💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

A Different POV. Let me start by saying Yelp is good platform when it’s from a customers point of view, the user interface is great but when you’re the business side, it’s a whole ‘nother story. I personally have the Nearby Jobs feature active. This means when there’s a request for my line of work, I’ll get notified, not hired, just notified. So it’s ok, there’s multiple businesses trying to earn the customers bid. We as businesses don’t get charged to quote, we get charged if customers respond back. Now normally it’s ok if the customer wants to ask a few questions before hiring or going elsewhere. Customers here respond with 2 letters on average, NO, and that is all it takes for Yelp to charge you, a small business $20 to $50 for the ‘conversation’. That’s not fair, it’s like going to a retail store, going to the cashier, I don’t want it, and somehow the property owner charges the cashier for interacting with the customer. The cashier didn’t do any business, all they did was informed of their pricing and the customer says no, that’s good enough to charge the cashier. Same here, Yelp will charge as long as the customer responds back, they offer refunds but you have to explain why, and at their discretion they will approve or decline the refund. Imagine 5 customers reaching out to you and then not choosing your service, you just lost $100 without even making a dollar.

The good feet store Long Beach Towne center. I have been having problems with circulation in my right leg. Also foot pain. Also hip and back pain. I was advised to wear compression socks By my Dr. The pain on my right side made it difficult to walk. I had been wearing an expensive name brand sandal but my discomfort increased. I take care of my invalid husband and feared I could not do it anymore. I decided to try The Good Feet Store. I cannot say enough good about my wonderful experience there. Maggie was the sales person I had. She was excellent!!!! Explaining the orthotics and how they work. The response Of my body to the change in my shoe support happened so immediately. I was amazed, shocked, wondered how my body could actually register a noticeable difference so quickly…. But it definitely did!!! As I left the store I held back my tears. I wasn’t completely without some pain but I could tell I was going to be feeling so much better. Maggie did follow up calls with me on the phone. I returned to the store for my next arch Support for leisure home wear, slippers. She installed the Velcro points and continued explaining the philosophy behind the product. I have never written on Yelp about anything But this is so important to tell others who have difficulty walking ! The solution can be the orthotics. It sure was for me! Thank you Good Feet Store and Thank you Maggie. I still can hardly believe the immediate change for me. I am thanking God for this!

It helps but poor concept for reviews. Well I agree Yelp for business definitely helps to run any business but when a new user who wants to review a business but don’t have any friends (let’s be real, how many of us have friends in Yelp) pushes the review to unrecommended. Even the legit reviews are not visible. That is even understandable as it’s a software doing it. I reached out to Customer representatives and I was able to get hold of one and was telling her the issue and she says it’s the software and all of the sudden the chat was blank and unable to reach any customer reps over chat for 2 days. How is that they are all busy all the time and couldn’t even get one rep even if I waited in the chat for very long. Also, you wouldn’t know if the lead comes only to you or it is been sent to others and you are getting it as well! It’s not clear. Would be great to show a way to know if it’s direct lead or opportunities that was sent to others as well. Unable to filter with confirmed job or not hired. Unable to archive messages. Unable to attach more than 5 pics in chat with customers. Not showing the status of the lead if it’s hired or not, even though it asks for it. Could improve more user friendly.

Yelp business. We are a cleaning company which decides to use Yelp platform for advertising, from the moment we signed up with them a costumer success manager was assigned to us which she called once and never heard from her for months, the way the account was set up was totally wrong, we would receive leads from costumer for services we don’t provide like carpet cleaning , windows exterior, rags and upholstery cleaning, even though these type of service weren’t added into our account but still were unable to remove them after serveral times we tried to, called a lot of times the costumer success and their answer was oh we can’t do that because it’s from the free listing request. Reviews were removed due to a software that doesn’t recommend reviews even though the costumer who hired us wanted to review us. On top of that 75% of the costumer who would contact us were fake , same name same address different leads. And the 25% was from the other companies asking how we are doing with Yelp and selling their services, very bad experience, thousands of dollars spent for nothing. Stay away from them.

Run Away!!! This rating is really negative infinity stars!. Yelp as well as their “Biz” app is just as horrible as all of the reviews say. They steal reviews, claim to have some algorithm that can tell real reviews from fake ones, but customers who leave multiple reviews on Yelp are listed as “not recommended” and hidden as well as overall rating affected if you do not advertise with them. It’s so obvious they lie because my one and only negative review was from a customer out of state and has only ever left one review (who goes out of state for 3D4D ultrasound of their baby?) Nice try Yelp! But explain why that review is still up, yet 80% of the rest of our (all 5 star reviews) are from real customers who have left numerous reviews, but those are in the “not recommended” section. If you are even thinking about getting involved with Yelp, I would strongly encourage you watch the documentary “Billion Dollar Bully” first. It’s time for Small businesses to organize another class Action lawsuit now that we have more proof! I will be throwing a huge party when Yelp finally goes out of business! Wonder how they have 4 stars on this review of their app? I can’t find a review here that is more than one star.

Run away from this company!. This company chargers you per click , anyone can click your ad and you will be charged each time it is clicked. They claim they have a fraud protection to avoid competitors from clicking your ad but they have no way of proving or showing their “protection”. Be prepared to have your “client success manager” pressure you to raise your ad budget every so often... These client success managers make more commission when you spend more on ads. The leads aren’t even that good you get a lot of people who don’t respond , seems like yelp has people going to your ads page and filling out the contact form with false info so your account gets charged and their client success managers get paid... On top of all this they nickel and dime you for everything. If you want to hide your competitors ads you pay, if you want to showcase your license and certifications on your page you pay, if you want to add a slideshow to your page you pay, if you want to highlight certain things about your business you pay... all they want is your money they don’t care about your results that’s why they charge you for clicks not for results or qualified leads..

Don’t use yelp business. I highly recommend not using yelp business if you’re a new business owner I’ve gotten five reviews that they took it down and I put in almost 70 hours of work and the customers gave me great feedback five star reviews that I’m not allowed for whatever reason to have up because of yelps “automatic system” putting my reviews in so-called not recommended section which makes no sense I did not ask for these reviews they are not bots the customers were genuinely happy with my work and left me a great review if I could leave zero stars I would needs to fix this feature it’s disgusting and not OK and hurts new business owners tremendously meanwhile paying for a subscription and trying to use Yelp for exactly what it’s intended for reviews and they play it off like yelp is meant for ads and things of this nature when everyone knows yelp is meant to see reviews and customer feedback again I highly recommend NOT NOT NOT USING YELP BUSINESS!

High Hopes !. I’m taking yelp out for a test run to see exactly what it is it’s all about. After going with the nurse said other companies that use leads and customer service as their expertise to bring you more work more opportunity and more people to you through via Internet and paying through the nose for leads that 1 million other people get to first that may not even get looked at by me or have already been accomplished and them not doing their part by clicking hired somebody. We’ve all been there if we use apps like this. So far very happy with the YELP and have only been using them for a week as of November 13 but I spoke with customer service about a few things that I had on my mind and they were excellent with the help and it looks like the system that I’ve got in place will tell you just how your doing. I love how they have a budget to set up and they don’t call you and bother you with all these promises to give you. It looks like everything that sit out there mathematically they will show you through graphs or other means to keep you informed at what it is exactly that your business is doing. So far so good thank you yelp

Not Worth The Time Or Money.. I’ve honestly only had my page active for Yelp for only a week. 7 days that’s it. In those 7 days, I have gotten someone claiming that I worked on their house which I did not do, numerous scam calls trying to get my information and get me to transfer to Google, and when I asked on average how many jobs would I receive, I was told a minimum of 10. No one has messaged me for a job. And now I am in a situation where scammers are calling and texting my phone non-stop and I have an over $150 charge that I am going to reluctantly have to pay. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. As a small business owner and a family man I deserve better than this. UPDATE: So to even get your business name off of Yelp, you have to shut down your business and delete all other social media of your business. Pretty much if you cancel on Yelp, Yelp goes out of there way to make it near impossible to have a web presence afterwards. Why? How is that even a legal business practice? Got it cancelled. Was told that would be charged on the 1st for the week however it’s in 2 separate billing cycles?? So I’m getting charged 5 days in one and 2 days in another. Only to figure out that I got charged today! It is the 23rd! All in all I’m happy I got out of this financial death trap! Also I AM NOT GOING TO GOOGLE ADS. This way other users will know this review is coming from a an actual person, who dealt with firsthand experience.

WORST app for new users EVER. Poor customer/business service. Every review you get they will shut down unless the person /client that is giving you a review has tons of previous reviews. Every other day they will turn off your messages so even tho you are paying lots of money to keep your business running and getting leads you won’t be able because for some reason they turned off your messages and if you don’t check every day you won’t notice. Called multiple times to fix it and after the fifth time I was so mad and ask for my money back and they came in with a solution of $300 in credit that I was using and when I checked my bill they were charging me double and some days triple for the same service. So if they give you credit trust me they will have this money back and if you don’t check again you won’t notice. What I know now is that I was paying more that I agreed with and was not getting leads to justify the amount I was paying for. Also lots of scammers calling you through yelp page which you are paying for each call to yelp! Literally a way to throw your money on a river!

Rip off. Let’s start with the capabilities of the application which are less than perfect when trying to upload more than one image without having to pay for it. Then you have the charges for getting messages from people who’s supposedly are near you but they never answer when you message them back. Then when you want to cancel they tell you that you will still be charge even if you never open the app again unless you manually stop it. This predatory ways of doing business are pathetic for anyone who’s starting a business. I am lucky that I don’t need them or anyone for my business but decided to try them out and I will never use their systems ever again as I got NOTHING and they were charging one of our business accounts for NOTHING and when you call they respond quick but are instructed not to give you a refund. Truly a pathetic company and business model that will be their demise along with all the rest in the next 5 yrs.

Not good for small businesses.. I opened up my own yelp page for my business, I have been none stopped every single day called by a yelp employee wanting me to spend money marketing when I’ve only had the app maybe two weeks. I have an Instagram page with my yelp page in the bio so clients can submit reviews. As a business that just started out getting reviews is extremely crucial. I have two legit 5 star reviews and yelp removed them and said they were “unrecommended” if I choose as a business owner to not want certain reviews on my page I should be allowed to do that. They’ve ruined my experience and I want my reviews back on my page. No one wants to go to a business with no reviews. I do not want yelps help to put my business out there, I do not want yelp to remove or view my reviews because it’s hurting my business more than helping. If you’re a small business thinking of using yelp, I suggest Angie’s list or Google ads if you’re wanting to pay but if you want free I say stay to a Instagram and Facebook which is where I’ve gotten most of my business.

Do Not Use Yelp!!. Please be warned, Yelp will trick you into setting up your business on their platform. I was coerced into setting up my account and misled about how I would be charged. I told the rep I was not taking orders as I just started my business and wanted to get my website and other things in place first. They ensured me that was ok and that I wouldn’t be charged. I told them I wanted to post pone everything until I was ready and our subsequent follow up meeting was cancelled. Fast forward, I’m charged $100 dollars for something I didn’t know was still active. I contacted customer service and they blamed me for being misled. Terrible company, terrible customer service! Oh and if you ever set up your business on Yelp you can never remove it. Stay away! There are far superior directories out there! Also, just to show how terrible the ad service is (despite the fact I didn’t know it was active for a whole month) it didn’t bring any new customers in. Save your time, money, and mental health by avoiding Yelp.

Not Too Impressed. Watch Billion Dollar Billy documentary about Yelp and then you decide how you feel about Yelp and how they treat small business owners. I had 5.0 Stars for 6 years and promoted Yelp harder than anyone, at least 10,000+ people and clients I have referred to Yelp and have well over 600-1,000 pictures of work I have done for customers on yelp too. Yelp Calls me daily to try to get me to buy advertising, lies and says its $0.11 then tells me it comes out to thousands of dollars per month and doesn’t offer any advantage at all. Each time I say I’m not interested I get a mysterious bad review from someone who is not a customer, so I can’t even say I’m not interested or they make up stories and put them on your business listings. Then when I complained to Yelp about it, they started filtering out my last sixty 5 Star reviews and continue to filter out 99% of all customer reviews for the last 2 years too. The App also constantly says you have mail, sometime 1-10 messages but when you click on the app there is no messages, even resetting app or resetting I phone doesn’t fix the ongoing problems with Yelp. Yelp feels to me and countless other businesses like a big “Billion Dollar Bully” just like the filmed documentaries about Yelp and how they treat small businesses.

Bad business. They call you constantly to pay for ads, and are really rude. My boss owns a small business, when I spoke to a rep and told him I can’t make business decision he still wasted my time on his spiff. Then I had customers to attend to, and told him I was busy. Did he care nope still kept in talking! My boss came back and customers were waiting why? Because I was busy talking to a yelp rep, that would not stop with telling me about yelp. Bad business for small business people. I decided to give yep a try.. Sales representatives promised me the world and when I asked how much he could not give me a answer. Said he will contact me before I get billed. I have a number to contact him with but always get a voice mail. Yelp don’t want to cancel my account. Careful when you place you credit card on file. Once you do that it’s over, you agree to pay what ever they bill you. I had to cancel my credit card to stop the payment. I got som much runaround just to cancel my account I decided to just go to my bank. That was way faster. Thank you Yelp for making my business harder. Never Yelp agin!! Google it!!

Terrible platform. I am a new business owner that has recently listed my business on yelp this is my experience. I was harassed by the yelp business team to pay for adds for a week straight they do not take no for a answer. After getting passed that tedious process yelp business offers. I started to notice all my reviews are getting taken down by yelp. Now my business has no reviews and I’ve been harassed by yelp business team. Yelp business has no good faith for small/local business owners who don’t pay for ads. This should be a mutually beneficial relationship business list on yelp and by that the business bring more traffic to yelp vice versa along with other things. Now to top it all off I decide to call yelp customer service I have now been waiting for a representative for about 2 hours I guess Yelp understands what they are doing and would not like to take my call. If you are a business owner I would recommend to look elsewhere to list your business or advertise it in general.

Worst app EVER!. This app is the most ridiculous app EVER! I have a small business and recently joined yelp to boost my business. Have had very little business generated from it and when I do get the job yelp suppresses my reviews saying they have been flagged as fake! THESE ARE ACUTAL CLIENTS WHO HAD GENUINE REVIEWS AND YELP TOOK THEM DOWN! Now explain to me why google and Facebook have no issues leaving my raving reviews up and yelp takes them down! I’ll tell you why…cuz I refuse to give them money to boost my page. Tried it once with the $300 credit they give you when you sign up and cancelled it before I reached the $300 mark so I wouldn’t get charged. None of the interactions lead to work and they turned my ad back on and ended up costing me $90! Disputed it with my credit add company and was not given the money back. Had to cancel my credit card and ever since then they take my reviews down within days of them being posted. Strongly urge if you are a small business steer clear of yelp!

Scam. Almost everybody is saying the same thing I’m about to say about this company. Scammers they kept calling me to advertise on yelp they told me they will give me a $900 credit. A few days later I check my bank account they charge my credit card when I called them no straight answer they don’t know what they talking about and they refused to give a refund and I still see the $900 credit in the account. It’s not worth it I haven’t got a single customer from yelp. The salesman who is calling me and convince me to advertise I called him multiple times and left him voice mail you never got back with me that wasn’t the case before I start advertising with them as soon as I called them you’ll pick up the phone right away or call me back no more than an hour later. I’m not surprised about this company I already know they are scammers but I wanted to give it a shot if you haven’t watched the movie about yelp how they scam businesses please watch it before you do anything with yelp

Yelp is Terrible . Poor Business App . Poor user experience . Poor customer service. Yelp Biz is by far the worst app I’ve used for my business. Horrible user experience. They literally keep changing my main location from Duluth to Cloquet. They have done this 10 times and I always have to edit it. Also every time someone writes a 5 star review the review doesn’t show up. Every single one goes into the “un-recommended review” section way at the bottom of the page, even though the customers contact me through Yelp and message each other and mark job complete on Yelp. They are absolutely worthless when it comes to customer service as well as I have had a few Yelp agents call me to try getting me to pay them and I try getting them to help with my Yelp problems and they say “sorry there’s nothing we can do it’s an algorithm” Well then change the Algorithm obviously it’s terrible-read the other reviews! This happens to most companies and they never help anyone with the problem. Yelp Biz is for the birds… or people that like to waste time and money.

Buyer beware. I use yelp as a photographer in hope of generating leads. Heres the most annoying thing. People ask for a quote: you pay 5$ a day just to respond. Okay fine. BUT they charge you on the first of the month for every day using this. And the way the billing is laid out is very sneaky. I had thought I had deleted the promotion since it said “owe zero dollars” and “no active promotions” but nope it was way at the bottom underneath everything and your card info is “active products”. So by the 1st of the month I got charged 96$. I had only gotten one lead and that cut it in half. They know what they are doing by the way they charge and the lack of integrity is why I will be focusing on google and other services. The only way i’d consider using yelp is if they refunded that b.s. number and started being more transparent. OH DID I MENTION THEY CALLED ME 50 TIMES SINCE I MADE THIS ACCOUNT?! When I said I didn’t want their promotions they would call again and switch numbers.

Read befor spending money to grow your business. I can tell you right now that it is almost impossible to start growing your business with this yelp they expect you to do all the hard work and yet pay them all the money in the world to promote your business and they are a pay per click so for instants if you are a contractor a plumber or anything in the field of services they will promote you the same as Google adverts or campaign you’re better off spending your money running campaigns on Facebook Instagram Twitter and Google because they will charge you thousands of dollars for impressionsAnd out of 30,000 impressions I had five clicks and no phone calls in two months paying over $2500 tell me how does that make sense yet being a new customer on there platform they do not allow previous customers to leave reviews they want you to get new work and reviews from those customers so how is it possible to gain traction or new customersWhen you start off with a zero reading with no reviewsClearly they’re going to just pick the person with 100 reviews or 10 reviews if that makes sense this was a complete bust however it is a decent platform to list your company information run promotions campaigns

Disappointed. When I decided to sign up with yelp for business I thought I could trust they wouldn’t charge my card for more than what I could afford as far as my per per click agreement with them. Suddenly I was surprised with this huge amount on my credit card. And when trying to call them, I always had to wait for over 30 min to get someone to talk to me, but always had to give up, because I could no longer wait anymore. I tried 3 days in a row. I did received more leads than before, but not close enough to cover the amount that they surprisingly charged me on my card without my permission. I went ahead and changed my contract back to $5.00 a day and it will remain this way, since I can’t talk to this company. It stinks to me as a company looking for scamming costumers and not helping them. Their loss, because if they were go way everyone would invest much more on them.

Billion Dollar Bully. I didn’t want to believe that such a big company would actually live up to its description on a documentary that seemed like it was out to get them. But fortunately for the documentary “Billion Dollar Bully” it’s true! They claim businesses who pay to advertise and those who don’t receive the same treatment however this is easily debunked when they attempt to “extort” money from you and you decline. Day 1: I opened the account, 2 reviews are placed by customers Day 2: Representative attempts to call me to “talk about my account” I decline. Day 3: 3rd customer review placed on the spot does not show up Day 4: representative puts more pressure into calling me to “talk more about it” Day 5: 1 posted review disappears and representative claims all this is happening due to their algorithm weeding out the “fake reviews” Really? Because I bust my bottom to get good reviews and the algorithm just decides they’re fake. Read more reviews here and you’ll see I’m one of many. Try Google reviews, they haven’t got caught or accused of any shady malpractices. Also an automated generic response is placed after every complaint. Maybe it’s their algorithm doing the responding too. Luckily this isn’t Yelp or the “algorithm” would flag me as fake.

Poor review resolution. You seem to throw a blanket over review disputes and favor frequent reviewers (that often are completely besides themselves by things most don’t give a second thought to) and you offer little weight to real customers that go out of their way to write a review. You minimize infrequent reviewers when in reality, when you stimulate someone who often does not engage with review platforms and get a 5 star review, the business getting that review is doing pretty well to get that person to take action. Yet, Yelp minimizes their action and won’t recommend…all that ensure is that the individual writing the positive review won’t visit your platform again if they wish to share a review. It’s a mend-bending approach but Yelp continues to ride it while the wheels fall off. Bottom line is the way Yelp is set up, it doesn’t give an accurate portrayal of a business standing it actually distorts it and caters to negative review writers who seem to only gather the slight fill of daily joy from being dishonest and harmful. Anonymous posters? …don’t even have time to get into that one. Much is left to be desired Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Scammers!. Horrible experience with yelp. As soon as I registered my business I got a call from the manager offering a $900 promotion for promotion. I explained that I was new to the usa and didn't speak English well. I asked several times if I had to pay my money? She said no and persistently offered to run the promotion right away. During the conversation she suggested I enter my card details in the app. I asked again for what purpose and do I have to pay anything? She didn't explain the essence of the promotion and took advantage of the fact that I don't speak English well and didn't offer to read the detailed information in the letter or on the website first. I ended up being charged $108. I wrote a complaint to yelp. They replied that I should have familiarized myself with the promotion. Sounds logical to me. If only the manager hadn't pressured me in the phone call and given me time to calmly familiarize myself with the details on my own. My language skills would have been enough to understand the essence of the promotion if she had really explained it. To questions about spending my money she answered directly and one-syllable "no!". I believe the company employee is a fraud and the company itself encourages such actions. By the way the result of promotion I did not get. And 108$ I would very much now would not hurt to pay for housing and food. It is disgusting that the company profits from immigrants.

Don’t waste your time. I had a friend of time inform me that Yelp has been very successful for him so I decided to try it out for my garage door repair business. I had a customer find me and reach out via message (on Yelp) and it turned into a sale. She then proceeded to write me a 5 star review. Yelp has records of every single interaction I had with this customer, from the initial contact, to closing the sale. They can also see the same customer write me a good review. Why then, did this customer’s review, along with 4 other glowing and legitimate reviews, get moved to the “not recommended” section? Every single review my company has received has been moved to “not recommended”. There is no way to escalate the issue or reach out to anyone. I’m just supposed to sit here and take it? What is even the point of customers writing me a review if I know it’s never going to be seen by anyone? They say it’s an algorithm designed to remove bot reviews but every single one of mine has very clearly not been a bot. Don’t waste your time or money with this company. Completely ridiculous to not even have an escalation method for their insane algorithm.

Love the demographic statistics, Dislike how 5 star reviews sometimes don’t get posted. A decent app for keeping track of demographics to improve target marketing. VERY dissatisfied with the fact that yelp decides (randomly) which reviews get posted. For example, some of my 5-star reviews are getting flagged as “not recommended reviews”. Especially when the customer has clicked on the “call to action” button to book an appointment. Not only do my good review(s) not get posted, I also take a loss of profit for discounting first time clients (since the customer(s) booked through the yelp ad, aka, “call to action” which I’m paying $20/day for!!! If a review is deemed “not recommended“ I certainly expect a reasonable explanation other than, “we have no control over which reviews get posted or not.” I was told by yelp support it’s a computer algorithm that decides which review(s)get approved/not approved.... That’s absurd.

They removed all my 5 star ⭐️ reviews. If you cancel your subscription with them, they will remove all your good photos and reviews to make sure you’re getting any views on your account. They will also keep recommending other businesses while someone else is on your page looking through your photos. When I use to pay them $575 a month, they had up all my great pictures and reviews, but the minute I cancelled my campaign with them, that’s when everything went from good to terrible 😢. The reason I had to cancel my campaign was because the campaign wasn’t paying for itself, customers were not coming, so it was a loss for me. I’m only but a small business owner and $575 can do a lot for me, so instead of paying yelp every month I decided to cancel it all together, because each time I had to call them pertaining that particular issue, they will tell me that people are viewing and clicking. I can not pay anyone just for clicks and views. They also block most of the functions so you’re not able to make changes to your account.

Over complicating the chat feature.. I’ve been using Yelp biz for over a year now and I just gotta say, I want to go back! The chat feature has not become easier to use over the year. I understand trying to optimize functions and make things faster but when it comes to messages that go directly to the clients I need to be able to send unique messages. It’s become so difficult to just simply reply with my own written message that it takes me double the time it used. The new message preview doesn’t display their original form entry correctly or hides it for some reason, I either have to expand it to see what they put, then have to choose from the list “need more information” only to be taken to a page with an empty message box and no info from the chat for me to reference. A messaging system doesn’t need 3-4 pages for me to go through everytime. Please allow us to disable all these features and buttons and questions and response options and let us just have the barebones chat back.

Complete waste of time. I'm a small business owner, a social worker. So many of my clients, for confidentiality reasons, don't want to leave reviews. And the few who did often start stuck as unrecommended. I just started telling clients when they ask if I'm on social media so they can leave a review not to bother. What's the point? I tried calling customer service about it and got a techno-babble non answer, and then the guy hung up without saying anything. Also almost all the requests I get are for things totally outside what I do, which is clear if you looked at my page even a little. I'm not sure why Yelp has me show up in searches for things like that. But if I don't respond my response time goes down and it looks bad for me. I even tried advertising for two months and again, absolutely all requests were for things I don't do. I've wasted so much time responding. As a small business these little things matter. Even a few reviews, especially for what I do, makes a difference. Yet Yelp seems determined to make it hard for me. I don't get it.

Zero stars if I could leave it!!!!. Yelp is a JOKE! I’m a small business owner, who just signed up with Yelp, two months ago. Since opening I have received a total of less than 10 reviews all from customers who have came in the store, met me personally, and made purchases. After consistently, checking my yelp page I started noticing my reviews were disappearing until finally one morning. I woke up and seen every single review had been removed from my page. I contacted Yelp to find out that it is apparently a software program that they use that makes decisions on when to remove reviews. When I spoke with the representative, she said that because I had two reviews in the same week, it looks suspicious so the software program removed it and for me not to take it personally but yelp employees have been calling me nonstop about paying for advertising, and I have kindly declined each and every time. I’m sure this has to do with it 100%. Yelp is definitely not for the business owners. They only want your money and they try to bully you by making your page look like no one has come on just to get you to buy back those reviews. What a scam.!!!

It’s unfortunate.... This company has so much potential to help not only consumers, businesses as well. This platform discourages businesses with costly packages and negative reinforcements. It completely hurts small businesses and the people who own them when not utilized for everyone to win. The apps are full of bugs and freeze no matter how new the device. It’s a shame really. I would like to for once feel good about working with Yelp as a business owner and consumer. This approach Yelp is gloomy, harbors complainers, hide/reject good reviews, emphasize poor reviews, crushes people’s livelihoods and dreams. Instead of constructive feedback to build people, they seek to destroy everyone’s day by not checking the accountability of reviewers or their own practices It’s time to reinvent yourselves and offer something more empowering to the world. Thank you for considering my comments. I would be willing to improve my review if Yelp decides to make a difference to help all rather than some.

TJ electric in Hopatcong NJ. Joe Howard is the owner of this establishment and is a very dishonest man in my opinion. Here is why! This guy pads a bill, does shabby work, actually doesn’t do work at all and then sends a bill for payment! He was brought into my home to do work! He made up his own job and billed me for it, never doing the work that he was hired for! Nor was the work he claimed he did ever done. I was also missing money after he left, I ask for it back and he never returned my calls or the money! As well as charging a service fee for a credit card, which I never paid with. I had gave him cash never using a credit card. I was smart enough to get a signed paid in full receipt or he would have claimed I never paid him. This man also harassed my wife none stop, begging for more money, when he never did any work! You would be foolish to hire such a man or business! There are better Electrition out there. I paid him out of fear for my wife’s safety. Always check some your thoroughly before you hire them this is what happens when you don’t.

Hate Yelp. Yelp is the worst thing to happen to small businesses. They promote a small part of the population that has nothing better to do than take down small businesses. They do not investigate reviews so competitors can trash your business anonymously. We have strangers that have never been to our establishment that have written reviews on our services that have never been provided to them, recommended by Yelp as a top review. Our customers that have been patronizing us for years are on the list of not recommended. While I’m struggling to survive Thru Covid and Cancer and I’m responsibly trying to keep 15 employees employed, Yelp should be ashamed for actively supporting bad reviews on our establishment of 17 years. We also give back to our local community by rescuing hundreds of dogs from high kill shelters so we are very philanthropic and have to be hurt by a handful of negative reviews from people who have never used our business. Thanks Yelp for making life harder than it already is.

Absolute garbage. I started a business that I dreamed about for years. Took a lot of planning and precious hours to get off the ground. I was so happy to help my customers and to offer them my experience and expertise. Yelp seemed like a logical next step. I’ve heard horror stories but like everyone I thought it would be different with me because I was doing everything by the book. The first problems started when I signed up for local jobs for $150 a month. As soon as you get notification that there’s a job it expires immediately. Finally I just got fed up and disconnected it. Guess what - as soon as the money was turned off I started getting notifications from local jobs that were over a day old and to see them I had to resume my subscription. Scam! No way! After helping countless customers I managed to get a few reviews and was very proud of them. Then a few days later one of the reviews disappeared. Then another, then all the rest followed. The only crappy review that remained is the one that Yelp decided to keep on my profile which totally killed my traffic. Thanks Yelp. I hope you go out of business. This business model is total disgrace and a scam and should be illegal. I looked other successful businesses that wanted nothing to do with Yelp and I applaud them. Bravo. I turned off their services and switched to Google AdWords and am very happy!

Yelp will rob your money. DO NOT give them your payment information.. To make it short: Yelp is not the platform you want to use for your paid marketing. Once they have your payment information, they will literally steal money from you. Their customer service representatives are trained to not help the customer but only make sales for Yelp. They prompted me to get 2 FREE months of a campaign whenever I tried canceling my ads, I decided to select the 2 FREE months and I was charged a lot of money 5 weeks later. Customer service could not help me, could not transfer me to a manager and wasted 40 minutes of my time on the phone with them with no resolution. If you want to give money away, donate to a charity and not these thieves. YELP should be ashamed of themselves. I repeat, no matter how nice of a sales person rings your business phone... and they will call you, DO NOT give them your payment information, do not accept anything they are giving FREE because it will not be free & they WILL steal from you. Don’t believe me? Read all the other thousands of 1 star ratings.

Customer reviews removed after discount given. Totally not cool, while we are working to help customers save some money by having them start a Yelp account to use a coupon. They leave us a review and some even do it after they leave our store only to have their review to be removed. I have sent messages, the Yelp platform is not created equal, does not have a place for a business to prove the customers we have and or their review is from them coming to our store. They do not have any chance for any corrections to the computer mistaking its problems of removing real customers, one where the customer has been a client of mine over years of me helping him. I have contracts for each client they removed, 4 so far, after giving discounts this website may not be the site I will send anyone to or ask my clients to start using. No one contacts me when there are issues with the Yelp platform. Really bad business to not want to let businesses prove or have any chance to even have Yelp contact the customers directly.

Meh. I have had Yelp Biz for a few years. I consider them a necessary evil in todays 'review culture'. The negatives are that they seem to give negative reviews higher priority over the positive ones. I had one case when someone actually did not use our services and just had a miscommunication about services provided through a phone call with a staff member. We cleared up the issue the same day with the caller but the review stayed up near the top for nearly 2 years. We have many positive reviews and comments that are in limbo/purgatory. IMO, the only positives I gather is their Yelp brand name which people trust for some reason, and perhaps the quality of the leads which tend to be better than other review sites. I have wanted to cancel Yelp Biz and ads so many times but we get just enough leads to justify the cost. As a relatively new small business trying to brand ourselves we need as many leads as we can get. Next BS negative review and I am out.

Extortion at its finest. This is ridiculous… I am a small business owner and they refuse to “recommend” any of my reviews from my PAYING CUSTOMERS! This is unacceptable and I am just about fed up with this crap. 7 reviews and none of them show… why are my customers being blackballed from their reviews showing when I have receipts and invoices for all the work done… here’s a tip, never use this app of even bother trying to use the ad service. I will not be paying for these ads because they are basically extorting money from me and delisting all my reviews so now no one calls or replies to messages. This is ridiculous, I called to ask why and they told me a computer decides what’s real and what’s not real… the employees at yelp do nothing to help but give you a runaround and tell you the “analytics” of your page… the freaking app tells me everything they told me on the phone why even bother with this just use google yelp is thieves and won’t be getting a dime from me.

Stay away!. If you are a business owner, the worst thing you can do for your credibility is get a Yelp account. For starters, we have 23 reviews total, all five star and 3 one star. They hid 14 of our five star ratings, so it shows our negative reviews first and brought our overall rating down to almost 3 stars from a 4.5 star rating because of so many hidden five star reviews. Their agents call and harass us almost daily to pay for their ads and if we agreed, they’d help out our ratings too. That sounds like a complete scam to me, and a super unfair to me as a business owner, to charge to show an honest business rating. We have friends who also have a Yelp business account and thought their advertisements would be beneficial and they’ve regret giving them their credit card ever since. It’s been a nightmare for them, so please do not pay for their ads or give them your bank info. Yelp is a company that caters to the customer, not to you as a business owner. Take my advice and stay with a free and honest company like google and Facebook.

Not very informative when signing up. When I signed up for the business page they sold me on their “Advertising and promotions”. The quick version is, I was told I would be charged $1 for each actual phone call I received from a potential customer. The reality is they charge you $1 for every “Page click and website visit”. You can see how that spirals out of control in a month before you get billed. When I called to tell them that I didn’t receive one booking from them and not one phone call but was charged over $200 in “Fee’s” they said “Oh, those were people that visited your website”, and refused to refund any money. The gentleman that signed me up oroginally, Tyler Byrd, never called me back to speak to me about it despite saying at the time of sale “If you have any questions or concerns just give me a shout I’m always here for you”. I spoke with another guy who just fluffed off my concerns. Moral of the story, I’ve spent about $300 between Facebook and IG promotions and have received dozens of bookings through that. To date I have still not received one booking from Yelp.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Vallejo. I would give it no stars if available. My daughter saved her own money ti go with a group of friends to Fright Fest last night. When the girls arrived at 6pm they were told the park had closed due to fights. My daughter then requested a refund for the ticket and was denied. She was told she could use the ticket at a later date. The girls all had to travel to get to the park. They had to coordinate and schedule. It is unlikely they will be able to just reschedule. I tried to call to get a refund and you can talk to nobody ever. So, as a business that caters to kids, you are telling me you can close a park due to a situation such as fighting and then deny refunds to the kids who are not fighting or doing anything and just waiting to get in? Sure close the park, keep people safe, but REFUND the poor kids who couldn’t go in for reasons they have nothing to do with. Poor business and moral decisions on the part of the management. I will be escalating my request for a refund.

What a nightmare. I listed my business on yelp and immediately started getting scammers CONSTANTLY calling me. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and changed my number. After a while I regretfully listed my new number thinking that since it had been a while maybe I wouldn’t have the same problem.. that was yesterday and I’m already getting the same scammers calling again and this time they tried to act like a customer and wanted to set up an appointment. I immediately knew what was going on and told them I wasn’t taking any appointment. After taking down a name, I asked if the number they were calling from was a good number and they said yes. After hanging up with them I tried calling the number.. and of course it’s not a working number. I call yelp and they refused to take my information down even though my listing was new and had no reviews, so they are not helping me with my very obvious safety concerns! I’ll be making a police report and also putting in how YELP evidently doesn’t care about the safety of their customers. Do not list with these people as they aren’t a safe company to advertise with.

Remove review all the time. I been start with yelp for 2 month, it was very hard to make customer happy and write the review for the bussiness, but you always remove all of them. i argree that some account look fake, but you have to know that, people search our bussiness on yelp, they click to call and direction come to the salon to get service, then they happy, write the review. your smart system know exactly, but why they remove? i hope Yelp fix your system more smarter, so Owner can excited to work with Yelp and bring yelp to more people. Some account with all full picture and long review, they even check in and upload a photo. how can you remove with your “not smart” system!??!!!! Yelp always remove good review. for example, you will remove all 10 good review, but only remove 1 bad review. i know automatic, BUT Your system was made AND SET UP By Human. so they will remove more good review than bad review.

Small business review. This app is a waste of money for any small business owners. I have had nothing but bad experiences using Yelp ads and wasted more money than I was making for too long. If you want anything besides having the name of your business and some pictures on your Yelp page they will charge you for it or have you sign up for the monthly payments for each addition and give you no updates on your total until they charge you. I’m a booth rent barber and I use multiple sources of advertisements and whenever I get someone new I ask them how they found me and throughout the past month I had no one tell me they found me from Yelp despite my Yelp ad and I was charged $285 🤷‍♂️ That’s after I updated my page posted current photos of my work. Before working at the shop I’m at currently I had a previous page that I started with Yelp credit that I got when I ordered business cards and it was all the same experience. Once the Yelp credit runs out they will begin adding up how much they will charge you at the end of the month with no notice. You are much better off using google ads, or promoting your work on Instagram or Facebook ads.

Yelp deleting good reviews. I have a business Yelp account and I’m paying for the services. I had 5 good reviews from clients that were contacted via Call to Action and hired our company. One day I only saw 3 reviews Yelp said 2 were not recommended so I called customer services and I was told it is a software managing the reviews and they can’t do anything about it so I express my intentions on closing my page and I was told that I can do what ever I want with it when ever I want to. This morning I logged in to my page and I see another review is showing as not recomendable so this is leaving me with 2 reviews only. I called again and they said not to worry about it because the two reviews I have are 5 stars and not affecting my rating, what they don’t get is that it does affect, personally if I’m looking at a business with 2 reviews and at a business with more reviews guess who will I call? So now Yelp will make me look fraudulent to the rest of the clients who will see 3 reviews as not recommended and they will think that I’m making fake reviews on my page. I’m so disappointed with Yelp.

Scam. This has been the worse experience I’ve ever had with an app. Once I created my account I revived a call from the yelp people begging me to make business with them. Explained multiple times I was 100% percent sure since I had to pay for leads. The called me everyday day multiples until I have in. They gave me a credit and told me that I didn’t have to worry about it. If I see the app want working for me I just have to call them before the credit runs out. Of course the app didn’t work for me just landed 2 clients in a month, made around 150 in total. I called the same guy who harassed me into becoming a member. This time he want nice at all he barely spoke to be an walked me through the steps in order to cancel the membership so I would get charged. I asked him multiple times if this was all I had to do and he in a bad mood said yes. 2 months later I received a charge for 71 and now a charge for 121. After 2 full months of not using yelp and after speaking a a representative to avoid of all of this. They are charging me for stuff I never used. Mostly import after speaking to somebody who walked me through the app and made sure I cancelled everything.

DO NOT INVEST IN A YELP BUSINESS PAGE. I started my business account about 3 1/2 months ago and the customer success representative guided me through the steps. They told me to invest in the $15 a month for my Yelp Ad. I gave them my information. They took out $36 on March 1st, and a few days ago they tried to take out $151 out of my account.(which my bank declined). I was extremely confused and deactivated my account right after I noticed this. I made sure to fully deactivate and DELETE all of my personal data. Today this transaction actually did go through! $151 out of my account and now I’m left with exactly $0. How is this possible when deleted all of my personal data. And why so much money in less than a month!!! Also I would like to add, soon after I made the Yelp Ad for my business, I kept receiving calls saying “Half of the clicks that you receive on your Yelp page are fake.” Everything about the Yelp Business app was very weird, noticing that I haven’t gotten 1 call or text, and hundreds of “views”. Definitely not worth it!!!

App works 75% of the time but Yelp doesn’t deserve my money. Yelp doesn’t deserve one penny of my advertising dollars. When you default every excuse to “because of our algorithm” - which is proprietary and built by you - is just a cop-out. If any customer takes the time to go to Yelp, create an account and leave a review then their experience should be worth something! By filtering out that person’s review Yelp has told them they are not worthy and their opinion and experience isn’t good enough. How do you expect to gain more users if you don’t let people start somewhere? And you’re punishing the businesses - who are PAYING YOUR BILLS in the process!! I will not spend one more cent on Yelp, since your “algorithm” decided to filter out all my positive reviews and leave the negative ones. I will deter everyone I possibly can to avoid Yelp both as a customer and a business. We should not have to spend thousands of dollars - with zero return on investment. I have not gotten any jobs from “we found you on Yelp”. They did find us on other sites and search engines - which don’t filter reviews and have a much more affordable (often free & organic) method for business advertising.

Yelp is trash. First, they hire the least professional college students to harass you for ad money. They can’t understand no. But all the proof that’s needed for me that Yelp is garbage is that my Google customers rate me 4.5/5 and the reviews that Yelp ALLOWS to show on the main page comes to a 2 star rating. Now google is way more popular so I have exponentially more reviews on google so I’m not the least bit worried about Yelp. In fact I find that Yelp attracts some of the most snobby, stuck up customers you’d hope to avoid. So I don’t know if the low rating (only a few visible reviews in total) is deterring potential Yelpers but I see it as a benefit. Please, take your ridiculous demands and snobby-ness to a different company. I’m doing great without you and google/word of mouth attracts the best, down to earth people who I’m happy to have as customers. Update: Thanks for your cookie cutter copy and paste response that doesn’t address any of my criticism. Very “Yelp” of you and just proves how little you care. Thanks for being a running joke around my office 😂.

Pointless App. This app is pointless... You can log in and all you can see is reviews and messages. You can't view or edit your profile.

Garbage. Hard to use. Can no activate account. Cannot be found by customers. Why not use Google Maps like everyone else?

Burgerfied. Easy to use great for Business 🍔

Yelp App. The app is user friendly and easy to navigate so I don’t have to mess around all day at my desk.

Can’t login with Google Account. As the title says, i’d like to experience the convenience of the app but I can’t since it won’t allow me to login with my Google account. It keeps on saying “A user account using [insert email] already exists. Please enter your password to continue”

Very disappointed. Listed my business over a month ago and it still doesn’t appear in search results in the page!

Easy to negotiate. Finding Yelp an easy product to negotiate & use. 5 stars from me. ⭐️.⭐️.⭐️.⭐️.⭐️.

Worst customer support. Calling every day asking same stupid questions

Scam company. No morality.. They removed legitimate reviews from my business page because I refused to sign up for their ads subscription. These are 5 stars reviews from my customers which are all now under - ‘Not Recommended’ section. I hope this company goes bankrupt. I only trust Google reviews now...

Yelp is a theft. Theire account executive, Andy Sandoval called me and sent me several emails to join to Yelp and get 3 months free membership and I figured out he was lying and the company lied and they charged $240 per month They are lier Do not create an account in Yelp You never find any customer I have a prove that all the reviews are fake People trade reviews here I have a Google account and the best way to advertise is google The Yelp is irresponsible company

Yelp , great help👍. Love yelp !

Unethical business practices. Would give a zero if I could. As a small business owner who dealt with Yelp, they will be out of business because they don’t help and extort

Great so far. So far great and no issues

Too expensive comparing to the leads provided.. In one month I almost got 30 useless leads and non of them responded after me providing the quote. Yelp charges too much per click or per day for a business.

February 2024 User be Warned. My experience with Yelp seemed more of a fraud and scam.. There are so many other bad reviews for Yelp. During the very first days of February 2024, I tried signing up on Yelp. During the process I was asked to provide my card information. That was a red flag for me, so I quit the process. A day or two later I got a call from a Yelp employee, who I must say was nice. He convinced me complete the sign-up. I asked him several times how their billing works and I fell for his con. I recently tried out Yelp and unfortunately, it seemed more of a fraud and scam. They charged me about C$200 for no value to me. Here are the details of my use: Spam Callers: Ever since I signed up, I got so many spam calls, sometimes up to 7 serial callers a day. Not a single business lead. Rip off: Their billing system isn’t clear and they charge you heftily for no value to you. It’s a con for life: Your business details will remain on their platform for ever and there is no way to take it down according to their “customer success” representative. I urge everyone to report and give bad reviews to Yelp to save other patrons who might fall for their scam. After seeing so many bad reviews I am considering a class action against Yelp.

Love it!. It’s helping my business get more exposure to the general public. I’m wishing that with time and patience, it’ll secure some potential tie-ins. Grateful for this platform. Thank you!

Worst application ever. Not a legit transparent system or algorithm for review placement and filtration.

Scam!!!. They gave me a free trial charged me for it , closed the account just charged me 100$ and now they still want more money after I had cancelled.. do not sign up with them !!!!

awful. app wouldn’t even open

they are scammers. these team of suckers rejecting my request of removing bad review that my ex employ gave me and even the picture on the review she stole it from trip advisor i have all the prove and still they say they share the experience with costumers lol they share fake information with costumers and i’ll tell you why: because you don’t pay for their advertisement! when they called me i said i don’t need your advertisement i do it myself on different websites that’s when they put you on black list and anything you ask it’s gonna be declined! now it has been 2 weeks already i’m trying to remove my business profile from yelp and guess what :) they didn’t approve my request so i’m stuck with it they want to keep my business profile without my permission and they don’t let me delete the account :) i opened up case i spoke with my lawyer and the case is in process. they are scammers and frauds they keep breaking their own policy law lol bunch of losers i don’t know how they find so many unprofessionals to work for yelp! see you guys at court 😉

Costly Mistake (Update. Even worse). I ended up paying over $200 for 0 leads and a ton of spam calls every day from scammers that took my number from Yelp asking if I had any luck yet. Big waste of money. I cancelled and they kept charging me money every month. No one has responded to my emails from months ago. They offered a $300 credit that I never got and charged me $75 shortly after. Ive been on hold today for 4 hours. Im trying to call again but still on hold. Absolutely pitiful service with 0 results for my business. Save yourself the headache.

J. Amazing help for small business

Good. Good

This app is not organic. Not a transparent app, the app is managed by a filtering software, the software supposed to help business owner from rambling customer but that’s not true, I have have 5 good reviews that aren’t recommended according to the software and one bad review wich shows in the app.

Nothing yet. So far 4 leads, but no responses. I was expecting to get working ASAP here but it’s taking longer as expected, hopefully we see changes soon!

Scam. They actively discourage your potential customer base by removing legitimate reviews claiming the customer didn’t fill out yelps customer form or haven’t made enough reviews, all things not of my doing nor my control these are yelps failures to secure a client not mine. They also just changed a lead from organic to ad claiming it was the ad when it was actually organic and I seen it displayed as organic until 2pm today when it was changed.. insanely dishonest don’t waste your time or money.

Thieves. I did inactive my account and still they charging my card and when I called they refuse to refund as what they have taken never refund and I very disappointed

Terrible support not user friendly. Dear business owners, Don’t use this app, other than hidden expenses and reoccurring payments you’ll get nothing from yelp business. If you try and remove your payment method to stop the hidden payments that you didn’t sign up for…. You can’t. The support will make you jump through hoops to get something done. Take my advice don’t use this app, save your sanity.

Completely misleading.. This is by far a terrible way to advertise. The cost was not what I was told, I have only 1 potential project, I cancelled but there appears to be another thing I have to cancel. The lack of help I received with my page was minimal.

Great and easy. Seems to be very easy to fallow the steps for staring and continuing

If you don’t pay you are nobody. Yelp is not a real guide, you got reviews and after you loose it. There are other players on the market which play fair . Not recommended at all as business !!

Yelp review. For the most part I really like Yelp business owner, when you sign up they don’t tell you straight forward how the payments are gonna happen they say at the end of each month but they ask for money every week and abit, without warning they take it out of your account and they don’t match the money it says you’ve spent for the month either, they also took away one of my customer reviews which is scandalous as getting a review from a paying customer is hard enough but when you finally get one you expect the company to be happy about it not take it down! But I have had a few contacts and calls and overall it’s been decent but they are the two main reasons it’s a 4 star and not a 5star

Terrible Rip off!!!. Just got off the phone with Joana V. at yelp customer service and find myself shocked at very poor customer service! It turns out that Yelp has been charging us $ 398 PER MONTH for services we have not signed up for over the past 16 months. The total bill for these services is $ 6,400 ~ an incredible amount for marketing services that we never signed up for. But the lack of understanding and not even taking a moment to try to figure out how this mistake happened is beyond belief. It looks like we have been paying for extravagant slideshows and advanced marketing tools ~ without ever seeing any of it or even getting any results from this. Be very careful with the online platform that are «self served» ~ and be vigilant about Yelps billing practices!

Convenient. Yelp is a convenient and reliable platform to both for customers and service providers to reach together.

Can’t find my business. Posted my business weeks ago and I can’t find it online. Google was like a feed days and it was up.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. 0 leads whatsoever

I haven’t even got the chance to experience if it’s good or not. I need more time

Easy to get set up!. Excellent! I definitely recommend this free service for all businesses, it’s very useful and super easy.

Getting scam calls. I am getting marketing sales calls every hour or two. I blocked 40 different numbers so far. The biggest mistake made in my life is registering my business here.

Painting. Did exactly how I wanted and looked much better staining my deck and fence!

Easy to use. Love this app very easy to use and update. Definitely a fun and easy interface which I really appreciate👏

Review. This is great to check all the things needed for my business! Very up to date

extortion. Yelp said if I didn’t pay them for ads no one would see my business. I had to block the sales guys phone number because he called me every day trying to coerce me. But also try to convince me how much everyone uses yelp so I should care that no one will see my business unless I pay them money for it. It’s an awful way to run a business. Very scammy and reeks of desperation

Worse thing you can do for your company. I registered with yelp and noticed that it’s not for me as they don’t keep any of their appointments, and refuse to serve their clients. I have asked to have my profile removed, but instead they restricted access and kept the page up with inaccurate information about my company and I am unable to change it personally. When asked them to remove it they claim that it’s “public information” when in fact this company is not public and nothing about it is public as it only exists to serve one company I don’t want to get into the details of why it’s there but it is not a public company and it does not serve or perform any sort of work to others

Don’t give payment information to them. They will lure you in with free credit than secretly charge you over the months.

Don’t use yelp. I signed up for a free trial of yelp business and canceled it before the bill was due, and then the bill still went through. Called the customer support and they did nothing for me, bad service, do not put a cent into yelp.

Worst platform ever. Yelp pulls down legitimate reviews on your business unless you pay for monthly visibility. Go ahead and argue it is not what I know but what I can prove and I have screenshots of pulled reviews. This month, after being visible since 9/22/2021 they pulled a 5* review!!! Why??? Oh, I know why 👉 so, I paid one time on a supposed deal to max at $300 and this company charged my $900. I have had over 20 5* reviews pulled down by Yelp, all were legitimate unsolicited and genuine. Yelp refuses to address and just says their "secret algorithim" does it automatically without human interaction and they can not override the program. If you are conmsidering Yelp, be prepared to spend $600-$900/month for nothing.

Yelp is great and helps us get found. Yelp is a terrific resource for all businesses and is easily found on google and has good SEO .

Well customer platforms. Easy exploring customer bast platform

Flooring and Renovation. Really great service and on time team customer service really great

Scam. I signed up for a simple business account for more exposure, not intending to pay for anything. Then they call me to help me finish setting up and use the credit offered for some free advertising. I made sure to ask multiple times that I wouldn’t be charged. That was last week. Today I was charged $124, only $8 of the credit has been used and after an hour on hold I got no where.

Excellent App. Very helpful! Friendly interaction surface!

Flooring and glass railing project. This company they did awesome job and they are very responsible person and they do everything in schedule. If I have any more project on future definitely I gave to this company. And I mentioned to everyone if they have anything in your house to fix this company, they can do everything. fixed with high-quality job.

Horrible app. They make it seem so wonderful until you start to use it. It only benefits the people who pay outrageous amounts for the app. I had two reviews on there and yelp took them both down and then 2 weeks later decided to put them back up. I’ve been on yelp for 2 months now and in that time I’ve gotten more work from advertising on Facebook. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Very good una compañía que da buen servicio a todos sus clientes. Very good

Scam. They just keep billing me, even after I cancelled the services!!!My mistake was choosing them before reading their poor reviews!!!

Scam. Yelp for business is another business marketing scam. All it does is drain your money and expose your number to 1000s of spam phone calls.

This app only supports negative reviews. I have 16 reviews from real clients that are hidden so I’ve stayed at 0 stars… basically keeping me invisible to everyone who searches for work in my area(literally the selling point of this outdated app) I have a feeling this company purposefully does this to try and sell their ridiculously expensive add space. I’m a small business owner and all of my reviews are personal since my clients spend so much time with me they end up becoming friends. If they love their experience and my wok, Why should they not be able to leave a 5 star review without it being considered “biased”…. I don’t think I’ve ever had an unhappy customer because I go the extra mile. This app is a dinosaur that only breeds negativity. I’ve since posted my business on google and have had a way better experience over all. I’d give no stars if I could.

Reviews killing business. People who get bad experiences are more likely to give you a bad review, after helping more than 100 customers I got seven reviews and one of those 7 was a bad review and that’s the review that yelp decided to keep in my profile and my star rating went to 1 star immediately killing all traffic to my business,I tried to pay good advertisement almost 1000 dollars a mont and it was a waste, still not traffic on my business at all, After receiving 2 to 3 leads a day from nice customers I went to nothing in months. I ended up canceling advertising a while ago because there was no reason to keep using it, this got worse and worse and of course you get calls saying that you have to pay so they can fix everything for you,I got all proves calls,a chart decline, amount of customers that reached out in the past and how much I have paid during past year.

Yahairas. bessfan!!!!! We have been left so many 5 star reviews that never make it to our actual reviews page. There's about 8, 5 star reviews that are not shown on my yelp page and have 61 not recommended 5 star review how cheating is that And the 5 star reviews are from long time customers. Yelp has a terrible monopoly on business and if it seems if you don't pay to advertise or for a business pro account that all your highest rated reviews will disappear and will only show negative reviews. They force you to pay so that your competition doesn't show up on your yelp page. What a load of garbage yelp is. And of course I have no choice but to pay them so that they don't push my business that's been open 2 1/2 years off the map completely. I can't stand them. And it's funny you can't leave yelp a review on yelp lol wonder why!?!? for almost Search Arcade Apps

Robots run yelp, unless they are trying to sell you something. Very unhappy when people that personally don’t like me have never had in my business but they will put a bad review up and he won’t take it down even if I have proof they didn’t get the service because you can’t talk to a person you have to go through a robot and someone tagged my business, but it was the wrong business same name but in Boston and gave a bad review and Yelp wouldn’t take it down so I tracked that guy down for a month through his other posts and was able to contact him and he took it down but it’s unethical for a company to allow my business to be bashed by individuals that have never used my service and there’s no way to get it fixed other than submit a claim, and it always gets denied because it’s submitted to robots

Unfair treatment for businesses. 1 star for a stupid policy “Don’t ask for reviews” and your stupid software that moves reviews from real customer to “not recommended”, specially when you work hard and then asking a customer to share his experience on Yelp. And other thing, maybe we should start giving reviews to a customers? Like in Uber and Lyft. It would be fair. UPDATE: Another disadvantage of Yelp is that you cannot ban users from your business or give them a review, we recently got some absolutely insane customers and wanted to ban them on the platform and give them 1 star rating. But there is no functionality for that. Please lister to your customers we who actually paying money, not a free users. UPDATE 2: Add the rating for users, so businesses can rate customers like in Uber or Airbnb. It should work both ways!

Bad review system. I run a small business and work hard for the customers we get, I’ve received 7 amazing reviews and all 7 of them were taken down because yelp thinks I’m asking for reviews! Then I got a 3 star review from someone that I’ve never even done work for, this guy left a paragraph of crazy information about my business after I had by far one of the shortest customer interactions. I checked the reviewers info and it looks like he was going onto multiple peoples businesses in my field and leaving bad reviews, which I believed to be a competitor so I reported it and out of all the 5 star reviews I got that got taken down by yelp now they say that the 3 star review left by someone I’ve never done work for or had any negative interaction with is the real review and they won’t take it down. So I’ve decided to take our yelp ads down and try some other ones.

Your review system is horrible. I know I know. You have an algorithm. You’ll give me all the numbers on how great Yelp is honest valid and great for consumer. I find it absurdly curious that I have 60 5-star hidden reviews all deemed “fake” by Yelp. Yet my 2 1-star reviews are loud and proudly displayed for the wold. You can ruin a customers business without a care in the world. No human interaction or feedback to please have a more well balanced representation of a company’s reputation. After 16 years in business and almost a 100% satisfaction rating on all other platforms you won’t budge and you hurt small local companies. I though advertising with you would help you post my positive reviews. But nope. You haven’t let one in all year except a 1star. Oh and last year also a 1-star and none of the good ones. Not sure how you sleep at night.

SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!. I downloaded Yelp biz about 6 months ago. Filling out the page was pretty tedious but finally launched it. Reviews where coming in, GREAT ONES, all legitimate from clients I had worked with. I had 11 in total with more coming in. One day launched the app to see that every single one of my reviews where removed and began getting constant emails and calls from a women named Erin Minear trying to get me to purchase Yelp ads and she informed me she could get my reviews back up no problem but I’d have to pay for Yelp ads. I’m a very small business owner and it’s pretty sad a multi billion dollar company would try to strong arm and take advantage of the little guy for money. I sent the rep a email inquiring about these issues I had and it’s been 2 months with NO REPLY. So glad I did not move forward cause my experience was horrible.

Definitely do not recommend Yelp for your business.. I definitely do not recommend Yelp for your business. After I signed up and set up ads with Yelp. I sent them messages and emails. Nobody responded. Phone responses will take forever. I felt nobody cares about my business after I signed up and setup ads. I felt helpless. For business: I’m in transportation business. If customers request a quote from my company or someone else’s company, Yelp will send quotes to multiple companies. This is confusing for the customer. They think it’s the same company. I had multiple experiences with more than one car showing up at the same time and same location to pick up the same passenger. Very sad and frustrating!!! For reviews: I have 10 five stars reviews. The first review was in July. I was showing 0 reviews for a long time then only one review showed up on Yelp. Another was ‘unrecommended’. Now Yelp shows 3 of the 10 reviews. Very frustrating. I’m a small business and I work so hard make my customers happy. Getting 5 stars reviews that do not show is very frustrating. I have 1 one star review. This person appears to leave one star reviews on Yelp. Of course, that review Yelp didn’t list as unrecommended.

they are just scammers. I am totally outraged with this company they are a total scam they called me every so often to advertise with them and well I decided to do it and once they were charged a total of $177 per month I never heard from them again since they never answered my call so how was one loss of money I decided to cancel call to cancel even until I left a voicemail thinking that it had already been canceled and now what a surprise an account of $570 that I owe for a month because according to it was not canceled they only steal money from small companies if you are thinking In hiring this company please look for another option these just want easy money and they are not serious people they are scammers they really do not deserve a star and in the same way they steal your reviews I am as angry as it is possible that there are these types of people that only steal

Yelp for Business helps small business owners. When I launched my dog grooming business across the country from where people had known me, I knew it would be challenging to establish myself. Yelp has helped tremendously, and their business app is great to use on my iPhone. Photos are essential to my business, and they have never once failed to upload on this app. I also appreciate the blog content and being able to email articles to myself to refer to later so that I can get back to working on my business presence. If you are a customer-facing entrepreneur, this app needs to be part of your brand toolkit.

What a joke!!. I own a small business. I have 16 total genuine 5 star reviews but Yelps “algorithm” has flagged 15 of the 16 as not recommended. Of the 16, about 4 have made it past the algorithm but it seems like every time I log on, they’ve taken another one down. Now it says I just have 1 review. I’ve tried calling them multiple times to figure out why my clients genuine reviews are being flagged as not recommended, or why they keep removing the ones that did post but they just keep saying “there is nothing they can do”. The barber shop down the road pays for advertising on Yelp, has 17 total reviews with only 3 have been flagged as “not recommended” which, conveniently enough, are ALL of their bad reviews. Which tells me that you have to pay Yelp for their ridiculously overpriced services for your clients reviews to post. I wish Apple Maps used google ratings instead of Yelp. What a SCAM!

Bad service. This app is so terrible for those with a local business, I had a person from yelp contact me non stop because they wanted me to claim my account which I didn’t want to because yelp has a weird platform because when I look into reviews from other businesses they get bad ones and some of them are not helpful at all I see some complain that relate nothing to the business and it’s a serious problem at yelp so when this person contacted me from yelp to claim my account I claimed it and he said I would pay $10 for my ads but this month on the 1st I got charged 89$??? And I tried contacting yelp but as a professional business they’re they of course didn’t answer really terrible app if you’re a local business owner stay away from yelp, google maps is way better

Goodwill in Palmdale. Hello, One Sunday I went to Goodwill in Palmdale California. I was very sad and I just needed to get away. As I enter the Goodwill store, a sales person by the name of Margo suddenly greeted me with a big smile and made me feel welcome. I stay to look at things. Which help me forget the terrible Time I was having. I approached the cashier , Margo who seem happy and in good spirit. He asked me how I was doing. He had a meaningful attitude which made me feel positive and I was able to cope with the day a lot more easier. I am so thankful to meet someone who cares and welcomes customers as they walk in the store because It really makes a difference. Thank you for making my day. Keep up the positive persona.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. As a new realtor I have decided to run an ad on yelp business. In my gut, I felt this may be a bad move because it is solely based on how many “clicks and leads” your page gets. I had given the sales person a maximum of $250. After one week, I had watched barely any clicks come through and both messages I received as a “lead“ were scams. After nine days of being on yelp business I had canceled only to discover they had already billed me $200 for those days. They said that the clicks were what I had paid for. There is no way to track where these clicks are coming from and it’s a pure scam. I plan to tell everyone about this because it was a complete scam that drain $200 within nine days. Do not waste your money, SCAM!!!!! I had contacted yelp to have a manager call me and it’s been over a week, and I haven’t heard anything. That’s because they know this entire scenario is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Not the best for small businesses. My sister uses this for her new small business and tells me every single negative review in here is true. They constantly call you trying to make you pay for ads that you don’t need (they wanted her to pay for ads like 4 months before opening), and they are incredibly pushy and don’t understand when you say no. Also, all the reviews her customers are leaving are going to the “not recommended” bucket, which according to them is managed by an automated software. One day she’s got a review, the next day is gone because it was moved to not recommended again. And while asking others, as soon as they started paying for ads, all the positive reviews started popping up magically. What a scam, I used to use it for personal purposes but now I understand why when I go to a highly rated place most of the times is not really worth it, owners just pay for ads and they get good customer reviews posted. SCAM!

Allbrand Appliance Vineland New Jersey. I had an appointment scheduled for a Tuesday. It was scheduled on Thursday for a broken washer. I’ve unused this company so many times and used to be neighbors. I was given a time of 10-12. I received a call from Secretary saying Dan was on his way. I was driving and in a bad traffic area. I had my kids gone waiting but when I asked them to call my son it went to voicemail. I then called my other child who was there waiting at the door. No one showed. I wasn’t told I needed to call back as I said I was reaching out to family to let them in as we know him. He refused to come and never showed. I am beyond upset and he said I needed to call another company. Zero stars they lost my business after all of these years! Unprofessional and don’t recommend. Poor customer service even the attitude from secretary. Call someone else!

Yelp kills small businesses. Yelp’s algorithm and policies kill small businesses. They favor negative consumer reviews above all else, and hide positive consumer reviews for no reason at all (using Yelp’s own “suspected” algorithm which is completely bogus) and give no way to petition the algorithm’s decision. As a small business, we rely on customer feedback and it is extremely frustrating to have positive reviews hidden from view, and only negative “crazy person” reviews shown, who don’t even do business with us. Pathetic… Yelp you should do better than this. Don’t create a platform that has bias towards feeding haters… create a platform that is fair and ethical, and gives small businesses a fair chance, or at a minimum gives small businesses a chance to petition the wrong outcomes your algorithm makes. Don’t be a disservice to the world.

If I could rate a Zero Star I would. Very disappointed in Yelp Biz. They pretend to want to help your business, however, if you don’t want their services, aka paying them to push customers your way, it seems weird stuff will happen to your page; 5* ratings from customers go into the ‘Not Recommended’ section, and people who are not your customers and mistakenly leave a bad review about you which is then handled and taken down by that person, pop up again mysteriously. Upon calling them and dealing with a very snippy female you’re told they have the right to do that as it is their platform, although that same snippy person just told you 30 seconds earlier that it is not them that move 5* comments to the ‘Not recommended’ section, it is their ... wait for it ... algorithm.

You have to spend money to make it!. I like Yelp at first it’s hard because not a lot of people trust you with 0 stars, so your basically working from scratch. But if you hang on tight it’s worth it! Although the only reason I give it a 4 star is the way they do their reviews, I got so many good reviews 5 stars but I’ll say 1/3 of them got remove because of their algorithm it’s annoying because your customer can tell you “thank you so much I'm going to leave you a great review” on message or text, then boom they remove the review just because it was mentioned. I hope they change their algorithm with reviews because Yelp is a great marketing place for small business! Yelp helped my business from 2k to 10k a month! On my first year!

Scam!. I have recently had several fraudulent reviews on my account. These were posted by DRUG DEALERS posting pictures of pills, mushrooms and other items. They post their personal contact information on a 5 star review for my business. I have reported several of these incidents, and the posts were removed. Mysteriously, several of my other reviews that were more than 6 months old were suddenly “not recommended”. Further, since C*, most small businesses have struggled. I experienced fraud on my business card and had to cancel it. I haven’t updated the card on my account yet. This morning, my mom called me (her phone number is secondary on the account) to tell me that Yelp charged her APPLE PAY! Yelp is vindictive and uses extremely questionable business practices. I feel like I am being extorted! If I didn’t need their services to survive, I would cancel them and never use them again. I will not use Yelp for any of my other businesses!

Not bad or good. Nothing special here, but there are bugs that create concern. I don’t accept cryptocurrency, have changed my business profile to match, but the change does not stick. Also, I did select to have my address not displayed because I do not have a storefront, and all of my business is done at customers addresses, and that too does not stick. Finally, my business name changed recently but is still listed on the www as both. So I claimed the second spelling and it has become the default account. I keep getting alerts to “add business hours, or add a picture.” I don’t need/want double the work to be on yelp and wish there was a simple way to “link” the “locations” so they showed the same thing, but I cannot find a chat, email, or phone number to use to communicate with anyone at Yelp. So...three stars seems fair.

Absolutely terrible. We have been left so many 5 star reviews that never make it to our actual reviews page. There’s about 7, 5 star reviews that are not shown on my yelp page but the low 1 and 2 star reviews made it through no problem. And the 5 star reviews are from long time customers. Yelp has a terrible monopoly on business and if it seems if you don’t pay to advertise or for a business pro account that all your highest rated reviews will disappear and will only show negative reviews. They force you to pay so that your competition doesn’t show up on your yelp page. What a load of garbage yelp is. And of course I have no choice but to pay them so that they don’t push my business that’s been open for almost 40 years off the map completely. I can’t stand them. And it’s funny you can’t leave yelp a review on yelp lol wonder why!?!?

Yelp extorts small businesses. I refuse to use Yelp anymore because they extort small businesses into paying for the advertising subscriptions. If they don’t, they will hide all their good reviews and list all the bad reviews, and suspicious bad reviews of people you never met will pop up on your business page. Yelp will won’t delete reviews with libel, false information, or the posting of people’s personal private information despite numerous attempts to report the review. Yelp will not remove pages of worksites which should not be on Yelp such as B2B businesses or departments of certain corporate agencies. Imagine if the IT department or the HR department of your company was listed on Yelp. Imagine if your neighbor decided to list your house on Yelp to complain about you and write lies about you. Yelp will not remove it because they don’t care about you. They only want your money.

Run away from there. The experience with the company is so terrible that I will never use their services again. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON'T PAY THEM? 1 they will take all your good reviews 2 you will have to work very hard to find your business on yelp 3 they will change your company's personal number to their virtual number without your permission 4 if you turn off "quick request" on their page they will put a button "contact with other companies" instead of yours 5 if your customer checks out on your yelp page, then rest assured that a bunch of other companies (that pay yelp) will get your customer's message)) 6 YOU CAN'T DELETE YOUR COMPANY FROM THIS GARBAGE 7 I don't trust those companies , which are in the first places on yelp, because I understand that it doesn’t matter if you are good or bad, the main thing is to pay yelp.

Yelp is scammers. Dear everyone, When your business partner with an advertising company like “Yelp” you expect this partnership to be a Win - Win not Win - Lose relationship!! This is exactly what I feel after one month of trying Yelp add service for my business. I got screwed over from one of their unprofessional hungry agent when I asked him not to exceed $2 per click on my Ad. where the main goal of my business to receive clicks to my phone but instead I found out by end of the month that I got charged $245 for 9 clicks and 53 visits to my page which I don’t really need or even care about because it doesn’t help my business as I explained to him before!!! What made me really disappointed is when I called back after I got this crazy charge to explain to whoever on the line that this is not what I expected from Yelp and that I am not satisfied at all to answer me back that there is thousands of agents working for Yelp and some of them is not professional enough & I may cancel if I want to!! This is how she solved the issue! By offering me to cancel & not to partner with them anymore!! I can’t believe this is a big company that guarantee the satisfaction of there clients or partners. I am really sad to write something negative for anyone but I just need other people to be aware of what could happen for them if they trust unprofessional bus businesses. Thanks a lot

Terrible business ethics. I did some advertising with them that ended up be a waste of money, which was fine… lesson learned. After canceling all of the paid ads and confirming with their rep that I was done and no longer wanting to continue, they proceeded to bill me $500 per month for 5 months. I received nothing from them during this time… no follow ups on how the ads were going, no receipts, and no reports. I deleted the app when I canceled the ads, so I had no reason to go check on any of this. The charges were seen by my bookkeeper who assumed we were continuing, so I didn’t catch any of this until looking at the quarterly budgets. I brought this to Yelp’s attention and they basically told me to pound sand despite me providing them with all the email communications with their rep and taking all the necessary steps. Buyer beware… They are unethical, greedy, and their advertising is not good. I’ll be sticking with Google.

beware. they will ask u if u want a free trial that charges u 300$ as soon as its done. i had sworn i had cancelled the trial before it could be charged, specifically for that reason. im pretty sure majority of people who chose to advertise through yelp are small businesses and cannot afford a random 300$ charge. to top it off, even though i was being charged for advertising i did not receive one single lead or phone call or email during this time. so not only was i charged for a service i never agreed to and screwed out of $$$ i dont have, but yelp couldnt even do their job in the first place. im not sure if this is specifically third parties but ive also received many harassing phone calls/texts from people claiming to be yelp employees. my experience w yelp has consistently been sketchy and overwhelming and i wish i wouldve never interacted with them in the first place. im sure there are good people on the team but majority of them seem to be aggressive and like they were literally trained to be a pushy salesman, nothing more. as a wedding/beauty vendor there is a high demand for these services, they seem to be overlooking most venues/companys if they are not restaurant based??? keep your distance, dont give them any kind of card info, and find another advertising agency u can actually trust.

Beach Bum Bakery. I stopped by last week on my way home. I purchased a cinnamon knot that was so yummy! Very moist, remarkable flavor, and so enjoyable. TBH, there was a bakery north of me, that do some wonderful things for special needs people. I went in there for a while, always ordered a cinnamon roll. I’m one of ‘those’….a bite a day. A lot of dough, very little cinnamon. I mentioned it to the owner, but, in all fairness, I went out there to see if they’d improved on their recipe. Nope. 6 bucks into the garbage can😩. The second purchase @ Beach Bum was a brownie, thinking a brownie is a brownie….NOT the case. It was insanely great! When I first bit into it, I thought “oh, it tastes just like a brownie “, but as I chewed some more it became better and better. It was absolutely THE BEST BROWNIE EVER! I highly recommend you stop by and give them a try. They have a darling little trailer in the Runge parking lot, on the 4th Street Side. There are specific days, & hours, so I suggest you check. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed!!! There’s a great menu! The owner is as sweet as can be!!! 💗😎💗

Stay Away!!. I was reluctant to even try, I’ve said no 3 times to the rep and finally I was like let me try it for 30 days. WORST decision ever. They do not set you up for success. There forum doesn’t have clients put in there contact info like phone number or email so your just roll the dice in hopes that the person who reached out will send a message. They wouldn’t tell me how much I would be charged for this “service” over the phone just that I would pay a small change at the beginning of the month and then about $15 every time a person reached out. THEY CHARGED ME TWICE. First payment was $132 then they charged $415. This is not including the charges per person that reached out. It is NOT worth it. I’ve also been getting non stop SCAM calls from people ever since signing up. Please don’t waste your money there are way better options. Check out the finger spike, digit pin…. instead.

Good reviews won’t stick. I have have been working hard for new customers to get a good review but the reviews don’t stick only the bad ones. I been in business for over 18 years I done some many homes in our area and I’m only being stereotyped by these bad reviews that are only allowed on Yelp. I try to contact them and got to get someone on the phone and was rude with me. Did not care about what I had to say and it gave me the sense that Yelp is not trying to help business but to keep me grounded. I work hard for my family and yes I have bad reviews but there are sides of the story and those people did not want to pay me for my work. So until I see progress of good reviews being accepted on my yelp business page I’ll change my 1 star to 5 stars. I hope that we can come to an agreement to let my customers write reviews for me.

Not worth the money. Yelp reeled me in with their program promising to match whatever money I paid to boost my account. I barely got any leads and decided to end my journey and delete the app. Each time I came back I had bad reviews from people saying I was unresponsive… because I deleted the app. Once I got back on the app and did jobs people would start leaving good reviews but Yelp would delete those reviews and continue pushing the bad reviews. So I started paying again and magically my good reviews started back showing. I stopped paying again as my work is seasonal and once again bad reviews. I reached out to support and they say there is nothing they can do. I don’t believe that’s true being that they were able to take away good reviews. I think it’s all a scam and as a business owner it would be better to invest in other marketing to grow your business.

Not worth it. I tried Yelp as a new a Realtor and overall it wasn’t worth it for a couple reasons. You can’t get reviews unless they are Yelp customers and you can’t import any. After signing up I realized there was a lot unexplained and they left some of those very important details out of my on boarding. I was very unhappy with the services provided. I spoke to customer service to explain this in an attempt to get a partial refund and they truly didn’t care. I only wanted a partial refund not a full one. They wouldn’t hear me out and made me feel unreasonable. All in all customer service is poor and they are disconnected internally. I’ve actually never experienced anything like it. It seems like they are holding on with old systems and don’t care to keep a client. I would not recommend Yelp based on my experience and would recommend spending money elsewhere.

Owner. Not as bad as google but It has been a nightmare at times watching my hard-earned reviews get removed and sent to rot in the “unrecommended” section. So far they have removed every single review and it hurts. I appreciate that they have systems in place to maintain integrity if the service they provide to the users, but the algorithm and/or lack of oversight/quality control by a reasonable human, of the system results in counter-productivity at best, but more like oppression. In the beginning i had problems with them verifying my info, which was ridiculous, bug i called up, waited on hold for 75 min, and the girl i talked to fixed all the issues i had at that time. Good experience other than the wait time. I usually dont write reviews but i figured id give them a taste of their own medicine, inadvertently of coarse, not the purpose of this review.

Yelp delete or move your reviews. I’m not too happy with yelp, they deleted some of my reviews and other moved to not recommend, I have like 10 review that I works hard for it and when I call yelp they said they can’t do anything about also the app ask me they were remove because I probably ask for a review or they not even my clients. I loose some clients because I got the point to not have any, also one user of yelp never ask me for a service, I don’t even know who is that, but this person left me a review and I don’t even think is one of my client, a weeks before yelp send me an msg through yelp app saying no one who is not your client will be able to leave a review but this negative review for my small business is the only one my page yelp is showing. 😭😭😭😭😭 Hope yelp can do something about it ! Had a lot of potential for small businesses like mine.

Not really my cup of tea. Im really trying to understand how their review system works. Recently I was checking out all the reviews that their fancy software checks for relevancy. I get that some ppl may buy or have ppl write bogus reviews. In our case there are close to 30!! Not 1 or 2 but 30 reviews that were written by our customers that are loyal customers and the system deemed them not “relevant “ its really disappointing when you’re trying to grow as a small business and this sort of crap that really has a huge impact on your business happens. Its why I have turned to tiktok, IG and other social media platforms for advertising. I ha e gotten my ROI multiple times. This software doesn’t work, let the customer determine what’s relevant to them.

Such a helpful tool!. I’m so grateful for Yelp, the tools available here are incomparable to any other marketing site I’ve tried. The key though, unless you’re super tech savvy and can figure things out, is to make sure you ask your Yelp rep questions and get to know all the options within the business ads and capabilities on your profile. Get set up right and you’ll save tons of money and have more business in no time! Joe Martinez is my rep and he really cares—he goes above and beyond to ensure your profile is how it needs to be for optimal results! Thank you Joe!

Ups and downs. This app help me get my business started. But as far as a handyman business, unless you advertise, you get basically no leads. Advertising they’re pretty good about giving credit but to be honest you have to spend nearly $500 a month to get a decent amount of leads and I wouldn’t even say that keeps you busy full-time and getting a webpage and gonna start looking at Google the nearby jobs are absolutely ridiculously priced jobs that you can charge maybe 150 $200 and four cost you 90 bucks it just makes no sense and the crazy thing is even if you don’t get the job you can get charged just for them to talk to you so if you have a person that is not serious I’m just trying to price and things that cost you 90 bucks and you get no money to jobs like that you’re making no money

Yelp is awful. This “service” is purely about making money and screwing over small businesses. As a brand new business I had about 10 clients and asked them if they minded writing me a nice review on Yelp. To my delight all of them said yes! Afterwards I go to my profile and Yelp said only one of them is legitimate. They show my business as having 1 review and they don’t list the others because I asked for them. They said this is to level the playing field because it shouldn’t be about who has the time and money to ask for the most reviews… but they set up their site so that the businesses with the most money get found because they spend the most on ads. I don’t understand why it’s considered not an authentic review if I ask customers to do it. I had to wait until I got more clients (without the help of Yelp reviews) and then just cross my fingers they’d just figure out that I was on Yelp and wanted a review. This app is run by pigs.

Absent customer service, locked in billing, can’t get out. I signed up for an account to use their free credit and try it out. Their cancelation process is hairy and deceiving. Tried multiple times to cancel and they scare you with terms like “if you cancel you will be charged for ____.” I looked into it on my computer and finally figured out how to cancel everything. Got confirmations that it was cancelled but they continue to bill me $450/mo. Two bills in and many missed phones calls and a few pending tickets later I am at a loss for what to do…then they sent me a “how did we do” survey as if they responded to my ticket and resolved it. There is no response in my email or my yelp account. No service was rendered so I found it ironic that they were asking for feedback on their service. Overall a big disappointment and pain in the neck experience. Yelp: negative stars

Star Ratings. Please reflect my star ratings based on my reviews. Taking notice over the past couple of years that my star ratings do not change(increase) with A Ratings. I also notice that with new ”A”rating, high rated reviews are removed reviews are removed after being posted for months and guidelines are followed). There was a period where 4-5 we're removed at one time after being posted for a long period of time. When I try to rectify the problem I always get the run around that it's an automated internal program that places reviews in ”not recommended reviews”. That's B.S. because I've seen yelp put reviews in ”not recommended” then the very next day it's reposted!!??. Yelp can you please fix this problem? I will remove this review if problem is resolved. Thank you, Kaui’s Kleaners, Inc

The app is fine but the company is terrible. If you are a business owner and thinking of doing business with yelp, don’t. Yelp will hide your good reviews and dangle the carrot of giving them back to you if you give them advertising money. It has happened to hundreds of small businesses. Check out he documentary, “Billion Dollar Bully” where you will see many stories where Yelp deliberately tried to ruin small businesses because they wouldn’t pay yelp money. Yelp will hide good reviews and leave bad reviews even though right in the review the reviewer will mention that they never even used the businesses service. Ignore Yelp, don’t even claim your listing. Focus your time and energy on Google as their ratings won’t get hidden behind a Yelp “paywall “. Stay as far away from Yelp as possible.

Scammed, worse advertising company ever!. I am sharing my experience with the worst ad company I have had in my whole life. They take your credit card information to get started and the cost I was told was false and the charges were actually triple in cost DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE APP DO NOT GIVE CREDIT INFORMATION AND NO ONE WILL GIVE YOU ANY ANSWERS OR EXPLANATION. FOR THE CHARGES! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NO BUSINESS AT ALL! The customers who did contact me were 100 miles away I did not receive one customer from them. That means they are a scam they do this to steal your money and say they “help” your business with customers. Build your business on your own and do not be stupid to deal with them at all no matter many times they call you and try to get your business. I had to share my experience with you guys so they do not scam any other business and take your money for nothing at all!

Ridiculous. It’s absolutely crazy how yelp doesn’t show positive reviews. Because they’re flagged for potentially being fake. But I have numerous reviews for my business with pictures added mind you that are not even counted as a review from customers who have had accounts for years with several other reviews to other company’s but the second they post to mine it’s not counted. Because I’m guessing my business is new on yelp. On top of that not matter what if someone leaves a bad review even if someone just created the account with no other reviews at all they count. Like oh it’s a bad review we gotta show it. If it weren’t for the fact that so many people rely on yelp for the services they need I wouldn’t even use this platform. Yelp you need to really look into your review algorithm flagging software because your causing people business which is how a lot of us support our family.

Yelp. Yelp is a joke. The only way to make it a two or three star is to pay to advertise. Yelp has successfully created an avenue where customers rule with no checks and balances involved. A customer can literally NEVER visit your business or receive services and give you a one star because they don’t receive the prices they want. My company had a customer go behind the technician and alter the install and once the customer realized he made a mistake immediately went on Yelp and left a terrible review. They hide relevant reviews if you don’t pay for their services as well. If your company does before and after photos you can’t order them in sequence unless you pay Yelp. Companies should be able to rate customers as well. Some people just aren’t worth doing business with. Some of these people literally exist to bury businesses.

Empire State Adjustment Bureau Grant A. Cudjoe. My mother, Denise Belle, had an electrical fire in her home on July 2, 2022, that is when she met Grant A. Cudjoe from Empire State Adjustment Bureau Inc. He was like a angel on her shoulder during this tragic and stressful situation. From day one he took control of all of her problems and worries - from getting the property secure clean, to finding shelter and food and dealing with her insurance company. He is absolutely so business savoy as well as efficient in getting the job done to effectively process your insurance claim to the best of his client’s interest, but most of all his compassionate and caring persona is a Godsend! Thank you Grant so much! God Blessings Denise Belle

Poor Automation and expensive. To start off with the good from the app… they are a well established company and they have so many users that you will definitely get views as a company. It will most likely help with your advertising. Leads can come in. The bad side… It is pretty expensive to run their ads and the leads that come in aren’t vetted so there isn’t much control on the type of customers that reach out. The automation that they use to control your reviews is poor. It will reject some of the reviews that your clients give you based on how often they use yelp and whether you asked for a review or not. Since it is automated you are not allowed to dispute your reviews being declined. I have gotten 5-star reviews taken away that were important to try to build up my profile.

Yelp. I do not recommend opening an account As soon as you do good customer service they give you five stars then they take it down if someone gives you one fall leave it it's hard to move forward like that Especially for small businesses, people who are starting in business do not recommend you Once you receive one star and no one has called you, it is very difficult to close the account as well Just scammers only take money for advertising if you don't advertise they put you last it's nothing nothing nothing I don't recommend If you want to close the account, you can't close the account if they don't let you, even if you don't want to, they won't let you close in this case, you have to bring them a certificate that you closed the government business in the business row

Yelp advertise agents. I’ve been using yelp for years as an consumer so I gave it a shot with my business. However they have dropped all of my clients REAL clients reviews. But it didn’t start until they started blowing up my phone trying to get me to pay for advertising which I don’t need and now my business isn’t on the radar anymore with is awful because of their rigged system do yourself a favor and avoid them phone calls and your business will be okay. I never received business from yelp but I always recommended for people to “hey check us out on yelp” now I don’t say anything. My foot traffic has been at 0 since the last rep I spoke with that didn’t end nice because they were trying to force me to buy advertisement (very high intense sales company) but that don’t bother me... I’m not buying anything if I’m not ready period.
