Love the game, but some changes can be made.. This is a great game! I love the club wars and the challenges. My city is at level 50 now, and it’s totally fun. You get to build buildings, and you can get other, special limited time buildings from the city challenges and other things too. But to expand now I have to get 20 of each item. It’s hard to get the items, eventually you’ll have to pay real money for them, so it would be nice to make them easier to obtain. Maybe at a certain point it just costs a certain amount to expand every time. It would also be nice if your city could expand more. Also, make it so there are limitless expansions. You would still need the items to expand, but like I said before, maybe stop raising the expansion cost after around maybe 20 of each item. They take up a lot of space along with being hard to obtain. Besides that, I would suggest adding weather to the game. You can see the temperature and the forecast. Maybe you can make holidays for your city to celebrate. Maybe people get injured in the weather, and you can upgrade your hospitals to take more patients. It would be cool to add snowplows that go around your city. Also, add a feature that shows how environmentally considerate your city is and healthy it is too. Maybe the more parks, mountain, beach and entertainment specialization's you have your sims health improves. Those are all my suggestions. I would highly recommend this game, it’s super fun!

I loved it for a while, but interest has faded :(. I downloaded this game about a year ago, for some context. Back when I started playing it, I would have given five stars. However, I found some issues that changed my opinion later on. First off, there are a lot of things I like about this game. It’s more freestyle than a lot of other games I’ve played that have similar branding. The graphics are beautiful and I’ve always loved the music and sounds that go with it. 10/10 to that department. Now, keep in mind I play a lot of games that involve currency and building up on what you’re given. Therefore, there are quite a few I find boring after a while. I’m sorry to say this is one of those games. Once you get the basics of a town started, there’s no real way to change it drastically without making the people mad because they don’t have recourses. I’m fine with the coins as well, but sim cash is so hard to get, and is required for a lot of buildings I would love to have in my town. I’m just too poor to get them. I would love to see an update where sim cash is more accessible.

Why am I still playing?. I’ve been a fan of all the “Sim” games for a while and was stoked to find a smart phone version. The game starts off slow and as you race to build your city hoping for more excitement, you’ll find its always just mildly entertaining. My biggest complaint is the cost of some of the content they try and sell you, sometimes a single building can run about $20. If you bought most of the special buildings they offer, you would spend hundreds every year which I think is absolutely outrageous for a free game with little to offer. You might as well spend $50 and buy the computer version, you’ll be much happier and you won’t be constantly pestered to watch ads or buy extremely overpriced content. My second complaint is the new war system. I thought they finally added something of value to this game, but I was very wrong. The club wars are long, tedious and boring, most clubs I’ve faced choose to hide behind shields for most of the 24hr attack phase coming out right at the end to try and just one up your score. During most club wars, I find myself staring at the war lobby for hours on end waiting to attack someone. I’m not sure why they give you 24hrs to attack when most of the excitement takes up maybe an hour. If you’re considering downloading this game in hopes to satisfy some old school sim city action, look elsewhere.

Good game but needs some updates. I love this game but some things in it make me not want to play. Here are some suggestions that I think people would like in future updates. 1. I think there should be a filter on the global trade center so you can filter out items to find what items you want. Also whenever you unlock new items they completely take over the trade center 2. Some things are way to expensive to unlock. I am on level 27, and I still have to unlock the Vu Tower, Airport, and 4 stores because I can never save up enough money before a new problem occurres in my city. 3. This kind of overlaps with my other suggestion that I think there should only be three services that your sims need or you should all unlock them all early because the first 20 or so levels of the game are just me trying to get my sims happy. It’s also hard because my city will be filled up and then I have to make place for the health or police services and I have no-where to put my other buildings since it’s so hard to expand. These are just some of my suggestions I think people would like to add into the game in a future update.

Game is really fun! One thing that would make things smooth for club members... I really enjoy playing this game it almost gives me a Sid Meiers civilization (which I also enjoy playing!) except without the worry of being attacked by barbarians or competing civilizations-unless participating in club wars of course. The only thing I would ask that become available on the next update would be the ability to trade goods or simoleons directly with club members. I joined a trading club in hopes to be able to trade my goods for those that I need to expand and improve my city but the way we have to go about it is a bit difficult. If I’m looking to buy x5 shovels from a member of my club; the other member has to post the items to there trade depot w/out advertising; then let me know it’s posted; am I have to rush over to their depot in hopes the goods haven’t been grabbed by someone else. A way around this that I would suggest is a separate transaction system used between members where goods can be posted in private(so no one else can grab them) and so each party can access it at there availabile time w/out the worry of losing out on the deal. Awesome game you guys got here though I really like it

Fabulous Game and requested features. Hello~ I am a long time player (like iPad toddler player) and I think this is a FAB game and would recommend for anyone looking to find great people and a great time killer. By far my favorite game right after roblox and BitLife/DogLife, while it’s a bit older in years it brings back fun memories for me and I can most certainly say that this is a good game if you just got ur first apple device and are looking for a offline/online game! Now time for recommendations for game-play, we should be able to have a huge ‘clan’ just for trading and have it as a sub clan. No war just trade and chat. 2 we should also have the luxury of omega trading ‘cause lord help me, spending like 3 hours just waiting and waiting for a omega item you already have! 4 more updates that change gameplay plz because after level 30 you gotta relay on clans to spice things up along side regions but who has that type of money and patience for ungrateful sims who can’t use google maps?!?!? (Deep breaths) Also it shouldn’t be like pulling teeth to get some storage expansían parts :) That’s all I have and thank you for reading my long novel hope u enjoyed :D

Great game-for a while. This is a neat throwback to SimCity on Windows, which I spent hundreds of hours playing back in the day. So of course I gave this a shot. The gameplay does not disappoint, it’s a very nice system that works. The trading feature is great and it seems that the mechanics (engine?) work very well.. for example, it’s easy to see and address the needs of the city. My issue is that, like most games on the AppStore, when you get to a point, progress seems to slow down unless you start paying real money for things. I’d rather pay $5-$10 for a solid app that has everything you need to play without spending anymore real cash, unless you want an expansion pack or something. I’m sure there are others who swear they can have a huge successful city without spending a dime, but when I’m struggling to get the city running, only to suddenly have to “upgrade the roads”, it’s a bit aggravating. I give it 4 stars because it is truly a great game at its core, but the whole “spending money to play” gimmick is tiring. Remove the IAPs (except for things like expansion packs) and I’m sure people will gladly pay for this addicting and fulfilling game.

Needs fixes and update. Okay first I’ll say, when producing items for the snowflakes, it’s Extremely frustrating when you spend time buying and making items and then start producing the items for the snowflake, and then all of a sudden the snowflake changes to a different item out of nowhere. Second. There should be a way to add friends, without using Facebook. My Facebook is used for professional use and I do not want to create another just for a game. I have come across other cities through groups I would like to keep as my friend but I can’t because they aren’t my Facebook friends and that is a bummer. Third. There should be a way to access our personal inventory while in someone else’s city, so we know what we have and can compare it to what we need. Besides that I will say this is a very fun and addictive game. I have been playing the sims games since the started on the PC version, I play sim city and free play and enjoy them both a lot. With a few fixes and updates I would easily change to a five star rating. Hope you guys take our feed backs seriously as I have seen others say the same thing I’m saying and then some!

Ok game, some problems (please read). I got this game when my mom started talking about how she used to be obsessed with it, and after I saw her playing it. I can spend hours making things to upgrade my buildings, and even longer trying to do challenges and cargo shipments... and, well, you get the point. I use the global trade HQ all the time, and I like how they added export HQs for the other regions so that there’s multiple ways to earn lime simoleons and other currencies like that. However, I do wish there was one other way to earn sim cash. I barely ever spend any, and have been saving them for a while, but I still don’t have that much. I know that there’s already a lot of ways to earn them, but I feel like at least once a couple days there’s a option to earn them by making a bunch of materials in a hour or something like that. Or, at least, make it a little more common to get simcash from watching videos. Speaking of which, there’s something that really bugs me. You see, sometimes when I watch a video, it doesn’t give me a reward. And no, I’m not talking about when one of the three boxes are empty. Sometimes the option to pick from them doesn’t come up, which is frustrating after I’ve spent time watching a ad. I feel like that’s one thing that definitely needs to be fixed.

What else can I say?. When I first got the job to play this game and set up this review I was thinking why in the world would Sims make a mobile game about building your own city? In the PC Sims game the games are about building houses and putting family’s that you control in your house and MAKING SURE THEY DONT DIE which at times can put a lot of stress on you but the fun type of stress not the kind that makes you go OMG I’m so stressed out but the kind that makes one go OMG I’m so stressed out... You get what I mean? Anyways it seemed ridiculous that the people at Sims would want to make a game that’s about putting down buildings and that being that... but I was wrong the satisfaction of you making your own city and it looking like an actual city is in a way truly magnificent and satisfying. I’m the game you can join mayors clubs which are groups of people that make there own club in the game and than do “Club Wars” so they can destroy other people’s city’s... how could that be any better. So there is so much more in this game that you can do and I strongly suggest you should get the game. I’m Brendan Dobbs from GG Games and I give this game 4 stars congratulations.

Long time player. I’ve been playing this game since it pretty much came out. Before the snow stuff, before mayor multiplayer, before the advanced houses, before the beach, and before all the extra town unlocks. I’m level 37 with barely 1st town halfway unlocked and been playing that long without hardly spending any money. I don’t think it’s fair to bombard with ads and pay walls and it’s been getting worse and worse as the years go on. Why am I forced to close 6 ads to buy something before I’m able to play? It’s not a good long term business strategy. Studies show that people who stick around with engaging content that’s challenging but achievable will spend money. Put effort into creating an excellent platform that’s possible. Why have electronics needing 6 hours to build and steel with 1 minute. The balance of everything is just unrealistic and it’s gauged towards first time players and compulsive buyers who want to see progress fast. You can still get that, but you need to focus on making the game a little more enjoyable. I would spend money if it was worth it, but I’m not spending money on resources that I can build over the course of the day. There’s nothing in the game that you can’t get with a little patience.

I love it …. But it could be better. Honestly when I first started this game I had no intention on keeping it downloaded because I had lost all my progress after I deleted it and took a break from it. .Initially , I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did . The ONLY MAJOR Problem I had was the coins and dollars . Of course almost all games has to include some sort of currency that’s hard to obtain but wow the dollars are very rare . I’m currently on level 23 and I’ve only obtained maybe around 130 dollars which cannot buy you anything pretty much . Another problem I would suggest looking into is better graphics. I think actually being able to zoom further in and see people walking and driving would be a cool feature not necessary but would be cool . Also a lot of the missions are hard to do … in my opinion specifically the evil doctor ones I’m confused on how it would make sense to purposefully destroy the city then have to collect materials again to build it back up but okay now I’m rambling … download it and I would suggest play it back to back for a couple of days then after that space your days up that way you aren’t spending so many coins at once and another major thing is not to collect your city taxes too soon . The more people you have the more money you collect I now have over 100,000 coins and almost all of it has been from collecting taxes …. thank me later

I love this game, but there are a few problems.... I personally love this game! It is one of favorite to play and I can’t imagine deleting! This app is so fun to play and my sisters and I love playing it together! There are a few problems though. 1. Could you maybe make it easier to get special items. I really struggle to get beach items and it would be nice to make that easier. 2. One of my biggest pet peeves with this game is that you to pay 4.99 for the special prizes on contest of mayors, each season! I don’t mind paying 4.99 once but every time there is a new season! If you could either lower the price or make it so that you would only have to pay once, that would be awesome! 3. It would be nice if you could lower the price of shops. This isn’t a big problem it would just be nice. 4. Lastly, could you please make golden keys easier to get? It is really hard sometimes. Again this is not a big problem, so son’t stress about it! Anyways, I really do love this game! If you just fixed a few things this would be a five star game! I highly recommend this game to everyone who reads this and I love playing it! Thanks!

Good, but frustrating!!!!!. I really enjoyed playing this game, but feel that a few items should be changed about the game. I think that if you put an item for sale you should be able to spend coins or dollars to take the item down and keep the item. I also think it would be nice if we could trade omega items with others. My main issue with this game is when it comes to having a war with another group. There seems to be a new strategy going around, which while brilliant, it’s frustrating and makes me not want to play. Team 1 goes in and bombs team 2 quickly, therefore accumulating a lot of war points quickly. Team 2 retaliates, but maybe they don’t have as many members, so they can’t put up as many war points as quickly. Team 1 is completely bubbled and doesn’t ever unbubble. So team 1 is going to win because they refuse to unbubble, and team too just has to sit there and wait. I understand that it is “war “ but this is happening every time I play, and it’s to the point where I don’t even want to go to war with my group anymore. Can’t you make it so that we either have to pay a penalty if we stay bubbled after a certain amount of time or you automatically have to unbubble after so many hours? Just in the name of fairness this would be a great option. Again I understand it’s a game, and it’s a great strategy, but it’s been used way too much and it’s ruining the game for me.

Enjoyable until it asks for things you can’t get. I downloaded this game because it seemed very similar to the DOS version of SimCity I used to play many years ago. The first part of the game was very exiting and I really enjoyed building homes and roads and factories. And getting my city to grow. I was on the phone at any moment I could. The more I did the more requirements kept me pumped up. But it gets to a point when I started to get into Mayor contests and it starts asking for wars between cities. That makes this too complicated for what I am willing to play. Also the building upgrades requests items that I cannot produce or buy like a sweater or bread. Then the upgrades requests things that take 5 or more hours to make turning it hardly impossible to complete the task without being stuck to the phone practically all day. I think a game like this should allow the user to play at leisure. I don’t have time to dedicate only to a game. I would love a game that stays simple and keeps me engaged. Microsoft had a game called Age of empires that kept me going up to the end because tasks where hard but possible. The same i would say for the first version of Starcraft. For that reason I am deleting the app from my phone. I gave it 3 stars because the game is well designed. And it gave me pleasure before it gave me frustrations.

Consistently perfect, until recently.... I downloaded the game 2 days after it launched on iOS, not knowing what to expect. To my surprise it instantly became my favorite mobile game app. I've never agreed with the idea of in-app-purchases but Sim City Build It is the only game that I've actually spent money on. The fun factor, and replay value are simply unmatched. This game has been near flawless in my opinion. That is, until recently. I was excited when new city areas were introduced because it allowed me to experience the fun of designing a new layout from scratch. And the addition of seasonal and holiday events seemed promising. But then the game began crashing. CONSTANTLY. It's like the game can't handle all of the stuff that's happening on screen. If I switch to a different area map the game freezes then completely crashes. If I open the game and swipe on the screen before all of the intrusive game notifications pop up, the game freezes then completely crashes. If I try to interact with the game in any way before the intrusive on-screen notifications pop up, the game freezes then completely crashes! I thought it might have something to do with the version of iOS running on my phone but my software is up to date. I update the app as soon as an update is available on iOS. The problem continued even after I upgraded to an iPhone 11 pro max! I still love the game but these constant crashes are wearing on my patience.

Algorithm Updates. Success in this game requires heavy use of the Global Trade to find things to buy. SimCity has always used algorithms to determine what is offered to you to buy. For example, if you need specific items to upgrade a building, SimCity will filter these items out of the Global Trade, requiring you to spend even more time trying to find them. Eventually, perhaps after about 30 minutes of searching, the algorithm might allow one or two to appear. On the other hand, if you don't need a particular item, that item is much more likely to appear to buy. If you don't need them and already have several of them in your inventory, they are even more likely to appear. If you have some items, like hamburgers, for example, up for sale yourself, then dozens of them will appear on the Global Trade for you to buy because the algorithm has determined you are unlikely to need them. In this way, the algorithm modifies items on the Global Trade so that high demand always equals low (or nonexistent) supply and low demand always equals high supply. SimCity updates these algorithms in most patches. This latest patch has caused even low demand items to not appear on the Global Trade. I don't know exactly what was done, but now nearly all of the time I am offered about 7 different things. This prevents players from stocking up on items for future demand. Hopefully this gets fixed in the next update.

Good game but some things need to be fixed.. I’ve been playing this game for a few years now and I like seeing all the mew exciting changes. However, I find it so difficult to expand my city and city storage. Especially when I need to collect these items that take forever to get all and take up half of my city storage. Also, please make the Global Trade HQ easier to use by adding a search bar for the thing you need, not having to wait 30 seconds and hope the item you need will appear. Please add an option to stop upgrading buildings. I don’t need a thousand skyscrapers in my city. It doesn’t look realistic. I really like the idea of the regional cities but there are a few things that should be worked out. One: Why is it if I have three regional homes and one regular home, the demand for any service is seven? Shouldn’t it be four like in the capital city. Two: Why can’t we place the other commercial building in out regional city instead of having to travel back and forth to get supplies. The same applies to factories. Three Can we get some sort of city hall or town hall to be able to collect more of the regional currency. Finally, I would like to be able to choose a name for my regional city instead of calling it Cactus Canyon or one of the other names.

Somewhat Fun Game But A Broken Game Economy With Greedy Developers. I’ve had this game downloaded for a very long time now and after revisiting it I realized again how pointless and ridiculously broken the game is. It’s a fun game when you first start playing but as you progress it becomes ever more increasingly difficult to simply play the game. The more you level up the more you have to spend in game currency while needing more and more resources just to make a little money. Your progression slows way down and it becomes obvious that the developers only want you to spend real money on in game currency just to play a monotonous game whose in game economy is pathetic and you must wait hours just to collect resources at a novice game level. The game has plenty of ways to earn “rewards” but these rewards simply consist of irrelevant currencies that never include the main coins used in the game. There are infinite ways to lose coins and only a few ways to slowly make them while also losing far more resources than you are compensated for. This game could easily be a 5 star game if the developers were focused on creating a player friendly in game economy but seeing as they obviously are not, and are so obviously only interested in trying to force ads and in game purchases on players, this game remains an aggravating example of a potentially great game ruined by incredibly greedy and terrible developers.

Fun game but gets boring.. This is a good game, the graphics gameplay and strategy are exciting and different. But after you build your city up, one day you will hit a wall. The game ceases to be fun and becomes tedious and small. I’ve hit the wall, and now barely play the game anymore. The challenges become overwhelming at times only because you are so restricted with supply depot size and city size, both because it becomes almost impossible to find the special items you require to grow either. Eventually, the global trade center will become useless. It will always be full of the same 4-5 high level items that nobody can use in their own city and so become flooded into the market. You are forced to build these same items for some challenge and then find out they are completely useless to you as well. You can’t use them to build any other items, you can’t use them for building homes, and you will have a hard time selling them because it’s the same items everybody sells. They just become a waste of supply space. As you raise your city level, the game really makes it harder and harder to succeed without paying real money for special items or sim cash. I used to really enjoy playing this game but have become bored with sitting endlessly in the global market hoping for an expansion item to pop up so I can finally expand my land or supply. I’d say give it a shot, but keep your city small. The bigger you get, the less enjoyable it becomes.

Money. Money. Money.. All they care about is money. It is very addictive gameplay wise, but it’s very hard to make a substantial amount of in game currency without opening your wallet. Every time I produce items that take longer than 5 minutes to finish production, it asks if I want to watch a video to complete the process. Every. Single. Time. If I declined the offer the first 5 times what makes you think I wanna say yes immediately after that? Expanding the city also becomes increasingly difficult as the parts you need to do so rarely come by, that is if you don’t spend money on the game. Another problem is with the amount of currencies they have. It’s hard to keep up when there are too many different types. Platinum keys, gold keys, Simoleons, NeoSimoleons, Cash, Wave, Cactus, Lime, Fish, and Leaf simoleons. Cash is one of the harder ones to obtain and it’s needed for pretty much everything. You want to be able to mass produce things while you’re away? Spend money or win a contest. You wanna win a contest so you don’t have to spend money to earn cash? Not gonna happen because other players spent enough to win the contests leaving you behind with little to nothing for participating. If you spend $20 you hardly get enough to buy anything because once you spend it on a handful of upgrades, you’ll probably have nothing left for anything else. 2 stars because it is a fun game, but there’s a lot of incentive not to play it simultaneously.

I love it... kinda (please read if you want thorough review). Ok, so I’ve been playing this game for a while now. It’s been really great and a fun way to build a city. However, I have some complaints and suggestions. One thing I really don’t like about the game, is the difficulty to expand cities or certain areas (mountains, beaches). The expandable areas are only gained through the small chance of receiving the materials, or the even smaller chance of them being on sale from other players. This makes the game hard to play because after a while, it takes more and more of these materials, and if you can’t expand and build more, you can’t make money. I think it would be easier to create a cap or limit on the amount of materials needed eventually, as they are hard to get and take up space. Another thing is the Global Trade algorithm. Later in the game, building your city has a heavy reliance on Global Trade and the random availability of items from other players. Whenever I don’t need something, have a lot of something, or have that item on sale currently, the item appears almost excessively on Global Trade. However, when I need a certain item, it filters it out of Global Trade making you waste a good 30 minutes searching until you find a couple of the items. This is vey frustrating and I would recommend an update or change. Otherwise, the game is extremely fun and creative. I love the game and can’t wait for future updates!

Frustrating w/ no more assignments & golden tickets rule. I love the game, but when it comes to the assignments, I get frustrated when I run out of assignments and have plenty of golden tickets & they ONLY allow you to use 5 of them. Why can’t you use more than that if you have more?? So all the hard work I put in to get my score up high, but still have over a day left to play and all the hard work was for nothing. I was at least going to qualify for a prize, then I watched my score on the leaderboard drop below the “no prize” line. That to me is unfair. When you have enough golden tickets to buy more assignments, you should be able to use them. What else are they good for? You should at least raise the limit higher to the individual player’s amount of golden tickets. So if one player has only 5, then of course that player’s limit is 5. But if another player has 10, that player’s limit is 10. If another player have 20, that player’s limit is 20, and so forth.. Every player should make their own decision on how many golden tickets they want to use per assignment. If they use them up all in 1 day, that’s their choice, or if they want to use only 1 a day, again that’s their choice. The no more assignments with the golden tickets rule, needs to change ASAP!! Thank you.

Good. Some suggestions. Love simcity. Been playing it since the beginning of the old days back on PC. The app is a nice addition. But I wish we could have curved roads like in the old SimCity games and be able to place buildings diagonally on those roads. Wish we could build a interstate road too that goes above roads. Another thing I wish players could have is different city map designs. I wish we had different layouts to choose from instead of the rectangle shaped map all the time for everyone. Also wish there was a way for me to choose the design of a building when I upgrade it. It’s always random and I’m particular about what I want my city to look like. Some of the designs are good, but some are ugly. I keep bulldozing the buildings until I get one upgraded that I like the design of. I would love to have this feature for epic buildings too and allow me to pick the design I want instead of being random. Also can we make hospitals, police and fire stations upgradable so they cover more area. They can be a pain to place to make sure they cover your residential areas. Don’t like the wars or clubs because no one really helps each other out or chats. Other then that. Keep up the updates and improvements.

Wonderful game!. i really enjoy this game so far. i’ve only had it for around 2 days, but i’m already on level 13! i love how it doesn’t take time for the building upgrades to finish, for it only takes from 5-20 seconds in a stunning time-lapse process. you also don’t have to pay for main road extensions, which is great for players and awfully realistic for this kind of game. i also enjoy the fact that EA took great measure to ensure that their game had an accurate representation of pollution in several of the buildings, such as the Coal Power Plant or the Factories. they also included population, which efficiently helps upgrade your city. i’d also like to point out the Simoleons you obtain from residential upgrades is very realistic, as more people pay taxes for the mayor and the government. i know i’ve been pointing out everything i adore about this game, but truly, in my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with this game. one more thing- the thought bubbles above the buildings. some will give you efficient store items if clicked, some give you compliments, and some notify you they’re not getting power, water, sewer outflow, etc. i really believe Electronic Arts did an exquisite job with this game. i’d love to see more games as time goes on!

Frustrating. It’s a fun game, a good time waster but it’s annoying and grindy to play for the long term. Everything is expensive and takes forever, the game tries so hard to make you spend money it’s pathetic. You can actually see the game try to slow you down if you progress too fast, usually by selling more “junk” and less of the items you need. Space is always an issue, and I kept getting frustrated trying to fit all those buildings in such a small area because I can’t afford any of the land expansions. Not to mention this games push notifications are exclusively for in game offers (in app purchases) and never actually tells you when your que is done. Not to mention if your not careful if you build one building in the wrong spot it can put you $45k in dept due to building a new hospital, police, fire, waste, power, and water buildings that get more and more expensive and less and less effective as the game goes on. Constantly asking you to watch ads or buy something, it’s actually pathetic. I remember when this game was good and me and my dad would play it together. Now I have to remind myself reasons to not uninstall. Only play it if you have a lot of time to kill, and have no problem with games like clash of clans

Okay I figured it out! 😅😜😜😜😜😜😜😜. So first of all, I'm ten. And this game is amazing because I recently found out that later in this game, the sims start giving you video bubbles which you can get money from. Also later, you get to start a daily chest that can give you money, or materials. Use you're money wisely or you'll run out of it! Also be careful using your coins (I can't spell that other word for the coins). You will need them. I ran into a real challenge when I did not have enough coins at the fire station part. I could not make fire stations, and so some sims left there homes. There is some things I'd like to say. 1. You should not have to pay for more money. Instead, you should be able to go into the money and pay with coins, like you do with coins. You click the add coins, then you can get more coins using your money. 2. You actually have to wait like 20 minutes for materials to finish being made! You should, be able to wait like a minute! 3. When you get the part where you have to fight monsters, you do it once, then you can't get the materials because you don't know how! That's all I have to say. Creators please take my information and add it to the game! (But get this game!)

Great Game . . . . BUT!. I have really enjoyed playing this game, but! I started to notice some of the items I PURCHASED or PRODUCED were not showing up in my inventory. Even AREA EXPANSION items, or INVENTORY INCREASE items, items that increased your inventory by 5. That’s a lot of coins spent, and goods not delivered. I’ve voiced my concerns many times, but the straw that broke the camels back was the response that they were going to give me 6 seeds, 1 textile and 1 fruit & berry, and that was all they could do for me. which is not even close to what items I was shortlisted. The worst is when I was playing “timed events”, you have to rescrounge for items again. I admit this is an issue that is hard to resolve, there is no way for IT to go back into gameplay to see what is the root of the problem. In the end, I’m just giving up playing this game. Don’t need the added stress or handicap of the issue. The only thing they said pertaining to the problem was to play online, use only one device with a strong internet connection. Now if they were trying to troubleshoot the concern, you would think they would have asked me for circumstances of the problem. They’ve only said they’ll look into it, and get back to me. Not asking if I’m only using one device, or if I’m playing online.

Ads are ridiculous!. I love this game but the new update means you get ads constantly when trying to build items in your factories. Since that is a critical part of the game, I am forced to watch ads pretty much every other time I try to build resources. It’s enough to make me want to quit the game altogether because it just isn’t fun anymore. I’m a high level player and have had the game for years. I don’t mind watching ads for bonuses or to speed things up, but this is so ridiculous. ***update*** Ads are still annoying. I think they tried to fix how often they pop up but I really think it’s ruining the game. I don’t want to watch 60 seconds of an ad to speed up something that takes 60 seconds. 🙄 I’ve already lost one of my best club members because of this and I’m seriously thinking of quitting myself until they sort this out. It’s especially frustrating because even if you try to exit the ad, a second one pops up that you aren’t able to close. The other annoying thing is that it is pretty much impossible now to get the resources you need to expand. You used to be able to earn them by watching optional videos, which meant people were regularly selling them in the market. Now it’s basically impossible to earn them without spending money and no one ever has enough of them to sell them off. Such a bad move by the developers.

Improvement. I really enjoy playing this game and I would like to get new features to make it more fun to play. These are the following: 1. Make some kind of editor that would say “Edit City”, this would help players who begin with no plans on how to make a city plan. Therefore, it would be great to have this feature to make it easy to edit your city without causing population lost, have to rebuild roads, and have to sell extra buildings that end up wasted bc of the new “rebuild”, etc… It would be great to have different designs at least 3 different layouts of the city without losing any progress on the way. 2. Make it easier to buy items on the shop, I always struggle finding a specific item when I try to finish building, or having to use it for the daily challenges. 3. Reduce the ítems needed to expand the city, it will help speed up the game a bit more and be able to gain more experience on how ti manage a city. I will appreciate if this will be added on the game, I’m sure many will agree in some of these.

Enjoy the game.... Been playing now for a year and a half. I enjoy the game every day and look forward to growing my city. However, I would like to see some improvements: please change the statements for my citizens' opinion bubbles(seeing the same ones all the time is boring); I wish there was a comprehensive way to see a breakdown of all my cities' buildings by type, population, latest update date, etc; and although I enjoy the Mayoral Contests, I find it very difficult to finish in the top ten even though I only complete the assignments that have the highest point value. I understand that spending real money to finish higher in the standings is probably necessary(and even rewarded with higher point total assignments) however some mayors' point totals above me seem impossible for me to obtain without some kind of hacking of the game and that possibility makes me question even participating in future Mayoral Contests. Why spend real $$ trying to beat a cheater!!!" So now it is December 2019 and I am having problems after upgrading Mayors Pass Season 3. I cannot get into the game because I’m kicked out before my city appears. I have asked for an explanation and am told that “the team” is working on a solution. 3 days later I’m still waiting. Boiler plate responses and apologies just don’t do the trick. I have completed all updates of iOS, force-quit the app and reinstall the app but still nothing.

Good game … but …. When I first got this game I wanted to play nonstop!!!🙂 It was super fun, I got to build roads, building, houses 🏡. I loved it. But after a wile when I used up all my money 💴 and the sad 😢 part about it is you half to pay 💰 for more money! So after I had to pay for the SimCity cash and I was so sad 😭!!!! But there are a lot of options to pay for the money. I only bought a couple of dollars 💵 so I can make a little more houses and buildings. And the weird thing I’ve noticed is that they speak another language!!!!! I don’t think it’s a real language though but it is super weird!! And they look 👀 funny 😆 too!! In conclusion, this is a good app but as you have read there are some frustrating things! Thank you ☺️ for reading 📖 this review! Oh!! A couple of more things. I have had this game since I was 8 and I am 10 now!!! Also the money 💴!! I payed 10 dollars a day for 30 days. That is the maximum days. But the weird thing is that you can buy $250 for 4.00 and for the 10 dollars a day thing you get more than the 4.00 thing and the 10 dollar thing is only .99 !!!!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪weird!!! Well that I think 💭 this is the last thing I can talk to you guys. Thank you ☺️ for reading 📖 my review!!! This game is pretty fun!! Buy 🤗!!!!

Frustrating. I really like this game and I want to keep playing, but it is so frustrating. Firstly, expanding your land is so difficult. You need certain items and the game rarely gives you these items and you have about a 1% chance of finding them for sale from other players. Then, expanding your city storage is frustrating. The game gives you a ton of those items right up until you almost have enough, and then it just stops giving them to you. The game tries so hard to make you spend real money, and honestly Id feel better if I just never downloaded it. I want to play this game but I cant expand my territory without paying 24 simcash for EACH upgrade item!! Ridiculous!! I actually broke down and paid 2.99 to get 200 simcash, and it was only barely enough for one expansion, including the items I already had. Seriously this game is ridiculous!! Earning money hasnt even been the problem for me at all, like some other reviewers have said. To earn money you just have to produce and sell a lot. That is easy and feasible, and pretty fun as well. But expanding your city is difficult and frustrating. To the developers.. Please make it easier to expand!! Edit: The clubs are a cool idea, but there is no point in having them or the wars if I cant find a club that is active. Every club I join has like one post a week. I would like to participate in the wars, but I have been unable to find an active club that will allow me to do so.

So fun but the update drives me bonkers. So I have really enjoyed playing this game. However my biggest frustration is the update for ads. I don’t mind the ability to click on ads in order to get stuff. But I highly dislike that in the production setting it automatically starts an add to speed up the process of production. I think it’s a neat feature but I hate that I can’t click out of ads most the time and that it speeds up thinks like metal which only take a min to build and then the ad pops up for 30 seconds. I feel like it’s a waste. I also feel like they pop up too often and it rips me out of the game if I’m trying to produce a lot of metal and other short time items. I like the bubble ads that I can click on and they give me options. So maybe thats a better ideas. Like after you go to click off production, instead of automatically launching an ad, ask if they’d like to speed up production by watching an ad. I would be much more inclined to watch one on the long production items if it was a choice and I wasn’t forced to watch them. But half the time you can’t close the add until it’s basically over anyway.

Not fun after a week, plus annoying forced pop-up ads. I really miss the days when I had a choice to buy a game on my cell that was truly ad-free; it was worth the $10 to just be able to play the game without interuptions. So many games like this say they are free to play, which they are if you enjoy staring at a screen while you wait a long time for things to finish. The first week the game is fun, but soon the game gets boring while you wait for the raw materials, products and buildings to finish. There is nothing to do while waiting. It is all a big ploy to get you to spend money for speed ups. On top of that, this Sim game forces you to watch whole screen pop up ads that you cannot shut off. I really hate being made to watch ads for pirate or goldfish games. From now on I will read reviews, and when I see a game like this, I will not download it. I have deleted this on my tablet and phone and will just continue to play Clash of Clans which is much more fun. I have been playing Clash for 10 years and I have two accounts: my main acct that I have spent money on (because I like the game and wanted to) and the other supporting acct I spent no money on. Both accts are doing well. Unlike this silly Sim game, in Clash of Clans you have plenty to do while you wait for upgrades and training. I do not recommend this Sim game unless you like to waste you money on speed ups and enjoy watching pop up ads on your whole screen.

Epic Buildings need to go back to 10. I have had this game for a long time on many different accounts and have built a lot of cities. I remember when Omega was first introduced and when the mountain was put in! I also remember when Epic buildings were added to the game. It required 10 epic tokens to make that special building produce bronze tokens. The change you guys made needs to be undone. 40!!!! Really? That’s a bit excessive for a building to produce bronze tokens. That was really crappy of you. PS please for gods sake remove the club wars! This isn’t clash of clans. This game used to be a relaxing game where you can build your own little world and now it’s turn into pay to make your city better than everyone else. One last thing that needs to change is the traffic jams. There will literally be no traffic on the road and people will move out because of traffic jams. Come on that’s dumb, especially because there is a loop hole. Just bulldoze the road and then immediately replace it. The traffic jam complaints disappear and nobody complains and the sims move back in. Other than these issues I have with the game, it’s a great game. The graphics are fantastic and it loads up really fast. Great game it just needs to go back to the simple times. I have never battled that octopus thing and never will!

Suggestions! But good and enjoyable! 😊. I love this game! I also love the creators! I play sims almost every day! This game is great! But, I do have some suggestions... My first suggestion is to make it easier to progress. I always run out of money the first five seconds I start playing the game. My second suggestion is that there should be guides to build better cities. Because when I load up other players cities they look a lot more improved than mine when I come back and look at it. If I had a guide to follow to make something that looks like a city. (You should have a variety of guides to choose from to get the perfect city!) My third suggestion is that it is easier to get the bucks. When I buy some it runs out less than a second. Also I think my money runs out to fast to because I have non at the and of my playtime on this app which usually ranges from 5 minutes to 1 and a half hours. A little bit of other suggestions I have are that you should be able to make cities with your friends. Like having a special friend city world. If this was possible I would love it: In the game you are able to make wooden chairs and I this this city buildings should have a inside apartment where you can put all different furniture and have a sim walk around in there. You should also be able to see what’s wrong in there ( if anything ) like no power or water. About everything else I love in this game!😉

Ugh. I am getting EXTREMELY tired of the mechanic where an item is in great abundance on the market but takes HOURS to find the second you have a construction that requires it. There is no freaking way it is a coincidence. I know you think it’s smart to make it more difficult to find so your brain releases endorphins when you find it or whatever but TONE IT DOWN!!! The annoyance I suffer far out weighs any relief when I find the item. And when you do and press on it someone has already bought it. I’ve been looking for canned fish for over an HOUR. It wasn’t that hard to find right before I needed it. It’s not like it’s rare at all!!! I’m legitimately considering deleting the game just because it’s become such a time consuming process to upgrade this one building that requires it. Furthermore, they just recently added mandatory advertisements that pop up when you try to make something in your factory and you can’t exit out of them. It’s never beneficial, even it auto completes whatever you’re creating, more times than not you get a mandatory advertisement when you’re creating metal which only takes 60 seconds to complete and the ad is half that long. Or you’ll be trying to plan our resources for the future and suddenly get some items you have no need of until you’re other products are completed in a few hours and it fills up your storage space for a few hours. It’s only inconvenient.

Very Enjoyable- PLEASE CONSIDER NEW FEATURES COMMENTED. I really enjoy this game however there are some things i believe many players would agree would help if were available: 1. It would be nice you are able to look at your storage items when in another city. Sometimes i am looking for several items and since we are limited on time we cannot so easily go back to our city check what we need then go back to the city to buy any other items that are convenient. 2. I am usually in a hurry especially when it comes to challenges or when there is just too many items at the store i need. Having the option of popping a random bubble in another city really close to their store would save a lot of time. 3. It would also save a lot of time if it would just go straight to the city once it loads instead of slightly rotating around for a bit before you can look around or select anything within the city. 4. It would also be very very nice if there was a way of selecting only the items you need at a time in out factories. For example: I collect 5 items from my factory i need the 5th item but i cannot receive it unless i sell or use something in order to get the 5th item because i only have space for 4 more items when i could maybe for example hold the factory to move, or bulldoze, double tap to collect all items at the same time and tap it once to select the items i need first. I believe many players would agree if these features existed it would make the game more enjoyable!

Needs two More Features. I Love this game and the concept of it. I enjoy playing and it’s a good game to play when your bored. There’s only one thing I wish you could add. I remember playing Clash of Clans and you had the option to create 3 different layouts of your built city. For example, I would like to be able to experiment with different city layouts without having to ruin my primary city layout or I would like to be able to build an entirely new city with the stuff I already have. Another feature that I would like to have is the ability to search any item that your looking for on the global trade HQ. It’s incredibly infuriating when I can’t find the things I need and I hope you can change it and add a search bar to search all the listings of the thing you need. Because I noticed that there is this Filtration system that filters out things you need. And it doesn’t play Dumb either. I Mean it will Literally Filter out things that you need to make the ITEMS that you need! I mean seriously?!?! Your making the Global Trade HQ HELL ON EARTH! Please do something about this! These are features that I would love to have and I hope you could consider adding these features in the future!

SimCity. SimCity is an alright game, I would easily have given it 5 stars, but there are just too many flaws. The biggest being money. The game tries way too hard to get you to spend money on the game. First, expanding land is nearly impossible the further in the game you get, and can take a solid month just to expand a little bit. Then they try to get you to spend like 20 dollars on expansion equipment that won’t even be enough to expand. It’s ridiculous. Another flaw that just bothers me is how you can’t search for specific items in the shop. They’ll give you challenges where you need a surplus of supplies, nearly all of which you don’t have, and you can’t even find them in the shop. All you can find is the most expensive item from your level that you never need. One last flaw is when you try to upgrade your buildings. It used to be reasonable and still a challenge to upgrade where the first bronze upgrade cost 10 of those stars. They recently changed it to 40, and I have been unable to get it every time and just loose loads of money. To get that you’d need to be on the game 24/7, it’s b.s.. Before I wrote this review I actually had this game at 4 stars, but remembering everything that annoys me actually brought it down. Please fix some of these problems

Loved it up until a few days ago :-(. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this game. I'm not usually into these types of games whatsoever, but this is SO ADDICTING! Up until a few days ago I had no real complaints, however, lately my sim cash seems to keep vanishing. The first time I thought I pressed something by accident and made a purchase I couldn't figure out. Now it's happened again and I'm completely bummed! The first time I went from over $62 in sim cash to about 9 or 10... then I just got up to around $42 and it dropped down to $10! It may not seem like much to some, but sim cash is hard to come by and it took a while to earn that. I know it's just a game but it helps me relieve so much stress when I get a moment to myself to relax, and the game should be fair... I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but I hope this gets fixed. It's bothersome enough to make me delete the game. It takes away from the fun and makes it not worth the time or effort put into the game when you can just lose something you put so time into it. Please fix this! For some reason, I no longer get epic projects. Can someone fix this?

Great game, however there is one issue.. I have been playing this game for about three years now, and to call it a great game would be an understatement. However, there is an issue that I kindly request to be fixed. Ever since regions became available, the currencies for the regions are very scarce and mustering enough funds to build even the cheapest thing is a tough challenge. I think this makes it hard for players to be able to grow their cities in different regions and would take forever to do so. Shipment offers require a lot of products in order to get paid, and don’t even pay you their full worth. Even when sale offers are available, the amount of money the salespeople are willing to give you in exchange for goods is ridiculously low. For example, I get offered 2 Leaf Simoleons for a drill in the Green Valley region. Please introduce a tax revenue just like the capital city where you can make money much easier, and specialized trade depots for the specific currencies where you can sell things at a reasonable price based on what they are. I would really appreciate it if you guys took the time to read this and consider it. Thank you!

Love the game!. I love this game! I re-downloaded it a while ago and have since progressed my city to level 30 and amassed over 505,000 people. It has beautiful graphics, simple gameplay, and its just fun and honestly has almost a calming effect to it :) One feature I wish they would add is a sort of View mode where it would hide all the thought bubbles and construction bubbles and items so you could just view and admire your city as if you were visiting it. Expanding on that idea I think it would be awesome if they also added a ‘street view’ like you might use in Google Maps or something where you could pick a point and then have simple arrow controls to glide around using your streets (and possibly boardwalk for those of us who are level 15+) as a sort of track and you could just look around your city from the perspective of living in it. Also I think it would be neat to have a weather or changing climate based on random selection or that could sync with your local weather (Of course some players might want to be able to toggle this option on and off so probably best to add a toggle button in settings) Again, love the game and thank you for your consideration. 😄

I love this game but I CAN’T PROGRESS. So I would actually give this game a four or five star, but I am SO FRUSTRATED because I can’t make any more progress in the game. Here’s why: 1) Trying to expand land takes waaaaay too long, because the items needed to expand are near impossible to get! At the beginning of the game you get the items a lot, but after your city reaches a certain level, you have like a 1% chance of getting ONE of those items. So I can’t even expand my city any more, which means I can’t build anything more until I can “eventually” get 10-20 of three kinds of impossible-to-get items!! 2) The city storage in this game drives me nuts. I need to stock up on production items, land expansion items, etc. but the items needed to increase storage capacity are ALSO NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to find or buy from other players. Again, the storage items are readily available at the beginning but once you get to a higher city level, good luck ever finding even ONE of the storage upgrade items. PLEASE make the land expansion and storage upgrade items MORE ACCESSIBLE so that people can actually continue to play the game and progress. Sometimes you can buy these items (with real money), but even then it’s not often and it’s overpriced for what you get and how much of the items you need to progress.

Ridiculous In-App purchases. Overall I did enjoy some aspects of this app. As an aspiring architect I downloaded this game expecting the whole “you have to pay to get this exclusive building” with a few buildings. But here’s the thing. Almost EVERY nice building/placeable item is expensive. Not to mention the cash in game is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. 50$ for like 2900 cash? Yeah no thanks. Plus, it is almost impossible to gain the larger and more eco friendly factories/power/water etc. Also, in the beginning they do not tell you about any of the fire stations and stuff you need later on, so I went about my game until I realized I had to redesign my entire city to place one fire station in. I ended up redownloading the game and starting all over. I just think it’s extremely dumb to have levels in this game? And have to expand your city land? With items that I almost never get??! It’s insanity! The only good thing about this game is designing a city. But they make it so hard - and the buildings are too expensive for the amount of coins normal players have. I’m not going to spend 500$ to buy a non-pollution power plant. I don’t want to spend money on this game. Maybe if it was better designed and didn’t have levels i would. But until something is done about the cash/coin problem, I don’t recommend this game. However it is a good way to waste 7 hours to upgrade a house that only gives you like 200 coins :)

It’s a beautiful game... BUT. Well, I really love this game that much is true. However, I have one complaint. Why do construction bubbles exist? Why do they have to pop out? Or even better, why do we have to see them? Could you just create two ways to view your city? One that doesn’t always show bubbles and one that does? Because sometimes, I’d just like to see my city the way visitors would see it, without construction bubbles. Or if you could just deny the construction of a building, so that there can be some building diversities in my city and not just a bunch of skyscrapers. Even though those really look awesome. And if the player doesn’t want to deny that forever then, create a way where we can deny those building upgrades for a while (a long one, at least for a few days). I think that many players who build their cities in a planned way and for looks would agree with this... upgrade thoughts are annoying. And also, just something I was wondering about... why do residence upgrades require food? Can you make it so that those only need construction items? Because then we can use the food we make for economic growth, to earn money from that. Or maybe the food you make could be used to feed the city and keep it happy...? Kinda like those survival shelter games! You gotta have food to supply to your city! The food should also be used for exportation... economy growth!!

Great time passer. This game is a great way to pass some time and I’m sure it’s enjoyable to casual players, but I play the club wars and am trying to expand what I can as fast as I can and I find it frustrating. I’m not sure what algorithm you use to determine what we see in the global trade hq, but it’s always 80% spices, 19% basic supplies like wood and metal, and 1% what I actually need. Then, by the time I load the city to go buy what I need, it’s already gone! This is frustrating when I am on a time crunch with shipments (especially for war) and the item I am looking for takes 20+ minutes to craft. Additionally, it’s frustrating that you have sewage and power and factories and stuff all making pollution, but you have to go to their individual categories and try to picture the sum total of all the pollution to determine how to build. It would be nice to see an option for a total pollution overlay. I also get annoyed that there is not an easy way to see the inventory (unless you are in your city and go to the storage building) or see what war attacks you have and items you need for them (without going into the war screen, which causes you to leave your city, and then go through two sub menus).

Great game, but oh my god, THE SPICES. I only have one gripe about this game. The Spices. For those who are new to playing the game, there is an item called “spices” that can be used for trading, building, and making products, but mostly trading. This gets annoying when you are trying to buy items from the trading depot. Picture this: you are so close to completing a building upgrade. All you need is one item that takes 3 hours to produce on your own, but with some luck, you can just buy 3 of them for about 800 simoleons. You head to the trading depot and the only item you see is spices. All the trading slots are filled with spices. All of them. Every single one. Admittedly, that’s on a bad day. On average, about half of the slots are full of spices. Now, you may be wondering “why is everyone getting rid of spices?”. Well, that’s because nobody needs them. They are only good for making one or two items that aren’t usually needed for construction or trading. Long story short, spices take up far too many trading slots every single time I try to trade and it needs to change. Literally everything else about the game is fine. This is the only issue. Change this, Game Devs. C’mon, this is easy.

Predatory App Design. The bottom line is that this game has been engineered so tightly that the only way to advance or accomplish anything is to spend actual money. Any attempt to intellectually feel out the game’s possibilities will only lead to the discovery of a 30ft invisible pay wall firmly constructed at your city’s borders. This pay wall cannot be penetrated, although it can be slowly and meticulously expanded by grinding it out and collecting meager taxes from you citizens. This wouldn’t actually be that bad if there were more freedoms such as terraforming or choosing your climate (such as existed in previous mobile versions). In this game, you start off and continue to tend your city in the same pre fabricated terrain and climate as all of the other thousands of people who downloaded the game. The direction EA has gone is especially sad for SimCity, because the mobile market is where this game really could have survived into the next decade, but with lackluster PC offerings I have a feeling this franchise is just about dead. It looks like they will try to ride the last little wave by providing a cookie cutter sandbox, soft shapes and bright colors and the thinking, or lack thereof, to go along with it. I’m sure I’ll just be overlooked as the “curmudgeon” that likes those old boring “complicated” games in which you have to do ALL that thinking, but this is just disappointing. This game is a one or two week deleter taking up valuable space on my device.

Simcash beware!. Overall a familiar sim - the bigger you get the more things cost and so on. Not a bad thing, I mean it’s a proven model and works for any number of other games. Good graphics and multiple ‘trade up’ mini sub trades within, but also a few annoying traits - like roads being ‘busy’ and forcing an upgrade with no clear reason, annoying messaging you can’t remove, pushing you to complete challenges and get country themed building you don’t need. Biggest bug bear by far though is the ease (such as an inaccurate touch) of spending simcash. There is no confirmation click required, and as it can relate to real cash is a major flaw (and arguably a technical work around for apples terms which wouldn’t allow click and spend with no auth). The buttons to spend simcash are everywhere, so beware!

Why Are Most Features Unavailable?. Most features within this game are unavailable and there is never any explanation for it. I have played this game on various other devices and yet, this time I download it on my personal I pad, most things are unavailable! I am always given a message saying “this feature is currently not available” on both the airport and trade centre. Knowing from past play throughs, I have all that is needed for both features and can’t understand why! I am not sure if this was an update that changed this, but I think not because there is no trace of this issue anywhere! An explanation to this would be great and much appreciated and hopefully I am not the only one with this troublesome issue.

Help us make our cities better. Been playing for years, blah blah blah, and I’m always tinkering with my city to get maximum advantage by placing the best buildings in the best locations. But what I would really love to be able to do, is set my city into zones with like buildings together. The normal buildings don’t look too dissimilar to London towns which don’t look too dissimilar to French ones. It would be good if we could highlight a building and it identify as French or London or whatever. I’ve considered demolishing residential in favour of higher density buildings, but I’m not always sure who’s who in the zoo. So fix this and it’s 3 thumbs up from me. Until then, it’s still 2

Beware of War Cheaters. I’m yet to come across another game that looks great but the only issues are if you want to progress faster or want certain items you’ll find the price is way to high for normal play and you’ll have to pay. I don’t mind wars but the prizes aren’t worth it, If it was something similar to the contest of mayors seasons with buildings to win then maybe it’ll be worth it. Also make war items separate to storage I have around 40 items taking up valuable room and often have to sell, just do it like the omega storage keep it separate BUT the big one is teams that sit under shields for over a day there needs to be an automatic forfeit or force teams out after a few hours my team has been up against too many cheats. The new land options are affecting my main city, why should deliveries and contests need these items when the city isn’t even on the same map. There are so many simple solutions that would make the game more enjoyable

Latest update; irritating!. I love this game and have been playing it for over a year now, but with the latest update (mid-October 2017) connecting to the global market and mayors challenges is a real struggle - constantly telling me I need to be online to access it, when there is nothing wrong with my internet connection! Also the wars, it should absolutely be optional! I haven't yet been targeted in an attack, nor do I want to! I'm more focused in building my city and collecting special buildings rather than being attacked and having to rebuild my city constantly. So please, in the next update, make it optional! The game also seems to quit a lot for no reason, especially irritating on my iPad! Aside from those (kind of major) flaws, the game is great and very addictive!

Why.... PLEASE NOTICE THIS WILL HELP YOU DEVS. Sim city use to be good but over the years it’s got worse and you can’t restore you old city or something you bought before deleting the game. The things you can buy has a stupid price usually and the fact you can’t get back you old city of restore some thing you bought because when you delete the app like say by accident and you download it back the game resets and doesn’t let you Get back what you use to have like stuff you have bought and your city. I honestly think the games not good for a lot of reasons but there’s to much to explain or tell. This really is not good and triggering. I hate the game now please fox and I might rate five and come back... maybe...

Fun but annoying and broken ads. The stupid market is consistently filled with nothing but sugar and spice. Which is painful. Mark the market more usable, with more flexible pricing. I’m happy to watch an ad or play interactive ad, but when it gives you nothing it becomes frustrating and prevents me from watching or playing more. At least apply some quality control to your ads. Also the assignment center would majorly benefit from help or description text being available for the assignments as I can’t work out what many assignments are, and just fail them eg “Upgrade a catus canyon zone” I assumed this meant a residential zone but apparently not..... ???

Play ground mode needed. Hi sim city developers. I truly enjoy this game and I this that it is awesome. However I have a suggestion that you may use in the future and that is playground mode. Playground mode is a mode where you have infinite money, keys etc and have access to every building. Please add this feature to sim city so that new people get to experiment with different city layouts and see what they can add to their actual city. This feature is awesome and I think that these players will also enjoy having playground mode. Another way this is good is for the new players joining. They can practice how to build and upgrade and learn how each building works. Thanks for having the time to read this I appreciate it. Please add PLAYGROUND MODE thanks :)

The New Regions Are A Bit Of A Let Down.. The game is awesome. Now I’ve seen loads of people disliking club wars and I’m not really too fussed on them either but I just don’t do them mostly. Then EA added different regions and I was so excited. I stopped playing a while ago but after the last update I decided to pick it back up again. But now I realise that if I’m in the Sunny Isles region and I need a nail for a building upgrade, I have to go back to the Capital City to make the nail at the Hardware Store and then go back to Sunny Isles, only to realise I need something else and go back to Capital City. Why can’t we just have a Hardware Store in both regions. Pretty disappointing

Fix war attacks. Previously when you used to launch an attack during a war, you could tap on an opposing city just before the hit took place and relaunch the same disaster class. After fixing A7, you broke this feature. Now you have to tap on a city, select the disaster class, launch the attack then the game throws you back to the war screen and you have to tap on the city again, then select the class, then launch the disaster…over and over again. This is really tedious, time consuming and frustrating. Why is it when you fix one thing, you break something else? Please reinstate the way the attacks worked previously so those of us who love to war can once again enjoy the experience. Thanks!

Riddled with glitches.. This game started well enough. It was entertaining and fun to play. But the developers couldn’t leave well enough alone. Club wars were introduced, Design challenges, Dr. Vu’s monster, all manner of things that have only served to slow down play, and add countless glitches to play. The number of times I am incorrectly told I’m playing off line happens dozens of times a day. Access to Global Headquarters is patchy, every third or fourth time a message tells me to check my internet connection. My internet is rarely offline when I get these messages. All I can do is put the game down and resume play when it is ready. Back up and assistance from the troubleshooting team is nonexistent and basically the answer to any problems is to ask if you have tried rebooting the device. Shockingly bad, worse than one star. ZERO stars.

Great game! Just one little thing.... I think Simcity is a very enjoyable game. In the 2 years I have been playing, no other game has made me as passionate about my progress than this one. In my countless hours I so see ways that the game could be improved. I would like to see the game have some aspects where us players can make changes that mayors are considered being responsible because as it goes now it appears as if I am playing as just a city developer. An example this could be done is letting us be able to manually adjust the tax rate that we charge our population. The tax rate would then directly relate to the happiness (more tax equals less happy people) which would then impact how easy it is to upgrade buildings (smaller tax rate makes it easier to upgrade buildings) Another example could be having elections for town hall and different candidates provide different advantages for the city (a roads minister makes it cheaper to upgrade roads, a PR manager doesn’t allow happiness rate to go below a certain point etc.). This could be done by the players ourselves narrowing down a range of 10 people to 5 and then the people putting in their votes and 3 with most votes are elected. I really hope that the developers see this and adjust the changes with could make the game much much better than it already is

Great game at first, stops being fun when everything costs too much. Buildit is really fun for a while but eventually the rate of growth is staggered to the point where it will take literally 30x longer to get something (such as upgrading a residential building) than it did before even though you get the same thing. The pace just slows down way too much before you can even get near the expansion to other regions. I don’t even know why the game has OMEGA facilities change in cost as you progress. You reach a point in the game where there is still so much to explore but there is simply a barricade of expense and time that keeps you from it unless you spend ridiculous amounts of money on the in-game currency.

Hardcore cities skyline fan loves this game!. As a hardcore pc city building game namely cities skyline fan, I thought I would hate this game with its limited creation potential and what looks like tones of micro transactions. But it turns out I’m hooked to this game! The managing aspect of this game is really fun and challenging, this is especially true when competing in the Mayer’s competition. The competition also gets really heated up at the last few tiers, because this is where you can earn almost $100 worth of simcash!!! But of course you don’t always win on the first try, you will need to manage your production and time to a high level to be able to beat other player’s scores to get those juicy simcash. Once you win, you can repeat and win again, which means you never need to spend any real money. Not to mention the community is super friendly and eager to help each other out. Highly recommend joining a guild. I spend a total of $2.50 on this game not because I needed it, is because I wanted to support the developer.

Selling. Can you please fix the fact that whenever you go to buy something theres too many of the same items in there for eg cinnamon and sugar and many other items is there a way you can keep it to a minimum or to search what you need cause its so hard to find anything you need. Also im finding it hard to increase my storage is there a way you could make it easier to get items to increase it or when you do increase it make it by ten and not 5

Club Wars is your worst idea yet.. I’ve been a long time fan of SimCity, and this game used to be awesome. I enjoyed building my city, completing the challenges of the Contest of Mayors and I am even happy to unleash a few disasters with Vu Tower. After all, disasters have always been a feature of SimCity. But Club Wars is not something I want to play, and the fact that it directly inhibits my game by being part of the contest of mayors is not fair to those of us that have no interest in destroying other people’s cities. When I came back to this game after not having played it for a while, I was really disappointed to discover this new feature. Features like club wars should be an optional upgrade, not a requirement. I just want to build my city, complete a few challenges and unleash the occasional alien invasion on my unsuspecting sims.

Strangled behind paywall. The game isn't too bad but, it really, really tries to strangle your progress and force you to spend real money. It’s annoying and blatantly obvious even from the very get go of the game. Constant pop ups to buy in-game cash, building materials being fairly quick to build yet 1 type will take a very long time slowing you down (Nails anyone?) and also storage. Most games have a fairly linear progress with this model of game where as SimCity hits you will a massive wall nearly straight away. If you can handle that, go for it. Otherwise, stay away. Your wallet will thank you

Really fun game!. I really do enjoy this game, I recently got back into it and am happy to find my main city still exists. One thing I’d like to suggest though, would be the ability to put all your buildings, police, fire, parks, roads, and everything else into like a big I guess edit mode, where you can redo the whole layout of your city without having to forfeit the happiness of your sims as well as having to bulldoze upgraded roads. I just know that I need to reorganise my entire city to get maximum population from parks etc, but I’m not made of money so I don’t have the simoleons to afford to bulldoze and redo all my roads. Hopefully you guys see this review and can make something like this happen, as I know it works well in other games. Overall still a really great game, just a quality of life improvement I’d say :)

Best City Game Ever!. So I have been playing this game from 2014 and I just have to say it is the most interactive and addictive game in the world. Unfortunately, I lost my first account when I was on level 63 and quit the game for a while. In 2017 I joined back on a new account and I have to say these new updates are awesome. Some things I would recommend in this new update is to maybe make the Epic Projects easier to achieve and get because I find it really difficult to earn Epic Points when you need 40 of them. Overall, this game is really addicting and fun, I recommend this game to everyone who wants something new to play. Thanks! Keep up the Good Work!

Great game, hate the war addition. I got Simcity Buildit a couple years ago, took a year off playing and recently got back into it. I see they’ve added the war thing. I hate this. I do not understand how Wars fit into the game. Why do we need to destroy other cities etc. Prizes are already available in COM. Speaking of, while I like COM, if you add war in there is too much to balance, and is too hard. Rant over. Otherwise I like the game, takes a while to build up the city but looks good and give sense of achievement. Clubs are great and COM too just not wars. I’m in a COM only club which chooses to not focus on wars, just trade and COM.

Quality of life needs work.. First of all I would like to address the speed of progression. A lot of people feel it is pay to play. I want to establish here and now that video games can be hard. Just because they take extra time does not make them unfair, it just tests a different aspect of your personality. If you don't like this game it is simply not for you. However! There are some massive flaws not in the style but in something called "fair end ethical gameplay". Pushing players to achieve goals outside of their reach can be a good way to engage players into a long term commitment however you are clearly punishing players that decide to go their own way. Whether a game is free or paid it needs to have 1 clear aspect to make it ethical and fair. The player gets to choose how they play the game. These new tasks that permanize buildings have got to go or they need to be moved to a less constricting building. The speed up building at level 24 I have issues with on a more personal level. I don't like the building and would prefer it not to exist. My OCD has trouble with its existance.

It’s perfect! Well, NEARLY…. You guys have poured so much into this game and I can’t express how awesome it is. Players can do a lot without making real life purchases, but you leave plenty of tempting opportunities to do so if one wishes to, which I have done in the past. The way you do this is just perfect, and you must make a bit of money from it. My one single complaint is in regard to off-game notifications. I would love to have options in the settings for what kind of notifications a player wants turned on or off. I’d love to receive MESSAGE notifications when not in the game, while being able to turn other notifications off, such as contest updates and monster appearances. The messages are crucial when your club is engaged in a war, and I’m often too distracted by other things to think about going on the game to check in all the time. When others are online and wanting to coordinate an attack, I’d like to know straight away without needing to have the game open. Our club has worked around this somewhat by connecting through discord and messenger, but not all players use those avenues, and we only use it like 10% of the time. Another thing I’d love to see, is when you’re viewing players in game, you can see if they’re currently on the game or not. It could be indicated by a green dot beside their name.

Fantastic Game....but...... I am going to be quitting the blue print challenges. Missing a finishing time is literally day ruining. Because of the time zone you base everything around, mine finishes at 4pm. WHEN I AM BUSY. I get it, you want player interaction, but I am sick to death of wasting my time building them to have one of two things happen; (1) I miss the submit time……😵‍💫 You know what, if I miss it, how about you just take a random pic and still ENTER ME?? Seriously. Also, (2) a city with water and trees around it with a castle and some things win EVERY CHALLENGE. Beach? Water and trees. Winter wonderland? Good old water and trees. Oh it’s Feb? Better change that up to a love heart. No one, NO ONE is winning for design. I’m assuming it’s a private game the rest of us don’t get to play because we’re on the wrong discord server or something. What is the point in being creative when the same designs/people win? That’s not a game, that’s rigged cartel behaviour. There’s so much to maintain in this game once you get to level 92 like me, so hey, if we’ve invested that much into your product, wanna give a little something back? Cause, man, I don’t get anything 99.9% of the time I level up, don’t you care about my dopamine levels 😉

Great game variety of tasks. Game suggestions. Better representation needed though.. Like the variety of tasks from Contest of Mayors to Wars. Just in Com don’t make task queues on longer production items too many bulk items, eg. Things like drills and fire pits, make just a few needed. Also allow us to search and message any club member, other than in our own club, similar to how we can search for a club, by name and #tag or member ID, and be able to invite them to our club. City Design Challenges, after items borrowed are returned to us, have building etc from our cities and regions returned to location we had them in rather than inventory, and so be able to just relocate items to our design challenge city and back again more easily. Time consuming to then return items to where we had before, tears up our cities too much. Better representation Re Events track: Ramadan event buildings there but not Christian Easter - no churches, stations of the cross, hot cross buns or similar. Why was Christian Easter ignored? Same with Christmas. Bunnies and candy canes only? True diversity and inclusion should include Christian icons and those from the other major faiths, not just one. Disappointing. Please try to include these others too.

Great game. This is a great game for people that like building there own city’s an let their imaginations run wild I think the offline side of it is great and the online side of it is good too I like the online side of the game more I like how you get to join clubs and destroy other city’s but it could be better I think it would be good if you make some option to talk to people outside of your own club and when you invite people to your group you have no idea what war rank they have I would like to see those two things in future updates apart from that this is a great game 👍🏻

i love almost everything. this game is very entertaining, i’ve become quite fond of it and definitely recommend to others. However, i do have one issue. Bubbles. And I am not talking about chat bubbles, i love those. I’m talking about bubbles that do not go away when pressed, or until you finish the goal they request (such as epic buildings). I play sim city to calm myself, and i know it sounds silly but i hate having the unmovable bubbles pop up, especially when their request is very high demanding for a non-worthy reward. I really wish these features were optional. For example, since i got the clock tower and the epic building requests have begun i’ve been debating deleting, then re-downloading the game to start over but not get the clock tower in my new city. I do not want to do this as the game has been quite time consuming (not complaining), so starting fresh will feel like a waste of effort. I hope someone reads this and at least considers the change, some of us only play for the simplistic features. That is my only problem, everything else about the game is very enjoyable.

Used to be a great game, but.... I used to enjoy playing this game, it was still an enjoyable game and you could still progress when you weren’t able to log in every 5min... Then, they have added more and more rubbish to distract from the main purpose of the game, and require more and more log ins. In all of this, they haven’t driven a higher need to make purchases (which is a saving grace) which makes me wonder what the point of the upgrades really is... why? A recent upgrade to allow shield breakers into war games is actually disadvantaging one team. We are a team who haven’t come up with the right level of points / whatever’s to earn the shield breakers but frequently come up with other teams who are able to use 10+ breakers on each city in the war and rack up seriously one sided scores. I get part way through making the repair item and it’s healed with the shield breaker and I have to start making a new item... And now there’s some pointless rubbish about a monster is this latest update. I’m close to logging off permanently.

Please change the epic buildings and the omega. This is one of my favourite games it’s so realistic but the epic buildings are so hard to get you have to have forty epic points to pass the turtle tier. And some buildings are so expensive or need lots of SimCash. Also when upgrading omega homes they require lots of materials. Why can’t you have a omega factory to produce the omega materials or at least be able to choose the materials you want. There should be a mode where you can rearrange the city instead of and making sims upset. Some buildings that needs golden keys to buy if you buy it then decided to get rid of it it won’t give you a refund it should at least give you some Simoleons or a few keys. Also sometimes weird glitches or unusual things just happen. I dislike the fact that you don't get any rewards for levelling up it just makes the game harder.

A few bugs but good. I have been playing for a few years and on multiple iPads and I am loving it. As I am writing this I am waiting for the docks to build and the animations are great. Here are a few things: 1. Global trade centre (if that is what is is called) is not working. I already have 20,000 peeps and I only need 10,000. Same bug with mayors club and 1 other. (iPad 6 up to date) 2. I am not sure if this is a bug but I am getting every building upgrade as nails and others. I can’t get enough nails with only 1 building with no trade centre. I wish you could build multiple shops of the same type. 3. Level 25 to get a 2nd city?! Lower it to 20 or something plz. 4. When the Santa’s workshop closes, make all building upgrades that need it’s stuff no longer need it. Now I have to wait a year... I just found out that you can ask for new building plans! (Edit) That’s all I have to say but please make the game a bit better. Thank you

Is this a weird glitch or?. I am a big fan of sim city, it is one of my favourite games of all time. But while I was upgrading some of my buildings, it suddenly said that I had no police or sewage and water shortage etc. All the buildings that had these problems clearly had coverage by everything and it did not make sense and soon, all of my building were abandoned due to “no police”. This is a weird glitch and has ruined my whole city as everybody had abandoned they’re houses and I don’t even know why since everything was in check. Please fix this. It’s very annoying.

Typical EA. Yet another failing of EA to produce anything of quality. The game in traditional EA style has so many features to buy, and at extremely expensive rates too, that it’s clearly just a game that’s designed to cash in on the SimCity name, make as much money as possible...meanwhile killing the franchise. However, the problems don’t end there. The game is complex enough as it is, but fails to provide adequate control to users and relies heavily on randomisation for item drops, shipping, and global exchange. Furthermore, it doesn’t reward good planning and hard work of the players, as when you look to expand and level up, the game is intentionally designed to put you at a loss, and force you to spend the next while trying to catch up with the demands of your city, whether it be services, utilities, or worst of all, the tourist information in regional zones. The original Sim City was brilliant, diverse, afforded ample control to the user, and rewarded smart play. This game is just a cash cow for EA and has ruined the best attributes of the old game and is now no different to every other Smart Phone civilisation/building game

EA why.... Overall I recon this game is great however if your not really into cheesy things I would not recommend it. This game was great back in 2013 when I started playing it, time passed by and updates were normal. However as Time progressed the updates got cheesier and cheesier and these updates made new players like me who don’t regularly play the game feel weighed down as we just started playing and barely have the requirements to unlock the countless items mostly introduced to players a much higher level. Now (2018) the updates just keep on going, but (in my head) “hey I’m lvl 40 I should have unlocked most of the content” (which I did eventually) there comes a new feature about a clan city battle thing with lasers and orbital canons and man made earth quakes... that’s when I stopped playing... In conclusion... If this is the game your looking for, get it. If it isn’t, well why are you even reading this and why are you in the game page...? Oh and one more thing. It also feels like you need to use money too actually level up at a constant rate. Lol what am I saying it’s not like you would put any micro transactions in your games... oh... oh wait.. . I mean... at least you guys didn’t add loot boxes. If you did then that would be just stupid... Please don’t... don’t.... pls. pls notice me...

Mayor rewards. I am so disappointed For those who play the game know the mayor challenges, I came 2nd in the challenge right and my reward was 8 golden keys speed tokens and cash, I worked so hard to get 2nd place. I waited for the challenge to end then I click on the tower as you do to collect your prize and I never received it, in the game that is a lot of effort to even get 1 golden key but to miss out on 8 it’s really upsetting. So after that I emailed ea and they replied saying they are looking into it yet 3 days later a new challenge has started and I’m lacking responses from them and all I get is “we have our people looking into it” Coming from someone who has played this game for many years and who has spent money on the game and has never cheated (which so many people do and you can tell who does) I’m so disappointed this issue hasn’t been fixed I’ve never once had a problem until this new update where they got rid of seasons and put some new mayor thing which you again need to pay money for (not fair at all) I have loved this game so much up until now I have been let down and not taken care of as a customer to there product I’m more then disappointed and want this fixed immediately.

House building and infrastructure. I love these sorts of games. But, what I noticed is that housing requires a constant stream of materials coming into the city. Nails, wood, bricks etc. This, although it made me pay more attention to the game, is not particularly that great to me. The fact that I need to manually build houses and upgrade them, kinda put me off this game. I'd rather spend my time on Cities:Skylines, and game for most consoles and PC, not on mobile. Even though you have to pay for it, it feels so much smoother than this. I would definitely recommend that over this. And also, modding and expansion seems so much easier pn there, than on this. Another thing I found annoying is the road system. I just don't like it. First up: It makes roundabouts for you, especially in a 4 way intersection. So far, I haven't found a way to make a really nice interchange, and I doubt I will. Secondly, I found most of the Sims ( is that what they're called?) didn't use my roads. They will always use the fastest way, which get jammed up. When offered other routes, they won't take it. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. Maybe if they were interested in the Sims series. If they had a PC or Console, then I would definitely say to get Cities: Skylines. Consoles don't really get modding capabilities, but the DLCs and Content Creator Packs, make it fun. If they don't have any of those, too bad.

Best game but.... Hey guys, I actually love this game and probably spend way to much time and money on it haha. I have to say everything is great apart from the cost of things. I’m trying to open my airport for $80k but I can’t even get close to getting it because the money you have to spend to buy healthcare, police, fire, water etc, upgrade shops and the ROADS!! My god the roads, I literally just spent over $16k on upgrading a road for the 4th time and the amount of money is ridiculous. How are we actually supposed to get anywhere when everything costs an arm and a leg?? If you could cut down the amount of times needed to upgrade roads OR the price, this would be great!! Other than this, I love it!!

Great game; too many crashes. I love sims and sim city was one of the first I ever played via a disk on a computer in the early 2000s. As much as I love this game with all the features of war, mayor contests and regions, I hate the frequent crashing. Sometimes I can’t even play as the game crashes as soon as I open it and even when trying multiple times it still won’t stay on. Sometimes in time sensitive challenges my game has crashed causing me to miss out on completing challenges or collecting speed up tokens. Very frustrating and disappointing! Hopefully there’ll be an update to fix this!

Bad changes. So the latest change is to epic buildings, as if it wasn’t already hard enough to complete an epic building it has been made even harder, it’s not even worth bothering with it, not being able to sell omega items is stupid, you end up with a pile of items you can’t use filling the inventory, upgrading omega storage and neo bank is ridiculous, omega canisters should supply omega items only, but no you get 1, 2 or 3 items and a pile of normal items you don’t need, now to wars, they should be fast paced, no cool downs, shorter prep and war times and the rewards at the end should be a lot better and make it easier to get the attacks unlocked, I have been playing wars constantly since it started and still only have half of the attacks opened, while there are aspects of this game I like, the changes that are continually made are deliberately done to try and force you to pay

Progress is incredibly difficult. Downloaded this game again as I had played it a few years ago and enjoyed it but it has become increasingly apparent that you HAVE to buy Simoleons to get anywhere in the game. I made a point to not spend a cent of my own money to see how far I could get and the game just keeps getting harder and harder to buy even the most simple of stores or government buildings when relying solely on the coins generated in game from building upgrades and taxes. It’s impossible to get any kind of coin built up when there are so many things you need to spend money on at once and all at such insane $$ values. Like $22,000 to upgrade a road, like come on guys, this is ridiculous. Sort it out.

Really great game. Excellent game for those looking for something more patient and chilled. My biggest gripe is that as you progress, it becomes impossible to unlock areas of the map legitimately. I don’t have the time or devices to make ‘feeder’ cities and I’m now at a point where I have nothing to do other than collect taxes and hope I’m gifted area expansion items (which are extremely rare) If the frequency of these was slightly higher it would be a lot more enjoyable!

SUPER IMPORTANT. This game is so good. However I do feel that the game needs some more stuff considering I don’t feel like playing that much anymore, some would be being able to build bridge like roads (not paying for them unless you upgrade) and also being able to build them on roads so it’s not restricted to water. More space would be great and making the game quicker. Everything takes waaaaay too long. Being able to get buildings and much larger city area would be great. With the city area I feel it is way too difficult to expand so please make that easier EA. Also being able to design residential buildings to make it unique like a real construction site in real life! Also getting more rewards would be great and making it easier. I do feel like the bridges and the custom buildings are super important to add. It would also be great to have way more customisable stuff like shopping malls and as I said before custom buildings. Otherwise the game is good but needs more stuff or players like me would be getting bored as I am. PLEASE SEE THIS EA.

Great game but needs a bit more realism. I remember when this came out, very popular and it kind of still is today! But here’s some tips EA, First, Maybe make it more something like city skylines, where factory’s actually... yknow make the area around it polluted. Secondly, to get that “Sims” Vibe, make it so you can make your own sim and use avatars for more customisation. Lastly, Maybe make a loan system, for example let’s say you wanna buy that brand spanking new deluxe factory, but looks like your out of money, you can click on the government building and takeout a loan to afford it, then afterwards you have to pay it back over time If these are added, I’d love to get back into the game.

Epic Projects & more. Hi I love this game but there are a few things I want you to change 1.Epic Projects: Epic Projects are TO Hard for me, like I haven’t finished my first project because I need 40 of those epic points and I can’t change the specialisation even if I put park all around the building so please make the Projects easier. 2. Mayors Club, War Club and Global Trade HQ: So I’m on level 27 and I’m pretty sure I should have them by now. Because whenever I press them it always says ‘this is unavailable right now’ and it’s extremely annoying and frustrating so please let me unlock them and and also make the Epic Projects easier thank you

Very good. This is also one of my favourite apps on my phone. It almost has no limits, you can build anything, your dream city or even your city. The modelling and sound effects are perfect and it gives this game a really iconic atmosphere. The only thing is that the dev should make it so when you upgrade omega zones you get neo coins instead of sim coins. The dev should also add Gas stations, train stations and subways. You should also make it so you can decide where to put the airport, trading HQ and trading depot so that you can fully get customisation. That would make the game a lot more cool. Either then those small things, this game is a awesome game. Probably the best city game on the App Store

Games awesome, latest update Glitch City!. Been playing this game for about a year, literally the only game i play and I really enjoy it. Generally its a slower game where you can just chip away and make slow progress. I like that, it makes it that nothing is easy and a good self of accomplishment when you make achievements. I highly recommend this game, I actually started this game in a bid to ween myself off social media. Totally works and Im never on it anymore, all spare time is on the game! I do have to say with the latest update for xmas, I am having massive issues with it continually saying that I have connection issues.. and that is between, work, home, train, office, wifi, 4G.. It doesn’t seem to change even with high speed internet at the office. Its a bit frustrating when I know I have a good steady connection.

Add real statistics and make the game more easier to complete and the regions should be removed. Games good except please make unlocking more land easier or cheaper and also please make assignments in contest of the mayors easier please don’t add produce and collect assignments they are the worst Oh and plz just plz make the game more real and sensible what’s man made orbital cannons and man made earth quakes supposed to do with building a city and Also plz add maintenance things in the game like how does a coal power plant magically make power for your own city and also how does a city have to have so many skyscrapers like you can’t boost your population without upgrading buildings and also plz make building buildings sensible like not upgrading them 5 times but instead building them from to start also in the new update regions are too slow going and boring I think they have to be removed from sim city permanently

Needs more land expansion, less city wars. I began playing this game many years ago, and have played and enjoyed each and every SimCity game since the very first one all those years ago. This game is great... until you have reached the city limits and can’t expand the land further. To counter this, it appears the developers are trying to flood the game with new things to do, for instance the city wars, but they are not what the game was about. In the next update, please please please for the love of god please expand the land so that we can continue playing the game as it was intended. I miss creating items to build and upgrade new buildings.

Brilliant. Naturally I love this game since I played the pc version. I found that many believe it has tons of ads and takes to long to get stuff. But it only gives you ads when you request rewards. I completely support this. Also when others say it’s too long to get materials I say that it is the point of the game to be a game where you meant to leave it to play in the background and I love those games. I love that they were able to make a pc game to a mobile game and I play it every day.

Good game. I have not spent any real money on this game, you dont have to either... But you need patience build the city slowly and you wil get the real experience... However some farmland would be good, be able to build another city... Need to tell new people to the game to save the items for expansions otherwise you sell them and then need to buy back... It can get annoying with all the upgrades to vus tower. Parks shouldnt need to be road accessed they can fill spare holes in the design... Roundabouts would be a good idea to save power lol... A river running thru the city is another idea bit like the picture on the game... Otherwise fun to build... lost sound when upgraded to new ios

Sandbox Mode. Just my suggestion, yes this game is fun…but you get to certain points when you just can’t do anything and I’ve uninstalled this game 3 times now because my city just goes nowhere I’m at the point when I haven’t got enough money to buy things that I need right now and I’m definitely not paying money for it. So I always wanted a sandbox mode where you can say goodbye to monetary limits and just build your dream city. I only suggest this because building cities is something I really enjoy and I just can’t get my full satisfaction by playing this normal mode because of to many roadblocks

Mr Agreed. What "your annoying neighbour" said yep, took the words right out my mouth. Been playing this since the early days, if anything I'm surprised I gave the game a chance since app games really were a bore.. that being said this game started to become quite addictive >> fast forward I'm not playing as regularly.. but I'm lvl 40 too yet there's this vibe I'm getting "enter your card details" "spend real money to get those cool looking extra things" since being so limited to customisation.. like limited, wanting to actually be creative I understand you have to put in work in.. but well what "your annoying neighbour" said, 100% how I feel

Should no longer be a top rated app. Based on the reviews I don’t believe this should be listed as a top rated app any longer. It is far too expensive to progress any further than a basic city. I took a break for over a year because I got bored - just tried it again and nothing had improved. After a short weekend of exploring things, I have no simcash and no desire to shell out a lot of money to keep going. Other games require far less investment to continue enjoying the game while funding development. This app is gouging people.

It is not SIM City. This game is not Sim City. They need to change the name to pay to play city. The offers, the need to pay for things is just way over the top and after years of basterdising the game it is no longer a city building game but a pay to build game. Every game now wants to get into the social crap of playing in teams with players that are too incoherent or immature to make it fun. Get back to what this game was at the beginning and you will have five stars. What you have now belongs in the rubbish bin.

Microtransaction heap of garbage.. Enjoy being stuck for hours for materials to be made? Like having 30 seconds of playtime a day? Are you willing to pull out a second mortgage to fund this game nickel bu nickel? Then look no further! This “game” has you covered. You’ll be bottlenecked EVERY step of the way. After about 10 minutes of smooth gameplay, get ready to pull out your credit card to buy in game currency and to reduce cooldown timers on materials so that you can continue building the city. Worst Pierce of junk app in the App Store. Cannot believe this thing has an editors award. For what? Worst user experience? Get this thing off the App Store.

Bleh. Cities: Skylines is better

Frustrated. The way the dynamics of this game are makes it very hard to progress or expand your city or upgrade anything. Basically pay to win, or just wait days and days until you can do something. But your citizens will probably move out by then. I love SimCity but this game just made me mad.

Read your reviews developers. You are trying to create a game that makes you money, and of course, that is how a business stays alive, but when you “over do it”, when trying to make profits, you lose your customers. Your algorithms are so obvious it is causing more and more people to drop your game. For example, when you go to the Trade Headquarters because you need an item, of course it is hard to find, but as so as you as the architect for new plans because you can’t find the items, all of a sudden they pop up like crazy in the Trade Headquarters. I get you are trying to keep people engaged, spend some real cash and keep your business going, but if you gouge, have algorithms that are literally taking the fun away from the game, you will lose more profits in people leaving, then to make the game a little more rewarding. Read your reviews.

Date?. Why do you want birth month and year. So you can send even more adds?

This game sucks but want to know a better game?. TheoTown is like this game but without the money spending and time waiting

Best Game on the App Store. This game is the best! Unlike most strategy games... Supercell... this game isn’t pay-to-win, although like all games it sure does help. You have a reason to log in frequently but not having to check every 15 minutes. The Trade HQ and the new addition of FREE expansion cities keeps me playing, for my main city is fairly stable and not in need of as much attention. Only minor peeve is the game DRAINS my battery. Maybe a power saver mode could be considered. 🤔 Keep it up EA!

Crap. 3 upgrades in a row and my access is blocked, no 4th delete & reload

Not bad but what’s with all the materials needed. This game is very similar to all the others that buy land and build things, like The Simpsons. Except in those games to buy land and build things it usually takes an item and cash, and you can earn those easy with time. This game needs cash, and plows, and gears, and gloves, and cakes and the list goes on and on. It takes many many many hours to get land or move up in the game, unless you’re willing to spend thousands. Good luck!

Payed for items and the game is a scam. Bought beginner pack and mayors plus access for temporary access for 13.99$. In order to advance to Level 52 from 1, 4 days left on access but already used all supposed missions to all gain access to level 30 out of 52. I cannot progress further in game. DONT BUY ANY EXTRAS cause you will feel cheated paying 15$ and not able to access to level 52 and stuck at level 30 as cause according to tech support you used up all the missions that gain you to level 30. EA games of course running this modern scam. I have wrote to EA games, Business Review, and Consumer Business Association. This modern scam have to be shut down by these big corporations.

Garbage game. I thought the game was going to be fun but ended up being annoying and frustrating, I can have so many factories but only 1 hardware store, that is not how things work in the real world. EA just let us build our dream city, we need a sandbox game not a cash grabbing penny pinching Hay Day.

Too Much To Do. I’ve always loved Sim City right from the beginning. The game is already heavy on things to do and with the addition of the War stuff, it just adds more; and then you have monsters, all of which are totally annoying and your items to do these various things takes up storage in the warehouse. My only suggesting is get rid of the ‘War’ stuff and the monsters…Its annoying and takes away from the simulation. Also when a War ends, etc…The pop-ups are intrusive and you have to follow through with the prompts until finished. So annoying. Maybe the developers should concentrate on the graphics of the game and updating those. Make the game look better an inline with the technology being used today. Allow the roads to be connected to other regions. Make it more realistic than what it is.

Good but…. There are some things that the developers really change like for example: The epic projects is way too hard to do. I feel like that you have to have so much simoleons just to build what ever specialization u want in order to get one epic building done. The turtle tokens need 40 epic points and that is way too much and the epic points that the specialization buildings give us are just too low. If you’re gonna set a standard that high than I recommend giving us more time and lowering down the items like 2 or 1 or you can set it to a lower standard like 5. 5 was your standard before for a turtle token. What happened? Also I want it point out that you to pay real money just for the services cause that’s how I got through the point where I am. I also want to point out that the traffic upgrading is ridiculous. There is no traffic there and they say there is traffic like it is what it is. Although it’s a decent game with a few changes needed.

So unstable cannot play. Crashes every time you try to do anything other than collect money, so unstable and has gotten worse over time… to bad, used to really like it.

Very limited. Very limited, sim city is very very limited, can’t do much before you have to start paying, for all who is considering this, might as well use something else on the PC

Missing the spirit of original. Started playing SIM city on a Mac Classic II when the wee screens were grey scale. It is the game that got me hooked on gaming. Actually taught me quite a bit about city’s, taxation, municipal bonds etc. Versions got a bit better as the years went by. When it came out on iPad I thought it was going to be amazing. Some of you may like the pay to play experience amd that is awesome. For me all I can see is monetization first for the publisher then gamer experience comes after...if at all. This game is a money burning grind that for my experience, murdered the original. It’s a travesty that present day generations can’t enjoy and learn from the original developers vision. Can only be played with a continuous wifi or cell connection. Deserves zero stars. However, If you are the type that likes pay to play and don’t know the original, give it a spin, you might like it. For those gamers like me, perhaps launch a non pay to play like the original versions and charge us. I would happily pay $5 to $20 to download it and have my own pet city

It’s not great. Before writing this review I decided to give the game a honest try. Play a week or two, really try to get the concept. After a week I can honestly say the game is well, really bad. The concept is cool, but it’s “pay to play” motto is so restrictive that it just doesn’t make financial sense to keep playing. On average a triple a title will cost you around 100 bucks. Expensive but worth it. This game, you’d be lucky to spend $100 and actually enjoy the game for a week. That’s pretty bad. Even other pay to play titles don’t go this far. The money aside the way you advance in game is broken too. The building space provided is unrealistic, the time in between manufacturing materials to upgrade is unrealistic. The game basically yells at you the entire time making the experience really crappy at best. It’s too bad. As a kid I loved sim cities. But this isn’t sim city. It’s a watered down version, garbage money grab by a company that once produced good games. Save your money, really.. This game isn’t worth your time or hard earned money at all.

Not simcity. Your bottlenecked the whole way thru from your productions. When you level up your city it is instantly thrown into despair as you unlock a new thing you have to manage (ie police, sewage, etc) because up to the point u level ur city doesn’t require (or have access to) it. Once u level u won’t have the money to counteract the unlock unless u pay $$$.

Be Patient. Here’s the thing, we all know that games from Electronic Arts are mainly for money. Of course, that’s somewhat true for this game (now, it is easier due to some updates). Before, this game was really hard to actually play and do anything. The key is to be patient. During that start of the time, you will hate this game. When I started I thought the game was very boring. I still played even if I thought it was a waste of time. After a few months, there was so much more to do and there will be so much more. With EA games, being patient is the #1 skill you need. Many people aren’t patient which forces them to pay money. Overall be patient. My recommendation: Yes

August 19 2022 The game is still crashing.. SimCity buildit update 1.42.5 doesn’t work. The game is unplayable. Unable to load it anymore. When will we have a bug fix??? I Have the feeling that The SimCity Buildit Developers And / Or EA Company, are not putting enough energy and Men/Women’s Power to Fix Bugs. Quality Control doesn’t seems to be a priority...

Too many cheaters and hackers, don’t bother playing!. DO NOT BOTHER PLAY THIS GAME! WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. EA JUST DO NOT CARE. THEY ALLOW THOSE CHEATERS FOR US HONEST PEOPLE TO BE DESPERATE TO SPEND MONEY FOR CONTESTS CAUSE WE CANNOT WIN EVER SO WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF PLAYING THIS RIDICULOUS GAME!!???? I’VE BEEN PLAYING THIS GAME FOR ALMOST 6 YEARS WITH THE RESULTS OF BEING MISERABLE .....TRUST ME ON THIS

Reason why other games are more popular: this is rubbish. I’ve never had to write a review for a mobile game. Unlike restaurants or other real world services, small games like sim city has yet to astonish or bother me to warrant a review. But sim city disgusts me. I’ve been playing this game regularly for half a year now, but the more I play, the more I feel manipulated and played by the developers. All game developers decide how the gamers game, but the developers of this game simply doesn’t. There is the unreasonably priced in game purchasable currency that offers low value in the game. When compared to similar games like clash of clans, who routinely give out gems, this game lacks in generosity. Furthermore, Like some other reviewers have pointed out, the factory system is also crap and inefficient. But ultimately, this game’s lack of strategy shows how little thought was put into the production. In fact, there is no strategy in this game. Dont want to wait? Buy sim cash. Don’t have what you need? Buy sim cash. I feel like the developers intentionally rig the spin game statistics against the player to further incite purchases. It is brainless and brutal.

Game is fun overall BUT. This game was nice til I seen they started to put political crap into the game.

You’ll only get anywhere by spending money. I really tried and wanted to like this but it’s awful and removed from my phone. I play some pay to win games but not this awful and Grindy. Takes me days to get money for the next big thing I gotta place all over the city by oh they left cause you didn’t do it fast enough🤷‍♀️ all I get from this game was either pay real money or don’t bother at all. And I’ll choose to not bother. Awful game.

A great game ruined by hackers and cheats. This is a great game which unlike other civilization apps, allows users to use a huge degree of creativity in designing and building cities. The game has been corrupted however by the prevalence of cheats which compromise the integrity of the war component and allow mass production of cloned buildings.

Bruh 😡. It’s basically cites skylines and clash of clans, this game is just one big disappointment. ALSO ITS JUST A PAY TO WIN GAME.

Price gouging crap. Utter crap. I have to constantly cue up production in factories to crank out steel and wood in order to cue up production of nails in the hardware store, yet I’m only allowed to have ONE hardware store and it takes 22 minutes to make nails. To do a simple house upgrade or even build a house I need 4 nails! That’s 80 minutes! Of course i can always pay $6. There no game here. No strategy on the part of the player required. The entire game is built around micro transactions. This is the worst kind of rip off.

Money. Apparently when you don’t need somethings it their but as soon as you need it it gone, and that fact you need a code to get friend and not just have people form the game is stupid and the fact you can’t go back to someone else global store to get something you know is their but you can’t because it a one time offer . Just get city sky lines much better and their a sandbox mode

Glitch in game has made it unfun to play. The global trade market is no longer working, I opened my game one day and it said “sorry mayor this aspect is not available to you at the moment” when I’ve had access to that now for a long time. Not having the global trade market I’m back to waiting days on end to build up enough resources to upgrade houses or do shipments- making the game impossible at my level to play. Please fix this or you’ll be losing a lot of players

So many ads, wrecks the game. When you open this game anywhere from 3-6 ads will pop up with “specials”. Around the side of the screen constant blinking lights to get you to click and then buy. Just a good game that has been ruined by the greed of more and more ads. Reminds me of Ready Player One where they measure how much of your field of view they can fill with ads before you stroke out.

Hard to rearrange the city. Should make an editor mode. So hard to reorganize the city

Disappointment. From a company and brand that created so many great sim games, this is by far their worst. This is just like any other mobile builder game. It is not enthralling like the pc simcity games. There is no thinking with this game it is just tapping and waiting. No point to sit down to play it. Does not hold ones attention and is extremely boring. It is designed as pay to play and flooded with ads. Do not waste your time

Cheating is rampant in this game. Cheating in COM happens every week, and EA refuses to do anything about it. I’ve sent in complaints reporting cheats, and all I’ve gotten are boilerplate responses that provide solutions to the cheating issue. They don’t ban players, or if they do, it takes a long, long time. But by then, the damage is done. I’ve been naive enough to pay real money for simcash, only to lose to cheaters. How are they cheaters? They get scores that are only possible through hacking the game. So if you feel like playing a game where you’re bombarded by ads to buy simcash and have no chance of winning because of cheats, then feel free to download this game.

❤️❤️❤️. I LOVE this game and would totally suggest it to EVERYONE totally appropriate and just fun!! I would suggest to the developer to make a search bar in the global HQ cause it can be annoying not being able to find something. This game is awesome and luv the new update!!😋

High priced items. Why to much money wanted for items needed to grow a city, between all the sudden expenses and the need for schools, police and fire it is redundant it is better to ignore it all delete households that complain and make money off shipping when you finally have millions then you can expand but I would waste your time or real money.. oh and I do wish they would stop forcing I want a school, okay developers I really don’t care about that stuff get an online education I say I am not putting in a school for forty grand when I want and entertainment centre at sixty grand, the game doesn’t allow you to earn enough money to keep the bubbles from popping up so my sim complain, since I am The creator of my game I blow up the building and laugh no school for you....ahahhahahhaha we want concerts ahahahhaha....

Pay to Play. Spend 10 real life years building one city or hundreds of dollars real life money. Or go buy a console or pc and forget about this game. Worst game out there.

Why other games are better. I used to have this game, but it is horrible. 1.) You get overwhelmed very fast as you have to organize. Because you can’t zone things you have to place down houses that are a certain amount of space so you have to juggle your service that are small with homes that are quite a bit lagger. 2.) With other games it takes a small amount of time for buildings to be built but with this game it takes hours and it takes time to create the things, so it takes half a day to make a new building. 3.) Expensive every thing in this game is so expensive from buildings to other things you can tell this is an EA game. As the the EA motto goes “Buy or don’t advanced”.

Disappointing. If you’re expecting this to be like the original game, you’re in for a disappointment. It’s overly complicated, cumbersome, and lacks any feeling of evolution from a small town to a big city.

Pay to play.. It is extremely unfair to the player if you don’t pay constantly for sim cash because it just takes so long to make materials and if you don’t pay for boosts it will take years to finish the game

Too many ads. Game was amazing until they started showing way too many 1 minute ads. It’s gone to the point where it’s unplayable! I had it on multiple devices and now I have deleted the app, won’t come back to this game again!

I'm really sick of this game. It's rigged, anytime you need an item it suddenly disappears from the market, when you are in the middle of challenges it cuts out and makes you start over, This game was just all around made as a cash grab, there's no way to enjoy playing the game without spending $300 a month on it. the creators didn't actually care about letting people have fun.

August 2017 Update. Since the last update my game keeps crash and does not allow me into the game on my iPad I've had to stop playing this game

Loading time!. Loading time is too long to move between cities. Or when we open the market, all the time is wasted for loading. This is very boring. I'm level 22 and I cleared the game.

Fun 😀. This was a fun game. But seriously bruh Daniel is just showing off with his city. 😑😑😑

Designed to siphon money, not entertain. As everyone else seems to have noticed, Simcity has grown from a smart, entertaining and - most importantly - rewarding experience into this shallow, almost insulting slot machine. It’s like the game designers forgot who they’re selling for. People who play city simulators are not muppets. Goodbye and good riddance.

Editing. I wish there was a way to remove all buildings into inventory at once and redesign my city kind of like in clash of clans

Too many Ads. The ads weren’t a problem before, mainly bc if you watch them you get some type of reward, but since two updates ago, EVERY TIME i watch an Ad and then try to exit it, it instead opens the App Store. If i wanted to play one of the low effort and trash games you advertise, I would have downloaded it during the first 90 times I see it. Money hungry game, and the “deals” where you have to spend real money? Very suspicious to add that many in game purchases to a children’s game.

Major hacking platform. Been playing for 4+ years and am done with it. Game is overrun by hackers who completely ruin the integrity of the game’s war component. They do nothing about it so the fun is gone. Also, your are now blitzed with ads to pay money. It was a great game before but now it’s not worth the time invested. On to something else.

Used to love this game. Buyers beware of temporary prizes for real money. I really loved playing this game at first. But then you realize they almost force you to send money to be able to compete properly. I don’t mind spending some money here or there. I had a big problem when they didn’t clearly state prior to purchase that storage was temporary and took storage away. I tried to complain and they did not care that I paid real money for something that was taken back. It was not clearly stated and they didn’t even care to meet me half way. They don’t want hackers in their game but then they punish players who spend real money. How is it a policy to make ANYTHING temporary that you pay real money for? They have this tiered approach to storage and expansions. You have to increasingly save more spaces just to gain the same 5 storage spots. At times, at higher levels, you are basically saving 75 to 100 storage spaces at a time if you are saving for everything. It takes forever to earn the items too. It is a big deal when 20 spaces are taken back from a player. It is wrong and the way they treat their players who feed their business and it makes me not want to play anymore. I have been a long time SIMS player and I am so disappointed in the company.

Good Game but needs some work.... I love the game and I play it all the time. But, there a few minuses about the game. Like how everything is so expensive. I unlocked the garbage government thing and it cost 6000 sim cash. It’s not easy to earn sim cash when you’re in higher levels, though, because you’re constantly buying stuff from the World Trade Center so you don’t have to wait for the factories ad stores. Also, everything that you need to produce in the upper levels takes forever, forcing you to use sim cash if you need to upgrade a residential area or expand your city. And I don’t get the harbor, because I can’t make the ship leave so I can get a golden key. I also hate how education is a government requirement, but you have to pay golden keys for the schools. It should just be sim cash, because there’s only two ways to earn golden keys, and they’re both higher level things. I also would like to recommend changing the stores so that we can collect sim cash from them, so it’s not as hard to get the government requirements. But overall, the game is really cool and fun, but it does need a bit of work.

It used to be fun. SimCity build it was fun for a while. Building your city is pretty fun, although a bit frustrating sometimes. It’s pretty good. But now, they have these stupid age restrictions. Apparently, if you are under a certain age, you can’t access four different buildings. 3 out of 4 of the buildings I din’t know about, but there’s one of them that’s completely stupid. The global trade HQ. the global trade HQ is the MOST IMPORTANT BUILDING IN THE GAME. Since most items take a long time to make, you’ll find yourself only able to play for about 10 minutes, then go do something else. But with the global trade HQ, you can buy these items from other players. In addition to that, you can also get free gifts sometimes from other players. But since I am under a certain age, I can’t access it. THIS IS NONSENSE. Why is it age restricted? You give me the ability of in-app purchases, where a kid could potentially waste all of his parents money, but you DON’T give me the global trade HQ, ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT BUILDINGS IN THE GAME. The only way to get around this would be to start over your entire game, but I’m already at level 13, meaning that everything I have done at this point was a waste of time. 2 stars

Good Game But…. Don’t get me wrong this is a good game far better than games I have played in the past. The graphics are beautiful, and it’s just all around a good game. Well…almost the way the game works is pretty annoying it drives me nuts, it’s almost impossible to expand unless you want to just sit and pop comment bubbles hoping to get lucky, making it almost impossible also to make money when trying to level up. For new players (when I first started out) it seems like you were having to deal with one problem after another, for example it was getting to busy and you were having to upgrade roads or…you unlocked a new service and you have to provide before all the sims move out. It’s always something, but this get better later on in the game so it’s not that big of a deal. Also the Global Trade HQ is nearly impossible to use and only refreshes every 30 second which usually means I’m just sitting pressing refresh while trying to look for the item I want, when I could be doing things so much better than that.

Starts awesome but then becomes irritating.. Developers of this game seem to have forgotten why we play simcity; building stuff and managing town issues like water, electricity, schools and traffic. At start the game is awesome, you get to do all that stuff and build things with materials created on you own factories. But then it starts asking for more and more stuff you cannot manufacture to the point you cant expand land, build anything or even upgrade any building, there is always something you don't have that prevents you from doing everything. And so, you end on the global market hq waisting hours on end trying to unsuccessfully get the stuff needed, until you are bored out of your mind, And if by some miracle you do find what you are looking for, chances are that your warehouse is full, and it requires other stuff you don’t have to increase its capacity, which, of course, you can’t find either, more wasted hours on market. Solution to this problem is always buying stuff with real money, quite expensively I might add. I understand the need to make money, but I rather pay for some version of simcity classic that I could enjoy indefinitely than continue stuck on this games global market hell. It just becomes unplayable after a while. :(

Game is good, needs improvements though!. I used to play this game years ago and got it again and it felt nostalgic. However, it doesn’t feel that different. I like the rate that you can grow your city. However, I dislike when I accidentally click something to purchase with Simcash when I don’t mean to, and this is a MAJOR problem because people spend real money in the game, including purchasing Simcash and that shouldn’t be an accidental thing. There should be a warning like, “Tap again to purchase” like other mobile games. Another flaw would be scrolling through the catalog. If I want to place something in my town from the beach section for example, and then I want to see another object from that section, it kicks me out of the whole catalog and I have to go back to where I was. I find this pretty annoying and think its an easy fix. Overall, love the design of the game and I hope they continue to make tweaks to improve it more often.

Too much of a grind. Downloaded this game when it was featured as the app of the day. The prospect of building a city, laying out buildings, creating roads, etc seemed enjoyable and something I could do in my spare time without getting too involved. I generally enjoyed it at first. But to be honest, it just became far too much of a grind. There’s a heavy emphasis on purchasing credits to be able to do or speed up anything. I was determined to not actually spend real money on the game in the form of micro-transactions. Honestly if the game were just $10 and then you can build away however you like, I’d probably love it. But I ultimately ended up deleting it. When you have to build items in a factory, so you can in turn build a shovel, so you can then grow some grass, so you can then upgrade a residence, and before you know it you wound up waiting a collective two hours just for that grass, and then you find out that to upgrade the building again, you need two chairs, which means you need to make two hammers....ugh, just a pain at that point and the game lost enjoyment for me. It was fun for a few minutes, got to level 19, but it grew old...

Good, but needs one important change.. I’ve enjoyed this game so far, but I strongly believe that if you are going to use a currency that is obtained with real money, the game definitely should give a prompt before allowing a SimCash purchase. SimCash-paid extra features are everywhere and are insanely easy to accidentally click on (land expansions, speeding up, extra slots, etc). And if you do, that’s it. It’s gone. It happened to me twice, both times with large amounts on some pretty useless features that I didn’t need whatsoever. And I was saving up for some better SimCash-paid stuff. That took away any will for me to put real money into this. EA....if you want customers to pay money, it’s necessary to respect it. People only pay money if they’ll feel some kind of gratification for it. Making in-game currencies easy to waste lowers its value. Please consider a SimCash prompt...that’s all we need. Maybe even just for purchases over 5 or 10 SimCash. I promise, this won’t impede on the flow of the game. But it’ll help you get purchases, and it’ll help us not get frustrated. Win-win, right?

Too Slow. This game has a lot of potential but it takes forever to do anything. It takes way too long to make money, grow your city, etc. You spend the vast majority of your time making, buying, and selling items. It almost feels like more of a business simulation game than a city builder because you spend all your time buying and selling crap. You're constantly in need of more space but you need "items" to expand (and to do anything else) but the items you need are extremely hard to find even if you have money. It's obvious they made the game extremely slow as a desperate way to get players to buy one of the countless forms of in game currencies, which brings me to my second biggest complaint: the currencies are out of control. As you progress, your screen gets filled with way too many forms of currency and I don't even know what most of them are called. there's simcash, simoleons, and over 5 other currencies I can't even remember. Ridiculous. Other than those major complaints I think the game has a lot of potential to be more fun. I love the way the game looks and feels for a free mobile game.

Fun until.... Lvl 20 then you run out of room.. Have had this game for over a year, still have a bunch of the special buildings, Halloween, Christmas, Empire State Building, opera, expo center, ballon rides, 2016 New Years ball at my entrance. I had lots of fun for the first 20 levels. It was hard but I kept playing. It's been almost a year of not playing. I had stopped playing in hopes that some things would get easier. I have expanded to the point of needing 30 special pieces, for each. I need 7 expansions, 210 special pieces I have not found them in the auction, rarely pop up from my population, I'm to the point where I WOULD need pay to expand and play further. I could buy them, but hey they are just to expensive. I have and do use cash on some of these games, but when you figure the math, it's not worth it. Same reason I don't invest in other EA sponsored games, like the NFL. I just stop playing. I understand these things cost money. I could justify a couple bucks to expand a tile, but $10 to expand ONE TILE, or $70 dollars to expand all 7, it's Just not worth it. Have fun while you can, it will take up a bunch of your time, you also will probably say "oh well"

Suggestions.... Love this game and would give it 5 stars but there are some features that I think would enhance gameplay. One suggestion would be to add government to the regional cities. It’s so difficult to simply gather money from the updating the housing and you get so little from updating them. The only way to get more money is to do the trading option and it shouldn’t be the only way. Making the updates be worth more than the meager hundred or so simoleons from updating the housing would also enhance gameplay. Another is to shift the trade items in the trading depot around. So many times when I’m getting supplies from there I see the same three items (currently it’s mostly pizza, hamburgers, and the ice cream bar). I know that they are worth a lot and other users want to use it to get fast money but there are other items needed that would be better to have if they were available. Suggestion #3 would be to add the stores that are only available in the capital city. Sure you can take one from the capital city and plop it in a regional city but then if you need it you need to plop it back or just go in between the two cities to get supplies and that is not a functional. It gets annoying and we should be able to have more of those stores to go around... like the factories. I hope some of these gets implemented because I really like playing the game and like the fact that you can play with other users through the wars and stuff.

Five stars, but game doesn’t work anymore!. I love this game, I pretty much have everything that all the other five and four star reviews have to say, it is a really fun game, but I won’t waste my time listing why because you guys have seen it all already ;) Instead, I’ll mention a HUGE problem that will lower my rating if not fixed: for the past week or so, every time I have tried to load the game, it has crashed. Every single time. I haven’t been able to play SimCity BuildIt for an entire week because of this issue. It is obviously very annoying, especially since this was one of the games I was most devoted to and I played it every day. Please fix this issue soon! I am on an iPhone 6s which is still running the last version of iOS 13, since I don’t have enough storage to upgrade to iOS 14. This may be an issue, though I highly doubt the game would be crashing just because I have the second to latest version of iOS instead of the latest one.

Game is visually pleasing but broken. There’s a reason this game has lost so many players, and it’s a broken system driven by a hungry developer to just make more $$. But here’s the major con’s right off the bat: 1) The coverage of police/fire/health stations is pathetically small which means you’re heavily constricted on how you build, leaving a lot of you aesthetic builders let down 2) The city storage aspect almost ruins the game by itself. The city storage limits you so bad that you can hardly get anything done in your city. Even to collect the items you need just to upgrade the existing storage will take up a good amount of space in it. Just completely ruins the game. 3)Mayor challenges are impossible if you’re not an 1mil + pop city, Game is too reliant on materials that you can’t produce, you can only find so your chances of ever getting challenges done within the time frame is slim to none. 4) Lastly, this issue isn’t game-breaking but it is visually annoying; some of the buildings scale’s do not match, and it will bother anyone with a realistic mind. To finish on a good note, The game’s graphics are spectacular.

Fantastic. Not a game expert, rarely play video games... the other day, it occurred to me that my 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter (who ENDLESSLY design little worlds with blocks, legos, crayons, etc.) might like a game I vaguely remember from childhood. Now we all sit around the iPad together taking turns making our town a little better. The game starts as a free game, and we had fun with that for awhile, and I plopped down a massive 5 bucks to get us building for approximately 6 hours over three or four days. It seems to me that this is more than fair, and my kids are jumping out of their skin to keep going, so my take is that the pay to play model is exactly in balance with this game. Hats off to the program managers and developers of this game, and my family thanks you for a lot of fun times already! We build worlds with blocks, at school, at the ice rink, at the rock climbing wall, the baseball diamond...and now the 4 year old iPad that absorbs this game easily. Great job!

Stay away my story is not unique.. I played this game for many years and yes I have spent real world money there have been glitches from time to time but none like the one I recently experienced. I had over $17,000 in SIMCASH which one day vanished. Over several weeks I exchanged emails with tech-support, but all they do is copy and paste the same answers repeatedly. Bottom line they accused me of spending the cash because as they put it it’s impossible for their system to glitch. This is nonsense it has happened before, and as I explained to them I am not a rookie at this game and I have absolutely nothing to show for the 17,000 and lost SIMCASH meantime they refused to offer any solutions whatsoever other than sorry better luck next time. After many years of playing this game (level 99 and population of nearly 24million) I refuse to spend another moment knowing that at any point in time it could glitch again and something even worse could occur, thus wasting all of my efforts. I will not play this game ever again and I would recommend if you’re considering playing the game don’t bother, eventually it will happen to you.

I like it but I don’t know if it’s a glitch/ broken or my iPad.. I have an IPad so I today I turn off my iPad and turn it on took a while to make sure the game that had to be fix was now working so I went to finish some things on the game but it shows a black screen for a second and but a white screen then it kicks me out!! I was scared so I check the apps I’m always on everything is and thankfully it was but I was sooo confused I do have some storage issues on my iPad that needs to be clear but I deleted a app to make the game back but it show a black screen for a second and a white screen again! I hope my progress is saved because I would be REALLY REALLY REALLY disappointed I been playing since last year I don’t want this to happen because if it does I would be really sad so please do something my cit is named New Evergreen and I just hit level 24 I don’t want to start over please do something!

Download Fallout Shelter instead. Classic pay to win or in this case expand. Earning any kind of currency or rare materials is almost impossible in this game. This game is so tightly engineered that it’s almost impossible to accomplish anything (in a fair amount of time) without spending real money. I tried and tested many different currency earning strategies offered by the game (and suggested by developers), but to no avail. I was still short on materials here and low on service production there. The trading system is trash. The only thing that makes it worth while is the fact that so few items are advertised that you can jack up the prices to all your materials and someone will buy them. I even went a step further and played a new game at a slower pace with the same results. With this kind of struggle, I’d rather pay a flat rate for the game than encounter the stress levels this game ensues. I’ve played other “build” simulation games such as Fallout Shelter, and I’ve never seen such monumental money walls as seen in Simcity Buildit. In short, if you want to be stressed out waiting 10 years or strong armed into spending real money to expand your city, this is the game for you. Thanks EA.

Amazing game one problem though. I love the game very addicting, amazing features only thing is once I hit the level where I can produce sugar & spices that’s the only thing in global trade making it hard to find items I need and would usually find, and another things please add a feature where you can redesign your island , make it to where you can simply just remove all your buildings and locations and empty land but you are able to keep your things , because my land isn’t extended much so whenever I try to redesign because more buildings and new things I have no room to move things to the side and make new roads and place buildings in new spots it would be a lot easier if you could have either the same island but like 2/4 different slots to like edit same island but just have a clean slate to edit it or to have different designs saved to switch to but have the same things and only one island active at a time or simply a mode to edit island and be able to clear out your buildings but have them in like a tool bar to place

Missing Storage, time & items. I just increased my storage place by 5 yesterday and today there was a game update and my storage decreased by 10. That was storage I increased with my blueprints by entering a challenge. This is the second time I’ve lost storage. Plus I’ve lost items in the update as well. The time on making items are off. If something takes an hr to make, it takes way longer than that. I started timing and I was correct. It’s not my phone because I have the latest model iPhone max pro. I believe it’s the game program to create issues that aren’t so noticeable to make money. This get people to purchase sims cash or coins. When I started noticing unusual things within the game, I started timing and screen shots. The game makes it almost impossible to win items or do cargo shipments because it’s wanting items that you can’t even produce. Upgrading the stores doesn’t make production faster like it says. I’ve been playing this game for at least 7 years because I love the idea about designing a city, but lately disappointed.

Why have trade at all?. Too may small flaws.. Global Trade Hq needs a filter desperately there is no sense in having this feature if it means that you spend hours refreshing to no result! You should be able to identify what item(s) you are searching for to filter results. The price for items is already capped so there would be no need for any other filters. This would be an incredibly simple feature to add and appears developers just got lazy but as we know it’s fine details that make things great. Also on another note fighting your first monster was a ridiculous struggle you are given limited time and if you don’t already have the proper resources to launch all attacks at once good luck scrambling to fill orders to get those special resources in time! $$$ that’s what it boils down to you spending $ real hard earned $ you are expected to spend on this game at least if you want to enjoy the experience. Considering deleting this game all together because it appears this trend will continue as you get deeper into the game. It’s sad to see such a poor quality game under such a big name

Good game, a few suggestions.. I really like this game and I feel like it is very stimulating and interesting, however there were a few annoying things that could be much better. First of all, I think it is a little dumb that you have to put things into the factories to make all the time. I think it should just be when you get the factory you choose the material that it makes and you can change it if you like. Second of all, I think when you make things with your materials, like hammers, nails, wood planks, etc, it shouldn’t take time to make. You should just craft it with your materials and then you get it. That way it takes out the boring waiting aspect of the game. This would also make it much easier to complete the disaster challenges, making it easier to get you keys and so you could make your city better. Thank you so much for reading my review, and overall I fell like this is such a great game and I really hope you make some small changes though.

The people & what they want. So in the game you have to build your own city, as so but in it they tend to get a bit... greedy. In the game you spend a lot of money. Then in the future you might not be able to buy most things. So for an example: If the people or sims want there sewage gone you need to build one but back in the past you spent a lot of money. So you cant really help them making them get mad and either leaving or adding to the number of mad people in the city. And to get more money you need to make stuff and build houses or just trade with mega Corp And stuff like that but it takes time to make the materials that you need. Then in that time the more mad people will get added because of you the mayor taking a long time to get that stuff done. Yes I know it’s a strategy game and people want to figure out and solve problems but sometimes those problems could get too out of hand. But the rest of the game is good. So I know that the game is supposed to be realistic and in real life people need what they want but you could pay too much for something someone needs or multiple people who needs whatever like power. You could pay too much for a power plant or something but when you get to level 8 people want sewage stuff. But last time you used almost all of your money so you can’t buy sewage plants. And yes again it’s a strategy game and it’s also supposed to be realistic but I’m aware of that.

Great game!. I read a lot of reviews before downloading this game, most of them were years old and had very good things to say. The resounding feedback seemed to involve difficulty getting dollars, to which I somewhat agree. However, I do not really share this concern because I think all games should have aspects that require a bit of patience in order to give a feeling of satisfaction once a goal is met. This game is overall very enjoyable and has kept my attention more than I would like to admit! My only feedback to the makers would be the ability to store all types of buildings, even residential, due to the fact that it’s difficult to rearrange your city once you’ve already filled up a majority of the space. As I’ve progressed in the game and unlocked more things I would like to build, it’s been hard for me to organize my city and still cover each zone with the required utilities. But I enjoy the challenge anyway. I love this game :) great job.

Good time waster but room for better features. The game is pretty good, great game to play for wasting time of boredom. If I had to say what could be improved is an EDIT mode for your city besides demolishing or placing buildings to the side to reorganize the way your city is, second would be for missions or task to be doable such as thing we can ACTUALLY do. Gotten task where I needed to export or finish a building I don’t yet have unlocked or even products I can’t build. Wasting space for other task to pull ahead of the game. Epic building are ok but to get 40 then 100 with only a few parks to actually give 2 or 3 every few hours for how ridiculous amount they want.. 4 paint cans then 4 margaritas which take much longer to finish even when getting trade is a rare occurrence and those can be the same on multiple epic point parks. Trading should have a filter for better use besides getting nonsense items I don’t ever need for days or weeks on end meaning I would have to stare at the market praying to RNG Jesus to find that ONE item and hoping it is available

Great fun way to pass the time without pressure. This is a fun way to pass the time. I really find it enjoyable and in a way relaxing. It definitely takes patience. You can’t be in a hurry to build your cities. A couple things I would ask to improve upon: I’d like to be able to zoom out a little further. My cities have gotten big enough that I can’t zoom far enough out to see the whole thing. Also, I don’t do Facebook. I’d like to have a way to add friends in a social network outside of Facebook, or add a chat room to the game so people can ask each other for items. Lastly, it would be great if we could search for a particular item in the marketplace. For instance, if I need a fire pit, I’d like to be able to search the market place for one rather than having to sit there and refresh the market every thirty seconds waiting for one to pop up. This might also help those who are impatient to move things along a little quicker.

Love It. I really do enjoy this app! It’s fun and easy to pass time with. I wish, however, that when looking for things to buy in the Global Trade HQ there would be a limit of how many items pop up. It seems that I always have almost a full page of burgers being offered which can be annoying. I would also love to see more regions! Perhaps some regions tied to the buildings we already have? Like a London themed region for our London townhouses or an Omega themed region for our Omega homes. I love the Omega buildings, but I do not like the way they look in my capital city so I wish there was a way to store the Omega government buildings. Another cool idea could be seasonal regions? Such as a Halloween themed region (we have access to them all year long) but during the holiday there is special tasks to complete in that region. It would also be nice to be able to merge certain buildings. For example, instead of having 5 sewage treatment plants, we can merge them with up to three others.

Freezes A Lot. I love this game...the creativity you can have while building you city is incredible and addicting. But there are a few things that irk me. For one, you can’t really do all the fun stuff without spending real money. I’ve downloaded and deleted this game at least 3 times in the past, and have never been able to get past level 25 due to not having enough sims cash to do anything fun. This time around, I actually gave in and spent $4.99 for a bundle with sims cash and other stuff. I’m having fun now, but that wouldn’t have been possible without spending real money. But the thing that bothers me the most is how often the game freezes. I find that I’m having to completely close out of the app and restart it once every 5-10 minutes because it completely freezes. This usually happens when I visit another city to buy an item, then I can’t buy the item and have to restart my app cause it froze. I really wish/hope this can be fixed because it’s very frustrating.

Good but too expensive.. Good but expensive. It's a good game, but it has something that is not very good for phones. In less than a year this game consumed the battery of my new iPhone 12 pro Max in 83% condition. I have to replace the battery because the battery has poor performance. The battery gets hot as this game requires a lot of connection and speed to play it. It even gets very slow and loses a lot of connection, sometimes in wars you lose resources due to internet interruption. All for the money. It does not have ads but they do know how to put a lot of things they want to sell you. Too expensive and nothing they sell has value. To get things you would have to spend 24 hours burning your cell phone and losing hours of sleep to be able to have almost nothing. Whatever, like everything in this life, if you are a person who has a lot of money and wants to throw it away, this game is for you. With money is the only way you can reach high levels and the creators of this game become more millionaires. Calculate in a year how much they steal in purchases from 2.99 dollars even if it seems like nothing. I help the community not to throw away their money or damage cell phones.

Update—-received it! Love it the game, but never received Premium Mayors Pass. Update 4/3/21: I received the pass, and it’s great! Hoping this is not a common thing, because I would definitely buy this pass again. :) So if this happens to you, they’re probably just busy. —-I have been playing this game for a few years now, love it. Made one purchase a long time ago, it worked. BUT, Jan 2021, I decided to buy a premium mayor’s pass. My card was charged, but was never given the pass (I made it so far too!). I have been emailing support since this issue happened and all I get is “I understand your frustration, we’re working on it”. For TWO months. Yet, they rolled out a new season, a design contest, and more last week AND they’re still offering the premium mayors pass. I didn’t want to leave this review because I love this game, but taking my money and then never providing the service/product that was paid for is stealing. They said they are very busy, so my advice to you is, save yourself the anxiety of thinking CC info got stolen.

Creators please read this!. I’ve been playing this for almost a week or two. I absolutely love the game, I play it everyday to keep up with my city etc. I have some suggestions, It takes forever to get $$ and most apps give people the options to watch ads to get $$. Can you make that possible, or figure out a way to help players get money especially for police, fire, and all the other important buildings you nee. It’s obnoxious cause it’s like once I use my $$ to pay for a fire building cause it can’t just cover the whole small city, you have to keep buying more and more, by then I ran out of money and I’m struggling to keep up. I’ve been selling items non stop and doing all I can to make $$ but it’s not enough. I’m to the point it’s kind of becoming a hassle and not a fun game anymore...you want us to pay $40,000 for a building to cover a lot of the city so I don’t have to keep buying more if that makes sense, and it just takes so long to build up that money. Then by the time I’m waiting on items to be available after making them it’s been hours.

SimCity is the best!!!. I love SimCity. You are a mayor of a city and you have to build it and keep your happiness up. In my bedroom, I make a pretend city call Tenaroto. Also, you get to buy and sell stuff and make your own stuff and you have to give your stuff that you make in your factories to the construction team so they can make houses and you can upgrade them and make them into HUGE towers like the skyscraper in NewYork City, United States. The only thing I don’t like about the game is there isn’t any crime, deaths, or fires when you build fire, police, and hospitals. Like in real life, even though houses have a fire station or a police station or a doctors office near there house, there are still crimes, fires, and sicknesses. Overall, SimCity is the best city building game in the world. Twiggy2508 P.S I also don’t like that you can’t make your own city name. My city name was going to be Tenaroto but had to change it to twiggy city. Please Change those things.

Make changes to Global Trade HQ. I find the game enjoyable however it would be nice if the developers added a feature that allows players search for a specific item(s) in the Global Trade HQ. Many times I find myself needing a specific item(s) that I cant make yet to upgrade a building or complete a quest. To bypass that issue I rely on the Trade HQ for what I need to continue. Currently when the Trade HQ is opened the player only sees “featured items” which is fine but there is no option that I have found to see only the items I need/want to see. For example say I needed to expand my city but was lacking one or more of the bulldozer parts, those three parts can’t be produced, they are obtained by chance during gameplay but people do occasionally sell them. Rather than wasting my time jumping in and out of different cities looking for those items it would be nice if there was a way to select and see only those items I need. It’s getting annoying when I need something and every “featured item” box contains pizza for an entire real world day.

Awesome totally recommend it. The game is a great game I started playing When I was 7 I’m am 11 now and still absolutely love it unlike a lot of other games it it not pay to go up I’m level 22 almost 23 and I have not spent a single cent on it I do things do take a little to long like 5 hours for glass but that is later in the game you do not need sim cash witch you get from achievements or contest of the mayor or you can straight up by it is sure it is a little overpriced but what do you expect there are no annoying advertisements either like a LOT of other greedy games. Trading is fun to find what you need right there updating it so I can’t use it at this moment but it will be soon but there is one thing I noticed Whalen you get items to launch disasters it gives you all but one of the items I don’t now if I just got unlucky or if it is on purpose most of the service buildings are fairly priced but I think the pollution radius is to big but this game is over all amazing than you for reading this review great job

Offers keep coming, and it gets annoying if you don’t want to spend at all. There are good reasons why this app deserves to get only three stars, and this is not just about all of these offers I mentioned that the application gives. The graphics of all of the buildings are great, and the requirements for building new buildings and upgrading them is somewhat good, but can end up taking a huge amount of time. If I was not connected to the internet, new building requirements for an upgrade would not be able to be changed immediately after watching an advertisement. Some basic building tools just take an unnecessary big amount of time to build, making me state that this is one big flaw this app has which is why I removed one star. I took away the second star (out of five) due to the fact that the excessive amount of pieces required to open locked spaces of land take a massive amount of space in the ‘city storage’. Not only is this app a great waste of time, but it also is a great waste of effort.

Where are the Freeways?. This game is very good. I will say I have something that I would really like if they added in a future update. The existence freeway that you get is a bit unrealistic. Real mega cities have dozens of different highways with large, high capacity intersections. For a future update, please consider adding buildable highways. What I would think is have the interchange at the city only accessible by a highway and have service interchanges that are automatically created when the highway intersects a normal road. You can start with a four lane ground level highway or an elevated one, then be able to upgrade it for a large price to improve the aesthetic of it. I actually think focusing more on the realism of the game could actually get you a lot of money. You can make it so that it costs a lot to make your city realistic looking, but you would be well rewarded for it. I can guarantee you that people will spend quite a bit of money if it gives them something like that, a realistic city.

Why I love SimCity build it and some tips to makers please read. This is a awesome game I got it like 2weeks ago and was really into it I love that there are no forced ads and if there are ads they get you material and all of the ads are optinal witch is great it fits everything I could ask for in a game I highly recommend this game for adventurous people just to exaggerate the point I lovvvvvvvvvvve this game absolutely the best game ever made I used to play a lot of others games this on e took them over in a snap so best game ever hope you buy it and enjoy it well actually if you buy it and spend enough time on it you will enjoy it no doubt it is really frustrating at the first that is where I almost quit but by the time a had 5,000 people in my city and if that sounds like a lot but it really isn’t that hard I have207,001 people in my city in under half a year I wish there was seasons though there is just day and night and rain there need to be snow and summer and spring and fall

Used to love her but I had to kill her. Building a city used to be fun. But you found a way to take all the fun out of it by making it some crazy social experiment. Like all other games like this, you make it easy to start, but then the stupidity kicks in. I have to gather so many weird items to upgrade. I have to participate in activities to get items. I have to sell and buy to reach achievements. And there’s no advancing until I do X, Y and Z in the right order. All of this to make you so frustrated that you start thinking about paying money so you don’t have to jump through these hoops. Until you run out of the resources you paid money for and it starts all over again. I keep coming back because I forgot about all the crap and think “hey, I’d like to build a city”. Then you remember that you’re not building a city anymore. You’re participating in an experiment designed to make you frustrated so that you will spend money. Guess I’ll be deleting this app again. I’ll probably try it again in a few years or not to discover they have added more pointless crap to annoy me. If you’d just make the game cost X dollars I would have purchased it in the way sim city used to be.

Best Game EVER. I’ve always been a hardcore simmer. And build it is amazing for a mobile platform game. It has soooo much that you can do and the developers put a lot of work into it. They also listen to the players and continue to improve the game as we play. I’ve seen complaints about expansion items and the rarity of certain other items, but honestly I have not had these issues. Sure I could get them quicker if I paid real cash, but I get them just fine through other sources. That’s something else I love. This game is not ridden with ads. There are ad bubbles that you can choose to click on and watch which will give you mystery items. And I LOVE THAT. I’m not forced to watch an ad but I get rewarded when I do willingly. My only complaint would be to allow us to collect some sort of tax on our regional cities. Those can be hard to develop with out strong ways to earn regional money. At least if the game asks for items for sale, sell them for more than just a few regional money. Most items are just 3-4 regional money.

Blatant hacks and inept developers. I give this game two stars instead of one because it can be fun and challenging when competing with other legitimate cities. Unfortunately, EA/Track Twenty have devoted woefully inadequate resources to combat hacking; giving rise to a group of hackers who are the most brazen I have seen in over 25 years of gaming. They literally have their own discord channels and aren't too careful about hiding what they're about. What does this mean for you? Mayors contests are dominated by players with scores that are mathematically impossible, and club wars are overrun with teams with cards that aren't yet achievable even to those who spend tens of thousands of dollars (let that sink in on its own; some actually spend at that level and still can't keep up). If such obvious hacks are reported (even by dozens of players), the cities are not removed until weeks or months later (if at all), and they simply storm back with other hacked cities as if nothing happened. TT's response: release increasingly novel ways to get players to make in-game purchases that perversely make hacking the game even easier. This game will make a great case study in how to destroy a promising game through ineptitude and negligence.

Great At The Beginning, but.... I’ve been playing this game for two years. The early stages of the game are fantastic. Building your city in your image is a lot of fun. Even in the middle stages the player has more options available as experience points grow. The game starts going down hill when you start to build London, Parisian, Tokyo, and worst of all Omega zone buildings. If you want to play for free it becomes ridiculously hard to accumulate items needed to upgrade those buildings. At least with the first three of those type of structures you can choose to bulldoze them and continue building with standard ones. But the damned Omega foundational buildings (ex: the neo bank, storage, etc) CAN’T BE ELIMINATED and take up real estate space on the grid. Then there’s the expansion piece. The more lots you acquire the fewer wheels/exhausts/and tractor blades pop up during the course of play. Building new structures grinds to a halt without new land to build on... unless of course you shell out $$ to buy the needed items. And I don’t want to get into the wars gimmick. Stupid and boring. I’m about ready to delete the game, but I hate to see all my work go down the drain.

Pretty fun at first, then you’ll hit the in-app purchase wall.... Things seem to move slowly unless you have a ton of cash, and you'll have to pay (real dollars) for it, a trade off for not having ads, so be it. Otherwise you'll have to wait longer for things to build. Fun to play over multiple sessions, however, but eventually you’ll hit the in-app purchase wall and gameplay will almost come to a halt until you buy something with real money via in-app purchase to expand your city storage or create items to keep expanding buildings or city boundaries. It’s one thing to have to pay a little for a game, but its another to extort customers to complete gameplay in a game. To finish this, I could imagine someone spending hundreds of dollars in the game’s in-app purchases, which is kind of a ripoff for what you get. The gameplay is even kind of frustrating the way you end up spending all your efforts just building things, and not actually managing the city. It starts to become routine like an assembly-line doing the same things over and over, and becomes not fun.

Great, but..... A well balanced game, however I have a few gripes with it so far. Number 1 since the last update some “buildings” with water features are now dark blue and do not blend in with the water of a lake or pond it looks very out of place, it seems like no big deal but if you play this game from a design aspect it throws it off. Number 2 when upgrading to an epic building, the items it asks for are not easy to get in most cases, which is expected, however why ask for 5?!? And repeatedly ask for the same item in those same large quantities? Makes no sense, 2 or 3 is reasonable, as it will take awhile anyway just for those. Number 3 why not have separate speed up tokens for factories as well, that can’t be purchased but only made like with the epic buildings? The last one isn’t a gripe but a request, please give us more landscape and design features in the game(i.e that are not earned but simply purchased through the many forms of currency), a lot of them are too similar and plain looking. Although there’s way more to do in this game than just build it’s still a design game at its core.

Mostly love it. This game is fun. There’s plenty to do and a lot of game play available. However I’m getting frustrated with the Design Contests. It is too easy for the contest to close and have a design not get submitted. When the contest closes any design that has met the minimum requirements should automatically submit or be rewarded the submission points. I had a design that even though there was time on the clock (seconds) when I hit submit didn’t get submitted. I was done just waiting for nightfall for the picture. Very frustrating. You have no lighting control, and no idea how much time is going to pass for the light to cycle. Then it turns out you can’t rely on the time to submit countdown either. I’m changing my rating from 4 stars to 3. it used to be possible to watch adds to accelerate the completion of raw goods from the factories. This feature has been removed. This makes the game too drawn out or expensive. Already it is difficult or expensive to expand storage as well as to expand a large city. It is frustrating and boring to have to wait so long to progress. I’m thinking of quitting altogether.

Very Good... But.. I really REALLY love this game and have been playing almost nonstop this summer. I love the challenge incorporated with the police and health and that, the specializations. But the only thing I don’t like is that now that I have unlocked the beach, the structures there give an area population boost. This is a problem for me because the part of my town with people is not close to the beach while my factories and all that stuff is. It is really hard to move everything around and that because if I were to move it, I could mess up or forget everything. What l am suggesting is something like clash of clans where you can do a whole world edit, in which you have your area, but it is empty, and you have to add all your buildings. This also shows you if that formation works, if all buildings are protected etc. I feel that this will save a lot of time and make the game better. Otherwise this game is the best! Thanks for making this game!

Needs New Marketplace. Overall, it is well done. However, the game developers should really consider the marketplace feature. Currently, you must wait 30 seconds for a random selection of items to appear. More often than not the items that appear are the same items all priced at the highest market value. This makes it incredibly difficult to find particular items that are more rare. A true marketplace where I could search for the item I want to purchase would not only make life in the game a bit easier, it would also allow for true economic principles to take shape: pricing strategies. If it is a rare item the salesman can sell it at a high price, and if it is common and you want to sell it more quickly then price it lower. Having a screen with all the cities selling a particular item would allow the player to price shop for their item, and make it so the player doesn’t have to stare at their phone for 30 minutes praying a particular item randomly appears in the trade HQ only to be snagged by someone else .5 seconds before.

OMEGA and CLUB Review. Something has got to give on the omega production/storage units. You can't control what items that need to be manufactured, and you can't sell/delete the items you may have too many of or do not need. Your storage unit gets way too full of useless or the exact same items over and over again and then you're essentially screwed. You have to build an omega structure just to get rid of items you don't need, then if you don't have the neo-coins to buy the drones etc. for that structure, you have to delete it. All to do the exact same thing over again just to get your inventory down to try and collect more random items in hopes of getting what you need. Either make it where you can sell/delete items out of your omega storage unit or where you can actually pick what you manufacture. The way it's set up now is a little ridiculous. ALSO, Members within a club should be able to donate keys, platinum keys, and coins to other club members. The only real way to help members out is just to put up items for sale. You should be able to donate more "stuff" to your club members.

Thanks!

Too expensive. I’m giving this a low review in hopes they make a change. I love this game and I come back to it so much, I've deleted it and redownloaded it so many times I’ve spent real money on it. The reason I always end up deleting it is the same every time. The beginning is the best part. Once you get to a certain point it becomes no fun. You unlock to many things at one time and they all cost way to many coins.. I just reached level 14 and I unlocked waste management, gardening supplies, mass production plants, and my sewage demand became to high all at one time… in total it would cost my city 75,000 coins just to get me back to where I need to be and I have only 7000 in the bank.. and each building upgrade only gives you an average of 1,000 coins.. but a lot of XP. So by the time you build up enough money to buy something. Three other things unlock that you need to buy too and it just keeps piling up. So they need to either 1.) make it so you make more money on building upgrades 2.) make it so you get less XP from building upgrades or 3.) make it less expensive to buy things like sewage plants and waste management planets and police stations.
