Endless Reader App Description & Overview

What is endless reader app? ** App Store's Editor's Choice **

*From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.*

As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures.

Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky!

** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. **

Features:
- 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase.
- Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way.
- Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition).
- 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way!
- Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

The endless monsters are so cool. Originator, you have got to make a full-length movie about the endless monsters. They are extremely awesome. Also, One of your word videos will be better with the Willhelm scream if the boys get hurt or something bad happens! also put the Wilhelm scream on the movie.

Still downloading complete pack after 3 days. We’re big fans of Originator and have purchased complete packs for the Endless apps that we have (123, ABC, Reader, and Wordplay), but Reader has been stuck on downloading words for the past three days, even if I leave the app open and on (connected to WiFi and >100 mbps cable connection). It’s been pretty frustrating, and I can only assume that the pack is either utterly massive, or there are issues with Originator’s server, neither of which are assuring.

Great app. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that the words should light up or be highlighted as they're read in a sentence and it would be helpful if they repeated how the word was spelled after the letters are dragged in place. Other than that this app is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend it. My 2 year old loves it!

Excellent app for my special needs kid. My son has Down syndrome and is in kindergarten. He’s been doing this app for a couple years. When his kindergarten teacher gave him a list of sight words, we’d find in on the app and spell it. His teachers and therapists were so impressed!

Thank you designers, creators!. Our little guy who’s four is special. Timothy wasn’t forming word sounds, or even beginning to letter. This fantastic, adorable, clever app has helped our sweet Down Syndrome angel really progress! He gets certain pride and joy from the animations, sounds, and monsters like Rocky when he does each exercise correctly. Truly, such a blessing to his learning. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will support your apps 100% and recommend them highly!

Great app, wish sequential spelling option available. Fantastic app, but recently downloaded the school edition of Endless Spanish and love the sequential spelling option which forces the child to sound out the word. Wish this app would be updated to include this option as I don’t want to spend another $30. But otherwise fantastic app!

Amazing app with one fatal flaw.. This app, and many of the other endless games are great and have a really effective way of teaching the letters and words. Unfortunately they are completely “open” for exploration which means that my daughter simply selects the words that she likes the animations for...and skips over the rest. It would be much better if there was a way to lock the game down and guide the kid through a set of sight words systematically. I don’t let her play it any more because she literally just goes back to the same 3-4 words over and over and over. It’s annoying.

My kid loves it but I'm not sure he's really learning anything. My kid likes this game a lot. But I'd like there to be a setting to require words to be spelled in order. He already know his letters so he's just dragging them onto the model word in whatever order he pleases. He can't possibly be learning anything useful about spelling or reading. This feature seems so essential that I'd gladly pay extra for it -- although honestly, I can't believe it's not the default.

Great Until You Switch Phones. I purchased the first set of words and my son loved them. It actually helps with his speech impediment and makes it fun. The app was awesome until we got a new phone. My son got an early gift from his grandma (his very own phone) and I put him on my family sharing plan. All the learning apps I had purchased for him we were able to upload on to his new phone and pick up where we left off except this one. It’s showing all his levels are locked and for him to continue I have to purchase the same levels I just purchased not too long ago. I feel this app should allow us to transfer to another device just as the other apps did. I have to give my phone to my son just for him to use this one app which makes it inconvenient when I also use my phone. If it hadn’t been for this I would have given this app 5 stars.

Wonderful!. My son is having issues with his letter sounds and recognition. This app has helped him so much. It sounds out each letter in a fun way that he likes to mimic. And then he gets to put the words into sentences. There are no pop up ads to frustrate me or him. He asks to play this everyday and has no clue how much he is learning. I can’t say enough about this app and the great learning tool that it is if your kid is needing a little extra help.

My 2 year old LOVES this. My 2 year old loves this app. I was almost too cheap to buy it, but I’m glad I did. He recognizes almost all the words. I even wrote the words on paper and he can recognize them (without the pictures). I posted it on social media and I got a lot of friends asking how he learned them. We just purchased the endless numbers and doing the Spanish trial version :)

Love this app!. My son has struggled to read with his developmental delays. This app is wonderful & so much fun! It's great to have another tool to encourage letter sound recognition & sight words. Not sure why there is some negative reviews on here about needing light up words and letters needing to be placed in order. Kids don't learn in uniform. They do much better with non restrictive, creative learning. The whole point of grabbing the letters is to hear the letter sound, see the letter and then create the word. Which is then put in a sentence. It's about sound frequency and letters. We love it and it's been paramount in my child's development!

Teach your kids to read.. I bought this app for my two year old eight years ago. Today he is reading at 6th grade level and is the best reader and speller in 2nd and 3rd grades. My two year old grandson is now learning to read. Love this app.

Worth it!!. So this app is good but it does give u 5 levels to play just FIVE it’s not enough levels to play but it’s much worth it then the Endless academy because the Endless academy lets u play all the games u make in to one big game but it lets u play 2 levels only and that’s why I give this game a five star.

Slow down, add highlight. I like the app but it needs to highlight when the words that are being read and also a way to slow down the sentence being read because it is fast for my four year old.

Would like an update. Used for three kids before school started. All love/loved. (Started back in 2016) After child started school, would really like the option to make a list of just the words they are studying that week, so we don’t have to search for them on two different list or in the ALL function every day. Add the word “A” and “i” largest list is for the second 9 weeks of school with 37 word. We start with a small group and keep adding every week.

Really fun. I use to play this when I was 2-5 years old. I loved it. It taught me a lot of words. I am 12 years old now, but ever once in a while I come back on and play just for the good memories. It’s a useful app for young children and I recommend it! 😊

2 year old has all but mastered. Daughter started using at 18 months. By 2 we unlocked all levels. At 2+ she was manipulating multiple letters at once. At 2.5 she is on to Wordplay. It’s absolutely astonishing

My granddaughter’s entire childhood. I bought this for my granddaughter and she loved it and learned a lot from it and didn’t even think she was learning because it was so fun!

Please limit video replays. This has helped my autistic son learn the alphabet and all the letter sounds. My only issue is he can stem playing the videos over and over again without working through the letters and words. Please limit it to one or maybe three times max. Or let parents set a limit for it.

So loved for over two years now!!. My now 4 year old started using this (the free version ) app at 18 months and loves it!! At 3 years he still loved it so I finally broke in and bought an expansion. I then found the numbers and into age 4 he’s still love all of it!! Great job designers!!! From the little bit of free to the design of it hands down amazing!!

Fun word play. This app is very well done it’s educational and my son loves it. My only complaint is that they put the expansion packs for purchase in the queue with the words and my son gets stuck on wanting to open and purchase them. Otherwise this app is perfect and fun for us all to play together

After 5 kids - If I could pick 1 app this is it!. All 5 of my kids used this. It is the closest thing to teaching to read on autopilot, and they enjoy it. To give you an idea of how well kids respond to it, my now 11 and 14yo daughters saw their youngest brother start using it the other day and got excited like they just saw an old friend. That 14yo just got a high school academic scholarship btw so thanks endless reader for being part of a solid foundation :)

Genius idea!. It really is! This application got my not so curious in words or letters child to give this one a try! Simple but smart & I am looking forward exploring more words & different levels of this application. Thank you for this great, fun learning tool.

One of our favorite apps!. We love this high quality learning app. All of my kids have enjoyed it and I would much rather pay for good quality rather than need to navigate ads. Worth every penny. We own the fully expansion of almost all of their aps.

Almost flawless sight reading 4 toddlers. Thoughtful animations, super effective sounds paired with each movable element on the screen (ie sound of letter playing when child drags it across screen to spell a word), seamless scrolling through available words & fast loading times make this app one of the best I’ve seen for child with ASD (or any toddler). My ONLY suggestion would be to somehow highlight the sentence being read (in sync with the reading) so that the child can easily and intuitively read along - seems like this would really tie the whole experience together for maximum impact. My daughter LOVES the app, but I echo another review in that she often just waits to hit the replay button to watch the animation again. If the sentence text could somehow dominate the screen or come alive a bit more during the final reading, that would make this the best educational app I’ve ever come across.

I adore this app!. I adore this app, it has taught my kids in the class as well as my son how to read sight words in the most fun and interactive way! The only thing I would love to see added is the words to light up as the sentence is read, so the children can follow along.

Missing Words. I dowloaded the original App that came with free Level 1 words. I liked it so much that I bought levels 4-8, and 9-12. Then, all of a sudden, wodrs stared disappearing from Level 1. At first it was just a few, but now I am left only with words starting with a-e. THhe rest have disappeared. What the heck is going on?

Love this app so much!. We got this app when my daughter was two. She needed help dragging the letters to the spot so we’d play together. She’s been playing it for a year and a half now and every time she plays she learns more. She now know her letter sounds, she can spot read the words! She loves watching the cute monsters do stuff over and over like bake cookies! We ended up buying the $15 upgrade. Worth every penny!! We also bought the endless numbers and the robot game from this app maker she loves and learns all three apps!

2.5 year old (hyperlexic) loves this game. My two and a half year old loves this. He’s got about fifty words down in the last few months. It’d probably be more but he loves some of the animations a lot and will do the same words over and over to see them. Thank you for this simple and effective game.

Great Customer Service. I had some trouble with an app malfunction and the support staff were so attentive, patient and kind. They helped me to fix the issue to get the app working again, including over the weekend. My daughter loves this app and it’s especially helpful as we’re home schooling (Covid restrictions). Thank you so much!!

He’s reading!. My son is almost 6 and in kindergarten, we suspect he has autism and is currently going through screening. I heard about this app and decided to drop the 30$ on the full version. After just a few weeks he’s starting to recognize most of the two and three letter words and is even able to write the words from memory. He loves practicing on this app and I’m sure it will only get better!

Great, but wish it had one extra setting. Our boys love this app, and it has helped them identify words in books. We’ve paid for the complete set and I feel it was worth the money. My only complaint is that they enjoy the animations so much that they’ll spell out a word and then replay the animation 10+ times before moving onto another word. I would love to have the option to hide the replay button so they have to spell the word again if they want to rewatch the animation.

Son loves it, but..... My two year old loves this game but after while the app glitches and it flickers or it sometimes fades the words out. Only way to fix it is to close the app completely out and reopen but the glitch happens again after a little bit of playing.

Works amazingly!. I wish I could sing praises on how amazing this app is! My 3 year old is learning the words and learning how to read as well as putting them together in a sentence. It also has helped her pronounce the words effortlessly. This app was so worth it! Best app in the App Store for kids learning to read. I promise

Forgot the number 9. I those this app. It is terrific for my son. He struggles with talking and has a very small vocabulary for a 3 year old and this game has helped so much. I appreciate the consistency although, the number nine appears to be missing. I found 1-8 and 10 but I did not see nine. I wish that you would add it please.

No Checks on the Learning. I really had high hopes for this app. I bought the full version from the beginning for $30. Now as my 4YO is going through it... there’s no way to ensure she is really learning what is being shown to her. There is no check/test/quiz or something. You can’t even select a sub set of words to continue studying. It’s really annoying and I’m really displeased with this app that I spent money on. I truly feel like it was waste.

Needs option to turn off repeat button!. This app is an excellent tool for teaching toddlers how to read! My 2.5 year old can read a lot of the words in this app! Animations are super engaging. However, I really really wish we could have option to TURN OFF REPEAT BUTTON!! She tends to keep repeating the animation portions more than 5 times, and if I don’t intervene, she will keep repeating, which means she is not interacting or learning and just watching! She tends to get frustrated if I keep prompting her to move forward. Other than this grievance, the app is pretty nice.

Homeschool mom and love it. I downloaded this at the beginning of the school year to help keep my toddler busy with something other than a tv show during school time for her older sibling, didn’t expect much. So happily surprised with how much this has helped our 2yo learn so many words, letters, and letter sounds! She loves it and is reading site words and knows a lot of the alphabet from it!

Awesome! Paid version.. This app is pretty much pre-p and K courses both PLUS in one app. It teaches phonics, sounds, pronunciation, enunciation, example in a sentence and is very interactive. You can chose from 3 level many many words nice graphics and clear readers! I had to come comment even when we’ve had it for a long time I never realized how good this app is made, I can now get my daughter to stay learning to read while we play together with this app. Thank y’all!

Good but it can be better. we brough all 3 level word pack for this app and used for half year. Today when I play with my daughter sone pronunciations of letter are very robotic. For example the word myself, the l sound lalala. It should sounded ell instead but the system simply uses the default pronunciation. This makes learn much harder for learn the flow of pronunciation.

My 5 year old daughter loves!. She really loves this app. I tried purchasing more but it doesn’t seem to go through. I double click to purchase then it just sort of shuts down. I tried reaching out to the app developer but it went to a warning page instead saying someone was impersonating the original site and the link wasn’t safe ????? I’d really love to buy more but can’t seem too.

Family sharing fail. The app itself is great! Our grandkids ask to play it on our phones every time we see them. So I bought a big $$$ pack. Turns out that it does not "family share." Only the FREE part of the app is shareable!!! Who needs to share the free part of the app? The purchased part will not go onto my husband's phone. He would have to sign in to MY Apple ID to use what we bought. I'm sorry, I'm not spending $60 for this stuff. I wish I would have known this before I bought any.

So educational and fun!. My 14 month old uses this app along with the Endless Alphabet app. He has already started learning so many new sounds and words! Definitely recommend, worth the money to download a pack of more words! I can see my son using this app for years to come.

Son finished the “free” portion in less than 1 day. The 1st 10 site words are free and have cute graphics, however you must pay for anything after. It doesn’t even get completely through Level 1, before having to pay for more words. Truly disappointed. Maybe if we could afford to pay to unlock all the levels, it would be more beneficial, but that would cost fortune. Cute idea, but we can continue learning site words another FREE way just as BENEFICIAL.

Do not recommend. I purchased the 4 pack bundle a while back. Every time I get into the app it says it’s downloading new words. I don’t actually think the feature works. Also for the last 5 years step 3&4 has said new words coming soon. I don’t think the developer actually pays attention to this app. If your going to use this don’t purchase the bundles.

Needs a progressive learning feature. My 3 year old loves the game but really only wants to do his favorite words, there are a bunch he just hasn’t touched. While it’s nice the game is open ended I think it would benefit from a mode that progressively builds up a vocabulary. Do one word to unlock the rest. Revisit previous words repeatedly before moving on. Or at the very least some rewards for completing new words! Also it’s frustrating that words can be written out of order-that isn’t very helpful for spelling! You should require that words are spelled left to right, like in Wordplay! Also as others have said, optionally remove the repeat button so kids have to work to get the animation.

Deanna. Until recently, I would have given Endless Reader a 5star rating as my granddaughter loved the app. However, awhile back I did an iPad shuffle and passed her iPad to my grandson. I had to reload the app back onto the iPad several times in order to get all of the word lists I had purchased. Now I find that the app only works when connected to Wifi - which was NOT the case when my granddaughter used the same exact iPad just weeks ago. When not connected to Wifi, the app simply crashes upon opening I have tried to contact the developers THREE TIMES to no avail. As is, the app is useless, as my grandkids use their iPads in the car, without Internet connection. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and feel that my money has been wasted.

Good app for early reading. The app is pretty cute and my 3-year-old seems to enjoy it. I think some of the games he would get a bit more out of once he’s a bit older, so just might have hold on to it until then.

More words please.. I know it was hard for Trey to get every single word from the dictionary to the game, so why don’t we have more words like a, able, above, actor, actually, add, aid, air, already, also, angry, ant, apricot, aquarium, arm, art, assistant, bad, balloon, bath, bedtime, beg, bend, and more words? That would be great!

Educational Sensation!. This App is awesome - the words, pictures & vocals help my 2 year old to read and identify words!

Not worth it. Yes ok it's free to begin with and I can but up with the app only going up to the letter f before I have to buy more but I am so glad I didn't buy anything as this game just kept crashing. Ended up deleting it. Not worth the download.

Nana. Brilliant. Really helped grandson with diagnosed speech delay. He could play at 20 months old(alone or with us) and loves it. Speech and vocabulary at 26 months now very good and talking in correct sentences 5-7 words, plus big vocabulary. Fun for us and him. Recommend for fun or speech.

No downloads. My children love this app so I decided to pay for the full version and get the extra 20 words and now it will not download the words I paid for :(

Love it soooo much an i 10 years old!!!!!. Bootiful oooo

Great App!!!!. I think the emphasis is fun with this app and it certainly is a lot of fun and I can only see it getting better. I'm no expert on the matter of teaching children but I think once you add humour into the mix it triggers something in children and even adults. Don't take my word for it just google "mrs doubtfire no meat big feet dinosaurs". ;) Sorry I digress.... Great App!!!!

Very happy. My 2.5yo daughter loves this app, I would love it if you added a feature where I could add her name to the letters so she could learn to spell her name while playing.

Exceptional app!!. What an amazing app! The animations are awesome, making learning fun and exciting! I recommend this app to anyone with young children. They'll never get bored of learning with this app! 👍👍👍👍

Needs Educational Support. Excellent graphics and entertainment however this app needs an educational perspective. The developers need to research what constitutes a "sight word". They might also like to reconsider their pricing. One positive for this app is in its treatment of words at a word, letter and sentence level. Maybe provide the option for users to switch between letter names and phonemic sounds. Better still, allow the user to record their own to overcome pronunciation concerns. Keep developing!

Love These Apps. In a world of children's apps of questionable quality, Endless Reader—and it's sister app Endless Alphabet—stand out of the crowd. They are delightful, creative and educational. The simplicity and focus of the apps make them shine. From the cute animations and unique way of introducing phonics, your toddler is sure to be entertained. What I particularly enjoy about both apps is their focus on less traditional words. For 'A' you won't find anything banks such as Apple. Instead, your toddler will be delighted with words such as 'All' and the heart drenching animation if a monster who's eaten all his cookies. Purchase and be delighted.

Brilliant. Excellent idea, well implemented with lots of content. Suits my 3yr old perfectly and he is a discerning customer.

Already paid. Please restore my extra purchases. Occasionally devices to need to be replaced and reloading is required. My three young children use these apps and I have spent a lot of money getting your full packages but am unable to restore those purchases.

Fun but needs work. This app is certainly cute with terrific animations. However, from a learning perspective this app needs work. These aren't sight words - all, ball, cake, dog, eat, funny. These words are at different developmental levels. The pronunciations are unclear. The "t' is said as "ter, tie or tight". The app sometimes pronounces them phonetically, sometimes using letter names. Fun, but there are better apps for learning.

Priceless. My 4 year old son loves this app and I can't imagine what I would do without it at times when I need to occupy him quietly and with this app I am guilt-free as it's totally educational as well.

Awesome!!. Really love this app. I agree that there should be more sight words. But this app is still awesome and my daughter LOVES it.

Very effective. My six year old has been taking a while to learn to sound words out, so I bought this app for her and watched the animations. Combining this with other activities, I saw rapid improvement. When she went back to school after the holidays her teacher noticed immediately that she had started to sound words out, and I credit the cute and engaging animations in this app for that. If I could suggest one possible improvement, it would be with the consonant clusters like ‘ch’. Now that she has used this app quite a lot, I have to try and get through to her that when ‘ch’ and ‘th’ etc appear together, they should be counted as one phoneme rather than two. I’m sure she will pick this up before long, but I would love it if the Endless Reader folks could count these clusters as a single sound rather than two separate ones, in the relevant words.

Highly recommend this app!!. Wonderful app. My son has learnt so many words from this. And even when I write the words down myself he is still able to recognise the words and read them. For a baby that was in and out of hospital and had to play catch up with his development and especially with talking this app has help him so much. I love it!! For me I would also recommend to not buy all the words straight away stick to the free ones for a while then as your baby learns the words add more to them. It does cost a little bit but fully worth it. For me and my baby anyway.

Unacceptable accent. There should be an option to choose different accents, or to record new audio for each card if desired, because not only does my child not understand what some of the words are in the accent provided, she's going to be told that she's saying them wrong if she says them like that at school. A more neutral accent would have been a better choice.

Would love to see more of your great work. I love everything about the endless reader, alphabet and numbers. I love watching my twin 6 year old boys play and learn from it. Would love to get levels 9, 10, 11, 12 for them soon. Would love to see if you guys could create a writing program just as colourful and just as noisy. Thanks for the great work Would love to see if you can do an app for kids maths

Learner lover. I actually think my son is learning from this app! He was really un smart but just after 3 days, he was super smart!

Good Learning App but….... It’s a good educational app but would’ve like to be able to change the voice to be British English, Australia English etc; particularly with the phonics. Maybe the developers would look at this option in the future upgrades. I paid for the full version. A warning for any early educator buying this app for their class; these words aren’t the traditional ‘sight words’. eg. ‘to’ is a sight word but in this app they use ‘two’.

2 year old loves it. The most educational game she has.

Love it. I have two kids and my oldest is 20 months old. I have started her on it early then what the app is rated for but she loves it and saying a lot of the words in the app.

Going to be purchasing the next app. Great app my almost two yearold daughter loves this and endless numbers

Brilliant but way too expensive to buy full version. My 4yo loves this app but got bored very quickly with what's included in the free version and would like to progress. But it's almost $50 to purchase all the packs - ridiculous. Please make this more affordable for parents!

Not really sight words. I like this game for my 4 year old daughter however I think it is a stretch to describe it as learning “sight” words. It certainly gets her to match the coloured letter(s) scattered around the screen and drag them to their position in the word which is in the middle of the screen in hollow letters and it does then say the word once completed, but I, personally, wouldn’t say this is the same as using flash cards.

Clever girl!. I do like the app but I mostly don't play on it. 😐😐😐 but my two little sisters can play on it!!!!

This sooo great!!. Great job devs! This awesome!

I am going. The only way you could get the best deal on your phone for a phone

Hello there. I would like that everything was for free so we’d don’t have to buy anything

Just fantastic!. I cannot recommend this app more for pre school kids and older! My son has learnt so much, thanks for this awesome app.

Excellent. My three year old loves this app. He's particularly entertained by the crowd messing up the letters and words. Cute animations and noises.

YASS queen sister shook. This is amazing I love this more than fortnite and yes I am not a 4 year old hehe sister snatched yeet.

Letter sounds need changing. Great program, BUT the animation needs to make the correct sounds for the letters and then heaps of schools would purchase this app. As it us now, our school won't purchase this app as it teaches a silly sound for the letter as you move it into place. This is confusing for young children learning their letter sounds. Please update endless reader and change letter sounds to the correct sound we teach in schools. Thanks

We love it!. We love it! Both my 6 year old and my 5 year old haven't stopped playing since we downloaded it. It's funny, educational and interactive! A cute spin off to the endless alphabet..

Can't buy packs. My daughter loves the app. When I try to buy a pack for her. The app makes a weird noise and then crashes. If you fix this issue I will give 5 stars.

Brilliant!!. This app is one of the best apps I have ever downloaded. My 2 year old loves it! She never wants to put it down!

Amazing!. Best educational kids app I have used. Not sure who loves it more, me or my daughter 😛

Brilliant app. I have this app for my granddaughter who is 2 1/2years old. She enjoys the interaction along with being challenged.. she’s a smart little SweetPea. I’m amazed how quickly she learns. I do still limit her time! Fantastic educational tool

Great app for kids. My 4 yo enjoying it very much. Really a great application with a simple and intuitive game play

"rate me 5 stars" pop ups mid game. It's a beautiful app and my kid loves it. But it keeps popping up a screen saying "rate me 5 stars" in the middle of her playing with it. I kept hearing her scream "dad! There's a thing with letters. What do I do?" interrupting her play and making her angry. Pretty doubtful the audience of this app would be able to rate it, so why annoy them with this? I'm sure many parents would gladly rate it anyway without prompts like this. I've rated highly other apps by this developer. But this is just annoying and disrespectful.

Great App!. This is a great app! I also really like the way the words look like their meaning :)

Funtastic. Excellent concept. Education as it should be. Knowledge, Fun with funtastic animation and sound. Well done developers. I can't wait for the next version and also the next app.

Greatest kids app ever. My sister is 4 and she couldn't read a single word this app thought her, her first word (all)

Good game. I bought this for my 1 year old son he uses it almost everyday, now he can put together little words like 'hello'. I bought the 2nd pack and now his learning how to put together bigger words, it's cartoon like so it keeps the kids attention to it He enjoys playing it, I strongly suggest this for anyone with young children.

Amazing app. Endless Reader and Endless Alphabet are two of the best kids apps in the store.

Fun and educational. I got this app for my grandsons to use on my iPad. The 5 yr old is learning to read and it's a great way to make it fun for him. My 4 yr old grandson who is autistic, also loves the app and enjoys the interaction and the sound effects.

Kids love it!. I really like this app a lot. I started looking at other apps and they absolutely paled in comparison when it came to having my child interested in interacting with the app! A couple of things would make this app unbeatable: As other reviewers have mentioned - it would be great if the words were actually the developmental sight words - a, the, is, and so on. In Australia we use the “Magic 100, 200, 300” and i’m sure there are similar lists in the UK and USA. Secondly I’d prefer if the words could only be spelled in order - so for Jump the J must be placed first, then the U etc. - reinforcing that it is the order of the letters makes the word a word.

Expensive but worth it. This app is brilliant, essentially it's a fun, engaging and in depth learn to read tool. Yes it's expensive, but this is a valuable skill and this app is effective. Keeping your toddler occupied whilst they're learning? Priceless

Perfect. Absolutely brilliant. Bought it for my 18 month old and she loves it. She's having so much fun with it and learning so fast. I can't recommend this enough.

It’s funny how it speeds up.. Lol

Good app but really annoying bug. My son loves this game, but he also loves pressing the home button on my phone and unfortunately this app has a bug where if you leave the app (by pressing the home button) then come back to it, it no longer makes the sounds for he letters or the words as you drag them around. When that happens, my son gets really upset so I have to quit the app then start it up again to get the sounds... but then when the home button is pressed again, we are back to having to quit the app again. It get very annoying very fast for both of us. And if you quit it too many times in a row, when it starts up again sometimes the sound gets all weird and then the app crashes. I wish the solution were as simple as "don't press the home button while you're playing" but my son doesn't get that, and he's obsessed with the home button... so anyway, it's a good app that we both like, but this bug makes it so we both end up annoyed and frustrated very shortly after we start playing. Without this bug I would have given the app 5 stars though.

My 3 year old loves this!. My daughter is learning words & sounds & is having so much fun doing it

Love the app. I Love this app, i use it for both of my kids. The developer definitely took time to create it and its very user friendly.

Nice but expansive. 40$ for a mobile app ? come on ! otherwise, it's great

Love it!. Both my kids love it, age 5 and 2. It’s easy enough for the two year old to use, even if she isn’t quite sure what she’s doing yet and my loves to show me what the words do when you complete them

Great. Helping my son whomhas delay in speech. Thanks!

Great, but missing some important words!. My son and I love this app but it’s missing some tricky works like ‘through’ and ‘thought’. Please add these!

Great app. We love the endless series. Very interactive, funny for little one. My daughter is 2 1/2 and already knows some words from this app.

Amazing app. This app taught my daughter to read before she was even in kindergarten. It’s made grade one a worry free breeze, her teacher can’t believe how well she reads for a 6 yr old. My son is 3 and is already sight reading words. Super fun game, both kids love it.

My kids LOVE it!. This app is amazing and truly helped my son progress with speech and knowing his letters. We took him to a speech therapist and that didn't do anything compared to their apps! Highly recommend it for every child.

Files too large, game repetitive. It takes up almost all of the space on my phone if you buy all the levels. I was hoping the game would change a bit with the more difficult levels but it's just the same thing over and over. I wouldn't recommend purchasing past level 1.

Amazing app. This is perfect for kids when they really need that focus on learning words

Awesome!. I love this app, my kids love this app, everyone loves this app! Fun learning!!!

nostalgia.. nostalgia.

Unreasonable price for in app purchases. My toddler loves this app but unfortunately it only comes with 4 words. He is super frustrated that his new words don’t unlock with progress and the word packs are super overpriced. 3-4$ for one word of $40 for a set of 12?! Parents, don’t waste your time.

LOVE this app!!!. This is the best educational app I've come across. My first EVER App Store purchase. Learning letter sounds and sight words is so much fun! My 5 and 3yr old really enjoy th stories, silly sounds and monsters! :)

Great app. As a parent and primary teacher, I love this app and so do my kids! Easy to use and my boys think the sounds are hilarious :) does the job of teaching sounds and words too. We also have Endless Alphabet and love it as well.

Does not work with family share. We purchased this app twice on the same family share account, and now trying to install it on a new account under the same family share, and it is asking us to buy it for a third time!!!!

Simply Amazing. I am absolutely in love with this app! My 12 month loves to sit and watch this app and it's even fun for me to watch. It's soooo creative and engaging and interactive. It's absolutely one of the best apps I have downloaded for my boy. I am going to be buying the full version bc of how much I love it. This and the numbers one - just outstanding. Well done to the creators of the app! Outstanding job! :)

Ok. Really good app

Great app for kids. My 2,4 and 6 year old all love this ap. he math one is great too!

MY LORD. g o o d m o n s t e r s.

Highly recommend it. Well designed app. It makes learning numbers fun and easy... pricey extended package but worth it

Paid but need paid again. I paid for the app but somehow it need me paid again after 2yrs???

So fun!. My child has learned so much!

Great App, highly recommend it!. My son is easily bored with most apps. This one really keeps him entertained and he's learning everyday!

Great. Need words like friend and plane

Rip off. I paid for the starter pack $16.99 to have the whole alphabet and then some and in the last month in an update I had it all taken away and only have A to J now so even though I paid for the stater pack and shelled out the money for what I thought I was getting for the life of my iPad now if I want it back I have to pay again??? Not right at all. Refund me or give me back the app I paid for.

Wonderful App!!. My daughter of 5 loves using this app! Well worth the price in my opinion.

Ffffffffbbbbb. I used to have this game and it was amazing

Reader of a reflection. OMG this was my fav app when I was a kid. The laughs that just never end. This would be my top pic if I had to pick this app between the most popular app In the world it would be this one. And getting to review this is just so amazing!!! Five star straight up. You have laughs that never end. Like now I’m in grade three And realizing what it’s like to get this app back. Like I can’t Wait to get this app AGAIN. And I’m only 8 and this app helped me so much I’m on level T . I can’t believe I get to do a review of this. thanks the creator of this app.

:]. This game thought me how to read when I was around 5-6 I have dyslexia and it helped so much just wanted to say that :)

Encourages Early Reading!. This app is amazing. Out of all of the apps on iTunes, this is by far the best tool for encouraging early readers.

Good. One of my kids' favourites.

HOLY JESUS!. you predicted nZ…!

Great App!!. Our son is 2.5 and loves this app. It has been teaching him how to spell and he finds the monster phonics hilarious! Really well made.

No sound.. How!?!?!?!?!?!?!!}!??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

This app rocks!. Wish I had this when I was a kid

Love this app. Hey there! My daughter is 4 with autism and she’s been playing this game plus the others for a while now and I’ve gotta applaud you guys for making these apps so much fun and educational for the kids. My daughter loves the sounds that comes from the game and giggles endlessly lol <3 “You can have a piece of cake after your dinner”, is her favourite saying I’d say ☺️ Thanks so much guys! Keep up the amazing work!

Really great!. My son started to use it when he was 4 and loved it!

Really cute. Really cute app, helps explain simple words with monsters acting out sentences. The letters make interesting noises, well thought out my son loves it.

From 4 to 7 year old kids. This is a good game. Thanks for creating the game

Hilarious. My kindergarten students LOVE all of their apps!

Fantastic. Fantastic app that I’ve enjoyed playing with my toddler as he learns his first words. It’s so exciting watching him figure out how to use the app on his own. He loves the characters, effects, and animations

Poor customer support. Quick to reply but not helpful. I was advised to repurchase the app to solve my problem. Plus I'm uncomfortable with how visible the in app purchases are. My kids are constantly accidentally getting into the purchase funnel and then asking for help. It's unnecessary and exploitive to have premium features in the regular flow of the game in a game designed for sub five year olds. Wish I had never purchased.

Hahaha. when i was 4 i use to have this game on my moms phone and i used to make the can sound to annoy all my 20 year old sibling

Excellent. Excellente application pour familiariser les enfants avec l'alphabet en anglais et les premiers mots à connaître.

Great customer service, great app!. I had sent a message to Originator Support because the app was crashing frequently on our old iPad. Within a couple of weeks, there was an update that corrected this - now my preschooler can "play reader on my taaaablet!" all she likes. This is a fantastic app with great animation, easy interface, and an intuitive way for kids to learn.

Amazed. I was very skeptic at the beginning but after a while noticed how my kid was advanced compared to all the other kids in school. Its been now 4 years since my wife downloaded the app and uncountable shares and recommendations. All i can say is don't hesitate, download the APP and see you on the other side! Amazing

This is amazing My mom and I learn how to spell hard word. Me my mom spelled hard word like pencils and does pls give this a five star!

Won’t transfer. I bought the whole package because few young children and wanted to pass it younger child. When I bought a new iPad, I cannot get the app to update on my new ipad. After reading the review, another customer had the same issue. I contact their customer service and got a generic reply once . Still can’t update on my new iPad .

Ugly characters and unnecessary sarcasm. Characters are ugly, sarcasm and irony are used, which is inappropriate for little children who don’t understand non-literate use of language yet. You would think this was made for jaded teenagers, not little kids. Prettier images and kind, child-friendly language would be appreciated.

Beautiful!. I got this game when I was 4 and I loved, and I mean LOVED the thing! Now I’m 10, and I don’t have much use for it, but my li’l bro is likin’ it! 10 out of 10!

3 year old engaged. My three year old granddaughter disliked everything else we had tried. She loves playing this.

2 year old loves this game. My 2 year old son has only been playing this game for 2 weeks he loves it and already can identify some of the words.

Keeps glitching and closing out. I just paid to expand the pack and every time we pick a word, the app closes out completely. It’s so frustrating!!!!!

This app is amazing. I’m a teacher and this game is great my students Love this app I teach first grayt so if you would like I recommend it all the way that is great for kids get this app it’s so fun

Not compatible. This app is great for my 3 year old grandson BUT it has not been updated for IOS11. Even though I have paid for the extra words, it is useless. I can not launch the app since the update.

So fun. I love the way this app teaches my 2 yr old son 😄. It’s simple, funny and creative and he lights up anytime he gets to play. I would say give it a chance and test it for yourself 👍🏼 you’ll be glad you did.

Autism Dad of an 8 year old non verbal. My son loves it. I hope one day he will be able to communicate more expertly. If he does, a big thanks will be to this app.

Good-ish. Word “action” is busy for learning. Slow it down. These kids are just learning. Also purchased while on a trip on my iPhone. Went to download later on my child iPad (separate iCloud acct) but family sharing didn’t include the $15 “in app” purchase for the complete series. So I’m in it for $30.

No waste money!. Can you all words free because I don’t want to make my dad waste money.

Add endless French. May you add endless French I wanna learn that language so badly and the letters and words sound diffrent but if you make a endless French I will be so happy maybe you can add Bonjour in it thanks bye

Bought the bundle pack and one doesn’t work. I bought the bundle pack and one of the apps won’t work and says my device is jail broken when it isn’t. I don’t even know what jailbroken means. All of the other apps work but not the reader app. I spent $60 to get all four apps and knelt three work

Endless Reader. My granddaughter loves it. Would love to see the words as the sentence is read be highlighted. That’s the only thing the rest is wonderful. Thank you

Great app.. This app is really good. And well thought out. My child like it a lot. Only thing is my child wanted more of the little animated cartoons at the end of each words. Lol

Please fix storage requirements. It’s consuming 1.6gb or storage which doesn’t leave space for other apps. This seems like a bug or lack of optimizations. Can you please fix?

Pretty Good. I really like this app except the l makes a /la/ sound instead of the correct /l/ sound. I wish they would fix this so that kids don’t learn the wrong sound when learning to read.

Son loves it, but..... My two year old loves this game but after while the app glitches and it flickers or it sometimes fades the words out. Only way to fix it is to close the app completely out and reopen but the glitch happens again after a little bit of playing.

18 month daughter loves this!!. I got this app for my daughter few years ago, now my second daughter now 18 months is using and is in love it. One of her favorite apps!!!!!

Awesommme. I used this as a child it helped me so much. the sounds were annoying but the memories were great.

THE BEST APP FOR CHILDREN!. We have been using these apps all three our children. We couldn’t be be any happier and impressed!

This the feature of the game. I love to read a lot for you

Wonderful!!!. My little sister LOVES this game! She’s four and I’m ten... I know my letters and words and I even play this game it’s so fun!! Good job the company that made this awesome, fun so many other wonderful words to describe this game!!! -Superwaffles10

Really disappointed!. This application is for kindergarten kids. I downloaded this application thinking because it said that is for kids up to 10 years old. Complete waste of money. Apple won’t refund my money even when she never used it.

Shouldn’t buying word pack one bring down the price of the bundles?. I bought word pack one (kind of accidentally, but i would hav wanted it anyways, and now I want the bundle for 1-4. Can I get a discount on the bundle or return word pack 1 so I can buy all four?

No longer have the app anymore but…. I don’t the app anymore now that i’m a 9 year old but, I loved this game at the time. Thank you for making it!

Awesome for children!. Do I even have to explain this?IS AMAZING my children have been using this since they were 2 they love it!

……... This is a great game your my 4 year old he loves it and he pretty much annoys me with the letter sound sometimes other than that it’s good

A great game for kids. This game helps kids learn words and putting them in sentences, with funny letter sounds and animations!

Interactive and informative. I love how it sounds out each letter and acts out each word so that pre-readers can figure it out. Do-able tasks and fun celebrations.

Best Kids Learning App. This is the best kids learning app. It’s engaging fun and all the while educational. Thank you so much for creating this game.

Something needed to be fix. It’s a fun app for kids but the app allowed the kids putting word not in an order for example the word cake. My kid can just randomly put the letters together without following the order to spell the word cake. So she can’t really learn the words at all and keep misspelling them. I was excited at first, for that reason I would not get full package.

WILL NOT DOWNLOAD. I have the other sister apps to this one and they are great. This one seems to be just as great IF it would download past the letter F…..I have removed the app several times and tried to redownload it and wait for it to finish downloading the rest of the alphabet to no avail. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. THEN to top it all off you HAVE to have a nickname to end a review but they are all taken of course. UGH

Keeping it lite. The app is easy and fun to use. The different levels allow for differentiation to keep it challenging. The videos are wonderful and keeps the child’s attention.

What happened??!?!. I paid for this app and haven’t used it in a while. I opened it and now it says I have to pay for access?’ I really like it so I won’t give a poor rating but please fix this for me

Good app for kids. The game is perfect for kids 1-5 years old. girls and boys will be a perfect speller for 1st grade and kindergarten or other grades. You’re kid will have fun playing the games and learning at the same time.

We found this app at the public library, we love it,. My daughter uses a speech device. We use this game to teach the spelling nd location of words in her talker.

Too babyish. I like this game and all but it’s just too babyish for me! Can you do something else like animals instead? Have you ever heard of pet characters? Can there be HOLIDAY themes as well? I would recommend pets and holidays? Maybe a station where you could cook? Partner with the app Kiddopia, please. Don’t get this app, guys, not fun to babyish

App not giving me access to purchased content. I purchased levels 2 and 3 and the app keeps reverting me back to level 1. Please help me to access the levels I already purchased.

Amazing!. This app is genius! It’s so funny it keeps the kids hooked and ready for the next letter, word and sentence! Thank you!

Great app. My son love this app. I highly recommend this app. I should’ve download this app last year when my son 2 years old.

In-App purchase is bs.. Great app. But super annoyed that I bought word packs only available on my phone. Family sharing should be available. Be honest (and not money grubbing jerks) This app is for kids. Most kids that will be using this app don’t have their own phone. This they are using their parents’ devices.

Endless Reader. Will you give us some more words, level four words to be precised? From A-Z. Angry, breakfast, cooperate, etc..

Rip Off. If your kid often breaks their iPad, you’ll be forced to purchase this app repeatedly. My autistic son is on iPad number seven. I refuse to purchase this app again. He could really use it. I screenshot purchase history, showing six times I bought it. The developer didn’t care. Apple also didn’t help. The educational side is good, but how does that help when you can’t access the content.

Good app but cannot share in-app purchases. My almost 4yo really likes this app a lot, and the design is really nice. It’s unfortunate and disappointing that in-app purchases cannot be shared through “family share.” My husband and I would love to be able to share the app purchase for our kid.

Love this App!. My daughter started using this app a couple months ago. She’s only 18 MONTHS!! She’s spelling words and repeating sounds! I recommend this to EVERYONE with a toddler!
