Nothing works. I signed up for couple events that required Active App. I have connected them on a computer and even created teams, but when i look at the app on my phone none of the events are showing under my profile. No past, no future. What’s the point of having this up if you cannot see the event you signed up for......

Nice. Just looking at application as I would normally do this from a desktop. Nice seeing event, but it would be nice to filter better. I am not looking for events for kids and the majority of the ones I saw were for kids. Also, I imagine it would be nice to search for kid only events. For running, it would be nice to break down trail versus road, (there are at least 4 running categories and walking) also it may be nice to break down race size. I saw many mis-matches, cycling - mountain biking events (why waste it with 2 categories) and there is a category for mountain biking, 10Ks listed under 5ks, I imagine this is discouraging to someone new to working out and racing.

Active app. There is no point in owning the active app. I have an event coming up and my ticket doesn't even show up. I also tried registering in the event though active and it basically takes me to the mobile site with tons of annoying banner ads that gets in the way. If the active app is going to direct me to the mobile web page, I wouldn't need the app right?

👎🏽. Severely dislike the app. Pretty useless. I downloaded this app for the sole purpose of keeping track of the race I just recently entered. To be fair, the website did not have any info neither despite the fact that I had just signed up a couple of days ago. But the app also didn’t have my family’s information to make it easy to sign everyone up for any future events. I gave one star because the app does show ongoing events with open registrations.

Poor search, poor interface, mediocre support. Just tried to use the app and the website. Very poor search filters. No defaults (like events nearby or soon timeframe). Took several calls to fix login troubles. Could be much more useful but very slow/almost no development. I expect they are waiting on a buyer.

Lots of race info. This app has info on any kind of race you want & it’s easy to register for them. However results don’t often load & can’t find links to race photos so follow up could be improved.

Been a while but it feels great. I have not used this app in years, but it looks cleaner and it is easy to find races and descriptions of races before I register.

Doesn’t cover all currently registered races. So after spending a couple hours of my time and a friend’s time this morning trying to figure out why the heck 6 races she registered me for were not showing up, I realized they are on the website but not the app. Before you even ask, yes, it’s the same email address on the active web account as what I had logged into the app. Such a waste of time. App has been deleted. Get your stuff together Active

Needs to be better. Downloaded so I could access my event registration without navigating in browser. App doesn’t reflect my actual account status. Doesn’t show my event. Tried refreshing multiple times.

Delay in list caused error. I was doing my race calendar, and registering on this app, but things so not show up in the list right away. So using the list of upcoming in the app Les me to believe I hadn't registered yet for one of my events. Because of this I registered again. Then both registrations showed up in the list. I've been fruitlessly contacting both Active as well as the race director to get one registration cancelled and refunded. So far it's been a week and no reply. Hope I'm not stuck paying double because of the lag in displaying my upcoming. Aside from that, it's convenient that most every race can be registered here, even using my Rock N Roll Series Tour Pass. That was surprisingly nice and easy.

Not enough events, not enough member benefits. I’m trying our the premium membership... I was hoping to see more ways to use my premium membership in the app. It didn’t connect a race that I’ve signed up for prior to being a premium member. I found more race events with google... Obviously not every race uses Active. That’s sort of the core issue. This app only advertises their races and it’s less than a third of the events that I sign up for.

Fix filter!. Filter system inefficient and inaccurate. Can’t figure out how to add an event if I registered for the event before downloading the app. It only seems to want to add it by trying to force me to register all over again. Other apps are just easier to use for this purpose.

How I feel ❤️. Active app has always been my go to app to see what’s up on the agenda when it comes to competition. The app is easy to use and well I just love it thank you Active 😘

Okay app. My events that are upcoming keep disappearing and the record of events I have completed isn’t accurate and it is frustrating when trying to prove I have paid for an event. My Apple wallet holds all my event information and is way more accurate

Needs serious face lift, difficult to use. Seems like this app was made for the iPhone 3... needs a serious face lift, it’s also very difficult to use when purchasing a race admission. I bet it turns a lot of potential users away. Much like the Active website, they could definitely look at improving their user experience on both ends.

Filter needs work. The website has a horrible filter. This app is much better but wonky. The website doesn’t see items you favorite in the app. Not a great app or website, but it’s better than nothing.

Do not sign up. Honestly, do not sign up for this. You can just look at each race by googling races in your local town because they will charge you $90 and just take it out of your bank if you sign up through them and pay for all your tickets to a race a month later you’ll be charged another $90 to have this app so just go to the race site.

Sad!. Can’t see my results for any of my past races. From old reviews I see there are no plans to ever fix this. Too bad! Could be great and motivate me to enter more races, but nah, I guess I’ll just do my usual runs that my friends already do. I’ll check back each year to see if you guys ever get serious about the App! Good luck!

It's a good app for what I need. I downloaded the app to find local races. It let me do exactly that. Plus it did show the races I've completed that I registered for THROUGH ACTIVE, and linked me to the results. I'm about to use the couch to 5k training program they have on here too because I haven't run for a while and my wife's never done a 5k.

Very solid. If you’re a racer, this app makes registration really simple. I’d give it 5 stars for that feature alone. The shopping is a bonus

Great app may be even better. Good app but when you select a past event you still need to look for the results when they should pop up directly ... for the rest it is awesome !

Awesome App. I like this app for the most part Although it could be a lot smoother it seems a bit slow and buggy at times. Also they should try and capture more of the local races around still find it misses a few. Still I would recommend as it make the whole process of signing up for events simple.

Love it. I am always up to day with the next runs and I have easy access to my next runs. Can’t live without it

Great app. Handy app. Only suggestion -- for the past few years the app has links to each event’s website, and the links never work. On top of that, the website is hidden using a complicated url that gives no hints what the actual url is. How about a simple reference to the event’s website so we can easily read more about the event before or after we register.

Decent but lacks good event search capabilities. I find the app useful when I know an event that exists but I'm always disappointed when I try to search for events. Like other said it is hard to filter out some of the miscellaneous for kids items. And I have kids who I would like to search for events for, for example use triathlons, but there is no way to do that easily on the app.

ACTIVE ADVANTAGE SCAM. Do NOT sign up for any races using Active. They will AUTOMATICALLY, without having to check any boxes, enroll you into a ‘free’ trial for Active Advantage which auto renews and unless you pay close attention to your emails, you will have no idea. Yearly auto renew is $80. The kicker…you can’t cancel on the website. You have to email them and they have to start the process for you. Not only is this the most deceptive enrollment technique I’ve seen used before, it’s also the least efficient and hardest way to unenroll from the auto renew.

Ability to filter is very limited. I was looking for an ultra marathon, in the fall. Preferably 50 miles. Thinking a search of 50 miles or 50 miler, anywhere in the US, would be enough to find races of 50 miles. The search results included 15+ different triathlons and a series of 5k’s. This app is a coat hanger abortion. Just terrible. It appears that the sponsored events appear as the top search results, regardless of their relevance. Imagine if you searched for iPhone cases on google, and 200 result for skateboards were the result. That’s what this app is. Smh

Terrible. This app is terrible. I don’t know if people don’t register their event here but it never shows many events around my area and I know there are plenty. For example, I know of several half marathons within 100 miles of me and my search was done using the 500 mile radius. It shows nothing.

App needs major work. App is generally slow and it does to be naturally connected to apple - for example they keyboard is huge when typing. The search tool does not work, I search for color run and all runs populated. The results tab is broken - no results come up, just the spinny wheel or death. My upcoming runs are populating. This app needs some help

Doesn’t work anymore :(. Really liked being able to pull up my past and upcoming races. Unfortunately, the app stopped working. Hopefully, they fix soon.

Good. The only complaints I have are, 1. virtual races are mixed in with actual races and 2. no way to separate races that are, family friendly and adult only, also 3. Wish there was a section that had multi-distance races (offers, 5k-10k-Half-Full-kids 1/2 mile etc)

Health and fitness at your fingertips. I like how everything health and fitness related is in one convenient spot. Events are easy to find and sign up for. No complaints here :-)

Very informative. Love this app! Contains lots of race information, even for the virtual ones that help keep you active in the winter months when you can only work out at home! Thank you

Beware! There’s a hidden button that charges you $90!. I have used the Active website to purchase 5k runs and others..BUT when you use the app they have a little box checked somewhere..and I’m savy don’t get me wrong..but apparently they need memberships so badly they’ll underhandedly check that box and wham! You’ve just purchased a $90 membership you never wanted. Just a heads up. Also, when you call in they’ll make you feel like you just changed your mind...not apologizing and taking any of the blame. Maddening.

Horrible. This is the worst app it doesn’t do anything you can’t claim you’re registration and I called customer service please don’t get me started they give you the runaround. First you can’t find the # you have to google it then you call it it’s no help and you have to call another # smh ridiculous. Luckily who you talk to is very polite and try to be helpful but it is really nothing they can do. I just wanted to transfer my registration it shouldn’t be that hard but apparently it is. A bad experience I doubt I use them again. So no more mud runs. THANKS.

Not exact match with computer version. Registration summary on mobile app not available with details that are available via website , for example race day transportation payment and race day pick up available via website, but not via mobile app

Decent app could use some work. Outside of the issues with filtering and finding exactly what you’re looking for, the lack of compatibility with screen resolutions for the last two generations of iPhones is frustrating. The mobile website gives you a better experience than the app which makes the app of limited use at best.

Doesn’t work in Europe. Worked fine in the states now it won’t pull up anything in my area. I know there are races because they pop up all the time on insta with active in a different language. But as soon as I open the app to look for activities I just get the ring of death.... tried to reinstall the app, turned off vpn and same outcome. Shouldn’t be this hard to search. Smh

Great App. This is a great way to keep track of all my events. Just wish that all my races would be here, but since I can't figure out why some are not I can't complaint because it might very well be a user error.

Good search tool; Some events aren’t listed.. The app has pretty nice and easy to use Search and Filter options. The profile section is great since it keeps your Completed races. My only issue is when I search for races, that not all appear to be listed.

Not helpful. I'm looking for a century ride within 100 miles. If you tap cycling, you get crazy stuff such as a nature walk exploring life cycles. The categories must just be unthinking search terms, as opposed to organizer provided categories. Moreover, the filters don't allow you to choose a distance or skill level. I can do better on Google.

Frustrating at times. The mobile app is good with looking like the actual website but the problem I have is some events show up on the website but not the app. I’m currently looking at a race I want to do on the website but cannot find on the mobile app. Would be great if each event had a reference number or at least an email button to send to friends to prevent this shortfall from preventing friends from missing an event.

Great everywhere. I travel frequently through out the year and I love using this app to find local races no matter where I am. It only shows races that use ACTIVE, so it doesn't always show all the possible races in the area. It would be nice if it showed all races in the area but distinguished which ones you can register with ACTIVE.

Better filters. I don’t want to receive emails for events I’m not interested. I want to filter what events I get notified by email. Also, I want the app to only show me events I want to see. Please allow us to filter more and be more detailed. I would like to see obstacle course races as a category too. Thanks.

Doesn’t Work. So far, this app is way behind the technology race in that it simply doesn’t work. In fact, all it really does is show my upcoming events. But when you click on them to get more information, it says their servers are down… and, this has been the story since installing this app. I was thinking about a paid version since I’m planning on doing more races this year… but I’d worry that this would be the case even with a paid version!!! Server issues like this could mean a lot of things including IT security!!! I do hope you work this out sooner than later!

Great app to register for all sorts of Runs/Races. I like the fact you can register for all sorts of events and you'll be good togo. My only problem with the app is when you click on links from the app it doesn't really go anywhere. Jus stays loading and loading and nothing happens. Even when you review results.

Be warned $. I just wanted to sign up for a run, unfortunately through all the agreements and pop ups I mistakenly signed up for a free trial. I couldn’t find an option to cancel on my account. I sent a simple email informing Active of my error and to please cancel. Queue the sales pitch they didn’t cancel. I’ll be waiting for the charge to appear on my account and I’ll deal with my bank. What a shady company.

Will not refund. Signed up and paid for two events for three people. One event in March and the other one in November. March event got canceled, so they put it towards the same exact event in November. Now I’m double booked and paid for the same event. I tried contacting them, but nothing worked to get a refund from the canceled event. I would just be cautious when purchasing from this app or website..

I would definitely recommend. The app overall is great for finding races nearby, or in other cities you wish to run in. My only complaints are the virtual runs that are listed as actual races-they should remain in the virtual category. Also, I wish it included all races in that area, aside from those registered with Active. I'll go through the app and then go on another website to see which ones are not listed. It would be easier if it was all in one place

Useless. Can't change location to Australia...

Hopeless. No good for Australia. Worst App to be directed to when it doesn't even serve its purpose. Really annoying

Almost useless. This App has far less functionality than the website, takes far too long to load events and when it does there is very little info about the event. There is no way to manage a team entry like there is on the website either. Save your time and just use the website.

Not so functional in Aus. A give were quick to respond to my email on the issues of location. Do appreciate that the app is available in Australia, even though not fully operational, only US locations, and add to calendar button has incorrect time zone for event. But it stores my ticket.

Clunky and no good for Aus.. Very clunky to use and not able to locate events in Australia. Metrics are designed for USA. Surely they could invest in an Australia applicable platform!!

App is Rubbish sorry. Simply this app should default to the location and relevant geographical area set in your profile. It doesn’t ! It’s messy and even when entering your country it cannot find the continent your on. I gave up using this before and will not attempt again. Definitely questioning value and purpose of membership.

Totally not user friendly. This app is so not user friendly in any way. I have been using it to enter events for a number of years now & have always had the same crappy result - total frustration. Apparently it’s due to my location being in Australia but I think it’s just the app is crappy itself

Needs a lot of work. Terrible app.. Buggy and location does not work for Australia.

No good for Australia. Ipswich Trail series Active give wrong date say 7th Feb as website say 5th Feb the right date and wrong on the app not pleased and trying to set location to Australia it only use the America. Rate it as one very poor site.

Useless. App won't let me add my location(not even country). I don't want to know what is happening in California because I'm in Australia!.

Useless. Doesn't load half the time. When it does there's almost zero functionality. Don't bother using your bandwidth!

Incredible.... ... how AWFUL this is. I downloaded this app for training plans/programs. I typed this into the search box for articles and not ONCE did it narrow the number of articles found. I had the app less than 15 minutes! Oh and I bet it’s still useless in Australia too.

Overwhelmed. Too complex, far to many options and really difficult to navigate

Poor functionality. Why would you have a results button for a completed event (which is listed in your profile) and then when you click on it you have to search for the event? Poor

Useless App. Can't do anything on the app except view the current event you're registered for. There's no option to modify the event, see who's on the team, make payments, send email or register other participants.

Complete waste of time. Doesn't work. Wants to make me pay $200 'registration' fee again to order a swim suit for my daughter for her swim club.

Need to fix a few flaws. This could be a great app- it has all the concepts right, solid groupings of information and interesting documents and studies to be read Where the app falls short, is that there is no way to actually read the documents in full - instead you are presented with the first paragraph or two with no ability to scroll down and finish reading the note/article- I suspect that the developers have no idea of the flaws. - if fixed I would rate the app a 5 Star

Failed to find my upcoming events. I can find using website but the app displays error message again and again

Doesn't work in Canada. Would be helpful to prioritize events by proximity to your location. Doesn't seem to work for Canada

Crappy at best. When you go to the website it says “get the app” Honestly. It’s a fricken waste of time. They don’t mesh. The information on one isn’t on the other. I can’t look at my group on the app and really I’m more frustrated then not. For something that is supposed to save me time and help organize. I feel like I’ve lost time and now I’m just confused. I hope this doesn’t reflect the updated vision of the mudder series.

Events not updating. I can see my event in the web browser but not in the app. Sooooo app useless.

Worst App and site ever. I hate this app and the site. Half my events don’t come up and navigating the site and app is a nightmare. I really hope I don’t have to use this in the future. Worst thing ever. I have talked to one nice lady live with the company but then had to deal with two people that had no interest in helping me what’s so ever.

Complete garbage. Does not bring any information from the site over with your login. Don’t waste the data downloading this absolute garbage app.

Searching for events outside of your area are like pulling teeth. The Active app and website has never had a good search feature. It try’s to keep you close to home. Ugh! I.travel on holidays and want to race but miss opportunities that I have to find through other search engines. Give me flexibility and stop trying to think for me.

Enrolled without my knowledge. Never interested in joining. Used the site to enroll in my kids programs and school. Somehow they have been charging me for 2 years to this advantage program that I wasn't aware of!

Great App!. If you are familiar with Active, this app falls right in line with the other products. I love it. It’s kind of a one stop that you need.

Not great. The filters do not do a good job. Stored cards are charged money randomly without the card owners permission and customer service is seriously lacking. Best part, all of the information on this app can be gained through google and races can be registered for in ways that don’t cause phantom charges to your cards.

Garbage app!! Where are my events???. This app doesn’t show the same data as the website. Even logged into my account I don’t see all the events I’m already registered for but I do see them on the website.

Clunky and expensive. Not much here- no decent reports, they’re ugly and depending on your camp set up you may need to run them to excel to sort. It’s clunky to move around in, poorly designed and expensive. Written in some old language - needs a thorough revamp

Always an issue. I’m always having an issue with this app it’s absolutely horrible. The other apps like Athlinks or Its Your Race never have an issue publishing the results like this app does. It does find a lot of events ...but what’s the point in participating in them if this app or even website won’t or can’t publish the results

Needs transaction history option. User friendly but taking of 3 stars because there is no visibility to transaction history. I signed up for a race through ACTIVE that the app has no record of. Really frustrating.

Love it! My new best friend for events in my area.. I am moving to Maui in October of this year and wasn’t sure of the running events there. This app will help me find running, swimming, biking and Tri’s on the island. Super stoked!

Glitches. App glitches when scrolling sometimes. I have to restart the app. It would stutter while scrolling.

Events not synced.. After emailing support I have found out the app will not show all of my events unless it’s registered using some A3 data. And they recommended me to just the use the PC site. So yeah 1 star for the app not being helpful at all. Only 1 out of the 4 races I’m registered is on the app.

Missing parts. Ive read some interesting articles but they dont download completely, I have to go look for them in the web version.

Fun but annoying. The articles I can fully access are full of great knowledge, but it can frustrating when certain articles I’m interested in don’t fully load. Which is most of them.

Cool. Just stared using the app trying to find local fun things for me and my kids to do so far it been perfect

Need better filters. I don’t seem to find anything other events for kids. I hoped to find rides I could register for but the app doesn’t seem to be the best place to find them. I registered for a ride in Colorado and seem to be on mailing lists which is more useful I guess.

So helpful.... This app has helped me stay on top of my events as well as kept me informed on upcoming events. Love it.

Awful!!. Tough Mudder switched from Eventbrite to Active this year (wish they hadn’t). Transferring everything was very frustrating. Even once I was able to, this app doesn’t show my event, even though the regular website does. It’s like it’s not synced up.

Poor screening of events. I downloaded the app. I opened the app. I reviewed the events. I deleted the app. The vast majority of the events listed as “nerar me” on the app were from some textile school in Brooklyn NY. None of the events on the website were in the app. If they can’t do a better job of screening events for the app I can’t be bothered to use their app.

Not functional. Glitchy, filter options slightly better than web version (but not much), but the big issue is the text boxes regularly won’t work, especially if I’m registering another person. So frustrating.

iPhone Plus is not supported. iPhone Plus (5.5” screen) has been around for a few years now but this app still doesn’t support it. Everything looks blurry in a zoom mode.

Doesn’t Work. Use to work for me, in current location of AK. Now it won’t register any events even though I know there are many events here.

Goes down constantly. This is the worst app ever. I sign constantly to races of all kinda and this site and app are the worst. Their platform is weak and goes down constantly. The worst of all is that I have no choice that keep using it since most races in Miami use their platform.

Great UIX but.... I signed up with the Experience app for a race, ran the race. then got this app and it let me log in with the same creds I used in the other app. This app says I haven’t participated in any races... pretty sure my feet beg to differ.

Great intent, but very glitchy. The app simple needs more refinement. The filter function glitches and it is difficult to search for a specified type of run(ie half marathons in a 20 mile radius).

Could be better. Once I downloaded I immediately saw that it was still made for 4 inch screens like iPhone 6 or so. App needs to be updated for X and Max etc.

Cool App I use it a lot. I use this app to find coming up Gran Fondo’s and other fun events

Poorly designed and useless app. Got this app to check on registration of a race. Links go to nowhere and will even redirect to download the app you’re currently using. I don’t write reviews often and it’s a “free” app. But don’t waste the bandwidth it takes to download it.

It okay. Would be great if it showed all future rides, not just rides that are one month later.

Shady. I signed up for a race that used active. Unknowingly signing up for a free trial as well. Was charged $89 for a year membership. I’ve emailed and have no other way of contact, no responds. And still don’t even see a place to cancel my membership

App does not store registration.. I registered for a race online and got the app to more easily access my registration from my phone. The app did not show my registered race at all. If you’re getting this app to track activities you already registered, don’t waste your time.

Password. I created a new account and each time I try to sign in I receive an error message about my password and have to create another one.

Failed to retrieve events. It read Failed to retrieve events when I would like to check my next marathon.

Outdated app. This app looks and functions as if it has not been updated since the 90’s. Functionality is limited. I had to go to the race web site to get full information about the race.

Need more searching options. I’d like to find “running” events, period; not just “marathon” or “half marathon”. I would also be nice to view ALL events in my location.

Needs to be improved. I love this app as it contains a lot of useful information but I wish the developers considered to add iPhone XS Max screen size.

Going downhill. App no longer lets you see your up coming events and you can’t contact customer support. Seems to be going downhill.

Love it. This app is very convenient for my husband and I to quickly find 5Ks, 10Ks, etc.

Accout. I have enrolled in a race and I am not able to add it into my profile. It would be nice to be able to add a race that I bought on the website to the app to keep track and get details.

Easy to use. This application is easy to use and provides great details except the time for some of the races. I signed up for a race and there is no time attached to the details.

Not so satisfied. Every time I open the app all my saved info is not there and my name says null null. It’s so frustrating and it makes me wonder if my personal information is just floating out there or something. And if I want to sign up for a run is it going to go through or not?

Doesn’t show past race results. Your app doesn’t show race results on past events. No information is also available on the current event that i purchased.

Problem with reading articles. I am interested in reading the cycling articles in the app but when I try to read them it just shows the introductory paragraphs and not the context of the article. Very frustrating

It works !!. I go here for a quick easy find for any event. I register here. It’s great.

Bad customer service. Lost my confirmation for an event and never got back to me after emailing them over a week ago
