Great little app.. Really helps keep me on some sites that try to be censors and block content.

A VPN that does not Connect to any other virtual location. Unfortunately now that I connect the VPN, all the virtual locations are grayed out. Therefore I cannot select any other location to connect to. It used to be great, but now I’m disappointed. Now they can not even get right the "reset password" feature. I never receive the email. I would not true a "tech company" with these types of incompetence. I would like to get a refund.

Unbearably slow. I recommend looking elsewhere for your VPN. They got me on the 40 month sign-up bonus, at first it worked kinda, still slow. Very soon after, it gradually began getting slower and slower. However it never really worked on servers from other countries, only auto-connect worked at all. Continually got slower, finally to the point where I couldn’t stand it and bought another VPN. No response from support either. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Does not work properly on iPhone 12 Pro Max when using cellular data.. The phone will only work for about 30 minutes then stops connecting to the Internet when using cellular data. The only way to get it working is to either restart the phone or remove the app.

Billed me for premium but doesn’t work. Tried the free trial and it was great. Paid for the yearly subscription and it billed me but keeps taking me to the enrolment page when I try and use it. When I go to request a refund from Apple it says I do not have an active subscription to ask for a refund

So easy and good bandwidth!. I have tried so many VPNs but ZenMate is by far the easiest to use. And it offers the greatest number of high bandwidth servers. Use this one for sure.

Not Able To Stream. I like this software. But was disappointed that if I want to stream a movie, I cannot with this software activated. I tried disabling, but the system wouldn’t let me. So I had to completely uninstall it to view movies.

Keeps crashing with IOS13 update. The app keeps crashing after iOS 13 update. You can’t switch it off. There is no way to see which vpn server you are connected to as the app doesn’t run.

Great app. I love zenmate. Have been using it for years. Works fast, simple to use and for a good price.

Improved. NOTE: The iOS apps work well. Mac app is buggy and useless. Their customer service is the worst. Can be a bit slow to connect. Don’t know if that has to do with the blockers that I use. Pros Good speed on all devices. Notifications of secure v unsecured connections. Blocks unsecured connections on the Mac. Cons Cannot whitelist trusted networks. However, given the speed and reliability of ZenMate, this may not matter.

One Week No Issues. I've had Zenmate Pro for about a week on my iPhone, web browsers, and PC. I haven't noticed a single difference in speed or latency. I'm very happy with my purchase thus far!

Simple and inexpensive. The app is very simple and I have had no problems connecting from the United States. Connection speed on North American and Asian servers is very fast.(25 mbps) European servers can be slow. (10 average France was 3 mbps)

Application Problem. Application have many problems ! When i want to connect to a server it waste my time for about 3-4 minutes to load Servers , and it disconnected more than other free apps ! and other thing is : this app didnt update and fixes these bugs for 1 year ! I wasted my money for trash App

Does work for some apps only. This is not a good vpn app, it works sometimes and for some apps only. The support is bad, I’m trying to get a problem fixed since over a month without success. The computer app doesn’t work at all. Don’t spend money on ZenMate!!!

Zenmate v.5 Terrific. I’m impressed with Zenmate’s many features, ease of use, and reliability. The streaming services are particularly useful. Version 5 is working well. This is a terrific and trustworthy service for maintaining anonymity online.

Doesn’t support Russia for vpn information access. - no updates for more than 8 months - didn’t address huge amount of issues including: switching between locations without connection break, connect to the required country host without ping to the main server (seems the reason why it is so easy to block your vpn service in some of the countries - didn’t think ahead or yet addressed Russian local website-ban-authority, although they’ve been talking about blocking vpns for over a year now I’m not sure why I paid for over 3 years of subscription.

Ok on iPad not iPhone. Easy interface. But on iPhone I can only select a VPN in Romania. No other option. iPad has full functionality

iPhone X optimization finally!!. Thank goodness for iPhone X optimizations finally. Runs much faster now. There are still some bugs im encountering such as tapping on certain things in settings and the app will crash. I also see “Eversecure” and there is nothing explaining what that feature does before I enable it.

Game changer. I can watch everything I want to ... 24 hours is not enough for the endless possibilities of entertainment that I have added to my life with this App

Doesn't work anymore + no refund. You would better think twice before subscribing, especially for one year as they have a very rigid policy not to refund their clients after a while, whatever the reason, even when the app doesn't work on your phone. I can tell you that.

Great VPN. I don't have much experience with paid VPNs as this is my main and only one i use. But i can tell you that it's such a great value for the money especially if you get a good deal on a license.

Not the best experience. I went for the Ultimate Plan in order to streaming online videos, but the performance has been poor and customer service even worst. Real disappointment. 2 stars as it at least work from time to time, but no consistency.

Servers are great. Best quality the bill is sort of cheap allowed to stream high quality movies with popcorn time :D thanks.

Totally useless in countries with censorship. I live in Iran, a country with heavy censorship of the internet and i need vpn to access the web freely. Unfortunately ZenMate app is not designed for accessing in countries with censored internet. Why? Because when i open the app in mi phone it doesn’t load the server list unless i connect another VPN and then the ZenMate app shows the server list. It’s ridiculous. If i have another working VPN why should I bother to use this one? 😐

So many issues!. I amNOT happy with this service. I have had so many issues. It worked great for about a month or two, then constantly having to reboot/re-upload, can’t access Netflix anymore , constantly chooses a country I don’t want, can’t get my content now from Australia, even though it says I am in that zone, constantly wiping out my wifi. Way too many headaches and time lost trying to problem solve! I would love my moneyback, but they say I need to contact apple. Unhappy customer

Paid for Premium, Got Nothing!. I’ve paid for premium, but needed to verify my email account BEFORE the premium would activate… Very frustrating, because they haven’t sent a verification email, AND clicking the “resend verification” button doesn’t do anything… I’ve checked that my email address is correct, checked junk mail, written a letter to support help on the ZenMate website and they have “auto-replied” to my email address, so I know the details are correct… and they still haven’t responded to the problem of TAKING MONEY AND NOT ACTIVATING THE SERVICE immediately… This has carried on for 6 hours today, despite the website saying that a simple “browser refresh” will activate Premium… Just “wow” really…. Complete waste of time and money… and they have 700,000 users in China, plus another half a million users around the world! I hope they employ more than 15 people in the near future!!

Very Convenient, But Beware. I really like the simplicity and convenience of this app. I use the Premium service on iMac, iPad and iPhone. The one major flaw as I see it is the lack of an internet kill switch. Without this, if the connection to the ZenMate server disconnects then your IP address etc. will leak. It has happened to me a number of times when connecting to the UK server. I have asked ZenMate to state whether they intend to add an internet Kill Switch feature. Here’s hoping, as this is a good product.

Money charged but only free services available. A scam. 4 days ago I paid for premium subscription, got confirmation from iTunes, but zen mate is still showing only basic account status and services.

Why?. It only costs money.

Secure? Not!!. Used this all (free 7 day trial of premium version) until today. Supposedly 'secure ip address' was unable to hide my actual ip address. Not what I call secure. Can't and don't trust it.

Easy and works!. Has worked for my whole family across desktops, laptops, tablets and phones. Simple and easy to use. I've done multiple tests and it doesn't leak. Just make sure you aren't running anything else with location services prior to starting it up... Sometimes needs to restart to refresh VPN.

Can’t change country. I’ve been trying to change the country but it’s stuck at United States for mobile version. I tried it on my desktop and it worked. Please fix this. Update - it’s been 4 months and the same bug is in the new update. No one has tried to fix this or contact me. Its extremely annoying.

Disappointing changes.. I appreciate the free time limited premium upgrade, but if it doesn't improve I will not purchase premium. This app was so much better before. Keeps losing the connection. Error says there is no data connection when there definitely is, other apps can find and use the data. Have to log in and go thru whole set up/ add vpn process almost every time.

Good app but..... It works. But, the premium account doesn't. It changes back to free version even though Apple charged me. There are other free apps that are just as good. Look elsewhere.

DOES NOT WORK WITH FIRESTICK. even though they state it works with all versions of firestick it does NOT WORK AT ALL after i signed up for a year membership and tried to put on my 3 firesticks (2 4K and a normal firestick ) it would not work so i contacted customer support and was told it does not work with firestick at this time ? i asked why do all the ads state it does and was told they at present spent work but may in the future so then i had to wait almost 2 weeks for a refund and contacted customer service 3 times do not get if you plan to use for a furestick

VPN rocks!. I'm blown away by the ease of setting it up without any difficulties. Now I feel secure about going online and have my privacy protected at the same time. I will be subscribing myself to ZenMate Premium on my mobile device soon, and I hope it's linked to PC when it becomes available. Great job, and I hope ZenMate developers design a universal Windows app ready for Windows 10. The only downside about this app is constant disconnect when inactive.

I wish I could give it 3 stars. But ZenMate is not worth it… If you just want a foreign IP to hide your own so that you can download from piratebay, ZenMate definitely can do the job. But if you want serious service availability and want to rely on it, don’t bother. In my case, I need a China IP to relay my traffic. The IP ZenMate provided never worked, not even for once, despite the app ALWAYS tells you that you are good to go. When I reach the customer service, no matter what you explain, they never come up with troubleshooting processes or guidance on tuning the settings, just re-installs. And It was very clear that the representatives I talked to didn’t know about their technology at all. Yes, ZenMate is dirt cheap compared with many other VPNs, and it has a very good UI, but it is just not a good piece of software for what it meant to achieve.

Notifications. The app is okay, on iphone x it looks weird. The zenmate vpn service is actually not that bad, it is better than free services, but i think there is a lot of room for improvement in consistency of the service. Plus whats with the notifications on the iphone, as soon as you open the app, start getting notifications that require you to go to a link which i never wait to open. Just let me connect and forget, no one needs to get constant unwanted notifications about some god damn exciting news that you have everyday. If you are going to give me a notification, make it count so i dont go in the settings and turn the whole thing off (which i did)

just installed as suggested by digital crackberry offer. I had difficulty accessing my license as per the procedure provided by Crackberry but Zenmate support was very helpfull with installation.

Horrible customer service when the service doesn’t work!. My zenmate on my laptops have not been working since September 2022. I’ve reached out the customer service numerous times. They say it’s a known issue and they are working on it. But this has been 4 months now! I’m asking for refund and no response! Please do not purchase their services! My ticket number is 310508

3D Touch on Favourite VPN. Enabling 3D Touch would be more efficient and effective when loading the favourite selected countries. Please consider that for future upgrades.

Don’t waste your money. I subscribed last fall .... used for 2 iPhones only... when I recently tried to add my iPad it said I’m using 5 devices which I’m not. All I want to do is unsubscribe snd they’re giving me a hard time ! Why don’t they just let you unsubscribe?

Frustrating. Can’t get passed the email verification on the mobile app. Despite confirming my email, it doesn’t let me go beyond the email verification process. Gave up and deleted the app.

It just does NOT work at all. I am a premium paid member, yet the connection speed is crap and disconnects after few minutes ( in rare cases of it actually conneting to the server)... I strongly believe this company is out of business or it is just ripping people off.

Works for trial period then doesn’t work at all. Works great during trial period then constantly disconnects and stays disconnected afterwards. Won’t refresh even with background app refresh on. Makes it so my phone has 0 service. Worst app ever. Period.
