Contact Support Button Does not Work. How to backup?. Update: I was able to contact support through their general email address. They replied speedily. I was told that although they don’t have an in app backup option all of my app data should be backed up and preserved as long as I have the app set to backup with my iOS iCloud backup. Also the contact support button only works if you have the iOS mail app setup with an email account. Because I’ve bypasses the iOS mail app entirely that is why the contact support button doesn’t work for me. Excellent support service and still enjoying the app! I am really enjoying this app and love all of the specific search details it allows you to input. I’m paying for the premium service for 15 min searches. Totally worth it. However, I’m trying to find a way to backup my searches so I don’t end up losing them if I lose my phone or need to reinstall app. I have nearly a hundred searches and losing them would be devastating due to the amount of time and research I’ve put in them for my business. When trying to contact support within app I click the button in the settings but it does nothing. Not sure how to get in touch with support to find out if it is possible to backup searches.

Bottom line: it serves the purpose. So there’s something you really want to find but can’t sit in front of your browser all day long. BayWatch will find it. It’s simple and allows you to utilize all of eBay’s filters to narrow your search. Done. What a thrill it is to hear that little “ping” and see what the app has found! Just wish it would tell you in the notification but currently you have to open the app to see which search produced results. To determine it, you must search (and squint) for a tiny little red number within your list, so the interface is not quite as user friendly as it could be. Also, you can’t select the notification sound, which tends to be the same one a LOT of other apps use, so sometimes you’ll get a feeling of false alarm. Perhaps the most helpful feature that’s missing is you can’t label your searches. Instead, the app simply lists your search word(s), so if you’re searching, for example, for several different parts by a cryptic model number, you have to remember what goes to what without an opportunity to notate. Overall though, the app is the best I’ve found for the purpose!

Just updated and now app crashes on open. Just did the update today (7/25). Used to work fine, now it crashes upon every open. Fail...

Good support, good app. Support responded quickly with a workaround and fixed a bug in a few days, great service and app!

Terrible, waste of money. This app is terrible. Paid for premium, etc and still never got notifications when new items were listed. Waste of money, don’t bother.

Worked at first, then bugs out. Worked great for a couple months, then it stopped sending notifications or any indication of new items (all the notification settings on my phone are on and the same as before). I have to close and reopen the app every time I want it to update with new items, even though I’m paying the subscription fee for rapid discovery. Wasted money! Deleted and reinstalled app, tried other troubleshooting. Nothing works.

Notifications and contact link don’t work. Paid the subscription. The app seems to load new results when I do it manually, but I don’t get notifications on my phone, and that was the only reason I paid. I’m on 13.1.3. Contact link within the app also doesn’t work. Nothing opens when tapped on. I hate to give a bad review and if this gets resolved, I’ll change it to 5 stars.

Awesome app. Just what I wanted 👍🏻. eBay saved search notifications are awful. I wanted something that would let me know immediately when something I was looking for was posted. That’s exactly what this app does. I can’t tell you how many many auctions and items this app has helped me win.

Good, needs faster search frequency. The app is good, i tried another app called "seespotbid" and they offer a search frequency of 2 mins for $4.99 a month, while "baywatch" offers a search frequency of 10-15mins for $4.99. I choose to use baywatch because its user friendly. If the developer of this app puts a faster search frequency this app would be amazing.

90% there. The app works well aside from 2 issues. First, it will sometimes not properly open/refresh the listing in the eBay app. You have to force quit the eBay app and try again. Second, it only searches every 15 minutes. I would love to be able to change that value to a lower number. I’ve nabbed some great deals, but I’ve also had some that are gone by the time I click in (and that’s with me going in as soon as the alert comes in).

Works great. Great app. I have dozens of searches on it. I’d love the ability to pause searches without having to delete and recreate them, since sometimes my priorities shift around with what I need to search for right now. Worth the money though.

Time saver is better than eBay saved feature.. This app has been key to alerting me of when items I collect are posted. Get it. You won’t regret it.

Awesome App. No apps really compare to this , I have just been using it for a few days but it’s been amazing so far. Only thing that I’m having problems with is I am not getting notifications on my home screen nor a red notification bubble above the app. I have notifications on but don’t seem to be getting them. If this can get fixed tho would easily rate it a 5/5

Love this app, so much better than official eBay app. If you follow a ton of saved searches, do yourself a favor and give BayWatch a try. The saved searched are easily configured in a single screen that has the most important options when you buy often (local only, price range, excluded word filter, etc.), and it informs you within minutes of new listings. You can then either delete found items so you don’t have to review over and over again, or watch them. While the app could use some more visual polish I found it very stable and working great; already found a bunch of great deals with newly listed items. The monthly fees for are definitely worth it if you are more than an occasional eBay buyer or if you’re looking for a great deal for a specific item that’s normally pricey. I have written in to the developer and they were responsive and friendly. Hope some features in the future include iCloud sync so you can browse the same stuff on multiple devices as well as small tweaks to the UI, like a “delete all” for search results.

Patiently Found The Graphics Card I Wanted. Sometimes people sell things at the price that's right, but it's usually gone by the time you see it. This has definitely helped me find what I need MOMENTS after it lists on eBay, so I can be sure to purchase what I need as fast as possible. If you're looking for an app that does this, look no further!

It’s good. It’s great, but for some reason I get a fair number of false positives. I get a notification and an app badge, but when I open it there are no new items. Also, why are there no longer subscription options? It’s rather pricey, and it feels like I’m constantly paying due to the longest subscription being 3 months.

Has its moments... Bad: 🔻It randomly deletes my search items and I have to retype them. 🔻The watch list with subscription is still 15 mins behind. Sometimes item on eBay sells but BayWatch was too slow to see it. 🔻 Switching between “Ending Soon” and “Newly Listed” will show items that have ended an sometimes out of order. Like it’s looking at time posted and not the countdown timer. 🔻Adding May ignore words in searches makes the search so crazy stuff. A list with one word removed will remove items that do not even have that word in the listing. Broken. 🔻Hard to keep track of what I’m currently looking at (which item list did I open??) 🔻Photos are low quality. Moving over to eBay app photos are HD. Good: 🔹Interface is easy 🔹Super easy to switch through a saved list of items to look for your search words (faster than eBay App) 🔹Good for items in Niche markets, not popular items.

Could use some improvements. The price range that you put in for BayWatch to track does not account for shipping prices. Is it that hard to include the sum of both into your desired range?

Paid for the Rapid Discovery and it didn't work. As the title says, I decided to try the subscription that gets you results within 15 min instead of the default 3 hours. I had all the settings correct but it still completely missed a search that my eBay app emailed me about. Just a heads up that it's a cool idea if it's free but not worth paying since it's apparently not reliable.

Great until iOS 13. This app worked great until iOS 13. Now it always opens items in safari instead of the eBay app. Please fix this! I’ve tried all the fixes listed in the help section too.

Nice app for eBay.. This is a good app to get notices about an item on eBay especially if you were busy. For pay version you should get notices sooner than 15 minutes.

Great. Really intelligent idea. Helps me win good auctions. I wish there was a way it could run without always being open, and I wish there was a way it could show auctions faster. Nevertheless, best app line it out there.

Why Not Have This Running??. I’ve found this to be very helpful. But I’ve learned that you MUST have a few separate “watches” going, using different sets of keywords for the same item you’re looking for... At least for me it’s really helped to yield a lot more reliable results, and I figured this out by noticing that when I entered a bunch of keywords into a “watch” for an item, when I reviewed the results that already existed on EBay, there were listings missing that I knew were active at that moment, and for the same item I was trying to lookout for. So I removed some keywords and added others into a new “watch”, and then I saw the missing listings show up in this app. So now I just have like three or four different “watches” going at the same time for the same item I’m looking for, just using a variety of keywords, and now I seem to get notified just about every time the item I’m looking for gets listed. Also, for some reason I can’t see what I’m typing right now, so please excuse what are probably many errors...

Excellent app, responsive developer. Saves me a lot of time checking up on eBay. App works well and the developer is responsive to feedback. You can set up tons of searches if you wish, and can set up terms to exclude. It’s easy to edit the searches too.

App doesn’t work on iOS. I downloaded it and it keeps saying Open Setting and Allow App Background Refresh.. ok , did that. Went back to the app and it just keeps telling me to go back and turn on That function when it already is. Was really excited for this app, too bad it doesn’t even function

Sorta works. Kind of cringe, will send a paying subscriber notifications to go look at ads when no new updates have occurred. “Look at your watchlist” I’ve seen my watchlist, Im the one who made it. I’ve paid for faster updates, and there’s often times it says there’s an update, but I can’t find it. All that said, it has helped me score some items. It just wants more money from me.

Great app and even better customer service.. We’ve been using this app for a few years now and has contributed to our success on eBay. The app is very easy to use and the searches and alerts are very reliable. Customer service is also a huge plus.

Lacking search filters. Good idea and fast app but what would have made the app more powerful in the browsing section is the ability to have more of ebay's search filters such as 'lowest price+shipping' filter to find lowest price listings and the ability to search completed listings such as 'completed' and 'completed+sold' listings in order to compare pricing history to current asking prices. Currently can only switch between best match, new listings, and ending soonest. Not ideal for all situations. Add lowest price+shipping and completed filters and app will be instant 5 star rating.

Bug. Randomly getting requested item watch notifications. Not getting ALL requested updates.

Doesn’t send notifications. I tried this app out and it functions the same as the saved search in eBay. What’s the point if it doesn’t notify you?? I have to pull down manual refresh to see and at that point I can just check eBay by myself

Opens by itself?. App states it must be open in background to work and not force close it. So I force close it. A few hours later… I’m getting notifications. So does it open itself up or was the statement untrue? It can only be one or the other. And why doesn’t the list have a link to open the item? The share button has a bunch of irrelevant text. I should just be Able to click the listing and be redirected to web or eBay app.

Works as intended. It will notify you within 15 minutes. Could be seconds after something is listed or 14 minutes. So it is a major improvement over anything eBay offers. Still hard to beat out eBay snipers, but it does help. On another note, the developer is very responsive and open to suggestions, which is very nice.

Works well. It's easy to use and understand with a nice amount of features with advertisements that are not annoying. Searches for new listings far are too slow. As the purpose of the app is to get alerted fast many people it fails in this area, monthly fee for updates every 15min. Even as a paid feature that I'd never purchase when there are probably free alternatives.. thats slow. All prices are shown in USD, or so it seems. Even if you set your main store as another country other than america, minor annoyance but still I feel this should be included in the app. I also find that the in app notifications for new listings don't go away sometimes, even if you do view it multiple times. Thanks for the app!

Bay watch. Baywatch is utterly utterly useless . In the last 3 years it has only helped me win 1 item probally cause no one else wanted it . I have missed out on dozens of items that i would of paid tripple for .if only there was a baywatch that worked

Amazingly Helpful App & Great Technical Support. I am using this app to help me complete a collection without having to go and do searches everyday on eBay for the items I am looking for to purchase. It does everything for you. And I paid to have the ads removed which I found worthwhile. I had one minor technical issue which I emailed about and got immediate and friendly support for. Highly, highly recommend this app! Awesome, awesome product! :)

unususable. the app always directs me to go to settings to enable background refresh even though its already on... sometimes i can click the search button before the prompt pops up and save a search but the notifications are only app badges, not banners.

Cool app! Super useful for eBay. Very cool app, allows me to monitor eBay search terms! Of course you can do this on eBay with an account already, but eBay seems to only send emails/alerts once a day (even when you set alerts to “real time quote in the eBay web or app interface). This app will alert you every 30 minutes or so on a new item matching your search. Will update in a few days with how reliable the alerts are. (Update: They work great) Definitely worth five stars, but I would like to see some more interface updates, such as being able to 3D Touch (or tap and hold) on items or a direct way to open links in the eBay app vs safari (without having to follow the instructions provided in the app). However neither of those things are a big deal if the alerts work well/properly. If you want alerts monitored every 15 minutes, you have to pay two or three dollars a month, which I think is fair. However I will update on how well the free alerts work in a few days. UPDATE (nov 2017)- alerts are working great! I really wish I knew about this app before ! The more I’ve used the app, it’s interface is actually pretty good . The only thing that will be nice is 3D Touch, but it’s not a huge deal wo it. I just wish I knew about this app sooner (I randomly came across it on some UK web site) Update (jan 20 2018)- still an excellent (near perfect) app/interface, i still use it daily, alerts/notifications work perfectly and this app has already helped me buy a few items at super low prices as soon as they were listed (I wouldn’t have known soon enough nor been able to find them soon enough otherwise)

Didn't work. Never worked. I setup a search but never got notified of any listings. Kept logging back into eBay and using my followed searches instead. Not sure if I was doing something wrong but this app did nothing but take up space on my phone.

Awesome App!. Bay Watch has help me land a few hard to find items I have been looking for! If I had an issue customer service would get right back to me and they are always improving the app. If you want to get the items you are looking for there's no doubt this is the best app out!

Excellent app for tracking items. Update: The latest update adds the things I've been missing: PayPal and results sorting. I still use this app every day and I really enjoy it. This app is very easy to use and quickly returns results. I'm able to watch items from within the app, on eBay, or both! I had a question for the developer and emailed him. Within a few hours he responded back with a detailed, not canned, message. He's very courteous and professional. I recommend this app if you want to be notified when new items that match your search criteria are put up for sale.

Quick and easy. Great app to use on the move. I'm constantly at work and it's very easy to pull at my phone and quickly check to see if any of the collectibles I'm looking for are for sale.

Powerful App!. I rarely take the time to write reviews, however this is an amazingly simple, yet powerful app. It does exactly what it promises and does so very efficiently. I would, however, encourage the developers to lower the price of the add-on features. I'd be much more inclined to purchase a 1 year combined add-free environment and rapid discovery if the price was $15 to $19 (total). I feel the current prices are far too high for only one year of premium access. Lower prices would equate to 5 stars for me.
