Mondly the best language learning.. The program is very good with repetition if you wish to play the lessons over and over again. i think it would help greatly with listening comprehension as well as speaking if you listen and repeat the words and sentences many times. i have other language learning apps but i spend my times mostly with Mondly.

I really like it. It is a great app and I really like it. But I think I want to change is I do not like that you have to buy premium.

Kind of love it. It’s so helpful. My boyfriend lives in and is from Rome. I’m going to visit soon and meet friends and family. And know no Italian. This app is compartmentalized by subject and offers the words most important for a foreign traveler to know.

Fun program. So far I’ve only had it a week. I’ve been learning Italian with another app. This one has way more variety. Show you multiple ways to say things and goes back frequently to re enforce what you’ve learned. Having fun again

Updated Review.. My first review mentioned some buggy features. Those have been fixed. This is a fun mix of multiple choice, fill-in and speak recognition. If you have a little competitive spirit you will be bolstered by the points leaderboard. I’m heading to Italy later this year and like the sections geared towards travel, which I expect to use while there.

Hard To Cancel If You’re Not Happy. I hate the fact that cancelling this service is so cumbersome..I was on the fence about continuing but after realizing how hellish it is to cancel, I decided to cancel for real and will never use this app again..there are other apps where you can learn a foreign language for less..

Great app!. I enjoy the sequence of the lessons. It’s very easy to follow along, and the content makes sense, i.e. giving your basic info, talking about your family, explaining what languages you speak, etc. I also appreciate the chat bot option because it gives you the chance to practice speaking in context.

The best app. This is the best because my whole family is Italian and I am the only one who can’t speak it so this is a way that I can learn Italian and it’s so easy o learn with this app

Unsubscribing shouldn’t be so difficult. I have tried to unsubscribe since before my trial ended, but it’s been a headache to sort out. I contacted multiple times without reply and continued to be charged every month once my trial ended. The page to edit my subscription via iTunes does not even show a cancellation option. I've had to sort it through with Apple's support team. Other users have posted reviews with similar frustrations. You need to hold your billing and ease of cancellation to a higher standard. I should not have to take time out of my night to sort out your lapses, and neither should any future users that decide your product is not the right one after all.

Top notch. Very easy to work through with excellent learning tools.

Frustrating Translations. This app needs to be better about accepting translations/answers that are functionally correct but differ from the rigid (and sometimes inaccurate) translations it is expecting. Prompt: write the following in English "Faccia un giro della città." My translation (marked incorrect): "Take a tour of the city" App "correct" answer: "Go on a city tour." In this real-life case, my answer is actually correct. More so than the app's expected answer. Far too often, my answer is linguistically correct, but it marks me as incorrect. Sometimes,the app expects an exact word-for-word translation, other times it uses a colloquial translation. There is not one lesson that has not required me to "FLAG" the response. But who, if anyone, is reading that feedback? I'm getting really upset with this app.

Needs work. Update: App is auto-renewed without any obvious way to cancel service. Finished all content in one month. Very basic. Several problems with the grammar. The app cannot differentiate English synonyms so even if you translate correctly, unless you use the exact words it counts it wrong. Several of the Italian words and phrases are either wrong or not in common use. The chat bot is nice but way too limited in content.

Staying with this one. This is very well organized. Having the ability for slow & fast pronunciation, see structures of sentences, and conjugation of verbs in three tenses are all features that, as a speaker of Spanish & French are so helpful as I convert to Italian.

Love it. Clear and concise lessons, I like and look forward the next lesson. The person’s accent is so beautiful and I hope I can pronounce like her very soon.

Fun quirky app that works quite efficiently. Can’t say more than enough compliments, better than all the majority of language learning apps I’ve tried thus far: Duolingo, Babbel, Pinsleur, Rosetta Stone, et al.

Easy to navigate but missing speech practice. It is a great app so far. I wanted to learn Italian differently than another app teaching you, and it is better but I’m disappointed not having speech practice. Pronunciation is important and this app doesn’t seem to care about that. At least the free version or trial version doesn’t have it. I hope it will be added in the future

Semi better than Duolingo. I do like that I’m not kicked off lessons for making mistakes and you can click on a word and get far more information than Duolingo. The lessons are quicker, less consuming, and more friendly. Free language learning always has its qualms but I do notice quite a few discrepancies as far as pronunciation. Some of the words are missing the “e” sound at the end during the lessons but give the full sounds at the very end. That’s weird. And perhaps it’s just a fluke but in some of the lessons half of the word is cut off in audio.

Great app. Amazing work very easy to navigate and understand. I’m attempting to learn Italian and of all the apps I’ve tried, I’ve had much more success with mondly. The only complaint I have would be when you click the speaker to repeat the word or sentence it will say it slowly and normal speed Which is great. I wish I could control if it says it slowly or normal rather that it going back and forth every time I hit it. For instance if I’m trying to slowly pronounce a word or sentence it sometimes gets confusing if you’re trying to go slow and it blurts the word out before you have a chance to say it with the recording. After all Italian is a rather fast language and sometimes it says the word so fast you can’t keep up. After all that’s a very small complaint and not a huge deal just some positive feed back from a user is all. Keep up the great work

Good but not great. Although in proud of what im learning and remembering, it would work better i think if when it spoke the words in Italian they could do some of them a bit slower so we knew what and how to repeat it. But i still love it!

For instance, if it tells you ‘ noi viaggiamo ‘ means _we travel_, you can’t offer _we are traveling_ as an option, even though it’s correct. I am retaining the vocabulary. 4/5

Impressive tool for learning!. Learning is fun with this app! The crisp photos help bring a visual to the new vocabulary words that are part of the lesson. Person and tense are part of each daily lesson, making it easier to learn conjugation. A male voice and a female voice will read phrases and upon repeat will slow down enabling you to hear / understand better! You learn English to Italian & then Italian to English to enhance learning. I've been so pleased, that I purchased family plan to share, now my husband is learning too!

Great for learning Italian. I like how it repeats the sentence slower and then even slower. Google translate speaks too quickly so it is hard for an untrained ear to pick up all of the little little words in Italian. But this app has done a fantastic job for that area!

Love it!. I love this app, it makes learning Italian easy and fun with immediate feedback. The speech recognition is a great feature, and I like hearing the phrases in the male and female voices for comparison. I feel like I've made some progress in learning the language in just 24 hours.
