Cancel Subscription. I cannot find out how to cancel my subscription. This app does not give any customer service assistance for cancellations. This is so frustrating!!!

Lots of great patterns!. I am always excited to see the newest edition of Simply Crochet, as so far every issue has at least one thing I'm excited to make. I also go to back issues pretty often to find patterns. I am a USA subscriber to this British crochet magazine, so I had to get used to British terms first, but that was not too difficult.

Always my favorite. I always find at least 4 patterns that I'm going to make. Everything is cute, challenging and just fun. By far my favorite crochet magazine with a great mix of amigurumi and general crochet patterns for all skill levels. 😀✂️

Love the magazine, hate the service.. As another reviewer mentioned, the magazine is great and informative, but recently the purchases I made will no longer show up. No matter how many times I restore or update the magazines that I have paid for still only show a blank screen when I click to read them. It is upsetting how Apple, pocketmags or even simply crochet are unwilling to help their customer after they have received their money. So anyone interested in this magazine, stick to the print copies.

Love magazine. I love this magazine and get it here in the US. I went ahead and purchased the back issues electronically. I just wish there was a good option to get the print and digital version in one subscription. The patterns are more modern and fun and less "grannyish".

Terrific!. I have never had ANY problems with the app, nor have I had any problems I LOVE the magazine, and am so glad to have the app, which makes the magazine much more easily accessed.

Nice but request a modification. The app is fine, but it would be helpful if you displayed the table of contents for each magazine so we know exactly what we are buying. Thanks!

Great App!. This is the first digital magazine that I've ordered, and I absolutely love it! I've been buying paper copies at B&N and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a subscription of a UK crochet magazine, but I've looked at several other US magazines, and I felt this one had patterns that better suit my style. I loved it so much that I went ahead and bought all the back issues too! The app is so easy to navigate, and I like the fact that I can click a link to a web page directly in the app. Disappointed that the contests are only open to UK residents, but that is at no fault to the app developer. The only real issue I've had so far is that the app has crashed a few times when trying to start up, but I just reopen it and it works.

Soooo slow. I open this app, get coffee, take the dog out and maybe the magazines will be available after all of that. Maybe being the operative word. I was also disappointed to find that my bookmarks didn't transfer when I got a new iPad. I spent an hour searching through issues to find the doughnut cushion pattern I was working on.

Love the patterns. I love the patterns much better than most US pattern books. But the app does have problems.

No support for renewing subscription. I've been trying to find out when my subscription renews. No way to figure this out. I've tried deleting the app and downloading again. I've tried writing the support line with no reply. I've gone to the website to get to the purchase option but it takes me to the app store to download which I already have. I would renew my subscription if it would allow me to!!!! HELP!

Long overdue for an update. I want to read this magazine. But, the app itself is so buggy that it has a mind of its own. Then it crashes. I can’t even use it.

New App Not So Good. You can't print in the new app. Regular subscription issues transfer okay from the old app, but forget about any special issues you've purchased. Customer support has no answer and has not responded for several days. I won't be renewing my digital subscription.

Decent magazine. Only gotten one issue so far but still feeling it out if I can make it away from print versions. Hard to keep you device awake when working a pattern. I will rate when I have more time with it.

Bad App. This app doesn’t work when you purchase through I tunes. I bought the subscription and a past issue and have not been able to look at them at all!!! Don’t waist you money!!!!!!

Terrible support. This is a wonderful magazine. However, all of the special editions that are available for purchase disappears from all of my Pocketmag apps. I have quite a few, so this was quite devastating. I have made repeated requests for help, but get no answers, just the same information that is on the support site, such as to update to the new app (did that the day they were released) restore purchases (did that first), Sync (did that next, the tried restore again). After doing all of that to no avail I then started emailing support and am getting no help at all. Be warned and be sure you're cord every single purchase and keep up with which issues you have purchased because I have also lost access to some of my precious prescription purchases. If someone will actually take me seriously and help me, I will remove this review and rating

Super buggy app. Love the mag, but the app stinks.

Excellent!. I completely love this app! The layout is smooth and user friendly, not too many notifications, and I love that links in the magazine actually work. The actual paper mag is quite pricey for me in the US, so this is a great way for me to keep up with the best crochet magazine in the UK!!

No support. Magazine issues that have been purchased suddenly show requiring payment again. No response after requesting help many times.

Won't open. Several of my issues will not open. When I tap the issue I get a black screen that shows 0% and stays there. Everything on my iPhone and iPad is current/up to date. I've tried reaching out to tech support but get no answer. I am very disappointed.

Issues. I don't know what the problem is but most of the time it freezes when I try to open it. I have a subscription but I am thinking very seriously about canceling it. I can't get into the ones I've purchased let alone download the new ones. This hasn't always been a problem and isn't with other apps only Simply Knitting and Simply Crochet. Please fix the issue.

Great Magazine, App has Problems. I love this magazine, and look forward to every issue. In the past I’ve had problems whenever the app is updated. This time it happened again. All of my first year’s purchases have been removed. The app wants me to repurchase all the magazines I bought under the first app. Also, in this new version, I can no longer include notes on my new bookmarks, thus making it confusing as to when I am bookmarking a shawl pattern or a new crochet motif. This is very annoying, and I hope you change it back. So, now how do I get back my magazines?

Obsessed!. Always something special to make in every issue. So many ideas, I need more yarn! Not sure how my husband will feel as crocheted items start sneaking up all over our house, but I know I'll have fun with it!

App quit working. The app quit downloading the newest issue. I need my money back since I have 5 months of subscription left or fix the app!

Haven’t received one issue for three months. I have a subscription and have not received one issue in three months. Why?

Purchases not available. Purchased issues and special issues from the old app are not available in the new app. When the old app is accessed a pop up message instructs you to create an account and download the new app. Once the new app is downloaded, purchases from the old app are supposed to transfer over. After numerous attempts this has not happened. I am not purchasing any more issues until this is resolved.

Not your granny's crochet. I love this magazine. The projects are very modern, fresh and current. The patterns are well written and illustrated, and stitch instructions are very helpful. I get a lot of inspiration and useful information from every issue.

Review. Thank you for spreading sunshine to my life. I am in my 80’s and getting ideas from your magazine for projects enhance my life. I purchase when there is a special or sale. Only wish I could purchase more.

Love Magazine. I had the old app, good. I now have the new app. I think I've bought one issue twice when the app doesn't work. With the new app there always seem to be updates. Occasionally when updating the app stops working. Most recently, when the June issue was in my library I was unable to download. I waited a few days and the screen froze. I deleted app from iPad, then opened the app. It is working great now. Love all the patterns, ideas, pictures, articles, the designers. Each year a different designer has a special section for the year. I've only made a few small items so far and I have plenty planned.

My Favorite Crochet Magazine. I saw a pattern from the magazine on a blog, and hunted a copy down at the bookstore. I loved the style of the magazine, as well as the range of patterns- in style and skill level- and I started a digital subscription. When there was a sale, I purchased every back issue! I look forward to reading it every month!

I would give half a star if I could. This app has the potential to be awesome; Except it never works! Freezes when I attempt to open it. Signed up for the Free 60 days. It's been 20 and I haven't even been able to open it to utilize it. Constantly sending me notifications to try the 60 day trial (that I already signed up for). Ready to delete the app & lose the magazines I did pay for to save me the aggravation.

My purchased issues won't download. I subscribed to simply crochet a few years ago. I have a new phone now and can no longer obtain the issues I paid for. When I try to restore past purchases it tells me that it isn't finding any. Really unhappy with this app, would not recommend paying for downloads as its at their discretion when you will lose access to them.

Buggy App. I love the content, but the app has so many bugs. Every time I open it, I am prompted to enter my password, and then get frequent pop-up alerts that I can only purchase it once even though I’m not trying to purchase anything. I also feel that the bookmarks function could be further refined, allowing for re-ordering or organizing saved pages.

App needs work. Most of the time I can’t even look through an issue without the application stopping

Love simply crochet!. I have been purchasing this magazine for over a year now! I try to never miss one! The patterns are always amazing and beautiful and so easy to follow! I recently started purchasing the magazine through the app and it works great! I haven't encountered anything I don't like!

Love!. I was someone who could do basic crochet, but I recently decided to step up my game. One of the first, and best, resources I picked up was Simply Crochet. I've never had trouble going back and forth from US to U.K. as the patterns are very straightforward. Hoping to go all in for a full subscription in the very near future.

Unreliable and frequent error messages. I like the magazine but the app doesn’t seem to be capable of holding all of its own magazines?? Every time I open in I get an insufficient space error and I’ve removed a bunch of magazine downloads (which is a bummer because they are slow to re-download) Overall it’s not a very smooth app but it’s fine and does the job

Ms. Lovely modern patterns

Working well now doesn’t open. I was able to purchase all the back issues for a great price at Xmas. But now the open won’t even open and keeps crashing. Please fix it otherwise I’d like my £60 back!!

Great magazine. Simply Crochet is my favourite magazine, heaps of patterns as well as great articles and tips. Love that it has an app that I can use on my phone to read when I can

Bookmarks. One thing I liked about this compared to other magazines was the bookmarks. They used to be able to be neatly organised abs easily accessible . In the new version this is no longer the case. Why go backwards?

Love the magazine, greatly dislike the updated app. The app is glitchy, freezes and closes down unexpectedly. And trying to download the latest issue is an exercise in patience. It downloads, then closes, then is no longer downloaded, then it downloads a little but and then queues, even though it is the only thing downloading.

Issue 32 failing to download!!. I have purchased the current magazine, issue 32 and it will not download. Incredibly disappointed. I purchased the previous issue and it loaded without a problem. I have tried restarting my iPad, reloading the app, updating my software. All of which have no fixed it!! Please fix this ASAP. I was going to take advantage of your current deal and. purchase a subscription but I am put off that I can't even download the current issue.

Great Mag. Bad App.. I love this magazine. But the app has to be constantly opened and closed to get the view correct - it's always reverting to sideways, upside down etc etc. Often at random moments. No - my accelerometer is not broken. It's just this app.

Not happy. When the magazine changed hands I got a notification and instructions on how to transfer my purchases to the old App……I followed them to the last detail…….to no avail. I had bought 4 Simply Crochet mags but the new app says I need to buy them again (if I want them!) HA! won’t get tricked like that again!! Its so annoying I won’t even buy them in the newsagent now because I feel so ripped off.

Poor New App. I have had nothing but trouble with the new app. Regularly I can not access my magazines. The new app does not allow me to print the patterns that I have paid for. I will not renewing my subscription.

Ok but clunky. The concept of this app is good. It’s easy to use, purchase mags and read them. However, I’ve had issues downloading purchased mags to my phone which haven’t been resolved - it starts the download, but gets stuck in a loop. Furthest I’ve gotten is 42% downloaded.

Favourite crochet mag. A must for crochet lovers, always full of great patterns etc.

Issue 32 will not download. This morning I bought issue 32. My purchase was successful, but when I tried to download the issue it just kept saying "waiting" and failing to download. I'm not happy and feel cheated as you have my money and I have no magazine! Please fix your app so I can download issue 32. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and it still won't download. Other issues I have purchased downloaded but not issue 32. Please fix it!!!!

Mrs. Loved the magazine, however the app let it down, this is the reason I decided not to continue my subscription. It continually crashed, or I simply couldn't access my magazines. I sent many emails to their support their help was very limited.

Mrs. Online subscription means I have all the instructions on my iPad and goes everywhere with me. Wonderful.

Love digital magazines. Enjoy the quality articles and patterns. The iPad app doesn’t function as well as my iPhone app. Issues don’t load and I often have to delete the app and re download it. The only other drawback being a digital subscriber is you miss out on the freebies attached to the hard copy.

Terrible.. Since the new app came out I haven't been able to open any of my magazine purchases. It's been a good 3 months if not longer since they have worked. I'm really rather annoyed as I have several projects on the go, all of which are on hold until the app starts to work again.

The worst magazine app I’ve ever used.. I’ve had this app on my tablet for four years - during that time I’ve lost count how many times it’s crashed, failed to download the issue, downloaded the issue then I’ve been unable to open it, every time it updates it send gremlins my way and I know I’m not the only person who experiences this terrible service. I no longer have a subscription because I don’t trust the app, but occasionally I pay for a one off magazine because I live in Australia and the magazine is hard to source through newsagents. Paid for latest issue, downloaded it, guess what? It’s disappeared. So have a number of other issues I’ve bought. Just the worst app ever.

Simply Crochet. I love the magazine! There aren’t as many crochet magazines as there are knitting magazines, so keep it coming! I’ve been a subscriber to your digital magazine from the beginning. The only problem I have is with the app. When I haven’t had a chance to go back and update my issues in a timely manner, they have to be repurchased in order for me to access them again. I find that a real nuisance. Definitely something to fix!

Turrible. Glitchy, annoying. The updates are useless. Plus, sometimes the magazine has freebies like little kits. Digital doesn't provide the freebies so you kind of feels ripped off. Don't bother with this app.

Simply Crochet. Fantastic magazine I have made many lovely projects. My favorite thing is they use color-coding for the different sizes in garments so it's very easy to stay on track.

One of the best crochet resources. I love the patterns in this magazine. The styles and range are far more "me" than a lot of other pattern mags out there, which often look like bad craft fair castoffs.
