It’s so disappointing. Downloaded the app after reading about the wonder within…. Not sure how much better the purchased material could be. Glad it did cost me anything but high hopes and waste of time.

Please put pro version on sale!. I would love to get the pro version but it’s too expensive for me. Please put it on sale for $10 or so. Thank you for an amazing app!

Great audio quality. We are trying new gear, gadgets, interfaces, and so forth, for a new podcast show, and we were very impressed with the audio quality of this app.

Love the mic options but.... I just wish I could import my music and have multiple tracks and still use the vocal sounds of these mics. That would totally be a dream come true for me. Cool layout and sound options for an app though.

Impressed with customer service. I was just reading the most recent reviews and I'm so impressed with the responses by the developer. Some app developers leave you in the lurch (sp) in trying to learn their apps and when you have problems. I decided to download this app based on the customer service and the help they will give in learning the app. Kudos to development team!! I only have 4 stars because I haven't used the app yet. Hopefully it'll go up to 5 stars.

One great app. Being able make my iPhone sound like any of many mics is really special. Since the iPhone microphone actually sounds pretty good and has nice sound rejection, this is a great thing for those not wanting to buy studio mics.

Good app. I did not know what to expect with this, but I must say I’m impressed.

Environment Pack!. Sooooo I thought by buying the Environment sound pack that it wound mute out the background noise such as static but NOT! Basically your just buying the look of the background nothing else which is useless. Highly upset DELETE!

Excellent app!. Haven't found a better recorder. It's the best! I've upgraded to pro but recommend this version to musician friends regularly! Update if you want more but this is great for singing in headphones, sounds really great!

Amazingly life like!. The upgrade Pro version is really the way to go. The ability to record without clipping and retrieving later and being able to insert any mic after the fact is a versatility never seen before.

Onhintie. I love the apps so much. With this app Plus di pro i have my studio on go. I don’t have to home to make music, I can make music anywhere. Its reliable and affordable.

Umm.... Ok so I think the mics worked GREAT but.. let’s change great to ok. Whenever I tried to turn on the mic, it was so screechy!! I couldn’t talk!!!! And I think that’s the point of microphones. And it makes the sound so slow!! Oh and one more thing, I think they would of worked great if it wasn’t screechy. And ONE more thing🥴, the different mics made no difference at all and I couldn’t listen to my recordings and when I could they were WAY shorter than what I recorded.

Ok. This app is great but when I take my earbuds out it makes a eeeeeeeeek sound and it hurts my ears, another thing is I saw this one Microphone and I was gonna use it but it cost money, I just think we people who don’t want to spend money on apps and would rather spend it on stuff like home decor and collage investments and grocery’s should have more open options, other than that this app is great, RECOMMEND

Not exporting mic sound now. Mic swap used to work awesome! Now it’s no longer exporting mic sound. I have duplicated the file, exported to different sources, exported back as wave file to be save in ICLOUD, RESTARTED PHONE 3 TIMES but the effect is no longer staying. Could also be the last UPDATE IS SO BUGGY BY IPHONE. I SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR FULL NOT BETA smh 🤦🏼

Not working in GarageBand. Purchased a year subscription, got receipt from apple but in GB keeps telling me that I need to upgrade to pro. I deleted app, reinstalled, restored purchase and still nothing. iOS and GB are also all up to date. So I emailed the developers a week ago and still no response. Don’t waste your money

Like it ... But.... So this mic app is so cool ! I actually really love it. I'm using it to film, and I wanted to test out the free version before deciding to go pro, However... while some of my audio came out amazing there were several that had overlapping sounds. For instance it would overlap two different sounds at one time. Because of this I couldn't use all the audio and had to re-film a lot of shots 😑... did anyone else have this issue? Because of this I don't know if I will spend $20 for the pro version. I'm really hoping it was just a one time glitch 🙁🤔

Mic swap. It’s great. If you’re into microphones, this is a useful app. It can record all kinds of acoustic situations, beautifully.

Having trouble figuring something out need help. Does this app allow you to sing or rap over your beat once its brought over to the mic ? It’s like each time I play the song and go to a mic the song still plays in the background but once I hit record so I can start singing over the beat the beat just shuts off and you can only hear just my voice not the beat anymore I’m wondering if this app allow you to record songs while the beat is playing ? I need help or is just ap only for talking ?

Limited recording. It won’t let me record more than three or four recordings before it from prompt me to upgrade the mic

Full files does not upload. Overall, I’ve enjoyed this product. However, files frequently glitch and/ or the files cuts off.

Not loud enough. There were no adds but it is not even a mic it just sounds like nothing and I tried to get it to be loud but it did not work it was like recording your self speak plane so do not down load this app

Just the best. Saved me thousand of dollars on unnecessary equipment that will be in my studio collecting dust. With this I can bake a sample and run with it. Later on I can buy the item for the show. Good

Smh. I really love this app and it’s abilities. But I’m just very very upset with the fact that I’ve recorded 45 songs, after purchasing storage to exceed the original “demo” amount. So the app froze, I refreshed it, I restarted my phone, THEN I uninstalled the app and installed it back and now all of the songs I’ve recorded are gone. So with that I can’t love this app anymore and that’s why I’m giving it a 1star. If you guys can restore my storage (more relevant) or refund me my money then I’ll feel comfortable with you guys 5 stars ⭐️

Mic Swap’s Horrible customer service support. I paid for the full version of mic swap sometime ago. I had all of the microphones! Since they went the subscription route, all of my microphones are gone with exception of 2 or 3! I paid for the full version. I can understand new subscribers having to go along with the new subscription process, but those of us that spent our money on this product pre-subscription should be grandfathered in! Why should we have to pay twice???! Oh yeah, you guys have horrible customer service. I notified you 3 times already, and to no avail, no response. Is this how you treat your customers???

MicSwap pro problem. Hello I recently purchased the pro version for a year, however, when using it as a GarageBand plugin for iOS, the microphones that are unlocked on the app are still locked in the plugin. How do I fix this? I tried to email this question within the app but it wouldn’t send for some reason. I’ve already reinstalled the app and it’s still the same issue.

Works sometimes. I’m not a big fan of paying for an app that works sometimes and I don’t want to hear any bull about system updates because this is so simple it’s stupid-Technology not at its finest

I just don’t get it?!?. I thought this app would be good for vocal recordings! Anybody knows that if u want to do anything in music u must have the capacity to overlap vocals instruments etc. this app doesn’t allow for that! U record single take vocals or instruments and there’s no option for overlapping said instruments with vocals etc. Watched tutorial… starts off looking nothing like the app! It’s not user friendly, there’s no functionality hints? Super disappointed in the functionality!

Allow to import audio while recording. I usually don’t write reviews so Im going to make it short and to the point . Honestly I love this app but I think it would be phenomenal if you gave the option to import audio AND record with the microphone over the audio imported .

Works very well!. If you're a musician, this is a necessary app. As a guitarist coming up with riffs and not having to break out the DAW is key. Quick, easy and basically idiot proof. I upgraded to unlimited recordings, but it's necessary.

Almost destroyed my hearing. Be careful. I put in my earbuds try to use this app and I got blasted so loud I was concerned that I may have lost some hearing. Deleted it. Very annoying crap app. I wish I could've given it zero stars. Now I get this impolite response from the developer. Yes it was your app, you arrogant fool. An apology would be in order because it was the Micswap app, but I don't expect any courtesy after all I did leave a negative review.

Export Issue. I was trying to export the wav file to my computer, but it always zip it (from 60M to 5M) and the sound quality was lost during the process. I have tried to save to iCloud and send through chat, both worked the same way. Is this because this is the free version, or is it the same way with pro version?

Get it off. I got it and it was pretty cool but not what I was looking for and now every time I record anything on my phone WITH IT BEING DELETED it has the same sound and messed up my recording. Yall need to fix this because it is off my phone but stuff having effects when I record on like Snapchat i checked this morning and it went away so idk what happened

Unimpressed. This app looks very high tech with its selection of various microphones and fancy user interface. However, of the several mics I sampled, I heard no distinguishing variance. Moreover, each recording produced an annoying and distorting crackling background sound. Also, I’m using an iPhone X with the latest iOS release and the app crashed several times. The developers should give this app away for free, so they can gather sufficient data on user feedback to make improvements.

Is there a way to keep the mic sound without the headphones!. I tried to send my recording to a family member who wasn’t using headphones to listen and the sound quality was lost. Any ideas?

Wow. Get it. Great work.. If you record song ideas or anything on your iPhone like I do then you should get this app. Really clean interface. Simple to use and integrates with other apps. Brilliant. I haven't upgraded yet but I will be soon enough. Love this app.

Omgggggggg. I was trying to find soooo much apps for mics and this was best one.It lets you try the new mics without paying straight away.it even saves the recordings you did and sounds soooo much like a real microphone.It is like you actually have a mic in your hand.

Not happy. I paid $12.99AUS for a 6 month subscription and I can’t use it to record with Garage Band or Audiobus 3. So…why did I pay again? If you have to buy pro to record then please don’t offer a subscription that to a broke musician that is unworkable. I’m a bit upset because I actually think the app’s mic emulation is really quite good. Oh well. Back to search.

App secretly sends audio files to them!. It uses “cellular data” and needlessly sends Audi to there servers!! Go into app settings / cellular / uncheck cellular data! (Will still send over wifi!)

Rating. I love it so freaked much but it can be better I really want to use the other mic’s but I have to pay witch I think is not worth it because I can go to Best Buy and buy a mic 🎙 but anyways these are actually really good mic’s so y’all should download this app ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you guys again such nice people. Older review (I already bought two mics and a recording environment once I downloaded the app and it was working very well although I couldn’t use what I bought while using GarageBand but I used to import my songs to the app and then choose the environment and mic after. The issue is with the latest update that came out a couple of days ago, it keeps telling me that I have to buy again what I already use to have and when I close the app and reopen it, it works normally but only for playing one of my song list, once I move to another song or try to change the mic or the environment it keeps telling me to purchase again!! Please support or fix the issues. Thank you.)

Eh, pretty much a let down. Only 3 out of 17 microphones without paying. All three mics you get, which they’re right don’t actually echo, are just tinny and weak compared to other apps, like Pro Microphone which even gives you backing tracks to add. They also give you tips and tricks while using the app, streamlining the process for the user. I didn’t find this app usable for a vast amount of projects. Just not as good as other ones out there unfortunately.
