company never updates it, or adds content. This app works quite well, and seems to get updated semi-regularly. Kudos to the Faber folks. I suggest using a cable to connect your iPad to your keyboard. Bluetooth introduces a delay that is noticable to most folks. A cable connection doesn’t have a noticable delay. This isn’t an app issue, it is a “feature” of bluetooth. They provide 3 songs with the free app so you can try it out to see if it works for you. The content that follows the course and song books are purchased individually, for around $5. Very reasonably priced. I just wish that all their books were available. [ To those that complained that all this should be free: I have to ask, “Do you work for free?” Yep, didn’t think so…. ] The app respects your privacy by not gathering information about you. Only diagnostics not linked to your identity are collected. I appreciate the respect, and never use apps that invade my privacy. It’s not a subscription! THANKS! I never do the subscriptions. This app isn’t perfect. Here are a few things I’d like to see improved. Occasional crashes when I press the Play button. It should always play the count-in “ticks”, even if the metronome is turned off. Otherwise, you’re just guessing when to start playing. The little dots don’t help me at all. Count-in needs to be separate from the loop markers. I often want to loop the whole “song/exercise” to practice it, and don’t want it to loop the count-in each and every time through. The current unit and file/exercise should be highlighted when you go back to the menu to choose an exercise. When you play back a recording, it should remember your last settings for playing back a recording. There are too many keypresses required to listen back, and look for mistakes, then playing again. Midi artifacts on some of my recordings. There are often some notes, and drones that I didn’t play that show up when I play back recordings. My keyboard is a Medeli AKX10. The tempo and [Normal, Follow, Wait] buttons are too small for me to read on my 12.9 inch Ipad Pro. Improve how the app shows you how you did with rhythm as well as note selection. For instance, the app shows no errors as long as I play the correct notes, even if played stacatto when it should be legato. Needs dynamics and fingering added to the sheet music display.

Need an update. Need an update to for latest iPhone and iPad.

Usability low. I wish the books come with CDs which I can load to smart phone and play the whole album with ease. This app not only costs money but is not easy to use - only play 1 song at a time, then have to go to menu, select the next song, hit play, etc. I was hoping to download all the songs but didn't think it's doable. The app offers other features but are not critical for us. Just focus on the very basics - let us play the songs as easy as possible.

In app purchase system doesn’t work for schools. I love this app. For my private students who have iPads, this app has completely replaced any need for a book and really enhances their performance. By requiring books to be purchased through in app purchases though, schools with a 1:1 iPad system can’t get “class sets.” If you could buy a full version upfront, then schools can purchase the copy of the app instead of creating a situation where parents are putting their credit card info into a school moderated/owned iPad. If there were a way to make class sets happen my school would purchase the first 3 levels 60 times a year. This app isn’t intended to replace the actual books for students who are teaching themselves. The books have explanations for all major concepts. The app only has the music with playback. If you’re teaching yourself, go buy the book on Amazon and then maybe use the app as supplement. For teachers who know what’s presented in the book though I’d HIGHLY recommend making the switch to the app.

Only one star bc.... It only has THREE songs

Revolutionary Approach to Piano Pedagogy. This app has been so amazing in my piano lessons. I have 25 students and this app is so motivating in my elementary students lessons. It's not just CD tracks; you can customize the tempo, accompaniment vs piano volume, and they can watch the music on the screen. I sincerely am indebted to the Fabers for this amazing app. I know this review seems a bit inflated but I use this app so much it's really merited! I really hope they come out with new tracks for 3B and adult level 2 especially.

Very good. This is a very good app and it is very helpful for my daughter. I wish there was a scoring at the end to show how well she played, similarly like the Musiah app.

Wonderful. This is a wonderful app for Piano Adventure students. It is beautifully designed and easy to use!

Works fine for me! Definitely a motivator!. Some have complained that the app doesn't play loud enough. The truth is, the iPad itself does not play loud enough. That is why God gave us Bluetooth speakers. I really enjoy using this app in lessons and the students seem to enjoy using it. It is definitely a motivator. Some have complained that there are no finger numbers in the score – but I believe it is there to show where we are in the music. The student should be playing out of the book. If the Fabers had included the fingering and expression marks in the app, there would be no need to buy a book.

New v1.1 has issues. Crashes frequently, Menu is highlighted in black and unreadable

Great App for practicing. This is working great for practicing, addressing timing issues, and clarifying any doubts in between lessons. I'm looking forward to the next levels since my older child using level 3 books can't use this and he would greatly benefit from this app.

Paid content has mistake. Check the fifth symphony piece. The metronome is out of sync with the music.

It is easy to use. It is cheaper. I always want to have a book like this. I can connect my digital piano and start to play. It's ok cheaper than a CD.

Awesome!!. Really love the app!

it lacks sync with books.so how can students follow?. The app and books show difference in music notes. How come students follow. They need expertise here.if they get expertise.....no need to use this app. I wasted money.

Big disappointment! 😕. This is a big disappoint! Try Piano Maestro by Joy Tunes. You won't need any cable connections. You just need to enable your microphone on your iPad and you can play on your acoustic piano. It is so cool with lots of song choices. ☺️

After you buy the books they want to charge you for the songs that go with it.. Title says it all.

Meh. This feels like a cheap knock off of Piano Maestro. MIDI input only is a real letdown compared to being able to play from the piano no wires needed. And it's missing the "hold on" feature of piano maestro because of this, which means it isn't an effective learning tool. Plus every one of my parents will have to pay for the IAP on their own, I can't just link them to my account like you can with PM. I'm honestly considering switching my primary method usage just because I want to be able to incorporate more technology in lessons and I don't think this app will cut it.

Free but not really. I own the Adult Piano Adventures book which is okay but was looking for music examples to go along with it. After noticing in the front of the book it mentions about this Free companion app. I thought perfect so I downloaded it and sure enough it is free to download. To my surprise though when I click in the app to select the book I’ve already purchased it asks me to purchase the songs. Why? Why not just include the prices of the songs in with the book and offer an access code like every other book I have. I wouldn’t recommend the Piano Adventures books or App after seeing this. There’s just too many other options out there that includes the online songs with the book.

HI!I love this app. It's so cool I have a book like this from piano class

Good app. Love this app

Wonderful!. I teach and am going to suggest all students in these books get this app. Hoping that all the other books in this series will be added.

Great, but needs more volume!. Love this new app, but an acoustic grand drowns it out - needs more volume!

Less Impressive. I was REALLY excited (as a piano teacher) to not deal with all of the cd's. I was frustrated when as soon as it I ally downloaded I had access to only 3 songs PER SKILL LEVEL. It would be more beneficial to me to pay a one time higher fee & have access to ALL of the songs than to pay $4.99 per Skill level/book. I can't recommend this to my students as the price is so exorbitant.

Why. I bought the book irl and now I just to play along

Thank you!!!. Thank you for this piano adventures! What a great tool! I will use it tons and so appreciate the iPhone version my patents can play with my students!!! I so wish there were at least finger numbers in the score of the app. Thanks, again for this! Please consider adding your music to the piano maestro app??? I haven't tried the midi feature because I have an acoustic. Some students of mine have keyboards, but I'm not sure they will buy the extra adapters necessary.

please include songs from previous wsitions of same book. Hi so never mind the 10,000 things that it does pretty well, one of the things that's really hanging me up as a student is that my teacher has the second edition of the accelerated piano adventures for older beginners and apparently I have the first edition and they are differences between the two books. At this moment I'm getting hung up because the first edition has "home on the range" on page 40 and the second edition has "oh Susanna". Now in the app there is only access to "oh Susanna" so I'm kind of stuck because I don't have a way to utilize the app to learn this lesson. We also ran into this as the first edition has "sailors tall tale" but in the second addition apparently it is the same music but it's been renamed "gypsy band" so we could still utilize the app for that one. Home on the Range is also not available on the website as midi or anywhere else that I can find. Aside from various versions on YouTube (most of which are vastly above my ability) . In closure please include all versions of songs that were ever included on any esition of the lesson and performance books

Open. That is what I can’t get it to do.

Pay???. You have to PAY for the music? Stupid

Way to sightread!. I only start students off with Faber Piano Adventures books up to about level 2A before switching to easy classics, but I use this app as required sight reading material for many students!! There are only two things not great about it. 1. repeats don't scroll ahead so you are never visually prepared for a repeat: I remedy this by warning students they have to scout out if the piece has a repeat ahead of time and memorize the beginning, and, 2. There are no fingerings, dynamics or articulation marks in the app. However, if students really want those, I suggest they get the books, however for our purposes, we don't bother and get our performance ideas from the titles and the context. But those certainly don't outweigh the fifty thousand good things about this app. If the accompaniment feels a little too busy it is easy to turn the volume down. The metronome sound is better than most. The demand for staying on the beat is just what my students need. So happy to have found this!!

Excellent. Not only is the Adult Book 1 excellent, but with this app you can now also hear how a selection goes but see the actual notes as they are played. This app opens up so many possibilities. I was only too happy to pay the $5 for all the songs!

Lacking. This app is almost helpful. Music in the app does not include musical notations... these notations are crucial to learning the piece correctly.
