Be considerate.. It's a good app and it makes your videos much more elegant. However, it's irritating that we have to have a facebook or a different type of social media account to be able to use it. What about those that doesn't have a facebook? Correct me if I'm wrong on this but if I am, I've been searching for ways to upload my video into this app and still can't unless I have a fb.

Good app but still room to improve. Problem1: during import and processing step for some videos, the app is stuck and dead. I have to kill the app. This is repeatable for the same videos. Cutting video to different length may work. Problem2: unable to import videos from PC. Only mobile phone can import.

Wish to edit text as well!!. I agree with the previous review, some themes are not suitable for all videos (snowing, snow melting etc) and the dates are not able to be changed as well :( other than that, i love it! Very addictive! Much better video sharing than Instagram.. :)

So bad 🙁😡. Recently after the last update I can’t change my profile picture or my id or even open any video like I used to do plz fix this problem 🙁 and suddenly today I can’t see live streams anymore what’s wrong with this app these days?!?! Do something about it!!!!!! Still the same problem and no one listens anymore 😡😡

Facebook login. So I haven’t been on in a bit but now I can’t log onto my account since it won’t let me log in with my Facebook which is how my account originally started!! I can’t get any of my videos or content off it thanks to this!! Please fix this because it’s pretty upsetting an app I enjoy using I can’t use now. I had a 4 star review because I did really like this app about a year ago now it’s just frustrating that o can’t even log into it :l

They ban account easily with no explanation.. Their behavior is just like CCP, stop using Chinese company software and anything else.

Update. There was a recent update... it’s a pink Chinese page. I cannot understand or upload anything. Please help.

nice app!. Makes making video an easy and enjoyable experience! I like the function which allows me to share my work with an easy click! Could be better if the order of clips can be edited too.

Meipai review. So when ever I take pictures on Meipai I cannot actually take a picture I have to make a video screenshot then crop the “ photo” but, Meipai helped me make cute collages and has very cute filters.

One thing I would like to suggest is maybe we can put our own music in there but if not, it's okay! I love the music provided from the app and the filters as well! LOVELOVELOVE

Stupid Sound Play under Mute Mode. After the newest update, the opening screen plays a video with sound even when the phone is muted, and there is no button to close the video but to wait for it to play. So stupid, uninstalled.

Potential to be better than Instagram. With all the many options included in this app, it is a lot if fun. More english speaking people need to get this so I can communicate with someone or I will just need to take foreign language lessons! Very fun!!

Why require account info. Why do we have to give them our Facebook login to use this app? Other apps links you to log into Facebook when you want to share in Facebook. I'm surprise not more people think this is strange. Imagine if there is an app that requires you to give them your bank's login info in order to use the app.

Very good app. Just recently downloaded this app for the firs time and its easy to use. I didnt have any problem. I'll recommend this app and give it a try. :) No ads also. 10/10

Fun. I downloaded it for my 3 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. The filters are awesome.

Fun app but quality is pretty low. I love Meipai, new features are great. However, the quality of the vids is pretty low and you cannot adjust the contrast, saturation, shadows...only able to apply filters. Besides that everything is great. I love the free music background which make me choose this app first. Please update some new features soon.

What!. There's no Kugo search music for music??? Please fix that.

I can't livestream :(. I really like meipai but I was really looking forward to live streaming and it won't allow me. Each time I try to apply, I get a message saying that I don't meet the requirements. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a foreigner in America or not, but it's very disappointing and I don't know any other way around it. It would help if the developers could help on this and make it easier to live stream for those not native to China...

Disappointed. They no longer have the short MV video sounds n music, I only use this app for that. I hope u bring it back! Thank you.

10seconds MV is gone 🥺. I love the app and the new features are really nice but you no longer are able to make 10 seconds MV with the cool effects and music. I miss being able to make those and I loved that functionality the most! please bring it back!

Horrible update. Fix the app how it used to be. You can’t download music anymore and the main features that made this app awesome are gone. We don’t need another Snapchat or instagram this app was perfect the way it was.

Good app. I really love this app! I used to use it to edit video and then have a cute music I. The background that goes well with my video. After the update, they don’t have the type of music I want anymore! All of them are music with words. I would really love it if you guys add back the music sound back! Thanks 🙏

Amazing. I love Meipai, it makes taking and editing videos much more easy and fun. Automatically makes highly entertaining clips with a variety of music and special effects, Wish the videos could be longer. I have recommended Meipai to many friends, and they all use it. Thanks~~

Amazing app.. I usually do not write reviews, but this app deserves one! I do wish I could give this more than five stars. It is a beautifully designed app and it is also user-friendly. I do wish that you could merge two or more saved videos in one. Thank you to the developers for this amazing app.

Favourite for short videos!. Lovely transitions and easy to use. Would love to add multiple video clips for long videos, be able to crop in the middle of clips, and add text to video clips. I have no issues with it otherwise. It gives me no problems! Works seamlessly. Very easy. Creates beautiful video.

Wish I could edit text. This app is great! Super fun and easy to use. Only complaint is that I cannot change the text on videos, meaning I will have text that does not suit the video or a date that is incorrect. Would love an update that allows us to edit the text and the date!

Downgraded 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. Bring back previous version. Can no longer find music in the search library. Disappointed! EDIT: March 2021 They took away the option of logging in with your Facebook account. Why? Now I’m locked out of my own account as there is no other option or tech support for help. 😡👎🏻

Excellent 👌. I don't use this very often, but when I do choose to video tape something, this always somehow creates that perfect mini movie. Not too crazy about how you have to make an account, but the variety of themes and songs makes up for it.

😤 I don’t understand. After I updated it I couldn’t watch any videos nor change anything! Very frustrating! Please fix it cause I really like this app.

Please add selfie too. I love meipai app I’ve been using quite a while now and it’s pretty impressive because I can take selfie and also take a video too but I ever since the update meipai have deleted the selfie mode now it’s just a video making I wish they bring back the selfie mode as well so we all can take a single picture as well

System/Feature Cancellations. The one thing I used this app for is now gone!!! What happened to the MV video themes and music? I don’t need another instagram/snapchat app!!

Make app better. You should be able to take off the captioning in videos just like you take off music if you don't want it in it.

Easy peasy!. Take a video and choose between editing filters to make your video come to life! Its cute and take multiple videos to compile them together into something fun without the actual work! KEEP THE UPDATES COMING. Also please have an option to upload from our cameraroll!

Love it but.... I really like the app it work good. I do some problem with this app it don't translate things to English wish it had a translation on here so people don't speak or read Chinese And vice versa we can could understand each other. That would be wonderful if they did that. Other wise I would put 5 stars. I wish edit works so I wouldn't have delete things and just write in text box or correct my grammar mistakes.

Bring back the 10sec mv. Making those short mv with effects are the best Hope you can bring this features back

Videos not loading since the upgrade. Videos are either not loading or loading extremely slowly since the upgrade. Everything else loads normally (covers etc)

Too Short Video maker!. Nowadays,Compare with other Video maker&Sharing Apps, Meipai App obviously is not as good as others! One deadly & annoying problem is too short time video. Other functions such as: Words edit, Music choose,each photo Duration edit,Slide Effect... Not such great!

Meipai app. I really love this app. The only thing is I wish there was an option to change the words on some of the themes. (Sorry if you actually can and I just haven't figured it out yet).

Cool but confusing. I am on iPhone and can't figure out how to change language settings or how to set my account to private. It has cool effects but I don't want to post them to meipai, I'd prefer to just save for other media.

Rife With Unnecessary Censorship. Meipai would be great if it wasn't rife with censorship. I had to give it 1 star because dozens of my videos have been removed by editors. My videos are apolitical. They are not pornographic. They feature female models who are wearing tank tops and boy shorts. There's a bit of cleavage in them and that's what Meipai must be so concerned about. It's pathetic. I've seen other accounts showing models with much more revealing cleavage and for some reason they don't get censored. Perhaps because they are represented by China's biggest agencies and there's nepotism at work. I'd focus a lot of energy on Meipai if they didn't needlessly censor my work. Hence, I've migrated to WeiShi, who are much more welcoming.

Amazing. Amazing apps that I ever had. But just some people like to say bad words, hope will be just nice people in here.

Connection Problem??. Can't download any of the new cute stickers! Since I updated the app, it keeps saying "connection problem, please try again" whenever I want to load the new stickers. There is no problem with my connection, it is super fast on everything else.

Miepai. I love this app i saw this on my cousin's phone and i loved it but i am trying to download and it is not getting downloaded

Need more English. It is great when you get the hang of it. But somethings are in Japanese. Also, it needs to do a better job of saving videos to your phone as well as sharing videos with your linked social accounts

Really cool app, but where's the draft box. The templates work beautifully to make any footage look pro. But I started saving projects in the Draft box but then there's no way to access the draft box. 😱

Makes cute short videos.. This is a cute app. Easy to use and the filters are pretty.

One problem.... I gave it 2 stars because one 60 secs is a great time to make your video, and 2 is because the remix is super duper funny!!! 😂😂😂 But there's one problem, when I tried to sign up for it, I put in my phone number and it said 3 variation codes for one phone number, that made me so confused!!

Extension. Would be much better if time allows to be longer like 33seconds.

Consideration. I downloaded this in hopes to experience the greatness this app has to offer. But I don't have a fb, it would be nice if I can use the app without having to connect to a social media. It seems like everything is circulating around fb but what about the population who don't have one or prefer not to connect through it?

Fun app. This app is great and super fun to make MVs. Love all the filters and music. The only thing is it doesn't let you upload directly to Instagram. You have to save the video then open it in Instagram.

Could be great... But. The app is pretty cool out the box. But not have full control about the on screen text is just lazy on the developer's part. I may want to use a mv but not talk about super models or have it say Monday on it. Also, it should allow for use of music from your own library as well.

Works on iPhone 4s but not iPhone 3GS. The recording part does not work on my iPhone 3GS but does on my iPhone 4S so overall it is a good app but if they could fix the problem for iPhone 3GS users that would be nice

More options. Let us edit the templates words and make more advance options for editing videos :)

Really fun app!. I like this app a lot because it's very fun and the animations are very good. Just need stuff to be more organized (in categories) or easier to find so that it's more fun to use.
