Qotd. Question of the day not loading

Poor Content. Several others have also made the comment that the content of the questions are very basic and easier than most other study guides out there. I have answered 20 questions so far, all of which are basic anatomy/physiology with no clinical application at all. This type of information is not pertinent. “What heart valve prevents blood from flowing back into the right ventricle?” Is not a question you would see on the NPTE exam.

Great! Except fix the QOTD section. Love the app although the QOTD section is totally glitched and adds a doubled blank answered question on each day either wrong or right and it messes up your percentages. If you click on it the app just glitches and shuts off.

Not as good as ScoreBuilders app. Would be a better app if there was not a cap on the question of the day

Glitches!!!!. I am using this app to prepare. I like that you are able to separate by systems and control how many questions you want to answer. HOWEVER, this is where the biggest problem is. So many times I am given different numbers on how many questions are available max for a section. I close the app then all of a sudden I get 20 more or so. I keep my app updated and once I sent a msg to the company in charge of the app and was told to uninstall and re-install the app... didn’t fix my issue! It makes it hard for me to see how much I really know when I can’t get all the questions the first time, since once you’ve seen the answer once that will change the results. I love this app, but for the glitches to exist for this long after paying so much for it makes me question how worth it the purchase was. Please fix it! Update for 2019: Now I am close to my NPTE test date and it’s stressful that this app continues to have glitches. I am so glad that the repeats for questions have been lessened though. +1 more star for that

Repeats questions. This app advertises unique questions however I am constantly getting repeat questions. Many questions are very basic and not at all level of NPTE. Would not recommend purchasing.

Horrible. Majority of the questions are horrible. You will likely fail the NPTE if you use this app as a study tool. Information is incorrect in numerous questions, facilitating possible failure during the exam. Wish I could rate it a zero.

Too many glitches. Keeps lagging and takes forever to load.. Bought this app to help me with my exam preparation. Content is great but the app runs very slow and keeps on crashing. Scoring is not even accurate with my right and wrong answers. Percentage score based on my correct answer is not right. How can i get a 60% rate when in fact i got 20 questions right in a 24 item daily quiz? Not to mention it takes forever to load once u open it. If i knew this app lags so much then i wouldn’t buy for the in-app purchase. Its not worth the money. There are lots of paid practice exam prep here in app store that is worth every penny than this.

Don’t purchase this app!. BEWARE! This app is false advertising! It advertises “unlimited questions of the day” however this question is simply subtracted from the “600” questions you pay 40$ for. Which leads to my next point, the fact that the “600” questions is not actually 600 questions. I constantly see the same repetitive questions on every custom exam I take. This is unacceptable!

Great review!!. I am a second year in PT school and I really appreciate this app for helping me begin my review process of last year's concepts while also learning new things that we haven't touched in school yet.

Not worth the money. The questions are far too easy and typically give you the answer within the question (or it gives you more information than it should). Most of them are basic questions you should have known before starting PT school. I would not recommend spending your money on this.

Great study app. This is all I studied !!! It helps to refresh your memory form lectures. I loved explanations that also helped answer other questions !!! I recommend this app for anyone that is on the go and need to study for the NPTE-PT exam paper. Thank you so much !!!

Five stars!!!!!. Yes the questions are easier than a typical, NPTE test prep but; it was invaluable when I was preparing for the exam. You need something to take your mind off the craziness of the exam while still studying and this is it. At the very least this App shows how solid your basic knowledge of some PT principles are. I used it and I passed!!!! Hope this helps you decide.

Pocket prep. A good convenient study tool for when you are "on the go". However, questions tend to be easier than those in other study books.

great app. All the features on this app are fantastic, and I completely agree that it is fair to charge users if they want to utilize all the features. With that being said, I downloaded this app with the intent of using only the QOTD feature - without knowing it could only be used for 14 days in the free version. I wish there was a cheaper option to buy solely unlimited QOTD access, because I don’t want to spend $35 on a package when I will only utilize 1 of the features included.

QOTD doesn’t work. the question of the day feature has stopped working. It shows that it is loading but it never does.

Convenient app but glitches need to be fixed. This is a helpful app for studying especially if you're not near your study materials and you want to review a little more. However while the questions were helpful the glitches in the app almost didn't make it worth spending the extra money for the upgrade. There were times when the question of day would somehow count as a question from the exam section and you're only allotted a certain amount of those questions. Also there were repeats in the exams as well as the question of the day. If these glitches are fixed then I feel like the app will be even stronger than it is now!

Glitches and bad tech support team. Glitches, erased my exam data, and support team doesn’t answer their messages.

Great App!. This app has been great! It's something nice to do when you have 5 or 10 minutes of down time but still want to get in as much studying as possible. Many of the questions are similar to the PEAT exam but the app does a better job of giving explanations on why the answer is correct/incorrect. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone preparing to take the NPTE!

Help me a lot. I love it, it send me reminders, questions for the day, the only complaint is only from one book.

Useful but flawed. This app is useful but has too many issues. The app tracks your progress and says it gives you your weak areas but gives you percentages that are incorrect. I know personally what areas I struggle in but the app is telling me I have been doing well in these spots. The “question of the day” is not a unique question either, it’s just one of the 600 questions that is already on the app. I have already run across most of the questions of the day in my exam prep. It’s nice to have the app and the questions but for 35 bucks but it could be better

wonderful. focusing in exam

Loved it. Great for seeing your strengths and weaknesses and how they changed over time. Occasionally I would make tests specifically on the subjects I just completed studying in order to see if there was anything else I needed to focus more on. Helped me become more confident for the big day. Passed the NPTE on the first try!!

Issues. After 4 times of use, nothing loads when I open the app. I hope these glitches can be figured out. The questions are helpful to studying, but If I can’t access anything this app is worthless.

Encourages you to learn. The app UI/UX design is optimized for easy navigation through tons of information. The color palette is clean and simple. It also has visual feedback queues. My favorite feature is the question of the day which also gives you additional information on the answer including references. Exam strategies guide offers tips on test taking. The exam statuses are a nice touch. Overall I'm very satisfied with this app.

NPTE Pocket Prep. Great option for some good questions, however wish there were more available. Only 10 free and then have to purchase the next level of the app to receive more questions.

Great UI, terrible question writing.. Purchased the $25 pack and am disappointed. Some questions are good, but I would say 40% of them are so basic that I'm not sure I would purchase this again. (Eg "which muscle does the pisiformis test assess?" -the piriformis) Dev needs to invest in a professional question writer to make this app worth it.

Flaws. The app has flaws. It keeps repeating the same questions and the questions are pretty easy.

Freezing. The app’s content is excellent and tracks study progress well. The app often freezes or heavily lags in between transitions. That can be somewhat frustrating when you’re trying to study. Some questions of the days also repeat in organized quizzes. Despite these little hiccups, highly recommend the app. It’s highly accessible and effective to review study material.

I Passed!. This app is awesome if you buy the full version. It coordinates with the O’Sullivans book aka “big Red”. Each rationale has the exact page number to find the information. When it says guaranteed pass, it’s telling the truth. Study your weaknesses and strengths and go to work!

Hasn’t worked since update. Loved the question of the day feature and it hasn’t worked since the last update.

App Crashes All. The. Time.. The app crashes all the time, requiring me to sign-in over and over again. The app itself is also slow to load after it finally opens. The newer version is actually slower than the older one. The content of the app itself is great but when I have to spend so much time to get the questions to load, it is so frustrating.

Repeat daily questions. I try to answer a question every day and for the past few weeks it just seems to cycle the same questions through. Even the same question 2-3 days in a row. It’s very frustrating.

Greatness. 2nd yr. student. Already freaking out about what I am destine to do in a year(taking the boards). This app gives me confidence on what I already know yet challenging enough to give me an idea of how much material I need to know by then. 👍

Not good preparation. Questions are not worded well and not representative of the NPTE. I advise not buying this app

NPTE app. Very useful! It offers several questions structured the same way as the NPTE with the reasoning for each answer. I highly recommend!

Good app. Overall, I think that this is a good app. I haven’t taken my boards yet but I like how I can review/retake the questions when I’m on the go. My only issue is that I wish there more pictures associated with the explanations because I am more of a visual learner.

Better options out there. Definitely very glitchy and has times when it won’t work. The questions are okay. They repeat questions if you get them wrong which I don’t really like. If you’re looking at another app option try that- I kind of wish I had my money back on this one.

QUESTIONS ARE LOW QUALITY. The question don’t assess critical reasoning skills and differential diagnosis. They are basic questions that require one to just recall factual information.

Grade c quality. The complexity of questions does not equal to those on the board exam.

Definitely useful. This app isn’t perfect and unless you pay for the full list of questions you may see some repeat but it’s definitely great to have when you’re on-the-go and just want to answer a few questions, and if you want to check yourself on a certain content area or see how questions are phrased. I really enjoyed this app for a study tool and just passed my exam!

QOTD no longer works. Ever since the last update I haven’t been able to access the QOTD. can we get a bug fix or a refund? $30 for an that doesn’t work is unreal.

Good app. I got the free version and got to do some free questions. Based on what I've seen,the questions are clinical based and test you well. I wish I had bought this full app instead of Scorebuilders. There's also question of the day for each day and I would recommend this for quick practice.

So many repeated questions!!. I thought I was buying 600 questions! This is a rip off. EVERY TEST repeats questions I’ve had before. False advertisement. Your app is either flawed or you’re blatantly lying about the number of questions. Disappointed

A Must Have!. This is the best application when it comes to keeping yourself focused on your upcoming exam! Not only does it have test questions that you can practice with, but you can have a new question each day, allowing you to focus on different areas throughout your study prep time. What makes the application better than all the rest is that it has detailed answer explanations and allows you to create exam scenarios. When upgrading to the full version I had access to over 450 practice questions on six different categories with all relevant source material. Plus being able to set study reminders was a great way to get more studying in over the course of shorter study slots. They even include a test-taking strategy guide, which has some extremely helpful tips in it! This is a must have if you are taking the NPTE-PT Exam for 2015.

Really nice. Best studying tool besides the Saunders NPTE-PT ! I use it every chance I get. On breaks, in line waiting for something, before I go to bed, when I wake up, before tests.

Not written like the exam. The NPTE does not have negative questions, set up like "...all of the following EXCEPT" or "which of the following is NOT...". This app has questions written in this way, but the information covered is OK.

Good for review. Good for quick reviews and daily quizzes. Been using it to prepare for competencies and so far it's been helpful for me to determine what areas I'm strong/weak in that way I know where I need to spend extra study time.

Latest update won't work on my iPhone 4s. This is sad because it is the best app I have found for studying, and it worked decently before the update.
