Can’t use it with wireless headphones. I LOVE bias products. But I have an iPhone X and the phone does not have a headset jack. My only option is to use wireless Bluetooth headphones with my iPhone. However, I cannot hear Bias thru the wireless headphones. I have the Bias output set to headphones and I have InterApp audio set to on, and it still doesn’t work. I still haven’t seen a direct response from Bias on this issue. I love Bias products, but its a problem if you cannot use Bias on a modern phone.

Nice. Great app. Have issue when opening it goes to store. When try to push back. App locks up. I have purchased. I have to delete app then reinstall. Had to do this 3 times.

App is fun but...... The so is great I love the amps and I love the platform, but my biggest issue with it is that I don’t have backing tracks and I can’t listen to my music to play along with it that’s an issue that needs to be fixed.

No sound out of iRig Micro Amp. Hi, any idea how to get sound out of an iRig Micro Amp. Bias FX works when I turn off the “stereo mode”, but there is no setting in Bias Amp 2 like that. I have them both on my iPad. Please help, it’s looking like Bias Amp was a bad investment. There has to be more settings options than that.... Would love to see an update where that is fixed.

As others have stated, you have to pay twice.. I bought EVERYTHING on my iPad, as that’s what I primarily use for music. Well now my iPad is broken, and I have no way to replace it. Figured I’d could use my iPhone in the interim but NOPE. They expect you to buy everything all over again. I will be purchasing from another company from here on out. You will not get another dime from me Positive Grid.

Phenomenal. I am thoroughly enjoying the app as well as my bias mini guitar amp the sky is the limit with what you can do with this thing and the tones are incredible. Also, the support from Mike and Felix are outstanding top notch professional gentleman

No voice over support. Hello. This seems like a very decent app. However I am a visually impaired person. Would you consider in a future making it voiceover accessible? Thank you. Dmitry

Terrible.. Get Tonebridge. This amp simulator makes so much extra noise even with noise gate at 100 percent. I have a strat loaded with humbuckers, and yet the amps make my guitar sound like a motorcycle when it doesn’t want to start. Save your five bucks and buy a really nice coffee.

Top 3 Guitar App. Right now Jamup/Bias, Ampkit, and Tone Stack are the best amp simulators for iOS in my opinion. Each are outstanding in their own right and each bring something special to the table. Their are a few other apps around that sound darn good as well (Amplitube Hendrix, Flying Haggis, etc.) But it is hard to go wrong with the top three I have listed above. Bias on its own sounds terrific. The metal amps are killer in particular to my ears. Combined with Jam-up, Bias becomes almost an unstoppable monster. Why? Not every guitar will sound good with certain amps. With Bias you can dive in deep and tweak or create an amp or several amps that will sound good with the guitar you are using. When you are done tweaking you can load your custom amps into Jam-up to take advantage of all the additional features Jam-up offers. In summary, different people will like the sound of a particular product over another time an again. However, with Bias you can change the sound of the product in ways far beyond any guitar amp simulator I have found on iOS. It really does feel like having a custom amp workshop in your pocket. In this regard, it is hard to imagine that if someone spends some time with Bias, they will be unable to dial in a quality amp sound. It is that good!

Purchases don’t transfer from iPad to iPhone.. App sounds great. Purchase add ons on my iPad to come to find out that I have to purchase them all over again on my iPhone. This is absurd.

The best guitar app thus far. First off I will say I am NOT a fan of Jamup. Jamup was a great idea poorly executed. This app, Bias, is on the complete flip side. Yes, there are some digital artifacts, but minimal of all the apps I've seen so far. Also, if you disable your cellular data for all apps and disable wifi you will have less RF interference while playing. I play progressive metal and Djent. It took me about 5-10 minutes to dial up a tone I really liked vs Jamup which I have not found a solid amp. You can export your amp models to Jamup and they do sound much better than what in app purchases provide. The reason I rated 4 stars- tone qualify changes slightly and more background noise is present when you export to Jamup. I have emailed Positive Grid's support and they areole than willing to work with you on suggestions and troubleshooting. But the Bias app itself is everything I could have asked for in a portable practice setup. I am using it on my IPhone 5C with no issues. Great job on this one Positive Grid!

Amazing, BUT.... Let me just start off by saying I absolutely love this app, BUT, when I use my iRig 2 to use BIAS, I connect my aux to my amp that has an aux in, I plug it in and other apps like JamUp sound perfect in there but when I use BIAS it’s WAAY too quiet. Please look into this, I don’t use this app much anymore because of it, but i do really like this app!

I have to repurchase everything????. Hello! I love this app and everything it dose. I have purchased all the packs for it in my iPad. Now I have to repurchase everything for my iPhone? Makes no sense. Even the biasFX lets me restore my purchases. Dose not seam right.

Got it for free. Saying purchase was not made even though the app was free

Eh. Great clean tones, decent crunch tones, terrible high gain tones. Especially through headphones

Can’t Restore From iPad Purchase!!!. I purchased Bias Amp 2 on my iPad Pro a few months ago. I just got an iPhone and tried to install it on there but it won’t restore my purchase. It says Bias Amp 1 License not purchased! I purchased BIAS AMP TWO on my iPad!!!!! I even purchased a few additional packs in the Bias store.

I did not have to buy any of my amp packs again.... ... and the $20 to unlock 2.0 is absolutely worth it .... these guys have done an incredible job making this program.. Everything Positive Grid has done is phenomenal ... as a player I’ve been using JamUp since the very first release, and own everything else they make for iOS.... both iPad and iPhone I still have not paid more for all of that, than for any single amp head I used to lug around.... now I have ALL OF THEM! literally in my back pocket any time of the day.. If you play even as a hobby.... you MUST use some of Positive Grid’s offerings ... worth every dime and then some I guarantee it! I even use it live and the reaction people find out what the time is coming from is priceless every time to this day

Robotic Crackling on iOS 16.2. Must be an issue with an update but making review one star until resolved.

Paying Twice??. I bought everything on my iPad and no purchases reflect in the iPhone, thats bad buisness, paying twice for the same product is not cook

Bias doesn’t cut it. I had high hopes for this iPhone amp. I heard many good things about how it sounds like a real set of amps. I bought in to bias whole set of effects amps and stomp boxes. It’s weak and I can’t get anything to sound other than a harsh compressed sound. Back to the drawing board.

Amp match does not work. There is a constant rattle in the background when an amp match is on. Any for that matter and I for the life of me can not figure out what is causing it.

It needs some improvements in the iphone version. I haven't any complain about the sound quality, but I think you should include a impulse response loader module. In fact there is one in Bias FX 2 which I own, but it would be so much easier to have this module in Bias Amp 2.

Pretty awesome app. I can't believe this thing sounds this good coming from my phone I never thought I would ever like anything like this. I know most guitarist put this app down but you know how guitarist are stuck on 1950's technology. Some of the few complains were that it feels like ever amp was design for modern metal or classic tube clean amps and nothing else. And the high gain was focus on low end I rather just use my my boss me 70 for lead solo. I wish they would have gave you crazy effects too instead of just basic effects. Another cool thing too is this thing actually sounds like an axe fx 2 on some of the tones. Who knows maybe people will be usein apps and tablets in bout 10 years for guitar tone and one more thing this thing sounds better than some of the actually gear I have which is pretty insane.

Crashed!!!!. When I first starting messing with app, everything sounded great. But every time I try to load up a cab from the Celestion modern pack I bought, it just stays in the selection window and won’t let me go back to tweaking anything else. And now, messing with some of my custom amps, the app has crashed and won’t open up no matter what I do. PG, please fix this issue. $35 in, and this is what I get?

Unusable and no solution from support. Installed on a brand new 8 Plus and get a horrible motorboat sound on all amp match presets. Take the amp match module out of the signal chain and the sound goes away. Been dealing with Positive Grid support for a couple of months and they can recreate the problem but cannot fix it. The app is useless to me and I really wish I could get a refund. Should have done that right away instead of working with PG support.

Inter app audio. I’ve been trying to record in GarageBand using Bias for my tone and now whenever I choose it, there’s no sound. I tried the same with n track and all I got is noise.

Having trouble using rhe apo. Seem like i up dated yesterday and today it wont oppen!!!

App is TRASH!. The idea is great on paper but PG YOU HAVE TO FIX THE BUGS WITH THIS APP!! Half the time the app doesn’t even sync with my device and even when it does, most of the time the app will disconnect at random times or just crash! You guys will NEVER beat Kemper or Axe Fx with this software. Props to you on the hardware though.

I have to pay for everything again?. So I’ve been using PG’s products for a long time now. I have the Bias Mini Head, Bias FX for iPad & Mac, Bias Amp 2 for Mac, iPad & iPhone. So I updated the apps on my iPad and Mac, paying for the extras on both platforms, amp packs, IR packs etc. Then I updated Bias Amp 2 on my iPhone and was a bit upset to find that I needed to again pay to unlock everything that I had previously paid to unlock on my iPad. And we’re not talking $20, it’s $14 for the 2.0 unlock, $9 for each of the amp packs, and $19 for the IR packs again. I can understand paying for Mac and iPad, two entirely different platforms, but to have to pay for the licenses again on my iPhone after paying for everything on my iPad is milking your customers. I won’t be repurchasing my licenses again for the iPhone and will be deleting the app since I don’t use it on my phone, it would have been useful to tweak my Mini Head, but I’ll just use my Mac and iPad, needless to say for a long time customer this is disappointing.

Great app!. Love Positive Grid apps!! Just wish they make a Final Touch app version for iPhone!!!

No Metronome. I would purchase if app had a metronome. Crazy that such an amazing app would not include such as essential piece for practice.

Bias Amp Mini 300 Head. I paid so much money through the App Store, and now can’t even see what I paid for. I put it on my iPad Pro, iPhone XS,Max,and another old iPad Air. Service is the worst. Can’t get through with ridiculous boxes you can’t even see what your choosing. If I don’t get help by the end of the week it’s going back to zZounds, and I’m going after Apple Store to get all the monies I spent. It worked at first but all this password nonsense is out of control. BTW teaching guitar for 35 years and still going strong. Was going to bring into my studio to show students what not to buy if they don’t rectify the problems by the end of the week. If I’m taken care of, I’ll do a revision.

BUYER BEWARE!!!. If you want the “updates” on your iPhone AND iPad you have to pay TWICE to get them on both of your devices. Positive Grid does NOT make that clear. Too bad because the app sounds pretty good. It’s just WAY overpriced to get it on both of your iOS devices.

Restoring purchases. Someone please help me. Im trying to transfer bias over to my new phone and i cannot

Meh. If you spend a bunch of money on the ipad version of the app, and purchase all the add-ons, it is completely absurd to have to pay for all of that again for the iphone version! That’s completely absurd and greedy af! Imagine how crappy it would be if other app makers did that?

Better than my kemper. I take this to live gigs cuts through the mix like a true tube amp. Everyone always asks how I get my tone and it’s this

Troubling. I bought a new iphone and i cant find a way to restore my purchases. Can any one help me? I have over 200$ into it. Please halp

Amazing job as an amp. Amazing but I can’t figure out how to Change output please help

Spam alert !. Front give your email to them !!!!! No way to unsubscribe. I would like my money back, don’t trust this company !

Have to pay twice for IPad and IPhone update !. In my opinion this is a bad business practice. Making loyal customers pay separately for each update on both IPad and IPhone platforms. I have been using Positive Grid for years and have notice each year they are building more and more a ‘need’ to upgrade their software which really seems to translate to the company charging their existing customer base unnecessarily. Additionally I was one of the first customers to preorder and purchase the BT Pedal which the company quietly discontinued a few years later without any acknowledgement. For the first time I am considering switching back to hardware pedals like POD 500x or Headrush at least they don’t charge their customers for Firmware and software updates. Positive Grid makes a great product but they don’t honor their customers.

Bait, then Switch. Unacceptable it is so poorly advertised that iPhone and iPad are separate purchases. Enjoy the $27 you made because the app is already gone.

The Best Thing Going. Without a doubt the best thing going for iPhone and iPad. No fizz, no buzz, no flop. Great bottom end too. Use it with AUM and add stereo FX. Use it with JamUp for a mono live set up. Could have been five stars but updates are poorly quality controlled. They tend to fix one thing and break another. Get that together PG...PLEASE!

Buzz sounds. I'm sure this could work very well if it didnt have this distorted buzz sound even when my sound gate is at 100 and on a clean amp. Please fix this so I can enjoy this app

Excellent app. Fun to use and tweak

Stay up till really late and disappointed!!. iPad and iPhone are the same platform iOS , why the hell I have to pay twice for the same pack ??!! That I also find out after reading some of the reviews on the App Store!!! I tried till late night to figure out, uninstalling the app and redo it many time !!

Great amps. These are great sounding amp sims. They can be modded like a real amp. I use them live through a PA and record direct to console. Cliff

Pay again. I agree we should not have to pay for everything again on the iPhone when I already purchased the iPad update. The excuse that it is a different program is hogwash. AmpliTube doesn’t make you pay twice. Neither do other apps. I have been a customer for along time but to have to pay twice and also loose any upgrades to bias amp one is too much

Impulse response. Hey I like all positive grid software, have you considered the possibility to use third part impulse response in the iPad version??? Also when will you realize bias fx 2 for iPad?

Do not like it. Do not like it

Cab sim. Did you really just take away the ability to turn OFF the cab sim for live performance? THAT WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME!!!!!!!

Not clear about pricing. Although this app sounds great, I was hoping to use it with jam xt, so I could use the tube screamer/reverb/jam player... so after spending $30 on bias amp, I find it doesn’t work without having to spend another $40 to be able to use the amp and have the exact same thing in jam xt ? This is a bit of a con, and misleading in their description that they will work together.

Genuinely impressed with this app. I'm genuinely impressed with the sound and quality of this app. I'm surprised people complain about spending another few dollars on the iPhone version, when if you look at the price of amp sims and professional software this is ridiculously cheap, yet performs really close to that level of quality. I mainly use the Desktop and plugin version in Logic Audio, but this is just super handy to use portably for ideas and practising.

Excellent, but a shame we're charged twice for it. Making us pay $5.49 for the same app we paid almost $20 for on iPad, Positive Grid ... That's a little unfair, don't you think? JamUp Pro is a universal app with only one purchase, couldn't this one have been too? Lucky for you it's an amazing piece of software and I paid for it anyway! ;) Wasn't happy about it though.

Doesn't work. Stopped working after update. Keeps crashing when trying to launch.

Bias amp 2. Free version has a wide variation of sounds and tone. All good!!!

Only works with the built in iPhone mic, pretty useless with a guitar. At least you have tonebridge

Have to pay twice for iPad and iPod versions. Great app but disappointed to have to pay twice: After purchasing iPad version, I then had to buy it again to install Bias on my iPhone. I use my iPad to edit Bias amps but use my iPhone to play live using Jamup Pro. The only way to access my edited Bias amps on the iPhone was to install Bias on the iPhone so I was not happy when I was prompted to pay again for that version by AppStore.

bias. pls add effect in bias amps for iphone the amps is good but no effects and jampro not the same sound pls add effect in bias amps for iphone thnks...

Awsome but has big issues. The app works very well until at some point it crashes every time you open it up I have reinstall it so it can work again

Really great but... Hey guys, I have been a great fan of your products especially Jamup Pro and BIAS, but.. I think it is a bit unfair to separate the iPhone and the Ipad counterparts, considering we bought the product. Just saying

No thanks to breaking bias in latest updates. And responding I emails like "well consider improving it" Support has basically told me to get lost, I run iOS 9.3.3, and they pushed a broken version in the App Store and won't fix it for this popular stable iOS and device!

Amazing modeller. Amazing amp modelling, right down to the style of DC transformer. Could use a few more mic choices.

Update ?. I love your products. I have a been an Avid user have told many people about your products it. But I don’t think you guys should charge us for iPad and iPhone separately. And I find I have to unlock the update $$$$on my iPad also for buyers 2...😣

Unstable. iPhone 6. Attempts at sharing up to ToneCloud result in a hard crash. Restarting phone multiple times, app will not reboot. Requires delete and reinstall. All user data lost.

Amazing!. Endless possibilities, very accurate and realistic!

App now crashes on startup. iPhone 5S with IOS 10.1.1 and the app now crashes on startup. Won't even launch. Considering I use the app all the time, this is really disappointing.

Babyface pro support. I bought this app and hoped to connect my RME Babyface Pro to it but unfortunately since the app only supports left, right and a mix of both as input, I basically can’t use the app. Bias FX already supports multi input Interface. I just don’t understand why not extend this support for all the Positive Grid apps? Having the option to choose between different outputs would also be very helpful. Then I can easily choose the output that Is connected my headphone or speaker. Please!.. I know that it’s not very hard to do this. You claim that you have developed a “Professional” effects processor on the market. I guess that would mean that it has to work with professional equipment too.

Spectacular!. Best modelling software I've used (never tried an Axe Fx II/XL or Kemper) and lots of creative possibilities, especially when combined with JamUp.

If you use both iphone and ipad stat away from bias!. If you use both iphone and ipad stat away from bias. If you buy any expansion pack, they won't be transferable from the iphone to the ipad, you will have to pay it all twice! If you use both device, Amplitude is a much better solution!

Terrible. This company sucks so bad. Will rip you off every chance ce it gets. And it’s products sound like crap.

Mind blown!!!. I've always been a tube amp guy(still am), but BiasAmp is a game changer. First off, the amps sound fantastic, and you can tweak to your hearts content. Everything is tweakable from the tone stack topology to the speaker cabinets. Once you've created your ideal tone, you can save it as a preset, and also save it into JamUp Pro. When saved into JamUp Pro, you then have access to the effects(distortion, filters, modulation, delays, reverb). I run it into the effects return of my tube amp(Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier with a 4x12 cabinet). I turn off the cabinet simulation in BiasAmp since I'm already running through an actual speaker cabinet. Doing this gives me access to completely realistic amps sounds that my amp may not be able produce in a conventional setup. I've tried it in several rehearsals and my band mates are sold. Next, I will be trying it at an actual gig.

Awesome. Sick app , enough said ! You get a LOT for a very fair price . I recommend this over Amplitube !

Great but ..... Guys i love your products ! Jamup pro and bias ! But since the bias 2 update the controls for the amps are ridiculously small on iphone version! Bias amp 1 was way better in that regard ... it’s just too small to be usable ! Please fix this thanks !

I seriously have to repurchase all of this app?. Recently I bought ALL the apps, amps, effects for this on my iPad. I hit restore purchase and nothing happens for my iPhone. So you mean to tell me I have to spend an additional $75? On top of me spending well over $200 just last month for my iPad. Bias FX crosses over just fine but this won’t???

insane but... what is with the separate purchase for unlocking the ipad version of this app. i just 45 bucks so i need to pay almost 100 to use it on my ipad too? nice cash grab there..

Game changer.. If you've wrestled with dialing in the tone you're looking for, this app is a must. Use a digital interface. I think I've played around with every modeling app and VST plugin out there, as well as just used the hardware, and I'm really blown away with BIAS. Good work, genius internet strangers.

Great app. It's a pretty good amp sounds pretty good too. I recommend hat you buy jam up pro to because it's meant to go with it. This app only carries the amp models but if you want pedals you'll need jam up pro. That's 10 dollars all together I say that's worth it compared to amplitude. And there's so many tones you can make from this. Buy the irig stomp. The other irig units are crap, they feedback a lot this is the only quality one.

greenirani. Thanks for making it available for iphone. waiting for your mastering app and wishing it would be universal

Great, but flawed. This is kind of a blanket review for the iOS versions and the desktop version. They all sound great, and are infinitely tweakable. BUT..... They're all buggy as hell. When I create a preset on the desktop, I should be able to upload it to Tonecloud, then login on my phone, sign in, and see that preset. Instead, I have to search for it. When I try to download it, it doesn't work; says I need a newer version of the software, of which there isn't one. Get these little problems sorted, Positive Grid. It's annoying to see you roll out product after product, but not fix the bugs in the current products.

Love it, wish for ir and fx. Excellent app, sounds great and fun to use. I just wish it could load ir files like the desktop version. Also, I have bias fx but there's no iPhone version of it which is a bummer to me. Lastly, I'm not a metal guy and this app and company seems to be almost entirely driven by that group. It's fine, but I'd love to see stuff for other genres more prominent in the overall brand. Great work!

DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!!. I had no problems with the app but a few crashes over the last 8 months or so. I just happened to see there was a new update so I updated now the app starts to open and crashes every time I try to use it. I figured it had to be because my iOS wasn't up to date, after updating my iOS (which is terrible and was trying to hold off for the rest of my life) still having the same problem. You can see the app open in the background but as soon as you click on bias it will send you back to the home screen sideways. Positive bias is in my eyes and ears the only amp simulator app that is worth a dime. Please get it fixed!!!!!!!!

Bias update crash fix. Delete the app and then reload; works fine.

Required update non existent. Downloaded a few tones from the cloud and was and to preview their sound but after I went to downloads I can't select them. I was under the impression that I had to buy the amp packs which I bought 2. Still unable to use them. Disappointing as they sound good with my guitar. I can't delete them either. When I try to select the amps in prompted to go to the website and update the app but it does nothing.

Beautifully Brutal. Best modeler on the app market. Positive Grid took JamUp and made it spectacular! If you love or even like to play guitar GET THIS APP!!! It will not disappoint!

AMAZING!!!. I'm kinda old school, and little behind the times and technology, but when I came across Bias Amp/FX in the App Store and they were doing a huge sale, like now, I decided to go for it.... Positive Grid has TOTALLY nailed it!!! Fast forward a couple of months and I decided to get the Pro Desktop version, another huge sale, I got it all... I'm speechless!!! I can't wait to see what they have for me next!!!

The real deal. Superior and customizable tone beyond anything you've ever seen. I haven't even delved into the metal/distortion amps yet.

Doesn't work. I have both jamup pro and this app. Bias amp app has not worked in almost a year. No matter what you do I get the same flubby sound that cuts in and out. Using on a iPhone 6s. Is this app ever going to be fixed?

Yes, it works.. I have an iPhone 5c and use the jamup plug exclusively (for now). I run a Fender GLS into it, as well as an old '61 Norma, a Lanikai concert ukulele, an active Ibanez fretless whose model escapes me at the moment. They all sound as they should, amp models are accurate, tone shaping control is exceptional and the amps I create port into Jamup Pro XT as they should. I like to use in-ears most often. Regular earbuds work just fine as well. If I want to get loud I can run it to a plain old home stereo. It's a great app to have when you hit up the guitar shops to test instruments. No waiting for the stereotypical willy wanker to pipe down or begging for a cable from inattentive staff. (I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin)

This update killed custom panel graphics. No longer will any imported custom panel graphics display or save properly. Even all graphics from the Strandberg panels have disappeared showing incomplete amp panels. Same thing happens when exporting the Bias models to JamUp Pro... The custom graphics will no longer show up there either. This all worked fine until the latest update.

If u own a guitar then u need this app. Great app!! Works flawlessly. Looks great. Decent price also. Work with the app jam uk also. U need this app😃

Inspiring. In addition to being a monster tone-building app, is also a valuable teaching tool.

Positively UPDATED UPGRADE!!. I was so glad when "Ben" from P.G. Emailed me about this new upgrade but honestly a little skeptical (because of what happened with the prior version) I wanted to make sure I actually put this thing through an entire set before I put up my review.. It's actually better then ever.. with more tones, more presets, and more Grit !! Thanks Guys for fixing this App so it doesn't crash and for getting it done quickly !!!

Weird artifacts, distortions etc. For some reason I can't get this software to work as I'm imagining it should. I've tried two different electric guitars,3 different cables, double and triple checked my connections and there's still a lot of crap in there in the signal. I've played guitar since 1975 so I know what it's supposed to sound like. I have an iPhone 6 and the Jamup interface with an apple converter so it will work on newer iPhones.

App isn't working properly.. I just purchased the Metal Pack but every time I select on a amp it gives me and error message: "The AMP is a new version, need to update BIAS from the amp store". I was already on the latest version so I deleted the app and re downloaded it....and it's still giving me the same error message. Please fix!!

Astonishingly awesome. Unbelievably awesome! Haven't touched the amps/gear I've spent thousands of dollars on since I've discovered BIAS & Positive Grid. No need for them now. And, all of this is on my freaking phone. It's too good to be true. You need this app.

Best amp sim available. The sound is so warm and the detail of control is absolutely amazing. A triumph of technology.

Ignore the 1 and 3 star reviews. This and bias are worth the price. Wish I had this when I was starting out 8 years ago.

Crashes. I enjoy this app so much, I considered to buy a desktop version for my laptop, but after resent update app doesn't start, just shows startup logo. I have no idea what to do. Still giving 5 starts because when it worked it was a killer amp app by far better than anything on a market.

Love this app, but it has some issues. This app is amazing. I sold my expensive processor unit, because this app covers my practice needs, while the desktop versions covers recording. The only problem I've encountered so far is that when I tried to sign in to the tone cloud with this app - it crashed and now I can't even launch it. That's sad, I hope it'll be addressed eventually.

Impressive. This is quite the amp modeling software. It's particularly impressive when the portable factor is taken into account. Garage Band has decent amp modeling, but nowhere near the tweak ability that BIAS has. The possibilities are nearly endless with the number of different tweaks that are available. Then there's the Tonecloud. If you don't want to make your own amp model, steal somebody else's. Easy. If you want a portable amp modeler, grab this before the price goes up.

Amazing. Best amp modeling software and app I have ever used (this includes guitar rig and amplitube) I use this as my main rig, write and record with it. You can customize the amp to your liking without spending thousands of dollars and pairing it with jamup makes it even better!

Great APP - but still glitches. The app is amazing.... but it seems to glitch when you go from BIAS to Jamup Pro and then back to BIAS to choose another amp. The amp selections are blank besides the one your originallly chose. This might be an iOS 8 issue..... but i've contacted support and still waiting for a reply. I'm on an iphone 5s

Amazing. Sound quality, variety and versatility are the best on the market for the price. No crashes on iOS 8.1 iPhone 5S.

Great for on the go musicians. Bias is a great app, and it produces amazing results. I pair mine with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, which fits nicely in me guitar case. The results are phenomenal. I have heard other complain, but when paired with a decent audio interface Bias cannot be beaten.

Definition of guitar sound. I've been using software amp modeling since the early days. It never mattered what the brand was. It was always getting better and better. A little something was missing until Positive Grid didn't show up and nailed that what every guitarist was dreaming of. Arsenal of amps, pedals and tubes all in your pocket. Ready for stage, practice or studio! This is the definition of present and the future of the guitar sound. Get it right now!

Stay away from the in app purchases. It's the best sounding modeler I've heard, unfortunately the in app purchases are not worth it. To start with, though they don't tell you, you can't share them between your iPhone and iPad. That's like buying an upgrade on your desktop and not being able to use it on your laptop. Also the in app purchases show up in your custom section along side all of the time cloud downloads and as far as I could tell so far the new cabinets can't be shared with all of the app default amps. It seems the expansion packs are more like patches than new amps. I tried using bias with bias fx on an iPad 2 and it's a constant clipping/dropout situation. The same goes for audiobus and these apps, so you want the latest iPad.

Sick tone. Omg.. Playing for 20 years, would never have imagined I could dial in master of puppets tone on my phone... Sick! Be aware as I see at least one other wasn't. This is the tone engine, and will not have fx... but does have amazing tone. It does also integrate with another program, that you can run fx with. Great job!!

Tone you can get inside of. Using apogee jam and 90s Japanese Fender Strat Input levels really change the character of the amps, so you may need to run the input levels fairly high, especially if the sound seems too clean and glassy. Also you may want to turn the "room control" room ambience off at first. I was crazy impressed by: The high detail and character in the sound, especially the warm tube sound. All of the stuff you could adjust and mess with that was much more than just eq. The huge variety of sounds you could get, from Marshall stack to Silvertone. The way you can get a high gain big distortion sound without harsh high end. The things I thought could be better: The "room control" reverb is really dark and tanky and mono. There is no reverb or tremelo in the amp models. The room reverb does not seem to interact with the mic position. It plays well with Garage Band by starting the audio recorder instrument then plumb in Bias with Inter App Audio. Then you can use Garage Band's really rich wide stereo reverb for a good room sound.

Great tones and tweakability. This is my favorite guitar amp sim. Along with JamUp pro for the fx, just great tones throughout. The ability to "mod" many different aspects of your pre and power amp sections is what makes this amp sim stand apart for all the others. A must have for players that want the best tones outside of actually playing a great tube amp....Bias is it!

Eh. Great clean tones, decent crunch tones, terrible high gain tones. Especially through headphones

I wouldn't have even dreamed... This app is all that and more! It lets you do things that would otherwise be impossible! And is as easy as playing Angry Birds! This and Jamup are gonna make me break down and buy an Ipad. Just get it!

Doesn't load after update. The latest update isn't loading on my device. First the 'allow microphone' dialog popped up, after I clicked yes it went to the loading screen. Another dialog box flickers briefly every so often but doesn't stay long enough to begin to read or click anything.

Good idea, horrible delivery. Product does not work like promised in videos. You cannot get he hissing and squeak out not matter how you adjust settings. Avoid this app

Currently not working on iPhone 5.... I had trouble with iPad version of BIAS and it's not working properly with iPhone version either. It does not make any noise in the BIAS app, but it works when you port the amp to Jamup XT. Perhaps adding output selection would solve this. I don't think the Jamup Plug is to blame because it works perfectly fine in Jamup XT. I will be glad to change the rating once this issue has been acknowledged and fixed. Another $8 that has seemingly gone to waste for now. Hopefully a fix will make my $28 (iPad version added) spent on these apps worth it. Also, I felt like most of the 5 star reviews as of now were not from ordinary customer; meaning they are associated with Positive Grid.

Raised the bar again!!. I've seen it in the ads. I've noticed in was on iPads. And now, finally, it's on my iPhone! Perhaps the best $5 I have spent in a very long time. This app takes your guitar tone to where your imagination can reach. I can custom design my own amp, AND, drag it into my JamUp app. You will not be disappointed. Buy It!!

Excellent amp modeler.. Now Bias is even more portable with the new iPhone version. Get great tones for guitar and bass and take them with you to gig. Now I have my AC30 with me anywhere I go. A must buy for any musician.

TONE BEAST. The amount of tonal options and sound quality of this app alone is well worth 10x what they charge and being able to bring it in to JamUp I love this thing finally can have my dream guitar tone.

Infinite Tonal Control.. Build your own amp from the ground up! Amazing control & options! Sounds so awesome through a PA too! Very well designed app, and very easy to use. Unlimited possibilities when paired with JamUp xt!

Must have!. Anyone using Jamup should have this app, too. Totally customize your amp rig, then integrate it with Jamup for a crazy good sounding rig.

It won't open!!. Why doesn't it want to open its up to date and everything, do I redownload

Now all your tone belong to us!. Couldn't even sleep last night, waiting for this. 💃 🎤🎸💃 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Great Tone. This app has amazing sound, especially when the amps are used in Jamup. No guitar player would regret buying this amp, but I recommend getting the positive grid pack to save money on bias and Jamup, as well as three other useful apps. Saves you a total of like 15 bucks
