Too many ads :/. The games is good except for that fact that you have a certain amount of energy and you have to watch an ad every single time you die, complete a level, or the ads just pop up. I would’ve gave this more stars if there weren’t ads every couple seconds oh and also why is it so much just to get no ads like 5.99 a month for no ads?!?! This game developer is so money hungry it’s kinda sad. But other than that it’s a good game I just wouldn’t play because of the ads.

Cut the rope USING POWER-UPS!. I love using POWER-UPS! The most useful POWER-UP are the teleporters because you change teleport On Nom anywhere on screen to control his position of any particular level. Sometimes you have to be quick to teleport him from place to place. Other than that, you can instantly complete challenges by using POWER-UPS especially the teleporters to earn easily coins by using POWER-UPS if you aren’t smart or very smart. USE POWER-UPS! I love POWER-UPS!

A Fall From Grace.... Like everyone my age, I played a lot of games in the Cut the Rope series. It had simple but addictive puzzles and didn’t have any ads. But now, you have to pay upwards of $10 PER MONTH just to get back an experience that should be a one and done purchase of maybe $2 (and even THAT’S being generous). Without paying, be prepared to get 30 second un-skippable ads every few retries. If they either made the ads not take up nearly as much of the experience or just made it $2 to turn ads off, this review would probably be 4-5 stars easily. It’s a real shame.

Please read. Today I decided to reset my progress and start again but when I did I somehow ended up with -1 balloons at 1-8 it usually gives you a free balloon so you can get that one star but when it gave it to me since I had -1 balloons I ended up with 0 balloons instead of one making one star in 1-8 IMPOSSIBLE to reach for me can you just fix this? I don’t wanna spend money and I can’t just restart the level after beating it after claiming my anti balloon it just soft locks my game and I have to reset the level

Not as cute... Om Nom is a boulder?. I like the stunt ability on the main menu. But when in game, Om Nom is not as cute: I liked it better when he looked directly at the camera. Also, his legs seem closer together, and overall he seems more like a Boulder with stumpy, hard legs than a cute little soft creature. Also, the losing animation is too long.

Hmmmm. I love the game BUT as every review has stated, Wayyyy too many ads. It’s quite annoying. Some of the fruit exercises are impossible unless you spend MONEY for coins to get power ups and/or to get rid of the ads. Glitch in game has caused me to lose hints because they didn’t work correctly. You have to wait for next levels to unlock or complete impossible fruit levels or again spend money to get power ups. I wouldn’t mind paying a small fee to get continued game play without ads but this is insane! I just want to play the game. It’s really taken all the fun out of it. Bummer. You can purchase a $2.99 pack for one month of no ads and unlimited sun power. It’s been much better since purchasing this pack. Update.. I have deleted the game. I had accidentally hit a wrong button costing me the 5000 coins I had worked so hard to achieve. Mind you I had already spent some money on the Game as well. I contacted support and they were unwilling to help me in any way, claiming they can’t determine what’s deliberate and what isn’t. Nothing like poor customer service. They could have thrown a bone! They lost a paying customer. Good luck!

Please remove the Guillotine game ad. I love this game and the problem solving. Even the cartoons are cute and child friendly. However, I or my family won’t be on it any more because of an ad that really upset my son. It showed a guillotine ready to chop and saying “you’re a loser” to prompt the user to do something. I immediately took the device away, but I could not by pass this ad. Please be as diligent in choosing the right ads as you are in the game play play and cartoon messages. Such a shame.

First one is better. I love the original cut the rope. I think Om Nom and the whole concept of the boxes was so cute but this version does not include boxes which is sad. I thought this would be just like the original but with new boxes and levels. It is not. The ad problem that others seem to have can easily be solved by turning on airplane mode, just so everyone knows. Also another thing I don’t like is that Om Nom “Gets tired”. I absolutely hate it when games kick you out and keep you from playing them and that is exactly what this game does. This is just so different from the original and I don’t like it. I hope version 3 isn’t any worse.

Very creative but SOOOO DIFFICULT!. I had a lot of fun with this game and the idea of actually getting to move Om Nom around is really cool. Zeptolab really upped their game with creating this. Although I like it a lot there are a lot of issues I’ve had with this game that I want to discuss. 1. Too complicated! I know this game is meant to be challenging but the levels get to that point where they’re just way too complicated to figure out, to the point where I need to use multiple teleporters in order to cheat my way out of it in order to progress with the game. Spent a lot of coins that way ;-; 2. Really high prices The prices for buying stuff with Candy Coins is too high. They’re not easy to get and items are expensive as heck. 3. TOO MANY ADS!!! This has been a constant problem with the entirety of the Cut the Rope series… I get an ad at least after every other level I do, and sometimes I just end up getting one for literally just hitting restart. These aren’t meant to hate on the Cut the Rope series though. I really love the series and the artstyle and music are great, but these few issues I’ve listed are why this game doesn’t get that 5th star from me.

Ads are horrible. Game is fun, difficult but fun. But the ads are so bad. You have an ad after every level attempt and you have to sit through the whole 30 second ad rather than having the option to close it after 5-10. I literally spend more time watching ads than I do playing the game.

Fun but so many ads. This is a fun game and I loved the original back in the day. I get there is a premium membership and if you don’t purchase it you have to see ads, no problem there I totally get it. The problem is there are so many ads and the ads are a full 30 seconds long without being able to skip after a few seconds. So it takes forever to play one level. Then every time you open it you have to close out of a request to be a premium member. I have to delete this app because you I can’t enjoy the game with all the other stuff being shoved in my face.

Ads are stupid. Ok, ads are stupid. One time I was stuck on a level and it finally asked if I wanted hints, which need another name, cause it’s not a “hint”. It tells you how to beat the level. Ok, so I clicked “one hint.” and it restarted the level, then suddenly an ad appeared. It just took me to the App Store. I didn’t touch ANYTHING. So I finally got back. And it gave me one hint. I touched one hint but that was pretty annoying.

Big letdown to cut the rope. Cut the Rope 1 was great, Cut the Rope 2 is full of micro transaction “power ups” that are sometimes required to get all stars, that’s not a puzzle game, that’s pay to win. Lots of annoying ads that pop up on your screen between and during levels. Om Nom (candy eating monster) also “gets tired” (after eating candy?) and necessitates more “sun power ups” available to purchase from the AppStore for money or wait 5 minutes for EVERY ATTEMPT. There’s no way this game got so many 5 star reviews. Absolutely scummy game development

Welp...... Okay so it’s okay but I’ve played on it for about 10 minutes and already got kinda bored....and I don’t complain abt adds but these adds you can NOT skip and they are 30 SECONDS LOOONG!!! I know we all understand why the ads are there but can they at least be skippable??? Virtually unplayable. Like many others I’ve seen on here, I loved the first game, but this one is basically impossible to play because of the way the ads work. They pop up constantly and are impossible to skip, so you spend more time watching them than you do actually playing the game. When you do get to the actual gameplay, you’re bombarded with the need to purchase microtransactions if you want to be able to complete the levels. I’m completely baffled by the review score this game has, although reading some of the 5 star ones makes me wonder if they are real...

Good, but in a warped way.. Some levels are basically impossible without power ups, which ruin the gameplay. Also the ads are turning 3 minutes to perfect a level, TO 10. The rest is okay. (Although I miss the boxes.)

How do you get past level 8 / 9?. There is a TV where you can watch “Forest”, I’ve watched it, and it hasn’t unlocked anything! There are ALOT of ads, but it is fine, seriously though, HOW??? (the game is really fun though) You found the HIDDEN MESSAGE, Congrats! :D

Not worth the hassle. I have play many of the cut the rope games and when the phase of ads started to show up it was okay. You would watch ads for second chances or even hints for that matter. But now it’s ridiculous. There are to many ads to try and enjoy the game and the only way to get rid of them is to subscribe?! Apps that had adds use to be .99 to remove adds not $5 a month. I could maybe even understand a one time payment of $1.99 or something but this type of game in my opinion is not worth the subscription price. The adds kill the mood and I have deleted the app because of it.

Too many ads you cannot click past. Fun game, but the ads are frequent, too long and not passable. Not only that, after you play about half way through the first level, this appears on your screen: “Om Nom got very tired”. They then give you an option to spend sun to keep playing or watch yet another video ad to keep playing! Alternatively you can wait for 3 minutes and then you can keep playing. However, I had already watched more than my fair share of commercials when this screen came up! Again, this is a fun game, but the ads are frequent enough that I would not recommend this game and I will be removing it from my library.

Awesome!!!. I LOVE THIS GAME!!! In the first Cut The Rope I completed all the boxes with all the stars. But there is a problem, I do wish there were no ads. That’s the one thing I hate. Also Om Nom is SO CUTE!!! I just want to kiss him. I mean if you have seen him, you would want to do the same. Also I completed the first game in less then a month. Crazy right? Constant ads. I’m happy bro I restart the next game I’m like yes I will try again and again and again but when an ad pops up it makes me frustrated worst experience possible if no ads popped up I would be playing and enjoying and after I exit the level and complete it I would watch 3 ads max and still be happy Edit: Deleted the game, finally happy!

The best game ever ❤️. It brings me back to my childhood and it is so addictive and it helps me when I’m bored because I have something to do instead of being bored all day I can just rely on the game. And the last thing that is amazing is that all of the levels are very creative because they are all so cool❤️.

My favorite game, but…. The graphics are good, Om nom is cuter, and the gameplay is really good but there’s so many ADS. Every time I complete a level, I get an ad. And when you need energy, which is also annoying, you have to watch a ad for only 5 tries. I really love cut the rope, but when I’m playing I have to turn the internet off just to actually progress.

WAAAAYYYYY TOO MANY ADS. This game is a lot of fun. When you’re able to play it. In a 30 minute span I believe I was able to play the game for maybe a collective 18 minutes. This is a game where you want to quickly repeat a level of you fail, but the ads are absolutely over the top annoying and make it almost impossible to enjoy playing a game like this with constant interruptions. Furthermore, the only options to get rid of the ads are a $15 purchase or a $20 monthly subscription. Are you serious???? What a rip off. Way too much money. Especially when you can get Apple Arcade for $5 a month and get access to thousands of games like this. Amazing game! Awful marketing and totally unfair prices!

Game problem. I beat the original cut the rope so I decided to download Cut the Rope 2 to continue! However I was so disappointed because it won’t let me play. It asks me to verify my age however every time I click ok the game crashes. I’ve tried clearing the tab, powering off my phone, deleting and then re downloading the app and nothing has worked. I’m sure it’s a great game worth a good rating but the fact that I can’t even play is kind of disappointing.

Soooooooooo fun!!!. I love this game. It’s so fun filled with the videos, no ads at all(not like other games!). You have to really use your brain to move on to another level. Could have been so good. The game its self is fun but there are so many adds that I’m watching more than I’m playing. The levels are fun but it’s hard to enjoy them when every 2 seconds I’m interrupted by an add. Also the only helpful power up is hints all the other ones just make the game complicated. WOAH! Way Too Overwhelming.. This game used to be 5 stars but has dropped down to 3 due to how overwhelming it is with its challenges and each level has three parts. I mean, yeah, it’s nice to have something to go back and replay the levels for but what about the beginning levels? No way! WAY too easy to go back from the beginning.

Really fun strategy game, The only thing that I don’t like about it is you play to games can you advertise another game which is fine butYou wait for the time limit for the game for the ad and you keep trying to exit out and it just keeps coming back and coming back like three or four days before you can get back to your game you need to address that.

Just like the first one, with 6x the ads. The game itself is exactly what you’d expect it to be if you played the first Cut The Rope. Some improvements you’d expect such as graphics, sounds, etc. The problem is if you don’t sign up for the VIP (offer pops up after the second level), you’re forced to watch a 30 second ads and wait 10 seconds after it’s done playing to exit out and play the next level. It’s faster to close the app and open it again, but you will be greeted with more offers to spend money on in case you forgot it was an option.

No Longer an Enjoyable Game Due to Excessive Ads. I used to love “unwinding” & playing this adorable game! However, I’m REALLY sorry I “fell for the advertised ‘upgrade’” as this version has an ad after almost every exercise. As JC mentioned in their review, the ads are entirely too long, not appealing &, worst of all, you are FORCED to suffer through the ad to resume the game. I’m actually more stressed after trying to play this game (which used to be a heck of a lot more enjoyable)! I will also no longer be playing it....

Hints don’t work. I’ll be playing a hard level and I’ll get a hint, but if I do 1 thing wrong the game gives up and turns off the hint and when they do work I can count numerous times where the hint fails the level. If I need help, I should at least get good help. Please fix his ASAP, it makes the game not fun. I like the game overall but please fix it.

Mind blowing number of ads. This game is amazing but the number of ads is mind blowing. Completely irritating. Completely ruins the game. And this game doesn’t seem to give you an option to remove ads either. Although it is BS that games make you pay for ad removal. I get the little features in the game cost money - fine. Fantastic… except for the ads. I love the puzzle solving and satisfaction of giving Om Nom his candy… but the ads are so notorious! I wish they wouldn’t show up every 3 tries; you can get the subscription to eliminate it, but it’s $5 a week! That’s $20 a month, which is honestly ridiculous for a mobile game.

Too many ads. A change in the ad system can save this game for me. I’m giving 3 stars because the game gives me nostalgia and WAS fun. Can’t really repeat levels because of a 30seconds ad for 5-10 seconds of game play. Pretty intense. Fix: 1. Make ads after a static amount of time, not every 2 level resets 2. Make ads give user incentive. (Cosmetics for Om Nom, make him wear cute hats or something, change the candy color/type) There’s so much you can do without making it so much harder for the user, We understand you need to make money. I would even take an ad at the start of the game if that meant I’d get a solid 5-10 minutes of gameplay time and then a 30 second ad.

What happened to all the other shows of Cut the Rope?. I mean sure it’s a great game, but what happened to all of the videos I was gonna watch the Om Nom new neighbors show, but I couldn’t. It stinks, but I mean it’s a good game. Please be sure to fix that.

Annoying ads and impossible levels. I like this game! But the new version ruined the gameplay and added a heavy amount of ads. Not only ads, there are some impossible levels especially fruit exercises are impossible to collect in the total number of fruits. And it also requires a number of powerups to complete fruit levels. Although fruit levels are hard, some puzzles are almost impossible to get missioned. 2nd problem is sun The life meter of om nom is usually at 90. Once I retrying too much, it is at most 45. After it gone, we are unable to play levels unless it increased. 3rd problem is ads Ads too much is annoying and if you make it calm, you should either pay $13 to get rid of ads or turn off Wi-Fi.

Almost unplayable due to the greediness. I was a huge fan of the original many years ago so I downloaded this for my kids to play. I was shocked at how aggressively the game pushed a very predatory “membership” version and within a day decided to delete the app so my kids didn’t accidentally click on it. The game has the option to free play I think but it was unpleasant to play. Think of an aggressive panhandler begging for money as you are trying to enjoy yourself. That’s this game. The contrast between the original, where there was an honest upfront payment made and then the game played smoothly, and now is a great illustration of how much game design has degraded over the last ten years.

Map layout. When you complete a level and hit the next button, the game takes you back to the map. In the other version, it takes you to the next level right away. Can you update it so that happens? Otherwise great game.

All characters in one level? And build your own level?. I was trying to tell you if you can do all characters in one level that would be amazing 🤩 the characters om nom toss lick roto blue boo ginger and snailbrow could all be in one scene also can you build your own level? I will put all characters in the level I will show it to my parents they would say WOW!! I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT GET THROUGH THIS !!!!! and I would say aw come on you can do this. They would think there would be mountain of levels I just built in the app it’s just cooooooool I can’t stop building my own levels I want to do it for ever !!!! Cut the rope 2. Cut the rope 2 is amazing everyone should have it it makes you feel good when the little guy gets the candy it makes you feel good about yourself because he’s so happy About it to it makes you and the little guy happy that you got his candy for him

I bought the paid version and.... As with the previous versions, I bought the paid version for this one to just enjoy the game, but boy was I wrong thinking that would be it. The commercialization on this game is nuts. Levels unlock only if I do timed challenges and the fruit challenges, which are sometimes impossible to complete without the paid add-ons and I absolutely dislike both. So now I’m stuck in the middle of the game really hating the fact that I need to do the fruit challenge. This is not the game I thought I was buying. Quite disappointed...

$20/month to remove ads?. $5/week to remove ads from a fun little time waster mobile game? Are you kidding me? Entitlement, arrogance, and greed to think this game commands that kind of subscription. I have games in Steam that I’ve been playing for 10+ years that cost me $120 with DLC, representing thousands of hours of play time. The only thing being played here are the people paying for this “subscription”.

Still good. This Cut the rope isn’t really like the first one. But that doesn’t mean it’s not good. Things have changed in this game. Instead of just getting 3 stars, you have to try to do that and also get three medals. The first medal is 3 stars, the second is a certain amount of fruits and the third is a challenge. And once you get those medals, you can use them on the map to unlock the gates so you can play more levels. I think it’s better how in the first Cut the rope, all you had to do was get 3 stars and you wouldn’t have to unlock much stuff. And here’s one thing I hate about games: Energy. You get only a certain amount of time to play and if you want to play longer you have to buy more! And I don’t like that! Not one little bit. Well at least you get a lot of energy in this game. So yeah, besides all of that, this games’ pretty great! 4 stars!

Ads are way too frequent. There’s an I skip panel ad every 5ish seconds of game play; multiple ads when trying to complete the same level; ads when you unlock new levels; optional ads to earn a pitiful amount of currency. On top of that a shop with purchaseable (for real money) level hacks. Honestly this isn’t a free game, it’s $5.49 to get the “turn off ads” bundle which is necessary for the amount of ads there are. They should have just released it with a free trial of the first few levels then unlock the additional levels for that price. Now I’m just turned off and I’m not gonna give them a cent. Which is a shame because when you aren’t being bombarded with ads the game itself is lovely.

Cut the Rope 2. Cut the Rope 2 is a little bit the same as Cut the Rope but it’s actually different.

Finicky and Constantly Crashing. The game mechanics are fun and nostalgic but the game constantly crashes. In the past 20 minutes it’s crashed 7 times. It’s disappointing and ruins an otherwise fun game.

Failure to Success on Cut the Rope 2. Doing levels was so hard but I couldn’t it and kept trying to finish the levels.

Amazing. I love this game. People complaining about ads just get over it! Their are tons of positives that outnumber the negatives, but in my opinion their is no flaws! It’s relaxing and helps with my anxiety. It has beautiful scenery and colours and the designs are cute! Every aspect is happy and it’s all positive! Adorable and has lovely music! It’s so fun too! The challenges and extra mini challenges are fun and just the right amount of difficult. Definitely 100% would recommend!

For a one finger game to continually nag for an ongoing subscription fee is insane. For the love of god, just let us buy the game outright and it’d be playable.

Pls fix. When I downloaded it and went into the game and once I finished level 1 it kicks me out so I go back into the game and I have to restart the whole game and it happens to me everytime I try to play so plsssssss fix this😔

Waaaaaaaay too many ads... and violent. And violent ads... even though their privacy policy says the age will be used to show only appropriate ads there is someone dying in nearly every ad.

Challenging but ads are too long and frequent. The levels are hard, which isn’t a bad thing - I’m happy to repeat a level dozens of times, learning and improving each time. But not when there are 30second ads every few tries. Makes it very frustrating.

Great. This game is great and hard. This makes me want to keep playing until I get it right! The only problem is that a lot of the ads are at least 15 seconds long and I am not able to skip them. Other than that the game is amazing!

Annoying ads. The ads are so long and annoying. They don’t just happen between levels, but even when you reset a level, which happens frequently. I deleted the game after only six levels because of this.

Kid10yearsoldin2019. There are way to many for example when I want to restart a level an ad just pops up and some ads you can not X it out. Now I maybe wrong and there don’t control the but at least try to put lease ads if you don’t want to buy the VIP or if your parents don’t allow you to buy the VIP. Not possible to 3 star without spending money. There are some levels where you have to use limited power-ups to get all 3 stars. These power-ups cost coins. Coins cost real money. Came here from the original game and was disappointed. There's some subscription for no ads instead of a one-time payment. :(

ADS ADS ADS. Play 1 level and then be forced to watch a 1:30 ad, then they give you false buttons that try to trick you in to buying the advertised game. Finally get through the ad for a different game and they ask you to subscribe for 5 dollars a month to the current game so you dont have to see ads. What a miserable experience.

The strength of magnetic field is proportional to the distance from it. Other than that, which must have solved gameplay issues, love your games.

Way too many ads and had to delete. Every other attempt is a 30+ sec ad. Even if it’s a re-try on one that you failed, an super long ad pops up and ruins the flow of the game. You end up spending 3-4x the amount of time watching ads versus actual gameplay. Easy decision to delete.

You guys ruined my childhood game. So i paid for cut the rope 1 and 2. I 100% them, thats how much i played. Apparently you guys take the paid for version off the app store, make a free version that is somehow worse, and use the free version as your only title. You guys literally never updated the actual 2nd game, you stopped using it so you can milk a new generation

Can’t enjoy this game with the obnoxious ads. I was a huge fan of the original Cut the Rope game, and the spin offs. But this ad-supported version is unplayable. I’d be willing to buy the app outright to get rid of the ads, but the only option is to “subscribe” for $5 PER WEEK. PER WEEK!!! That’s more than I pay for Apple TV+! Yeah no. I did the first 2 levels, then a pop-up came up saying I had to sign up for a free trial of the premium version that would automatically start charging me after 3 days. It wouldn’t let me close the pop-up until I signed up. Absolutely not. I deleted the app, this is predatory and unacceptable.

Pls help. The game is honestly fun. Of course I don’t like the excessive use of ads like many others. And another problem I come across is how laggy the game is, the game crashes after 3 minutes and just ruins the game. I’ll be glad if you could look into this problem, overall good game.

Too hard. It could be really fun but I think that it’s far too hard. I barely started the game and already wanna quit because the levels are almost impossible especially the fruit ones. Also there are too many ads and I don’t like having to wait for sun to play.

Expensive to play. This app requires a WEEKLY subscription of $4.99 to remove ADS. After each level you are prompted if you want to sign up for their subscription. Seems a bit crazy seeing as it used to be like a one time fee of a few dollars to permanately remove ads.

BMW is more friendly with paywalling. you have to PAY to play the game at a normal rate. instead of paywalling power ups you decided to paywall PLAYING THE GAME NORMALY adding a limit to how many try's you get is for the parental controls section not the REAL WORLD MONEY SHOP

Fun but not with add. Fun game but the amount of ads is on par with poorly made games. NTM their all set up in the opposite screen mode so if you do check them out your constantly rotating your screen. I like a good puzzle game but 5 sec to solve a starting level followed by a 30 sec ad is too much.

Too many ads. Gameplay is fun but there’s an ad every 45 seconds. And they’re all like 30 seconds long. I would have really enjoyed this game but I had to delete it because you literally spend half the time on the app watching ads and it’s infuriating.

Could be better. When ever they want you to do something extra like getting free balloons, they don’t let you do anything else until you do it. Overall, good game.
