Great game variety. I like how this game challenges me and particularly the robustness of my abilities, that is the strong suit. It also probably has my second favorite variety on any app (I play the free version of 5 lol) I am writing to offer some advice/feedback. I would love to see geist have an account system so I can play it on a PC. I'm trying to do my brain training on different devices and this seems like the only one that doesn't have a website.

Sal. Great game that sharpens the mind. A terrific way to pass the time when you’re bored—much better than browsing the net, which can be mindless and mind-dulling.

Good. I like the games a lot. I think this app is much better than others. I just wished the language section was more about building vocabulary in the English language, not Spanish.

Restart game setting. Please include a restart game setting. I have test anxiety, and use several brain training games each day. The lack of restart is a disappointment.

Memorado is awesome!!. Memorado has helped me get better and relax. It’s a great app to spend my time one when I’m bored. I enjoy it a lot, and so does my brother.

Great but 1 small problem. I love GEIST. I have been looking for brain training games but all of them require you paying for it. I kept searching until I found GEIST. GEIST is super fun and I love their IQ tests and games but there is one small problem with one game. The game robot factory in the reaction area is glitchy. I tap the pieces and it counts it wrong in levels 11, 12, and 13. If you fix the glitch it would be 5 stars for me.

mediocre at best. at first I really liked the design and vibe of this app but after now using it for a couple months and being a premium subscriber I will say definitively that this app is boring it always has me playing the same games very repetitive and it doesn’t really seem like the developer is making any real significant improvements or updates there’s no account feature which means there’s no way to sync your progress between devices seems like a basic function that the developer eliminated and has no interest in reinventing so I wouldn’t recommend this app for a long-term because it doesn’t seem like the developer is serious about it and also pro tip do not pay the full price for the premium keep saying no until a much lower price is shot because you can easily get premium for 50% off their asking price if you for some reason love you so much that you feel like that’s necessary otherwise if your social on this app I would just say there’s better out there

Tried to unsubscribe from trail. Don’t try free trail unless you know how to delete subscriptions. The directions for deleting from I phone not correct and not being tech savvy and trying a number of times I missed deadline. No contact info for app.

Mostly great !!. Most of the games are great, however game titled Spelling Bee (es) will only go as far as level 17. Not sure why. Anyone with this experience, I'd appreciate feedback. Such a bummer.

Amazing but costly.. I know the premium is worth it but I can’t afford it right now. :(

Really great app!. I really enjoy Memorado, it helps me relax and feel like I’m smarter than I was a minute ago. I completely suggest this app to those who want to feel like they can do things better and sharper, but also want to be able to let go and relax. All I would suggest is that they let people play all the brain games on the app without having to pay. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change anything else about Memorado.

Best of them all. I have a premium subscription to both Peak and Elevate. But decided to also give Geist premium a shot. Wow! The graphics are much better. The entire user interface is better. The games are better. I love this app! They didn’t have to but on top of that they threw in Meditations and Sleep section, recognizing this is part of brain enhancement. Who are these guys? And the icing on the cake? Their subscription is cheaper than the other popular apps! Why isn’t this app the number one already? When it comes time to renew, I’m dropping the others and keeping Geist. No doubt about it.

Love it. Very stimulating. Really appreciate the variety and creativity of each challenge.

Thoroughly impressive. I really enjoyed the format and presentation of both the memory games and the meditation education. My first time using it and I can’t wait to do so again. In short.....VERY WELL DONE!

Advancement issue. I like this app a lot. The games use different parts of the brain. However, to the developer: it is very frustrating that in the daily workout one goes on to the next level before mastering the current one. I’m at a point where I rarely succeed at several games and have to go back and do them “manually” by choosing an appropriate level. I hope you will fix this.

It’s okay.. I realize I only use the free version, so I won’t be getting top quality but it’s still pretty lame. The robot game is glitchy and slow to respond. The “IQ test” which probably is not even close to actuate gives you the same question almost every time. And the games don’t seem worth it to pay extra, at least not as much as they charge.

Good puzzles. I like the mind games. The are fun and challenging. Wish the premium was not so expensive.

Geist. I do not like how in the square recall game the first square selected makes the whole answer wrong; I can’t untap the square once selected. So my whole answer is now automatically wrong if I tap the wrong square first. No going back.

Giest. I enjoy games like this because I can take away from it. I can retract my self on certain things that I haven’t used in a while and it allows me to test my self utilizing a good type of mental stress.

IPAD INCOMPATIBLE (+ developers have abandoned app). Not optimized to use on an iPad (doesn’t support landscape orientation, etc) which seems like a rather indefensible oversight, considering how much this app costs (the free version isn’t worth it). I was willing to overlook that initially, but considering all of the glitches and crashes that continue to remain unfixed and unaddressed, this app has become a disappointment, particularly because it had a lot of potential. C’est la vie. Now that the developers appear to have fully jumped ship and essentially abandoned this app (leaving users requests for support and questions unanswered for months now) it is time for me— and you— to go read the reviews of a DIFFERENT app as we search for a worthy substitute.

MEMORADO “timout” video has calming effect!. I have enjoyed one peaceful video of islands, the camera scanning slowly the mind and body calm to a standstill.

Stories. These are amazing and I do it with my younger brother now and now we have a tradition during the corona break

Another Subscription App?. I am so tired of apps wanting you to pay monthly for their services! Whatever happen to apps that were great but covered in advertisements. I wish that I wasn’t bombarded with a trial or subscription when I first opened the app. I’m sure that this application is great... I’m just not impressed on how you are greeted.

Like Luminosity. Like luminosity, but easier to play on phone. Gives you score of your progress relative to others, but you don’t know with whom you are being compared.

starts way too easy. Wish there was a way to skip to a harder level.

Bad Interface. I used to love this app, the logic behind these test is awesome. But i just can’t stand the new interface and visual design - it is awful. Different fonts, eyes are overloaded with colours and size of test pictures seem to not be optimized. Once loved, now spoiled, I definitely won’t pay for extra test. tho I hope it will be fixed

Is 123 the max IQ score?. I’ve been achieving the same result consecutively for days now after finishing between 1-3 minutes. Is this the cap or am I getting a question wrong each time?

Money Stolen!!!. To the thieves at Memorado: Is it company policy to ignore customer concerns including issues of theft from your company in which you the money stolen belongs to your potential consumers? This is odd behavior, oh and it’s illegal. Please respond to show other potential consumers where you stand on the issue. Your silence can only be received as admission of your theft

Yearly sub for this?. Putting a premium continuous subscription model on some basic mind games is pretty low. Putting a one time offer to unlock everything doesn’t make you generous, it makes you pushy and exploitative. Why not just charge once for everybody and stop with the sales pressure? Oh right, because standards mean nothing to you. Giving everyone different price tags based on your desperation is not a good look, when you’re already talking about a low shelf product. I can’t believe people actually justify this practice, then wonder why the AppStore is flooded with such exploitative garbage at the same time.

Nice App. The exercises of this app are fun and the IQ test is a good daily challenge for your brain. I would recommend this app to other people who might want to exercise their brain more or if they’re just be bored.

Robbed me out of around 40-50$.. I used Geist a lot until i opened the game without deleting the game. Then, for some reason, when i just got in, it offered me the thing i got a while back. Keep in mind, i bought all of the games PERMANENTLY, or thats what they claimed to do. It was permanent for a while, until this morning when i checked the game. Dont buy anything from this game because i got scammed and you could get scammed too.

Logan. I love to play memory games when I am bored. The only thing is,that to be a member is to expensive.

Confused. Is my subscription only works on IPad? I am attempting to log in on my computer (bigger screen) but am unable to get to premium features. The same email/password as on my iPad. There is no way to contact support other than leave a review? So far, not happy...

Memorado. Memorado is a really cool game I found recently. I’m always looking for puzzles or mindfulness exercises. This app has got it all...I’d recommend it to every what who likes keeping their brain sharp!

A bit pricey. Fun challenge to test your IQ. Do recommend if you want to enhance your knowledge skills. Unlock levels if you upgrade. A bit pricey but worth it if you’re looking to do this!

Not really free. Not worth the download unless you purchase the premium version. I tried to move forward with just the free portion but got frustrated because every time you click on something you’re prompted to purchase the premium version. I just deleted it.

still some work to do.... to make it a great app it seems, worthy of the annual premium subscription price. After I canceled my premium subscription per January 2022 (not a typo), the app prompts me to upgrade to premium. Sorry folks, how is that not a slap in the face to the customer? It’s not like I am getting a refund. I paid for premium for a whole year.

Relaxation & Calmness. The short, relaxing 5-minute relax, it gave me a wonderful experience with the calmness of the sound. I enjoyed how the time I spent listening to the music of the train made me feel I was at my very own, special place where there was everything I wanted... There was nothing to bother me.

Helpful App!. This is a great app for helping with memory, concentration, focus and speed. It’s worth it to get the premium version; there’s a great variety of games and it’s nice to have the option of starting a game over if you want to get a PERFECT score. However, it would be nice if there was a way to see what you did wrong so it can be corrected for the next time; hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, I really enjoy it!

I have a big brain. It trains my brain really well

Awesome App user friendly. It keeps you on your toes, plenty of variety to keep you challenged. Loving it so far.

Pot Head. Being a pot head my brain doesn't function to its full potential. Memorado has helped me concentrate in distracting situations and solve problems quicker.

A view shared by many 👇. A great app that achieves what it endeavours to achieve, it is quite effective in training the brain. But, the fact that there is a subscription option to uncover the apps true potential without a pay once play forever option shows that the developer(s) have listened to the wrong businessman's model. I downloaded this app a while ago and I'm pretty sure all games were accessible, but certain level caps couldn't be played through without subscribing. Now there's only 5 games, or thereabouts, that you can freely play and practice. Just a little disappointed with a potentially great app sorry.

This Game is one of the best!!!. This by far, one of the best memory/brain game. What ever you need to improve on, this game makes learning fun. The Mindfulness at the end of each session is my personal favourite - de stress and relax. Edie

Promoting a religion to kids?. This app is clever but very quickly two things happen. One, they constantly try to get you to spend money. Two, they try to force you to undertake meditation, saying that meditation is the only way to peace. I downloaded this app to improve my memory not to be sold Hindu and Buddhist philosophy.

Increases the IQ. I have been searching for a game like this to sharpen me for an exam to help me in VR and God has truly helped me find it. It’s really helpful and most of its free. It exercises my brain and is helping me to feel and be smarter and logical. 👍🏽

Boring. Unfortunately, this game is like similar brain training games and becomes boring and repetitive. The graphics and sound are average and sometimes annoying and I regret purchasing it.

What Tablets Should Be For!. I've always known my aptitude was more advanced than the average person, nothing special, just more capable and this app identifies this and areas I struggle with such as maths. It's fun and rewarding since I can actually feel my thoughts focus and improve as time goes and it's great exercise for the mind when I have a spare moment here and there. Worth it.

Poorly designed. You get instructions for the various games once, and unlike brain training like Lumosity, the instructions aren’t repeated before each game. Also the instructions are often unclear, or introduce anomalies that aren’t presented in the preliminary instructions. Don’t take this seriously as a brain training game.

Great idea but overpriced. Used the demo and couldn’t see how it could be Worth the high subscription fee of $80 or multiple ‘one off’ deals of $55.

A brilliant app, a must have. Totally love the new audio section and the games are the best. Extremely grateful to the Memorado team and their continual efforts to create such a brilliant, useful daily app.

What a waste of time. I really enjoyed this app so I bought the premium version. The premium version never worked so iTunes refunded my money. Such a waste for an app that I did like.

Not the best. It’s frustrating that it doesn’t adjust actual ability. Elevate is way better both in adjusting but also in actually developing skills. As well as developing skills that are actually practical.

Fun :). I enjoy these kinds of apps. I use four different ones. This one is unique among them for the mindfulness games they include, which, as someone with anxiety and depression, I find particularly pleasant.

The best app. This app is excellent. Your skills will be tested while you are having fun. It’s very interesting the meditation and mindfulness exercises.

Dodgy UX patterns to make you pay. This app uses a darknux pattern as soon as you open it to make you pay for a $57 monthly subscription. I used to like this brand, now I will never use again.

Not a toy - the real deal to improve yourself. I was in the market for a real brain trainer, something to help improve my brain so I could improve my uni work. This is by far one of the better brain trainers, like at the gym it allows you to request longer workouts if you have a lot of spare time, or quick workouts if you only have 5 minutes to spare. The workouts are personalised to help you with your chosen skills to improve your real world abilities. I was initially skeptical and wasn't terribly convinced on the fact that it's a subscription service, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

Basic app, might not be what you're looking for. Similar to the Brain Training games produced on the Nintendo consoles, it provides a good daily dose of mind puzzles to strengthen certain aspects of you mind. While it does a good job with the most part, it's lacking a lot of features. The monthly subscription that it offers is not worth the price tag. Another issue is the ads that it plays at certain times, they are video adverts and cannot be skipped or avoided. This can be an issue with your data allowance. While this app has potential, the basics of this app isn't worth your time. I recommend looking elsewhere if you want a solid brain training app.

Fun, colourful, easy to pick up.. I love the aesthetic, I love the games, and I love the inclusion of a relax mode. Memorado offers a large range of fun brain puzzles and activities designed to test you over time. The app has some performance issues which can cause problems on quick time games like Robot Factory, but once this is fixed there are no flaws to speak of.

First brain trainer. I downloaded this so that I could improve my concentration skills as lack of focus is something that I struggle with at work and at uni. So far the games have been really fun, and I especially love the Latin Logic puzzle (but I wish there were more levels to unlock! I've almost run out). I've spent a lot of time colouring a mandala at the end of everyday and find that this is a very soothing and calming process. I would definitely recommend downloading this however, play a few games first to see if you want the membership or not. I spent about an hour playing the free games and really wanted to see if the others were just as good. In my opinion, the games available from subscription are excellent and a very good reason to spend a yearly fee.

Lenny lavington. I don't want to re do all the work I've already done in my laptop, I want it to tell me what game it's up to on my phone after doing a game on my laptop, then it will be better.

Warning. Be careful, I agreed for a free trial only to be told afterwards by email unless I opted to cancel within 7 days I’d have over $70 subscription fee taken from my account!

This is the most underrated app!. This is such an amazing app, games, meditation and sleep exercises all in one! I have bought the premium version while it was 80% off, so I’m very lucky. I think it was definitely worth it. I’m seeing some other reviews talking about people getting their money mysteriously taken however that didn’t happen to me, I overall think this is an amazing app to buy premium for (although only when there’s a discount, $90 is way too much) The games are all very fun, there are over thirty so everyone can find many games which they love and can just play to kill time. (Although it does require premium to unlock all the games, I think it’s worth it) One of my favorite parts is its watch app which has a daily choice of meditation and sleep every day, as well as three short fun games. Overall this is an amazing app, premium or not! I definitely recommend it for everyone from toddlers to adults!

Decent Game, Bad Message. This game is ok in a game sense, with different puzzles and levels. The aspect where you “train your brain” and “take the test” are not so great, as it gives the message to our brain that our smartness is calculated. If people are getting lower that the “memorado average”, most people in a fixed mindset may feel as though they should be smarter but aren’t. Also, doing badly on one game can lower your test score considerably. This is nowhere near an accurate representation of your progress in “getting smarter” and how clever you are at the time. The message that this “Brain trainer” gives out is not ideal. Another thing is if you get half the parts right on a game it says “Failed” This is absolutely ridiculous. The person tried, they worked at it, they did their best. How is that failure? Instead of saying Failed in big letters, it should say “Keep working at it; You’ll get there”. So this game can be seriously demoralising to fixed mindset users, and it also promotes a fixed mindset message for lots of the parts. The developer needs to add a growth-mindset workshop into the app (And make it a FREE part of the app) and needs to seriously work on the messages it puts out to the brain. If you still want to get this game, play it for the GAMES, don’t focus on your test score etc.

Newbie review. Trying for the first time, daily (actually nightly) for the past week and so far so good. No noticeable difference in sharpness but I’ll come back and rate again after a month.

Not working. I like the program when it comes through my app. Needs more steps in between though ,more consolidation and to acknowledge where individual is at. App doesn’t work consistently very frustrating. I have tried for the last 2 hours to access my app!!!!! Nothing coming through. Please refund the years membership I have Just paid. I need consistency .

What a shame. I really like the games, I think this app is terrific however, I really dislike the contract setup. I don't believe people like being locked into contracts especially on their phone. If there was an unlock all forever option I would have bought that by now, but instead I won't give any money to this app as I dislike pay per month setup.

Bugged audio.. I am getting a weird constant static noise from the top speaker in my iPhone X, I thought it was the music but after turning both sound and music settings off it was still happening. Actual game is ok.

Excellent top quality. Luminosity has an amazing variety of games and activities that challenges the brains cognitive abilities and further enhances them by improving memory recall through association, repetition and numeric methods. This game is of truly excellent quality among other memory enhancement games however it would be better if there were a larger variety of games and activities available for free it would be much more engaging and exciting and I hope this review will help the app installers to improve upon these areas

From Memorando to Geits. Deleted the app because after the upgrade you can’t even use it. You have to buy the full version without an option of using lite. And I cannot justify spending $90 a year for this app.

Really fun. Thi sap has so many amazing puzzles and works on Apple Watch so to kill time I usually play this on my watch!

Automatic Renewal. Had game and played for a bit but has an automatic renewal, so after you forget about it for a while even if you don’t open it you’ll get hit by a $20 renewal fee and no easy way to contact and ask them to cancel it.

Be cautious downloading this app. Look, the graphics are pretty, but there are better brain training apps out there. After trying the app I deleted it from my device. A week later I was charged an annual subscription fee. The developers won’t help and neither will apple. I guess it has achieved its purpose. I now know not to download free trials. Well done memorado & apple! Great predatory sales tactics!

Constant messages from Geist asking for payment. I tried the FREE trial and deleted after an hour, now I get emails all the time saying my payment didn’t go through, update my payment details, etc. I wouldn’t have brought the lame game in the first place.

Auto renewal is a scam. Any game that auto renews you for $90 AU without giving you a notification is a scam. Massive thumbs down.

Great app but....... The app is great and really challenges you, but I was sad to find out after purchasing a lifetime membership that it is only for the app and not the website edition. I was also told by Memorado that their are different games on the online website version. It also took Memorado weeks to reply to my question.

Fun, but pricey premium. I enjoy the games but the price is a little steep.

Terrible customer service. I cancelled my free trial and deleted the app before trial ended and got charged 89.95 Anyways. even though their price at the time was a sale at 39.00. I got ripped off huge. To boot this happened dec 11 and it’s now end Jan and I’ve emailed them 17 times (no lie) and NOT ONE RESPONSE BACK. I’m furious I needed that money for my new born I’m a single mom. SomeonePLZ EMAIL ME BACK FOR GOD SAKES.

Misleading. Once you’ve opened the app you will be given around 2-3 minutes of quick and easy puzzles to do, then it will tell you you’re ready for a test and when you try to tap on the test it says you can’t do it without a subscription. The subscription fees are ridiculous. Not even worth downloading cause I’m sure you’ll uninstall it within 5 minutes.

Falling behind. No updates for 8+ months. I messaged them for help multiple times - no response or support. I would not subscribe here again.

Worst app. Do not bother getting this app! They offer you 7 day "free trial" but not without your credit card info. Before the end of 7 days you are charged the year $60 with no reminder or alert.

Dumb!!. Dumbest way of spending your time and money!! Basically, they grabbed a few games from other more popular apps and that’s all!! For a few more dollars more, go get the real one which includes everything this app has copied and much much more!

Interesting but isn’t compatible with Health app. Geist is a nice app overall but isn’t compatible with Health app. Maybe you would be better off with another app than Geist if tracking is important for you.

Scammers:charged me 50 CAD. Playing game and noticed a pop up that said confirm purchase. I pressed no. I then checked my debit card and I had been charged 50 CAD off of my RENT SAVINGS. Buyer beware.

Very Good Game, But Need Subscriptions To Unlock More Games.. I love this game, and it’s a too-go for some relaxation, but the subscriptions you need to unlock more games bothers me. I don’t have a Paypal, so I can’t unlock the pricey games. Please have more free games so that more can enjoy!

Not happy with sharp practice. I tried the 7 day trial but there was no way for me to cancel the trial before I was charged for a full year subscription. The fine print said I had to email the developers to cancel. The app is quite good but I wouldn’t recommend this because of the opt out system and the obstacles to cancelling.

Meh. It is a perfectly functional app and is worth a download to goof around with it. Unfortunately, the premium version is reprehensibly expensive for what is included with it (to be fair, it is also ludicrously expensive regardless of what is offered). Try the app, don’t spend any money.

Now they want more money. I still have a subscription and they just took away most features of the app and are asking me for even more money. They wouldn’t even honor previous agreements. Outrageous

Responded quickly to concerns. Originally I wasn’t happy with this company as I couldn’t sign in. They have informed me they are working on an update and they did so in good time so they are forgiven and 5 stars it is…thanks guys!!!

Ripoff of Lumosity. This is like Lumosity’s ugly cousin. Kludgy games, terrible insights, just bad.

Not Impressed. Somehow it turned off my interest by ‘forcing’ me to pay the annual fee after the trial. You guys don’t even mind to ask? I am so glad I canceled the trial and deleted the app. It was ok-ish but the not so free trial just disgusting.

Be careful with their 1week free trial. I installed the app and got a 1 week free trial. Without any reminder, at the end of the week I was automatically charged for the full 1 year subscription without being given the choice of going forward with a subscription or the type of subscription I wanted. Just got a email for the app store with a bill... The app is nice but not worth the 60$. Now I guess I don’t have a choice. I wrote to the company to get a refund, hopefully they’ll be helpful.

Why not free?. The game is great in terms of the activities they provide however, I do not appreciate the fact that I have to pay to use the whole app. For that reason I will no longer be using the app. I recommend it for one hour otherwise you will be in a continuous loop of playing the same games until you pay.

“Free trial”. We should be allowed to try the free trail without having to cancel a pricy subscription. That is a predatory system.

Cool App but pricey. This is a cool app, but pricey and I'm not a fan of monthly subscription fees. Too bad. Yearly fee is a bit high as well.

Great but Glitchy. I like the app, games are good, challenging (eventually). I wish there were a few more challenging games that are not so time sensitive. Major complaint is that the Mental Math Marathon game has a number of math errors. It’s not possible to submit a report on the app (redirected to iPhone email setup).

Pricey and lots of bugs. Upset not to get headspace instead. It’s pricey not worth since there’s too little content. It doesn’t play if you don’t keep the app on. Games are lame Lumosity knock off. You get bored of playing the same games and there are not enough levels.

lame. Constantly pressures you to upgrade or get the free trial which is likely a scam. Doesn't really offer any spectacular other than looking pretty.

Amazing!. The app is really well built and lots of fun! I check it out everyday for the games and try to make it a habit to listen to their listening content!

LOVED!!! Until my free trial ended. I love this app when I had my free trial. It was fun, challenging games and probably my favourite brain app, then the trial ended.....It’s WAY TO EXPENSIVE and free play after your week of the free trial is a couple boring games. It become repetitive and not fun anymore. Deleted.....

Don’t Buy This. I didn’t cancel my free trial period on time because I ended up in the hospital after an accident. I was just charged over $90 CDN through PayPal and there is no way I can find to contact the company to ask for a refund. That’s NOT how to do business.

Immediately prompts for $80 subscription. As soon as you open this app, it asks you a few questions, then prompts you for an $80 recurring subscription. Not cool.

Want to make sure I already cancel the subscription. I just downloaded and tried the game, this is a good app but it’s not worth $80 a year. They offered 7days free trial, but I just want to cancel the subscription, not 100% if I cancelled or not... I did not find any cancel button even in their website.... I just deleted the app. Hope they won’t charge me more money.

Misrepresenting as free app. This may be a good app, but it presents itself as a free app with “in app purchases “. The “free app” is just a sales tool. You get about 5 minutes of content. Then all other content cost $60/year.

MUCH 100 x better than Lumosity.. Exceeds Lumosity, honest company. Does what they say with you money, appropriaurtimeyoupurchase. Discounts but better puzzles. Really races the kind. Keeps you sharp and focused. NOT the sane 3-4-5 ring around the roses Lumosity has. You REALLY have to think and act...usually FART and faster, but makes adjustments so you’re not wasting your time and money. Challenges you, but not frustrating. It’s a FUN CHALLENGE. I’ve paid for (Lumosity twice, ripped off both times) I’d PAY, P A Y, PAY for this 3x before I’d take a membership for life (which they SAY they don’t have) from Lumosity). Fixed income, SHORT on money, but I just renewed the second time for another year. Wrong about 100x better....1000x better than Lumosity.....even if Lying Lumosity Gave you a year.
