I want to love it!. Update: From 3 stars to 1 star. During our worship service on Sunday two songs went off beat halfway through and basically handicapped our singers. After every update there are new issues and the developers don’t take any action to actually test the app in service for reliability after the app is updated. This app and its infrastructure is more and more becoming an obstacle for our worship sets and not a helpful tool. Update: This week is the week I finally have the time to move our MultiTrack infrastructure to Loop Communities Prime App. I will post one last update after we use the Prime App and leave a final review for PlayBack. I’ve been using PlayBack for almost a year now and am it’s been a crazy journey but I’m glad to finally get off the system. I truly hope that others have had less embarrassment using this app due to failures but if you are looking to switch; there are other options.

Was great…. Not so much now.. This app worked wonderfully when I got it but the last month or two it keeps getting quieter… I have my phone turned up, the app turned up and can still barely hear it. Then went to use the app to sing in church and the app wouldn’t work with their sound system… as I have done many times with other sound systems in the past. It’s the app because I played music off my phone just fine. Please fix.

Life saving app!. This amazing app has been a lifesaver for our young church. Super easy to use. Before this, I was tracking songs myself in a DAW... very time consuming. But with Playback, I just purchase and download the songs we need, have a click for the musicians and singers to play to, have the ability to tweak the mix, change the arrangement, transition between songs... just a great app all around. I’d really like to be able to start and end on the exact time stamp that I set instead of it “rounding down” to the beginning of a measure. Love the new MIDI queues for lyrics and lights. Have an issue with the queues transmitting several seconds late on subsequent songs after the 1st. Found a workaround kind of. Ticket submitted to support. I’m sure they’ll get this fixed in a dot release (update).

Great but could be better. Playback has been a blessing and super helpful to our church and to our worship team. Lately it’s been getting off beat A LOT, and we thought it was us playing but as we kept noticing it consistently we saw it was the app doing it. Every week there’s always some new update that supposedly fixes bug issues and makes the app better, but we still encounter the off beat. I would love to continue using this app, but if it’s going to be doing this every time and hold us back then idk if we can.

Major Stability Issues. There is so much this service offers and I’m an heavy/avid user. From normal store bought tracks to custom original uploads. Began having issues on laptop, so bought new setup powered by M1 iPad thru interface, and it has been nothing but chasing glitches, unwanted stops, random voice guide dropouts, etc. I pay for a lot of songs and cloud service… I cannot recommend for live performance anymore.

Huge time saver!. The app has come a long way in just a year! With new in-app features like - transitions, click track tone flexibility, tempo changes, and key changes, I have cut back on my preparation time by HOURS. I now have very little need to use an outside DAW. Like many serving in ministry, music is only one part of my responsibilities at my church - so time is a valuable thing! I get excitied every time I see a Playback update, because I know my weekly music preparation is going to be lightened!

Needs an update BAD. No Bluetooth midi support.. While the app is quite powerful in so many ways (with the pro version) the fact that it does not support the native iOS Bluetooth midi functionalities is insane. For instance: you want to use a foot-pedal controller to on-off the pad, or trigger the next song, etc. You HAVE to be tethered to it via a USB dongle… ONLY. So imagine how bummed I was when I purchased a nifty little iRig Bluetooth pedal - to find that it pairs with EVERY other app on the iPad - but not Playback. I even tried using a midi bridging app (like mdmttr) and that will allow me to route the midi OUT from playback - but since playback has zero midi IN configuration options, it will ONLY see usb dongled- tethered option… which is quite messy on stage - esp. if you don’t want to lead worship with the ipad right next to you, and you need to clear off the stage quickly to make way for the pastor to teach. Big-old long USB cable run that can pop out of the ipad if anyone even looks at it wrong. Anyways - massive oversight to not utilize this long-available functionality. Contacted dev support - NO answer. Definitely quick to take my cash, however. I’ll be happy to update my review when they update the app!

Great app. Makes running tracks super convenient. I just wish we could be able to create play lists. We keep all our tracks on the iPad since internet isn’t that fast or reliable here. So we have many songs in the library and just makes it soooo painful having to drag songs in place Please implement creating set lists. Thanks

New update doesn’t work!. This new update DOES not work. Will not play the tracks via the correct output (plays the pad though) via BT. Multiple devices and multiple accounts. Such a pain during a worship practice with volunteers to have to spend 30 minutes reworking this thing only to have it never work. I love the concept but it makes me wanna go back to Abelton. At least I knew what I was getting into

Can’t be used on multiple devices. When I first started using this app for church, I was able to have multiple people log into the account and practice w the loop and click on their own perspective devices. The set list wouldn’t sync but that was fine since it was just for practice. However, now we can’t do that without a message popping up that to log in separately, it would delete all content. A bummer!

Reason to giving just one star. I’ve been trying to use this app, but can’t because when I buy the songs, it won’t load on playback. I tried getting in contact with this company or the creators of this app, but it’s taking me very long to find the contact info. Kinda just wasted a lot of money on nothing... and that’s the reason why I only gave this app one star. If I could get some help, then I’ll give five stars.

Recently undependable.. We’ve been using playback for years now and had random issues with tracks overlapping and getting off beat. These things are usually worked out before service because I run our tracks several times before executing. About four weeks ago, Playback has started crashing mid service and this is embarrassing to say the least. We still run the tracks repeatedly before service, however for some reason about halfway through the second song it just crashes. We are running a device that is only about 6 months old and is up to date. I always exit all apps minus this before running. Please help correct this issue.

New update is bad. We love this app at our church and keep getting excited about all the new updates and how much it’s beginning to rival ableton for church use. This last update changed stuff a lot and we can’t figure out how to use it now. We used to be able to just tap on “add song” and then pull in any of our previously purchased song tracks from a great little song bank. Now if you tap “add song” it wants you to rent tracks instead? And our list of previously purchased tracks is gone. What happened to all the tracks we bought? Why would we need to rent anything? We’re just really confused.

Fantastic for tracks. However, desperately needs normalizing EQ function.. This is such an amazing app for what it does. Our church uses this every Sunday and it is dependable, reliable, diverse in its application. Executed very well what it’s expected to. Links to what tracks have been purchase online sync up really well with no hiccups. Key changes, etc work very well. Splitting click track and guide to in-ears only and the rest out to mains is a godsend. Thank you! My biggest gripe is how poorly EQ’ed every song is. Is it on the product roadmap to normalize volume on every track? Currently, because every song has different levels, this at times can b come a nightmare to manage with such huge bass swings song-to-song. We’ve had to make sure sound guys take notes for when a volume spike is coming upon song transition. We also have to almost change the eq shape of the tracks channel itself just to account for drastic changes. This can be very challenging on the fly. This is my only reason for the one star off. If you could change this, that would b so helpful for many and five stars all the way! Thanks!

Update. Updated yesterday and tracks would not load. Restarted the whole app waited forever for it to hopefully reload and ended up loosing more rentals just to get what I needed for Sunday service. Usually have no problems but this was very upsetting.

Live. I’ve been running Playback for the last two years. It’s been a game changer for our team. The recent transition features have provided and given us the ability to worship freely.

Very good app. Hey my names Beau and I am involved on the worship team at Heart of the City Church! I love this app it has made worship in our congregation amazing and has helped a lot with us being able to have a wider selection in songs! One thing that I think that would make this app a 5 star app is if you guys made an unlimited loop time on your click tracks so that when we flow as a church we don’t have to keep restarting the click after it hits 10 min thank you so much. Can hear guide in the church speakers. We have a problem we haven’t been able to solve. We always have the click and the guide turned all the way up in our in-ears. However, we frequently hear from our congregation that they hear the “voice” in the speakers at the beginning of the song. Don’t know how to fix that! My other issue we haven’t been able to solve for is we can’t get the click and guide loud enough. In our in-ears that should be the loudest thing, but we frequently lose them when the multi track music overpowers them. Even though we always have the instruments lower than the click/guide, we still have a very hard time hearing them when the track music builds in the song. It’s very frustrating for our musicians. If anyone knows how to solve for this, I would love to hear it.

New update. Was using the app with no problem at all in'll the new update when I updated it I clicked on the app and it didn't open just closed it self the app wasn't usable at all, I had to delete the app and download it again it erased all my songs now I have to download them all again, and some songs it doesn't even let me download anymore it doesn't even open the song or download I needed the song for today's practice now I can't use the song sequence for the song because it doesn't download I'm very disappointed with this, everything was good till the new update not happy at all with this

Don’t know if it’s just my issue or not…. Initially I would’ve rated this app 25 out of 5 stars, yes.. the demo setlist was that impressive 😳 I was immediately intrigued and began to try and set up my own playlist. However.... when I go to Edit, Add a song, and then to Search, everytime I type in a song it will show me the name of the song but when I click on it to select it for my playlist, the screen says “Select Resources” at the top but there’s nothing below it. It’s not loading any of the tracks for the song. This has happened with every song I’ve searched. I’ve uninstalled and re-downloaded the app, restarted my phone, turn my WiFi off/on.. all of it. And this has not seemed to fix the issue, so to me it seems like an app error. It really makes me sad to rate this app 2 stars because I do realize the potential it has, but unfortunately for me it’s not working. I’m hoping someone can get back to me and explain how this problem can be fixed if it is indeed an error on my end. Thank you

I love the app, don’t love reoccurring cost.. I love how easy the app is to use. We have a small team and I love being able to add parts we are missing, but I feel like I am being eaten alive with reoccurring cost. We are a small youth without a huge budget. I really want the multi out feature. In order to use it, I must pay monthly. I would like to use my own tracks. In order to do that, I have to pay a playback cloud subscription. I wish I could load songs another way. I would gladly pay $100 or more one time. I can do a fundraiser for that. I just hate the reoccurring tax to use a program. If my worship team was big enough to pay the reoccurring cost, I probably wouldn’t need track.

New Setlist update is what I’ve been hoping for. One of my long-awaited features has finally made it in to the app! Will make it so much easier for multiple teams to use the same iPad. Haven’t been this excited about an app update in a long while. Thank you everyone at Multitracks! Now I got my fingers crossed for being able to trim individual song segments such as long instrumentals/refrains. Thanks again for all your hard work and making our jobs as worship leaders so much easier.

Panning Issue. I was having an issue but it was just user error. Always reach out to the support team! They are extremely helpful and patient. Thank you!

This makes it easy to worship. I live 3 miles south of heaven in Bigfork Montana. We have an unusual amount of great Musicians for the bands we have, but very few are all available at the same time. This allows me to add a drummer, or a bass player on the fly... it also adds so much depth in the mix when you add all of the extra little parts and wide keyboard pads.... super easy to use and way more affordable than hiring people to fill the gaps.

Brief update. Can’t open the app because of the new update :/ Not sure if I’m the only one facing this issue. EDIT: I reinstalled the app and the issue is fixed. No other issue besides the one previously mentioned. Thank you for the feedback.

Playback Pro or Abelton?. Honestly I have worked with both and Abelton has let me down a few times, and takes forever to learn. I’m not knocking it it’s a great program, but I’m kinda challenged when it comes to software and ease of use. Playback is my go to. I can’t say enough how beneficial this app is!! Not only is it easy to use but it is easy to load and gives some amazing opinions during a worship service. I have led worship on and off for the last 17 Year’s this is for sure the most easy to use forgiving and quality worship tool I have on stage with me. I wish they made it for my MacBook!! I would be all over it!!

Stability and quality!. We have used a few various softwares to run tracks and the stability and ease of use of Playback is awesome! Haven’t had a single software issue since switching over. The last tracks based software we use had phase issues, dropout issues, couldn’t handle 3/4 and 6/8 songs with markers. Would studder and skip, and it has been awesome to use this an no longer have a service where we are on the edge of waiting for it to fail. Demoed it at our main campus and have finally began the move to move playback to all of our campuses. Andrew G has been an awesome resource for use to figure stuff out. Answered all of our questions, gave us tips, and has made transitioning to Playback easy. Appreciate you and all your team has put together!

Great App!!. I love this but, when I play it from my phone, using headphones it only plays out of one earbud and that’s only on the app.. I’m not sure why but only on the playback app, I used it during church and the same thing happened it played really really low, and it was very embarrassing, but I LOVE THE APP, rehearsals are so smooth and on bad days I can go down a couple of keys

Tech Support Kudos. Started out with a big problem not being able to take the click & guide out of the FOH. Email support couldn’t solve the issue so finally got a phone call from next level support. They stuck with me and 45 minutes later finally found the problem. They were very helpful and patient going through all the potential problems until a solution was found. They were ready to assess the problem and call me back but that was unnecessary. Thank you!

Fantastic. This is a wonderful app, very easy to use and very effective. I would recommend to anyone. I would love the option to have a click only mode. Say you had an emergency and got of the click and needed to cut the track and bring it back in on the next section, ie chorus. If you hit pause and double tap to cue the next section, the band loses click, if you fade out the click goes, but the song still progresses and you still have to hit the pause button and cue the next section to effectively get back on track. It would be nice to have a way to have click continue through this somehow. Maybe a master click button up top or something. This would also be great for having click at the end of the song to play background music to after the song has ended.

Glitches with interface. Playback is GREAT most of the time. HOWEVER, every once in a while (including during this morning’s service!), it GLITCHES. We use the multi-out feature using one of the interface models LISTED ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE as a model that WORKS with the app. About twice a month, something goes wrong and the app either STOPS PLAYING in the middle of a song, or starts sending loud crackling or stuttering through the FOH. Obviously this is UNACCEPTABLE to have happen during a church service! We’ve gone through an iPad, two iPhones (all different models), and replaced THREE interfaces trying to track down the problem 😡😡😡

App crashes. This app crashes all the time. I have to then uninstall and reinstall it and then reload my whole set list. I’ve updated everything so many times, but the crash keeps happening over and over and over again. It is so annoying to have some thing so important to my church service that I pay for but crashes like the devil lives in my iPad.

It’s awesome. I love this app, by far it has now passed the Prime app from loop community. I’ve been asking for tempo changes for a while and playback has delivered! One small thing though. I’ve tried loading one of the songs into my set list, but for some odd reason, it will change a chorus part for a verse. Making the track to crash. I’ve tried reloading and uploading the track again and still get the same result. This has only happen on my IPhone though. iPad works awesome. It’s just a little concern since my team úsese their phones to be able to practice the songs. Please fix this! Thank you! And awesome Job!!!!!

A great tool when it works. I’ve seen people say the tracks go out of sync and I never understood how that could happen since it’s one track played together...and then it happened. I just finished worship for midweek service and all of a sudden, the drums, keys, and guitar start playing avant-garde jazz or something. Do we follow the drums? The keys? It was a mess. I stopped the track and tried again for the next song. It seemed to fix it until half way. I just gave up and will probably close acoustically. I love the app but this was pretty embarrassing. I double checked that it was up to date but that was an experience...

Can you fix 1 thing??. I use my iPad for lead sheets as well as playback. It would be AMAZING if you would fix the iPad app so that it could share the screen with another app. I would LOVE to be able to see Playback on one half of my screen and OnSong or ChartBuilder on the other half!

Frustrating Free Experience. Nah. This review is for the free side of the app, and thus the premium version along with it. The trend of offering one download for a “free app” with a premium option is a huge bummer. What’s worse is that even though I’ve spent HUNDREDS of dollars at Multitracks, they want to nickel and dime you for basic functionality in an app that at the very least should be a one time purchase for regular account holders on the site. Channel strips aren’t labeled, there isn’t basic control of the outputs, etc. Very frustrating free experience. I don’t mind paying for premium features, but don’t offer a free version if its really just a demo.

Reliable.. Can’t say enough good things about this app and the team that made it a reality. I’ve been using Playback for over a year, and I’ve had almost no issues, and the very few issues I did come across were minor bugs that were patched in an update very quickly. The whole MultiTracks team is just amazing. If there is any major issue that they are aware of, they email us to inform us of the problem, how to work around it, and when an update will be released to fix it. Just awesome. This wonderful tool is very helpful and extremely reliable.

Great App, Helpful developers!. We have been using this for several years, and we rarely have an issue. When we do, support is super responsive and assists us quickly. I see some negative on the reviews, and I’m not sure why. Keep your iOS device up to date and be aware of other background processes! We do have a dedicated device for this and we use a Motu interface to send back 8 audio buses to the booth. Keep it up!!!

Click stopped working… now the pad. My band and I and my university have been dealing with some issues. Last month the click totally stopped, and although that was fixed this month the pad isn’t working for any of us regardless the device we use. Love the app when it works but it just hasn’t been

Works perfectly. Recomended wt any ios device wt at least 11A chip on it ,, (ipad mini 5th gen wt 12A chip works perfect and fast ! One more thing ! I am using this app directly to my mixer (Xiar18)beringer no need for external interface !works perfect and give u 10 channels !

I really want to love this app. When it works it works great and has been a phenomenal addition to the overall sound of our band. Unfortunately I must echo many other reviews on here because it is so glitchy and buggy so often. App crashes often and freezes during downloads. We have had issues with it causing audio distortion and most recently the click track will disappear in the middle of the song only to reappear later. The design and UX is beautiful and I love the transitions but ultimately will look for another option that offers consistent performance I can trust every week.

One small tap for man, one giant beat drop for mankind. Okay, I've got to rave about this app for a moment! Seriously, in an industry of super complicated tools, this one is a breath of fresh air. So easy to use and just... smooth. The intuitive design coupled with the seamless functionality makes music production a breeze, even for beginners. I've had many years playing with many different softwares and interfaces. The Multitracks community, and Playback specifically, take the win for me. And can we talk about Jonny Barahona from customer service? Absolute legend. He didn't just make my welcome experience smooth – it felt like catching up with an old friend. It's not often you find an app that's great AND backed by such genuine customer care. Big thumbs up from me!

Just What I’ve Been Searching For!🙌🏼. Playback has been THE BEST TOOL for our worship!! I have used others in the past few years to accommodate our services ..... and those do not even hold a torch to what playback does! Even though I wish I could save my changes to the song set (even in the library/returned to the library) I still gave 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because playback creators deserve it!! ⭐️PRAISING THE LORD FOR MULTITRACKS & PLAYBACK⭐️

Pan doesn’t work after upgrade. The app was working great after I upgraded to iOS 11. Now it doesn’t pan click and backtrack. Hopefully you guys are aware of this and are working on a update. I have version 5.3.8 (#4398). If you depend on this up to run your backtrack live, do not upgrade to iOS 11 or have a spare Apple divide

Torn between Apps.. I love this app and everything that it does, however I wish the layout were a bit more user friendly. I’d love to see a complete layout of the song in which you can tap the sections you’d like to jump too instead of having to scroll back through the song. Also, I wish being able to jump sections and add automation were free like Loop Community. I love that the songs you’ve purchased show up in the app ready to load in, but the fact that I’m having to pay for features that are free in other apps is what made me stay with LC.

Super impressed!!. The app had really surprised me but not only that its been a blessing for my church. I would spend hours on other programs. Now its clicks away. I would like to recommend a tap temo. That way if on the fly i need to change tempos i can. Just a suggestion. Keep up the awesome work on this amazing app!!

Why pay for a subscription if you don't have to?. If only there was another option that didn't require a subscription? 🤷‍♂️ I used to use playback and I paid for the subscription, but have switch over to using Prime by Loopcommunity. Prime does not require a subscription, but playback has the cross fade option where prime does not in its most recent update. I heard that prime will have cross fade soon though, so playback will have to up its game or be completely free if they want to retain their customers.

Subscription related stuff is glitchy. This app is great when it comes to use in a live performance. Where it's insanely glitchy is when you use subscriptions and rental credits. Using rental credits requires it to process before you download the tracks. This very often gets stuck in processing limbo, preventing you from being able to download the track. One time I had a Pro subscription, then decided to upgrade to Premium. It didn't let me upgrade until the Pro subscription ended, preventing me from using the Premium features for weeks.

Crashes every time i try to open. Not sure whats wrong with new update but when it shows login screen it just crashes the app

Unless You’d Rather Buy Ableton..... This is the app for you. Even then, I think it rivals Ableton and other software for click tracks. For the price you pay, the features, enhancements, and overall functionality is stellar. It’s the sale of the century. I work in software development, so I see and understand this from a different perspective, but recognize the quality and see this as a well built app. As church drummer who drives the click tracks from this iPad behind a drum cage, I couldn’t ask for more. Sure, bugs are present here and there, but that’s today’s software! You’re gonna have defects no matter what you do. With fast development cycles, this happens - It’s the nature of the beast. Shout out to the devs at Multitracks! You guys are solid!

Great app but continually crashes. Needs to be updated and fixed asap

Game changer. This is an awesome tool. It in no way creates worship. BUT helps facilitate great worship for those who are worshippers. It allows you to bring depth of sound to a song. Enables your band to learn songs faster. Adds dynamic to songs. If you love Jesus and love to worship then this tool can help you, your band and your congregation. There is a learning curve and adjustment for your band. But it will pay dividends in the long run. It’s been a massive blessing to us.

This is app great. I've been using playback for more than a year. It's the 'band' that has accompanied me and one or two others, every Sunday. It was a little glitchy to start with but not any more. I've really appreciated the improvements and extra features added along the way. It's really helpful for practise as you can solo your instrument and great to just sing with. I'd love to be able to change the tempo and have more keys per song available. That would make 5 star rating :)

Great for Schools Too!. Andrew and Multitracks have been fantastic! Trying to set up a Multitracks ecosystem within the school context wasn't particularly straightforward but despite that and despite living on the other side of the planet, Andrew was always available and willing to help: Legend!

Awesome app, but could be more awesome.. Awesome apps guys! P.s. Could you add the ability to sync playback over multiple devices through local wifi? You can see how useful that could be.

Not reliable. Freezes frequently. Sometimes the files glitch out.. no option to share accounts with more than 2 devices? I got a whole team of worship leaders.

Not ready. Has the potential to be a great app one day, but right now it's glitchy and slow. I wouldn't advise using it live just yet. I'm on an iPad Air. Hopefully the developers sort out the issues because it's got some really good, powerful features.

New update simply awesome!. The new update basically replaces my need for ableton live. You can now set midi cues for your song lyrics and lights with less of a learning curve; increasing the excellence level. Simply amazing!

Amazing App!!. This app has been a game changer in our Church. We are a mid sized church and can be limited with the amount of worship players on any given week. This has given us much more freedom and a much larger range of music. They are constantly upgrading the app and giving more robust features as well...directly from user feedback. Every day it just seems to get better and better!

Could be good.... By the looks of the app, it looks great, but it wont allow me to use it since you have to pay $10 and i dont want to pay

Looking for something else (1 year member). This app is great when it does not get updated and start crashing for no apparent reason after updating, the app wont even load, this happenend 2-3 times after an update was released.. right now it is useless and we rely on this for shows, ipad, 2 iphones m, same problem crash on startup

Great app. Until it stopped displaying name of instruments and not playing sounds when connected through audio output. Something to do with iOS updates possibly.

Great App! All it needs is the ability to plan sets. This app is literally a game changer... Only thing I recommend in the future is that you are able to plan at least up to 3 sets so you can work ahead of time instead on just working on the week of.

Won’t open. Keeps crashing every time I try to open.

Rental issue. The app just made me use 4 rentals. I had 4 songs from a few weeks ago that expired, which was fine. But when I opened the app after telling the app not to use any rentals and pressing cancel, it went ahead and used 4 rentals anyways. Not really impressed by that.

Latest Update. Everything was great until this latest update. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. Now when I tap the app icon, it goes to the splash screen then closes. Not usable at all now. Please fix. It does work ok on my iPad though.

Sound not working. Hello, why is sound not coming out when plugged to a speaker? It works through the cellphone speakers but not connected to a mixer.

Cloud. Love the app just wish I did not have to pay for the cloud services to put my own music into playback.

You lost me by charging a monthly subscription. While your app may be a dynamic well done app the fact that I have to pay monthly ($4.99/month) to upload and playback my own music is a deal breaker. Your charging $60/year for cloud storage that can only be used by your app for music.

New update. Since the new update I have not been able to move the songs within the playback app. I don’t know if I need to delete the app and reinstall it but then I’d have to reload all my tracks in Settings

Glitches. This app is great we’ve been using it at our church for years but it always gives us issues and we have to be paying every week for our premium membership which should only be once a month and the costumer service is horrible we never get replies please fix the glitches!

Most recent update and all iPad guides are off beat. Most recent update causes all vocal guides to be about a quarter beat off... very very difficult during live performances to stay on beat... great app other then that.... please fix! Tested on several iPads.

Cool music app. This music app is a monopoly they charge you too much for music and then you have to pay for the service on top it? I have spent like $500 plus on the music and I regret spending my money on here.

Great idea... not dependable. I’m running on my iPhone and the app will randomly put the guide in the wrong spot and do some very odd things with the click track. I don’t trust it to use in a live setting

Only plays through right side???. I just purchased an accompaniment and downloaded this app but I’m only hearing sound through the right side. I’ve tried three different pairs of headphones and the problem persists, but when I switch to another music app everything sounds fine. What’s the deal?

Good but needs some updates. First let me say I have loved using this, I haven't been able to get ableton live up and running so I have loved being able to use some multi tracks in worship. However after using it for a while now I must say it is a bit glitchy. On multi tracks it sometimes loses your mix if you solo a channel, also sometimes the link feature doesn't save so when you re open the app they are no longer linked. Some things that would really help the click track feature be more actually helpful for live performance would be 1) to be able to name a track, (it's very easy to get lost if you put in a whole set of mostly click tracks) 2) to be able to set how many BARs, not just seconds, a songs ends after, and with that, 3) to be able to change the tempo without having to delete it and start over. Also somewhat major, on click tracks if you pause a song in the middle of it, go to another song and then come back to it later, it stays in the middle. This is really bad if your drummer doesn't realize this and starts it in the middle of a song then it automatically links to the next song too early!! But, all that said, I am still using it and it is cool! hopefully it just gets better with some updates!

Weird interface with my iPad Pro. Since my last update, I have a weird interface using my iPad Pro. I do not see the song playing anymore.

iPhone XS Max. Please push an update for the new iPhone! Not seeing the labels to adjust levels and the audio is playing the loop and click in the same channel.

Login error. I get(MTUser login error 200.) for the past 2 weeks and haven’t been able to use even though we’re paying

Could be better. We always have synch issues and it’s the only reason we use the app and it never works

Instant Crashes. App instantly crashes after updating to 5.2.3! As of right now, the app is totally unusable.

Not good right now. Since the update this app stopped working on all my older iPads. App opens and then closes or loads a song and then closes. Useless. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Does not split left and right. Don’t know what’s wrong with it. Have tried different cables and the app just doesn’t send clicks and guides to one side, and tracks to the other. Will update rating if this gets fixed. And I tried the auto pan feature, but it did nothing

Thankful for Playback. We love using Playback at our Church every Sunday. It is a tremendous blessing for us and many other Churches I know. Great App!

Not opening anymore. I’ve had this for the past year it’s worked great until 2 weeks ago it updated and now every time I open it closes right away, doesn’t even load.

Love playback. We used playback in our worship practice for the first the other night and it was awesome, great price for what you get, and j had great customer service.

Fader labels. Why no more fader labels on the free version?

Terrible Sound Quality!. You literally have the volume on your phone turned all the way up as well as the master and what instrument you’re practicing/playing and can barely hear things, that’s ridiculous.

Only limited to 1 Network session?. The app is great but for some of us, we need to have 2 separate Network Sessions in order to avoid same MIDI cue conflicts

Nickel and Dimed. Anything but the most basic feature requires extra monthly payments. Nickel and Dime churches when things are tough - how did that decision get made?

Not stable. Keeps forcing setlist mode. Update fixes it one week and it’s back the next. Pretty poor QA. Don’t trust if you depend on tools like this look elsewhere.

Unreliable/Unstable. Ive used this for around 6 months now and it’s stopped working mid way through several sets, its been unable to download at other times. It’s frozen repeatedly. Great concept but too unreliable Live. Used on 12.9 iPad Pro, iPhone XR, and iPad Air. All 3 had the same issues with this application.
