A great way to keep accounts together. This app is making a huge difference for me. With the tech age we have become really lazy, esp w/record keeping. I gave up on paper checkbook registers and switched to this…love it! Multiple accounts, at a glance. This is simple to use for a simple Mom, and yet, so much info is attached to it. Highly recommended for household or small business; sweet improvement over paper!

Oh this app…. I use it religiously but the recurring charges that have been recurring and appear unchanged in the list are not, in fact, being applied in a consistent manner. I just got an alert from my credit card and when I went to confirm that the autopay was sufficient it was not in the register at all, though it was still on repeat. This is not the only time this has happened in the past few months, and it is truly unpredictable as to which entries aren’t showing up automatically. I really love this app when it works, but yikes. How can I straighten this out?

Love it- just one suggestion. I’ve been using this app for many many years and love it. It really helps keep me up to date and with little frustration. My only wish would be that when backing up my phone, a feature could be implemented into CheckbookWiz would also back up. It would be really helpful when getting a new phone or having to restore a current phone to have all the entries return. That’s my only complaint with the app.

Deleting entries. I started using this app when another one would not support my iPhone iOS any longer. Was good at first but know it keeps deleting entries in my ledger, up to a half months worth. This is very frustrating. I go back in a put them in again then it does it again. Really messes up my balance. I sent in feedback but that must have went to the feedback trash can.

I recommend this to everyone. Do you want to be on top of your finances? Track your everyday spending and what not? Then this app is for you. This app has tremendously helped me with managing my money. By just taking an hour every couple of weeks and entering all my bank transactions, I can see what I'm doing with my money. Especially since the app lays it out SO beautifully. It is so detailed and precise and I have never been in so much control of my money. I love the ease of use. I love the layout. I love how I can see where every penny has gone or come in from. There is a wonderful search bar too, in case you needed to look something up. You can look up by category, keyword, bank account, and more. It's so precise too. If you search "food", you can see all the times you spent money on food. And you can choose the time frame that the search uses. You can search just the month, or one day, or the whole year. And when you hit search it will bring up EVERYTHING related to what you put in there. It's a powerful app and I highly recommend it.

Easy to use. Overall it's a great app, would suggest to have features as improvements for future where 1. the calendar view can also be used once the account is selected (meaning you can see the calendar for just one account) 2. Have a net amount under the income and expenses 3. Ability to select Day (instead of just month) with The income/expense in the calendar view 4. Ability to expand income/expenses to show under the each day when you select the day or month

Exactly what I needed. This app is great! I can now stay on top of all of my checking & savings account and credit card balances including detailed information on deposits, payments and spending all in one place. I wish there could be a recurrence for every 3 weeks and every three years. That would make this app perfect!

INCREDIBLE APP FOR KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR EXPENSES!!. Awesome...as soon as I make a purchase, I simply add that immediately in...then i check my online account until it has cleared...then i check the box...It’s SO much better than a written registry..Every week, I match my Checkbook with my bank account to look for fraudulent charges...I have about 10 payments that are the same monthly..so i add them all, on the day my SSDI check is deposited...so I know these charges will be coming out...and i easily edit the dates, once posted to my bank account...I don’t get blindsided by forgotten charges!! WAAAY BETTER THAN A PAPER LEDGER

Just okay, room for improvement. This app is easy to use. Have used several other checkbook apps in the past and one major difference that I would love to see on this app is the ability to “forecast” transactions. For example my cable bill is exactly the same amount every month and comes out of my account on the same day every month. Wish I could setup a reoccurring transaction that on the 15th of every month xxxx amount comes out of my account. Instead with this app I have to enter it manually every single month.

Still learning. I’ve only been using this app for a few days so I admit I’m still getting used to it. So far it’s easy to understand and I like many features it offers. But today, it keeps crashing. Why? The data I have already entered does not get erased but whatever entry I’m working on isn’t recorded and I find myself re-entering the information. I really hope this isn’t something that continues because this app offers exactly what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?

DCM Checkbook App. This s is a Great CheckBook App. The ONLY thing I don’t like about it is that it DOES NOT let you put your Transactions in exact order as you list them accordingly. It set them randomly even when you enter these “Transactions” in chronological order. Is there anyway your IT-Tech can fix this small problem? Best Checkbook App. I have used several checkbook apps. This app allows me to keep track of several account numbers that has categories that accurately label my spending. I like that I can create my own labels and numerous icons to identify them. I can upload receipts or emails for charges or credits. The transfer feature automatically updates the account that the funds are coming from. This app is easy to use and the set up of accounts is simple.

The perfect tool that I’ve been looking for. This has all of the features to mimic a typical register. I’ve been searching high and low and it’s been tough finding something that has a good balance of just enough features. One request: When selecting a payee already saved, it would be nice if the category can be saved along with the payee so that I don’t have to select it every time I enter the payee each month.

Good check register. I went through quite a few checkbook registers until I found this one. I was using another program that worked in the beginning, but then started to have sync problems. I've been using this program for several months now and it has performed flawlessly. I highly recommend this program if you need to sync between your iPhone and iPad as I do. Update: after using this for about a year now, the program seems to have syncing problems. It nulls some of my debits and loses the names of the payee; this happens when there are syncing problems with my other device. I'm still using it as a standalone, but gave up on syncing, it's become too difficult to maintain since one device shows a different balance than the other. Another update: I’ve realized that the syncing problems may be iCloud issues, after experiencing problems in other apps. This is a really good app.

Data Got lost after 4 years of being ok. UPDATE: Finally gave up on this app. No more support provided by the developer. Plus, they keep charging every six months with no improvements. Much better apps out there. One morning the app was working fine and then that afternoon I opened the app to find that my data was gone up through November of 2017. I tried to restore from the iCloud backup and the app just hung there. I wrote the developer using their website contact and it’s been a week without hearing from them. So many of my years of data are gone. Reconciling is taking me forever right now using my bank and credit card statements. Oh, AND connected to this recent problem, suddenly I’m seeing ads all over the app again. I paid for Checkbook Wiz Pro years ago to get rid of the ads. I mentioned it in my support request which has gone unanswered. Avoid this app and any others by this company.

Disappointing. I used the unpaid version for a while. It was not great, but it did the basic things that I needed it to do. Then I decided to try the paid subscription. The program was not any better. I found that after a year, I need to start all my accounts again from scratch or the program became unbearably slow. Toward the end of the subscription period, I canceled so the subscription would not renew. But the program immediately reverted to the unpaid version rather than running to the end of the subscription period. The final straw was today, when I tried to enter a transaction and got a screen telling me to sign up for the paid subscription, and was given no other option. I would not recommend this program to my worst enemy.

Great app for checkbook. Love this app. I can keep track of all accounts. It calculates everything along with recurring payments. I have tried other apps and they either crash or demand all bank information to set up. This app has no required account numbers to be entered. Some may like the automation of everything going in to app as it happens, I prefer the privacy of my accounts. Strongly recommend.

App definitely needs some repairs!. Long-time, paid user here. On the plus side, I manually backup to Dropbox and to iCloud, regularly and flawlessly. Restore has also worked great. But, the developer is no longer responsive to support requests. The recurring transactions are a mess. They don’t sort by ‘next-scheduled-entry’ date in the list of recurring transactions. It’s gotten to the point where any time I need to make any change to any recurring transaction, I delete the recurring transaction and create a new one with the current details. if you change the name of an account such as from “Chase 7314” to “Chase 8562”, it does not update the old transactions, at least not with recurring ones. Not a big deal, but from now on I’ll just use “Chase.” The app is inexplicably slow—unexplained, frequent delays of 3-4 seconds started with an update in 2021. (EDIT: I resolved this by stopping using that account that was slow. I noticed that not all the accounts were slow, so I stopped using the slow one and just made a new one with a similar name.)

Good for tracking upcoming expenditures. I use it to make sure I won’t be overdrawn in my account as payments are withdrawn. It helps me time my income deposits and bill payments accordingly in advance. The recurring payments and deposits feature is very helpful. Simple to set up and use. I wish it had a few more features, options to automatically enter recurring payments 2 weeks or 1 month before due, and reversing the order of the register, top to bottom instead of bottom up.

Finance Control. Converting to using an iPad took time. Sorting through the many apps for managing finances. Once I understood how this app worked it started to look better than the other apps that I had tried. It has the primary functions that is required to track my finances. Customizing the categories allows you to make it meet your needs. To bad it doesn’t allow local backup of the data file. As iPad now has external flash drive ability. But is still a very good program. But needs to allow the date to be free to adjust.

Best app to keep track of your money. The app is easy to use. Keeps track of your money as long as you take the time to make the correct entries. It allows you to compile and print several reports that reflect where you spend your money. Accurate. Makes bank statements reconciliation easy.

Better than a check register. I have been using this app for about 4 years now. I love that I can copy previous inputs, search for data and maintain more than one bank account. I wish it had a delete feature under payer. Sometimes I type in the wrong data and it automatically saves it but does not let me delete it, this goes for payers I no longer use. So you can image my payer list is quite long now. I also love the memo and Category options. They just started with the ads in the middle of data which is new and I am not a fan. Maybe I will look into upgrading. The app does close on the “other” option for income and lately has been closing randomly after I saved an input. I still really like the app just some bugs here and there. Using Checkbook wiz still makes my life less complicated and my checkbook balanced. Thank you! SweetpeaV

Don’t update!!!. Update! I updated to the 3.6.1 and got all my transactions back. THANK YOU! Except now the app keeps freezing and I’m having to force close and restart. It’s not a major thing. It’s just annoying. If possible, please fix this. Thanks I don’t know what you all did with the latest update yesterday but it wiped out EVERYTHING from the last year! I tried uploading the save that I have to auto download but it didn’t work. Thanks for nothing.

Horrible!!. This developer stopped updating this app a long time ago. Many areas that can improve with this app. Here are the areas of improvement: 1) should have auto decimal, 2) when entering amounts it should place the NUMBER pad for ease of data entry instead of numbers across keyboard, 3) when selecting a previously used payee, it should populate the right expense category instead of defaulting to OTHER, 4) should allow you to delete/modify expense categories, 5) it should also consolidate account totals by type, ex: banks should have a total, retirements should have a total, investments should have a total, etc. The developer took the money and ran with it.

Great app, still miss iReconcile. I have been using this app for years now, strictly for the checkbook ledger feature (I manage my checking/savings accounts only). The checkbook features themselves are great, but the app could use improvements. The Search feature is there and it works, but it’s a global search on the home screen (can’t just search within my checking account). I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro with latest iOS and over time, the responsiveness of the app has continually declined. Not sure if it’s a bug with the iOS app or what. Overall, I love the app for managing my checkbook.

Still searching. I have a checkbook register app (Pocket Money 2) that I’ve used for years and really like, but the original developer passed away and the new one destroyed it by “updating” it into something nearly unusable. But I digress. I have several complaints about most of the checkbook apps now available. Icons - how many people, when we all used pen and paper registers, drew little pictures in them when they noted a category or named their bank? At least make them optional. If I use a category for groceries, I know what that means. I don’t need a picture of a shopping cart. Recurring entries - no app I’ve looked at allows customization. I receive SSA checks on the third Wednesday of every month. In apps other than PM2, I can only pick monthly. Third Wednesdays occur on various dates. Most calendar apps allow that kind of customization so i assume it can be done. Screen clutter - most apps have screens that are much too busy with graphics and unnecessary pictures. Simplicity is usually the most elegant. There are other things, but you get the picture. Developers should search the App Store to find apps that have the highest number of 5 star ratings and, without violating copyright laws, try to make something similar. Or look at the ones with the most 1 star ratings to see what people don’t like. End of rant. Thanks for reading. BYW, I only gave this app 1 star hoping people will read it. The app is maybe a 3 star.

No longer free, very small amount of transactions unless you pay. I’ve used this app for years and even with the bugs that messed up account balances, removed transactions and caused errors when using certain categories, I still continued to use the app because I’ve been using it for so long and it was the closest free app I could find to an old checkbook app I loved that was no longer supported on the newer iOS at the time (very simplistic without a bunch of filler). They added ads where you have to wait before moving on, fine. But now with this new update, I’m unable to add any transactions because it says I have “-4964 transactions left”. I can watch a video for 50 transactions which I’ve done and I’m grateful for that but I will be looking for another app. I don’t mind paying but with the issues I’ve experienced with this app, I’d rather not. I will just keep it for historical purposes.

Still F up. Once again unable to clear a payee without adding it back in to the register. Do not waste your money on this app. The developers do not get back with you nor fix the issues. Well after several complaints about not being able to correct entries and having this app for several years. Have deleted and moved over to accounts3 where I can correct names and not have to have misspelled or incorrect data. And the iCloud works do keep my devices up to date. Get what you pay for. Good luck.

3.6.1 fixed the bug. Update: Version 3.6.1 was able to bring back all recovered transactions, but only because I had the app on my iPad also and did not update the iPad app. If it wasn’t for that back up I would have lot everything. Quite a scare, but great app. Do not update to version 3.6. This was a fantastic app until the previous update. Once I updated and opened the app, every transaction from the past year disappeared from my device. I lost everything, the iCloud backups also disappeared. I have to start all over the the beginning. While starting over, when I add an account, every time I try to type in a beginning balance, the app crashes. I contacted support with these issues and the person who responded doesn’t even work with this particular app, asking me to tell him what the update does and doesn’t have.

Sudden problem. I was trying this app out to see if it could replace my existing checkbook app and I really like it. A few problems popped up recently, however. Inside my main account, the running total it keeps with each transaction is WAY off. I also wish you could set a default screen to start on. It would be helpful to start on the accounts screen instead of with “today’s transactions” if I so choose. Giving 2 stars because the running total issue is a deal-breaker for me.

Very slow. On my iPhone 13, the app is very slow to respond when I check on items that cleared. It also does not post all of my payments that are set up as recurring payments which is very annoying. When setting up a new recurring payment if the first payment is not due for another week or two, it still posts the recurring payment in my current balance. Not helpful. And yes, I paid for the full app a few years ago and now can’t restore the purchase because it times out.

Great app.. Some things that need to be fixed though. 1. Allow us to create a current time. Currently whatever the time it is when you enter the transaction that is the time of the transaction. 2. Something is going on with the recurring transactions. I put it in for once a month and it doesn’t always show up once a month. These are the same things I see that need improvement as of 7/5/21

Awesome Checkbook app. I love this app. I would like a few things to be a little different. I have issues with the recurring transactions. Also, credit card accounts should be handled differently than other accounts. And credit card accounts should include due dates on payments and should show you how much you’ll owe on your bill. Instead of telling me I have 200 available it should tell me I have 200$ available and a 100$ balance if my credit limit is 300$. The credit card aspect should be completely redone if they’re gonna claim to keep track of it because credit cards function differently than checking accounts.

Nice program. Big flaw.. I’ve used this for almost two years. Simple and flexible, and just what I wanted: a check register that makes it easy to keep my accounts balanced. But…the recurring entries function has simply stopped working reliably. Some entries are duly entered into the register, then “rolled over” to the next month. Others are rolled over without ever being entered. For example, I have a regular monthly insurance payment. The app is set up to enter the payment into the register on the first of each month. Sometimes it does; sometimes it doesn’t. But either way, the list of recurring payments rolls on to the next month. So I’m scrambling to find the disparity between the bank’s records (which show the payment) and my own (which show the next payment will be recorded in October even though the September payment was never recorded). I hope that is reasonably clear. I’m bringing this up because I have contacted the designers twice but have never received a response. I did upgrade to the paid version this year, but probably will not renew.

Out of date and never did sync well. I've been using the checkbook app on my phone for years, and have the checkbook wiz on my iPad. The checkbook app no longer works because the developer needs to update it for iOS 15, and I can't sync checkbook wiz on my phone from the cloud. I don't know why. Most of the data is on my iPad, and both are signed into the same iTunes account. The syncing was never great, anyway, and I had decided to use the app on only a single device. Otherwise, I never knew what amounts were correct. Now my best data is trapped in an app that's currently obsolete, and I am also unable to restore my purchase of checkbook wiz on my phone. Frustrated.

Love it!. I use this daily as my register to keep track of all transactions. Love the functionality and this is the only app I've found that shows my cleared/uncleared transactions and calculates them the way I want to see it. And I can export and backup to Dropbox. Wish there was more support for other bank icons but that's hardly a serious critique.

It does what I need it to do.... I have had this app for a couple of years now and I am pleased with what it does. It allows me to keep track of multiple accounts just like I would with an analog checkbook register with a whole host of features that help keep me organized. It is relatively bug free and with the exception of the ads it operates pretty smoothly (I can’t tell you why I have not purchased the upgrade yet but I most likely will now that I have shamed myself into it). I cannot speak to the more advanced functions like reports and such as I don’t use them. I highly recommend this app for someone wanting a good, complete and relatively simple way to track one’s bank and credit card accounts. UPDATE: So I upgraded and I’m so glad I did. Getting rid of the ads made a difference and the ability to print reports, compile data and print them is pretty nice. It’s not QuickBooks Pro but it does the trick for what I need. Still very happy with this app.

Great app except when it crashes. I have used this app for about 3 years. It is my favorite checkbook app and the most customizable. I can have multiple “accounts” and look at my total in months, quarters, or the year. My biggest complaint is this app has lost all my information 3 different times. It’s so frustrating and only once did I get it back (I bought the pro version). Starting over is awful and losing all my information is ridiculous. This last time it happened I started backing it up manually every day. I updated my phone with the IOS 13 and this app has been a little glitchy since then-it won’t let me add pictures and has crashed a couple times-and since the apps last update. So, overall love this app but get it together and stop losing all my info. Also the customer service is awful!

Great app, occasionally doesn’t load 🙄. I LOVE this app!! I depend on it...probably not unlike most of you, I have OCD lol I am most comfortable when I am aware of every cent, in the bank as well as debt. Mistakes happen often & this app has been there for me making it easy to catch errors. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the cloud sync. It works, but (twice now with one phone & also whenever I upgrade my phone) the cloud syncs data from a couple years ago. I panic because I literally lost all my financial information!!! This past time took almost a week to finally update & go back to my comfort zone of seeing every cent! So basically this app is a life saver but also likes to watch you squirm occasionally!

Good app. Like the app just wish it you went to change a reoccurring payment it didn’t mess with the post date. I’ve changed an amount and when I save it either quits posting on the scheduled date or posts it too early. I also wish it would keep entries in the order you enter them. If you enter multiple debits it it doesn’t put it I the order you entered them unless they’re different dates.

Regularly loses transactions. As others have mentioned I was looking for a replacement for ireconcile a few years back and thought this was a great replacement. However, over the last few years the app has lost hundreds of my transactions at a time on multiple occasions and I cannot get them back, but instead have to spend hours manually reentering them or just start over from scratch & lose all my history. The setup of the app is good and it’s great when it works, but extremely frustrating when it deletes everything. Please fix this recurring problem and I’ll happily change my review, otherwise I guess I’ll start searching for other options to replace this app.

Great Multi Currency. I was so upset when my previous checkbook app stopped working with a newer iOS. I tried a few different apps, but I need multi-currency options. This app is great! I can keep track of all of my accounts. It’s very easy to do and input the information. I really like the reports and the ability to create customized categories and sub-categories.

Fantastic app!!!. As we approach retirement in the next few months, we decided to live on our projected monthly income, instead of what we currently make. This helped us track where our spending went, to the penny, and has helped us immensely. It's easy to use, and very informative. I love this app! I did spend the $1.99 to allow me to print reports. It's worth it! THANK YOU!! 🤗

I like…. But I can no longer see the full screens of the pop up windows. The right side is cut off so you can’t see the clear box. I would love if you could search for cleared and uncleared items when the cleared items are hidden. I like to hide the cleared items but sometimes need to copy them so I have to go back to settings to turn them on to search.

Excellent Support. I have been using this App for several years and love it. It is easy to use and works well. There was a problem with the prior update and I lost the last two years of my entries. However, I immediately sent them an email asking them to help. They got back to me quickly, issued a new updated version and one I updated everything was back. I will continue to use the App and truly appreciate their. Support.

Great app, developers consider your feedback. I’ve been using the app for 5+ years (paid version) and highly recommend to others. Not a lot of other apps have the ability to manage multiple accounts as easy as this app. Additionally, they’ve surprisingly always developed suggestions I asked for like the duplicate a transaction button.

Ads. Update on July 17, 2020. I absolutely love this app, BUT... I bought the paid version to get rid of the ads. Two days later I still have ads. I contacted support and they told me to use restore purchases button. I have done it repeatedly. I also deleted the app, reinstalled it and loaded my data back in from iCloud. Still, I have ads. Also, the balance for my checking account has been off by large differences. it seems like almost every time I open the app, a different balance shows up. I I have paid for and tried to use so many different bookkeeping apps that I am now giving up and going back to my Numbers spreadsheet. I use an app for two or three months and then my account balances go crazy and are incorrect. This has happened repeatedly. My spreadsheet is quicker and easier to use in the long run. As far as the checkbook part of the app, it works really well. Yesterday, I downloaded the paid version. I still have ads all over the screen and ads that bring up their own screens. I just want to get what I paid for, which includes no ads.

Great replacement for iReconcile. As others have said was looking for a replacement for iReconcile which is no longer supported. This is an amazing app and well worth the $1.99. There's only two suggestions that would make it better. 1) Allow for account selection with the reports. I have multiple accounts setup and the reporting doesn't let me look at individual accounts, it just aggregates it all together. 2) Once you select a category for a payee, it should default to the last selection. The default is to other forcing you to recategorize every time you make a selection. Thanks for a wonderful app!! The new version category binding worked then it stopped. Not sure why!?

Checkbook Wiz. Was a good program for many years. Then I could no longer enter the cents when I tried to enter checks and deposits. The curser would no longer go to the bottom line and I could not get there no matter what I did. That problem rendered the program uselessly. So I wrote to the company a number of times asking if there was a way to fix it. I never got a single reply so now I have to get another app and start all over. THANKS LINKLINKS LTD! I am giving your program another try. I am so used to the way it works. So far except for the annoying ads, it is working well. This is the last time I will use it if any other problem arise.

Love it!. This app is everything I’ve been looking for. Over the last few years I’ve tried out about 25 or so different apps. At one point I thought this one was messing up and even sent them an email. But I realized it was me and had to immediately let them know it was me that I messed up. Sorry guys🤪. Anyway, it has it all. Even a calendar section to keep track of spending on any particular day. I can finally quit looking for the right app because this one is it👍 Update: Enjoying the ease of use and everything this app offers. Much like a regular check register with all kinds of different awesome benefits. It’s only gotten easier and more enjoyable being able to input purchases and income on the fly. That’s important when I forget about buying something and realize when I check the bank the next day that I don’t have as much in the bank as I thought. Hasn’t happened since I started using this app.

The Best. I've been looking for an App that would record all my personal finances in an easy yet thorough way. This is it. Fabulous. And easy to use. So flexible.

What I’ve been looking for. So far, so good. Free trial, no recurring fees, split transactions over multiple categories. I have bought the upgrade hoping that I will never need another finance app. This is working on my iPhone 6s with iOS 11. Only 1 real negative so far, I can’t see a list of all my transactions. I’d like to be able to scroll through them. I hope that this will be changed in the future and that it won’t be a huge deal in the interim, as I am able to search for a specific transaction. This is why only 4 stars.

iCloud sync is not available.. The sync function is not available in this version of the software. You can backup and restore but no automatic sync.

Good app.. This app is very useful. I would give it a five stars if it had a Budget feature. I asked the developer but received no answer after a week.

Excellent. Travaille très bien!

Useful for printing out accounts. I have various home support people who work for me. I’m able to track where my money goes and print off monthly reports/email PDFs for verification. I’m also able to set up accounts for stores that have accounts to follow where my balance is, without needing to look for the latest receipt. Same with gift cards etc. Using this app to track the non-tax accounts makes for easier tracking.

Check book. Like the program easy to use. Do not like that I can not put a credit into an account. All credits need to be input as income so if I take some thing back it has to be recorded as income. Would like this to be fixed

Very good bookkeeper. I have been using Checkbook Wiz for a couple of years now, and have found that it is a fairly comprehensive program which is user friendly, with only a couple of things on my wish list: 1. I would like to be able to record recurring transactions even if they are split into different categories; and 2. I would like to be able to record a refund of a transaction more easily (as a negative item under expenses, instead of a positive item under income). 3. Recently, when I am splitting the expense into various categories, the amounts no longer show up in the category - only the total changes. Other than that, it works great, is quite robust, and rarely crashes.

Easy to use. I was skeptical about using this application in the beginning. It definitely gives me a feel of what I have and where my money goes. The app is user friendly and definitely worth purchasing.

Great App. I was looking for a simple app to replace Microsoft Money. I found one previously that I paid for that cumbersome and took a lot of time to put in old transactions. I found this app and could not be happier. People complain about the ads but they don't bother me. Just close them and move. I love this app.

Great app. I really like the app and have used for several years. Was bummed that out of the blue they start making you pay to use. 😕 oh well…I guess that’s the way it is. It’s very easy to use. I wish it would let you inactive accounts as well as delete.

Creates Problems. Lately, this app has begun interfering with the operation of my iPad. I am not certain if it is the result of the advertisements that interrupt while using the iPad or any other reason. I have an additional iPad that does not have the app installed and I do not have the same difficulty. This is becoming a problem and I will probably delete the app as soon as I find a suitable alternative

Use it Daily. It’s a great app. Would like to see some changes to the recurring feature. If I change an amount or anything it frequently reverts to original date, entering a year or more or payment that have to delete. Otherwise it’s a good app. I also have begun to have problems with recurring payments not paying. No matter what I do they won’t flip to the register. I have to set up new payment and delete the old one. What’s up with that. ??

Good but was better without ads. Still a good app but, it was much easier without having to watch ad’s after every entry. Occasionally it will allow you to watch one ad for 50 transactions.

Save by update, but..... I too lost about 2.5 years of transactions but the developers were quick to respond and make the fix. Having the app on a second device saved me as I made no changes on that system. The problem now is that there’s no auto sync between devices. It has to be done manually which is really annoying. The app also should offer split screen capability. That would be a game changer.

Must have. I love this app. It’s awesome at helping me keep my finances in order. I love how I can migrate it from my iPhone to my iPad. Only issue is sometimes it takes a while to load all my info, but w/ 5+ years of info, that’s a lot of data!

All data wiped.. Everything was fine until just recently all my information got wiped. I sent the company an email to see what can be done as nothing could have caused the information to just dissapear, but I have not heard back from anyone. Looks like they are lacking customer support. This has created a giant nightmare in regards to my finances. Apparently even though the backup option was turned on, it never actually did anything.

Excellent register. This app has really grown on me. Most financial apps suffer from too-much-ness. This one does everything I want and is very easy to use without looking like a sixth grade school project. My only real complaints are it not remembering the category of payees and the need to enter the decimal.

Outstanding!. Easy to use. Recommend! My only concern is when there are too many total transactions, it really slows dow and I mean REALLY…Slow. I sent a note to support looking for an answer and heard nothing (twice). I finally just deleted the old transactions and started fresh as if new

It’s awesome and simple, I have the paid version. I would like it to be able to upload to the cloud for sync across devices. For example, I want to be able to sync it to my fiancé’s phone so we both can add records simultaneously and have it up-to-date.

More Icons Please. App is great. Best I have found in a long time. Would like the ability to add more Icons in the Category Section. This App actually syncs with other devices and is accurate on the other devices. Not everyone uses their IPhone for everything. Keep up the Great work. Used to be great. This used to be a really great app, that’s a thing of the past. I remember when you could pay for the one time ad removal, for a couple of bucks. Another thing that’s long gone. This app is loaded with ads, and those who paid have to deal with it. The latest update wants you to pay a subscription or watch videos, no thanks, I’m finding a different app. Don’t waste your time and money!

Good basic accounting. Good basic book keeping. Easy to get used to it. Easy to make corrections. Keep track of your checks, where you wrote them and what for. Very good basic app.

Worked for the first 2 years..... I had two year’s worth of entries in 10 different accounts and now it is all gone! I haven’t backed it up for several months so now everything is lost! I lived by this app on a daily basis. Opened it tonight to reconcile my account and it went back to the first couple of entries from 2 years ago. All of it gone! This is the second time a paid app has crapped out on me with my checkbook. Apparently I need to go back to pen and paper. Highly disappointed in this app and I have hours ahead of me to juggle my accounts and bills

Awesome!!!. EXACTLY, what I was looking for!! Accurate, easy and great for anyone who has multiple accounts and recurring transactions to keep track of. Great reports, easy back up and recovery, they nailed it with this App, highly recommend this!

Can use with multiple devices.. I love this checkbook app. It it easy to use, allows me to categorize expenses. I can record multiple bank accounts in the same app. It can be uploaded to the cloud and moved to different devices. I highly recommend! Not sure how I got alone without it!!!

Checkbook Wiz. So far I have enjoyed this app. I am still trying to figure this out, this is why I didn't rate it a 5. I like that it reminds me every evening to document my transactions. Make sure to uncheck the "cleared" box if you know for sure it hasn't posted to your bank account. I have tried other apps and have not enjoyed them as I have this one.

Still a few of us old guys left!. Checkbook Wiz is a very handy app! I’m pretty old school when it comes to keeping records of all my transactions, and I still enjoy the feel of having a register to make sure my books are balancing!

Great app. The only addition I would like to see is a way to add credit cards to the accounts. This will enable us to keep track of our balance and payments. So, you can add your credit card balance and be able to subtract you payments. Otherwise I love the functionality of this app.

Very Useful App. Have benefited from having this good App. Easily used, and can fit it to my specific needs! Use it daily, makes keeping track of my checking easy. Love this app, helps me keep my finances in order!

Easy and Versatile. I use this app to keep track of expenses as a self-employed musician. I can create a summary of expenses at the end of the year to send to our tax guy and he does the rest! I will definitely be looking at and learning about the other features.

Recurring Entry. Have used this app for many years with no problem. All of a sudden my recurring feature stopped working correctly. Please….Please fix this. I’d love to give it a 5 Star rating. It’s one of the best checkbook registers I’ve used until this feature quit working.

The only thing that could make it better would be for spouses to be able to simultaneously use the app from each of their phones so they could always be live and updated in any checks that were written and still out, etc

Love this app!. I have tried other checkbook apps, and this is the best ... by far! From the easy layout, to the very useful reports, I always know how and where my money has been spent. It makes budgeting for the month clear and easy. I am very happy with it!

Calendar. Only wish the calendar included the day of the week. Some expenses/income are by week day not date. Like the second Wednesday of the month. Compares to my old system.

Great app. After trying few apps, I finally find the one who has everything I was looking for. Update: Another reason why I really love the app: when I contacted the developers, they responded immediately.

Great app for tracking multiple accounts!. I really like this app. It’s simple to use and I love that I can set recurring charges for my monthly bills etc. I also like that you can have several accounts so I don’t have to limit myself to two or three like in other apps.

Double check. Often you make purchases and they don’t show up at your bank I enter every transaction and get a true up to date balance

Update Oh-Oh!. I Love this app, and have never had any issues with it until today. I have lost everything for the last two years it looks like. It shows my last transaction being in 2017. After further investigation I find that this app did an update today. Updates shouldn’t be taking me backwards. Lost my various accounts, and recurring payments and everything else I had set up. Oh well! Looks like I’ll have to start over...

Good App. So far so good... this app has a variety of useful features such as recurring entries, multiple accounts, Dropbox sync, etc. I have two suggestions though: 1) Allow entering a transaction from the recurring entries; 2) Allow a “Look Ahead” feature that would show projected balance after recurring entries. If those two features are added, this app would be perfect! Thanks for a great app!

Exactly. If you like to be in full control of your budget, this app is honestly my beat friend. I can plan for the future and know what I’ve spent by using the app each day. It allows me to know exactly where my money is and is supposed to go by inputting and planing it out.

Categories. The app works well. I have two complaints. 1. It would be nice to have the date show in the register as well and have each day separated by a line like it is for each month. 2. It would make the app so much easier to use if when you enter a previous merchant that the category automatically repopulate with what you used last time.

A great help!. Very user-friendly app. I especially love the categories feature. Great for budgeting and will be very helpful at tax time. Can’t live without the recurring transactions help. Well worth paying the small one-time fee for additional features plus removing ads.

Great for expense tracking. Been using this app for a couple of years. Makes checkbook reconciliation very easy and helps to show where your money is being spent.

I like this app however. The app has gotten very slow. I wish there were an easy way to delete old transactions. Can any one tell me how to do delete en entire year at a time. I don’t mind paying the fee to use the app however it is extremely slow

Works really good…well, it was working….. Ive been using this now for at least two years and I really like the app. It syncs between my devices so I can always have the latest balance. Wish it did it automatically but manual sync is fine. The issue I have now is that none of my reoccurring charges get entered automatically the way they’re suppose to. I have to keep entering them manually. It’s a glitch I wish they’d fix!

Nope. I have used this for a couple years and always the same problem. This will show me having less than what my account states. I’ll go through with a fine tooth comb, all entries correct, but there is always something missing on this end. There are times that you can’t place a certain date for an entry or it will miscalculate. I’m not certain what’s going on, but it’s a waste of money. Account 3 is much better.

Finally found the perfect money app. Works great for budgeting your monthly bills. Takes a little time to learn the ins and outs, but so easy to manage my accounts!

Just the Ticket. Does exactly what I wanted. Perfect replacement for paper bank books. I didn’t want a budget program, an efficient way to keep track of my income and expenditures. This app does the trick. Very happy.

Change of plans…. I really like this app. I used it all the time with the ads. And then just last week, I was forced to pay for it because I had too many transactions for it to be free. Sudden change out of no where. It’s only a couple dollars but it’s been free for me for years and all of a sudden I had to pay for it. Glad I don’t have stupid ads but now I have the “rate this app” pop up all the time. So here’s your review!

Not so great. I have used this app for approximately 5 years. I just bought a new phone and the data from the app did not transfer over very well with much of it missing and now I am getting ads even though I have paid for the app. I have hundreds of hours invested in this data and am not getting any response from the developer so am looking to change.

Can’t add new data. I must echo the review from July 7. I would be willing to pay the small monthly fee, but I can’t seem to get in to enter new data. I may have to find a new app and just use this for historical purposes. ——————- It’s been a while since I’ve entered data. Now there’s a box for subscribing to a pay service. I hit “restore” and something seems to be loading interminably. I can’t get into my data. Help!

I like almost all features. I really wanted a checkbook app that would also report on spending trends. So this is a great fit for me. One aspect I would love to see improved is the backup. I use this app on 2 devices so I’m backing up/restoring a lot. If it would auto sync between the devices, this app would be perfect!

LOVE this app. Absolutely love this app, just like having a check register but on your phone. It's so easy to use and is very user friendly!!!! You can also have different accounts and keep track of all your finances in ONE place!!!

Great App!. Excellent money tracking app. Only improvement I would ask for is the ability to search previous purchases by name of payee.

Life changing. I used to fumble my way through my finances until I got this app recommended to me. It’s literally changed the way I look at money and how best to save money. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Really Appreciate The App. I depend on this to keep track of my day to day spending. It’s been super helpful. My only critique is that I wish the app could associate spending categories with specific sellers. Like if I put in Mobile I wish it would remember and auto populate it as Gas expense. But even without that I love the app.
